00:00:00.000 When I found out my friend got a great deal
00:00:02.160 on a wool coat from Winners,
00:00:03.760 I started wondering,
00:00:05.440 is every fabulous item I see from Winners?
00:00:08.560 Like that woman over there with the designer jeans.
00:00:11.260 Are those from Winners?
00:00:12.780 Ooh, or those beautiful gold earrings?
00:00:15.260 Did she pay full price?
00:00:16.600 Or that leather tote?
00:00:17.620 Or that cashmere sweater?
00:00:18.840 Or those knee-high boots?
00:00:20.280 That dress?
00:00:21.060 That jacket?
00:00:21.740 Those shoes?
00:00:22.760 Is anyone paying full price for anything?
00:00:25.720 Stop wondering.
00:00:26.980 Start winning.
00:00:27.920 Winners.
00:00:28.500 Find fabulous for less.
00:00:30.660 Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show,
00:00:32.540 live on Sirius XM Channel 111 every weekday at New East.
00:00:42.200 Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly.
00:00:43.980 Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show,
00:00:45.240 live from Montana,
00:00:47.120 day four of our trip here to Montana.
00:00:50.100 And the news today is absolutely out there.
00:00:53.820 We've got probably the most bizarre
00:00:56.200 but compelling set of headlines
00:00:58.180 we've had on the show in a while.
00:01:00.180 Don Lemon goes on CNN after it fires him
00:01:03.260 to complain about his new boss,
00:01:05.720 Elon Musk.
00:01:08.580 Okay, we'll get to that.
00:01:09.780 That'll be really fun with the guys
00:01:11.380 from Ruthless who are coming up.
00:01:13.120 Plus, we're going to dive into new polling
00:01:15.020 that shows absolutely zero bump
00:01:17.400 for President Biden
00:01:18.620 after his big State of the Union address.
00:01:21.020 Wait, the yelling didn't work?
00:01:22.440 What do you mean?
00:01:22.920 I thought that mainstream media told us
00:01:24.680 this was like the thing
00:01:25.920 that was going to turn it all around.
00:01:27.220 Well, the latest polls show,
00:01:28.460 Trump has gone up, if anything.
00:01:30.920 But first, as the nation awaits,
00:01:33.140 Fulton County Superior Judge
00:01:34.880 Scott McAfee's decision
00:01:37.300 on whether to disqualify
00:01:39.100 Fannie Willis from prosecuting
00:01:40.500 former President Donald Trump,
00:01:41.760 among others.
00:01:42.720 The judge issued a different
00:01:44.800 blockbuster ruling yesterday.
00:01:46.480 And I'm sure you heard about this,
00:01:48.340 maybe on some other news sources.
00:01:49.540 He dismissed six counts
00:01:51.060 of the indictment
00:01:51.740 against some of the Trump defendants.
00:01:53.660 It dismissed three against Trump.
00:01:56.200 And what's really interesting,
00:01:58.260 because the case still lives
00:01:59.380 against Trump and the others
00:02:00.520 in Atlanta,
00:02:02.180 but that decision
00:02:04.460 may provide some tea leaves
00:02:06.400 regarding which way
00:02:07.780 he's leaning on Fannie.
00:02:10.840 You know, it's not 100% clear.
00:02:12.520 I'll just outline the ruling
00:02:13.720 just a little bit.
00:02:14.500 And then joining me in one second
00:02:15.480 is going to be Alan Dershowitz.
00:02:17.280 But basically, he said
00:02:18.380 that Fannie and Nathan
00:02:20.340 failed to draft an indictment
00:02:22.980 that really stated
00:02:23.980 an adequate cause
00:02:25.640 that the defendants could understand
00:02:27.420 in six of the counts.
00:02:29.160 They were supposed to provide them notice
00:02:30.840 with what they were being charged with.
00:02:32.680 And it was a violation
00:02:33.980 of the Constitution.
00:02:36.840 Well, said Judge McAfee,
00:02:39.520 you're going to have to be
00:02:40.480 a little bit more specific than that,
00:02:42.420 because that could include
00:02:44.140 hundreds of provisions
00:02:45.600 in the Constitution,
00:02:47.300 and that's inadequate drafting.
00:02:49.400 So those counts are now gone,
00:02:51.300 though, if Fannie Willis
00:02:52.880 or whoever's prosecuting this case
00:02:54.600 wants to try to go back
00:02:56.120 in front of another grand jury
00:02:57.320 and get them reindicted,
00:03:00.400 more carefully drafted,
00:03:02.420 she can.
00:03:03.220 That's required under Georgia law.
00:03:05.680 Under federal law,
00:03:06.900 you could just redraft your indictment.
00:03:09.640 But under Georgia law,
00:03:10.660 the judge pointed out,
00:03:12.060 you have to go all the way back
00:03:13.720 in front of a new grand jury.
00:03:15.300 And right now,
00:03:15.620 the whole case is paused
00:03:16.960 as they're dealing
00:03:18.400 with the disqualification issue.
00:03:21.200 And that's where I want to begin
00:03:22.840 with my first guest today.
00:03:26.920 Professor Emeritus
00:03:27.740 of Harvard Law School
00:03:28.620 and host of The Durs Show podcast,
00:03:31.260 Alan Durshowitz.
00:03:32.160 Professor, great to have you here.
00:03:33.500 How are you doing this morning?
00:03:34.440 I'm doing great.
00:03:35.200 But, you know,
00:03:35.580 really, it's the judge
00:03:36.440 who's on trial now.
00:03:37.300 Everybody in America knows
00:03:38.640 that Fannie Willis
00:03:39.500 and her boyfriend
00:03:40.780 and her witness lied.
00:03:43.200 The real issue
00:03:44.160 was whether they should
00:03:44.880 be prosecuted, disbarred,
00:03:46.880 prosecuted for perjury,
00:03:48.500 for conspiracy,
00:03:49.420 for obstruction of justice.
00:03:50.600 Nobody watching
00:03:51.300 those testimony
00:03:52.040 could believe a word of that.
00:03:54.000 I mean, you have these pings
00:03:55.140 of the cell towers
00:03:56.720 showing that he's near her house
00:03:58.960 at 10 o'clock at night,
00:04:00.480 that he leaves at 4 in the morning.
00:04:01.860 They were not playing Scrabble.
00:04:03.420 And this was well before
00:04:04.680 she hired him at $700,000.
00:04:08.200 If this judge believes them,
00:04:10.620 it will really
00:04:11.540 disserve the interests
00:04:12.920 of justice.
00:04:14.220 Everybody knows
00:04:15.200 that they're lying.
00:04:16.420 And therefore,
00:04:16.940 there is a real conflict
00:04:18.420 of interest.
00:04:19.420 But I suspect the judge
00:04:20.500 is not going to have
00:04:21.120 the courage to find that.
00:04:23.300 Maybe he'll find
00:04:23.980 an apparent conflict
00:04:24.920 or a possible conflict
00:04:26.380 or an appearance,
00:04:27.800 but that may not be enough
00:04:29.020 under Georgia law.
00:04:29.860 So it's Georgia
00:04:30.560 that's on trial now.
00:04:32.060 It's the judge
00:04:33.080 who's on trial.
00:04:33.900 And we're a long way
00:04:35.380 from Donald Trump
00:04:36.680 and his co-defendants
00:04:38.880 being on trial.
00:04:39.800 It's really a funny Willis
00:04:41.100 who's on trial
00:04:41.800 and the judge.
00:04:42.500 Yeah, we certainly are.
00:04:44.060 I mean, eventually,
00:04:44.940 maybe we'll get back
00:04:45.800 to Donald Trump
00:04:46.480 if she survives
00:04:47.820 and if her case survives
00:04:49.040 eventually,
00:04:49.840 but it's not going to be
00:04:50.540 pre-election at this point.
00:04:52.220 So let me ask you
00:04:53.060 about this, Professor.
00:04:54.220 Paul Sperry,
00:04:55.480 he gets a lot of scoops.
00:04:57.220 We've had him on the show before.
00:04:58.200 He does these deep investigations
00:04:59.520 for Real Clear.
00:05:00.160 And he's sent out
00:05:02.740 a couple of tweets
00:05:03.620 citing a source
00:05:04.880 close to the judge.
00:05:06.340 Now, we don't know
00:05:07.500 whether this person
00:05:08.400 actually is in a position
00:05:10.380 to know what the judge
00:05:11.280 is thinking,
00:05:12.020 but the second tweet,
00:05:13.160 we brought the first one
00:05:13.900 to our audience last week,
00:05:15.000 the second Paul Sperry tweet
00:05:16.540 reads as follows.
00:05:18.780 Judge McAfee
00:05:19.720 views cell phone data
00:05:21.940 and the Terrence Bradley texts
00:05:23.740 as suggestive
00:05:25.400 but not dispositive
00:05:27.000 or as enough proof
00:05:29.540 to settle the matter,
00:05:31.180 according to an Atlanta attorney
00:05:32.520 familiar with his thinking.
00:05:34.240 Texts provide no insight
00:05:36.600 into how Terrence Bradley
00:05:38.020 would know,
00:05:39.900 meaning that they had an affair
00:05:41.080 long before 2022.
00:05:42.640 Did he see them?
00:05:44.240 Wade told him.
00:05:46.240 Now, that is an interesting thought
00:05:48.660 that the judge
00:05:49.420 is getting ready
00:05:50.220 to dismiss evidence
00:05:51.840 of the cell phone data,
00:05:53.800 that many texts
00:05:54.600 between these two
00:05:55.380 long before they admit
00:05:56.580 their affair took place
00:05:57.680 and the middle-of-the-night visits
00:05:59.820 as the texts
00:06:00.820 seem to suggest
00:06:02.140 and so on,
00:06:03.220 and also Bradley's texts
00:06:06.060 to Nathan Wade
00:06:08.380 or to Ashley Merchant
00:06:10.000 saying, you know,
00:06:11.020 it began well before
00:06:12.120 because he's saying
00:06:13.220 the texts don't actually show
00:06:14.520 Bradley had personal knowledge
00:06:16.040 of it.
00:06:16.260 It could have been speculation.
00:06:18.840 If any of that is true,
00:06:20.280 how do you see it?
00:06:22.260 That's just dead wrong.
00:06:23.380 There are people on death row
00:06:24.560 I have a client in prison
00:06:26.040 on far, far less compelling evidence
00:06:28.920 of pings and tweets
00:06:30.840 and self-hours.
00:06:32.020 She put people in prison
00:06:33.440 based on that.
00:06:34.120 If this judge
00:06:34.960 doesn't conclude
00:06:36.380 beyond any doubt
00:06:37.820 that there was
00:06:39.660 an improper relationship,
00:06:41.360 also,
00:06:42.180 is there any doubt
00:06:43.260 that she never paid back
00:06:44.420 the money?
00:06:45.280 What lawyer
00:06:46.340 who has to comply
00:06:48.040 with ethics rules
00:06:49.080 would ever not have a record
00:06:50.820 of paying back money?
00:06:51.740 You have bank deposits,
00:06:53.440 withdrawals,
00:06:54.080 you have a photograph
00:06:54.780 of the money being paid,
00:06:55.960 but for her to make up
00:06:57.020 a story that she
00:06:58.000 paid the money back
00:06:59.260 and has one piece
00:07:00.040 of evidence
00:07:00.500 that once she paid
00:07:02.180 for a wine tasting
00:07:03.760 with cash,
00:07:05.300 there are so many people
00:07:06.740 in prison
00:07:07.280 for long term
00:07:08.220 on less evidence
00:07:09.160 than that.
00:07:10.020 If this judge
00:07:10.800 doesn't believe that
00:07:11.980 or says he doesn't believe it,
00:07:13.040 he wouldn't be telling
00:07:13.700 the truth.
00:07:14.360 I can tell you
00:07:15.080 with 100% certainty
00:07:16.560 that this judge
00:07:17.920 sitting there
00:07:18.440 knows absolutely
00:07:20.200 that this affair
00:07:21.520 occurred before,
00:07:22.640 that the money
00:07:23.120 wasn't paid back,
00:07:24.240 that they committed perjury,
00:07:25.620 that they conspired
00:07:26.360 to commit perjury.
00:07:27.520 But judges sometimes
00:07:28.460 pretend that they
00:07:30.020 don't believe testimony
00:07:31.260 or believe testimony
00:07:32.160 in order to spare themselves.
00:07:33.820 He doesn't want to look
00:07:34.500 the elected DA in the eye
00:07:35.700 and say,
00:07:36.480 you're a perjurer,
00:07:37.140 you should be in prison.
00:07:38.540 But there's absolutely
00:07:40.020 no doubt
00:07:41.300 that there's enough here
00:07:42.660 to disqualify.
00:07:44.160 And if he doesn't disqualify,
00:07:45.440 this whole case
00:07:47.180 will be subject
00:07:49.740 to all kinds
00:07:50.820 of criticism,
00:07:51.580 not only in the court
00:07:52.500 of public opinion,
00:07:53.620 but in the courts
00:07:54.300 of law as well.
00:07:55.160 I hope the judge
00:07:55.760 does the right thing,
00:07:56.560 but I've said
00:07:56.960 from the beginning,
00:07:57.560 I don't think he will.
00:07:58.400 I don't think he has the guts.
00:07:59.860 I don't think he has the courage
00:08:01.060 to tell the truth.
00:08:02.780 And I think he'll find a way
00:08:04.480 to weasel out of this thing
00:08:05.900 to say,
00:08:06.680 oh, well,
00:08:07.400 the cell tower,
00:08:08.380 who are you going to believe?
00:08:09.620 Me or your lying eyes?
00:08:11.340 Look,
00:08:11.840 she and he
00:08:12.980 had an affair
00:08:14.080 before they were appointed.
00:08:15.440 That is absolutely clear.
00:08:18.480 And her testimony
00:08:19.160 under oath
00:08:19.720 is perjury.
00:08:20.920 The evidence
00:08:21.300 is overwhelming
00:08:22.160 as to that.
00:08:23.520 And if the judge
00:08:24.080 pretends not to believe it,
00:08:26.240 there's a bridge
00:08:27.760 in Brooklyn
00:08:28.180 that I could sell him
00:08:29.060 as well.
00:08:29.500 But judges do that
00:08:30.280 all the time.
00:08:31.200 You know,
00:08:31.520 cops arrest people.
00:08:33.600 They say the drug dealer
00:08:34.800 dropped the drugs
00:08:36.120 on the floor.
00:08:36.700 That's lie number seven
00:08:37.900 on the list
00:08:38.480 of 10 lies.
00:08:39.920 Dropsy testimony.
00:08:41.300 And I've looked
00:08:41.820 in the eyes of judges
00:08:42.740 and they say,
00:08:43.180 well,
00:08:43.300 we believe this testimony.
00:08:44.520 And then,
00:08:45.500 you know,
00:08:45.800 two years later
00:08:46.440 after court,
00:08:47.020 you talk to the judge
00:08:47.840 and they'll say,
00:08:48.580 of course I never believed it.
00:08:49.620 Of course I knew
00:08:50.140 who was lying.
00:08:50.700 But I,
00:08:51.240 you know,
00:08:51.420 the person was guilty
00:08:52.380 and I just didn't want
00:08:53.420 the person to get off.
00:08:54.560 Judges play that game
00:08:55.840 all the time.
00:08:56.520 And if this judge
00:08:57.280 tries to play that game now,
00:08:59.360 a lot of lawyers
00:09:00.200 and a lot of people
00:09:01.040 like you and me
00:09:01.640 are going to be after him
00:09:02.600 because it will be
00:09:03.960 a disgrace
00:09:04.560 to the judicial system
00:09:05.780 if she's allowed
00:09:06.760 to continue.
00:09:07.520 It's a disgrace
00:09:08.400 to the legal system
00:09:09.180 if she's not disbarred
00:09:10.960 and not put in jail.
00:09:12.000 And I hope the people
00:09:12.780 of Fulton County
00:09:13.860 have enough sense
00:09:14.680 to throw her out of office
00:09:15.980 at least when it comes
00:09:16.820 to an election.
00:09:18.400 All right.
00:09:18.560 A couple of questions
00:09:19.120 on that.
00:09:20.000 Could the judge,
00:09:20.740 because I do want
00:09:21.320 to talk about
00:09:21.740 what import we glean
00:09:22.720 from the dismissal
00:09:23.660 of those six counts.
00:09:24.840 I mean,
00:09:25.220 but let me just table
00:09:26.140 that for one second.
00:09:27.320 Let's table it for one second
00:09:28.160 and ask you,
00:09:28.900 do you think
00:09:29.940 there's a way
00:09:30.980 in which this judge
00:09:31.780 could say,
00:09:33.380 I'm not going
00:09:34.680 to kick her off
00:09:35.300 this case.
00:09:36.360 I'm not going
00:09:37.000 to maybe even kick
00:09:37.900 Nathan Wade off the case,
00:09:39.040 though I think,
00:09:39.580 you know,
00:09:39.780 most people agree
00:09:40.400 he's probably gone.
00:09:41.240 But let's say he says,
00:09:42.680 I'm not going
00:09:43.420 to kick them off the case.
00:09:44.780 Any disciplinary matters
00:09:46.440 involving their misleading
00:09:48.960 of this court
00:09:50.120 really are a matter
00:09:51.640 for the bar.
00:09:52.720 And so I don't know.
00:09:53.560 I don't approve it.
00:09:54.480 I don't like it,
00:09:55.280 but I don't see his grounds
00:09:56.300 for disqualification.
00:09:57.320 This is really just
00:09:57.940 an ethical matter
00:09:58.720 for the bar.
00:10:00.480 He could say that
00:10:01.640 that would be a cop out,
00:10:03.280 but he could say that.
00:10:04.780 And also,
00:10:05.400 I think his dismissal
00:10:06.340 of the six counts
00:10:07.700 basically was a message
00:10:09.420 by,
00:10:09.980 see,
00:10:10.200 I'm fair.
00:10:11.100 I don't rule
00:10:11.920 in favor of her
00:10:12.820 every time.
00:10:13.660 I took that dismissal
00:10:15.120 of the six counts
00:10:15.860 as a signal
00:10:16.960 that he was not
00:10:17.620 going to disqualify
00:10:18.380 the whole office.
00:10:19.420 Otherwise,
00:10:19.880 he would have waited
00:10:20.660 to see
00:10:21.660 whether the new office
00:10:23.640 was going to stand
00:10:24.980 by that
00:10:25.540 or maybe reindict.
00:10:27.000 So I think
00:10:27.960 that your source
00:10:28.720 is probably correct.
00:10:29.780 And,
00:10:30.300 you know,
00:10:30.760 I think it was Levin
00:10:32.040 on Fox News
00:10:33.300 who called me
00:10:33.740 the Nostradamus
00:10:34.900 of lawyers
00:10:37.100 because I get
00:10:37.840 my predictions
00:10:38.340 right all the time
00:10:39.100 because I don't make
00:10:39.640 predictions based
00:10:40.300 on wishful thinking.
00:10:41.820 So my prediction here
00:10:43.320 is that he's going
00:10:43.920 to figure out a way
00:10:44.900 of not completely
00:10:46.100 and totally
00:10:46.760 disqualifying them.
00:10:48.340 Maybe he'll say
00:10:48.800 there's an appearance,
00:10:49.840 but the appearance
00:10:50.640 isn't enough
00:10:51.340 under the law.
00:10:53.520 But whatever he says,
00:10:55.080 if he suggests
00:10:56.600 that you can believe
00:10:58.560 anything she said,
00:10:59.860 he should not be
00:11:00.540 on the bench
00:11:01.040 because he would not
00:11:02.060 be telling the truth.
00:11:03.260 He does not believe her.
00:11:05.320 I guarantee you
00:11:06.340 he's smart enough.
00:11:07.860 Do you know anybody
00:11:08.900 who actually,
00:11:09.420 even CNN,
00:11:10.720 even CNN,
00:11:12.300 many of their
00:11:12.960 legal commentators
00:11:13.940 who were always wrong
00:11:15.120 say they didn't believe her.
00:11:16.840 They didn't believe him.
00:11:17.360 It's not enough here
00:11:18.020 to disqualify,
00:11:19.000 but we don't believe her.
00:11:19.940 If you don't believe her,
00:11:21.080 she's committed perjury.
00:11:22.420 And if you don't believe
00:11:23.400 both of them,
00:11:24.100 they've committed
00:11:24.660 perjury,
00:11:25.620 obstruction of justice,
00:11:26.640 and conspiracy
00:11:27.380 to commit perjury.
00:11:28.440 Again,
00:11:28.740 let me emphasize
00:11:29.560 one more time.
00:11:30.900 She put people
00:11:31.940 in prison
00:11:32.500 on less evidence
00:11:33.600 than is now
00:11:34.440 against her.
00:11:35.740 What hypocrisy.
00:11:37.620 All right.
00:11:38.180 So the judge
00:11:39.160 issues this decision
00:11:40.160 dismissing six counts
00:11:41.280 of the indictment.
00:11:42.340 I agree.
00:11:43.100 My first instinct
00:11:43.840 when I saw it
00:11:44.420 was he's trying to show
00:11:45.540 I did something
00:11:46.860 that was good for Trump.
00:11:48.480 And then maybe
00:11:49.660 later this week
00:11:50.380 he's going to say,
00:11:51.180 and I did something
00:11:51.920 that was good
00:11:52.560 for Trump's prosecutor
00:11:53.520 by keeping
00:11:54.340 Fannie Willis
00:11:55.000 on the case.
00:11:56.100 I think we can
00:11:57.140 probably glean
00:11:58.800 he's definitely
00:11:59.760 not going to grant
00:12:00.400 the motion
00:12:00.940 to dismiss this case
00:12:02.160 entirely because
00:12:03.300 of Fannie's alleged
00:12:04.120 conflict because
00:12:05.260 why else would he be
00:12:06.280 reducing six counts
00:12:08.000 from it?
00:12:09.060 Yeah.
00:12:09.280 That's the right decision.
00:12:10.320 I don't think he dismissed
00:12:11.140 this whole case.
00:12:11.860 Yeah.
00:12:12.460 Yeah.
00:12:12.740 All right.
00:12:13.000 So that's that.
00:12:13.920 Here's another thing
00:12:14.820 that we found
00:12:15.400 this soundbite
00:12:16.020 from the judge
00:12:16.720 speaking with
00:12:17.680 the local radio station
00:12:18.900 last week.
00:12:20.180 And he was being
00:12:21.320 asked, Alan,
00:12:22.280 about his new
00:12:23.700 left-wing challenger
00:12:25.940 to his judge seat
00:12:27.500 which he's now
00:12:28.480 got to run
00:12:28.860 for re-election on.
00:12:29.660 He was unchallenged
00:12:30.700 and then at the last
00:12:31.740 minute this guy
00:12:32.760 who's from the
00:12:33.220 Rainbow Push
00:12:33.860 Jesse Jackson
00:12:34.540 coalition
00:12:35.020 throws his hat
00:12:35.980 in the ring
00:12:36.320 and he's now
00:12:36.720 challenging him
00:12:37.560 from the left.
00:12:38.600 And he was asked
00:12:39.620 about that
00:12:40.660 and how if at all
00:12:41.480 it might weigh
00:12:42.200 on his decision
00:12:43.020 over Fannie
00:12:43.980 and here's what
00:12:45.120 he said.
00:12:46.500 I've had a rough
00:12:47.300 draft and an outline
00:12:48.400 before I ever
00:12:49.660 heard a rumor
00:12:50.240 that someone wanted
00:12:51.180 to run for this
00:12:51.740 position.
00:12:52.280 So the result
00:12:52.880 is not going
00:12:53.820 to change
00:12:54.480 because of politics.
00:12:55.760 I'm calling it
00:12:56.880 as best I can
00:12:58.100 in the law
00:12:58.620 as I understand it.
00:13:01.420 Okay.
00:13:02.100 Now my very smart
00:13:03.700 law school friend
00:13:04.600 who listens to the
00:13:05.440 show every day,
00:13:06.740 she's a lawyer
00:13:07.220 like you and I are,
00:13:08.500 and she says
00:13:10.020 she thinks from that
00:13:12.040 and I think
00:13:12.540 she's got a good
00:13:13.100 point.
00:13:14.520 The only reason
00:13:15.520 he would remind us
00:13:17.420 that he had
00:13:18.540 drafted a decision
00:13:20.840 before he got
00:13:22.320 the challenge
00:13:22.820 from the left
00:13:23.520 would be if he's
00:13:25.100 about to rule
00:13:26.080 that Fannie
00:13:27.100 can stay
00:13:27.560 on the case
00:13:28.160 because he
00:13:29.260 wouldn't need
00:13:29.780 to reassure us
00:13:30.840 that he had
00:13:32.440 drafted anything
00:13:33.340 to, you know,
00:13:34.360 deal with a competitor
00:13:35.340 if it was going
00:13:36.060 to be against
00:13:37.040 Fannie, right?
00:13:37.780 Like, he wouldn't
00:13:38.700 draft an opinion
00:13:39.260 getting rid of Fannie
00:13:40.180 in order to
00:13:40.600 appease the left.
00:13:42.000 So I do,
00:13:43.360 I think she might
00:13:44.000 be on to something
00:13:44.660 there that that
00:13:45.660 statement may have
00:13:46.980 telegraphed he's
00:13:47.900 about to rule
00:13:48.640 in favor of Fannie
00:13:49.560 Willis staying
00:13:50.060 on the case.
00:13:50.500 What do you think?
00:13:50.920 I agree with that.
00:13:52.400 I think all the
00:13:53.120 signs point in
00:13:54.140 that direction
00:13:54.840 and all the law
00:13:56.440 and the facts
00:13:57.000 point in the
00:13:57.560 opposite direction,
00:13:58.380 but I don't
00:13:59.700 think this judge
00:14:00.460 is going to do
00:14:00.960 justice in this
00:14:01.760 case.
00:14:02.120 I think he is
00:14:02.680 going to figure
00:14:03.140 out a way
00:14:03.800 of not having
00:14:05.100 her disqualified.
00:14:06.620 Look,
00:14:07.020 the worst thing
00:14:07.680 I've ever had to do
00:14:08.360 What about Nathan?
00:14:09.140 I know you won't
00:14:09.780 go as far as
00:14:10.320 Fannie in the office,
00:14:11.460 but what about
00:14:11.820 Nathan Wade?
00:14:13.120 That's easy.
00:14:14.020 He could say,
00:14:14.700 look,
00:14:15.180 the appearance
00:14:16.260 of justice,
00:14:17.240 I recommend
00:14:17.880 strongly that
00:14:19.020 he be taken
00:14:20.200 off the case
00:14:20.960 so that the
00:14:21.560 appearance of
00:14:22.260 injustice disappears.
00:14:24.140 That would be
00:14:24.500 an easy call
00:14:25.220 for him,
00:14:25.660 but it would
00:14:25.980 have no impact
00:14:26.720 on the case.
00:14:28.140 Look,
00:14:28.460 the worst thing
00:14:29.200 that ever happened
00:14:29.700 to the American
00:14:30.400 judicial system
00:14:31.280 is election
00:14:32.680 of judges,
00:14:33.440 election of
00:14:33.920 prosecutors.
00:14:34.540 We're the only
00:14:34.920 country in the
00:14:35.520 world,
00:14:35.960 the Western
00:14:36.280 world,
00:14:36.940 that elects
00:14:37.500 judges and
00:14:38.000 prosecutors,
00:14:38.760 and the
00:14:39.320 politics obviously
00:14:40.760 play a role
00:14:41.880 in all of these
00:14:42.700 decisions.
00:14:44.100 But I agree
00:14:44.880 with your friend.
00:14:45.440 I think she's
00:14:45.920 very insightful
00:14:46.600 that that
00:14:48.400 statement
00:14:48.960 suggests that
00:14:50.920 he is not
00:14:52.900 going to rule
00:14:54.300 in favor of
00:14:55.420 Donald Trump
00:14:56.520 on the
00:14:58.360 disqualification.
00:14:59.640 Again,
00:15:00.100 that's my
00:15:00.760 judgment.
00:15:01.620 I don't have
00:15:02.220 enough to make
00:15:02.820 a firm prediction,
00:15:04.320 but I hope
00:15:06.120 he rules the
00:15:06.640 other way,
00:15:07.120 but I often
00:15:07.780 predict against
00:15:08.460 my own wishes,
00:15:09.300 so that's my
00:15:10.280 prediction.
00:15:11.560 So let's
00:15:11.880 get ahead of
00:15:13.060 ourselves a bit
00:15:13.660 and say he
00:15:14.560 keeps her on
00:15:15.320 the case,
00:15:16.040 irrespective of
00:15:16.780 what happens
00:15:17.280 with Nathan
00:15:17.740 Wade,
00:15:18.060 that he keeps
00:15:18.520 Fannie Willis
00:15:19.060 on the
00:15:19.340 case.
00:15:20.600 What happens
00:15:22.360 as a realistic
00:15:23.820 matter in
00:15:24.900 now her
00:15:25.740 prosecution
00:15:26.560 against Donald
00:15:27.880 Trump and
00:15:28.440 these defendants,
00:15:29.280 now that the
00:15:29.740 whole nation
00:15:30.560 has had quite
00:15:31.820 an introduction
00:15:32.580 to this woman
00:15:33.460 and her
00:15:34.180 ethical bar?
00:15:35.800 Well,
00:15:36.240 first of all,
00:15:36.780 it becomes a
00:15:37.360 big appellate
00:15:37.920 issue.
00:15:38.340 Second of all,
00:15:38.980 good trial
00:15:39.480 lawyers could
00:15:39.900 try to figure
00:15:40.440 out a way
00:15:41.140 of getting
00:15:42.140 her credibility
00:15:43.360 somehow in
00:15:44.720 front of the
00:15:45.220 jury.
00:15:45.600 It's not an
00:15:46.040 easy thing to
00:15:46.740 do, but
00:15:47.860 the American
00:15:49.120 public does
00:15:49.820 not believe
00:15:50.580 Fannie Willis.
00:15:51.600 They don't
00:15:51.900 believe she's
00:15:52.480 a truth teller.
00:15:53.700 And if I'm a
00:15:54.800 defense attorney,
00:15:55.440 I try to take
00:15:56.160 as much advantage
00:15:56.960 of that in
00:15:57.940 every single
00:15:58.700 context, both
00:15:59.580 the trial and
00:16:00.120 on appeal.
00:16:00.780 So she's become
00:16:01.700 a big issue
00:16:02.280 now in this
00:16:02.840 case.
00:16:03.620 If she had
00:16:04.000 been smart,
00:16:04.600 she just
00:16:04.920 would have
00:16:05.180 recused
00:16:05.540 herself,
00:16:06.420 not the
00:16:06.780 office,
00:16:07.200 just recused
00:16:07.800 herself and
00:16:08.440 recused
00:16:08.880 him and
00:16:09.800 said,
00:16:10.380 this is bigger
00:16:10.960 than both
00:16:11.360 of us.
00:16:11.680 Let's get
00:16:11.940 on with
00:16:12.320 this.
00:16:12.560 But she
00:16:12.780 has an
00:16:13.080 enormous
00:16:13.440 ego.
00:16:14.320 The fact
00:16:14.680 that she
00:16:15.320 volunteered
00:16:15.860 the testimony
00:16:16.580 and bolted
00:16:17.440 into the
00:16:17.800 courtroom and
00:16:18.660 began to
00:16:19.140 tell what I
00:16:19.620 regard as
00:16:20.140 lie after
00:16:20.800 lie after
00:16:21.380 lie shows
00:16:22.740 I think what
00:16:23.560 kind of a
00:16:24.020 person she
00:16:24.580 is.
00:16:25.000 And I
00:16:25.600 would not
00:16:26.120 be proud
00:16:26.520 of that.
00:16:27.860 How do
00:16:28.020 you see
00:16:28.440 her breaches?
00:16:30.620 What's the
00:16:31.240 worst one?
00:16:31.920 Taking
00:16:32.200 money,
00:16:33.040 taking these
00:16:33.580 trips from
00:16:35.060 a guy she
00:16:35.660 brought in
00:16:36.120 who she's
00:16:36.480 paying more
00:16:36.860 than the
00:16:37.100 other
00:16:37.220 prosecutors?
00:16:37.800 Or is it
00:16:38.200 the lying
00:16:38.560 under oath?
00:16:39.480 How would
00:16:40.260 you rank
00:16:40.680 alleged sins?
00:16:42.300 It's not
00:16:42.620 even a
00:16:42.920 close question.
00:16:43.600 It's perjury.
00:16:44.900 Conspiracy to
00:16:45.600 commit perjury.
00:16:46.900 Obstruction of
00:16:47.640 justice.
00:16:48.740 And the
00:16:49.040 perjury involves
00:16:50.240 her having an
00:16:50.840 affair.
00:16:51.100 The affair
00:16:51.420 itself, I
00:16:52.820 think she
00:16:53.120 could have
00:16:53.480 explained and
00:16:54.700 justified.
00:16:56.100 Accepting
00:16:56.580 money?
00:16:57.000 No.
00:16:57.580 And the
00:16:57.880 idea that
00:16:58.580 she was
00:16:59.680 willing to
00:17:00.660 allow people
00:17:02.000 to accuse
00:17:02.720 her of
00:17:03.180 taking money
00:17:03.780 by not
00:17:04.200 keeping records
00:17:04.920 of payback.
00:17:05.760 Remember,
00:17:06.140 she has an
00:17:06.520 obligation.
00:17:07.060 Under the
00:17:08.020 code of
00:17:08.540 professional
00:17:09.260 and judicial
00:17:10.400 responsibility,
00:17:12.400 she has the
00:17:13.080 burden of
00:17:13.520 proving to
00:17:14.880 them that she
00:17:15.580 didn't take
00:17:16.000 any money.
00:17:17.400 Remember,
00:17:18.160 there is
00:17:18.560 proof that she
00:17:19.360 took money,
00:17:19.900 as the judge
00:17:20.380 found.
00:17:21.140 Proof by
00:17:21.820 cell phone
00:17:22.360 records and
00:17:23.020 by American
00:17:23.760 Express records.
00:17:24.460 Then the burden
00:17:24.980 should shift to
00:17:25.580 her to prove
00:17:27.180 that she paid
00:17:28.640 back.
00:17:29.020 And she can't
00:17:29.520 satisfy that
00:17:30.180 burden by
00:17:31.080 merely saying,
00:17:31.780 I paid
00:17:32.560 everything back
00:17:33.300 to the
00:17:33.580 penny.
00:17:34.760 Reasonably,
00:17:35.420 people would
00:17:36.520 not believe
00:17:37.020 that.
00:17:37.280 I certainly
00:17:37.620 don't believe
00:17:38.060 it.
00:17:39.380 And part of
00:17:40.560 the thing
00:17:40.840 that's bothering
00:17:41.620 me is some
00:17:43.140 of her
00:17:43.500 defenders are
00:17:44.200 trying to
00:17:44.740 pretend that
00:17:45.740 this judge
00:17:46.380 can't find
00:17:47.380 that she
00:17:48.060 perjured
00:17:48.500 herself or
00:17:49.400 that she
00:17:49.740 took these
00:17:50.300 unethical
00:17:51.440 kickbacks
00:17:52.120 unless he
00:17:53.080 can find
00:17:54.400 so beyond
00:17:54.840 any reasonable
00:17:56.460 doubt,
00:17:57.020 using the
00:17:57.580 criminal
00:17:57.980 justice
00:17:58.800 standard.
00:17:59.360 I don't
00:18:00.300 think that's
00:18:00.980 right.
00:18:01.320 I think
00:18:01.660 the judge
00:18:02.320 has got
00:18:02.600 plenty in
00:18:03.220 front of
00:18:03.560 him to
00:18:03.880 find she
00:18:04.780 did take
00:18:05.300 the kickbacks.
00:18:06.220 She did
00:18:06.480 not pay
00:18:06.960 cash.
00:18:07.380 I disbelieve
00:18:08.060 her testimony
00:18:08.620 and I also
00:18:09.580 believe this
00:18:10.140 Robin Yurty,
00:18:11.320 the longtime
00:18:11.880 friend of
00:18:12.660 Fannie Willis
00:18:13.340 who took
00:18:13.620 the stand
00:18:14.000 and said
00:18:14.320 under oath
00:18:14.860 they were
00:18:15.640 having an
00:18:16.040 affair going
00:18:16.560 back to
00:18:16.880 2019.
00:18:18.120 She told
00:18:18.580 me and I
00:18:19.380 saw it with
00:18:19.820 my own two
00:18:20.300 eyes.
00:18:20.920 Yes, she
00:18:21.180 got fired or
00:18:21.820 pushed out
00:18:22.160 of the office
00:18:22.560 by Fannie,
00:18:23.600 but is the
00:18:24.520 mere fact that
00:18:25.580 she got pushed
00:18:26.180 out of the
00:18:26.540 office enough to
00:18:27.140 totally discount
00:18:27.880 her testimony and
00:18:29.060 are they using
00:18:29.600 the right
00:18:29.980 burden in
00:18:31.020 assessing the
00:18:32.020 case that has
00:18:32.520 to be made?
00:18:33.900 Totally wrong
00:18:34.500 burden.
00:18:34.980 And remember,
00:18:35.560 you can just
00:18:36.000 quote Fannie
00:18:36.540 Willis.
00:18:36.940 She testified
00:18:37.580 under oath.
00:18:38.960 She said,
00:18:39.880 it's my
00:18:40.940 testimony that
00:18:41.720 I paid the
00:18:42.220 money back
00:18:42.940 in cash and
00:18:44.740 that's enough
00:18:45.300 evidence.
00:18:46.120 She herself
00:18:46.780 said the
00:18:47.580 testimony of
00:18:48.300 one person
00:18:48.920 is enough
00:18:49.760 evidence and
00:18:50.340 she's right
00:18:50.900 about that if
00:18:51.860 it's credible
00:18:52.400 and believable.
00:18:53.980 There's just
00:18:54.660 too much here
00:18:55.680 to allow a
00:18:56.540 judge in good
00:18:57.700 faith to say
00:18:58.620 he believes
00:18:59.900 her testimony,
00:19:01.160 he believes
00:19:02.040 Wade's testimony,
00:19:03.600 he believes
00:19:04.300 the other
00:19:04.640 testimony.
00:19:05.300 It's just
00:19:06.080 not credible
00:19:06.900 and he
00:19:07.680 doesn't have
00:19:08.200 to find it
00:19:08.680 beyond reasonable
00:19:09.380 doubt.
00:19:10.080 All he has
00:19:10.560 to do is
00:19:11.480 find it at
00:19:12.420 the most
00:19:13.000 by a
00:19:13.440 preponderance.
00:19:14.140 In fact,
00:19:14.440 I would
00:19:14.700 imagine a
00:19:15.220 judge saying,
00:19:15.740 look,
00:19:16.480 there's enough
00:19:17.240 evidence here
00:19:18.020 for there to
00:19:18.480 be enough
00:19:18.960 doubt about
00:19:19.980 the integrity
00:19:20.580 of the judicial
00:19:21.160 system that
00:19:22.300 on balance,
00:19:23.500 it's far
00:19:24.000 better to err
00:19:24.760 on the side
00:19:25.320 of disqualifying
00:19:26.200 her than
00:19:26.880 allowing her
00:19:27.620 to continue
00:19:28.280 when there
00:19:29.060 might well
00:19:29.600 have been
00:19:29.940 an actual
00:19:30.400 conflict of
00:19:31.060 interest.
00:19:31.280 That would
00:19:31.680 be the right
00:19:32.180 allocation of
00:19:33.180 burden.
00:19:33.900 But that's
00:19:35.120 not what's
00:19:35.500 going to happen.
00:19:36.140 This judge
00:19:36.500 doesn't have
00:19:37.000 the courage
00:19:37.400 to do this.
00:19:38.840 He's very
00:19:39.280 young.
00:19:39.660 He's only
00:19:39.880 34.
00:19:40.580 He is a
00:19:40.920 Republican.
00:19:41.440 He's a
00:19:41.660 camp-appointed
00:19:42.200 Republican.
00:19:42.800 But if he
00:19:43.780 doesn't win
00:19:44.280 this election,
00:19:44.980 he's out of
00:19:45.320 a job.
00:19:46.260 And it's
00:19:47.020 almost 73%
00:19:48.960 for Joe
00:19:49.300 Biden in this
00:19:49.800 county.
00:19:50.060 If he rules
00:19:53.980 that she's
00:19:54.660 telling the
00:19:55.140 truth, I
00:19:55.660 hope he's
00:19:56.000 out of a
00:19:56.340 job.
00:19:57.080 That would
00:19:57.400 be my
00:19:57.860 vote if
00:19:58.280 I were
00:19:58.540 down there.
00:19:59.300 He doesn't
00:19:59.920 seem like
00:20:00.380 that much
00:20:01.080 of a partisan
00:20:01.560 hack, but
00:20:02.100 we don't
00:20:02.340 know him
00:20:02.560 that well.
00:20:03.200 Let me
00:20:03.560 get you
00:20:03.900 before I
00:20:04.300 let you
00:20:04.520 go to
00:20:05.260 comment.
00:20:05.700 I don't
00:20:05.840 know if
00:20:05.980 you saw
00:20:06.180 this breaking
00:20:06.600 news on
00:20:07.000 Chuck Schumer,
00:20:07.880 highest ranking
00:20:08.740 Jewish official
00:20:09.440 in the United
00:20:09.840 States calling
00:20:10.440 for new
00:20:11.620 elections in
00:20:13.160 Israel.
00:20:13.560 I've never
00:20:13.920 seen this
00:20:14.300 happen before.
00:20:15.220 He's calling
00:20:15.700 for new
00:20:16.080 elections in
00:20:16.620 Israel.
00:20:17.380 He's
00:20:17.660 describing
00:20:18.100 Netanyahu
00:20:18.840 as,
00:20:19.200 quote,
00:20:21.560 urging Israel
00:20:22.920 to do
00:20:23.860 better.
00:20:24.400 Here's the
00:20:24.740 bit of that
00:20:25.120 soundbite.
00:20:26.380 The fourth
00:20:27.540 major obstacle
00:20:28.380 to peace
00:20:29.140 is Israeli
00:20:30.440 Prime Minister
00:20:31.200 Benjamin
00:20:31.680 Netanyahu.
00:20:32.720 As a
00:20:33.160 lifelong
00:20:33.540 supporter of
00:20:34.420 Israel,
00:20:35.100 it has
00:20:35.400 become clear
00:20:36.020 to me
00:20:36.460 the Netanyahu
00:20:38.620 coalition no
00:20:39.920 longer fits
00:20:40.740 the needs
00:20:41.420 of Israel
00:20:42.420 after October
00:20:43.480 7th.
00:20:44.500 The world
00:20:45.140 has changed
00:20:45.980 radically
00:20:46.900 since then,
00:20:48.220 and the
00:20:49.160 Israeli people
00:20:50.040 are being
00:20:50.980 stifled
00:20:51.640 right now
00:20:52.400 by a
00:20:53.280 governing
00:20:53.600 vision that
00:20:54.500 has stuck
00:20:55.060 in the
00:20:55.640 past.
00:20:56.100 Five months
00:20:57.000 into this
00:20:57.540 conflict,
00:20:58.460 it is clear
00:20:59.120 that Israelis
00:21:00.580 need to take
00:21:01.460 stock of the
00:21:02.240 situation
00:21:02.840 and ask,
00:21:04.620 must we
00:21:05.100 change course?
00:21:06.660 At this
00:21:07.820 critical
00:21:08.520 juncture,
00:21:09.520 I believe
00:21:10.660 a new
00:21:11.200 election
00:21:11.760 is the
00:21:12.980 only way
00:21:13.760 to allow
00:21:14.380 for a
00:21:14.740 healthy and
00:21:15.420 open
00:21:15.800 decision-making
00:21:16.620 process
00:21:17.340 about the
00:21:18.260 future of
00:21:18.760 Israel.
00:21:20.560 This is
00:21:21.500 extraordinary.
00:21:22.360 Your reaction?
00:21:23.960 Well, it's
00:21:24.380 just wrong.
00:21:25.140 It would be
00:21:25.500 as if the
00:21:25.980 Israeli
00:21:26.280 government
00:21:26.600 said we
00:21:27.060 need
00:21:27.240 elections
00:21:27.680 in New
00:21:27.960 York
00:21:28.160 to oust
00:21:28.980 Schumer.
00:21:30.620 Look,
00:21:31.140 the only
00:21:31.740 major barrier
00:21:32.920 of peace
00:21:33.380 other than
00:21:33.820 Hamas
00:21:34.260 is the
00:21:34.960 Biden
00:21:35.160 administration.
00:21:35.920 If the
00:21:36.120 Biden
00:21:36.320 administration
00:21:36.900 had said
00:21:37.300 from day
00:21:37.620 one,
00:21:38.060 we are
00:21:38.340 supporting
00:21:38.700 Israel,
00:21:39.580 we understand
00:21:40.140 that Hamas
00:21:40.840 uses human
00:21:41.520 shields,
00:21:42.020 we understand
00:21:42.500 they put
00:21:42.880 babies in
00:21:43.400 harm's
00:21:43.700 way
00:21:43.860 deliberately,
00:21:44.980 and we
00:21:45.740 support
00:21:46.180 Israel,
00:21:46.800 and we're
00:21:47.060 not going
00:21:47.480 to support
00:21:48.340 Hamas.
00:21:48.860 We're going
00:21:49.100 to tell
00:21:49.480 Hamas,
00:21:50.360 you surrender,
00:21:51.160 you give
00:21:51.560 up,
00:21:52.160 give up
00:21:52.600 the hostages.
00:21:53.460 If the
00:21:54.000 Biden
00:21:54.220 administration
00:21:54.780 had been
00:21:55.160 strong there,
00:21:56.220 the war
00:21:56.580 would be
00:21:56.880 over today.
00:21:57.780 The only
00:21:58.220 reason that
00:21:59.060 Senua and
00:21:59.720 Hamas
00:22:00.540 reject the
00:22:01.800 ceasefires
00:22:02.440 and want
00:22:03.480 to continue
00:22:03.960 on this
00:22:04.440 because they
00:22:05.100 think they're
00:22:05.620 winning support
00:22:06.520 among
00:22:07.860 Americans and
00:22:08.800 in the U.S.
00:22:09.540 administration.
00:22:10.180 Now,
00:22:10.320 Americans
00:22:10.720 overwhelmingly
00:22:11.480 support Israel,
00:22:12.840 but the
00:22:13.160 Biden
00:22:13.860 administration
00:22:13.960 is out
00:22:14.320 of touch.
00:22:15.360 And the
00:22:15.860 only
00:22:16.120 country,
00:22:16.880 the only
00:22:17.320 administration
00:22:18.200 that needs
00:22:18.800 replacement is
00:22:19.520 the Biden
00:22:19.920 administration if
00:22:20.660 you want to
00:22:20.980 see peace in
00:22:21.500 the Middle
00:22:21.740 East.
00:22:22.320 Let Israelis
00:22:22.920 decide their
00:22:23.660 election,
00:22:24.460 let Americans
00:22:25.160 decide their
00:22:25.940 election,
00:22:26.720 and let each
00:22:27.420 side keep
00:22:28.080 their nose out
00:22:28.920 of the other
00:22:29.320 side's
00:22:30.180 democracy.
00:22:30.560 It really
00:22:32.480 is nuts.
00:22:32.960 This is the
00:22:33.300 same party
00:22:33.680 that's always
00:22:34.040 lecturing us
00:22:34.540 about norms
00:22:35.140 and how we're
00:22:35.500 not supposed
00:22:35.780 to breach
00:22:36.140 them,
00:22:36.800 and yet you
00:22:37.160 have this,
00:22:38.300 the Senate
00:22:38.760 majority leader
00:22:39.500 out there
00:22:39.800 calling for a
00:22:40.360 change in
00:22:40.680 government that
00:22:41.120 was democratically
00:22:41.740 elected.
00:22:42.140 On the same
00:22:43.540 note,
00:22:45.000 today the
00:22:46.960 White House
00:22:47.620 had dispatched
00:22:48.580 some emissaries
00:22:50.180 to Chicago
00:22:51.000 to meet not
00:22:52.580 with Jewish
00:22:53.180 people in
00:22:53.960 Chicago who
00:22:54.680 have become
00:22:55.240 more and
00:22:55.880 more under
00:22:56.440 attack.
00:22:57.280 More and more
00:22:57.900 we're seeing
00:22:58.300 anti-Semitism
00:22:58.860 rise in
00:22:59.440 particular in
00:22:59.940 that city,
00:23:00.320 but to meet
00:23:01.380 with Muslim
00:23:02.580 leaders and
00:23:03.620 Arab leaders,
00:23:04.740 and guess what
00:23:05.340 just happened?
00:23:06.480 They got the
00:23:07.020 back of the
00:23:07.480 hand.
00:23:08.400 CARE,
00:23:09.200 the Council
00:23:09.600 on American
00:23:10.520 Islamic Relations,
00:23:11.800 said,
00:23:12.320 no, we don't
00:23:13.160 want to meet
00:23:13.660 with you,
00:23:14.100 White House.
00:23:14.500 They're mad at
00:23:15.240 the White House.
00:23:16.360 And this,
00:23:16.880 in the wake
00:23:17.260 of Alan,
00:23:17.840 there's a guy
00:23:19.040 on Twitter,
00:23:19.540 Richard Goldberg,
00:23:20.120 who's been
00:23:20.340 doing a good
00:23:20.940 job documenting
00:23:21.880 what's happening
00:23:22.380 in Chicago.
00:23:23.220 He tweets
00:23:23.620 out the
00:23:23.940 following.
00:23:24.780 Put this
00:23:25.340 in perspective.
00:23:26.040 Since
00:23:26.260 Friday,
00:23:27.620 pro-Hamas
00:23:28.160 anti-Semitic
00:23:29.040 rioters in
00:23:29.580 Chicago
00:23:29.920 intimidated
00:23:30.660 the House
00:23:31.600 of Blues to
00:23:32.240 cancel a
00:23:32.760 Jewish
00:23:33.080 singer's
00:23:33.700 sold-out
00:23:34.300 show,
00:23:34.700 citing security
00:23:35.720 concerns.
00:23:36.620 Loyola University
00:23:37.520 told Jewish
00:23:38.100 students they
00:23:38.560 could no
00:23:38.840 longer allow
00:23:39.340 a survivor
00:23:39.860 of the
00:23:40.220 Nova Music
00:23:40.960 Festival
00:23:41.400 massacre
00:23:41.780 to speak
00:23:42.560 on campus,
00:23:43.600 citing security
00:23:44.420 concerns.
00:23:46.160 Jews were
00:23:46.600 attacked while
00:23:47.160 trying to
00:23:47.620 enter a
00:23:48.160 theater to
00:23:48.640 watch footage
00:23:49.400 of the
00:23:49.760 Nova Music
00:23:50.300 Festival
00:23:50.700 massacre.
00:23:51.680 Jews are
00:23:51.980 not even
00:23:52.280 allowed to
00:23:52.760 mourn the
00:23:53.220 massacres
00:23:53.700 without being
00:23:54.160 attacked in
00:23:54.660 the city
00:23:54.920 of Chicago.
00:23:55.920 And what
00:23:56.200 does the
00:23:56.440 White House
00:23:56.740 do?
00:23:57.340 Send staff
00:23:58.020 to meet
00:23:58.460 with the
00:24:00.000 Muslim
00:24:00.380 representatives
00:24:01.060 who then
00:24:01.760 tell the
00:24:02.200 White House
00:24:02.620 to bugger
00:24:03.600 off that
00:24:04.520 they're not
00:24:04.900 interested
00:24:05.340 because they
00:24:05.900 don't think
00:24:06.380 the White
00:24:06.660 House has
00:24:06.960 been supportive
00:24:07.500 enough of
00:24:08.580 the Palestinians.
00:24:09.820 You can't
00:24:10.280 make it up.
00:24:11.560 No, of course,
00:24:12.260 CARE is an
00:24:12.840 organization that
00:24:13.680 has supported
00:24:14.200 terrorism,
00:24:15.020 supported Hamas,
00:24:16.100 and supported
00:24:16.660 extreme anti-Israel
00:24:19.700 rhetoric.
00:24:20.600 It reminds me of
00:24:21.220 what Canada did
00:24:22.000 today.
00:24:22.800 Canada said
00:24:23.400 they're going to
00:24:23.720 give money to
00:24:24.540 rape victims,
00:24:25.360 an equal number
00:24:26.280 of dollars,
00:24:28.540 to Israeli rape
00:24:30.020 victims, which we
00:24:30.800 know happened
00:24:31.380 during October 7th,
00:24:32.760 and an equal
00:24:33.580 amount to
00:24:34.440 Palestinian victims
00:24:35.760 of Israeli
00:24:36.400 rape, even if
00:24:37.300 none of them
00:24:37.660 occurred, because
00:24:38.960 Canada wants to
00:24:39.820 have an even-handed
00:24:41.160 approach.
00:24:42.220 You know, that's
00:24:42.600 like giving equal
00:24:43.540 amount of money
00:24:44.240 to the rape
00:24:45.300 victims as to
00:24:46.320 the rapists, and
00:24:47.680 the idea that
00:24:49.120 Canada tries to
00:24:50.320 be even-handed,
00:24:51.640 that the American
00:24:52.580 administration tries,
00:24:53.620 this is not an
00:24:54.400 even-handed
00:24:54.880 situation.
00:24:56.060 It's just
00:24:56.440 absolutely crazy
00:24:57.440 what's happening.
00:24:58.420 All right, last
00:24:58.860 but not least,
00:24:59.540 one more topic.
00:25:00.620 I'd like to squeeze
00:25:01.140 it in, because I
00:25:01.580 heard you talking
00:25:02.100 about it on the
00:25:03.460 DIRS show, which
00:25:04.080 is a great podcast.
00:25:04.960 You guys should
00:25:05.380 download it.
00:25:05.900 You enjoy, Alan.
00:25:07.820 And you are mad
00:25:08.760 right now at the
00:25:09.640 NAACP for very
00:25:12.420 good reason.
00:25:13.460 Explain.
00:25:14.940 Well, the NAACP
00:25:15.900 has said we're
00:25:16.920 not going to
00:25:17.820 encourage black
00:25:18.820 athletes to play
00:25:19.840 for Florida
00:25:20.820 public universities
00:25:21.880 because Florida
00:25:22.660 public universities
00:25:23.540 no longer support
00:25:24.940 this abomination
00:25:26.180 called DEI,
00:25:27.480 diversity, equity,
00:25:28.260 and inclusion, which
00:25:28.980 is against
00:25:29.420 diversity, against
00:25:30.660 equality, and
00:25:31.660 in favor of
00:25:32.740 exclusion.
00:25:33.520 The irony, though,
00:25:35.200 is that the only
00:25:36.040 area the NAACP
00:25:37.260 does not want
00:25:38.320 DEI in is
00:25:39.160 athletics.
00:25:40.320 Athletics are
00:25:41.020 dominated by
00:25:42.140 African-Americans
00:25:42.900 and other
00:25:43.320 as it should be
00:25:44.520 because it's a
00:25:45.460 meritocracy.
00:25:46.700 You want a winning
00:25:47.360 basketball team,
00:25:48.140 so you pick the
00:25:48.680 best people, but
00:25:49.660 you also want a
00:25:51.000 winning surgeon,
00:25:52.140 a winning pilot,
00:25:53.300 a winning engineer,
00:25:54.620 and we should not
00:25:55.700 have racial quotas
00:25:57.700 for those more
00:25:59.240 important occupations
00:26:00.740 than basketball
00:26:01.800 players, but the
00:26:02.940 hypocrisy of the
00:26:04.040 NAACP saying
00:26:04.960 it's okay if
00:26:06.500 basketball teams
00:26:07.260 are 90% black
00:26:08.360 or football teams
00:26:09.560 are 90%.
00:26:10.120 We don't need
00:26:10.600 diversity there,
00:26:11.340 no equity there,
00:26:12.160 no inclusion there,
00:26:13.100 but when it comes
00:26:14.180 to training
00:26:15.260 engineers, training
00:26:16.480 surgeons, no,
00:26:17.620 we need a quota
00:26:18.240 system.
00:26:19.040 We need to make
00:26:19.500 sure they're at
00:26:20.140 least 15% of this
00:26:21.340 and 8% of that
00:26:22.300 and make sure that
00:26:23.960 the number of Jews
00:26:24.720 and Asians
00:26:25.240 particularly kept
00:26:26.180 down.
00:26:26.840 You know what's
00:26:27.360 happening at major
00:26:28.060 universities today.
00:26:29.380 The numbers of
00:26:30.020 Jewish students
00:26:30.640 have been cut in
00:26:31.660 half by DEA,
00:26:33.260 in half,
00:26:34.160 sometimes more
00:26:35.280 than half,
00:26:36.280 and the same
00:26:36.800 thing is true in
00:26:38.060 other areas of
00:26:39.280 life because of
00:26:40.960 DEI.
00:26:41.600 So although I,
00:26:42.740 you know,
00:26:42.980 have questions
00:26:43.660 about Governor
00:26:44.640 DeSantis on many
00:26:45.640 areas, thankfully
00:26:46.840 he was right on
00:26:48.540 refusing to fund
00:26:50.360 the DEI bureaucracy
00:26:52.080 on public colleges,
00:26:53.240 and I hope
00:26:54.280 black athletes
00:26:54.960 will continue
00:26:55.680 to go to
00:26:57.260 public colleges.
00:26:58.040 By the way,
00:26:58.420 the ACP
00:26:59.100 excluded any
00:27:00.740 historically black
00:27:02.540 public colleges
00:27:03.420 in Florida,
00:27:04.820 so it's only
00:27:05.580 historically white
00:27:06.780 public colleges
00:27:07.600 or diverse
00:27:08.700 public colleges
00:27:09.820 that they don't
00:27:10.620 want athletes
00:27:11.240 to go to,
00:27:11.780 but it's okay
00:27:12.520 if the entire
00:27:13.800 team is
00:27:15.260 non-diverse
00:27:16.280 as long as
00:27:16.960 they win,
00:27:17.940 but it's okay
00:27:18.760 also if you
00:27:19.780 train surgeons
00:27:20.480 and pilots
00:27:21.100 and engineers
00:27:21.880 based on quota
00:27:23.200 systems,
00:27:23.720 not on meritocracy.
00:27:25.400 Something very
00:27:25.920 wrong with that.
00:27:27.160 It's crazy.
00:27:28.460 Thank you so much
00:27:29.260 for making the
00:27:29.680 time for us
00:27:30.160 this morning.
00:27:30.540 I know where
00:27:31.200 you are.
00:27:31.860 I don't know
00:27:32.120 if you want to
00:27:32.480 say,
00:27:32.720 but I know
00:27:33.460 that room
00:27:33.980 you're in,
00:27:34.680 sir,
00:27:34.840 because it
00:27:35.260 belongs to
00:27:36.260 a friend
00:27:36.680 of both
00:27:37.120 of ours,
00:27:37.640 so say
00:27:38.100 hello to
00:27:38.540 him.
00:27:39.340 When I
00:27:40.400 was 85,
00:27:42.820 it was a
00:27:43.740 wonderful year.
00:27:45.660 It was a
00:27:46.520 wonderful year
00:27:47.720 for 72-year-old
00:27:49.240 women named
00:27:49.920 Carolyn.
00:27:51.080 Now I'm in
00:27:51.460 the Frank Sinatra
00:27:52.180 room.
00:27:53.340 I love
00:27:55.360 Frank Sinatra.
00:27:56.660 I even
00:27:57.060 try my best
00:27:58.080 to sing him,
00:27:58.700 but everybody
00:27:59.100 leaves the room
00:27:59.720 when I do.
00:28:00.600 Here I have a
00:28:01.380 captive audience.
00:28:02.600 Thank you.
00:28:04.040 Great job.
00:28:04.940 It's great to see
00:28:05.560 you.
00:28:05.740 All the best,
00:28:06.240 Alan.
00:28:06.720 Likewise.
00:28:07.560 Take care.
00:28:08.540 It's a wonderful
00:28:09.240 room in the law
00:28:10.160 office of a
00:28:10.780 friend of ours.
00:28:11.860 Before we go,
00:28:13.520 I want to tell
00:28:14.080 you that Alan's
00:28:14.840 latest book is
00:28:15.820 titled, as he
00:28:16.700 mentioned there,
00:28:17.220 War Against
00:28:17.660 the Jews,
00:28:18.440 How to End
00:28:18.960 Hamas Barbarism.
00:28:20.240 Maybe Senator
00:28:20.980 Chuck Schumer
00:28:21.540 should read it.
00:28:22.480 Up next,
00:28:23.120 the guys from
00:28:23.980 Ruthless.
00:28:28.740 President Biden
00:28:29.720 fails to get
00:28:30.420 any bump
00:28:31.800 whatsoever in
00:28:32.780 the polls after
00:28:33.980 his big State
00:28:34.660 of the Union
00:28:35.060 speech last
00:28:35.660 week.
00:28:36.160 Surprising,
00:28:36.820 isn't it?
00:28:37.560 According to
00:28:38.060 the fixtures
00:28:38.500 over at
00:28:38.880 MSNBC and
00:28:39.740 the like,
00:28:41.140 they claimed
00:28:41.840 this was a
00:28:42.640 super strong
00:28:43.520 moment for
00:28:44.560 Mr.
00:28:44.880 Biden,
00:28:45.180 remember?
00:28:46.700 I was not
00:28:47.700 expecting what
00:28:48.760 he did.
00:28:49.940 He came out
00:28:50.580 punching,
00:28:51.740 forceful,
00:28:52.620 strong voice.
00:28:53.800 He threw
00:28:54.500 boiling oil
00:28:55.780 on MAGA,
00:28:56.900 on Trump,
00:28:57.600 on the
00:28:57.900 Republicans,
00:28:58.540 without ever
00:28:59.100 mentioning a
00:28:59.760 name.
00:29:00.760 He had
00:29:01.560 Frazier's
00:29:02.520 left hook.
00:29:04.000 This was a
00:29:04.620 tour de force
00:29:05.500 by Joe Biden.
00:29:07.600 And in the
00:29:07.920 words of
00:29:08.340 Naomi Biden,
00:29:10.060 doubt him,
00:29:10.960 then watch
00:29:11.740 him.
00:29:12.140 I thought the
00:29:12.880 speech was
00:29:13.340 very high
00:29:14.180 caffeine.
00:29:14.620 I think
00:29:15.380 Joe Biden
00:29:16.520 woke up
00:29:16.820 this morning,
00:29:17.420 had a cup
00:29:18.260 of coffee
00:29:18.680 and had
00:29:19.120 his Wheaties.
00:29:19.700 He was
00:29:19.960 definitely
00:29:20.380 there to
00:29:21.780 fight.
00:29:22.220 This was
00:29:22.620 his how
00:29:23.120 about them
00:29:23.480 apple
00:29:23.780 speech.
00:29:25.540 Oh,
00:29:25.800 boy.
00:29:26.480 Here to
00:29:26.980 break it
00:29:27.220 all down
00:29:27.700 and much,
00:29:28.540 much more,
00:29:28.960 Josh Holmes,
00:29:29.620 comfortably
00:29:29.960 smug,
00:29:30.620 Michael
00:29:30.920 Duncan,
00:29:31.420 and soon
00:29:32.340 John Ashbrook,
00:29:33.100 who's running
00:29:33.420 a little late.
00:29:34.260 Together,
00:29:34.760 they are the
00:29:35.280 hosts of
00:29:36.000 the Ruthless
00:29:36.780 program.
00:29:37.880 Now on
00:29:38.120 YouTube at
00:29:38.920 YouTube.com
00:29:39.600 slash
00:29:40.000 Ruthless
00:29:40.840 podcast.
00:29:41.660 Guys,
00:29:42.000 welcome back.
00:29:42.480 Hello,
00:29:43.400 Megan.
00:29:43.920 Thanks for
00:29:44.360 having us.
00:29:45.140 Always a
00:29:45.440 pleasure.
00:29:45.800 The pleasure
00:29:46.800 is all
00:29:47.200 mine.
00:29:47.780 Okay,
00:29:48.160 so after
00:29:48.680 all the
00:29:49.160 boiling oil,
00:29:51.100 Frazier's
00:29:51.680 left hook,
00:29:53.120 and the
00:29:54.380 latest polls
00:29:55.100 literally show
00:29:56.300 that on the
00:29:56.640 day to the
00:29:56.960 State of
00:29:57.500 Union,
00:29:57.800 if you look
00:29:58.080 at the
00:29:58.260 average and
00:29:58.620 real clear,
00:29:59.520 Trump was
00:29:59.920 up 1.8
00:30:01.060 over Biden.
00:30:02.180 As of
00:30:02.780 today,
00:30:03.220 Trump is
00:30:03.620 up 2.1.
00:30:05.920 So more
00:30:06.700 factoring in
00:30:08.400 an economist
00:30:09.060 poll,
00:30:09.820 Trump up
00:30:10.180 two.
00:30:10.460 This is
00:30:11.040 versus before
00:30:12.100 the State
00:30:12.400 of the
00:30:12.560 Union.
00:30:13.140 Daily
00:30:13.380 Coast,
00:30:13.880 okay,
00:30:14.140 that shows
00:30:14.460 Biden up
00:30:14.980 one.
00:30:15.900 Yahoo,
00:30:16.500 Trump up
00:30:16.840 two.
00:30:17.420 Forbes,
00:30:17.980 Trump up
00:30:18.300 four.
00:30:18.820 Morning
00:30:19.040 Consult,
00:30:19.560 Trump up
00:30:19.880 one.
00:30:20.180 This is
00:30:20.400 all versus
00:30:20.820 before the
00:30:21.380 State of
00:30:21.700 the Union,
00:30:22.160 so nothing
00:30:23.320 went Joe
00:30:23.920 Biden's way.
00:30:24.900 And so
00:30:25.280 were they
00:30:26.540 lying to
00:30:27.220 us?
00:30:27.440 Was it
00:30:27.720 not boiling
00:30:28.480 oil?
00:30:29.640 Or what
00:30:30.400 do you make
00:30:31.060 of it?
00:30:31.500 You think
00:30:31.920 maybe they
00:30:32.600 could have
00:30:32.920 overstated that
00:30:33.760 a touch?
00:30:34.480 I don't
00:30:34.680 know.
00:30:34.840 I felt like
00:30:35.280 listening to
00:30:35.800 that,
00:30:36.000 I was wondering
00:30:36.340 if I actually
00:30:36.940 saw the State
00:30:37.680 the Union
00:30:38.040 that they
00:30:38.380 were,
00:30:38.620 I mean,
00:30:38.820 I did
00:30:39.060 have a lot
00:30:39.400 to drink
00:30:39.720 that night,
00:30:40.240 so that's
00:30:40.980 the good
00:30:41.320 case.
00:30:42.200 But I
00:30:42.660 mean,
00:30:42.860 my goodness,
00:30:43.580 was that
00:30:43.880 not boiling
00:30:44.640 hot oil?
00:30:45.880 The only
00:30:46.560 bump that
00:30:47.200 guy got
00:30:47.840 was the
00:30:48.180 B-12 shot
00:30:49.000 on the
00:30:49.200 way in,
00:30:49.780 right?
00:30:50.140 Right.
00:30:50.260 So true.
00:30:51.420 Absolutely
00:30:51.860 nothing about
00:30:53.440 it was
00:30:54.020 inspiring or
00:30:55.880 would have
00:30:57.220 an impact
00:30:57.920 on the
00:30:58.220 electorate
00:30:58.640 beyond what
00:30:59.120 we've
00:30:59.280 already seen,
00:30:59.860 right,
00:31:00.080 fellas?
00:31:00.260 I mean,
00:31:01.080 seeing that
00:31:01.680 montage that
00:31:02.380 you just
00:31:02.740 played,
00:31:03.300 it almost
00:31:03.920 is like
00:31:04.480 North Korean
00:31:05.380 news coverage
00:31:07.040 of their
00:31:07.320 leader was
00:31:08.440 very strong.
00:31:09.920 We were
00:31:10.120 very impressed.
00:31:11.180 Dear leader
00:31:11.520 must have
00:31:11.900 eaten Wheaties
00:31:12.440 for breakfast.
00:31:13.500 But I mean,
00:31:13.920 the underlying
00:31:14.440 thing is they
00:31:15.260 recognize the
00:31:16.300 vast, vast
00:31:17.240 majority of
00:31:17.780 Americans see
00:31:18.660 that Joe
00:31:19.680 Biden is not
00:31:20.380 up to the
00:31:20.860 job, that
00:31:21.640 he's way
00:31:22.380 over the
00:31:22.800 hill.
00:31:23.160 He's not
00:31:23.500 all the way
00:31:23.920 there.
00:31:24.300 And that's
00:31:24.860 the bar
00:31:25.320 that they've
00:31:25.740 set for this
00:31:26.320 thing.
00:31:26.660 Like the fact
00:31:27.100 that he didn't
00:31:27.520 trip and split
00:31:28.120 his pants.
00:31:28.840 They're like,
00:31:29.460 oh my
00:31:29.720 gosh,
00:31:30.200 what a
00:31:30.460 speech.
00:31:31.420 It's
00:31:31.560 Gettysburg.
00:31:32.220 I mean,
00:31:32.560 basically,
00:31:32.900 as long as
00:31:33.480 they don't
00:31:33.760 roll out a
00:31:34.240 casket,
00:31:34.680 they're like,
00:31:34.960 okay,
00:31:35.220 I guess he
00:31:35.820 went above
00:31:36.220 what we
00:31:36.500 expected.
00:31:38.440 Oh my
00:31:39.040 God,
00:31:39.140 I saw a
00:31:39.540 Babylon Bee
00:31:40.060 headline the
00:31:40.540 other day.
00:31:41.300 So mean,
00:31:41.940 but so funny.
00:31:42.660 Say something
00:31:43.060 like,
00:31:44.140 Biden complains
00:31:45.080 that he keeps
00:31:48.400 getting draped
00:31:49.000 with an
00:31:49.280 American flag
00:31:50.060 every time
00:31:50.640 he tries to
00:31:51.260 take a
00:31:51.600 nap.
00:31:54.920 Oh man,
00:31:55.860 that's rough.
00:31:56.880 So bad.
00:31:58.000 So bad.
00:31:58.600 So bad.
00:31:59.720 But you
00:32:00.400 tell me,
00:32:00.920 Duncan,
00:32:01.200 because the
00:32:01.740 fact that
00:32:02.240 there's been
00:32:02.500 absolutely no
00:32:03.100 bump anywhere
00:32:04.200 shows that
00:32:05.820 the way we
00:32:06.900 saw it was
00:32:07.460 correct.
00:32:08.480 This wasn't
00:32:09.200 some home run.
00:32:10.500 He managed
00:32:10.960 to stay
00:32:11.340 upright,
00:32:12.000 which was
00:32:12.280 like,
00:32:12.560 okay,
00:32:13.100 good job.
00:32:14.420 And that
00:32:14.720 was it.
00:32:15.540 Anything else
00:32:16.100 was pretty
00:32:16.500 alienating to
00:32:17.200 people who
00:32:17.600 are on the
00:32:18.160 right or in
00:32:18.700 the center
00:32:19.080 and did
00:32:20.260 nothing for
00:32:20.880 him with
00:32:21.240 his base,
00:32:21.980 you know,
00:32:22.460 apparently,
00:32:22.940 because that's
00:32:23.300 not even
00:32:23.580 reflected.
00:32:23.980 No bump
00:32:25.080 with them
00:32:25.340 is reflected.
00:32:26.900 Yeah,
00:32:27.040 I think it
00:32:27.420 also reflects
00:32:28.420 the declining
00:32:29.120 interest Americans
00:32:30.040 have in
00:32:30.940 watching cable
00:32:32.280 news.
00:32:32.960 Yeah.
00:32:33.440 That limits
00:32:34.000 their ability
00:32:34.600 to shape
00:32:37.260 the subsequent
00:32:38.340 coverage of a
00:32:39.080 thing like the
00:32:39.540 State of the
00:32:39.880 Union.
00:32:40.260 I mean,
00:32:40.400 they can use
00:32:40.840 all those
00:32:41.140 terms that
00:32:42.040 they use
00:32:42.420 there,
00:32:42.820 but the
00:32:43.060 impact is
00:32:43.600 so very
00:32:44.400 small because
00:32:44.920 nobody's
00:32:45.380 watching anymore.
00:32:46.460 That's right.
00:32:46.760 So, I mean,
00:32:47.380 there was a
00:32:48.040 time 10,
00:32:49.200 20 years
00:32:49.740 ago where
00:32:50.880 I think you
00:32:51.940 could get
00:32:52.400 more of a
00:32:52.840 bump out
00:32:53.320 of the
00:32:53.500 State of
00:32:53.780 the Union,
00:32:54.180 but in our
00:32:55.000 media environment
00:32:55.700 today that's
00:32:56.400 so fractured,
00:32:57.240 I don't think
00:32:58.060 that really
00:32:58.540 exists anymore.
00:32:59.540 It doesn't
00:32:59.760 reflect today's
00:33:00.400 media landscape.
00:33:02.200 Interesting.
00:33:02.560 So, yeah,
00:33:03.600 it's like spiraling.
00:33:05.040 I'm sorry.
00:33:05.760 They really are
00:33:06.720 spiraling because
00:33:07.500 so many Americans
00:33:08.660 lost faith in
00:33:09.840 the media because
00:33:10.560 of the biased
00:33:11.640 one-sided coverage
00:33:13.080 and they're
00:33:13.960 essentially just
00:33:14.500 doubling down on
00:33:15.480 it, further
00:33:16.140 alienating
00:33:16.740 the few folks
00:33:17.480 who are left
00:33:18.000 with the
00:33:18.400 channel stuck
00:33:18.900 on MSNBC.
00:33:20.220 What a
00:33:20.880 trailer.
00:33:21.460 That's a real
00:33:22.060 sentence.
00:33:22.560 They're really
00:33:23.000 being harshly
00:33:24.240 misled on a
00:33:24.980 number of
00:33:25.500 subjects.
00:33:26.300 Okay,
00:33:26.600 meantime,
00:33:27.280 over on
00:33:27.640 Newsmax,
00:33:28.180 a more
00:33:28.400 conservative
00:33:28.800 leading channel,
00:33:30.060 Donald Trump
00:33:31.140 sat down with
00:33:31.900 my old pal
00:33:32.520 Greg Kelly,
00:33:33.600 formerly Fox
00:33:34.840 News and now
00:33:35.440 at Newsmax.
00:33:35.960 By the way,
00:33:36.300 Greg Kelly was
00:33:36.740 the very first
00:33:37.260 person I ever
00:33:37.780 shared an
00:33:38.200 office with
00:33:39.100 when I got
00:33:40.100 to Fox
00:33:40.840 News,
00:33:41.160 the very
00:33:41.620 first person.
00:33:42.700 Then I moved
00:33:43.320 next door in
00:33:44.520 with Major
00:33:45.120 Garrett,
00:33:45.780 which was
00:33:46.740 one of the
00:33:47.360 most formative
00:33:48.100 two years of
00:33:49.440 my young
00:33:50.040 career as a
00:33:51.060 reporter.
00:33:51.480 Major was
00:33:52.000 hilarious.
00:33:52.720 So anyway,
00:33:53.480 Greg Kelly sits
00:33:54.040 down with the
00:33:54.740 former pres and
00:33:55.580 asks him about
00:33:56.960 vice presidential
00:33:58.260 picks and in
00:33:58.840 particular whether
00:33:59.460 he's managed to
00:34:00.280 rule anybody
00:34:01.000 out, which is
00:34:02.060 an interesting
00:34:02.620 way in on this
00:34:03.860 oft-covered
00:34:04.900 subject.
00:34:05.420 Watch this.
00:34:07.260 Vice
00:34:07.660 president, are
00:34:08.620 you any closer?
00:34:09.280 Have you ruled
00:34:09.800 anybody out?
00:34:10.480 Yeah, I
00:34:12.340 probably have a
00:34:13.120 couple of
00:34:13.420 people that you
00:34:13.960 may know very
00:34:15.140 well, some
00:34:16.580 people that I
00:34:17.260 didn't think
00:34:17.660 behaved properly.
00:34:19.340 Yeah, I think
00:34:19.980 I've ruled some
00:34:20.620 people out, but I
00:34:21.600 I've ruled a lot
00:34:22.640 of people and we
00:34:23.220 have a lot of
00:34:23.620 great people in
00:34:24.240 the Republican
00:34:24.760 Party and they'll
00:34:25.540 do a terrific
00:34:26.140 job, I think.
00:34:26.900 But certainly I
00:34:28.160 have people that I
00:34:28.840 wouldn't want as a
00:34:29.800 vice president.
00:34:30.260 Is there a formal
00:34:30.780 process underway right
00:34:31.680 now?
00:34:31.940 No, it's a formal
00:34:33.060 process.
00:34:33.500 It's in my brain.
00:34:35.040 It's like I look at
00:34:36.160 the same people that
00:34:37.080 everybody else is
00:34:37.960 looking at.
00:34:38.440 We've had some
00:34:39.160 really great people.
00:34:40.720 I think we have
00:34:41.300 really great people
00:34:42.340 that want it.
00:34:42.860 People have
00:34:43.240 expressed, I mean,
00:34:44.780 not their interest.
00:34:45.640 They've expressed
00:34:46.180 like I would love
00:34:47.600 to be vice
00:34:48.140 president.
00:34:48.640 Who wouldn't?
00:34:50.640 Okay.
00:34:51.500 Now, what does
00:34:52.940 he mean by he's
00:34:54.240 ruled out some
00:34:55.000 people who have
00:34:55.720 behaved inappropriately?
00:34:59.140 Well, all I know
00:35:00.380 is I could watch
00:35:01.340 Donald Trump talk
00:35:02.460 about his VP
00:35:03.240 selection process in
00:35:04.680 perpetuity for
00:35:05.620 hours on it.
00:35:06.540 You make it like
00:35:07.220 pay-per-view and I
00:35:08.000 would subscribe
00:35:08.800 because what's so
00:35:10.320 funny about his
00:35:11.140 process, first of
00:35:12.220 all, there is no
00:35:12.680 like formal committee.
00:35:13.680 I mean, he comes out
00:35:14.640 and says it.
00:35:15.520 It's not like we're
00:35:16.160 vetting people.
00:35:16.840 It's in my brain.
00:35:17.720 And I believe that.
00:35:18.680 I think that's
00:35:19.720 probably true.
00:35:20.800 But the best part
00:35:22.460 about this from,
00:35:23.220 and we've talked
00:35:23.660 about this a little
00:35:24.280 bit on our show,
00:35:25.120 Megan, is like
00:35:26.160 what he wants to do
00:35:27.620 is keep this kind
00:35:28.440 of open and an
00:35:29.800 ongoing discussion
00:35:30.900 and basically make
00:35:31.960 a tryout of a
00:35:33.780 whole bunch.
00:35:34.280 Like who can be
00:35:34.880 better?
00:35:35.120 Like Celebrity
00:35:35.480 Apprentice.
00:35:35.940 Yeah, like who
00:35:37.400 can be, you know,
00:35:38.220 who can be the
00:35:39.260 best asset that he
00:35:40.620 could possibly have?
00:35:42.800 And then, and you
00:35:43.300 can see him paint the
00:35:44.320 other side of the
00:35:44.800 picture is like he
00:35:45.440 didn't think these
00:35:46.040 other people behaved
00:35:46.860 properly, meaning,
00:35:48.220 you know, they were
00:35:48.560 attacking him and
00:35:49.460 whatnot.
00:35:50.040 Right.
00:35:50.340 So that's my
00:35:51.740 question.
00:35:52.820 That's my question,
00:35:53.720 Holmes.
00:35:54.080 Does, they didn't
00:35:55.280 behave appropriately,
00:35:56.580 do you think, we're
00:35:57.140 trying to get in his
00:35:57.640 mind, mean somebody
00:35:59.000 who attacked him?
00:35:59.700 Because I think, I
00:36:01.620 think he would have
00:36:02.060 used a different word,
00:36:02.820 you know, like they
00:36:04.060 turned out to be
00:36:04.640 losers.
00:36:05.480 You know, I think he
00:36:06.360 would have been
00:36:06.720 stronger in his
00:36:08.400 condemnation and he
00:36:10.420 might have even named
00:36:11.300 them, right, if they
00:36:12.440 had actually slammed
00:36:13.300 him.
00:36:14.160 I have a theory on
00:36:14.980 this, Megan.
00:36:15.460 I'm really glad you
00:36:16.160 brought it up.
00:36:17.580 Obviously, Donald
00:36:18.520 Trump doesn't like
00:36:20.100 Republicans who
00:36:21.040 criticize him.
00:36:22.060 I think the thing he
00:36:23.100 hates more and he
00:36:24.460 can smell it on you the
00:36:25.520 moment you walk in
00:36:26.200 the room is he
00:36:27.260 doesn't like
00:36:27.600 desperation.
00:36:28.180 And so I think
00:36:30.140 that's what he's at
00:36:31.260 there, where he's
00:36:32.520 like, you know, people
00:36:33.100 who are a little too
00:36:33.840 thirsty, a little too
00:36:35.080 thirsty for the VP
00:36:36.500 slot.
00:36:37.140 And look, I mean, I
00:36:37.980 think this process of
00:36:39.020 selecting a vice
00:36:39.780 president is the most
00:36:41.420 like Donald Trump's
00:36:42.340 previous life.
00:36:43.280 This is a man who
00:36:43.780 understands leverage.
00:36:44.680 He has all of it
00:36:45.300 right now, right?
00:36:46.600 And so why wouldn't
00:36:47.460 you have a tryout and
00:36:48.440 delay this process as
00:36:49.300 long as possible?
00:36:50.280 And I also sort of
00:36:52.360 intuitively, he knows
00:36:53.780 like he has to tell
00:36:54.820 people he's like Santa
00:36:55.720 Claus.
00:36:56.220 He sees if you're
00:36:56.980 naughty or nice.
00:36:57.580 And he's watching.
00:36:58.740 He's always watching.
00:37:00.620 Exactly.
00:37:01.720 All right.
00:37:02.000 Now I have I have my
00:37:02.980 own theory.
00:37:04.300 My theory is it could
00:37:06.360 be a reference to a
00:37:08.600 rising star in the
00:37:09.880 Republican Party who
00:37:11.520 had such heat and
00:37:13.540 buzz around them
00:37:15.040 that they were asked
00:37:16.660 to deliver the
00:37:17.620 response to the
00:37:18.820 State of the Union.
00:37:20.020 Oh.
00:37:21.880 Mm hmm.
00:37:22.920 And then
00:37:24.500 bombed.
00:37:25.960 because you're
00:37:27.420 right, Duncan, he
00:37:28.980 can dismiss you if
00:37:31.260 you stink of
00:37:31.840 desperation.
00:37:33.060 But the worst sin is
00:37:35.120 to embarrass him, is
00:37:36.820 to do anything that
00:37:37.820 would reflect poorly
00:37:38.640 on him.
00:37:39.220 And if there's one
00:37:40.000 thing you can say
00:37:40.820 about Donald Trump
00:37:41.400 above all is the
00:37:42.700 man has an eye for
00:37:43.380 television.
00:37:44.220 I mean, he
00:37:44.560 absolutely.
00:37:45.600 That's how he really
00:37:46.440 made his millions.
00:37:47.420 I think he made more
00:37:48.420 from Celebrity
00:37:49.240 Apprentice and The
00:37:49.920 Apprentice than he
00:37:50.740 made in his real
00:37:51.300 estate empire.
00:37:52.060 I remember seeing
00:37:52.720 something like that.
00:37:53.220 And so I would
00:37:54.200 submit to you
00:37:54.800 gentlemen that when
00:37:55.440 he saw this, we'll
00:37:56.140 play a little bit of
00:37:56.800 it, maybe he
00:37:59.220 thought it was
00:37:59.680 quote, inappropriate
00:38:01.020 for a future vice
00:38:02.220 president.
00:38:02.680 Watch.
00:38:03.680 I never could have
00:38:05.380 imagined what my
00:38:06.680 story would entail
00:38:07.880 to think about what
00:38:10.300 the American dream
00:38:11.100 can do across just
00:38:13.120 one generation in
00:38:14.860 just one lifetime.
00:38:17.140 It's truly
00:38:18.200 breathtaking.
00:38:18.940 But right now, the
00:38:23.660 American dream has
00:38:24.700 turned into a
00:38:25.600 nightmare.
00:38:26.820 Our country can do
00:38:28.960 better.
00:38:31.240 And you don't have
00:38:32.300 to look any further
00:38:33.380 than the crisis at
00:38:35.100 our southern border to
00:38:36.880 see it.
00:38:38.480 President Biden
00:38:39.840 inherited the most
00:38:42.320 secure border of all
00:38:44.700 time.
00:38:45.260 he invited it
00:38:47.420 with 94
00:38:48.940 executive actions
00:38:50.720 in his first
00:38:51.720 100 days.
00:38:56.320 OK.
00:38:58.280 Zero chance
00:38:59.320 he didn't realize
00:39:00.400 what a train wreck
00:39:01.080 that was.
00:39:01.900 He praised her
00:39:02.720 at a rally over the
00:39:04.080 weekend like a
00:39:05.220 classy guy.
00:39:06.740 But there's zero
00:39:08.160 chance he didn't see
00:39:09.040 what the rest of us
00:39:09.700 saw.
00:39:09.940 So what do you think
00:39:10.760 of my theory?
00:39:11.240 Uh, I just don't
00:39:13.320 know that she's
00:39:13.900 really a short
00:39:14.640 list for that
00:39:15.660 discussion, right?
00:39:17.040 She's a dark horse.
00:39:17.920 Dark horse, Holmes.
00:39:19.600 Maybe.
00:39:19.900 Yeah, maybe.
00:39:20.920 Maybe that to be
00:39:22.120 the case.
00:39:22.960 Incidentally, in a
00:39:23.740 previous life, I
00:39:25.020 one of my jobs was
00:39:26.360 to try to set up
00:39:27.340 people to do the
00:39:28.760 State of the Union
00:39:29.400 response.
00:39:30.340 And I mean set up
00:39:31.180 quite literally,
00:39:32.180 not like set up
00:39:34.120 things.
00:39:34.680 I mean, like it's
00:39:35.980 the worst job in
00:39:37.240 the history.
00:39:37.860 Who do we hate?
00:39:38.800 Oh, my God.
00:39:39.520 It's so bad because
00:39:40.540 there's never been
00:39:41.220 a good one.
00:39:41.720 I remember.
00:39:42.260 Did you pick Rubio?
00:39:43.100 I hope you picked
00:39:43.960 Rubio and sent him
00:39:44.620 out to do that.
00:39:45.120 It was after.
00:39:45.820 Wait, did Sarah
00:39:46.300 Huckabee Sanders
00:39:46.940 did a good job?
00:39:48.020 She did a good job.
00:39:48.840 She, well, the ones
00:39:49.560 that you, that did
00:39:50.320 do the best job are
00:39:51.260 the ones you don't
00:39:51.720 remember at all, right?
00:39:53.160 Wow, yeah.
00:39:53.580 Mitch Daniels.
00:39:54.980 Yeah, you don't, if
00:39:55.840 you don't remember it
00:39:56.500 at all, you're like,
00:39:57.640 oh, they must have
00:39:58.160 done okay.
00:39:58.660 It's like the Madden
00:39:59.240 cover.
00:39:59.700 But like the Rubio
00:40:00.740 drinking water, the
00:40:02.140 one that I remember
00:40:03.020 more than anything was
00:40:04.020 Bobby Jindal walking
00:40:05.280 into the foray.
00:40:07.080 And that was a
00:40:10.540 still everything
00:40:11.360 afterwards is going
00:40:12.360 to be a complete
00:40:13.200 because the optics of
00:40:14.940 it, you go from this
00:40:15.780 filled hall of applause
00:40:17.720 and all the pomp and
00:40:18.620 circumstance of the
00:40:19.340 State of the Union
00:40:19.900 and then it's like a
00:40:20.520 cold camera, you know?
00:40:22.060 That's why they
00:40:22.500 shouldn't do it like
00:40:23.200 that.
00:40:23.500 They need somebody
00:40:24.340 nimble.
00:40:24.880 You know what they
00:40:25.180 should have done?
00:40:25.620 They should have
00:40:25.940 gotten somebody like
00:40:26.620 Byron Donald to go
00:40:28.180 out there and just not
00:40:29.200 even have a script and
00:40:29.940 be like, everything you
00:40:31.100 just heard was bullshit
00:40:31.940 without using my
00:40:33.180 colorful language.
00:40:34.260 Like that stuff about
00:40:35.140 the border, he's
00:40:36.000 responsible for that.
00:40:37.040 You know, the stuff
00:40:37.880 about the economy, those
00:40:39.120 are lies.
00:40:39.620 How do you feel his
00:40:40.420 inflation reduction
00:40:41.880 act when you go to
00:40:42.680 the grocery store?
00:40:43.620 Like somebody who's
00:40:44.720 nimble and fast on
00:40:45.860 their feet and a good
00:40:46.500 talker, even like a
00:40:47.880 Jim Jordan.
00:40:48.400 I don't care.
00:40:48.720 Somebody who can
00:40:49.320 fight live and
00:40:50.780 respond real time.
00:40:52.580 Yeah.
00:40:52.940 Or I would recommend
00:40:54.240 Mark Robinson, the
00:40:55.700 governor candidate from
00:40:56.640 North Carolina as
00:40:57.640 lieutenant governor.
00:40:58.360 He's done a terrific
00:40:58.880 job.
00:40:59.600 You hand him a mic, he
00:41:00.860 will destroy every
00:41:02.000 left wing narrative
00:41:02.880 put in front of him.
00:41:04.280 And like the way that
00:41:05.200 the media has been
00:41:05.760 trying to do these
00:41:06.440 like, oh, I love him.
00:41:08.120 He's amazing.
00:41:09.180 He's he's the guy
00:41:10.140 with the gender.
00:41:11.600 Oh, I'm in love with
00:41:12.700 him.
00:41:13.220 That's the guy with
00:41:14.060 the I know he's
00:41:15.380 getting hit for like
00:41:16.200 all sort of in a
00:41:17.360 politically incorrect
00:41:18.240 positions on a number
00:41:19.580 of issues, which is
00:41:20.920 fine.
00:41:21.380 Like you can't find a
00:41:23.020 normal leader who
00:41:24.260 doesn't have things
00:41:25.140 that are going to
00:41:25.440 upset the left on all
00:41:26.760 their woke gods.
00:41:27.980 Right.
00:41:28.400 But his rant on the
00:41:29.940 transgender thing was
00:41:31.440 circulated.
00:41:31.960 All my friends were
00:41:32.640 sending it to me.
00:41:33.600 I love this guy.
00:41:34.780 He's the best.
00:41:35.420 He's fantastic.
00:41:36.200 And like, I think
00:41:37.300 that's a really
00:41:38.460 important characteristic
00:41:39.420 is because like Holmes
00:41:40.120 said, you are not
00:41:41.240 going to have, you
00:41:42.700 know, hundreds of
00:41:43.920 your party members in
00:41:44.940 the room with you
00:41:45.560 clapping like seals.
00:41:46.840 So you're going to
00:41:47.620 have to bring that
00:41:48.240 level of showmanship.
00:41:49.400 And someone like Mark
00:41:50.300 Robinson would have
00:41:50.900 been perfect for that
00:41:51.880 situation.
00:41:52.720 Smug, we have it.
00:41:53.580 Hold on.
00:41:53.920 We have it cut.
00:41:54.980 Watch it for the
00:41:55.820 audience who doesn't
00:41:56.380 know who he is.
00:41:57.500 Take a listen.
00:41:58.480 You can go to the
00:41:59.600 doctor and get cut up.
00:42:00.800 You can go down to
00:42:02.420 the dress shop and
00:42:03.320 get made up.
00:42:04.900 You can go down there
00:42:06.240 and get drugged up.
00:42:08.160 But at the end of the
00:42:09.360 day, you were just a
00:42:10.300 drugged up, dressed up,
00:42:13.340 made up, cut up, man
00:42:15.920 or woman.
00:42:17.700 You ain't changed what
00:42:19.120 God put in you, that
00:42:20.360 DNA.
00:42:24.800 He just got my vote.
00:42:26.520 He just got my vote.
00:42:28.100 Yeah.
00:42:28.660 Let's get him.
00:42:29.560 Why?
00:42:29.820 Honestly, like, you
00:42:31.300 know, but they went,
00:42:32.340 they, I look, obviously
00:42:34.300 he would be a diverse
00:42:35.580 choice too, but I think
00:42:36.880 they went with Katie
00:42:37.540 Britt because she's
00:42:38.500 diverse.
00:42:38.820 She's a woman.
00:42:39.460 The GOP is struggling
00:42:40.300 with women and they
00:42:41.400 just, I don't know,
00:42:42.040 who's, who's making
00:42:42.780 these decisions?
00:42:43.340 Cause I don't think
00:42:43.980 they understand women
00:42:44.680 at all.
00:42:45.380 What they don't, we
00:42:45.980 don't want to see some
00:42:47.660 kind of meek woman
00:42:49.000 sitting in her kitchen
00:42:50.440 acting overly dramatic.
00:42:52.560 Those friends annoy us.
00:42:54.380 We want somebody at
00:42:55.540 maybe like give her a
00:42:56.480 glass of wine and she
00:42:57.680 can be like sisters.
00:42:58.740 Let me tell you what
00:43:00.040 the Democrats are doing
00:43:00.780 to our children.
00:43:01.340 This is fucked up.
00:43:02.560 Like you need somebody
00:43:03.860 you can talk directly
00:43:04.820 to like, who do they
00:43:06.060 think Republican women
00:43:07.120 are?
00:43:07.740 It's not like Carolyn
00:43:09.360 Ingalls sitting on the
00:43:11.100 prairie, needing
00:43:12.380 someone to work on the
00:43:14.220 fear and feel our pain.
00:43:17.220 Like Holmes, is there a
00:43:18.020 rule that they have to be
00:43:18.520 elected or could we have
00:43:19.280 had Megan do this?
00:43:20.520 No, I mean, there is
00:43:21.500 no, there is no rule.
00:43:23.220 I mean, look, the whole
00:43:24.280 process is fairly
00:43:25.200 antiquated, right?
00:43:26.460 I mean, it's designed to
00:43:29.260 try to mitigate risk, but
00:43:30.960 it actually creates more
00:43:32.420 risk because-
00:43:34.060 How many careers can we
00:43:34.680 take out?
00:43:36.060 I mean, just as you said,
00:43:37.460 it's like the media
00:43:39.660 landscape has changed
00:43:40.720 entirely.
00:43:41.700 And yet we still kind of
00:43:42.600 go back to that same
00:43:43.900 thing.
00:43:44.380 I remember once back, I
00:43:45.700 think this was 2010 or
00:43:46.720 2011, we decided to roll
00:43:49.780 the dice.
00:43:50.260 Remember Bob McDonald,
00:43:51.920 the governor of
00:43:53.460 Virginia, who had just
00:43:54.380 been elected in
00:43:55.100 Virginia and especially
00:43:56.040 off your election.
00:43:58.800 And we had him do it
00:44:00.520 in the Virginia House of
00:44:03.000 Delegates with the
00:44:05.580 crowd.
00:44:06.100 And it kind of looked a
00:44:07.280 little bit like the
00:44:08.000 State of the Union.
00:44:09.020 And I felt like that was
00:44:10.780 one of our best things
00:44:11.920 because we were way
00:44:12.620 outside of the box.
00:44:13.740 But to my knowledge,
00:44:14.780 that's literally the only
00:44:15.780 time that's ever
00:44:16.460 happened.
00:44:17.540 And I think you're
00:44:18.540 right.
00:44:18.800 There's no upside to
00:44:20.000 doing it.
00:44:20.380 I bet that's why a lot
00:44:21.280 of folks, I mean, if
00:44:22.140 they were approached, if
00:44:23.040 I would be approached,
00:44:24.840 I'd say, heck no.
00:44:26.120 What's the upside here?
00:44:27.480 Everyone's waiting for me
00:44:28.320 to bomb.
00:44:29.200 But you would do it if
00:44:31.060 you were an elected
00:44:33.780 official.
00:44:34.500 Like, I think Byron
00:44:35.180 Donalds would have been
00:44:35.720 a great choice because
00:44:36.460 I've talked to him many
00:44:37.520 times.
00:44:37.880 He's very fast on his
00:44:39.100 feet and he's very
00:44:40.380 familiar with the
00:44:41.040 issues.
00:44:41.800 And I really think part
00:44:42.660 of the problem, the
00:44:43.340 only reason you need to
00:44:44.280 set it up with that sort
00:44:45.100 of architecture, with,
00:44:46.540 you know, a new, a
00:44:47.340 second fake crowd of
00:44:48.340 your own is if you're
00:44:49.680 trying to make your
00:44:50.700 thing like the state of
00:44:52.360 the union thing, you
00:44:53.700 have to do it just
00:44:54.720 completely counter
00:44:56.120 program.
00:44:56.520 Don't even try any of
00:44:57.420 that.
00:44:57.680 Just go do something
00:44:59.320 lame like me with the
00:45:00.280 books in the background
00:45:00.920 here in Montana.
00:45:01.580 It's not my real studio.
00:45:02.840 Do something that's, it's
00:45:03.780 not about trying to
00:45:04.480 impress you.
00:45:04.960 It's just me.
00:45:05.740 It's just me, not me
00:45:07.140 because I don't want to
00:45:07.820 do this, but, and I'm
00:45:09.020 not even a Republican.
00:45:09.640 Um, just somebody like me
00:45:12.760 in front of a camera
00:45:14.200 saying like the stuff I
00:45:15.820 just said, you know,
00:45:16.680 like talk to people real
00:45:18.080 and make it real time.
00:45:19.560 So it actually is a
00:45:21.280 response.
00:45:22.300 It's a response, but
00:45:23.920 they're not nimble
00:45:25.100 enough.
00:45:25.500 They're not quick on
00:45:26.260 their feet.
00:45:26.660 They're afraid they're
00:45:28.100 they're scared to be in
00:45:29.180 front of camera.
00:45:29.680 So ideally you'd get
00:45:30.940 somebody who comes on TV
00:45:32.040 a lot or had a TV
00:45:33.960 program who, you know,
00:45:35.600 radio people like Sean
00:45:37.080 Hannity.
00:45:37.740 He's always been amazing.
00:45:38.640 You need somebody who
00:45:39.980 can speak extemporaneously
00:45:41.320 about the issues in a
00:45:42.600 compelling, quick way.
00:45:44.120 Or like Carrie Lake.
00:45:45.260 I mean, this is someone
00:45:45.980 who's got a tremendous
00:45:47.140 experience in front of
00:45:48.440 the camera.
00:45:49.400 And that's why like
00:45:49.980 anytime she, she, she'd
00:45:51.440 be amazing.
00:45:52.580 Terrific at it.
00:45:53.500 I still think Megan's
00:45:54.560 the best idea.
00:45:55.300 And you can tell by her
00:45:56.160 backdrop, she's very well
00:45:57.560 read.
00:45:58.040 Yeah.
00:45:58.580 That's what I'm getting
00:45:59.420 from the backdrop.
00:46:00.180 That's speaking to me.
00:46:01.260 This is someone who
00:46:02.160 knows the issues.
00:46:03.940 Only, I only took the
00:46:05.500 white books for behind
00:46:06.800 my, my, my scenery.
00:46:08.640 All my other books
00:46:09.560 are on the corner.
00:46:10.280 I do have non-white books
00:46:11.620 for all of you, you know,
00:46:13.080 calling me a Karen.
00:46:15.300 Karen only gets white
00:46:16.340 books.
00:46:19.740 Perfect.
00:46:20.460 All right.
00:46:21.120 I'm going to stand you by.
00:46:22.200 I'm going to do an ad.
00:46:22.880 We're going to come back
00:46:23.360 and I'm going to talk
00:46:23.820 about another person who
00:46:25.440 I think Trump might have
00:46:27.180 been referring to.
00:46:28.120 I don't, I don't, she's
00:46:29.280 not as strong a contender
00:46:30.320 as behaving inappropriately.
00:46:32.600 And you're going to tell
00:46:33.260 me whether I have it
00:46:34.300 right.
00:46:34.620 Stand by the guys who
00:46:35.340 have the ruthless
00:46:35.860 program.
00:46:36.880 Stay with us.
00:46:38.020 Up next, we are going
00:46:38.940 to talk about Don Lemon.
00:46:40.920 Oh my God.
00:46:41.480 What a meltdown.
00:46:42.820 Yesterday he interviewed
00:46:44.520 Elon Musk before his
00:46:46.120 show ever got launched
00:46:47.300 on X.
00:46:48.180 It was canceled.
00:46:49.320 He got canceled before
00:46:50.260 he started, which is a
00:46:51.200 new, that's a new kind
00:46:52.860 of cancellation.
00:46:53.980 Great job, Don.
00:46:55.180 Stand by.
00:46:55.760 We'll get into all of it.
00:46:56.760 And while I have you,
00:46:57.320 don't forget to go over
00:46:57.980 to youtube.com slash
00:46:59.260 Megan Kelly and subscribe.
00:47:00.600 If you would like to
00:47:01.340 watch the show, you can
00:47:02.640 download on podcasts
00:47:04.160 wherever you get yours
00:47:05.020 for free.
00:47:10.080 Welcome Ashbrook.
00:47:11.220 Glad you could make it.
00:47:12.200 Thank you for joining.
00:47:13.480 We were going over
00:47:14.980 possible vice
00:47:15.900 presidential picks because
00:47:16.940 Trump says he's
00:47:17.840 eliminated some people
00:47:18.920 because they quote
00:47:19.760 behaved inappropriately.
00:47:21.640 I am theorizing that
00:47:23.180 Katie Britt is now out
00:47:25.020 because of the state of
00:47:25.860 the union response.
00:47:27.800 Holmes does not think
00:47:28.520 she was ever in the
00:47:29.780 running at all.
00:47:30.600 Here is another person
00:47:32.360 who may, may or may
00:47:34.700 not have quote
00:47:35.440 behaved inappropriately
00:47:37.160 to the point where
00:47:38.340 they're no longer
00:47:38.980 being considered.
00:47:40.000 I give you South
00:47:41.540 Dakota governor
00:47:42.360 Kristi Noem, who
00:47:44.100 for some reason
00:47:45.760 I see what you're
00:47:50.200 doing here.
00:47:50.700 You know, you know
00:47:51.820 what you're doing here.
00:47:53.660 You know, this is
00:47:54.400 perfect for you.
00:47:55.080 She put out like an ad.
00:47:59.920 I don't know, you know,
00:48:01.060 like a promo for a dentist
00:48:04.080 who's not in South Dakota.
00:48:06.100 The guy is in Texas
00:48:08.480 and he gave her veneers
00:48:11.760 on her teeth, like not
00:48:13.020 just Invisalign or braces
00:48:15.900 or whitening, but like a
00:48:17.420 whole new set of teeth.
00:48:18.740 Veneers, I think, are caps.
00:48:20.840 And she got him.
00:48:22.720 And the guy did a good job.
00:48:24.460 We'll show you the before
00:48:25.120 and after.
00:48:25.600 But here she is
00:48:26.960 praising the guy.
00:48:28.820 I have needed to have
00:48:30.460 an adjustment to my teeth
00:48:31.600 from a biking accident.
00:48:32.800 I did a consultation here
00:48:34.160 at Smile Texas
00:48:35.260 and did it by Zoom.
00:48:36.460 I spent my whole life
00:48:37.400 farming and ranching,
00:48:38.500 riding horses, chasing cows,
00:48:40.080 and then got into
00:48:41.060 government and politics
00:48:42.440 where everything is
00:48:43.500 speaking and interviews
00:48:45.340 and giving speeches.
00:48:46.420 I want when people
00:48:47.740 look at me to hear
00:48:48.500 the words that I say
00:48:49.520 and not be distracted
00:48:50.500 by something that
00:48:51.940 I'm wearing or how I look.
00:48:54.220 When they showed me
00:48:55.380 my beautiful new teeth,
00:48:57.500 I hugged Dr. Davis
00:48:59.540 and thanked him
00:49:00.960 and started to cry
00:49:02.240 just because he really
00:49:03.940 does care about
00:49:05.560 the work that he does.
00:49:06.340 It has been a gift
00:49:07.240 to be here at Smile Texas.
00:49:09.820 Okay.
00:49:12.060 Don't know why she did that.
00:49:13.600 But now she's getting sued
00:49:16.500 by Travelers United,
00:49:19.560 a consumer advocacy nonprofit,
00:49:21.840 because they are saying
00:49:23.440 you violated the law
00:49:24.820 by doing what was clearly
00:49:26.320 a paid advertisement
00:49:27.420 and you didn't disclose
00:49:29.900 that it was an advertisement.
00:49:31.440 Remember, Kim Kardashian's
00:49:32.720 got in trouble for this
00:49:33.440 on social media.
00:49:34.440 If you're actually
00:49:34.980 going to promote something
00:49:35.720 and you're receiving
00:49:36.380 either money or a benefit in kind,
00:49:37.980 like if you got your veneers
00:49:38.940 for free or a discount,
00:49:40.440 you have to disclose that.
00:49:41.740 You're required.
00:49:42.440 So this whole thing
00:49:43.800 has caused some problems
00:49:45.400 for her, I guess,
00:49:46.720 and is a little weird
00:49:48.640 for someone reportedly
00:49:50.020 trying to get on the shortlist.
00:49:51.420 I like Kristi Noem,
00:49:52.240 but what do you think of this?
00:49:54.240 I think she's being
00:49:54.960 unfairly attacked.
00:49:56.500 She's trying to stimulate
00:49:57.620 trade between
00:49:58.380 South Dakota and Texas.
00:49:59.900 In the form of better teeth.
00:50:01.660 Yeah.
00:50:02.040 You know, there's a lot
00:50:02.900 of economic activity
00:50:04.080 that could happen
00:50:04.640 between South Dakota
00:50:05.480 and Texas,
00:50:06.000 and she's trying to raise
00:50:07.020 awareness of this,
00:50:07.900 and now she's being attacked.
00:50:10.560 You know, Dr. Smile,
00:50:11.800 I'm available too.
00:50:13.960 Dr. Davis does amazing work.
00:50:16.480 Look, and I'm not getting paid
00:50:17.540 to say that.
00:50:18.600 I don't know Dr. Davis,
00:50:19.540 but look at the before and afters.
00:50:20.660 Hold on.
00:50:21.240 We're going to put it on the board.
00:50:22.620 Look at this.
00:50:23.460 He does good work.
00:50:24.360 Well done.
00:50:25.000 Let's do a close-up.
00:50:25.980 Look, we're going to show you
00:50:26.680 the close-up.
00:50:27.480 Stand by.
00:50:28.480 Yeah, Dr. Davis, huh?
00:50:32.100 I mean, look,
00:50:32.920 I guess it worked out for him.
00:50:34.620 I gotta say,
00:50:35.760 well, it worked out for him.
00:50:36.660 I don't know this is going to
00:50:37.340 work out for her
00:50:38.160 or whether this is, like,
00:50:39.460 appropriate gubernatorial
00:50:41.380 or vice presidential material.
00:50:43.800 Go ahead, Ashbrook.
00:50:44.660 Well, this is the thing.
00:50:45.520 I'm sure Dr. Davis
00:50:46.420 is a perfectly nice guy,
00:50:48.020 obviously capable technician,
00:50:49.940 but there's not a dentist
00:50:51.480 in Sioux Falls.
00:50:53.080 Like, there's not,
00:50:53.720 how about just walking
00:50:54.520 down the street
00:50:55.220 and finding some dentist,
00:50:56.560 like, around the corner?
00:50:57.640 Not to do that kind of work.
00:50:59.140 Are you kidding me?
00:50:59.780 I know.
00:51:00.140 What does this say
00:51:00.760 to the guys in South Dakota?
00:51:02.560 Right?
00:51:02.880 Right.
00:51:03.120 Couldn't find anybody
00:51:03.660 to do that to you there?
00:51:05.120 Exactly.
00:51:05.760 I don't know.
00:51:06.480 I think it's a step up.
00:51:07.400 I don't know if you saw her,
00:51:08.160 like, PSA ads in South Dakota.
00:51:11.240 Do you guys see any of that?
00:51:12.180 Oh, yeah.
00:51:12.200 Where she was, like,
00:51:12.920 in the doctor's office
00:51:14.040 and all of that?
00:51:14.920 Yeah.
00:51:15.100 That kind of gave you
00:51:15.960 some weird vibes.
00:51:17.020 I feel like this is a step up
00:51:18.160 in that situation.
00:51:19.060 I don't get it.
00:51:19.760 I love the teeth, though.
00:51:21.000 She's a beautiful woman.
00:51:22.180 And Dr. Davis,
00:51:23.100 I mean, thumbs up to you, sir.
00:51:24.300 You do beautiful work.
00:51:25.520 And I mean,
00:51:26.200 now I think we're all thinking
00:51:27.180 about getting veneers.
00:51:27.940 That was an amazing end product.
00:51:32.500 She's not the only one
00:51:33.480 in the VP.
00:51:34.300 Hunt, though.
00:51:34.900 I move on now to RFKJ,
00:51:37.540 who has made news in,
00:51:39.900 well, the news was reportedly
00:51:41.000 that basically everybody
00:51:42.540 he asked said no.
00:51:43.620 Like Rand Paul, no.
00:51:45.660 Tulsi Gabbard, no.
00:51:47.600 I think there were others
00:51:48.400 on the list.
00:51:48.920 It was all no's.
00:51:50.140 And then now,
00:51:51.460 the last two men
00:51:52.500 reportedly on the short list
00:51:54.200 are Jesse Ventura,
00:51:57.120 former WWE star
00:51:59.120 and governor of Minnesota,
00:52:01.140 and Aaron Rodgers,
00:52:05.540 New York Jets quarterback.
00:52:08.240 I think he's quarterback.
00:52:09.220 You guys know.
00:52:09.980 Here is RFKJ addressing the matter.
00:52:12.100 You know,
00:52:14.100 he's one of the people
00:52:15.240 that we've talked to.
00:52:16.800 I really like Aaron
00:52:18.160 because, you know,
00:52:20.140 our appeal is to young people.
00:52:21.740 We're trying to make sure
00:52:23.140 that young people
00:52:23.880 are participating
00:52:25.540 in the political process,
00:52:26.740 that they have hope for America.
00:52:28.080 We want somebody,
00:52:30.120 the people who have run up
00:52:31.320 the $34 trillion debt,
00:52:32.980 which they're dumping
00:52:33.660 on that generation,
00:52:34.780 are all older people.
00:52:36.960 And we want somebody young
00:52:38.380 who's going to look out
00:52:39.260 for that generation.
00:52:41.260 Aaron Rodgers is battle-tested.
00:52:43.320 He's stood up.
00:52:44.960 He's been hammered by the press,
00:52:46.940 stood up for things we believe.
00:52:48.880 And I like that part
00:52:49.960 of his character.
00:52:50.980 He's a critical thinker,
00:52:52.300 and I think we need that
00:52:53.600 at the time,
00:52:54.220 as, you know,
00:52:54.760 the rise of AI.
00:52:56.180 We need people
00:52:57.080 who understand
00:52:58.140 that you cannot
00:52:58.920 always trust authority
00:53:00.360 just because somebody's
00:53:01.600 in charge.
00:53:02.240 All right.
00:53:04.460 Can I just say one thing
00:53:05.500 before I give it to you guys?
00:53:06.440 It was two years ago,
00:53:07.560 I think, right now,
00:53:08.680 two years ago,
00:53:09.840 this week or this month,
00:53:11.880 that I put RFKJ on this show.
00:53:14.080 After just a ton of research
00:53:15.440 by my team,
00:53:16.240 nobody would platform the guy.
00:53:17.640 He could not get,
00:53:18.600 he was banned everywhere.
00:53:20.240 You couldn't get any airtime.
00:53:22.020 He couldn't.
00:53:23.020 And we put him on,
00:53:24.560 and we did two full days
00:53:25.640 with the guy.
00:53:26.020 It was a great exchange.
00:53:27.740 And he has said
00:53:28.940 that was the beginning
00:53:29.760 of his resurrection
00:53:31.020 in being allowed back
00:53:33.340 into, you know,
00:53:34.660 circles of television
00:53:35.800 and digital media
00:53:37.140 as a voice.
00:53:39.060 And you may not like him,
00:53:40.220 you may love him,
00:53:40.820 but it's ridiculous
00:53:41.940 to have that brilliant
00:53:42.920 American band
00:53:44.160 from having a voice
00:53:45.240 in the conversation.
00:53:45.880 So I will just say
00:53:46.740 it's a personal point of pride
00:53:47.800 to see him now sitting
00:53:48.620 on Fox News
00:53:49.820 delivering his message
00:53:51.420 and, you know,
00:53:52.000 just saying what he believes.
00:53:53.240 And there's a lot of people
00:53:54.180 who feel exactly
00:53:54.880 as he does
00:53:55.320 about big government,
00:53:56.760 the military-industrial complex,
00:53:58.740 vaccines,
00:53:59.360 all of it.
00:53:59.800 So anyway, okay,
00:54:01.340 you go, RFKJ.
00:54:02.620 I'm rooting on
00:54:03.800 his continued resurrection.
00:54:06.220 So Aaron Rodgers,
00:54:08.720 you tell me,
00:54:09.540 is that real
00:54:10.240 or is that an attention-getter?
00:54:12.440 Well, it's certainly
00:54:13.180 an attention-getter, Megan.
00:54:14.840 And if he does pick
00:54:16.160 Aaron Rodgers,
00:54:17.320 and Aaron Rodgers
00:54:17.880 doesn't get hurt
00:54:18.600 this football season,
00:54:19.580 every Sunday
00:54:20.120 we'll be reminded
00:54:20.880 on national television,
00:54:22.920 the most expensive
00:54:23.840 advertising platform
00:54:25.160 on the planet,
00:54:26.200 the NFL
00:54:27.240 at one o'clock
00:54:29.620 and four o'clock
00:54:30.380 that Aaron Rodgers
00:54:31.600 is running
00:54:32.120 for vice president
00:54:33.460 with RFK Jr.
00:54:34.880 But the problem is
00:54:35.920 everybody knows
00:54:36.680 Aaron Rodgers
00:54:38.180 has a weak Achilles
00:54:39.100 and I would look
00:54:40.460 for Stephen Chung
00:54:41.900 or somebody
00:54:42.560 at the Trump campaign
00:54:43.520 to go directly for it
00:54:44.820 because they know
00:54:46.020 exactly how to knock him out
00:54:47.520 and they know
00:54:47.860 how to stop their opposition.
00:54:48.940 My thought on this, Megan,
00:54:51.880 is that he's got
00:54:52.600 the wrong quarterback.
00:54:53.840 I don't know if you,
00:54:54.460 I know you're not
00:54:54.940 a huge NFL person,
00:54:56.280 but if Kirk Cousins,
00:54:57.820 former Minnesota Viking,
00:54:59.320 one of my, you know,
00:55:01.300 guys I rooted on for years.
00:55:02.980 If you're looking
00:55:03.840 for somebody
00:55:04.440 who's very strong
00:55:05.220 on the economy,
00:55:06.340 I'm not sure
00:55:06.980 that you can think
00:55:07.760 of a single person
00:55:09.000 who is more qualified
00:55:10.200 than somebody
00:55:11.140 who's made
00:55:11.440 half a billion dollars
00:55:12.640 in the NFL
00:55:13.380 and won one playoff game.
00:55:16.100 So that was big news
00:55:18.280 this week
00:55:18.820 and I think
00:55:19.240 maybe an adjustment
00:55:20.160 on the quarterback
00:55:20.700 might be.
00:55:21.680 I'm just surprised
00:55:22.560 that more ambitious
00:55:23.660 politicians
00:55:24.500 didn't say yes
00:55:25.460 to his offer for VP.
00:55:27.180 I mean, statistically,
00:55:28.460 every vice president
00:55:29.740 for President Kennedy
00:55:30.460 has gone on
00:55:30.840 to become president.
00:55:31.760 Like,
00:55:32.120 you just follow the odds.
00:55:34.780 I actually think
00:55:36.340 Tulsi Gabbard
00:55:37.020 makes a lot of sense.
00:55:38.300 She's like,
00:55:38.820 you know,
00:55:39.440 right?
00:55:40.540 Democrat,
00:55:41.220 now independent.
00:55:42.240 That's kind of what he is.
00:55:43.240 He says he's still a Democrat,
00:55:44.200 but, you know,
00:55:44.660 he's running as an independent.
00:55:46.460 I think,
00:55:47.040 you know,
00:55:47.600 picking an NFL
00:55:48.260 player is also complicated.
00:55:49.800 We're going through
00:55:50.260 free agency right now
00:55:51.460 and I,
00:55:52.180 you know,
00:55:52.320 I'm not commissioner
00:55:52.880 of the NFL,
00:55:53.600 but I have to imagine
00:55:54.380 if you get selected
00:55:55.520 to run for vice president
00:55:56.720 of the United States,
00:55:58.080 you know,
00:55:58.460 either they're going
00:55:58.980 to have to share
00:55:59.480 the contract
00:56:00.120 with the Jets organization
00:56:01.180 so they can get back
00:56:02.080 a little bit
00:56:02.440 of their cap space,
00:56:03.280 which is probably fantastic,
00:56:04.400 but then also
00:56:05.060 maybe some conditional
00:56:05.840 picks down the road
00:56:06.660 for the NFL.
00:56:07.060 Yeah,
00:56:07.260 that'd be nice.
00:56:08.380 If they could work out
00:56:09.740 that deal,
00:56:10.260 I think he'd be
00:56:10.880 the perfect selection.
00:56:11.960 Well,
00:56:12.100 if anybody could do it,
00:56:12.980 it's Woody Johnson,
00:56:13.780 the owner of the Jets,
00:56:14.600 a great businessman.
00:56:15.860 This guy really,
00:56:16.660 really knows what he's doing.
00:56:17.060 And he's interested in politics.
00:56:18.060 There we go.
00:56:18.620 Yeah,
00:56:18.820 no,
00:56:19.060 he is.
00:56:19.420 He was,
00:56:19.740 he was Trump's ambassador.
00:56:21.840 Okay.
00:56:23.280 Yeah.
00:56:23.760 That's right.
00:56:24.620 Now we're just getting this,
00:56:25.720 this is actually breaking news.
00:56:27.080 After,
00:56:27.580 okay,
00:56:29.640 Aaron Rodgers spoke out Thursday,
00:56:32.180 that's today,
00:56:32.960 on X,
00:56:34.000 in the wake of a CNN report,
00:56:36.460 which decided to attack him
00:56:38.100 in the,
00:56:38.800 in the wake of the news
00:56:39.620 that he might be
00:56:40.120 our next vice president.
00:56:41.300 Of course.
00:56:41.760 It's a long shot,
00:56:42.780 to say the least.
00:56:44.000 Decided it was time
00:56:44.780 to start doing hit pieces
00:56:45.700 on Aaron Rodgers,
00:56:46.860 I guess.
00:56:47.860 And they,
00:56:48.680 I saw this headline
00:56:49.620 of CNN suggesting he had,
00:56:51.740 he was like an Alex Jones
00:56:52.700 on Sandy Hook.
00:56:53.540 Yeah,
00:56:53.860 I saw this.
00:56:54.540 That he was engaging
00:56:55.680 in Sandy Hook conspiracy theories,
00:56:57.800 you know,
00:56:57.960 that it never happened,
00:56:59.180 that the children didn't die.
00:57:01.120 And then I saw
00:57:02.380 considerable pushback.
00:57:03.500 I confessed to my audience,
00:57:04.720 I didn't do any investigation.
00:57:06.240 I was not planning on going there
00:57:07.480 on today's show,
00:57:08.500 but this is just breaking.
00:57:09.840 That he spoke out Thursday,
00:57:12.980 just now,
00:57:13.640 in the wake of that CNN report,
00:57:15.260 alleging that he floated
00:57:15.980 this conspiracy theory
00:57:16.940 about Sandy Hook.
00:57:18.140 CNN had reported
00:57:18.960 that it knows
00:57:20.060 of two people
00:57:22.440 with whom Rogers
00:57:23.380 has, quote,
00:57:24.260 enthusiastically shared
00:57:25.400 these stories,
00:57:26.460 including with Pamela Brown,
00:57:28.260 one of the journalists
00:57:29.020 writing this piece.
00:57:30.200 When Brown questioned him
00:57:31.480 on the evidence
00:57:32.340 in 2013
00:57:33.540 to show this very real
00:57:36.180 shooting was staged,
00:57:37.820 Rogers began sharing
00:57:40.040 various theories
00:57:40.920 that have been disproven
00:57:42.180 numerous times.
00:57:43.120 Wait,
00:57:43.380 question him on the evidence.
00:57:45.020 Oh, she's,
00:57:45.700 I mean,
00:57:45.900 the conspiracy theories
00:57:47.280 that it was staged
00:57:47.980 and she was asking him that
00:57:49.080 and he began sharing
00:57:50.020 various theories
00:57:50.700 that have been disproven
00:57:51.900 numerous times.
00:57:52.840 His post on X,
00:57:53.980 quote,
00:57:54.660 as I'm on the record
00:57:55.680 saying in the past,
00:57:57.080 what happened in Sandy Hook
00:57:58.020 was an absolute tragedy.
00:57:59.160 I am not
00:57:59.680 and have never been
00:58:00.500 of the opinion
00:58:01.140 that the events
00:58:02.020 did not take place.
00:58:03.240 Again,
00:58:03.480 I hope that we learn
00:58:04.220 from this
00:58:04.680 and other tragedies
00:58:06.020 to identify the signs
00:58:07.000 that will allow us
00:58:07.740 to prevent
00:58:08.140 unnecessary loss of life.
00:58:09.860 My thoughts and prayers
00:58:10.520 continue to remain
00:58:11.280 with the families
00:58:11.840 affected along the entire,
00:58:13.960 along with the entire
00:58:14.820 Sandy Hook community.
00:58:15.860 I mean,
00:58:16.160 this is like,
00:58:16.900 I don't know what
00:58:17.500 the truth is about him,
00:58:18.500 but that is not something
00:58:20.140 you report if it's not true.
00:58:21.400 I mean,
00:58:21.560 that is bullshit.
00:58:22.180 If CNN reported
00:58:22.860 it's not true,
00:58:23.620 that's,
00:58:24.020 that is effed up.
00:58:25.540 And if he said it,
00:58:26.700 even more effed up.
00:58:28.360 Yeah.
00:58:29.020 No,
00:58:29.420 I mean,
00:58:29.720 it's,
00:58:29.980 first of all,
00:58:30.520 it's kind of garbage
00:58:31.180 journalism to begin with.
00:58:32.180 What you're talking about
00:58:32.820 is a conversation
00:58:33.460 that allegedly took place
00:58:34.780 11 years ago.
00:58:35.920 I mean,
00:58:36.060 it was pretty newsworthy
00:58:36.840 at the time,
00:58:37.960 you know,
00:58:38.420 but apparently not
00:58:39.720 newsworthy enough
00:58:40.440 for Pamela Brown
00:58:41.220 to go with it
00:58:41.920 at the time.
00:58:43.560 And so now,
00:58:44.560 like 11 years later
00:58:46.020 in a political context,
00:58:47.340 all of a sudden,
00:58:47.920 now we got to
00:58:48.420 talk that through
00:58:49.820 in public.
00:58:50.980 I mean,
00:58:51.480 now that he's
00:58:52.020 going to RFKJ.
00:58:53.440 Right.
00:58:53.980 I mean,
00:58:54.160 I don't know
00:58:54.980 whether it's true
00:58:55.620 or I don't know
00:58:56.080 anything about Aaron Rodgers
00:58:57.140 other than his public persona
00:58:58.360 and that he plays football
00:58:59.320 and he's got
00:58:59.620 a pretty good arm.
00:59:00.280 But like,
00:59:01.640 it just seems to me
00:59:02.720 that this,
00:59:03.220 we just,
00:59:03.760 this is why people
00:59:04.740 hate media.
00:59:05.820 This is why.
00:59:06.640 This is like
00:59:07.100 the definition of why.
00:59:09.640 I'll just hold it
00:59:10.500 in my pocket
00:59:11.120 until you run
00:59:11.920 for office
00:59:12.440 on a ticket
00:59:12.980 I don't like
00:59:13.740 and then I'll get you.
00:59:15.740 Yeah.
00:59:16.020 That has to be
00:59:16.740 really hard
00:59:17.100 for Holmes
00:59:17.520 to admit
00:59:17.940 that he has
00:59:18.380 a good arm
00:59:19.160 as a Minnesota
00:59:19.860 Vikings fan.
00:59:21.160 I'm not proud of it.
00:59:22.400 Yeah.
00:59:22.660 No.
00:59:23.120 So you're rooting
00:59:23.540 for Jesse Ventura.
00:59:25.180 Oh, God.
00:59:25.880 I lived through that.
00:59:27.100 I was a Minnesotan
00:59:28.100 at that era.
00:59:28.840 That was not our finest.
00:59:29.760 How did that go?
00:59:30.600 Not great.
00:59:31.640 Not great.
00:59:33.300 Okay.
00:59:34.320 Okay.
00:59:34.800 Well, speaking of,
00:59:36.280 yeah, go ahead.
00:59:37.400 Oh, I was going to say
00:59:37.920 the one thing
00:59:38.220 in that statement
00:59:39.380 is it did sound
00:59:40.580 like a guy
00:59:41.000 who might be running
00:59:41.620 for vice president.
00:59:42.500 It did.
00:59:43.080 It was very PR heavy.
00:59:45.040 That's true.
00:59:46.020 All right.
00:59:46.320 Now,
00:59:46.720 I do want to get
00:59:47.980 to Don Lemon
00:59:48.520 because that's
00:59:49.020 my favorite story
00:59:49.600 of the day.
00:59:49.860 But can I just ask you
00:59:50.480 quickly to weigh in
00:59:51.080 on Ken Buck?
00:59:52.440 Sure.
00:59:52.880 Ken Buck
00:59:53.040 announcing like
00:59:54.600 his immediate retirement
00:59:55.600 from Congress.
00:59:57.000 And, you know,
00:59:57.760 there's a lot of people
00:59:58.620 saying,
00:59:58.960 holy shit.
00:59:59.760 There's not enough
01:00:00.420 of a margin there
01:00:01.180 for the Republicans
01:00:01.760 to spare it,
01:00:02.980 although they still
01:00:04.200 need to win
01:00:04.640 everything by two.
01:00:05.740 You know,
01:00:05.840 I don't,
01:00:06.100 it's like they're still
01:00:07.480 on a very,
01:00:08.020 very slim majority
01:00:08.820 in the House,
01:00:09.480 either way,
01:00:09.880 with or without him.
01:00:10.800 So how does this
01:00:12.180 affect anything
01:00:13.280 with the Republicans
01:00:14.160 and what does it tell us
01:00:15.480 about the state
01:00:16.920 of the Republican Party?
01:00:18.100 Well,
01:00:19.100 it goes to one
01:00:20.380 of our chief critiques
01:00:21.560 of the current state
01:00:23.320 of the Republican Party
01:00:24.600 and a lack
01:00:25.560 of team play.
01:00:27.740 And in the House
01:00:28.180 of Representatives,
01:00:28.700 the only way
01:00:29.260 that you get anything
01:00:30.020 done with a conservative
01:00:31.660 majority,
01:00:33.040 especially when you have
01:00:34.580 fewer than five vote
01:00:36.000 majorities,
01:00:36.640 is entirely by
01:00:38.000 working together
01:00:39.060 and trying to do
01:00:40.400 this as a team.
01:00:42.880 And what Ken Buck did,
01:00:44.180 obviously,
01:00:44.940 I think is a reflection
01:00:46.040 of much of what he's
01:00:49.020 done throughout his career.
01:00:50.000 He didn't care
01:00:50.860 about the team,
01:00:51.560 didn't care about
01:00:52.040 the team at all.
01:00:53.300 And the problem is,
01:00:54.120 no, clearly.
01:00:56.180 I mean, he's walking out.
01:00:56.980 I don't know anything
01:00:57.260 about Ken Buck.
01:00:57.980 Can you tell me,
01:00:58.620 tell me more about Ken Buck.
01:00:59.520 I know he did not vote
01:01:00.320 for the Mayorkas impeachment
01:01:01.360 and that I think
01:01:02.620 he's been a Trump critic,
01:01:04.020 but I don't know
01:01:04.860 much more about him.
01:01:06.000 Well, I mean,
01:01:06.340 he's one of the eight
01:01:06.960 that voted against
01:01:07.660 Kevin McCarthy, right?
01:01:09.500 I mean,
01:01:09.920 he's had this,
01:01:11.680 this pattern
01:01:12.320 throughout his career
01:01:13.200 of being this sort
01:01:14.100 of iconoclastic,
01:01:15.600 go it alone type guy
01:01:17.080 that doesn't work
01:01:17.720 within the confines
01:01:18.500 of the team.
01:01:19.020 The problem for your listeners,
01:01:20.760 the problem when
01:01:22.040 you get lawmakers
01:01:22.880 who do that
01:01:23.460 in the House of Representatives
01:01:24.520 is that for every Republican
01:01:26.840 you lose,
01:01:27.500 you need to go pick up
01:01:28.280 a Democrat.
01:01:29.280 And when you do that,
01:01:30.220 everything drifts
01:01:31.340 further and further
01:01:32.540 to the left.
01:01:33.500 Like if you're passing
01:01:34.400 a spending bill
01:01:35.220 and you need 30
01:01:36.280 Democratic votes
01:01:37.460 because you have 30
01:01:38.160 Republicans that won't
01:01:39.060 vote for it,
01:01:40.080 guess what happens?
01:01:40.800 That's how you get
01:01:42.120 a $36 trillion debt
01:01:43.680 because you have to,
01:01:44.960 there's a price of admission
01:01:46.060 for all these people
01:01:47.200 coming together
01:01:47.820 if you don't play team ball.
01:01:49.500 And I think Ken Buck
01:01:50.380 is just the latest
01:01:51.080 perfect example
01:01:52.100 of somebody
01:01:52.620 who's really let
01:01:54.100 the center right
01:01:55.240 and the conservative movement
01:01:56.600 down in this country
01:01:58.140 by failing to see
01:01:59.180 the larger objectives
01:02:00.380 that he said
01:02:01.720 he was trying to run
01:02:02.620 for Congress for
01:02:03.320 in the first place.
01:02:03.980 Why is this bad
01:02:05.500 for Lauren Boebert?
01:02:07.660 Ooh.
01:02:08.920 Duncan,
01:02:09.420 do you understand
01:02:09.900 the intricacies of that?
01:02:11.080 I actually asked Duncan
01:02:12.140 how it worked yesterday.
01:02:13.480 I don't think it's
01:02:14.300 bad for Lauren Boebert.
01:02:16.320 She's going to move
01:02:17.060 out of her current district
01:02:18.260 to run in that seat,
01:02:20.920 but she's declining
01:02:22.080 to run in the special election
01:02:23.380 to replace Ken Buck
01:02:24.420 because she says
01:02:25.000 she wants to be focused
01:02:25.740 on that general election
01:02:27.660 rather than kind of
01:02:28.700 abandoning her current
01:02:29.580 constituents,
01:02:30.420 which I think is probably
01:02:31.420 the right decision.
01:02:34.920 But, you know,
01:02:35.900 I...
01:02:36.640 Well, it's really tricky too
01:02:37.680 because, and we know
01:02:38.560 Colorado,
01:02:39.860 not unsusceptible
01:02:41.880 to trickery
01:02:42.820 amongst the judicial
01:02:44.920 branch there.
01:02:46.120 Yeah.
01:02:46.260 But what could potentially
01:02:47.460 happen there
01:02:48.220 is if she,
01:02:49.060 they redistribute
01:02:49.940 her district
01:02:50.400 to make it
01:02:50.940 much more Democrat.
01:02:52.580 And so she's moving
01:02:53.360 into the Ken Buck district
01:02:54.500 to run for that district.
01:02:55.440 But you could see
01:02:56.220 if she were to run
01:02:57.240 in a special election,
01:02:58.840 she would have to give up
01:03:00.560 her district
01:03:01.240 which is now
01:03:01.800 very Democrat,
01:03:02.760 you could lose
01:03:03.220 another Republican seat
01:03:04.420 on that, right?
01:03:05.900 But the challenge...
01:03:06.940 I don't understand
01:03:07.100 anything other than
01:03:07.940 the last thing you said,
01:03:09.040 which makes sense to me.
01:03:10.140 So they could lose
01:03:11.300 yet another seat.
01:03:13.280 Yeah.
01:03:13.620 But the real question is,
01:03:14.460 are they in danger?
01:03:15.140 I mean, like,
01:03:15.380 if they have two more
01:03:16.060 retirements between now
01:03:17.200 and the next election,
01:03:18.240 then we have a speaker,
01:03:19.340 Jeffries?
01:03:20.340 Yes.
01:03:21.040 Yes.
01:03:21.600 Without question.
01:03:22.240 And it may not even
01:03:22.700 take that.
01:03:23.600 I mean, part of the problem
01:03:24.720 is you get some folks
01:03:26.660 there who are,
01:03:27.680 every time they find
01:03:28.500 something that they disagree
01:03:29.580 with, they're calling
01:03:30.440 for a vacate of the chair,
01:03:32.540 meaning they want
01:03:33.440 to kick Mike Johnson out.
01:03:34.780 They haven't done that yet,
01:03:35.840 thank God.
01:03:36.280 But if they did
01:03:37.260 and you have two absences
01:03:39.060 and United Democratic Front,
01:03:41.540 that vote is going to be
01:03:42.980 a Speaker Jeffries, right?
01:03:44.760 So, I mean,
01:03:45.320 you don't even need
01:03:46.120 the retirements.
01:03:48.260 They're very,
01:03:49.720 very thinly
01:03:50.440 holding on to a majority.
01:03:52.180 I think what they need
01:03:53.700 in the United States Congress
01:03:55.160 is one of those,
01:03:55.720 you know,
01:03:55.860 those safety at work signs
01:03:57.300 where it's like,
01:03:58.280 you know,
01:03:58.560 it's been 45 days
01:03:59.480 since our last accident.
01:04:00.780 They need one of those
01:04:01.820 signs on the wall
01:04:02.460 and it's been zero days
01:04:04.140 since we lost a Republican.
01:04:09.940 That would be,
01:04:10.940 yeah.
01:04:11.640 Well,
01:04:12.160 this doesn't sound
01:04:12.840 like good news.
01:04:13.520 The GOP is so fractured.
01:04:14.920 It's like the Dems
01:04:15.660 have the crazy squad,
01:04:16.940 but other than that,
01:04:17.680 they vote together
01:04:18.420 and the Republican Party
01:04:20.020 has just been in disarray
01:04:21.660 for a number of years
01:04:22.920 and we'll see.
01:04:23.840 We'll see whether
01:04:24.380 Donald Trump
01:04:24.960 has enough coattails
01:04:26.860 to bring them back together
01:04:28.400 and bring a big majority
01:04:29.660 into one or both
01:04:30.880 houses of Congress,
01:04:31.640 but it's hard
01:04:33.260 to feel hopeful right now
01:04:34.420 given just how bad it is
01:04:36.240 in the lower house
01:04:37.760 in particular,
01:04:38.400 but okay,
01:04:38.960 let's move on
01:04:39.540 to something happier.
01:04:40.480 Don Lemon.
01:04:41.260 Don Lemon got fired again
01:04:42.680 already.
01:04:43.640 He fired before
01:04:44.340 he really got hired.
01:04:46.080 It's very hard
01:04:47.640 for Don Lemon
01:04:48.100 to keep a job
01:04:48.720 and we know why.
01:04:50.960 He got,
01:04:51.580 amazingly,
01:04:52.180 Elon Musk offered him
01:04:53.200 a deal
01:04:54.180 to post a new show
01:04:56.140 on X
01:04:56.820 and Elon Musk
01:04:59.240 is a risk taker,
01:05:00.420 so I guess
01:05:01.680 he thought this would be
01:05:02.600 a fun risk,
01:05:03.340 just as risky,
01:05:04.000 I guess,
01:05:04.320 as like putting spaceships
01:05:05.740 into outer space
01:05:06.780 because it really was
01:05:07.840 just that risky,
01:05:09.140 Elon.
01:05:09.840 He probably just thought,
01:05:11.200 oh,
01:05:11.360 he's like a left-wing commentator.
01:05:12.800 I doubt Elon
01:05:13.620 spent his time
01:05:14.360 watching CNN primetime
01:05:15.960 because literally
01:05:16.600 only two people did.
01:05:17.440 And so he decided
01:05:20.560 to give him a deal
01:05:21.340 at the same time,
01:05:22.360 speaking of Tulsi Gabbard,
01:05:23.340 he gave her a show
01:05:24.220 on X
01:05:24.660 and I think a couple
01:05:25.240 of others.
01:05:25.960 He's trying to make X
01:05:27.000 a platform where,
01:05:27.980 you know,
01:05:28.220 you have voices like
01:05:29.040 Tucker from the right,
01:05:30.020 you have voices like
01:05:30.820 Lemon on the left,
01:05:31.680 and it's a forum
01:05:32.640 for everybody.
01:05:34.060 Well,
01:05:34.820 okay,
01:05:35.900 I will give it to
01:05:37.060 Bill O'Reilly
01:05:37.540 who I saw a clip
01:05:38.540 of him this morning
01:05:39.120 saying,
01:05:39.820 don't interview your boss.
01:05:41.440 That is the lesson
01:05:42.580 that came out
01:05:43.540 of this hot mess
01:05:45.260 of exchange
01:05:46.340 between Don and Elon
01:05:47.460 because Elon gave Don
01:05:48.560 an interview
01:05:49.300 to launch on his first show
01:05:50.840 and I will say
01:05:52.840 Don Lemon
01:05:53.460 behaved like an asshole
01:05:55.300 who was not grateful
01:05:57.780 to Elon Musk
01:05:58.820 for resurrecting
01:06:00.120 his career.
01:06:01.820 And O'Reilly's right.
01:06:03.820 It's very hard
01:06:05.000 for Don Lemon
01:06:05.560 in this position
01:06:06.100 to both be a good journalist
01:06:07.600 and be a good employee.
01:06:09.560 You know,
01:06:10.580 the man's paying
01:06:11.880 your salary.
01:06:12.900 So you do owe him
01:06:14.320 a level of respect
01:06:15.780 and discretion.
01:06:18.620 And at the same time,
01:06:20.480 you want to prove to us
01:06:21.400 in your first interview back
01:06:22.320 how hard-hitting you are
01:06:23.700 and those two goals
01:06:25.400 are not aligned.
01:06:26.380 So I don't blame Elon
01:06:27.520 for being mad
01:06:28.740 at the way he was treated,
01:06:30.300 which now Don is admitting
01:06:32.020 it didn't end well
01:06:33.080 and Elon was pissed off
01:06:34.940 when it ended.
01:06:35.980 And reportedly,
01:06:37.220 Kara Swisher reporting
01:06:38.240 that when it was over,
01:06:39.400 he, Elon,
01:06:40.920 texted a company,
01:06:42.720 you know,
01:06:42.860 a colleague saying,
01:06:44.400 contract canceled.
01:06:46.380 That's how Don's
01:06:47.260 new show got canceled.
01:06:48.880 It's not,
01:06:49.380 the show's not canceled.
01:06:50.300 It can still air on X.
01:06:51.520 It can air wherever
01:06:52.240 he wants it to air.
01:06:53.040 I can air my show on X now.
01:06:54.300 You guys can air your show on X.
01:06:55.580 But he's not going to get paid
01:06:56.560 by Elon for it.
01:06:57.860 And reportedly,
01:06:58.320 there was no written contract.
01:07:00.760 So even though,
01:07:01.860 of course,
01:07:03.200 Don Lemon threw a spokesperson
01:07:04.320 who's the same woman
01:07:06.680 Jeff Zucker was having
01:07:08.320 an affair with
01:07:09.180 Allison Gollis,
01:07:10.660 is threatening to serve.
01:07:13.000 All our old favorites
01:07:14.220 are involved in this one,
01:07:15.480 fellas.
01:07:16.480 Okay?
01:07:17.340 Knock three times.
01:07:19.260 That's the woman.
01:07:20.740 Knock three times
01:07:21.940 on the ceiling.
01:07:23.140 If you want.
01:07:23.740 That was the greatest,
01:07:24.480 ruthless program ever.
01:07:25.320 That was the woman
01:07:27.460 above Jeff Zucker
01:07:29.060 when he lived with his family
01:07:30.180 and they got fired
01:07:31.500 because they were having
01:07:31.960 an affair and all this stuff.
01:07:33.320 And now that woman's
01:07:34.080 representing Don Lemon
01:07:34.880 as a spokesman
01:07:35.560 threatening to sue Elon.
01:07:37.540 Our entire worlds
01:07:38.520 have come together.
01:07:40.020 And I will show you
01:07:41.140 a little bit
01:07:41.820 of what got Don Lemon
01:07:44.160 fired this time.
01:07:46.540 This time.
01:07:49.100 I'll just give you
01:07:50.000 one example.
01:07:51.260 Here he is
01:07:52.060 accusing Musk
01:07:53.040 of allowing hate speech
01:07:54.360 on X and Sop4.
01:07:57.900 Hate speech
01:07:58.740 on the platform
01:08:00.780 is up.
01:08:02.400 Do you believe
01:08:02.940 that X and you
01:08:04.120 have some responsibility
01:08:05.000 to moderate hate speech
01:08:06.740 on the platform?
01:08:07.500 That you wouldn't have
01:08:08.460 to answer these questions
01:08:09.340 from reporters
01:08:10.220 about the great
01:08:10.820 replacement theory
01:08:11.580 as it relates to Democrats?
01:08:12.340 I don't have to answer
01:08:12.800 these questions.
01:08:13.120 The great replacement theory
01:08:14.100 as it relates to Jewish people.
01:08:15.920 Do you think that?
01:08:16.840 I don't have to answer
01:08:17.540 questions from reporters.
01:08:18.980 Don, the only reason
01:08:19.500 I'm doing this interview
01:08:20.180 is because you're on
01:08:21.160 the X platform
01:08:21.800 and you asked for it.
01:08:23.740 Otherwise,
01:08:24.140 I would not do
01:08:25.000 this interview.
01:08:26.360 So you don't think
01:08:26.920 do you think
01:08:27.640 that you wouldn't
01:08:28.160 get in trouble
01:08:28.740 or you wouldn't
01:08:29.220 be criticized
01:08:29.680 for these things?
01:08:30.680 I'm criticized possibly.
01:08:31.840 I could care less.
01:08:37.520 Oh, man.
01:08:38.380 That guy is so great.
01:08:40.040 Wow.
01:08:41.280 Don Lemon's problem
01:08:42.600 is not that
01:08:43.320 he's too much
01:08:43.960 of a journalist.
01:08:45.160 It's that he's
01:08:45.660 too unfailingly partisan.
01:08:47.720 He never did this
01:08:48.540 with Jeff Zucker,
01:08:49.600 but he has one chance
01:08:50.800 to talk to Elon Musk
01:08:51.980 and he jumps
01:08:52.480 ugly on the guy.
01:08:53.860 I cannot believe
01:08:55.140 he did that.
01:08:55.940 It's the dumbest
01:08:56.700 possible thing
01:08:57.600 that anybody could do.
01:08:59.540 I mean,
01:08:59.980 there's a lot to like
01:09:01.340 about Elon Musk
01:09:02.140 other than the fact
01:09:02.740 that he won't sell
01:09:03.380 an internal combustion engine.
01:09:05.000 There is a lot
01:09:05.580 to like about him.
01:09:06.780 I think that the guy
01:09:07.860 built a great platform
01:09:09.080 and why not ask him
01:09:10.780 about that?
01:09:11.720 Like,
01:09:11.900 why go into
01:09:12.680 your partisan talking point?
01:09:13.980 The man that just
01:09:14.420 resurrected your career.
01:09:16.180 The man who just
01:09:17.180 resurrected your career.
01:09:18.700 Show some gratitude.
01:09:19.940 Ask him about
01:09:20.480 how amazing X is doing
01:09:21.680 and how it's thriving,
01:09:22.900 notwithstanding
01:09:23.340 all the doomsday predictions
01:09:24.820 and whatever happened
01:09:25.900 to loser threads
01:09:26.940 over on Facebook.
01:09:28.760 Elon's having a moment,
01:09:30.060 but not in Don's life
01:09:31.200 in his world,
01:09:32.200 even though he just
01:09:33.540 got this great opportunity.
01:09:35.440 Right.
01:09:35.680 It's not journalism.
01:09:36.800 It's narcissism.
01:09:38.180 Like the guy
01:09:38.660 can't help himself.
01:09:39.720 Yeah, it's sort of crazy.
01:09:41.400 It's crazy.
01:09:42.300 Wait, can I,
01:09:42.660 let me just give you,
01:09:43.200 let me just give you one,
01:09:44.060 one other that we have
01:09:44.680 a bunch to go through
01:09:45.340 because of course
01:09:45.760 we love the story.
01:09:46.660 Here's Don on CNN.
01:09:48.200 He goes back to CNN,
01:09:49.620 the other place
01:09:50.320 that just fired him
01:09:51.240 and gives an interview
01:09:54.380 about this guy firing him
01:09:55.940 with Aaron Burnett
01:09:57.440 and explains why he felt
01:09:59.820 the need to do that
01:10:01.440 to Elon in that question.
01:10:02.560 Watch this.
01:10:04.000 He doesn't understand
01:10:05.280 that that sort of rhetoric
01:10:07.920 that he talks about,
01:10:09.020 the great replacement theory
01:10:10.120 and, um,
01:10:11.300 and a migrant invasion.
01:10:13.200 That's what radicalized shooters
01:10:15.960 use in their manifestos.
01:10:17.540 Those exact words.
01:10:19.160 The people who go
01:10:20.340 and shoot up people,
01:10:21.520 whether they be
01:10:22.220 Latino people
01:10:23.180 who live in Texas
01:10:24.260 or black people
01:10:25.100 who are in a supermarket
01:10:25.900 in Buffalo
01:10:27.020 or Jewish people
01:10:28.660 who are,
01:10:29.220 who are worshiping,
01:10:30.960 those people use
01:10:32.040 the same rhetoric
01:10:32.760 as someone who has
01:10:34.420 one of the largest
01:10:35.700 social media
01:10:36.420 and information platforms.
01:10:37.420 And it doesn't seem
01:10:38.760 that he feels
01:10:39.360 that he has
01:10:39.900 any responsibility
01:10:40.720 with that
01:10:41.320 because he seemed
01:10:42.940 really averse to facts.
01:10:46.160 Oh, my God.
01:10:47.660 He seemed averse to facts.
01:10:49.840 This, this platform
01:10:50.880 paying me all this money
01:10:52.040 sucks.
01:10:54.500 Tune into my show
01:10:55.600 on this platform.
01:10:56.600 It makes no sense.
01:10:57.800 You know,
01:10:58.160 I, I don't get it.
01:10:59.360 I do wonder
01:11:00.040 if maybe this is
01:11:00.840 Don Lemon's long game.
01:11:02.320 You know,
01:11:02.640 like he was a double agent
01:11:03.640 this whole time.
01:11:04.340 He's going in there
01:11:05.040 to get a show on X
01:11:05.980 just so he can,
01:11:07.200 you know,
01:11:07.840 blow it up,
01:11:08.400 burn the place down.
01:11:09.300 He goes back.
01:11:09.720 I really think
01:11:10.180 you're overestimating
01:11:11.020 his intelligence.
01:11:13.060 I feel like
01:11:13.880 that might be right.
01:11:14.880 I feel like that.
01:11:16.460 So, okay.
01:11:17.100 It wasn't enough to say
01:11:18.220 you're basically a racist
01:11:19.660 and you allow racism,
01:11:21.260 you foment racism,
01:11:22.640 which is how he began it.
01:11:24.520 But he also got around to
01:11:26.100 and you're a druggie
01:11:27.600 and probably irresponsible
01:11:29.180 and maybe not somebody
01:11:30.020 stockholders
01:11:30.540 want to invest with.
01:11:32.100 Here's how he set that up
01:11:33.520 and then I'll give you
01:11:34.040 the talk,
01:11:34.600 the soundbite of him
01:11:35.660 explaining that one
01:11:37.280 on his other
01:11:38.400 fired network, CNN.
01:11:39.500 Let's run SOT6.
01:11:42.480 You talk about your ketamine
01:11:43.820 use and depression.
01:11:44.920 You also have said
01:11:46.880 and the reason I should say
01:11:48.200 like the reason I mentioned
01:11:50.240 the ketamine prescription
01:11:52.580 on the X platform
01:11:54.040 was because I thought
01:11:55.020 maybe this is something
01:11:56.300 that can help other people.
01:11:57.680 That's why I mentioned it.
01:11:59.160 Obviously,
01:11:59.480 I'm not a doctor,
01:12:00.020 but I would say
01:12:00.820 if someone has depression issues,
01:12:02.960 they should consider
01:12:03.740 talking to their doctor
01:12:04.980 about ketamine
01:12:05.560 instead of SSRIs.
01:12:08.280 Okay.
01:12:08.880 Now here's Don
01:12:10.380 explaining why he thought
01:12:11.460 it was important
01:12:11.920 to bring that up
01:12:12.700 in his limited time
01:12:13.800 that Elon Musk,
01:12:14.520 who doesn't give a lot
01:12:15.200 of interviews,
01:12:15.940 granted him.
01:12:16.600 He decided to go to
01:12:17.540 ketamine and depression
01:12:18.460 with Elon
01:12:18.900 and this is why.
01:12:20.340 Watch SOT7.
01:12:22.780 It's no secret.
01:12:24.200 His drug use
01:12:25.040 or alleged drug use,
01:12:26.300 I should say,
01:12:27.120 has been extensively
01:12:28.140 written about it
01:12:28.980 by very credible
01:12:30.380 news organizations
01:12:31.420 like the Wall Street Journal
01:12:32.620 and I asked him that
01:12:33.380 and he said,
01:12:33.760 listen,
01:12:34.160 I have not read
01:12:35.120 the Wall Street Journal.
01:12:35.920 I don't read
01:12:36.400 the Wall Street Journal.
01:12:37.340 If I don't have time
01:12:38.300 to read about everything
01:12:39.980 that people write about me,
01:12:41.040 I would never get anything done.
01:12:42.440 Elon Musk is responsible
01:12:43.660 for satellites,
01:12:45.360 for Starlink.
01:12:46.100 He's responsible
01:12:46.760 for Tesla.
01:12:48.500 He's responsible
01:12:49.200 for a number
01:12:49.880 of different companies
01:12:50.780 on the stock market
01:12:53.740 and I think
01:12:57.520 that it is important
01:12:58.380 for people
01:12:58.940 to understand
01:12:59.980 his mindset,
01:13:01.920 whether he's using
01:13:02.980 drugs legally
01:13:03.680 or not,
01:13:04.480 but ones that he's
01:13:05.280 supposed to be,
01:13:05.860 that he is using
01:13:06.880 prescription-wise,
01:13:07.760 that he's following
01:13:08.560 a doctor's orders
01:13:11.040 under that.
01:13:13.080 Is that for real?
01:13:14.360 Is that for real?
01:13:16.200 He's so concerned
01:13:17.200 about the prescription.
01:13:19.360 Right.
01:13:19.940 You foment racism.
01:13:21.420 You're a druggie
01:13:22.540 who's running
01:13:23.320 all these big companies
01:13:24.240 and I want to see
01:13:25.720 your prescription.
01:13:26.620 And he doesn't understand
01:13:27.500 why Elon was like,
01:13:28.320 it's over.
01:13:30.540 I mean,
01:13:31.160 it's just amazing.
01:13:32.240 Okay,
01:13:32.560 and now on to
01:13:33.160 your womanizing.
01:13:34.500 You know what I mean?
01:13:35.760 What?
01:13:36.620 That is just
01:13:37.340 a broadside attack.
01:13:39.380 Right.
01:13:39.940 And also,
01:13:41.000 he tries saying
01:13:41.740 that he's like
01:13:42.340 rooted in facts
01:13:43.680 and he says,
01:13:44.180 oh,
01:13:44.240 he's got several stocks,
01:13:46.000 you know,
01:13:46.220 public stocks
01:13:46.920 that he's in control of
01:13:48.180 and I think
01:13:48.840 his shareholder
01:13:49.400 should be concerned.
01:13:50.480 Maybe you should talk
01:13:51.300 to one of the shareholders.
01:13:52.360 Over 10 years,
01:13:53.180 every dollar you put in Tesla
01:13:54.500 is worth $2,000.
01:13:55.720 I mean,
01:13:56.520 I think they're over the moon
01:13:58.160 about that performance.
01:13:59.580 I think the shareholders
01:14:00.600 are more concerned
01:14:02.200 about the fact
01:14:03.100 that he tried to hire
01:14:03.700 Don Lemon
01:14:04.200 than anything they had
01:14:05.620 in this interview.
01:14:06.640 That's a real last judgment.
01:14:09.040 Of course,
01:14:09.700 then he goes out
01:14:10.500 and now Don Lemon's
01:14:11.460 biggest takeaway
01:14:12.440 from all of this
01:14:13.240 is that Elon Musk
01:14:14.440 is not for free speech,
01:14:16.660 that he's a fake
01:14:18.960 free speech warrior
01:14:20.320 because he's no longer
01:14:22.100 wanting to give Don
01:14:23.400 millions of dollars.
01:14:25.800 Don Lemon
01:14:26.300 can still post on X.
01:14:28.560 He can still post
01:14:29.820 as a podcast
01:14:30.400 wherever he wants to post,
01:14:31.520 but because Elon
01:14:32.520 no longer wants
01:14:33.420 to give him millions,
01:14:35.920 Don is mad.
01:14:37.020 Here's a little bit
01:14:37.640 of that on CNN
01:14:39.020 on Sot9.
01:14:41.220 During the course
01:14:42.040 of that interview,
01:14:42.540 I never raised my voice.
01:14:44.140 I told him,
01:14:45.640 you know,
01:14:46.100 I think this is important
01:14:47.140 for people to hear,
01:14:48.680 especially considering
01:14:49.740 the type of discourse
01:14:52.540 that we're having
01:14:53.240 in the country right now.
01:14:55.020 And he supposedly says
01:14:56.200 this is a public square
01:14:57.240 for all.
01:14:58.820 Maybe we're learning
01:14:59.580 that a public square
01:15:00.240 should not be privately owned
01:15:01.540 by someone
01:15:02.640 who doesn't think
01:15:04.100 that there should be
01:15:04.720 any moderation
01:15:05.320 on that platform.
01:15:06.400 And I could tell
01:15:07.020 that he was upset
01:15:08.640 and he was uncomfortable.
01:15:10.540 It was tense.
01:15:11.280 And I said,
01:15:11.720 listen,
01:15:11.960 I'm not trying
01:15:12.380 to make you uncomfortable.
01:15:13.260 As a matter of fact,
01:15:14.300 I would go
01:15:14.700 and have a beer
01:15:15.500 and hash these things out.
01:15:17.380 You and I
01:15:17.900 do not agree on much,
01:15:19.820 but I will fight
01:15:20.740 for your right
01:15:21.500 to be able
01:15:23.900 to say
01:15:24.300 what you want to say.
01:15:25.680 That's what
01:15:26.100 freedom of speech
01:15:26.900 means to me.
01:15:27.580 Freedom of speech
01:15:28.100 does not mean,
01:15:28.820 I guess,
01:15:29.140 the same thing to him
01:15:30.120 as it does to me.
01:15:32.600 What?
01:15:35.220 He's delusional.
01:15:36.260 Don Lemon,
01:15:36.740 free speech champion.
01:15:37.740 That's a new one.
01:15:38.580 I mean,
01:15:39.060 who's got the drug problem?
01:15:40.400 I don't know.
01:15:41.780 Like that,
01:15:42.560 you can find that
01:15:43.380 in a psych ward.
01:15:44.580 We're joking.
01:15:45.760 We're laughing.
01:15:46.840 It's unbelievable,
01:15:48.000 though.
01:15:48.280 Like,
01:15:48.820 so first of all,
01:15:49.620 he didn't lose
01:15:50.160 any freedom of speech
01:15:50.840 whatsoever.
01:15:51.640 Absolutely none.
01:15:52.860 He will be seen
01:15:53.680 by the same four viewers
01:15:55.720 now
01:15:56.540 as he would have
01:15:57.780 before.
01:15:59.380 Elon said,
01:16:00.520 I'm not giving you millions.
01:16:01.800 By the way,
01:16:02.380 reportedly,
01:16:02.740 he just got like
01:16:03.440 a $25 million payoff
01:16:04.940 from CNN
01:16:05.500 for that firing.
01:16:07.120 They paid him out
01:16:07.960 as a deal
01:16:08.240 rather than
01:16:08.720 have a litigation
01:16:09.340 with him.
01:16:10.060 Then Elon reportedly
01:16:10.900 cut him a multi-million
01:16:11.780 dollar deal,
01:16:12.640 which he fucked up
01:16:13.540 right before he even
01:16:14.140 launched the show.
01:16:15.060 And now he's claiming
01:16:15.700 that it's free speech.
01:16:16.560 You're not the victim.
01:16:17.980 You're not the victim.
01:16:19.660 You're not a victim
01:16:20.420 in any way.
01:16:22.620 And yet he continues
01:16:23.960 to escape consequences.
01:16:26.140 Like CNN says,
01:16:27.180 OK,
01:16:27.280 you're fired
01:16:27.640 because you turn out
01:16:28.180 to be a misogynist
01:16:28.940 in our view.
01:16:29.600 And he runs
01:16:30.120 and plays the victim there.
01:16:31.340 Now this happens.
01:16:32.740 Oh,
01:16:32.920 it's I've been victimized again.
01:16:34.380 He doesn't like
01:16:34.880 diverse people.
01:16:35.660 He said twice
01:16:36.720 he claimed he wanted
01:16:37.800 something more diverse.
01:16:39.180 But I guess somebody like
01:16:39.980 diverse like me
01:16:41.320 isn't what he wanted.
01:16:42.400 We know what that's code for.
01:16:43.960 And he's reveling
01:16:44.900 once again, Ashbrook,
01:16:45.800 in me and my millions.
01:16:48.400 But Megan,
01:16:49.120 he didn't raise his voice.
01:16:51.240 Yeah,
01:16:51.640 that's the important thing
01:16:52.600 to talk us on.
01:16:53.520 Stuck to discourse.
01:16:54.900 And if Elon doesn't like it,
01:16:56.320 then he should give
01:16:57.240 his platform
01:16:57.840 to the public,
01:16:58.980 i.e. Don Lemon.
01:16:59.940 Yeah,
01:17:00.140 he should just give it
01:17:00.720 to Don Lemon.
01:17:01.800 And Tesla,
01:17:02.380 why is that?
01:17:03.140 You caught that,
01:17:03.820 right?
01:17:04.000 Where he was like,
01:17:04.420 maybe this person
01:17:05.380 shouldn't be owning
01:17:06.020 such a platform.
01:17:07.280 Yeah.
01:17:07.700 And the same breath
01:17:08.740 that he's like,
01:17:09.260 I fight for his right
01:17:10.480 to do it.
01:17:11.000 It's like,
01:17:11.280 well,
01:17:11.460 actually,
01:17:11.740 you're kind of fighting
01:17:12.300 for his right
01:17:12.760 to take it away.
01:17:14.620 And I'd love to have
01:17:15.480 a beer with you.
01:17:16.840 I think you're a racist
01:17:18.160 and a druggie
01:17:19.320 and you foment
01:17:20.420 mass shootings
01:17:22.000 and you shouldn't
01:17:23.540 own this platform.
01:17:24.120 Let's go have a beer.
01:17:25.900 Yeah,
01:17:26.260 I love that.
01:17:27.320 You know,
01:17:27.540 the only thing
01:17:28.140 that this was missing,
01:17:29.160 fellas,
01:17:29.480 is that Tubin
01:17:31.700 wasn't conducting
01:17:32.820 the interview.
01:17:33.720 Right.
01:17:34.260 Because if you got
01:17:34.900 the in-house masturbator
01:17:36.160 on it,
01:17:36.460 we would have completed
01:17:37.240 the full circle
01:17:38.380 of Ruthless
01:17:39.040 and like everything
01:17:40.440 that makes us happy.
01:17:42.120 Well,
01:17:42.320 I do have a fun view clip
01:17:43.560 coming up for you later.
01:17:44.560 So maybe we'll,
01:17:45.300 I don't know,
01:17:45.600 we'll see where that goes.
01:17:46.340 There's still plenty
01:17:47.000 more opportunity
01:17:47.620 for our old faves.
01:17:49.560 All right,
01:17:49.840 stand by
01:17:50.360 because the Ruthless guys
01:17:51.280 really want to discuss
01:17:52.140 Kate Middleton.
01:17:53.080 Not even kidding.
01:17:53.880 And we're going to do that next.
01:17:55.280 Don't go away.
01:17:55.920 I'm Megan Kelly,
01:17:57.580 host of The Megan Kelly Show

01:18:55.340 Kate Middleton
01:19:00.640 owns the internet.
01:19:02.660 We haven't been
01:19:03.220 this united
01:19:03.980 as a country
01:19:04.620 since Tiger King.
01:19:06.100 She is the person
01:19:07.160 who has brought us together,
01:19:08.660 ironically a Brit,
01:19:09.800 bringing Americans together,
01:19:11.060 and everyone would like to know
01:19:14.100 what's wrong with her.
01:19:14.820 So Dan Wooten,
01:19:16.660 who has broken
01:19:17.380 pretty much every piece
01:19:18.900 of big,
01:19:20.140 huge royal news
01:19:21.480 over the past 10 years,
01:19:22.940 was on the program yesterday
01:19:24.160 saying Kate is,
01:19:25.420 quote,
01:19:25.700 very unwell,
01:19:27.200 that she is alive
01:19:28.500 because some of the conspiracy theorists
01:19:30.360 on the internet
01:19:30.780 are wondering whether she's
01:19:31.920 even still with us.
01:19:33.020 God,
01:19:33.440 you know,
01:19:33.620 it's a joke,
01:19:34.140 but I mean,
01:19:34.380 it's not a joke by me,
01:19:35.380 whatever,
01:19:35.820 but they think that
01:19:36.620 she's very unwell,
01:19:38.520 but he does say
01:19:39.360 she's expected to get better,
01:19:41.080 but many,
01:19:42.200 many people think
01:19:43.020 that this is either
01:19:45.080 from its get-go
01:19:46.060 or has morphed into
01:19:47.420 or is in some way
01:19:48.300 related to
01:19:49.060 marital strife
01:19:50.580 between Kate Middleton
01:19:52.240 and her husband,
01:19:54.720 Prince William,
01:19:55.540 that he allegedly cheated on her,
01:19:59.300 okay,
01:19:59.620 hold on,
01:20:00.220 with somebody named
01:20:02.100 Sarah Rose Hanbury.
01:20:05.000 Dan Wooten broke that story too
01:20:06.840 back in,
01:20:08.120 I think,
01:20:08.340 2019
01:20:08.840 that he,
01:20:10.160 you know,
01:20:10.500 had an affair partner
01:20:11.300 and she stayed with him,
01:20:13.240 Kate Middleton,
01:20:13.820 and it's not that unusual
01:20:14.940 for these princes
01:20:15.720 or kings,
01:20:16.500 whatever,
01:20:16.840 to have someone on the side
01:20:18.600 and that somehow
01:20:19.820 this is all related
01:20:21.360 to what we're seeing.
01:20:22.720 Now,
01:20:22.860 this leads to things
01:20:23.980 like the following.
01:20:24.760 from TikTok
01:20:26.120 and someone
01:20:26.800 who calls themselves
01:20:27.960 pop apologists.
01:20:30.480 Take a look at this theory.
01:20:32.620 Where is Kate Middleton?
01:20:34.520 Part 16.
01:20:37.340 This will be
01:20:38.500 the most shocking video
01:20:39.900 of the entire series
01:20:41.340 and I pray
01:20:42.420 this is not true.
01:20:44.300 I got a message yesterday
01:20:46.020 about Rose Hanbury
01:20:47.280 that seemed so preposterous,
01:20:49.900 that seemed so out there,
01:20:51.220 I ignored it.
01:20:52.140 Word around London
01:20:53.100 and what a lot of people
01:20:54.300 believe is
01:20:54.740 going on
01:20:55.320 and I'm just going to say
01:20:56.420 it,
01:20:56.580 it's so crazy
01:20:57.720 but apparently
01:20:58.740 the affair
01:20:59.260 with Rose Hanbury,
01:21:00.320 it never stopped
01:21:01.640 and Rose Hanbury
01:21:02.980 right now
01:21:03.660 is pregnant
01:21:04.820 with William's baby
01:21:06.100 and she's keeping it.
01:21:07.880 In the ambulances
01:21:08.660 that were seen
01:21:09.320 leaving Sandringham
01:21:10.300 right after Christmas,
01:21:11.880 we're taking Kate
01:21:12.720 who's having
01:21:13.460 a complete mental breakdown.
01:21:15.880 Kate is allegedly
01:21:16.600 completely done.
01:21:17.640 She's no longer
01:21:18.500 cooperating
01:21:19.040 with Kensington Palace
01:21:19.940 which is why
01:21:20.460 we can only get
01:21:21.300 these fake photos
01:21:22.600 of her.
01:21:24.160 Okay.
01:21:25.440 Also,
01:21:26.240 they found the body
01:21:27.320 at Area 47
01:21:28.580 out in Nevada.
01:21:30.360 People have lost
01:21:32.060 their minds
01:21:32.520 but there is
01:21:35.040 something going on
01:21:35.960 and it does appear
01:21:36.760 that Kate Middleton
01:21:37.420 seems pissed off
01:21:38.660 because the latest
01:21:39.280 paparazzi shot of her,
01:21:40.460 she intentionally
01:21:40.900 looked the other way,
01:21:41.720 she didn't make eye contact
01:21:42.480 with the camera.
01:21:43.180 We don't know exactly
01:21:44.020 what's happening.
01:21:44.520 what do you guys
01:21:45.680 think is going on
01:21:46.740 with Kate Middleton?
01:21:47.800 Well, let me start
01:21:49.000 with that.
01:21:49.300 I was under the impression
01:21:50.280 that we fought a war
01:21:51.220 so I wouldn't have
01:21:52.000 to care about
01:21:52.600 these people.
01:21:54.380 But frankly,
01:21:57.040 Megan,
01:21:57.360 you had me
01:21:57.940 at royal side piece.
01:22:00.340 So now I'm willing
01:22:03.280 to entertain
01:22:03.780 all of this.
01:22:06.020 You know,
01:22:07.000 they were told
01:22:08.520 in January
01:22:09.280 that she was having
01:22:10.040 some abdominal surgery
01:22:11.180 and that she would
01:22:11.760 basically not be
01:22:13.020 in public
01:22:13.860 until Easter.
01:22:15.140 Well, I mean,
01:22:15.680 it's not Easter yet,
01:22:17.180 right?
01:22:17.620 So I guess
01:22:19.320 the photo that came out
01:22:20.780 was like kind of
01:22:21.560 photoshopped
01:22:22.320 or whatever
01:22:22.720 and I don't know
01:22:23.140 if that means
01:22:23.680 that like
01:22:24.020 in the photo.
01:22:25.900 I don't know
01:22:26.320 what that means.
01:22:26.860 I haven't done
01:22:27.240 enough homework on that.
01:22:28.620 But like,
01:22:29.180 I don't know.
01:22:29.780 I just have a hard time
01:22:30.840 getting all worked up
01:22:32.720 about it.
01:22:33.260 I have no idea.
01:22:34.740 Apparently,
01:22:35.220 this is a big deal
01:22:35.800 to a lot of people though.
01:22:37.220 Yeah, so I don't use
01:22:38.440 Chinese spyware apps
01:22:39.860 so I'm not on TikTok
01:22:41.400 but I enjoyed
01:22:42.620 really the
01:22:43.680 like 30 seconds
01:22:44.620 of brain damage
01:22:45.480 that like
01:22:45.960 we just witnessed.
01:22:48.060 Actually, it's entertaining.
01:22:49.140 I think that's the problem here
01:22:50.220 is like
01:22:50.900 yes, it's insanity
01:22:52.040 but sometimes insanity
01:22:53.080 can be fun.
01:22:53.940 So now I'm willing
01:22:54.900 to entertain
01:22:55.320 all the crazy shit.
01:22:56.240 I think
01:22:56.460 I'm not a doctor.
01:22:57.860 Maybe she is dead.
01:22:59.100 Maybe this is a cover-up.
01:23:00.300 Maybe the mistress killed her
01:23:01.500 and dresses up like her
01:23:02.620 in the fake shots
01:23:03.960 that the royal family
01:23:04.800 is setting up.
01:23:05.420 I mean,
01:23:05.600 we know they're not
01:23:06.160 trustworthy people
01:23:06.940 and they all hate each other.
01:23:08.360 And she's dead.
01:23:08.960 They do lie.
01:23:09.480 She's cloistered away
01:23:11.320 with Princess Di somewhere.
01:23:12.900 Yeah, could be.
01:23:13.680 I mean like
01:23:14.020 the thing I really
01:23:16.900 come to the conclusion
01:23:18.020 is if this was
01:23:19.380 some kind of
01:23:20.620 a serious medical condition
01:23:22.240 that, you know,
01:23:23.560 Kate had
01:23:23.900 whether it was cancer
01:23:24.680 or something like that,
01:23:26.420 you know,
01:23:26.760 the royal family
01:23:27.660 would be farming sympathy
01:23:29.480 as much as possible.
01:23:30.520 They've been in a
01:23:31.320 years-long PR war
01:23:32.800 with a like red-headed son
01:23:34.760 and his wife
01:23:35.960 so like
01:23:36.960 they would try
01:23:37.560 to get people
01:23:38.100 on their side
01:23:38.560 by any means necessary
01:23:39.440 but the fact
01:23:40.000 that they're not
01:23:40.600 means they must be
01:23:42.140 doing something sketchy.
01:23:43.760 What do you think, Don?
01:23:44.460 That's what's
01:23:44.920 that's scary.
01:23:46.580 I mean,
01:23:46.880 we have a mental
01:23:47.520 mental health crisis
01:23:49.200 in this country.
01:23:50.800 We really do.
01:23:52.460 I mean,
01:23:52.940 I knew that video
01:23:53.940 was going to be a banger
01:23:54.860 in the first
01:23:55.880 in the first four seconds
01:23:57.420 when she said
01:23:58.000 this is part 16.
01:24:01.400 Buckle up.
01:24:04.760 I feel like
01:24:07.500 I need some
01:24:08.080 scary music.
01:24:09.900 My God.
01:24:11.940 You got to give her
01:24:12.540 points on the production
01:24:13.420 value, right?
01:24:14.240 With the music.
01:24:16.040 It sucks you right in.
01:24:18.520 The photos,
01:24:19.640 I'll tell you,
01:24:20.080 so I
01:24:20.620 I don't feel bad
01:24:22.420 talking about this
01:24:23.340 even a little
01:24:24.520 because literally
01:24:26.020 she might be
01:24:26.800 the most famous woman
01:24:27.760 in the world.
01:24:28.940 I mean,
01:24:29.140 I can't think of somebody
01:24:30.000 who's more famous
01:24:30.820 than Kate Middleton
01:24:31.700 and how did she get
01:24:33.100 so famous?
01:24:33.620 She married Prince William.
01:24:35.500 Was that an accident?
01:24:36.620 Hell no.
01:24:37.640 She
01:24:37.760 they were calling her
01:24:38.720 the weighty Katie
01:24:39.320 and all that
01:24:39.680 which she didn't like
01:24:40.380 which I understand
01:24:40.920 but I mean,
01:24:41.440 she wanted to marry him
01:24:42.380 and I'm sure it wasn't
01:24:43.360 just because of his
01:24:43.920 lovely hair.
01:24:45.160 So they
01:24:46.040 did get married
01:24:47.040 and she became
01:24:47.720 one of the
01:24:48.140 most famous
01:24:48.940 richest
01:24:49.580 whatever
01:24:50.000 all the stuff
01:24:50.560 and this is the
01:24:51.540 downside of it.
01:24:52.480 There's interest in you.
01:24:53.700 There's way
01:24:54.520 more upside
01:24:56.000 than there is downside
01:24:57.140 to having people
01:24:58.260 this
01:24:58.960 interested
01:25:00.020 in you
01:25:00.780 and unfortunately
01:25:02.420 that means
01:25:03.260 if you have
01:25:03.720 a major health crisis
01:25:04.740 people are going
01:25:05.860 to want to know
01:25:06.360 about it
01:25:06.820 and that was true
01:25:07.460 for the queen
01:25:08.040 and it's really true
01:25:09.500 for a 42 year old
01:25:11.260 future queen
01:25:12.200 who shouldn't be
01:25:13.320 having
01:25:13.720 one month stays
01:25:15.440 in the hospital
01:25:16.080 and then three month
01:25:17.440 reclusive periods
01:25:18.640 thereafter
01:25:19.080 to the point
01:25:20.020 where she has to
01:25:20.620 release
01:25:21.020 which she did
01:25:21.940 by the way
01:25:22.360 she got us
01:25:23.160 paying attention
01:25:24.140 to her
01:25:24.600 by releasing
01:25:25.480 the photograph
01:25:25.940 she could have
01:25:26.360 just said
01:25:26.660 I've gone underground
01:25:27.540 I'm still in my recovery
01:25:28.580 I'm not
01:25:28.960 but she released
01:25:30.280 through the palace
01:25:31.280 this photo
01:25:31.840 of her and the family
01:25:32.600 which was a fake
01:25:33.600 I don't know exactly
01:25:34.720 what she did to it
01:25:35.560 or how she did it
01:25:36.600 but you know
01:25:37.340 Dan who I love
01:25:38.080 he's got sources there
01:25:40.040 so he's got to be careful
01:25:40.740 but he was like
01:25:41.820 oh haven't we all
01:25:42.820 photo
01:25:43.200 you know
01:25:43.780 edited a photo
01:25:44.600 here or there
01:25:45.120 the sleeves
01:25:46.560 on the child
01:25:47.220 were different
01:25:47.760 the sweater
01:25:49.020 on the boy
01:25:49.640 was different
01:25:50.240 like there were
01:25:51.520 so many
01:25:51.880 the skirt
01:25:52.380 was different
01:25:52.860 like when we
01:25:54.040 edit a photo
01:25:54.620 you put like
01:25:55.360 a different lighting
01:25:56.260 on it
01:25:57.020 or maybe you like
01:25:58.060 retouch a blemish
01:25:59.580 you don't like
01:26:00.460 change out
01:26:01.120 everybody's outfit
01:26:01.900 and superimpose you
01:26:02.940 from the British Vogue cover
01:26:03.980 or wherever
01:26:04.340 like something massive
01:26:05.820 happened in that thing
01:26:06.640 it was a fake
01:26:07.300 and a fraud
01:26:07.760 to the point
01:26:08.140 where the agencies
01:26:08.780 all pulled it
01:26:09.420 so I make no apologies
01:26:11.620 for being interested
01:26:12.440 in this
01:26:12.800 because when people
01:26:14.480 smell a lie
01:26:15.600 especially involving
01:26:17.020 somebody that rich
01:26:17.680 and powerful
01:26:18.160 they don't let go
01:26:19.520 can we get
01:26:21.580 can we get back
01:26:22.260 to the royal side piece
01:26:23.340 part of this
01:26:23.980 there's more
01:26:25.800 I've never heard
01:26:26.320 about this before
01:26:27.000 is there's more
01:26:27.860 I missed the whole
01:26:29.980 initial report
01:26:30.920 there's a whole theory
01:26:32.680 that this woman
01:26:34.140 did have an affair
01:26:35.340 with Prince William
01:26:36.060 and Kate found out
01:26:37.960 about it
01:26:38.300 but stuck with him
01:26:39.020 because she would
01:26:39.500 never leave Prince William
01:26:40.500 and that this woman
01:26:42.940 used to be
01:26:44.360 she's also a royal
01:26:45.420 so she's somehow
01:26:46.080 somehow a royal
01:26:46.980 but she used to be
01:26:49.140 very beautiful
01:26:50.840 forgive me
01:26:51.760 this is the rumor
01:26:52.380 and that now
01:26:53.860 oh no
01:26:55.020 that now
01:26:56.960 maybe less so
01:26:58.540 after all
01:26:59.740 of the brain damage
01:27:01.000 this is
01:27:01.860 unconfirmed
01:27:03.040 to be clear
01:27:03.760 this is a rumor
01:27:04.840 that given
01:27:06.360 all the strife
01:27:07.420 she's gone through
01:27:08.420 with this royal family
01:27:10.400 I don't like
01:27:11.220 I don't know
01:27:11.980 what's true
01:27:12.520 they all
01:27:13.040 you know
01:27:13.700 for years
01:27:14.220 the royals
01:27:14.640 have been
01:27:14.980 marrying internally
01:27:16.600 and having affairs
01:27:18.040 internally
01:27:18.580 it's like
01:27:18.960 first cousin
01:27:19.460 is not a deal breaker
01:27:20.280 for anybody
01:27:21.500 in the royal family
01:27:22.440 well I mean
01:27:23.160 this is the thing
01:27:23.540 I don't think
01:27:24.060 that the bald prince
01:27:25.160 would cheat
01:27:26.040 on his wife
01:27:27.300 the bald one
01:27:27.960 yeah
01:27:28.300 I mean like
01:27:28.880 his dad probably
01:27:29.920 set a good example
01:27:30.920 of the importance
01:27:32.240 of marriage
01:27:32.800 and his mom too
01:27:33.900 yeah
01:27:34.360 you know
01:27:35.180 all right
01:27:35.880 good point
01:27:36.460 here's my
01:27:38.560 here's my view clip
01:27:39.460 for you for the day
01:27:40.140 they don't think
01:27:41.220 this is appropriate
01:27:41.900 whoopi Goldberg
01:27:42.900 would like us all
01:27:43.520 to just STFU
01:27:44.680 watch
01:27:45.120 you took a picture
01:27:47.240 she said listen
01:27:48.000 I photoshopped it
01:27:48.980 myself
01:27:49.320 whoever took it
01:27:51.220 someone took it
01:27:51.580 of her
01:27:51.820 she
01:27:52.040 see
01:27:52.720 you know
01:27:53.300 the palace
01:27:53.900 didn't they photoshopped
01:27:55.260 the photo
01:27:55.560 the palace also
01:27:56.300 made a mistake
01:27:57.000 and then they released
01:27:57.640 two photoshopped photos
01:27:58.780 we're gonna go to break
01:27:59.640 too angry now
01:28:00.840 yes because it just
01:28:02.100 it's
01:28:02.480 people do this to you
01:28:04.200 you know
01:28:04.540 you haven't had this
01:28:05.360 done to you
01:28:05.980 this stuff
01:28:06.780 no no
01:28:08.100 it's our fault
01:28:09.300 it's our fault
01:28:10.320 because we bought
01:28:11.160 into this
01:28:11.840 when you buy
01:28:12.840 into this stuff
01:28:13.520 when they start
01:28:14.060 doing it to your family
01:28:15.200 or they start
01:28:15.960 doing it to your kids
01:28:17.000 it's not cute
01:28:18.020 it's not fun
01:28:19.340 and it really
01:28:20.060 irritates
01:28:20.660 why then
01:28:21.920 didn't she just
01:28:22.740 put the family together
01:28:24.100 and get a photographer
01:28:25.020 to take the picture
01:28:25.840 because she's not there
01:28:26.600 I'm gonna put this out
01:28:28.360 because you're gonna
01:28:28.980 get hammered for this
01:28:30.160 it's true
01:28:30.620 yes
01:28:31.260 I'm just gonna say it
01:28:32.840 this is all speculation
01:28:34.200 and we're having fun
01:28:35.500 okay
01:28:36.160 just know that we know
01:28:37.980 that we don't know
01:28:39.480 oh my lord
01:28:41.900 well it's nice
01:28:44.660 to see that
01:28:45.240 whoopies engaged
01:28:46.220 in ethics
01:28:46.740 and journalism
01:28:47.340 I think that's like
01:28:50.700 extremely telling
01:28:52.140 of leftists now
01:28:53.480 where they're like
01:28:54.100 how dare you
01:28:55.160 not lick the boots
01:28:55.960 of our royalty
01:28:56.660 you know
01:28:58.440 like
01:28:58.780 how did this happen
01:29:00.220 where they're like
01:29:01.000 okay
01:29:01.600 you're not allowed
01:29:02.280 to criticize royals
01:29:03.680 but I hope
01:29:04.380 journalists hunt down
01:29:05.260 some grandma
01:29:05.860 for a Facebook meme
01:29:06.960 and try to ruin her life
01:29:08.120 like
01:29:08.480 sort through her mail
01:29:09.440 fair game is not
01:29:10.260 the royal family
01:29:11.280 of course they're fair game
01:29:12.640 and she's like
01:29:13.220 well how would you feel
01:29:13.900 if your children
01:29:14.400 hunted down
01:29:14.780 I doubt
01:29:15.680 any journalist cares
01:29:16.720 about some random kid
01:29:17.640 on Photoshop
01:29:18.020 CNN will probably
01:29:18.900 hunt him down
01:29:19.400 if they disagree with it
01:29:20.380 but like
01:29:20.780 that is an insane
01:29:22.000 comparison to be like
01:29:22.880 that is very unfair
01:29:24.600 and mean
01:29:25.040 to be critical
01:29:25.720 of the royal family
01:29:27.240 that's a great
01:29:29.380 I really
01:29:29.920 I really like
01:29:30.720 I really like
01:29:31.440 that
01:29:31.720 that Whoopi said
01:29:33.160 we don't actually
01:29:34.060 know what we're
01:29:34.460 talking about
01:29:34.960 this is all just
01:29:35.580 speculation
01:29:35.940 and I really wish
01:29:37.360 she had that disclaimer
01:29:38.460 on every single
01:29:39.420 one per second
01:29:40.260 nice to say
01:29:42.480 a blanket disclaimer
01:29:44.440 at the beginning
01:29:45.000 of every show
01:29:45.600 like a crawl
01:29:46.300 a crawl going along
01:29:47.480 she was
01:29:48.260 she was one step away
01:29:50.160 from accusing us
01:29:51.080 of doxing Kate Middleton
01:29:52.540 it's like
01:29:52.980 Kate is famous
01:29:55.420 Catherine
01:29:55.940 because she's literally
01:29:57.220 the princess of Wales
01:29:58.560 she's the future queen
01:30:00.380 that's why
01:30:01.600 we're interested in her
01:30:02.560 it was a position
01:30:03.640 she sought
01:30:04.520 and accepted
01:30:05.340 she puts herself
01:30:06.620 out there
01:30:07.240 on the balcony
01:30:08.260 in the pictures
01:30:09.320 along with her husband
01:30:10.240 they of course
01:30:11.200 make the children
01:30:11.960 public figures
01:30:13.040 where they're born
01:30:14.020 public figures
01:30:14.660 and then they remain
01:30:15.500 and get touted
01:30:16.640 and flouted
01:30:17.260 and all the rest of it
01:30:18.200 that's a choice
01:30:19.460 you don't have to do that
01:30:20.960 especially Kate
01:30:21.520 she could have remained
01:30:22.480 a commoner
01:30:22.980 like she was
01:30:23.620 this is like
01:30:24.820 what it comes
01:30:25.640 with the territory
01:30:26.340 I'm sorry
01:30:27.060 I know you want to keep
01:30:28.660 whatever happened
01:30:29.200 to you private
01:30:29.680 you kind of
01:30:30.760 that ship sailed
01:30:31.920 when you joined
01:30:33.160 this wacky family
01:30:34.380 and now people
01:30:35.560 are interested in you
01:30:36.500 for better
01:30:37.080 or for worse
01:30:37.900 net net
01:30:38.540 it's for better
01:30:39.300 so that's that
01:30:40.140 okay let's move on
01:30:41.220 because your other friend
01:30:42.780 Dylan Mulvaney
01:30:43.440 is in the
01:30:44.000 no that's mine
01:30:44.920 is in the news
01:30:46.660 I'm sorry
01:30:47.280 I've got to do it
01:30:48.000 but Dylan
01:30:48.440 is in the news
01:30:49.620 celebrating
01:30:50.180 his second year
01:30:52.220 of being a girl
01:30:53.360 and has decided
01:30:55.260 to go full music video
01:30:56.660 there's a viewer
01:30:57.280 warning attached to this
01:30:58.400 all viewers
01:30:59.700 will find this disturbing
01:31:00.880 including this one
01:31:02.600 boys on the dance floor
01:31:04.400 it's time to clear
01:31:05.700 the patriarchy's over
01:31:07.460 you can hold our fear
01:31:09.240 back at home
01:31:10.760 we replay the breakup
01:31:12.480 stay up all night
01:31:14.180 fall asleep in our makeup
01:31:15.840 mom brought me into the world
01:31:17.720 sister taught me how to girl
01:31:19.480 best friend coached me
01:31:20.480 how to text the boy toy
01:31:21.720 that I'm dating
01:31:22.480 girls who helped
01:31:24.000 show me the way
01:31:25.720 they're why I'm in it
01:31:27.620 girl today
01:31:28.740 these are the days
01:31:31.820 these are the days
01:31:33.460 these are the days
01:31:34.960 of girlhood
01:31:36.400 these are the days
01:31:38.500 these are the days
01:31:40.180 these are the days
01:31:41.600 of girlhood
01:31:42.840 every day
01:31:43.680 every night
01:31:44.480 you raise a shine
01:31:45.380 you're all mine
01:31:46.100 you can fit in
01:31:46.980 I'll be alright
01:31:47.700 got my dolls
01:31:48.780 by my side
01:31:49.660 that's the meanest thing
01:31:52.540 you've ever done
01:31:53.060 it's just terrible
01:31:55.300 it's terrible
01:31:56.140 my only complaint
01:31:57.460 about Twitter
01:31:57.940 is that when you look
01:31:58.660 at libs of TikTok
01:31:59.400 and you click on a link
01:32:00.500 to read it
01:32:01.020 then all of a sudden
01:32:01.700 the algorithm pushes
01:32:02.740 these trans
01:32:03.760 at the top of your thing
01:32:05.280 and you cannot get
01:32:06.200 you can't get away from it
01:32:07.280 and then you come to
01:32:08.100 the Megyn Kelly show
01:32:08.940 for some fun and frivolity
01:32:10.260 and it's right in front
01:32:12.800 of your face
01:32:13.400 you can't get away
01:32:14.180 I feel like one of those
01:32:17.420 Germans who just stared
01:32:18.520 at the Ark of the Covenant
01:32:19.440 I will say
01:32:22.360 it is fitting
01:32:23.340 it is fitting
01:32:24.280 that Dylan Mulvaney's
01:32:26.000 music video
01:32:26.940 is auto-tuned
01:32:27.880 yeah
01:32:28.400 that's true
01:32:30.240 everything is fake
01:32:31.520 this song talks about
01:32:33.860 calling all women
01:32:34.960 of all ages
01:32:35.400 girls like me
01:32:36.780 gotta learn
01:32:38.000 the basics
01:32:38.980 Monday can't get out of bed
01:32:40.960 so Dylan's depressed
01:32:42.080 Tuesday morning
01:32:42.980 pick up meds
01:32:44.500 Dylan's obviously
01:32:45.420 on meds
01:32:46.400 Wednesday retail therapy
01:32:48.040 yes you need a lot
01:32:48.800 of therapy
01:32:49.320 cash or credit
01:32:50.820 I say yes
01:32:51.320 going into debt
01:32:51.920 Thursday had a walk
01:32:53.160 of shame
01:32:53.620 so you're a slut
01:32:54.580 didn't even know
01:32:55.720 his name
01:32:56.160 yep
01:32:56.480 promiscuity
01:32:57.280 slutty
01:32:58.000 so how many things
01:32:59.140 like what is Dylan's
01:33:00.040 view of being a woman
01:33:00.880 you're a
01:33:01.620 you're a medicated
01:33:03.300 depressed slut
01:33:04.820 I mean so that's the
01:33:06.940 thing is
01:33:07.420 so when I saw this
01:33:08.780 really something to
01:33:09.300 point to
01:33:09.760 so when I saw this
01:33:11.040 on Twitter
01:33:12.040 I was fortunate
01:33:12.920 number one
01:33:13.540 that it was a screenshot
01:33:14.540 not the video that
01:33:15.380 you just forced us
01:33:16.700 to watch
01:33:17.220 this person had
01:33:20.260 exactly that
01:33:20.980 laundry list
01:33:21.680 of like
01:33:22.160 essentially
01:33:22.860 this is what
01:33:23.620 they're trying
01:33:24.060 to tell the
01:33:24.720 daughters of America
01:33:25.520 what it means
01:33:26.100 to be a girl
01:33:26.820 source
01:33:27.660 a dude
01:33:28.320 like this is
01:33:29.340 insanity
01:33:29.960 they've got like
01:33:30.820 you know
01:33:31.520 through 900 steps
01:33:32.680 to get back
01:33:33.320 to misogyny
01:33:34.120 right
01:33:34.880 like this guy's
01:33:35.880 had to have
01:33:36.280 surgeries
01:33:36.840 and is drugged
01:33:37.660 up to go back
01:33:38.500 to being a guy
01:33:39.520 who's telling
01:33:40.520 women
01:33:40.840 that you're
01:33:41.680 a sex object
01:33:42.480 who's expected
01:33:43.180 to be terrible
01:33:43.940 with money
01:33:44.520 get drunk
01:33:45.460 and party
01:33:46.100 and be left
01:33:46.780 behind
01:33:47.220 yeah
01:33:47.920 no it's just
01:33:48.800 that's now
01:33:49.400 become like
01:33:50.080 the progressive
01:33:50.780 world view
01:33:51.580 how did that
01:33:52.480 ever happen
01:33:53.140 oh it's a good
01:33:53.980 point
01:33:54.400 I also thought
01:33:55.300 like 20
01:33:55.780 it's good to
01:33:57.620 it's good to laugh
01:33:58.960 right
01:33:59.220 I mean it's good
01:33:59.660 to laugh
01:34:00.060 because it's just
01:34:00.520 it's so dark
01:34:03.140 sure
01:34:04.100 no I have to say
01:34:05.640 so Dylan says
01:34:06.240 this is a
01:34:07.860 she said
01:34:08.860 he is celebrating
01:34:09.920 his femininity
01:34:11.800 here
01:34:12.460 those are all
01:34:13.480 all trans people
01:34:14.760 in that video
01:34:15.480 in case you
01:34:15.860 weren't able
01:34:16.140 to tell
01:34:16.500 everyone there
01:34:17.060 is a man
01:34:17.440 and I
01:34:19.160 when I really
01:34:20.040 looked at it
01:34:20.540 I just thought
01:34:21.560 I find Dylan
01:34:22.420 offensive on a
01:34:23.120 number of levels
01:34:23.760 and that's not
01:34:24.360 to say all trans
01:34:25.060 people are
01:34:25.480 but Dylan
01:34:25.960 in particular
01:34:26.720 is offensive
01:34:27.540 and I'm sick
01:34:28.780 and tired
01:34:29.180 of the girls
01:34:29.900 the days of
01:34:31.020 girlhood
01:34:31.520 something about
01:34:32.780 which he knows
01:34:33.440 nothing
01:34:33.940 as a former
01:34:34.860 girl myself
01:34:35.680 now a woman
01:34:36.500 and a woman
01:34:37.340 who's raising
01:34:38.060 a girl right
01:34:38.860 now at the
01:34:39.320 tender age of
01:34:39.880 12
01:34:40.260 I can tell you
01:34:41.540 it is magical
01:34:42.800 and beautiful
01:34:43.560 and full
01:34:44.240 of exciting
01:34:45.400 openness
01:34:46.760 and creativity
01:34:47.540 and finding
01:34:48.260 all things
01:34:49.140 about yourself
01:34:49.720 and it can
01:34:50.520 also be
01:34:51.000 challenging
01:34:51.500 and surprising
01:34:53.060 and at points
01:34:54.140 dangerous
01:34:54.600 when you come
01:34:55.140 of age
01:34:55.440 and go off
01:34:55.760 to college
01:34:56.040 all that stuff
01:34:56.780 and Dylan
01:34:57.520 will never
01:34:57.900 know anything
01:34:58.780 about it
01:34:59.640 because he's
01:35:00.380 a man
01:35:00.820 he will never
01:35:01.760 know the
01:35:02.280 blessings that
01:35:02.800 come with
01:35:03.140 being a young
01:35:03.640 girl who's
01:35:04.040 coming of age
01:35:04.620 and figuring
01:35:04.940 out your
01:35:05.280 place in the
01:35:05.720 world
01:35:05.940 or actually
01:35:06.540 standing up
01:35:07.100 in a room
01:35:07.440 full of men
01:35:07.960 and being
01:35:08.540 the one
01:35:08.800 who knows
01:35:09.220 more
01:35:09.620 that's a
01:35:10.320 wonderful
01:35:10.620 experience
01:35:11.140 that Dylan
01:35:11.540 will never
01:35:11.900 have male
01:35:12.480 or female
01:35:13.080 and I
01:35:14.400 hate
01:35:14.940 that he
01:35:15.380 keeps trying
01:35:15.880 to drop
01:35:16.340 himself
01:35:16.720 into my
01:35:17.840 gender
01:35:18.240 my sex
01:35:18.960 and try
01:35:19.820 to give us
01:35:20.240 lessons
01:35:20.920 about what
01:35:21.540 it means
01:35:21.900 he knows
01:35:22.360 not the
01:35:23.060 first thing
01:35:23.560 all right
01:35:24.300 guys
01:35:24.560 I stole
01:35:25.260 the last
01:35:25.600 word
01:35:25.760 but it's
01:35:26.100 always a
01:35:26.600 pleasure
01:35:26.960 thank you
01:35:27.740 so much
01:35:28.160 for being
01:35:28.440 with me
01:35:28.840 today
01:35:29.060 and watching
01:35:29.780 that last
01:35:30.380 video
01:35:31.000 yeah
01:35:31.460 thank you
01:35:31.880 for that
01:35:32.200 and that
01:35:32.920 would make
01:35:33.200 a great
01:35:33.500 statement
01:35:33.760 response
01:35:34.400 just keep
01:35:35.400 it in mind
01:35:35.900 oh my god
01:35:37.600 you get the
01:35:39.120 greatest
01:35:39.620 no it
01:35:40.160 wouldn't
01:35:40.520 all right
01:35:41.000 lots of love
01:35:42.200 guys
01:35:42.500 see you soon

01:35:45.960 I am off
01:35:46.540 tomorrow
01:35:46.960 unless this

01:35:49.540 drops we're
