00:10:31.600 According to Pennsylvania State Police, 44-year-old trooper Mike Pajara was conducting a commercial vehicle inspection along Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County last Wednesday morning when a semi-truck drove off the road, striking his marked police car and the vehicle he was inspecting before also hitting the officer himself.

00:10:53.160 Both trucks caught fire in the crash. Pajara was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

00:10:58.940 In a press conference last week, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro honoring the fallen state

00:12:02.740 additional lesser charges. The suspect, currently being held in Schuylkill County Prison on $700,000

00:12:09.460 bail, due back in court July 15th. Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland Security has lodged

00:12:15.520 an immigration detainer against him, Bonn entering the U.S. in July 2024 under the Biden administration's

00:12:22.400 humanitarian parole program and later applying for temporary protected status, but his application

00:12:29.120 denied, DHS terminating his parole in June 2025 and ordering him to leave the country, which he

00:12:37.600 then failed to do, per Fox News. The 33-year-old Haitian obtaining a non-domiciled commercial

00:12:44.540 driver's license, or CDL, while living in Massachusetts in March 2025. Historically,

00:12:50.900 foreign nationals who are legally authorized to work in the U.S. but do not have a permanent

00:12:55.180 residence or domicile in the issuing state could apply for non-domiciled CDLs. Bond first

00:13:02.560 qualifying for the license in 2025 under federal law, then getting it renewed in February of 2026,

00:15:37.340 major damage to the parked car. According to the Napa County Sheriff's Office,

00:15:42.180 deputies locating Pelosi approximately a quarter mile away from the crash after his car stopped

00:15:47.900 working. Pelosi reportedly telling authorities he knew he had hit something, but, quote,

00:15:53.120 he did not know what he had hit, so he kept driving. He drove until his car became disabled

00:15:58.820 and was no longer able to continue driving, end quote. According to the sheriff's office,

00:16:05.220 deputies reporting there was no indication that alcohol or drugs were a factor. The Napa County
