00:01:00.720 Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, live on Sirius XM Channel 111 every weekday at New East.
00:01:12.400 Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly.
00:01:14.140 Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show.
00:01:15.740 We have so much going on.
00:01:17.560 There is a lot happening.
00:01:19.480 The midterms are a couple of days away.
00:01:22.440 We have updates just breaking now from the Daily Mail on the Meghan Markle saga.
00:01:28.940 Here's a preview. They went to Mexico. It's Halloween weekend. Are you guys ready for that?
00:01:34.920 And by the way, it could get very scary for Ilhan Omar as federal investigators continue to probe
00:01:39.900 this alleged immigration fraud scheme involving her and her family. And there is no guarantee
00:01:46.240 that Democrats will continue to support her. It's already starting to shed away
00:01:52.860 Her Democrat support, a prominent Democratic strategist in Minnesota who ran two of Minneapolis
00:01:59.920 Mayor Jacob Fry's successful campaigns, just posted on X that the allegation about Omar
00:02:06.240 marrying her brother is, quote, almost certainly true. Whatever conclusion Democrats draw from that
00:02:12.560 point could vary. And her denials calling it a right wing Islamophobic or racist conspiracy
00:02:18.260 are almost certainly not, not true.
00:02:23.320 It's starting.
00:02:25.140 When even the Democrats start to peel off,
00:02:27.440 when we find out Barack Obama was the one to first investigate her,
00:02:31.980 that Joe Biden started an investigation into her,
00:02:34.400 that the Obama Justice Department and Biden
00:02:36.720 were not able to clear up her record.
00:02:40.620 It's time to jump ship if you are on the
00:02:43.640 Ilhan Omar did nothing wrong boat.
00:02:47.140 Coming up in our second hour, Mike Solana is here.
00:02:50.060 He's going to talk about the new InstaDoc.
00:02:52.520 This is now a thing.
00:02:54.180 From Netflix on the Cornell 8 case, it is an absurd piece of propaganda. 0.85
00:03:02.100 Honestly, I think that we should do the rebuttal to this bullshit and see if Netflix will air it. 0.89
00:03:08.920 Because unlike the people who made this film, we actually know what we're talking about. 0.94
00:03:12.940 And we have got to get into Nicole Kidman's photo shoot for Vogue Australia, where there are allegations AI was used to make her look younger, all while she is dressed like a teeny bopper.
00:03:26.500 The woman is 60 years old, OK?
00:03:28.800 You don't have to dress like my 15-year-old daughter. 1.00
00:03:33.520 Why don't you try looking fabulous at 60 instead of trying to look like a 14-year-old? 0.82
00:03:41.140 It's inappropriate, and it gives viewers the ick factor.
00:03:45.620 It makes you think like, what's going on here?
00:03:48.900 Look at this.
00:03:50.040 Look at this.
00:03:51.460 She's been watching too much Instagram. 1.00
00:03:54.160 Look at this.
00:03:55.360 Oh, Nicole, you look like a 20-year-old.
00:03:58.540 Look how amazing.
00:03:59.400 All right, first of all, there absolutely has been gobs of retouching done to these photos.
00:04:04.140 Have you seen Nicole Kidman in any moving pictures? 0.87
00:04:07.800 she is extremely fillered. Is the word filled when you just use a lot of filler? Her face
00:04:15.860 looks puffy. It always looks puffy. She has absolutely stuffed it full of filler at every
00:04:21.220 fold. And yet magically on this cover, she has absolutely no age on her whatsoever. I'm sure
00:04:30.100 it's totally natural. I mean, this is just ridiculous. Isn't part of the glory of getting 0.98
00:04:36.180 a little older, that you can have a few lines and you can look great, but you've got, you're 0.99
00:04:43.500 leading with your goddamn wisdom. Forgive me for using the Lord's name in vain, but that's what 0.99
00:04:49.340 you're leading with. All the things you've learned, the things you know, the perspective you have on
00:04:54.940 this world. Hopefully that actually does make your face more beautiful, make you more radiant.
00:05:02.200 that confidence. No, no. She's decided to just dress like a teeny bopper and hope you actually
00:05:10.380 believe it. I mean, come on, Nicole, please. These kinds of photo shoots, it's a hit to all
00:05:17.120 of womankind. And of course, she's in her Chanel because she's got to deal with them and these 0.75
00:05:21.960 magazines just do whatever they can to prop up a brand and a face like Nicole Kidman's, who's 0.98
00:05:29.420 famous so that they can get people to buy their stupid magazines, which have not been relevant 0.99
00:05:34.060 in a very long time. Okay. So we'll have a little bit more on that. I do actually do have more to 0.99
00:05:38.080 say. When it comes to supplements, we all know there are two things that matter, that it works
00:05:43.500 and that you can trust it. Rather than just tell you about Relief Factor, we often bring you
00:05:48.280 what their real customers have to say. One, Jim, said he ran out of Relief Factor twice and that
00:05:54.540 both times his aches, stiffness, and pain came back. Once he restarted it, he says he felt better
00:06:00.020 again. As Jim puts it, quote, you know something's working when you run out of it. I know many people
00:06:05.200 who have used Relief Factor and had it work for them, including yours truly. I took it from my
00:06:10.200 shoulder and then ordered it again and both times found real relief. They make it easy to find out
00:06:15.740 if you're going to join me and Jim as a satisfied Relief Factor customer and talking about how much
00:06:20.560 it helps you tackle your daily aches and pains. Three weeks for just $17.76. Simply go to

00:06:33.420 will do everything they can to help you. And maybe you will be sharing your story with them
00:06:37.920 and with me soon too. Let's just start with the Ilhan Omar nightmare because this woman is shedding
00:06:45.960 support like there's no tomorrow. It's very interesting. First of all, first, the people
00:06:52.980 who have taken a belated interest in Ilona Omar would have discovered that her husband is gay, 0.99
00:06:58.200 the brusband. Welcome to the party. We've all known that, people who have been investigating 1.00
00:07:03.180 this for a while now. But here you have a report about how he described himself as a gay man
00:07:11.560 in an August 2026 academic paper.
00:07:15.000 He's at the University of Bristol pursuing his doctoral.
00:07:18.840 He's a researcher, his doctorate.
00:07:21.020 And he wrote that studying violence against gay individuals in Africa
00:07:24.020 was, quote, not just an academic undertaking
00:07:27.100 due to the complexities of his identity
00:07:30.080 as a gay man of the East African diaspora.
00:07:34.380 The article is entitled Out in the Field.
00:07:36.940 Get it, Out in the Field. 0.92
00:07:38.680 Notes on restructuring queer violence in Kenya
00:07:41.520 and was published in the academic journal, The Open Review. 0.98
00:07:46.740 So yeah, in addition to being her brother, he's gay. 0.64
00:07:51.500 There are a lot of reasons not to marry him, as it turns out. 0.72
00:07:54.840 And now we get this news of the former campaign manager for a prominent Democrat,
00:08:02.640 Jacob Fry of Minnesota, no less, of Minneapolis, coming out and saying,
00:08:06.540 people, I'm sorry to break it to you, but these scandals are real. It does look true that she
00:08:14.080 married her brother and it cannot be dismissed as a right wing conspiracy. Oh, and by the way,
00:08:19.020 you're on very shaky ground if you try to defend her financial mess as a right wing conspiracy
00:08:25.880 to like get it together. And he's currently in his comments section on his ex feed arguing with
00:08:31.400 very angry Democrats who don't want to hear that. Sorry, them's the brakes. He's right.
00:08:38.720 And that's, I mean, this is significant. You've never heard of this guy, but it's significant
00:08:41.740 because he is of Minneapolis, Minnesota, her state, Jacob Fry. Is there a more left-leaning,
00:08:49.720 woke, annoying Democrat in America? So the wheels are starting to come off the bus
00:08:56.220 and it's not going anyplace good for her.
00:08:59.900 Meantime, we are now just days away from the midterms
00:09:03.440 and the news for the Republicans does not look good.
00:09:07.040 We have looked at pretty much everything
00:09:08.980 and what had been some Republican,
00:09:12.960 I don't know, like self-soothing
00:09:17.180 about the polls always favoring the Dems
00:09:21.760 and even Frank Luntz, who's obviously not a Trump fan,
00:09:25.100 He tweeted out something yesterday showing that the final polls in many of these swing states that we're talking about right now, these Senate races going into 2024, had Kamala Harris up seven, five, nine, and she was crushed in all of them.
00:09:43.420 Trump won every single swing state.
00:09:45.020 And it's a good reminder. You know, many Republicans, I know lots of Republicans who don't participate in these polls. They have never made it onto a pollster's radar or when the pollster calls, they're just not interested. They don't trust them. So they are difficult to poll, these pesky Republicans. They don't believe in a system that has tried to suppress their vote now for many, many election cycles.
00:10:06.280 And all these polls are showing the Democrats winning virtually all of the swing states.
00:10:12.600 So at the end of this thing on Tuesday night, if the Republicans manage to hold on to the Senate and win the majority of the swing states, polling is officially dead, dead.
00:10:24.960 And if they do go, these states, as the polls go, then you can officially say that Republicans really, they're just, they're out, like they're disaffected, they're unhappy, and that the Trump agenda has failed them.
00:10:42.980 I mean, if the Republicans lose all of these swing states and the Democrats take control of the Senate in a year that it was not so long ago, that was considered an impossibility, then it's absolutely an F for the first two years of the Trump presidency.
00:11:00.460 That's one of those two things is going to happen.
00:11:03.800 The Republicans will pull it out and polling is dead.
00:11:06.840 The Democrats will pull it out and we will have a grade and it will be a very bad one
00:11:11.900 for the first two years of the Trump presidency, both on President Trump himself and on the 0.64
00:11:16.100 Republicans who just refused to challenge him at any turn, who went along like lemmings
00:11:20.640 with everything he said.
00:11:21.940 And whenever he threatened them, they all got in line and they didn't act as an independent
00:11:24.980 body in the Senate.
00:11:25.980 And they didn't fulfill their obligations to their voters by having individual states' interests in their hearts as opposed to pleasing President Trump in their own electoral chances.
00:11:35.340 That's where we are.
00:11:37.340 Let me tell you what the Cook Political Report is predicting now in their closing Senate analysis.
00:11:45.180 I think this is sound, what they have come up with.
00:11:50.580 It's not they're not really predicting, but they are sort of analyzing the races, the seven tightest races for the Senate.
00:11:59.620 They say overall they see Democrats as the slight favorites.
00:12:04.900 We are keeping seven races in our toss up category.
00:12:08.800 After talking to scores of plugged in strategists, they write on both sides of the aisle who are tracking the races exhaustively.
00:12:14.580 They also do not they don't know how these states are going to break.
00:12:19.000 They're saying we don't and they don't. All we can see is where they're trending. And I think that's honest. I appreciate the honesty. They talk about the Iran war, the rising gas and diesel prices, a key turning point in all of this. Yes, we know. Many of us predicted that would be a serious problem.
00:12:36.740 His approval ratings, Trump's, had started to recede even before that, though, they write, including in deep red states.
00:12:42.560 And that's because the economy has been the number one issue for all voters from, you know, a year ago to now.
00:12:50.340 They get down state by state.
00:12:52.840 North Carolina, they say, is gone.
00:12:54.320 It will be the Democrats' first pickup of the night.
00:12:57.400 Republicans having all but ceded the state weeks ago.
00:13:00.540 So the GOP candidate is former RNC chairman Michael Watley, who most people have never even heard of.
00:13:07.020 And he is up against former Democratic governor Roy Cooper.
00:13:11.500 They write, Cooper's been on about as much of a glide path as you can be.
00:13:15.100 So this is a big race.
00:13:17.680 If this guy wins by double digits, Roy Cooper, they're saying Democrats should feel good about their chances elsewhere because these races do get streaky.
00:13:25.600 I've covered enough of these election nights to know they're very streaky.
00:13:29.240 And it's not the usual that you have like, oh, you know, of the seven contested races, three went one way, four went the other.
00:13:36.860 They tend to all go like they did for Trump in 2024 because whatever.
00:13:41.880 There's a dynamic in the country where people are very angry about something or they're very happy about the prospect of something or they're looking to send a message.
00:13:51.040 And there's only so much pollsters can tell us.
00:13:53.620 You know, the electorate will tell us the final verdict, and you see that unfolding as you sit there on election night, which we hope to do with you.
00:14:01.080 We'll be live, of course, covering it.
00:14:03.940 Maine, Republicans and Democrats have very different views of it.
00:14:07.560 Despite being burned in the past by polls that underestimated Susan Collins, Democrats are cautiously optimistic that their private polling and public data is right this time.
00:14:17.840 um the the problem for them is that hit collins she has historical resilience which they point
00:14:24.520 out with swing voters and the private gop polling shows a much closer race the democrat troy jackson
00:14:31.240 he's stepping his cousin no one seems to care i care i think it's very weird i would not vote
00:14:37.460 for such a person ever i just think that's bizarre i these democrats want their abortion
00:14:42.820 on demand, so they don't really care. They're like, do whoever you want to do. I don't know.
00:14:48.340 The thing that they say they're really mad about, the Democrats in Maine, is Susan Collins' vote for
00:14:54.960 Brett Kavanaugh. So like the swing voters, the independent voters, they're holding her vote for
00:15:00.960 Brett Kavanaugh. If these people cannot see what a farce that was, what a made up bunch of bullshit, 1.00
00:15:09.080 Whatever. 1.00
00:15:09.960 Okay, then fine. 1.00
00:15:11.660 Go ahead and elect the cousin schtipper. 1.00
00:15:13.960 You deserve what you're going to get. 1.00
00:15:15.580 It's like, Brett Kavanaugh did nothing wrong.
00:15:19.200 He didn't lay a finger on that woman. 1.00
00:15:21.140 That was all bullshit. 1.00
00:15:22.880 How can you not see that now? 1.00
00:15:25.080 Okay, whatever.
00:15:26.020 That's Maine. 1.00
00:15:26.640 I personally think Susan Collins will pull it out in Maine. 0.99
00:15:30.020 She just is very resilient.
00:15:32.060 And I just think, you know, in New York, growing up in New York, we had a bunch of stalwarts there.
00:15:37.900 who were beloved, both in the governor's mansion and the Senate.
00:15:43.240 And there's like a thing that happens when you have a lawmaker
00:15:46.140 who you keep returning to power.
00:15:48.680 You also feel powerful.
00:15:50.580 You feel like my senator is going to be on a better committee.
00:15:53.300 We're going to have like a better chance to help our state
00:15:55.780 if we keep this well-respected long-term politician on the roster for us. 1.00
00:16:00.400 And I think Susan Collins benefits from that.
00:16:02.380 Now, right now, there is a 11th hour controversy unfolding in Maine.
00:16:09.080 It was the lead on, well, one of them on Morning Joe over on MS Now this morning.
00:16:14.860 And that crew was trying to make a lot of hay out of Susan Collins' one of her closing ads.
00:16:20.060 And then Troy Jackson's trying to take advantage of it.
00:16:22.840 This is the ad that they're using against her.
00:16:25.760 It's from her campaign.
00:16:27.980 When did Maine politics go into the gutter?
00:16:30.220 It's shameful, really.
00:16:31.880 Susan Collins is one of the most decent and honest people I know.
00:16:35.380 Now, I also know Troy Jackson, but we're not talking about buying a coat of wood here.
00:16:39.620 We're sending someone to the U.S. Senate, and Troy doesn't have the tools he needs to be effective.
00:16:44.740 Both sides know that in times of trouble, they can turn to Susan because she delivers for Maine.
00:16:50.020 We need Susan, America's most independent senator, working for all of us.
00:16:54.800 okay so it's like a veiled reference to troy jackson's work which they think is a shot at
00:17:02.760 all working class people i mean like if you squint you might see it like what huh can we
00:17:08.100 watch it again when did main politics go into the gutter it's shameful really susan collins is one
00:17:14.560 of the most decent and honest people i know now i also know troy jackson but we're not talking
00:17:20.100 about buying a coat of wood here we're sending someone to the u.s senate and troy doesn't have
00:17:24.420 the tools he needs to be effective both sides know that in times of trouble they can turn to 0.99
00:17:29.860 susan because she delivers for me we need susan america's most independent senator working for all
00:17:36.120 of us okay so he he worked selling wood and this is he's basically saying he doesn't have the
00:17:44.480 qualifications to become a u.s senator and the reaction on morning joe was as if she had said
00:17:51.360 i hate the working class okay i don't you're really reaching i the amy acton ad that they put
00:17:58.540 out that was controversial i don't have to squint to see it i know why uh this one i'm not so sure
00:18:06.000 here was troy jackson's rebuttal susan collins and her wealthy friends think i'm good enough to
00:18:13.680 buy a quart of firewood from but i'm not good enough to be the next u.s senator they say i
00:18:18.200 don't have the tools. But look, Susan Collins' tools are super PACs that are bankrolled by 0.97
00:18:22.980 billionaires, dark money lobbyists, and shell companies. So look, I've never needed tools like
00:18:27.600 that. I like my chainsaw and my splitting mall just fine. Where I'm from, you don't buy wood
00:18:33.380 from people that break their word, screw people over, and cheat. I sure as hell wouldn't buy a
00:18:38.480 core of wood from Susan Collins, and I sure as hell wouldn't send her back to the U.S. Senate. 1.00
00:18:42.680 it. Okay. Troy Jackson, in addition to the cousin problem, has an issue with articulating his words.
00:18:51.840 And he is not the only Democrat to suffer from this. He sounds drunk half the time. And so does,
00:18:58.160 speaking of that Vivek Ramaswamy ad, so does Amy Acton. And they're like, not a week goes by where
00:19:05.580 we don't get another clip of her sounding hammered. I'm telling you, I think this woman has an issue. 1.00
00:19:11.940 We already know that the cops showed up at her house not once, but twice. 0.83
00:19:16.480 Once in 13, once in 19, once called by her daughter, once we don't know who in the house called.
00:19:22.780 And at least once she was described as being on prescription medication and having been boozing it up.
00:19:28.640 Pulled a mirror off the wall, smashed it on the floor. 1.00
00:19:32.300 I think this woman's got an issue. 1.00
00:19:34.920 And just today, another one hit of her sounding. 1.00
00:19:39.540 This is her last night.
00:19:40.380 Do we have it? 0.62
00:19:40.880 Do we have them broken out?
00:19:41.940 Because last night, yeah, here it is.
00:19:44.000 She was addressing union workers.
00:19:46.820 This is in Toledo, like 12 hours ago, 15.
00:19:50.900 And listen to her, Sot 3. 0.97
00:19:52.780 Oh, it's so good. 1.00
00:19:55.160 Good to be back here at UAW.
00:19:59.380 It's about truth and justice, I just wrote on the words back here.
00:20:06.380 That is, I'm honored to be here.
00:20:10.240 What? 1.00
00:20:10.800 I, she can't, she, she is worse than Kamala. It's happened over and over again. A compliant 0.87
00:20:17.960 media has no interest in highlighting the number of times that it's happened. We put together a
00:20:24.660 little sample for you. Here's a bit. We have gone to every corner of the state, not in a big Jeep
00:20:32.740 Flying over like Ohio's a fly, I mean, in a big jet.
00:20:38.120 He's flying in a jet.
00:20:39.980 He's flying in a corporate jet, but we've been driving in an old Jeep Wrangler.
00:20:46.980 Hi, everybody.
00:20:49.180 It is so good to see you all here today.
00:20:53.500 It's a little warm.
00:20:55.080 Thank you.
00:20:55.680 It's a little hot.
00:20:57.380 Look, I'm a doctor.
00:20:59.320 I am not a politician.
00:21:02.740 I am a doctor, not a politician, because together, we are going to take on Mr.
00:21:10.760 Maswami and this whole axis, and we will win.
00:21:14.680 Who?
00:21:15.100 We will win.
00:21:17.180 I've said over and over to you that every one of us matters, and every day matters.
00:21:25.020 But today is the day that matters.
00:21:29.220 Okay.
00:21:30.320 Good luck, Ohio.
00:21:31.360 Do the right thing. You know it's not her. I realize that Vivek is not the most powerful, most popular politician on the right or the left, but that is your alternative.
00:21:45.460 OK, so there's Troy Jackson in Maine against Susan Collins, and then that was just the Ohio gubernatorial race.
00:21:51.980 But Ohio's a challenge at the senatorial level, too. Before we get there, let's go to Alaska, where it's very, very hard to poll. And Cook Political Report is saying that Republicans sound pessimistic about this race, given Dan S. Sullivan, the incumbent senator's, poor approval ratings.
00:22:14.280 It's ranked choice voting out there, which means we might not know the answer for weeks.
00:22:18.700 And now this whole fake Dan Sullivan guy who also will be on the ballot is turning into a potential criminal case.
00:22:26.080 That thing has exploded. You have not heard the last of that.
00:22:29.460 Mary Peltola could be in a lot of trouble. Her campaign staffers could get criminally charged. 1.00
00:22:33.520 If there's any evidence she personally participated in it, we believe she knew.
00:22:38.040 But if there's evidence she personally participated in it, she could be in trouble.
00:22:41.900 There's talk of possibly not certifying Mary Peltola as a U.S. senator if she wins. 0.91
00:22:46.640 That thing's going to be a hornet's nest for quite some time if Peltola does pull it out.
00:22:53.180 Texas, writes Cook, may be the next state to flip after North Carolina and possibly Maine.
00:22:59.520 Tallarico has consistently led the baggage-laden Republican Ken Paxton.
00:23:04.520 The Texas attorney general has also run a subpar campaign with Elon Musk and the Senate Leadership Fund having to bail him out.
00:23:11.160 to the tune of $180 million. This is going to be a nightmare. I mean, this will be absolutely
00:23:16.840 stunning if Tallarico overcomes Texas's red Republican nature and how bizarre this man 0.61
00:23:25.500 Tallarico is and votes for him. I realize Ken Paxton is not a likable figure. He's got zero 0.51
00:23:33.360 charm. He's mired in controversy. But look at the alternative. I mean, on the other hand,
00:23:41.160 And if you listen to Tallarico, like we did in that CNN town hall, he actually does. I'm not going to I would never vote for him, but he has a charm to him. He can speak extemporaneously. He can look you in the eye and do the Bill Clinton thing. Ken Paxton cannot at all.
00:23:58.540 And he, Ken Paxton, has refused to debate. And you can see why. I mean, remember the whole Nixon-Kennedy thing where Nixon was sweating and Kennedy looked charming and the people who listened to it on radio thought that Nixon had won, but the people who watched it on television thought that JFK had won?
00:24:13.740 uh that he's looking at a similar problem there ken paxton which is why he said no because nobody
00:24:20.920 listens to it on the radio solely anymore everybody sees the clips all over social media at a minimum
00:24:27.780 i don't know what's going to happen in texas and neither does cook political uh they've rated it
00:24:34.660 a toss-up like the others after texas ohio they say is the next most vulnerable gop held seat
00:24:43.200 Appointed Senator John Husted, who took over for J.D. Vance, has not run a particularly impressive race.
00:24:49.900 And they say he's been hurt by Vivek Ramaswamy's spiraling gubernatorial campaign.
00:24:55.140 Depends on who you ask, actually.
00:24:56.900 The polls have not been that bad for Vivek.
00:24:59.120 They're using one poll that was negative to say he's way behind.
00:25:03.340 That's just one.
00:25:05.160 So I've seen another poll that shows Vivek up two over Amy Acton that hit just this week.
00:25:10.880 So I don't know where Vivek actually stands.
00:25:14.200 I just know the establishment hates him.
00:25:15.620 So any chance to say that he's a drain on the ticket, they will take.
00:25:19.120 And he has only the only constituency that likes Vivek is really core MAGA because establishment
00:25:24.660 Republicans can't hate him, can cannot stand him.
00:25:27.300 They hate him with a passion, especially after he ran for president.
00:25:30.360 And he was the anti Nikki Haley who the establishment types like the left hates him because, you
00:25:36.600 know, he's bold and he's annoying and he's not woke.
00:25:38.480 And the MAGA faithful like him because he's been sort of more of a Trump acolyte and J.D. Vance has been stumping for him.
00:25:46.060 So, you know, that's a small constituency, but not in Ohio.
00:25:51.380 So we'll have to wait to see what happens on election night there.
00:25:55.140 Kansas, more likely to flip than Iowa, they say.
00:25:58.820 But it's amazing we're talking about Kansas.
00:26:00.640 Kansas, seriously, they have not elected a Democrat to the Senate since 1932.
00:26:06.360 1932, my friends. My Nana was 17. She died in 2016 at 101. So when my Nana was 17,
00:26:17.560 that was the last time that they elected a Democrat to the Senate in Kansas.
00:26:21.900 Trump won the state by 16 points. But all the buzz is around the Democrat, who's this moderate,
00:26:28.120 supposedly moderate guy, a reverend, who everyone says is one of, if not the best
00:26:36.580 candidate Democrats picked this cycle up against Senator Roger Marshall, who is believed to have
00:26:42.560 run one of the worst campaigns. It could happen. Cook Political reporting that the agriculture
00:26:49.260 industry has been hard hit there. This is another objection to, among other things, the Iran war,
00:26:55.220 where ag has been hit considerably with the fertilizer and prices and so on.
00:27:00.040 So Kansas could go, and that, I mean, that would be a devastating sign
00:27:05.060 for the Republicans, Kansas of all places.
00:27:08.980 They do believe that the Republicans will hold on.
00:27:14.360 Hold on, I'm reading my notes here.
00:27:18.720 In Iowa, yeah.
00:27:20.660 I have heard pretty much everybody say they think that Representative Ashley Hinson
00:27:23.980 is going to beat the Democratic state rep Josh Turek there.
00:27:26.940 I'm not going to spend too much time on Iowa for that reason.
00:27:29.760 They talk about the Republican offensive opportunities like Michigan,
00:27:34.140 which they point out should have been a relatively easy hold for Dems.
00:27:38.420 It's a swing state.
00:27:39.940 It leans blue.
00:27:41.740 But Abdul El-Sayed is controversial.
00:27:43.700 He has not shorn up the black vote or the Jewish vote in Michigan.
00:27:48.260 And there are real questions about whether he can win
00:27:52.120 without those two constituencies turning out for him.
00:27:55.260 The Republican is Mike Rogers,
00:27:56.560 who got beaten by that demon, Alyssa Slotkin,
00:28:00.360 who wants to put young teenagers in, 1.00
00:28:03.480 well, I guess old teenagers,
00:28:04.960 18 and 19 year olds and thereabouts,
00:28:07.420 who want to go work for Trump in jail.
00:28:09.820 She wants to threaten them with jail 0.90
00:28:12.120 if they work for Team Trump. 1.00
00:28:13.580 She is a sicko. 1.00
00:28:14.620 This is a sick, sick person. 1.00
00:28:17.400 And she beat Mike Rogers. 1.00
00:28:19.180 He lost to her.
00:28:19.880 And for some reason,
00:28:20.680 the GOP thought they'd run him again.
00:28:22.120 why do we keep doing that? That is just a, just stop. That's, is there no other candidate
00:28:27.720 that they can't cultivate like fresh new blood? And especially for today's times,
00:28:35.000 Mike Rogers is a neocon. That's what he was known for when he was in the house. Like he,
00:28:40.040 he's a neocon. And in a state like Michigan, where Israel is a huge issue and the, you know,
00:28:47.000 what's happened in Gaza, that's who the Republicans decided to run. You couldn't get somebody for
00:28:51.900 whom Israel isn't like the first thing you think about when you see him. That's like, this was 0.97
00:28:56.880 stupid. So yeah, it should have been an easy hold for the Democrats. I think it will be a hold, 1.00
00:29:05.460 but if, if Mike Rogers wins, it, it will be because they did an effective job of basically 0.97
00:29:12.820 tying El Sayyad to the Muslim brotherhood and the Jewish vote in Michigan, because let's keep in
00:29:18.000 mind, there are a lot of Jewish voters who tend to vote Democrat, are starting not to. And something
00:29:23.360 bizarre is happening this weekend that actually could affect this whole thing. Haley Stevens,
00:29:27.320 you know, Haley Stevens tried to beat Elsa in for the nomination because she's a Michigander. 1.00
00:29:34.240 She didn't pull it out. And she is still a Democrat, though. And so there's been a question 0.71
00:29:40.800 about who she's going to vote for. Well, she came out and said, I'm going to vote for Abdul. That's 0.87
00:29:44.520 what she calls him. But her fiance says, I think he's Jewish, but he says, I'm going to vote for 0.98
00:29:51.460 Mike Rogers. And, um, I don't trust El Sayed and he's too far, he's too radical on issues that
00:29:59.040 affect me and, uh, Jewish people. And so no, but now Haley Stevens is going to go campaign with
00:30:07.140 Abdul this weekend. I was just listening to this report on Fox news. Okay. So that's good for
00:30:11.660 Abdul. However, I think it was Trey Yingst on Fox was pointing out that she's going and she's
00:30:21.200 saying the reason I'm going to go campaign with Abdul is I expect he's going to apologize for an
00:30:28.620 ad that Cenk Uyghur of the Young Turks, you know, our friend Anna Kasparian is of the Young Turks,
00:30:34.020 so is Cenk, he founded it. He's been running this ad. You may not remember, but he ran for
00:30:39.640 president technically last time around. It was one of those people who wanted to front his issues.
00:30:44.300 And one of them has been Israel for a long, long time. And he has this ad running. Back then he
00:30:49.740 had it, and now he's updated it to help El-Sayed in Michigan. And the ad basically has people
00:30:57.280 walking around trying to buy groceries saying they can't afford them, they can't afford eggs, 0.96
00:31:00.940 they can't afford butter because we're too busy killing people in Gaza. We're too busy funding 1.00
00:31:06.580 the murder of children in Gaza and paying for Israel's national defense. 0.81
00:31:14.440 Well, everybody, you know, who, like, anybody who makes Israel their front and center issue
00:31:21.420 has condemned this as grossly anti-Semitic, the Anti-Defamation League.
00:31:24.860 All these people have come out and said it's very anti-Semitic, and they're trying to tie
00:31:29.100 it to El Saeed, who says, it's not my ad.
00:31:32.940 And he actually is on camera saying, I wish people wouldn't like try to capitalize their own issues off of my candidacy.
00:31:39.520 This is not my ad.
00:31:40.820 He didn't, though, quote, denounce denounce the ad.
00:31:44.460 But she says he's going to this weekend, the weekend before the vote, which would be an extraordinary thing for him to do.
00:31:55.440 That's what his closing message is going to be.
00:31:57.120 I'm sorry about ads that I did not, that I did not produce, that I am not behind.
00:32:05.860 And it sounds like she thinks he's going to go beyond that, that there's going to be something else approaching an apology from El-Sayed.
00:32:14.300 My team is just sending me the long tweet.
00:32:17.360 Here's what she posted.
00:32:18.220 On the eve of our big and important election, a unifying moment has arrived.
00:32:23.840 Our Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate disavows the Rebellion PAC ad made by Hassan Piker's uncle, that's Cenk, that claims Jews are responsible for America's economic woes.
00:32:36.500 We have learned from party leaders and emissaries, as reported in the news media, that he has, meaning that he has denounced it, that she says he disavows, disavows.
00:32:47.920 On Sunday, I will join with the great Democratic leader Jim Clyburn and Dr. El-Sayed for a church service in the beautiful city of Detroit.
00:32:54.940 The political coalition of black and Jewish voices that have carried Michigan and this country through so many storms to the righteous path of liberal democracy and equal opportunity for all will ring out.
00:33:04.980 And she goes on in her full statement.
00:33:08.840 Let's see exactly what he says, because her statement suggests he is going to be apologizing for more than just that ad, with which he had nothing to do.
00:33:16.160 that there's going to be more.
00:33:18.300 He's going to, like, spend the last, what, 48 hours before the vote self-flagellating
00:33:22.420 so he can shore up the Jewish vote?
00:33:25.000 Okay, maybe that's a move because he's already got the, not anti-Jewish, but anti-Israel
00:33:30.620 vote, which is large in Democrat circles and independent circles in particular, and extra
00:33:35.780 so in Michigan.
00:33:38.080 It's risky, though.
00:33:39.320 It's risky.
00:33:40.500 Okay, let's keep going.
00:33:41.300 In New Hampshire, where there is an open seat, they cook political reports that Democrats feel confident that they will hold it.
00:33:52.380 And polls show that their candidate, Representative Chris Pappas, is up mid to high single digits over former GOP Senator John E. Sununu.
00:34:02.760 Some Republicans are still holding out that the Sununu name will carry the day.
00:34:06.720 And they also have, you know, it's New Hampshire, so they're fiercely independent.
00:34:11.300 Um, they ticket split and so on. They're thinking maybe Sununu could pull it out. I would not put
00:34:15.440 that in the likely GOP category and neither does Cook. They rate it lean Dem. So they put the
00:34:23.460 Michigan Senate race in toss up given El Sayed's liabilities. They put the, uh, New Hampshire
00:34:30.140 Senate race in lean Dem. And I think that's right in Minnesota. Unfortunately, unfortunately
00:34:35.580 Republican Michelle Tafoya, who is the best candidate running for Republicans anywhere this cycle, should absolutely wipe the floor with the kooky Peggy Flanagan lieutenant governor who's running for Senate now. 1.00
00:34:51.880 And unfortunately, the Cook seems to be winning. 1.00
00:34:56.480 Cook has it rated lean, dem.
00:34:59.200 I mean, I think that's right because they point out,
00:35:01.380 even though Tafoya has run a very competent campaign,
00:35:03.580 the fundamentals in Minnesota create too tough an environment for a GOP candidate.
00:35:08.660 I mean, it's Minnesota, right?
00:35:10.040 So it's like, what do we expect Minnesotans are going to do?
00:35:14.820 They're the ones who are fine with Ilhan Omar and will reelect her, no problem.
00:35:18.160 So they talk about Georgia just as a follow as a final saying it's it's likely Democrat.
00:35:24.380 And there's just no like everyone believes that Senator John Ossoff is going to win.
00:35:29.800 He's the Dem. I don't I can't find a Republican even who believes that the Republicans have a chance in Georgia.
00:35:36.160 Georgia. Last but not least, they point out the blue tsunami warning states like South Carolina,
00:35:41.960 where Darlene Graham is reportedly within a point or tide with her Democratic challenger,
00:35:47.900 pediatrician Annie Andrews. This still is a very red state and they're very used to voting Graham
00:35:54.080 for senator. So if you had to put your money on it, I think you'd go with Darlene. But folks,
00:35:58.900 another piss-poor candidate selection has endangered the seat for the GOP.
00:36:06.220 Cook writes it has mixed feelings about the Nebraska contest,
00:36:10.080 doubting that the independent Dan Osborne could pull off a win
00:36:13.760 against a stronger candidate in Senator Pete Ricketts
00:36:16.680 than happened the last time around when his opponent, Deb Fisher, was running.
00:36:22.060 But the environment is worse this time around for Republicans,
00:36:24.960 and Democrats believe they finally landed a salient hit against Ricketts for pardons of
00:36:29.400 violent criminals as governor. I put my money on Ricketts for sure here. He's like, he's very
00:36:34.340 popular. He's personally charming. He doesn't have any of these problems that some of these other,
00:36:39.080 like he's no Darlene Graham. He knows what he's doing. The Ricketts family is very well known,
00:36:42.580 very popular. I don't think he's going to have any trouble in Nebraska. I'd be shocked if he did.
00:36:46.900 Mississippi, likely Republican. I just don't think Mississippi's really in play. This is like
00:36:51.480 a fever dream. Florida, same. So that's where we stand on the Cook Political Report and its
00:36:57.740 projections and some of my own few days before the big vote. I mean, I will just go back to the
00:37:03.140 truest word of all, which is nobody knows nothing about nothing. That's the truth of the politics
00:37:09.300 in general these days and certainly of these midterm elections. Nobody knows nothing about
00:37:13.960 nothing. Nothing, I tell you. Nothing. Okay. I want to switch over to, well, gosh, there's a lot to do.
00:37:20.980 Maybe let's do the Meghan Markle news that just broke.
00:37:25.300 The Daily Mail has found, it reports, child pornography, meaning child sexual abuse material, in Thomas Markle's Mexico storage unit.
00:37:36.060 How were they in there?
00:37:38.540 Like, how did they get access to it?
00:37:41.660 This is by Greg Woodfield in Rosarito, Mexico, and Ben Ashford in the same location.
00:37:47.480 The Daily Mail has reported that Meghan Markle's estranged father, they have reported her estranged father to the FBI after discovering a stash of child pornography in a storage unit he rented near his former home in Mexico.
00:38:02.540 I mean, I have been telling you, you should not dismiss the allegations against him just because Meghan appears to be a serial liar about all things related to herself.
00:38:12.800 It's very sketchy that the ex-wife wrote this letter back in 2019 and Megan was quick to believe it.
00:38:21.940 And then in 2025, Megan wrote a letter to her father breaking up with him because of it, accusing him of being an actual child molester.
00:38:31.200 and that then the brother comes up with these images,
00:38:34.280 which the Philippine authorities,
00:38:35.480 the Philippine authorities are saying
00:38:37.040 they can see were uploaded in 2014 and 2020
00:38:41.080 before Thomas Markle Sr.'s fallout with his son.
00:38:44.300 So that's all, I don't know what's true.
00:38:46.400 I'm just telling you, these are independent signs
00:38:48.720 that would suggest there's some smoke there.
00:38:51.840 Not to mention the fact that he's an American citizen
00:38:53.940 living in one of the most beautiful places on earth
00:38:55.880 who then moved to Rosarito, Mexico,
00:38:58.420 and the Philippines, not to mention all of his trips
00:39:01.160 to Thailand. It's sketchy. Be honest. Oh, you'll be shocked to learn that Samantha Markle blocked
00:39:08.560 me on X. Guess what commentary likely led to that? I don't have judgments on her weird family.
00:39:16.120 I just report on them. I do have judgments about her half-sister. And if her father is a child
00:39:21.240 molester, I erase my statement about the judgment. I do have judgment. She can block me. It's fine.
00:39:25.920 I do think her father is sketchy as hell.
00:39:28.520 The Daily Mail reports that they discovered this stash of child pornography in a storage unit that Markle rented near his former home in Mexico. 0.98
00:39:38.840 Among the horde, which includes books about pedophilia and magazines showing children being sexually abused,
00:39:45.280 are several loose photographs of naked Asian females who in some cases look conspicuously young.
00:39:51.320 I'm reading here from their report, which just hit at 11.52 p.m. Eastern time.
00:39:57.740 They traveled there to look into his past life.
00:40:00.460 The publication was informed that a storage unit had been rented and abandoned by Markle.
00:40:04.840 OK, that's how they got access to it.
00:40:06.820 Receipts seen by the Daily Mail confirm he rented the 5x10 unit in 2017, six years after he moved to Rosarito 10 miles from the U.S. border.
00:40:15.960 Again, why do you have to go 10 miles from the U.S. border when you could just stay in America?
00:40:22.960 Truly.
00:40:24.360 Our reporter was granted access to the unit after Markle, who the Daily Mail is told failed to keep up with his lease agreement payments for the past two years.
00:40:36.900 Alongside the stash, which includes magazines published in Asia and depicting child pornography are family mementos, photographs, and letters.
00:40:44.740 The Daily Mail also uncovered 35 millimeter negatives that was also found in the Philippines, by the way, showing apparently random voyeuristic images of children on a beach.
00:40:54.080 This is sick. Other negatives show a woman with her limbs bound or hog tied and being directed by a man during a photo shoot.
00:41:03.640 OK, you recall that he was an award winning lighting director for his career out in Los Angeles.
00:41:09.560 i'm drinking my black rifle coffee to stave off alzheimer's i recommend you do the same it's
00:41:16.900 delicious and it's supposed to be so good for us and it's so good i can drink it without cream
00:41:21.820 normally i drink my coffee with cream i finally managed to kick the sugar but this you can drink
00:41:27.240 without our reporter made the disturbing discovery as police obtained a warrant to investigate
00:41:34.300 child sex images allegedly found in boxes of marco's possessions at his son's home in the
00:41:38.900 Philippines, where he lived after leaving Rosarito in January 2025. Earlier this week, a Filipino
00:41:45.040 official, John Vic Remula, said the former Hollywood Lighting Technician 82 could be a
00:41:49.700 sex offender of the grossest kind. That's in quotes. He added that all signs pointed to the
00:41:54.660 possibility that a serious offense had been committed. That's the Filipino authorities on
00:41:58.200 the record by name about Thomas Markle Sr. The investigation was launched into her father after
00:42:03.620 the son alerted authorities. Markle denies wrongdoing. The discovery of the Mexican storage
00:42:08.060 unit three miles from his former home marks another extraordinary development in a case that
00:42:12.000 could see Markle facing 10 to 12 years in jail if charged and convicted. I mean, we're talking
00:42:16.480 about more than that, but he'll die before the full extent of any sentence could be unleashed
00:42:21.600 upon him. Nearly half, but most of the photos found among the 20 storage boxes in the Rosarito
00:42:30.140 unit appear to have been taken when Markle was in his 40s or 50s. That tracks with what we
00:42:35.000 reportedly learned in the Philippines. He was 43 when he and Megan's mother, Doria Raglin,
00:42:39.800 divorced in 87 after eight years of marriage. I continue to have questions about what Doria
00:42:45.720 Raglin knew and when she knew it. Why did only the first wife, Rosalind Loveless, come forward
00:42:53.100 to say she believed this about him? Doria Raglin was with him during the peak of this behavior.
00:42:59.180 All the stories that we've heard about the photographs are, it showed him in his late
00:43:04.280 40s and 50s. That's when she was married to him. She didn't know anything. Why was Megan so quick
00:43:10.360 to believe the allegations when the first wife made them? What did she know? And when did she 0.98
00:43:16.140 know it? And was it even before this alleged letter? I mean, now you could really get
00:43:22.300 conspiratorial and think about his snafu with the paparazzi. And was that set up? Did somebody have
00:43:27.680 a hand in it on Megan's team to intentionally give them a reason to distance her in the press's eyes
00:43:33.800 so she didn't have to out him
00:43:35.780 and she didn't have to do anything
00:43:37.220 about his disgusting crimes.
00:43:38.780 I'm asking.
00:43:39.740 I haven't seen evidence of it,
00:43:41.140 but I can't believe that Doria Raglin had zero clue.
00:43:46.020 Maybe she did.
00:43:46.780 Maybe he was really good at hiding it 0.58
00:43:48.920 when he married the second wife.
00:43:51.880 Still a lot of questions out there.
00:43:54.420 Nearly half of the 31 roughly 10 by 8 inch
00:43:57.400 black and white photos appear to be of the same girl.
00:44:01.580 That's creepy.
00:44:03.100 In one, Thomas Markle, bearded and wearing a polo-style shirt and jeans,
00:44:07.840 poses on the hotel bed alongside of the girl,
00:44:13.520 alongside of the girl while holding a cigarette in his right hand and staring into the camera.
00:44:18.060 I mean, people, look, this is, we're putting the picture on the board right now.
00:44:23.160 The Daily Mail has published these.
00:44:24.940 This is, this is not, okay, I mean, did somebody manipulate an image?
00:44:31.060 do AI to get him in this image and the one that the son says he found out in the Philippines boxes.
00:44:39.160 They write, the girl's expression is more relaxed and smiley. She's wearing a white lacy top,
00:44:43.880 white belt and dark jeans and is clutching a small bag. But in the same hotel room,
00:44:47.940 she is also photographed naked and leaning forward, a necklace with a heart emblem around
00:44:53.300 her neck. Now, I don't know. They're describing her as a girl. I can't tell. Can my team tell me?
00:45:01.720 Can you see whether on that photograph, this is clearly a girl, an underaged girl? We can't tell.
00:45:07.440 I was looking at it from across the studio. Go ahead, Deb. We can't tell. The face is blurred,
00:45:13.360 but the Daily Mail describes her as a girl. 16 more 10 by 8 inch black and white prints show
00:45:19.980 various other naked girls. There is no evidence that Markle had sex with any of them. Elsewhere
00:45:27.060 in the storage unit, more than 50 videotapes with titles such as Boys, Brother and Sister,
00:45:35.240 Russian XX, and Manila Nights. Precisely what is on these tapes is currently unknown. This is
00:45:42.600 fucking dark. Excuse me. A stack of books includes titles such as Forbidden Sexual Behavior and 0.99
00:45:48.560 morality, the intimate sex lives of famous people and the invisible children. He also has the book
00:45:55.100 Victorian Children, which contains photos of naked young girls from that era, young Aphrodite's,
00:46:01.180 which pictures young girls, David Hamilton's private collection with photos of young girls,
00:46:06.320 Hollywood Lolita's. I believe that was a publication that was in the Philippine
00:46:09.360 trove too. There is a soft cover book called La Fairy, again printed in the Far East,
00:46:14.940 which contains naked photos of girls who appear prepubescent. There's also a paper plate with the
00:46:21.780 words dark web scribbled in red ink alongside various URLs. Markle has seven hard drives
00:46:27.860 stripped from computers in the storage unit. There's also an old computer tower with a paper
00:46:33.600 tape to it that reads overheated virus. Also stuck on the tower are instructions on how to run the
00:46:40.220 WinCleaner program, which wipes hard drives of all information along with an activation code.
00:46:45.500 Guess he should have used that. Four computer pen drives are in the unit, along with two digital
00:46:51.100 cameras from the very early 2000s and two cameras designed for use by children. There's also an old
00:46:56.340 Apple computer. It is unknown what remains stored on any of the devices. Markle did not respond to
00:47:01.740 the Daily Mail's several attempts to reach him for comment. Our reporter is told he visited the
00:47:06.060 unit a couple of times a month in the early years after renting it, bringing in items and taking
00:47:11.540 others away. The last time he was seen there was March, 2024, when he renewed the lease for three
00:47:17.160 months. He has not been seen since. His son, Thomas Jr. never visited the unit, nor did other
00:47:23.000 people, according to a source. Merkel is now in a rehab facility in central Florida, where he is
00:47:28.120 recovering after learning to walk again, following the amputation of his leg in the Philippines 11
00:47:32.060 months ago. It goes on and on and on. I should tell you that Dan Wooten is reporting, based on
00:47:39.620 his review of the UK press reports, that there is at least one in which someone close to Megan
00:47:45.540 is reporting she has said she was never a victim of abuse. And that's unconfirmed again, but Dan
00:47:54.900 Wooten is a solid reporter. I don't think he'd be repeating the report if he didn't trust the
00:47:58.940 sourcing on it, that, thank God, I certainly hope that's true. I hope and pray that's true.
00:48:05.340 It's extremely disturbing if this material really was his, and now it's two countries
00:48:11.720 where he lived recently, where troves of child pornography, child sexual abuse material have
00:48:18.100 been found. And this one in a location in which his son had reportedly never visited,
00:48:23.000 only he had and he has reportedly shown himself in photos in both instances with young underage
00:48:30.400 we're told i haven't seen them asian girls he denies it hasn't spoken to this report but he
00:48:35.260 denies ever looking at such material and or being a pedophile um all of it is extremely troubling
00:48:43.160 and i just you know i go back to how could it have been stopped because let me tell you something
00:48:50.800 It appears that if this is true, if these allegations are real, then Thomas Markle is not only somebody who is into child pornography, child sexual abuse material in those images, but is an actual child molester.
00:49:05.360 And if that molesting continued from the day that Meghan Markle and Harry were told about his behavior, they're going to have to find a way to live with that.
00:49:16.420 And if simply, forgive the term, but it is lesser in scope as compared to actually molesting children with your body in person, if his crime is looking at child sexual abuse material, it is just as damaging to children.
00:49:39.000 How do you think you get those materials?
00:49:41.120 How do you think that happens to young children?
00:49:44.920 How do you think those images are made? 0.90
00:49:46.420 by others laying hands on the children, by others abusing them, raping them, and then photographing 0.97
00:49:52.380 it for perverts who want to look at it. And as long as there is a market for it, the actual 0.97
00:49:57.380 molestation will go on, will continue. So those who enjoy these images are just as guilty as the
00:50:04.920 ones who make them and engage in or force children to engage in the images that are so marketable.
00:50:10.640 So if he is guilty of either one of these crimes, looking at the images, never mind actually
00:50:16.200 molesting children. I just, I mean, may God have mercy on his soul and on the souls of Megan and
00:50:23.580 Harry, who by their own admission knew and did nothing, did nothing. Think of what it would be
00:50:33.300 like to live with that as they're now enjoying their holiday at the beach, really looking forward
00:50:39.560 to her stint on MasterChef Junior in Australia. Where is the humanity? We're going to take a quick
00:50:46.920 break and come back with Mike Solana. Don't go away. You might already own a firearm, but what
00:50:52.360 if you could start with less lethal methods to avoid the financial and mental repercussions

00:53:06.640 That's a section on YouTube that you can subscribe to.
00:53:09.380 It's a series that we are calling Megan Kelly reports.
00:53:13.140 The first is an in-depth look back at the Duke lacrosse fake rape scandal, an extraordinary near miscarriage of justice and a story that shaped my entire career as a journalist.
00:53:26.340 It is in particular worth remembering what happened in that case now more than ever.
00:53:33.640 Here's a preview.
00:53:35.960 Rape accusations causing an uproar.
00:53:38.580 Drama at Duke University.
00:53:40.180 It's a scandal involving the lacrosse team. 0.73
00:53:42.520 A woman hired as a stripper claimed she was raped.
00:53:45.420 This hit the media like wildfire.
00:53:48.640 Displaying a sense of entitlement.
00:53:50.240 Extreme privilege.
00:53:51.320 It's not acceptable.
00:53:52.260 It was not only a massive travesty of justice, almost, but it was a massive travesty of journalism.
00:54:01.200 Without proper supervision, others are learning some ugly lessons.
00:54:05.440 We continue with Fox's Megan Kendall.
00:54:07.320 This is the story on which I cut my teeth as a young reporter at Fox News. 0.96
00:54:12.160 Can you imagine what would be the sort of evidence that Nifong has that makes this case so much stronger than it appears? 0.98
00:54:18.520 No.
00:54:19.240 Virtually everyone else in the media rushed to judgment.
00:54:23.340 I know there are a lot of people who want to see these boys be able to go on with their life.
00:54:27.280 But you also have an alleged victim here.
00:54:29.160 Your first concern is that somebody's falsely accused.
00:54:32.060 This was the seminal moment in the media leaning into what we now know as wokeness.
00:54:40.280 When they looked at cases and stories like this one, they got away with it.
00:54:44.960 And they continued to sin ever since.
00:54:48.120 An extremely disturbing rape allegation at Cornell University.
00:54:53.940 You know, I have a daughter.
00:54:56.320 I can't imagine how mad I would be.
00:54:59.220 I think Cornell University has a problem.
00:55:01.740 Here we are 20 years later, and they're still at it.
00:55:10.480 It's amazing.
00:55:11.740 Same cast of characters making the same mistakes over and over.

00:55:38.240 including some we're going to be giving you on Election Day.
00:55:40.720 You don't want to miss that.
00:55:41.480 And the Duke lacrosse case is so relevant now, obviously, because of what we're seeing with the Cornell seven, or as I like to call it, the Cornell eight, since she, too, was accused of molesting one of them.
00:55:52.120 And by the way, have you noticed how this case has completely left the headlines?
00:55:57.340 I'll give you one guess why that is.
00:56:00.780 Why is it no longer everywhere in the media with leaks and little iterations of just the latest fact learned
00:56:08.320 and clamoring to get just one word from Jane Doe or one of the defense lawyers because the story is fake?
00:56:16.900 And the media, while they'll never admit it on camera, knows it.
00:56:21.480 It became uncomfortable for them. It became inconvenient. And so now they have quickly
00:56:27.900 moved on. And Jane Doe, you're on your own now because those media people, they're not actually
00:56:32.260 your friends. They couldn't give a shit about you. Netflix, unfortunately for it, put together 0.98
00:56:38.560 what it calls an Insta documentary, which is downright terrifying because these so-called
00:56:44.780 documentaries that they put together over time where they really put a lot of alleged care and
00:56:50.100 review into them are completely one-sided and not to be trusted. So the Insta documentary is not a
00:56:57.240 good invention. It came out this week. Obviously, they put this together when it was hot and now
00:57:04.020 they've launched it at a time when it's not. So I don't have high hopes for their little Insta
00:57:08.340 piece. But it's going to be just as unfair and unbalanced as the coverage we just highlighted
00:57:15.220 in the Duke fake rape case because they believe that's what their viewers want. They believe
00:57:21.740 that's what audiences want to see. The story about how the evil, privileged Duke, in this
00:57:29.300 case, Cornell defendants definitely gang raped a young woman. And there's really no two ways about
00:57:35.860 it. Joining me now to discuss it, Mike Salana. He is the founder and editor of media company
00:57:41.040 Pirate Wires, as well as the chief marketing officer of the venture capital firm Founders
00:57:46.460 Fund. Mike, welcome back. Great to have you. Thanks for having me, Megan.
00:57:49.700 So let me give you a look at the trailer for the InstaDoc. Let's see what we think.
00:58:00.020 Allegedly, it became unconsensual as more brothers were invited upstairs.
00:58:05.840 The district attorney said criminal charges weren't pursued
00:58:09.600 because the evidence was insufficient to constitute sexual assault. 0.50
00:58:16.360 My first reaction was, how disgusting.
00:58:21.660 This institution was going to fulfill her dream, and instead it became her nightmare.
00:58:26.320 I told Jane Doe, I want to write a story.
00:58:29.560 You never know what is going to ignite something.
00:58:35.040 Our administration can't only be responding now because they're under the pressure of national
00:58:41.460 news. None of us expected it to be like this. Super fair and balanced look. Objective take
00:58:49.540 on the allegations, Mike. Well, listen, I actually watched this thing, the documentary for you this
00:58:54.820 morning and just for you. It would have never been in any other circumstance because five minutes
00:59:00.720 seconds in uh you you knew what was happening in this thing and as someone who i actually sat down
00:59:06.760 immediately the moment the story broke and read every single word that uh was available of jane
00:59:13.000 does herself um as someone who did that and has a kind of i think pretty good sense of the story
00:59:17.980 this thing feels to me actually like pretty malicious it feels pretty much designed to
00:59:24.560 distort the truth i can't imagine that someone watches that thing knowing nothing else about
00:59:28.720 the case and walks away with any kind of accurate understanding of what we're dealing with here.
00:59:35.280 Yes. Here's just one example. This is Amanda Walsh, Deputy Director,
00:59:40.320 Victims' Rights Law Center, SOT 68. We should all hear this case and be horrified.
00:59:48.000 But it doesn't shock me. I think about Emma at Columbia and the performance art.
00:59:55.140 I will be carrying this dorm room mattress with me everywhere I go for as long as I attend the same school as my rapist.
01:00:02.300 I think about Chanel Miller and the case involving Brock Turner at Stanford.
01:00:07.840 Where swimmer Brock Turner was convicted, sexually assaulting a woman while she lay unconscious.
01:00:13.840 Brock Turner was freed after only serving three months of a six-month sentence.
01:00:18.840 Obviously, the Me Too movement had this incredible impact on survivors coming forward and telling their story.
01:00:24.560 and we do take some steps forward but so often the backlash puts us right back to where we started
01:00:30.140 it's unbelievable mike that they would have the nerve to raise the mattress girl as an example
01:00:36.500 she she actually that she that guy who she accused sued the school and won for her for
01:00:44.060 harassment like i don't understand how they yes back on these cases where the the the actual
01:00:49.740 conclusion is the opposite of what they're saying and do things like that it almost i mean it feels
01:00:53.340 I guess I guess it's not quite defamation, but but it is like.
01:00:57.700 No, it is. If I were that guy, I would be suing them for defamation.
01:01:01.300 How dare they present that case as an example of, you know, the poor victim and the system stacked against her.
01:01:08.720 The system wasn't the system has been stacked against the men since the dear friend letter of the Obama administration, which took away men's due process rights.
01:01:17.600 It's nuts. Did you hear the woman? There's the woman. She's like kind of the star of the show, the blonde woman.
01:01:22.500 she's like the narrator through yeah and there's one point where she laments the burden of proof
01:01:27.900 for prosecution she's saying you know like these cases um you know they're sort of hamstrung by
01:01:34.020 by this burden of of proof that you that you have to bring uh to a case and so people are left with
01:01:39.560 these title nine things and i just thought like how dystopian to to raise um to raise a subject
01:01:44.980 like that to introduce a piece of language like that uh you know lamenting the burden of proof
01:01:49.660 you're clearly at that point not interested in justice you're interested in the persecution of
01:01:54.580 men which is i think this much broader and uh i guess difficult to discuss element of this that
01:02:01.680 we see in everything from here to like even kara swisher persecuting big balls uh from doge right
01:02:07.580 it's like there's a misandry yes where youthful men in particular are persecuted we'll get to her
01:02:13.540 next. Sorry to jump in. No, it's fine. There's a bit with Jane Doe's lawyer, the vile, disgusting
01:02:20.820 Thomas Jiffra. And the MK show is featured in this one. Here's Sot67. She thought this institution
01:02:28.760 was going to set her on her path and fulfill her dream. And instead, it became her nightmare.
01:02:33.040 This is probably a first for her. She's probably thrilled to be so admired.
01:02:36.180 You can't revoke consent two years after that. People said a lot of nasty stuff online.
01:02:41.460 Regret over your horrendous behavior is not rape.
01:02:45.440 She's gone through hell for the last two years.
01:02:47.620 The last month has made that far worse.
01:02:50.580 She started getting texts.
01:02:52.540 Then she started getting threats.
01:02:54.340 Her gun's put in her friend's face, her brother's face, her father's face.
01:03:00.260 It's scary.
01:03:03.180 So, of course, it's deceptively edited because they're talking about,
01:03:07.240 I'm talking about how Jane Doe willingly said yes to at least that first threesome by her own
01:03:14.220 admission and was totally game for it and was indeed almost certainly enjoying being admired
01:03:20.620 by the two men, both of whom she said she loved after the act. But of course, this is deceptive
01:03:28.160 and disgusting the way they have this manipulated. And it's very unfortunate that Jane Doe is
01:03:32.640 receiving threats uh less mentioned the threats against all of the men who unlike jane doe do not
01:03:38.760 have their anonymity as this case plays out not even them men who share the name of some of the
01:03:45.140 people uh in in that group of course the cornell seven you remember the free press reporting about
01:03:49.740 uh about the dude who just shared the name as one of the guys like this is a much this is much
01:03:54.040 broader than even the cornell seven it's a complete mass hysteria uh that is maybe not in
01:03:58.720 the news right now, but ongoing, even on that campus. Yeah, 100 percent. Now they they make
01:04:04.700 the you know, one of the main voices in the piece, the vile Kathy Hochul, who rather than 1.00
01:04:11.360 taking her responsibility as a governor of a state in which this trial will take place if it is 1.00
01:04:15.940 brought and maintaining even a semblance of objectivity so that she doesn't poison the jury 0.98
01:04:22.700 pool, doubles and triples down on the nonsense she did at that press conference. Here she is 0.99
01:04:27.700 in SOT 66. My first reaction was how disgusting. Not again. It's like not again. It's not new. 0.98
01:04:37.140 It's been going on a long time. The culture has just never changed. In this case, the scale of
01:04:43.420 this, the number of people involved and the repugnancy of her allegations would have drawn
01:04:50.040 you to the local police department fairly quickly. Campus police, technically they are deputized by
01:04:56.760 the local police to function as a policing organization on a campus. But one can very
01:05:01.820 quickly see that there could be a conflict because you're also protecting the reputation of
01:05:07.780 your boss, the university. But in a situation like this, you want to make sure that people
01:05:12.900 believe in the process. Listen, what did the campus police do here? They took Jane Dose for
01:05:20.320 a store and statement. That clip, I wrote that. I wanted to talk about that moment of the
01:05:26.260 documentary because the documentary i guess the interviewer he follows up with her she says you
01:05:32.060 know you can see how there could be a conflict of interest um with the campus police protecting
01:05:36.120 uh really the campus the the filmmaker says um do you think that's what is happening here and
01:05:43.140 she actually says no i have no evidence of that i i wrote it down because i thought i thought this
01:05:48.320 is the this is actually this is fascinating this is the only honest moment of the entire documentary
01:05:52.680 And then they just move on. They just move on. Like, she's straight up in that moment saying she doesn't even believe the thing that she's saying. And there's not like a let's double click on that. Let's see. Like, what do you mean? There's no evidence. Like, how do you think about maybe saying something publicly that there's no evidence for? Like, there are follow up questions, presumably you would want to ask as a journalist.
01:06:15.160 It's such a great point. And it's like they also try to lionize the two campus newspaper reporters who outed the names of the defendants.
01:06:27.900 I mean, Jane Doe and that disgusting Thomas Jiffra are the ones who outed their names.
01:06:32.180 She filed anonymously, but she named all of them. 1.00
01:06:35.000 and oh and by the way then only one defendant um well only one defendant moved to have tish james 0.99
01:06:43.720 removed from this case because of her biased comments they had a hearing on that yesterday
01:06:47.520 and the judge said i can't really entertain this unless all the defendants join in this and so now
01:06:53.380 this one defendant has had to go back to say to the other guys can you all join me and try to get
01:06:56.520 tish james out of it which is just so like it's very frustrating how these guys are not they don't
01:07:00.660 work together. But meanwhile, Jane Doe's got like, she's got complete discipline through this guy,
01:07:05.440 her disgusting lawyer, and like trying to get what she wants. I just think it's very wrong.
01:07:09.840 And I also think it's crazy how all seven of them refuse to object to the unearthing of Jane Doe's
01:07:16.500 name. So the judge said she can stay anonymous in the civil proceeding because the defendants
01:07:21.860 said they're fine with her staying anonymous, which is what they're doing to try to seem like
01:07:26.200 nice guys. But it undermines their entire theory of the case, which is she's not a victim. We're
01:07:34.020 the victims. So I really have to tell you, I think these defendants are being poorly served
01:07:39.440 by their lawyers. But that's a big tangent off of the lionization of the reporters of the Cornell
01:07:46.980 Daily Sun, the editor-in-chief and the senior editor who are in this piece. I'll play their
01:07:51.940 soundbite and then I'll give it to you. Mike, stand by, SOT 65. It was so graphic and it was
01:07:58.120 just really important for me to personify these individuals. And so we decided to list the names
01:08:05.900 of the civil defendants. There was no hesitation within the editorial team. We just wanted to make
01:08:11.880 sure that people knew that these were individuals who had been in their classes that they could
01:08:16.720 have possibly known but none of us expected it to be like this there was this decision the newspaper
01:08:23.420 made to print the names of the accused men we need your process we can't just ruin people's
01:08:28.960 lives based on allegations still a case where they are innocent they haven't been charged we did not
01:08:34.260 want to sugarcoat anything we didn't want to omit details we wanted to provide the community with as
01:08:41.560 much transparency as we wish we had from the university. Oh, so transparent. I don't remember
01:08:49.200 reading Jane Doe's real name in their report. I mean, it's just super evil. I don't know. It's
01:08:54.620 super evil behavior. I think it's pretty obviously evil behavior. The purpose is just to persecute
01:08:58.640 these people. It's not to serve any kind of justice. And I don't know. I think it's going
01:09:03.800 to continue until there's some kind of consequences. Fortunately, it's a little adjacent
01:09:08.840 topic you have this uh mit scientist david uh sabatini i don't know if you followed this story
01:09:13.600 at all yes you know he just had this yes we're working on a deep dive on that case right so he
01:09:17.620 just had we just published a an interview with him um over at pirate wires and it's like it's
01:09:22.180 really shocking um what he went through but the the sort of i guess silver lining here after having
01:09:29.020 his whole life ruined for a false accusation of rape is he sued the woman and won six million
01:09:34.800 dollars and it was a jury awarded and uh and rejected all of her counterclaims so i think
01:09:39.340 that we there is i mean you're the you have much more legal knowledge here than i do hope maybe i'm
01:09:45.020 just being naive but do you think that we're approaching maybe a world where where there
01:09:49.700 could be some kind of consequences for you know false accusations and then i don't even i don't
01:09:54.840 know what you would do here in the case of the cornell paper uh releasing their names but but
01:10:00.360 more generally do you think i mean they can do it and the media is allowed to release the names
01:10:06.240 and the media is allowed to release her name but i'll tell you something like i would have been
01:10:11.240 much more inclined to do it if the defendants in the case said we want it done instead they're like
01:10:17.720 it's fine for her to stay anonymous so like why the hell should the rest of us take the risk of
01:10:21.940 outing her when they're like no don't do it like what is that what they don't they don't want it
01:10:26.560 outed and she doesn't want it outed. OK, then I guess we're not going to out it. That's you're
01:10:31.280 going to have to find your balls if you actually want to be the person you say you are, which is 1.00
01:10:36.660 a victim of her made up lies. There should be a countersuit. They should be countersuing her for 1.00
01:10:42.800 defamation. I think it's got to be just impossible if you're that young. You know, you your whole
01:10:52.160 family is being attacked everyone you love is being attacked you didn't do this thing but you're
01:10:57.860 being told you know say nothing do nothing just stay out of the press don't make this worse um i
01:11:04.220 think back to another person in the documentary they mentioned was brock turner um you know not
01:11:09.100 to get too means there but uh i will say that i'm very skeptical of the official story um that
01:11:15.480 or semi-official story that most people believe there to this day and a big part of i think the
01:11:20.780 confusion in that case is brock himself i went looking for interview i couldn't find him doing
01:11:25.740 any interviews i didn't see him standing up like begging for people to listen to the real truth or
01:11:31.140 whatever i don't even know where he is to this day i can't i was trying to find him i would have
01:11:34.860 loved to have done um a retrospective on that case i i don't i think that you have to it's hard
01:11:42.320 from their perspective because they're not super online and they don't have a platform but you have
01:11:47.360 to fight back for your, for your own story, which is why actually my heart kind of is
01:11:52.560 open a bit for, I don't know if you saw the Elizabeth Holmes documentary again, I don't
01:11:55.500 want to get too leads here, but a big part of that is like, you know, Billy, her fiance
01:12:00.440 is kind of crazy.
01:12:01.300 He's tweeting from on her behalf and, you know, he's online saying crazy things. 1.00
01:12:06.340 And I think you can attack being stupid online, but the impulse to build your own, to want 0.99
01:12:12.180 to build your own platform um even if you have to be crazy to get attention to do so i think is 0.98
01:12:18.440 correct in the age of the internet otherwise someone else is going to control your story
01:12:22.460 and you in their story are the villain of that story so it just can't turn out well for you 0.98
01:12:28.540 you have to you have to stand up and like you said grow a pair of balls i just there's no other way 0.93
01:12:33.280 yeah i think i i saw the elizabeth holmes documentary and i have to say i i am did not 0.96
01:12:39.700 walk away with as harsh a take on Billy as so many others. I think he was intentionally painted
01:12:45.040 the villain by the filmmaker. He's, you know, eccentric for sure. I mean, you know, I don't
01:12:51.580 think most men would want you doing full frontal nudity of them while they were taking a shower.
01:12:56.620 Obviously he feels pretty good about his body and doesn't have that thing that most people have,
01:13:00.600 even if they feel good about their bodies, they don't want it seen in a movie theater.
01:13:03.080 but in any event i actually net net i actually think that he is a caretaker of elizabeth
01:13:08.960 who seems to lack a certain set of executive management skills and like people are horrified
01:13:16.500 that she was beating the eggs and he took the eggs away from her i think he's like the primary
01:13:20.840 caretaker in the relationship and some of us women cannot cook and would be delighted to have somebody
01:13:27.220 take the eggs away from us while we were we are beating them and do not see that as a control 0.98
01:13:31.760 mechanism so much as we suck at this and maybe we live with somebody who doesn't. Like, I just
01:13:36.540 think they were far too hard on him. And I think Elizabeth had agency in the whole Theranos, you
01:13:42.980 know, fraud. I really do. But like, I also think she had the book thrown at her in a way so many
01:13:50.200 others who did exactly the same thing didn't. And I do think it's kind of bullshit. And I'll tell 0.99
01:13:54.920 you something else that's bullshit. Why is Carlos Watson, who committed a mega fraud, he's been on 0.99
01:14:00.340 the show. I've been on his show when he was launching it. He's a black entrepreneur who
01:14:04.200 launched an independent media company after he left MSNBC. Why did he get a get out of jail
01:14:11.820 free pass? And Elizabeth Holmes is still sitting her ass in jail. Like she allegedly defrauded a 1.00
01:14:18.820 bunch of these sophisticated investors like Rupert Murdoch. Like he didn't know how to evaluate her
01:14:23.900 claims around her company. Please. He absolutely knew. He knew better than she did. And yet Carlos
01:14:30.140 Watson did not have to serve any of the 10 year jail sentence that was handed down on him because
01:14:36.000 he had a lawyer go in there and beg Trump to basically give him a pass. So he's out. He didn't
01:14:40.600 spend one day in jail, but she's in there for 11 years while she got two little kids growing up 1.00
01:14:45.040 without her at home. I think it's bullshit. I think Elizabeth Holmes should get either pardoned 1.00
01:14:49.460 or the what's the lighter thing where you don't get the full like it doesn't get it's you don't 1.00
01:14:55.120 get exonerated but they let you out uh she should have it commutation her sentence should be commuted
01:15:01.860 she should be let out of jail i do think the book was thrown against her unfairly in a way that was
01:15:07.540 too harsh compared to others in her field and their behavior it's because she was this and
01:15:13.700 again i agree with you i mean she definitely it seems to me she committed she defrauded her
01:15:17.940 investors partly i don't care like i care it's illegal you have to go to prison but yeah right
01:15:23.400 investor check this is yes but like your job as an investor i care much less about that than i do
01:15:30.540 the patient stuff which she wasn't even accused of um defrauding defrauding customers uh right
01:15:36.300 or hurting is to is to look at this company and decide what is and is not real now she she did
01:15:42.820 lie whatever she went in but the sentence seems i did a little research it seems like it's like
01:15:48.140 two to three times more than the average person for similar crimes receives i think that she was
01:15:53.520 very obviously a witch who was burned uh largely by two groups of people by people in silicon valley
01:16:00.200 and by the media now i think the media's role there they're doing it because they helped build
01:16:05.700 her up and they helped turn her into the hero that she was because she was a female self-made
01:16:11.140 billionaire and back in the 20 teens that was a huge very very exciting story that the press really
01:16:17.220 wanted to tell uh largely as a foil for the sort of like too many men in tech uh situation so they
01:16:23.180 have to kind of do double they have to do double teams it's so true they don't that they're like
01:16:27.820 not on the side of this bad person meanwhile you have silicon valley people who i think are pointing
01:16:33.160 to elizabeth at that time and saying we're not evil like the press says this woman is is really
01:16:39.200 really bad she's a unique outlier get her she should go to prison forever i remember watching
01:16:44.240 people who i knew back then go after her thinking like listen i'm sure she did i i think that she
01:16:51.000 committed a crime but i my heart is always kind of there for witches who are clearly being
01:16:56.180 persecuted by a mob um yes and like for other mike look at look at all the news that we've had
01:17:02.080 about um you know for example facebook over the past few years and and mark zuckerberg and
01:17:08.180 instagram how they've been actively trying to get girls hooked to social media which is very
01:17:13.680 damaging to them and they knew it and they they were dishonest about it publicly and it took a
01:17:19.060 whistleblower to come out and really reveal the full extent. He didn't go to jail for misrepresentation
01:17:24.360 for consumer fraud. No prosecution was ever brought against him. And I mean, I'm not saying
01:17:29.200 it should have been, but I'm just saying you could make a case there if you really wanted to go after
01:17:32.640 him. And that one had real victims that had kids like teenagers killing themselves. There's not
01:17:38.680 even an allegation of that in the Theranos case. She was guilty of puffery around her product and
01:17:44.540 yes, actual lying around its capabilities. And she has paid an enormous price for it. She's been
01:17:49.940 publicly disgraced. The company is no longer, although they say in the documentary, she has
01:17:53.680 dreams of starting it up again. And now she's served a few years away from an infant daughter
01:17:59.020 and a baby son to a toddler son. It's like, it's time. We've made our point. She is not some,
01:18:06.300 you know, nefarious criminal mastermind who killed somebody. It's time to let her out of jail. The 0.97
01:18:12.360 president should commute her sentence. Yeah, but pathology, or not the pathologization, 0.90
01:18:15.600 like kind of though, it's kind of the pathologization of her because they're sort of
01:18:18.560 trying to, in the documentary, raise the question of like, is there something different about her? 0.91
01:18:23.640 Something that makes her like uniquely evil, this insidious liar. And I think, and by the way, 0.87
01:18:28.620 I think the documentary was brilliant for a lot of reasons that we could talk. Yeah, it was
01:18:32.400 fascinating but this um this piece of it i think that the treatment of her the scary music the
01:18:38.020 question of like whether or not her mind is just very very different than the average person all
01:18:43.060 of this is huge neurodivergent right but like all of this is used partly she leans into it but but i
01:18:49.020 think mostly it's it's a justification for the audience to say she's different than us and like
01:18:56.580 she she really deserves this she is different she's like extra nefarious like this question of
01:19:01.140 Is she just the ultimate manipulator? 1.00
01:19:03.260 She's not that good at manipulating people
01:19:04.960 and neither is Billy.
01:19:06.020 We all, every single time she is portrayed anywhere,
01:19:10.980 the question is like, is this woman lying to us? 0.99
01:19:13.260 That's not a good manipulator. 1.00
01:19:14.440 Someone who like you cause every question,
01:19:16.520 like anytime you see her or Billy, 0.99
01:19:18.460 it's like, damn, I don't really trust these people. 0.98
01:19:20.900 That to me, this is not someone who's gonna have to learn. 0.98
01:19:22.880 That's so funny.
01:19:23.760 Like at all. 0.98
01:19:24.680 That to me is someone who makes for a good witch 0.94
01:19:27.360 to be burned is what that person looks like to me. 0.87
01:19:29.940 that is a great great point mike all right back to um speaking of witches kara swisher oh yeah
01:19:37.460 oh my god we've talked about her before you and i now she is out there she wants all right she
01:19:46.900 wants elon musk to begin with thrown in jail but she's now gone beyond elon but let's just start
01:19:52.140 with the soundbite about Elon, which comes from October 19th, SOT64. Under Kamala Harris, he might
01:20:00.640 be in jail right now, right? He is correct. And that's not because she's some avenging fury. It's
01:20:06.900 because there's a lot of questions around different companies of his. If Donald Trump loses the House
01:20:12.540 and the Senate, I would worry, I'd be worried if I were him, you know, no matter how rich he is.
01:20:17.640 There were all these agencies, some of which he put a knife in and killed in the doge, many of
01:20:21.720 whom were investigating him, he stopped like a half a dozen investigations of his various
01:20:26.280 companies. So they're going to start investigating again. You think he's not on the list? He's at
01:20:30.080 the top of that list. Donald Trump obviously is at the top in his family, but Elon Musk is right
01:20:34.880 up there for that. And you have to, he knows what's coming. Like he's not stupid. Like of
01:20:41.180 all the many things you can say about him is he has a very big sense of fate. And I think
01:20:48.420 it's coming for him and real hard. Okay. So there she is with her little red cape
01:20:55.060 in front of the would-be Democrat congressional majority. And we'll play the big balls edition 1.00
01:21:01.940 that she just said on October 29th, 63. They could just pick a few people. To me,
01:21:08.820 that's the way you go. You pick like a Hegseth, a Musk, and I don't know, big balls, someone like 0.98
01:21:13.900 that, like pick someone like that and then, you know, show what they did. Right. And rather than 0.92
01:21:20.060 go for Trump, go for everybody, make it so broad that it'll exhaust people who just do want to move
01:21:25.120 on. It's a lovely group of people there that this is what they're giving us their plan before they
01:21:31.020 win. I mean, I appreciate it that way. Keep going. You go. I mean, they've been saying it for years.
01:21:36.960 It's just as intensified and intensified. I mean, we get the easy one to talk about, I think,
01:21:41.260 would be Elon. It's really horrifying. The purpose, obviously, to go after someone so prominent,
01:21:48.160 so wealthy, who has done so much, it's very much like what the CCP did to Jack Ma,
01:21:52.400 the billionaire in China who was vanished by the government. This was a person who was perceived
01:21:56.520 by the one party as too powerful. And so a statement had to be made about him. Who was
01:22:04.940 in charge? It was the government. I think the Democratic Party in this case is operating very
01:22:08.560 similarly but i the big balls thing is actually the one that really bothers me because this kid
01:22:16.080 uh he was 19 i think when he joined doge he was yeah i've interviewed him um i interviewed him
01:22:23.280 after he was brutally attacked while trying to protect his girlfriend from a mob of 10 people
01:22:28.100 in dc there's this uh image of him super bloody on the side of the road he's actually a really
01:22:34.040 good person he has um wisdom in an interesting way uh he talked about i was i interviewed him
01:22:40.540 once i asked him about all the attention he was receiving and he was like i think he said something
01:22:44.380 to the lines of uh attention is a wave and you know it'll it'll pass over you oh my god i don't
01:22:50.040 feel that way jesus all good for him exhibit these kind of traits um he entered the government to do
01:22:57.440 because he told me in this very like in a way that resonated with me because i could remember
01:23:02.700 myself being young and thinking about the world this way, he just wanted to do the good thing
01:23:07.040 and serve his country and be a good person. These are the kinds of things that he talks about.
01:23:11.540 So why go after, I mean, why go after someone? Like, why make him the center of your hate
01:23:17.300 campaign? And she's talked about him for years. Two years ago, I think, around was the first time
01:23:22.680 that her and Scott Galloway, one of her podcast hosts, the other is now Hillary Clinton.
01:23:28.780 Hillary Clinton.
01:23:29.800 Right. So this is a very well connected, by the way, politically well connected woman. So what she says matters. But she's been going after balls for a while. And I'm sitting here thinking, you know, there has to be a reason for this. Like, why this kid? What is it about him specifically that makes you so mad? 1.00
01:23:47.440 I really think it is something similar to the Cornell 7 case in that there is a certain kind 0.99
01:23:54.540 of person in this country who tends to work in media, who tends to be an angry old woman like
01:24:00.180 Kara Swisher, who is a hardcore feminist type person, hardcore dem, who is really activated by 0.78
01:24:06.400 any kind of depiction of youthful male energy. This guy's name is Big Balls. I'm sure as a guy 0.57
01:24:14.360 myself. I can imagine how that actually happened. He's not out there calling himself big balls.
01:24:18.240 He's like the little brother of his group of friends who have given him this funny, 0.98
01:24:23.080 super hyper masculine name as a term of endearment. But she doesn't hear that.
01:24:26.840 She's looking at him as like a little punk, a little frat boy, the kind of man who,
01:24:31.480 when she was young, made her feel small. And so she wants to punish him. And by extension,
01:24:37.560 what the Democrats have been saying openly, I mean, we just had that senator who was talking 0.89
01:24:41.420 about this the goal in going alissa slotkin yes the goal in going after people like big balls a
01:24:47.760 young you know at this point i think he's 20 years old a young 20 year old man who just wanted to
01:24:53.060 work for the government is to terrify young people away from the republicans forever uh all of the
01:24:58.480 democrats were very very alarmed by the spike in young male support for republicans in the last
01:25:04.240 election if that becomes a trend it's super super dangerous for them and they need to frighten
01:25:08.900 everybody they're going to try and frighten tech industry people uh via going after elon this is
01:25:13.820 the whole point they can never have another billionaire uh powerful tech person go all in
01:25:18.320 for a republican again they have to nip that in the bud and young men those are like the two
01:25:23.260 classes of people they're trying to terrify um by going after these people and elon i don't like to
01:25:28.760 see that i'm going to defend him throughout this whole process uh but he i believe he can take care
01:25:33.540 of himself. I worry about Edward Korstein, which is the real name of Paul's. I really do worry
01:25:39.460 about it. Yes. Edward, he is 20 years old. He was one of Doge's earliest hires. He's now working
01:25:45.580 with the National Design Studio on the administration's revamped America.gov,
01:25:50.000 which is not some evil thing. It is an AI-powered single point of entry for information drawn from
01:25:56.540 thousands of government websites. So to make people who have to deal with the federal government
01:26:00.160 on some benefit or application.
01:26:02.540 No one looks forward to doing that
01:26:03.860 to make their user experience a little easier for them.
01:26:06.400 That's what he's working on now.
01:26:07.500 This is the villain she wants locked up.
01:26:09.780 Yes, they just unveiled it.
01:26:10.820 I went to their unveiling ceremony.
01:26:12.480 It was a big, beautiful event in D.C.
01:26:14.660 And his work is great.
01:26:16.820 And that's what he's been doing for over a year.
01:26:18.460 He's been just trying to make government websites
01:26:20.980 more efficient for America.
01:26:23.160 That has been his focus.
01:26:25.820 With Joe Gebbia, who's running the program. 0.64
01:26:27.940 That's sick.
01:26:28.700 Yeah.
01:26:28.860 He's not he's not even at 21. He can't even legally legally have a drink. And Kara Swisher, with all her millions, is talking about putting him in jail. She is despicable. God, just when you think she can't get any grosser, she she gets there. Here's another one. She's here. Hold on a second. This is her in another exchange with the bulwark. Yeah, it's just oh, this is just the bulwark. Listen to this on on Elon.
01:26:55.820 shot 64b. However mad you are about Elon Musk, it's not enough. And he's the one I want. And I
01:27:03.120 want being hauled before Congress to be just the start because this guy has a body count 1.00
01:27:08.320 like a fucking war criminal. We start with the U.S. Congress and it ends at the fucking hague 1.00
01:27:16.100 for elon musk hey you got a trillion dollars great you start spending it on lawyers because 0.98
01:27:26.140 justice is coming they're carving up jurisdictions for who is gonna ask him sorry ask him subpoena
01:27:35.460 him to testify before which of them for what get a townhouse big guy got a lot of nice brownstones 1.00
01:27:44.580 right there on capitol hill elon you motherfucker you better pack a lunch 1.00
01:27:49.580 because your ass is going to be living in the capitol starting january of 2027 1.00
01:27:56.740 oh my god the this the delusions of grandeur these people have like he they're like a barnacle 1.00
01:28:06.540 on the ass of something elon swatted with a fly swatter at some point this is like 0.97
01:28:11.300 i've never even heard of this person i had to ask steve in the break who is that somebody named 0.93
01:28:16.440 jonathan last never never heard of him uh threatening elon is super they're so tough mike
01:28:22.140 we're coming for you i'm sure elon's terrified i mean they're selling this to their audience
01:28:27.520 right like this is there's so much money i would say this is so much adjacent it's similar very
01:28:33.200 similar to the cara thing i think cara actually has a lot of well maybe they both have a lot of
01:28:36.920 influence i mean but carib to me feels more of a these guys are just playing they're playing to
01:28:43.080 this super trump deranged audience for whom news is consumed the way that i to be quite frank
01:28:50.620 consume the real housewives of uh salt lake city like they follow it in that way they follow these
01:28:56.740 characters um in an almost fictional way and they feel like personally connected to them and so elon
01:29:02.800 is this guy who just i mean he makes them feel small there's something there's a kind of man
01:29:08.700 who who i think has a has a problem with the success of other men um because of how it makes
01:29:16.960 them feel um and this is definitely like a super toxic version of that in part but but again the
01:29:23.600 other part is just like their audience for their audience elon is i mean he's the super villain
01:29:28.160 And why is that? It's because I'm like, I mean, Trump's going to be gone in two years and that's that. But Elon, Elon, not only does he say he's going to do things, he does a bunch of things like he is extremely effective at whatever he does.
01:29:42.780 And so if he's effective and he is right of center and you're a liberal, I can see how you can easily create a fantasy in your mind of like, this is your this is your this is your big bad. But yeah, certainly they're going to go.
01:29:55.100 that the actual okay but listen to this just just today i just tweeted this out this is what elon
01:30:00.180 is doing among i mean obviously elon saved free speech by restoring honest conversation to the in
01:30:06.960 the public square when he bought twitter now x four years ago we just hit the anniversary
01:30:11.160 everything has changed the entire debate about trans this trans that the procedures the sports
01:30:18.680 completely changed thanks to him buying twitter that's just one example secondly that this is
01:30:23.920 I mean, I saw him at the all in summit a couple of years ago.
01:30:27.860 I had sent him a note saying, hey, let's do an interview.
01:30:29.920 He's like, oh, I can't.
01:30:30.640 I'm busy this afternoon.
01:30:31.880 Like, OK, another time.
01:30:33.400 I went out.
01:30:34.080 I gave my interview with the all in guys.
01:30:35.380 Then Elon went on the stage and he was talking and they're interviewing him.
01:30:38.660 And he's like, I got to run.
01:30:39.440 I have a rocket launch.
01:30:40.840 OK, so like that is the best excuse that he was ever had for blowing me off for an interview.
01:30:44.880 Like who double books on the day they're launching a rocket?
01:30:48.100 The fact that he was even at the all in summit.
01:30:50.560 And by the way, there without any entourage, like he has absolutely no heirs in that department
01:30:57.320 whatsoever. He had a bodyguard. That was it. It was like he didn't have 10 assistants. He didn't
01:31:00.960 have 10 producers, just Elon. So today there's news about Neuralink, another one of his companies
01:31:08.140 that is changing the world. We haven't even talked about the electric cars or anything like
01:31:11.860 Starlink that's helping Ukraine and so on. Now let's get to Neuralink. Today there was news in
01:31:18.380 Neuralink. He said, first, our first product is called telepathy. It enables high speed
01:31:24.760 communication with computers or humans simply by thinking. Output bandwidth will vastly exceed the
01:31:32.940 fastest human speech or typing in a few years. Read that sentence again. Output bandwidth will
01:31:38.640 vastly exceed the fastest human speech or typing in a few years. In other words, the people who
01:31:44.380 cannot move, who are quadriplegics, and cannot speak, will be able to communicate faster with
01:31:51.960 their brains thanks to the Neuralink technology than speaking, moving human beings are able to.
01:31:57.640 And they're already doing it. We've seen the videotapes of where they hook up these electrodes
01:32:01.840 to people's heads, and they think the words, and the words appear on the computer. And that's not
01:32:09.380 all, he writes, our second product is called Blind Sight. And it will, as the name suggests,
01:32:16.400 enable even those who are completely blind or have never seen to see. It is ready from an
01:32:24.460 engineering standpoint, just waiting on regulatory approval. He is going to literally restore sight
01:32:30.580 to the blind and restore communication. And I bet you eventually movement to the immobile
01:32:38.540 and mute it's and this is the man they've so villainized who they want locked up rather than
01:32:45.520 getting on their knees and thanking god that such a man moved to america became an american
01:32:50.100 wants to make all of his companies and use all of the american workforce to build these products
01:32:56.440 here they want him behind bars yeah i mean it's just like the democrats to demonize a talented
01:33:01.780 african-american is it not i i think there's something exactly the fact that i think it's
01:33:10.860 important that he's done all these things the fact that they are targeting not the worst of us
01:33:15.340 but the best of us is i think that that i think that's the whole story in in a way it's it's not
01:33:23.120 even about i think it's just if they can if they can look at him and and see someone worthy of
01:33:30.780 being what put in prison which is what is being requested right now um they can do it to anyone
01:33:37.040 and then on that question though i mean if you just look we're in a scary place right now i
01:33:41.900 think in america if you look at all the people who've talked about this stuff whether it's elon
01:33:45.720 or balls or one of the other adjacent people um there's never been even a single charge they never
01:33:54.380 like he needs to be put in jail for x y and z yeah right like it's never that they don't right
01:34:01.540 what did he do we don't care it's it is crazy to see them say it just out loud and i don't know i
01:34:08.780 mean to be fair i mean i really do think there's been lawfare on both sides and i think even in a
01:34:15.080 case like ilan omar who it's like she it seems to me that she's broken the law it seems that she's
01:34:20.700 committed immigration fraud. But I do think just the culture of maybe going after people because 0.86
01:34:26.320 they're political enemies. I mean, that is it's hard to see that as, you know, as as not.
01:34:32.420 OK, but you can't have a non-citizen serving in the U.S. Congress like that. It doesn't matter 1.00
01:34:39.420 what the motives are like. She's not allowed constitutionally to serve if she's not a valid 1.00
01:34:45.140 U.S. citizen. Yes, definitely. I wonder if the prosecution would have, I think this is not a 1.00
01:34:55.820 prosecution yet. I wonder if the investigation would have taken place were she not a political
01:35:01.320 sort of enemy? No, no, Mike, here's where you're wrong. She was saved by partisanship. The news
01:35:09.720 this week was that Barack Obama's DOJ opened up an investigation into that sham of a marriage she
01:35:15.520 had to her brother and then walked away because, well, we don't know exactly why, but we believe
01:35:21.020 it's because the statute of limitations had expired after the marriage. She married him in 2009 and
01:35:26.380 they were looking at it during, I think it was, it was well outside of the five-year statute of
01:35:30.840 limitations. I think it was 16, it was 2016, which is too late. And so it was her, it was the
01:35:37.860 partisanship that saved her because the very next year in 2017, she divorced the brother and
01:35:44.460 certified under penalties of perjury that she was unable to reach him, which we now know was a lie,
01:35:50.160 which is a felony. The Trump administration was dealing with trying to govern and failed to look
01:35:56.200 into things like that, but they didn't really do much with her. And then the Biden administration
01:36:00.660 took a look at it and they walked away too, we believe for partisan political reasons. It's only
01:36:04.820 now that Trump, apparently there are multiple felonies that they're looking into that she's
01:36:09.300 committed along these lines. And we'll see whether she committed those or not. But the bottom line is
01:36:13.600 if she really isn't an American citizen, either because she didn't have the right to seek refugee
01:36:18.120 status in the beginning, to begin with, the dad was a warlord who shouldn't have been given the
01:36:22.600 citizenship. Hers was derivative. She was too old to receive it. I don't know what the argument would
01:36:27.680 be. She cannot sit in the U S Congress. Yeah. I mean, regardless, I mean, I'm down. My, my struggle 0.98
01:36:35.160 with this is that I can't stand her. So I want to be careful that I'm not, um, that way. I really
01:36:40.000 hate her. And I, I'll give you, I'll give you a different one. I'll give you a different one. I 0.93
01:36:44.140 don't think you should don't, don't build your house on the Alana Omar case. Cause that one's
01:36:47.620 just like both many administrations have looked there is there, there, and this woman is a hot 1.00
01:36:53.180 mess, I think, of illegality. But I will grant you that if you look at like what's being done 0.99
01:36:57.820 to James Comey, it's absolutely targeted based on his criticism of Donald Trump and how partisan
01:37:06.220 he is. Okay, which you can understand based on the treatment of Trump during the Biden
01:37:10.540 administration. You're like, okay, that was horrifying. It seemed like what, like I, in my
01:37:15.020 lifetime, I've never seen that degree of law fair. It's what super, super radicalized me
01:37:19.300 against the biden minister i didn't really care that much when biden uh became in fact i mean
01:37:24.120 you know what full disclosure an exclusive i voted for biden it's one of the great regrets of my life
01:37:29.500 um i uh i was totally radicalized by his treatment of not just trump but the people around him and
01:37:39.320 that clearly began the lawfare cycle but now we are in this dark dance where what the democrats
01:37:44.640 are promising is far worse than what they did under the last Democrats.
01:37:50.680 Yes, now you're talking about civilians.
01:37:52.140 Yes, across the board, young, random people.
01:37:54.260 They're going to go after everybody that they can.
01:37:57.100 Well, not everybody, everybody that they can.
01:37:58.280 It will be a small number, but it will be, it will be, it will be, they specifically
01:38:02.380 want not people like Trump, though I'm sure they'll go after him as well.
01:38:06.500 It's, it's, I don't know how we kind of move on as a country like that, because if they're
01:38:10.100 doing that at this point i mean i feel myself wanting similar things to happen to kara swisher
01:38:15.560 for example like i want her all of her friends to be targeted right like you feel that's a human
01:38:20.380 reaction when someone is doing something um just so uh egregiously immoral um but i don't want to
01:38:28.580 i don't want to be that way because uh to be that person well i don't want that for our country
01:38:33.180 I don't know how we survived this. It's just like, when did we become our biggest enemies we consider to be other people who are American now? And that is just a really scary place to be as a country.
01:38:49.200 Yeah. People who are on the opposite side of you politically. It's like we've gotten to this place
01:38:53.560 where we're no longer friends with people who don't share our party ID. We don't talk to people
01:38:57.920 who don't share our party ID. And then it's really easy to demonize them like that. Even like a young
01:39:02.860 kid, like threaten them as Alyssa Slotkin did, or as Kara Swisher did, as opposed to just say,
01:39:07.920 what do you mean? No, like, okay, we have political differences. That's fine. You know, I felt
01:39:12.700 strongly that after what was done to Trump with the law fair, and not just Trump, but all of his
01:39:17.120 top emissaries. There's so many of them got harassed, not to mention his family. We did need
01:39:21.240 a couple on Team Blue to be hauled in there. Not fake crimes, but if they'd committed crimes,
01:39:27.120 you know, the willingness to look the other way should evaporate so that they felt the pain
01:39:30.360 and would never do this again. Because I definitely think they would do it again if not.
01:39:35.780 But like it's gotten out of control now. And I think like Trump should stop doing it and the
01:39:41.200 Democrats should leave civilians alone. Don't touch big balls. Do not touch the balls. 0.99
01:39:50.020 That's the takeaway. Mike, it's so fun talking to you. Please come back again soon. 0.99
01:39:54.000 Thanks so much for having me. Bye bye.
01:39:55.940 All right. See you soon. Mike Solano. What a great guy. We're going to have a bit more for
01:39:59.420 you right after this. Our sponsor, the Electronic Payments Coalition, says Washington politicians
01:40:04.560 are always getting in your wallet and now they're messing with your credit card. They say your
01:40:09.560 credit card and the security it offers are under attack and that Senators Dick Durbin and Roger
01:40:14.580 Marshall want to change the nation's payment system to benefit corporate megastores like
01:40:18.920 Walmart and Target at the expense of everyday Americans. Credit cards can keep your payments
01:40:24.320 secure and provide rewards that families use to help make everyday purchases more affordable.
01:40:29.700 The Electronic Payments Coalition says the Durbin-Marshall mandates would let corporate
01:40:33.960 megastores cut corners on credit card processing, routing transactions over cheaper, untested

01:42:17.900 Hey, everyone. It's me, Megan Kelly. I've got some exciting news.
01:42:23.660 I now have my very own channel on Sirius XM.
01:42:27.120 It's called the Megan Kelly Channel, and it is where you will hear the truth, unfiltered, with no agenda and no apologies.
01:42:33.260 Along with the Megan Kelly Show, you're going to hear from people like Mark Halperin, Link Lauren, Maureen Callahan, Emily Jashinsky, Jesse Kelly, Real Clear Politics, and many more.
01:42:42.200 It's bold, no BS news, only on the Megyn Kelly channel, Sirius XM 111, and on the Sirius XM app.
01:42:53.580 A few other items we have to get to today, including the Russell Brand trial,
01:42:58.440 what happened in the Halle Berry temporary restraining order, mini trial that we've been
01:43:03.220 following, and a couple of other items, including this one. There is a video that has gone completely
01:43:10.360 viral online. And it involves, it's out of Michigan, a young man approaching another man
01:43:17.740 who is older than he is, but not an old guy. He looks like he's maybe in his young forties,
01:43:22.360 if that. So the young man approaches the other man who clearly works for Red Baron Pizza. He
01:43:30.020 delivers pizzas to grocery stores, you know, like frozen pizzas for sale. And the younger man
01:43:36.480 pulls a prank on him where he gets the older man to hold his phone and the young man puts his phone
01:43:42.660 up to it and it makes a sound as though he's just managed to make an Apple Pay transfer from
01:43:48.920 the older man's phone onto his phone. And he says something like, thanks for the $10 or the $20.
01:43:54.880 And he's trying to scare him that he just has been robbed thanks to an Apple Pay sort of feature
01:44:00.460 between the phones. It did not go as planned, it appears. I do not have any reason to believe that
01:44:06.760 this was a setup of any kind. You never know with these things because I've covered enough of them
01:44:10.600 that have turned out to be a setup, but there are absolutely no reports that this was a setup.
01:44:14.480 There are plenty of reports that this was an actual prankster who's got a lot of such pranks
01:44:19.060 on his social media, which he's now shut down, but that he has been in the habit of doing these
01:44:24.940 so-called pranks. But he tried to do the prank on the wrong person. All we know is that the
01:44:30.500 subject of this prank is named Walt Z. He wants to remain anonymous, even though he's now become
01:44:37.080 very famous as a result of his video going viral. And the reason his video went viral
01:44:41.900 is because of how he reacted and the very good-hearted nature of the American people.
01:44:49.860 Watch.
01:44:51.240 Hey, excuse me. You know what time it is, bro?
01:44:54.940 Thank you, bro. I just took $10
01:45:02.940 I need I need I'm not this crap right now apple play dude. You hear me 0.62
01:45:12.380 I just need to buy some real quick though. You think this is fine. Don't you let you record it right now?
01:45:16.980 You should record me right now. No, I'm a Rayburn. I'm gonna report you
01:45:21.820 Bye boss
01:45:23.820 Thank you for the $20, man.
01:45:25.620 I appreciate it.
01:45:26.640 Let's go outside, buddy.
01:45:28.240 Are you for real, bro?
01:45:29.200 It is not that deep. 1.00
01:45:30.200 Oh, dude, I will destroy you. 0.99
01:45:31.040 It is not that deep. 0.95
01:45:31.780 I mean, if you really want to go outside.
01:45:32.880 I don't know if you're recording me or not.
01:45:33.820 I don't know what's going on.
01:45:34.860 But I don't need this for now.
01:45:36.280 It's not that deep, man.
01:45:37.380 It's just a joke. 1.00
01:45:37.840 You're just a little punk-ass little bitch. 1.00
01:45:39.060 It was just a joke, bro. 1.00
01:45:39.980 It was just a joke.
01:45:41.020 It was just a joke.
01:45:42.040 No, it's not a joke to me, okay? 0.99
01:45:43.680 I don't have time for this crap in my life. 0.97
01:45:45.240 My life is hard enough as it is. 0.99
01:45:47.100 Okay? 0.99
01:45:47.320 I don't need this crap. 0.99
01:45:48.200 I got kids at home that went to bed without me right now. 0.99
01:45:51.320 And I was supposed to be at home an hour ago.
01:45:53.440 And I'm still out here working.
01:45:55.540 And I got to get up at 5 in the morning and do 10 more stores.
01:45:59.320 So this is not a joke to me.
01:46:01.660 And now I'm probably going to get kicked out of the store because of you.
01:46:06.560 Not funny.
01:46:07.880 Okay, I'm sorry, man.
01:46:09.440 No, you're not funny.
01:46:10.560 You got a smoked look on your face.
01:46:12.560 I'm sorry, man.
01:46:13.300 I'm sorry.
01:46:14.060 I don't need this in my life.
01:46:15.880 No, I get you.
01:46:16.760 No, you don't.
01:46:17.720 You're probably making money off this. 1.00
01:46:19.660 I can't even pay my goddamn mortgage. 0.99
01:46:22.180 And I got four kids at home. 0.99
01:46:24.480 Okay.
01:46:24.860 So not funny.
01:46:26.320 Come on.
01:46:27.600 I got you.
01:46:28.360 I'm going to leave.
01:46:29.060 I'm going to leave.
01:46:29.720 You, yes, leave.
01:46:30.600 You better not be out there when I do leave.
01:46:33.080 Leave, go, now.
01:46:36.620 Wow.
01:46:38.540 It's incredibly moving.
01:46:40.080 It's, you can feel his pain.
01:46:41.960 It's, like, upsetting to see how he's struggling.
01:46:45.060 And you can hear he's at a breaking point. You know, he's just had it. He's had it. And I really think that a lot of people are struggling that way right now. You know, the reason that the economy is the number one issue for so many Americans, people who voted for President Trump and feel disappointed in him and people who voted against him, is because it's, well, President Trump says it's great.
01:47:12.720 People aren't feeling that on a personal level. They are stuck with sky high inflation left over from the Biden administration. They can't afford home mortgages. We can't lower interest rates because that's not something you do when there's high inflation. They can't get loans.
01:47:30.700 They have high credit cards with double digit interest rates on them and they're using them to pay bills. Forget college. That's entirely out of their price range and ultimately won't wind up increasing most kids' chances of getting a better job anyway in today's day and age.
01:47:48.740 They're being threatened with entire sectors of the workforce being wiped out by AI, something to which Americans have never willingly agreed, something we've not voted for.
01:48:01.220 And so many Americans are struggling just to make it to the next pay period.
01:48:07.200 I know a lot of them.
01:48:09.520 And you could feel it bubble over for Walt there.
01:48:13.800 The piece of it that I personally could relate to, and I think many people can, is the frustration
01:48:18.620 when you've got to do your job and your kids have gone to bed an hour ago.
01:48:24.540 Once again, they're not going to see you because you've got to be out doing a job that you
01:48:28.740 agreed to do.
01:48:30.180 And look, when I was having those feelings young in my years at Fox, I had means.
01:48:34.960 I still had a wonderful job that I was very grateful for.
01:48:38.140 Imagine doing it, and I'm sure a lot of you don't have to imagine.
01:48:41.300 you are doing it, when you really don't have money, you have no choice. You may not quit that
01:48:46.400 job. You may not, because everything will fall through the cracks. You won't be able to put
01:48:51.660 food on the table for those children if you make it home in time to tuck them in. So you sacrifice
01:48:57.780 it. So your spouse or someone else, a caregiver, has to tuck your children in and read them their
01:49:04.260 books, and you know you're missing it. And you get all these wellness messages online about how
01:49:09.740 important it is to be there. And it's like, you can't wait, but you can't be there. You don't
01:49:14.180 understand. Both parents have to work or we can't pay the bills. We can't feed the children. We can't
01:49:18.940 pay the mortgage. Stop, stop with the luxury beliefs of how I'm supposed to be having, you
01:49:24.980 know, Jasmine in my tea and having these like sweet, relaxing evenings at home with the family
01:49:29.860 playing board games. I have to work. I need a paycheck. We don't eat if I'm not out late
01:49:35.960 delivering Red Baron. So you can feel his pain as his anger goes up. Not funny, not funny.
01:49:44.940 He's not able to laugh about it. I've got four kids. I can't pay my mortgage. I'm probably going
01:49:51.380 to get kicked out of here because of you. And the ultimate, my life is hard enough.
01:49:58.300 My life is hard enough. I don't need this right now. You know, the place that you get,
01:50:04.820 where you can't have one more straw placed on your own camel's back. You can't. You feel like
01:50:13.940 you're at a breaking point. You can't be messed with. You don't have a sense of humor. People
01:50:18.280 can't kid around with you. You're at your breaking point. You've held it together. The stresses of
01:50:24.580 financial pressure, work pressure, people being nasty to you pressure, missing your kids pressure,
01:50:30.780 bill payment pressure, all of it, you've held it together, but just one additional straw on the back
01:50:37.340 feels like it could break you. I just feel like a lot of people can relate to Walt Z.
01:50:43.500 And the reason I know that they can is because someone started a GoFundMe for him.
01:50:51.740 I just love Americans so much. And the GoFundMe for Walt Z is up to $510,000.
01:51:02.100 It's just so amazing how generous people are to help others who are in need. This is regular
01:51:06.580 people, you know, like people are donating 20 bucks or five bucks. Then you get some big donations
01:51:10.860 in there too. But people who can't afford it are paying to help Walt Z because they can't stand to
01:51:17.360 see him suffer and because it says something about us as a people and about us as individuals
01:51:21.940 to help a guy like that. He came out with a statement, reads in part as follows.
01:51:29.440 I wanted to take a moment to personally thank everyone who's donated, shared this fundraiser
01:51:33.460 or left a kind message. The kindness and encouragement you've shown me and my family
01:51:37.040 have meant more than I can put into words. My family and I are doing well. I'm grateful to
01:51:42.040 have supportive people around me. I've been keeping things private to protect my family's privacy
01:51:46.000 and I appreciate everyone respecting that. It goes on and on about not wanting to do an interview
01:51:52.740 exactly. Please know that if I haven't responded to your message or comment, your support has made
01:51:57.740 a difference from me and my family. Thank you. Ah, it's a wonderful story. If history is any
01:52:05.740 guide, it will now come out that Walt is a repeat felon who, just kidding. Well, sort of following
01:52:16.320 enough of these news cycles. But listen, today's a great day. I love Walt Z. And I too am a
01:52:24.380 contributor to, and I encourage everybody to do it until the other shoe drops, at least we can feel
01:52:29.280 good about how wonderful we are and how we like to help our fellow Americans in need. Okay. I want
01:52:35.160 to keep going. There is an update in the Holly Berry case and how we've been talking about this,
01:52:42.300 oh gosh, you know, this temporary restraining order that her ex, Olivier Martinez, who she
01:52:50.420 starred with in this shark movie, he was the star of Unfaithful with Diane Ladd, Holly Berry,
01:52:56.580 everybody knows. They got married. They had a child, a little boy named Maceo, who's now 13.
01:53:02.300 She has an older daughter, who I think is 18, from her first marriage, which also ended in divorce and badly,
01:53:07.740 with that ex fighting Olivier Martinez in a knockdown dragout that left them both bloody, and one of them arrested.
01:53:16.460 It was just, she's not ending her relationships well, that's clear.
01:53:20.100 Then Olivier and she break up, and she had shared custody of Maceo with Olivier. 0.99
01:53:26.440 Olivier was at her house a few weeks ago, and he accused her of trying to strangle him, of putting her hands around his throat and attacking him because he wouldn't remove his virtual reality headset, and she felt disrespected and called him a black bitch or called the ex-husband a white bitch. 0.99
01:53:48.280 Like, what are you going to do as a black man to protect a black woman from a white bitch, which is what she called her ex, allegedly, Olivier, whom she is supporting with child support every month? 0.98
01:54:01.060 Obviously, she's the greater earner as between the two of them, and she seems very resentful that she has to pay any child support. 0.99
01:54:07.260 Looks like not alimony, but child support of the son.
01:54:11.420 I mean, hey, it's California.
01:54:12.800 This is the way it goes.
01:54:13.660 and this has ended in disaster
01:54:17.320 with the two of them openly fighting
01:54:19.480 in front of him, et cetera
01:54:20.440 and Maceo asked to be picked up by his father
01:54:23.380 Olivier came and got him
01:54:24.720 things went from bad to worse
01:54:26.600 now Olivier is seeking a temporary restraining order
01:54:29.380 keeping her away from him
01:54:30.720 he claims she's been violent in the past
01:54:32.520 and the son
01:54:33.620 the son gave testimony for four hours
01:54:36.280 at a closed door hearing in front of a judge
01:54:38.320 Holly Berry put up her live-in lover
01:54:42.420 who she's seeing now, who was there when the incident took place, who claimed it wasn't as
01:54:46.980 Maceo was claiming, witness testimony, et cetera, et cetera. And finally, we now have a ruling.
01:54:52.840 The ruling is that she lost her physical custody of her child. And she's only going to get him to
01:55:00.420 get to see him now occasionally on the weekends. And is it, can you check my information team? Is
01:55:06.820 it with court supervision when that happens? My team's going to double check me on that because
01:55:11.360 I want to say that that's not true. She was granted still legal custody of Maceo, meaning
01:55:19.540 she still has the majority share of the decision making around his health care, his schooling,
01:55:25.640 et cetera. But this was a loss for Halle Berry. Make no mistake about it. It was a bad loss. She
01:55:32.040 did not want this temporary restraining order to be entered. And she certainly did not want to lose
01:55:36.320 any of her physical custody over Maceo, but she has. And then, because she definitely appears
01:55:45.400 unstable, we've been talking about her pattern on this show for a while with the overtly sexual 0.99
01:55:50.420 messaging, her desperate need at age 60 for you to see her as a sex kitten who's having lots of 0.99
01:55:55.980 sex, she wants you to know, with lots of lube, and you can get it too, and like all the weird 0.98
01:56:00.980 in-bed photos and saucy lingerie videos that aren't sexy. And Halle Berry can be sexy, but 0.99
01:56:07.780 she's, I guess, forgotten how to do it. She just seems incredibly needy and damaged 1.00
01:56:12.460 in these videos, which we've been pointing out for a while.
01:56:16.820 So Halle Berry, having suffered this loss inside the courtroom, decides to come out yesterday.
01:56:24.380 And if you read the write-ups of her loss, clearly her lawyers are spinning, spinning,
01:56:30.160 spinning like tops, trying to paint it as a win because of the legal custody thing?
01:56:36.880 Like, oh, we're so grateful to the judge for seeing through it.
01:56:39.620 Wait, she lost the custody battle.
01:56:41.960 The physical custody is what this whole thing was over.
01:56:45.600 And she's been relegated now to a very limited physical presence in her son's life.
01:56:51.400 This is not a win for her at all. 1.00
01:56:54.760 But look what she did when she exited the courtroom yesterday. 0.87
01:57:00.160 Allie, you got a smile on your face.
01:57:02.160 Are you happy with the outcome?
01:57:04.160 What's your reaction to the decision?
01:57:06.160 Do you feel like the ruling was fair?
01:57:10.160 Are you happy that this is finally over with?
01:57:16.160 You don't have to see me anymore, so that's probably giving you another smile, right?
01:57:21.160 Is there anything you want the public to know about your situation?
01:57:25.160 She's smiling ear to ear, ear to ear.
01:57:29.160 what do you how do you plan
01:57:31.320 so that is a very very bizarre way to act i understand spin trust me i do i'm in media i've
01:57:53.940 been you know people have attempted to spin me more times than i can count this is just bizarre
01:57:59.160 something's wrong with Halle Berry. I don't know what it is, but the like jokers smile,
01:58:06.860 like the devilish, I, I've, I'm victorious. I win in the end is what she's trying to project
01:58:14.100 with the ear to ear thing. And it went on. I mean that we showed you just a brief clip
01:58:17.600 of it there. But like, if you were to watch this whole thing, it went on and on and on.
01:58:23.900 and this was no victory for her. 0.97
01:58:26.900 She needs therapy. 0.98
01:58:28.240 This person needs to get in with a good therapist
01:58:31.300 and have long heart-to-hearts about how this happened
01:58:35.020 and how she can do better as a mother
01:58:37.740 and how she can stop a pattern 1.00
01:58:39.960 where she's got men fighting, her fighting,
01:58:46.460 fierce physical battles happening in her home
01:58:49.640 with her minor child, et cetera.
01:58:51.420 Um, TMZ describes it this way, that Olivier Martinez was awarded primary physical custody
01:58:58.840 of Maceo.
01:59:00.300 Barry lost overnight visits with him.
01:59:03.520 A representative for the actress told the site, Holly Berry still retains joint legal
01:59:07.300 custody and also holds the tiebreaker vote should she and Martinez struggle to reach
01:59:11.860 an agreement. 0.99
01:59:12.280 Uh, previously Martinez and she had 50, 50 custody over Maceo. Um, and, and, and now
01:59:21.400 Olivier Martinez was awarded primary physical custody. So that's what the child wanted and
01:59:28.280 she objected and lost. I wish them all luck. I think Holly Berry in particular is going to need
01:59:34.580 it. Okay. I want to keep going. Russell Brand, his trial continued today. It's wrapping up.
01:59:40.780 Remember, we told it was going to be eight or nine weeks by the prosecutor.
01:59:43.120 No, it's not.
01:59:44.120 It's wrapping up.
01:59:45.620 And we had closing arguments begin by the prosecution.
01:59:50.160 Russell's lawyer did not yet go.
01:59:51.480 We expect his lawyer to go on Monday.
01:59:54.100 And that's an interesting call to let the weekend come with the jurors just having the
01:59:59.560 prosecution's argument marinate.
02:00:01.880 I totally understand it as a defense lawyer, because you want to do your best with a man's
02:00:07.220 freedom in your hands. And having the weekend to prepare your closing is such a luxury. They will
02:00:13.760 get no sleep over the next two days. So I get it. But there's also the risk of, you know, that's two
02:00:21.940 days that this is going to marinate in the minds of those jurors, just the prosecutor's words and
02:00:26.760 most negative interpretation of all the evidence. So in any event, that's what's happening because
02:00:32.080 the prosecution has gone and the defense will go on Monday. Here is what happened today.
02:00:41.120 They introduced that Russell had a cannabis conviction. Okay. I mean, this is ridiculous.
02:00:45.980 He pleaded guilty in 1995 to possession of cannabis and received a fine. No other convictions. 0.66
02:00:51.800 Great. It's so weird. The judge gave the instructions to the jury, and I've got to
02:00:57.320 just tell you a couple of words about the instructions. They're so bizarre to me as
02:01:00.240 an American lawyer. I've never seen things like this, but here's a couple. First, the judge
02:01:06.400 addressed inconsistencies in some of the accounts, saying that they should not simply conclude that
02:01:13.920 a complainant's evidence is untrue because they've given a different account to someone else.
02:01:20.920 He tells them experience has shown that inconsistencies in accounts sometimes happen
02:01:25.660 whether a person is telling the truth or not.
02:01:28.520 That's so weird.
02:01:29.920 I mean, I'm used to the jury instruction
02:01:32.440 that's basically falsus in one,
02:01:35.220 I can't remember the Latin,
02:01:36.740 falsus in unum, falsus in toto, I can't remember.
02:01:39.700 But it's basically,
02:01:40.460 if you find that a witness has lied in one instance,
02:01:42.840 you are free to conclude that she is a liar,
02:01:45.300 that she lies in all instances
02:01:46.680 and hold her lie against her.
02:01:48.360 Here, this judge is like,
02:01:49.460 if you find inconsistencies in accounts,
02:01:51.260 you can't conclude that the person is lying
02:01:55.140 lying just because they gave a different account to somebody else. What? I mean, that's a very
02:01:58.900 helpful instruction to the prosecution here because the inconsistencies in accounts are all
02:02:04.640 on the part of his accusers who were not alleging rape, who often said in the one woman accusing him 0.99
02:02:12.400 of oral rape, she said he tried to get me a blowjob to give him a blowjob. He tried to get 0.99
02:02:17.800 me to give him one oral sex over the years, and I didn't. Then she switched it after she saw this 0.99
02:02:22.760 Channel 4 so-called documentary in 2023 to, no, I actually didn't. It was forced on me.
02:02:28.560 Okay, so the prosecution got that instruction. But then listen to this. He talks about Russell
02:02:34.640 Brand's good character evidence. He says his effective good character is not a defense to
02:02:40.300 the charges he faces, but you should take it into account in two ways. First, a person who has no
02:02:44.820 significant previous convictions is more likely to be truthful. So when you examine the defendant's
02:02:50.480 account and evidence, you should keep that in mind. Second, you should bear in mind that someone
02:02:54.920 who has never been in serious trouble is less likely to commit a serious offense than someone
02:02:59.300 who has been in trouble before. It is flagged to the jury that Brand did not tell the police.
02:03:04.420 So that was all good for Russell Brand. Then there's this. He flags to the jury that Brand
02:03:08.720 did not tell the police the accounts he now relies on in respect to the three rape allegations
02:03:14.080 and that they are told that part of their job is to assess his reasoning for not mentioning further facts in his interviews.
02:03:23.120 This is all, we would never have such an instruction here in America.
02:03:26.580 Anything you say or don't say cannot be used against you in a court of law.
02:03:31.280 You're not required to speak with investigators when they sit you down here in America.
02:03:34.100 And if you choose to, it's for, and you don't give the whole story, it's for your prosecutor to get up there and tell the jury,
02:03:43.100 He only told half the story.
02:03:44.520 He's lying.
02:03:45.320 Now he's got all these detailed denials.
02:03:47.140 But when we first sat down with him, he couldn't remember anything.
02:03:49.380 It's weird that the judge is instructing this.
02:03:51.740 The judge says these failures to set out his case may harm his defense if you conclude that he failed to mention these facts in interview because he did not have an answer at the time.
02:04:03.820 Okay.
02:04:04.520 The prosecution gets up to give its closing.
02:04:06.280 Riel Carmi-Jones, chief prosecutor, tells the court this case brings together six different women, none of whom knows each other.
02:04:16.880 She says none of them has sought the limelight or any kind of publicity.
02:04:21.260 She says there is no benefit to them except perhaps some closure.
02:04:24.740 She urges the jury, listen to their accounts.
02:04:27.140 How many said he was nice?
02:04:30.140 Then there was a personality change, a pivot.
02:04:33.640 His eyes changed.
02:04:34.840 He snapped from charming to frightening to nasty, she adds.
02:04:39.640 She says the women have told the court he didn't listen when I said no.
02:04:42.740 He didn't listen.
02:04:43.520 He didn't care, adding in the rape cases, he just kept on going until he achieved his 0.96
02:04:48.720 ultimate aim and ejaculated.
02:04:51.280 She says all of the alleged victims have since moved on with their lives, but due to this
02:04:55.360 trial, they've been forced to relive what has happened to them and describe the most
02:04:59.660 intimate details to the court.
02:05:01.180 There were themes that business about the eyes was brought out by more than one witness about how something in his look changed, about how, you know, he seemed almost not there or angry and would not listen to their alleged protestations of no.
02:05:17.300 She says, the defense described what she terms the evil documentary of 2023, that it caused them to recast memories of what was in fact happy consensual fun.
02:05:33.760 The prosecutor says this is not true.
02:05:35.820 Instead saying the documentary was a uniting factor, meaning the women have realized they're not alone and have bravely come before you to tell the truth.
02:05:42.800 She added, could a documentary or an article in the Times cause them to completely reinvent what happened in this way? 0.83
02:05:50.360 Cause them to say, I want to come to Southwark Crown Court.
02:05:53.740 I want to be cross-examined about all of this.
02:05:56.180 I want to expose these very intimate details.
02:05:59.240 There is no magic force in this documentary, she told the jury.
02:06:03.900 She turned to Laura Brand, who by all accounts was very charming on the stand and is seemingly a very charming woman.
02:06:11.420 She testified openly about how she met Russell
02:06:13.720 back in, I think, 2006.
02:06:15.440 They dated.
02:06:16.560 They were together for a while.
02:06:18.020 He was not faithful to her.
02:06:20.960 She did not want to be in a non-exclusive relationship.
02:06:23.320 They broke up.
02:06:23.940 She said they stayed close over the years
02:06:25.800 and then got back together, got married,
02:06:28.140 are extremely close now, have three children together,
02:06:30.340 and she does believe he's a changed man.
02:06:32.720 There was an argument between Laura and the prosecutor
02:06:34.860 about how close she did stay to Russell over the years.
02:06:37.540 She maintained pretty close.
02:06:38.980 the prosecutor basically said, no, you weren't. He was banging half of Britain and you had no
02:06:44.960 idea what was going on or what kind of person he was then. The prosecution told the court,
02:06:51.280 Brand may now be a completely different person to the man he was between 1999 and 2009.
02:06:57.780 And then she turned to Laura Brand, whom she calls his undoubtedly lovely wife.
02:07:03.080 She says Ms. Brand bravely gave evidence, but also notes that she was not with him at the time of the
02:07:08.420 majority of alleged acts that are said to have taken place, she added any contact was, I believe,
02:07:16.080 sparse. She compares the alleged victim's status to that of Ms. Brand, saying they were, quote,
02:07:22.840 a very different category of woman, and they included, quote, lowly employees or just girls 1.00
02:07:30.200 in the audience. This is very clever, very clever sleight of hand, but this is not a debate over
02:07:36.860 who had more economic power.
02:07:39.340 This is a debate about whether consent was given.
02:07:42.520 And these were not girls who were underage,
02:07:46.000 though, as we've discussed,
02:07:47.060 there was one of those in that documentary, quote unquote.
02:07:50.100 These were fully grown adults.
02:07:52.680 And in the case of the first alleged rape,
02:07:55.060 one who had several years over Russell.
02:07:57.200 She was older, she was more sophisticated. 1.00
02:07:59.560 She had accused others of rape.
02:08:01.360 And if anything, she was in the catbird seat
02:08:04.260 in terms of life experience over Russell. 1.00
02:08:06.860 Um, girls in the, the, the girl in the audience that she's referring to was the girl who the first thing she did when she got into Russell's dressing room was drop down and start, forgive me, licking his anus. 0.97
02:08:19.920 So forgive me if I'm not looking at her as a doe-eyed ingenue who has absolutely no self-power of determination and will. 0.95
02:08:29.080 This is what she's going with, though. 0.97
02:08:31.080 Lowly employees or just girls in the audience. 0.96
02:08:35.200 The prosecution returned to complain at one. 0.99
02:08:37.800 That's the one who alleged vaginal rape.
02:08:40.020 She invited Russell back to her place, her hotel room, after midnight, after having just
02:08:44.540 met him.
02:08:45.540 She claims she thought he was gay and she felt safe around him.
02:08:48.460 He came out.
02:08:49.280 She came out of the bathroom.
02:08:50.360 He had his shirt off.
02:08:51.760 The next thing she says, she knew he was on top of her on the bed, pulling her pants down.
02:08:55.900 They never got completely removed. 0.51
02:08:57.680 They only made it down to her ankles.
02:08:59.160 Her shoes were still on. 0.97
02:09:00.120 and she says he raped her and ultimately climaxed, and she was horrified. He denies it. He says he 0.94
02:09:07.620 gave her his email. He says he told her he wanted her to meet his mom who was in town
02:09:11.560 and that there was absolutely consent. The prosecutor tells the jury during that week
02:09:19.160 when he was performing in a satirical sketch show, sex to him that week was more important
02:09:23.660 than the show. She says when he got back to that hotel room, it became the Russell Brand show.
02:09:30.760 She went to the loo.
02:09:31.880 He took off his clothes.
02:09:33.060 He began prancing around the room, ostrich-like.
02:09:35.680 She felt uncomfortable.
02:09:37.320 She was scared.
02:09:38.020 She didn't know what was going to happen next.
02:09:40.160 She didn't want him to kiss her, lizard-like.
02:09:42.680 That's what the alleged victim said. 0.95
02:09:45.140 His tongue was like a lizard.
02:09:46.880 I didn't want it on me. 0.64
02:09:48.620 But he didn't stop. 0.96
02:09:50.560 Ms. Carmi Jones accused Brand of gaslighting her 0.99
02:09:53.400 by leaving his hotmail address 0.91
02:09:55.820 or what she says he purported to be his email.
02:09:59.800 Listing the woman's achievements to the court, the prosecution asks, 0.98
02:10:03.180 is that woman some sort of lunatic who would make this up now? 0.95
02:10:07.120 Let me tell you something. 1.00
02:10:08.220 Women of all sorts of achievement, financial and otherwise, lie. 1.00
02:10:14.920 A lot of them. 1.00
02:10:15.920 High, low, smart, dumb, accomplished, and not. 0.98
02:10:21.480 That has nothing to do with it, whether she would lie. 0.82
02:10:24.500 And by the way, the accusation in part has been that she met him at a political leftist event.
02:10:31.300 He was performing, but it was around a party for the Labour Party in Great Britain and since then became a hard righty in the eyes of most Brits.
02:10:39.840 And yeah, there are a lot of people, Christine Blasey Ford comes to mind, who might make up what seem like fake allegations against somebody whose politics they now disagree with.
02:10:50.460 She asks if this woman sounds like the kind of woman who would make up the allegation after watching this dispatches documentary before flagging to the jury that the complainant still has not watched the entire program.
02:11:05.420 The defendant could not really remember anything when he was interviewed, she pointed out, in stark contrast to now when he suddenly seems to remember all sorts of details about the week.
02:11:15.300 She adds that Brand has constructed his defense around evidence provided by others in this case, describing it as, quote, a lot of half-truths but spun into lies.
02:11:26.640 He's definitely getting burned over the fact that when he first sat with police, he said he didn't remember any of these women, and he couldn't remember any details.
02:11:35.920 And then he said, when he took the stand, I went back, I listened to their testimonials.
02:11:39.800 I mean, that is plausible.
02:11:41.700 Now you see them on camera, talking or in person, whatever.
02:11:45.400 Yeah, that might rejigger your memory as to your experience with them.
02:11:49.320 The police are pointing out to you what their names are, and they found them in your address
02:11:52.420 book with these not-complementary monikers next to them, little initials like AP for
02:11:58.400 like anal playmate or something, whatever it was, the one gal, or T for Tart.
02:12:04.060 He says that, and going back to some of the sites where the alleged acts happened, rejiggered 0.99
02:12:08.580 his memory, the prosecutor here calling bullshit. 0.74
02:12:12.540 She returned to complain at two, the one who said he grabbed her arm. 0.56
02:12:15.580 That's what this number two is about. 0.95
02:12:17.640 She claims now she thought to drag her into a bathroom to rape her all these years beforehand. 0.96
02:12:23.040 She'd been saying he wanted to have consensual sex with me, but I turned him down. 0.99
02:12:26.220 I got away from him.
02:12:27.560 Earlier in the trial, that woman told the court the exchange lasted around 20 seconds, maybe less. 0.99
02:12:31.380 Miss Carmi Jones tells the jury to imagine that tussle and pauses her closing argument for 20 seconds,
02:12:39.220 leaving the courtroom in silence for that time. 0.80
02:12:41.680 Oh, please. As if this woman, a quarter of a century later, actually remembers that it was 20 seconds. 0.96
02:12:50.140 We're going to treat that like it was real. And the struggle's going on.
02:12:54.500 I don't believe one word of that. This complainant two, you are bullshit. 1.00
02:12:59.880 This is bullshit. The drama around an arm grab. I mean, this is come on. 1.00
02:13:06.680 Um, Complainer 3, this is the one who for years said he tried to get me to give him a blowjob in a bathroom and now it's morphed into he forced me to do that. 0.93
02:13:20.460 The prosecutor says the defense has presented Complainer 3 as a jealous woman, spurned, resentful of the beautiful women from Babe Station. 0.52
02:13:30.880 We have been told we're at a bar in Camden that Bran and the alleged victim headed to afterward.
02:13:34.900 Because don't forget, she says after she had this hideous rape in which he ejaculated in her mouth and she was so disgusted, she got into a car with him and went to a second location together.
02:13:44.640 Okay, like she was so disgusted and afraid of him, she got into a locked box with him, transported to another location. 0.84
02:13:52.220 And the allegation is that there were a lot of beautiful women there and she became jealous.
02:13:56.660 She questions this characterization the prosecutor does when the complainant says there was no consensual activity between them at all.
02:14:04.620 meaning why would she be jealous? She'd just been raped. This wasn't about jealousy of other 0.61
02:14:07.960 women. She returned to complainant four. This is a woman who alleged he came up to her in a bar, 0.82
02:14:16.820 grabbed her face, and started kissing her and fondling her breasts. She says on the complainant's
02:14:22.240 previous estimation of Brandt's height being around 5'10", because remember the defense was
02:14:27.240 like, you don't even know if this was Russell Brandt. You have no idea who did this to you.
02:14:32.280 And she said that there were other witnesses who were part of Brand's team who did nothing.
02:14:35.780 They didn't intervene.
02:14:37.120 This is one of the points used against her.
02:14:38.800 If it was so bad, why didn't anybody intervene?
02:14:40.500 Clearly, if anything happened at all, it was mild.
02:14:43.280 And was it really Russell Brand?
02:14:45.040 She testified, I know it was Russell Brand.
02:14:46.660 He was quite famous.
02:14:47.640 He was starring on the show that Big Brother, we all watched.
02:14:51.840 I knew who Russell Brand was.
02:14:53.820 The prosecutor says on her misestimation, she said Brand she thought was 5'10", and in fact, he's 6'2".
02:15:01.360 She asked the court if the complainant was meant to say, can I take out a tape measure and check your height?
02:15:07.040 She says the alleged victim reported the alleged sexual assault to police in November 2023,
02:15:11.800 because after watching five to 10 minutes of the so-called documentary and reading an article about it,
02:15:18.120 she was disgusted and sensed and angry.
02:15:20.340 She said the fact that she reported it after the coverage doesn't mean it's fabricated.
02:15:24.180 She pointed out that she had nothing to gain from reporting it as she is self-employed and being here costs her money.
02:15:32.040 Okay, there are all sorts of reasons why women claim they've been sexually assaulted when in fact they haven't. 0.96
02:15:38.140 There is a status that comes in the mind of some, especially leftist women, in being a victim.
02:15:45.340 There are also some who mean to harm somebody who doesn't share their politics.
02:15:48.620 There are women who re-imagine an event as more nefarious than it was once for whatever reason they get turned off by the man.
02:15:56.180 It's not to say that all women are fake accusers, but the ones who are have all sorts of reasons why they do it.
02:16:02.500 She said the complainant was a perfect stranger to Brand and was pounced upon in her place of work with no opportunity to consent.
02:16:10.980 Okay, then they continued, hold on, with the prosecutor telling the jury that woman five, who is the one who alleged an anal rape, she's the one who met him after his show, went right backstage. 0.67
02:16:29.840 Another woman was already fellating him, so she dropped down to her knees and started doing the same on the back door within 10 seconds of meeting him. 0.62
02:16:39.060 Then on another date, date in quotes, he invited her over. 0.87
02:16:43.040 She came over. 0.99
02:16:44.200 She confesses that she willingly had vaginal sex with him. 1.00
02:16:47.560 He flipped her over. 1.00
02:16:48.960 He went through the back door.
02:16:51.140 She did not appreciate that, she claims.
02:16:52.900 She alleges she said no.
02:16:55.160 There was testimony that she had originally said, I'm not going to bring a claim. 1.00
02:16:58.740 You know, I was just an idiot kid. 0.99
02:17:00.260 You know, I was just as much to blame as he was. 1.00
02:17:02.080 That's what she said before. 0.99
02:17:04.060 Then everybody, her dad said, you were raped. 0.99
02:17:06.380 You were raped. 0.99
02:17:06.760 That was a rape. 1.00
02:17:07.340 And guess what? Now here we are. The prosecutor said she, woman five, is perhaps the complainant 0.96
02:17:13.120 most affected. The jury was told she idolized Brand and found him really attractive. The
02:17:18.900 prosecution reiterated that she still had the right to say no and have that right respected.
02:17:23.900 Listen to this. Listen to this. The prosecutor reminded the jury that the complainant told the
02:17:30.120 court, she liked and kissed the area of Brand's behind, but did, quote, not insert my tongue.
02:17:41.340 That is how she tried to rehabilitate herself. Because Brand's lawyer said, don't try to tell us 0.64
02:17:48.200 anything having to do with the back door is so shocking and horrifying to you. You were
02:17:53.220 licking his on the outside and the inside within 10 seconds of knowing him. Forgive me,
02:17:59.520 I know this is disgusting. It's a trial. I've got to tell you what happened.
02:18:03.320 And she was like, I don't remember putting my tongue in there, like inside, but I definitely
02:18:08.340 did all the outside. Okay. Then there was testimony that there was a buildup between 0.96
02:18:15.320 the two of them talking about anal sex before he actually flipped her over and had it with her. 0.98
02:18:20.300 Like it was also discussed. And she talked about how it was like something subversive. I can't 0.97
02:18:25.140 remember this specific testimony. I don't want to try to put words in her mouth, but they had also
02:18:28.940 had an oral conversation about it, uh, prior to doing it. And now the prosecutor has the nerve
02:18:35.220 to bring up the defense of she liked and kissed the area of his behind, but did not insert her 1.00
02:18:43.280 tongue. Oh my God. Talk about slip splitting hairs. She goes on to say that the, her activity 0.96
02:18:49.500 in the dressing room doesn't mean it was open season for Russell brand to do whatever he liked 0.98
02:18:53.820 to her later on, calling it a violent and unprotected and anal rape. Okay. If they find 0.99
02:18:58.840 him guilty on complainant five, I I've gotten them. This whole thing was a sham, absurd
02:19:05.560 ramrod of a show trial. There is no way they can find him guilty of complainant number five. No
02:19:12.820 way. If this is an honest jury, uh, she goes on the courts reminded that the complainant
02:19:20.400 alleges Brand told her to shower and clean her teeth before the alleged rape, that he made her
02:19:25.140 feel grubby, made her feel dirty. She says he had, that she had already showered, but he tried to
02:19:31.680 make her, he wanted her to look pretty. She suggested Brand's request for her to wash may
02:19:36.000 have been about him getting off on the control. There's zero evidence of that. She added the
02:19:40.880 complainant leader told a journalist that when she asked him to stop, Brand told her he, that,
02:19:45.960 that quote, I can't when I'm like this, going on to tell her quote, this is X-rated. I want you to
02:19:52.480 feel my semen, basically. She said all he cared about was getting his birthright orgasm, a phrase 0.99
02:20:01.180 he also used in his autobiography, My Bookie Wook. She went on to say he saw a complainant as
02:20:07.980 quote, just a hole, just another number to add to his 5,000 notches, which he was marking up.
02:20:13.980 Can I tell you something? I bet she's right. And whose fault was that? Let's not be ridiculous here, people. What woman on earth who within seconds of meeting a man and is licking his, you know what, would be seen as anything other than just a hole? Stop it.
02:20:37.540 The absolute infantilization of women is everywhere. 1.00
02:20:42.180 And it's absurd. 1.00
02:20:44.420 She had agency.
02:20:46.620 She didn't need to be protected.
02:20:49.440 She clearly wanted to get it on with Russell Brand, with whom she was obsessed, whom she idolized by her own telling of it. 0.96
02:20:58.000 She did all that, by the way, while she was cheating on a boyfriend.
02:21:00.980 So she really, really wanted to be with Russell Brand.
02:21:03.420 She gave it up orally and vaginally without knowing anything about him. 0.99
02:21:09.320 Is it really so hard to believe that when he flipped her over after what she'd done to him and the discussion they had been having around anal sex that she didn't say yes? 0.99
02:21:18.600 I just I don't believe her. I don't believe her. I don't believe one word of what she's saying. 0.99
02:21:22.560 the jury is invited to consider some of the details of the alleged incidents that brand
02:21:30.660 described to the court and the details added since his earlier police interviews the prosecutor said
02:21:36.320 he chose to keep his cards close to the vest until he knew what we knew the jury was asked to
02:21:41.600 remember that in the case of complainant one brand told the court he only had sex in
02:21:46.360 Barnumoth one time that week. We are also reminded that in the case of Complainant Six,
02:21:53.700 this is the woman he worked with whose crotch he allegedly got too close to with his face while 0.85
02:21:59.320 she was giving him a massage that she didn't, she claimed she didn't want to give, but was told by 0.97
02:22:02.980 a coworker she had to do of his shoulders. Brand has since recollected details he did not previously
02:22:08.840 mention in police interviews, including the use of sex toys. She adds that Brand is adding and
02:22:15.480 creating as he goes along, telling the jury in a way that is far more than just memories
02:22:20.680 coming back. So that was it from the prosecution. We will hear the defense's closing arguments on
02:22:25.860 Monday, starting at 1030 in the morning. Uh, I'm sure, I mean, I certainly hope they've got
02:22:34.140 a banger prepared because Russell's in trouble. Russell Brand is in some serious, serious trouble
02:22:43.580 and trying all these cases together didn't help either. Okay. We're going to end it on a different
02:22:49.940 note. It's a weird one, but it involves Kristen Bell, the actress, Kristen Bell, who is in the
02:22:56.740 news right now for a couple of very bizarre comments she has made about her family and
02:23:02.080 motherhood. Um, first on her, on her husband's podcast is called armchair expert. Dax Shepard
02:23:09.580 is her husband of, and we know him from Parenthood, which was a great series, but he's been in lots
02:23:15.100 of things. She made comments on the podcast about the way that Dax Shepard flirts with her. And here
02:23:26.300 it is, Thought 30. I try to find something really nice on someone. You'll pull out a feature. That's
02:23:33.280 actually one of, that's how I know you're flirting with me a lot. Like if we go to a dinner or
02:23:38.380 something like there's a couple things Dax does where he doesn't have to look up and wink at me,
02:23:43.620 but I know that he's just being the best boy. We'll be at dinner and like he'll say to the
02:23:49.460 waiter or waitress, he'll go, wow, you have incredible eyelashes, gorgeous eyes. Great,
02:23:54.160 great job. And then that's flirting with her. But that's flirting with me because he just made 1.00
02:24:02.220 someone else feel good because he's going to have zero interaction with it. Let's say it is a girl.
02:24:06.920 he's gonna have zero interaction with this girl for the rest of his life the chances of him ever
02:24:11.500 having another conversation with her are so microscopic but to me to know that my partner
02:24:18.400 actively smiles at people and gives them compliments that but you just have such an angel
02:24:25.060 oh my god this is very weird can you imagine your husband going on and on to some other woman about
02:24:33.380 how beautiful her eyes are. God, she's stunning. Your eyes with the windows to the soul. I can't
02:24:38.480 get over how deep and meaningful. My, the blue. Shut up. What? I would not appreciate that. And
02:24:46.580 I am very confident in my relationship with Doug. But what spouse would enjoy that and consider it
02:24:53.300 flirting with them? What? That is the weirdest. Like, it sounds like this is my own feeling. 0.56
02:25:00.100 Dax Shepard likes the attention of other women and knows he can get it if he's over the top
02:25:06.840 complimentary of them. And so he's running around doing this because his wife allows it
02:25:11.060 without objecting. And she's decided to interpret it as flirting with her because it turns her on
02:25:18.940 at what a nice person he is. For the first time, I think these two are not going to make it. They
02:25:24.900 seem like such a cute couple. I now believe within the next 10 years, they'll be divorced.
02:25:29.660 That is not how a committed couple behaves toward one another. 0.54
02:25:33.440 It's not.
02:25:34.220 The whole thing's weird.
02:25:35.860 Her reinvention of it suggests she needs to reinvent it for some reason.
02:25:40.820 I don't know why they're doing that with third parties.
02:25:45.480 Then, it turns out she's been given a couple of interviews lately.
02:25:49.060 She sat down with Bustle, which is like this supposedly like a pro-woman kind of website. 0.99
02:25:54.800 By the way, Kristen Bell is 46. 1.00
02:25:56.980 She recently went on.
02:25:57.920 she discussed the less glamorous side of raising her two daughters, Lincoln, 13, and Delta, 11.
02:26:05.260 In an interview with Bustle, Bell made it clear that being a familiar face on television does not
02:26:09.560 shield her from the pressures of family life. Quote, it's hard. Do not think because I am on
02:26:15.800 your television that it is easy for me. It's brutal. I cry weekly. Wait, what? You cry weekly
02:26:23.620 because it's hard to raise an 11 and a 13 year old? What? Uh, okay. She goes on.
02:26:31.880 Bell explained that much of her exhaustion comes from the mental and emotional work
02:26:36.480 involved in raising children, particularly as they navigate puberty. She described the
02:26:41.580 experience as overwhelming, noting that parents can sometimes feel as though their children
02:26:45.800 are the only ones going through difficult phases. Quote, my cognitive labor, much like yours,
02:26:52.520 is an absolute burnout. There's so much here. Noting that parents can sometimes feel as though
02:27:00.580 their children are the only ones going through difficult phases. What? In other words, we matter
02:27:08.280 too. Parents, we go through difficult phases too. No one cares. Literally nobody cares as between
02:27:15.580 you and your child, whether you're having a difficult phase. It is entirely your job to
02:27:20.120 manage your difficulties on your own and not compare them to your child's. Your child's do
02:27:25.360 come first. Unlike you, they're a dependent. You made them. They didn't ask to be brought into this 0.84
02:27:30.000 world. You and your husband did that. And now they are actually and legally a dependent of
02:27:35.080 yours for at least 18 years. And you do have a moral and legal responsibility to place their
02:27:40.820 problems above your own and think about them first. No one cares about your bitching and moaning 1.00
02:27:46.000 about how, oh, parents have problems too. 1.00
02:27:48.800 Like, as between you and your child,
02:27:51.740 like, oh, they don't understand that I have issues too.
02:27:54.920 It's not their job to understand.
02:27:56.480 They don't need to understand.
02:27:57.700 They need to think about their own lives
02:27:59.080 and you need to think about their lives
02:28:00.540 and you can then think about your life.
02:28:03.300 But this is very strange.
02:28:05.700 She cries weekly.
02:28:07.140 It's brutal.
02:28:08.000 It's hard.
02:28:09.260 Okay, I would love to hear from all of you.
02:28:11.960 I really would,
02:28:13.040 because that has not been my experience at all.
02:28:16.640 And I am the first to admit I've had help.
02:28:19.400 So I am a person of privilege,
02:28:21.460 which is just a ridiculous term, but okay, I am.
02:28:24.000 I earned every dollar that I used to pay for that help.
02:28:27.880 But my point is simply, I've had help.
02:28:30.260 If I didn't have a full-time job,
02:28:32.160 I would be doing it on my own.
02:28:34.400 And maybe I'd be saying it's brutal
02:28:35.760 and I'm crying all the time.
02:28:36.700 I don't think so.
02:28:38.000 I think that some parents spend too little time
02:28:41.380 with their children
02:28:41.880 and then their children don't behave well and then the parents find it brutal and awful and
02:28:47.120 cry all the time and avoid their children, which leads to additional behavioral problems,
02:28:50.900 which leads to the parents wanting to spend even less time with them and on and on it goes,
02:28:56.240 an ongoing cycle. These are two very successful, very famous Hollywood actresses and actors,
02:29:03.460 she and Dax Shepard and it's a problem. If you don't put in the time, you can see behavioral
02:29:11.300 problems manifest in your child. Look, some kids develop behavioral problems, even with a present
02:29:16.260 and active parent, maybe that's what they're going through. But I will tell you that I believe
02:29:22.060 if your child doesn't have some genetic problem or like other problem that he or she was born with,
02:29:28.340 you can absolutely raise a child who will not be making you cry regularly, whose relationship with
02:29:36.000 you you would never describe as brutal or hard, whose relationship with you you would celebrate,
02:29:43.320 treasure, and dread the physical end of when they go off to college or what have you. It's very
02:29:50.360 strange and kind of sad to me to hear a mother talk about her children this way, this negatively.
02:29:56.140 And that energy is going to manifest in your house too. Your child's going to feel it. So it
02:30:00.560 really is something you got to get around and put an end to. There are women online who are 0.98
02:30:05.660 completely dragging her saying, we really don't want to hear it because unlike you, we have no 1.00
02:30:10.460 money. We have to work two jobs. Yeah, it's fucking hard because we don't have a cleaning lady.
02:30:15.960 We don't have two nannies. We don't have a driver. We don't have all the luxuries that you, 0.98
02:30:22.840 Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard clearly have. We're not movie stars and television stars.
02:30:26.860 and yeah, it's hard.
02:30:29.120 No one wants to hear about your crying.
02:30:31.060 She thinks it makes her relatable 1.00
02:30:32.380 and instead it really just makes her look like a brat 0.99
02:30:35.520 who can't handle all the luxuries of life 1.00
02:30:38.420 that she clearly has. 0.99
02:30:40.900 And yes, has been, has earned. 0.77
02:30:44.660 She's a worker, 0.99
02:30:46.280 but her cognitive labor is an absolute burnout. 0.96
02:30:49.940 Please, okay, just stop.
02:30:51.980 No one cares about your cognitive labor. 0.86
02:30:53.700 like truly there are moms out there working three jobs so that their children can play 1.00
02:30:59.040 extracurricular sports who really don't know where their next paycheck is coming from. I refer you
02:31:04.060 back to Walt Z and they really have no time for the problems, the cognitive labor problems of
02:31:12.440 Kristen Bell. There's an issue in this family. I wish them the best of luck. I love all of you.
02:31:19.720 love your thoughts on it. You can email me as always, Megan at MeganKelley.com. And in the
02:31:26.960 meantime, I hope you have a wonderful Halloween this weekend. Stay safe, watch your kids, enjoy
02:31:31.960 it. It's fleeting. We have got, we're going to go to a mad dash to get together our pufferfish
02:31:38.200 pumpkin, which requires a lot of finger burns, glue guns, and candy corn, and also heartburn
02:31:45.640 to keep it away from Strudwick Brunt,
02:31:47.980 our now five-year-old Red English Lab.
02:31:50.760 I hope it's a great one for you.
02:31:52.000 We're looking forward to it.
02:31:52.820 Let me know what you're dressing up as too.
02:31:55.060 I was asked by Paul Murray on my Sky News hit,
02:31:57.720 which I do with him weekly,
02:31:58.920 whether I have any costume suggestions.
02:32:00.700 I would say, if you can find a clever way
02:32:02.860 to be Kelly Clarkson with the bird,
02:32:05.360 you will win every costume contest.
02:32:08.220 Or there's always the fallback,
02:32:10.340 depending on what you look like, of Bianca Sensori. 0.93
02:32:13.140 You just put on like three pairs of nude legs pantyhose and like a sheer thong, but like
02:32:19.460 something to give you some modesty and a pillow off your couch.
02:32:23.220 You just hold it in front of you and boom, Bob's your uncle.
02:32:28.420 No attribution necessary.
02:32:30.640 Happy Halloween.
02:32:32.060 Have a great weekend and we will see you Monday. 0.77
02:32:35.060 Thanks for listening to The Megyn Kelly Show.
02:32:37.060 No BS, no agenda, and no fear.
02:32:43.140 Thank you.
