00:00:30.260 In the wake of the Nashville shooting of Christian children by a transgender identifying killer, 0.78

00:00:35.340 the White House is doubling down on its defense of transgenderism

00:00:38.760 and is now insinuating that if you don't support transing the kids, 0.99

00:00:43.840 you are actually guilty of killing kids. 0.61

00:00:46.920 I know that these political attacks can really take toll on people's mental health.

00:00:52.840 So I want to say directly to LGBTQI plus kids, you are loved just as you are.

00:00:59.160 And if you're feeling overwhelmed, you call 988, the National Crisis Hotline,

00:01:07.200 and dial the number 3 to talk to a counselor who has been specifically trained to support LGBTQI plus kids.

00:01:15.020 This is a new service that the Biden administration is proud to offer

00:01:19.360 during these incredibly hard times for these trans kids.

00:01:23.200 The White House is telling young people to call them and then the liberals will give these young people

00:01:31.380 their views on LGBTism and tell the little boys that they're little girls and the little girls that they're little boys.

00:01:37.640 But maybe it's got decent intentions, right?

00:01:40.460 The White House, at least, is right to be concerned about the spike in the teen suicide rate.

00:01:46.180 Teen suicide has jumped 29% over the past decade.

00:01:50.340 Coincidentally, though, that is precisely the same period during which our culture and law began to affirm transgenderism.

00:01:57.120 Also, coincidentally, as the culture and law affirmed transgenderism, transgender identity among the youth skyrocketed.

00:02:05.420 Young people, teenagers and young adults now identify as transgender at more than twice,

00:02:10.260 almost three times the rate of all U.S. adults.

00:02:13.060 And I know that correlation does not imply causation, but it does raise a question.

00:02:18.120 Is it possible that all this transgender affirmation is having the opposite effect that we're told it does?

00:02:26.660 Is it possible that transgender affirmation, far from alleviating depression and suicidality, 0.97

00:02:33.080 is actually exacerbating those problems?

00:02:36.620 The first rule of medicine is first to do no harm.

00:02:40.960 If these two novel trends, transgenderism and teen suicide spikes, 0.99

00:02:45.940 have been overlapping almost perfectly,

00:02:49.020 is it possible that those two things might have something to do with one another?

00:02:54.740 Is it possible that the true cause of the spike in these particular deaths,

00:03:00.020 the spike that liberals, histrionically, have been calling a genocide,

00:03:03.420 is it possible that the driver of those deaths is not transphobia,

00:03:09.320 but transgenderism itself?

00:03:11.260 I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:03:15.940 Welcome back to the show.

00:03:21.320 We've got a lot coming up.

00:03:22.840 Huge news today.

00:03:24.040 Jack Daniels has gone trans. 0.59

00:03:26.480 Yes.

00:03:27.660 On the heels of Bud Light going trans. 1.00

00:03:30.520 Jack hasn't exactly gone trans.

00:03:32.140 It's gone drag. 0.92

00:03:33.120 But a lot of conservatives are complaining about this.

00:03:35.200 I'm not complaining, actually.

00:03:37.120 I'm reserving my ire here.

00:03:38.860 We'll get to why in just a moment.

00:03:41.020 First, though, the Biden administration cannot win for losing.

00:03:44.540 Everything that Joe Biden touches turns to ash.

00:03:47.980 And even the liberal press is noticing it.

00:03:51.380 On the—this was Thursday night, Thursday late afternoon.

00:03:56.540 There was a news dump.

00:03:59.040 And the news dump was that the Afghanistan withdrawal report is finally coming out.

00:04:05.480 This is now long overdue.

00:04:07.560 And even Ed O'Keefe at CBS News, not exactly a right-wing outlet, called out John Kirby over at the White House and said, wait a second.

00:04:15.420 Why are you dumping this report right before Good Friday, right before everyone's taking time off for Easter?

00:04:23.100 This is—you're obviously just trying to hide this.

00:04:26.240 So, John, thank you for doing this.

00:04:29.300 But I think I speak on behalf of my colleagues in this room, and we want the record to reflect.

00:04:33.980 This was sent to us about 10 minutes before the briefing began, with little notice.

00:04:39.200 And it's the very definition of a modern major holiday news dump.

00:04:42.580 We're releasing this at the beginning of the high holidays and after months of requests from Republicans and the broader public.

00:04:50.220 So, why today?

00:04:52.820 And is this all we get?

00:04:55.300 And is this a response to the studies that were done by the agencies?

00:05:00.440 Or is this considered a summary?

00:05:02.720 So, good on Ed O'Keefe for calling him out like this.

00:05:06.720 It obviously is a major holiday news dump.

00:05:09.500 And why are they doing it?

00:05:10.940 It's because the Afghanistan withdrawal was a complete debacle.

00:05:15.000 It was tragic and a huge embarrassment for the Biden administration.

00:05:18.940 And so, the only option they've got is to sweep it under the rug.

00:05:22.120 That is their best bet.

00:05:23.660 There's no other way.

00:05:24.760 Yes, it's embarrassing that they're being called out for the holiday news dump.

00:05:29.100 But it's less embarrassing than having to actually answer for this.

00:05:33.200 The Biden foreign policy has been a complete disaster.

00:05:35.860 And we've just heard about this from Russia.

00:05:38.000 Russia is now saying that the U.S. is in a hot war with Russia.

00:05:43.140 Not a cold war.

00:05:44.260 Not a new cold war.

00:05:45.480 Not a proxy war through Ukraine.

00:05:47.000 Russia is saying we're in a hot war.

00:05:48.940 They say, quote,

00:05:50.440 I think we've already passed the period of cold war.

00:05:54.000 Now we are in the phase of a hot conflict with the United States.

00:05:57.020 We are witnessing the direct involvement of that country in a hybrid war with Russia on various fronts.

00:06:01.960 The way our American opponents are recklessly, provocatively, and in many respects, absolutely carelessly moving up the escalation ladder.

00:06:09.080 The way they are blinded by their absolute, absolutely absurd certainty about their ability to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia makes one doubt their mental faculties and their common sense.

00:06:17.960 I've told you before, I'll say it again, the best kind of propaganda is the kind that's true.

00:06:24.200 And is this propaganda?

00:06:25.400 Yes.

00:06:25.660 And is it true?

00:06:26.340 Yes, it is also.

00:06:27.400 I am seriously doubting the mental faculties and common sense of my leaders here in the United States.

00:06:34.060 Obviously, our president barely knows his own name.

00:06:36.860 And you want to talk about their common sense, they don't know the difference between boys and girls and men and women.

00:06:41.040 And as pertains to this issue, our sclerotic elite is sleepwalking us into World War III. 0.99

00:06:49.240 Show me the lie here.

00:06:50.640 Show me the lie that we're in an increasingly hot war with Russia.

00:06:54.560 We are.

00:06:56.080 Yeah, that's true.

00:06:57.460 It's not a war that the American people seem very much to want, but it's a war that was forced upon us and it's been building for a very long time.

00:07:03.900 And it would be one thing if we had an agile, intelligent, serious elite that was running the country that was waging this war, but we don't.

00:07:15.000 We have Joe Biden who doesn't know what day it is.

00:07:17.020 We've got Mark Milley who wants to focus on white rage and critical race theory for his poor troops.

00:07:23.140 We've got the Admiral Levine, Assistant Secretary of Health, who says we need to trans the kids.

00:07:30.520 We've got John Kirby over there, a spokesman who is trying to cover up all the failures of the Afghanistan withdrawal from the political class.

00:07:38.440 It's just a complete joke.

00:07:40.040 And by the way, we've got Vladimir Zelensky, the leader of Ukraine, who says that Joe Biden essentially caused the war.

00:07:45.220 He has Joe Biden pulled the pressure off of Russia in the form of lifting those sanctions before he reinstituted the sanctions.

00:07:51.500 And because Joe Biden literally invited Putin to invade part of Ukraine.

00:07:55.520 He said if it's only a minor incursion into Ukraine, then it won't be that big of a deal.

00:08:00.520 And so what does Putin do?

00:08:01.860 He invades Ukraine.

00:08:02.540 And now what's happening?

00:08:03.380 We're just escalating this war mindlessly and mindlessly.

00:08:07.600 He's saying this is increasing by the day.

00:08:13.860 And it is.

00:08:14.600 Wars have started over a lot less.

00:08:17.780 Hot wars have started over a lot less.

00:08:19.200 I love, too, that Russia points out, says the absurd certainty about America's ability to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia.

00:08:26.580 It increasingly seems like an absurd certainty because we were told that those sanctions, we're going to rally the whole world.

00:08:32.040 We're going to impose those sanctions on Russia.

00:08:33.740 It was going to destroy the U.S. economy.

00:08:35.600 And what happened?

00:08:36.380 It basically boomeranged back on the United States and Europe, especially Europe.

00:08:40.360 But it hit back on the West.

00:08:42.440 We didn't cripple Russia.

00:08:43.660 We didn't end the war.

00:08:44.760 It didn't work.

00:08:45.400 I don't consider that a knock on the U.S.

00:08:49.440 And I don't consider that something to be admired about Russia.

00:08:52.920 But it's sure as hell a knock on our elite.

00:08:55.720 These guys don't know what they're doing.

00:08:58.780 And now we're trusting them to what?

00:09:01.700 To talk us down from World War III?

00:09:03.440 No way.

00:09:03.940 They're going to get us into World War III if we're not in it already.

00:09:06.420 And then do you trust them to wage World War III?

00:09:08.200 I don't.

00:09:08.640 I don't trust Joe Biden to go buy the right ice cream down the street.

00:09:11.900 I don't trust him to do anything.

00:09:14.160 And I don't trust his people to do anything either.

00:09:16.360 You know who I trust?

00:09:16.940 I trust you.

00:09:17.440 We should talk about it.

00:10:24.880 Now, Biden is completely collapsing, and so there's someone in the wings waiting to take that Democrat nomination for president in 2024 away from him.

00:10:34.240 And that person would be Governor Bateman himself, the American psycho of California, Governor Gavin Newsom.

00:10:42.820 Governor Newsom is on a nationwide tour.

00:10:47.260 Why is he on a nationwide tour?

00:10:48.580 I don't know.

00:10:49.000 He just decides he wants to see the country, you know, pack up the RV.

00:10:52.700 Yeah, maybe.

00:10:53.480 He's on a nationwide tour and just coincidentally happens to take him to Florida.

00:10:57.820 And then he's speaking at New College of Florida.

00:11:00.620 That is the college that DeSantis has gone after to impose a more serious curriculum onto.

00:11:06.360 So he can't teach the crazy woke stuff anymore.

00:11:08.820 So Gavin Newsom is taking his fight against what he calls authoritarian leaders to Ron DeSantis' backyard.

00:11:16.800 And he's going to visit the new school because Ron DeSantis gutted the diversity office of the new school.

00:11:23.400 And they're trying to have the new school teach kids things that are real.

00:11:27.080 And DeSantis is there to stick it to, or rather, Newsom is there to stick it to Ron DeSantis.

00:11:32.560 What does this tell us?

00:11:33.400 Tells us a few things.

00:11:34.220 One, tells us the word authoritarian doesn't mean anything, as I've said for a very long time.

00:11:38.340 Authoritarian is just when your political opponents do something that you don't like.

00:11:43.100 So that's authoritarian.

00:11:44.280 You're wielding your political authority.

00:11:46.060 Right.

00:11:46.360 That's what politics is.

00:11:47.380 It's about wielding authority.

00:11:48.940 And when you wield your political authority, you say that's just and wonderful and open-minded.

00:11:52.780 And when your opponent wields his political authority, that's awful and authoritarian.

00:11:56.400 So that's a meaningless word.

00:11:57.360 The other thing that Newsom is showing us here is that he's running for president.

00:12:02.440 Whether he's declared or not, he is at this moment running for president.

00:12:05.900 He's setting the stage for a campaign.

00:12:07.820 But the third thing he's showing us is he's not running for president against Joe Biden,

00:12:12.020 and he's not running for president against Donald Trump.

00:12:13.760 He's running against Ron DeSantis.

00:12:15.820 This is the shadow campaign for president.

00:12:19.020 The surface-level campaign for president is Biden versus Trump.

00:12:23.460 But the shadow campaign is Newsom versus DeSantis.

00:12:30.800 Newsom thinks that DeSantis is going to be the nominee.

00:12:33.620 He's not taking the fight to Trump.

00:12:35.180 He's taking it to DeSantis.

00:12:37.340 And it could be.

00:12:38.960 Biden and Donald Trump are relatively up there in age.

00:12:42.980 Trump seems like a young, vibrant man.

00:12:44.520 Biden does not.

00:12:45.240 But they're still both a little bit long in the tooth.

00:12:47.500 And the libs are trying to lock up Trump in three different places.

00:12:50.880 They'll try to get him in New York.

00:12:52.140 They'll try to get him in D.C.

00:12:53.000 They'll try to get him in Georgia.

00:12:54.380 And so this is the shadow campaign.

00:12:55.980 And we're still so far out that it could happen.

00:12:59.880 And so Newsom, he's running against authoritarianism.

00:13:02.520 Now, speaking of Newsom and authoritarianism, he's got a bill that he's pushing in California.

00:13:07.200 The bill would upend the tradition of locally controlled schools.

00:13:10.660 So what the bill would say is that local school districts do not have the right to kick the woke stuff out of their curricula.

00:13:18.260 The local school districts can't do that because the state is going to usurp that power and the state, the state of California, is going to enforce woke lessons, critical race theory, the weird sex stuff, all of it in the curricula.

00:13:34.020 This is as anti-freedom as it gets.

00:13:38.620 This is as authoritarian, whatever that means, as it gets.

00:13:42.600 But what the liberals would say is, no, no, no, we're defending freedom.

00:13:46.400 We're defending the freedom to trans the kids.

00:13:49.780 And what the conservatives would say is, no, no, we're defending the political freedom of local communities and taxpayers and parents to set the curricula in their schools and the way that their kids are raised.

00:13:59.280 But they're both conceptions of freedom.

00:14:02.400 Everybody thinks he's fighting for freedom.

00:14:04.780 Every single person.

00:14:05.700 Communists think they're fighting for freedom.

00:14:08.380 Totalitarians think they're fighting for freedom.

00:14:11.320 Libertarians, conservatives, traditional, everybody thinks they're fighting for freedom.

00:14:14.340 Freedom is contingent on one's understanding of the good.

00:14:21.540 That's what it's all about.

00:14:22.740 And that's why I think a lot of the political debates over freedom, no, you're anti-freedom, no, I'm pro-freedom, you're an authoritarian, all that stuff. 0.95

00:14:29.160 It's just silly.

00:14:30.260 It misses the point.

00:14:32.060 Because what freedom means is contingent on how one conceives of the good.

00:14:39.180 That's why political debates ultimately have to come down to questions of virtue.

00:14:44.340 They ultimately have to come down to questions of what is good, what is bad, who are we, why are we here, what are we after, what's the point of human life, what do we worship, what do we serve?

00:14:53.700 That's what it comes down to.

00:14:55.740 And the liberal conception of freedom is not liberty.

00:15:00.140 Traditionally understood.

00:15:01.100 The liberal conception of freedom is licentiousness.

00:15:03.420 It's the freedom to do weird sex stuff.

00:15:04.960 It's the freedom to do drugs. 0.60

00:15:06.840 It's the freedom to loaf around.

00:15:09.240 It's the freedom to daydream and have delusions.

00:15:12.200 And the right-wing conception of freedom is the freedom to do what we ought to do and the freedom to have a thriving political community and the freedom to make decisions about how your community is going to run through self-government, through school boards, through setting curricula.

00:15:25.520 That's the right-wing.

00:15:27.620 There are two totally different conceptions of freedom.

00:15:31.300 One of them happens to be a correct sense of freedom.

00:15:33.880 But they're all going to claim that.

00:15:37.120 And so enough about the piffle of, well, you're illiberal.

00:15:41.260 No, you're illiberal.

00:15:42.200 No, you're authoritarian.

00:15:43.200 No, it's just what is good?

00:15:45.200 What do we want to do?

00:15:46.300 How do we get along together?

00:15:47.540 How do we do good and avoid evil?

00:15:48.840 The basic charge of any society and of any individual.

00:15:52.620 Now, speaking of changing conceptions of the good, Disney.

00:15:56.480 Disney, they did it again.

00:15:59.380 Disney is changing the lyrics to The Little Mermaid, specifically the song Kiss the Girl.

00:16:05.240 Now, I have not seen The Little Mermaid since I was about five years old.

00:16:09.840 I don't remember anything about it, really.

00:16:12.600 And I've never read the Hans Christian Andersen book.

00:16:14.980 So all I remember, really, is that song,

00:16:19.180 You got to kiss the girl. 0.97

00:16:20.820 I don't even really remember how the tune goes.

00:16:22.660 Go on and kiss the girl. 0.98

00:16:23.880 You know that song?

00:16:24.320 So that's the song they're going to change.

00:16:27.160 And you know why they're going to change it.

00:16:29.660 You're not allowed to just kiss a girl anymore. 0.99

00:16:32.500 You're practically a rapist if you kiss a girl. 0.99

00:16:35.680 If you like a girl and you're kind of flirting with each other and then you lean in, 0.99

00:16:39.140 you know, and have a little smooch. 0.96

00:16:41.220 Well, you're not allowed to do that.

00:16:43.200 You need to get written and notarized letter of consent from her,

00:16:47.360 witnessed by three different people, signed off on by a judge.

00:16:51.280 Then maybe you can consider sending her a telegram to ask if she might be willing to kiss you.

00:16:56.800 What are the lyrics?

00:16:57.420 These are the lyrics they're going to change.

00:16:59.280 Yes, you want her.

00:17:00.960 Look at her.

00:17:01.560 You know you do.

00:17:02.620 Possible she wants you to.

00:17:03.700 There is one way to ask her.

00:17:04.980 Don't take a word, not a single word.

00:17:06.540 Go on and kiss the girl. 0.98

00:17:09.060 This is an even sillier version of the left-wing temper tantrums over Baby It's Cold Outside. 0.96

00:17:17.800 They say, oh, it's not consensual. 0.99

00:17:19.860 It's rapey. 0.93

00:17:20.760 It's coercive.

00:17:22.000 It's, no, it's romantic.

00:17:25.880 It's romantic to go up and you're, go up and you're flirting with the girl and you both kind

00:17:31.220 of like each other and you both kind of lean in a little bit.

00:17:33.520 And then what are you doing?

00:17:35.160 Smooch.

00:17:35.480 And she likes, oh, she likes to kiss you.

00:17:38.460 Or you know what?

00:17:39.060 Maybe she doesn't like you to kiss her and so she turns her head away.

00:17:42.360 And that smooch lands on the cheek and you got rejected.

00:17:44.340 Okay.

00:17:45.200 All right.

00:17:45.740 There you go.

00:17:46.080 At least you tried to kiss the girl. 0.95

00:17:47.500 The libs have lost a sense of romance.

00:17:50.660 That's why they don't get kiss the girl. 1.00

00:17:55.860 That's why they don't get, maybe it's cold outside.

00:17:58.480 The whole point of Baby It's Cold Outside is like, oh, I really shouldn't stay, but maybe

00:18:02.300 it's cold outside.

00:18:03.160 All right.

00:18:03.520 Well, maybe.

00:18:04.300 Okay.

00:18:04.740 I'll just stay for a little bit, I guess.

00:18:07.220 It's a little game of seduction.

00:18:09.100 It's a game of flirtation.

00:18:10.740 It's the woman, because she has an ideal of modesty, she wants to stay with the guy, 1.00

00:18:16.020 but she knows that she ought to be modest.

00:18:18.600 And so there's a dance that's taking place there.

00:18:22.280 And there's a much more innocent version of that even taking place in the Disney song.

00:18:26.580 But the libs have lost that because they've lost the conception of the difference between

00:18:31.160 men and women.

00:18:32.000 For the libs, everybody's the same.

00:18:33.500 For the libs, everybody's just, we're all just kind of blobs. 0.80

00:18:38.940 We're all sexless blobs.

00:18:41.500 And so you got to, this started with feminism, but that means you can't treat male-female reactions 1.00

00:18:47.340 as something special and fun and coquettish.

00:18:49.760 And no, no, no.

00:18:50.680 It's just, we're all just blobs.

00:18:52.160 So you should treat your romantic partner in the same way you treat your accountant. 1.00

00:18:56.520 It's completely ridiculous. 0.71

00:18:57.500 And you see the height of this in yesterday's great international holiday. 0.96

00:19:04.740 It was International Asexuality Day.

00:19:07.180 Did you know that?

00:19:08.120 Asexuality, which literally means you're just not sexual.

00:19:12.840 But then I saw a meme going around.

00:19:14.440 They're all these explainer memes from the sexual revolution.

00:19:17.660 And this one, it said, asexual myths.

00:19:20.020 Here are the myths. 0.99

00:19:21.320 All asexuals hate and don't want sex. 1.00

00:19:24.480 And the correction is, not all asexuals feel this way. 0.99

00:19:27.120 Okay.

00:19:28.320 Myth. 0.92

00:19:29.140 Asexuals don't want to be in relationships. 1.00

00:19:31.400 Response. 0.98

00:19:31.780 Many do with or without sex.

00:19:35.860 Not even just without sex.

00:19:36.980 With or without.

00:19:38.180 Asexuality is a choice. 0.90

00:19:39.080 Someone says, no.

00:19:39.800 You're thinking of celibacy or abstinence.

00:19:41.860 We can't stop being asexual.

00:19:44.140 But asexual means, what does it mean? 0.99

00:19:46.160 It means you either like sex or you don't like sex.

00:19:48.440 And you do want to be in a relationship or you don't want to be in a relationship. 0.62

00:19:51.240 And if you are in a relationship, it's either with sex or without sex. 0.80

00:19:53.740 And that's asexuality.

00:19:54.880 No, that's just anything.

00:20:00.000 That's just every option.

00:20:03.560 So on Asexuality Day, we celebrate everything.

00:20:09.200 But it's supposed to be really niche and special.

00:20:11.120 And the problem that the libs are running into, and the reason that there are a gazillion

00:20:15.740 genders, and the reason that we can't pin down the meaning of any particular concept 0.98

00:20:20.580 anymore, is because if everything means everything, then nothing means anything.

00:20:28.420 If everything means everything, then nothing means anything.

00:20:32.600 If anybody can be a woman, then woman doesn't mean anything. 0.99

00:20:37.640 If anybody can be an American, American doesn't mean anything. 0.68

00:20:43.120 If anybody can be asexual, then asexual, asexual actually does not mean anything.

00:22:01.800 My favorite comment yesterday is from ASMR Conservative, who says,

00:22:06.820 the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome.

00:22:11.360 An alternate definition is Democrat.

00:22:14.200 You know, it's a little bit of an on-the-nose joke.

00:22:16.520 It's like, boom, owned Democrats, owned you libs.

00:22:19.220 But you make a good point.

00:22:21.920 Why is it that the libs are screwing up everything? 0.98

00:22:25.920 Why is it that the libs are causing internal affairs to collapse, foreign affairs to collapse?

00:22:31.060 Their policies and their ideologies are driving up rates of depression and anxiety and suicide.

00:22:36.340 Why is it that the libs are failing on every front?

00:22:41.440 Well, it's because they have the wrong idea.

00:22:43.240 It's because they view the world in a way that's wrong.

00:22:46.140 And so, actually, that's to be expected.

00:22:47.960 What would be weirder is if they were right about some things but wrong about other things,

00:22:51.520 if they were good at certain things and bad at other things.

00:22:54.560 That I wouldn't know how to make sense of.

00:22:56.140 But the fact that they're just terrible at everything,

00:22:58.740 and that everything the Biden administration touches turns to ash,

00:23:01.300 that makes sense to me.

00:23:03.160 Because he's wrong.

00:23:04.020 His view of the world is just fundamentally wrong.

00:23:07.180 And I don't even think he has a view of the world,

00:23:08.920 but his political party and the political movement he's part of,

00:23:13.500 where the winds are blowing,

00:23:15.140 they're just wrong about everything.

00:23:16.320 They're wrong about the nature of man.

00:23:17.540 They're wrong about the purpose of life on Earth.

00:23:21.060 They're wrong about what the nation is.

00:23:22.820 They're wrong about babies. 0.77

00:23:25.140 They're wrong about foreign policy.

00:23:26.260 They're just wrong.

00:23:27.580 So, if they're wrong, then everything is going to fall apart,

00:23:30.460 and they're going to keep doing the same thing and hope to get a different result,

00:23:32.820 which is not a very wise thing to do.

00:23:35.360 Now, we have got some really big breaking news.

00:23:42.080 The really big breaking news, of course, is that Jack Daniels has gone drag.

00:23:47.260 This, right after Bud Light was caught sponsoring a transvestite, Dylan Mulvaney. 0.87

00:23:54.860 A lot of pushback against this.

00:23:56.640 Well, Jack Daniels, a while ago, I guess, sponsored this drag campaign. 1.00

00:24:01.740 People have dug that up, and now they're giving Jack the old Bud Light treatment.

00:24:06.120 Listen, people, we have a party to plan, and we need to go get some decorations,

00:24:11.700 and we need to get this going, and we're expecting April.

00:24:14.940 My gosh, she looks so stunning, and every single one of my addresses to the noise.

00:24:18.500 We've got to get some Jack Daniels fire.

00:24:19.880 This is going to be the fiercest party Lynchburg has ever seen.

00:24:21.740 Happy Pride.

00:24:22.960 Happy Pride.

00:24:23.600 Isn't Lynchburg a dry county?

00:24:25.160 Let's do it.

00:24:25.700 We should make a Jack Fire Cranberry.

00:24:27.440 Yes, we should.

00:24:28.200 Yes, we should.

00:24:28.720 Jack Fire Cranberry.

00:24:29.780 Fill a low-ball glass with ice.

00:24:35.440 You have one and a half ounces of Jack Fire, and four ounces of cranberry juice.

00:24:40.980 We invited all of Lynchburg, so I wonder who's going to show up.

00:24:44.280 Well, let's see who shows up.

00:24:45.760 Who's there?

00:24:46.440 Oh, good.

00:24:49.620 How y'all doing?

00:24:50.680 Yeah.

00:24:53.820 All right, you get the idea.

00:24:54.960 It goes on for a little while.

00:24:56.100 Now, everyone's criticizing Jack Daniels, especially on the right.

00:25:01.880 I, however, don't have a huge problem with this.

00:25:04.940 I don't have a huge problem.

00:25:05.960 I have a huge problem with Bud Light.

00:25:07.820 I have less of a huge problem with this, because it's not that Jack is advertising their regular

00:25:14.300 Jack Daniels here.

00:25:15.820 It's not good old number seven, okay?

00:25:17.740 It's not that Jack is advertising their Gentleman Jack, their higher-end whiskey.

00:25:22.500 You saw the specific product that they are advertising here is Jack Fire.

00:25:27.840 It's their rip-off of Fireball cinnamon-flavored whiskey. 0.76

00:25:32.220 And 100% of the people who drink Jack Fire are at least homosexuals, at least. 0.99

00:25:42.360 They might be trans. 0.99

00:25:43.720 They might be drag queens. 1.00

00:25:45.160 It's not a heterosexual beverage.

00:25:49.060 I don't even think women really drink it. 1.00

00:25:50.940 I think if women are going to drink, take a shot of one of these kind of frou-frou cinnamon 1.00

00:25:54.900 things, they'll probably just drink Fireball. 0.97

00:25:57.480 Jack has that bite to it.

00:25:59.440 It's more of a man's drink, albeit a man who's a little bit light in his Lynchburg loafers.

00:26:04.760 So in this case, you have Jack Daniels marketing a foppish drink to a foppish crowd of people.

00:26:11.740 All right.

00:26:12.720 Fair enough, right?

00:26:13.680 That doesn't offend me.

00:26:17.640 What offends me is when Bud Light markets a drink that is only consumed by frat stars and 0.87

00:26:24.780 construction workers and dudes at baseball games and markets that to transvestites who 1.00

00:26:31.580 actually claim to be women and who dance around and make awful caricatures of women all the time. 0.97

00:26:40.100 That bugs me.

00:26:41.820 That's a real finger in the eye of the customer base of Bud Light.

00:26:46.500 But for Jack, that's okay.

00:26:47.740 I don't mind.

00:26:48.820 So as long as they don't do it to old number seven, I don't really.

00:26:50.940 That's okay.

00:26:51.660 That's fine.

00:26:52.100 It fits.

00:26:53.020 It fits.

00:26:53.540 I don't mind when weird cultural movements are at least coherent or semi-coherent. 0.94

00:27:02.100 What bothers me is when the LGBT gay shtapo just tries to colonize everything else and 1.00

00:27:10.360 they try to go in and take normal products, you know, sports bras from Nike and then put 0.99

00:27:14.660 them on this dude and say, you know, just do it.

00:27:17.220 No, I don't want to do that.

00:27:18.240 I don't do that.

00:27:20.100 Or when drag queens go in and they start jiggling for elementary school students. 1.00

00:27:26.700 Drag queens, if you're going to have a drag queen show that belongs in a weird part of 1.00

00:27:29.980 town and some weird kind of seedy cabaret late at night with a guy checking IDs at the

00:27:33.680 door, if you're going to have it at all.

00:27:35.860 It certainly doesn't belong in elementary schools.

00:27:41.280 That's the real, that's the real issue here.

00:27:43.980 Speaking of foppish fellows and turning to 2016 as well, the libs are having a meltdown.

00:27:50.580 The libs are just so, so angry.

00:27:53.340 They're addicted to Trump.

00:27:54.520 They can't quit him, but they're so angry at him.

00:27:57.640 They're scarred by him.

00:27:58.880 Chris Hayes over on MSNBC.

00:28:01.960 He's giving his analysis of what Republicans should be doing vis-a-vis Trump after having

00:28:07.820 been scarred in 2016.

00:28:10.460 There are lots of people who watch politics closely, who've got a lot of anxiety stemming

00:28:15.840 from that 2016 election and probably will for as long as they live.

00:28:19.560 I know I will.

00:28:20.620 Everywhere you look, the signs point to the fact that Donald Trump is incredibly unpopular

00:28:25.160 with persuadable voters outside the Republican base.

00:28:29.300 But everyone is so freaked out, so permanently scarred by 2016, that obvious truth is often

00:28:34.680 obscured.

00:28:36.120 And the truth is that Donald Trump, listen to me now, does not possess a magic power that

00:28:41.860 turns political gravity upside down.

00:28:43.400 He is an unlikable figure who lots of persuadable voters find repulsive.

00:28:49.920 At some point, Republicans are going to have to face this reality. 0.69

00:28:54.660 The guy's utterly toxic.

00:28:56.400 As long as you keep supporting him, you're going to lose a lot of winnable elections. 0.97

00:29:00.560 Donald Trump is so terrible and everyone hates him and you better not run him for president.

00:29:05.440 And it says Chris Hayes, the big lib on the big lib network. 0.71

00:29:09.520 Don't do it, Republicans.

00:29:11.380 Why won't you listen to me? 0.93

00:29:12.740 Trump is terrible and he's awful and you're going to lose if you don't do what I say. 1.00

00:29:17.140 Get rid of Trump. 1.00

00:29:18.840 I hate him so much. 0.99

00:29:21.660 I don't know.

00:29:22.080 He's kind of convincing me that Trump's the guy.

00:29:24.740 If MSNBC, out of such concern for the Republican Party's electoral viability, MSNBC says, look,

00:29:33.420 we really have your best interests at heart, Republicans.

00:29:36.980 I really, look, I want Republicans to win elections.

00:29:40.120 I know I'm a lifelong Democrat and my whole network exists just to get Republicans out of

00:29:44.300 elected life.

00:29:44.820 But I'm, look, I'm taking a break from that.

00:29:46.800 I'm really concerned for you. 0.75

00:29:48.580 I'm just telling you, you'd be crazy to nominate that guy, Trump.

00:29:53.720 He's so easy to beat.

00:29:56.180 That guy is so easy to beat for president that we're trying to arrest him in three different

00:30:02.120 locales in America to keep him from campaigning.

00:30:05.280 Yo, because he's so easy.

00:30:06.920 You know, you get him out there and the more people see of Trump, the more they're going

00:30:10.840 to hate his guts. 0.52

00:30:11.920 That's why we're doing everything we can to shut him up and keep him off the campaign 0.93

00:30:16.220 trail and ideally just put him behind bars.

00:30:19.320 Does that make sense to you?

00:30:22.720 That doesn't make sense to me.

00:30:24.640 I don't know.

00:30:25.020 And the permanent scarring, that's the key to the key is that the political class, which

00:30:33.580 is mostly liberal, but it includes some squishes in establishment Republican types.

00:30:38.620 It was unthinkable to them that Trump could be elected.

00:30:43.760 It was unthinkable.

00:30:45.040 It was traumatizing to them because the options for America, we've got the far left over here,

00:30:55.900 we've got the center left over here, and the options were supposed to be between those

00:30:59.520 two poles.

00:31:01.000 And that was it.

00:31:02.160 And it's okay.

00:31:02.880 And sometimes, sometimes you get a Bush and sometimes you get a Clinton, but, you know,

00:31:07.440 it's, well, we'll complain about it, but, you know, those are the options.

00:31:10.960 And then when you had someone come in and say, actually, no, you guys are wrong on trade.

00:31:14.500 You're wrong on foreign policy.

00:31:15.820 You're wrong on abortion.

00:31:17.040 You're wrong on manufacturing.

00:31:18.620 You're wrong on all of it.

00:31:22.420 That was, that, that short circuited the liberal class.

00:31:26.420 I'm not saying Trump can win in 2024.

00:31:29.700 They might just say, nope, we're not going to let you win.

00:31:32.580 Even if, even if 80% of the people vote for you, we're not going to let you win again.

00:31:35.840 But it does show you the real threat that guy posed.

00:31:41.660 How many years later are we?

00:31:42.800 Seven years later, they still can't get this man out of their head.

00:31:46.680 He haunts their dreams.

00:31:48.140 We're coming up on almost one year since the release of my buddy Matt Walsh's groundbreaking

00:31:53.100 documentary, What is a Woman?, which exposed radical gender ideology for what it is.

00:31:57.420 You'd think this would be ample time for people to come up with an answer to the question.

00:32:03.320 You would be wrong.

00:32:03.940 As Matt discovered at the YAF Q&A in New Mexico just a few nights ago, their answers to the

00:32:09.080 question are still just as confusing and nonsensical.

00:32:12.380 They don't, they don't have answers.

00:32:14.040 I saw, I saw this clip from Matt.

00:32:15.400 I said to Elise, I said, didn't, shouldn't they have thought of an answer?

00:32:19.440 The movie came out over a year ago.

00:32:21.980 There's this great clip going around from Matt's speech where a self-identified trans woman,

00:32:26.800 meaning a dude, attempted to answer that simple question.

00:32:29.840 What is a woman? 1.00

00:32:30.480 Here is what that person responded.

00:32:31.740 Quote, a woman is somebody who is included and respected and seen and participates in

00:32:35.980 society and recognized by other women.

00:32:38.480 Uh-huh.

00:32:39.860 Uh, what?

00:32:41.040 Hmm?

00:32:42.060 If you haven't seen What is a Woman?

00:32:43.800 Or if you're on the left and somehow still find yourself confused by biology, I've got

00:32:48.900 great news.

00:33:12.460 My favorite time of the week when I get to hear from you in the mailbag.

00:33:16.380 The mailbag is sponsored by Pure Talk.

00:33:17.840 Go to puretalk.com, select a plan, enter code NOLS, K-N-O-W-L-E-S, to get 50% off your

00:33:23.480 first month.

00:33:24.520 Take it away with the voicemail bag.

00:33:27.840 Hey, Michael.

00:33:28.780 I'm a UMass Lowell student wondering how I should go about dating in college on a woke

00:33:34.860 campus.

00:33:35.780 By the way, you should totally come to this campus.

00:33:37.860 It would be great.

00:33:39.020 But back to the question.

00:33:40.320 I have tried going to the Catholic groups.

00:33:42.760 I've tried the churches.

00:33:43.580 And the closest I had was a girl who quoted The Serpent and then stalked me for like three

00:33:49.080 months.

00:33:49.660 So that wasn't exactly the best experience.

00:33:53.360 And I am still trying with little to no success.

00:33:56.360 So I'm wondering what advice do you have?

00:33:59.000 Thank you and good day.

00:34:02.640 I don't know that you can.

00:34:04.920 I'm not saying don't try.

00:34:07.220 I mean, college, there's a time and a place for everything in that place is college, as

00:34:10.560 some derelict people sometimes say.

00:34:11.920 But when I was in college, I was still an atheist and a derelict and, you know, I wasn't

00:34:20.900 dating to get married in college.

00:34:24.060 And so there were ample opportunities to, you know, meet lots of lovely gals. 1.00

00:34:28.840 But the culture when I was in college, which was now 10 years ago, it was a hookup culture.

00:34:34.660 It was unusual for people to date seriously.

00:34:38.340 And it's, I don't think anyone even really liked that fact.

00:34:41.320 They just, that's just what the culture was.

00:34:43.320 And it's only gotten worse.

00:34:44.720 I talk to kids on campuses all around the country and they say, oh yeah, we're in talking

00:34:47.640 phases and you can't, you're not even really allowed to ask, are we dating and are we serious?

00:34:52.980 Are we going steady?

00:34:53.840 Can I, can I put my pin on you?

00:34:55.680 I don't know.

00:34:56.380 Can we go up to Lover's Point and my old Chevrolet and neck?

00:34:59.580 I don't, I'm just using lines from happy days at this point.

00:35:02.260 So I don't know.

00:35:04.280 I don't want to give you false hope.

00:35:06.580 Now, I think you probably can.

00:35:08.500 You're listening to this show.

00:35:09.540 So you're obviously intelligent.

00:35:11.020 You're obviously wise beyond your years.

00:35:13.400 You're probably a good looking man.

00:35:16.040 So you can.

00:35:17.020 I think a little bit of confidence is helpful because on the one hand, if you participate

00:35:21.900 in the hookup culture, there will be an aspect of social proof that will convince other

00:35:25.860 women to be attracted to you. 0.94

00:35:27.280 And that's how our animal, animalistic kind of psychology works.

00:35:33.880 But if you're the strong silent type who says, no, I don't want to get into that kind

00:35:37.580 of nonsense.

00:35:38.120 I want to do the real thing.

00:35:39.580 That will attract a different kind of woman to you and a better woman, actually. 1.00

00:35:42.580 So I would just be patient.

00:35:45.980 I would just, and if you look around and say, wow, I'm in a degenerate hookup culture where

00:35:52.340 the pickings are a little bit slim around here, that might just be the fact, okay?

00:35:58.280 And you might have to wait until after college to meet somebody or outside of college to meet

00:36:04.800 somebody, or you can do what I did and marry your high school sweetheart. 0.99

00:36:08.140 Next question.

00:36:09.820 Hello, Smokey Mike.

00:36:11.260 This is Julia, your number one fangirl.

00:36:13.920 I really enjoyed your Purdue speech.

00:36:16.660 I was lucky enough to go.

00:36:17.960 And unfortunately, my friend was the guy who was yelling at you that aliens are demons.

00:36:23.080 So I'm sorry if he annoyed you.

00:36:25.580 My question is, what do you think of natural family planning?

00:36:29.620 I know that the Catholic Church supports this, and it's obviously much better than contraception 1.00

00:36:34.820 or abortion.

00:36:36.440 But a lot of my friends who practice natural family planning don't seem as open to life as

00:36:43.340 they ought to be as Catholics.

00:36:45.200 So I was wondering your thoughts on natural family planning.

00:36:49.320 Thanks.

00:36:50.360 Really great question.

00:36:51.940 I'm still forming my thoughts on it, actually.

00:36:54.200 For the non-Catholics out there, natural family planning is a method of observing one's

00:37:03.020 menstrual cycle to observe naturally and scientifically when one is most likely to be fertile.

00:37:10.180 And so it can be used to encourage conception, and it can be used to figure out when you're

00:37:16.880 not likely to conceive, and that's often how it's used.

00:37:21.180 But it is wrong.

00:37:22.660 I've got my 1962 missile that says that it's wrong.

00:37:25.480 It's a sin to intentionally abstain from the marital act on a day so that you don't have

00:37:33.240 kids.

00:37:34.360 It would be wrong to be closed off to life.

00:37:36.840 But there is the principle of double effect here.

00:37:38.820 One, you might have a health condition that suggests that you would have serious danger

00:37:45.740 if you were to become pregnant at a certain time, so that would seem to be a good use of 1.00

00:37:49.640 this.

00:37:50.120 It doesn't use any artificial methods or establish the domination of technology over

00:37:54.320 the origin and destiny of human life, which would be a bad thing.

00:37:57.320 So the Catholic Church says that some form of NFP is fine, and they don't ask my opinion

00:38:07.100 on that, and it's above my pay grade.

00:38:09.660 But I think your trepidation with it is important to keep in mind, which is that if you are using

00:38:15.320 this as a way to be closed off to life, then you are probably abusing this natural and scientific

00:38:23.900 resource that's available to you.

00:38:25.820 Next question.

00:38:27.880 Hi, Michael.

00:38:28.800 Love the show.

00:38:29.800 I wanted to ask for your opinion about a family disagreement.

00:38:32.840 I'm 26 and married with a nine-month-old.

00:38:35.080 My brother is 23 and still living at home, going to school part-time but barely and doesn't

00:38:39.660 have a job.

00:38:40.580 He lived on his own for about six months and didn't hold a job or go to school for that

00:38:44.080 time.

00:38:44.740 He recently begged to move back home, likely after not enjoying paying rent.

00:38:48.500 Anyway, we had a falling out recently after years of a not great relationship, but my brother

00:38:52.780 refuses to acknowledge or apologize for any of his past mistakes, including threatening

00:38:56.560 to sue me and threatening to call the FBI on me for totally preposterous reasons.

00:39:01.160 Our parents are unhappy about our tiff and told me if I don't apologize and smooth it

00:39:04.720 over, he likely never will.

00:39:06.560 They likely see how this will impact their ability to have our son or future children

00:39:10.360 to their home, and my son's first birthday is coming up.

00:39:13.640 It seems they think I'm being the unforgiving older sister.

00:39:16.240 From a biblical perspective, I believe I can forgive him, but that restoration and reconciliation

00:39:21.020 come from repentance, which is what's missing.

00:39:24.100 What would be your perspective on how to approach this family drama?

00:39:27.080 Thanks.

00:39:28.040 Brilliantly stated, and you don't need me to help you understand this.

00:39:32.020 You've got a very clear view yourself and a good view.

00:39:35.100 Sorry to hear you going through that.

00:39:38.080 You want to be forgiving, and you want to apologize for anything that you've done wrong. 0.99

00:39:45.200 It sounds like your brother's a complete lunatic, and some people have lunatics in their family. 0.96

00:39:50.460 So you could apologize for something you did wrong if you did anything wrong here, but 0.98

00:39:56.060 you shouldn't apologize if you didn't do anything wrong.

00:39:58.720 That would be lying.

00:40:00.540 Now, what would I do if I wanted to keep the peace?

00:40:04.940 And it seems like your family, your parents don't think he's moving out anytime soon.

00:40:09.320 What would I do if I wanted to keep the peace?

00:40:11.180 I would probably say, hey, bro, if I did anything wrong, sorry I ate your cookie that one time.

00:40:20.060 Sorry I borrowed your Walkman, or I don't know.

00:40:23.200 I'm really dating myself with my references today.

00:40:26.380 And I would say, you know, we're going to come over for my kid's first birthday party,

00:40:30.200 and that's just the way it is.

00:40:31.880 So look forward to seeing you, pal.

00:40:33.960 Well, and he can whine and cry and complain about it or do whatever.

00:40:37.780 He's obviously not a stable person.

00:40:41.400 But you can't control that.

00:40:43.080 That's totally out of your control.

00:40:44.640 And so, and if your parents say, well, we're not going to let you come over because your 0.59

00:40:49.820 brother is a nut, well, you can't control that either.

00:40:52.220 All you can do is act in a way that is charitable, which I think you're doing, and forgiving, which

00:40:58.360 you said you will do, but also prudent, you know, and not dishonest.

00:41:03.800 You don't want to apologize for something you didn't do, and you don't want to open yourself

00:41:07.740 up to an involvement in his degeneracy and his bizarre and harmful behaviors.

00:41:14.740 So I would be prudent about that, too.

00:41:17.540 And, you know, if your parents won't let you over to the house because their new border

00:41:23.820 is a little crazy, then I guess they've got to come to your apartment or house for your

00:41:29.560 kid's birthday.

00:41:30.720 Next question.

00:41:32.500 Hello, Michael Knowles.

00:41:33.320 This is J.P. Ashbourne speaking.

00:41:37.040 I'm going to try and keep this quick and keep it concise.

00:41:41.280 So here we go.

00:41:42.040 So when I cast my eyes upon the world, I notice that my heart just seethes with anger.

00:41:49.020 The good are killed and the wicked live.

00:41:51.420 The innocent are punished and prosecuted, while the guilty gain even more power and control.

00:41:57.520 Sin is publicly celebrated, encouraged, and deemed as righteous, while what is truly righteous

00:42:03.720 is shunned, banished, and exiled from public life.

00:42:07.320 This torrent of anger is wholly natural to me, and it comes, you know, regardless of my

00:42:15.560 choice.

00:42:17.420 My question is, as a fellow Christian, what is your advice on how I can mitigate such

00:42:22.460 natural feelings?

00:42:24.340 Because they're not good.

00:42:26.060 They don't feel good.

00:42:26.820 So thank you for everything you do.

00:42:30.920 God bless.

00:42:31.380 You've got to look in the mirror.

00:42:34.260 That's the problem.

00:42:35.080 Because you're seeing the world correctly, but you're not seeing yourself correctly.

00:42:39.560 I suspect.

00:42:40.400 I suspect that you are not perfect.

00:42:43.160 Maybe you are.

00:42:43.760 I don't know.

00:42:45.120 But if you're anything like me, you're not perfect.

00:42:47.620 And so it's very easy to see the sins of others and all the problems of the world and pull

00:42:52.600 your hair out about it.

00:42:53.500 But look at yourself in the mirror.

00:42:55.840 Look at your own infirmities.

00:42:57.080 I think what you're struggling with is a little bit of wrath, certainly, but it's pride.

00:43:01.200 Pride is the queen of all sins.

00:43:02.420 And you think, this is outrageous, and I don't deserve this, and I deserve better than this

00:43:06.400 crappy world, and if only everyone were like me. 1.00

00:43:09.760 But no, you look around, you say, gosh, look at how, look at what a jerk I am. 0.99

00:43:15.300 Look at how fallen I am. 0.99

00:43:17.200 Hmm, and the way we get the world is just a bunch of me's running around, and then it's

00:43:24.260 a fallen world.

00:43:25.060 So you kind of look around, you say, there but for the grace of God go I if someone's

00:43:28.100 really in a bad place.

00:43:30.000 And then you put your hope in the life of the world to come.

00:43:34.960 And you, through acts of charity and works of mercy, try to improve the world around you.

00:43:40.680 But I would look around this very fallen world and say, how can I help?

00:43:44.620 What can I do?

00:43:45.740 And how can I stop contributing to all the bad stuff going on?

00:43:50.740 That's what I would do first.

00:43:53.740 Usually, when people are dealing with pride, I say, stop looking at the mirror, look out

00:43:57.780 the window.

00:43:58.520 But with you, with this manifestation of pride, which is the deadliest sin and which we all

00:44:02.860 need to guard against, I would say, stop looking out the window, start looking at the mirror.

00:44:06.800 Okay, let's get to a question from Ricardo.

00:44:10.120 Ricardo says, hey, Mike, short but so sweet, not so sweet question.

00:44:13.600 How do you answer someone that claims gender and sex are separate concepts?

00:44:18.800 Obviously, the easy answer is to say they've always been the same, but that doesn't seem

00:44:22.380 to work anymore because they'll claim times are changing.

00:44:25.060 Thanks for your input.

00:44:26.000 Well, I think they are separate concepts.

00:44:29.660 It's true that the way the gender ideology works is that really over the last 50, 60 years, 0.50

00:44:36.280 they've diverged and the libs have used this to deny biological reality.

00:44:40.940 There was some precedent for this.

00:44:42.460 I believe gender was used to refer to sex as a synonym for sex as early as the 16th century.

00:44:47.800 But gender expression certainly is distinct from sex, just by definition.

00:44:53.540 Your sex is your biology, derives from your biology.

00:44:58.340 And then your gender expression is your performance of that. 0.97

00:45:03.060 And that's why there are effeminate men and there are butch chicks. 1.00

00:45:07.600 And that's all true. 0.79

00:45:10.800 And what the libs conclude from this is that if you wish for your gender expression to be

00:45:16.080 very different from your sex, then you should ignore your sex and pursue your gender expression.

00:45:20.280 But I don't see why that's the conclusion.

00:45:21.800 I think it should be the opposite conclusion.

00:45:23.640 You know your sex. 0.99

00:45:25.240 You know that for sure. 0.82

00:45:26.500 And that sex is immutable. 0.93

00:45:27.860 So if you have some fancy about your gender expression that is outside of normal limits

00:45:33.520 of deviation, then you should rein that in.

00:45:36.820 Because you have not a right to deny the reality of your sex.

00:45:40.920 You actually have an obligation to bring your gender expression into line with your sex. 0.98

00:45:46.820 That's what I do.

00:45:47.400 Give them the premise.

00:45:48.200 Yeah, of course.

00:45:49.300 Yeah, there's tomboys.

00:45:51.240 There's guys who are a little bit fey.

00:45:52.980 Yeah, sure. 0.98

00:45:54.980 But your sex is real and unchangeable. 0.91

00:45:58.420 Your gender expression is quite changeable, obviously.

00:46:01.860 And so when those run into conflict, change the thing that can actually be changed.
