The Megyn Kelly Show - New Epstein Questions About ＂Missing Minute,＂ and Mamdani's Communism and College Controversy, with RealClearPolitics Hosts ｜ Ep. 1103

00:00:00.520 Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, live on Sirius XM Channel 111 every weekday at New East.

00:00:12.080 Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show. It's the heart of summer,

00:00:16.360 but the news cycle is not slowing down. President Trump holding a cabinet meeting

00:00:20.420 at this very moment. Plus, we've got big developments on the Democrats politicizing

00:00:25.560 the Texas floods, including some shocking sound from, of course, Rachel Maddow. But her colleagues

00:00:31.740 over at CNN are just as bad as she is on MS. I mean, just as bad. Remember when CNN tried to take

00:00:38.540 a turn to the more moderate and they were going to try to win back some of their conservative or

00:00:43.480 middle of the road viewers? That's over. This Caitlyn Collins, this Abby Phillip,

00:00:50.340 they're Don Lemon. They're just as left. It's shocking how far left they've gone. Remember

00:00:58.480 when that Caitlyn Collins used to be like, I'm from a southern state and I used to work for Tucker at

00:01:03.280 the Daily Caller, so you can trust me. Alabama, she's as far left as Don Lemon now. You watch her 1.00

00:01:11.200 show, that's who she is. Meantime, New York City Democratic Mayor candidate Zoran Mamdami did not

00:01:18.800 have the most patriotic statement about the 4th of July. We did. We're going to give you some

00:01:22.780 highlights from our big party. But wait till you hear how Vice President J.D. Vance responded

00:01:26.960 to Mamdami, which is an interesting thing because clearly the Republican mainstream is enjoying

00:01:35.340 elevating him. They see him as a Jasmine Crockett. They don't feel afraid of Zoran Mamdami. They love

00:01:41.840 him. They want him to be the face of the Democratic Party. And we should ask our panel today why that is.

00:01:47.860 Our panel is perfect to answer that question. They are the guys from the Real Clear Politics

00:01:53.020 podcast, which you can also hear live on Sirius XM. Tom Bevan, co-founder and president of Real

00:01:59.060 Clear Politics. Carl Cannon, Washington Bureau Chief for Real Clear. And Andrew Walworth, Chief

00:02:03.940 Content Officer. What does feeling safe at home really mean to you? Having good locks, maybe an alarm that

00:02:11.540 would, you know, make a lot of noise if someone actually broke in. But true security actually takes

00:02:16.200 more. It takes a system that works to prevent the break-in in the first place, that violation of

00:02:21.340 your space from ever happening. And I want to tell you about SimpliSafe. It's about security that's

00:02:26.560 proactive, not just reactive. Most security systems respond only after a break-in, but SimpliSafe's new

00:02:32.680 active guard outdoor protection helps stop crime before it starts. AI-powered cameras and live

00:02:39.380 monitoring agents detects suspicious activity. If someone's lurking, agents engage in real-time,

00:02:46.260 activate spotlights, and can call police, proactively deterring the intruder. No contacts,

00:02:52.000 contracts, I should say, no hidden fees. Named Best Home Security System of 2025 by CNET.

00:03:26.140 Great to be with you. Always a pleasure, Megan.

00:03:28.220 So we're not going to start with Mamdami. We're going to start with Epstein, which I just think is 0.97

00:03:34.940 so interesting. And I'm noticing something equally interesting. Some Trump loyalists,

00:03:41.040 some people who are avoiding the story. And I think it's because they don't want to get into sort of

00:03:47.400 civil wars within MAGA, but we don't care. We want to talk about what's happening. It's a big

00:03:55.020 news story now as a large faction of the right and the MAGA base is turning on part of the Trump

00:04:02.180 administration. And, um, I wonder what you guys make of it. You know, my own take on it this morning

00:04:07.520 on our AM update podcast last night, when I joined after party with Emily Jashinsky, a new MK media

00:04:13.200 offering that airs live 10 PM, youtube.com Mondays and Wednesdays was that this, I put it mostly on

00:04:22.040 Pam Bondi. And the reason I do that is because I know cash and Dan Bongino said a lot of stuff about

00:04:27.400 Epstein when they were private citizens, but ever since they got into the FBI, I have not heard them

00:04:32.460 torque up the conspiracy. I don't want to say theories, but just like thoughts and ideas around

00:04:40.560 Epstein. Their statements as public officials have so far been consistent with the statement they made

00:04:47.760 last night or on Sunday night to Axios in this statement that they released. But Pam Bondi has

00:04:53.900 been like putting oil on this fire since she became the head of the department of justice, 0.84

00:05:01.620 the attorney general. And I have to say, it's very unusual for the head of the DOJ to be speaking the

00:05:08.060 way she has been. Usually the attorney general tries not to make a lot of comments about the cases

00:05:14.260 they're investigating or have under their purview. It's been weird to hear her so vocal about it,

00:05:19.020 which led a lot of people to think, man, they must really be onto something. And finally,

00:05:23.440 we're going to get real answers on this case. And then the Sunday night news drop comes to Axios,

00:05:28.200 not exactly right wing friendly saying there's nothing, there'll be no more release of any documents.

00:05:33.560 There's no, they're there. He killed himself. There's no client list. There are no powerful people.

00:05:39.260 He was blackmailing and you're not getting another single document. So your take on it. Let me start

00:05:45.080 with you on it, Tom. Well, I agree with you. I mean, so Pam Bondi made this statement that she

00:05:50.660 said, it's sitting on my desk. And, you know, Peter Doocy asked about that at the briefing and

00:05:55.640 Caroline Levitt tried to parse that and say, well, she was talking about the review, not the list

00:05:59.540 itself. And so that explains this discrepancy that, that people are, you know, she just mentioned

00:06:05.000 the list. Let me just play that, Tom, forgive the interruption, but I'll play this on,

00:06:07.760 then you pick it up on the back end. Yeah. According to the report, this systematic review

00:06:13.720 revealed no incriminating client list. So what happened to the Epstein client list that the

00:06:20.220 attorney general said she had on her desk? Well, I think if you go back and look at what

00:06:25.160 the attorney general said in that interview, which was on your network on Fox news, go ahead.

00:06:29.780 John Roberts said, DOJ may be releasing the list of Jeffrey Epstein's clients. Will that really

00:06:34.360 happen? And she said, it's sitting on my desk right now to review. Yes. She was saying the

00:06:39.960 entirety of all of the paperwork, all of the paper in relation to Jeffrey Epstein's crimes.

00:06:45.400 That's what the attorney general was referring to. And I'll let her speak for that. But again,

00:06:49.640 when it comes to the FBI and the department of justice, they are more than committed to ensuring

00:06:54.160 that bad people are put behind bars. This attorney general and the FBI director are committed to

00:06:59.360 putting bad people behind bars where they belong, that they promised an exhaustive review. That's

00:07:04.780 what they did for any further details. I would refer you to the department of justice.

00:07:09.300 Very rare. You see Caroline Levitt on her heels or so obviously spinning. That was one instance. 1.00

00:07:15.860 Go ahead, Tom. Yeah. So, I mean, the thing about that is, is if that's what she meant,

00:07:20.300 that's certainly not how it was portrayed in the meeting when she said it months ago. So she could

00:07:25.680 just clarify it at any time and say, no, no, no, no, no, no. I didn't say there was a list. I just

00:07:29.060 meant the review. She also said there were tens of thousands of videos. And, and so, you know,

00:07:34.280 that kind of, she could have, if she wanted to clarify her statement, she could have, and she

00:07:39.340 didn't. And the other thing, you know, people have been talking about, I've been following this

00:07:42.500 obviously online is that, you know, so Ghislaine Maxwell is in prison for trafficking kids to, to whom? 0.97

00:07:50.140 Somebody, right. We, we know that there are people involved. And so look, I think this is a mess for

00:07:58.060 the administration and, and they have been, it is one of those things that it's been a super, you

00:08:04.440 know, highly public interest story. People have wanted to know what's going on. And, and it felt

00:08:09.820 like the government has been withholding information from them. We ran a piece on, on real clear politics

00:08:15.240 this morning from Mike Schellenberger, um, who's no, you know, right-wing nut and, and saying, look,

00:08:20.200 the, the public sort of Congress should demand and the Trump administration should provide

00:08:25.200 transparency on this issue because right now they've just kind of made a mess of it.

00:08:29.320 Yeah. What do you think, Carl?

00:08:31.640 Well, client list was an unfortunate phrase to be used to begin with. I mean, Jeffrey Epstein wasn't,

00:08:38.060 uh, convicted of being a pimp, I guess, I guess his girlfriend, yeah, his girlfriend was, 0.64

00:08:45.080 he had the, he was a creepy. 0.66

00:08:46.620 But just to be clear, just to be clear, Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty of sex trafficking girls 0.84

00:08:50.920 to Epstein, like finding young girls for Epstein's sexual pleasure. Go ahead, Carl.

00:08:56.880 But not, not for, you know, Bill Clinton or Alan Dershowitz or Donald Trump or these names that

00:09:02.200 people have floated for Jeffrey Epstein who killed himself in prison. That's the, the charge. Um, you

00:09:07.360 know, it's a scandal that the most visible, um, defendants in federal custody kill themselves or,

00:09:15.080 or killed. It happened to Whitey Bulger. The prison system is in the federal Bureau of prisons should

00:09:19.600 really be asked to account for itself. Why, why these people are killed, why these things happen,

00:09:24.920 the information should be made public. But if you're, if you're not, if you're not in the fever

00:09:29.260 swamps of conspiracies, you think, well, here's a narcissistic guy who finally got caught and finally

00:09:34.960 got caught in a justice system. He couldn't escape. He was looking at life in prison. If he committed

00:09:39.620 suicide, that's not, that's not unheard of that. It happens. Doesn't, doesn't like, doesn't make sense.

00:09:46.240 Um, and then, but the, the, the people loyal to Trump's, you know, kept spinning this, these

00:09:51.860 conspirators before he even committed suicide because they, they thought they, they, they could get Bill

00:09:57.440 Clinton or somebody like that. Then of course, you know, Donald Trump knew Jeffrey Epstein. The, from what I've

00:10:05.460 read and everything. And I looked into this at the time, a couple of years ago, when Trump realized

00:10:11.200 what Jeffrey Epstein was about, he, he recoiled from that. He, and he said, you know, he likes him

00:10:16.380 very young and he distanced himself from Jeffrey Epstein. So, so there, there's no reason we don't

00:10:23.200 have any evidence that these famous people, um, I don't want to talk about the prince.

00:10:28.660 Well, we know they were on the plane. They were on the plane and that many of them visited Epstein

00:10:33.700 Island and visited his Manhattan mansion. But Epstein had a very, very wide web of connections.

00:10:39.780 He, he was, he was friends with the president of MIT. He was regularly appearing at Harvard.

00:10:44.800 He was hanging out with royalty like Prince Andrew, but others as well. So it was very easy for Epstein to

00:10:50.740 get people on his jet and visiting him at his Island. It doesn't mean all of them were there to take

00:10:56.560 advantage of barely legal type young girls, but, but we get the thing. Look, we've had a couple of 1.00

00:11:04.300 things. We've had girls who were in that mansion say there were cameras everywhere and they knew that 1.00

00:11:08.600 they were being filmed like Virginia Giuffre. She's probably the most notable. She recently died, but

00:11:14.560 Virginia Giuffre lied many times about the Epstein case. I followed it very closely many, many, many

00:11:20.680 times. So we don't know what's true. Apparently there are videotapes of Epstein is how the

00:11:26.560 DOJ is making it sound now with these barely legal type girls. And in addition, we believe, 0.99

00:11:32.340 and I'm gleaning from what they put out in that statement, child sexual assault materials that

00:11:37.140 appeared to have been looked at on his computer. Like, forgive me, he was, we used to call it

00:11:42.740 kiddie porn, but you know, child pornography that it appears he might've been looking at.

00:11:47.980 And if you read deep on this case, what you find is that there was some case in which a civil

00:11:53.200 plaintiff demanded documents and certain files. And it appears that the DOJ may have found that

00:11:59.100 stuff on an Epstein computer at one point and had to produce it, or at least notify the other side,

00:12:05.240 they produced it. But there was a lockdown on any of that because you're not allowed to share those

00:12:09.940 types of files for the protection of the children. But that, forgive me, it seems like a non sequitur,

00:12:16.300 like his obsession with pornography or what he was looking at that he got off the internet is not

00:12:22.600 really what the issue is. It's disgusting and felonious, but Andrew, the issue is whether

00:12:28.280 there are powerful men who were using Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to funnel young girls or

00:12:34.880 underage girls to them that there's a list of that are now being protected by government because they're 1.00

00:12:40.940 so powerful or they're so wealthy that both sides of the aisle will just bend the knee to make sure

00:12:47.000 they don't get brought down. That's why people are interested in the so-called files or lists.

00:12:52.240 Yeah, no. And I, I think that you laid it out perfectly. And I think I hate when people just

00:12:58.000 call this conspiracy theory, because I think this is a very legitimate news story that deserves

00:13:02.600 to be looked into by the mainstream press. You know, the vice president himself said that before,

00:13:08.160 before the election, that this is a really important story and people should look into it.

00:13:12.460 He said they should release the list.

00:13:14.340 Exactly.

00:13:14.760 Use the word list.

00:13:16.020 Yeah. So I, you know, I hope people keep digging into it. There's a little wrinkle here that I'm

00:13:23.100 interested in. I don't know, but there is this minute that is missing from the, from the tape that

00:13:28.180 they released of his cell. The minute before midnight. I mean, I will say if you're a conspiracy

00:13:34.420 theorist, the minute before midnight is kind of too perfect. It's like a movie title.

00:13:38.880 Yeah. But it, uh, it, no, I think it's, I think it's a, it's a real question. And I think that there

00:13:43.920 is, uh, at least a plausible case to be made that this is a coverup and as such, it should be

00:13:51.820 investigated. Um, so, um, again, uh, you know, uh, whether Trump is involved or not, according to

00:13:58.860 Elon Musk, he is, uh, I don't know, but, um, I think you have to sort of wade through a lot of

00:14:05.220 Biden would have released it. Biden and Andrew, um, I mean, Merrick Garland would have released

00:14:11.880 that in the course of the election if he were, if maybe his name was in the book, but that doesn't

00:14:17.060 mean anything. You know, I mean, uh, Alan Dershowitz, his name was in the book because he was his lawyer.

00:14:21.980 That doesn't mean Alan Dershowitz was a client. And I'm well aware of the accusations against him by

00:14:25.740 Virginia Giuffre, which were utter bullshit, utter bullshit. Well, he was not, yeah, she, 1.00

00:14:31.740 he proved that they were wrong. He was not in the country. He was out. He was overseas when she said

00:14:36.880 he was, you know, in the silence. And she wound up confessing, oh, I may have been confused about

00:14:41.880 him, but you know, you mentioned the autopsy, which is sort of, uh, or like the, the, the death.

00:14:47.180 Was it a suicide or was it a murder? It's connected to the question of client list and whether he was

00:14:51.320 being blackmailed because people believe he was killed because they think there were these powerful

00:14:56.220 forces out there that had a reason to kill him. So those two do go hand in hand. And it's not just

00:15:02.700 crazy right-wing conspirators as Caitlin Collins was saying on her show last night,

00:15:08.920 Jeffrey Epstein's brother, Mark hired Dr. Bodden, who is world renowned for his skills as a forensic

00:15:17.240 pathologist who conducted an autopsy on Jeffrey Epstein and came out of the autopsy saying this

00:15:25.040 was a murder. He has a bone that was fractured in the front of his throat that gets, basically it

00:15:32.620 gets broken typically when you've been strangled, not, I guess, when you hang yourself. And there

00:15:37.580 were other indications by Dr. Bodden that led him to say, this was not a suicide. This doesn't look like

00:15:44.900 a suicide. So, and there were other questions too, that, that Jeffrey Epstein's brother has been

00:15:50.920 raising. So it's like, it's more than just right-wing nuts as like some in the press would

00:15:56.980 have you believe Tom who are saying, wait. And, and on top of all that, you've got the Bondi statements

00:16:03.380 over and over the one saying, she didn't say the files on my desk. She, she was asked specifically

00:16:10.080 about the client list. And she said, it's on my desk right now. Then a week later,

00:16:15.860 she promised Jesse waters. She was about to dump some sort of information dump that we were all 0.93

00:16:21.280 going to be really interested in. The next day was the influencer debacle at the white house

00:16:25.740 where for some reason she invited, invited some of the president's most loyal supporters and tried

00:16:30.900 to humiliate them by giving them Epstein file marked binders, which had nothing new in them.

00:16:37.580 It was all publicly released information that had already been out there. Then she acted indignant. 0.97

00:16:43.300 She didn't know it was the sleazy FBI who had withheld the real documents from her. She was going

00:16:48.080 to get to the bottom of it. Then not know. She said further release would come. One did not come.

00:16:54.980 Then she was caught on tape saying there are tens of thousands of kitty porn or child pornography

00:16:59.840 material that we found, which again is like a third issue over here. And next thing we know,

00:17:06.200 there's no, they're there. And by the way, on top of all that, that same week between Feb 21 and Feb

00:17:11.280 26 is 26. When Pam Bondi made those two statements, client list is on my desk and more information is

00:17:17.020 going to drop tomorrow. You had Alina Haba, who was then working for the president. She's officially

00:17:22.140 counselor to the president. She had been his private attorney in that New York ridiculous case 0.72

00:17:26.640 against his business. And she would go to work for Pam Bondi three weeks later saying this to Piers Morgan.

00:17:32.140 But in this case, in Epstein's case, it is incredibly disturbing. We have flight logs.

00:17:39.360 We have information names that will come out. Is it going to be shocking names?

00:17:44.500 I don't see how it's not shocking that there were so many individuals that were hidden

00:17:53.620 and kept secret and not been held accountable. Let's talk about the reverse. I believe in

00:18:01.400 accountability. So you have to now go through your process. Now, I won't say they're guilty until they

00:18:06.820 go through their time in court. But again, now it's time for accountability. We have seen for so many

00:18:12.600 years, Pierce, in this country, many investigations, subpoenas, testimonies in Congress, et cetera,

00:18:18.240 et cetera. But there's a general frustration with accountability. We take it halfway. We don't take

00:18:22.940 it home. And I really believe that now with Cash and Pam, there will be accountability.

00:18:27.920 Okay, Tom, what's she talking about? Names? Accountability? They're going to have their day

00:18:33.040 in court? I don't want to declare them guilty before they have their day? That's pretty specific.

00:18:37.160 Yeah. And to turn around and just say, oh, there's a list. Look, they want this story to end.

00:18:44.880 It's not going to end. In fact, it's probably going to make it worse because it has just raised a whole

00:18:49.040 new set of questions about, okay, now the Trump administration, who promised us accountability

00:18:54.240 and transparency on all sorts of issues, is now doing the exact same thing that previous

00:18:59.520 administrations have done. And you can already see that bubbling up online among Trump supporters who are

00:19:05.080 just disappointed at the way that they've handled this. And to your point, Megan, I mean, up until

00:19:11.060 24 hours ago, they had given a whole host of indications and statements pointing in the

00:19:17.720 direction of there being a list, there being names, there being people that were going to face

00:19:22.140 consequences. And now suddenly it's just like they wave a magic wand and it's like, oh, well,

00:19:26.020 there's nothing there and we're moving on. I don't think it's going to happen.

00:19:28.720 Mm hmm. What's interesting, though, as I say, I've been listening carefully to Bongino to cash

00:19:34.080 since taking office. They have not said the Bondi stuff. They are not out on that same limb

00:19:39.440 since taking over at FBI. Only she is. And one of the reasons that's interesting, Carl, is because

00:19:44.920 Trump sent out a tweet last night praising two of the three that we're talking about here. Cash Patel

00:19:52.220 and Dan Bongino, noticeably absent from the list, was Pam Bondi. And I'm he knows as well as you and

00:19:59.640 I know she's under fire. Go ahead, Carl. Well, I was going to ask you follow this story more closely

00:20:05.600 than we have. And I was going to ask you what what do you think is you have cash Patel, especially

00:20:11.660 and Pam Bondi, the attorney general and the FBI director, both appointed by Trump, both Trump loyalists,

00:20:17.220 both praise Trump all the time. But they're telling different stories. Who do you think

00:20:22.320 is right? Who do you think is telling the truth? Well, look, I my audience knows I am not very

00:20:29.620 conspiratorial at all. Like I disbelieve almost every one of them. I have no doubts that we did

00:20:35.160 land on the moon. You know, I'm just not one of those people at all. 9-11 happened. We didn't

00:20:43.980 detonate a building. Like, I don't believe in any of that. I don't none of it. No, I believe COVID

00:20:48.660 started in a lab. I'm not that crazy. You know, I'm completely taking all the government nonsense.

00:20:54.060 But I am one of those people who nine times out of ten, I believe it's government incompetence as

00:20:58.560 opposed to big like government machinations against us. But in this case, I don't know what's

00:21:06.540 happening. Bondi has confused me. I don't know what she's doing. However, I have not really

00:21:13.140 believed that there's a massive conspiracy around Epstein because the I know somebody very close

00:21:19.380 to the case. And this person knows everything there is to know about the case. And this person

00:21:23.060 all along has been telling me that it really was Epstein was into the barely legal types,

00:21:27.820 like legal, but barely legal, that Epstein wasn't having young children, you know, come to any of his

00:21:36.060 places and wasn't actually having interactions with any anyone who would be blatantly illegal.

00:21:42.760 And that this person said Ghislaine Maxwell really wasn't a pimp for other, you know,

00:21:49.920 farming out young girls to other men. Now, I didn't know whether it was true or not. But I have 0.99

00:21:54.340 all these years, I have yet to see something that disproves any of that. And on top of that,

00:21:59.380 the DOJ brought a case, they brought a case against Epstein, they brought a case against Ghislaine

00:22:04.720 Maxwell, like the DOJ were engaged in a massive cover up. Why would they bring these cases? You know,

00:22:09.700 why would they open up these federal investigations against them and go into federal court or be

00:22:15.100 prepared to in Epstein's case before he died? It just doesn't seem that's not exactly how you

00:22:20.640 should orchestrate or would orchestrate a cover up. And I also have maybe I'm the only one,

00:22:25.520 but I trust Bill Barr. And he took a deep dive on this and swore to me that Epstein killed himself.

00:22:32.660 I believe Dan Bongino when he's on Fox saying there's nothing. We've looked at the tape. I know

00:22:37.720 maybe there's a missing. I don't know how he's going to explain that, but I believe him. And I

00:22:41.500 think he's told me in many settings, there's nothing, there's nothing to support that he was

00:22:46.800 murdered. And I believe him. So anyway, that's where I am. But I understand why other people

00:22:51.560 disagree with me based on all the discussions we're having. Can I add one thing to what you said,

00:22:55.980 Megan? Could the answer simply be that Pam Bondi is over her head? I mean, she,

00:23:00.260 she came to office with a really good resume, Attorney General of Florida, you know,

00:23:05.500 prosecutors that they've, you know, in the federal system who they've now said are deep state,

00:23:10.780 you know, saboteurs told me that they had high hopes for her that, you know, she had,

00:23:16.180 she was more qualified than some of these other people like, you know, Tulsi Gabbard and Bobby

00:23:20.820 Kennedy Jr. for the job that she got. But she's done this. She's spoken out of school the way

00:23:26.100 I've never heard an AG speak on other cases. You know, there was this case,

00:23:29.780 we're going to, we're going to throw the book at that person. We're not going to plea bargain it.

00:23:33.380 We're going to, you know, give them 30 years before the, before the indictment. And she just 1.00

00:23:38.180 has behaved in ways on other cases that makes me wonder if it, she's the SAT question that doesn't

00:23:44.900 add up here. I mean, just look at the influencer thing, you guys.

00:23:52.100 What, what kind of an attorney general, just take it, take a step back. What kind of an attorney

00:23:56.620 general would pretend she's giving new information to some of the president's most loyal advocates 1.00

00:24:05.980 in the press, you know, buying ink by the barrel. What? So either Pam Bonney knew she was about to

00:24:13.240 embarrass some of his most loyal surrogates out there and did that willingly, or she didn't

00:24:19.740 take the time to make sure what was in those binders. She was too lazy to actually figure out

00:24:28.200 none of this is new. And, and yet she called a meeting with the influencers that included cash

00:24:35.600 Patel, the head of the FBI and the sitting vice president. So she's either lazy and incompetent, 1.00

00:24:41.540 or she willingly humiliated some of the president's most loyal supporters. Neither one of those is 0.98

00:24:48.260 good. And that's why I'm sorry, but I'm going to predict her days are numbered as a member of the

00:24:52.060 Trump administration. Am I right or wrong? What do you guys think? Andrew, you got the high eyebrows.

00:24:58.460 Well, you know, the half-life of a Trump appointee is, is always difficult to predict. So I don't,

00:25:06.400 I don't think I'd predict one way or the other on that. Um, I think overall, uh, I think he likes

00:25:11.860 her. I think she's, um, in, you know, despite this latest, uh, hiccup, I think that he, he thinks

00:25:17.880 that she represents him well. And, um, I, I think she sticks around, but I don't know. It's, you know,

00:25:24.820 depends on. I'm not so sure. If you look at conservative Twitter, she's right in the crosshairs.

00:25:30.940 I mean, a lot of people are angry with her and not just because of that influencer stunt,

00:25:35.280 but because she's on camera. Yeah. But I'm not sure that Trump, uh, cares that much about

00:25:42.340 influential about Twitter or anything else. Tom Bevan does. I think, I think Trump thinks that he

00:25:48.600 just got fired. He's declaring what, what America first means. And he, you know, he's the art of all

00:25:54.040 things. I will say this just for not for nothing, but I think her stock has gone way down and you

00:26:00.520 know what, can I tell you? I think Kristi Noem stock has gone up. Kristi Noem dialed

00:26:05.220 back the over the top hair and makeup and photo opportunity situation that was going on.

00:26:11.160 We give you credit for that. I know she was listening to your show.

00:26:13.660 Yeah. You, you did that. I accept. Um, but I think she's done a much better job. She's been

00:26:20.240 totally appropriate on this Texas flooding situation. She's striking exactly the right

00:26:26.520 tone. She's got like very nice empathy. You know, she's a mom, she's a grandmom. She's coming

00:26:32.080 into it in a, in a very good way. And I think a lot of those photo ops, president Trump wanted

00:26:37.880 her to do. He wanted her to be doing them. It was the glam that was over the top, but she's

00:26:42.360 dialed it back. I think her stock is rising. And I think Pam Bondi's is definitely on the

00:26:46.080 wane. Go ahead, Tom.

00:26:48.640 I, I think I agree with you on that. And, you know, with regard to, to ice, uh, you know,

00:26:55.200 Tom Homan's the one who's been doing, I've, he's been everywhere and, and he's been taking

00:26:59.700 all comers in terms of media interviews and he sort of became the face of, of ice and

00:27:03.840 she kind of receded, I think, and started doing a little bit less. Um, but I agree with you

00:27:08.840 about Pam Bondi. I mean, the, the influencer thing is really interesting because, but again,

00:27:14.020 that, that happened so long ago. I mean, if she, uh, you know, if, if her stock went down

00:27:19.820 after that, no, it wasn't that it, that that's where it started, but it's been a steady drum

00:27:24.880 beat now, you know, and now the culmination of like, I think the administration very much

00:27:29.620 wants to move on from that news drop to Axios on Sunday night, but, but the, but the fact

00:27:35.040 that you would, I don't think, I don't see that happening.

00:27:37.860 But to your point, what's interesting about this, she called this big meeting. It was at

00:27:41.700 the white house, this big productions, big show. And, you know, the influencers come out

00:27:45.900 and I remember I was following it online at the time. Everybody was, cause we were like,

00:27:49.260 oh my gosh, we're going to get all these details. And then they're like, well, uh, okay,

00:27:53.360 this is, you know, we, we already know this. We already, they were sort of going through it in

00:27:57.020 real time and, and they were all kind of disappointed. And so it was this huge production

00:28:03.460 that she, she orchestrated, but, but also the, the white house did, I mean, they played along

00:28:09.500 with it. I mean, they hosted the meeting. But then, but then privately, remember Tom,

00:28:12.460 they started distancing themselves from her after that. You heard these reports in a couple of

00:28:16.480 media outlets that the white house staff was like, oh my God, what is she doing? We didn't 0.94

00:28:20.220 sanction this. We didn't think it was okay to bring in the vice president.

00:28:23.220 And others like what, this is all a Pam Bondi operation, right? Well, somebody's got to take

00:28:28.760 the fall for it. It was a debacle for sure. If they let her go though, if they push her out,

00:28:32.740 doesn't that encourage the conspiracy theorists? Don't they just, ah, see, she's the only one. 0.94

00:28:37.640 Well, they won't cite this. It'll, you know, it'll, they'll cite something else. They'll wait

00:28:41.200 until something else happens. You know, Trump, he's not dumb, but I just don't think, I don't think

00:28:45.360 Trump created this. I, I, I, my money, if I had to put my own personal money on it,

00:28:50.080 my money would be, they genuinely didn't find any evidence of murder. They genuinely didn't find

00:28:57.020 the so-called big list. And that Pam Bondi in an effort to like get on TV and get people excited, 1.00

00:29:04.900 got over her skis on her messaging. If I had to bet, that's what I'd bet. And for that,

00:29:10.700 she should be punished because the people who got hurt and embarrassed and lost credibility as a 0.95

00:29:16.500 result of all that are the president's media supporters. Like that's not a good group to

00:29:22.900 embarrass. And that that's a group to which Trump should be loyal. You know, they didn't deserve

00:29:28.940 that. She did it. And the only way for her to fix it was for there to be a real drop of actual info

00:29:36.480 on Epstein that she then leaked to them to make up for what she had done. And what we're seeing now

00:29:42.540 as a result of the Sunday night drop to Axios is there isn't one. She doesn't have it. Many people

00:29:50.980 believe she does have it. Now she's just been browbeaten into not releasing it either way. It's a fail

00:29:55.780 on her part. So, uh, her stocks down and would not be buying Bondi bonds today. Um, okay, let's keep

00:30:03.860 going out in California. Uh, we have got ice and Tom Holman's team, uh, trying to clean up MacArthur

00:30:11.960 park. Isn't this your, this is your home state cannon. And, um, your lovely mayor, Karen Bass

00:30:18.780 goes out there not to say thank you. It's riddled with MS 13. Literally no children ever play here

00:30:25.520 because they could get shot. It's become a place where illegal immigrants go to get false IDs and try 1.00

00:30:31.040 not to get killed by MS 13. She calls up the head of CPB out there and says, get out. Don't come here.

00:30:38.620 We don't want you in response to which that guy says, um, I don't work for you and I'm sorry,

00:30:45.300 but you're going to be very disappointed because you, but you better get used to me. My face is my

00:30:50.180 team and I are going to be here until this park is rid of the scourge that is known as MS 13.

00:30:56.980 And on whose side are you, Mr. Cannon? Well, I want to clarify, I'm from San Francisco. So the,

00:31:03.360 the mayor, Gavin Newsom was my mayor and we can get to it later, but, um, Karen Bass was,

00:31:11.200 you know, she's in this spirited competition with Brandon Johnson, who, who can be the most

00:31:16.380 ineffective mayor. It's, it's impressive really in its way. Dark horse coming up the third position

00:31:23.200 in the lane possible Zoran Mondami. He's running the big apple. Um, you know, she, she was a member

00:31:30.620 of the house for a long time and kind of generally well liked, pleasant person, not considered a

00:31:36.820 heavyweight. Um, and when she ran for mayor, I, I remember being surprised she had no executive 0.95

00:31:42.400 authority. I didn't think she'd win. She did win. Um, she, when, uh, we, we've been talking this week

00:31:48.580 about, you know, national weather service alerts when, when the alert came that, uh, Los Angeles

00:31:54.020 was a combustible, you know, combustible. Um, she went to Africa on a junket to an inauguration. I

00:31:59.980 think it was the president of Ghana. I don't know why. Um, and when she got back, you know, in the

00:32:04.780 piss, the Palisades were burning, her response was to fire the fire chief. So, you know, she has 0.91

00:32:11.140 distinguished herself by being, you know, feckless and ineffective. And I don't know why I, I, it's a

00:32:20.260 bit of a mystery to me. She had long experience in politics, rarely made a mistake. She was very,

00:32:25.580 very, she was very left. Um, but this, um, these missteps, I guess right now to end a democratic

00:32:33.220 politics, uh, if you're from a big city, Megan, um, we talked about this on our show. You've got to,

00:32:38.480 you know, you, you got to position yourself against, against ice, against the immigration 0.97

00:32:43.500 service. You've got to favor open borders, sanctuary cities, all these things, but you're

00:32:48.040 really saying that you don't want the law to be followed. And I think it's, it's, it seems to me

00:32:53.140 a dead end for the Democrats. And I don't know why they keep, you know, it's like, keep going down

00:32:58.320 that, that cul-de-sac. This two points, when we were in New York and our kids were going to these

00:33:04.420 New York city private schools, um, as expensive as they were as fancy as they were, they

00:33:08.420 supposedly were the, the, the playground right next to our all boys school was referred to by

00:33:15.600 the boys as dog poop playground. It's just riddled with dog poop, people not picking up after their

00:33:21.560 dogs. To me, this is like taking the side of the dog poop. This isn't like immigrants enjoy this park. 1.00

00:33:28.000 It's MS 13. They literally are killing your citizens and getting people addicted to drugs, 0.96

00:33:33.680 like innocent Americans. And you're on the side of the dog poop. Like somebody who came through and 0.99

00:33:38.540 said, I'm going to clean up all the dog poop so the children can play and they don't have to deal

00:33:41.520 with it anymore. And the mayor came out and said, the dog poop stays step away. This is, this is the

00:33:47.800 position she's taking. And it's not just her. You're right. Zora Momdami, who's likely to be our

00:33:51.980 next mayor in New York city is having this clash right now with the sitting mayor, Eric Adams,

00:33:56.260 where Momdami is saying, I will not work with ice. I will not funnel any illegals to ice's way. 0.99

00:34:03.480 Even if there is a federal detainer on them so that they can be deported. And Eric Adams is out

00:34:09.220 there. Eric Adams, I'm for the corrupt one. I really hope Eric Adams wins reelection. I don't 0.99

00:34:13.920 care if he's corrupt. It's like, so he took a couple of gold bars from Egypt or something like

00:34:17.960 this is the least of our problems. And like you got the sex pest, you got the corrupt guy and you 0.99

00:34:26.320 got the communist, you guys work with me. So Momdami is saying no ice. And Eric Adams was on 1.00

00:34:33.480 camera saying, you know what? You got to work with these federal agencies. This is the same as saying

00:34:38.680 like, we're not going to pay our taxes. We're not going to deal with the iron. Like we have to,

00:34:42.360 we have no choice, but this nutcase, Karen Bass, she, okay, this is, um, she goes out there after 1.00

00:34:48.480 45 minutes after they got there, she showed up and she called up the border patrol chief, the chief,

00:34:53.340 the guy I mentioned, his name is Gregory Bovino and told him they needed to leave. Here she is.

00:34:59.140 Um, this is, I think, yeah, she's at the LA raid. Here's, she is sought 20.

00:35:04.620 They need to leave and they need to leave right now.

00:35:08.460 They need to leave because this is unacceptable.

00:35:11.400 Who did you speak with?

00:35:12.360 She's in favor of the dog poop. And then Bill Malugian of Fox tweeted. I just spoke to border

00:35:21.680 patrol chief Gregory Bovino, who was the official on the phone with Karen Bass at McCarthy Park today.

00:35:26.880 I asked him for his message to her as she demands raids end quote. I don't work for Karen Bass better

00:35:32.080 get used to us now because this is going to be normal very soon. We will go anywhere anytime we

00:35:37.780 want in Los Angeles. Meantime, the protesters, the activists are,

00:35:41.960 um, getting lawyers ready. They want to send lawyers to the scene. They're slashing tires of

00:35:47.820 some of the federal vehicles there. They're throwing objects at the federal vehicles. They're

00:35:51.380 screaming, get the F out, get the F out. And then of course, because this is what leftists do,

00:35:56.660 they dropped in the tranny to go yell at the ICE agents. Really? It is. It's, it's, it's another 0.99

00:36:05.820 movie. After we're done with missing minute at midnight, we've got tranny in MacArthur Park. 0.96

00:36:11.520 Here it is. 0.99

00:36:13.380 What are you going to do with that hot shit, guys? What are you going to do? 1.00

00:36:19.780 For the listening audience, it was like a goth, trans, trans, I don't know. I'm not sure what

00:36:25.240 that was. It was a man pretending to be a woman and not very convincingly. Andrew, you enjoyed that

00:36:29.400 one. Come on. Yeah. Well, um, you know, Carl said, we talked about this on our show. I think that

00:36:36.160 the theory of the case for the Democrats right now on this, the only explanation that makes sense

00:36:40.760 for their position, because this is really, this is what Trump ran on. This is what Trump won on.

00:36:45.620 This is one of those sort of 70, 30, 80, 20 issues. Um, but their theory is that the Trump

00:36:52.800 administration will go too far and there will be a reaction against ICE, against Tom Homan,

00:36:59.680 um, and that they will sort of catch that wave. That's the only sort of political explanation

00:37:05.760 for it all. I'm not, I'm not saying they're right, but I think that if you're looking for an

00:37:10.800 explanation of how the Democrats, especially the progressive Democrats, especially progressive

00:37:15.760 Democratic mayors are taking this position, which seems so out of touch with all American voters,

00:37:22.700 uh, that seems to be, uh, at least a plausible explanation, whether they, you know, whether they're

00:37:29.600 right or not, I don't know, but, um, that, that seems to be what they're betting. And if you take,

00:37:34.960 if you, if you believe that the idea of trying to provoke an overreaction on the part of ICE

00:37:40.900 is part of the strategy. So these protests are designed to make ICE overreact. And to the extent

00:37:48.840 that they don't, we see pictures like that, which are like, oh, they look ridiculous and it is 0.98

00:37:54.880 ridiculous. But at some point, someplace, they're going to get that photo op of an ICE agent or, uh, 0.88

00:38:01.980 someone who apparently will look like they're going too far, whether it's, you know, with a

00:38:06.860 bullet really happens or not. And, and they'll be, yeah, with the bullets manufactured by Reuters.

00:38:11.680 Right. And they will be, they will have their, their opportunity. And I mean, I, I don't know what,

00:38:17.420 what you think, Megan, but it seems to me that that at least is a, is a, is a sort of a political

00:38:22.500 science case you could make that that's what they're doing. And that's why they're doing it.

00:38:26.720 I just feel like on this issue of all issues, you know, Tom, we, you guys are the polling guys,

00:38:31.040 but not a day goes by where you don't see another poll. And it's, it's across polling organizations

00:38:37.560 that shows the American public wants all illegals deported. It's not the CNN may tell you, oh no,

00:38:47.000 it's just the criminals. That's not true. The polling shows a majority of the American people

00:38:51.480 want all of them gone. The American people are to the right of president Trump now on this issue

00:38:58.280 because president Trump has started to say, well, the ones on the farms can stay and maybe in the

00:39:02.820 hospitality industry, which of course is an industry he knows very well. And you, all the polls keep

00:39:06.900 saying, no, all, everyone, Tom. So I'm not sure this is the, the hill to die on for the Karen

00:39:12.880 Bass's and Gavin Newsom's of the world. I agree with you. Um, but at the same time, uh, I think,

00:39:20.460 you know, Andy makes a good point, which is, excuse me, you, these Democrats, they have to be

00:39:26.220 all in, uh, particularly these mayors of these big cities against Trump, against ISIS. The other

00:39:33.020 story out of California this morning, which goes along with this is that the state of California

00:39:37.260 refused the Trump administration demand, uh, on transgender, basically boys and girls sports.

00:39:43.180 And they said, no, we're not gonna, we're not gonna sign that. And what's interesting, you think,

00:39:46.820 okay, well, where does this go? Where does this end when you have cities and States openly defying

00:39:51.680 federal law and, and executive orders from the federal government? Um, what happens next? Uh,

00:39:59.500 and we, we, you know, Pam Bondi, who we just talked about a lot, this is a way for her to sort

00:40:04.560 of get her stock going back up. I mean, she will be involved. The attorney general will be involved

00:40:08.580 in bringing cases against these municipalities in these States because they're just outright

00:40:13.300 defying the, the administration. And it's insurrection. It's a little insurrection.

00:40:18.560 That's exactly right. She they're doing California. The thing that Trump kept getting accused of doing

00:40:24.460 disregarding federal court orders, but actually never did actually never did.

00:40:29.360 And what, one more point was, uh, another story. That's a part of this thread to Andy's point,

00:40:36.040 which is the story that the Democrats were advised that they need to be part of the resistance and be 0.82

00:40:40.840 willing to get shot, quote unquote, get shot. Um, I mean, they're sort of amping up this idea that

00:40:46.640 they have to resist and they have to fight and they have to do it basically to the death almost,

00:40:51.500 um, and put their, their lives on the line to resist the Trump administration. This is a,

00:40:56.620 it's almost like a mental illness, the way that folks on the left are, are see this administration.

00:41:02.540 And they've just been, it's been nonstop for 10 years. This is, this is Hitler. This is now the 0.94

00:41:07.140 Gestapo. This is, you know, uh, the authoritarianism democracy's over. It's been portrayed as an

00:41:13.940 existential threat. And that's why they're, they're reacting to it as if it's that.

00:41:18.040 Mm-hmm. The, except the, the problem with like the get shot plan, in addition to you could get

00:41:22.420 shot is, um, you'd have to do the full Trump, you know, you'd have to get shot and then you'd

00:41:27.320 have to stand up and you'd have to say, fight, fight, fight, and show total courage in the moment.

00:41:31.740 But you couldn't writhe around in pain, screaming out, you know, in nine times out of 10, let's

00:41:37.440 face it. Mostly Democrats are going to do that. They're not, they're not going to stand up and

00:41:40.320 say, fight, fight. So like, they got to think this through. I don't think it's a very good plan.

00:41:43.860 I will say this, Gavin Newsom, he's an interesting person to talk about today, as you guys know,

00:41:48.740 because he's on the wrong side of these LA raids. Here's here. He is, um, on the immigration

00:41:56.080 raid on, um, MacArthur Park, SOP 21. Watch this. What a disgrace what's happening in MacArthur

00:42:03.260 Park. What theater on the six month anniversary, after all of these fires, that's the message

00:42:11.760 from the polluted heart of the president of the United States, the polluted heart of Stephen

00:42:16.880 Miller. Those national guard men and women that were out there protecting people are now

00:42:24.080 being used as political pawns. Protecting people, political pawns. So he is saying that wrong side.

00:42:32.000 He notwithstanding telling Charlie Carr, the clerk, what's wrong with me, Charlie Kirk, how, um,

00:42:38.440 you know, it's just a question of fairness, boys and girls sports. It's a question of fairness as a,

00:42:42.340 as a dad of a daughter, you know, he's, I understand he's now, as you point out, telling

00:42:47.300 the federal government to pound sand, he won't be in compliance with title nine. Well, he will be

00:42:52.060 because he's going to get sued by Harmeet Dillon at the DOJ and it will not be up to Gavin Newsom.

00:42:58.320 There's this thing called the supremacy clause. And when federal law and state law conflict,

00:43:02.700 the feds win. Sorry. You're about to learn that the hard way, Gavin. But at the same time,

00:43:08.440 and you tell me not unrelated, he's traveling as every California governor does or any governor

00:43:14.180 really in this union to South Carolina, to, to tour eight different counties and make speeches

00:43:20.300 there because that's really what he mentions those wildfires. You know, the California governor

00:43:25.320 should be really focused on rebuilding LA. Nothing's been rebuilt. Absolutely nothing. All

00:43:30.920 the red tape that he said he'd get rid of is still there. No one's rebuilding. And he's going

00:43:35.500 to South Carolina guys because well, why? I mean, I even, even for, uh, would be presidential

00:43:42.560 Canada. Isn't 2025 a little early in the cycle. Megan, you could win a bar bet. Um, when Joe Biden

00:43:51.500 pronounced, um, George W. Bush's, um, presidency of failure. And when he started campaigning,

00:43:57.620 remember not South Carolina, then New Hampshire. Um, it was St. Patrick's day of 2001. So George W.

00:44:06.620 Bush had been president for like eight weeks. So actually Gavin has waited a decent interval compared

00:44:12.340 to some. Wow. Well, yeah, because the, uh, the Democrats decided that New Hampshire was too

00:44:19.860 white to go first. And so they had to think it's too cold up there. I think Carolina campaign in a

00:44:25.060 more fun state. Iowa can't count votes. Iowa can't count votes. Right. And also too white. Iowa too 0.99

00:44:30.300 white. New Hampshire too white. South Carolina had to be South Carolina or maybe Georgia, but they 1.00

00:44:34.380 chose South Carolina. So he's going there. I don't, I have to tell you, I don't think Gavin Newsom is the

00:44:39.840 great white hope of the democratic party. I really don't. I don't, I don't see it happening. 0.92

00:44:44.860 Am I, am I wrong? I realize he's got the widow's peak. That's in his favor. He's got the gravelly

00:44:50.200 voice. United States. Well, if you think so, not. Oh yeah. Well, Megan, that's my sway. That's my

00:44:56.720 story. And I'm stuck with it because they've been, these two guys have been beating the crap out of me

00:45:01.760 for months. You think he does hand-to-hand combat with Rahm Emanuel and wins? Well, you know what?

00:45:07.620 We think Rahm, we actually are pretty bullish on Rahm too. Yes. I'm bullish on Rahm. Yeah.

00:45:14.200 Rahm's, I don't know. I mean, Tom knows, Tom's Chicago. So he, he knows, he pays attention to

00:45:20.740 Rahm's faults. Yes. How about you? Like Bashir out of Kentucky. He's, he's making noise now about like,

00:45:28.160 he might use it. Like, I don't think Bashir, I thought Bashir could do it. Cause he's a, he's a blue 1.00

00:45:33.480 governor in a red state, Kentucky. But the more I listen to him, the more I'm like, he can't do it.

00:45:38.080 He seems pathetic and weak. I'm sorry. But like what, the reason I like Rahm Emanuel as the 1.00

00:45:43.820 democratic nominee, you know, I'm, I'm not going to vote for Rahm Emanuel, but my point is like

00:45:47.300 why I would put money on him at this point is he's strong. He's strong. Gavin Newsom's not strong.

00:45:53.880 He's French laundry. He's too pretty. He's too needy of like the good opinion of people like Charlie,

00:46:00.940 who I love, but like as a Democrat, you shouldn't be looking for approval from Steve Bannon and

00:46:04.580 Charlie Kerr. He's just too, he's a little too effete, but Rahm Emanuel, you know, Rahm dead fish

00:46:09.700 Emanuel as Hannity used to call him. I think that could work for him in an era where we are starting

00:46:15.560 to respect strength again. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Rahm was a ballet dancer. Gavin Newsom

00:46:21.380 played first base at Santa Clara. I'm going to, I'm going to push back on your feet thing a little

00:46:26.000 bit. He is. Why is he dining at French laundry to begin with? That's, that's a feat. He has a

00:46:32.040 winery up there. It makes sense. Also a feat. Rahm's got, you know, he cut off his finger. So

00:46:40.200 he does definitely has it. Look, I just don't know, Megan, you know, we look at, uh, the New York

00:46:48.120 Times were in a story yesterday about Democrats and immigration and, and what, how they sort of missed

00:46:52.660 the moment and whether they can find their way back. And they had a giant picture of the, it was

00:46:58.140 June, uh, 2019 debate, 10 Democrats on stage. And the question was, raise your hand. If you think

00:47:03.780 border crossing should be decriminalized and nine of the 10 raised their hand. And it was everybody 0.99

00:47:08.320 except for Michael Bennett, who people don't forgot, even ran for president, uh, the Senator from

00:47:13.000 Colorado, but it was Bernie and Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden and, you know, everybody. Um,

00:47:18.860 I just feel like the party is too far to the left in the primary. Rahm has baggage and he's going to

00:47:25.100 try and run as a centrist. Now, maybe the progressives will, you know, there'll be four

00:47:28.780 or five people. They split that vote and he squeaks through as, as the only sort of centrist alternative,

00:47:33.540 but I just don't know. Uh, you know, he, the baggage that he has is pretty severe. He covered up the

00:47:40.560 shooting of Laquan McDonald in Chicago, African-American teen. And we shot 16 times by,

00:47:44.920 by Chicago police. Uh, and folks have never forgiven him for that. And that will be brought

00:47:50.220 up immediately and forever during a campaign. And so I just don't know if he's going to be able

00:47:55.760 to get through. And then the other thing, let's be honest, Rahm Emanuel is a Jewish man 0.76

00:48:01.280 and the democratic party has become very antisemitic. It just has. I mean, I think they're genuinely

00:48:07.540 antisemitic. I really do, but they're definitely anti-Israel. That's for sure. You saw that poll that

00:48:12.480 came out earlier this week with Harry Enten, like marveling at the shift and support within the

00:48:16.920 party for Israel, how it used to be high double digits before, and now it's high double digits

00:48:21.900 the other way toward Palestine. Plus remember, this is why we all, I listen to you guys all the

00:48:26.320 time and you were, you couldn't believe that Josh Shapiro wasn't the pick for Kamala. And we all knew

00:48:32.220 it was because he's Jewish. He's not even like some huge Israel guy. He was, he's Jewish. So that's

00:48:37.520 something, sadly, that Rahm is going to have to contend with. Keep going. Yeah, no, I was just

00:48:43.720 going to say that, you know, one of the other characters is, you know, if it's, if it's not

00:48:49.740 going to be Rahm, if it's not going to be Gavin, who's it going to be? And you look at the people

00:48:53.160 who are potentially running and, you know, J.B. Pritzker decided he's going to run for re-election

00:48:56.640 in governor, for governor of Illinois, but that doesn't preclude him. If he wins in 2026

00:49:01.080 of running in 20, he'll have to turn right around and run. But we've seen that happen before.

00:49:05.200 He certainly thinks of himself as presidential material. He is too obese to be president. 0.93

00:49:11.840 There, I said. Oh, Megan. I think he's on a Zempic, Megan. I mean, 1.00

00:49:15.660 I think he's already starting to lose weight. I've seen no evidence of that. He's like two

00:49:22.120 Chris Christie's. He's too obese. And he's too in love with transing children. That, I mean, 0.96

00:49:28.460 that issue cost the Democrats the White House this, the last time around. There was a survey of 3,000

00:49:34.720 people. The number one issue for the swing state voters was the trans issue and that ad. And he

00:49:42.060 loves those, his whole family, the Pritzkers, they love transing the children, the children in 0.99

00:49:46.900 particular, and getting this into schools and getting into this health care. He'll just be

00:49:50.300 demolished. He'll be eaten alive. I feel for you out there in Chicago. God, you've got some 1.00

00:49:53.720 real leaders, some real gems out there, Tom Bevan. I can't believe you've lasted.

00:49:59.300 I got all these kids in school. I can't, I can't. It's like trying to escape the death star out here.

00:50:04.880 I can't do it. Here's the one upshot of it. I got to take a break. But the one upshot is

00:50:09.120 if your kids are with you and they're in a woke school, you can inoculate them, 0.98

00:50:13.220 you know, against the insanity so that then when they go off to college or left-wing corporations,

00:50:18.200 they know what they're being spun. So that's the one upside. All right, stand by. President Trump

00:50:23.040 just commented on Epstein. We have that right after this. Shopping, planning, cooking food really

00:51:29.300 Nelson of the New York Post, but apologies if we have that wrong, who brought up the Epstein release,

00:51:36.320 seemed to be directing it toward Pam Bondi. You will hear Trump interrupt her to try to entirely

00:51:44.020 change and set the narrative, and then she comes back up. Wow. Listen to the following.

00:51:49.660 Your memo and release yesterday in Jeffrey Epstein, it left some lingering mysteries.

00:51:54.800 One of the biggest ones is whether he ever worked for an American or foreign intelligence agency.

00:52:01.800 The former labor secretary, who was Miami U.S. Attorney, Alex Costa, he allegedly said that he did

00:52:09.580 work for an intelligence agency. So could you resolve whether or not he did? And also,

00:52:13.800 could you say why there was a minute missing from the jailhouse tape on the news?

00:52:17.640 Yeah, sure.

00:52:18.160 Could I just interrupt for a second?

00:52:21.260 Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy's been talked about for years.

00:52:26.420 You're asking, we have Texas, we have this, we have all of the things.

00:52:30.420 And are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable. Do you want to waste

00:52:39.000 the time? And do you feel like answering? I don't mind answering. I mean, I can't believe

00:52:43.140 you're asking a question on Epstein at a time like this, where we're having some of the greatest

00:52:47.740 success and also tragedy with what happened in Texas. It just seems like a desecration. But you go ahead.

00:52:56.620 Sure, sure. First, to back up on that, in February, I did an interview on Fox, and it's been getting a lot of

00:53:02.800 attention because I said, I was asked a question about the client list. And my response was, it's sitting on my

00:53:12.200 desk to be reviewed, meaning the file along with the JFK, MLK files as well. That's what I meant by that. Also, to the

00:53:23.060 10s of thousands of video, they turned out to be child porn downloaded by that disgusting Jeffrey 1.00

00:53:29.060 Epstein. Child porn is what they were, never going to be released, never going to see the light of day. 0.97

00:53:34.660 To him being an agent, I have no knowledge about that. We can get back to you on that.

00:53:39.780 And the minute missing from the video, we released the video showing definitively,

00:53:47.060 the video was not conclusive. But the evidence prior to it was showing he committed suicide.

00:53:56.020 And what was on that, there was a minute that was off the counter.

00:53:59.300 And what we learned from Bureau of Prisons was every year, every night, they redo that video. It's

00:54:05.620 old from like 1999. So every night, the video is reset. And every night should have the same minute

00:54:12.660 missing. So we're looking for that video to release that as well, showing that a minute is missing every

00:54:17.460 night. And that's it on Epstein. Good grief. That was no bueno, guys. That was no bueno. Okay.

00:54:27.860 President Trump had the same problem there that Caroline Levitt had yesterday. The dodge should 1.00

00:54:33.380 not be obvious. It should be subtle. It should be deftly worked in to a more substantive answer.

00:54:40.260 It shouldn't be, hold on. I want to answer that before you answer that, my underling.

00:54:45.780 Why are you interested in Jeffrey Epstein? That old story? That is not a thing. We should not talk

00:54:52.820 about that. Creep. That is unbelievable that you want to waste the time. Do you want to answer that?

00:54:59.540 And then she doesn't take the cue. Yeah, I'm fine answering. And Trump's like,

00:55:03.460 hello, I just told you the answer. And then what is she saying?

00:55:07.620 I meant the file. The question was unambiguous. List, client list. John Roberts couldn't have asked

00:55:14.460 it any more acutely. Client list. She didn't say the file. She said it in response is sitting on my

00:55:22.520 desk. Okay. But now she says, I meant the file. Then what we found was tens of thousands of pictures

00:55:29.220 of child pornography. As I said, my deduction was correct. And then she says, by that disgusting 0.99

00:55:35.620 Jeffrey Epstein, she does this in all of her interviews. She takes a little pivot. She goes

00:55:40.820 down a little tributary to try to waste time talking about how he's so disgusting. There was 0.88

00:55:47.760 one from July, I'm sorry, February 26th, where I think this is, I think we have it, SOT 12,

00:55:56.060 where she talks about how we have 200 cases, victims, maybe 250. Let's just play it because

00:56:03.640 I want to show you this is, she keeps doing this. She's using filler so that she doesn't have to stay 0.82

00:56:08.980 on substance. Trust me, as a lawyer, I've seen it a million times. Here it is in SOT 12. I think

00:56:12.400 it's in here. I haven't seen the final cut of this SOT.

00:56:14.100 You said last week that you have the Epstein files on your desk. When can we see them? And

00:56:20.320 what's taking so long to release them? I do. Jesse, there are well over, this will make you sick,

00:56:28.120 200 victims, 200. So we have well over, over 250 actually. So we have to make sure that their

00:56:36.780 identity is protected and their personal information. But other than that, I think

00:56:43.440 tomorrow, you know, the personal information of victims. Other than that, I think tomorrow,

00:56:48.260 Jesse, breaking news right now, you're going to see some Epstein information being released

00:56:53.260 by my office. What kind? Are we going to see who was on the flights? Are we going to see any

00:56:59.700 evidence from what he recorded? Because he had all of his homes wired with recording devices.

00:57:05.760 What you're going to see hopefully tomorrow is a lot of flight logs, a lot of names,

00:57:12.400 a lot, a lot of information, but, um, it's, it's pretty sick what that man did.

00:57:18.400 Okay. Well, along with his co-defendant. Absolutely. And he had help. That's for sure.

00:57:23.540 He sure did. Okay. That was the night before the influencer event. She was not saying we have no

00:57:30.280 names. She was already saying we have videos. So when she's saying more information is coming,

00:57:35.640 which she then doubled down again on in March, she'd already revealed that there were these,

00:57:40.280 you know, pornography things that weren't going to be released. They're not going to release anything

00:57:43.260 involving the actual victim's names, which of course we all know. Everybody knows that she's

00:57:48.620 teasing something else. And she does these side tributaries of he's disgusting. It's so gross. 0.96

00:57:54.880 What a pervert that's filler. There's a reason she's doing that. I'm telling you what it's telling 1.00

00:58:00.060 us is she's nervous. And the truth is not her friend for whatever reason. I don't know. I wish I

00:58:06.160 did. But what that tells me is the truth is not her friend. That's why she's using filler even to the

00:58:11.360 moment where this New York post in the cabinet meeting reporter asked her. And she's going on

00:58:15.880 about how once again, tens of thousands, that disgusting Jeffrey Epstein. Um, and then,

00:58:21.380 and it's not ever going to be released as if anybody who's criticizing them is like,

00:58:26.300 let me see the child pornography. Literally nobody's saying that. This is a straw man,

00:58:31.700 right? They're trying to be like inappropriate. No one's asking to see that stuff. We know we did.

00:58:36.940 We know we don't, we can't, we don't want to see any of that, but she's acting like that

00:58:41.280 issue when it's not, which is another tell. I have no information on him being an agent. What

00:58:45.740 that's been out there since we knew the name Jeffrey Epstein. I'll look into it now. You're

00:58:50.540 going to look into it. And then the minute before midnight guys, our film came up the minute before

00:58:57.300 midnight is actually a thing. She confessed to it and then actually said some nonsense about how the

00:59:03.520 video's not conclusive. What? I don't think that's the FBI stance. I think the FBI based on watching

00:59:11.040 Dan Bongino on Fox and friends a couple of weeks ago thinks it is conclusive. She says the video is

00:59:15.780 not conclusive, but evidence prior to it was, huh? What evidence? What? No one knows what the hell

00:59:23.340 you're talking about. And then she talks about how every night the Bureau of prisons like redoes the

00:59:29.180 videotape. So they lose the minute before midnight every night, which if that's verified by looking at

00:59:35.300 other tapes will only cause more questions because everybody's going to say, Oh, so they knew they

00:59:40.000 had one minute at midnight to get in and get out. And it could be explained by the fact that they,

00:59:46.120 like none of that clarified anything. Your thoughts. Well, I think it certainly makes that

00:59:52.940 minute all the more interesting because as you say, I mean, that didn't help at all. And I think

00:59:58.980 I understood exactly what she was saying was, which is that this is standard operating procedure that

01:00:03.800 there's a minute before midnight that isn't taped every night. And what we're going to do

01:00:07.400 is show you that that is consistent over other nights as if that sort of explains it. So,

01:00:13.320 so the, the accusation isn't that, Oh, someone eliminated a minute before midnight. It's almost

01:00:18.860 worse. It's like, Oh, they know that there's one minute that isn't taped every night. And so,

01:00:25.020 you know, I mean, this is catnip for conspiracy, right? I mean,

01:00:28.780 that was unbelievable from an hour ago. Now I think he was murdered.

01:00:35.900 You've changed your mind from an hour ago. Yes. Because now we know people who worked in the

01:00:41.400 prison would know about this weird thing that you're not taping for a minute. So they would

01:00:46.440 know that they, they were the only people who would know that. Can you kill a guy in a minute? 1.00

01:00:49.900 I guess we'll find out that we'll, they'll have the Trump administration will be all over the map 0.99

01:00:54.380 on that too. But this, this is, this is a mess, Megan. You're right. Just, just, I'm, I'm even less

01:01:01.280 of a conspiracy theorist than you are. I just assume that, that, you know, you conspiracy,

01:01:08.280 sophisticated conspiracies by evil actors and, you know, hundreds of people in on it. No,

01:01:13.220 incompetent people who then cover their ass. Yes. But why would she just say that? Why would she say 1.00

01:01:19.740 that that minute is not taped every night? What, what is it? She should have taken Trump's

01:01:25.800 lead, followed his lead. Do you even want to answer that? The proper answer, according to the

01:01:31.600 president would have been, no, this is, let's move on. But she had to, cause she's getting beaten up in 1.00

01:01:37.120 the press, Tom. And there's no question. She just made it worse. She did. But to me, the most

01:01:43.440 interesting thing was Trump. I mean, yes, of course we've been, everybody's been talking

01:01:49.840 about Epstein. It's never gone away. Elon Musk just mentioned his name connected with Epstein.

01:01:53.760 Like it was a big deal. Like a week ago they announced on Sunday night. There's no, there's

01:01:59.320 no case. Of course we're going to be talking about it. He's like, Oh, this is a desecration.

01:02:03.300 I'm like, what? Since when? Since when? It was so obvious. Trump didn't even sound persuasive,

01:02:09.660 Tom. You know, when Trump's genuinely annoyed that something comes up, you know, you know,

01:02:14.760 old big daddy's not afraid of being like F off, you nasty reporter. This was him. Like, 0.97

01:02:20.400 I am indignant that you would bring up Jeffrey Epstein when there are more important subjects.

01:02:26.620 Weird. Yeah, no, that was, that was weird.

01:02:29.240 He just didn't want her to talk about it, Megan. He just was trying to get her to be quiet. He just

01:02:35.160 didn't want her to answer the question. She was too thick to take the lead. I know. But you would

01:02:41.940 know that that's going to be question number one at this press conference. That's why we talked about

01:02:45.560 it at the top of your show. I mean, it's, it's a very big, important story. It was not a press

01:02:53.260 conference. It was a cabinet meeting. I mean, so I, you better be careful, Megan. He's going to make

01:02:57.240 you attorney general. Oh God. He doesn't want me. I'm starting to really miss Matt Gaetz. I have to

01:03:03.460 say, why did we lose him so quickly? Why did we roll over on that so fast? I don't know. Look,

01:03:08.400 I, I am rooting for the president. I am a supporter of the president, but this is not going well. And,

01:03:13.380 and they need a shift in strategy. And I really think what needs to happen is I volunteer to do it

01:03:20.240 because I am not conspiratorial, but I totally understand the Epstein case very well and why people

01:03:24.860 have questions about it. I'll sit down with all three of them. Give me Bondi, Patel and Bongino

01:03:29.860 for two hours. Nothing, no holds barred. I can ask anything. And then the audience can see whether

01:03:36.740 they're truth tellers. I'm honestly like this. You seriously, Megan, you could charge pay-per-view

01:03:41.160 for that. You'd make a fortune. That's right. And I care about them. I don't know Pam as well,

01:03:46.140 but though I know Pam, I don't dislike Pam. I really don't. We will go back years at Fox news. Dan is the

01:03:50.980 only one who I consider an actual personal friend. Um, but the audience knows that. And I hope is

01:03:56.020 coloring, you know, that in on assessing my own bias on this, but I have, I, whatever, I, this is why

01:04:03.160 you have to sort of keep some distance between yourself and the administration. Even when they're

01:04:07.880 your friends, you have to be able to report honestly on them and to be called to call out 0.96

01:04:11.800 bullshit when you think you smell it. And, uh, I think I smell it and I'm nowhere near dog poop 0.99

01:04:16.200 playground. So I, I think it's coming from Washington, DC. Uh, okay. Let's keep going.

01:04:21.760 What a day. This is so crazy. I can't, I can't quite believe this. Um, okay. Let's move on to

01:04:28.620 mom Donnie. Okay. This guy, everything's coming out about him now. And it does seem that in addition

01:04:38.080 to being a genuinely terrible person, Andrew Cuomo had the absolute worst research team in politics.

01:04:45.400 Why are we learning about all this stuff guys now after the guy already won the nomination,

01:04:52.740 Andrew? Well, uh, yeah, we talked about this on our show. Andrew Cuomo wrote, ran one of the

01:04:58.600 quintessentially worst campaigns, uh, you could possibly run. It was bad on every level, including,

01:05:04.840 as you point out the oppo research on, on, uh, who would end up, you know, winning the nomination

01:05:11.040 in this weird, uh, you know, uh, five way, uh, sort of, uh, you know, race that they ran up there

01:05:17.880 where you count the votes, um, uh, you know, proportionally and all that sort of stuff. So,

01:05:23.640 um, yeah, no, I think, but I, I think what's interesting about mom Donnie, um, is that he is

01:05:28.960 a old school socialism, socialist, and he's sort of bringing that idea of socialism back from this sort

01:05:36.300 of cultural socialism that we've seen in recent years that were sort of all based around sort of

01:05:41.660 interest groups and, and, uh, identity politics back to sort of, you know, the roots of socialism,

01:05:47.300 which are, you know, and he talked about, he's talked about controlling the means of production,

01:05:51.320 which is a phrase that, you know, you haven't heard that in America since the sixties, right? I mean,

01:05:56.440 that's, that's old school. That's, you know, that's what Bernie Sanders, uh, talked about before he

01:06:02.460 sort of, you know, became a, a, a, a cultural Marxist himself. And he tweeted from each according

01:06:07.100 from, from, uh, each, according to his ability to those, according to their means, that's the Karl

01:06:11.460 Marx quote. I don't have it quite right. According to their needs. Yes. So, so yeah, I mean this,

01:06:16.720 and to me, and this goes back to our previous discussion about who's going to end up with the

01:06:20.680 democratic nomination, all the energy in the democratic party, I think is on the left. I think this sort

01:06:26.380 of faint to the sort of, uh, right or the center is over. I think they're going full in on, uh,

01:06:33.380 democratic socialism, small D, you know, in parens, in quotes, democratic socialism.

01:06:39.040 And Mondami is the sort of, uh, vector of this for the, for the moment. Um, it's, and you know,

01:06:45.960 he's very popular among young people. People do not remember what socialism really is. They have

01:06:51.780 no conception of, you know, how it's failed every time it's been tried. Um, but for some reason it's

01:06:57.300 back and he's the guy. And, um, uh, you know, uh, like I say, I think, I think what's interesting

01:07:03.660 about him is this idea that he is going back to the roots of socialism and getting away from this

01:07:11.740 sort of, you know, sort of identity politics part of it. And it's really class-based.

01:07:15.180 Uh, he does both. He does both. Andy, he's, he's the whole package. He does all of the

01:07:20.960 virtue signaling and all the Islamic stuff and all the, and the old fashioned Marxist Leninism. I 0.91

01:07:27.180 mean, it's, it's, it's weird. And I, yeah, Andrew Cuomo, how much of this did he mention in the

01:07:32.260 campaign, Megan? You live up there. Not much, huh? None. No, you know, because you know what,

01:07:36.580 Carl, what I realized too late, I mean, I wasn't paying that low attention, but I think Andrew Cuomo

01:07:41.300 was really hamstrung by his many scandals. He's a shadow of his former self. He's scared. He wasn't

01:07:48.420 bold. He, he didn't take big risks. He didn't swing big. He just thought he'd like skulk along

01:07:54.060 as a Cuomo. He's nothing like his father. He keeps from thinking we're going to think he's Mario Cuomo,

01:08:00.240 who was legitimately very popular in New York where I live my whole life. And, um, it didn't work.

01:08:05.940 People knew he's a weird perverted guy who tried to blame his weird sex pest stuff. I'm being an 0.98

01:08:11.660 Italian. What the F and, and killed a bunch of senior citizens in New York state with his 1.00

01:08:20.100 order, which he was told was going to kill them. That COVID positive patients had to be allowed back 0.99

01:08:24.840 into the nursing homes and weren't allowed to be tested for it. And wrote his memoir on the

01:08:30.020 taxpayer's dime. He got 5 million for it using staffers. I was paying for as a New York state

01:08:34.900 taxpayer, overreached mightily on COVID. We had a dinner party at our house during COVID. I was

01:08:40.220 living in Manhattan where I got those little signs of Andrew Cuomo's head, like looking up and I put

01:08:46.160 him in all the windows because he was literally like staring you down. He was like chastising it.

01:08:51.540 People hate Andrew Cuomo. And I think he was afraid. He just thought he could skulk in with the Cuomo name

01:08:57.180 and he took no big swings. And only now are we learning the stuff.

01:09:02.500 We've been talking on our show. Is there any chance Eric Adams benefits from this and that

01:09:07.440 New Yorkers wake up and say, okay, I don't really want a hardcore Marxist who wasn't born in this

01:09:13.420 country, but hates this country, even though this country has been so good to him and his family.

01:09:17.500 This guy's too much for me. Maybe Eric Adams is not as bad as I thought he was. Maybe I can live

01:09:22.920 another four years with Eric Adams. What's the vibe up there? The polls don't show it yet,

01:09:27.820 but what do you sense? I mean, I think he's going to win. I think Momdami is going to win.

01:09:33.260 There's no one, no one, not Eric Adams, not Cuomo, not Curtis Lewa. You can't get anybody else in the

01:09:39.160 ballot who's got his energy and his weird like snake oil salesman vibe of like, whatever you want,

01:09:46.180 you can have it. I'll get it for you. I'm going to lower all the rents. I'm going to ruin all the

01:09:50.140 billionaires, but I'm also going to tax the billionaires into oblivion to pay for all my

01:09:54.320 wonderful things like free buses. And I'm going to, we're going to become socialist and we are

01:09:59.320 going to take from the people with means and give to people according to their needs. It's going to

01:10:02.740 be our new utopia. We're going to have public housing right in the middle of central park.

01:10:06.600 And that's definitely not going to affect quality of life at all for the millionaires and others who

01:10:12.460 live on the park and enjoy it. Don't worry. Um, we're not going to cooperate with ice. So we're

01:10:17.100 going to increase the, uh, magnet effect that this city has on illegals who want to come here. 0.69

01:10:23.300 We're going to put them up in the hotels again on those billionaires dollars who are going to leave

01:10:26.380 New York because they won't be taxed this way that he's a snake oil salesman, but he's got all the

01:10:31.360 charm of one too. And I think New Yorkers who aren't paying that much attention and young people

01:10:36.280 who aren't doing that well, and they don't need it. It's never easy for young people in big cities

01:10:40.940 ask any young person in Chicago, in New York, in Boston, in San Fran, in LA, they're exorbitantly

01:10:48.020 expensive. We all went through it. This is not the first generation to experience that. You know,

01:10:52.740 we did, we got roommates, we lived cheaply, or we lived right on the outer part of the city.

01:10:58.820 We don't run around complaining that the country needs to be socialist or communist and start voting

01:11:04.340 in left-wing loons like this guy, but I think he's going to win. And here's one other thing for you.

01:11:09.700 David Patterson, the former governor of New York puts out this long paper statement. Like what we

01:11:15.020 really need is for the party to come together. Now he's Democrat and like select the right leader

01:11:20.220 before the vote. And I have to hand it to crystal ball, who I love, but I don't agree with her

01:11:24.980 politics and she doesn't agree with mine, which is fine. I still like her. And she tweeted out,

01:11:28.300 this is bonkers. This guy says New York city Democrats need to come together and decide

01:11:32.480 to support whichever candidate has the most support among them. That's a quote. They did this.

01:11:37.440 It was called the democratic primary and this guy Zoran Mamdani won it. And it wasn't even

01:11:42.880 particularly close. Their goose is cooked, Tom Bevin. I think I agree with you. And you know,

01:11:49.980 what's interesting is watching. So the story that came over the weekend that, that Mamdani had

01:11:54.160 checked the box African-American on his application to Columbia. The race box. Be sure you say that 1.00

01:12:00.980 because it wasn't what's your national origin. It was what is your race? Go ahead and explain it.

01:12:05.200 Cause we haven't talked about it with our audience yet. Yeah. Well, no. So, so, but the leak went to

01:12:10.020 the New York times. So you can, that just tells you there are forces inside the democratic party,

01:12:16.700 the establishment, there's folks on wall street. They're all freaking out right now because

01:12:20.000 they've basically sort of enabled this monster and now they can't stop him. I think he's going to win

01:12:28.100 cause I don't think there's going to be enough support, but they are going to try and take him down.

01:12:31.940 And as you said, like the, the oppo stuff that Cuomo should have been able to, to find, uh, is all

01:12:39.280 coming out and it's going to be a steady drumbeat of that all the way through the election. But I

01:12:44.080 don't, I don't know that it's going to be enough to slow him down. He is a charismatic guy. He's

01:12:48.120 giving away free goodies to everybody says he's going to, you know, it's the richest fault, uh, for,

01:12:52.920 for, you know, the plight of, uh, young people and folks in the city that can't afford it. And so

01:12:58.580 it's the sort of standard playbook and it is, it's, I mean, it's, it's not just socialism,

01:13:03.340 it's communism. I mean, it's seizing the means of production. It is true communism and seizing

01:13:08.360 the means of production. He said he wants to do that. I know, I know. So, I mean, he's,

01:13:12.960 he's literally a textbook communist. He says he's a socialist. He's actually a communist.

01:13:17.480 And, you know, Sean McGuire, who's a venture capitalist out of, uh, in Silicon Valley. I don't

01:13:21.960 know if you heard about this. So he tweeted out over the weekend, he actually said, look,

01:13:26.160 I believe he's an Islamist. And, and of course he caught all sorts of hell for that. 1.00

01:13:31.320 A bunch of people have signed a letter trying to get him fired. Um, he went online and put in,

01:13:36.420 published a 28 minute video trying to explain in rational terms, why he thinks that mom,

01:13:41.060 Donnie is not just a socialist. He's a communist, but also an Islamist. And, um, there was a story 0.96

01:13:47.220 in the New York post the other day, editorial talking about, it's not just him. It's the people

01:13:52.260 that he's going to bring in to run the city. Jamal Bowman, remember him, Mr. Fire Escape,

01:13:57.500 uh, fire, you know, fire alarm at Loon might, might actually be the head of schools. And this

01:14:04.020 council woman from Queens, who's like anti-police might actually be in charge of, of, you know, 0.99

01:14:10.040 the security and the police department. It means it's, it's going to be a collection of

01:14:13.840 really left-wing radicals who are going to be implementing his policies all across that city.

01:14:19.600 And that's why, you know, a lot of people are worried. Even some Democrats are worried that

01:14:22.960 if he gets elected, he's going to destroy the city. Thank God we left. Thank God. Thank God.

01:14:27.520 Lord. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We left, we left after our, you know, the schools went

01:14:32.960 totally crazy and it became too much for us, but on the heels, like as we were looking,

01:14:37.940 where, where can we move where we can still be in the Northeast and like with all of our people,

01:14:41.720 um, they announced that they were defunding the cops by a billion dollars. And I really thought

01:14:45.680 it was a sign from God. It was God just saying, just in case you were worried, you weren't making the

01:14:48.920 right decision. This guy tries to claim now he's not for defunding the police. It's all,

01:14:53.600 he tweeted it, defund the police. And when somebody said, when we say defund the police,

01:14:58.560 we don't really mean defund the police. We mean reallocate money to like more social services who

01:15:02.900 can intervene earlier. And he responded, no, we mean defund the police. Like, okay. He,

01:15:09.340 and the, the race thing is too delicious to not spend another minute on. I love this story so much.

01:15:15.260 He, so somebody hacked the Columbia university applications department, computer files,

01:15:22.860 and they discovered his application back when he was a high school senior in 2009.

01:15:30.020 He, he was born in Uganda. He's Indian. All right. He, in the same way Elon Musk was born in Africa,

01:15:38.740 but is white. Zoran Mamdani was born in Africa, but is Indian. Okay. That's what's real. 0.94

01:15:48.340 If a white person is born in Africa, it does not make them African American or black when it comes to

01:15:55.420 race. They, you want it at national origin. Sure. You could say Africa, uh, like Elon can like

01:16:01.440 Charlize Theron can say, you cannot say your race is black or African American. Everyone knows what that 0.91

01:16:07.960 means. We're talking about skin color and a certain background that might entitle you to an extra 0.99

01:16:15.020 feather in your cap on the application process. Because before the Supreme court ruling there,

01:16:20.480 you used to be allowed to account for that in a way that would give somebody a leg up.

01:16:24.200 He checked the box when asked to identify his race. And he checked the box that read that read

01:16:30.340 black or African American, and also check the box that read Asian, which just shows he is 0.98

01:16:37.340 el stupido because only one of those boxes gets you into college. The other one gets you not into 0.98

01:16:43.620 college. They don't like Asians. That's, this is the racism of the left. You can be, they like Brown, 0.89

01:16:50.680 but not if you're not Brown enough Asian, not like Indian. No, that's it's a, no, that won't really

01:16:56.840 help you. God forbid Asian. That's, that's a no altogether. So he didn't have it quite figured 1.00

01:17:01.960 out. And his dad was a professor there. And then he also told them that thinking it would help them.

01:17:07.340 But obviously that also telegraphed that he was the daughter of a college, the son of a college

01:17:12.320 professor and that they lived in a nice little Tony area. And his mother was well-educated as well. 0.86

01:17:17.400 And it was very clear, but he comes out to say this, um, in an interview with the times,

01:17:23.000 he said he did not consider himself black or African-American, but rather an American who

01:17:27.760 was born in Africa. By the way, he wasn't an American. Even when he checked that, um, his

01:17:32.240 answers on the college application work, well, an attempt to represent his complex background,

01:17:37.360 given the limited choices before him, not to gain an upper hand in the admission process,

01:17:43.840 a lie, a lie. This is what I have to say to that. Sure. Jan

01:17:49.240 100% he was checking it to get in and he still didn't get in. And he didn't get in and his dad's

01:17:58.340 a professor there. I mean, yes. And now, now you've got, um, all these leftists who, if,

01:18:07.240 if Megan Kelly ever checked the box, even if I were born in Uganda of being black or African-American 0.50

01:18:14.000 would have my head on a platter, they're running. He's no more black than I am just because he's 0.75

01:18:20.600 Asian are running to defend him and attack the New York times as having done something wrong. 0.65

01:18:28.940 Tom, they're, they're mad at the times. Yes. And, and saying basically, well, I think it was Nicole

01:18:35.820 Hannah-Jones, the author of the 1619 project tweeted something that said, you know, well,

01:18:40.660 we know who's culturally black and who isn't, and there's a difference and we should all.

01:18:45.500 Tom is you're out. You're out. Yeah. Yeah. So look, this is going to be fascinating to watch this

01:18:51.120 whole thing play out because there will be other instances and more coming down the line where

01:18:55.840 you'll have, I think, uh, folks that'll be, you know, going out of their way, bending over backwards

01:19:01.200 to defend this guy. Um, when, you know, he's, he's, he's a very privileged guy. I mean, as you

01:19:08.960 mentioned, dad's a professor, mom's like a famous, what movie producer, director or producer. Yeah.

01:19:14.800 Movie director. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, grew up in a very Tony neighborhood. I mean, this guy is,

01:19:18.600 he he's, he's about as privileged as you could possibly be. And he is very charismatic, but he's

01:19:24.880 selling this, this sort of bill of goods to the people of New York that, that he's for the, you know,

01:19:29.080 the downtrodden and, and he's going to make this, you know, create this socialist utopia. It's going

01:19:32.980 to be amazing to watch. It's like the, the number of people coming out to defend him, like, okay.

01:19:39.820 Um, here's Mehdi Hassan. He writes, everyone should be making noise about this huge media scandal

01:19:46.360 in the New York times while Trump makes money off of frivolous lawsuits against CBS, ABC, et cetera.

01:19:51.840 The times is getting away with an anti mom, Domi, mom, Donnie hit job fed to them by a far right

01:19:59.340 race science guy who they kept anonymous. Who cares? Andrew, where they got the story.

01:20:05.880 No one, including mom, Donnie is claiming it's untrue. Yeah, no, it's there. There's no,

01:20:12.360 there's been no pushback on the, on the actual facts of the case. Um, but you know, the, first of

01:20:19.480 all, the vanguard of the proletariat is always comes from the elite. I mean, we know that from

01:20:24.480 Lenin, we know that. So he, he, he, he's in a very solid tradition of the leftist. It's never

01:20:31.120 a truly a man of the people that comes up and, and, you know, runs the revolution because the

01:20:36.420 proletariat are not capable of doing that. That's why you need people like mom, Donnie who, uh,

01:20:41.920 understand the theory and everything and can actually make it happen. So in that regard,

01:20:46.900 he fits into a, he he's a, he's a textbook leftist in that regard. But the other thing that I think is

01:20:53.100 interesting about this right now is how it's, what it says about how New York might have changed

01:20:57.680 because there's 2 million Jews in New York city. Um, there are 800,000 Muslims now, which sort of

01:21:05.800 shocked me. That's a bigger number than I would have expected. Yeah. So the city has really changed

01:21:11.720 and he does, uh, in terms of sort of, you know, if you think of the ethnic, uh, makeup of New York and

01:21:18.580 how, you know, ethics rise in politics, he fits that model in a way. Um, that's, that's interesting.

01:21:25.460 And I, so, uh, you know, to your point originally, again, I think he has a pretty good chance of

01:21:31.340 pulling this off, even with all the little stuff that's going to come out about his background and

01:21:35.980 stuff. Um, by the way, his, his wife also lies for the moment. I'm sorry. I think sadly he is,

01:21:41.840 but his wife also lies. Her name is Rama Duwaji. And, um, she says on her Instagram bio that she 0.84

01:21:48.240 is quote from Damascus and she's, she's from Texas. Well, the weather's similar. Damascus,

01:21:56.960 Texas. I don't, I don't think so. I think that's a great deal. Yeah. Yeah. What I don't understand

01:22:05.980 about this, uh, fixation, not just with this guy, but all these young Gen Zers who think they like 0.80

01:22:12.080 socialism. It's not like socialism disappeared off the face of the earth. Uh, Venezuela tried it

01:22:18.020 and it wrecked their economy and it wrecked their economy so much that the Biden administration gave

01:22:25.020 500,000 visas to Venezuelans to come to the United States because their economy was wrecked by socialism.

01:22:33.220 And I don't, there's this disconnect between the facts of the real world in this rhetoric.

01:22:37.780 Um, I guess, I don't know who you blame the press, the public school system, maybe Gen Z, 1.00

01:22:43.780 you know, I don't know, Instagram. I don't know who you blame for this, but, but you know what,

01:22:48.700 you know what, it's right there in front of us, right? It's no surprise because you guys know,

01:22:55.500 so, so you're from San Francisco and Tom's from Chicago. Where are you from, Andy?

01:22:59.540 Well, originally I'm from outside New York city.

01:23:01.660 Okay. You're from New York. And I mean, I've spent the last 17 years in New York.

01:23:07.020 It's these blue cities that are being run into the ground. We're now, instead of recognizing

01:23:13.180 it's democratic rule that has ruined these crown jewels of America. They're like,

01:23:19.320 we got to try communism. That's the only, that's the, and on top of that, they're like,

01:23:25.380 you need communism to fight fascism. You know, there's fascism now in the white house. Only

01:23:30.620 that's not real, but the communism is, it is real. Like this guy is an actual communist. He's it's

01:23:36.560 worse than socialism. You're right. And, and they're not, there's no pause to realize how your city and

01:23:41.980 your life got this way. You know, it is bad. They're not wrong. You know, it's, there is an

01:23:48.040 affordability crisis for sure. Part of it is just, you're young and you chose a very expensive place to

01:23:52.940 live. But a lot of these cities have been run into the ground, like Chicago. I mean,

01:23:56.580 there's no better example of it. I mean, San Francisco is coming back now because they hit

01:23:59.920 rock bottom, I think. And now they're starting to realize you have to moderate or the city's going

01:24:04.740 to just flush down the toilet into the ocean. And Chicago, I mean, what does Brandon Johnson

01:24:09.340 have an 11% approval rating, Tom? Even the left-wing Chicagoans are realizing he's a disaster.

01:24:15.020 I think it might be lower than that, actually.

01:24:17.500 Wow.

01:24:18.780 I mean, at least in, look, at least in New York, you guys have had Republican mayors. I mean,

01:24:22.860 you had Giuliani, you had Bloomberg, who was, you know, Republican, then an independent.

01:24:27.080 Chicago hasn't had a Republican mayor in a hundred years. And Republicans have no control

01:24:33.480 over any of the levers of government, not, not just at the municipal level, but at the state level

01:24:38.700 as well. And, you know, we had Lori, I mean, if you had told me, Megan, four years ago that

01:24:44.320 Chicagoans would be pining for the days of Lori Lightfoot, which they are now, I would have said, 0.58

01:24:50.440 you're crazy. But so there, there is no moderation. There's just this, this constant

01:24:54.840 march to the left. And there are no alternatives. I mean, even the same Democrat who ran this last

01:25:00.500 time around, Paul Vallis could not overcome the teachers unions, could not overcome the,

01:25:04.840 the sort of system that was put in place. And, and now you have a situation where you've got a

01:25:09.960 mayor, as I said, with like 6% approval rating or something. And, uh, but he, he might win

01:25:16.000 reelection. It is completely possible that he could be reelected, uh, just because of,

01:25:21.400 you know, he's, he's got the unions, the teachers union in particular behind him. And that's part

01:25:26.140 of the problem in these big cities is, is the unionization, uh, just being completely lopsided

01:25:32.460 and one-sided. And that's certainly the case in Chicago.

01:25:35.300 By the way, Tom, I was just looking for my papers. I can't find it. It was in my yesterday's,

01:25:39.380 uh, packet, I think, but how many people were killed in Chicago this past weekend?

01:25:42.800 I mean, how many people were shot and killed? And, and the same, no one reports on it. It's

01:25:48.340 fine. The same crowd that wants us to believe like we have to defund the police because they're

01:25:52.560 anti-black. That's where that whole thing came from. It was black people, mostly on the South 1.00

01:25:58.940 side of Chicago who were, how many, I don't have in front of me, how many were killed and how many

01:26:03.260 were shot? It was like 80 shot. And it was a bunch. And look, I've been following this.

01:26:09.700 55 shot, 55 shot, but it goes up to 80. If you, if you include Thursday, like the day before,

01:26:14.760 um, and, and multiple dead, no one cares. They don't care. They don't, they don't care when

01:26:21.140 black people die at the hands of other black people or Hispanics at the hands of other Hispanics. 0.99

01:26:26.700 They only, the left care when they can use it to indict white people, cops, or guns. You don't hear 0.99

01:26:34.540 a peep about gun violence, uh, from any of this crowd in the wake of what happened in Chicago,

01:26:40.100 right? You don't hear any calls. No. And Chicago has some of the, the strictest gun laws in the

01:26:47.780 country. And this has been going on for years. This was going on when Barack Obama was president.

01:26:52.440 I've been, I've been, you know, I get up and I read the Chicago papers every day and it's just

01:26:55.580 to spend this constant drumbeat. And you're right. I mean, it's, it's confined to like a few

01:26:59.700 neighborhoods, a couple on the South side, a couple on the West side, um, who bear the brunt

01:27:03.580 of all of this terrible violence and all the gang stuff that's going on. And then you've got

01:27:06.940 Brandon Johnson. So he just vetoed, uh, uh, you know, they tried to put an ordinance in place

01:27:12.420 to prevent all of these kids from gathering. You know, it was, it was a curfew for teens

01:27:16.560 and he vetoed it. I mean, he just, there's, it makes no sense. And that those are the kinds of

01:27:22.380 policies that you have that, that allow this stuff to just, you know, fester and, and continue.

01:27:28.680 And there's no, there's no, nobody ever puts a stop to it.

01:27:32.000 Here it is. I found my information. So if you just go from midnight on Thursday to July,

01:27:37.860 uh, or to July 6th, Sunday, at least 50 shots, six killed. If you add in Wednesday night,

01:27:45.820 68 shot, 10 killed. Um, it's barely being covered by the so-called legacy media. They don't care.

01:27:55.440 They don't, they actually don't think black lives matter at all. They just love an opportunity to 1.00

01:28:02.460 indict whitey, especially if it happens to be a cop. And if the cop's black, that's fine too. 1.00

01:28:08.100 They'll indict him. They they're fine throwing black cops under. They hate cops of any color, 1.00

01:28:12.340 but it's so obvious, or they'd be reporting on this or they would care. But all of this

01:28:17.380 looking the other way when it's black on black violence or Hispanic on Hispanic violence, 0.83

01:28:22.020 that, that just shows like, that's one of the problems in all these major cities. 0.91

01:28:25.800 They don't care. And it really is that communist mindset of like, what we care about is seizing

01:28:31.560 the means of production. We care about the economics, getting rid of private industry,

01:28:35.960 which is of course is, you know, the capitalism has so few defenders. Where are the in-depth think

01:28:40.400 pieces other than real clear politics.com defending capitalism against these nut cases. What's

01:28:45.600 happened in the mayoral race, according to latest reports is Cuomo called at Adams to ask him to

01:28:56.060 drop out Cuomo who lost to Zoran already by double digits wants Adams to drop, to drop out. And Adams

01:29:04.500 is like, you drop out. I'm the city mayor. I'm literally the city mayor. And I didn't just lose

01:29:10.500 to him. You drop out. No one's dropping out. And Bill Ackman is on Twitter right now, drafting a 430

01:29:18.720 paragraph text saying what his big plan is. I can tell you, man, it's not going to work unless

01:29:25.840 everybody drops out, except for one Zoran Mamdami is going to be the next mayor of New York.

01:29:32.540 Maybe Anthony Weiner can make a comeback.

01:29:34.800 He would have my vote. Literally. I'd rather have the guy, the pervert who's sending up

01:29:40.780 dick pics with a young child at his side. 1.00

01:29:43.980 He's going to, he's going to send you a picture now, Megan.

01:29:47.580 He may sign it too.

01:29:49.720 If this is the price I have to pay, I would vote for Anthony Weiner. I would, I'd vote for him over

01:29:54.440 this moment. I would, people are going to die in New York. They, they, they, if he defunds the police,

01:29:59.860 because I believe he genuinely does want to do that, even though he knew he had to say otherwise to

01:30:03.260 actually get the nomination or messes with the cops, the way he says he's going to poor people

01:30:09.100 of color are going to die in much greater numbers. That will be the direct result of his policy. 0.81

01:33:31.940 Guys, uh, speaking of Momdani, he and the vice president of the United States in an exchange

01:33:36.820 that's fiery. Momdani on July 4th posted the following America is beautiful, contradictory,

01:33:44.080 unfinished. I am proud of our country, even as we constantly strive to make it better,

01:33:49.060 to protect and deepen our democracy, to fulfill its promise for each and every person who calls it

01:33:54.840 home. Happy independence day. No Kings in America. Okay. So JD Vance weighs in. And, uh,

01:34:03.920 this is on camera at a dinner at the Claremont Institute on Saturday. Watch.

01:34:08.380 There is no gratitude in those words, no sense of owing something to this land and the people

01:34:14.800 who turned its wilderness into the most powerful nation on earth. Zoran Momdani's father fled Uganda

01:34:21.740 when the tyrant Idi Amin decided to ethnically cleanse his nation's Indian population. Momdani's 0.98

01:34:28.680 family fled violent racial hatred only for him to come to this country, a country built by people he

01:34:36.760 never knew overflowing with generosity to his family, offering a haven from the kind of violent

01:34:43.060 ethnic conflict that is commonplace in world history, but it is not commonplace here. And he

01:34:49.260 dares on our 249th anniversary to congratulate it by paying homage to its incompleteness and do it's,

01:34:56.760 as he calls it contradiction. I wonder, has he ever read the letters from boy soldiers

01:35:02.840 in the union army to parents and sweethearts that they'd never see again? Has he ever visited the

01:35:09.480 grave site of a loved one who gave their life to build the kind of society where his family could

01:35:15.360 escape racial theft and racial violence? Has he ever looked in the mirror and recognize that he might

01:35:22.120 not be alive were it not for the generosity of a country he dares to insult on its most sacred day?

01:35:28.700 Who the hell does he think that he is?

01:35:35.740 Go, JD. I loved that. I think he's tapping into a sentiment everybody in the Republican Party feels, 0.98

01:35:43.040 which is patriotism. Not so much on the left, according to the polling. But what did you make

01:35:47.300 of the exchange guys, Carl? Well, I, this is a problem in the Democratic Party now is that

01:35:53.400 immigrants who've come here, and they've come for generations. And I'm talking about, you know,

01:35:59.580 fleeing social unrest, you know, from Greece in the 1950s, you know, from everywhere, from Cambodia,

01:36:07.300 from Vietnam. And then you have, you know, this generation of people, Ilian Omar,

01:36:13.980 Mom Donnie, they've come here, and instead of gratitude, they have this resentment. They,

01:36:20.940 and I, I'd say, I do not understand it. I don't know where it comes from. It seems to me, I, you

01:36:26.160 know, gratitude, we expect the French to be grateful, you know, for World War II. Gratitude is not,

01:36:31.920 I think it was Stephen Ambrose who pointed out, a permanent condition. You know, you don't expect

01:36:36.400 people to be, you know, for generations to be grateful. But this guy is first generation. He came here

01:36:42.160 as a kid. This country is giving him everything. And I, I, this, this, this halting, you know,

01:36:49.880 say the bare minimum that you can come up with about America. You know, you can't say anything

01:36:56.000 without saying, oh, and we have faults, unfinished, you know, original sin, racism. I just don't get it.

01:37:01.540 They've come here, and they've thrived. And I just think that, maybe you know, Megan, maybe Tom and

01:37:08.460 Andy and I, we sort of scratched our heads about it. It's a, it's a new, it's a new feature.

01:37:13.020 It's the least attractive trait. And I don't frankly understand it.

01:37:18.020 It's, it's so funny. She mentioned Ilan Omar, who I don't know if she didn't see the polls or what,

01:37:22.800 but she never misses an opportunity to bash America. And she ran around on 4th of July, 0.88

01:37:28.400 covered like a head to toe flag outfit. She put out this patriotic message. Like,

01:37:33.960 I love my country. It was like, do you? Okay. Well, I mean, look, I'll take it if I can get it.

01:37:39.440 She's hugging somebody dressed as the statue of Liberty. Forgive me if I'm a little skeptical in

01:37:44.200 her case, but I will say like, I appreciate the messaging from JD Vance. Uh, I think it's fair to

01:37:50.560 say our last vice president did not have it in her to offer a stirring defense of the United States of

01:37:59.140 America. All right. The only thing she could defend was, uh, the, the, the Venn diagram that

01:38:04.480 she, she loved so much that, that she could talk about, but we just, we did our 4th of July

01:38:10.060 celebration as we do every year. And we go all out one year. I had the national review guys come,

01:38:14.860 you guys should come one year. We should have the RCP guys come, but you have to dress up in a costume.

01:38:19.680 Okay. We had some special guest stars, some of whom you might know. Joe Concha was there of Fox

01:38:25.280 news. Ed Gillespie, you know, him ran for governor of Virginia, almost one, a former Bush guy. Uh,

01:38:31.440 we used to, we used to run the RNC and, um, and we had a bunch of friends come. So we all dressed up.

01:38:38.440 I'll show you the pictures. The people who speak in our little play slash declaration reading all get

01:38:44.460 dressed. Are we going to show them? Um, I get the costumes and I provide them to everybody. Some I

01:38:49.340 own, some I rent from my friend for at this great costume place. And he always says to Abby,

01:38:54.420 when she gets the costumes behind every strong woman is a great gay man. I love him. So he provides

01:39:02.420 us with all the costumes and so on. Most of the costumes, Dave Goreb of Sirius XM there in the

01:39:08.060 middle, who, uh, was super fun to see him too. Anyway, we all get together and we read the

01:39:12.440 declaration and we go back over like the, what led to the declaration, how bad the King was and how

01:39:17.000 people had had it. My friend, Dave, um, Hastings plays the King in this ridiculous red outfit. 0.92

01:39:21.780 And then we read the declaration. We read the terrible things the King was doing. We talk 0.90

01:39:25.700 about Thomas pain and common sense and how revolution was in the air. And all of our kids

01:39:30.040 are growing up hearing about this and hearing about what was going on. I'm just pulling up the,

01:39:35.720 the declaration here and I'll, I'll just read you part of it. And when they're really getting going

01:39:39.900 the founders in, in this document written by Thomas Jefferson, but when a long train of abuses

01:39:45.880 and usurpations pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them, meaning

01:39:52.160 people reduce people under absolute despotism, it is their right. It is their duty to throw off

01:39:58.960 such government and to provide new guards for their future security. Such has been the patient

01:40:03.620 sufferance of these colonies. And such is now the necessity, which constrains them to alter their

01:40:08.900 former systems of government. And we went, we, we go on. That's what the day is about reminding us

01:40:16.360 why we form form this more perfect union, what those unalienable rights were that our founders

01:40:22.800 recognized and put into writing and crafted the entire government behind, not we're unfinished or

01:40:30.620 imperfect. I'm proud of it, but no Kings. This, this guy doesn't get it. Any thoughts?

01:40:37.200 Oh, look, are you coming to my party? Greatest. Yes. We'll take that as a, an invitation. We,

01:40:42.820 we absolutely accept. We'll be there next year. Tom will do the entire reading by himself.

01:40:49.360 Carl was there. You can do it from memory. Probably. Yes. No, I agree. We'll do it for the big

01:40:55.280 two 50. The greatest system of government ever devised. Greatest country ever. We don't need some

01:41:01.920 moron from Uganda, changing it to a communist system. He does not have the answers guys. 1.00
