00:00:30.800 President Covfefe, our beloved troll-in-chief, 0.78

00:00:33.800 has reportedly requested a military parade 0.86

00:00:36.220 down Pennsylvania Avenue

00:00:37.600 for either Memorial Day or Independence Day

00:00:39.860 or Veterans Day.

00:00:41.220 The left and anti-Trump Republicans, 0.99

00:00:43.560 historically ignorant, frequently wrong, 0.99

00:00:45.400 but never in doubt, 0.99

00:00:46.520 insist that honoring our military

00:00:48.260 is unprecedented and will destroy the republic.

00:00:51.240 We will analyze the illustrious history

00:00:53.940 of military parades in the United States

00:00:56.200 and how Trump should stage it.

00:00:57.920 Then, Alicia Krause and Ariel Davidson

00:01:00.160 joined to discuss breaking news.

00:01:02.540 Last night, Fox News released a shocking report

00:01:05.220 on texts between FBI agents

00:01:07.540 Peter Strzok and Lisa Page

00:01:09.740 showing that James Comey,

00:01:11.420 former FBI director,

00:01:12.720 ordered the two agents to prepare an update

00:01:14.700 on ongoing investigations

00:01:16.120 because, quote,

00:01:17.340 POTUS wants to know everything we're doing,

00:01:19.600 which shows that Barack Obama

00:01:21.100 was lying through his teeth,

00:01:22.520 surprise, surprise,

00:01:23.160 when he said on national television

00:01:25.140 that he did not interfere

00:01:27.660 with the attorney general or FBI directors

00:01:29.720 about pending investigations.

00:01:31.500 Then, variations on a theme,

00:01:33.620 Trey Gowdy has all but admitted

00:01:35.280 that the source of information

00:01:37.180 passed to Hillary's State Department,

00:01:40.540 to be passed to dossier Arthur Christopher Steele,

00:01:42.780 to be passed to Barack Obama's FBI,

00:01:45.120 was none other than Clinton hatchet man,

00:01:47.400 Sidney Blumenthal,

00:01:48.320 meaning that the entire

00:01:49.780 Russia collusion investigation circus

00:01:52.180 may have likely been a charade

00:01:54.440 funded, orchestrated, and executed

00:01:56.620 by Clinton cronies

00:01:58.100 to undermine Trump's campaign.

00:02:00.880 Shocking, isn't it?

00:02:01.960 And in the most important news,

00:02:03.560 Canada's Prime Minister Kendall,

00:02:05.180 Justin Trudeau,

00:02:06.080 wants to change the word mankind

00:02:07.620 to peoplekind

00:02:08.980 because he's illiterate. 0.90

00:02:10.380 I'm Michael Knowles

00:02:11.220 and this is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:02:18.320 That's a lot.

00:02:20.720 That's a lot to get to.

00:02:21.760 There is so much.

00:02:22.580 And this is very important

00:02:23.460 because everybody is so dead certain

00:02:25.680 they're making these great historical claims

00:02:27.260 and they don't really know anything

00:02:28.560 about what they're talking about.

00:02:29.720 So we'll clear that up a little bit.

00:02:31.240 But first, look, you know,

00:02:32.640 you saw I interviewed yesterday

00:02:34.740 myself from the future,

00:02:36.420 the 200th episode, Michael,

00:02:38.440 and things don't look very good.

00:02:40.200 The trouble here, of course,

00:02:42.320 is we broadcast from the Ben Shapiro

00:02:43.840 broom closet.

00:02:44.720 That's very nice.

00:02:45.840 They keep promising

00:02:46.880 they're going to send me a paycheck

00:02:47.780 at some point.

00:02:48.460 But, you know,

00:02:48.980 we'll see what that happens.

00:02:50.260 The one real nice benefit, though,

00:02:52.820 is sometimes we get wonderful sponsors

00:02:55.220 who will feed me

00:02:56.440 and make sure that I don't become emaciated

00:02:58.500 and they can feed you, too.

00:03:00.720 This is great.

00:03:01.500 We're very happy to welcome

00:03:03.540 a new sponsor today

00:03:04.600 to help keep the lights on

00:03:05.560 maybe a day or two longer.

00:03:06.960 Blue Apron.

00:03:08.240 Blue Apron is the leading

00:03:09.780 meal kit delivery service in the U.S.

00:03:11.720 And while many people know what they do,

00:03:14.700 very often they don't know

00:03:16.440 about the types of meals

00:03:18.060 that you can eat

00:03:18.960 when you cook with Blue Apron.

00:03:21.080 So you think,

00:03:22.100 well, who knows,

00:03:22.920 at some meals that come,

00:03:24.000 it's probably very similar,

00:03:25.100 it's all the same stuff.

00:03:26.260 No way.

00:03:27.040 You get stripped steaks

00:03:28.040 with potatoes,

00:03:29.180 spicy maple collard greens,

00:03:31.560 a steakhouse-inspired favorite

00:03:32.940 with a delicious twist,

00:03:34.420 chili-infused maple syrup.

00:03:36.880 With incredible ingredients

00:03:38.180 and chef-designed recipes,

00:03:40.020 Blue Apron lets you see

00:03:41.640 what the power of food can do.

00:03:44.360 And by the way,

00:03:45.460 they're really easy to prepare.

00:03:46.600 If you're like me,

00:03:47.500 you just ask Sweet Little Elisa

00:03:49.080 to prepare it,

00:03:49.840 and then it comes out

00:03:50.440 very delicious and good,

00:03:52.220 and you can have that power too.

00:03:54.640 Sweet Little Elisa

00:03:55.240 is not included, though,

00:03:56.300 with your Blue Apron subscription.

00:03:58.060 So what do you get?

00:03:58.600 You get convenience and variety.

00:04:00.300 Blue Apron delivers

00:04:04.460 and step-by-step recipes

00:04:06.920 that can be cooked

00:04:07.760 in under 45 minutes.

00:04:09.480 The menu changes

00:04:10.360 every single week

00:04:11.560 based on what's in season

00:04:12.740 and is designed

00:04:13.820 by Blue Apron's

00:04:14.680 in-house culinary team.

00:04:16.020 You are not going to see

00:04:16.860 these recipes repeated.

00:04:18.280 You are signing up

00:04:19.160 for a culinary experience

00:04:21.300 that will keep changing

00:04:22.320 and keep growing.

00:04:23.400 It's got a lot of flexibility.

00:04:24.600 Blue Apron offers

00:04:25.160 12 new recipes each week.

00:04:26.940 Customers can pick

00:04:27.600 two, three, or four recipes

00:04:29.120 based on what fits

00:04:30.220 their schedule.

00:04:31.260 Obviously, you've got to go

00:04:32.100 for the four.

00:04:33.200 That's kind of what I recommend.

00:04:34.740 You get the four.

00:04:35.540 Maybe you have one at a time.

00:04:36.460 Maybe you have two at a time.

00:04:37.180 Maybe you have three.

00:04:37.720 I don't know.

00:04:38.180 It depends what kind of night it is.

00:04:39.420 High-quality food.

00:04:40.820 Blue Apron sends

00:04:41.560 only non-GMO ingredients

00:04:43.280 and meat

00:04:44.360 with no added hormones.

00:04:46.840 If I were left

00:04:47.460 to my own druthers,

00:04:48.360 I'd probably just eat hormones.

00:04:49.680 I'd probably just be

00:04:50.300 in the gutter

00:04:51.120 eating hormones 0.79

00:04:51.960 out of the garbage.

00:04:53.020 Luckily, Blue Apron

00:04:53.900 clears that up.

00:04:54.500 You get some healthier food

00:04:55.540 and not all of that

00:04:56.980 artificial stuff

00:04:57.780 that's probably

00:04:58.240 not very good for you.

00:05:00.140 This is really good stuff.

00:05:01.820 All of my friends

00:05:02.600 are using it.

00:05:03.920 It is so good.

00:05:06.000 Sweet little Elisa

00:05:06.760 has already planned out

00:05:08.300 what the menus

00:05:08.860 are going to look like on it

00:05:10.220 because if I turn on the stove,

00:05:11.640 I think probably

00:05:14.180 all of Ventura Boulevard

00:05:15.240 will explode.

00:05:16.460 The call to action here

00:05:17.740 is that you need to go to

00:05:19.940 blueapron.com

00:05:22.640 slash covfefe.

00:05:24.060 Do not just hear

00:05:25.060 about these wonderful recipes.

00:05:26.760 Do not just hear,

00:05:27.500 oh, that sounds nice.

00:05:28.460 Well, Michael can enjoy good food.

00:05:30.720 Don't do it.

00:05:31.300 You have an opportunity here.

00:05:32.600 If you go to

00:05:32.940 blueapron.com

00:05:40.860 You get $30 off.

00:05:42.180 I'm giving you free food.

00:05:43.340 Don't say I never

00:05:43.880 did anything for you.

00:05:45.140 Blueapron.com

00:05:46.000 slash covfefe.

00:05:47.320 What is it, Marshall?

00:05:48.700 Blueapron.com

00:05:49.560 slash covfefe.

00:05:50.300 Slash covfefe.

00:05:51.060 Blue Apron,

00:05:51.620 a better way to cook.

00:05:55.300 All right.

00:05:55.660 The president

00:05:56.040 is destroying the country.

00:05:57.020 Did you know that?

00:05:57.640 He's destroying the country again. 0.66

00:05:59.200 We're all going to die.

00:06:00.360 And I know you already died

00:06:01.620 from tax reform

00:06:02.520 and deregulation

00:06:03.620 and moving our embassy

00:06:04.800 in Israel

00:06:05.260 to the capital of Israel

00:06:06.400 and appointing an originalist

00:06:07.900 to the Supreme Court

00:06:08.600 and reinstituting

00:06:09.560 the Mexico City policy

00:06:10.620 and pulling out

00:06:11.360 of the Paris Climate Accord. 0.98

00:06:12.680 You zombie. 0.99

00:06:13.640 You undead drone 1.00

00:06:14.800 wandering through the world 0.97

00:06:16.200 suffering death after death

00:06:17.800 but relentlessly existing.

00:06:20.080 The new mainstream media hysteria

00:06:22.140 is that President Trump

00:06:23.240 wants to have

00:06:24.260 a military parade.

00:06:25.660 I wish I had pearls on

00:06:28.600 that I could clutch

00:06:29.180 and grit.

00:06:29.580 It's so horrible.

00:06:31.080 Here is Rear Admiral John Kirby

00:06:32.660 who was the State Department spokesman

00:06:34.040 under Barack Obama

00:06:34.960 explaining why he hates

00:06:36.720 the parade idea.

00:06:38.060 So, Admiral Kirby,

00:06:39.540 what do you think of the idea

00:06:40.780 of a military parade

00:06:41.740 in Washington?

00:06:42.620 I don't like it,

00:06:43.780 Allison,

00:06:44.260 not at all.

00:06:44.980 This is not about

00:06:45.760 showcasing our military.

00:06:47.000 This is about

00:06:47.520 the president showing off.

00:06:48.640 This is all about his ego.

00:06:50.180 And that's just

00:06:50.660 an inappropriate use

00:06:51.800 of military time

00:06:52.700 and talent

00:06:53.140 and resources.

00:06:53.740 The second thing is

00:06:55.820 this is beneath us

00:06:56.660 as a nation.

00:06:57.340 We are the most powerful

00:06:58.360 military on earth.

00:06:59.660 We're very proud of that

00:07:00.460 and rightly so.

00:07:01.520 We don't need to be

00:07:02.120 parading our military hardware

00:07:03.520 down Pennsylvania Avenue

00:07:04.700 to show that to anybody.

00:07:06.980 And thirdly,

00:07:07.580 I think it's just

00:07:08.080 a waste of resources.

00:07:09.100 It will cost millions

00:07:09.880 of dollars.

00:07:10.460 That's money that can be put

00:07:11.480 to other better uses,

00:07:13.100 operations, training,

00:07:14.500 not to mention

00:07:15.040 just even taking care

00:07:16.100 of our people,

00:07:16.800 spouse education programs,

00:07:18.240 that kind of thing.

00:07:19.140 So I think this is just

00:07:20.060 a tremendously bad idea.

00:07:22.320 The trouble with

00:07:23.720 this analysis,

00:07:25.380 Kirby comes out

00:07:26.140 and he says,

00:07:26.500 this isn't what we do

00:07:27.380 in America.

00:07:28.140 It's okay.

00:07:28.740 We like the military,

00:07:29.900 but we don't parade

00:07:31.400 our troops down the streets.

00:07:33.600 We don't need to show

00:07:34.400 other people

00:07:34.920 our tanks or our missiles.

00:07:36.540 It's un-American. 0.82

00:07:37.660 It's what people do

00:07:38.280 in other countries

00:07:39.100 and dictatorships.

00:07:40.420 And the military hates it

00:07:41.800 and the country hates it

00:07:42.640 and we've never seen it before

00:07:43.860 and it's awful.

00:07:44.680 The trouble with that analysis,

00:07:45.920 and I've heard this repeated

00:07:46.740 ad nauseum all morning,

00:07:48.340 is that it isn't true.

00:07:50.300 I understand people say,

00:07:51.600 it reminds me of Soviet Russia.

00:07:53.720 Oh, it reminds me

00:07:54.620 of the North Korea.

00:07:55.700 Okay, yes.

00:07:56.620 Other places have

00:07:57.460 military parades too.

00:07:58.940 The United States

00:07:59.560 has regularly paraded

00:08:00.820 soldiers and tanks

00:08:01.840 and missiles

00:08:02.540 through the streets

00:08:03.740 of the capital

00:08:04.380 and other cities

00:08:05.720 for over 150 years.

00:08:07.940 Just a quick history of these.

00:08:09.980 After the Civil War,

00:08:11.240 President Andrew Johnson

00:08:12.240 held a military parade

00:08:13.300 of 145,000 Union soldiers

00:08:16.320 parading down

00:08:17.140 Pennsylvania Avenue.

00:08:18.300 The procession,

00:08:19.200 known as the Grand Review

00:08:20.340 of the Armies,

00:08:21.320 took place over two days,

00:08:22.620 May 23rd and 24th,

00:08:24.220 three years and six days

00:08:25.900 before the first Memorial Day

00:08:27.660 was celebrated.

00:08:28.800 After World War I,

00:08:30.100 the U.S. held military parades

00:08:31.400 in New York, D.C.,

00:08:32.620 countless other cities

00:08:33.540 to greet doughboys 0.93

00:08:35.100 as they returned

00:08:36.080 from the battlefield.

00:08:37.160 That's what Sweet Little Lisa 0.80

00:08:38.300 calls me, by the way,

00:08:39.060 is a doughboy.

00:08:39.680 I don't think it's

00:08:40.240 for the same reason.

00:08:41.120 General Black Jack Pershing

00:08:42.460 led the parade

00:08:43.180 of thousands of soldiers

00:08:44.220 through the streets

00:08:45.120 of New York

00:08:45.620 on September 10th, 1919,

00:08:47.940 and then he led

00:08:48.960 another parade

00:08:49.660 of thousands of soldiers

00:08:50.740 through the streets of D.C.

00:08:52.440 about a week later.

00:08:54.520 We also had military parades

00:08:55.920 in 1942 and 1946.

00:08:59.500 The 1942 parade in New York

00:09:01.600 lasted for more than 11 hours.

00:09:04.160 It was attended

00:09:04.660 by two million people.

00:09:06.400 That parade even featured

00:09:07.700 a gigantic bust

00:09:09.140 of Franklin Roosevelt,

00:09:10.840 of the president.

00:09:11.760 They pulled a gigantic head

00:09:13.720 of FDR down the street

00:09:16.780 in the 1942 parade.

00:09:18.940 And yet we're told

00:09:19.940 to have a little military parade

00:09:21.460 in America today

00:09:23.180 would be awful.

00:09:24.120 It would be Trump 0.93

00:09:24.520 becoming a dictator.

00:09:25.760 As far as I can tell,

00:09:26.820 the current preparations

00:09:27.840 don't include

00:09:28.620 a gigantic Trump head

00:09:30.100 on a float,

00:09:31.000 but who knows?

00:09:31.500 Things could change.

00:09:32.360 In 1946,

00:09:33.600 a military parade

00:09:34.580 was held in New York

00:09:35.420 to celebrate the Allied victory

00:09:36.900 in World War II.

00:09:38.140 The 1946 parade

00:09:39.480 saw some of the largest

00:09:40.960 self-propelled howitzers

00:09:42.840 in the entire army

00:09:44.120 rolling down the streets

00:09:45.560 of New York.

00:09:46.380 Tanks rolling down

00:09:47.360 the streets of New York.

00:09:48.360 In 1953,

00:09:49.760 at President Eisenhower's

00:09:51.080 first inauguration,

00:09:52.800 another event

00:09:53.440 where we're commemorating

00:09:54.700 a guy,

00:09:55.560 where we're commemorating

00:09:56.320 the inauguration,

00:09:57.280 there were 73 bands,

00:09:58.420 59 floats,

00:09:59.240 and lots of military assets,

00:10:01.000 including an 85-ton atomic cannon

00:10:03.760 that could fire a shell

00:10:05.060 20 miles.

00:10:06.420 Tanks as far as the eye

00:10:08.240 could see

00:10:08.920 rolled through Washington.

00:10:10.680 Guess what happened

00:10:11.280 four years later?

00:10:12.040 And again,

00:10:12.740 this wasn't to celebrate

00:10:13.920 a particular victory

00:10:15.380 in a war.

00:10:15.920 This wasn't to celebrate

00:10:16.900 something else

00:10:18.980 other than

00:10:19.660 this guy's inauguration.

00:10:21.160 At Eisenhower's

00:10:21.780 second inauguration,

00:10:22.940 thousands of troops

00:10:24.000 marched three miles

00:10:25.220 down Washington

00:10:25.880 with countless tanks

00:10:26.940 rolling alongside,

00:10:28.760 plus the 69-foot-long

00:10:31.260 Redstone,

00:10:32.360 which was the first

00:10:33.100 ballistic missile

00:10:33.860 successfully fired

00:10:34.800 by the United States.

00:10:36.260 Missiles,

00:10:37.000 tanks,

00:10:37.800 thousands and thousands

00:10:38.560 of troops

00:10:38.980 all marching down the road.

00:10:40.040 four years later,

00:10:42.320 so we had 53, 57,

00:10:43.800 now in 1961

00:10:44.920 at JFK's inauguration,

00:10:47.180 dozens of missiles

00:10:47.920 were paraded

00:10:48.520 in front of the world,

00:10:49.820 including the Nike Zeus,

00:10:51.340 which was the first missile

00:10:52.420 that could intercept 0.76

00:10:53.280 ballistic missiles.

00:10:54.240 So we're being told now

00:10:55.440 by the left

00:10:55.960 and Trump critics

00:10:56.740 and former Obama

00:10:59.300 administration officials,

00:11:00.700 we don't need to show

00:11:01.820 our military equipment off.

00:11:04.080 We would never do that.

00:11:05.340 It would be such

00:11:06.500 a step backward,

00:11:08.140 so small-minded

00:11:09.120 of the United States

00:11:09.900 if we ever showed off

00:11:10.980 our military equipment.

00:11:12.320 We've been doing it

00:11:12.960 for well over a century.

00:11:14.180 We've been doing it

00:11:14.880 regularly.

00:11:15.520 We did it 53, 57, 61.

00:11:17.180 We did it in four-year

00:11:18.360 intervals for a while.

00:11:19.960 And that's not just missiles.

00:11:21.280 During the JFK parade,

00:11:23.340 even huge Navy boats

00:11:25.060 were towed down

00:11:25.960 Pennsylvania Avenue

00:11:26.800 with Kennedy aboard

00:11:28.060 waving to the throngs

00:11:29.760 on boats that

00:11:30.580 specifically resembled

00:11:32.620 the one that he himself

00:11:33.960 commanded in World War II.

00:11:36.200 In more recent history,

00:11:37.580 in 1991,

00:11:38.900 President George H.W. Bush

00:11:40.260 held a massive military parade

00:11:41.800 in Washington.

00:11:42.820 Here's the coverage then.

00:11:44.500 Good evening.

00:11:45.140 Well, already they are

00:11:46.260 saying tonight

00:11:46.920 it was the biggest

00:11:47.900 military celebration

00:11:49.200 in the nation's capital

00:11:50.360 since World War II,

00:11:52.200 as Washington today

00:11:53.400 honored the U.S. servicemen

00:11:54.740 and women who fought

00:11:55.680 in the Gulf War,

00:11:56.700 both those who returned

00:11:57.760 and those who died.

00:11:59.620 200,000 enthusiastic spectators

00:12:02.280 watched a parade of troops

00:12:03.720 and their weapons,

00:12:04.980 all part of the national

00:12:06.360 victory celebration.

00:12:08.180 Eric Engberg

00:12:08.780 has our report.

00:12:10.420 It was a day for saying 0.76

00:12:11.960 thank you to heroes.

00:12:13.860 The president choked back

00:12:15.160 tears several times

00:12:16.600 as he spoke directly

00:12:17.820 to loved ones

00:12:18.780 of those who died.

00:12:19.840 On the wide boulevards

00:12:24.300 just a few blocks

00:12:25.260 from the White House,

00:12:26.560 8,000 Desert Storm troops

00:12:28.500 were moving out.

00:12:30.060 And once again,

00:12:30.920 it was General Norman Schwarzkopf

00:12:32.560 who set the cadence,

00:12:34.180 leading the way

00:12:35.040 as far as the presidential box

00:12:36.820 where he spent

00:12:37.420 the rest of the parade

00:12:38.560 as cheerleader

00:12:39.600 and spotter

00:12:40.660 for a clearly delighted

00:12:41.960 George Bush.

00:12:42.760 So much military hardware

00:12:47.600 was moving

00:12:48.380 that at times

00:12:49.180 it appeared Washington

00:12:50.160 was under attack.

00:12:51.440 We're here just to say

00:12:52.160 thank you

00:12:52.640 and to celebrate

00:12:53.280 our victory,

00:12:54.080 but to say thank you

00:12:54.680 to all the men and women

00:12:55.360 who serve in the armed forces.

00:12:56.740 I think that this is

00:12:57.820 a wonderful occasion,

00:12:59.480 but we don't want it

00:13:00.280 to happen again

00:13:01.180 because we don't want war.

00:13:04.900 Wonderful.

00:13:05.440 And of course,

00:13:05.960 that's the sentiment.

00:13:06.720 We don't want war.

00:13:07.800 We want to honor

00:13:09.700 the service

00:13:10.900 and the sacrifice

00:13:11.760 of our troops.

00:13:13.000 Tanks rolling

00:13:13.880 through Washington, D.C.

00:13:15.040 We're now being told

00:13:15.780 that the streets

00:13:16.860 would all crack

00:13:17.680 if we drove tanks down them.

00:13:19.620 We've done this

00:13:20.580 plenty of times

00:13:21.280 and it's just fine.

00:13:22.220 It looked like

00:13:22.780 Washington was under attack,

00:13:24.020 but that's what

00:13:24.480 these parades look like.

00:13:25.640 So after that war,

00:13:26.620 after the Persian Gulf War,

00:13:27.960 Iraq Part 1,

00:13:29.420 tributes were held

00:13:30.080 nearly every day

00:13:31.120 to welcome home troops,

00:13:32.600 though the largest celebrations

00:13:33.760 were held in New York

00:13:34.700 and D.C.

00:13:36.200 Yes, there's plenty

00:13:37.240 of precedent for this.

00:13:38.720 Don't get that

00:13:39.280 out of your mind.

00:13:40.200 Nevertheless,

00:13:40.780 many leftist commentators

00:13:42.040 still object.

00:13:43.120 Douglas Brinkley,

00:13:44.040 a presidential historian

00:13:45.280 and insufferable lefty,

00:13:47.220 said on CNN,

00:13:48.140 quote,

00:13:48.840 I don't think there's

00:13:49.560 a lack of love

00:13:50.280 and respect

00:13:50.780 for our armed forces

00:13:51.900 in the United States.

00:13:53.020 Give me a break,

00:13:53.560 but we'll get to that later.

00:13:54.860 What are they going to do?

00:13:56.320 Stand there

00:13:56.820 while Donald Trump

00:13:57.600 waves at them?

00:13:59.100 It smacks of something

00:14:00.320 you see in a totalitarian country

00:14:02.480 unless there's a genuine

00:14:03.980 earnest reason

00:14:04.840 to be doing it.

00:14:05.720 Now,

00:14:07.120 the historian

00:14:07.720 Wilfred McClay

00:14:08.880 observed in 2006

00:14:10.300 that Douglas Brinkley

00:14:11.400 has failed to,

00:14:12.860 quote,

00:14:12.940 put forward

00:14:13.440 a single memorable idea,

00:14:14.960 a single original analysis,

00:14:16.440 or a single lapidary phrase.

00:14:18.740 Likewise,

00:14:19.520 the author Bill Bryson

00:14:20.500 has called Brinkley

00:14:21.300 a minor American academic

00:14:22.820 and sometime critic

00:14:24.040 whose powers of observation

00:14:25.600 and generosity of spirit

00:14:26.900 would fit comfortably

00:14:28.060 into a proton

00:14:28.900 and still leave room

00:14:30.140 for an echo.

00:14:31.040 Absolutely right.

00:14:32.000 The sentiment is totally wrong,

00:14:33.560 and even on

00:14:34.920 the historical points

00:14:36.200 he's making,

00:14:36.740 they're just not true.

00:14:38.200 The White House,

00:14:38.780 for its part,

00:14:39.300 also rejects the notion

00:14:40.600 that a military parade

00:14:41.820 is totalitarian,

00:14:42.840 saying that it would be

00:14:43.460 a celebration

00:14:44.260 of the men and women

00:14:45.500 who give us freedom,

00:14:46.620 who protect our freedom.

00:14:47.940 That's the opposite

00:14:48.920 of a totalitarian government,

00:14:50.320 they say,

00:14:50.660 and that's true.

00:14:52.180 Brinkley says

00:14:52.780 we should only have parades

00:14:53.780 when there's a genuine,

00:14:54.840 earnest reason

00:14:55.380 to be doing it.

00:14:56.360 Sure.

00:14:56.900 Now, by the way,

00:14:57.520 this wasn't always the case

00:14:58.440 in the middle of the century.

00:14:59.340 We had three back-to-back,

00:15:00.980 four years,

00:15:01.340 four years,

00:15:01.620 four years,

00:15:02.140 that were not being done

00:15:04.580 earnestly to celebrate

00:15:05.520 some war victory

00:15:06.200 or something,

00:15:06.860 though clearly

00:15:07.300 there was a strategic purpose.

00:15:09.100 It was to frighten

00:15:09.900 our enemies.

00:15:10.480 It was to frighten

00:15:11.200 the Soviet Union,

00:15:12.360 just as today

00:15:13.080 we have enemies

00:15:13.860 that we could reasonably

00:15:15.260 frighten

00:15:15.660 and show off

00:15:16.080 our bigger buttons.

00:15:17.500 That's exactly why,

00:15:18.780 though,

00:15:18.920 there has been

00:15:19.560 a groundswell in support

00:15:21.000 in recent years

00:15:22.180 for a military parade

00:15:23.400 like the one

00:15:24.280 we're talking about

00:15:25.020 to honor veterans

00:15:26.100 of the wars

00:15:26.640 in Iraq and Afghanistan.

00:15:27.960 Why shouldn't we honor them?

00:15:29.160 The last military parade

00:15:30.320 we held in Washington

00:15:31.080 was to honor the veterans

00:15:32.120 of the last major war

00:15:33.400 we concluded,

00:15:34.360 but the veterans

00:15:34.880 of Iraq and Afghanistan

00:15:35.960 who served their country

00:15:37.320 admirably after the

00:15:38.580 September 11th terrorist attacks,

00:15:40.420 they've never had

00:15:41.060 their own parade.

00:15:41.620 They've never had that moment.

00:15:42.820 That's why even Chuck Schumer

00:15:44.360 has called for this parade.

00:15:46.640 In 2014,

00:15:48.180 Schumer held a press conference,

00:15:49.440 and I know this is shocking

00:15:50.460 because the most dangerous

00:15:51.920 place in the world,

00:15:52.780 as we all know,

00:15:53.520 is not in the Middle East 0.97

00:15:54.560 on the fighting grounds

00:15:55.860 or in the air or on the sea.

00:15:57.080 It's the space between

00:15:57.940 Chuck Schumer

00:15:58.400 and a television camera.

00:15:59.380 I digress.

00:16:00.600 Schumer held a press conference

00:16:01.540 on Broadway at Bowling Green

00:16:02.900 right by statues

00:16:04.060 of George Washington

00:16:05.020 where Washington

00:16:06.280 gave his farewell

00:16:07.060 to the troops,

00:16:08.180 and he said,

00:16:09.780 with the war in Afghanistan

00:16:10.640 winding down,

00:16:11.820 now is the time

00:16:12.840 to keep with long-standing

00:16:14.420 American tradition

00:16:15.640 and kick off a campaign

00:16:17.520 for the first

00:16:18.360 New York City

00:16:18.940 welcome home parade

00:16:19.820 for troops that served

00:16:21.120 in Iraq and Afghanistan.

00:16:22.420 For the first,

00:16:23.140 that implies multiple parades

00:16:24.980 that he's suggesting.

00:16:26.000 He goes on,

00:16:26.640 with the completion

00:16:27.560 of the Afghanistan

00:16:28.280 combat mission

00:16:29.220 expected at the end

00:16:30.000 of this year

00:16:30.460 and with Iraq's official

00:16:31.840 end far behind us,

00:16:33.200 it's time for New York

00:16:34.040 to stake its claim

00:16:34.960 and for the Department

00:16:35.860 of Defense to join

00:16:36.960 in planning this

00:16:38.060 welcome home celebration.

00:16:39.780 Then,

00:16:40.480 joining the chorus of calls

00:16:41.580 for a military parade

00:16:42.740 to honor those veterans

00:16:44.040 came none other

00:16:45.200 than New York's

00:16:46.080 Bolshevik mayor

00:16:47.100 Bill de Blasio.

00:16:48.280 Even Bill de Blasio

00:16:49.460 said,

00:16:49.860 quote,

00:16:50.060 the brave men

00:16:51.160 and women

00:16:51.580 who have selflessly

00:16:52.360 served our nation

00:16:53.340 with courage and skill

00:16:54.660 in Iraq and Afghanistan

00:16:55.660 deserve a recognition

00:16:57.040 for their sacrifice.

00:16:58.380 I stand with Senator Schumer

00:16:59.620 in his call for a parade

00:17:01.300 to honor our veteran heroes

00:17:03.180 and New York City

00:17:04.120 would be proud

00:17:04.600 to host this important event.

00:17:05.940 I'm glad we all agree.

00:17:06.940 I'm glad you agree, Chuck

00:17:07.980 and I'm glad you agree, Bill

00:17:09.000 and I fully expect you

00:17:10.040 to keep your mouth shut 0.78

00:17:10.860 while President Trump

00:17:12.140 plans the new one.

00:17:13.060 So what happened?

00:17:14.360 Why no parade?

00:17:16.120 There's a point here.

00:17:17.260 There's no parade

00:17:18.260 because the war in Afghanistan

00:17:20.000 was still basically

00:17:21.260 in full swing.

00:17:22.380 By that time,

00:17:23.080 75% of U.S. casualties

00:17:25.260 in Afghanistan

00:17:25.980 had occurred

00:17:26.920 under Barack Obama's watch.

00:17:28.440 That was in 2015,

00:17:29.480 2014, 2015.

00:17:30.880 Barack Obama,

00:17:31.800 who insisted on restarting

00:17:33.140 a war that we'd already won

00:17:34.220 because he had to balance out

00:17:35.680 his vocal criticism

00:17:36.660 of the Iraq war,

00:17:37.680 which he recklessly

00:17:38.560 chose to lose

00:17:39.420 because his opposition

00:17:40.600 to Iraq

00:17:41.280 was central to his winning

00:17:42.880 the Democratic nomination

00:17:44.160 over Hillary Clinton. 1.00

00:17:46.020 The Defense Department

00:17:46.740 under Barack Obama

00:17:47.780 felt it would not look good

00:17:49.320 to host a parade

00:17:50.580 for military veterans

00:17:51.760 until the war in Afghanistan

00:17:52.960 was completed.

00:17:54.700 The trouble is

00:17:55.480 that our current operations

00:17:56.620 in Afghanistan

00:17:57.280 have increasingly become

00:17:58.940 a stabilizing mission,

00:18:00.520 what might be called

00:18:01.340 a war of empire.

00:18:02.520 So they're still fighting,

00:18:03.780 but the fear

00:18:04.560 of pulling U.S. troops out

00:18:06.200 is that the country

00:18:07.040 will then fall into disarray again

00:18:08.820 and provide a safe haven

00:18:10.040 for terrorists

00:18:10.640 who have to go right back in.

00:18:11.840 And we know it was already

00:18:12.680 doing that

00:18:13.340 for the years

00:18:14.380 before September 11th,

00:18:16.060 which is the reason

00:18:17.080 we had to intervene

00:18:17.700 in the first place.

00:18:18.700 So if that's the kind of war

00:18:19.640 that we're engaged in,

00:18:20.980 then there can be

00:18:21.680 no clear moment of victory,

00:18:23.460 no mission accomplished banner.

00:18:24.860 It might look like Korea.

00:18:26.580 You know,

00:18:27.000 we've had Korea,

00:18:28.460 we've had troops stationed

00:18:29.360 in Korea

00:18:29.860 to prevent the outbreak

00:18:31.200 of new violence

00:18:31.920 for 61 years.

00:18:33.680 Afghanistan

00:18:34.000 is the longest war

00:18:35.100 we have ever engaged in.

00:18:37.000 16 years and counting.

00:18:38.700 Number one on the list.

00:18:40.240 After that,

00:18:41.020 that's followed

00:18:41.480 by the Moro Rebellion,

00:18:43.640 which is a war

00:18:44.200 that absolutely no one knows about.

00:18:46.180 It was one in which

00:18:47.000 Muslim tribes

00:18:48.220 living in the southern Philippines

00:18:49.500 attacked U.S. troops

00:18:51.160 after the U.S. government

00:18:52.580 told them

00:18:53.440 that they would continue

00:18:55.020 their old protectorate

00:18:55.960 relationship with Spain.

00:18:57.160 We got bogged down

00:18:57.940 into that rebellion

00:18:58.520 for 14 years.

00:18:59.780 That's followed

00:19:00.320 by the Northwest Indian War

00:19:01.600 at 10 years,

00:19:02.540 the Iraq War at 8.8,

00:19:04.320 Revolutionary War at 8.4,

00:19:05.780 Vietnam at 8.1,

00:19:07.260 the Second Seminole War

00:19:08.580 at 6.7,

00:19:09.760 the First Barbary War

00:19:10.960 at 4.1,

00:19:11.800 the Civil War at 4,

00:19:13.280 and World War II

00:19:13.980 at 3.7.

00:19:15.460 It's interesting to note

00:19:16.500 that a full 40%

00:19:17.940 of those wars,

00:19:19.180 possibly more

00:19:19.820 if you count the war

00:19:20.460 against ISIS separately,

00:19:22.080 a full 40%

00:19:23.000 of the longest wars

00:19:23.920 in U.S. history

00:19:24.620 have been defending

00:19:26.040 against Muslim forces,

00:19:27.720 something that isn't

00:19:28.640 talked about very much,

00:19:29.600 and it's a strange quirk

00:19:30.480 of U.S. history.

00:19:31.460 Now, that is by no means

00:19:32.640 a list of the deadliest wars

00:19:33.880 in U.S. history.

00:19:34.960 That list goes

00:19:35.900 Civil War,

00:19:37.000 World War II,

00:19:37.780 World War I,

00:19:38.820 Vietnam,

00:19:39.180 Korea,

00:19:40.300 the Revolution,

00:19:41.300 1812,

00:19:42.560 Mexican-American War,

00:19:43.660 Iraq and Afghanistan

00:19:44.480 combined as one conflict,

00:19:46.440 and the Philippine-American War.

00:19:48.160 So,

00:19:48.760 what do we do

00:19:49.860 about the wars

00:19:50.340 in Iraq and Afghanistan?

00:19:51.620 Part of the reason

00:19:52.300 we haven't had a parade

00:19:53.320 is that they've been

00:19:54.400 so politicized

00:19:55.620 by the left

00:19:56.260 since the beginning,

00:19:57.260 and we might keep

00:19:58.280 troops in Afghanistan

00:19:59.020 for decades.

00:19:59.800 We might not pull

00:20:00.400 all of them out right away.

00:20:02.040 So,

00:20:02.520 can we honor

00:20:03.340 the veterans

00:20:03.900 who signed up

00:20:04.640 to protect our freedom

00:20:05.640 after the worst

00:20:06.720 terrorist attack

00:20:07.600 on American soil

00:20:08.580 on September 11,

00:20:09.760 2001?

00:20:10.600 We have parades

00:20:11.360 and demonstrations

00:20:12.000 for a lot of other things.

00:20:13.260 I'll just refresh

00:20:13.980 your memory

00:20:14.560 of the last year. 0.99

00:20:15.520 Pussy hats, 1.00

00:20:16.240 gay pride, 1.00

00:20:16.980 Super Bowl, 0.53

00:20:17.560 there are a lot of parades.

00:20:18.580 Actually,

00:20:18.840 that Super Bowl parade,

00:20:19.540 I think it's just

00:20:19.860 when they torched Philadelphia,

00:20:21.380 but that's a separate demonstration.

00:20:23.660 Is it really so awful

00:20:24.620 to celebrate

00:20:25.460 and thank our troops?

00:20:27.320 Reports indicate

00:20:28.020 that President Trump

00:20:28.800 is considering hosting

00:20:29.800 the parade

00:20:30.220 on Memorial Day

00:20:31.160 or the 4th of July

00:20:32.220 or Veterans Day.

00:20:33.240 Not on a random Tuesday,

00:20:34.940 not just on his birthday

00:20:36.080 or something like that.

00:20:36.860 All of the reports

00:20:38.200 say he's got those dates

00:20:39.800 picked out for the parade.

00:20:41.120 Of the three,

00:20:41.760 Veterans Day

00:20:42.200 seems like the best time

00:20:43.180 to me.

00:20:43.940 That's a time

00:20:44.380 when we're already

00:20:45.020 honoring the troops.

00:20:46.060 4th of July

00:20:46.580 celebrates the founding

00:20:47.420 of our country.

00:20:48.580 Veterans Day

00:20:49.080 seems like the right way

00:20:50.080 to do it.

00:20:51.100 If it's done right,

00:20:52.240 not only will it not

00:20:53.380 be an unprecedented

00:20:54.260 threat to the republic

00:20:55.820 or whatever they're

00:20:56.620 saying it is,

00:20:57.380 it will be admirable

00:20:58.460 and long overdue.

00:21:00.480 Comfortable Americans

00:21:01.320 have had the privilege

00:21:02.200 of keeping war

00:21:03.000 out of their minds

00:21:03.740 for the most part

00:21:04.520 since 9-11

00:21:05.220 because of the brave

00:21:06.840 men and women

00:21:07.360 who answered

00:21:07.820 the call of duty

00:21:08.500 and defended

00:21:08.960 our freedom overseas.

00:21:09.840 A parade through

00:21:10.840 the streets of

00:21:11.360 Washington, D.C.

00:21:12.160 to honor them,

00:21:13.200 if done right,

00:21:14.260 could go a long way

00:21:15.400 toward focusing

00:21:16.480 Americans' attention

00:21:17.380 on just what our country

00:21:18.700 has been doing

00:21:19.440 in Iraq and Afghanistan

00:21:20.840 and to remind us

00:21:22.160 that our freedom

00:21:22.800 doesn't come free

00:21:23.720 but instead has been

00:21:24.880 purchased at a high cost.

00:21:26.340 That we are so privileged

00:21:27.600 in this country

00:21:28.300 that most of the time

00:21:29.560 we don't even have

00:21:30.540 to notice that cost.

00:21:31.520 And Donald Trump

00:21:32.620 in suggesting

00:21:33.220 this military parade

00:21:34.600 which is in well keeping

00:21:35.740 with U.S. tradition

00:21:36.580 seems to be provoking

00:21:38.900 the left

00:21:39.240 into attacking

00:21:39.900 our military 0.99

00:21:40.740 like lunatics. 0.98

00:21:42.920 It's a really bad 0.99

00:21:43.940 look for them.

00:21:44.900 Donald Trump

00:21:45.200 is very good

00:21:45.900 at putting his adversaries

00:21:47.520 into a corner

00:21:48.140 and making them

00:21:49.100 defend the indefensible.

00:21:50.500 Making their true colors

00:21:51.580 shine through.

00:21:52.460 It looks like

00:21:53.020 what's happening here

00:21:53.740 fine by me.

00:21:54.680 Seems like a lot

00:21:55.240 of good things

00:21:55.820 are being accomplished

00:21:56.640 in it.

00:21:57.300 Okay, we've got to

00:21:57.860 get to our panel.

00:21:58.780 We have a lovely panel

00:21:59.860 today.

00:22:00.640 It's an all ladies panel. 0.92

00:22:02.600 It's much more beautiful

00:22:03.400 than we usually have.

00:22:05.340 We have Jacob.

00:22:06.080 We pluck him off

00:22:06.660 the sidewalks

00:22:07.280 or something.

00:22:07.680 You've got an all ladies 1.00

00:22:08.300 panel today

00:22:08.920 of Ariel Davidson

00:22:10.040 and Alicia Krauss

00:22:10.780 but first

00:22:11.340 before we can get to them

00:22:12.520 I've got to talk

00:22:14.340 about man things.

00:22:15.740 We've got this lady panel. 1.00

00:22:16.800 Actually, I guess

00:22:17.200 they make products

00:22:17.720 for women too

00:22:18.280 but I use this

00:22:18.920 every morning.

00:22:19.840 It is Dollar Shave Club.

00:22:21.540 You hear me talk

00:22:22.080 about it a lot.

00:22:22.940 I use it all the time.

00:22:23.640 It's the best razor

00:22:24.280 I've ever used

00:22:25.060 and I don't skimp on razors.

00:22:26.380 I get nice razors

00:22:27.240 and usually as gifts

00:22:28.720 or something

00:22:29.200 and I never go

00:22:31.160 to the pharmacy.

00:22:31.940 I never try to replace

00:22:32.700 the blades.

00:22:33.440 I don't want to do that.

00:22:34.460 I am a millennial.

00:22:35.800 I do not want to move.

00:22:37.180 I want to move

00:22:37.700 the least amount

00:22:38.340 that I possibly can.

00:22:39.500 I don't want to get ripped off.

00:22:40.740 I want things to be

00:22:41.380 mailed to me

00:22:42.040 and make it easy.

00:22:43.360 Dollar Shave Club

00:22:43.940 does just that.

00:22:45.860 So you hear me

00:22:46.680 talk about my razor.

00:22:47.600 It's the best razor

00:22:48.460 I've ever used.

00:22:49.780 What's really nice too

00:22:50.600 is that Dr. Carver

00:22:51.380 shave butter.

00:22:52.620 I don't use that crazy

00:22:53.560 shaving like the puffy

00:22:54.900 stuff you put on your face.

00:22:55.980 I don't use shave gel

00:22:56.980 because I have

00:22:57.920 some self-respect.

00:22:59.160 I'm not going to put

00:22:59.540 that on my face.

00:23:00.240 But the shave butter

00:23:01.100 is really, really nice.

00:23:02.940 I am never going to

00:23:03.600 give up my membership.

00:23:04.440 In fact, I'm adding

00:23:05.440 even more DSC products

00:23:06.760 to my daily routine.

00:23:08.180 So Dollar Shave Club

00:23:08.840 makes products

00:23:09.320 where your hair,

00:23:09.880 face, skin,

00:23:10.940 shower,

00:23:11.860 everything you need.

00:23:12.860 And it's all their 0.62

00:23:13.600 own original stuff.

00:23:14.720 They use only the finest

00:23:16.000 premium ingredients.

00:23:17.300 They deliver it to you

00:23:18.140 just like they do

00:23:18.780 their razors.

00:23:19.940 No more trips to the store.

00:23:21.440 No more, you know,

00:23:22.120 you're looking for the aisle

00:23:23.180 of are the razors

00:23:24.720 down this aisle

00:23:25.480 and you go down

00:23:26.400 the wrong aisle

00:23:27.140 if you're a man.

00:23:27.880 You start feeling

00:23:28.540 very weird about that

00:23:29.560 and you look,

00:23:30.000 did anyone see me?

00:23:30.800 Is this,

00:23:31.140 I feel icky being here?

00:23:32.260 Don't do that.

00:23:33.080 Don't, come on.

00:23:33.800 Save yourself the hassle.

00:23:35.760 I use Dollar Shave Club

00:23:36.620 for almost everything.

00:23:37.560 They have razors,

00:23:38.280 body cleanser,

00:23:38.960 hair gel.

00:23:40.460 They even have,

00:23:41.280 this is a little difficult

00:23:41.900 to talk about on the show.

00:23:44.280 You know,

00:23:45.000 in Europe,

00:23:45.540 they're very,

00:23:45.960 they're clean.

00:23:46.540 They have this product

00:23:47.400 called a bidet.

00:23:48.380 It's an invention

00:23:49.000 that they use,

00:23:49.620 Americans don't really use. 0.88

00:23:50.540 It gets you,

00:23:51.060 it makes you feel

00:23:51.700 a little fresh

00:23:52.460 at times

00:23:53.620 when you might not

00:23:54.260 be feeling the freshest.

00:23:55.660 Helps you clean

00:23:56.680 places on your body

00:23:58.060 where the sun don't shine.

00:24:46.460 dollarshaveclub.com

00:24:48.280 That's what it is.

00:24:49.100 All right,

00:24:49.420 let's get to this panel.

00:24:50.980 Oh,

00:24:51.360 Marshall, 1.00

00:24:52.020 you monster. 1.00

00:24:52.640 Are you kidding me? 0.99

00:24:53.320 I have to sign off.

00:24:53.940 We didn't even get to

00:24:54.360 talk about the parades. 1.00

00:24:55.680 You are a sick sadist. 1.00

00:24:58.220 That is so awful. 1.00

00:24:59.720 Well,

00:25:00.060 don't blame me,

00:25:00.700 guys.

00:25:00.940 Blame Marshall.

00:25:01.840 We have got to say

00:25:02.940 goodbye to Facebook

00:25:03.500 and YouTube.

00:25:04.300 I think I already

00:25:05.020 said goodbye to YouTube

00:25:05.840 when they started

00:25:06.400 censoring all of my

00:25:07.160 videos a few weeks ago

00:25:08.120 and cutting off

00:25:08.620 our live streams.

00:25:09.460 That's a separate point.

00:25:10.600 At this point,

00:25:11.380 by the way,

00:25:12.240 basically all of my

00:25:13.680 episodes are being

00:25:14.400 censored on YouTube.

00:25:16.820 I did that interview

00:25:17.660 with Father Mike Schmitz

00:25:19.480 the other day

00:25:20.000 about what is marriage

00:25:21.400 and all that,

00:25:22.020 apparently suggesting

00:25:23.740 that the definition

00:25:25.000 of marriage

00:25:25.580 from the dawn of time

00:25:27.160 until about five

00:25:28.900 and a half minutes ago,

00:25:30.220 suggesting that that

00:25:30.920 might not have been

00:25:31.560 totally mistaken,

00:25:32.660 that is enough to get

00:25:33.620 you censored on YouTube. 0.97

00:25:36.000 And they're killing us

00:25:37.040 on this,

00:25:37.360 so I guess I'm probably

00:25:38.220 not seeing you on YouTube.

00:25:39.060 I'm probably seeing you

00:25:40.060 on Facebook.

00:25:40.820 If you're there,

00:25:41.240 go to dailywire.com

00:25:42.240 right now.

00:25:43.560 What will you get?

00:25:44.480 Well, it's $10 a month,

00:25:45.840 $100 for an annual membership.

00:25:47.400 Get the annual membership.

00:25:48.320 You'll see why.

00:25:49.080 You get me,

00:25:49.660 The Andrew Klaben Show,

00:25:50.340 The Ben Shapiro Show.

00:25:51.480 No ads on the website.

00:25:52.460 The conversation coming up

00:25:53.540 with me coming up

00:25:54.360 around Valentine's Day,

00:25:55.520 baby.

00:25:56.660 Alicia's going to be

00:25:57.320 hosting it.

00:25:58.060 I'm going to give you

00:25:58.580 all my love advice.

00:25:59.620 The love doctor

00:26:00.220 will be in the house

00:26:01.280 and I can promise you

00:26:03.800 it will give you

00:26:04.360 either romantic bliss

00:26:06.100 or have you shunned

00:26:07.620 and thrown out a window

00:26:08.440 or something.

00:26:09.160 So you get all that,

00:26:10.020 but who cares?

00:26:10.620 What you really get

00:26:11.140 is this.

00:26:12.580 Once those tanks

00:26:13.460 start rolling,

00:26:14.320 once those tanks

00:26:15.620 are rolling down

00:26:16.280 Pennsylvania Avenue,

00:26:17.740 I hope they can float

00:26:19.120 because there are going

00:26:20.260 to be so many leftist tears

00:26:21.500 pouring out

00:26:22.420 throughout our nation's capital.

00:26:23.880 You need this

00:26:24.920 leftist tears tumbler.

00:26:26.460 We better send a lot

00:26:27.740 of these down

00:26:28.120 to Washington, D.C.

00:26:29.080 or else we could have

00:26:29.840 a national disaster

00:26:30.720 on our hands.

00:26:31.500 The leftist tears tumbler,

00:26:32.580 the only vessel

00:26:34.200 that is FDA,

00:26:35.740 NSA,

00:26:36.780 FBI,

00:26:37.940 IMF approved

00:26:38.880 to store your radioactive 0.94

00:26:40.220 leftist tears. 0.71

00:26:41.200 Always salty and delicious

00:26:42.400 whether they be hot

00:26:43.240 or cold.

00:26:44.000 Go to dailywire.com.

00:26:45.560 Right now,

00:26:45.940 we'll be right back.

00:26:57.820 And you took Ariel

00:26:58.820 away from me.

00:26:59.680 Marshall also took Ariel

00:27:00.700 away from me,

00:27:01.260 but that's fine.

00:27:01.860 That means that I get

00:27:02.860 Alicia all to myself today.

00:27:04.420 I thought I was going to have

00:27:05.280 to wait until the conversation,

00:27:06.240 but I get Alicia all to myself.

00:27:07.800 Alicia, thank you for being here.

00:27:09.120 Of course.

00:27:09.900 So the first thing,

00:27:11.020 I need your thoughts.

00:27:12.020 What do you think

00:27:12.460 about this parade?

00:27:13.300 I gotta say,

00:27:14.200 reading the report,

00:27:15.380 at first I was kind of like,

00:27:16.620 eh,

00:27:17.100 and then I really came

00:27:18.580 to the conclusion

00:27:19.120 that you did.

00:27:20.960 I'm a child of the 80s

00:27:23.300 and I remember

00:27:24.020 marching after

00:27:25.800 Operation Desert Storm,

00:27:27.240 as you mentioned.

00:27:27.980 I also remember me

00:27:28.920 reading the general's biography

00:27:30.220 and I think it's the first time

00:27:31.200 I'd asked my mom

00:27:31.860 what the F word was

00:27:32.680 because there was lots of those.

00:27:33.660 As in most military books

00:27:35.840 by generals.

00:27:37.080 I remember reading

00:27:37.800 Schwarzkopf's biography,

00:27:39.120 but I think that,

00:27:40.200 I think that really,

00:27:41.720 these things exist.

00:27:42.720 I mean,

00:27:42.900 I have friends that were recently

00:27:43.940 at the Rose Bowl.

00:27:44.840 You have flyovers,

00:27:45.900 you have the national anthem,

00:27:47.160 you have the beautiful flag displays

00:27:48.380 on the field.

00:27:49.360 These things already kind of exist,

00:27:50.980 so I have mixed feelings on it.

00:27:53.060 I think that it is okay

00:27:54.560 to show support of the military.

00:27:56.640 I think that it is important to,

00:27:58.660 especially after the horrible way

00:28:00.240 that our Vietnam veterans

00:28:01.340 were treated,

00:28:01.840 coming home from Vietnam 0.96

00:28:03.240 to continue to show

00:28:04.380 past, present military members

00:28:08.020 and servicemen and women

00:28:08.960 our appreciation for them.

00:28:10.720 But I think that,

00:28:12.020 you know,

00:28:12.620 as a Trump sometimes skeptic,

00:28:14.400 I also get how some people

00:28:15.920 jumped to the,

00:28:16.860 oh God.

00:28:17.520 He's Mussolini.

00:28:18.540 He's Mussolini.

00:28:19.480 He's Mussolini.

00:28:20.820 He's Kim Jong-un.

00:28:22.020 It just adds fodder

00:28:23.100 to like the argument 0.98

00:28:24.480 that he is this evil dictator Donald. 0.90

00:28:27.020 And I think that he needs 0.95

00:28:28.280 to be very careful

00:28:29.160 not to play into this.

00:28:29.940 And I have to say,

00:28:30.680 I'm a fan of Sarah Huckabee Sanders,

00:28:32.900 but today I listened

00:28:34.140 to the press conference

00:28:35.060 that she did live

00:28:36.160 and her answers to this

00:28:38.100 were very vague

00:28:39.000 and very unclear.

00:28:40.500 And I think that they just need

00:28:41.880 to come out swinging

00:28:42.840 with their talking points

00:28:44.160 of this is what

00:28:44.800 the president meant,

00:28:45.920 this is who it came from,

00:28:47.060 this is the purpose for it,

00:28:48.200 and we're looking into options.

00:28:49.720 But when they don't answer

00:28:51.080 direct questions,

00:28:51.980 it feeds into

00:28:52.740 the negative narrative.

00:28:53.740 Yeah, that's right.

00:28:54.320 And I think there is

00:28:55.100 a little bit here

00:28:55.960 of Chesterton's

00:28:57.580 The Thought That Stops Thought.

00:29:00.080 I think a lot of people,

00:29:01.480 the society is so postmodern.

00:29:04.180 We've questioned so much

00:29:06.120 of even our own institutions,

00:29:07.780 even the premises

00:29:08.540 of our government,

00:29:09.680 of our society,

00:29:10.600 that now in the fashionable

00:29:12.160 elite circles,

00:29:14.020 military services taboo.

00:29:15.620 Oh, it's so not nice.

00:29:17.220 Those men, they shoot guns. 0.55

00:29:18.820 Sometimes they shoot them 1.00

00:29:19.620 at brown people. 0.99

00:29:20.480 That's, oh, let's forget about that.

00:29:21.700 We don't,

00:29:21.960 we can't acknowledge that.

00:29:23.340 But of course,

00:29:24.380 the military are the guys

00:29:25.380 who defend our freedom.

00:29:27.140 There are a lot of people

00:29:27.740 who don't like our freedom

00:29:29.600 and our government

00:29:30.720 and they want to attack us.

00:29:32.540 And it is important,

00:29:33.960 I think, to remember,

00:29:35.020 especially in an era

00:29:35.820 where something like

00:29:36.460 1% of the country

00:29:37.600 has ever served

00:29:38.820 in the military,

00:29:39.460 1% to 3%,

00:29:40.240 that we remind ourselves

00:29:42.260 that the reason

00:29:43.420 that we can have

00:29:44.180 lovely political debates

00:29:45.260 and make art and movies

00:29:46.480 and write books,

00:29:47.320 and in my case,

00:29:48.020 not write books.

00:29:48.600 Blank books.

00:29:49.280 Yeah, write blank books

00:29:50.320 and have a nice life

00:29:52.200 is because there are

00:29:53.060 rough men out there 0.53

00:29:54.100 who are shooting guns

00:29:54.980 on our behalf

00:29:55.680 and keeping the bad guys away.

00:29:58.200 That's absolutely right.

00:29:59.100 They're going to say

00:29:59.520 it's fascism,

00:30:00.320 but they say everything

00:30:01.200 with Trump is fascism.

00:30:02.200 They say that deregulation

00:30:03.280 is fascism.

00:30:03.940 I don't know how

00:30:04.400 they got to that.

00:30:05.260 Yep.

00:30:05.520 Okay, so again,

00:30:07.020 variations on a theme.

00:30:08.500 There are new FBI texts

00:30:10.100 that are exposing...

00:30:11.440 Ooh, doozies.

00:30:12.040 These are unbelievable

00:30:13.020 because it gets to Barack Obama.

00:30:15.100 In typical Trump fashion,

00:30:16.500 the president tweeted,

00:30:17.900 quote,

00:30:18.560 new FBI texts

00:30:19.900 are bombshells.

00:30:21.300 All caps, of course.

00:30:22.180 The new texts show

00:30:23.440 FBI agent Peter Strzok,

00:30:24.880 I pronounce it

00:30:25.360 because it's like

00:30:26.940 75 consonants

00:30:29.140 and no syllables,

00:30:30.340 telling fellow agent

00:30:31.540 Lisa Page

00:30:32.460 that FBI director

00:30:33.600 James Comey

00:30:34.420 wanted them to prepare

00:30:35.700 an update on investigations

00:30:37.040 because, quote,

00:30:38.360 POTUS wants to know

00:30:39.660 everything we're doing.

00:30:41.660 That's the same POTUS,

00:30:42.940 you'll remember,

00:30:44.200 who said on national television

00:30:45.500 that he would never

00:30:46.620 participate in

00:30:47.420 OR POLITICIZE ANY AGENCY INVESTIGATION.

00:30:50.460 HERE'S BARACK OBAMA.

00:30:52.540 I DO NOT TALK TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL ABOUT PENDING INVESTIGATIONS.

00:30:57.580 I DO NOT TALK TO FBI DIRECTORS ABOUT PENDING INVESTIGATIONS.

00:31:03.280 WE HAVE A STRICT LINE AND ALWAYS HAVE MAINTAINED IT, PREVIOUS PRESIDENTS.

00:31:08.340 JUST TO BUTTON THIS UP.

00:31:09.340 I GUARANTEE IT.

00:31:11.180 I GUARANTEE THAT THERE IS NO POLITICAL INFLUENCE IN ANY INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED

00:31:16.800 BY THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT OR THE FBI, NOT JUST IN THIS CASE, BUT IN ANY CASE.

00:31:21.300 FULL STOP.

00:31:22.300 PERIOD.

00:31:23.300 GUARANTEED. 0.97

00:31:24.300 FULL STOP.

00:31:25.300 NOBODY GETS TREATED DIFFERENTLY WHEN IT COMES TO THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT BECAUSE NOBODY

00:31:31.040 IS ABOVE THE LAW.

00:31:32.040 EVEN IF SHE ENDS UP AS THE DEMOCRATIC NOBODY.

00:31:33.680 HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT, CHRIS?

00:31:35.560 GUARANTEE.

00:31:36.560 I GUARANTEE IT.

00:31:37.560 HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT?

00:31:38.800 HOW MANY TIMES?

00:31:39.800 FULL STOP.

00:31:40.800 FULL STOP.

00:31:41.800 BARACK OBAMA IS SO GOOD AT LOOKING LIKE THE PRESIDENT AND LOOKING LIKE HE'S TELLING

00:31:46.240 THE TRUTH AND HE'S SO GOOD AT PLAY, EXCEPT HE ISN'T. 1.00

00:31:49.240 HE'S THIS CORROSIVE, CORRUPT, AWFUL FIGURE WHO REALLY DID SIGNIFICANT HARM TO THE COUNTRY 1.00

00:31:55.420 AND TO THE GOVERNMENT, LYING TO YOUR FACE AND SAYING, I AM PUTTING ALL MY CREDIBILITY ON 1.00

00:31:59.800 THE LINE.

00:32:00.800 FULL STOP.

00:32:01.800 FULL STOP.

00:32:02.800 ALICIA, IS THIS PROOF POSITIVE THAT BARACK OBAMA MAY HAVE BEEN LYING?

00:32:07.000 NOT MAY HAVE.

00:32:08.000 IT WAS OBVIOUS.

00:32:09.000 AND THERE'S OTHER THINGS THAT HE MISLED AND BLATANTLY LIED ABOUT TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

00:32:12.740 I RAN DEAL ANYONE. 0.98

00:32:15.740 IN THE BIBLE BELT WE WOULD CALL THIS A CROCK OF CRAP. 0.95

00:32:17.740 BECAUSE YOU CAN'T, YOU KNOW, THAT'S THE CLOSEST TO A CURSE HORN AS I CAN GET.

00:32:20.740 THAT'S SOME OF THE CLEANEST LANGUAGE WE EVER HAVE ON THIS SHOW. 0.97

00:32:23.740 AND I THINK THAT THAT IS A CROCK OF CRAP.

00:32:25.740 AND GOOD FOR CHRIS WALLACE THERE.

00:32:26.740 I THINK IF IT HAD BEEN A MORE FRIENDLY INTERVIEW, WE WOULDN'T HAVE THAT SOUND BITE ALL THESE

00:32:30.740 YEARS LATER.

00:32:31.740 AND IN ADDITION TO THIS TEXT MESSAGE BETWEEN THESE FBI LOVERS, BY THE WAY, SAYING, HEY,

00:32:38.740 THE DIRECTOR WANTS US TO KEEP HIM APPRISED OF WHAT'S HAPPENING SO HE CAN TELL THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF,

00:32:43.740 THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES WHAT'S UP, MEANS, ONE, THAT THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION

00:32:47.740 KNEW.

00:32:48.740 IN ADDITION TO THAT, THEY PROBABLY, WERE THEY AWARE OF THE FUSION GPS THING?

00:32:51.740 WERE THEY AWARE OF THIS DOSSIER?

00:32:53.740 WERE THEY AWARE OF HOW THE FISA WARRANT WAS OBTAINED?

00:32:56.740 I THINK ANY REPORTER WORTH THEIR GRAIN OF SALT WHO GETS AN OPPORTUNITY TO TALK TO BARACK

00:33:01.740 AND MICHELLE OBAMA, EVEN THOUGH THEY'VE LEFT THE WHITE HOUSE, SHOULD DEFINITELY BRING 1.00

00:33:03.740 THAT UP.

00:33:04.740 AND LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS. 1.00

00:33:05.740 THESE ARE JUST THE LOOSE TEXT MESSAGES THAT WE HAPPEN TO SEE ABOUT THIS THAT THEY HAPPEN 1.00

00:33:10.740 TO WRITE DOWN VERY STUPIDLY. 0.99

00:33:12.740 I MEAN, YOU SHOULD NEVER SEND A TEXT OR AN E-MAIL THAT YOU'RE NOT COMFORTABLE HAVING ON 0.99

00:33:15.740 THE COVER OF THE NEW YORK TIMES, BUT THEY JUST LET THESE ONES GO.

00:33:20.740 WHAT AREN'T WE SEEING?

00:33:21.740 WHAT WAS GOING ON THAT WE CAN'T SEE?

00:33:23.740 THERE HAS TO BE OTHER COMMUNICATIONS AND THERE HAS TO BE E-MAILS.

00:33:26.740 AND I WANT TO SEE THE BROAD BRUSH OF THE TIMELINE OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING WITH THE WHITE HOUSE,

00:33:30.740 WHAT WAS HAPPENING DURING THE CLINTON AND TRUMP CAMPAIGNS, AND WHAT WAS HAPPENING DURING

00:33:33.740 THE INVESTIGATION AT THIS TIME WITH THESE NOW MEMOS AND E-MAILS AND TEXT MESSAGES AND

00:33:39.740 EVERYTHING THAT WE'RE GOING TO SEE AS THEY'RE OPENED UP TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC.

00:33:42.740 SO WE NOW SEE THAT BARACK OBAMA HIMSELF, ALL THE WAY UP TO THE PRESIDENT, WAS INSERTING

00:33:47.740 HIMSELF INTO WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INDEPENDENT AGENCY INVESTIGATIONS DURING THE 2016 CAMPAIGN,

00:33:52.740 INVESTIGATIONS THAT PERTAINED TO HILLARY CLINTON.

00:33:55.740 WE HAVE A LOT OF EVIDENCE THAT THE INITIAL RUSSIA INVESTIGATION WAS TRIGGERED BY DEMOCRAT

00:34:02.740 MONEY, BY DEMOCRAT OPERATIVES, SOME WITH TIES TO THE CLINTONS.

00:34:07.740 DOES ALL OF THIS TAKEN TOGETHER, ALL OF THIS RANCID STENCH FROM BARACK OBAMA'S POLITICIZED

00:34:13.740 AGENCIES, DOES IT UNDERMINE THE MULLER INVESTIGATION?

00:34:16.740 I THINK UNFORTUNATELY IT DOES.

00:34:18.740 AND I THINK THAT, YOU KNOW, OBVIOUSLY, AND I THINK THAT THE UNITED STATES SHOULD TAKE VERY SERIOUSLY,

00:34:24.740 AND I THINK THAT TRUMP SHOULDN'T TAKE IT SO PERSONALLY THAT THERE IS THIS INVESTIGATION

00:34:28.740 INTO RUSSIA'S MEDDLING.

00:34:29.740 AND THEY'RE TWO SEPARATE THINGS.

00:34:31.740 IT'S DID RUSSIA MEDDLE IN THE INVESTIGATION, I'M SORRY, IN THE ELECTION?

00:34:34.740 PROBABLY.

00:34:35.740 BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY NECESSARILY MEDDLED IN IT FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRUMP WINNING.

00:34:39.740 THEY JUST DID IT BECAUSE THEY SPY ON EVERYBODY AND EVERYBODY.

00:34:41.740 AND THEY'VE BEEN DOING IT FOREVER.

00:34:42.740 AND THEY'VE BEEN DOING IT FOREVER.

00:34:43.740 THE RUSSIANS HAVE BEEN SCREWING US FOR A LONG TIME.

00:34:45.740 AND THAT IS A VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM THAT OUR SECURITIES AND OUR DEPARTMENTS AND ALL OF THE BUREAUCRACY

00:34:50.740 OF GOVERNMENT SHOULD MAKE SURE, YOU KNOW, PEOPLE CANNOT MEDDLE IN OUR ELECTIONS.

00:34:54.740 BUT I THINK THAT IT ALSO DOES UNDERMINE THE SEPARATE INVESTIGATION OF, YOU KNOW, IS TRUMP INVOLVED WITH RUSSIA?

00:35:00.740 AND IS HE REALLY A LIAISON OF VLADIMIR PUTIN AND ALL OF THESE OTHER CRAZY- 0.70

00:35:04.740 MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE.

00:35:05.740 AND HE'S THIS MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE, ET CETERA.

00:35:07.740 I WILL FLATLY SAY, THOUGH, THAT CARTER PAGE, I MEAN, THERE'S SOME SHADY STUFF THERE.

00:35:11.740 WHETHER OR NOT DONALD TRUMP KNEW ABOUT IT, I'M GOING TO ERR ON THE SIDE OF NO, HE DIDN'T.

00:35:14.740 AND MAYBE, UH, ONCE THEY FOUND OUT THAT'S WHY HE LEFT THE CAMPAIGN.

00:35:17.740 OR MAYBE BECAUSE HE'S JUST A SHADY McSHADERSON, THEY HAD HIM KICKED OUT OF THE CAMPAIGN

00:35:21.740 EVEN BEFORE THEY KNEW OF ANY OF HIS INVOLVEMENT AND STUFF WITH THE KREMLIN. 0.95

00:35:24.740 BUT I THINK THAT, UNFORTUNATELY, FOR HILLARY CLINTON, FOR THE DEMOCRATS GOING FORWARD,

00:35:29.740 SPECIFICALLY IN 2018 MIDTERMS AND 2020, WHEN YOU KNOW THAT THIS IS WHAT THEY WANTED TO TAKE

00:35:33.740 AND RUN WITH AGAINST PRESIDENT TRUMP, IT'S GOING TO LOOK AS IF THE MUELLER INVESTIGATION 0.59

00:35:38.740 IS JEOPARDIZED BY ALL OF THIS STUFF THAT'S HAPPENING WITHIN THE FBI AND THE DOJ.

00:35:42.740 ABSOLUTELY, IT'S INEVITABLE.

00:35:43.740 EVEN IF MUELLER REALLY IS THIS MAN OF INTEGRITY, EVEN THE MOST UPSTANDING CITIZEN IN THE ROOM,

00:35:49.740 IT JUST LOOKS AWFUL.

00:35:50.740 WE KNOW IT HAS ASSOCIATION WITH ALL OF THIS DEMOCRAT HACKERY.

00:35:55.740 IT'S REALLY NO GOOD.

00:35:56.740 I SORT OF FEEL FOR THE GUY, BUT THEY HAVE TO WRAP THIS UP.

00:35:59.740 IT'S JUST, AND WHO KNOWS, SOME PEOPLE ARE SAYING DONALD TRUMP HAS TO RELEASE EVERYTHING.

00:36:02.740 HE DOESN'T HAVE TO RELEASE EVERYTHING.

00:36:04.740 HE SHOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RELEASE EVERYTHING.

00:36:06.740 HE SHOULD HOLD ALL OF HIS LEVERAGE AS LONG AS HE CAN, DRIP, DRIP, DRIP,

00:36:11.740 AND LET HILLARY CLINTON AND BARACK OBAMA SWEAT. 1.00

00:36:13.740 AND ON THAT POINT, TREY GOWDY HAS NOW ALL BUT ADMITTED THAT THE SOURCE OF INFORMATION

00:36:18.740 PASSED TO HILLARY'S STATE DEPARTMENT, TO BE PASSED TO DOSSIER AUTHOR CHRISTOPHER STEEL,

00:36:22.740 TO BE PASSED BACK TO BARACK OBAMA'S FBI WAS CLINTON HATCHETMAN SID BLUMENTHAL.

00:36:28.740 THAT MEANS THE ENTIRE RUSSIA COLLUSION INVESTIGATION CIRCUS, IT COULD HAVE BEEN FUNDED,

00:36:33.740 IT COULD HAVE BEEN A CHARADE, FUNDED, ORCHESTRATED, AND EXECUTED BY CLINTON CRONIES

00:36:37.740 TO UNDERMINE TRUMP'S CAMPAIGN.

00:36:40.740 ALICIA, IF GOWDY'S SUGGESTION IS TRUE, DOES THE FBI INVESTIGATION INTO TRUMP,

00:36:45.740 RUSSIA COLLUSION, BLAH BLAH BLAH, DO ANY OF THESE HAVE CREDIBILITY?

00:36:49.740 DO SOME OF THEM HAVE CREDIBILITY, BUT NOT ALL OF THEM?

00:36:52.740 HOW DO WE PARSE THIS?

00:36:53.740 IT'S SO CONFUSING THAT MY HEAD IS IN THIS EVERY DAY, AND SOMETIMES I NEED TO THINK,

00:36:57.740 WAIT, NO, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THIS ONE, WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS ONE.

00:36:59.740 OH, GOSH, ALL THE NAMES, ALL OF THE DETAILS, ALL OF THE WARRANTS, ALL OF THE DRAMA,

00:37:03.740 I MEAN, EVEN ALL OF THE CONGRESSMAN INVOLVED AT THIS POINT.

00:37:06.740 YOU HAVE TREI GOWDY THAT'S COME OUT AND SAID THIS, BUT THEN YOU ALSO HAVE NUNES

00:37:09.740 THAT WROTE THE GOP, YOU KNOW, MEMO ABOUT THIS MEMO GATE OF WHAT WAS SAID

00:37:14.740 AND HOW THE DOSSIER WAS USED TO OBTAIN THE FISA WARRANT, ET CETERA.

00:37:18.740 AND LET'S JUST SAY, WHEN IT COMES TO CONGRESSMAN, I THINK THAT I'M REALLY INCLINED

00:37:22.740 TO BELIEVE A TREI GOWDY OVER A DEVIN NUNEZ. I THINK THAT GOWDY HAS A HISTORY OF A PROSECUTOR.

00:37:27.740 HE IS VERY GOOD WHEN IT COMES TO Q&A. HE'S SHOWN THAT OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

00:37:32.740 I'M SO SAD. HE'S NOT RUNNING FOR REELECTION.

00:37:34.740 AND SO WHEN GOWDY IMPLIES THAT SYDNEY BLUMENTHAL, WHO IS KNOWN, AS YOU MENTIONED,

00:37:38.740 TO BE HILLARY CLINTON'S HATCHET MAN, EVEN AFTER, BY THE WAY, THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION,

00:37:42.740 AND PRESIDENT OBAMA SPECIFICALLY TOLD HER, WHEN SHE WAS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE,

00:37:46.740 THAT THEY DIDN'T WANT HER WORKING WITH GOOD OLD SID.

00:37:48.740 SHE WENT AROUND THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION'S BACK AND KEPT DOING IT. 0.62

00:37:52.740 OF COURSE I BELIEVE THIS TO BE TRUE.

00:37:54.740 MAINLY BECAUSE IT'S COMING FROM TREI GOWDY, BUT ALSO BECAUSE IT TOTALLY FITS INTO THE TIMELINE

00:37:58.740 AND THE NARRATIVE AND THE PERSONALITY TRAITS OF THE CLINTONS.

00:38:01.740 DO YOU THINK PEOPLE WILL GO TO JAIL FOR THIS, OR ARE THEY JUST ALL GOING TO GET OFF CLEAN

00:38:04.740 LIKE THE CLINTONS ALWAYS SEEM TO DO? 0.99

00:38:07.740 I THINK THE LATTER, UNFORTUNATELY.

00:38:09.740 IT SEEMS AS IF ANYBODY WITH THE NAME AND MONEY, WHETHER IT'S IN POLITICS OR HOLLYWOOD,

00:38:13.740 TENDS TO GET AWAY WITH THINGS THAT YOU AND I NEVER COULD OR WOULD.

00:38:15.740 THAT IS TRUE. SAD. SAD.

00:38:17.740 TO QUOTE A GREAT MAN.

00:38:18.740 FINALLY, THE MOST IMPORTANT STORY OF THE DAY.

00:38:20.740 CANADA'S KENDALL PRIME MINISTER JUSTIN TRUDEAU.

00:38:23.740 HE NOW WANTS TO CHANGE THE WORD MANKIND TO PEOPLEKIND TO MAKE IT LESS SEXIST. 0.61

00:38:29.740 HERE IS PRIME MINISTER KENDALL.

00:38:32.740 MATERNAL LOVE IS THE LOVE THAT'S GOING TO CHANGE THE FUTURE OF MANKIND. 0.75

00:38:37.740 SO WE'D LIKE YOU TO LOOK AT THAT.

00:38:39.740 WE LIKE TO SAY PEOPLEKIND, NOT NECESSARILY MANKIND. 0.61

00:38:42.740 SO JUST TO CLARIFY FOR PRIME MINISTER KENDALL AND ANYONE IN THE AUDIENCE WHO HAS NEVER LOOKED AT AN OXFORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY,

00:38:51.740 THE WORD MAN CAN BE GENDER NEUTRAL.

00:38:54.740 IT IS A GENDER NEUTRAL WORD.

00:38:56.740 IN THE BIBLE, IT IS CLEARLY WRITTEN, IN THE BEGINNING, GOD CREATED MAN, BOTH MALE AND FEMALE. 0.73

00:39:03.740 HE CREATED THEM. CREATED MAN, BOTH MALE AND FEMALE. 0.95

00:39:08.740 HOW DARE YOU USE THE BIBLE, MICHAEL? 0.94

00:39:10.740 I KNOW, I KNOW.

00:39:11.740 THAT'S...

00:39:12.740 PATRIOTIC.

00:39:13.740 A BOOK WRITTEN BY A BIG JEWISH MAN IN THE SKY. 0.97

00:39:16.740 OUTRAGEOUS, OUTRAGEOUS. 0.94

00:39:17.740 HOW DARE YOU? 0.94

00:39:19.740 BY THE WAY, BECAUSE I'M SUCH A POLITICAL NERD, IF I EVER, WHICH I NEVER WILL, SORRY MOM, I NEVER WILL, RUN FOR OFFICE,

00:39:26.740 I WOULD WANT AND BE A REPRESENTATIVE ON THE FEDERAL LEVEL, I WOULD WANT TO BE CALLED CONGRESSMAN CRAUSE,

00:39:32.740 BECAUSE TURNS OUT, LIKE FOR THAT VERY REASON THAT YOU MENTIONED, MAN CAN BE MALE OR FEMALE,

00:39:37.740 AND IN ROBERT'S RULES OF ORDER, IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE THE MAN. 0.97

00:39:41.740 THIS CONGRESSWOMAN STUFF IS CRAP EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE IT. 1.00

00:39:44.740 THIS IS THE MOST SENSIBLE THING THAT'S BEEN SAID ON MY SHOW ALL DAY.

00:39:47.740 MAYBE ALL YEAR.

00:39:49.740 THIS IS SO...

00:39:50.740 IT'S SO ELEMENTARY, EXCEPT WE DON'T STUDY ANYTHING.

00:39:53.740 NOBODY STUDIES GRAMMAR OR LANGUAGE OR ANYTHING THAT WAS WRITTEN MORE THAN THREE SECONDS AGO AND NOT TEXTED. 0.96

00:39:59.740 IS POLITICAL CORRECTNESS MAKING US ALL STUPIDER?

00:40:03.740 IS THIS A FAILURE OF EDUCATION AND HOW DO YOU FIX IT?

00:40:05.740 OF COURSE IT'S A FAILURE OF EDUCATION.

00:40:07.740 I MEAN, I JUST MENTIONED ROBERTS' RULES OF ORDER AND AS EDUCATED AND AWESOME AS THE MAJORITY OF YOUR AUDIENCE IS,

00:40:11.740 I GUARANTEE YOU THEY HAVEN'T READ IT.

00:40:13.740 OF COURSE THEY, ONLY BECAUSE ALL OF MY AUDIENCE LIVES IN THE 19TH CENTURY AND PUFTS ON PIPES AND CIGARS.

00:40:19.740 YOU ARE RIGHT.

00:40:20.740 MOST PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT ROBERTS' RULES OF ORDER IS.

00:40:23.740 YEAH.

00:40:24.740 THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THE THREE BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT WORK.

00:40:26.740 HENCE THE REASON EVERYBODY FREAKED OUT AFTER, YOU KNOW, DONALD TRUMP ACTUALLY BECAME PRESIDENT.

00:40:30.740 THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF THOSE BRANCHES OF STATES' RIGHTS, OF THE BASICS, YOU KNOW, PRINCIPLES OF THE CONSTITUTION.

00:40:37.740 OR, YOU KNOW, BASIC GRAMMAR.

00:40:39.740 WHICH, LISTEN, I AM NO GRAMMAR QUEEN. 0.90

00:40:41.740 I AM AWFUL AT IT.

00:40:42.740 BEN OFTEN SUBTWEETS ME AND CORRECTS MY GRAMMAR WITHIN MY 140 OR 280 CHARACTER TWEETS.

00:40:47.740 THAT'S FINE.

00:40:48.740 I GET IT.

00:40:49.740 HASHTAG HOMESCHOOLED.

00:40:50.740 BUT THERE ARE BASIC THINGS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN TAUGHT IN OUR SCHOOLS FOR GENERATIONS.

00:40:54.740 AND NOW IT'S GOING TO CONTINUE TO GET WORSE BECAUSE THEY'RE MORE WORRIED ABOUT SAYING ZE VERSUS HE SO THEY DON'T OFFEND LESS THAN 1% OF THE STUDENT BODY. 0.63

00:41:02.740 IT IS ALSO A CRIME IN SOME WAYS.

00:41:04.740 IT'S AN EPIDEMIC THAT'S GROWING BECAUSE MORE PEOPLE ARE WRITING MORE FREQUENTLY.

00:41:08.740 NOW WE'RE ALL TEXTING CONSTANTLY RATHER THAN WRITING A LETTER OR TWO PER DAY OR DICTATING OR SOMETHING.

00:41:14.740 SO IT'S JUST INFECTING ALL OF THE CULTURE, THIS TERRIBLE GRAMMAR AND WRITING AND ABUSIVE LANGUAGE, WHICH IS POLITICAL CORRECTNESS.

00:41:22.740 IT'S AN ABUSIVE LANGUAGE.

00:41:23.740 MY QUESTION WITH TRUDEAU, I'VE OFTEN SAID THAT IF TRUDEAU DID NOT EXIST, WE WOULD HAVE TO INVENT HIM.

00:41:30.740 IS JUSTIN TRUDEAU, PRIME MINISTER KENDALL, IS HE TROLING US?

00:41:34.740 YOU KNOW WHEN HE COMES OUT IN THE LITTLE SHORT SHORTS WAVING THE GAY FLAG? 0.98

00:41:37.740 IS HE A CYNICAL POLITICIAN OR IS HE REALLY THE DOE-EYED DUM-DUM THAT HE APPEARS? 0.98

00:41:42.740 NO, HE IS DEFINITELY LIKE A MIX? 0.73

00:41:46.740 I DON'T KNOW THAT HE'S...

00:41:47.740 YEAH, THE ANSWER IS YES.

00:41:49.740 THE ANSWER IS YES, BUT I THINK WHAT YOU ASKED, IS HE A CYNICAL POLITICIAN OR IS HE DOE-EYED AS HE APPEARS?

00:41:53.740 I THINK IT'S A MIX OF BOTH. 0.66

00:41:55.740 I THINK THAT THE DOE-EYED-NESS IS POTENTIALLY PART OF HIS CYNICISM.

00:41:59.740 AND HE PROJECTS THAT BECAUSE HE KNOWS THAT IT HELPS HIS SOCIALIST, YOU KNOW, CANADA VOTERS.

00:42:03.740 IT HELPS HIM, NOT THE WHOLE OF THE COUNTRY OF CANADA.

00:42:06.740 BY THE WAY, THERE'S LOTS OF REALLY GREAT CANADIAN CONSERVATIVES.

00:42:08.740 AND I KNOW THAT THEY WATCH RELIGIOUSLY AND ALL THESE PODCASTS OVER HERE AT THE DAILY WIRE.

00:42:12.740 SO, YOU KNOW, I REALLY LIKE Y'ALL'S MAPLE SYRUP.

00:42:14.740 THAT'S TRUE.

00:42:15.740 THE GREATEST LIVING STAND-UP COMEDIAN, NOR MCDONALD, IS VERY CANADIAN.

00:42:19.740 THERE YOU GO.

00:42:20.740 THERE'S LOTS OF AMAZING COMICS, BUT, LIKE, PLEASE KEEP TRUDEAU.

00:42:23.740 DON'T LET THAT SEEP INTO THE UNITED STATES. 1.00

00:42:25.740 AS BEN LIKES TO CALL HIM THE BETTER-LOOKING BERNIE SANDERS, Y'ALL CAN KEEP HIM.

00:42:28.740 I HOPE YOU VOTE HIM OUT, BECAUSE YOU DESERVE BETTER.

00:42:31.740 ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.

00:42:32.740 I ONLY WANT HIM TO EXIST FROM AFAR.

00:42:35.740 MAGAZINE COVERS, WAVING THE FLAGS AND THE LITTLE SHORTS, THAT'S FINE.

00:42:38.740 THAT'S WHEN HE OPENS HIS MOUTH IS THE TROUBLE.

00:42:40.740 EXACTLY.

00:42:41.740 WE WANT TO BE ABLE TO POINT AND LAUGH.

00:42:42.740 WE DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIM.

00:42:44.740 ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.

00:42:45.740 OKAY, WELL, THAT'S IT.

00:42:46.740 I GUESS IF I WANT TO HAVE ANY POLITICAL SUCCESS, I GOTTA START WORKING OUT AND BECOME A BIG HUNK LIKE HIM

00:42:50.740 IF WE'RE GONNA FIGHT THIS.

00:42:51.740 OH, SON.

00:42:52.740 OH, MAN.

00:42:53.740 A LITTLE BEHIND THE SCENES.

00:42:54.740 A LITTLE BEHIND THE SCENES.

00:42:55.740 JUST WAIT FOR IT, PEOPLE.

00:42:56.740 THIS MAN HAS THINNER LEGS THAN I DO, AND I WANT TO STAB OUT HIS EYES FOR IT.

00:43:01.740 THAT IS TRUE. 0.90

00:43:02.740 WE'VE GOT THE CONVERSATION COMING UP NEXT WEEK.

00:43:03.740 AND UNFORTUNATELY, YOU WILL SEE SOON FOR YOURSELF.

00:43:05.740 YOU'RE IN FOR A TREAT.

00:43:06.740 THAT'S ALL I CAN SAY.

00:43:07.740 WE DID THE EARLY SHOOT A COUPLE DAYS AGO, AND IT'S A FEAST FOR THE EYES.

00:43:11.740 WE'RE GOING TO HAVE SOME OF THE AUDIENCE JUST SPOONING OUT THEIR MIND'S EYE, LIKE BLINDING

00:43:15.740 THEMSELVES.

00:43:16.740 OKAY, THAT'S THE SHOW.

00:43:17.740 ALICIA, THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE.

00:43:18.740 VERY ILLUMINATING.

00:43:19.740 THAT'S IT.

00:43:20.740 THAT IS ALL OF IT. 0.99

00:43:21.740 I HOPE THAT YOU CAN NOW SPREAD A LITTLE BIT OF KNOWLEDGE TO THESE HISTORICALLY IGNORANT 0.98

00:43:27.740 LEFTIES WHO TELL YOU IT'S UNPRECEDENTED, AND MAKE SURE YOU COLLECT THOSE LEFTIST TEARS. 0.99

00:43:31.740 MAYBE SEND ME A NICE VINTAGE.

00:43:32.740 YOU KNOW I COLLECT THEM TOO.

00:43:33.740 THAT'S OUR SHOW.

00:43:34.740 I'M MICHAEL KNOWLEDGE.

00:43:35.740 THIS IS THE MICHAEL KNOWLEDGE SHOW.
