00:07:53.620 he was president of the United States. Totally fine. They accused Donald Trump of having classified

00:07:56.900 documents that he had every right to have when he was president of the United States. And what,

00:08:00.380 now they're back? Now they've gone full circle. They're back to,

00:08:03.040 you heard her, you're a fascist. Okay, I guess Donald Trump's getting elected then.

00:08:27.900 to get everyone close to Donald Trump, his lawyers, his aides, his staffers. They're going to try to

00:08:35.900 get them to say all sorts of terrible things about Trump. One such person they're doing that to

00:08:40.960 is my friend Jenna Ellis. So, you know, Jenna Ellis was the lawyer for Donald Trump.

00:08:47.200 She has decided to work with the prosecution. She took a plea deal. And it was very sad because it was

00:08:53.680 obviously just some Stalin-esque show trial where they made her cry on camera. And it was sad,

00:08:59.340 not just for Jenna. It was sad for the state of the country that we now do this sort of thing

00:09:04.340 that we once saw primarily in the Soviet Union. I know a lot of people are very angry with Jenna for

00:09:10.640 working with the prosecution. I can't even imagine the kind of pressure she was under. I suspect a lot

00:09:16.240 of the people attacking Jenna for doing that would have done exactly the same thing in her shoes.

00:09:19.780 But regardless, put that aside for a second. Here is the videotape that they've got. Now the

00:09:25.220 walls are closing in. They've got Trump now. Jenna explaining. Here's the smoking gun of Donald

00:09:39.480 Dan Scavino's role? At the time, I believe his title was social media director for the White House.

00:09:46.240 It became deputy chief of staff at the time that the conversation and question took place.

00:09:53.420 The conversation was around December 19th of 2020 at the White House Christmas party. And I

00:09:59.280 emphasized him. I thought that the claims and the ability to challenge the election results was

00:10:13.540 going to leave. And I said, what do you mean? And he said, well, the boss, meaning President Trump and

00:10:18.580 everyone understood the boss. That's what we all called him. He said, the boss is not going to leave

00:10:25.480 under any circumstances. We are just going to stay in power. And I said to him, well, it doesn't quite

00:10:30.200 work that way, you realize. And he said, we don't care.

00:10:32.560 Okay. So all of the liberal stations are playing this clip now. Obviously, it was leaked. This is

00:10:39.420 an interview between a prosecutor and the former lawyer for Trump. Put aside for a moment, whatever

00:10:44.720 feelings you have about Jenna cooperating with the prosecution, put that aside for a moment and just

00:10:51.340 ask yourself, what does this matter? Even let's say that Jenna's testimony to the prosecutor had

00:11:02.460 been 10 or 20 times more titillating than that was. I talked to a guy at the White House Christmas

00:11:09.380 Party and the guy at the White House Christmas Party told me that they were not going to leave

00:11:12.440 office. See, there it is. There's proof that Donald Trump is an insurrectionist who was going to stop

00:11:16.740 the peaceful transfer of power, who was going to overthrow our elections, who was going to shred

00:11:20.100 the constitution. What does any of that matter when the fact is he did leave the White House

00:11:29.340 and he didn't stay an extra week? He didn't ask for a late checkout. He left the White House

00:11:36.620 when Joe Biden was sworn in. So even if everything Jenna's saying there is true,

00:11:44.140 even if the prosecution thinks they've got a big smoking gun, what actual legal significance does it

00:11:52.320 have if Donald Trump didn't do any of those things that they're accusing him of wanting to have done?

00:12:24.000 to the Trump campaign or super PAC or something. But the fact is nothing that Donald Trump did

00:12:40.700 election, which was obviously rigged. Nothing that he did was all that out of the ordinary in American

00:12:47.860 politics. Those of us who live through Bush v. Gore know that challenging elections is not

00:12:52.760 particularly out of the ordinary, at least when it's Democrats who are doing it.

00:12:57.440 Nothing he did was illegal or unconstitutional as far as I can tell. And certainly nothing he did

00:17:32.460 these people who say that men are not women because they have tried to kill me. They have, in a deep

00:17:39.860 sense, when you really think about it, they're responsible for the deaths of many of my trans

00:17:44.840 identifying brethren because they are guilty of a transgenocide by their very denial that a man can

00:17:52.780 become a woman. This is not just a fringe talking point of some obvious looney tune on TikTok. This

00:18:01.220 is a mainstream leftist opinion. When I gave my speech at CPAC last year, by the way, I can't wait for my

00:22:00.520 boy, Jonathan Lewis, was just beaten to death by a mob of 15 people just a few blocks away from his

00:22:06.640 high school after this kid stood up for a smaller friend of his who was getting beaten up, and this

00:22:14.160 mob had put the kid into a trash can, so he stood up to them, and then the mob beat him to death.

00:22:18.820 And you haven't heard about this story, probably. If you've heard about it, you've heard about it on

00:22:22.180 this show and maybe a few other conservative outlets. And the reason that you haven't heard

00:22:25.260 about this story is because the victim was white. He was a white boy, 17 years old, and all of the

00:22:32.560 perpetrators are Black. And that doesn't fit the narrative. You're not allowed to even observe that

00:22:38.800 happening. So it's been mostly out of the mainstream media. Local news covered it. You can see CBS Channel 8

00:22:47.820 covered it, Live Local Now. Some conservative outlets have covered it because it's so egregious.

00:23:45.320 brilliantly took the term, reappropriated the term, and used it to attack CNN and NBC and The New York

00:23:52.760 Times and The Washington Post. And that stuck. That's now the way that we use fake news.

00:23:58.200 But when we say that the news is fake, we don't just mean that one story is not real.

00:24:04.280 You know, Trump's collusion story. That didn't really happen.

00:24:08.260 When we say the news is fake, we mean the whole news. And the reason it's fake is because

00:24:14.040 they only show you things that buttress their predetermined narrative, which they arrived at

00:24:20.540 before examining any facts. They just arrived at it based on their own false ideology. And then

00:24:26.600 anything that fits in with that narrative, they will include in the news. So they have this ideology

00:24:31.780 that says that white people are evil and we're terrible oppressors and black people are innocent

00:24:36.400 victims. And so any story that in any way can be shoehorned into fitting that narrative,

00:24:42.160 the George Floyd story, the Breonna Taylor story. Breonna Taylor's working with a major criminal.

00:24:47.740 And somehow that was a story of white men attacking an innocent black woman. But they shoehorned it in

00:24:54.600 anyway. Or any story like this. Kyle Rittenhouse, they called him a white supremacist who was

00:25:00.020 slaughtering innocent black people at a BLM riot. Little did they even know that the people that

00:25:06.640 Kyle Rittenhouse shot were all white. And some of them were pedophiles, convicted pedophiles. No,

00:25:11.700 no, no, I didn't. Okay, darn, we got to move on from there then. But

00:25:14.840 the stories that go into the news are only the ones that back up their narrative. So as a consequence of

00:25:23.740 that, all the news is fake. You can't really believe any of it. Because the little pieces of

00:25:30.300 information, sometimes true, sometimes false, are only there and only presented to you in order to

00:25:37.200 promote a narrative that has really no connection to the facts. And that is ultimately false to begin

00:25:44.940 with. A really, really sad story. We should obviously pray for the young man and for his whole

00:25:50.080 family and take it as a lesson to just tune out the news, as many of us have done. Now,

00:25:58.160 speaking of fake news, here's a story. Here's a real fake news story. This is one I truly know

00:26:03.520 nothing about. I know nothing about really any of the people involved. One person I know a tiny bit

00:26:10.980 about. Here's a story. Chris Appleton files for a divorce from Lucas Gage after six months of

00:26:19.740 marriage. I said, well, Chris can be a woman's name. But in this case, I believe Chris is not a

00:33:22.980 finish her match. And she said this was greatly unfair and proof that God does not exist.

00:33:28.100 Before we get to Megan's argument, I have to ask, how many times is this woman going to retire from

00:33:36.480 soccer? Because I saw this headline and I said, wait a second, Megan Rapinoe is still playing soccer?

00:38:00.140 omnipotent and omnibenevolent and omnipresent. Uh, some people, I think, have pointed to this as a

00:38:09.240 great example, a great counter-argument to the argument that Megan Rapinoe thinks she's making.

00:38:15.860 The fact that this woman, who in her public life is quite odious, uh, was not able to play what I

00:38:21.360 hope is her final game of soccer, uh, might not be seen as proof that God does not exist. Some would

00:38:27.680 actually come to quite the opposite conclusion here. But even if one did not, uh, it bears repeating

00:38:36.160 because, because one can understand it intellectually, but when you actually do rip your Achilles when

00:38:42.600 you're playing your last game and it's really meaningful to you, you actually, you actually

00:38:45.740 will cry out to God very often and be very angry with God. Even faithful people will do that very

00:38:51.500 often. So, I have a bit of sympathy for Megan Rapinoe here. But when you think about it intellectually

00:38:56.480 and you remove yourself from the immediate pain of it, uh, you can see it all quite clearly.

00:39:02.900 Suffering is not a proof against God's existence because suffering has no moral quality in and of

00:39:09.580 itself. It is the reaction to suffering that has a moral quality. And the reaction to suffering can be

00:39:15.520 one that is degrading and is, uh, vicious. Or the reaction to suffering can be edifying and sanctifying

00:39:22.300 and you can come out strong. Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger would be a shallow way to

00:39:26.620 put it. And that's the case. And why is there sin and death in the world? Because man has free will

00:39:31.260 and abused his free will to rebel against God. And as a consequence of that, sin and death pervade the

00:39:35.900 world. And, and there are eternal consequences for sin, but there are also temporal effects of sin.

00:39:40.600 So, when you commit a sin, you can, you can go and, as it says in the gospel, you can go and confess

00:39:46.520 your sins. And the, uh, successors to the apostles can forgive your sins. They can give you absolution.

00:39:54.520 Uh, and, and that takes care of the eternal consequences of sin, but there's still temporal

00:40:00.040 consequences of sin. If you go out and steal a candy bar and then you go and you say, I'm sorry,

00:40:04.360 I apologize, you know, God forgive me, please. And then you receive absolution from God. Well,

00:40:08.760 the shop owner is still out of candy bar. He's still out a couple of bucks. There's still a

00:40:12.200 temporal effect of that. And, uh, so sin and death pervade the world beautifully, uh, described by

00:40:19.200 John Milton in paradise lost. And, but the, the happy ending to that is that, uh, there's a solution

00:40:27.380 and there's actually redemption that comes through suffering and ultimately through the suffering of

00:40:33.800 the perfect victim is totally innocent. And that's why we say on Easter, Oh, happy fault that one for us

00:40:37.900 a great, so glorious, a redeemer. So probably, probably a more in-depth answer than Megan Rapinoe

00:40:42.420 was looking for. But since that is her final game of soccer, I hope I figured it would be a good

00:40:46.900 opportunity to give it to her. Speaking of feminism, I've got a terrible news story for me.
