00:00:57.340 objectives. A federal judge reinstating legal status for thousands of migrants admitted through

00:01:03.140 the Biden-era CBP-1 app, blocking President Trump's effort to terminate their ability to stay in

00:01:10.360 America. Humanity's next great voyage begins. And a historic journey underway, the Artemis 2 crew

00:01:17.440 now heading toward the moon. All that and more coming up in just a moment on your AM Update.

00:02:25.440 President Trump last night delivering a primetime address from the White House,

00:02:29.560 providing an update on the progress of Operation Epic Fury, now in its fifth week.

00:02:35.300 In these past four weeks, our armed forces have delivered swift, decisive, overwhelming victories on the battlefield.

00:02:42.840 Tonight, Iran's navy is gone.

00:02:47.120 Their air force is in ruins.

00:02:49.780 Their leaders, most of them, terrorist regime they led, are now dead.

00:02:57.940 Their command and control of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is being decimated as we speak.

00:03:05.540 Their ability to launch missiles and drones is dramatically curtailed,

00:03:10.540 tailed and their weapons, factories, and rocket launchers are being blown to pieces. Very few of

00:03:16.980 them left. Never in the history of warfare has an enemy suffered such clear and devastating

00:03:22.240 large-scale losses in a matter of weeks. The address coming as a slate of recent

00:03:27.800 polling shows most Americans are not on board with the war effort. New polling from the economist

00:03:33.220 YouGov finding twice as many Americans oppose the war as those who support it. 28 percent of adults

00:03:40.120 support compared to 59% who are opposed. In this poll, 54% of Republicans identifying as MAGA,

00:03:48.660 29% say they're not MAGA, 17% are unsure. Among Republicans self-identifying as non-MAGA,

00:03:56.900 just 33% support the war, 56% oppose. Those numbers flipping dramatically from just two

00:04:04.240 weeks ago when 56% of non-MAGA Republicans favored the war. 79% of MAGA Republicans still

00:04:11.280 support the president, 8% oppose his war efforts. Among independents, just 19% are in favor of the

00:04:18.220 war compared to 63% against. As thousands of U.S. troops have been moved into the region over the

00:04:24.680 last several weeks, questions mounting over whether the president is preparing to put boots on the

00:04:29.820 ground, potentially pulling the U.S. further into another prolonged Middle East quagmire.

00:04:35.680 In last night's address, the president stopping short of announcing any ground troop actions,

00:04:39.920 but extending the war's timeline beyond the original four to five weeks,

00:04:44.440 teasing what's about to happen over the next two to three weeks.

00:04:48.120 We are on track to complete all of America's military objectives shortly, very shortly.

00:04:54.560 We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks.

00:04:59.240 we're going to bring them back to the stone ages where they belong in the meantime discussions are

00:05:06.240 ongoing regime change was not our goal we never said regime change but regime change has occurred

00:05:13.580 because of all of their original leaders death they're all dead the new group is less radical

00:05:22.200 and much more reasonable yet if during this period of time no deal is made we have our eyes

00:05:28.180 on key targets. If there is no deal, we are going to hit each and every one of their

00:05:33.740 electric generating plants very hard and probably simultaneously. We have not hit their oil,

00:05:40.760 even though that's the easiest target of all, because it would not give them even a small

00:05:46.100 chance of survival or rebuilding. Just 14 percent of Americans are in favor of boots on the ground

00:05:53.080 in Iran, according to the economist YouGov. A full-scale ground invasion gets half that number.

00:05:59.480 Only 7% support that, according to a Reuters-Ipsos poll. Despite the relentless attacks on Iranian

00:06:05.860 military infrastructure, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard managing to keep the Strait of Hormuz

00:06:11.520 closed to the vast majority of its usual traffic. Amid this shortage, the U.S. national gas average

00:06:17.860 spiking above $4 per gallon this week, the highest since 2022. According to a new CNN poll,

00:06:25.180 President Trump's approval rating on handling the economy down to a new low, now at 31 percent.

00:06:31.800 65 percent of Americans, the highest of Mr. Trump's presidency, now say the president's

00:06:37.220 policies have made the economy worse. That's a higher percentage feeling that way than at any

00:06:42.380 point under former President Biden. Mr. Trump addressing economic concerns last night.

00:06:47.220 Many Americans have been concerned to see the recent rise in gasoline prices here at home.

00:06:54.000 This short-term increase has been entirely the result of the Iranian regime launching deranged terror attacks against commercial oil tankers in neighboring countries that have nothing to do with the conflict.

00:07:06.780 The United States has never been better prepared economically to confront this threat.

00:07:11.380 You all know that we built the strongest economy in history.

00:07:15.480 We were a dead and crippled country after the last administration and made it the hottest country anywhere in the world by far with no inflation, record-setting investments coming into the United States, over $18 trillion, and the highest stock market ever, with 53 all-time record highs in just one year.

00:07:38.760 it all positioned us to get rid of a cancer that has long simmered. It's known as the

00:07:45.080 nuclear Iran. Remember, because of our Drill Baby Drill program, America has plenty of gas. 0.91

00:07:51.340 We have so much gas. We are number one producer of oil and gas on the planet.

00:07:57.280 The president saying the U.S. does not need Middle Eastern oil, touting a fruitful new 0.99

00:08:01.940 relationship with Venezuelan leadership following the U.S. military's capture of its former leader,

00:08:06.960 leading to increased oil production. The president attempting at various points

00:08:11.360 since the start of the operation to bring NATO allies into the effort, those efforts

00:08:16.300 largely falling short. The president expressing public frustration with NATO allies who are only

00:08:22.160 obligated to help a fellow member when an armed attack has been launched on that member by a

00:08:27.860 non-NATO country, even suggesting Tuesday he is considering leaving the alliance.

00:08:32.900 Last night, the president urging countries that rely on the Strait of Hormuz

00:08:36.700 to take a more active role in securing it.

00:08:39.780 The countries of the world that do receive oil through the Hormuz Strait

00:08:44.000 must take care of that passage.

00:08:46.380 They must cherish it.

00:08:47.640 They must grab it and cherish it.

00:08:50.100 They can do it easily.

00:08:51.920 We will be helpful, but they should take the lead in protecting the oil

00:08:56.340 that they so desperately depend on.

00:08:58.800 So to those countries that can't get fuel,

00:09:02.100 many of which refuse to get involved in the decapitation of Iran,

00:09:06.120 we had to do it ourselves. I have a suggestion. Number one, buy oil from the United States of

00:09:12.220 America. We have plenty. We have so much. And number two, build up some delayed courage.

00:09:17.700 Should have done it before. Should have done it with us, as we asked. Go to the strait and just

00:09:22.920 take it. Protect it. Use it for yourselves. Iran has been essentially decimated. The hard part is 0.83

00:09:31.440 done, so it should be easy. We'll have more analysis later today on The MK Show.

00:09:38.080 Coming up, a federal judge orders the Trump administration to reinstate legal status for

00:09:43.080 thousands of migrants who entered the U.S. through the Biden-era CBP-1 app. And NASA's

00:09:49.560 Artemis II mission is officially underway. The crew now hours into a mission that could take

00:09:54.780 them farther from Earth than any humans in history have traveled.

00:10:01.440 everybody's talking about weight loss injections because the results can be so dramatic they work

00:10:11.120 by lowering blood sugar and reducing appetite but what if you're looking to lose weight but

00:10:15.580 you're not interested in painful weekly injections especially when you hear about some of those

00:10:20.300 intense side effects that's why doctors created a weight loss supplement called lean and the results

00:10:26.520 could be remarkable. Lean says the studied ingredients in their product have been shown

00:10:31.880 to lower your blood sugar, burn fat by converting it into energy, and curb your appetite and

00:10:37.400 cravings so you are not as hungry. But listen, Lean is not for the casual dieter with only a

00:10:43.040 few pounds to lose. The doctors at Brickhouse Nutrition created Lean for frustrated dieters 0.87

00:11:07.640 Trump administration unlawfully stripped legal status from tens of thousands of migrants who

00:11:13.020 entered the U.S. using the Biden-era CBP1 app. Obama appointed Judge Allison D. Burroughs of

00:11:20.160 the federal district court in Massachusetts ordering the administration to reinstate the

00:11:24.960 lawful parole status pending asylum hearing for migrants who had such status revoked through an

00:11:30.840 April 2025 mass termination email. The order applying to those who used the app between

00:11:36.480 May 2023 and January 2025 and who remain in the U.S. The CBP-1 app created under the Biden

00:11:44.360 administration was meant to manage what had become a full-blown surge at the southern border

00:11:49.180 with thousands of migrants arriving daily, overwhelming both border agents and ports of

00:11:54.380 entry. Facing mounting pressure to get a handle on the chaos, the administration rolling out the

00:11:59.380 CBP-1 app, directing migrants seeking asylum to schedule appointments at legal ports of entry

00:12:05.120 instead of crossing illegally. At its peak, the program processing roughly 1,450 migrants per day

00:12:11.980 through scheduled app-based entry, according to the New York Times. Those approved, typically

00:12:17.820 receiving two years of temporary parole, allowing them to live in the U.S. without being deported,

00:12:23.360 many even granted work permits. Roughly 900,000 people gaining legal status in the U.S.

00:12:29.300 through the controversial program. One of President Trump's first actions upon returning

00:12:34.020 to office was shutting down the CBP-1 system, later repurposing it into the CBP Home app,

00:12:41.320 aimed at encouraging voluntary self-deportation. In April 2025, the administration sending a

00:12:47.660 mass message to many CBP-1 users, informing them their parole was terminated, telling

00:12:53.520 recipients, quote, it's time for you to leave the U.S. Unless it expires sooner, your parole

00:12:58.780 will terminate seven days from the date of this notice. Do not attempt to remain in the

00:13:03.260 United States. The federal government will find you. That move prompting a lawsuit from

00:13:08.540 migrants from Venezuela, Cuba, and Haiti, arguing the action violated the Administrative Procedure

00:13:14.400 Act, a federal law requiring agencies to follow process and to justify their actions. The Trump

00:13:20.260 administration arguing it had broad authority to terminate parole and was simply exercising

00:13:25.180 its discretion to end a Biden-era program it viewed as unlawful. Ultimately, Judge Burroughs

00:13:31.300 siding with the plaintiffs, ruling that while the administration does have the authority to

00:13:35.920 terminate parole, it did not follow its own procedures in doing so here. Quote,

00:13:41.320 When defendants terminated the impacted non-citizens' parole without observing the

00:13:46.120 process mandated by statute and by their own regulations, they took action that was not

00:13:51.600 in accordance with law. DHS blasting the ruling in a statement to AM Update,

00:13:56.760 We disagree with this blatant judicial activism undermining the president's Article 2 authority

00:14:02.040 to determine who remains in this country. We spoke with CEO and co-founder of The Federalist,

00:14:07.880 Sean Davis, who says this ruling amounts to legislating from the bench.

00:14:12.600 The judge in Boston effectively created her own law in order to justify her decision. 1.00

00:14:18.180 Under the law, with the attorney general, can allow people into the U.S. on a case-by-case

00:14:23.640 basis on temporary parole while their claims of asylum are investigated, and that when

00:14:30.840 the attorney general feels that that parole is no longer necessary, he or she has the

00:14:35.820 sole discretion to terminate the parole, send the individual back to the country he or she came from.

00:14:41.760 What the judge in this case decided was, well, yeah, it says that the AG has discretion to grant

00:14:49.600 parole, but we think the judiciary has the authority to determine whether the parole should

00:14:57.720 have been terminated. And it is a complete inversion of the law. This judge out of nowhere

00:15:03.440 created a right to judicial review that simply does not exist in the law.

00:15:08.920 Dave is calling this the latest example of a broader pattern of judicial overreach.

00:15:13.520 The real tragedy of these types of lawless decisions from unelected, low-level district

00:15:20.280 judges around the country is what they are effectively doing is they are crippling the

00:15:25.080 administration of justice and the execution of the laws which solely belong to the president.

00:15:29.260 And it may be some small comfort to people to know that, oh, in a year or two or maybe three or maybe even after Trump is gone, that eventually the law will prevail and these lawless judges will be smacked down.

00:15:43.820 But the problem is you can't get that time back.

00:15:46.440 And it is a perfect example of why you cannot have a nation that is basically ruled by hundreds of unelected district judges.

00:15:55.080 If the founders had wanted the president to have to get unanimous consent from unelected inferior judges, they would have put that in the Constitution.

00:16:04.700 But they didn't.

00:16:05.600 And so I view these types of decisions as just a total abomination and a lawless takeover of power that was never actually granted to the judiciary.

00:16:15.360 An historic return to deep space now underway.

00:16:18.800 For the first time in more than 50 years, astronauts are on their way back to the moon.

00:16:24.280 NASA's Artemis II officially lifting off after a tense countdown marked by multiple last-minute issues.

00:16:31.700 About 90 minutes before launch, engineers identifying concerns with a critical safety feature,

00:16:37.060 the Flight Termination System, or FTS.

00:16:40.420 The FTS essentially allowing engineers on the ground to self-destruct the rocket

00:16:45.080 if it deviates from course during takeoff in a manner that could present a threat to public safety.

00:16:51.000 Sounds disconcerting for the astronauts.

00:16:53.520 With some troubleshooting, NASA resolving the issue.

00:16:56.560 Self-destruct abilities restored, so yay.

00:16:59.780 At 6.22 p.m., each team involved in the mission giving the official go for the launch.

00:17:04.880 Then at 6.35 p.m., the twin solid rocket boosters igniting.

00:17:08.640 These two rockets responsible for 75% of the thrust required

00:17:12.900 to lift the 32-story, 5.75 million-pound Space Launch System, or SLS, rocket.

00:17:20.340 And then, moments later, about one minute into the flight, the Artemis II already surpassing

00:17:34.600 the speed of sound. Several hours into the mission, the Orion capsule carrying the crew,

00:17:39.740 separating from the rocket that carried it into space. The astronauts now settling into the first

00:17:45.140 phase of a 10-day mission that could push them farther into space than mankind has ever been

00:17:50.380 before. The current record set by Apollo 13 in 1970, which got 248,655 miles from Earth.

00:18:00.880 Today's task involving orbiting the Earth while testing critical onboard systems,

00:18:05.400 including life support, communications, and navigation. Days two to four, the journey

00:18:10.360 toward the moon. By day five, the moon's gravity takes over as the dominant force guiding the

00:18:16.440 spacecraft. Then, on day six, the crew expected to reach the closest it will get to the moon

00:18:21.600 and the farthest it will get from Earth. On day seven, the return begins, the crew using the

00:18:27.340 moon's gravity to slingshot around it. No fuel required. We need some of that here. Day nine

00:18:33.840 marks the last full day in space, the crew preparing for re-entry and splashdown somewhere

00:18:38.680 in the Pacific, while traveling 25,000 miles per hour. The U.S. Navy will be on standby to

00:18:45.300 retrieve the crew. Godspeed, Artemis II. And that'll do it for your AM Update. I'm
