00:00:00.000 Multiple illegal aliens have been arrested for multiple crimes against children,
00:00:04.260 including the rape of a 13-year-old girl in New York City and the murder of a 12-year-old
00:00:08.040 girl in Texas. Democrat news editors are ignoring the crimes. Democrat bureaucrats
00:00:13.880 are denying responsibility for the crimes. And Democrat pundits and politicians
00:00:18.440 are laughing about the crimes. Here's the three cable networks reporting of this.
00:00:24.580 Our banner said, soon Biden announces legal protections for undocumented
00:00:29.220 spouses of your citizens. CNN's banner said, Biden announces new protections for some
00:00:33.080 undocumented spouses. Here was Fox's banner. Migrant arrested for raping 13-year-old New
00:00:37.420 York City. Yes. And so I think that's part of the problem, right?
00:00:40.180 Exactly. That's part of the problem.
00:00:41.200 You have a lot of fear mongering. Exactly.
00:00:42.840 Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Yes. You heard that correctly. The reaction to that headline about
00:00:49.960 that horrible crime being committed against that girl. Ha, ha, ha, yes. That's the problem.
00:00:55.020 Um, they're doing the real-life version of that Norm MacDonald joke about Bill Cosby.
00:01:00.600 The joke is, everyone says the worst thing about Bill Cosby's crimes is the hypocrisy.
00:01:04.920 Norm points out the worst part was actually the raping. The people whose job it is to enforce
00:01:09.740 the law, punish criminals, report the news, and craft immigration policy are telling you
00:01:15.480 that they don't care when foreign nationals rape Americans. They actually think it's funny,
00:01:19.900 apparently. They don't care when foreign nationals murder Americans. They certainly don't care when
00:01:26.180 foreign nationals enter our country illegally. They encourage that. The only problem that arouses
00:01:32.440 their ire and condemnation is the fact that some people don't like it and want it to stop.
00:01:38.860 I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:49.900 Welcome back to the show. You know that girl who went viral for using the N-word on TikTok? Maybe
00:02:05.260 you don't. Lucky you. She's gone totally viral, and she debuted as a new right-wing darling.
00:02:12.220 Well, now there's an update to the story. She's repositioned herself as a centrist
00:02:16.340 because the right-wingers don't like her very much. We'll get to that really, really important
00:02:20.100 story in just a moment. First, though, get your candles at dailywire.com slash shop before they're
00:02:28.540 gone. You can go to thecandleclub.com, of course. That's with the in it, thecandleclub.com. You can
00:02:35.880 get Sicilian Summer. That's my seasonal candle. It's delicious. You can also get some of my other
00:02:41.500 favorite candles, the PSL candle, Wise Man, which is a riff on our best-selling candle for Lent.
00:02:49.480 Smells and bells. Smells like a 12th-century monastery. You can get the Heim de Le Heim
00:02:54.200 creamy candle. You can get the Old Soul candle. That one's really nice. You can get my Mayflower
00:02:58.460 line of candles. We've sold about a bazillion of these candles since mentioning them on the show,
00:03:04.260 so get yours before they're gone. They're really great, especially the seasonal one right now because
00:03:07.780 it's going to disappear soon. Sicilian Summer, make your home smell like my imagination. I don't
00:03:13.900 know what to tell you. Let's get back to, before we move on, this really, really awful story because
00:03:21.300 this really, really awful story just keeps getting worse. It's actually multiple stories. It's illegal
00:03:29.060 aliens who murdered a 12-year-old girl in Texas. It's illegal aliens who raped a 13-year-old girl in
00:03:36.780 New York. It's many other stories pertaining to the crimes committed by illegal aliens, and the reason
00:03:45.420 I say these stories get worse and worse is because we have an official policy from the White House of
00:03:52.060 open borders, of practically open borders, meaning I guess technically we sort of have a border, but
00:03:57.920 the policy is the illegal aliens come across. Just let them come in if you can. If border enforcement
00:04:05.040 decides they're actually going to talk to these people, just let them go. Once they arrest the
00:04:09.940 illegal aliens, just let them go right into the country. Fly them, drive them into the interior of
00:04:15.360 the country. Just bring them all in. Don't check. Release them. They're never going to show up to
00:04:20.900 their court date. Give them a path to citizenship if the White House can figure out how to pull off
00:04:25.240 that political play. Let them in, and then they commit crimes, and then they deny responsibility.
00:04:30.160 Well, this is what happened. In the case of a 12-year-old girl who was murdered in Texas,
00:04:36.540 allegedly by illegal aliens, she's a 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungare. The pair of illegal aliens who are
00:04:43.920 accused of murdering her were known to law enforcement, were arrested by law enforcement,
00:04:52.400 by Biden's Department of Homeland Security, and were released into the United States by Biden's DHS.
00:04:58.720 So, had DHS done its job, this 12-year-old girl would be alive today. Her parents would not be
00:05:08.040 in profound mourning, life-altering mourning today. This horrible crime would not have been committed.
00:05:16.300 But DHS let the illegals go, and DHS let the illegals go because Joe Biden told them to.
00:05:24.220 Because all the Democrats, up to and including the President of the United States, said,
00:05:27.140 you have to stop enforcing the law. You have to let these illegals go. And yeah,
00:05:30.700 maybe some 12-year-olds are going to get murdered, but hey, that's the cost of changing the demographics
00:05:35.420 of the country and giving ourselves an electoral advantage. So, if some 12-year-old girls need to
00:05:39.600 be murdered, you know, look, you can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs,
00:05:43.440 and this is going to be good for Democrats politically. So, yeah, we got to murder some
00:05:46.740 12-year-olds, I guess. That's what they're saying. I'm not being even slightly hyperbolic.
00:05:51.900 That's the calculus. And you know, after this, even after this awful story, even after all the
00:05:57.960 pushback, DHS is going to keep doing it. Biden's going to keep the same policy, and more 12-year-olds
00:06:01.880 are going to get murdered. Not only is the political establishment going to continue to
00:06:08.520 push these policies, the journalists who are supposed to speak truth to power, they're going
00:06:13.080 to cover for them. This is how the AP covered this story. Two men arrested in strangulation of 12-year-old
00:06:19.240 Houston girl whose body was found in a creek. And the picture, you don't see it on the printable
00:06:22.720 version, the picture on the website is just of a creek, which tells you immediately these were
00:06:30.720 illegal aliens. At the very least, what this tells you is the perpetrators were not white guys.
00:06:37.320 When white guys commit crimes, the picture is of white guys. And the first line in the article,
00:06:42.340 at least within the first paragraph, white man committed some awful crime.
00:06:47.720 When a non-white man commits a crime, the race doesn't appear.
00:06:54.500 This is not my own observation. This is Ann Coulter's observation. She got in a lot of heat
00:06:59.100 for calling it out some years ago, and it remains true. The longer you read news coverage
00:07:04.940 that does not mention the race of the perpetrator, the more certain you can be that the perpetrator
00:07:13.160 is not white, especially a white man. White man being the absolute boogeyman, villain of all villains
00:07:21.240 in our modern intersectional identity politics world. Now, I'm going to add a coda to the Ann
00:07:28.800 Coulter rule. You can call this the Knowles coda to the Ann Coulter rule, which is the longer
00:07:33.320 that you read a crime story, especially in a border state, and the news editors do not mention
00:07:44.240 the citizenship status of the perpetrator, the more certain you can be that it's an illegal alien,
00:07:50.740 which is exactly what happened here. You know that these are illegal aliens. Allegedly, again,
00:07:56.860 they haven't been convicted yet, but that's certainly what the evidence would seem to point to.
00:08:03.320 Now, is Biden's administration going to take any responsibility here? No. We know for certain
00:08:08.580 that that's not going to happen because Alejandro Mayorkas, the secretary of Homeland Security,
00:08:12.900 went on CNN and said he bears no responsibility.
00:08:16.960 Jim, first and foremost, of course, our hearts break for the children, the family, the loved ones,
00:08:24.560 the friends of the individual who was murdered, the woman, the mother. Jim, a criminal is responsible
00:08:37.780 for the criminal act. The criminal who committed this heinous act should be held accountable to the
00:08:46.520 fullest extent of the law and forcefully so. That is my response.
00:08:52.980 That's his response. By the way, he's referring to another murder that illegal aliens committed,
00:08:58.860 not the ones that we've been talking about today, another one because these stories go on and on and
00:09:03.180 on. And he says, how dare you suggest that I'm responsible, that the Biden administration is
00:09:07.620 responsible. The criminal is responsible for his crimes. Sure. If your landlord removes your roof
00:09:15.140 right before a thunderstorm takes place and you get struck by lightning,
00:09:21.660 I guess the landlord could say, look, I didn't strike you with lightning.
00:09:24.940 It was the lightning that struck you with lightning. Don't blame me. Yeah, I guess you didn't directly
00:09:32.320 strike me with lightning, but you removed my roof, man. You're supposed to provide me with a roof,
00:09:38.540 landlord, and you didn't do that. And you intentionally took away my roof.
00:09:41.660 You are responsible when I get struck by lightning in a thunderstorm.
00:09:44.920 That's exactly the position of Alejandro Mayorkas here and ultimately Joe Biden.
00:09:50.380 They have removed the border. The border exists to protect Americans from these evil criminals.
00:09:58.380 That is one of the chief reasons that we have a border in the first place.
00:10:01.800 You have removed the border and you have impeded other law enforcement officials who want to enforce
00:10:07.020 the border. You've impeded them from doing so. When the Texas political apparatus goes in
00:10:13.420 and starts building up borders because the federal government won't do it,
00:10:16.900 the federal government threatens to take down the borders. They're removing the roof in the
00:10:21.860 thunderstorm. They are responsible. Alejandro Mayorkas is responsible, but ultimately it's
00:10:26.840 not even him. Because if Alejandro Mayorkas decided tomorrow to do the right thing and do his job and
00:10:31.840 enforce the law, he would be fired. And Biden would replace him with someone else. Ultimately,
00:10:36.540 the buck stops with Biden. And a great deal of culpability for these murders and these rapes and
00:10:43.480 every one of these illegal alien crimes that's been committed over the last three years is the
00:10:49.660 fault of Joe Biden. It's also the fault of the criminal, but it is in large part the fault of
00:10:54.940 Joe Biden. He is making a very cynical calculus here. He thinks that the rapes and the murders are
00:10:59.980 worth it for the political advantage that illegal immigration, mass illegal immigration, will give to
00:11:05.420 Democrats. There's so much more to say. First, though, go to goodranchers.com. Use promo code

00:12:24.360 American meat delivered. Speaking of good and evil, I covered last week the new Star Wars show.
00:12:32.460 I do not watch the new Star Wars show. I liked Star Wars when I was a kid,
00:12:37.040 but I'm an adult now. My associate producer, Professor Jacob, is still a kid. I think he's
00:12:42.440 12 years old. And so he loves Star Wars. And he said, Mr. Knolls, Mr. Knolls,
00:12:46.260 you've got to hear about what they're doing to Star Wars. They're turning it super woke,
00:12:52.280 super lib. He said, episode one of this show involves witches summoning demons to create
00:13:01.840 children without fathers. It's a witchcraft, lesbian, IVF, surrogate episode of Star Wars. I said,
00:13:11.500 wow, that's really bad, man. That's real left wing. And then Professor Jacob, in a huff and a puff,
00:13:17.560 he tells me, Michael, episode two somehow got worse. And it got worse in a different way beyond the
00:13:25.820 lesbian, which is doing IVF and surrogacy in Star Wars. Episode two, you saw a little bit more of
00:13:34.000 the weird sex stuff. You saw the imposition of gender pronouns into the Star Wars universe.
00:13:40.160 Is he or they or they? It's so clunky. It's so on the nose. Could you imagine?
00:13:54.980 Had this occurred in the first Star Wars, first of all, no one would have any idea what they're
00:13:59.860 talking about. But if any of them did know that this was about gender ideology, Chewbacca would
00:14:04.460 have just scratched them across the face. Han Solo would have shot whoever said that just like he shot
00:14:09.020 Greedo, okay? This would not be tolerated in the original Star Wars. But now it's Super Lib and PC
00:14:15.520 and all the rest of it. Okay, that's bad enough. You get this radical gender ideology. But the worst
00:14:23.580 part, as Professor Jacob explained to me, again, I don't follow this stuff. But as he explained it to
00:14:29.020 me is they are violating the inner logic of Star Wars. The second episode, and really,
00:14:39.020 this whole series, has been contradicting previously established aspects of the Star Wars universe
00:14:44.820 blithely. Because they don't even care. The new showrunners are so focused on leftist ideology,
00:14:53.200 they don't care if their ideology contradicts the entirety of the Star Wars story.
00:14:58.680 So this is largely in the words of Professor Jacob. I was not going to take the time to watch
00:15:02.500 this nonsense, but I forced him to. He would have done it anyway. And then he explained it to me.
00:15:06.860 If you go back to the first prequel, Phantom Menace with Jar Jar Binks, that takes place in the Star Wars
00:15:15.900 chronology 100 years after this new show, The Acolyte. And there is a scene in which the two
00:15:22.800 protagonists, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, report what happened to the Jedi Council. And after hearing
00:15:29.320 this report of these two fighting a Sith, you know, with the red lightsaber, Darth Vader types,
00:15:34.040 a Jedi by the name of Ki-Adi-Mundi, who has a giant head, he looks like Dan Aykroyd in Coneheads,
00:15:40.860 says the following, quote, impossible, the Sith had been extinct for a millennium. And the Jedi
00:15:45.080 all agree. The problem here is that there is a Sith in The Acolyte, which directly contradicts
00:15:52.660 episode one, A Phantom Menace. Why is this a problem?
00:15:57.220 One, because it messes up the timeline of whether the Sith existed or not. It takes away all of the
00:16:05.460 dramatic stakes of Star Wars episode one. Also, according to the Star Wars chronology,
00:16:13.140 this guy, Ki-Adi-Mundi, wasn't even born yet. Which may, so in Professor Jacob's words,
00:16:19.340 the whole thing is thrown askew. It doesn't make a lot of sense. Also, it makes the Jedi a liar or
00:16:26.940 makes him demented, like Joe Biden. You know, I guess there are some political resonances here
00:16:32.840 that could be even more drawn out in Star Wars. But regardless, it's driven the fans crazy,
00:16:38.640 including Professor Jacob. Now, when asked about this, the showrunner for the new Star Wars,
00:16:45.300 the Acolyte, explains that she hired writers who weren't familiar with Star Wars. She said,
00:16:53.120 I just thought it would be good. This is a direct quote. I just thought it would be good to have
00:16:56.480 the perspective of a person that had literally never seen Star Wars until she was in the room.
00:17:01.600 And she said to me, why do you want me in this room? I've never seen Star Wars. I have no idea.
00:17:07.060 I think there's a dog in it, but I don't know anything. Ha ha ha. And I was like, this is the
00:17:12.920 showrunner, Leslie Hedlund. I was like, first of all, you're an incredible writer,
00:17:18.980 but that's why I want you here. I want you to be questioning narrative. I don't want myself,
00:17:23.300 who's a lifelong fan, to be just relying on particular references to create emotional
00:17:26.720 beats. I want those emotional beats to be earned and checked by someone that isn't super familiar
00:17:30.300 with it. So she's trying to couch this by saying, look, well, we're hiring people who don't know
00:17:34.540 anything about Star Wars, but look, I love Star Wars. Yeah, well, if you love Star Wars and you're such
00:17:38.360 a big fan, how come you keep contradicting the whole story? You obviously don't know that much about
00:17:42.580 Star Wars. My 12-year-old associate producer here on The Michael Knowles Show knows a lot more about
00:17:46.460 Star Wars than the showrunner of the new Star Wars show, and certainly more than the writer who's
00:17:50.800 admitting she doesn't know anything about Star Wars. She's never seen a single movie.
00:17:54.820 Why is this a problem? Because I care about Star Wars? No. Because I care about the Disney company?
00:17:58.740 No. This is a problem because it reflects something intrinsic to liberalism,
00:18:05.140 which is the indeterminacy and skepticism that goes along with liberalism.
00:18:10.400 Liberalism, the political philosophy, it just says nothing can ever be settled, man. It's all
00:18:18.940 kind of socially constructed. It's all just about what you want with your individual will. That's
00:18:23.380 what liberalism comes down to. There's that old line from Robert Frost, which says a liberal is
00:18:27.880 someone who can't take his own side, even in an argument. Okay. Liberalism is so skeptical. We can
00:18:34.680 never know anything for certain. We can never come to any conclusions and then enforce those
00:18:39.860 conclusions. That would be authoritarian. No, man, it's just kind of, it's whatever we want it to be,
00:18:44.720 man. Society, government, religion, even the human body, even biology, man, can be whatever we want it
00:18:52.200 to be. I know that the founders of liberalism, people like John Locke, did not speak with that
00:18:58.100 kind of hippie modern accent, but the modern liberal ideas come from liberal philosophy. You see
00:19:06.160 the seeds of this kind of skepticism and relativism, subjectivism, even in that early liberal philosophy.
00:19:12.020 And it leads to the idea that you could write the, at this point, what is it? 50th installment of a
00:19:23.460 piece of intellectual property like Star Wars, or it's the original trilogy, then the prequel trilogy,
00:19:27.620 then the after trilogy, then the Christmas special, then the cartoons, then the this,
00:19:31.720 then the that, then the books, that you could somehow write the next episode in this beloved
00:19:40.000 franchise without knowing anything about it. The liberal skepticism and indeterminacy
00:19:47.020 excuses a lot of laziness and ignorance and incompetence. And you see that reflected all
00:19:52.800 throughout society. That idea, we don't really need to learn anything. When you learn history in
00:19:57.320 school, you don't need to learn dates and names and stuff. You just need to learn themes. We don't
00:20:02.040 want to teach you what to think, only how to think. Except if you, when you don't teach people
00:20:05.560 what to think, they don't learn how to think either. The skepticism and indeterminacy is ridiculous.
00:20:11.480 You're seeing this expressed now by the liberals who are furious, totally separate issue,
00:20:15.680 over the, the 10 commandments law that was just passed in Louisiana. Louisiana, which now says
00:20:21.660 public schools need to have the 10 commandments on the wall. Whoopi Goldberg expresses perfectly,
00:20:27.060 the liberal reaction to this, by raging at the 10 commandments in a public school.
00:20:32.900 You're telling me you're concerned about children learning things. One of the things that you don't
00:20:40.440 seem to understand is I have the same respect for my child that I have for yours. I'm not asking you
00:20:46.880 to believe what I believe. I'm not asking your kids to believe what I believe. Public school is
00:20:51.500 public school. It means everybody can go to public school. I don't understand why if you want your
00:20:59.880 child to have a religious education, send them to a religious school. There's nothing stopping you.
00:21:08.760 Get out of my pocket, get out of my body, and get out of my school.
00:21:14.500 Get out of my public school. The public school is for everyone, not for you.
00:21:20.940 Wait, what? The public, you people, you're trying to impose the 10 commandments,
00:21:24.880 you're trying to indoctrinate my kids with crazy stuff like thou shalt not commit murder.
00:21:30.020 Thou shalt not lie. Thou shalt not steal. These crazy ideas.
00:21:33.840 How dare you? This is a public school. Public school is for absolutely everyone,
00:21:37.920 and that's why you need to get out. Well, it's a public school, Whoopi.
00:21:41.440 It's not just for you. It's also for normal people. It's also for conservatives. It's also
00:21:48.660 for moderates. It's even for Christians. Even Christians are allowed to go to public school.
00:21:55.020 Even people who believe the religion that formed America. Yeah, that's right. I'm not asking you to
00:22:00.540 believe what I believe. Yes, you are. Obviously, you are. You believe that the 10 commandments
00:22:05.300 shouldn't be taught, and you believe that a public school teacher should not teach thou shalt not
00:22:10.480 commit murder. You think that, for whatever reason, you think that's really awful and terrible,
00:22:14.340 and you are demanding that everyone agree with you. Because for all the skepticism and the
00:22:19.080 subjectivism and the relativism and the supposed freedom of liberalism, man, don't yuck my yum.
00:22:23.920 Everyone can do whatever you want to do. Liberalism is ultimately a totalitarian ideology that forces,
00:22:30.620 that demands acquiescence to its absurd premises and increasingly absurd expressions.
00:22:37.760 And if you don't acquiesce to that, they're going to kick you out of public school,
00:22:41.680 and they're going to punish you at your job, and they're going to ostracize you from polite company.
00:22:46.840 They're going to censor you on social media. Who knows? Maybe they'll throw you in prison.
00:22:51.620 Now, I love having conversations about all these sorts of topics,
00:22:55.840 even the questions and conversations that liberals don't want us to talk about.
00:23:01.080 Like my latest episode of Michael And. In my long-form interview series, Michael And,
00:23:06.200 I sit down with Nick and Lex Rednick, who were a gay-married transgender couple. I say they were
00:23:13.720 a gay-married transgender couple because, as they describe it, God transformed them into the couple
00:23:17.240 they were supposed to be. So now they are a normal couple, a normal married couple, just with some
00:23:22.620 extra steps. Check out the teaser. You identified as a man on hormones. You, Nick, identified as a
00:23:30.360 homosexual. So you got... Gay married. Yeah, because we truly didn't think that the way that
00:23:37.380 we were living was wrong. You came out as a lesbian, not as a transgender. Originally, at first, yes.
00:23:42.760 My own mother looked me in the eye and said, if I would have known that you were going to be
00:23:46.540 my child, I would have aborted you. I go over to my mom, and she's pouring her glass of wine,
00:23:51.000 and I say it. I finally get it out of my mouth. And she says, that's why you're a freak.
00:23:57.920 It was like my innocence was ripped away. All this confusion came in. I feel for every teen boy
00:24:04.280 that is struggling with all of these emotions and feelings and desires. So I fell on my face,
00:24:10.200 and I just cried out to God, and I said, make me sexually attracted to a man. You both acknowledge
00:24:14.660 the desire is real. So do you still have the desires?
00:24:16.660 Watch this episode now on the Michael Knowles YouTube channel. Be sure to watch the uncensored
00:24:29.240 versions. Sometimes you got to drop stuff from YouTube. Make sure you watch those uncensored
00:24:33.400 versions on Spotify and ad-free on Daily Wire Plus. There's so much more to say. First, though,
00:24:39.160 go to preborn.com slash Knowles. This month marks two years since the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
00:24:44.560 Did you know that the number of abortions have increased since then? We hoped they would go
00:24:50.240 down. They've increased. More than 1 million babies were killed by abortion in 2023, the highest number
00:24:55.380 of abortions since 2012. Why is this? The reason is not because people went out and had more surgical
00:25:02.180 abortions. That wouldn't make a lot of sense. It's because, unfortunately, the abortion pill is now
00:25:07.640 more available than ever, accounting for up to 64% of all abortions. But preborn continues to stand
00:25:12.940 strong. Preborn is the largest pro-life organization in the country. They provide free ultrasounds to
00:25:17.360 mothers with unplanned pregnancies to introduce them to the precious life growing inside them.
00:25:21.620 When a mother meets her baby on ultrasound and hears his heartbeat, she is twice as likely to
00:25:26.600 choose life. How can you help? Every day, preborn rescues 200 lives. One ultrasound costs only 28 bucks
00:25:32.720 and could be the difference between life and death. Please join the fight by sponsoring an ultrasound.
00:25:37.020 Whatever gift you give will go towards saving lives. All gifts are tax deductible. I personally
00:25:41.220 support this organization. I strongly encourage you to give whatever you can. Preborn.com slash
00:25:45.640 Knowles to donate today. Preborn.com slash Knowles or dial pound 250. Say the keyword baby. That is
00:25:51.280 pound 250, keyword baby. Whoopi Goldberg in the libs, furious that public schools in Louisiana have to
00:25:57.540 teach people, you know, thou shalt not commit murder. Don't worship idols. Don't commit adultery.
00:26:03.080 They're furious about that. President Trump says it's a great idea. On Truth Social, in all caps,
00:26:08.160 very Trumpian mode of writing, he writes, I love the Ten Commandments in public schools,
00:26:15.000 private schools, and many other places for that matter. Read it. How can we as a nation go wrong?
00:26:19.400 This may be, in fact, the first major step in the revival of religion, which is desperately needed
00:26:23.260 in our country. Bring it. Bring back the Ten Commandments. MAGA 2024. Perfect. Simple as.
00:26:30.100 And the key to his analysis here and his defense of the Ten Commandments is
00:26:35.560 how can we as a nation go wrong? Read the Ten Commandments. If we follow the Ten Commandments,
00:26:43.500 how can we go wrong? He's not giving some nerdy explanation of this, of the separation of church
00:26:50.880 and state or the First Amendment, or even the nerdy right-wing version of it. I'll take full
00:26:54.380 responsibility. I wrote the nerdy right-wing version of it. It's called Speechless, Controlling Words,
00:26:58.200 Controlling Minds. Thank you. Why we ought to encourage things like the Ten Commandments in
00:27:04.100 the public square. And I give all sorts of long historical and legal reasons and philosophical
00:27:08.860 reasons as to why that's the case. But that's for a book. That's for a discussion on a commentary show.
00:27:17.700 That's not for a campaign trail. For the campaign trail, you got to cut to the chase real quick.
00:27:21.900 And Trump's excellent at that. And he cuts to the chase perfectly here when he says,
00:27:26.760 hey, you got a problem with the Ten Commandments? Read the Ten Commandments.
00:27:30.040 Is any of that stuff bad? Seems all good to me. If we follow the Ten Commandments,
00:27:34.200 that'd probably be good for America. Let's do it. Let's have more Ten Commandments.
00:27:39.260 Show me the lie. Show me the lie. You can't. So Trump on the right side of this. I think in terms
00:27:44.480 of what's going to play in Peoria, probably the Trump view is more persuasive than the whoopee view,
00:27:53.260 than the liberal view. There are going to be a lot of people who, whenever they hear anything
00:27:57.340 pertaining to religion, they just recoil because they are enthralled to demons. And so they just
00:28:03.040 kind of reflexively recoil. But those people are never going to vote for Trump anyway. There's not
00:28:06.540 a chance those people are going to vote for Trump. People who are going to vote for Trump are
00:28:09.240 conservative Republicans and normal people who aren't all that partisan, but who have normal
00:28:16.480 inclinations and they want a normal country with their normal way of life. And those people
00:28:19.980 are going to be more on the side of the Ten Commandments than on the side of the people
00:28:24.380 who want to banish the Ten Commandments from public life. So the Libs campaign against Trump
00:28:30.180 is not going very, very well. So they've just got to play the hits. They've got to go back to their old
00:28:34.840 strategies. Clearest example of this is the new Hitler documentary on Netflix. You know, it's a day
00:28:42.520 that ends in Y. So we need to have a new Hitler documentary, especially when it comes to an election
00:28:46.640 year because the Libs have to convince voters that Donald Trump is Hitler 2.0, mega super duper
00:28:53.680 Hitler. You know, he's back. Revenge of the Hitler. Here is just a short clip from this documentary.
00:29:02.040 It's sort of like Hitler's Mar-a-Lago, if you will. A kind of retreat in the Bavarian Alps that has a
00:29:11.220 closeness to nature, the spectacular mountain panorama that gave Hitler the sense that he was
00:29:19.380 on top of the world without having to deal with the messiness of everyday politics.
00:29:23.900 They're talking here about Hitler's vacation home. You've probably seen photos or videos of this over
00:29:29.180 the years. It sometimes crops up in all the other Hitler documentaries. And the way they describe it is
00:29:33.840 sort of like, this is like Hitler's Mar-a-Lago. Well, you mean it's a retreat home? Why wouldn't
00:29:40.520 you say it's like Hitler's Camp David? That's a far better established analogy. The president has a
00:29:48.880 retreat home that he goes to on the weekends and sometimes for a little vacation. But no,
00:29:52.540 it can't be like Camp David because Biden goes to Camp David because Camp David is the official
00:29:56.380 retreat for the president. And Biden's not Hitler. No, no, Trump is Hitler. So it's got to be
00:30:02.340 Hitler's Mar-a-Lago. It's so transparent what they're doing. They've been doing it for years.
00:30:06.560 So I don't think this really moves the needle at all. If you're going to be convinced that Donald
00:30:11.100 Trump, an amiable and popular businessman from New York, real estate mogul who became a popular
00:30:16.820 network TV host, who then became president on his first real try for the job because he's popular
00:30:22.560 and normal. If you're going to be convinced that he's really the Fuhrer, you know, he's a Nazi or
00:30:27.780 something, you were already convinced of that six or eight years ago. So I don't think this
00:30:31.100 documentary moves the needle at all. Why do they have to keep centering it around Hitler?
00:30:36.400 Because I think this was an observation I gleaned from Nick Land, the writer. So I don't think it's
00:30:41.880 original, but I've been thinking about it so much. I don't know. I don't want to speak for him, but
00:30:46.440 in old religion, in old civilization, you have the incarnation of ultimate good in Christ.
00:30:54.380 And then you have evil that's still in the world because of the fall. And evil is the privation
00:31:01.100 of the good. And the good has an absolute instantiation in the second person of the
00:31:06.780 Trinity, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. That's how we previously understood good and evil.
00:31:12.460 In liberal modernity, which flips everything on its head, you've got the opposite. There is no good.
00:31:17.440 There's no incarnation. There's, according to the modern liberals, none of that's real.
00:31:21.420 But there is the incarnation of absolute evil. And the incarnation of absolute evil is in the
00:31:28.700 person of Adolf Hitler. That's, he is, no matter how nasty and evil he was in real life, in the mythos,
00:31:37.600 he actually takes on a superhuman kind of quality, which is he is perfect evil.
00:31:42.540 And in the liberal view of things, there is no such thing as absolute good.
00:31:47.480 They'll, they'll deny good, the good, the true and the beautiful quite frequently, but there is
00:31:52.720 this incarnation of absolute evil. And then there's just the, I don't know, the privation of evil all
00:31:56.680 around that. So there's nothing worse that you can compare someone to than Hitler. And the fact that
00:32:03.200 they've been doing this to Trump, so even though it doesn't really work and they've been trying for
00:32:06.660 so long, and this is like January 6th, that's like, it's the beer hall putsch or something. I don't know.
00:32:11.540 They always talk about, oh, this is the night of the long knives or this. It's all these comparisons
00:32:15.920 to Hitler. Now, Mar-a-Lago is like the Alpine retreat.
00:32:24.120 It shows you that the liberal ideology is just really tired. And then, okay, once you reach,
00:32:31.220 once you reach the furthest extreme, you compare someone to Hitler, then what do you do?
00:32:35.840 If that doesn't work, what can you do? Well, the only thing they can do is, I don't know,
00:32:39.280 try to rig the voting rules or throw the guy in jail. That's about all that's left,
00:32:42.660 because you're not really persuading anyone anymore. Now, speaking of libs who call people
00:32:47.320 Nazis, do you remember New York Congressman Jamal Bowman? Jamal Bowman is this huge lib,
00:32:56.220 complete lunatic from New York. He and I had a slight altercation because after I spoke at CPAC a couple
00:33:02.660 years ago and said that men and women are different, he said, quote, Michael Knowles is
00:33:08.840 a Nazi hell-bent on keeping only white men alive and in power. We cannot allow him and others to
00:33:15.600 push their evil agenda, and we must stand up for transgender rights. CPAC has made one thing clear
00:33:20.700 this year. They support a future run by Nazis like Knowles. Just to remind you, at CPAC, I said,
00:33:25.120 for the good of society and especially for the good of the poor people who've fallen prey to this
00:33:28.760 confusion, transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely, the whole preposterous
00:33:32.980 ideology at every level. So he said, boys and girls are different. This is an ideology. It's
00:33:36.360 terrible for everyone. It's especially terrible for the people who indulge in it and think that
00:33:41.080 they're the opposite sex, and so we got to get rid of the ideology. And he said, because of that,
00:33:45.960 Knowles is a Nazi hell-bent on keeping only white men in power. He's a complete lunatic, this guy.
00:33:51.720 He then, that was my first interaction with him. He then came even more to the public
00:33:56.380 consciousness last October when he pulled a fire alarm to interrupt an official congressional
00:34:01.940 proceeding. So the actual crime that was committed on January 6th, the worst day in the history of
00:34:09.080 this or any republic, is the interruption of an official congressional proceeding by these rioters
00:34:14.500 who actually were just being escorted around by Capitol Police in some cases, like the Hornhat guy.
00:34:19.580 And anyway, that was the crime. Jamal Bowman did that. So after talking about how this is the worst
00:34:23.980 insurrection, it was a coup d'etat, we almost lost the country. Jamal Bowman did the exact thing that
00:34:29.560 they accused the January 6th people of doing. Well, now we got another hit from Mr. Bowman.
00:34:35.160 This is Jamal Bowman speaking at a political rally in New York.
00:34:39.940 We're going to show them who the **** we are!
00:34:43.300 This is such third world behavior. And actually, that's not fair. That's offensive to people who
00:35:13.020 live in the third world. There are plenty of good, pious, responsible, normal people who live in the
00:35:16.940 third world. The reason that I call this third world behavior is because one of the distinctive
00:35:22.860 features about the third world is that the political order in third world countries is broken.
00:35:31.540 It's often corrupt. It's weak. It doesn't, because of the factors that make the third world the third
00:35:39.060 world. The political order has all sorts of problems and pathologies, regardless of the people
00:35:44.640 who make up the constituency. And that's what we're seeing here. This kind of stuff, you expect this
00:35:49.700 kind of talk out of a tin pot dictatorship, out of a banana republic. This is not the sort of thing
00:35:56.620 befitting the United States of America. You think about our founding fathers who wrote beautiful epistles.
00:36:03.700 Frankly, whether you agree with their political positions or not, these are beautiful,
00:36:06.580 educated epistles drawing from the deep wells of political philosophy. You think of the Federalist
00:36:13.260 written by Alexander Hamilton and John Jay and James Madison defending the Constitution, this rather
00:36:19.340 complex, very serious document. And the successor to those people is, we're going to show them who the
00:36:26.500 F we are. Yeah. It's just so embarrassing. It's just so terribly, terribly embarrassing. I'm not saying
00:36:32.780 we need to play by the Marquess of Queensbury rules or anything like that. I think in some ways,
00:36:39.000 the polite political order needs to be shaken up every now and again because their facade of
00:36:44.840 politeness covers up a reality of corruption and degradation. But talk like an adult who has
00:36:52.960 any self-respect at all. This is just so embarrassing. And it matters because words are symbols, and so they
00:36:59.180 represent underlying realities. Our politicians are symbols. They're representatives. They represent us
00:37:06.600 in a representative republic. And if our representatives are just complete babbling
00:37:11.960 degenerates like this guy, that speaks very poorly of the society that he represents.
00:37:18.340 Very, very, not a healthy country that is represented by people like Mr. Jamal Bowman.
00:37:28.180 Now, if you've not heard, Jeremy Boring, God King here at the Daily Wire, held a live town hall last
00:37:33.820 week where he announced an exciting partnership with Angel Studios to bring you a new film called
00:37:37.360 Sound of Hope, The Story of Possum Truck, coming to theaters this July 4th. You might know Angel
00:37:41.320 Studios from their movie Sound of Freedom, which made a big splash last year by exposing the extent of the
00:37:46.080 child trafficking crisis. Now, Angel Studios is back, continuing their fight for kids, and DW is
00:37:51.080 joining. Sound of Hope is the true story of 22 families from a rural church who adopted 77 kids
00:37:55.440 from the foster care system, creating a movement to save vulnerable children everywhere. We have a
00:38:00.680 trailer for you so you can get a feel for what this movie is all about. Take a look.
00:38:07.200 Are you sure these people want us? I know they do. You can call me mama.
00:38:16.080 Oh, Lord.
00:38:23.080 If we wrap our arms around the most vulnerable, then what do we have?
00:38:26.080 Noise!
00:38:27.080 And the children can't take the noise anymore.
00:38:31.080 This is something that we must do.
00:38:33.080 22 families want to adopt. The whole town wants kids now.
00:38:40.080 That's about right.
00:38:42.080 What's happening with Possum Truck could mean a huge change for the system.
00:38:48.080 I watched the film. It's incredibly moving, placing strong family values at its core. Right now, there are over 100,000 children in foster care that need homes, and they need help. Best way to raise awareness is by seeing Sound of Hope in theaters. Sound of Hope is coming to theaters July 4th, and tickets are on.
00:39:19.060 You can get yours at angel.com slash Michael, M-I-C-H-A-E-L. Go get them now before they're gone.
00:39:25.580 My favorite comment on Friday is from JS McDuff, who says, marriage is just a piece of paper, says the guy who goes to work every day for a piece of paper.
00:39:33.540 Yeah, that's a good point. Whenever you hear this, you sometimes hear it with marriage. Marriage is just a piece of paper. No, your marriage license is a piece of paper. Your marriage certificate is a piece of paper, and the certificate certifies that you have done something.
00:39:48.240 It's a symbol. Your diploma from high school or college is just a piece of paper, but it represents the fact that you have completed your studies in high school or college.
00:39:57.860 Yeah, human beings need symbols and representations in order to communicate. My words are symbols right now. We have visual symbols.
00:40:05.180 Yeah, because we're intellect and soul and flesh, we need sense perception.
00:40:12.080 So, yeah, you need to see things and touch things and smell things, and yeah, it's true. We need symbols, but we need the symbols to represent something.
00:40:20.060 Otherwise, the whole world becomes unintelligible, and we become a bunch of babbling baboons, which increasingly is what society seems like.
00:40:26.360 Now, speaking of babbling, and people with foul mouths, actually, do you remember this girl? Maybe you don't. You're lucky if you don't.
00:40:36.180 There's this girl who went viral on TikTok for saying the N-word, and she went viral for that, and people were attacking her for it.
00:40:46.960 But really, I thought what was especially disreputable about the video was all the other naughty words that she said.
00:40:52.860 In the video, she wasn't using the N-word, the word that we now treat with the same taboo that the ancient Israelites treated the holy name of God.
00:41:01.300 Because she used the N-word in a way that didn't refer to black people, certainly wasn't insulting to black people.
00:41:07.140 It was referring just to men, generally.
00:41:09.220 Like, it's used in rap songs.
00:41:12.580 A synonym for her use of the N-word would have been the word fella, or buddy, or something, you know?
00:41:18.600 So, it wasn't that, but then she used all these other naughty words that were in themselves quite vulgar, and not the sort of thing that a woman should say, certainly not publicly.
00:41:27.400 So, she was attacked for this.
00:41:29.040 Then she came out, and she made a few other videos that also went viral on TikTok, saying, you know, F this, you're full of, but she used the English word for it, and you're this, and you're that.
00:41:38.420 And all these really nasty, naughty words, talking like a sailor at a late-night bar.
00:41:44.240 So, she got attacked not only by the left, but also by the right, and not only by the right, but also by the far right.
00:41:50.360 So, the extreme, even the fringiest of the fringe kind of right-wingers that she wanted to ally herself with, they attacked her also.
00:41:57.420 And so, now she's a woman without a home.
00:41:59.320 She debuted as the right-wing darling, the new right-wing darling du jour who's going to go viral and get a lot of followers and make a lot of money.
00:42:08.940 You know, mouthing off on the internet.
00:42:10.240 Well, now she's repositioned just about five or six days after her debut as a centrist.
00:42:16.560 All right, y'all.
00:42:17.300 So, me and you, we're the normies.
00:42:19.440 We are the normal people.
00:42:21.080 We're the ones who built this damn country.
00:42:22.780 And we have these fringes on the far right and we have the fringes on the far left that they all have their little clubs.
00:42:30.060 They all have their little cliques.
00:42:31.300 They all have their little catchphrases.
00:42:33.200 And they both hate me.
00:42:35.060 They both hate me because I represent you.
00:42:39.100 Because we're normal.
00:42:40.500 Because I don't want to join your gay club.
00:42:42.620 Because we don't want to be a part of that gay.
00:42:47.140 We're just normal people who work and pay taxes and get shit on.
00:42:52.900 The government shits on us.
00:42:54.840 The far right and the far left shits on us.
00:42:57.740 And ultimately, no one gives a shit about fixing this country.
00:43:01.500 Because they're so busy.
00:43:03.040 It's a circle jerk.
00:43:04.120 They're so busy trying to, you know, appease their own and stay in the good graces of their own and get famous and whatever.
00:43:11.680 That they don't care about America.
00:43:13.040 That's why nothing gets done in this country.
00:43:15.120 Because they're so busy, like, fighting amongst themselves, like the little f*** that they are, that they don't care to do actually anything about changing the country.
00:43:25.600 Okay, so the left and the right, as she says, agree that as a commentator, this girl is extremely annoying.
00:43:32.640 However, I find her delightful.
00:43:34.920 And I don't even know if she's being intentionally delightful.
00:43:38.880 What I find delightful about her is not anything she has to say as a political commentator.
00:43:43.000 But I find her delightful as a performance artist.
00:43:49.160 What she is doing is a perfect satire of the political media landscape.
00:43:56.400 And she probably doesn't know that.
00:43:58.640 I think she's being sincere and she actually does want to become the next, you know, right-wing star mouthing off or whatever.
00:44:04.800 And she's not failing at that.
00:44:06.840 But what she's doing is a perfect takedown of so much idiocy and glibness in political media.
00:44:19.600 She comes out of nowhere and she's a pretty good-looking girl.
00:44:24.540 And she just goes on and she is offensive.
00:44:28.260 And then she goes viral.
00:44:30.540 What's funny about that is that is actually how you go viral, especially as a right-wing new media celebrity.
00:44:36.900 As a left-wing new media celebrity to some degree too, but especially on the right.
00:44:39.720 Because the left has the establishment media, so the right has to focus on things like social media and TikTok.
00:44:44.720 And they kind of slip in through the back door.
00:44:47.000 So she does that and it works.
00:44:49.040 And that in itself is a kind of funny critique of right-wing media.
00:44:53.180 Then she tries to position herself to gain a broader audience, not as a left-winger or a right-winger, but as a centrist.
00:45:03.780 I'm just speaking for you.
00:45:04.920 She says, I represent you.
00:45:06.000 You don't represent anybody.
00:45:07.140 No one even knows your name.
00:45:08.160 You've gone viral twice.
00:45:08.900 I've done two segments on her at this point, but I don't even know her name.
00:45:12.580 And that's what makes it so fun.
00:45:14.120 She goes, I represent you.
00:45:15.060 You're not a member of Congress.
00:45:16.500 You don't have a large audience.
00:45:18.460 You don't lead a political movement.
00:45:20.280 But what's so funny is there are many, many people in the political media who say, I speak for you.
00:45:26.120 I speak for you, the downtrodden person.
00:45:30.080 And they have no credibility, no authority to make that claim, but they do it anyway.
00:45:34.700 And so that's a really funny satire of political media.
00:45:38.000 And then the best part is she says, nothing gets done in this country.
00:45:41.100 Nothing gets done.
00:45:41.940 We got to get stuff done.
00:45:43.880 But she never says what she wants to get done.
00:45:45.840 And by disavowing the political left and the political right, she is divorcing herself from any kind of political ideology or philosophy or political agenda.
00:45:57.500 She is saying, none of the things that they want to get done, I don't really want to get those things done.
00:46:01.600 I don't really want, but I want to get stuff done.
00:46:04.060 What is that stuff?
00:46:05.000 I don't know.
00:46:05.520 You know, I just want to get it.
00:46:06.220 And this reminds me, speaking of parodies of politicians, there was this politician in New York for a while.
00:46:13.960 I won't say his name.
00:46:16.020 No reason to embarrass him individually.
00:46:19.200 But he had this billboard on one of the main roads in his district.
00:46:24.040 And it said, you know, politician so-and-so, getting it done.
00:46:30.500 Getting it done.
00:46:31.300 And there's a picture of him with his dog.
00:46:32.960 And it didn't list any policies, no particular accomplishments.
00:46:37.620 You know, he's just getting it done.
00:46:39.480 We got to get stuff done, you know.
00:46:41.020 And that's what the really shallow political media figures do.
00:46:45.560 They don't have any particular philosophy or policy agenda or even candidates necessarily that they're supporting.
00:46:53.700 They just want to get it done.
00:46:54.660 We just got to fix stuff in this country.
00:46:55.740 We're not fixing enough, you know.
00:46:56.860 And so anyway, all of that to say, I know everyone, this girl has unified the political spectrum in America because everyone who's encountered her videos on social media has attacked her from the far left to the far right to everyone in the middle.
00:47:11.920 But I want to defend her because as a performance artist, she is presenting a brilliant and incisive critique of American political media.
00:47:27.020 Now, speaking of centrism, speaking of real centrism and people who have actual policy prescriptions and campaigns and stuff, President Trump just went on the All In podcast.
00:47:39.020 You know that President Trump has made immigration a big part of his campaign and restricting immigration and building the wall and deporting illegal aliens.
00:47:48.140 Well, he was asked.
00:47:49.020 He said, Mr. President, we in the business community, we want more migration, but only certain kinds of migration, high-skilled migration, highly educated migration.
00:48:01.060 So, Mr. President, while you're restricting immigration for the illegal aliens and all the rest, would you, even you, the biggest immigration hawk we've had at the national level in a long time, would you increase the kind of immigration that we want?
00:48:14.300 And President Trump says yes.
00:48:16.220 Please promise us you will give us more ability to import the best and brightest around the world to America.
00:48:23.120 I do promise, but I happen to agree.
00:48:25.160 That's why I promise.
00:48:26.000 Otherwise, I wouldn't promise.
00:48:27.320 Let me just tell you that it's so sad when we lose people from Harvard, MIT, from the greatest schools and lesser schools that are phenomenal schools also.
00:48:36.980 And what I wanted to do, and I would have done this, but then we had to solve the COVID problem because that came in and, you know, sort of dominated for a little while, as you perhaps know.
00:48:46.120 But what I want to do and what I will do is you graduate from a college.
00:48:50.820 I think you should get automatically, as part of your diploma, a green card to be able to stay in this country.
00:48:56.080 And that includes junior colleges, too.
00:48:58.380 Anybody graduates from a college.
00:49:01.700 Okay.
00:49:02.480 He goes on.
00:49:03.620 And President Trump here, he presents it beautifully.
00:49:05.840 He says, look, I promise, but I don't promise because you're making me promise.
00:49:08.660 I promise because I agree with this.
00:49:09.800 And this is my view.
00:49:10.600 If you graduate from an American college, you should have a green card staple to your diploma.
00:49:16.760 That is an immigration expansionist position.
00:49:20.780 And President Trump has articulated that before.
00:49:22.320 He says, I want more migration than ever, just not illegal immigration.
00:49:25.440 I think a lot of the GOP base goes much further on immigration than President Trump would here.
00:49:31.000 I think most people want to restrict all migration because we just have too much of it.
00:49:35.560 I mean, the movement of people into this country over the last 60, 70 years is the largest movement of people ever in recorded history.
00:49:40.900 We've now got millions and millions of foreigners coming in every year.
00:49:43.360 And it's no knock on the immigrants themselves, but it just creates a lot of social problems.
00:49:47.740 It is bad for social cohesion, especially when you've got a culture that won't try to assimilate the immigrants to the traditional American culture.
00:49:56.040 It just creates a lot of problems.
00:49:57.260 You can't have it.
00:49:58.600 So, what are conservatives to make of what President Trump says here?
00:50:03.380 Seems to me, politics is the art of the possible.
00:50:07.300 This is the position that one can hold on immigration in polite society in 2024.
00:50:14.200 Maybe it won't be the position in 2026 or 2028 or 2030, but that is the position now.
00:50:19.160 It's the only way, probably, to simultaneously try to restrict other kinds of immigration that pose more problems.
00:50:26.160 There are reasons to restrict even the highly skilled, highly educated immigration.
00:50:31.320 Because America is not just an economy.
00:50:33.160 America is not just a spreadsheet with GDP.
00:50:35.520 There are social factors.
00:50:37.000 There are community factors.
00:50:40.000 But President Trump's view here is the moderate one.
00:50:43.760 And I guess that's my big takeaway from this.
00:50:45.660 While the libs are calling Trump Hitler and they're making movies about how he's Hitler and whatever, all the rest of it, even on a central issue for him, immigration, what's considered to be his most extreme issue, he is the moderate here.
00:50:58.600 He is articulating the view that was held by even Democrats 20, 30 years ago.
00:51:05.340 He is the moderate.
00:51:07.560 Joe Biden is the one who says, well, illegals are going to rape and kill some American girls.
00:51:11.540 Well, that's just too bad.
00:51:12.500 That's the price we pay for an electoral advantage.
00:51:14.900 Open up the borders.
00:51:16.220 President Trump's saying, I want more good migration.
00:51:18.260 I want less bad migration.
00:51:19.440 That is, even if you don't agree with Trump's position, that is, without question, the moderate position.
00:51:25.380 The rest of the show continues.
00:51:26.540 Now, it's Music Monday.
