00:00:00.000 Did you know Easter is completely ripped off from the pagan holiday Ostara?
00:00:04.200 Only a matter of time before he finds out what Easter is really about.
00:00:11.860 The libs hate everything good, including Easter, apparently.
00:00:17.220 Probably including Easter, especially.
00:00:19.780 So we will delve the depths of the anti-Easter propaganda percolating on TikTok.
00:00:26.780 This video is brought to us by Hallow. Very fitting.
00:00:30.780 Bring out the anti-Easter brigade.
00:00:33.140 Did you know Easter is completely ripped off from the pagan holiday Ostara?
00:00:37.020 Put a pause. Here we go. Here we go. You're going to start me off like this.
00:00:42.380 Ah, s***. Here we go again. 0.98
00:00:44.720 This is what the libs always love to say.
00:00:46.800 They say, do you know that every Christian thing that we like is actually pagan?
00:00:51.320 And unfortunately, there are many Christians who have bought into this propaganda, and it's not true.
00:00:55.920 It's not true when it comes to Christmas.
00:00:57.900 It's not true when it comes to Easter.
00:01:00.880 It's not true when it comes to any of the other days.
00:01:03.840 But let's hear her argument.
00:01:05.120 She recently celebrated the goddess Iostre.
00:01:06.900 I'm sorry if I didn't pronounce it correctly.
00:01:08.260 She is the goddess of fertility, spring, and rebirth.
00:01:10.680 The symbol for fertility has always been an egg forever.
00:01:13.720 And her spirit animal is a rabbit.
00:01:15.880 So this is where the Easter egg and the Easter bunny comes from.
00:01:18.020 That can't be real, right?
00:01:19.120 Except when Christians adopted the egg as their Easter symbol in the 13th century,
00:01:22.760 they used to paint it red, which symbolizes Jesus' blood.
00:01:25.460 So nobody really knows when Jesus was resurrected.
00:01:28.040 But Christians decided it would be on a pagan holiday.
00:01:30.520 The people they slaughtered for being pagan. 0.76
00:01:33.360 There is no evidence that this was a pagan goddess really at all, with one exception.
00:01:39.640 The 8th century Catholic monk St. Bede gives some reference to this pagan goddess.
00:01:47.440 But in this sole reference to this pagan goddess, there is absolutely no mention that the symbol of this goddess was a bunny.
00:01:55.200 That's just completely made up.
00:01:56.760 And then she says, well, the reason that Christians celebrate Easter when they celebrate Easter is because they ripped off this holiday, 0.99
00:02:03.200 supposed holiday, that celebrated this supposed pagan goddess.
00:02:06.580 But that isn't true.
00:02:07.760 One, we don't have really any textual evidence of any festival celebrating this pagan goddess.
00:02:11.820 But two, the reason that Christians celebrate Easter at Easter is because it's after the Passover.
00:02:18.440 Because the Last Supper was a Passover Seder. 0.87
00:02:21.520 And then Christ went through his passion and was crucified and was resurrected.
00:02:25.920 Very simple.
00:02:26.640 It's right there in the book.
00:02:27.520 If this woman had taken even two seconds to read the book, she would have not fallen into this misinformation. 0.91
00:02:34.060 You know, we just went through the Easter season and I realized something.
00:02:39.680 I worship a brown-skinned man as God.
00:02:44.840 Put a pause there.
00:02:46.920 What is your evidence that our Lord has brown skin?
00:02:50.460 I'm not saying he doesn't have brown skin, but this is modern liberals like to say this.
00:02:53.740 Jesus was black. 0.70
00:02:54.940 He looks like an Arabian or something like that.
00:03:00.420 There's no evidence of that at all.
00:03:02.080 Jesus is a Jew. 1.00
00:03:03.560 And I strongly suspect he looks like Jews. 1.00
00:03:06.640 All right.
00:03:07.220 Fair enough.
00:03:08.120 And I actually strongly suspect he looks like the face that we see on the Shroud of Turin.
00:03:14.120 Why are they so obsessed with that?
00:03:15.760 They're so obsessed with that because they have to, it has nothing to do with Christianity. 0.99
00:03:19.580 They just have to push this liberal political agenda, according to which white people are evil. 0.99
00:03:24.940 And non-white people are the only good people. 1.00
00:03:27.660 He was hung on a tree. 0.93
00:03:31.160 That's the way the Bible describes it.
00:03:33.780 Nailed to the cross.
00:03:35.020 He was hung on a tree.
00:03:37.140 So he was essentially lynched.
00:03:39.800 No, he wasn't lynched.
00:03:41.160 This is a really important distinction.
00:03:42.680 Christ was tried and executed by the civil authority.
00:03:51.000 A lynching is a vigilante killing.
00:03:53.400 The passion and crucifixion of our Lord was legal, and he submitted himself to that.
00:03:59.280 And this has important implications for the way Christians ought to view the civil authority
00:04:03.680 and ought to view political life.
00:04:05.720 By Caucasian people who were in control of the Holy Land at that time. 1.00
00:04:11.360 Put a pause there.
00:04:12.560 Christ was handed over to his execution by Jews. 0.96
00:04:17.120 I'm not knocking the Jews here.
00:04:18.680 Our Lord is a Jew as well.
00:04:20.180 But notice what he says.
00:04:21.020 He says, 0.95
00:04:21.440 Jesus is a brown-skinned man, and he was killed by Caucasian people. 0.99
00:04:25.620 No, it was the same people. 0.76
00:04:26.440 He was turned over to his death by his own people. 0.97
00:04:31.660 They knew him not.
00:04:32.680 This is all attested to in the Gospels.
00:04:35.240 But the story does not support the liberal political project.
00:04:40.400 And so this lib, when he has to choose between liberalism and Christianity,
00:04:43.580 he chooses liberalism, and he chooses to rewrite Christianity to fit his own political narrative. 0.92
00:04:48.400 So I worship a lynched, brown-skinned man who was killed by people with white privilege, 0.66
00:04:57.220 and I celebrate his resurrection and his effect on my life.
00:05:04.680 You might worship all of those things, but I would recommend you worship our Lord.
00:05:11.260 That might define your religion, but I would recommend you check out the religion of Christianity, 0.80
00:05:16.500 because it's a lot better.
00:05:18.720 In a society rife with anti-religious ideology, like the views that we hear on a daily basis
00:05:25.780 and we're hearing right now, actually, it can be incredibly challenging to ground oneself

00:06:23.380 Can we talk about the dark history of Easter?
00:06:25.840 Let's talk about it.
00:06:26.720 Sorry to say that Easter has nothing to do with Jesus.
00:06:29.680 Many aspects of traditional Christianity, holidays, practices, doctrines, the bunnies, the eggs.
00:06:36.680 Springtime came not from Christ or the Bible, but came from pagan religion.
00:06:41.640 Easter Sunday is a Babylonian pagan holiday, which idolizes the fertility goddess Ishtar.
00:06:47.300 Worshiping Ishtar was a... 0.93
00:06:48.220 I'm going to pause there.
00:06:48.840 This is what they always do.
00:06:50.320 Because it's all made up, they don't know which pagan idol they should refer to,
00:06:56.440 or which pagan feast day they should refer to.
00:06:59.400 So they'll say, Christmas is really the pagan feast day of Saturnalia.
00:07:03.360 Christmas is really the pagan holiday of Sol Invictus.
00:07:06.980 Christmas is really the pagan holiday of Mithras.
00:07:09.380 But the only thing it can never be is Christmas.
00:07:12.140 Women were required to celebrate the conception by laying down at the Temple of Ishtar 0.79
00:07:15.720 and having relations with anybody who walks in.
00:07:18.360 There is a very, very dark history on why they color eggs.
00:07:21.140 Babies were sacrificed.
00:07:22.720 And the blood of the infants were dipped in the eggs for Ishtar. 0.96
00:07:25.460 No!
00:07:25.680 None of this had to do with Christianity.
00:07:28.940 The bunnies and the eggs are not as simple as they seem.
00:07:31.360 And this holiday is not holy.
00:07:33.440 Y'all be safe.
00:07:34.580 So it is holy.
00:07:35.460 It marks the resurrection of Christ.
00:07:37.980 Ishtar, who is a better attested to pagan goddess,
00:07:42.060 does not have a bunny for her representation.
00:07:44.520 And the bunny, it's actually a product of German Lutherans. 0.52
00:07:48.840 And it seems relatively harmless to me.
00:07:51.080 It doesn't.
00:07:51.580 I've attended Easter celebrations for my whole life.
00:07:54.040 We've never sacrificed any babies.
00:07:55.680 Modern liberalism sacrifices 800,000 babies a year,
00:07:58.660 and they don't want to acknowledge that.
00:08:00.240 But no, Easter celebrations don't do that.
00:08:03.140 Easter is not a secular holiday.
00:08:05.660 And apparently there are people out there who try to pushly encourage
00:08:10.300 certain families who do not celebrate that to celebrate it.
00:08:15.700 Various people from various religions don't believe in your religion
00:08:20.120 and in your religious holidays and in your celebrations. 0.89
00:08:23.560 I don't f***ing celebrate Easter. 0.92
00:08:25.080 We've got a badass over here. 0.96
00:08:26.840 I was baptized Catholic as a baby, mostly because, you know,
00:08:30.700 infants can go to not heaven if they die and they're not baptized.
00:08:35.540 And for some reason, my grandma was like, ah, about that.
00:08:39.040 My terrible parents didn't want me to perish and burn in hell forever. 0.99
00:08:41.900 I hate them. 1.00
00:08:42.540 I hate you, dad. 1.00
00:08:43.160 That's what all liberalism is. 1.00
00:08:44.140 It's just, I hate you, dad.
00:08:45.080 Keep going.
00:08:45.620 A lot of holidays that we celebrate here that are seemingly secular
00:08:49.540 do not have a basis in secular holiday business.
00:08:55.180 Easter is not a secular holiday.
00:08:57.040 I keep waiting for this to end because she just keeps repeating the same phrase.
00:09:01.540 It says, Easter is not a secular holiday.
00:09:06.260 Right.
00:09:07.860 It's a holiday that marks the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
00:09:12.800 So you're right.
00:09:13.540 That's not a secular holiday.
00:09:15.460 There's really no such thing as a secular holiday because holiday refers to holy days.
00:09:21.180 Now, Easter is celebrated in America.
00:09:23.860 America, we have all sorts of federal holidays that are Christian holidays.
00:09:28.860 What the Libs want to do is replace all of the real holidays with fake holidays.
00:09:33.220 So they want to get rid of Christmas and Easter and the public celebration of these things.
00:09:38.500 So the question for us is, do you want the good old real holidays that refer to real religion
00:09:43.000 or do you want the bizarro pseudo holidays like Transvisibility Day of the leftist anti-religion?
00:09:50.000 Happy Easter, everybody.
00:09:53.860 Happy Easter, everyone.
