00:00:30.660Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, live on Sirius XM Channel 111 every weekday at New East.
00:00:42.360Hey, everyone. I'm Megyn Kelly. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show.
00:00:45.360Oh, my gosh. We have a lot to talk about.
00:00:48.860Ilhan Omar went on with Chris Hayes on MS Now last night, and what a debacle.
00:00:57.060Holy cow. The principal question, or at least one of the very principal questions in the case
00:01:06.900was posed to her messily, pathetically, poorly by Chris Hayes in his level best effort to
00:01:16.960diminish the whole story. And she couldn't answer it with a straight answer. It's unbelievable.
00:01:24.420He did ask her about her brusband, one of the longstanding allegations that she married her biological brother who'd been living in the UK in an attempt to get him a green card.
00:01:37.800This is the same guy who did get married to her, got a temporary green card and then decided to apply for a permanent green card.
00:01:46.300And when immigration authorities started asking questions about his marriage to what they believed was a U.S. citizen, Ilhan Omar, he withdrew the application.
00:01:58.480Chris Hayes did his level best to give her a complete pass on it, but clearly he knew he would be an absolute laughingstock if he didn't raise it.
00:02:09.680It was truly the only substantive exchange of the entire half an hour interview.
00:02:14.840he completely fell down on the job that's another thing which i'll get to in a second0.71
00:02:20.080but here in his one meager pathetic attempt at journalism he raises the issue of the brusband0.79
00:02:29.220and she completely whiffed it watch this there are right-wing people who believe that this man0.94
00:02:37.700was your brother right you have called it a disgusting lie well you who who was this man
00:02:43.700that was your husband when did they start saying that he was your brother why i started with the
00:02:50.100somali blog um uh that i don't know if it still exists but somebody put in there that you know
00:02:57.100that he had to have been my brother or something to that effect and um right-wing conspiracy
00:03:04.060theorists in minneapolis got a hold of it and they just kind of went and like found random people
00:03:09.860who are like she introduced us uh you know she introduced him to us and said he was her brother
00:03:16.420um which is you know it's insane i mean i don't i don't know those people that they
00:03:22.260talk about he was you were not related to him at all not that there's not like there's not some
00:03:27.900weird kernel of truth that through some game of my knowledge that was the big gotcha right in
00:03:32.800terms of what you're talking about promising like we're gonna nail her on the marriage yeah that was
00:03:37.080the source of the immigration fraud. That no longer seems to be the issue that they are
00:03:42.060putatively investigating, right? Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Not to my knowledge.
00:03:48.780That's unbelievable. I mean, that's literally unbelievable. There's a reason she phrased it
00:03:53.540that way. She is trying to avoid criminal liability. That's why she said that. Knowing
00:03:59.240is an element of the crime that she's potentially looking at their statute of limitations or not
00:04:05.360to prove that she knew he was her relative would be an element of the crime. And she's
00:04:10.200clearly told the federal investigators that it's not to her knowledge that she married her brother,
00:04:16.300which is her only escape because she very much did, according to all of the evidence
00:04:20.760that has been assembled by very strong reporters like Scott Johnson of Powerline
00:04:25.360and our friend from Alpha News the other day. The evidence appears overwhelming that she married
00:04:32.020her brother. And now when the cameras are on her, that's the best she can come up with.
00:04:38.560And the reason she had to wiggle as opposed to just say no, um, is because of the criminal
00:04:48.420liability because of the law. When it comes to supplements, we all know there are two things
00:04:53.720that matter that it works and that you can trust it rather than just tell you about relief factor.
00:04:58.600we often bring you what their real customers have to say.
00:05:01.660One, Jim, said he ran out of Relief Factor twice
00:05:04.900and that both times his aches, stiffness, and pain came back.
00:05:08.800Once he restarted it, he says he felt better again.
00:05:37.440Simply go to relieffactor.com or call 1-800-4-RELIEF.
00:05:41.540You'll connect with their super friendly local team
00:05:43.600and they will do everything they can to help.
00:05:45.840And maybe you will be sharing your story with them and me soon too.
00:05:50.240Before she was facing federal raids and a potential arrest and her sister's phone and her phone being in the hands of the DOJ, she was giving different answers.
00:06:06.660She was more explicit, clearly between just a month ago and now she's been briefed by a legal team on her exposure because Lindell, you know, Mike Lindell of MyPillow fame, he has his little TV outlet and he has reporters who go to Capitol Hill and ask questions and so on.
00:06:31.500And one of them asked Ilhan Omar last month, September of 2026, if she married her brother
00:08:44.440OK, so that's disgusting. Nobody should be doing that. Again, it's a convincing statement. And then the third indicator of deception there is. He's a dumb bitch like you. Attacking aggression against the questioner and attacking the question and the questioner.0.99
00:09:05.860These are classic signs of deception. Trust me, I know Phil Houston very well. I know his course material very well. I've sat for hours, I mean, almost 20 hours in his classes. It's called a cluster.
00:09:22.280The signs of deception have to happen within the first five seconds of when the question was asked.
00:16:41.860Let's fast forward to four years later, August of 2016.
00:16:46.580This is Preya's reporting from when she was with Alpha News.
00:16:49.060She found an Instagram post, again, by Ahmed, calling two young twin girls with a backpack from a primary school in Camden, England, his nieces.
00:17:05.160Ilan's Instagram account loved the post.
00:18:10.280And again, Ilhan Omar loved his post. She's related to them. She is loving the post that he is doing over in the UK because he's her brother.
00:18:23.460And she doesn't think anybody knows anything about the fact that while they have this technically legal marriage, only because they hadn't outed their actual blood relationship, that he's her brother, he's her family member.
00:18:38.260She's celebrating the birth of children and the celebration of her sister's children and so on.
00:18:42.800And she doesn't think anybody's going to find this out.
00:18:46.760In 2015, a year before that, there was a post from Ilhan Omar about Layla's twins, who are on two horses with Ilhan Omar in the picture, being her nieces.
00:19:00.260Again, the only sister she's owned up to is Sarah, the one who's doing a book tour right now, who moved to Africa eventually.
00:19:07.160But she came over with Ilhan and Ilhan's dad in 1995.
00:19:36.840And he stayed in the U.K. and was raised by Layla, who I think was 22 at the time.
00:19:41.400and late and there are social media posts again outed um by preya in which leila and ahmed are
00:19:51.680calling each other mom and son and there's a close-up picture of his face and it's the same
00:19:57.700guy quite clearly we see later identified as ilan's husband this guy is calling his big sister
00:20:06.080his mom, because when half of the family, the mother died when the children were young.
00:20:11.720So when the dad, Ilan, and Sarah fled to the United States and got refugee status in 1995,
00:20:19.440we believe without him disclosing his role as a colonel in this murderous regime over in Somalia,
00:20:27.220three of them stayed in the UK, Leila, Ahmed, and Mohammed. And so they're all over social media.
00:20:36.080acknowledging one another as siblings, as siblings prior to Ilhan Omar running for office.
00:20:45.160Okay, and that's not all. I want to get into this Powerline article that we haven't yet
00:20:49.120dissected by David Steinberg in 2019. He writes that in 2009, Omar was a 26-year-old alleged
00:20:58.240U.S. citizen because she had, quote, naturalized in 2000. So she was 29 years old.
00:21:08.440In 1995, she had entered the U.S., he writes, as a fraudulent member of the Omar family
00:21:14.740because Ilhan Omar's last name is not Omar. She has us believe that that's her maiden name,
00:21:22.160But it's not. It's Elmi. It's the same last name as we are now seeing in all of these other publications about her family. It's Nur Saeed Elmi. Nur Saeed Elmi. Nur Saeed Elmi.
00:21:39.740And what happened, according to these reporters, is there was the Omar family in Somalia, and they were getting refugee status here in the United States, and they could take a couple of the Elmys.
00:21:54.720And that's why Ilhan went at age 12, and her sister Sara went, who was also young, and it appears the dad went.
00:22:02.740And we're suddenly now Omars, not Elmys.
00:22:06.140and and that too may be under investigation as immigration fraud um so this is what he writes
00:22:14.700that she she came into the united states as a fraudulent member of the omar family that is not
00:22:20.100her family the omar family is a second unrelated family which was being granted asylum by the united
00:22:25.040states the omars allowed ilan her genetic sister sarah and her genetic father nurse saeed to use
00:22:33.200false names to apply for asylums as members of the Omar family. The above three received asylum
00:22:40.420in the U.S., while Ilan's three other siblings, using their real names, managed to get asylum
00:22:45.680in the U.K. Ilan Omar's fame before applying for asylum was Ilan Nur Saeed Elmi. And let me just
00:22:57.500tell you something. There's a new court filing in the current case against her by the DOJ.0.97
00:23:04.980By the way, it got assigned to Judge Boesberg. Fucking nightmare. You know that Judge Jeb1.00
00:23:10.980Boesberg has been trying to shut down Trump's immigration authority and his crackdown on other
00:23:17.200improperly stationed in the United States people like Mahmoud Khalil. There's been all sorts of
00:23:23.000cases, Judge Bozberg cannot stand Donald Trump. So this is an unfortunate pull for the administration,
00:23:28.460but it is what it is. And it was his magistrate judge who works under him who granted that search
00:23:32.520warrant. But in any event, the principal judge will be Judge Bozberg. But the judge, he's conducting
00:23:39.280these proceedings. And the DOJ just filed a three-page filing yesterday because there was a
00:23:46.780motion by the media to unseal the search warrant of Elon's home. Of course, yes, we want to see it.
00:23:52.640What is this? Like, why is this under seal? There's no reason for it. So the media does what it normally does, which is to say we have a First Amendment right and the public has a First Amendment right to see the search warrant. Unseal this. Judicial proceedings are not normally secret. And the DOJ filed a response to this. And here is how they captioned their response.
00:24:14.320Before the court are three applications to unseal ex parte materials and proceedings relating to a federal search warrant for the personal residence in the District of Columbia of Congresswoman Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a.k.a. Ilhan Abdullah Omar, the subject.
00:24:34.440So the DOJ has outed her real name, Ilhan Nur-Said Elmi, Nur-Said Elmi, like Ahmed Nur-Said Elmi, the brother in the UK, who she married in 2009.
00:24:50.540This is the DOJ telegraphing to the world that she committed immigration fraud when she got here.0.83
00:29:18.340Ilan has steadfastly refused to give media
00:29:21.300the names of any of her siblings besides Sarah Noor.
00:29:26.200That Noor, I believe is her married name.
00:29:27.720That's the sister who came over with her, who wrote the book, who's on the book tour, who's now missing and is blowing off the book tour events.
00:29:33.940The only rational explanation, quote, Leila Elmi was in the United States to visit Ilhan Omar, attended this dinner with her, and Ilhan introduced her, just as AXO describes.
00:29:48.420We now have verifiable evidence that Ilhan Omar, Sarah Noor, and Leila Elmi are siblings, with a father named Nur Saeed Elmi.
00:29:58.080All that remains is to verify our source's claims, he's writing here in 2019, that Ahmed
00:30:03.680Nur Saeed Elmi is indeed Layla Nur Saeed Elmi's brother.
00:30:10.200We have a great easy start, he writes.
00:30:13.460Layla and Ahmed already appear to be two of the only three Nur Saeed Elmis in the United
00:30:40.400There are only three in the United Kingdom, and Layla and Ahmed are two of them.
00:30:47.980Next, Layla's marriage certificate attests that Layla Noor Saeed Elmi lived in Camden, England,
00:30:56.180a borough of London, in 1997, and she was 24 years old at the time. So I was right. In 1995,
00:31:02.360when Ilan came here, her big sister was 22. Yeah, 22. She stayed in the UK,
00:31:10.860And she raised Ahmed as her son. Ahmed Nur Said Elmi was 12 in 1997. So that would have made him 10 in 1995 when Ilan was 12. She's two years older than he is. Per his own admission, he attended a school where? In Camden, London, England, for students aged 11 to 18, Haverstock School.
00:31:34.600um then again then here they reference the fact that the prayers reporting that in august of 16
00:31:44.180ahmed called two young twin girls with backpacks in camden his nieces and ilan omar liked it
00:31:50.340and then ilan's instagram post picturing herself with the same twin girls years later now on horses
00:31:55.580um marking her location as camden lock village in england and she also called the daughters
00:32:03.080her nieces. Those twin girls are indeed the daughters of Layla Nur Said Elmi.
00:32:09.060This can be confirmed by anyone through posts that are currently active
00:32:12.720on Muhammad Nur Said Elmi's Facebook account. We believe that's the father. It's unclear to me
00:32:19.140whether there's a third brother named Muhammad or it's just the dad. It's kind of irrelevant
00:32:22.920for right now. So he concludes, we now have verifiable evidence that Sarah Noor, Ilhan Omar,
00:32:28.840and Layla Elmi are siblings with a father named Nur Saeed Elmi. Layla Elmi and Ahmed Nur Saeed
00:32:34.760Elmi both lived in the same neighborhood of London and know one another and are all over
00:32:39.720the internet calling each other mom and son. And they both refer to Layla's children as, well,
00:32:50.060he refers to Layla's children as his nieces, a post Ilan liked. He referred to Ilan's daughter
00:32:55.600as his niece. Both Ilan and Ahmed call Layla's Elmi, Layla Elmi's children, their nieces.
00:33:04.560Okay. That's, it's, it's just, it's overwhelming. It is absolutely overwhelming. And Ilan Omar is
00:33:13.440all over the record as, you know, lying about this relationship. Each one of those would be0.92
00:33:19.040acts of perjury, each one of them. So why, why was none of this, none of it raised by Chris Hayes?
00:33:30.600Our sponsor, the Electronic Payments Coalition, says Washington politicians are always getting
00:33:35.540in your wallet and that now they're messing with your credit card. They say your credit card and
00:33:40.220the security it offers are under attack and that Senators Dick Durbin and Roger Marshall want to
00:33:45.180change the nation's payment system to benefit corporate megastores like Walmart and Target
00:33:50.080at the expense of everyday Americans. Credit cards can keep your payments secure and provide
00:33:55.400rewards that families use to help make everyday purchases more affordable. The Electronic Payments
00:34:00.380Coalition says the Durbin Marshall mandates would let corporate megastores cut corners on credit
00:34:04.880card processing, routing transactions over cheaper, untested networks with weaker security and fewer
00:34:09.900protections. Find out more for yourself at guardyourcard.com and consider telling Congress
00:34:15.620to guard your card. Time to get this party going. Uh, I thought you said you were using your reward
00:34:23.240points to get a new sound system. I didn't have as many points as I thought. Sounds like you need
00:34:27.640BMO and Blue rewards. The points add up fast. Really? Why? Because you can earn two times the
00:34:32.120points at any grocery, gas, or wholesale retailer. That's a ton of points. And 10 times the points
00:34:37.120at select partners. I'm stoked. Let's crank the tunes. How about just a high five? Terms and
00:34:45.340conditions apply. Visit bemo.com slash blue rewards. Let me tell you how disgusting it is
00:34:52.700that he made a joke out of the allegations about the brother and then failed to follow up when she
00:34:59.160said, not to my knowledge, any reporter worth their salt, all it would take is not to your
00:35:04.120knowledge. What do you mean? Everyone knows whether they married a sibling. What do you
00:35:09.220mean not to your knowledge? Was he your brother or wasn't he? Pin her down. Just one fucking
00:35:15.440follow up, but he wouldn't do it. And let me tell you something. Do you recall when Pete Hegseth was0.99
00:35:20.800in the running for defense secretary, now secretary of war, and the ridiculous CBS report0.89
00:35:27.700claiming that he had raped a woman hit and he was cross-examined about whether he was a rapist by0.96
00:35:32.980every reporter in the United States. And we went through the report, the police report,
00:35:38.500like tooth and nail. And it was very clear this woman was lying. They had had an interlude,
00:35:43.140but it was clearly voluntary. Her husband and children were down the hall asleep. She was
00:35:47.300obviously mortified. And she came up with a lie. In any event, you remember when that happened?
00:35:52.860And then I got an exclusive interview with Pete shortly thereafter. But before he was confirmed,
00:35:57.940I went down to D.C., we aired it on this program, and I had to ask him all the questions about whether he raped that woman and the truth of his behavior toward her and other women, too.
00:36:17.680I think he was very grateful to me for the fair and balanced coverage we gave him on this show.
00:36:21.260But did I, when I sat across from him, give him a complete pass, laugh off all the allegations and not inquire as to whether this was possible and get factual responses to the factual allegations that were standing against him?
00:36:44.960Did I enjoy confronting him with allegations?0.99
00:36:47.520I strongly believed were absolute bullshit that were the nastiest allegations you can make against0.99
00:36:53.480a man. No, I did not enjoy it, but I did my duty. Chris Hayes, what a disgusting simp.0.99
00:37:03.360Honestly, the way the joke and the the attempt to run cover for her with the who was this?0.84
00:37:10.280When did they start alleging this and why? The compound question was obviously an attempt to let her just choose one. The simple question, who was this? Would have been absolutely damning. Who is Ahmed Noor Saeed Elmi? Ask that. What is your real name?
00:37:32.620Because just today, madam, the DOJ filed a brief saying your actual name is Ilan Nur Saeed Elmi.
00:38:28.440And then she attacked the questioner and then tried to say, that's disgusting.
00:38:33.740OK, but here are some of her other answers on this, which if you know and you're Chris Hayes that you're going to ask this question, you have to have the prior statements in your hand.1.00
00:38:41.640You idiot. He's not an idiot. He's biased. He's a left wing hack.1.00
00:38:47.900Only a hack would behave that way in this interview.
00:38:52.200This is what she told NPR. I think this is Minnesota Public Radio in 2016.
00:38:58.440because this was starting to bubble up.
00:39:01.640She said, I have yet to legally divorce Ahmed Noor Saeed Elmi,
00:39:48.300Here's the Minnesota Minneapolis Star Tribune, same year, 2016.
00:39:53.380The campaign would not make either Omar or Hersey, meaning her original husband, like the Muslim guy who she had the Muslim ceremony with, who she would eventually legally marry after her divorce from her brother alleged was complete.
00:40:12.480The campaign would not make either Ilhan Omar or the husband Hersey available for comment, releasing a statement from Omar instead, quote, a number of baseless, absurd rumors that don't bear repeating have been made recently about my personal life and family.
00:40:33.560Again, this is not what that could be about some other rumor that that doesn't hit it.
00:40:38.040Don't forget, a truth teller gets right over the target.
00:40:41.240he or she sits there because the truth is their ally. Think about it. Did you marry your sibling?
00:40:49.440No, no, no. And not only that, you might say, and there'll be no blood test, DNA test,
00:40:59.260or any other proof whatsoever that I married my sibling because he's not.
00:41:03.360Bye. That's it. Not, it's absurd. It is an offensive insinuation. You are a shit. That is disgusting. This is what we've been getting from her. Here's Minneapolis Star Tribune in 2018, or sorry, 19, when it came up again.
00:41:23.740Uh, it's really, really, it's, it's a really strange, right?
00:41:43.600So here she is denying that she has a brother by that name, Ahmed Noor Saeed Elmi.
00:41:51.460But she does. And the jig is almost up, my friends. I don't know whether this DOJ probe is all about the brother or about the brother husband at all. I'm sure it's a piece of it, because if she married her brother and said he wasn't and then went on to try to help him get a green card, temporary and then permanent, that's all immigration fraud.
00:42:17.040All of those are felonies. And then the number of times that she lied about it, potentially as she filled out forms, are felonies. And it's, of course, why she's trying to say not to my knowledge now so she doesn't commit a current felony, which would be inside the statute of limitations.
00:42:32.260The statute of limitations on all those items, those previous felonies, appears to have run.
00:42:37.560So I don't know whether the DOJ is circling in on this.
00:42:40.680There is speculation online from an online commentator who goes by Shipwrecked Crew, very smart lawyer, that what they may be zeroing in on now, hold on, I want to get it in front of me,
00:42:52.780could be the theory that she was not related to the person she claimed was her father.
00:43:03.340So, you know, this person who brought her over was not, in fact, her father.
00:43:11.660He's positing and that therefore couldn't have gotten her citizenship.
00:43:16.960He writes, he reminds us that there's reporting that this all kicked off recently over a group text message in her sister's phone.
00:43:24.980We do know that her sister's phone was seized in a separate, I don't know if it was at a raid or was it a proceeding where they got it from her.
00:43:34.440But the sister's phone was seized and the sister has reportedly given an interview to investigators and they have the sister's phone.
00:43:42.700And he's positing that this was the basis for the warrant to get Ilhan Omar's phone and the raid.
00:43:49.520And he says there is reporting that this all kicked off recently over a group text message on the sister's phone likely obtained in connection with the fraud investigations in Minneapolis that involve her sister.
00:43:58.660His sister's got her own sketchy connections in the Minnesota Somali community that was committing fraud.
00:44:05.040He writes the message must reveal some information about them not being part of the same family.
00:46:30.060Do you know that for a fact that they didn't take, like, a toothbrush or a comb or something like that?
00:46:33.980and none of that was listed okay in the because they have to give you a receipt of the items
00:46:38.840the receipts um so i would have seen if they did take anything that had uh contained dna and they
00:46:45.640didn't like make a request for you of like a swab or anything like no okay so there you have it they
00:46:52.900wanted the phone they wanted the actual phone they wanted to see for themselves the text messaging
00:46:58.260And don't forget, they have a technology that will download your phone and all sorts of things that you think you've deleted.
00:47:07.120And there's no doubt that Quantico is already doing that, and they're going to know everything that was on that phone, whether she's deleted it or not.
00:47:15.020They have a search warrant, a federal criminal search warrant, which is no unserious business.
00:47:20.820i mean you you should be scared if the feds show up on your door and seize your phone
00:47:26.300if you've done something unlawful because they're gonna find out um then she tried to claim that
00:47:34.900her citizenship is a settled matter here in stop 13 watch this do you think it's true he doesn't
00:47:41.380have anything to do with it oh absolutely not i mean he's got everything to do with it um
00:47:46.960You know, this goes back to 2019 when he was screaming about the fact that, you know, I need to be sent back.
00:47:58.240I need to be deported, which then he ordered his Department of Homeland Security to investigate me.
00:48:06.440And in that investigation, they produced a one page memo saying, you know, her citizenship is solid.
00:48:16.960there's nothing for us to look at. And at that time, they even looked at my father because he
00:48:22.740was still alive. And so for them to, you know, say that, like, my status as a citizen in this
00:48:31.860country was solid. And then to have that same department now saying there's something wrong
00:48:38.600tells you how political this whole investigation is.
00:48:44.120OK, that is a reference to the Washington Post report with which we dealt last Friday, which is as to say it's as thin as this paper, I mean, would be to understate the thinness of the Washington Post's attempted exoneration of Ilhan Omar on this.
00:49:01.500They had one former Homeland Security official saying, I think her citizenship was in order and said that there was a memo that they never circulated by email.
00:49:14.300They only discussed it in a meeting and he thinks the citizenship was in order.
00:54:30.500I now have my very own channel on SiriusXM.
00:54:33.560It's called The Megyn Kelly Channel, and it is where you will hear the truth, unfiltered, with no agenda, and no apologies.
00:54:39.840Along with The Megyn Kelly Show, you're going to hear from people like Mark Halperin, Link Lauren, Maureen Callahan, Emily Jashinsky, Jesse Kelly, Real Clear Politics, and many more.
00:54:49.220It's bold, no BS news, only on The Megyn Kelly Channel, Sirius XM 111, and on the Sirius XM app.
00:54:55.800Continuing now on our Ilhan Omar update and joining me for this piece is Viva Fry. He's
00:55:08.940Rumble creator and former litigator who's been following this case as well. Viva, great to see
00:55:14.340you. So we'll get into this in a second and we'll talk about Chris Hayes. But here was the other
00:55:20.520soundbite that I want to show from the exchange that where he he deigned to touch on the serious
00:55:26.520questions about her financial disclosures and what sort of funny business happened when she
00:55:33.120first listed a business that had almost zero value. The next year said it had between six
00:55:39.140and thirty million dollars in value. And then when an investigation into that enormous wealth spike
00:55:45.060was commenced, revised the numbers back down to zero value when it comes to her husband's
00:55:52.480businesses, which do not, as far as we can tell, appear to have been legitimate corporate concerns
00:55:59.420at any point, making wine or doing real investments from people, and have been the subject of multiple
00:56:05.300litigations from investors. A reporter was here yesterday explaining to us that notwithstanding
00:56:10.480the fact that these businesses made no money and apparently had no money, everybody who sues them
00:56:16.220continues to get multi-million dollar payouts. Like they go away with big payouts, which is
00:56:22.600another piece of the mystery around the Omar Minet, that's the husband's finances. He owns
00:56:28.980reportedly one third of those businesses. Here was the entirety of Chris Hayes' treatment of
00:56:35.900that piece of her scandal in SOT-12. They cited a financial disclosure for Congress that initially
00:56:43.200said that your husband's firm was worth $30 million. That was before an accountant put
00:56:48.700in the liabilities of that firm, which then brought the $30 million down to like
00:56:52.380essentially net zero, $20,000, which did make me worry a little about your husband's business,
00:56:58.280to be honest. He's not in them anymore. I was like, well, that seems like a big difference
00:58:51.540In fact, I'd be worried about the fact that, you know, her husband, Manette, it's sort of like a Manette field or a minefield.
00:58:57.060I screwed that up, you know, that he got by people that he promised 300 percent return on their investment into his wine company.
00:59:03.960And then when they get, you know, their original three hundred thousand dollar loan back, they sue for the 300 percent or 200 percent interest.
00:59:10.400And it turns out that this wine company, which was like named the brand of the year in 2022, seemingly has no assets, allegedly selling empty barrels.
00:59:18.040But, you know, just laugh it up, Chris Hayes. Yeah, 30 million in liabilities. What might those liabilities have been? And what were the assets if it wasn't all just a shell game of, you know, Bernie Madoff or Enron accounting type proportions? What the hell is going on in there? And instead, you know, move on. She drives a Camry. Boo hoo. She's the victim in this.
01:00:04.500So like she is that is not working class. It's a lie. And, you know, he's not in them anymore. Why? What happened? Why did he? And we had our reporter yesterday was saying, what accountant would ever do a business valuation without including the liabilities?1.00
01:00:24.840again like that that's such a lie too megan none of it makes any sense when you understand that
01:00:31.700interview was basically a pr damage control and they couldn't even do the proper pr damage control
01:00:38.140everything about that interview was intended to make her look like the victim oh she's the victim
01:00:42.900of the weaponization of government right now as though she wasn't the one celebrating the same
01:00:47.200weaponization against roger stone back in the day no one is above the law when it came to donald1.00
01:00:51.180trump but she's the big bad you know the big baby victim in all of this uh and she's poor because
01:00:56.460you know there's richer people in congress yeah there's a problem of wealth insider trading in0.99
01:01:00.480congress uh she's part of that problem and the fact that her husband's businesses can be you
01:01:05.640know varying in in terms of value to the order of tens of millions of dollars just overnight
01:01:10.200you know that is cause for concern i don't care that congressional in that whatever the hell that
01:01:15.240was that they investigated and said no wrongdoing that's good they're not the authorities they're0.83
01:01:19.200not the feds any other citizen engages in that type of chicanery in terms of either overvaluing0.65
01:01:23.980or undervaluing and by the way not for nothing when they went after trump for overvaluing his
01:01:28.520assets to get preferential interest rates from the bank other than the fact that that was between
01:01:32.080two sophisticated private lenders and borrowers there's a good reason why her husband might have
01:01:36.760had a vested interest to overvalue the assets of the company if he's trying to sell an impossible
01:01:40.920rate of return to sucker investors who he takes the money from so there's actual nefarious reasons
01:01:46.000for which this might have been done above and beyond,0.77
01:03:11.940Who set you up? Under what circumstances was the meeting? How did you fall in love?
01:03:16.360What was it about him? Did you consummate the marriage? How many times? You claimed two years
01:03:22.100into the marriage that he had abandoned you, and yet there's all sorts of social media contact
01:03:26.740between the two of you. Why is that? Why is he referring to your daughter as his niece?
01:03:31.880Is Layla Elmi your sister in the UK? Why are you liking posts? Why are there pictures of you with
01:03:39.120her two daughters, with you calling them your nieces. She's just cooked. If any one of the
01:03:47.360pieces done by Powerline or Alpha News, which have been on this for the past 10 years, is true. I mean,
01:03:53.000if any one piece of their social media exposés, and I should mention to the audience that those
01:03:58.580social media posts, once these reports came out, like the Powerline report, they took down their
01:04:06.300social media scrubbed these references and then reposted the social media having removed these
01:04:12.460but they were already captured by these diligent journalists without whom we wouldn't have any of
01:04:16.720this proof but all of it is going to be laid bare what i find amazing also is her just her
01:04:23.020blanket like i don't know those people talking about what you know the people that were interviewed
01:04:27.700this is i don't the behavior panel the body language guys they they need to look at this
01:04:32.740Because when I'm looking at this, I notice a change in inflection in her voice when she says things that are true that she thinks makes her look like a victim and then says things which I don't think are true when it comes to, I don't know who those people are, as if to say, well, you know, disregard it all.
01:04:47.160It's just some Somali blog and some far right, you know, conservative conspiracy theorists.
01:04:52.440You know, this is not an issue of where there's smoke, there's fire or find me the person, I'll find you the crime.0.94
01:04:57.260There have been credible, legitimate questions asked and her answers are wholly unsatisfactory.
01:05:02.740And the fact that you can't trace anything to confirm the origins of her second husband,
01:05:08.180how has it not been investigated before?
01:05:11.080Other than the fact that, you know, the Biden administration opened something,
01:05:13.820but then they realize, oh, crap, we're opening something that's going to be very damning into an ally.
01:05:18.140Let's shut it down before the next administration comes in.0.95
01:05:21.340As their borders were open and they were trying to make the sob story case for refugees in Ohio who were downtrodden
01:05:28.900And we just needed to open our border to that was the last piece of information they needed to come out, that this alleged refugee was actually the daughter of somebody helping a warlord and had been going under an assumed name for years and might possibly be here entirely illegally.
01:05:42.900Like that was the last piece of information they needed to come out. But it's interesting. You should mention the body language and the inflection, the up the up voice suggesting to you deception, because before she sat down with Chris Hayes yesterday, she posted a video of herself in a car asking for money.
01:05:58.060She wants donations. And the New York Post actually got a body language expert to weigh in on this thing. Her name is Lillian Glass. And this woman is legit. She has apparently testified in state and federal courts based on her expertise on body language.
01:06:18.120And she has serious questions about Ilhan Omar's deception in that piece, including this statement here.
01:06:27.740And listen for listen for the inflection on the word me.
01:06:31.580Sat 16 for trying to intimidate me and so many people right before the midterm elections.
01:06:40.500and she suggests that she goes upward in her inflection on the word me as she says quote
01:06:47.380trying to intimidate me as though she is asking a question this is significant and a signal of
01:06:53.200deception she also pointed to omar's lick lip lip licking in the video as a sign that0.98
01:06:59.500her automatic nervous system is kicking in she pointed out that her nervous smile had lips0.97
01:07:06.800curved downward. The raising of her eyebrows reflect that she is questioning her own words.
01:07:12.640And again, this is a woman who's been an expert witness in federal and state courts on behavioral
01:07:16.220analysis. Her raised eyebrows also mean surprise as what has happened to her as she did not expect
01:07:22.480this. So that is a professional's analysis just of her fundraising pitch, Viva. I can't wait to
01:07:27.780hear what Lillian Glass has to say in response to the Chris Hayes interview. Well, it's funny.
01:07:33.320i did actually comment on her i think they call it up talking like ending each sentence of them
01:07:37.500look whether or not it indicates deception it's annoying as hell and indicates someone who's
01:07:43.260insincere at best but you know i look or nerves well i mean if i were her i'd be nervous as well
01:07:48.600because you know there are very serious issues that she's going to face right now and i appreciate
01:07:53.600the argument that some people are going to say you can't hold a kid accountable for the sins of
01:07:57.520the father she was 17 when her father came in and may or may not have lied about being a refugee or
01:08:02.540the perpetrator of atrocities then the question is going to be if you want to put a statute of
01:08:07.380limitations which doesn't exist on what she may or may not have lied about when she was 18 or 19
01:08:11.240when she signed off that she was 17 so she could benefit from the naturalization status of her dad
01:08:15.460the question is going to be what has she been up to recently because i said like if something's
01:08:19.460happened once before it's happened again and by the something i mean corrupt criminal fraudulent0.50
01:08:23.900behavior did she try to go and intimidate witnesses recently about what happened 17 years ago what the1.00
01:08:29.500hell's going on with her husband's business i mean there are like it's not that uh she's a scoundrel0.99
01:08:34.580and i think she's a scoundrel there she must be one she's a proven scoundrel and proven scoundrel1.00
01:08:39.440who has relished in the weaponization of the federal government against her ideological and0.99
01:08:44.040political adversaries now crying a river because the exact same thing is being done to her and i
01:08:48.800don't say fight fire with fire if she had been apologetic about it at the time or defending the
01:08:54.200rights of peter navarro roger stone donald trump james o'keefe all the people who got pre-dawn
01:08:58.800raids, then people could have some sympathy for her now. She relished it then. And she appears
01:09:03.860prima facie to have done certain things that warrant an investigation. Nobody's going to shed
01:09:07.260a tear for her now. Absolutely right. Notwithstanding this whitewash by MS now, Chris Hayes ought to be
01:09:14.720ashamed of himself. Ashamed. Thanks for listening to The Megyn Kelly Show. No BS, no agenda, and no fear.
