00:00:00.500Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, live on Sirius XM Channel 111 every weekday at New East.
00:00:12.200Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show.
00:00:15.320A lot to get to on this Wednesday, including the latest in the investigation into Congresswoman Ilhan Omar
00:00:20.960with President Trump speaking out about it and Ilhan Omar speaking out too.
00:00:26.260We'll also have a reporter who has covered her alleged financial misdeeds very closely.
00:00:31.880But first, Prince Harry speaking out in his first interview since his move back home to the UK, claiming he really wants to reconcile with his family.
00:11:50.220So he does a kiss and tell book revealing all sorts of incredibly intimate secrets of
00:11:55.700the royal family while suing newspapers for revealing secrets about the royal family.0.99
00:12:00.940And he doesn't seem to understand, but this makes him like a shocking hypocrite.0.78
00:12:04.720And, you know, the best advice I ever had from any of the royals about how to exist as a popular, beloved royal was the late great Queen Mother, who was Queen Elizabeth's mother.0.91
00:12:15.740And she lived to 101, and she had a mantra, which was never complain, never explain, and rarely be heard speaking in public.
00:12:23.060That strikes me as still a very, very good template to be a popular royal.
00:12:27.620It's one that King Charles does, Camilla does, William does, Catherine does.
00:12:57.440That's why their poll numbers are so disastrous.
00:12:59.580And if they're going to try and run a rival royal operation on these shores in this country, it is going to go very badly down with the public, I can tell you.
00:13:09.540Last one on these two. He gives his reason on why they moved back to the UK in this GQ interview. Here's what he said, Satwan.
00:13:16.460You just moved back to the UK? How come?
00:13:43.000giving them a whole different experience
00:13:44.440don't worry I'm not criticising American schools
00:13:46.760But I think for kids of seven and five, to be able to have that comparison and to have two completely different cultural experiences is so important today.
00:13:55.480But, yeah, to be back closer to my family and to be back on UK soil for longer than a few days or a week here or there, you know.
00:14:07.780So, first of all, let me tell you exactly what happened to them at their Montecito schools, which I guarantee was the real reason they didn't like it out there.
00:14:16.220They weren't the most famous or the most powerful or anything special whatsoever.
00:14:22.480That's where the billionaire class lives.0.99
00:14:25.220He would have been like a pimple on the ass in that group, Piers.0.99
00:14:30.060And I'm sure he couldn't stand it that neither he nor his children were special out there.0.99
00:14:35.060But how about the, OK, opportunities for my family?
00:15:39.220Now, speaking of the royals, you have a lawsuit going against Charles Spencer, Carlos, Diana's brother, who wrote this book in September about the royal family and how terribly they treated her, etc., allegedly.
00:15:54.920And he smeared you with defamatory lies, which you filed a lawsuit over, saying this book should be pulled off of the shelves immediately.
00:16:07.480So, so far, I mean, what happened, just simply for your viewers, is he accused me of perpetrating the most egregious invasion of privacy in Princess Diana's life, which led to a million pound payout by the Mirror Group.
00:16:21.480The problem was it all happened in 1993, two years before I joined the Mirror Group.
00:16:28.580And he did several pages of the book on this.
00:16:30.880And then he used it as an explanation for another whopper, he told, which is that when he uninvited all the newspaper editors from Diana's funeral, after we'd been formally invited and had accepted invitations, he did that purely so he could then leak it to the media and have, you know, tabloid editors uninvited from funeral.
00:16:49.720so he got his uh his uh his egregious against us done that way but he said that in that phone
00:16:56.360conversation when he called me i was really offhand and surly with him because of the history
00:17:01.880that i had with diana over this payout it had nothing to do with me so the whole thing was
00:17:07.460bullshit so he knew he'd done something very bad he immediately did a groveling apology to me
00:17:14.040the publishers have agreed to remove it from further issues but what we're talking about now0.94
00:17:19.140is what they're going to do to compensate me for the inaccuracies they've put in.
00:17:24.740Now, the slight complication here is it has been brought to my attention,
00:17:28.940Megan, that far from damaging my reputation,
00:17:31.560this has actually enhanced my reputation,
00:17:33.780not just with the public, but with the royal family.
00:17:35.820I'm told the king himself is particularly pleased with me
00:17:39.360because it managed to mean that on the day of publication of his book,
00:17:42.660where he made all these terrible claims against the king,
00:18:16.080You had on an American politician named Jamie West, who was everywhere last week, as an Indiana Democrat who was clearly drunk in an interview she gave in connection with her countywide race.
00:18:30.100So this is such a Piers Morgan booking. I love it. I love that you get these people that you would think to like, let's book her. I want to ask her about her drunkenness.
00:18:37.300You did and got her to admit to it. Here's Sot 8. So fun.0.71
00:18:41.720a lot of people assumed you might have had a drink before you did that uh interview did you
00:18:48.060i had a course light i had a beer what one beer i mean maybe a couple how many beers did you have
00:18:58.200i was nervous okay i get it i was going with the republicans we've all had a drink when we're
00:19:05.660nervous but just to be clear it's called a kick jamie here's your chance to be completely honest
00:19:10.720and transparent how many beers did you have all right three three beers okay well it's
00:19:18.100it's trebled in the last 30 seconds um so do you say man i had three beers okay okay so do
00:19:25.440you accept you may have been a little intoxicated
00:19:27.680not that intoxicated but i do know what i'm talking about okay pierce it was clear she
00:19:39.460had had a few more in advance of her interview with you i think she had i don't believe it was
00:19:44.460only three the first time either i think if i carried on asking it would have doubled and
00:19:48.240trebled a couple more times so look she's an extraordinary character i mean you've got to say
00:19:53.780that the these elections at local level like that they throw up the most remarkable characters we
00:19:58.980have the same thing in this country and they kind of you know what they kind of add to the
00:20:03.000gaiety of the world don't they i mean she's got no chance i would think of winning but
00:20:07.280is extraordinary. They do add to the gaiety of the world. I mean, she's no different from Kamala
00:20:14.380Harris, to be honest. It's just she owned it. Well, I found her marginally more coherent than
00:20:20.000Kamala Harris. So let me ask you about the upcoming elections, which are all the buzz over
00:20:25.600here. You obviously know a ton about America. You spent a ton of time here. You had a whole
00:20:29.880show on CNN primetime for years. The midterms right now, you know, if you if you go by the
00:20:35.900generic ballot or the latest polls, they don't look good for Republicans. The Republican defense
00:20:40.280is that they always perform better on election day than the polls suggest and that all these
00:20:45.480Senate races are within three points. So that tends to be the margin by which they outperform
00:20:51.280their polls. So it really is anybody's race. We don't know what's going to happen on election day,
00:20:56.940but I do think that the Republican defenders are deluding themselves about why so many
00:21:03.940Republicans and independents are fed up with them. I know you've been covering some of it.
00:21:09.940Your thoughts on where the electorate is right now and some of those issues?
00:21:13.700Well, I think you're right to have some caution about reading the polls because they've been
00:21:17.940wrong pretty much all the time about Trump. You know, I remember in 2016 when nobody in
00:21:22.180the polling world thought he had a chance and he ended up winning. So you've got to be careful,
00:21:27.620I think. But I do sense there is going to be a blue wave here. And I think they're definitely
00:21:33.040going to lose the House and they may well lose the Senate. And if they do, it will be entirely
00:21:38.840self-inflicted. This is the most baffling part of Donald Trump Mark II, since he won the presidency
00:21:44.660again, is that he started so well, you know, he shut the border, he stopped all that illegal
00:21:50.420immigration pretty much overnight. It was a remarkable achievement. If people were just
00:21:54.540voting on that, I think he would win quite comfortably with Republicans in these midterms.
00:21:59.060but instead he did a number of things which seemed to fly in the face of all the things he
00:22:03.780campaigned about uh you know he wasn't transparent about opening up all the epstein files as he said
00:22:09.400he would be he invaded a middle eastern country attacked iran having said repeatedly i don't want
00:22:15.360to do that we've wasted too much time and money and people by doing this in the past we won't be
00:22:20.760doing that um and so you look at it and you think how does that square with america first we're
00:22:26.140getting prices down at the pump, getting inflation down, everything to do with all the stuff he's
00:22:31.800done this year has been, to me, self-defeating. And I'm sure if he had a do-over again, he would
00:22:37.180not get sucked into this war in Iran, because I think ultimately, if they do lose both houses
00:22:43.600of Congress, it will be a self-inflicted wound from a terrible decision. He's now trying to get
00:22:50.900diesel fuel over here from the Russians, who he's lifting sanctions on just months after he imposed
00:22:55.820them. It's awful, isn't it? I mean. But that's not even our problem. You know what I mean?
00:23:00.480Like that's not what's causing the Ukraine war is not causing our economic problems.
00:23:04.800Nothing to do with it. The diesel prices, the gas prices issue is entirely because of the war in
00:23:10.800Iran and the fact the Iranian regime, far from falling, now has complete control of the Strait
00:23:16.200of Hormuz. And that has 20 percent of the world's energy coming through it. And every time America
00:23:20.520threatens to attack them, they attack one of the Gulf state neighbors. And so it's been going on
00:23:24.600now all year. And it's just gone very, very badly. I think if you're Donald Trump, he can pretend it
00:23:30.940hasn't, but it clearly has. And he's had a knock on effect on the cost of living for the average
00:23:36.020American. And I think if you're a farmer in America, you're feeling pretty disillusioned
00:23:40.400and pretty, pretty betrayed right now, nevermind other sections of the communities. And so I think
00:23:45.720Donald Trump, he won't admit it, he'll never admit it. But I think if he had his time again,
00:23:50.040he wouldn't have let Bibi Netanyahu suck him into this war, as I think happened with Iran,0.71
00:23:55.560because all the knock-on effect on America first, cost of living, diesel prices, and so on has been0.52
00:24:01.260a direct consequence of that one decision. Completely agree. And yet he was out there
00:24:07.340endorsing Netanyahu last week, like in this election that Netanyahu is facing. And then
00:24:14.340Our pal Mark Halperin gave J.D. Vance the vial of plutonium and said, would you like to handle
00:24:20.100this without gloves on in the following exchange? Sot 10. I normally don't ask yes, no questions,
00:24:26.620but I'm going to ask you two and try to hold you to net yes, no. Over the weekend, the president
00:24:30.320endorsed Benjamin Netanyahu for re-election in Israel. Do you endorse Benjamin Netanyahu?
00:24:36.580The president has the most effective endorsement in American or international political history.
00:24:42.700I endorse American candidates and that's where I'm focused on is the midterm. So I'm not getting
00:24:47.660involved in the Israeli election. So, so, so you're not, you don't want to say one way or the
00:24:51.800other, whether you, I'm not anti endorsing him. I'm not pro endorsing him. I'm not getting involved
00:24:55.480in Israeli elections. Right. Okay. Very smart. Get out of balance out immediately. There was
00:25:02.180no great way out of that for JD Vance, but I thought he handled it deftly. But what do you
00:25:06.740make of it? Because over here, there's a real question about whether JD's going to be able
00:25:10.980to effectively take the Trump baton, given that he hasn't stood up more forcefully to his boss
00:25:18.740on the issue of Israel? Well, it's very tough, isn't it? I think if you are the vice president
00:25:23.280to Donald Trump and you deviate away from him in public, you're not going to be in that position
00:25:27.440much longer. We all know how Trump operates. He likes complete loyalty. And some people like that
00:25:33.000about him. They think, you know, all of his administration were disloyal first time around.
00:25:37.080this time they've been markedly more loyal as a group. And that's because Trump has demanded they
00:25:42.500are when he gives them the job. So it's hard for J.D. Vance. So I think a lot will depend on the
00:25:46.480midterms. If the Republicans do lose the House and the Senate, then Trump, whether he likes it or not,
00:25:52.760will become a lame duck president. That will drive him nuts. He'll only have executive orders really0.65
00:25:57.260to operate with. And it could get very unpredictable and quite dangerous, actually,
00:26:02.980I think, in the next two years if that happens. So it's going to be very interesting to see how
00:26:06.940this all plays out. I just, when I see Donald Trump announcing a diesel deal with Vladimir Putin
00:26:13.320and ignoring a new sanctions on the Russians, which his great friend Lindsey Graham had
00:26:19.660painstakingly worked towards and was going to be implemented and had just come in two weeks before,
00:26:24.840I can't imagine that the average American Republican voter is remotely happy with that.
00:26:31.420Why would they be? Russia is the enemy of the United States. They're not friends. They're not
00:26:36.840to be trusted. You can have an argument about whether America should or shouldn't be getting
00:26:41.160heavily involved in helping Ukraine defeat the Russians. That's perfectly legitimate. And a lot1.00
00:26:46.120of Republicans I speak to are split on that. Some think they should, some think they shouldn't.
00:26:50.000It's a perfectly legitimate agreement. But to be sucking up to Vladimir Putin with diesel deals,
00:26:55.420to then have today Steve Wyckoff talking about Putin to his face as being a great humanitarian,
00:27:00.520in. Don't make me puke. The guy is a ruthless dictator. Last question. You said something
00:27:07.400recently about politics tilting on its axis, that historic alliances are at a breaking point.
00:27:17.520I feel that too, but I hadn't articulated it in that way. Can you expand on it, Pierce?
00:27:21.580Yeah. I mean, I look at the conservative movement in America. I look at people like you
00:27:25.700and tucker carlson candace owens others all in your own way different but i look at the way
00:27:32.160you're viewing things like the iran war like the epstein files and so on and there's a lot of
00:27:38.480common ground now between people on the right like yourselves and people on the left who would agree
00:27:44.880with you and so you're seeing people coming together would normally be very uneasy bedfellows
00:27:49.660but they're being drawn on these specific issues and you're seeing a real split i think in the
00:27:55.080conservative right and the really interesting question i think and you're seeing by the way
00:27:58.980the same thing on the left with the rise of a democratic socialist and the more moderate
00:28:03.480democrats you know they've got the same issue here which way do you go and i think the really
00:28:08.360interesting fallout from the midterms depending what happens will be which way the conservative
00:28:13.140right movement moves towards the 2028 election what kind of candidate do they want to represent
00:28:19.760the conservative right are they going to start listening more to people like you who i suspect
00:28:24.760reflect the views of the average Republican voter a lot more than a lot of the decisions that Donald
00:28:31.100Trump's administration had been taking this year so it's going to be really really interesting
00:28:34.740I think for the Republicans but also the Democrats post the midterms what do they do about the rise
00:28:41.180of the Democrat socialists right are they going to move that way or are they going to move more
00:28:45.560to a moderate candidate for the 2020 election you know I could you see a situation where AOC
00:28:50.900is their nominee. It's potentially possible. So I think that on both sides, it's really
00:28:57.200interesting to me, both split down the middle now ideologically, and you're seeing a convergence
00:29:01.660between people on the left and right, which I never thought I'd see.
00:29:06.000Yeah. Historical alliances are at a breaking point. Well said. As always, Pierce, great to see you.
00:35:32.380She doesn't allow cameras at her events.
00:35:34.920Every person who appears to know her the best,
00:35:38.280her former boss, her former colleagues in state government,
00:35:42.320even the doctors of this state, the Ohio State Medical Association,
00:35:46.020have told voters not to vote for her but to vote for me instead.
00:35:49.300This is part of a pattern of someone else who appears to know her well, who says the same thing.
00:35:54.200And I do think that it's important for voters to take all of that into account, especially because Amy Acton has hid from debate and ducked questions.
00:36:05.280On Kelsey, there's a lot of trading happening in the race since the ad broke yesterday morning.
00:36:09.760Acton is actually up 7 percent since the ad hit.
00:36:13.360She now has a 77 percent chance to win compared to 23 percent for Vivek.
00:36:18.100One month ago, she had a 57% chance to win with Vivek at a 43% chance, but her odds have been going up ever since then.
00:36:27.400So she went up 7% additionally yesterday, but she'd been making up that difference between 53% and 70% over the past month or so.
00:36:36.940And Vivek was actually favored as recently as July.
00:36:41.220Okay, but now what's going to happen in the final two weeks now that Vivek is putting millions behind this ad?
00:36:47.120By the way, our sponsor, Cal, she reflects what traders actually believe.
00:36:50.960It's real-time odds on the midterm elections.
00:47:46.480Is that like should he should he keep his hands totally clean while she launches attack ads like that,
00:47:53.460calling him a con man and a swindler and suggesting a woman's death was on his hands,
00:47:58.980by the way, even PolitiFact deemed that ad untrue, that this woman's death had nothing
00:48:04.300to do with anything Vivek did. Okay, so she's accusing him of killing somebody.
00:48:10.720His ad has her mom saying she is a liar. You tell me which one is more despicable.0.99
00:48:17.340This is just outrageous. What is the faux outrage in response to this is what is truly outrageous. And let me tell you something else. Negative ads. The reason they're done both by Amy Acton and by Vivek now is that they work. They work.
00:48:35.340May I remind you about the Willie Horton ad that was unleashed by George H.W. Bush supporters, a super PAC or a PAC at the time, when he was 17 points behind Michael Dukakis. Watch this.
00:55:20.940Okay, so that's the ad that's caused all this kerfuffle.
00:55:26.120J.D. Vance, the vice president of the United States, who's going to be campaigning with Vivek, I think a week from today, in Ohio, was just asked about this controversy.
01:13:29.520for her, quote, interactions with a foreign citizen.
01:13:32.260So, I mean, let's just tie this into this alleged Office of Foreign Access Control hold.
01:13:37.000I mean, it's just. We don't really know what's going on there, but I mean, like, you know, just putting two and two together, you know, that that warrants some scrutiny.
01:13:46.180Now, fortunately for. Could that be the brother, though? Could that be the Brisbane, a foreign individual, her interactions with a foreign individual?
01:13:52.040No idea. That investigation under the Biden administration apparently stalled. Obviously, things have heated up significantly.
01:13:58.740I hope that the authorities are looking at this particular angle because I'd love to get an answer on that.
01:14:05.060I'd love to get an answer on this alleged Office of Foreign Assets Control hold against the marijuana company.
01:14:18.260Fortunately for Badlands and Tim Minette and his business partner, Will Haler, even though they had nothing going on with that company,
01:14:24.940a few months after claiming this OFAC hold, they got a hold of about $1.7 million to settle this
01:14:31.660lawsuit, and they repaid the investors, one of which told the New York Post last year that they
01:14:36.800were amazed that they were able to come up with all this money just months after claiming complete
01:14:41.880and total financial insolvency. Wait, now, can you just underscore that for us, Andrew? Because
01:14:47.880As I understand it from your reporting, this happened repeatedly where there was, for example, the Wall Street Journal reported on a letter they had seen listing the assets that were in the Rose Capitol and in that other one, E Street, whatever it is, the one that owned the winery.
01:15:07.900and the letter reflected that there was no money.
01:15:36.060Well, yeah, well, there's two questions.
01:15:37.900actually so the pattern here is that investors gave millions of dollars to uh omar's husband
01:15:44.580and his business partner that money went somewhere because by and so this this was before 2024
01:15:51.940and then they received millions of dollars from investors by the beginning of 2024 those
01:15:56.720investors are now sued for their money back and uh tim minette and will haler saying hey sorry we
01:16:02.400can't pay you back because we have no money i have 40 bucks in my bank account what do you expect me
01:16:06.080to do uh so the first question is where did the investors money go in the first place um and this
01:16:13.220could provide an answer to why will hayler is saying that the office of foreign assets control
01:16:17.700stepped in and seized control of the fund of the funds um that's bizarre uh uh second question is
01:16:27.000where did they get the money just months later after claiming they had nothing
01:16:31.040no money and no business and no clients and no investments where'd you get the millions of
01:16:36.060then to repay these investors that you just told them, I can't pay you back because we're broke.
01:16:41.380So where did the money go in the first place? And then where do they get the money to repay
01:16:45.420the investors and close out all these lawsuits? Why is the Office of Foreign Access Control
01:16:51.380allegedly involved around the same time the Biden Justice Department is investigating her
01:16:57.060alleged interactions with a foreign citizen um yeah uh why is omar then reporting and originally
01:17:06.500that these businesses you know again after being financially destitute in the beginning of 2024
01:17:11.700by the end of 2024 they're allegedly worth up to 30 million dollars she then revises that down
01:17:17.820after i i reported uh those figures and then she claims months later that oh well my husband's
01:17:25.960accountant, failed to account for the liabilities of these businesses, and they're actually worth
01:17:31.440nothing, which I'm sorry is absurd. No accountant would do that. No accountant would, when asked to
01:17:39.340provide a fair market value for a company, would fail to take into account a company's
01:17:46.320liabilities. That doesn't happen. And it's astonishing to me that Ilhan Omar went to the
01:17:53.160wall street journal uh to you know for when she revised down this financial disclosure and claimed
01:17:58.520a 30 million dollar accounting error and the wall street journal just reported breathlessly that oh
01:18:02.940yeah the accountant just provided the wrong uh numbers they forgot to account for the liabilities
01:18:07.500that no account no accountant would do that that's crazy it's i mean it just it goes to show the the
01:18:13.940the um the the flexibility that the media provides ilhan omar that that no other person
01:18:20.220in American public life would just be able to say that without any sort of like pushback or
01:18:26.240scrutiny? Like, how is it possible that an accountant, a licensed accountant would fail
01:18:32.220to account for upwards of $30 million in liabilities for these businesses? I'm sorry,
01:18:39.000that's crazy. You're so right. You're so right. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I mean,
01:18:43.780assets and liabilities are the ABCs of accounting. You don't have to get very far into accounting
01:18:48.940school to learn that. Um, but there was a determination in September as in last month
01:18:58.760by the congressional committee, um, office of congressional conduct that, that voted to
01:19:07.460recommend dismissing the misconduct allegations against her saying there was no substantial reason
01:19:12.560to believe she violated federal law or house rules. Now I saw Janine Pirro on Fox saying,
01:19:18.360I'm not bound by that. So that's she seems to be telegraphing very clearly. I am looking into
01:19:23.840this piece of the case. But why would in a Republican controlled House, the Office of
01:19:30.420Congressional Conduct vote to recommend dismissing the misconduct allegations here if there was any
01:19:36.400there there? Yeah. So the way the House has things set up with ethics complaints is needlessly
01:19:42.840complicated. So the Office of Congressional Conduct is actually it's actually an independent
01:19:47.600review board it it's kind of like this preliminary agency that like screens ethics complaints
01:19:54.960submitted against members of congress or members of the house and if the office of congressional
01:20:00.520conduct deems that there is substantial reason to believe that something bad may have happened
01:20:05.140then they pass the complaint up to the uh to the house um ethics committee uh which then has the
01:20:11.720power and authority to conduct a real investigation with real teeth and impose real penalties against
01:20:17.400lawmakers. So we know that the Office of Congressional Conduct did an investigation.
01:20:23.860We know it was a split decision. It was a five to one vote that they deemed that Ilhan Amar
01:20:29.040didn't intentionally misrepresent her finances when first reporting she and her husband are
01:20:34.820worth $30 million. Oh, oops, actually forgot to account for the liabilities, were actually worth
01:20:40.000nothing. It was a five to one vote, and their report has not been made public.
01:20:45.520Uh, so we don't actually know the reasoning why they, why they believe there's no reason to believe that Ilhan Omar misled the public or intentionally reported, uh, false information.
01:20:56.600Um, I would love to get my hands on that report.
01:20:59.060I'd love to, I, you know, I'd love to ask him like, Hey, did you just take her accountant, you know, at face value?
01:21:06.140Or did you actually like look into the fine, like into the books of the, uh, the businesses?
01:21:10.480Did he graduate from the quality leering center?
01:21:13.220Yeah. Like, you know, did they just did the account? Did you get a letter from the accountant just saying that, oops, forgot to account for the liabilities?
01:21:19.040Or did you actually like look into like, OK, what are they what the actual books look like?
01:21:23.200Was there an independent was there a financial audit conducted? Like how how was this?
01:21:28.100How is it possible that this error was made? We don't know.
01:21:31.100And I suspect that, you know, again, we have a five to one vote that that one person that voted to that apparently believe that, yeah, we should pass this up to the House at this committee.
01:21:40.440um you know what was their reasoning so again i'm not i'm not putting too much on that that
01:21:47.020occ investigation um uh the house oversight committee uh led by james comer uh they're
01:21:53.340looking into uh this uh the 30 million dollar accounting error uh gm piero as you mentioned
01:21:59.000she's looking into this too and she's right they are not bound by the office of congressional
01:22:03.760conduct that is a independent review board she's got a lot more power than they do i mean to be0.99
01:22:08.820a lot more power than they do. The Office of Congressional Conduct has no power. They1.00
01:22:13.100essentially just screen complaints that come in against members of Congress.
01:22:20.100Not to mention, without disparaging any of them, they all have their own houses to worry about as
01:22:25.840well. There may be a feeling on board that five-person team of there but for the grace of
01:22:32.220God. Who knows what's in their own financial disclosures? And they may be more charitable
01:22:37.120in interpreting a member's assertion that a mistake was made,
01:23:02.020And then he goes on to form a international venture capital firm stacked with like these huge, you know, former Obama administration officials in their advisory board, all of which, by the way, you know, so the advisory board for Rose Lake Capital, their $25 million venture capital firm.
01:23:25.500they've later come out almost all of them saying that like hey we have like one conversation with
01:23:29.820these guys made no commitments and then they like slapped our names on their website claiming that
01:23:33.680we're working with them and so they've all distanced themselves from from the firm um how
01:23:37.780does he become an international venture capitalist uh owning a winery and investing in uh marijuana
01:23:45.080companies in south dakota um all the while everyone that's invested in these firms has
01:23:52.200eventually sued them um this uh office of foreign assets control hold uh that will hayler claimed
01:24:01.100there's also this indian billionaire um that uh in uh mid 20 in the summer 2024
01:24:07.540uh will hayler testified that an indian billionaire uh gave him 11 million dollars as part of this
01:24:15.280loan deal and then the billionaire requested the money back a few days later um and it's not clear
01:24:21.060I mean, it's it's it makes your head spin like how these guys just managed to do all like, you know, deep pocketed people all over the world into donating to these to these companies that like didn't do really do anything.
01:24:36.180They didn't, you know, there's no evidence that the marijuana company ever invested in marijuana businesses or ventures in South Dakota.
01:24:46.100The winery, they licensed some wines, but there's no real evidence that they're ever really a big thing.
01:24:52.940The venture capital firm didn't really have any investments, and yet they're getting millions of dollars from overseas.
01:24:59.100Will Haver is talking about being flown out to Dubai for business meetings connected to all this.
01:25:04.000Um, again, the OFAC hold, uh, the Biden administration investigating Omar's interactions with a foreign citizen, Omar and her husband in, uh, 2023 or 2024 amid all this, uh, are attending, um, these, uh, uh, uh, investment events, uh, uh, for, you know, uh, for investors seeking to invest in, um, uh, in Africa, uh, you know, while Omar is, you know, a member of Congress.
01:25:32.800you know it's it's all just so strange i don't i don't want to i can't speculate more on just
01:25:38.960aside from just laying out all that and and you know just questioning like you know what's what's
01:25:45.180going on here it's it's it's bizarre um and you know so much attention has been placed on
01:25:51.180omar's immigration status and i think rightfully so um but i mean this is a big part of the story
01:25:56.420too. And, um, and I hope that, uh, these investigations, uh, are, are looking into
01:26:02.480these angles as well. I mean, it's just an extraordinary amount of money that's flown
01:26:04.960into this, this enterprise. Um, and, and just sketchy as hell. I get it. It's weird. It's just,
01:26:11.080it's just so bizarrely weird. Let me tell you something. Having worked with Janine Pirro for
01:26:15.720years, if anyone can get to the bottom of this, it's Janine Pirro. She's like a dog with a bone
01:33:21.980They're everywhere because of their social media following.
01:33:24.480By the way, that's rumored to be largely fake.
01:33:26.600All those hundreds of millions like bought and paid for fake.1.00
01:33:29.500Um, and, and you cannot open a magazine or a newspaper without seeing their fake assets paraded all over as some sort of example of what a woman is supposed to look like. I object to the whole thing. I object to all the fakeness around them when it comes to their financial numbers, when it comes to their stupid reality TV show, and when it comes to their bodies object for the record.0.82
01:33:56.360Okay, moving on. There is a story about Holly Berry that we have been trying to get to since Maureen was on last Friday. And it just came to a head in a courtroom this week. So Holly Berry's ex, first of all, let me go back.0.98
01:34:15.740Halle Berry married Olivier Martinez, okay?
01:34:20.020And Olivier Martinez, most of us know him from the movie Unfaithful.
01:34:24.320He's the French guy who had the affair with Diane Lane in that movie.
01:34:28.900You, well, here's a clip from Unfaithful, just in case you don't remember.
01:40:41.300Along with the Megan Kelly Show, you're going to hear from people like Mark Halperin,
01:40:44.500link lauren maureen callahan emily joshinsky jesse kelly real clear politics and many more
01:40:50.260it's bold no bs news only on megan kelly channel sirius xm 111 and on the sirius xm app
01:40:57.300okay so we were going through the holly berry saga um where she was leaving the first husband
01:41:10.340She got together with Olivier. Now they're breaking up in 2015. And it was it too was a tumultuous breakup that did not go easily. The reporting was that they had a legal fight over the custody. It was not resolved until another eight years.
01:43:30.600The filing also mentions that they were home with her boyfriend, Van Hunt.1.00
01:43:34.540That's the one who she's doing all these inappropriate sexual posts with.
01:43:37.520And Maceo was playing a virtual reality game with goggles in his bedroom1.00
01:43:42.460when Holly allegedly entered the room in a rage1.00
01:43:45.040and said that Maceo looks so stupid and is, quote,1.00
01:43:49.680such an idiot for playing the game. The situation allegedly escalated from there when Olivier1.00
01:43:55.040claims Holly jumped on Maceo and started physically fighting with him. He says she grabbed Maceo by0.76
01:44:01.600the neck and started choking him while shouting, who is dominant now? The proposed temporary0.89
01:44:08.720restraining order stated that, tried to impose this requirement, that Halle Berry must not drink
01:44:15.360or be under the influence of alcohol or other substances in the presence of their son
01:44:19.600and must undergo sobriety testing before, during, or after any visitation.
01:44:25.380Hallie allegedly texted, by the way, that piece of the TRO would be denied,
01:44:29.600as would any TRO governing her contact with her son,
01:44:33.200but they entered one keeping her away from Olivier.
01:44:36.340Hallie allegedly texted Olivier the next day saying,
01:44:39.100quote, I feel terrible about what happened last night, as I know he does as well.
01:44:43.260The filing references specifically what those alleged past incidents were, saying that five years ago, Halle Berry allegedly struck the child in the face.
01:44:56.460I don't know if she if he means the child or him, Olivier.
01:44:59.960About 10 years ago, Olivier claims Halle had a violent outburst throwing a plate with a knife and a fork on top.0.99
01:45:06.760And in 2023, while discussing child support, she told Maceo that Olivier was, quote, again, a white bitch robbing money from a black woman.0.98
01:45:16.720So you can see that that child support got to her.0.99
01:45:21.900He wants sole custody of their son now.
01:45:24.220He wants the court to force her to stay away from him and the son.
01:45:28.060He did say he wanted the son to have a relationship with her, but that the son needed space after the alleged violent incident.
01:45:34.940that Barry and Martinez have been ordered to participate in a confidential mediation.
01:45:39.400He provided the texts between himself and Holly Berry, where he writes to her, allegedly,
01:45:48.080Maceo just asked me to pick him up now. Are you okay with it? She writes, no, I'm not okay with
01:45:52.620it. He wants to fight his mother. What kind of a kid are we raising? As a father, ask him what
01:45:56.780kind of kid he is. I'm his mother. He writes something like, I don't know what's happening
01:46:01.220there. What I know is you fight too much with him and since a while now. So you keep him at your
01:46:07.320place, even if he doesn't want to stay. She writes back, this is wrong, Olivier. I'm his mother and
01:46:12.980this is wrong. He had no respect for his mother and this should not be okay for you as his father.
01:46:17.820I'm a mother who is here logged, who works to pay you. And this is not okay. And you know it.
01:46:24.020He's disrespectful to me. He feels I have no say on anything. I'm just money bags. This is wrong
01:46:29.140and wrong. Olivier, I've reached out to Maceo and asked to speak with him. I know you very much think
01:46:34.700he makes his own decisions, but I would really appreciate it if you would encourage him to speak
01:46:38.100with me today. I feel terrible about what happened last night, as I know he does as well. So that's
01:46:44.400where things stood. And then the fight moved to, will they allow Maceo to testify in court
01:46:57.160hold on. I'm trying to find today's packet, you guys. I can't find it. Can you see if I left it
01:47:03.740upstairs? Sorry, because it's got all the stuff on what happened in court today in there, and I must
01:47:08.940have left it someplace. This is what I put my poor team through. Find the packet somewhere. Anyway,
01:47:14.840here's what happened. First, she went in and she tried to prevent Maceo from taking the stand at
01:47:21.520all. She argued that it would be inappropriate and that he should not take the stand, and she said,
01:47:27.160that he couldn't be trusted. She alleged that he couldn't be trusted. By the way, her team also
01:47:34.120said that those allegations in Olivier's filing were total and other bullshit. Her team was very0.99
01:47:42.700angry about those assertions and said, Holly's not violent, but this guy, Olivier, has a history
01:47:50.000of it. Um, so they said they didn't want him to be allowed to take the stand, but the judge
01:47:57.860ordered that he could take the stand and he has just taken the stand. Yeah. Thank you, Kayla.
01:48:03.920Um, okay. So he was ordered to take the stand. Um, Holly denied before all of this,
01:48:11.660that she hurt their son. She, uh, she says Maceo has quote, a personal interest in minimizing his
01:48:19.120own conduct and shifting responsibility to others, arguing that the court cannot necessarily assume
01:48:24.200his account is reliable. She goes on to say that she's been concerned for years that Olivier was
01:48:28.880getting their son involved in adult arguments, claiming their dynamic has caused her to be the
01:48:32.860rule enforcer, while Olivier gets to be the chill parent. This is a common complaint amongst the
01:48:38.280parent who has to be, quote, the bad guy, which she says Maceo views her as, given Olivier's playing
01:48:44.440the good guy for allowing the child greater autonomy. So the court sided with Olivier
01:48:50.020allowing the son to testify. Now, Olivier submitted a picture of Halle Berry that he
01:48:57.360says corroborates accusations she abused their 13-year-old son. And we have the picture.
01:49:03.180Let's look at it. Okay, it looks, it's Halle Berry with a very bad haircut. And she does look1.00
01:50:31.880of erratic, possessive, and violent behavior.
01:50:34.760And then we look back at that Thanksgiving 2012 brawl
01:50:37.540he had with Hallie's then-boyfriend and father of her first child, Gabriel Aubrey.
01:50:42.720In that incident, Gabriel claimed Olivier threatened to kill him,
01:50:45.820attacked him during a custody dispute,
01:50:48.020accused him of slamming Aubrey's head against the concrete driveway.
01:50:52.620He said, I suffered numerous injuries as a result of the attack,
01:50:55.400thanks to Olivier Martinez, including a fractured rib,
01:50:58.420multiple bruises on my face, and a number of cuts, which required stitches.
01:51:02.700We have a picture of him after that 2012 incident.
01:51:06.140So things got violent. And Halle Berry's team is saying if anybody's violent, it's the French actor. It's not Halle Berry. OK, you're still with me. Now we get to today and an extraordinary moment. I mean, this is like we have so much information about what went down here. It's very bizarre.
01:51:22.720What you really have is one of Hollywood's best-known actresses being accused of being a domestic abuser of her child, literally trying to choke him to the point where the son was so scared, he whipped out a camera and took a picture of his mother, immediately called the dad and said, please pick me up, and I don't want to be around her anymore.
01:51:40.460That's the allegation, which she thoroughly denies, but that's where we are.
01:57:42.460I mean, and then she gets together with Olivier Martinez, possibly in a cheating situation.
01:57:49.380And it takes eight years for them to come up with a custody agreement on their child.
01:57:55.200So now you got two kids with two different fathers.
01:57:57.640The first one ends in domestic violence in front of your home and somebody's under arrest.
01:58:03.840And then the second relationship with the second baby daddy winds up like this, where it takes eight years to come up with an agreement and repeated allegations of domestic violence by Halle Berry, which she denies.
01:58:18.140And now you got this 13 year old kid who's alleging openly that you tried to choke him out.
02:06:21.880And I can't help but look at, you know, her situation.
02:06:24.780Maybe, Gwen, you didn't need another season on The Voice.
02:06:28.220Maybe you could have been at home working on your marriage and your relationship with your children.
02:06:33.060Or coming up with some decency toward their father so that they don't have this discomfort being shuttled between, like, there's some embassy between the two of them where a diplomat has got to take them from A to B.
02:06:44.860And then, you know, back to the Halle Berry thing.
02:06:46.800Like, she can't get along with anybody.
