Ep. 1064 - The Deep State Crossed The Rubicon

Summary

The FBI raid on Trump's Mar-A-Largo raises questions about whether the White House knew about it before it happened. And why is this even a thing? Is this about national security? Or is this about stopping Donald Trump from running for president in 2020?

00:00:26.080 Start sleeping better tonight.
00:00:27.260 I wasn't sure if the White House knew about the FBI raid on Trump's residence at Mar-a-Lago beforehand.
00:00:34.180 I wasn't sure.
00:00:35.000 I'm not sure Biden knows his name half the time.
00:00:38.000 But I was not even sure that the staffers at the White House who really run the show over there knew about the raid.
00:00:45.880 Until yesterday, when White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the White House didn't know about the raid.
00:00:53.840 Which convinced me with 100% certainty that the White House definitely knew about the raid.
00:01:01.620 Can you tell us anything more?
00:01:03.080 Was he watching the news?
00:01:05.020 Was he scrolling Twitter?
00:01:06.220 Did someone in his staff flag it for him?
00:01:08.980 I can tell you this.
00:01:09.980 He was not aware of the Mar-a-Lago raid.
00:01:18.840 I don't know what you guys are calling it before it happened.
00:01:22.540 Humana, humana, humana.
00:01:23.860 I don't know.
00:01:24.540 I don't even know what you guys are calling it.
00:01:27.240 A raid?
00:01:28.500 Yeah, sorry.
00:01:29.640 Never heard that term before.
00:01:31.560 Mara, what now?
00:01:33.080 Donald who?
00:01:33.980 The FB?
00:01:35.000 Huh?
00:01:35.980 Sorry, not ringing any bells.
00:01:37.500 Move along.
00:01:38.520 Move along.
00:01:39.160 Next question.
00:01:41.140 This woman is such a bad liar.
00:01:43.940 If she had just said, yeah, we didn't know about that.
00:01:47.300 Yeah, that was all the FBI on its own.
00:01:49.580 Maybe I would have believed her.
00:01:51.820 But to pretend not to have read about the biggest news story in the country,
00:01:56.860 which pertains to Joe Biden's predecessor and chief rival in the next presidential election.
00:02:02.980 To pretend not to know what a raid is.
00:02:05.740 Karine Jean-Pierre was giving off precisely the same vibes that Hillary Clinton did in 2016
00:02:12.000 when she tried to play dumb on wiping her email server of classified material.
00:02:16.920 Under the law, that decision is made by the official.
00:02:22.580 I was the official.
00:02:23.980 I made those decisions.
00:02:25.260 You were the official at charge.
00:02:26.560 Did you wipe the server?
00:02:27.920 What, like with a cloth or something?
00:02:29.680 Well, no.
00:02:31.580 I don't know how it works digitally at all.
00:02:34.320 I do not have any.
00:02:36.840 Wipe the server?
00:02:38.020 Ha ha ha.
00:02:38.920 Like with a cloth?
00:02:40.400 What's a server?
00:02:41.720 What's wiping?
00:02:42.520 What's a cloth?
00:02:43.140 I don't, ha ha, I don't know.
00:02:44.420 And she was obviously guilty as sin.
00:02:45.980 The strategy didn't work because while Hillary Clinton is many things, she's not dumb.
00:02:51.860 And Joe Biden is another story.
00:02:53.600 But even Biden and his lackeys are not nearly as dumb as they play.
00:02:58.480 What we're seeing right now is a systemic strategy of persecuting the ruling party's political opponents.
00:03:04.760 We can say with certainty that this is not going to stop with Trump and with the raid on Mar-a-Lago.
00:03:12.540 We can say that because we already saw it play out.
00:03:16.660 Because less than 24 hours after the Mar-a-Lago raid, the FBI confiscated the cell phone of a sitting Republican congressman.
00:03:24.500 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:03:25.260 This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:03:26.120 Welcome back to the show.
00:03:34.000 My favorite comment yesterday is from Schmuddle, who says,
00:03:36.760 I work in archival work under a former director of the National Archives.
00:03:41.580 I'm no expert, but I know of nothing that would prevent the president from taking paper copies of archives to his summer retreat.
00:03:47.820 Even then, it wouldn't take two years for a raid to happen to get the documents back.
00:03:52.740 The only paper copies we would care about in the archives are one-of-a-kind documents with no copies.
00:03:59.000 Unless Trump has the Declaration of Independence at Mar-a-Lago, there's nothing he has that the National Archives doesn't already have in multiple forms.
00:04:07.380 That's a really great point.
00:04:08.780 Also worth pointing out that the documents that Trump has, whether he has them or not, that he allegedly even has, would be outdated documents.
00:04:17.500 They would be several years old at this point.
00:04:19.560 Compare that to Hillary, who had real-time classified information on a server that was easily hackable by foreign governments.
00:04:27.060 It's not even comparable.
00:04:28.220 But, of course, there's no raid on Hillary's house, and there is a raid on Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
00:04:32.720 Why?
00:04:32.980 Because this isn't about national security.
00:04:34.680 This isn't about some stupid Federal Records Act.
00:04:36.820 This is about stopping Trump from running for president again in 2024.
00:04:40.300 This is about Joe Biden and the ruling liberal establishment killing its main political opponent's campaign in the cradle.
00:04:48.600 If you ask me, this sort of thing undertaken by the president of the United States at the very least constitutes a very serious HR violation, okay?

00:06:17.000 Bambi.com slash Michael.
00:06:18.920 Well, with the fireworks around the Mar-a-Lago raid, people have missed the story that took place right afterward,
00:06:25.840 which in some ways is almost more significant.
00:06:29.600 One day after the Mar-a-Lago raid, the FBI confiscated the personal cell phone of Representative Scott Perry.
00:06:36.840 He's a Republican congressman from Pennsylvania.
00:06:39.120 That was while he was traveling on Tuesday with his family, according to Representative Perry.
00:06:43.820 This morning, while traveling with my family, three FBI agents visited me and seized my cell phone.
00:06:49.960 They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish.
00:06:55.600 I'm outraged, though not surprised, that the FBI, under the direction of Merrick Garland's DOJ, would seize the phone of a sitting member of Congress.
00:07:04.840 This is approaching the level of a constitutional crisis.
00:07:08.720 I'm not sure that we're quite there yet, but if we're not, we're pretty close.
00:07:13.080 The bureaucracy, which is now under the direction of Christopher Wray, who's a DOJ guy.
00:07:19.620 The DOJ is one of the executive agencies under Biden's control, is now going after Republican members of Congress.
00:07:27.080 On what basis?
00:07:28.240 We don't really know for sure, but all of the reporting we've seen is that this has to do with Donald Trump's attempts to cast doubt on the 2020 presidential election.
00:07:38.680 You know, the most secure election ever in human history, where they totally didn't change all the rules beforehand,
00:07:44.760 and where they totally counted the votes on time, and where they definitely didn't violate the state constitutions,
00:07:48.940 and where they didn't obviously rig the damn thing.
00:07:51.240 You know that, if you have any questions about that, if you cast any doubt on the election integrity that we saw in 2020,
00:07:59.960 why you're an insurrectionist, and the feds have the right to go in, and what, seize the cell phones of sitting members of Congress?
00:08:07.200 Go in and raid the homes of the, the home of the former president and the presumptive Republican nominee in 2024?
00:08:14.920 I, I walk into work today, one of my colleagues greets me, says, hey, how you doing, Michael?
00:08:21.700 I say, oh, it's another fine day in the Banana Republic.
00:08:24.300 We're descending even further into a Banana Republic.
00:08:27.700 What is going on here?
00:08:29.220 I think a lot of people, especially the squishes, are going to say, oh, well, yeah, this is a little weird.
00:08:36.840 It's a little weird for Biden's FBI, highly politicized FBI, highly partisan FBI,
00:08:41.620 to go after the opposition party, members of Congress, and steal their data, and steal their cell phones.
00:08:46.480 It's a little weird to be raiding the homes of the former president and the future, the presumptive nominee.
00:08:52.500 It's a little weird, but okay, it's all right, we'll get back to normal, it's totally fine.
00:08:55.880 No, what we are seeing play out in real time is a major power grab,
00:09:00.220 and a shift in the way that our political structure works.
00:09:04.800 And that happens.
00:09:05.720 I don't think I'm being conspiratorial here.
00:09:07.900 Of course that happens.
00:09:08.860 Consider the way our government looks today, with the giant bureaucracy and the huge power
00:09:14.980 that the federal government has over the lives of ordinary citizens,
00:09:17.880 and the pretty much non-existent power that the states have vis-a-vis the federal government.
00:09:23.080 Consider that and compare that to the government we had in the 1790s,
00:09:29.520 or the very early days of the 19th century, or the late days of the 19th century,
00:09:34.400 or the early 20th century.
00:09:35.560 It all looks very, very different.
00:09:38.280 The way that the political order looks changes over time, and it changes with power grabs,
00:09:44.540 and it changes with audacious campaigns, and it changes with shenanigans,
00:09:49.620 and it changes with illegality, and it changes with rigging elections,
00:09:54.100 and it changes with this branch of government just seizing power from some other branch of government,
00:09:59.160 and this party just suppressing some other political party.
00:10:02.440 And that stuff really does happen.
00:10:04.780 Last night, I was sitting out with a cigar and a drink, and I was reading The Constitution of Athens.
00:10:09.640 I was going back through some of my ancient Greek reading,
00:10:12.360 just to try to get out of the tumult and the chaos of the modern news cycle,
00:10:17.580 and try to get a little bit of a broader perspective.
00:10:19.340 And when you just read how the government of Athens changed over time,
00:10:23.880 it's a comedy of errors, it's a parade of villains, it's all sorts of things where people come in,
00:10:30.560 and they say, yeah, that's the way your government operated before, this is the way it operates now.
00:10:35.100 And you might say that's unjust, and you might not like it, well, I don't give a damn,
00:10:38.280 because I took the power.
00:10:40.000 And that didn't just happen in ancient Greece, that happens in every single state throughout human history,
00:10:45.040 and it's happening here in the United States.
00:10:47.540 What we have seen play out over the last two days is the FBI, at the direction of the DOJ,
00:10:52.800 which has become highly partisan, and it's clearly at the direction of the ruling party in the White House,
00:10:59.000 they are saying, hey, we're going to do some unprecedented stuff.
00:11:03.320 And we're going to do it, and you're going to think it's unjust,
00:11:05.180 and you're going to think it's breaking the norms,
00:11:06.540 and you're going to think that it's a ruthless power grab.
00:11:10.320 Tough.
00:11:11.320 What are you going to do about it?
00:11:13.940 And the answer from the squishes, and the answer from people who are just not rising to the call of this present moment,
00:11:24.060 is, oh, let's just let it play out, nothing to see here, move along, move along.
00:11:27.660 Senator Tim Scott, who I like personally, he's a nice guy personally,
00:11:31.560 he just went on CBS, and he was asked about the raid on Mar-a-Lago,
00:11:35.800 and I think he gave the single worst answer possible.
00:11:39.260 There's been lots of questions before this raid about whether or not the FBI is doing their job apolitical.
00:11:47.260 And we don't know the answer to that question yet.
00:11:49.540 You have doubts about the FBI.
00:11:51.000 This is going to raise more questions, in my opinion.
00:11:53.840 We need to let this play out and see exactly what happens,
00:11:56.920 but we should all have been stunned and surprised and shocked at what happened yesterday.
00:12:00.980 The real question is, A, what is the Federal Records Act, and B, what are we talking about?
00:12:08.120 It has to be something of incredible magnitude for at least my side of the aisle to say that was warranted.
00:12:16.200 Without that, I think we're going to find ourselves in a very big mess as it relates to the credibility of the FBI.
00:12:23.800 So you don't have any concern that they're going to find anything at the Mar-a-Lago?
00:12:26.840 Well, I think we should really, as opposed to rushing the judgment,
00:12:30.220 the most important thing that we can do is let it play out,
00:12:32.280 because I have no idea what they were looking for, and I don't think anybody knows what they were looking for.
00:12:35.940 On that point, I think-
00:12:36.840 Let it play out?
00:12:39.400 Well, let it play out?
00:12:43.840 No.
00:12:44.700 We do not, in fact, need to let it play out.
00:12:48.320 We do not need to worry about rushing to judgment.
00:12:51.580 We're not rushing to judgment.
00:12:53.200 We've seen this play out for six years now, starting with the Russian collusion hoax.
00:12:59.220 We've seen the FBI and the DOJ being wielded by the Democrats, specifically against this guy,
00:13:04.940 against Donald Trump, to spy on his campaign, to try to stop him from becoming president,
00:13:08.980 to try to oust him when he was president, now to try to stop him from running for president again.
00:13:13.020 I've seen enough.
00:13:14.140 We're not rushing to judgment.
00:13:15.300 This is six years in the making.
00:13:16.460 And it's so frustrating to hear Tim Scott say this, because the first part of his answer is
00:13:21.060 very good.
00:13:21.480 He says, we're shocked.
00:13:22.360 This is ridiculous.
00:13:23.340 This is terrible.
00:13:24.000 This is awful.
00:13:25.520 But let's not do anything about it.
00:13:27.460 Let's not do anything.
00:13:28.760 Let's not even rush to conclusions.
00:13:33.320 Let's just let the DOJ and the FBI and the Biden White House destroy Donald Trump's presidential
00:13:40.380 campaign and wield arbitrary, capricious, outrageous power over their political opponents
00:13:46.080 and weaponize the federal law enforcement agencies to just go after and destroy Republicans.
00:13:51.680 And then, you know, once we see how it plays out, then maybe we can think about doing something.
00:13:55.440 Then maybe we can think about fighting back.
00:13:57.160 Are you kidding me?
00:13:58.580 Are you?
00:13:58.940 What a worthless answer.
00:14:00.840 It's even worse than saying it's not a big deal.
00:14:02.760 Because you're saying it is a big deal, but we shouldn't do anything about it.
00:14:05.540 Come on.
00:14:06.100 Come on, man.
00:14:07.300 Come on.
00:14:07.620 I sound like Joe Biden.
00:14:08.320 Come on, man.
00:14:09.040 It's got, oh, it's got me.
00:14:11.400 I'm so, I'm stress eating.
00:14:13.740 That's how frustrated I am by what's going on.
00:14:16.360 And you know, when I stress eat, I only eat the very best.
00:14:18.940 I eat Good Ranchers.
00:14:20.300 Good Ranchers is my absolute favorite meat delivery service.
00:14:24.800 And they are on a mission to donate 100,000 meals to children in need.
00:14:28.860 To help them out, I am offering 10 lucky listeners the chance to win 30 minutes with me,
00:14:35.140 little old me, via Zoom on September 30th, where you can ask me anything.
00:14:41.000 I hope that the topics are all just steak and burger related, but you can ask me anything
00:14:45.600 about anything else you want to.
00:14:46.720 All you got to do is go to goodranchers.com slash Knowles.
00:14:49.600 Buy a box of meat using my code Knowles, K-N-A-W-L-E-S.
00:14:53.180 You'll get $30 off your order plus free shipping.
00:14:56.140 Be automatically entered to win an invitation to this exclusive meat and greed.
00:15:00.800 Get it?
00:15:02.720 Meat and greed.
00:15:03.800 Do you get it?
00:15:04.640 Hurry, hurry up right now.
00:15:05.820 The offer is only valid through August 31st.
00:15:08.020 Goodranchers.com slash Knowles.
00:15:10.540 Meat and greed.
00:15:12.780 Tim Scott may have an ulterior motive for not rushing to the defense of Donald Trump,
00:15:18.700 which is that he's being floated as a potential presidential nominee in 2024.
00:15:24.340 The reason that this is coming out right now is not just because of the usual idle chatter
00:15:29.560 about will he, won't he, is this person going to run, is that person going to run.
00:15:32.440 It's because Tim Scott's got a book coming out, and the publisher of the book accidentally
00:15:38.220 published this little blurb.
00:15:40.120 Here's the blurb from Tim Scott's publisher.
00:15:42.420 Senator Scott is a rising star who sees and understands the importance of bipartisanship
00:15:46.280 to move America forward.
00:15:47.840 This book is a political memoir that includes his core messages as he prepares to make a
00:15:52.060 presidential bid in 2022.
00:15:54.720 So it's a little bit weird to copy here.
00:15:56.160 Obviously, it would be 2024, unless it means he's preparing the bid in 2022, but he's going
00:16:01.700 to run in 2024.
00:16:03.360 But that's coming from the publisher.
00:16:05.820 That's not just coming from page six, okay?
00:16:09.120 That's not just coming from the National Enquirer.
00:16:12.300 And if you look at Tim Scott's career, it does seem that he is positioning himself such
00:16:16.780 that he could run for president in the future.
00:16:18.660 And I like him.
00:16:19.420 I like the guy.
00:16:20.400 I've mentioned, I've interviewed Tim Scott.
00:16:21.980 I like him personally.
00:16:22.800 Maybe he could be a good presidential candidate.
00:16:25.500 He ain't going to be a good presidential candidate with this weak sauce.
00:16:28.240 That's for sure.
00:16:29.460 We just need to let Biden's DOJ run roughshod over all of the Republicans and destroy all
00:16:34.820 of our most popular leaders.
00:16:36.420 And then maybe we can form some conclusions.
00:16:38.860 No, I don't think, I've formed my conclusion.
00:16:40.700 I don't know about you.
00:16:42.020 I formed my conclusion, frankly, back in 2016 when it was so clear that the Obama DOJ was
00:16:49.880 spying on Donald Trump, and then it later came out that the FBI and the DOJ were spying
00:16:54.220 on Trump in collusion with the Democrats.
00:16:57.520 It was a total operation, and there was no basis to the claims about Russian collusion.
00:17:03.560 So I formed my conclusion a long time ago, and then you saw the ridiculous first impeachment,
00:17:08.840 then you saw the ridiculous second impeachment, and then now this, now this.
00:17:13.580 I formed my conclusion.
00:17:14.380 Republicans who haven't formed their conclusion yet, you're not going to make it.
00:17:18.180 You're just not going to make it.
00:17:22.560 Will Chamberlain, who's a prominent right-wing voice, Will tweeted out yesterday something
00:17:27.920 I think a lot of us are thinking.
00:17:29.300 He said, quote, Democrats are behaving as though Republicans won't take power ever again.
00:17:35.400 And a lot of people are looking at that.
00:17:36.680 They say, oh my gosh, these guys are just, they're behaving as though they are now the
00:17:42.340 permanently ensconced tyrants of the United States.
00:17:45.060 Now, I think the implication of this tweet is, this is very foolish for Democrats to
00:17:49.640 do, because Republicans are going to take power again.
00:17:52.220 And once Republicans take power, those Democrats are going to get punished.
00:17:55.620 But I don't think that's the right conclusion.
00:17:59.700 I think the tweet is right.
00:18:01.360 I think the sentiment, it's true, Democrats are behaving as though Republicans won't take
00:18:04.300 power ever again.
00:18:05.020 But I think they're behaving that way with good reason, because I'm not convinced Republicans
00:18:11.120 are going to take any serious degree of power anytime soon.
00:18:14.960 That's not to say that Republicans won't win back the House.
00:18:17.320 I should hope in this election year, Republicans will win back the House.
00:18:20.680 Not to say Republicans won't win back the Senate.
00:18:22.740 It's a tougher election map right now for Republicans.
00:18:25.580 So Republicans may or may not win back the Senate.
00:18:27.500 It's sort of 55-45, 60-40.
00:18:29.580 But maybe they will.
00:18:30.400 Now, Republicans, I guess, kind of have the Supreme Court.
00:18:34.780 We just overruled Roe v. Wade.
00:18:36.020 That's good.
00:18:36.400 You got to count that as a win.
00:18:38.500 But so what?
00:18:40.520 Let's say Republicans even win the White House in 2024.
00:18:43.500 If the FBI and DOJ keep acting this way, I'm not sure how likely that is.
00:18:48.380 If the libs keep changing all the election rules to give the Democrats an advantage and
00:18:52.940 to disenfranchise Republicans, then I'm not sure how likely that is.
00:18:56.660 But let's say that even happens.
00:18:57.700 Okay, so then the Republicans have the House.
00:18:59.260 Maybe the Senate, maybe even the presidency and the Supreme Court.
00:19:03.640 You think that's the government?
00:19:05.980 You think that's power in America?
00:19:08.540 That's not even close to a majority of power in America.
00:19:14.640 What are the other institutions that wield power?
00:19:17.500 How about the corporations?
00:19:20.380 How about big tech?
00:19:22.400 Big tech, oh my gosh, big tech controls the public square.
00:19:24.480 In a republic, the people who control speech essentially control the political order.
00:19:29.260 How about the education system?
00:19:32.320 How about finance?
00:19:34.260 How about the banks?
00:19:35.640 How about all the rest of it?
00:19:39.120 How about the entire blob?
00:19:43.380 How about the media?
00:19:44.540 How about the entertainment media?
00:19:45.780 How about the news media?
00:19:46.820 How about the newspapers?
00:19:47.720 How about everything?
00:19:51.540 All of those other centers of power are controlled by the libs.
00:19:55.980 And they wield a lot of power.
00:19:58.100 And they wield even more dangerous power than the elected government.
00:20:01.840 Because those other forms of power are mostly unaccountable.
00:20:05.240 And because they wield a lot of economic power, he who pays the piper calls the tune.
00:20:11.520 You're seeing proof of this right now from Nancy Pelosi.
00:20:14.140 Nancy Pelosi just went on TV.
00:20:16.380 She went on NBC News.
00:20:17.720 This was after her trip to Taiwan, which many people thought created an international incident.
00:20:23.140 Because China claims Taiwan as its own.
00:20:26.260 The United States traditionally has not acknowledged Taiwan as belonging really to China.
00:20:31.260 China, Pelosi flies to Taiwan as China is threatening essentially to launch World War III if Pelosi
00:20:36.900 goes to China, playing war games out all around Taiwan while she's there.
00:20:41.600 And then she goes on TV, asked about the trip.
00:20:44.640 And she says, what are you talking about?
00:20:46.060 I don't think Taiwan's a real country.
00:20:48.200 We still support the one China policy.
00:20:51.020 We go there to acknowledge the status quo is what our policy is.
00:20:56.220 There was nothing disruptive about that.
00:20:58.480 It was only about saying China is one of the freest societies in the world.
00:21:05.700 Don't take it from me.
00:21:06.780 That's from Freedom House.
00:21:08.360 Let's talk a little bit.
00:21:09.340 It's a strong democracy, courageous people.
00:21:12.080 And it's just, I don't know why it is, except there's some commercial interests who would like
00:21:18.260 to diminish the relationship.
00:21:21.920 China is one of the freest societies in the world?
00:21:26.480 What?
00:21:27.080 China is a flourishing democracy?
00:21:31.420 What?
00:21:32.000 I guess you could sort of say that about Taiwan.
00:21:34.120 But Pelosi is saying Taiwan is part of China.
00:21:36.920 I hope she was just getting confused here, but I'm not sure that she was because the Democrats
00:21:40.780 have been carrying water for China for a very long time.
00:21:43.640 Pelosi says, we support the one China policy.
00:21:46.580 And this is very confusing because the one China policy means different things to different
00:21:51.160 people.
00:21:51.460 The one China policy is a policy created by China, which says, we own Taiwan.
00:21:57.720 Now, in 1972, I believe it was, the United States also used this phrase.
00:22:03.180 We say, we acknowledge the one China policy, but we didn't acknowledge that Taiwan belongs
00:22:08.860 to China.
00:22:09.540 We continue to support Taiwan in an ambiguous way.
00:22:13.460 Do we support Taiwan independence?
00:22:15.400 Well, not exactly explicitly.
00:22:17.200 Do we support China's claims that it owns Taiwan?
00:22:19.700 No, we certainly don't do that.
00:22:21.240 So it's very unclear.
00:22:23.020 China says, we have the one China policy.
00:22:25.040 America says, yeah, yeah.
00:22:25.920 No, we totally acknowledge the one China policy, but then we use that phrase to mean different
00:22:32.040 things.
00:22:33.160 It gets even more confusing because pretty much every presidential administration has held
00:22:37.480 a different view on the one China policy.
00:22:40.160 And sometimes there have been different views even during the same administration.
00:22:43.260 Donald Trump held the view basically that Taiwan is a totally separate entity at the first
00:22:48.920 part of his administration.
00:22:49.820 Then by the second part, he kind of loosened up a little bit on it and acceded more to
00:22:54.120 China's claims over Taiwan.
00:22:56.360 Now Biden is much more pro-China.
00:22:58.880 It's a complete mess.
00:23:01.220 So why?
00:23:01.940 Why the shifts?
00:23:03.320 And why is Pelosi not just implicitly acknowledging China's claims on Taiwan, but why is Pelosi going
00:23:11.240 so much further to say China, this communist slave state, that China is one of the freest
00:23:17.300 countries in the world?
00:23:18.080 Because he who pays the piper calls the tune, because the Democrats in particular are owned
00:23:23.940 by China, and because the United States is in large part owned by China.
00:23:27.040 China owns a trillion dollars of our debt.
00:23:29.680 China manufactures all our stuff.
00:23:32.960 China holds a lot of natural resources that we need, increasingly that we're going to need,
00:23:37.740 especially as we kill the American energy industry.
00:23:40.420 It's as we commit American energy suicide because of the Democrats' environmentalist fantasies.
00:23:45.880 Then we can't afford to oppose China.
00:23:51.700 He who pays the piper calls the tune.
00:23:55.300 Speaking of money behind politicians, you know, one of the biggest funders on the left
00:24:00.900 is George Soros.
00:24:02.700 George Soros is this crazy, radical, lib financier, and he's funded all sorts of terrible left-wing
00:24:10.020 candidates.
00:24:10.600 And right now, in particular, he's funding prosecutors all across America who don't prosecute
00:24:17.420 crime.
00:24:18.800 They're prosecutors who are installed at dear cost to George Soros who will let the criminals
00:24:26.040 off the hook, and this is leading to spikes in crime all over the place.
00:24:29.660 One of those prosecutors in particular is Steve Descano.
00:24:33.700 He's in Fairfax County in Virginia.
00:24:36.500 And Steve Descano is very, very upset because an official in the Yunkin administration called
00:24:45.540 him out for being on the payroll of George Soros.
00:24:48.160 Mike Cleary says, well, criticize Soros-funded prosecutors.
00:24:54.660 What's your reaction to that?
00:24:56.940 Well, I think that that is an unfortunate way to frame this because when we are trying to
00:25:01.780 have a discussion about a substantive matter, especially about crime like you and I are having
00:25:05.940 right now, Nick, for one party to go and immediately get off topic and bring up George Soros is unfortunately
00:25:13.680 a tried-and-true anti-Semitic trope that has been used in this country decade over decade
00:25:20.440 after decade.
00:25:21.380 When we're trying to talk about crime and one party to that conversation immediately goes
00:25:25.860 to a conspiracy about a shadowy cabal of foreigners who are pulling strings to destroy American
00:25:32.700 culture, that is not a good-faith argument.
00:25:35.820 It's anti-Semitic.
00:25:36.980 It's anti-Semitic.
00:25:38.240 It's a conspiracy theory.
00:25:39.680 George Soros isn't funding anybody.
00:25:41.600 He's not funding these radical prosecutors like me, except, wait a second, I've got here
00:25:46.580 a column from the Wall Street Journal from about a week ago.
00:25:51.960 It says, why I support reform prosecutors by George Soros.
00:25:57.160 There he is.
00:25:58.020 No, no, that's an anti-Semitic hate fact.
00:26:01.240 Pay no attention to the man writing in the newspaper whose name is actually George Soros, and it gets
00:26:06.940 a lot worse for this guy, Descano.
00:26:09.100 First, though, for years, we've been told that above all else, we must trust the science,
00:26:16.460 believe in the science, which is me, you dirty, rotten sheep.
00:26:19.900 Yet, when it comes to presenting any evidence to support the safety of children taking experimental
00:26:26.600 puberty blockers to treat gender dysphoria, activists shrug.
00:26:30.360 What do they say?
00:26:30.820 They say, science, we don't need no stinking science.
00:26:33.280 Let's just shoot those kids full of those drugs.
00:26:36.420 The only thing more appalling than the left's hypocrisy is their willingness to sacrifice
00:26:42.000 children at the altar of transgenderism.
00:26:45.420 No film does a better job of exposing the danger, hypocrisy, and lunacy of the trans cult
00:26:49.780 than Matt Walsh's What is a Woman?
00:26:52.100 It's already one of the most talked about movies of the year.
00:26:54.180 Its impact is continuing to be understood and spread.
00:26:58.620 Help us keep the momentum going by watching and sharing What is a Woman at whatisawoman.com.
00:27:03.820 That is whatisawoman.com.
00:27:06.600 Head on over there today.
00:27:08.060 George Soros himself in a major newspaper comes out and says, I am funding radical left-wing
00:27:18.440 prosecutors who are not enforcing the law, who are not prosecuting the criminals.
00:27:22.920 And one of those prosecutors, Steve Descano, gets called out by a Yunkin official named Maggie
00:27:28.640 Cleary, who coincidentally actually is a friend of mine going back to college.
00:27:31.660 I'm watching this clip and it's this usual rigmarole.
00:27:34.880 Oh, yeah, it's anti-Semitic, it's fake, it's fake news, it's a conspiracy, move along.
00:27:39.080 And he mentions Maggie Cleary.
00:27:40.260 I said, I know Maggie Cleary.
00:27:41.460 She's great.
00:27:42.060 She's terrific, totally mainstream Republican, great hire for Glenn Youngkin.
00:27:46.420 And what did she say?
00:27:47.620 She just said a fact.
00:27:49.300 She said, George Soros is bankrolling these guys.
00:27:51.940 And these guys are destroying law and order in our communities all around the country.
00:27:57.060 And they're leading to big spikes in crime, especially this guy, Steve Descano.
00:28:01.100 He's one of the worst.
00:28:02.280 He's one of the worst of these liberal prosecutors.
00:28:06.220 And by the way, he's not just funded sort of indirectly by George Soros and because Soros
00:28:13.340 is funding this movement and other people are funding him.
00:28:15.360 This guy took at least $50,000 directly from George Soros.
00:28:19.540 Through the Virginia Justice and Public Safety PAC, Steve Descano took at least 50 grand.
00:28:25.680 It was probably more than that.
00:28:26.820 The Justice and Public Safety PACs are the mechanism through which George Soros funds these prosecutors.
00:28:33.880 Soros, in the last 10 years, do you know how much he's spent on just the prosecutors?
00:28:38.740 Just these DAs, just these little prosecutors.
00:28:42.080 This is just one tiny little aspect of the whole political project that Soros is engaged in.
00:28:46.860 Just here in the United States, he spends money around the world too.
00:28:49.320 $40 million, $40 million bucks on this kind of a thing.
00:28:56.340 And what has happened?
00:28:58.220 What has happened?
00:28:59.060 Well, you've got another report here, another news outlet, national desk of this news outlet
00:29:04.420 says two dozen progressive prosecutors linked to Soros money.
00:29:07.720 You saw a chase of Boudin who just got recalled up in San Francisco, led to all sorts of chaos up there.
00:29:12.340 The LA prosecutor, George Gascon, and a bunch of others as well.
00:29:16.780 What is this that we are seeing?
00:29:20.380 It's called the Celebration Parallax.
00:29:23.440 That's the name that Mike Anton, who's the author of the Flight 93 essay, he's at the Claremont Institute.
00:29:28.080 This is the name that he gives to this phenomenon, which is the Libs tell us that they are doing something.
00:29:36.460 And they're really happy about that, and they're celebrating that.
00:29:39.020 And then the conservatives just repeat back to the Libs exactly what they have been shouting and singing with glee.
00:29:46.960 And then the Libs smear the conservatives as racists and spreading fake news and conspiracy theorists.
00:29:54.380 For saying the exact same things the Libs just said.
00:29:56.400 The Libs get to say it, and it's true and wonderful and worthy of celebration.
00:29:59.980 The conservatives say exactly the same thing.
00:30:01.920 It's a horrible conspiracy theory.
00:30:03.360 They need to be deplatformed.
00:30:05.360 It's anti-Semitic.
00:30:06.360 As an anti-Semitic, to read a fact about this one guy that he admits in the newspaper.
00:30:13.060 It's not.
00:30:13.660 As Ann Coulter told me when I was in college, when a liberal calls you a racist, you know you've won the argument.
00:30:18.340 I think the liberals know that we've won the argument.
00:30:20.760 They're not even having an argument.
00:30:21.940 They're just saying you're not allowed to say the same things that we say.
00:30:24.620 The phrase celebration parallax is kind of a, it's a very fancy way of saying it.
00:30:31.060 Because a parallax is the position of the same object seen from different angles.
00:30:35.760 So you're seeing it from the liberal angle.
00:30:37.440 You're seeing it from the conservative angle.
00:30:40.540 But that is the way to understand this.
00:30:42.460 And especially when you look at the raid on Mar-a-Lago, there's no raid on Hillary Clinton.
00:30:46.160 You see they're going after Republican congressmen for in any way associating with Donald Trump.
00:30:50.480 And yet there's video evidence of Hunter Biden, Hunter Biden committing all sorts of national security endangering crimes.
00:30:56.160 They don't do anything about that.
00:30:58.400 It's a two-tiered system.
00:31:01.000 It's a, it's a, it's related to the celebration parallax.
00:31:06.180 The libs do the same thing that the conservatives, say the same thing.
00:31:10.200 I, well, I'm sorry.
00:31:11.280 I'm sorry.
00:31:11.760 I'm tongue-tied.
00:31:12.600 I'm so frustrated by this.
00:31:14.180 There's two sides to this.
00:31:15.700 The libs do the same thing the conservatives do.
00:31:17.600 It's good when the libs do it.
00:31:19.020 It's bad when the conservatives do it.
00:31:21.400 The libs say the same things the conservatives say.
00:31:23.760 It's true when the libs say it.
00:31:24.980 It's a crazy conspiracy when the conservatives say.
00:31:27.860 You're seeing this play out in New York right now.
00:31:29.440 Eric Adams is the mayor of New York City.
00:31:32.020 Eric Adams is very upset because the governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, is busing illegal aliens who are being encouraged to cross the border by the Democrats, by Joe Biden, by the libs in New York and D.C. and elsewhere.
00:31:43.780 He's busing them to New York and D.C. and all the other liberal cities.
00:31:49.040 Eric Adams is furious about that.
00:31:50.920 He says it's putting a severe strain on New York's resources.
00:31:54.420 It's horrific what's going on.
00:31:57.140 And Eric Adams says maybe he's going to bus some New Yorkers down to Texas to give Governor Abbott a piece of their mind.
00:32:02.840 I already called all of my friends in Texas and told them how to cast their vote.
00:32:09.840 And I am deeply contemplating taking a busload of New Yorkers to go to Texas and do some good old-fashioned door knocking because we have to, for the good of America, we have to get them out of office.
00:32:25.540 Why you got to get them out of office?
00:32:28.420 Why?
00:32:28.940 What is Abbott doing that is, he's sending illegal aliens to sanctuary cities?
00:32:34.060 How's that for, the good of America?
00:32:35.760 It's a sanctuary city.
00:32:37.060 The sanctuary city, the whole premise is you want the illegal aliens to come.
00:32:41.500 But you don't.
00:32:42.100 You just want to say that you want the illegal aliens to come.
00:32:45.560 You don't actually want them there.
00:32:46.860 Because you say that illegal aliens are really, really good for America and they're net contributors and they don't bring any crime and they don't bring any social problems.
00:32:54.700 And yet the minute they show up at your doorstep, all of a sudden this is horrific.
00:32:57.840 So horrific you're going to load up a bus full of New Yorkers to go down there and beat up the Texans and get them to kick Greg Abbott out of office.
00:33:04.700 Tells you everything that you need to know.
00:33:06.800 Speaking of New Yorkers whining, you know that I am really, really obsessed with the Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Skeet Davidson saga.
00:33:18.720 I am.
00:33:19.240 I don't care.
00:33:19.600 I don't really follow pop culture at all.
00:33:21.620 This story I'm really, really taken with because I think it actually cuts down to some of the core political issues in America.
00:33:30.080 And also because Kanye West is very, very funny and also because Skeet Davidson is just not very likable.
00:33:34.840 Well, there's a headline, comes out of People Magazine, Skeet Davidson is in trauma therapy because of the taunts from Kanye West.
00:33:44.300 The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for Davidson and he's had to seek out help.
00:33:51.660 Davidson has been in therapy, trauma therapy since April in large part due to his beef with Kanye West.
00:33:58.540 I'm not surprised that Pete Davidson is in therapy.
00:34:01.640 Pete Davidson probably should be in therapy.
00:34:05.220 He's had kind of a difficult life.
00:34:06.800 His dad famously died in 9-11 sort of heroically.
00:34:11.180 I think he was a New York firefighter.
00:34:12.400 He goes in on 9-11 as a hero of that day.
00:34:14.800 And so this is when Skeet Davidson's a kid.
00:34:17.360 Obviously, that's a trauma and he's engaged in all sorts of destructive behaviors.
00:34:21.780 And now what?
00:34:22.560 Because Kanye West makes fun of him on Instagram, that's it.
00:34:25.080 That's what sends him over to the edge.
00:34:26.060 No, I'm sure the guy's got a lot of issues.
00:34:29.280 But Kanye West was absolutely right, is absolutely right, to taunt Skeet Davidson.
00:34:36.220 Skeet Davidson played a large role in breaking up Kanye West's marriage.
00:34:40.720 And that's a no-no, folks.
00:34:42.280 That's a no-no.
00:34:43.500 You don't get to do that.
00:34:45.200 Marriage is sacred and the fundamental building block of society.
00:34:48.660 And some dirty-looking SNL actor does not have the right to come in and take your wife from you.
00:34:57.280 And then he also taunted Kanye West.
00:34:58.780 He would send him pictures, apparently, while lying in bed with Kim Kardashian and say,
00:35:03.180 Oh, I'm in bed with your wife.
00:35:04.160 Ha, ha, ha.
00:35:05.540 No, you don't get to do that.
00:35:07.520 This story, the reason I'm obsessed with it, is it's about a lot more than Kanye West and Skeet Davidson and Kim Kardashian.
00:35:13.760 And yes, I'm aware all of these people have lived extremely colorful, eccentric, in many ways, not particularly virtuous lives.
00:35:22.060 But that's even more to the point.
00:35:24.000 Because while they are really wild, crazy examples of Hollywood extreme and decadence, in many ways, they're very human.
00:35:31.780 In many ways, they're representative of a lot of Americans who have kind of messy lives and have had messy love lives.
00:35:37.640 And unclear and conflicting understandings of how we ought to behave.
00:35:43.760 And they're seeing that play out.
00:35:45.100 And all I know is, through these imperfect vessels, you saw Kanye West at least trying to save his marriage.
00:35:55.520 At least saying that he wanted to save his marriage.
00:35:58.080 He was the representative of that.
00:35:59.460 And this was after he had some kind of conversion or reversion to Christianity.
00:36:03.240 And it was very public about that.
00:36:04.340 This is after he espoused some broadly conservative political views and social views.
00:36:09.260 And then you had Kim Kardashian go into a magazine and say, in my 40s, I'm just going to live for me.
00:36:14.220 And I'm just going to do whatever I want.
00:36:15.640 It's about me, me, me.
00:36:16.940 Which, she's the voice of a generation.
00:36:18.720 That's why she's so popular.
00:36:19.860 And then you had Skeet Davidson come in here and go and steal another man's wife.
00:36:23.960 So shameful.
00:36:24.960 So dishonorable.
00:36:26.580 And you think, among these three people, who am I going to pick?
00:36:29.440 I'm going to say Kanye.
00:36:30.240 Now, some people will then come out on this story and they'll say, Kanye has no right, no right whatsoever to try to save his marriage or try to attack the person who's helping to break up his marriage.
00:36:43.500 What are you talking about?
00:36:44.700 The people who say that are the ones who think marriage doesn't mean anything.
00:36:47.680 That marriage can be easily dissolved at any given time.
00:36:50.720 That it's just a kind of contract.
00:36:52.280 You can break the contract.
00:36:53.580 Well, it's a contract, except nothing about it is binding.
00:36:56.240 So it's not even a contract.
00:36:57.220 It's just two people kind of get along together for a little and then whenever you don't like each other as much anymore, you know, he didn't do the dishes last night and she's getting a little older.
00:37:06.680 And so we're just going to split it up and move on.
00:37:08.800 No, no.
00:37:09.840 That might be the lib view of marriage.
00:37:12.120 That is not the conservative view of marriage.
00:37:15.280 And the lib view says we're all individuals and can do whatever the hell we want whenever we want to do it.
00:37:19.840 The conservatives say, no, the fundamental political unit is the marriage.
00:37:22.680 And when you make that vow, you're in it, buddy.
00:37:26.100 You're stuck with it.
00:37:27.220 This was the mainstream view in America for a very, very long time.
00:37:31.620 Now that's considered extreme.
00:37:32.940 People are actually saying, they're saying, Kanye's gone too far.
00:37:35.860 Here it is.
00:37:36.240 Here's a headline from Metro.
00:37:37.500 Kanye's gone too far.
00:37:39.500 Neither his genius or his mental health are excuses.
00:37:42.500 Why?
00:37:42.820 Because he's defending his marriage.
00:37:45.480 Kanye West.
00:37:47.120 Kanye West, some years ago, put on a big giant foam suit and danced around to a song singing,
00:37:53.160 You're Such an F-ing Ho.
00:37:54.300 I love it.
00:37:54.740 Do you remember that?
00:37:55.220 You're such a f-ing ho.
00:37:58.320 When the first time they ask you, you want sparkling or still?
00:38:01.340 Are you trying to act like you was drinking sparkling water before you came out here?
00:38:03.980 You're such a f-ing.
00:38:06.440 I'm a sick f-ing.
00:38:07.440 I like a quick f-ing.
00:38:08.680 I'm a sick f-ing.
00:38:09.700 I like a quick I'm a sick I like a quick I'm a sick I like a quick I'm a sick I like a quick
00:38:17.460 I like my I buy you a sick truck I buy you some new I get you the nip tuck how you start a family
00:38:23.520 the condoms slipped up I'm a sick I'm inappropriate I like hearing stories I like that
00:38:28.800 I want to hear more I like the host send me some motion you trifling hope
00:38:33.680 we had to blur out half of that song I kind of forgot when I sent the clip that we'd have to
00:38:39.500 bleep out actually half of the song that wasn't too far you're such an effing hoe I love it I like
00:38:45.280 to get my well I can't even say it I'd have to bleep out myself that's not too far remember when Kanye
00:38:50.600 West went on national TV and he said that George Bush doesn't like black people a lot of the people
00:38:56.440 that could help are at war right now fighting another way and they they've given them permission
00:39:02.200 to go down and shoot us and subtle but in even many ways more profoundly devastating is the
00:39:09.980 lasting damage to the survivors will to rebuild and remain in the area the destruction of the
00:39:14.440 spirit of the people of southern Louisiana and Mississippi may end up being the most tragic loss
00:39:18.820 of all George Bush doesn't care about black people please call in the past few days you remember that
00:39:29.960 that wasn't too far that was genius that was all an example of Kanye's eccentric genius but then Kanye
00:39:35.800 comes out and he says hey I don't want to get divorced I think marriage is a real thing and we should
00:39:40.500 stay together for the purpose of our for the sake of our children and because we took a vow and we
00:39:45.260 should take this marriage seriously and Skeet Davidson should get the hell out of my bed that's too far
00:39:50.560 that's crazy that you're defending marriage you don't think that this sort of filthy looking
00:39:56.480 New Yorker young guy should be crawling around in your bed around your house where your children
00:40:01.660 sleep you don't think that wow totally crazy there was an article in I think it was the week or
00:40:08.240 somewhere I don't know occasionally I'll get Google alerts and they were going after me because I said
00:40:13.460 that we should defend marriage and they said you know Republicans Republicans are coming for no fault
00:40:19.140 divorce next to which I say I hope so yeah you you damn right we should I don't know that we will
00:40:27.640 because so many Republicans are so squishy and useless but we certainly should go for no fault
00:40:32.240 divorce no fault divorce is insane and it's a complete aberration in American history New York did
00:40:38.660 not have no fault divorce on the books New York one of the most liberal states in the country did not
00:40:43.020 have no fault divorce on the books until 2010 no fault divorce is a very very modern invention
00:40:48.840 it really only began to be popularized in the 1960s and 70s before that you had something known
00:40:56.500 as wedlock you had something known as marriage you went out you took a vow before God most importantly
00:41:02.520 and before your spouse and before the political community and you said I'm going to stay in this
00:41:07.780 marriage forever till death do us part and if you wanted a divorce divorce has existed throughout all
00:41:14.280 of human history but it was hard it was discouraged all of the political and social and legal incentive
00:41:21.320 was to remain married and work it out and fix your marriage and then in the 70s up really up until
00:41:28.280 just some a few years ago there was this movement to say nah never mind whatever we should all just get
00:41:34.260 divorced and be single and live for ourselves and do whatever we want the minute the going gets tough
00:41:38.680 we should just cut and run and you know it's going to screw over our kids and it's going to traumatize
00:41:42.740 a lot of people and it's going to cause complete disorder in our country because if you if effectively
00:41:47.840 abolish the the fundamental political institution you necessarily are causing a massive amount of
00:41:54.580 disorder but whatever love is love the heart wants what the heart wants whatever it's too hard you can't
00:42:00.820 make me do anything choice choice choice individual autonomy above all else of course at a conservative
00:42:09.640 at the bare minimum must oppose no false divorce no fault people blame gay marriage people blame
00:42:19.800 the hookup culture people blame all sorts of things for our social uh disarray that we find ourselves in
00:42:25.600 and all those things have contributed to it no fault divorce might be the biggest cause it's certainly
00:42:32.300 up there i mean no fault is a major issue republicans are coming for no fault divorce uh-huh yeah i hope so
00:42:39.060 or the republicans aren't worth their salt speaking of going too far andrew cuomo you remember him
00:42:48.840 the disgraced former governor of new york big democrat he was being talked about as a potential democrat
00:42:54.660 presidential candidate he was thrown out ostensibly for a sex scandal but it wasn't really for a sex
00:43:00.680 scandal he was thrown out because he he lied about numbers during covid he hid covid deaths from the
00:43:08.020 federal government he was the absolutely the worst governor in terms of how to actually handle the
00:43:13.920 health of the population during covid and he was brought on cnn constantly by his brother who was then a
00:43:20.560 cnn host talking about what a great job he did so he got he got run out of town but he's a big lib i mean he has
00:43:24.720 got liberal bona fides he came out after the mar-a-lago raid he said doj must immediately explain the reason
00:43:31.700 for its raid and it must be more than a search for inconsequential archives or it will be viewed as a
00:43:36.820 political tactic and undermine any future credible investigation and legitimacy of january 6th
00:43:42.560 investigations yeah that's true they've gone too far for andrew cuomo joe biden who we were told he's
00:43:51.540 the moderate he's the reasonable one good old uncle joe has gone too far in the radical left power hungry
00:43:59.860 direction even for andrew cuomo i love how at the end he says this will undermine the legitimacy of the
00:44:06.460 january 6th investigations yeah think that ship has sailed when they wouldn't let any actual
00:44:12.220 republicans on the committee i'm pretty sure that ship sailed when they let blm off the hook for eight
00:44:16.960 months for burning down and raping and killing and pillaging and burning they let those guys off with a
00:44:21.420 slap on the wrist at most but then they throw the grandmother you know who's standing around the
00:44:25.500 capitol rotunda they throw her in solitary confinement i think that the legitimacy of the january 6th
00:44:31.880 proceedings and investigations that went out the window but cuomo knows from an optics perspective
00:44:36.320 this is really not great this really does not look good for democrats speaking of new york and going too
00:44:44.260 far this is a story i had meant to get to last week i have to get to it now drag queen story hour begins in
00:44:51.780 the in the libraries and the real conservatives object to this and the squishes go along with the
00:44:58.160 liberals and they say no i'll let it go into the libraries don't worry it's not like it's in the
00:45:02.160 schools or anything what happens next what happens next the drag queen story hour goes into the schools
00:45:07.660 and the conservatives oppose it they say we're slipping down the slippery slope and then what
00:45:13.060 what happens the libs and the squishes they say no it's fine viewpoint neutrality everyone has the
00:45:16.960 right to do whatever they want whatever they want to do it at least it's not in the elementary
00:45:20.440 schools what happens next it goes to the elementary schools and then what's the final
00:45:23.880 plan they say look you might have moral opposition to drag queen story hour and that's look that's
00:45:29.400 your right that's your right and so that's why you know you've got your church for that you don't
00:45:33.900 have any right to impose your own moral views on the public in the public square for some reason the
00:45:39.860 libs have the right to impose their moral views in the public square but but you conservatives you don't
00:45:43.720 but you still have your churches and guess what happened you know it the drag queens have made it
00:45:50.300 to the churches her name is brita filter and she is the queen of new york there she is this is in a
00:45:59.640 really beautiful church in new york forget which one this is obviously a very prominent
00:46:04.480 episcopalian church and there you this is disgusting this is so disgusting
00:46:10.740 a dude dressed up as a chick walking down the aisle you're just waiting for lightning to strike
00:46:21.060 any second and then these these clapping seals in what was once a church getting up and clapping for
00:46:31.600 this degenerate show inside a church now this initially was erroneously reported as being a catholic
00:46:37.720 church which would be a an international scandal it's not it's an episcopalian church and the
00:46:44.040 episcopalian church has ceased to have anything even resembling a coherent theology long long ago
00:46:51.440 not sure that it ever had one but it certainly doesn't have one now i mean now they've got priestesses
00:46:55.060 and they do all sorts of crazy things that have very little to do with christianity if anything at
00:47:00.080 all so i'm not surprised but it's jarring to see because the church building it looks like a church
00:47:06.980 right it looks like a church i bet the men who built that episcopalian church even though they
00:47:12.640 were episcopalians even though which sometimes those guys were you know a little little squishy
00:47:17.440 but i bet they were serious men who seriously wanted to worship god and that's why they built
00:47:22.540 this big beautiful church and now what has happened the libs have crawled inside of it
00:47:27.440 and just eaten it out from within and taken all the christianity out of it and all the animating
00:47:32.980 spirit out of it and the essence out of it and filled it up with a bunch of drag queens and
00:47:37.460 guffawing clapping seals to cheer this on
00:47:41.280 if you wed yourself to the spirit of the age you will find yourself a widow in the next great quote
00:47:52.320 we're not really sure who first said it it was either fulton sheen or dean inge but good good churchman
00:47:59.820 fulton sheen a catholic is a bishop
00:48:04.040 initially this was being reported as a catholic high school here in new york invited me to their
00:48:09.380 pride chapel but no it turns out it was an episcopalian church that has a pride chapel
00:48:14.560 pride which goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall and i don't i don't even mean
00:48:20.380 to to be on my high horse here thank goodness this wasn't a catholic church thank goodness it wasn't a
00:48:25.620 catholic church but i bet there are a number of communities that call themselves catholic
00:48:31.340 that would be fine with this or something close to this and are only being held away from that by
00:48:38.060 the magisterium and the the weight of the catholic church for now but i bet they they want to go along
00:48:44.680 with that spirit of the age this will pass away this will be seen as a scandal in the not too distant
00:48:51.820 future and the people who participated in this will not be looked on kindly in history
00:48:57.760 and there will be a new spirit of the age and the people who stick to the true real things
00:49:03.660 the eternal things uh they they will fare a lot better than these people how did we get to this
00:49:10.720 point we got to this point because we abandoned all the other defenses because we we just left the
00:49:18.580 little individual churches on their own that's not how society works that's not how culture works
00:49:23.260 culture spreads threat you have a common culture that's not how politics works politics is in common
00:49:29.940 it's in the public it's how we all interact together this is this is the fruit of an idiotic
00:49:36.240 kind of individualist sloganeering that we've had in recent decades do you do whatever you want it has
00:49:42.260 no effect on me just that's fine you want to have drag queen parades in your school or your church or
00:49:47.380 you're that's fine and we can't impose our views to kick the drag queens out of the public square
00:49:51.780 this is the fruit of that idiotic ahistorical incoherent kind of thinking no of course it does
00:50:00.040 this is bad we have the right as a community to say no to this we have the right to suppress this
00:50:06.880 we have the right to stop these guffawing seals from bringing the drag queens all around the public
00:50:13.880 square and frankly we have a responsibility to do that the way that power works is power tends to
00:50:20.880 flow to the people who are willing to exercise the power and this is why the liberals are all there's
00:50:28.520 much more to be said about this but this is why the liberals when whenever they create an image of a
00:50:32.220 conservative in popular culture they try to do so in a kind of libertarian way they do think of ron
00:50:37.840 swanson is the greatest example in parks and rec he's the conservative character he's really kind of
00:50:41.780 like a libertarian and the reason they do this and the reason the libs are always pushing this idea
00:50:45.540 that the the right is libertarian is because it benefits the right the left to have an opponent
00:50:51.340 that doesn't want to wield political power because they know that if their opponents aren't going to
00:50:55.760 wield political power then they the libs will have the opportunity to do that it has led us to this
00:51:01.480 place where now you've seen a massive power grab so massive that joe biden is raiding the home of his
00:51:06.780 predecessor and political opponent are we going to wield political power again no the squishes tell
00:51:11.640 us wait and see let it play out let's just see how it goes we don't have the right we don't want to
00:51:15.160 jump to conclusions i've reached my conclusions i should hope you have too now that means it's time
