The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 1020 - Firebombing BLM Terrorist Lives Matter

00:00:00.000 Anxious about choosing between a fixed or variable rate mortgage?

00:00:04.220 TD can help.

00:00:05.620 A fixed rate mortgage offers stability.

00:00:07.840 Your rate stays the same with a variable rate at TD.

00:00:10.900 If rates drop, you'll save on interest.

00:00:13.800 But if they rise, more of your payment goes towards interest.

00:00:17.760 Ready to hear more?

00:00:19.460 Request a calming call with TD Mortgage Direct and say hello to good advice.

00:00:30.000 A couple of years ago, a couple of mostly peaceful BLM terrorists threw a Molotov cocktail

00:00:35.940 into a cop car in New York.

00:00:37.820 What made the incident even more egregious than the other nationwide BLM violence that year

00:00:43.840 was that Carlinford Mattis and Aruj Rahman were both attorneys.

00:00:50.500 They were supposed to uphold the rule of law, and here they were tearing it down.

00:00:54.940 And last week, the injustice became even more pronounced when these thugs received a sweetheart

00:01:02.040 plea deal.

00:01:03.460 Although Mattis and Rahman had been facing terrorism charges and the possibility of 30 years in

00:01:09.100 prison, thanks to the Biden administration's intervention, they will now likely see only

00:01:15.280 a couple years behind bars.

00:01:17.240 The deal is even more puzzling to those who are interested in seeing justice because Rahman 1.00

00:01:23.800 and Mattis had already pled guilty last year to possessing and making an explosive device,

00:01:30.660 which would have put them in jail for up to 10 years.

00:01:33.320 Now this new deal will allow them to withdraw their previous plea and simply cop to the lesser

00:01:39.540 charges of conspiring to assemble a Molotov cocktail and damaging the cop car.

00:01:45.840 Rahman, at the very least, has been unrepentant.

00:01:49.200 After the fact, he said, the only way they hear us is through violence.

00:01:56.340 And still he gets the deal.

00:01:57.660 The other guy, I suspect he's not repentant either.

00:02:00.540 Still let out on bail.

00:02:03.500 A bail paid, coincidentally, by another attorney who worked for the Obama administration.

00:02:08.560 Meanwhile, meanwhile, that's the guys on the left.

00:02:11.160 The guys on the right.

00:02:12.080 Right-wingers who made a mess of the Capitol rotunda on January 6th.

00:02:17.020 It's January 6th, the worst day ever.

00:02:19.240 They are having the book thrown at them.

00:02:21.000 They are wasting away in solitary confinement.

00:02:24.280 Is this slap on the wrist for BLM terrorism fair? 0.94

00:02:27.580 No.

00:02:28.280 Is it just?

00:02:29.280 No.

00:02:30.000 So why is it happening?

00:02:31.800 Because the liberal establishment wants more of it.

00:02:35.980 It's simple as that.

00:02:36.960 The liberal establishment benefits from BLM violence. 0.96

00:02:41.680 The way that it attracts money to leftist causes.

00:02:44.320 The way that it encourages liberal cultural transformation.

00:02:48.020 The way it impels conservatives to keep our mouths shut or else.

00:02:52.240 Or else we're going to get some mostly peaceful protests outside our house too.

00:02:56.100 They like that.

00:02:57.520 They want more of that.

00:02:59.120 So they let their thugs get away with it.

00:03:01.220 What they don't want more of is conservatives questioning their dubious election schemes.

00:03:07.540 And so they discourage that by destroying the lives of their enemies on the flimsiest of charges.

00:03:14.420 A lot of conservatives don't want to believe that our politics has really become this coarse,

00:03:20.500 this corrupt, this unprincipled, this radical.

00:03:24.280 But it has. 0.94

00:03:25.380 It has.

00:03:25.840 Two years ago, the current vice president of the United States raised money to bail these criminals out of jail

00:03:33.780 and get them back on the streets.

00:03:36.220 This is how the liberal ruling class operates. 0.66

00:03:40.080 They play for keeps.

00:03:41.760 And if you're surprised by this miscarriage of justice, you just haven't been paying attention.

00:03:47.020 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:03:47.700 This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:03:48.580 Welcome back to the show.

00:03:57.720 My favorite comment Friday is from The Fable Sphere, who says,

00:04:01.680 I think we have reached a point whereby we can admit that Michael does, in fact, like to say, I told you so.

00:04:09.680 You know, I accept the burden.

00:04:11.620 It's a burden.

00:04:12.300 It's a heavy burden to be able to see the future, to be able to know that when Dr. Fauci tells you something,

00:04:21.180 to know that in six to nine months it won't be proven true, to know that when leftist criminals get arrested,

00:04:27.200 to know that they won't face any sort of justice, to know that when a conservative is caught jaywalking,

00:04:32.820 the guy is going to hang at dawn.

00:04:35.320 They're going to throw the book at him so severely.

00:04:37.440 It's a burden to do that, but I can't help it.

00:04:40.940 That's what we do here on this show.

00:04:43.740 And in a way, it invigorates me.

00:04:46.040 To be able to see what's going on a little bit, to tell you what the truth of the political situation is,

00:04:50.760 it invigorates me a little bit.

00:04:52.120 It gets my blood flowing right.

00:04:53.880 It gets me feeling good, just like Super Beats Heart Shoes.

00:04:57.460 Right now, go to superbeats.com slash Knowles.

00:05:00.600 This is the new way to start your day.

00:05:03.280 Super Beats Heart Shoes.

00:05:05.060 I love them.

00:05:05.840 Do you know why I love them primarily?

00:05:07.740 Because they're delicious.

00:05:09.020 They're very, very tasty.

00:05:10.600 And when Super Beats Heart Shoes show up at the Daily Wire,

00:05:13.020 all these jackals, these hyenas around here, take them all before I can get mine. 0.84

00:05:16.980 You don't need to worry.

00:05:17.880 The second thing, after how delicious they are, is also how good they'll make you feel.

00:05:22.040 No more afternoon coffees.

00:05:23.460 No more energy drinks.

00:05:24.660 No more candy for that quick pick-me-up.

00:05:26.700 You just add two delicious plant-based Super Beats Heart Shoes to your morning routine

00:05:30.480 and promote heart-healthy energy for your day without the caffeine crash.

00:05:35.200 Super Beats Heart Shoes' unique, clinically researched grapeseed extract promotes heart-healthy energy and normal blood pressure as part of a healthy lifestyle.

00:05:44.220 I love them.

00:05:46.360 It tastes good.

00:05:47.580 It feels good.

00:05:48.360 It's simpler than having to go up to the coffee machine three times a day.

00:06:10.020 These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

00:06:13.960 These guys play for keeps, and we don't get it.

00:06:17.640 We as conservatives still believe that we're operating in a political context that maybe existed 30 years ago, 40 years ago.

00:06:27.840 We think there's no way that they're going to, they want to abolish the police.

00:06:33.360 There's no way that they're going to, they're throwing Molotov cocktails at the buildings and not getting in trouble for it.

00:06:38.480 There's no way that they're, they're transing the kids. 1.00

00:06:41.100 There's no way that they're, they're promoting fourth trimester abortion.

00:06:44.620 What, no, there's no, but it just keeps happening.

00:06:47.600 We say, but that's unprincipled.

00:06:49.000 It's immoral.

00:06:49.920 It's contradictory to our Christian civilization, to the constitution. 1.00

00:06:53.620 And they'll say, yep, uh-huh.

00:06:56.520 Yeah, right.

00:06:57.280 Like, we've been telling you for decades, we don't like the constitution.

00:07:01.140 We don't like Christian civilization. 1.00

00:07:03.600 We don't like the traditional American nation. 0.99

00:07:06.020 We hate it.

00:07:06.740 We don't like you guys, is what they've been telling us for decades.

00:07:09.780 And we just don't believe it.

00:07:11.680 We hope against hope that that's not really true.

00:07:15.380 But it is.

00:07:16.180 There's a Democratic rep, Representative Mondaire Jones, who just came out.

00:07:20.900 He's very upset because the Democrats can't ram through gun control.

00:07:25.100 And they can't ram through gun control because most people don't really want gun control.

00:07:30.880 They might tell a pollster that, well, we need to do something about guns.

00:07:34.300 But when it comes down to actually taking away people's gun rights, the people don't really

00:07:38.620 want it.

00:07:39.300 This is why the elected representatives of the people can't get it through.

00:07:43.420 This is why Democrats are going to have a very hard time running on this in the midterms.

00:07:46.920 And so, Mondaire Jones, he says, look, if the rules of our government, of our representative

00:07:52.000 democracy won't allow us to get rid of guns, well, screw them. 0.99

00:07:57.520 We'll get rid of the rules.

00:07:59.420 We did not choose this fight.

00:08:01.660 We had our own dreams for our lives, the same as you did when you were kids.

00:08:05.760 But we can't let you get away with this anymore.

00:08:09.500 Enough is enough.

00:08:10.740 Enough of you telling us that school shootings are a fact of life when every other country

00:08:15.700 like ours has virtually ended it.

00:08:18.480 Enough of you blaming mental illness and then defunding mental health care in this country.

00:08:23.280 Enough of your thoughts and prayers.

00:08:25.360 Enough.

00:08:26.820 Enough.

00:08:28.680 You will not stop us from advancing the Protecting Our Kids Act today.

00:08:33.200 You will not stop us from passing it in the House next week.

00:08:36.520 And you will not stop us there.

00:08:37.900 If the filibuster obstructs us, we will abolish it.

00:08:43.440 If the Supreme Court objects, we will expand it.

00:08:47.060 And we will not rest until we have taken weapons of war out of circulation in our communities.

00:08:52.640 Each and every day, we will do whatever it takes to end gun violence, whatever it takes.

00:08:58.360 We will do whatever it takes.

00:09:02.160 That's what the left has been telling us for a long time.

00:09:05.220 And we just don't believe that.

00:09:06.820 No, you wouldn't abolish the filibuster.

00:09:11.260 You know, now, the Democrats have abolished the filibuster for quite a lot of the operation of the Senate.

00:09:16.040 They haven't totally obliterated it yet, though they theoretically could.

00:09:19.680 You wouldn't really expand the Supreme Court.

00:09:22.660 You wouldn't upend the balance of power in this country, upend our system of government.

00:09:26.900 Yes, we will, is what they're saying.

00:09:28.780 But the Second Amendment, the Constitution, we don't like the Constitution.

00:09:33.720 But the American tradition, we don't like the American tradition.

00:09:37.320 But our balanced system of checks and balances and separation of power, we don't like separation of power.

00:09:42.660 We don't like checks and balances.

00:09:44.240 They've been telling us this.

00:09:45.700 And they're willing to get rid of all of it.

00:09:48.320 And we need to accept that that is what they're after.

00:09:51.380 You don't believe Mondaire Jones?

00:09:54.300 Well, Representative David Cicilline, another Democrat, they were just debating some more new gun legislation.

00:10:00.200 And they brought up the fact that there are constitutional rights here that protect people's ability to keep and bear arms.

00:10:07.520 And David Cicilline said, oh, your constitutional rights?

00:10:10.120 I'll tell you exactly where you can put your constitutional rights. 0.97

00:10:13.600 Spare me the bullshit about constitutional rights. 0.96

00:10:17.040 Will the gentleman yield? 0.99

00:10:17.660 No, I will not yield.

00:10:19.100 And I'm not gonna yield for my entire five minutes, so don't ask again.

00:10:22.000 That could be the Democrats' campaign slogan.

00:10:24.020 Spare me the BS about constitutional rights.

00:10:27.500 Absolutely it could.

00:10:28.480 100% that could be the Democrats' campaign slogan.

00:10:33.000 Now, what Democrats could say is they'll say, well, listen, you Republicans, we're defending the constitutional rights to abortion.

00:10:40.580 And you oppose that constitutional right.

00:10:42.700 The Democrats have made up a lot of constitutional rights in the last 50 years that are probably actually gonna be overruled in the next week or so, possibly the next day.

00:10:51.420 But when you listen to the arguments that both sides are making about the country, that's where you can tell that this isn't just a game of, you hate the Constitution.

00:11:03.700 No, you hate the Constitution.

00:11:04.840 No, you hate the Constitution.

00:11:05.880 Because it's true, Republicans do not, some Republicans do, I guess.

00:11:11.940 Conservatives certainly don't believe that there is any constitutional right to an abortion.

00:11:16.800 No one thought that there was any constitutional right to an abortion until the 1970s.

00:11:21.180 And then they upheld it in the 90s, but they said that the reasoning for why they had it in the 70s was BS.

00:11:25.300 And then, so no one, no one ever thought that.

00:11:27.860 And the conservatives have said, we support the Constitution.

00:11:30.180 The left, when it's convenient for them, will pretend that their radical desires are in the Constitution.

00:11:35.780 But then they'll also embrace the 1619 Project.

00:11:39.380 Then they'll also say whatever means necessary.

00:11:42.540 Then they'll also say, who cares about your BS constitutional rights?

00:11:46.960 They'll also say, it's all terrible, we want to upend the Constitution.

00:11:50.280 When they're being really honest, that's what they tell you.

00:11:52.740 Now, that is the mainstream of the Democratic Party right now.

00:11:58.100 Those are elected representatives at the national level who are saying that.

00:12:03.200 Chuck Schumer, for goodness sakes, when the Supreme Court was going to hand down a ruling he didn't like,

00:12:07.660 he goes outside the Supreme Court, he says, you better watch out.

00:12:10.560 We're coming for you.

00:12:11.600 We're coming for you, Kavanaugh.

00:12:13.600 We're coming for you, making threats to another branch of the government.

00:12:18.500 That's the mainstream.

00:12:20.560 So that's what they want.

00:12:21.340 The radical all the way up to the mainstream of the Democrat Party says,

00:12:26.680 screw your constitutional rights.

00:12:28.860 We're going to take away your guns.

00:12:29.880 We're going to take away your rights of self-government.

00:12:33.120 We're going to take away your right to articulate to the filibuster.

00:12:36.580 We're going to take away your right to deliberative representatives. 1.00

00:12:40.260 Okay.

00:12:40.620 What do our radicals say?

00:12:43.240 Our radicals to the mainstream.

00:14:40.120 we need to take away your guns.

00:14:41.260 We need to trans your kids. 1.00

00:14:42.320 We need to kill your babies. 1.00

00:14:43.480 We hate the American flag. 1.00

00:14:45.180 We've got to hoist the pride flag everywhere around the country,

00:14:48.160 in kindergarten classrooms, all the way over to the Vatican.

00:14:51.120 That's the kind of stuff they're pushing.

00:14:53.600 What are our radicals saying?

00:14:55.340 Marjorie Taylor Greene.

00:14:57.280 Oh, that radical. 0.99

00:14:58.920 Oh, she's so crazy. 1.00

00:15:00.920 Oh, my goodness. 0.99

00:15:01.900 She's always trending on Twitter.

00:15:03.060 The Democrats hate her so much.

00:15:04.640 What are some of the crazy things that they're really upset at her for saying?

00:15:09.040 The craziest, wildest thing they're upset with her for saying is that she defends the American

00:15:15.620 nation and Christianity.

00:15:17.460 You see, nationalism is a good thing.

00:15:20.460 It's where all Americans should be.

00:15:22.060 We should be wanting America first.

00:15:23.940 We should be wanting our tax dollars, our focus, our legislation, our bills, and our leadership focused on our nation.

00:15:32.360 We should be proud of nationalism.

00:15:34.060 And we should be proud of an America first nationalism.

00:15:37.780 And then lastly, we should be most proud of Christianity.

00:15:41.440 So if Christian nationalism is something to be scared of, they're lying to you.

00:15:46.660 And they're lying to you on purpose because that is exactly the temperature change that is happening in America today.

00:15:53.100 And they can't control it.

00:15:55.000 They can't control it.

00:15:56.260 And that's what terrifies them the most.

00:15:58.320 She is 100% right here.

00:16:00.640 This is why the libs are making such a big boogeyman out of Christian nationalism. 0.75

00:16:06.060 That's the new phrase du jour.

00:16:08.580 They're doing that because that is the opposite of the form of government that they want, which is liberal imperialism.

00:16:16.360 They believe that America is nothing more than a system of values.

00:16:21.400 And it coincidentally happens to be whatever values they want at any given moment.

00:16:27.100 Transgendering the kids, yes, that's at the very heart of America. 1.00

00:16:30.380 Oh, yes, Washington and Hamilton, they fought the revolution so that we could pump kids full of puberty blockers.

00:16:36.400 It's an abstract right.

00:16:37.960 America is nothing but an idea.

00:16:40.780 They push for that, on the one hand, liberalism.

00:16:45.640 And then they push for imperialism as the form of the government.

00:16:49.740 They don't want to just confine that to America's borders.

00:16:53.300 They want to spread it all around the world.

00:16:56.320 This is why the libs prefer the pride flag to the red, white, and blue flag.

00:17:00.860 The red, white, and blue, stars and stripes, American flag is the flag of a nation.

00:17:05.280 The rainbow flag is the flag of an empire.

00:17:08.120 The stars and stripes, that's the flag of borders, of people, of tradition, of a way of life.

00:17:16.480 That has existed in a particular place for centuries.

00:17:21.460 The pride flag is just about the idea of do whatever you want.

00:17:26.200 The pride flag means exactly what it means whether you wave it in America or whether you wave it in Tibet.

00:17:33.380 It's always making the same claims.

00:17:35.040 It doesn't make claims about a particular people in a particular region with a particular shared history.

00:17:39.840 It's for everybody, man.

00:17:41.500 Do what you want to do.

00:17:42.780 That's also why the pride flag is always changing.

00:17:45.380 That's why they keep adding colors every four hours, I think, at this point.

00:17:48.660 They add new colors because it's just an idea that's expanding and growing, man.

00:17:53.820 That's imperial.

00:17:54.700 I do not have any particular preference for nationalism or imperialism.

00:18:03.420 I think there have been good countries and bad countries, good nations and good nations, good empires and bad empires.

00:18:07.920 But right now, the libs are pushing liberal empire, an empire that spreads all around the world through the nonprofits and the corporations and sometimes military invasion to defend American values by which they just mean the rainbow flag.

00:18:26.340 And I oppose that.

00:18:27.940 I think that's a bad idea.

00:18:29.720 I don't think that we should be spreading our resources all around the world, whether we're talking about blood, treasure, any of that, any of that, to promote liberalism.

00:18:40.600 I don't think that's a good idea.

00:18:42.520 I don't think that's a good use of any of our resources.

00:18:45.180 So if the alternative to global empire, to liberal empire, is nationalism, then I guess I'm for nationalism.

00:18:52.880 And the alternative here, obviously, to liberalism is Christianity. 0.86

00:18:56.980 Something is going to animate your country.

00:18:59.780 Some spirit is going to animate your country.

00:19:02.820 It's going to form the culture.

00:19:06.000 For the vast majority of American history, that was Christianity. 0.83

00:19:09.860 You see it in our earliest documents all the way up until very, very recently.

00:19:13.940 And there have been prayers.

00:19:16.060 And there have been speeches of thanksgiving.

00:19:18.300 The most famous speeches in American history invoke God.

00:19:22.060 Because they have to.

00:19:23.260 Because not only is politics downstream of culture, the culture is downstream of religion.

00:19:29.300 Everyone forgets that second part.

00:19:30.740 All human conflict ultimately is theological.

00:19:33.720 And so you're going to have ideas about what is good and bad and right and wrong and true and false.

00:19:38.200 And those are religious ideas.

00:19:39.640 So are you going to have the religion of liberalism, the religion of leftism, the religion of progressivism, or Christianity?

00:19:45.300 What do you want to animate your culture?

00:19:47.600 I bet for normal people out there, even the ones who aren't Christian, the ones who are Jews, the ones who are Muslims,

00:19:53.940 the ones who are just sort of atheists and agnostics, but they have a nostalgia for America,

00:19:59.120 for the America that we all grew up in and know and love,

00:20:02.060 I think they would rather live in a Christian culture. 1.00

00:20:04.620 Do you want to live in a culture that's known for its cathedrals and beautiful works of art and people generally behaving themselves?

00:20:12.580 Or do you want to live in the culture of liberalism, where kids are being dragged to drag shows,

00:20:18.540 where pride flags are hanging everywhere, where we're killing babies left and right, 0.85

00:20:24.200 where we're tearing down statues of our forebears,

00:20:26.660 where we're completely rewriting history and censoring literature,

00:20:29.720 and getting rid of all of the beautiful culture that we've become accustomed to,

00:20:33.940 that we unfortunately no longer seem to appreciate in this country?

00:20:37.420 Which one do you want to live in?

00:20:38.840 It's obviously, obviously the former.

00:20:42.040 Speaking of those drag shows, our pal Fleckis Talks,

00:20:45.900 one of his journalists just caught one of the most disturbing things I've seen in a few weeks.

00:20:54.940 You want to know what the liberal empire is selling?

00:20:56.480 They go to this Dallas gay bar, and they go to an event, drag the kids to pride. 0.72

00:21:03.000 Drag the kids to pride. 0.77

00:21:04.340 That doesn't sound great.

00:21:06.160 It's a show at Mr. Mr. Bar,

00:21:10.420 billed as a family-friendly version of the bar's regular champagne drag lunch.

00:21:16.040 Here's what they saw.

00:21:17.320 How do you think the event went today?

00:21:20.180 I think it was amazing.

00:21:21.820 I never get to perform in front of children.

00:21:23.900 It's like performing in front of children.

00:21:25.600 I have like six other younger siblings.

00:21:28.000 So it was very emotional.

00:21:29.800 I loved it.

00:21:30.500 It was probably one of the best shows I've ever done.

00:21:33.240 What do you say to the conservative parents that wouldn't bring their children to an event like this?

00:21:38.460 Why?

00:21:39.180 Here's the thing.

00:21:39.840 I don't think that there is any kind of issue with exposing children to this,

00:21:43.860 because especially if your child is in the community or you may think they are.

00:21:51.900 I just think that drag is educational.

00:21:54.020 Do you think that exposing children to drag will lead children to do drag in the future in the long run?

00:21:59.840 Not if they don't want to do drag.

00:22:01.340 I'm a gay man, and I don't want to do drag.

00:22:02.960 So I don't think, no, absolutely not.

00:22:06.860 It's not grooming.

00:22:07.880 It's not, you will be what you are.

00:22:10.880 We're not going to turn you into something else because you come and see this event.

00:22:14.640 This video is so enlightening.

00:22:17.340 One, obviously, this is freakish and perverse and horrible,

00:22:22.080 and under no circumstances should drag queens be allowed to jiggle for kids. 0.86

00:22:27.120 You heard how creepy that guy was at the top?

00:22:28.840 He goes, I never get to dance around for kids.

00:22:31.700 This is really great.

00:22:32.880 I love dancing around for kids in my high heels.

00:22:35.840 This guy should be arrested for doing this.

00:22:37.960 So, you know, the video serves that purpose, too.

00:22:40.460 But it's so telling about the hidden agenda here, the not so hidden agenda here,

00:22:47.560 because the little group at the end of the people wearing the Beto shirts

00:22:53.140 who just were customers at this bar who were just talking about the show,

00:22:56.960 they give one answer to the question of what this means for kids.

00:23:00.820 But the drag queen gives a totally different answer. 0.98

00:23:04.300 You saw, it was asked, so you really think kids should be at this thing?

00:23:06.980 And the drag queen, he says, oh, yeah, I think drag is educational.

00:23:12.960 And then the people in the Beto shirts at the end, they say,

00:23:16.640 you really think kids should be at this thing?

00:23:18.080 They say, oh, yeah, it's no big deal.

00:23:20.060 They're not being indoctrinated.

00:23:21.780 They're not being educated.

00:23:23.340 No, it's there.

00:23:24.100 And that guy, he says, no, look, it's not going to make kids more inclined to do drag.

00:23:28.620 No, look, I'm a gay guy, and I don't want to do drag.

00:23:32.040 And so kids are going to be what they're going to be.

00:23:34.220 Kids are going to be who they are.

00:23:35.440 That woman there, she says, no, kids are, they are what they are, and they never change at all.

00:23:42.440 Well, those are totally contradictory views of education, of human nature, of the mind, of the soul.

00:23:49.460 The drag queen is saying you become something.

00:23:52.260 You start out one way, but then through education, you become something else.

00:23:57.520 Education shapes your desires.

00:23:59.500 Education shapes your interests.

00:24:01.080 Education shapes your beliefs.

00:24:03.600 And then the ridiculous group of people at the end in the Beto shirt, they say, nah, education doesn't do any of that.

00:24:11.060 You're just born a certain way, and you never change at all, ever. 0.85

00:24:14.100 You don't change your beliefs.

00:24:15.000 You don't change your desires.

00:24:15.900 You don't change your interests.

00:24:16.900 You don't change anything.

00:24:17.900 You just, nothing affects you.

00:24:19.580 Who's right?

00:24:20.760 Obviously, the drag queen is right here. 1.00

00:24:23.020 Obviously, not just drag shows are educational, but all of culture is educational.

00:24:30.200 And all of these lessons and all of these instructions, if they weren't, we wouldn't send kids to school.

00:24:34.920 If we weren't, we wouldn't learn anything.

00:24:36.780 If they weren't educational, if they weren't, another way of saying that is indoctrinating,

00:24:42.980 if they weren't formative in shaping people's views, especially little kids whose brains are so malleable,

00:24:48.460 if they weren't accomplishing that in the drag shows, then the left wouldn't be promoting them. 1.00

00:26:26.820 about.

00:26:27.580 You know what I'm saying.

00:26:28.920 What is a woman? 1.00

00:26:30.380 What is a woman is so, so good.

00:26:34.060 I had high expectations for it initially.

00:26:37.080 It has exceeded my expectations. 0.99

00:26:38.960 Matt is just a stone-cold psychopath.

00:26:42.940 He's interviewing these radicals, and he just keeps a straight face the whole time, and 0.98

00:26:46.840 he allows them to hoist themselves on their own petard.

00:26:49.040 I know that sounds kind of dirty, and I guess in this case it is pretty dirty.

00:26:52.600 But metaphorically, they do the same thing.

00:26:55.460 You must be a member to watch the movie.

00:27:05.740 We'll be right back with a lot more.

00:27:07.100 The reason that the libs are pushing for younger and younger people and younger and younger

00:27:25.440 kids to go to pride parades, to go to drag shows, to go to gay bars, to watch men jiggle

00:27:31.820 around, the reason they're pushing for this is because it is formative, is because it shapes

00:27:37.920 their minds.

00:27:39.120 They are telling us this.

00:27:40.500 They are telling us this in their own words.

00:27:42.660 And so they cannot—well, they can, but it won't make any sense, and it's obviously disingenuous.

00:27:46.980 They cannot simultaneously tell us that the drag shows are not doing any of that, that

00:27:53.080 the pride parades are not doing any of that.

00:27:55.680 We have to—we're not indoctrinating the kids in radical sexual ideologies, and it's

00:28:02.580 good that we are.

00:28:04.060 That's the argument they're making.

00:28:05.800 The Washington Post is trying to make sense of this.

00:28:08.180 It was one of the funniest articles I have read in a mainstream paper in a very, very long

00:28:14.780 time.

00:28:15.020 Headline, gender identity lessons banned in some schools are rising in others.

00:28:23.040 And here is the real money line.

00:28:25.220 Here's the thesis of the column, or of the news article, rather.

00:28:31.020 In Florida and several other states, educators are restricted in teaching about gender identity.

00:28:37.360 But elsewhere, teachers are embracing the topic as the number of transgender and gender

00:28:43.260 non-binary children rises.

00:28:46.340 And I love this line, because you might not catch it.

00:28:50.060 If you're just reading it quickly, okay, dude, all right, there's different schools are disagreeing.

00:28:53.960 But I love the way they frame it here.

00:28:56.160 In Florida and certain other states, the conservatives are tamping down on transing the kids.

00:29:01.460 But in other schools, teachers are embracing this topic as the number of children who are

00:29:08.280 getting trans rises.

00:29:09.540 You think those two things might have something to do with one another?

00:29:14.140 It's just so strange.

00:29:16.360 Can you believe these conservatives?

00:29:18.220 They don't want to, the number of transgender children is rising. 1.00

00:29:22.640 So why don't they want to teach lessons where they encourage kids to become transgender?

00:29:26.740 It's so weird.

00:29:27.460 Maybe because the lessons are impelling people to become transgender. 0.99

00:29:34.540 It reminds me of this article by Fox Butterfield in the New York Times.

00:29:38.880 This is a famous headline in the New York Times.

00:29:41.060 They say, despite drop in crime, an increase in inmates.

00:29:47.320 Despite crime falling, the prisons keep filling.

00:29:51.180 Despite.

00:29:52.060 I don't know that despite means what you think it means.

00:29:54.760 Actually, maybe there's a connection here.

00:29:56.320 It's a strange social phenomenon.

00:29:59.380 The crime rate continues to fall, even though we keep putting all the criminals in prison.

00:30:04.780 Isn't that so weird?

00:30:05.960 No, it's only weird.

00:30:08.840 It's only difficult to understand if you are so taken with a radical ideology that you can't see

00:30:14.340 plain realities right before your very eyes.

00:30:18.360 I'm so glad that the Washington Post, I'm so glad that that drag queen at that bar in Dallas,

00:30:25.200 I'm so glad that some of the libs at least, are beginning to admit that we were right all along.

00:30:33.320 RB, you know how much I hate to say I told you so.

00:30:36.040 You know how much I hate to take out my Nolstradamus hat and my crystal ball and predict the future.

00:30:39.740 But they're telling us we were right. 0.68

00:30:42.640 They're saying, yeah, we are grooming them.

00:30:45.020 At the very least, we're grooming them intellectually.

00:30:48.180 At the very least, we're grooming them in their moral sense to become accustomed to drag shows. 0.92

00:30:55.280 I mean, at this show, you had little kids putting dollar bills in the thongs of these creeps. 0.56

00:31:00.320 This is overtly, explicitly sexual stuff.

00:31:05.020 They say, yeah, no, but it's all fun.

00:31:06.380 It's just to teach tolerance.

00:31:07.900 Maybe we shouldn't tolerate that.

00:31:09.860 Are we going to tolerate everything?

00:31:11.760 No.

00:31:12.900 The libs certainly don't tolerate everything. 1.00

00:31:14.940 In fact, as we all know, I almost don't even want to say it.

00:31:18.920 It's become cliche at this point.

00:31:20.000 They're extremely intolerant of all the normal, good, traditional stuff that we've ever had in this country.

00:31:25.280 They're intolerant of the American flag in some cases.

00:31:27.580 They protest the Star-Spangled Banner.

00:31:29.320 So it's not a question of being more tolerant or being less tolerant.

00:31:34.120 Moreover, though, sometimes you'll hear conservatives say, we're the really tolerant ones.

00:31:38.680 We're the real liberals.

00:31:40.100 I'm a conservative because I'm a liberal, because I'm so tolerant.

00:31:42.760 I think you should be able to say and do whatever you want.

00:31:45.000 No, that's not true either.

00:31:46.140 We are also not the totally tolerant ones.

00:31:48.700 Nobody is totally tolerant.

00:31:50.620 Nobody really believes that people should be able to say and do whatever they want whenever they want to do it.

00:31:56.260 No, that isn't true.

00:31:57.560 At least I don't.

00:31:59.720 I don't want to tolerate the drag show for kids. 0.95

00:32:03.260 I think that should be shut down.

00:32:04.900 And the people who, I think there should be a law passed against it.

00:32:07.820 And when people break that law, I think they should go to prison for a very long time.

00:32:11.820 Call me intolerant.

00:32:13.660 Call me.

00:32:14.780 Michael, you're just not open-minded enough.

00:32:16.520 I guess I'm not.

00:32:17.300 Some people, it seems, are so open-minded that their brains have fallen out.

00:32:21.660 No, we're not totally open and totally liberal and totally.

00:32:26.640 No, every culture has standards.

00:32:29.720 Actually, I think today, wow, providential.

00:32:33.260 The paperback of my book, Speechless, Controlling Words, Controlling Minds, which is the number one national bestselling book, came out last year.

00:32:40.200 The paperback is out today, so you can get that wherever you get fine books about how we shouldn't tolerate everything.

00:32:46.340 Certainly not drag queens trying to trans the kids. 1.00

00:32:49.200 Do not do that.

00:32:50.920 The sexual ideology that the libs are promoting ultimately is incoherent. 0.81

00:32:56.920 And you can see this.

00:32:58.000 You can see this especially in a story from the New York Post, just came out a few days ago.

00:33:05.620 I'm in a relationship with my 1998 Chevy, and our sex life is so special.

00:33:12.040 That is the headline of it.

00:33:14.120 I think, do we have some B-roll of this relationship?

00:33:17.600 Yeah, so it's, this is sort of, I almost feel bad even playing this.

00:33:21.380 It's a guy just kissing his car and lying underneath his car and doing all sorts of creepy things with his car.

00:33:28.960 It says, he's 37 years old.

00:33:31.860 He, he came out about 10 years ago as being in love with his car.

00:33:36.460 And all right, that's enough beer.

00:33:37.620 I don't need to see him kiss his car anymore.

00:33:38.940 That's fine.

00:33:39.480 That's, I'm sorry I asked.

00:33:41.320 I'm sorry.

00:33:41.620 I asked.

00:33:42.180 It was my fault, but I'm sorry I asked.

00:33:43.940 He was on this show, TLC's My Strange Addiction.

00:33:47.280 And it went viral at the time.

00:33:49.040 And now 10 years later, he says, I'm still, I'm still in love with my car.

00:33:51.640 I got a feel for my automobile.

00:33:53.440 I like to lean over his fender and across his hood and kind of press up against him.

00:33:57.180 Okay, you get the idea.

00:33:58.100 And he says that he does all the sorts of things with his car that married people do with one another. 0.98

00:34:05.760 The sexual revolutionaries are going to laugh at this. 1.00

00:34:09.300 They're going to say, oh, come on. 0.69

00:34:11.100 This is what, how dare you?

00:34:12.540 Are you, you're, you're comparing all of our kind of bizarre sexual eccentricities like drag shows for kids. 0.96

00:34:18.580 You're comparing it to this wacko guy who's got objectophilia is the, apparently the medical term for it. 1.00

00:34:26.360 And he's in love with his car.

00:34:27.680 It's completely incomparable.

00:34:30.560 Sure.

00:34:31.320 Sure.

00:34:31.680 Now, when we conservatives have been accused of suggesting a slippery slope in years past, it's taken about what?

00:34:39.600 Six months to at most five or six years before we are at that point on the slippery slope.

00:34:46.320 We get, we get to that slippery slope pretty, pretty quickly.

00:34:48.980 But actually the, the guy in love with his car poses a much bigger question for the sexual revolutionaries than say people warning about pedophilia.

00:34:59.920 Remember that there, during the sexual revolution, there were conservatives who were warning, you know, if you normalize certain errant and deviant sexual behaviors, pretty soon people are going to try to normalize pedophilia.

00:35:10.900 And the Libs said, that's not true. 0.99

00:35:12.380 That's ridiculous. 0.73

00:35:13.000 That'll never happen. 0.66

00:35:13.640 And what are they doing?

00:35:14.220 They're obviously normalizing pedophilia right now.

00:35:16.480 You can see it on tape and you can hear them make the arguments.

00:35:19.280 There was that professor who was fired from, from Old Dominion College for trying to normalize pedophilia.

00:35:27.320 And then the, the professor just got hired by Johns Hopkins, I believe, by a technically even more prestigious university.

00:35:34.760 So they are normalizing this, but I'll say, well, look, they might, if we normalize deviant sexual behaviors pretty soon, some people will be trying to normalize bestiality.

00:35:48.860 And that's true.

00:35:49.720 That's been less common than the people trying to normalize pedos, but you have seen pockets of that. 0.84

00:35:54.780 But this is an even bigger, this actually is a bigger problem because the sexual revolutionaries can say, look, we support the whole acronym and having, you know, giant monkeypox orgies and, you know, throuples and quadruples and quintuples and all.

00:36:11.840 They can say, we support all that stuff because it's all consensual.

00:36:15.600 Consent is the key here.

00:36:18.280 And a child cannot consent.

00:36:20.560 Now the libs are weakening on this already. 0.51

00:36:23.160 They're saying, no, a child, not only can a child consent to sex, but a child can consent to making permanent sexual decisions like lopping off parts of his body.

00:36:31.000 So they're already weakening on that.

00:36:32.440 But in theory, they could make that argument.

00:36:33.800 Or they could say, look, an animal cannot consent.

00:36:36.120 This is why it's wrong to, to sleep with animals is if you, you know, you're violating their consent and that's wrong.

00:36:41.660 But then my question is, what about the Chevy?

00:36:46.700 What about the 1998 Chevy?

00:36:49.400 The 1998 Chevy doesn't have will, doesn't have freedom of choice, is not a conscious being to my knowledge, just an old car.

00:37:01.080 So if this guy wants to do all sorts of creepy things and say, love is love and respect our love with his car, what's wrong with that?

00:37:09.160 We all know that this is extremely disordered and wrong and should be discouraged and this guy should seek help and not be celebrated for doing these sorts of things with his car.

00:37:23.300 We all know that.

00:37:25.240 But why?

00:37:27.500 Why?

00:37:28.360 Conservatives can answer why.

00:37:29.740 Christians, Jews, Muslims, people with a traditional, even somewhat traditional religious sense and moral sense can tell you why.

00:37:38.120 Because they'll say, well, that body, that body part of yours is not meant for that muffler. 0.91

00:37:44.940 That's not actually, men and women are complementary and they go together and they get married and they create children and it's wrong and you shouldn't do that thing that you're doing underneath the car.

00:37:52.640 And that's just intrinsically wrong and it's disordered and it's contrary to the natural law.

00:37:56.700 And we can explain why it's wrong.

00:37:58.400 But if your only criterion for sexual ethics is consent, consent and if it feels good, do it, then you can't say this is wrong.

00:38:12.580 And I bet you if you talk to the real, the real radicals out there on the sexual revolutionary side and you said, hey, what do you think about the guy who's in a relationship with his 98 Chevy?

00:38:20.960 They would say, well, you know, if he likes it, whatever.

00:38:22.820 It's not hurting anybody, who cares?

00:38:24.660 It's fine, let him do it.

00:38:25.820 That's okay.

00:38:26.340 Yeah, that's not my thing, but that's fine.

00:38:30.620 That is, that is a real divide.

00:38:34.420 I don't think that we as a society should encourage that.

00:38:39.660 I don't think that the guy, this guy has any right to do those sorts of things with his car.

00:38:46.560 I don't think that this is some sacred natural, I don't think love is love.

00:38:50.740 I don't think, I don't think that the, the guy's relationship with his car is something admirable that we should encourage.

00:38:58.540 And so if we're, if we're now at that position where we're saying, actually, some things are wrong, then, then and only then can we crawl back to the like, hey, maybe the kids should not be at the drag show putting dollar bills in the G strings of these weirdos.

00:39:18.480 Then and only then can we get back to, hey, maybe you shouldn't be pumping seven-year-olds full of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones potentially.

00:39:29.760 Then and only then can we get back to some semblance of, hey, hey, maybe marriage has a meaning.

00:39:35.480 When we say marriage has a meaning, by the way, we're not saying that we need, we should be really cruel to people who have different sexual desires. 0.98

00:39:42.340 We should be, we should just beat these guys up. 0.98

00:39:44.740 We should oppress them. 1.00

00:39:45.800 We should run them out. 0.51

00:39:46.460 No one's saying that.

00:39:47.880 We're saying that there is reality, that there is such a thing as marriage.

00:39:52.420 And marriage has a meaning no matter what the radicals want to pretend the meaning is.

00:39:57.380 I can say that this leftist tears tumbler is a chainsaw, and I can even force everyone around me to call it a chainsaw, but it's not a chainsaw because reality has some say here.

00:40:09.420 It's a leftist tears tumbler, and the point of it is to drink delicious leftist tears.

00:40:12.900 There's a new poll that just came out, came out from Gallup, founding that most Americans support the redefinition of marriage that the Supreme Court did in the Obergefell case.

00:40:23.240 They support legal same-sex marriage.

00:40:25.200 This is at an all-time high, 71%.

00:40:29.580 Back in 1996, only 27% of the public supported redefining marriage.

00:40:35.720 Americans who rarely or never go to church have been the most supportive of same-sex marriage from the very beginning.

00:40:43.240 On the other hand, 58% of Americans who report that they attend church weekly oppose same-sex marriage, while 40% of that group are in favor.

00:40:52.560 So that's actually a pretty scary statistic, even for the Christians.

00:40:56.100 Christianity is pretty clear about what marriage is.

00:40:58.580 It's one of the few, what you would call, political issues that Christ talks about explicitly and defines explicitly.

00:41:07.180 Actually, even in opposition to some of the prevailing divorce practices of the time.

00:41:14.180 He's very clear about this.

00:41:15.640 And yet, 40% of people who say, oh, I'm a Christian.

00:41:17.580 I go to church every week.

00:41:19.080 Even they support this radical redefinition.

00:41:21.460 But the majority don't.

00:41:22.600 Why?

00:41:22.960 This is not surprising.

00:41:23.980 Of course, the last holdout group on redefining marriage is regular practicing Christians. 0.74

00:41:31.980 Because they are at least more likely to know what they believe.

00:41:36.320 They have a view of things.

00:41:37.600 And the left wants to say it's animated by hatred or bigotry or closed-mindedness.

00:41:41.460 It's not.

00:41:41.880 But it's not motivated by any.

00:41:43.980 It's just, it's motivated by a view of the way that things actually are.

00:41:49.600 That coincidentally is the view that every human being ever in the whole history of the world until five minutes ago believed.

00:41:55.240 So there, but if you're still going to church every week, that means that you're at least more likely to oppose the left.

00:42:06.120 I mean, don't forget, even the term the left came up during the French Revolution to describe the people who opposed the church.

00:42:13.360 To describe the people who are trying to upend the church and upend Christianity and recreate the world anew out of their own unfettered reason. 0.90

00:42:20.280 Nothing has really changed all that much, at least about the logic of these political movements during that time.

00:42:26.720 Is it any wonder that the libs are doing everything they can to stop people from reading the Bible in schools, to stop people from praying in schools, to go after churches, to shut down the churches during coronavirus, even while they keep the pot dispensaries open, to try to take away the tax-exempt status of the churches, to try to pressure pastors, to change their views, to be in accord with political correctness, to try to anathematize Christians?

00:42:47.080 Is it any wonder?

00:42:47.860 Of course they are doing that.

00:42:48.780 That is the stumbling block.

00:42:50.500 That is the impediment to their radical political agenda.

00:42:54.040 And they will do whatever it takes to implement that.

00:42:57.700 Speaking of weird sex stuff, this story came out last week.

00:43:01.200 I didn't have time to get to it, but I really don't want to let it go.

00:43:04.240 Michael Avenatti, the former future Democrat president.

00:43:09.700 Michael Avenatti, the man who was going to take down Trump and go on TV seven bazillion times,

00:43:16.460 and was actually being feted as a presidential candidate.

00:43:20.060 He was just sentenced to four years in prison for robbing a porn star, for stealing money from his client, Stormy Daniels.

00:43:32.100 Avenatti was representing Daniels, and he stole nearly $300,000 from her after the release of her biography. 0.76

00:43:39.680 Full disclosure, he's just a dirtbag lawyer, right?

00:43:46.440 I don't know how to say it in any more charitable way. 1.00

00:43:49.320 He is a sleazy dirtbag lawyer who uses prostitutes to try to score political points and advance his own career. 1.00

00:43:55.940 And then he takes money from them, too. 0.99

00:43:57.940 And then he tries to extort big corporations and throw his cheap political influence around.

00:44:05.800 And he's just, anyone could see it from a mile away.

00:44:08.720 You don't need your Nostradamus hat to be able to tell from the beginning, this guy is bad news.

00:44:14.200 This guy should have no voice in the American public.

00:44:16.420 So, of course, the libs breathlessly promoted him.

00:44:19.980 Michael Avenatti is laying down the law.

00:44:22.640 And is he really thinking about running for president?

00:44:26.440 Joining me now live, the man himself, Michael Avenatti.

00:44:28.980 Let's talk to somebody who understands the system very well.

00:44:32.820 Michael Avenatti.

00:44:34.120 He's Donald Trump's worst nightmare.

00:44:36.520 Michael Avenatti.

00:44:37.600 Michael, thanks so much for being here.

00:44:39.040 Morning.

00:44:39.580 Did you talk to Stormy Daniels last night?

00:44:41.180 What was her reaction?

00:44:42.140 Did the president just get a new challenger for 2020?

00:44:45.740 Stormy Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti may have just tossed his hat into the ring.

00:44:50.780 Looking ahead to 2020, one reason why I'm taking you seriously as a contender is because of your presence on cable news.

00:44:57.120 First, let me take a moment to brag on my former student.

00:44:59.800 This dude right here, I think of him as in a justice league with Robert Mueller to save our democracy.

00:45:06.140 He's going to save our democracy right after he gets out of the clink for robbing a porn star, his client, a porn star.

00:45:12.720 Michael Avenatti made 121 appearances on CNN alone.

00:45:20.440 And he was on all the other channels too.

00:45:23.120 But CNN alone, they had him on 121 times in a very short period of time.

00:45:31.420 He's Donald Trump's worst nightmare.

00:45:33.920 He's going to, Democrats just got a new candidate, baby. 1.00

00:45:36.980 Oh, he's a fraud, shakedown artist. 1.00

00:45:40.540 Okay, never mind, go away. 0.99

00:45:41.500 No, we don't need to answer for him anymore.

00:45:43.180 Every one of those cable news guys, every one of those Democrat operatives should answer for Michael Avenatti.

00:45:49.580 The next time that they start pontificating about our democracy and integrity and character, character matters.

00:45:57.620 Oh, yeah?

00:45:58.600 Well, how's your judgment of character?

00:46:01.340 Libs?

00:46:02.060 How's your judgment of character?

00:46:04.480 CNN? 0.96

00:46:04.840 CNN, you promoted this guy who is cartoonishly sleazy and criminal. 0.91

00:46:12.920 How is your, oh, never mind.

00:46:14.940 Because being a Democrat, being a liberal in our society means never having to say that you're sorry.

00:46:21.900 They just move right on.

00:46:23.720 It's like that old Clinton strategy.

00:46:25.140 Deny, deny, deny, deny, deny.

00:46:26.880 Okay, it's old news.

00:46:28.120 Moving right along.

00:46:28.960 So, Michael Avenatti going to, Michael Avenatti at the very least will be held somewhat accountable for stealing that money.

00:46:36.300 Speaking of fiscal accountability, Elon Musk just criticized the Biden administration for completely botching the economy.

00:46:43.200 And Joe Biden was asked about Elon's criticism.

00:46:46.800 And Joe, I think the question even was planted, frankly.

00:46:49.740 Joe Biden thought he had such a great zinger against Elon Musk, but the zinger didn't quite work.

00:46:56.820 Elon Musk has asked, has said that he has a super bad feeling about the U.S. economy.

00:47:01.680 He's laying off 10 percent of his workforce.

00:47:04.140 What do you say to Elon Musk about his feeling about the economy?

00:47:07.060 Jamie Dimon has said some wrong things.

00:47:08.640 Well, let me tell you, while Elon Musk is talking about that, Ford is increasing their investment overwhelmingly.

00:47:15.440 I think Ford is increasing the investment in building new electric vehicles, 6,000 new employees, union employees, I might add, in the Midwest.

00:47:26.020 The former Chrysler Corporation, Stellantis, they are also making similar investments in electric vehicles.

00:47:33.100 Intel is adding 20,000 new jobs for making computer chips.

00:47:38.640 So, you know, lots of luck on his trip to the moon.

00:47:42.540 I mean, I don't, I mean.

00:47:44.460 Yeah, boom, owned, roasted, Elon.

00:47:47.220 Lots of luck on your trip to the moon.

00:47:49.440 You know that this was a planted question.

00:47:51.840 He has Biden right away pulled out his little cheat sheet of bullet points where he thought this is going to be a great way to dunk on Elon.

00:47:59.100 We know that the White House plans questions all the time because Biden actually tells us.

00:48:02.640 He goes, I'm supposed to call on Johnny next.

00:48:05.140 What was that thing that you're going to?

00:48:06.400 So he pulls it out and he goes, good luck on your trip to the moon, Elon.

00:48:09.740 The only problem with that zinger is that it turns out that the federal government is funding Elon's trip to the moon.

00:48:18.920 NASA chose Elon to partner with to go to the moon.

00:48:22.920 Elon is actually responsible for helping the American space program.

00:48:27.600 And the American space program is paying for it.

00:48:30.060 Probably should have Googled it.

00:48:31.320 Who is running the White House?

00:48:33.060 Obviously not Joe Biden.

00:48:34.260 But how does this, even you think I've got this great dunk here and then he just dunks completely on himself.

00:48:41.300 Unless he, maybe he was sincere.

00:48:42.540 Good luck.

00:48:43.240 Good luck, Elon.

00:48:43.960 I hope it's good luck because we're paying for it in federal government.

00:48:47.280 Before we go, I have to get to this one line too.

00:48:49.620 Speaking of language flops.

00:48:52.380 Achenki Uyghur is the guy from the Young Turks.

00:48:55.660 And he's belligerent and extremely left wing and usually very disrespectful.

00:49:00.680 So, Achenki Uyghur just tweeted out the other day.

00:49:03.120 He said, do Republicans speak English?

00:49:05.460 What part of well regulated means no regulations?

00:49:09.080 He's talking about the First Amendment, right, which says, or the Second Amendment rather,

00:49:11.960 which says a well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state.

00:49:16.220 The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

00:49:19.260 And without debating the constitutional history of gun laws and gun control,

00:49:27.000 without debating what the militia, what role the militia played in the founding of the country

00:49:31.980 and what role it plays today, I just have to point out that the incoherence

00:49:36.900 that Achenki Uyghur is accusing the Republicans of demonstrating,

00:49:41.020 he himself is demonstrating just on the English language.

00:49:45.180 Just on exactly what he's talking about.

00:49:46.680 The phrase, a well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state,

00:49:54.060 is a parenthetical phrase.

00:49:57.200 It's not the main clause of the sentence.

00:50:00.440 Again, I'm not professing to be a constitutional scholar or a gun expert.

00:50:06.460 But I do know the basic rules of the English language.

00:50:11.000 The main clause, the independent clause here is,

00:50:13.540 the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

00:50:17.240 I could say, Michael Knowles, Michael Knowles' hair looking really, really swarthy,

00:50:23.440 looking really, really suave and oily and poofy today, 0.73

00:50:26.480 the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

00:50:29.760 And what, still, that parenthetical would be parenthetical.

00:50:33.440 The main clause does not hinge on that parenthetical clause.

00:50:36.900 So he's saying it's true, it is true, it tells you something about what gun rights mean in America,

00:50:40.380 that we need a well regulated militia, that we need to be able to defend ourselves, to protect ourselves.

00:50:46.740 That's how you keep a state free.

00:50:48.600 But he's saying all of that is just prefaced to say,

00:50:50.840 the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

00:50:52.980 Like, if the libs want to get rid of gun rights and the Second Amendment, 0.95

00:50:56.160 they've got to deal with the main clause.

00:50:58.140 They can't just deal with the parenthetical clause.

00:51:07.060 because they will push their agenda by any means necessary,

00:51:10.460 because they play to win.

00:51:13.560 Maybe we should recognize that,

00:51:14.820 and maybe we should up our game a little bit, too.

00:52:30.740 And a mother who rushed into Rob Elementary
