Ep. 1270 - Did Joe Biden Really Just Say That?

Summary

In the wake of President Joe Biden's remarks at a gun control summit in Connecticut, there are many theories about what he was actually saying, including that he was praying for the long life of a dead monarch, and that it was actually a prayer for Queen Elizabeth II.

00:00:30.500 President Joe Biden was up in Connecticut
00:00:32.440 over the weekend for a gun control summit
00:00:34.760 at the University of Hartford
00:00:36.240 where the president focused his remarks
00:00:38.600 on a prayer for the long life
00:00:41.720 of a dead English monarch.
00:00:44.000 And if you can see the camera, they can see you.
00:00:46.780 And it's the least consequential part
00:00:49.300 of this whole meeting for you, I promise.
00:00:52.100 All right, God save the queen, man.
00:00:58.340 And then the best part is he just points.
00:01:05.460 He goes, am I supposed to go off this way?
00:01:06.800 Am I?
00:01:07.280 And as he does that, the crowd there,
00:01:09.500 they go, whoo!
00:01:12.400 God save the queen, man.
00:01:14.360 On the one hand, probably the most conservative
00:01:17.020 and dignified thing Joe Biden has ever said.
00:01:19.880 A little bit late.
00:01:21.500 Didn't totally make sense in the middle of Connecticut
00:01:24.460 nine months after Queen Elizabeth died.
00:01:28.360 In fact, I kind of like,
00:01:29.580 I know it's better than a lot of things the guys said.
00:01:31.500 Even Joe Biden's professional spin doctors
00:01:34.240 can't make sense of it.
00:01:36.460 Perhaps Biden confused New England with old England.
00:01:40.580 Perhaps Joe Biden was referring to drag queens.
00:01:43.840 It was a little bit of a Pride Month valedictory.
00:01:47.040 Nah, not quite.
00:01:47.940 Not quite convincing.
00:01:49.000 The only explanation is the one
00:01:50.580 that we've all known for a long time,
00:01:51.900 which is that Joe Biden,
00:01:53.800 who was never the brightest bulb in the pack,
00:01:57.120 is fading even further.
00:01:59.820 Couple fries short of a happy meal.
00:02:01.880 Few cans short of a six pack.
00:02:03.640 Know what I'm saying?
00:02:04.580 Catch my drift.
00:02:05.700 The lights are on, but no one's home.
00:02:07.420 And we all know it,
00:02:08.780 but the ruling class can't do very much about it.
00:02:12.280 Joe Biden is the incumbent.
00:02:14.440 He's almost certainly the Democrat nominee
00:02:16.220 for president in 2024.
00:02:18.460 So if the Democrats want to hang on to power,
00:02:20.380 they're going to have to rig the election,
00:02:22.800 which is exactly what they are currently doing.
00:02:26.540 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:02:27.280 This is the Michael Knowles Show.
00:02:35.800 Welcome back to the show.
00:02:38.800 There's the race right now,
00:02:40.220 which is basically Trump versus Biden.
00:02:42.860 Those are the guys who are leading by a lot in the race.
00:02:46.000 But there's a shadow race going on too,
00:02:48.880 which is the number two guy in both parties,
00:02:51.340 DeSantis going after Gavin Newsom,
00:02:54.820 which we'll get to in just a second
00:02:56.080 what that means for the dynamic of the race.
00:02:57.940 First though, are they rigging the election?
00:03:01.600 We're now allowed to openly talk about rigging the election,
00:03:04.800 even on certain big tech platforms
00:03:06.320 that may have banned me last week.
00:03:08.060 We're back.
00:03:08.740 We're back for now.
00:03:09.940 But now you're allowed to talk about that.
00:03:11.420 Now that the 2020 election is over
00:03:13.280 and the Democrats got away with it,
00:03:14.380 you're allowed to openly,
00:03:16.000 even on these platforms,
00:03:17.580 not just on Daily Wire Plus,
00:03:19.060 where I had previously been talking about this,
00:03:20.760 but openly on big tech.
00:03:22.540 You're allowed to say what we all know,
00:03:24.560 which is that the Democrats rigged the last election
00:03:26.620 by changing all of the voting rules
00:03:28.260 in the weeks and months before the election took place.
00:03:30.840 And they changed those rules in a way
00:03:32.540 that was advantageous to Democrats
00:03:34.080 and which hurt Republicans.
00:03:37.140 So how are they rigging the election this time?
00:03:39.540 Not just by changing the voting rules.
00:03:41.940 In some cases, some of the rules have changed back,
00:03:43.920 but broadly, the Democrats have just kept that victory.
00:03:46.760 Widespread mail-in ballots they've kept,
00:03:48.880 the changing of rules such that
00:03:52.340 it even contradicts the state constitutions,
00:03:54.860 as we see in Pennsylvania,
00:03:56.440 ballot harvesting, all the rest of it.
00:03:58.900 How are they changing it this time?
00:04:00.220 How are they rigging it this time?
00:04:01.360 They're rigging it by indicting the chief political rival.
00:04:07.440 And they're indicting him in New York,
00:04:09.220 and they're indicting him on federal charges in Miami,
00:04:12.700 and they're going after him in all sorts of ways.
00:04:15.740 There are civil actions coming up.
00:04:18.720 They're just going to try to pummel this guy with the law
00:04:22.300 such that they can either bury his campaign
00:04:24.960 or literally put him into prison.
00:04:27.500 And it's not just my opinion
00:04:29.260 that this is election interference.
00:04:30.920 This is the opinion of most Americans.
00:04:34.400 Even if it were just my opinion,
00:04:36.780 I think that's a good enough reason
00:04:37.800 to take it seriously.
00:04:39.960 But according to a Harvard-Harris poll,
00:04:42.020 most people believe that the Trump indictments
00:04:44.960 constitute election interference
00:04:47.120 of registered voter respondents.
00:04:49.760 55% say the indictment is politically motivated
00:04:52.060 versus only 45% who find the indictment valid,
00:04:57.160 which is an interesting way of phrasing the question
00:04:59.060 because the indictment could be valid
00:05:01.940 and politically motivated.
00:05:04.920 And it could be not politically motivated,
00:05:08.600 but also invalid, not legally serious.
00:05:11.040 But here you've got a clear majority of people
00:05:13.220 who say it's politically motivated
00:05:14.440 and a clear minority of people
00:05:16.660 who say that it's valid.
00:05:20.060 Similarly, 56% of the participants
00:05:22.040 categorize the indictment as interference
00:05:23.720 by the Department of Justice in the 2024 elections.
00:05:26.920 Only 44% see this as a fair application of the law.
00:05:32.060 So Americans know what's up.
00:05:33.540 It's not just the Republicans.
00:05:34.860 It's not just the conservatives.
00:05:36.300 Even Democrats, a lot of Democrats,
00:05:38.680 fair-minded Democrats understand
00:05:40.080 this is Joe Biden wielding his political power
00:05:43.660 to rig the game against the leader
00:05:46.460 of the political opposition,
00:05:47.820 which is something that we have never seen
00:05:49.800 anywhere near this scale in American history.
00:05:52.800 Deeply corrupt, a major shift in our political order,
00:05:56.000 even the Democrats are admitting it.
00:05:59.060 So you know that you can rely on Mitt Romney to defend it.
00:06:03.040 You know when something is so clear,
00:06:06.000 it's so obviously favoring the liberal establishment,
00:06:08.680 you know that you can rely on liberal Republicans,
00:06:13.400 such as Mitt Romney,
00:06:15.120 to defend the uniparty swampy establishment strategy.
00:06:20.040 I'm angry.
00:06:21.820 The country's gonna go through tumult
00:06:24.180 as a result of one thing.
00:06:27.300 President Trump didn't turn over military documents
00:06:31.260 when he was asked to do so.
00:06:32.900 All he had to do was hand them in.
00:06:35.260 I'm sure his counsel told him,
00:06:36.980 hand the documents in,
00:06:38.160 particularly when the subpoena came.
00:06:39.900 But for some reason, he decided not to.
00:06:42.040 He held on to them.
00:06:43.340 Why?
00:06:44.400 That's the question.
00:06:45.220 Why is the country gonna have to go through
00:06:47.220 all this angst and tumult?
00:06:49.700 Why did he just turn the documents in?
00:06:52.200 I am angry.
00:06:53.620 I'm angry.
00:06:54.400 I don't even want to do my Romney impression
00:06:56.100 because it's not good enough
00:06:57.040 and I end up just sounding like Reagan
00:06:58.340 and I don't want to compare Mitt Romney to Ronald Reagan.
00:07:00.380 He said, I am angry.
00:07:02.440 I'm angry at Trump.
00:07:04.500 I'm angry at the Republicans.
00:07:06.620 I'm angry at the conservatives.
00:07:08.100 You can always rely on Mitt Romney
00:07:11.400 and the Republicans like Mitt Romney to punch right.
00:07:16.540 They don't really punch left.
00:07:18.900 BLM is burning the country down.
00:07:20.400 Mitt Romney is gonna be out there marching with BLM.
00:07:23.480 Donald Trump is selectively prosecuted
00:07:25.860 for an alleged crime that many of his predecessors,
00:07:29.580 potentially all of his predecessors,
00:07:31.200 but at the very least, many of his predecessors
00:07:33.200 and his successor, Joe Biden, all committed.
00:07:38.100 But it's Trump's fault.
00:07:42.760 Of course, this is preposterous.
00:07:45.720 If virtually every modern president
00:07:49.440 has committed this one crime
00:07:50.900 and Donald Trump is the only one who's prosecuted for it,
00:07:54.460 then the thing that changed here is not the presidents
00:07:57.420 or what the presidents are doing.
00:07:58.440 The thing that changed is the DOJ.
00:08:00.360 The thing that changed is the prosecutors.
00:08:02.380 The person who deserves the blame
00:08:04.360 is the top prosecutor in the country
00:08:06.620 and his boss, Joe Biden.
00:08:10.360 Romney won't say that
00:08:11.460 because the debate that we're seeing in our country
00:08:14.320 increasingly is not between Republican and Democrat.
00:08:16.340 The debate we're seeing in our country
00:08:17.920 is increasingly not between leftist and conservative.
00:08:21.000 The debate in our country is,
00:08:22.800 as Patrick Deneen writes in his new,
00:08:24.580 quite good book, Regime Change,
00:08:26.940 this conservative writer, Patrick Deneen,
00:08:28.520 says that the big divide now
00:08:31.580 is between the many and the few.
00:08:34.220 The people and what we call the uniparty,
00:08:37.660 the elite Democrats and the elite Republicans
00:08:42.300 joining together.
00:08:43.880 This is how you're getting talk of, say,
00:08:48.020 a Donald Trump
00:08:49.120 maybe picking
00:08:51.320 Democrat
00:08:53.500 Bobby Kennedy Jr.
00:08:55.320 as his running mate.
00:08:56.220 How on earth, what,
00:08:57.080 how on earth does Trump,
00:08:58.880 the, I guess, conservative Republican,
00:09:01.680 share a significant amount of
00:09:04.100 voters,
00:09:05.740 people who admire
00:09:06.900 Bobby Kennedy?
00:09:09.100 That's so,
00:09:09.780 how is that?
00:09:10.420 Because that old political divide
00:09:12.000 is breaking down to something
00:09:13.340 a little bit more basic
00:09:14.360 and a little bit more populist.
00:09:15.640 And as our political order breaks down,

00:09:22.700 Congress, once again,
00:09:23.780 has allowed itself
00:09:24.620 to be pushed into appeasing
00:09:26.060 the administration
00:09:26.700 and raising the debt ceiling
00:09:28.400 for the 79th time,
00:09:31.180 paving the way
00:09:31.940 for continued

00:09:34.040 and further devaluation
00:09:35.860 of the dollar.

00:10:26.380 Speaking of the
00:10:27.300 Uniparty,
00:10:28.580 the Nevada
00:10:29.180 Republican Governor,
00:10:31.660 Joe Lombardo,
00:10:32.620 just signed a bill
00:10:33.400 into law
00:10:34.360 that will force
00:10:35.760 insurance companies
00:10:36.900 to pay
00:10:37.740 for transgender
00:10:39.660 procedures.
00:10:40.440 not even
00:10:42.080 just transing
00:10:42.900 the adults.
00:10:43.540 This bill
00:10:44.440 is going to
00:10:45.040 force companies
00:10:46.140 to pay
00:10:46.700 to trans
00:10:47.760 the kids.
00:10:49.160 That is the
00:10:49.700 Republican Governor
00:10:50.620 of Nevada.
00:10:52.720 This comes
00:10:53.660 as nearly
00:10:54.280 20 states
00:10:55.240 have signed
00:10:56.180 laws to ban
00:10:57.240 transing
00:10:57.920 the kids.
00:10:59.880 But
00:11:00.480 the GOP
00:11:01.600 in Nevada,
00:11:02.320 they're going to
00:11:02.840 promote
00:11:03.200 transing the kids.
00:11:04.360 The battle
00:11:04.900 is so much
00:11:06.320 harder
00:11:06.800 than a lot
00:11:07.360 of us realize
00:11:08.020 because we
00:11:08.320 focus our
00:11:08.820 ire on
00:11:09.240 Joe Biden
00:11:09.940 or Barack
00:11:11.520 Obama
00:11:11.900 or I don't
00:11:13.420 know,
00:11:13.680 AOC,
00:11:14.580 some big libs.
00:11:16.200 We are not
00:11:16.860 merely fighting
00:11:17.700 those liberal
00:11:19.540 Democrats.
00:11:20.560 We are also
00:11:21.820 fighting against
00:11:22.920 the squishy
00:11:24.200 liberal Republicans.
00:11:26.360 Leftists don't
00:11:27.200 have that same
00:11:27.800 battle because
00:11:28.380 the leftists
00:11:29.340 and the liberal
00:11:30.080 establishment
00:11:30.680 have a lot
00:11:31.640 more overlap
00:11:32.600 than the
00:11:33.560 conservatives
00:11:34.040 and the liberal
00:11:34.900 establishment
00:11:35.440 have.
00:11:36.400 And so we
00:11:36.920 are fighting
00:11:37.440 a seriously
00:11:38.300 uphill battle.
00:11:40.020 The only
00:11:40.620 silver lining
00:11:41.420 here is
00:11:43.280 from a
00:11:44.940 political
00:11:45.180 standpoint,
00:11:45.660 well,
00:11:45.860 one,
00:11:46.080 the truth
00:11:46.360 is on our
00:11:46.760 side,
00:11:47.040 God is on
00:11:47.400 our side,
00:11:47.920 but from
00:11:49.040 a political
00:11:49.500 standpoint,
00:11:50.120 especially in
00:11:50.980 this fallen
00:11:51.540 world that
00:11:52.240 is ruled by
00:11:52.880 the Prince
00:11:53.160 of Darkness
00:11:53.620 for the
00:11:54.260 moment,
00:11:55.040 the only
00:11:55.560 real political
00:11:56.320 silver lining
00:11:56.980 that we've
00:11:57.320 got is that
00:11:58.660 the people
00:11:59.120 are on our
00:11:59.980 side as
00:12:00.500 well.
00:12:01.660 Now,
00:12:02.200 that might
00:12:02.440 not matter
00:12:02.920 because the
00:12:03.500 people have
00:12:05.040 a decreasing
00:12:05.940 say in how
00:12:07.160 the government
00:12:07.560 is run,
00:12:08.060 but the
00:12:08.300 people are
00:12:08.760 pretty clearly
00:12:09.360 on our
00:12:10.520 side,
00:12:10.960 and they're
00:12:11.180 moving more
00:12:11.820 so.
00:12:12.280 Not just
00:12:13.000 the people
00:12:13.440 saying,
00:12:14.020 hey,
00:12:14.780 we don't
00:12:16.220 think you
00:12:16.740 should trans
00:12:17.140 the kids,
00:12:17.720 not even
00:12:18.180 just the
00:12:18.480 people saying,
00:12:19.020 hey,
00:12:19.100 we don't
00:12:19.340 think you
00:12:19.660 should trans
00:12:20.320 really anybody,
00:12:21.440 the people
00:12:21.780 going even
00:12:22.300 further.
00:12:22.800 There's a
00:12:23.120 new survey
00:12:24.800 out,
00:12:25.120 this is from
00:12:25.460 Gallup,
00:12:27.020 Gallup's
00:12:27.860 new survey
00:12:29.800 numbers show
00:12:30.440 that support
00:12:32.020 for same
00:12:33.060 sex relations,
00:12:35.320 not just
00:12:35.700 the T,
00:12:36.820 not just
00:12:37.360 the TQ
00:12:37.940 or the
00:12:38.780 transing
00:12:39.680 the little
00:12:39.940 kids,
00:12:40.240 but the
00:12:40.500 LGB part
00:12:41.660 has declined
00:12:43.860 sharply.
00:12:45.540 Last year,
00:12:47.620 71% of
00:12:49.080 US adults
00:12:49.740 said gay
00:12:50.480 or lesbian
00:12:51.040 relations are
00:12:52.180 morally
00:12:52.520 acceptable.
00:12:53.400 That number
00:12:53.880 has fallen
00:12:54.420 back this
00:12:55.800 year to
00:12:56.480 64%.
00:12:57.440 So that's
00:12:57.940 a 7%
00:12:58.720 drop,
00:12:59.900 it's a
00:13:00.100 10%
00:13:00.840 drop in
00:13:02.200 the number
00:13:03.520 of Americans
00:13:04.080 saying that
00:13:05.660 any kind
00:13:07.280 of same
00:13:08.640 sex sexual
00:13:09.720 relations are
00:13:11.120 even morally
00:13:12.580 acceptable.
00:13:13.820 Last time we
00:13:14.660 saw that number
00:13:15.120 was in 2019.
00:13:17.380 So we've
00:13:18.380 fallen back
00:13:18.900 four years,
00:13:19.680 and obviously
00:13:19.920 there's a long
00:13:20.860 way to go to
00:13:21.780 get to any
00:13:22.360 place where you
00:13:23.120 might say that
00:13:24.320 this is a major
00:13:25.160 conservative or
00:13:26.080 right wing force.
00:13:26.880 But the shift
00:13:27.600 is pretty
00:13:28.140 dramatic.
00:13:29.600 The main
00:13:30.480 reason here is
00:13:31.060 because of
00:13:31.460 Republicans.
00:13:32.040 Republicans who
00:13:32.580 had previously
00:13:33.040 been embracing
00:13:33.640 the rainbow
00:13:34.120 over the last
00:13:34.860 decade or so
00:13:35.780 have turned
00:13:36.440 against the
00:13:36.940 rainbow flag
00:13:38.440 again.
00:13:39.500 56% of
00:13:40.920 Republicans
00:13:41.380 said that
00:13:42.260 same-sex
00:13:42.600 relations were
00:13:43.160 acceptable last
00:13:43.780 year.
00:13:44.080 That figure
00:13:44.600 has dropped
00:13:45.000 to 41%
00:13:46.300 this past
00:13:47.340 year.
00:13:47.600 15-point
00:13:48.260 drop.
00:13:50.040 And a vast
00:13:51.280 majority of
00:13:51.700 Democrats say
00:13:52.160 it's morally
00:13:52.440 acceptable.
00:13:53.620 A majority
00:13:54.040 of independents
00:13:55.280 say it as
00:13:56.300 well.
00:13:56.660 So for
00:13:56.940 Republicans,
00:13:57.560 this is the
00:13:58.140 lowest amount
00:13:58.820 of same-sex
00:13:59.620 relationship
00:14:00.000 support since
00:14:01.380 2014.
00:14:02.840 Expect that
00:14:03.580 decline to
00:14:04.240 keep up.
00:14:05.580 Expect that
00:14:06.120 at least for
00:14:06.700 the next year
00:14:07.340 or two.
00:14:08.440 Who knows?
00:14:09.100 Depending on
00:14:09.500 how the
00:14:09.740 2024 election
00:14:10.560 shapes up,
00:14:11.960 if the
00:14:12.460 Democrats
00:14:12.800 succeed at
00:14:13.460 rigging the
00:14:13.840 election,
00:14:14.660 then you
00:14:15.520 might see the
00:14:16.040 Republican Party
00:14:16.540 swing back in a
00:14:17.300 more liberal
00:14:17.680 direction.
00:14:18.200 But for right
00:14:18.660 now, the
00:14:18.920 GOP is headed
00:14:19.560 in a more
00:14:19.980 conservative
00:14:20.360 direction, and
00:14:21.320 you're going to
00:14:21.540 see that number
00:14:21.960 keep up.
00:14:22.480 And you might
00:14:22.900 say, wait a
00:14:23.340 second, what
00:14:23.900 does same-sex
00:14:25.240 relations have
00:14:26.440 to do with
00:14:27.380 transing the
00:14:28.040 kids?
00:14:28.340 Yes, we don't
00:14:29.040 want men going
00:14:29.600 into the
00:14:29.900 girls' room.
00:14:30.980 Yes, we don't
00:14:31.720 want men taking
00:14:32.980 away women's
00:14:33.560 trophies, competing
00:14:34.760 against women in
00:14:35.580 sports.
00:14:36.260 Yeah, that part's
00:14:36.900 gone crazy.
00:14:37.580 But why are
00:14:38.180 people now reacting
00:14:39.120 against same-sex
00:14:41.280 relations?
00:14:42.840 Well, because
00:14:43.560 they're all of a
00:14:44.300 piece.
00:14:44.760 They're all of that
00:14:45.220 initialism, LGBT.
00:14:46.700 They're all
00:14:47.140 represented by the
00:14:48.040 rainbow flag.
00:14:49.020 They all derive
00:14:49.700 from the same
00:14:50.180 premises of the
00:14:50.940 sexual revolution,
00:14:51.960 and because the
00:14:52.580 sexual revolutionaries
00:14:53.700 just took it a
00:14:54.880 little bit too
00:14:55.420 far.
00:14:56.340 And because they
00:14:57.160 took it too far,
00:14:58.800 because they took
00:14:59.520 their ideas to
00:15:00.260 their logical
00:15:00.960 conclusions, this
00:15:02.600 is now causing
00:15:03.640 thoughtful
00:15:04.640 conservatives to
00:15:05.800 reevaluate the
00:15:07.680 premises that they
00:15:08.500 began with.
00:15:09.900 The way we got
00:15:10.760 transgenderism, I've
00:15:11.760 said it before, I
00:15:12.260 said it in my
00:15:12.600 CPAC speech, it's
00:15:13.300 caused a lot of
00:15:13.760 consternation, we
00:15:14.600 don't need to go
00:15:15.140 too in-depth into
00:15:15.820 it, is that the
00:15:16.820 way we got
00:15:17.220 transgenderism is we
00:15:19.300 began with the
00:15:20.140 premise that
00:15:20.940 men and women are
00:15:21.560 basically the same.
00:15:23.140 This was the
00:15:23.600 premise of the
00:15:24.040 feminists, it was
00:15:25.160 adopted by the
00:15:25.760 sexual revolutionaries
00:15:26.780 that gave us the
00:15:27.720 kind of village
00:15:28.200 people stuff, then
00:15:29.420 that premise led
00:15:30.420 inexorably to the
00:15:31.800 redefinition of
00:15:32.480 marriage, because if
00:15:33.060 men and women are
00:15:33.540 exactly the same, then
00:15:34.820 the union of two
00:15:35.500 men has to be the
00:15:36.800 same thing as the
00:15:37.500 union of a man and
00:15:38.200 a woman has to be
00:15:39.420 the same thing as
00:15:40.000 the union of two
00:15:40.640 women.
00:15:41.080 And if men and
00:15:41.660 women are basically
00:15:42.200 the same, then it's
00:15:43.240 not a very far leap to
00:15:44.460 say that a man can
00:15:45.100 become a woman, or
00:15:46.340 socially identify as
00:15:47.520 a woman, or
00:15:48.280 practically just be a
00:15:49.540 woman in public
00:15:50.080 life, and vice
00:15:50.940 versa.
00:15:51.580 That's how we got
00:15:52.340 there.
00:15:52.880 Now that people know
00:15:53.660 that it's absurd that
00:15:54.560 Husky Hank in your
00:15:55.540 daughter's bathroom is
00:15:56.420 obviously not a chick,
00:15:57.860 they recognize that.
00:15:59.000 It's so clear before
00:15:59.840 them.
00:16:00.160 They recognize that it's
00:16:01.100 obviously wrong to
00:16:01.960 chop off the genitals
00:16:02.840 of minors and to
00:16:04.020 pump them full of
00:16:04.640 poison and sterilize
00:16:05.580 them and turn them
00:16:06.060 into eunuchs.
00:16:06.700 We all know that.
00:16:07.920 That's causing people
00:16:08.840 to reevaluate all the
00:16:10.760 first stuff.
00:16:12.000 And it's a reminder of
00:16:13.520 advice from Cardinal
00:16:14.820 Manning, which is that
00:16:16.360 there is a day to come
00:16:17.460 that will reverse the
00:16:18.540 confident judgments of
00:16:19.560 men.
00:16:20.100 You had all sorts of
00:16:20.820 uniparty establishments,
00:16:22.140 squishy Republican D.C.
00:16:23.500 swamp types, who for
00:16:24.620 years said the GOP has
00:16:26.180 to ditch the social
00:16:26.980 issues, this isn't
00:16:28.040 popular, the American
00:16:28.960 people don't like it,
00:16:29.780 we've all just got to
00:16:30.580 run and embrace whatever
00:16:31.960 the next liberal fad is,
00:16:34.060 and we just focus on
00:16:35.260 cutting taxes and it's
00:16:36.140 going to win us
00:16:36.580 elections.
00:16:37.320 And that isn't true.
00:16:38.060 The American people are
00:16:38.840 moving in a decidedly
00:16:40.900 socially conservative
00:16:42.200 direction.
00:16:43.300 It's just gone too far.
00:16:44.860 And so you're going to
00:16:46.060 see a big reaction to
00:16:48.140 that.
00:16:49.580 There is an argument to
00:16:51.140 be made for tolerating
00:16:52.560 the sexual eccentricity
00:16:53.920 as a prudential matter.
00:16:56.120 People don't want to
00:16:56.980 send the morality police
00:16:58.020 door to door to go into
00:16:59.060 people's bedrooms and
00:16:59.940 say, hey, what are you
00:17:00.940 doing in there?
00:17:01.420 You got any whips and
00:17:02.040 chains in here?
00:17:02.640 We're going to
00:17:02.920 confiscate those.
00:17:03.960 Okay, nobody is really
00:17:05.660 arguing for that.
00:17:08.380 But the argument would
00:17:12.440 be, the best argument you
00:17:14.360 could make for that
00:17:15.840 would be, as a matter
00:17:18.680 of prudence, a
00:17:21.140 toleration that comes
00:17:22.900 from the acknowledgement
00:17:24.180 that this is a fallen
00:17:25.100 world and people do all
00:17:26.620 sorts of weird and
00:17:27.480 wacky things and
00:17:28.680 there's diversity and
00:17:29.780 eccentricity in life and
00:17:31.580 so we're just going to
00:17:33.320 look the other way
00:17:34.280 sometimes when people do
00:17:35.820 kind of weird stuff.
00:17:37.520 What the sexual
00:17:38.560 revolutionaries did,
00:17:39.740 what the liberals did,
00:17:40.700 is they insisted on
00:17:42.320 taking the prudential
00:17:44.440 toleration that
00:17:45.620 Americans had long
00:17:47.440 had for diversity and
00:17:49.280 eccentricity and
00:17:50.100 deviance and they
00:17:52.120 insisted that we now
00:17:54.320 redefine all of those
00:17:55.940 things as positively
00:17:57.540 good, as wonderful, as
00:17:59.600 a human right.
00:18:01.160 For the vast majority of
00:18:02.900 American history, weird
00:18:04.040 sexual behavior was
00:18:04.980 illegal and illegal
00:18:06.100 pretty much everywhere.
00:18:06.960 And then during the
00:18:07.820 mid-2000s, justices on
00:18:10.540 the Supreme Court decided
00:18:11.840 that there's a
00:18:12.340 constitutional right to
00:18:13.460 weird sex stuff.
00:18:14.560 Where is that?
00:18:15.320 I don't know.
00:18:15.880 I guess James Madison
00:18:16.940 probably wrote it in
00:18:17.980 Invisible Ink and then
00:18:19.220 the justices in the mid-2000s
00:18:20.880 discovered that, I
00:18:22.100 don't know, they had
00:18:22.420 their decoder liquid and
00:18:24.740 they found out that
00:18:25.580 there's this right to
00:18:26.320 weird sex stuff in the
00:18:27.640 Constitution and then a
00:18:28.780 decade later they
00:18:29.700 discovered, the romantic
00:18:31.220 poet Anthony Kennedy on
00:18:32.440 the Supreme Court
00:18:33.100 discovered that secretly
00:18:34.340 there was a right that
00:18:35.900 redefined marriage to
00:18:38.240 be not what it had
00:18:39.620 always been for all of
00:18:40.500 human history everywhere
00:18:41.300 but this new thing which
00:18:43.000 involves the rainbow flag.
00:18:46.120 And they defined this as
00:18:47.780 a positive right and the
00:18:49.380 problem for these
00:18:50.620 revolutionaries there is
00:18:51.520 yes, they got a
00:18:52.520 political win, yes, they
00:18:54.200 established their new
00:18:55.620 sexual mores in the law,
00:18:57.180 but everyone knows it's
00:18:58.560 BS.
00:18:59.220 Nobody seriously thinks
00:19:00.480 this stuff is like great,
00:19:02.420 okay?
00:19:03.020 You might say, no, people
00:19:04.360 have certain weaknesses and
00:19:05.480 certain desires and we're
00:19:06.440 just going to kind of
00:19:07.040 like let it go and look
00:19:07.840 the other way.
00:19:08.340 But obviously it's not
00:19:09.940 normal, it's not the
00:19:11.160 center of human life.
00:19:12.120 There's one relationship
00:19:13.560 that is so profound and
00:19:16.080 beautiful and natural and
00:19:18.840 reflects something beyond
00:19:22.340 our purely natural
00:19:23.380 understanding, which is the
00:19:25.660 ability to procreate and
00:19:27.060 create human life.
00:19:28.800 And only one kind of
00:19:30.520 relationship can do that.
00:19:32.760 And as a matter of even
00:19:35.520 fine-tuning that
00:19:36.240 relationship, we know that
00:19:37.220 for the purpose of
00:19:38.240 flourishing for not only
00:19:40.060 the creation of a child,
00:19:41.620 but the raising of that
00:19:42.700 child, the development of
00:19:44.120 that child, the best
00:19:45.360 relationship for that is
00:19:46.620 the union of a husband and
00:19:48.100 a wife in marriage, which
00:19:49.940 is for not only the good of
00:19:51.420 the spouses, but the sake of
00:19:52.560 the generation and the
00:19:53.740 education of children.
00:19:54.960 And we all know that's
00:19:55.960 true.
00:19:56.300 And a bunch of libs on the
00:19:57.420 Supreme Court can deny it
00:19:58.520 and a bunch of activists can
00:19:59.660 scream about it in front of
00:20:00.580 the court and corporations
00:20:01.940 can force some lie about
00:20:04.240 it onto every product,
00:20:05.460 including our beer cans.
00:20:06.440 But we all know that that
00:20:07.920 is true.
00:20:08.860 And so we're happy to be
00:20:10.180 tolerant, nice, accepting
00:20:11.840 people and open-minded and
00:20:14.320 practical and realistic.
00:20:16.500 But you can't make us lie.
00:20:18.260 Okay, you've got it.
00:20:19.440 If the liberals just
00:20:20.360 wouldn't hold a gun to our
00:20:21.980 heads and just make us lie
00:20:23.180 all the time and say, if
00:20:23.880 you don't lie, we're going
00:20:24.560 to get you fired from your
00:20:25.740 job.
00:20:26.060 We're going to get you
00:20:26.460 kicked off of YouTube.
00:20:27.380 We're going to get you
00:20:28.120 kicked out of school.
00:20:28.900 We're going to de-platform
00:20:30.600 you.
00:20:31.300 Because that's so offensive
00:20:32.680 to so many people that the
00:20:34.060 pendulum is swinging back in
00:20:35.460 the other direction.
00:20:37.920 Now, something that I can tell
00:20:39.140 you is not a lie, is
00:20:40.880 completely 100% true.

00:23:04.400 Speaking of Bud Light,
00:23:06.660 speaking of Bud Light, Bud Light
00:23:09.340 has just yet again issued a major
00:23:12.900 statement to dig the hole even
00:23:15.440 deeper.
00:23:15.940 Bud Light cratered.
00:23:16.840 They've now lost their position as
00:23:18.100 the number one beer in America.
00:23:19.520 They lost it to Modelo Especial.
00:23:21.580 I love that Modelo is a very
00:23:24.120 Latin American sounding beer is
00:23:26.160 now the number one beer in
00:23:27.120 America.
00:23:27.500 I just think that is awesome.
00:23:28.740 Love it.
00:23:29.580 Bud Light is number two.
00:23:31.100 Bud Light trying to dig
00:23:32.320 themselves out, but they know
00:23:33.200 that they can't apologize because
00:23:34.440 they're ESG woke corporate
00:23:36.180 overlords pushing a radical
00:23:38.080 liberal agenda.
00:23:38.920 The people who control the money,
00:23:40.520 the people who control the social
00:23:41.520 platforms, they're saying you've
00:23:43.560 got to embrace the rainbow flag.
00:23:45.080 But Bud Light's customers, the
00:23:47.240 people, hate the rainbow flag and
00:23:49.340 they hate having transvestitism on
00:23:51.640 their beer can.
00:23:52.580 So they're caught between a rock
00:23:53.540 and a hard place and they issued
00:23:54.800 another statement that is
00:23:56.700 attempting to satisfy everyone and
00:23:58.300 pleases exactly nobody.
00:23:59.800 They say we recognize that over the
00:24:01.140 last two months the discussion
00:24:03.260 surrounding our company and Bud Light
00:24:04.920 has moved away from beer and this
00:24:06.640 has impacted our customers, our
00:24:07.780 business partners, and our
00:24:08.560 employees.
00:24:09.280 We're a beer company and beer is for
00:24:11.400 everyone.
00:24:13.700 No, the problem is that your beer
00:24:15.280 is not for everyone.
00:24:16.680 Your beer is not for me.
00:24:18.140 It's not for the construction
00:24:19.320 worker.
00:24:19.940 It's not for the frat boy.
00:24:21.100 It's not for your ordinary
00:24:21.900 customer base that you denigrated.
00:24:23.660 It's not.
00:24:25.600 You are signaling to your
00:24:28.020 customer base that your beer is
00:24:29.200 no longer for them and your
00:24:30.760 customers are signaling to you
00:24:32.240 much more clearly with their
00:24:33.300 wallet that your beer is no
00:24:36.220 longer for them either.
00:24:37.520 It's not for everyone.
00:24:38.460 A friend to all is a friend to
00:24:39.420 none.
00:24:40.380 Okay, you can have the best
00:24:42.180 interests of everyone at heart.
00:24:44.040 You can try to pursue the common
00:24:46.420 good and flourishing for
00:24:47.400 everybody.
00:24:48.020 But if you just try to appease
00:24:49.760 everybody and and try to
00:24:53.100 embrace mutually contradictory
00:24:54.540 ideas and desires, you're not
00:24:57.700 going to please everybody.
00:24:58.600 You're going to please nobody.
00:25:00.480 He said that the company is
00:25:01.320 announcing three important
00:25:02.120 actions as they continue to
00:25:03.580 move the business forward.
00:25:04.520 First, we're investing to
00:25:07.260 protect the jobs of our
00:25:08.240 frontline employees.
00:25:09.600 That's that doesn't
00:25:13.560 sound like moving the
00:25:14.320 business forward.
00:25:15.040 That sounds like trying to
00:25:16.100 stop the hemorrhaging that's
00:25:17.580 going on in your business
00:25:18.540 right now.
00:25:19.500 Frontline employees like
00:25:21.180 their first responders or
00:25:22.160 something like that.
00:25:22.820 We're going to try to we're
00:25:23.940 going to try to protect the
00:25:25.020 jobs of them.
00:25:25.640 Why?
00:25:25.940 Because your company is
00:25:26.620 cratering because you're
00:25:27.520 screwing up because you are
00:25:28.600 killing the number one beer
00:25:30.380 in America.
00:25:31.320 That's why you have to do
00:25:32.300 that's a defensive action.
00:25:33.620 Two, we are providing
00:25:34.940 financial assistance to our
00:25:36.080 independent wholesalers to
00:25:37.360 help them support their
00:25:38.220 employees.
00:25:38.960 Also, you're just trying to
00:25:40.200 stop the bleeding.
00:25:40.900 This is a defensive action
00:25:42.040 because no one wants your
00:25:43.120 product anymore.
00:25:44.060 And then three, they say our
00:25:46.220 summer advertising launches
00:25:47.400 next week.
00:25:48.280 You look forward to Bud Light
00:25:49.160 reinforcing what you've
00:25:50.220 always loved about our brand
00:25:51.420 that it's easy to drink and
00:25:52.660 easy to enjoy.
00:25:53.580 As we move forward, we'll
00:25:54.740 focus on what we do best,
00:25:55.900 brewing great beer and
00:25:56.720 earning our place in moments
00:25:57.820 that matter to you.
00:25:58.400 You want to earn your place,
00:25:59.880 apologize and say that you
00:26:01.880 don't believe all the liberal
00:26:03.620 claptrap that you were
00:26:05.300 embracing with your Dylan
00:26:06.900 Mulvaney campaign.
00:26:08.600 That's how you do it.
00:26:09.360 That's how you earn the
00:26:09.880 place back.
00:26:10.520 Until you do that, we're not
00:26:11.560 buying your beer anymore and
00:26:12.560 your beer is going to
00:26:13.140 continue to tank.
00:26:14.560 These guys are screwed,
00:26:15.920 okay?
00:26:16.580 I realized it over this
00:26:18.320 weekend.
00:26:18.940 Coincidentally, I was in the
00:26:20.960 same town as Joe Biden this
00:26:22.200 weekend.
00:26:23.280 Sleepy little Hartford,
00:26:24.360 Connecticut.
00:26:24.640 I landed at the Hartford
00:26:25.680 airport and there was a lot
00:26:27.380 of traffic.
00:26:27.980 I said, there's no traffic
00:26:28.620 around here.
00:26:29.360 It was because Joe Biden
00:26:30.160 was in town.
00:26:30.720 So I was in the town for
00:26:33.120 the God Save the Queen
00:26:34.320 remark, coincidentally.
00:26:35.780 And then I went to my
00:26:36.300 cousin's wedding in
00:26:38.300 Connecticut and I realized
00:26:40.320 the depth of Bud Light's
00:26:42.940 problems because the
00:26:43.920 Knowles family has a wide
00:26:46.780 spectrum of political
00:26:47.880 views.
00:26:48.700 The Knowles family, I
00:26:49.500 think, is pretty
00:26:50.240 representative of America.
00:26:52.300 Lots of, a handful of,
00:26:54.800 you know, hardcore
00:26:55.540 conservatives, handful of
00:26:57.440 hardcore liberals, lots of
00:26:59.040 people kind of in the
00:26:59.920 middle.
00:27:00.480 Center right, center
00:27:01.620 left.
00:27:02.440 And one of the main jokes
00:27:05.280 of the weekend was over
00:27:08.740 who was going to drink a
00:27:09.760 Bud Light.
00:27:10.900 There was like one case of
00:27:12.400 Bud Light in one of the
00:27:13.580 coolers at this wedding.
00:27:15.060 And my liberal relatives
00:27:17.260 and my conservative
00:27:18.100 relatives were all
00:27:19.160 joking about it.
00:27:19.700 They said, oh, that's the
00:27:20.280 woke test.
00:27:21.500 Oh, yeah.
00:27:21.780 Is anyone going to
00:27:22.380 actually go?
00:27:22.740 I want to see if anyone
00:27:23.620 drinks that beer.
00:27:25.340 At one point, a cousin,
00:27:26.940 one of my cousins, he
00:27:27.660 says, hey, Michael, don't
00:27:29.320 worry, I got your beer.
00:27:30.000 I think this is going to
00:27:30.560 be your favorite beer.
00:27:31.680 And I, and as a Bud
00:27:32.600 Light, you know, and then
00:27:33.780 I pop it open and pretend
00:27:35.160 that it turned me gay.
00:27:36.260 And then everybody laughs.
00:27:37.640 And that's the, people are
00:27:38.680 doing this at bars now.
00:27:40.120 It's a meme, man.
00:27:42.260 And then, by the way, I
00:27:43.280 wouldn't finish the beer.
00:27:44.640 My, another more liberal
00:27:46.640 cousin of mine comes over
00:27:47.460 and says, hey, I'll, I'll
00:27:48.560 finish the beer.
00:27:49.020 I know you can't drink that.
00:27:50.020 I don't really want it, but
00:27:51.100 whatever, I'll drink it.
00:27:51.780 It's okay.
00:27:52.920 They're screwed.
00:27:53.780 It, when, when your company
00:27:55.480 becomes a punchline, you know
00:27:58.340 that things are not in the
00:28:00.480 right direction for you.
00:28:02.140 Okay.
00:28:02.860 And Bud Light is, is a good
00:28:06.200 stand-in for the whole
00:28:07.420 movement.
00:28:09.560 The rainbow flag movement
00:28:11.180 wasn't always a punchline.
00:28:12.660 It didn't always get PR that
00:28:14.300 was this bad.
00:28:15.660 The rainbow flag movement for a
00:28:17.720 long time got really, really
00:28:18.700 good PR.
00:28:20.100 For a long time, it was
00:28:21.180 will and grace.
00:28:22.440 You know, it was really chic
00:28:23.280 and cosmopolitan and
00:28:25.360 sophisticated.
00:28:26.340 And even straight guys wanted
00:28:27.480 to seem like gay guys.
00:28:28.760 They, they, remember the,
00:28:29.500 the metrosexual movement of
00:28:31.300 the 2000s, where you had
00:28:32.660 guys who were normal, you
00:28:35.700 know, desired women, did not
00:28:37.000 desire men, but they would
00:28:38.700 kind of dress up like they
00:28:39.640 were a little light in the
00:28:40.360 loafers.
00:28:41.120 And they would do this not
00:28:42.260 just because they were
00:28:42.940 European.
00:28:43.460 This happened even in
00:28:44.180 America.
00:28:46.060 It, it got really good PR.
00:28:47.940 Now, the rainbow flag
00:28:49.260 stands for creeps in
00:28:50.820 libraries talking to
00:28:51.880 little kids and putting
00:28:53.080 porn in elementary schools.
00:28:55.080 Stands for people chopping
00:28:56.500 their bodies up, sterilizing
00:28:57.820 themselves, looking ghastly.
00:29:01.340 That's what it has become.
00:29:04.000 Bud Light is reflecting
00:29:05.700 that.
00:29:06.180 You want to talk about
00:29:06.640 jokes?
00:29:06.940 This is actually the saddest
00:29:07.900 news story I've read over
00:29:09.620 the weekend, and there were
00:29:10.400 a number of sad ones.
00:29:14.240 Adults are now, for their
00:29:18.340 recreation, going to bouncy
00:29:20.940 castles.
00:29:23.160 I saw this story in, in the
00:29:27.240 Wall Street Journal.
00:29:28.120 Wall Street Journal is not a
00:29:29.160 sensationalist tabloid paper,
00:29:30.780 far from it.
00:29:31.960 Very stable, stayed
00:29:34.220 establishment paper.
00:29:36.200 The new night out, adults only
00:29:37.860 bouncy houses.
00:29:39.760 Grownups try to rekindle a
00:29:41.280 childhood pastime, this time
00:29:43.120 with achy muscles.
00:29:43.900 That hurt my back.
00:29:46.560 Adults are discovering that
00:29:48.260 jumping in bouncy houses, a
00:29:49.660 childhood pastime, is not the
00:29:50.840 same when you're older and
00:29:52.220 less nimble.
00:29:54.020 Grownups aren't just hopping
00:29:55.660 with their kids, but are
00:29:56.900 increasingly bouncing around
00:29:58.260 with other full-grown humans.
00:30:00.960 Adults are renting bouncy
00:30:02.040 houses for weddings, birthdays,
00:30:03.760 and company parties.
00:30:05.300 Some are having as much fun as
00:30:06.820 youngsters, occasionally helped
00:30:08.680 by pre-bounce booze.
00:30:10.540 Adults don't bounce back the way
00:30:11.820 they used to, and then it talks
00:30:12.740 about how they, you know,
00:30:13.620 their backs hurt or something
00:30:14.580 afterward.
00:30:17.500 This is just the latest
00:30:18.920 iteration of a trend that we
00:30:19.980 saw through McDonald's, where
00:30:21.660 McDonald's was, was going to
00:30:23.840 sell happy meals for adults.
00:30:26.780 Kids meals that were not for
00:30:28.280 kids, that are for adults.
00:30:30.360 The trend of adults going
00:30:33.420 regularly without kids to
00:30:35.920 children's theme parks.
00:30:39.320 Why are adults doing this?
00:30:41.820 Adults are doing this because
00:30:45.080 they don't have kids.
00:30:47.040 There are some right-wingers
00:30:48.400 and conservatives who are just
00:30:49.600 going to make fun of these
00:30:50.460 adults.
00:30:50.920 Say these adults are losers.
00:30:52.880 They never grew up.
00:30:54.500 They're overgrown children.
00:30:55.860 This is pathetic.
00:30:56.600 They're going to mock them for
00:30:57.720 wanting to do these things.
00:30:59.060 That's not my take on it,
00:31:00.820 actually.
00:31:03.120 My take is that these adults
00:31:04.820 have perfectly normal
00:31:07.100 nostalgia, perfectly normal
00:31:10.140 desires to have fun.
00:31:12.400 There are other ways to have
00:31:13.680 fun than just like going to a
00:31:14.880 bar or something like that.
00:31:16.000 So I recognize there are other,
00:31:17.480 being a kid is kind of fun and
00:31:19.060 adults remember that.
00:31:22.300 But this is the wrong way to
00:31:24.240 follow those desires and that
00:31:25.780 inclination.
00:31:27.400 The right way to follow those
00:31:28.920 desires and that inclination is
00:31:30.520 to have kids.
00:31:33.060 One of the secret little joys of
00:31:35.320 having kids is you get to do kid
00:31:37.940 things again.
00:31:39.120 And kid things are fun.
00:31:41.380 It's fun to go throw a ball
00:31:43.180 around in a park.
00:31:44.620 It's fun to like wrestle on the
00:31:46.500 floor and play with cars and
00:31:48.020 stuff.
00:31:48.780 It's fun to go ride bikes around
00:31:50.480 the neighborhood.
00:31:51.480 It's fun to go to bouncy castles
00:31:52.780 and eat Happy Meals.
00:31:53.800 And that is a fun thing to do.
00:31:56.460 But it's weird if you do it
00:31:59.580 without kids.
00:32:01.000 Not everyone gets to have kids.
00:32:01.980 Some people suffer infertility.
00:32:03.240 You can do it with your nieces and
00:32:04.600 nephews.
00:32:05.240 You can do it in your community
00:32:07.680 and go kind of roughhouse with the
00:32:09.260 kids.
00:32:09.720 Okay, yeah, that's kind of, that
00:32:10.680 isn't that fun.
00:32:11.520 But if you do it as an adult,
00:32:16.900 it's sad.
00:32:19.200 Because you haven't grown up.
00:32:22.980 It's just, you can't, you
00:32:24.440 actually can't go back in time.
00:32:25.920 This is the whole premise.
00:32:27.040 I've said it before on this show.
00:32:28.380 This is the premise of that
00:32:29.300 Kenny Loggins song.
00:32:31.180 The back and poo corner.
00:32:32.400 Help me if you can.
00:32:34.940 I've got to get back.
00:32:35.980 It's this whole song about how this
00:32:38.460 kid is graduating high school and
00:32:40.100 he's out in the hundred acre wood
00:32:41.920 with Winnie the Pooh.
00:32:42.780 But he can't, he can't get back.
00:32:44.540 He doesn't, he wants to go get back
00:32:46.720 and hang out with his friends,
00:32:48.360 Eeyore and Winnie the Pooh.
00:32:50.840 And I don't really remember the
00:32:53.380 Winnie the Pooh story that much
00:32:54.220 because I'm an adult.
00:32:55.700 But he wants to go back
00:32:58.500 and he realizes he can't
00:32:59.680 because he's become an adult
00:33:00.700 and that is now closed off to him.
00:33:03.140 But the final verse of the song
00:33:05.620 is that he looks into his son's crib
00:33:09.400 and he sees that his son has a little
00:33:11.620 Winnie the Pooh doll or a Tigger doll
00:33:13.540 or something like that.
00:33:14.520 And he says, oh, I'm back now.
00:33:16.660 I get to go back to Pooh Corner now.
00:33:18.440 But it's through this different lens
00:33:19.860 in a different place.
00:33:20.780 And now I am in a new stage of life
00:33:22.920 and I'm passing this on
00:33:24.040 to the next generation.
00:33:25.540 But we don't have a sense of the future
00:33:28.000 in our country anymore.
00:33:29.380 We don't have hope for the future.
00:33:31.860 We don't have a sense of responsibility
00:33:34.460 toward the future.
00:33:35.840 That's why we don't really get married.
00:33:37.140 We don't really have kids.
00:33:38.260 And the inheritance that we leave
00:33:39.540 to the kids that we do have
00:33:40.420 is a mountain of debt.
00:33:43.080 That is a political problem,
00:33:44.720 not just from the libs,
00:33:46.720 who are the drivers of a lot
00:33:47.800 of the sexual dysfunction,
00:33:48.740 but that's a problem for the conservatives
00:33:51.300 who are the drivers
00:33:53.720 of some of the economic dysfunction
00:33:55.040 and the economic dysfunction
00:33:57.840 that's led to a breakdown
00:33:58.680 in social solidarity
00:33:59.700 and an idea that we have
00:34:01.540 a great responsibility
00:34:03.240 both to our ancestors
00:34:04.280 and to the future
00:34:05.640 that comes after us.
00:34:07.460 All encapsulated in a big bouncy house
00:34:09.860 that a lot of overgrown children
00:34:11.360 are hopping around in
00:34:13.360 and they're hurting their backs.
00:34:14.280 They're hurting their backs
00:34:14.880 because they're not meant to be there.
00:34:17.540 They're meant to be helping
00:34:19.360 the next generation
00:34:20.280 and getting to relive
00:34:22.240 some of their memories
00:34:22.960 a little bit
00:34:23.860 in conjunction with them.
00:34:27.860 Now, speaking of people
00:34:28.720 throwing their weight around,
00:34:30.600 big news story
00:34:31.500 in the presidential race.
00:34:35.280 I've predicted,
00:34:36.360 you know,
00:34:37.120 oh, you know,
00:34:37.660 I hate to say I told you so
00:34:38.540 and we're seeing some of my,
00:34:39.460 some of my predictions
00:34:40.800 have been coming true recently.
00:34:42.760 And there's one prediction
00:34:43.640 I have that's very unpopular
00:34:44.820 with a lot of you.
00:34:47.080 And,
00:34:47.400 but I've stuck to it
00:34:48.460 because I can't lie to you.
00:34:49.720 I can't lie for big tech.
00:34:51.380 I can't lie for the applause
00:34:53.040 of the crowds.
00:34:53.560 I'm just going to tell you
00:34:54.160 what I think.
00:34:54.560 And one thing I've said is that
00:34:55.800 I have felt
00:34:57.180 that Chris Christie
00:34:59.240 could have a real moment
00:35:01.380 in this presidential race.
00:35:02.700 And everyone laughed at me
00:35:03.620 and I said,
00:35:04.220 I think we're on the brink
00:35:05.100 of a Chris-a-sance,
00:35:06.260 a Chris-a-sance,
00:35:06.920 if you will.
00:35:07.800 And folks,
00:35:09.140 it's happening.
00:35:11.660 First though,
00:35:12.260 my favorite comment
00:35:12.920 yesterday is from Ramp.

00:36:26.480 My favorite comment
00:36:27.100 from yesterday
00:36:27.540 is Diane Eiser
00:36:29.300 8255
00:36:30.460 who says
00:36:30.900 followed you
00:36:31.820 the whole time
00:36:32.320 on Daily Wire Plus
00:36:33.020 the un-gagged content
00:36:34.900 was the best ever.
00:36:37.420 Thank you very much
00:36:38.440 for those of you
00:36:39.100 who stuck it out.
00:36:40.960 I was banned
00:36:41.480 for a week on YouTube
00:36:42.340 because I articulated
00:36:44.500 basic truths
00:36:45.420 and so they took me
00:36:47.380 off of YouTube
00:36:47.740 for a week
00:36:48.180 but I said
00:36:49.520 look,
00:36:49.760 we always put our show
00:36:50.800 on Daily Wire Plus
00:36:52.240 and now we're putting
00:36:53.000 the show on Twitter
00:36:53.880 as a backstop
00:36:54.920 and you can always get
00:36:55.840 the show uncensored
00:36:57.200 on the RSS
00:36:58.020 on Apple Podcasts,
00:36:59.480 Spotify,
00:37:00.020 wherever you get
00:37:00.760 your podcasts.
00:37:01.800 So I refuse
00:37:02.940 to censor myself
00:37:04.280 but it is a fact
00:37:06.140 that on YouTube
00:37:06.800 because of the new
00:37:07.480 YouTube rules
00:37:08.140 we just can't put
00:37:10.160 all of that content
00:37:11.180 here.
00:37:11.360 So if you want
00:37:11.940 the full show
00:37:12.900 with my fully
00:37:14.020 articulated
00:37:14.660 fleshed out opinions
00:37:15.560 where the editors
00:37:16.900 don't go in
00:37:17.780 or the publishers
00:37:18.500 or the big tech
00:37:19.580 platforms go in
00:37:20.460 and take away
00:37:21.080 certain sentences
00:37:21.880 you've got to get
00:37:22.780 that on Daily Wire Plus
00:37:23.660 Twitter
00:37:24.400 at M. Knowles Show
00:37:26.340 and Apple Podcasts.
00:37:28.740 But I guess
00:37:29.180 for right now
00:37:29.600 we're back on YouTube
00:37:30.560 until they want
00:37:31.740 to take me off
00:37:32.340 entirely
00:37:32.760 not because they
00:37:34.040 can refute
00:37:34.620 anything I'm saying
00:37:35.300 not because
00:37:35.640 anything I'm saying
00:37:36.440 is particularly
00:37:37.060 egregious
00:37:38.380 or anything like it
00:37:39.300 but because
00:37:40.320 the liberals
00:37:41.020 are trying to rig
00:37:41.580 the 2024 election
00:37:42.520 and they're trying
00:37:43.340 to rig the 2024 election
00:37:44.560 through a variety
00:37:46.020 of means
00:37:46.680 including through
00:37:47.660 big tech censorship
00:37:48.460 through obviously
00:37:49.420 the indictment
00:37:50.120 of the political
00:37:50.880 opposition
00:37:51.420 and they're doing
00:37:52.420 it because
00:37:53.060 the emperor
00:37:53.880 has no clothes
00:37:54.660 and everybody
00:37:55.040 knows it
00:37:55.480 so the only thing
00:37:55.960 they can do
00:37:56.420 is try to
00:37:58.140 cheat.
00:37:58.840 Now
00:38:00.200 speaking of 2024
00:38:03.460 Chris Christie
00:38:04.960 surging
00:38:07.040 in New Hampshire
00:38:08.320 By the way
00:38:10.920 I don't want this
00:38:11.560 to be misconstrued
00:38:12.200 I'm not saying
00:38:12.900 I'm supportive
00:38:13.560 of a Chris Christie run
00:38:14.680 I'm not saying
00:38:15.660 I want Chris Christie
00:38:17.180 to be the Republican
00:38:17.900 nominee
00:38:18.280 or the president
00:38:18.880 or anything like that
00:38:19.600 I'm just telling you
00:38:21.160 what I see happening
00:38:22.820 in my Nostradamus
00:38:23.880 crystal ball
00:38:24.620 and what I see
00:38:25.640 is Chris Christie
00:38:26.260 is surging.
00:38:28.840 Trump is still
00:38:30.180 far and away
00:38:31.120 the leader in the field
00:38:32.100 nationally
00:38:33.480 and in New Hampshire
00:38:34.380 by a country mile
00:38:36.120 he's got 47%
00:38:36.940 of the vote
00:38:37.260 Ron DeSantis
00:38:38.000 has 13%
00:38:38.760 of the vote
00:38:39.160 and then there's
00:38:40.080 Christie
00:38:40.580 not so far behind
00:38:43.200 number three
00:38:44.420 at 9%
00:38:45.560 next highest
00:38:46.640 is Mike Pence
00:38:47.320 at 5
00:38:47.940 Nikki Haley
00:38:48.740 at 3
00:38:49.260 Vivek at 3
00:38:50.340 Tim Scott
00:38:51.120 at 3
00:38:51.700 someone else
00:38:53.180 at 5
00:38:53.680 so someone else
00:38:54.680 is actually
00:38:55.020 doing better
00:38:55.880 than all those
00:38:57.240 candidates
00:38:57.540 below Mike Pence
00:38:58.340 now that
00:39:00.660 the wrinkle here
00:39:01.800 is that Chris Christie
00:39:03.400 also tops the
00:39:04.500 never ever list
00:39:05.980 so there's
00:39:07.440 another poll
00:39:08.320 of candidates
00:39:09.220 that you would
00:39:09.640 never under any
00:39:10.500 circumstances
00:39:11.020 vote for
00:39:11.480 and Chris Christie
00:39:12.320 is at the top
00:39:12.840 of that list
00:39:13.400 I don't think
00:39:15.300 that really matters
00:39:16.120 I think that's
00:39:17.040 less a reflection
00:39:17.800 of Chris Christie
00:39:18.480 and more a reflection
00:39:19.620 of our current
00:39:20.360 political order
00:39:21.520 because the never ever list
00:39:23.680 the second person
00:39:24.360 on the never ever list
00:39:25.160 is Mike Pence
00:39:25.860 and the third person
00:39:26.420 is Trump
00:39:26.900 but Trump
00:39:27.520 is far and away
00:39:28.220 the biggest leader
00:39:28.760 in the field
00:39:29.200 so what does that
00:39:29.960 tell you
00:39:30.220 all that tells you
00:39:31.140 is that the electorate
00:39:32.060 is getting more polarized
00:39:32.920 which you already knew
00:39:33.720 and it tells you
00:39:34.560 that there's a civil war
00:39:35.380 in the Republican Party
00:39:36.320 and there are all sorts
00:39:37.280 of Republicans
00:39:37.760 who don't really agree
00:39:39.040 with one another anymore
00:39:40.020 and this is truer today
00:39:41.440 than it's been
00:39:41.860 at any time in my lifetime
00:39:43.000 when you've got people
00:39:44.220 in the Republican Party
00:39:45.100 who are socially conservative
00:39:46.760 don't really care
00:39:47.900 all that much
00:39:48.460 about you know
00:39:50.020 big government
00:39:51.100 or something
00:39:51.500 they actually want
00:39:52.040 to wield the government
00:39:52.980 for their political ends
00:39:54.660 that's people like Trump
00:39:55.660 that's people like Ron DeSantis
00:39:56.520 and then you've got
00:39:57.740 still the kind of
00:39:58.800 holdover establishment
00:40:01.320 quasi-libertarian
00:40:03.580 you know
00:40:03.860 just shrink the government
00:40:04.640 and give all the money
00:40:05.200 to corporations
00:40:05.820 you've still got those people
00:40:07.020 in the GOP
00:40:08.040 you've still got the
00:40:08.660 Chamber of Commerce
00:40:09.360 people in the GOP
00:40:10.360 you've still got the
00:40:11.520 milquetoast people
00:40:12.180 in the GOP
00:40:12.620 and they just don't agree
00:40:13.420 with one another
00:40:13.920 so yeah of course
00:40:14.920 the base is going to be
00:40:15.760 is going to be divided here
00:40:17.220 Chris Christie
00:40:17.940 if he's already at number
00:40:18.740 three in New Hampshire
00:40:19.380 right now
00:40:19.980 if something should happen
00:40:21.460 with the Ron DeSantis campaign
00:40:22.740 if DeSantis does not
00:40:24.040 start gaining ground
00:40:24.980 and gaining ground quickly
00:40:26.180 if he continues
00:40:27.380 to kind of remain stagnant
00:40:28.720 even lose a little bit
00:40:29.680 of ground
00:40:30.140 Chris Christie
00:40:31.180 could end up number
00:40:31.840 two in New Hampshire
00:40:32.540 who the hell knows
00:40:34.320 Chris Christie
00:40:34.760 could be number one
00:40:35.420 in New Hampshire
00:40:35.880 for that matter
00:40:36.520 depending on how
00:40:37.340 the indictments go
00:40:37.980 with Trump
00:40:38.440 Chris Assange
00:40:40.560 my friends
00:40:41.200 it might
00:40:43.260 be upon us
00:40:44.380 and I know
00:40:44.700 everyone is really
00:40:45.880 complaining about
00:40:47.600 this GOP race
00:40:48.520 oh it's a mess
00:40:49.320 oh no we're going to
00:40:50.100 lose to the Dems
00:40:50.800 maybe we will
00:40:52.200 I think we could
00:40:52.740 lose to the Democrats
00:40:53.420 even if everything
00:40:54.020 goes perfectly
00:40:54.640 but
00:40:55.860 this is politics guys
00:40:57.580 the fact that
00:40:58.520 anyone is even
00:40:59.740 seriously considering
00:41:01.360 a Trump
00:41:02.280 Kennedy
00:41:03.120 ticket
00:41:03.920 is so wild
00:41:05.680 and crazy
00:41:06.340 I find it
00:41:07.040 delightful
00:41:08.140 if you don't
00:41:08.640 like that stuff
00:41:09.160 you don't
00:41:09.400 like politics
00:41:10.000 now
00:41:10.560 take Trump
00:41:12.860 and Biden
00:41:13.240 out of it
00:41:13.580 for a second
00:41:14.020 take Chris Christie
00:41:14.620 out of it too
00:41:15.020 for a second
00:41:15.400 there's another race
00:41:17.340 which is
00:41:18.140 Ron DeSantis
00:41:18.940 sniping at
00:41:19.580 Gavin Newsom
00:41:20.100 Gavin Newsom
00:41:20.640 sniping at
00:41:21.280 Ron DeSantis
00:41:21.800 because
00:41:22.440 if Trump
00:41:23.660 is not the nominee
00:41:24.300 DeSantis
00:41:24.740 looks like
00:41:25.220 he's going to
00:41:25.580 take it
00:41:25.900 and if Biden
00:41:26.620 for whatever reason
00:41:27.200 is not the nominee
00:41:27.760 it looks like
00:41:28.320 Gavin Newsom
00:41:29.360 is going to
00:41:29.800 take it
00:41:30.220 here is
00:41:32.220 Ron DeSantis'
00:41:32.920 advice
00:41:34.100 for Gavin Newsom
00:41:35.420 with all those
00:41:36.400 problems
00:41:36.980 he has a real
00:41:38.580 serious fixation
00:41:39.840 on the state
00:41:40.400 of Florida
00:41:40.920 I mean I think
00:41:41.820 it's just bizarre
00:41:42.700 that he does that
00:41:43.580 but what I would
00:41:44.420 tell him is
00:41:45.780 you know what
00:41:46.340 stop pussyfooting
00:41:48.200 around
00:41:48.680 are you going to
00:41:49.980 are you going to
00:41:54.320 throw your hat
00:41:55.040 in the ring
00:41:55.460 and challenge
00:41:56.260 Joe
00:41:57.160 are you going
00:41:58.060 to get in
00:41:58.500 and do it
00:41:59.040 or are you just
00:41:59.600 going to sit
00:41:59.980 on the sidelines
00:42:00.800 and chirp
00:42:01.400 so why don't you
00:42:02.020 throw your hat
00:42:02.700 in the ring
00:42:03.180 and then we'll
00:42:04.100 go ahead
00:42:04.560 and talk about
00:42:05.440 what's happening
00:42:06.360 so
00:42:06.760 good line
00:42:08.720 glad to see
00:42:09.700 that DeSantis
00:42:10.260 is attacking
00:42:10.980 Gavin Newsom
00:42:11.760 but of course
00:42:13.000 there is no reason
00:42:14.240 for Gavin Newsom
00:42:15.020 to throw his hat
00:42:15.600 in the ring
00:42:15.920 right now
00:42:16.460 Gavin Newsom
00:42:17.520 is not traveling
00:42:18.600 all around the country
00:42:19.460 attacking Ron DeSantis
00:42:20.660 building a national base
00:42:22.820 building the beginnings
00:42:24.320 of a campaign
00:42:25.060 in order to convince
00:42:26.720 voters to vote
00:42:27.440 for him over Joe Biden
00:42:28.360 that is not how
00:42:29.280 the Democrat Party works
00:42:30.320 it's not how
00:42:31.600 incumbency really works
00:42:32.620 and it's really not
00:42:33.340 how the Democrat Party works
00:42:34.460 there is not going
00:42:36.520 to be some insurgent
00:42:37.620 Newsom campaign
00:42:39.200 against Joe Biden
00:42:40.140 I don't think
00:42:40.980 anything could happen
00:42:41.940 Biden could fall
00:42:42.860 off a stage
00:42:43.500 and then maybe
00:42:44.140 there's more
00:42:44.540 of an opportunity
00:42:45.100 but I think
00:42:46.060 what's going on
00:42:46.780 right now
00:42:47.600 is that Gavin Newsom
00:42:49.060 is traveling
00:42:49.680 over the country
00:42:50.280 taking the shots
00:42:50.960 at Ron DeSantis
00:42:51.480 building up the campaign
00:42:52.560 in order to convince
00:42:54.180 Democrat Party elites
00:42:56.600 that he is a viable
00:42:58.660 alternative
00:42:59.240 I think the Democrat Party
00:43:00.840 muckety mucks
00:43:02.060 the people who exert
00:43:03.860 a lot more control
00:43:04.560 over the Democratic Party
00:43:05.500 than the Republican
00:43:06.340 elites can exert
00:43:07.120 over the Republican Party
00:43:08.140 they're looking at Biden
00:43:10.780 and they're saying
00:43:11.140 this guy is just
00:43:12.020 not functioning
00:43:12.880 and he's saying
00:43:13.320 God save the Queen
00:43:14.080 in Hartford, Connecticut
00:43:14.880 at a gun control rally
00:43:15.920 and he's just
00:43:16.620 he's really not there
00:43:18.460 and he's got
00:43:20.120 a lot of corruption
00:43:21.300 allegations against him
00:43:22.640 and it just doesn't
00:43:23.440 he just doesn't look good
00:43:24.700 he was able
00:43:26.780 to be the guy
00:43:27.900 who took over
00:43:28.620 the presidency
00:43:29.120 from Trump
00:43:29.780 but we're getting
00:43:30.780 diminishing returns
00:43:31.600 with this guy
00:43:31.960 I wish we could
00:43:32.360 replace him
00:43:32.840 but drats
00:43:33.720 there's no one
00:43:34.840 to replace him with
00:43:35.520 the vice president
00:43:37.060 who is much younger
00:43:39.120 arguably in better
00:43:40.160 control of her faculties
00:43:41.200 is less coherent
00:43:42.120 than Joe Biden
00:43:42.840 much less politically
00:43:44.600 talented than Joe Biden
00:43:45.740 and then who's
00:43:46.580 the other guy
00:43:46.900 Pete Buttigieg
00:43:47.540 oh yeah Mayor Pete
00:43:48.480 there we go
00:43:49.020 he's the
00:43:49.380 that's the Republican
00:43:50.060 savior
00:43:50.500 or the Democrat
00:43:52.020 savior rather
00:43:52.600 Mayor Pete
00:43:53.220 this local mayor
00:43:54.700 who's a really
00:43:55.800 brilliant careerist
00:43:56.800 who got himself
00:43:57.420 a cabinet position
00:43:58.360 and blew it
00:43:59.700 you should never
00:44:00.160 even hear the name
00:44:00.880 of the transportation
00:44:01.520 secretary
00:44:02.220 but Pete Buttigieg
00:44:03.140 keeps stepping in it
00:44:04.000 we keep having
00:44:04.440 transportation catastrophes
00:44:05.840 so that's not working
00:44:06.940 and the main thing
00:44:07.440 he's known for
00:44:07.900 is taking a bunch
00:44:09.120 of time off of work
00:44:10.140 to chest feed his baby
00:44:11.620 or whatever he was doing
00:44:12.520 paternity leave
00:44:13.780 okay
00:44:14.120 not viable
00:44:15.140 to quote Donald Trump
00:44:16.960 Alfred E. Newman
00:44:17.580 is not going to become
00:44:18.240 the president of the United States
00:44:19.140 so they've been sticking
00:44:19.980 with Biden
00:44:20.580 but Gavin Newsom
00:44:22.260 despite his record
00:44:23.660 of failure in California
00:44:24.740 on a policy level
00:44:25.760 is a pretty compelling candidate
00:44:27.420 he's rich
00:44:28.320 he's tall
00:44:29.240 he's good looking
00:44:30.280 he's articulate
00:44:31.500 he comes from
00:44:33.480 a gigantic state
00:44:34.840 so he's got
00:44:36.040 a decent
00:44:37.160 political base
00:44:38.220 he's survived
00:44:38.980 a recall effort
00:44:39.900 yeah he's pretty good
00:44:43.040 that's not a bad choice
00:44:44.000 so if
00:44:44.500 if
00:44:44.820 Newsom
00:44:46.240 behind the scenes
00:44:47.100 can persuade
00:44:48.420 the muckety mucks
00:44:49.100 in the party
00:44:49.580 that he's a real alternative
00:44:50.540 I think then you're going to see
00:44:51.680 many more people
00:44:52.320 start to turn on Joe Biden
00:44:53.480 then maybe
00:44:54.800 he throws his hat
00:44:55.460 in the race
00:44:55.940 as of right now
00:44:57.440 it would be political suicide
00:44:58.440 for him
00:44:58.980 to do it
00:45:00.200 even as Biden
00:45:02.460 is slipping
00:45:02.960 more and more
00:45:03.800 in case you missed it
00:45:04.600 forget about
00:45:05.200 the
00:45:05.760 God saving the Queen
00:45:07.620 remark
00:45:08.340 Joe Biden
00:45:09.260 also wants to warn people
00:45:10.500 about gun trucks
00:45:11.400 you know there's
00:45:12.040 you got the good humor truck
00:45:13.760 comes around
00:45:15.020 gives ice cream
00:45:15.680 and then you got the gun trucks
00:45:16.820 in New York and Philly
00:45:17.680 because a federally licensed
00:45:20.000 gun dealer is required
00:45:20.980 by law
00:45:21.620 to run background checks
00:45:22.840 on those
00:45:23.360 he's selling a weapon to
00:45:24.660 and in most cities
00:45:26.480 down in Philadelphia
00:45:27.620 and New York
00:45:28.320 areas I know well
00:45:29.660 like up here
00:45:31.020 you'd see
00:45:32.220 a truck pull up
00:45:33.300 pull to the curb
00:45:34.560 and selling weapons
00:45:36.000 selling guns
00:45:38.060 selling AR-15
00:45:39.660 selling weapons
00:45:40.980 well
00:45:42.660 guess what
00:45:43.620 you do that now
00:45:44.800 you go to jail
00:45:45.660 yeah guess what
00:45:47.500 if you drive that gun truck
00:45:49.080 up in
00:45:49.620 up in Rehoboth Beach
00:45:51.120 I'm going to sit
00:45:51.660 corn pop on you man
00:45:52.660 you take that to the Queen
00:45:54.980 Jack
00:45:55.360 so he's obviously slipping
00:45:57.660 but before Newsom
00:45:58.880 there was no serious alternative
00:46:00.020 now there is an alternative
00:46:01.160 so when I tell you
00:46:02.380 look out
00:46:02.780 maybe Chris Christie
00:46:03.480 is going to come from somewhere
00:46:04.480 when I tell you
00:46:05.280 look out
00:46:05.740 a Trump-Kennedy ticket
00:46:07.360 is not implausible
00:46:08.360 when I tell you
00:46:09.400 look out
00:46:10.880 maybe Joe Biden
00:46:14.400 is not the nominee
00:46:15.020 anything could happen
00:46:16.600 we are 18 months away
00:46:17.920 from this presidential election
00:46:19.340 we are living
00:46:20.260 in unprecedented times
00:46:21.940 we are living
00:46:23.120 through the first
00:46:24.140 federal indictment
00:46:25.500 of a former president
00:46:26.440 of the United States
00:46:27.240 to say nothing
00:46:27.920 of the fact
00:46:28.360 that he is the leader
00:46:28.820 of the opposition
00:46:29.500 things are shifting
00:46:31.700 in real time
00:46:32.600 conservatives
00:46:33.940 especially
00:46:34.700 but Americans broadly
00:46:35.900 are rapidly changing
00:46:37.380 what they believe
00:46:38.100 the way that elections
00:46:39.340 are conducted
00:46:39.980 is rapidly changing
00:46:41.580 we are in
00:46:42.900 sometimes you are
00:46:44.000 in periods of stagnancy
00:46:45.000 sometimes you are
00:46:45.720 in period
00:46:46.080 stagnation rather
00:46:47.060 sometimes you are
00:46:47.820 in periods of
00:46:48.540 intense change
00:46:49.420 we are in the latter
00:46:50.700 and God save
00:46:51.900 the Queen Man
00:46:52.540 man is probably
00:46:53.960 not long
00:46:54.620 for this political world
00:46:55.860 the rest of the show
00:46:57.480 continues now
