00:00:35.700 Good Ranchers, American meat delivered.

00:00:37.680 In January of 2016, Donald Trump joked that he could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot someone, and he wouldn't lose any voters.

00:00:45.960 And we all laughed at the time.

00:00:47.860 And after yesterday's kangaroo court banana republic Soviet show trial perp walk of a former president and current leader of the political opposition, I'm pretty much there.

00:01:01.560 I'm pretty much there.

00:01:03.260 As we all expected, the Libs in New York have finally crossed the Rubicon.

00:01:07.520 I know I'm mixing metaphors.

00:01:08.780 I don't care.

00:01:09.760 The Libs finally made good on their threats to arrest Donald Trump.

00:01:13.180 And that wasn't even the craziest part.

00:01:15.020 The craziest part of the 34-count indictment is that they still haven't told us what they are prosecuting him for.

00:01:25.140 Because the case against Trump is not actually about any alleged hush money payment to Stormy Daniels or whatever.

00:01:34.780 If that were the issue, which in this case I don't think would even rise to the level of a misdemeanor.

00:01:39.460 But even if it did, if that were the issue, the New York DA would not have been able to bring any charges because the statute of limitations ran out years ago.

00:01:50.680 The legal case for arresting Donald Trump rests entirely on elevating that possible misdemeanor to a felony.

00:02:00.560 And the only way the prosecution could possibly make that argument is by tying the alleged hush money payment to some other crime.

00:02:09.620 So we were all waiting yesterday to find out what that other crime was.

00:02:13.900 And the craziest part is that even after the perp walk, even after the arraignment, even after the release of the statements of facts in the case,

00:02:24.880 the prosecution still has not said what the supposed crime was.

00:02:31.000 From a legal perspective, the whole thing is just a complete farce.

00:02:35.740 And the Democrats know that, which is why they aren't putting all their anti-Trump eggs in one basket.

00:02:40.800 How many more metaphors can I use?

00:02:42.700 The Democrats seem to be anticipating that the New York case is likely to fail.

00:02:47.380 So they're moving full steam ahead on investigating Trump for keeping some documents in his home,

00:02:52.860 a supposed crime that Joe Biden has just in the last few months been caught committing 10 times over, whatever Trump did.

00:02:58.840 Of course, without a prosecution.

00:03:00.580 And if that investigation fails to get him, the libs are trying to prosecute Trump in Georgia

00:03:04.740 for calling the Secretary of State after the 2020 election and complaining about apparent fraud.

00:03:09.860 Every case they are currently bringing is so transparently absurd, just like every case they've tried to bring for eight years,

00:03:19.760 from Russiagate to Ukrainegate to Insurrectiongate, all of which went precisely nowhere.

00:03:27.240 It's all just so patently absurd.

00:03:29.480 I think they've proven Trump's 2016 prophecy right.

00:03:34.660 Because these boys have cried wolf so many times, that's one last metaphor.

00:03:39.220 They've cried wolf so many times that I think at this point, 0.96

00:03:43.000 Trump probably could shoot a guy on Fifth Avenue in broad daylight.

00:03:47.060 And the reasonable response would be to assume the Democrats just pulled yet another optical illusion. 0.94

00:03:54.720 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:03:55.440 This is the Michael Knowles Show.

00:03:56.220 Welcome back to the show.

00:04:05.480 In just a moment, we will get to Marjorie Taylor Greene, Republican member of Congress, 0.95

00:04:10.300 calling the Democrats the party of pedos. 0.96

00:04:13.040 She said it. 0.98

00:04:13.820 Many people were thinking it, but she said it.

00:04:15.240 We'll get to that in one second.

00:04:16.120 First, though, on this case, it's not just Trump defending himself.

00:04:21.360 It's not just the Trumpers defending him.

00:04:24.380 Even CNN is admitting that this legal case that D.A. Alvin Bragg brought out is very weak.

00:04:33.840 How strong this case may be or may not be, your reaction now that you've had a chance to go through it,

00:04:40.580 is it what you thought it was going to be, and are you unimpressed?

00:04:46.500 It is what I thought it was going to be in terms of focusing on the payments that were made,

00:04:53.940 the falsification of the records, and really tied to the payment that was made to Stormy Daniels.

00:05:00.580 In terms of a case that's being brought against a former president, it's a little underwhelming.

00:05:08.220 There's not more to it.

00:05:11.740 There's not more violations, tax violations.

00:05:15.920 There's not an incredible new set of facts that we didn't know about publicly.

00:05:20.840 It's really the facts of this case as they have existed for basically almost seven years.

00:05:26.880 It's a little underwhelming, says CNN.

00:05:31.220 Of course they have to.

00:05:32.540 It's preposterous.

00:05:34.480 They don't even tell you what the charge is.

00:05:38.080 The crime on which the felony hinges, on which bringing the case at all hinges,

00:05:43.800 they don't tell you what that crime is because there isn't one.

00:05:47.780 So it's a joke.

00:05:49.000 Legally, it's a joke.

00:05:50.840 But this is not the end.

00:05:52.440 Let's say that this gets laughed out of a courtroom.

00:05:54.220 Finally, the judge comes to his senses, even though it's kind of an anti-Trump judge.

00:05:58.380 We'll get to that in a moment, too.

00:05:59.640 Let's say it gets laughed out of the courtroom eventually.

00:06:02.380 Well, they're just going to try him in D.C.

00:06:05.080 They're going to get that special counsel to go after Trump in D.C.

00:06:09.840 for all of his alleged misdeeds.

00:06:13.940 Then they're going to try to get the Georgia prosecutors to go after him there

00:06:18.640 for all of his alleged misdeeds down there.

00:06:20.860 And it's never going to end.

00:06:22.140 What are they going after him for out of D.C.?

00:06:26.360 Well, he had classified documents at his home.

00:06:30.220 But he was president of the United States.

00:06:31.720 He had the ability to declassify any documents he wanted simply by thinking it so.

00:06:36.000 It's not like he had to go through any formal process.

00:06:39.160 And Joe Biden had many documents at many locations from the time he was vice president

00:06:44.960 when he didn't have the authority to declassify documents at a whim.

00:06:48.160 So whatever crime Trump allegedly committed, Biden committed it 10 times over.

00:06:54.540 Well, they say, okay, well, no, the crime isn't that Trump took the documents.

00:06:58.380 The crime is that Trump obstructed justice because he was trying to stop them from getting the documents.

00:07:04.260 We know that's not true.

00:07:05.300 We know that Trump was working with the National Archives.

00:07:07.640 We have paperwork to that effect.

00:07:09.420 When the National Archives said, okay, Mr. President, well, can you just put another lock on the door?

00:07:14.220 That's what they said.

00:07:14.680 He said, I'm storing these documents in a very secure location.

00:07:17.300 And they knew where the location was.

00:07:18.940 They saw the documents.

00:07:19.880 And they said, okay, just put another lock on the door.

00:07:21.580 So that's legally a joke.

00:07:24.160 And then what?

00:07:24.800 They're going to get him in Georgia because he called the Secretary of State and said there are shenanigans in the 2020 election,

00:07:29.360 which we all know.

00:07:31.740 We all know that the Democrats changed all the election rules right before the election.

00:07:35.940 We all know that when it looked like Trump was going to win, they stopped counting the votes in the middle of the night.

00:07:40.220 We all know there are shenanigans in every election.

00:07:42.780 And 2020 was particularly egregious.

00:07:46.800 We've heard the phone call.

00:07:47.980 Trump calls it a perfect phone call.

00:07:49.280 I'm not saying it's the perfect phone call of all time.

00:07:51.040 But you've heard the phone call.

00:07:53.340 We're going to put a former president and the political opposition leader in an orange jumpsuit for that phone call.

00:07:58.180 Give me a break.

00:07:59.360 So what's their hope?

00:08:00.560 What are they doing?

00:08:02.140 It's just spaghetti at the wall.

00:08:04.060 It's the same thing they did with the Mueller probe.

00:08:06.100 It's the same thing they did with Ukraine gate.

00:08:08.660 It's the same thing they do with everything.

00:08:10.160 They're just trying to muddy it all up.

00:08:12.460 They're just trying to slow down Trump's campaign.

00:08:14.760 And the only conviction that they're really hoping for is a conviction in the court of public opinion, which appears to be working.

00:08:20.640 There's a CNN poll, so take it with a grain of salt, that shows that 60% of Americans support Trump's indictment.

00:08:26.760 94% of Democrats, of course.

00:08:30.380 62% of independents.

00:08:32.700 And 21% of Republicans.

00:08:35.820 That's all the squishes.

00:08:37.060 Every single squish in America, as a Republican, supports Trump's indictment. 0.82

00:08:40.900 So it's over roughly two-thirds of those adults surveyed said they support the decision to indict Trump.

00:08:49.020 But the trick of this poll is the poll was taken before we knew what Trump was being indicted for.

00:08:58.060 The poll was taken before the statement of facts came out.

00:09:01.480 So 60% of Americans said they supported Trump's indictment without knowing what he did.

00:09:06.000 Which is what Nancy Pelosi insinuated last week when she said, listen, Donald Trump will have the opportunity in court to prove his innocence.

00:09:19.300 Is that the way our justice system is supposed to work? 0.99

00:09:22.360 You are guilty until proven innocent.

00:09:24.980 Men are women. 0.98

00:09:26.460 Babies aren't people.

00:09:28.840 Foreigners are Americans.

00:09:29.880 Americans and you're guilty until proven innocent. 0.87

00:09:32.080 That's the world according to the libs.

00:10:46.020 So we can laugh at all of these Democrat plots and schemes, and we can say it's just as ridiculous as Russiagate and Ukrainegate and the Stormy Daniels thing, which they're resurrecting on no basis, and the phone call, and he stored some documents like every other president does.

00:11:02.300 And we can all laugh at that.

00:11:04.340 But what is the cumulative effect?

00:11:06.060 Even if not one single one of these schemes works to take down Trump, they always tell us the walls are closing in, this is the end of Trump, we've got him now.

00:11:16.980 Well, even if not one of them is plausible or can stand on its own, what happens when you just throw all that spaghetti at the wall?

00:11:24.720 Well, what they're hoping for is you can convince a majority of Americans that he's guilty without them even knowing what the crime is.

00:11:31.940 And what they're hoping for is that they can convince the top dollar Republican donors not to donate to Trump's presidential campaign because they are not going to allow him to mount a serious presidential campaign.

00:11:44.800 If he starts doing too well in the polls, they'll put him in an orange jumpsuit.

00:11:47.860 They'll lock him up.

00:11:48.940 That's what they're trying to do.

00:11:51.360 Now, speaking of fake news, we saw yesterday a master class in the anatomy of a fake news story.

00:11:58.080 And it was around this Trump arraignment.

00:12:00.800 As Trump is being arraigned, Trump's son, Don Jr., posts a news story to social media.

00:12:08.980 This is a published news story about how the daughter of the judge in the Trump case was an employee of the Biden-Harris campaign.

00:12:20.700 Seems relevant.

00:12:22.520 Not saying it means the judge has to recuse himself, but it seems relevant to the case.

00:12:28.560 That was the first part.

00:12:29.780 Next part.

00:12:31.900 Joyce Aileen, who is some MSNBC talking head lady, she said Donald Trump Jr. has posted a picture of the judge's daughter on Truth Social.

00:12:46.420 Posted a picture?

00:12:47.120 Wait, what?

00:12:47.560 What are you talking about?

00:12:48.100 And then AOC tweets out, because nothing says innocent, like threatening a judge's family.

00:12:56.560 Threatening a judge's family?

00:12:57.480 Wait, what?

00:12:58.060 Oh, what did Don Jr. do?

00:12:59.140 I gotta go back.

00:12:59.900 Now I'm getting confused a little bit.

00:13:01.320 What is it that Don Jr. posted a news article that was reported in multiple outlets to social media?

00:13:14.260 Well, he posted a picture of the judge.

00:13:16.400 No, he posted a news article, and I guess the news article had a picture of her.

00:13:19.160 But a lot of news articles have pictures of this woman. 0.92

00:13:22.020 When we say judge's daughter, we're not talking about a seven-year-old kid here.

00:13:24.520 We're talking about a 30-something-year-old Democrat operative who is a well-known Democrat operative who was highlighted in Campaigns and Elections magazine.

00:13:32.300 That's the trade magazine of political consultants.

00:13:36.400 She was picked in that magazine as a rising star.

00:13:38.680 And somehow posting a news article on a major website becomes Trump is threatening the judge's family.

00:13:50.140 Hey, I'm all for keeping the kids out of these political things.

00:13:54.120 But the daughter is a political professional who works for Biden-Harris, who has worked for Biden-Harris, and for lots of other Democrat campaigns.

00:14:02.720 And that's the fake news story.

00:14:04.000 And now, what the people are going to walk away from, the low-information voters who don't pay close attention to the news, who believe that CNN is a real news channel, they're going to walk away and they'll say, oh, wow, that Trump, that mobster, he's threatening judge's daughters.

00:14:19.040 It's the same thing that happened to me at CPAC a month ago.

00:14:22.580 When I went to CPAC and I said, transgenderism, the whole preposterous ideology has to be eradicated from public life, especially for the good of the people who have fallen prey to it. 1.00

00:14:30.920 And then what's the headline? 0.97

00:14:32.540 Knowles calls to eradicate transgender people. 0.98

00:14:34.760 And then what does the White House say? 0.99

00:14:36.620 This conservative speaker, he just came out, he said he wants to eradicate people.

00:14:40.340 And then what happens? 0.53

00:14:42.000 A bunch of disingenuous, cynical, political hacks, and a bunch of sincere, low-information voters who believe what they hear from the news and the press secretary of the president of the United States.

00:14:53.420 They conclude that yours truly, moi, whom everybody loves so, called to genocide people. 0.96

00:14:59.520 And that's what sticks in people's minds.

00:15:01.680 This is the anatomy of a fake news story.

00:15:04.060 And it is what Trump has dealt with every single second of his political career.

00:15:10.680 And that's how 60% of Americans say the guy ought to be indicted before we even know what he's accused of doing.

00:15:17.620 Now, there was a funny coda to the arraignment yesterday.

00:15:19.980 This was just a great little happy coincidence.

00:15:23.140 As the libs in New York are persecuting this man over nothing, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, just hours after the arraignment, ordered Stormy Daniels to pay Donald Trump almost $122,000 in attorney fees.

00:15:41.880 On top of the roughly half million dollars that she already owes him for bringing a frivolous suit against Trump.

00:15:49.940 So, as we're being told, we have to break the entire political tradition of the United States to arrest a former president, current leader of the opposition, over not just the hush money payments, because that crime doesn't rise to the right level, but some other unnamed crime that has something to do with that.

00:16:08.540 But as that's all going down in New York, totally unprecedented, hurling us into Banana Republic territory.

00:16:15.160 The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals says, oh, by the way, Stormy Daniels, you owe Trump money for lying.

00:16:21.540 So what is Trump doing?

00:16:22.900 Trump, he's arraigned in New York, he flies back to Mar-a-Lago, and he goes on the offense.

00:16:27.260 This is where we are right now.

00:16:30.140 I have a Trump-hating judge with a Trump-hating wife and family whose daughter worked for Kamala Harris.

00:16:38.540 And now receives money from the Biden-Harris campaign, and a lot of men.

00:16:44.060 We recently had another trial, and the same judge told the fine man who worked for me for many, many years,

00:16:51.140 that if you admit your guilt, you will be in jail for 90 days.

00:16:57.020 But if you don't, if we go through a trial and you're found guilty, you're going away for 10 years and maybe longer.

00:17:05.000 Which, for a 75-year-old man with a great family, really means life.

00:17:13.580 What the prosecutors and judge did to that man, I will never forget.

00:17:18.800 Because it's right out of the old Soviet Union. 0.84

00:17:21.440 That's where we are.

00:17:22.620 It is.

00:17:23.480 It is right out of the old Soviet Union. 0.99

00:17:25.500 This is a ridiculous show trial. 0.87

00:17:27.120 There's no way Trump can get a fair trial in New York, obviously. 0.64

00:17:31.480 And so what Trump is doing here is he's going on the offense, and that's what he has to do.

00:17:35.680 What Trump has to do here is put this prosecutor and put this judge in his political crosshairs.

00:17:45.060 And what the libs are going to say is, you're calling for violence.

00:17:49.660 You're threatening these people.

00:17:52.520 No.

00:17:53.880 We're not calling for the destruction of their persons.

00:17:56.940 We're calling for the destruction of their reputation.

00:17:59.460 And Trump has to do it.

00:18:00.740 One, because they deserve it.

00:18:02.860 Two, because it's the only way that he's going to keep that mojo up.

00:18:09.800 It sounds like violence.

00:18:11.180 No, it's not violence.

00:18:11.900 Donald Trump didn't murder Jeb Bush in 2016.

00:18:14.340 Donald Trump didn't murder Marco Rubio in 2016.

00:18:17.200 Donald Trump didn't murder every other candidate on that stage.

00:18:21.380 But he destroyed their political reputations.

00:18:26.840 And Trump has to do that again.

00:18:28.780 Not just to fend off these legal challenges.

00:18:32.260 Not just to fend off the Democrats.

00:18:34.280 To fend off the other Republicans.

00:18:35.900 Because the other Republicans are going to take this opportunity to say Trump is weak.

00:18:41.740 They've got him now.

00:18:42.500 The walls are closing in.

00:18:43.880 This is our opportunity to gain some advantage here.

00:18:47.520 So even to defend his position within the Republican Party, Trump needs to remind people

00:18:52.840 what it's like to get on the wrong side of Donald Trump.

00:18:56.780 And he's doing that.

00:18:57.600 He's getting his mojo back.

00:18:58.780 That's what we want to see.

00:18:59.920 We don't want to see nice, polite Donald Trump from the campaign announcement at Mar-a-Lago,

00:19:06.360 which was a little bit of an underwhelming experience.

00:19:10.800 We want to see Donald Trump on the ground in East Palestine, Ohio, bragging about how he

00:19:17.480 bullied Joe Biden to finally pay some attention to that town.

00:19:20.080 We want to see Donald Trump going there, getting into these people's faces, getting into their

00:19:25.260 political background, and rightly destroying their political standing.

00:19:31.060 Because what they are doing is the destruction of our country, of our system of law and order.

00:19:37.200 What they are doing is thrusting us further into Banana Republic, Soviet show trial realm than I ever thought we would get in my lifetime. 0.92

00:19:47.440 This whole idea actually gave me a little bit of a tangential shock yesterday, which is that as this was happening, I said, wow, I can't believe this is really happening in America.

00:19:57.000 And I had just signed up for some of the AI programs because I'm just curious to see how good the AI programs are.

00:20:02.860 So I went to one of the AI programs and I typed in Donald Trump as the defendant in a courtroom full of kangaroos. 0.64

00:20:10.480 Something to that effect.

00:20:11.500 I typed in one or two prompts.

00:20:12.760 It was not very complicated.

00:20:13.740 And the AI spit out an amazing courtroom image, you know, in that style of drawing that you see from courtroom images of Donald Trump sitting as a defendant with a kangaroo, with a little smirk on his face, sitting there as a juror.

00:20:33.700 It's probably the most widely shared political cartoon of yesterday.

00:20:38.740 And I was able to spit it out.

00:20:40.020 I didn't spit it out at all.

00:20:40.860 I just typed it in.

00:20:41.460 It took like 30 seconds.

00:20:43.740 So, wow, that was really, really fast.

00:20:45.680 And then I came up with another even more evocative and actually somewhat disturbing political cartoon.

00:20:54.680 And it told me a lot, not just about the Trump trial, told me, not even just this political moment.

00:21:00.160 It told me a lot about what AI is about to mean for our whole society, which we'll get to in one second.

00:22:01.720 Very, very frustrating.

00:22:11.640 Promo code Knowles for 35% off your first order.

00:22:14.420 You know, there's a line of scripture that says faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

00:22:20.680 Now, you might ask, why do you need faith?

00:22:22.560 Why doesn't God just lay it all out for us on the table?

00:22:25.760 Well, novelist Greg Hurtwitz has an interesting theory about that, and he shares it with the Roundtable group of scholars in Jordan Peterson's episode 13 of Exodus.

00:22:36.140 I think if you could see God clearly, you wouldn't need faith, right?

00:22:41.680 So it's a precursor in a lot of ways to freedom.

00:22:44.260 If you could see God, it would be so undeniable.

00:22:46.820 Like, first you die, but then additionally, everything that he would say would have to be absolute, and that's a kind of authoritarianism.

00:22:54.360 And so it's like the faith of the belief is what allows the freedom to keep falling and drinking wine and picnicking and making golden calves.

00:23:01.720 And every time he's out of sight, there's a fall, and then there's a movement back again.

00:23:05.680 So you're suggesting if there wasn't a veil, everything would be so understandable to us that we could just follow it like automatons.

00:23:14.500 Right, then you're back to the pharaoh in a way.

00:23:16.600 In addition to Greg, Jordan is joined by a group of esteemed scholars, theologians, and artists, including our own Mr. Ben Shapiro, in this episode for an in-depth discussion on one of the seminal books of the Bible.

00:23:39.140 So I made this little political cartoon with a kangaroo in the court. 0.96

00:23:41.740 Okay, then I said, one of my other conclusions here is that in New York, you could indict a ham sandwich.

00:23:48.940 So I said, okay, give me a ham sandwich that looks like Trump.

00:23:53.800 Whatever I wrote, it wasn't all that much more complicated than that.

00:23:56.080 And it spits out, and if you're listening to this right now, you've got, just go online, look it up later.

00:24:02.180 It's so shocking.

00:24:03.260 It's this surreal, photorealistic image of a sandwich with a Trump face in the ham with his little pout and his blonde eyebrows.

00:24:15.560 And the eyebrows and the hair are made of Cheez Whiz.

00:24:18.840 And it's really a brilliant piece of art that this computer made.

00:24:23.640 In like a minute.

00:24:28.560 Now, this is going to put a lot of artists out of work, or it's going to radically change the nature of artists' work.

00:24:34.280 It's going to change the nature of political cartoons.

00:24:37.960 Because the first two political cartoons of this Trump arraignment, which is an historic event,

00:24:44.760 were just spit out by a computer because I was goofing around within a matter of minutes.

00:24:48.640 But this poses a real risk for society broadly.

00:24:55.360 Because the trend we have seen in society over certainly the last 30 years, but really at a much longer time scale than that,

00:25:04.480 is a trend toward atomization.

00:25:07.980 A trend away from communal activities toward individual activities.

00:25:13.600 So we don't have bowling leagues really anymore.

00:25:17.460 We don't have the Lions Club anymore.

00:25:19.660 I mean, these things exist, but people just don't participate in them as they used to.

00:25:22.520 People don't really go to their churches anymore.

00:25:24.500 People are not as involved in their communities anymore.

00:25:26.720 People don't have a ton of kids anymore.

00:25:28.840 And so they're just, people don't sit on their front porches anymore.

00:25:32.000 They're more likely to sit on their back decks.

00:25:33.680 This was a trend observed in the 70s in a famous architectural book.

00:25:37.180 So all of the movement of society is toward this individualism.

00:25:44.540 With the advent of computers, people spend a lot more time in their own little affinity groups online.

00:25:49.120 They don't spend time with their real community.

00:25:50.340 They spend time with their virtual community.

00:25:52.960 Then with the advent of all sorts of new ideologies, which percolate all around the Internet,

00:25:59.260 people begin to live according to different understandings of reality.

00:26:04.160 Most clearly you see this with the transgender idea. 0.80

00:26:06.260 In our country right now, we can't even agree on how to know things, what a human being is,

00:26:11.280 what are men, what are women.

00:26:12.340 We don't agree on that anymore.

00:26:14.540 We might occupy the same geographical area, but we are living in different realities.

00:26:18.740 Now, one of the last shared things we had was art.

00:26:23.440 And increasingly, people don't watch the same TV shows.

00:26:26.400 Now we have streaming on demand.

00:26:28.380 People don't watch the same movies.

00:26:30.840 People just watch movies streaming on demand.

00:26:33.340 And they can be tiny little movies that don't have the same box office numbers that people used to have.

00:26:38.720 Even art.

00:26:39.580 We now have art on demand.

00:26:43.180 Then it really got me thinking.

00:26:44.820 You know.

00:26:47.700 This AI stuff is in its early stages.

00:26:49.840 But you know, once they get it anywhere near a commercially viable place,

00:26:55.760 you know it's going to all be porn, right?

00:26:58.220 It's like the whole Internet. 0.75

00:26:59.640 It's just, it's all going to be porn.

00:27:01.900 And the scariest part about it is, you can then just make your own porn.

00:27:06.980 And I was talking with sweet little Elise about this last night.

00:27:10.180 That once they perfect this AI so that now you can create these, whatever images you want.

00:27:15.960 Or even video, which they're already working on.

00:27:18.340 Previously, AI was not that convincing.

00:27:20.140 It was kind of blurry.

00:27:20.840 The hands are kind of a little messed up.

00:27:22.660 But within about six months, now it's really, really good.

00:27:25.680 The hands are basically totally right.

00:27:27.840 Once they perfect the AI technology so that it spreads all over porn,

00:27:36.520 and they perfect sex robots, the human race is going to go extinct.

00:27:41.200 Because people are just, they're just going to create their own fantasies.

00:27:47.600 They're just going to increasingly live in their own fantasies.

00:27:51.660 What's crazy about this, I promise you this will happen.

00:27:55.760 People will just, because,

00:27:57.840 people are very naughty and we don't have a lot of restrictions on society.

00:28:00.520 People are going to create porn of private citizens that they know.

00:28:05.180 The girl next door.

00:28:06.360 The girl in, I don't know, the girl in math class or something.

00:28:11.180 It's going to be a huge legal challenge.

00:28:14.420 But how do you put Pandora's stuff back in her box?

00:28:19.180 I don't know how you can do that.

00:28:20.480 So the effect, I don't mean to just focus on the weird sex stuff,

00:28:23.080 which seems to dominate our politics these days.

00:28:24.760 But it's evocative because sex is so important to the human condition and it's such a motivator of our activities.

00:28:32.320 But it's true of everything.

00:28:33.620 We're just going to live in our own little safe spaces that are completely concocted within our own realities.

00:28:41.080 This is what's so troubling to conservatives about the transgender ideology.

00:28:47.520 Is there's no communicating with someone who says,

00:28:50.660 yeah, you can never know what I really believe, what I really see.

00:28:54.300 There's no objective truth that we can communicate about.

00:28:56.380 I just am whatever I say I am and you have to deal with that.

00:29:01.660 So, well, then that means that there's nothing objective and intelligible about the universe.

00:29:05.020 It means that we can't use our faculties of reason.

00:29:07.080 It means we can't govern ourselves.

00:29:09.240 It's just the total atomization of society.

00:29:13.020 I guess the reason the porn aspect of it all stuck out to me is because porn is such a perversion of the basic political institution.

00:29:22.540 Basic political institution is the marriage where you give yourself wholly to the other person 0.96

00:29:27.340 and your love is so real with your spouse that it actually creates a third person.

00:29:33.200 And porn is just the complete inversion of that.

00:29:35.860 And you see that phenomenon take place throughout every other level of society.

00:29:47.500 Speaking of sexual dysfunction, I have a story to get to on that front,

00:29:50.560 but I'm sure we'll be banned from YouTube for doing it.

00:29:52.720 So I'll have to choose my words very, very carefully.

00:29:55.520 There's a study out of Northwestern which finds, what am I allowed to say, guys?

00:30:02.700 I guess you've got to go to dailywire.com and subscribe and become a member.

00:30:05.860 So you can hear my words that won't be bleeped out.

00:30:08.240 This is a scientific study.

00:30:09.360 I'm just reading from a scientific study.

00:30:10.780 Okay, I got it right here.

00:30:13.180 It says, pre-existing mental health issues were common

00:30:19.760 and youths with these issues were more likely than those without them to have socially and medically transitioned.

00:30:30.080 Can I say that?

00:30:31.040 Parents reported that they had often felt pressured by clinicians to affirm their adolescent or young adult child's new gender

00:30:40.500 and support their transition.

00:30:42.340 According to the parents, adolescent and young adult children's mental health deteriorated considerably after social transition.

00:30:53.180 I'm just reading verbatim from this scientific study.

00:30:58.280 You can't censor me for that.

00:31:00.040 Can you?

00:31:01.060 Can you?

00:31:01.660 Maybe that's the kind of society we're living.

00:31:03.080 We're living in a society where the ruling class, where the regime arrests the leader of the opposition, the former president.

00:31:09.020 So maybe we are living in that society.

00:31:11.120 Very important study, though, because what we're told is if you don't indulge the fantasies of sexually confused people, 0.95

00:31:22.620 you're effectively killing them.

00:31:24.580 These are life-saving treatments. 0.99

00:31:26.440 When we chop off the healthy genitals of confused young people, that's saving their lives 1.00

00:31:31.880 because their mental health will deteriorate and they'll commit suicide if we don't all pretend that they're the opposite sex and we don't all live in lies. 0.99

00:31:42.780 What this study says is no, actually the opposite is true.

00:31:45.880 What this study says is what we all knew intuitively, which is that when you encourage confused and isolated people

00:31:53.900 and people who have already a somewhat tenuous grasp on reality, when you encourage them to go further into their own fantasies,

00:32:02.940 further into their own AI create-your-own-reality kind of daydreams,

00:32:08.700 their mental health doesn't improve.

00:32:10.980 It deteriorates because mental health, which is just the new euphemism that we use for sanity, reasonableness,

00:32:21.040 it hinges on our ability to perceive and understand the objective world outside of us.

00:32:31.140 Of course, you don't need a scientific study to tell you that, but we now have one,

00:32:34.260 and I promise you the lives are going to try to cover it up.

00:32:38.580 Now, we have a wonderful segment coming up tomorrow.

00:32:44.600 That would be my favorite segment of the week, the voicemail bag when I get to hear from you.

00:32:48.700 If you do not know how to submit a voicemail bag question, you go to dailywire.com, click on watch,

00:32:55.620 you scroll down to the Michael Knowles show, there she is right there, click the Michael Knowles show,

00:33:01.480 then you click the mail bag, and then it opens up a little email.

00:33:04.440 You can either write in your question, or you can record your question on your phone or on your computer.

00:33:09.480 Keep it under a minute, please, so I can play it on the show.

00:33:11.380 And then attach that file, send it in, and I will get to hear your mellifluous, dulcet tones.

00:33:20.220 That will be, I'm sorry, it's on Friday, that's not tomorrow.

00:33:22.960 It's been this whole week, man.

00:33:24.680 We're arresting presidents over here.

00:33:26.360 I'm losing track of the days.

00:33:28.060 You know, my favorite comment yesterday, whatever day that was,

00:33:30.540 is from OZE, who says, some people won't eat meat with added hormones,

00:33:36.500 but will then turn around and give actual hormones to their kids. 1.00

00:33:40.460 I know, this is the same phenomenon of liberals who are vegan,

00:33:46.540 who not only won't eat meat, they won't eat fish,

00:33:51.300 they won't even eat eggs and cheese and milk.

00:33:55.360 So worried are they for the well-being of the little chicken,

00:34:01.120 but they'll murder a baby. 1.00

00:34:03.920 They won't eat an anchovy, because that would be evil and that would be taking life, 0.99

00:34:08.180 but they'll murder a baby in the womb. 1.00

00:34:10.400 I don't mean to laugh, it's just either you laugh or cry.

00:34:13.520 It's so, so dark, and it's so completely incoherent.

00:34:18.780 That's a great point, a great way to color that with the new gender ideology. 1.00

00:34:22.040 Speaking of that ideology, Marjorie Taylor Greene.

00:34:27.000 Marjorie Taylor Greene was just on 60 Minutes with Leslie Stahl,

00:34:32.460 and Leslie Stahl thought she had a real gotcha for Marjorie Taylor Greene.

00:34:35.120 You know, Marjorie has said things that are provocative, no doubt,

00:34:41.020 but she's pretty conservative.

00:34:42.700 She's pretty clear in what she thinks.

00:34:44.540 And so Leslie Stahl thought she really had her,

00:34:46.580 and she was going to get Marjorie Greene to walk back a terrible hyperbolic line that she said. 0.98

00:34:53.160 Here's Marjorie's response.

00:34:54.880 And things she says that are over the top, like, 0.97

00:34:59.180 the Democrats are a party of pedophiles. 0.97

00:35:02.180 I would definitely say so. 1.00

00:35:04.000 They support grooming children.

00:35:06.200 They are not pedophiles.

00:35:06.900 Put a pause on, put a pause.

00:35:09.100 I just, Marjorie doesn't miss a beat.

00:35:11.580 Marjorie, you've said here, it says on this card, 0.99

00:35:16.080 that the Democrats are a party of pedophiles. 0.95

00:35:19.200 Just doesn't, she doesn't even blink. 0.97

00:35:20.320 She goes, I would definitely say that.

00:35:22.300 Yeah.

00:35:22.980 Oh, I said that.

00:35:23.620 Yeah, I would say that, because it's obviously true.

00:35:27.200 Keep going.

00:35:28.380 Why would you say that?

00:35:30.120 Democrats support, even Joe Biden, the president himself, 0.85

00:35:34.840 supports children being sexualized and having transgender surgeries. 0.99

00:35:38.960 sexualizing children is what pedophiles do to children. 1.00

00:35:43.500 Wow. 1.00

00:35:45.480 Okay.

00:35:46.640 Wow.

00:35:47.520 Oh, wow.

00:35:49.360 You, huh.

00:35:51.580 I don't have any response to that, so I'll just,

00:35:54.080 I'll just sort of roll my eyes.

00:35:56.040 Hi, wow.

00:35:57.460 So, what is Marjorie saying here?

00:36:00.380 I agree that Marjorie Taylor Greene is being about 4% hyperbolic. 0.96

00:36:07.220 I agree.

00:36:08.720 Politicians speak in hyperbole.

00:36:10.400 They use really blunt statements to get their message across,

00:36:14.000 and sometimes they're hyperbolic.

00:36:15.380 And so, sure, I'll agree with the Democrats.

00:36:17.260 Marjorie Taylor Greene is being hyperbolic here by about 3.5%. 0.96

00:36:20.900 We're not saying every Democrat wants to do weird sex stuff with kids. 0.55

00:36:28.060 But, it is undeniable that the Democrats have taken a bizarre interest, 0.97

00:36:40.020 a bizarre sexual interest in children.

00:36:44.220 And they're obsessed with it, and they never shut up about it.

00:36:48.540 Conservatives didn't start this fight.

00:36:50.720 We didn't bring up this issue.

00:36:52.520 Everything was going just fine.

00:36:53.860 It was the Democrats who said,

00:36:56.180 we need to go into the elementary schools and talk about weird sex stuff with your kids. 0.99

00:37:01.220 They said, oh, please don't do that. 0.66

00:37:02.900 Why are you so obsessed with talking about sex and kids?

00:37:06.320 No, you're the one who's obsessed with it. 0.88

00:37:07.720 You're the one who wanted to go into the kindergarten and talk about weird sex stuff.

00:37:11.380 It was the Democrats who said, we want to go into the,

00:37:13.880 I don't know why they all have the same voice.

00:37:15.180 I don't know, they all got the same kind of demonic ideas, I guess.

00:37:20.720 We want to go into the public library and walk in in stilettos and miniskirts as big hulking dudes, 0.85

00:37:28.420 and then twerk for your little toddlers. 0.99

00:37:31.440 And that's a civil right.

00:37:32.780 It's a blessing of liberty.

00:37:33.940 It's called drag queen story hour. 0.98

00:37:36.040 And then conservatives said, don't please.

00:37:39.320 How about we don't do that?

00:37:40.620 That seems weird.

00:37:41.420 Ha ha ha.

00:37:42.360 Why are you so obsessed?

00:37:43.500 No, you're obviously the one who's, you're obviously the one who's obsessed.

00:37:49.100 Democrats are the ones who are saying that teachers and guidance counselors and political activists

00:37:55.000 need to be able to convince your son that he's a girl and your daughter that she's a boy

00:38:01.320 and then start calling them by the names that are appropriate to the opposite sex

00:38:06.840 and the pronouns for the opposite sex.

00:38:09.100 And in some cases, even put them on puberty blockers or cross-sex hormones.

00:38:13.360 Start transitioning them without a parent's knowledge or consent. 1.00

00:38:20.440 It's the Democrats doing that.

00:38:22.000 And it's not just some fringe people.

00:38:23.940 It's the Assistant Secretary of Health for the Biden administration.

00:38:27.260 It's Joe Biden himself.

00:38:29.320 And the whole executive branch and the leading Democrats in the country.

00:38:32.600 They're all pushing this. 0.87

00:38:34.360 They have a weird sexual interest in children.

00:38:37.160 Whether that means they're lusting after children or whether that means they just have a really 0.98

00:38:42.260 messed up view of sex and children. 0.99

00:38:45.120 Marjorie Greene says it's a pedo party. 0.94

00:38:47.720 It's not that much of an exaggeration. 0.63

00:38:49.660 And please spare me the sermons about hyperbolic political rhetoric.

00:38:54.800 Okay.

00:38:54.900 These are the Democrats who say that anyone who disagrees with them, anybody slightly to the 0.99

00:38:58.840 right of Barack Obama, is a Nazi, is Hitler, is racist, is a white supremacist. 0.98

00:39:03.940 They say that about anybody. 1.00

00:39:04.920 They'll call black people white supremacists if they in any way diverge from the orthodoxies 0.77

00:39:10.720 of the Democrat Party. 0.91

00:39:11.480 So please spare me the lectures about hyperbole.

00:39:15.120 Marjorie Greene is being slightly hyperbolic. 0.85

00:39:18.400 But it's really weird.

00:39:21.020 You know, I wrote about this in my book, Speechless, Controlling Words, Controlling Minds,

00:39:24.400 which is available for order right now, number one national bestseller.

00:39:26.800 Thank you very much.

00:39:29.360 Back in 1969, Bernie Sanders was trying to get himself into politics.

00:39:35.020 He was mostly failing.

00:39:35.980 Obviously, it finally worked out.

00:39:37.520 But in 1969, Bernie Sanders wrote in the Vermont Freeman a weird essay about how we should sexualize

00:39:48.080 children.

00:39:48.400 He wrote, these are his exact words, quote,

00:39:50.020 In Vermont, at a state beach, a mother is reprimanded by authority for allowing her six-month-old

00:39:56.280 daughter to go about without her diapers on. 0.99

00:39:59.320 Now, if children go around naked, they are liable to see each other's sexual organs and 0.77

00:40:03.820 maybe even touch them. 0.94

00:40:05.340 Terrible thing.

00:40:06.620 If we bring children up like this, it will probably ruin the whole pornography business, 0.94

00:40:11.740 not to mention the large segment of the general economy which makes its money by playing on

00:40:16.300 people's sexual frustrations.

00:40:17.600 The revolution is coming, and it is a very beautiful revolution.

00:40:22.940 It is beautiful because in its deepest sense, it is quiet, gentle, and all-pervasive.

00:40:28.780 It knows.

00:40:29.980 So it's kind of strange prose, I give you that.

00:40:33.960 But it's an ironic piece.

00:40:37.160 He's saying, oh, you know, on a beach, a young girl is reprimanded for not having her clothes

00:40:43.960 on.

00:40:44.200 Oh, because heaven forfend she goes around without her clothes on. 1.00

00:40:47.400 Then kids might see each other's sexual organs, and maybe they'll even touch them. 0.54

00:40:50.760 Oh, that would be terrible because that would ruin the pornography business, and that would 0.95

00:40:54.640 ruin their sexual frustrations later on. 0.96

00:40:56.040 So what he's arguing is kids should be allowed to see and play with each other's sexual organs.

00:41:01.060 And this idea of the importance of sexualizing children derives from an intellectual who was

00:41:08.840 very prominent on the left, Wilhelm Reich, who, Wilhelm Reich had this thought that all

00:41:14.460 the problems of the world, political dysfunction, war, death, cancer, everything, derived from 0.70

00:41:20.660 a lack of orgasms. 0.96

00:41:22.000 I'm not joking.

00:41:22.900 I know that sounds like a punchline.

00:41:24.260 That's really what he believed.

00:41:25.200 He thought that the essence of life, the energy that animated life was something called the

00:41:33.780 orgone.

00:41:34.640 He created a device called the orgone accumulator, which was a wooden box that weirdo leftists

00:41:39.400 would sit in.

00:41:40.040 I don't know what they did in the box.

00:41:41.440 And the idea was to accumulate orgones.

00:41:43.880 And well, to put it bluntly, the more orgasms one had, the healthier one would be. 0.95

00:41:48.960 And there was a push at younger and younger ages to sexualize children. 1.00

00:41:54.720 This back in the age of Aquarius, when these people were just weirdo hippies. 0.91

00:41:58.500 Now those weirdo hippies are U.S. senators. 1.00

00:42:01.100 Now those weirdo hippies are running the country. 1.00

00:42:05.080 It's been building for a very, very long time.

00:42:09.340 And so now we see this push, not only to reduce the age of consent, now we see this push.

00:42:14.280 There's a pervert state senator in California, Scott Weiner, I think his name is.

00:42:21.100 All nature is but art unknown to thee.

00:42:23.360 And this guy, Senator Weiner, he campaigned to pass this bill that would reduce punishments

00:42:30.000 for pederasts, for grown men who engaged in sexual asks, who molested young boys.

00:42:36.540 That was something that he campaigned on.

00:42:38.620 And he won.

00:42:39.700 He got it through.

00:42:40.820 I believe I'm correct in saying that Senator Weiner also campaigned on decriminalizing

00:42:47.960 the transmission, the knowing, willful transmission of HIV to a sexual partner.

00:42:55.340 Really, really weird stuff.

00:42:57.740 But for our conversation here, especially important to note that he pushed to normalize

00:43:03.340 sex with minors. 0.99

00:43:04.960 He pushed to reduce punishments, specifically for gay sex with minors. 1.00

00:43:11.920 There's a movement for that. 0.99

00:43:13.280 And now, you know, the libs nationally are pushing not only to do weird sex stuff with 0.64

00:43:17.060 kids or lower the age of consent or reduce the penalties for having sex with minors. 0.97

00:43:20.660 They're pushing now to allow minors to permanently mutilate their sexual organs.

00:43:26.940 Not at 15 or 16 or 14, all the way down to like eight.

00:43:32.500 Okay.

00:43:33.640 That's happening right now. 0.59

00:43:34.820 And so Marjorie Greene goes on TV and says, it's a pedo party. 0.98

00:43:39.220 I don't know.

00:43:39.540 Is that so hyperbolic?

00:43:40.720 I don't think so.

00:43:42.080 Speaking of female political leaders, Finland, the newest NATO country.

00:43:50.120 Every country on earth is going to be in NATO pretty soon, just before World War III starts.

00:43:53.220 Finland just ousted its left-wing prime minister, Sanna Marin, in a narrow three-way race.

00:44:00.740 Sanna Marin, you might recall, as being the hottest world leader.

00:44:05.880 That's what she was known for, okay?

00:44:07.420 There were a lot of news articles written about it.

00:44:08.980 She was just a young, physically attractive woman.

00:44:11.200 And she would go out and party and do all sorts of weird, crazy things.

00:44:14.540 And there were videos of this.

00:44:16.140 She'd have her phone off.

00:44:17.440 She wouldn't answer government calls.

00:44:19.240 She'd be out just dancing at the club. 0.55

00:44:20.820 And this is really bizarre, especially because she is pretty young and pretty good-looking.

00:44:25.620 And now she's been ousted from power, which is a little ray of hope in an otherwise depressing news cycle.

00:44:33.740 Because the ray of hope here is not just that the right can take countries back.

00:44:37.540 Maybe we can, maybe we can't.

00:44:38.820 The hope here is people still value competence, which is a little bit of a different thing than the ideological battle.

00:44:46.940 Competence.

00:44:49.580 Can you do the basic rudimentary tasks that are required of politicians?

00:44:57.420 Can you keep the economy from imploding?

00:44:59.360 Can you keep the banking system from imploding?

00:45:01.280 Can you keep inflation from hitting 40-year highs?

00:45:03.880 Can you keep energy prices down?

00:45:06.660 Can you stop World War III from potentially opening up in Europe?

00:45:11.540 Can you stop, oh yeah, I'm listing a lot of things here that unfortunately our current commander-in-chief has not been able to do.

00:45:16.600 Which is why, of course, they're going after Trump so hard.

00:45:21.740 If they really believe, Joe Biden won by the most votes ever cast in any election ever in the history of the world.

00:45:27.660 99.7% of, a greater percentage of Americans voted for Biden than Iraqis who voted for Saddam Hussein.

00:45:35.540 That's how popular he is.

00:45:37.160 Probably it is.

00:45:38.660 If they really believe that, they wouldn't have to try to throw Trump in jail three different times on bogus charges.

00:45:43.300 And it's not just Trump, by the way.

00:45:44.520 Democrats have just dumped 500 pages of oppo research on the number two Republican candidate in the race, Ron DeSantis.

00:45:54.900 This is American Bridge 21st Century.

00:45:57.120 It's one of the largest tracking and research groups in progressive politics.

00:46:00.160 So it's not some fringe group.

00:46:01.520 It's a big one.

00:46:02.740 They just released a new website after spending the last year gathering oppo on DeSantis.

00:46:07.800 They're branding him as a MAGA extremist.

00:46:10.080 This is the same group that launched the Trump research book in 2020, which is a similarly comprehensive account of all of Donald Trump's alleged crimes.

00:46:19.060 All of which is to say a lot of people are trying to prognosticate and read crystal balls and tea leaves to say the Democrats are arresting Trump because they secretly want him to be the nominee.

00:46:26.680 It's 5D chess.

00:46:27.480 No, they are most terrified of him being the nominee.

00:46:30.120 No, they actually want DeSantis.

00:46:31.860 Actually, they want that.

00:46:32.540 Forget about that for a second.

00:46:34.660 Just focus on the basic stuff.

00:46:35.820 They know that Biden is very, very weak.

00:46:40.240 They know that this ideology is unpopular. 0.99

00:46:43.160 They know that parents don't actually want to chop their kids' genitals off. 1.00

00:46:46.940 They know that World War III is unpopular. 0.90

00:46:49.380 They know that the absolute economic destruction of just the last two years is very unpopular.

00:46:54.220 And they know that people can tell that this guy is not able to do the job.

00:46:59.260 So they fear not just Trump.

00:47:01.960 I think they fear any Republican candidate who could get the nomination.

00:47:05.940 You think they're going hard after Trump now?

00:47:07.380 It's because he's the number one candidate.

00:47:08.740 If DeSantis somehow becomes the number one candidate, they're going to go after him just as hard.

00:47:13.540 They're going to try to put him in an orange jumpsuit too.

00:47:16.200 We've got a lot coming up.

00:47:19.340 We have got a woke TikTok because this is woke Wednesday.

00:47:22.640 So make sure you stay tuned for that over at the member block at the Enolstradamus member room segmentum.

00:47:27.660 Is it the member room segmentum?
