Summary

Kamala Harris has added a policy platform to her campaign website. Is it a victory lap for me for forcing her to put one on her website? Or is it proof that she's serious about running for president in 2020?

Transcript

00:00:00.000 Haitian immigrants are allegedly eating park geese and pet cats in Ohio.
00:00:05.800 Allegedly, according to social media.
00:00:07.300 I'm actually a little skeptical.
00:00:08.180 We'll get to it, I promise.
00:00:09.280 First, though, if you will, indulge me.
00:00:12.640 I just want to take a slight victory lap.
00:00:15.980 I apparently bullied Kamala Harris into putting a policy platform on her website.
00:00:23.260 I think I did it, actually.
00:00:25.200 I don't want to take too much credit here.
00:00:27.980 But one week ago today, I noticed something that no one else seemed to have noticed.
00:00:34.020 And it's no knock on them.
00:00:35.080 It's probably because it was too absurd for anyone even to check.
00:00:39.600 And it was that Kamala's website did not list any policy proposals.
00:00:45.420 There was no policy anywhere on the website.
00:00:48.360 Trump's did.
00:00:50.120 Trump's policy platform, in fact, was the first link on his website.
00:00:53.420 Kamala didn't even have one.
00:00:55.220 So I pointed this out on social media.
00:00:57.360 I said, you know, this is the difference between the two campaigns.
00:00:59.960 All you need to know.
00:01:00.860 And the posts went viral on X and Instagram and wherever.
00:01:05.040 And then I mentioned it on my podcast and radio show the next day.
00:01:09.220 That was six days ago.
00:01:10.820 Then, yesterday, 50 days after announcing her presidential run,
00:01:17.440 Kamala added an issues page to her website.
00:01:21.860 Now, of course, Kamala has many issues.
00:01:24.200 We will get into them a little bit.
00:01:27.000 For now, though, I am honored that I have played whatever role I did in forcing Kamala's many, many issues,
00:01:37.680 personal and political, to light.
00:01:39.420 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:01:40.120 This is the Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:42.660 Are Haitians eating geese and pets?
00:02:00.460 I don't know.
00:02:02.920 We'll get into it.
00:02:03.440 We'll figure it out.
00:02:04.500 Did you know that over 85% of grass-fed beef sold in U.S. grocery stores is imported?
00:02:09.580 That's why I buy all my meat from GoodRanchers.com instead.
00:02:13.300 Good Ranchers products are 100% born, raised, and harvested right here in the USA from local family farms.
00:02:18.980 Plus, there's no antibiotics ever, no added hormones, and no seed oils.
00:02:23.200 Just one simple ingredient.
00:02:24.700 That's meat.
00:02:25.260 Best of all, Good Ranchers delivers straight to your door for added convenience.
00:02:29.240 So lock in a secure supply of American meat today.

00:02:36.820 That's $40 off and free meat for life with code DAILYWIRE.
00:02:40.100 Good Ranchers.
00:02:40.920 American meat delivered.
00:02:42.720 Kamala has added a policy platform.
00:02:45.680 This is really great news.
00:02:48.080 What is in the policy platform?
00:02:49.820 I have Reddit, the Kamala Issues page.
00:02:52.120 I will give you everything you need to know ahead of tonight's debate.
00:02:55.680 She promises to raise taxes significantly on people making more than $400,000 per year.
00:03:02.100 Okay, standard Democrat stuff.
00:03:03.780 Not good for the economy, but standard Democrat stuff.
00:03:06.180 She promises to give away $25,000 to first-time homebuyers, and more than that, to first-generation homeowners.
00:03:13.640 She promises to give money to entrepreneurs, specifically to non-white people.
00:03:18.880 This is the language she uses.
00:03:19.980 Kamala has led the Biden-Harris administration's efforts to increase access to capital for small businesses and bring venture capital to parts of middle America that have for too long been overlooked, driving a record 19 million new business applications, tripling the small business administration's lending to black-owned businesses, and more than doubling small-dollar lending to Latino and women-owned businesses.
00:03:43.260 So, great news if you are a woman or a racial minority trying to start a business.
00:03:49.060 If you're a white guy, too.
00:03:50.840 She promises to cancel medical debt for more people.
00:03:54.460 Okay, what does that mean?
00:03:55.300 It means the government just spends more money and pays off different insurance companies.
00:04:01.020 She promises to raise taxes to bail out Social Security, Medicare, standard stuff, raise the minimum wage, standard stuff.
00:04:08.980 She promises two Trump policies, no tax on tips, and a child tax credit, which she took directly from the Trump campaign.
00:04:16.020 She promises to spend more money on public schools.
00:04:18.100 Here again, she promises to spend more money giving education specifically to non-white people.
00:04:23.560 Kamala writes, to date, Vice President Harris has helped deliver the largest investment in public education in American history, provide nearly $170 billion in student debt relief for almost 5 million borrowers, and deliver record investments in HBCUs, tribal colleges, Hispanic-serving institutions, and other minority-serving institutions.
00:04:44.260 So, majority-serving institutions, you're out of luck, too bad.
00:04:48.460 Kamala thinks it's much more important to just give the money to her favored races.
00:04:52.820 Then she promises to kill babies, no surprise.
00:04:55.620 Then she promises to push more gay stuff, no surprise.
00:04:58.120 Then she promises to rig the elections a bit more by expanding vote-by-mail and early voting, no surprise.
00:05:04.580 Take away guns, amnesty, and citizenship for illegals.
00:05:08.340 She says she will fight the drug crisis not by closing the border, but by promoting overdose drugs.
00:05:14.560 Doesn't seem like the most effective way to do it.
00:05:16.940 She's currently, the borders are.
00:05:18.360 She could fix things right now, doesn't want to do it.
00:05:21.280 But then, she promises to prosecute Trump and to gut the Supreme Court.
00:05:27.620 So, those are legitimately radical.
00:05:29.620 But most of it is standard Democrat fare.
00:05:33.000 Now, how do we know it's standard Democrat fare?
00:05:35.360 Brett Baer over at Fox News pointed this out today.
00:05:37.400 The source code for her issues page is largely copied from the Biden issues page.
00:05:45.240 So, you know, I don't want to claim too much credit here for forcing her to put this up.
00:05:51.620 But what some people will say is, well, Michael, you didn't force her to do it.
00:05:55.860 It just took her 50 days to write her issues page.
00:05:58.680 No, it took her zero days to write most of her issues page because she just stole it from Biden, which is very difficult because she calls her issues page the new path forward.
00:06:06.380 But it's not a new path forward.
00:06:07.940 She's currently the vice president.
00:06:09.300 She currently has presidential authority on certain important matters.
00:06:13.100 And she stole much of the rest of her issues from Joe Biden.
00:06:17.900 So, it's exactly the same path that we're on that is not working out very well.
00:06:22.120 Now, there is one really, really big issue that Kamala has to deal with and has to answer for to pet owners and geese enjoyers in public parks in Ohio.
00:06:32.800 That would be all the Haitian immigrants.
00:06:36.560 There are 20,000 non-citizen Haitians that were brought into this small town in Ohio and social media.
00:06:45.080 Again, we'll get into the social media accusations about this, but, you know, reportedly killing pets and things like that.
00:06:50.540 Well, here is Kamala Harris bragging about the policy that brought the Haitians here.
00:06:57.300 That is why, also, starting with our administration, we gave TPS, temporary protected status, to Haitian migrants, 55,000.
00:07:07.520 And then more recently, we extended temporary protected status to over 100,000 Haitian migrants for that very reason, that they need support, they need protection.
00:07:18.160 There she is.
00:07:18.880 She's bragging about this.
00:07:19.780 What a humanitarian Kamala is.
00:07:22.740 Except now it's a little politically unpopular.
00:07:25.180 We're not just talking about 20,000 people in a town in Ohio.
00:07:28.900 We're talking about, at one point, 100,000 people being given an even more formal protective status.
00:07:35.860 Now, the problem with all of this, if you're a conservative, is that the old standard, you know, write your manifesto on the back of an envelope kind of campaign trail line isn't going to work here.
00:07:50.600 What do the Republicans say?
00:07:52.420 They say, we want less illegal immigration and more legal immigration.
00:07:57.560 Illegal is bad and legal is good.
00:07:59.620 But we all want more immigration.
00:08:02.340 Many of you do not.
00:08:03.500 I do not.
00:08:04.200 I don't think that would be good for the country.
00:08:06.700 Most people, depending on which public opinion survey you're looking at, do not want more immigration of any kind.
00:08:11.700 But that's the official acceptable line from the GOP.
00:08:16.700 And the problem is, these Haitians who have taken over this town in Ohio are not illegal aliens.
00:08:23.800 They're here illegally.
00:08:25.280 The Biden-Harris administration brought them in and then gave them special legal protective status.
00:08:30.700 The problems caused by mass migration are not just a matter of some technical violation of border law.
00:08:41.980 It's a question of how many people should America take in?
00:08:47.200 How quickly can they assimilate?
00:08:49.260 What is a country?
00:08:50.160 Is a country just an abstract idea floating in outer space?
00:08:52.820 Or is it made up of real people?
00:08:54.940 How does one become an American?
00:08:56.860 Do you become an American simply by reading the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution?
00:09:01.260 Or does it require certain habits?
00:09:03.160 Does it require certain culture?
00:09:04.680 Does it take generations to even, to become an American?
00:09:08.900 And our founding fathers seem to think that it took a little while.
00:09:14.800 And they were right about that.
00:09:16.540 We point to the founding fathers as creating a purely creedal nation based on this one document written by Thomas Jefferson.
00:09:23.140 That's not how they viewed themselves.
00:09:26.200 This is why, by the way, people on social media right now are talking about Haitians eating pets and ducks.
00:09:33.740 So J.D. Vance brought this up.
00:09:35.340 But J.D. tweeted out, months ago, I raised the issue of Haitian illegal immigrants draining social services and generally causing chaos all over Springfield, Ohio.
00:09:43.960 Reports now show that people have had their pets abducted and eaten by people who shouldn't be in this country.
00:09:50.880 Where is our borders are?
00:09:52.480 So here is that months ago testimony that J.D. Vance was referring to.
00:09:58.560 Chairman Brown, I'd like to ask unanimous consent to submit a letter for the record from the city of Springfield and our state, the southwestern part of our state, which I think highlights a very real example of this particular concern straight from the horse's mouth itself.
00:10:11.520 Now, this letter, I want to quote from it.
00:10:13.560 Springfield has seen a surge in population through immigration that has significantly impacted our ability as a community to produce enough housing opportunities for all.
00:10:22.120 Springfield's Haitian population has increased 15 to 20,000 over the last four years in a community of under 60,000 previous residents, putting a significant strain on our resources and ability to provide ample housing for all of our residents.
00:10:34.280 In my conversations with folks in Springfield, it's not just housing.
00:10:42.660 They're trying to build 5,000 new housing units, which is a very Herculean task in a town of about 55,000 people.
00:10:49.340 But it's also hospital services.
00:10:51.220 It's school services.
00:10:52.560 It's there's a whole host of ways in which this immigration problem, I think, is having very real human consequences.
00:10:58.600 Okay, that's the much more serious, sober immigration policy explanation of what's going on.
00:11:07.340 What everyone's talking about is the Haitian immigrants allegedly eating cats and dogs and geese and all manner of pets.
00:11:18.180 And so that's what's dominating social media.
00:11:20.080 We actually have a video of a cat lamenting how much she misses the good old days of the Trump administration.
00:11:37.820 It was really beautiful, obviously.
00:11:44.220 So, you know, our hearts go out to the cats and the geese and the dogs.
00:11:48.040 But then we ask ourselves, is this really happening?
00:11:51.640 And I, so far, have not seen evidence that the Haitians are eating cats and dogs.
00:11:58.080 There was one video or one photo, rather, that was going viral of a black guy walking around holding a Canadian goose.
00:12:04.040 But it's not clear exactly where this was taking place.
00:12:06.800 It's not clear if the guy is Haitian.
00:12:08.140 And worth pointing out, as these reports come out of these Ohio towns, that the geese are going missing, it is a federal crime to go kill geese in the park.
00:12:18.900 Canadian geese are a protected species, federally.
00:12:21.820 Why?
00:12:22.240 I don't know.
00:12:22.700 They seem to be everywhere.
00:12:23.460 But they're a federally protected species.
00:12:25.280 And, of course, as with all of these immigration issues, if native-born Americans committed even one fraction of the crimes that the illegal aliens are currently committing, and the people who have been brought over and given temporary protective status are currently committing, they would be in prison, especially if they're white people.
00:12:43.300 But for some reason, we just let the illegal aliens and the temporary protected migrants off the hook.
00:12:49.980 So that creates certain tensions in communities.
00:12:53.840 But I think what this pet thing is really about is just a shocking, sensationalist headline that may or may not be based in reality.
00:13:06.500 I haven't really found evidence that it's based in reality.
00:13:09.360 But it's to underscore a real and urgent social concern that has been ignored by our political class.
00:13:18.320 There's so much more to say.
00:13:19.440 First, though, text Knolls to 989898.
00:13:22.600 Did you know there are nearly $1 trillion of infrastructure and pandemic funds yet to be spent?
00:13:29.020 That's right.
00:13:29.980 There is a massive amount of money that the lame duck administration is pushing hard to spend in their final few months.
00:13:35.180 If the president is able to push these funds out, we could see another prolonged inflation surge, just like during COVID.
00:13:42.400 I'm sure you remember the terrible effects that high prices had on most Americans, but there's hope.
00:13:47.300 The surge in prices can be beaten.
00:13:48.920 A gold IRA from Birch Gold Group is the ultimate inflation hedge for your savings in uncertain times.
00:13:55.180 To see how to protect your IRA or 401k, get your free info kit on gold by texting the word Knolls, K-N-W-L-E-S, to 989898.
00:14:02.620 There's more good news.
00:14:03.620 Due to enormous demand, Birch Gold is offering the 24-karat gold-plated truth bomb for one more month on qualifying purchases.
00:14:10.960 You need to text Knolls, K-N-W-L-E-S, to 989898 to claim your eligibility before September 30th.
00:14:17.300 Do not wait for the president's spending spree to tank the dollar further.
00:14:21.380 Protect your financial future with gold.
00:14:23.460 Text Knolls, K-N-W-L-E-S, to the number 989898 to claim your eligibility and make your purchase before September 30th.
00:14:30.600 You want to know why some people are accusing the Haitians of eating cats and dogs and geese in their towns.
00:14:38.960 It's because of testimony like this from this woman from Springfield, Ohio, the town in question.
00:14:44.580 I noticed all of the old familiar spots bearing new signs in an unfamiliar language.
00:14:50.380 I watched as groups of strangers walked around the city like lost tourists, and it was like a punch in the gut.
00:14:57.360 A terrible sadness came over me, and I began to cry.
00:15:00.780 I immediately started to think back to when I was little, walking from my grandma's house on South Fountain through downtown and all the way to Snyder Park,
00:15:09.560 going to Renz to get new school clothes and shoes.
00:15:12.000 The excitement of the mall for lunch at the Blue Fox, or even better to see Santa.
00:15:17.300 Riding down High Street, admiring the beauty of those stately homes and their amazing architecture.
00:15:23.060 Dropping pennies in the fountain and making wishes.
00:15:26.160 And now, all those warm memories are becoming fuel to the fire of anger inside of me.
00:15:31.580 I feel like we have been invaded by some sort of pest.
00:15:34.960 I'm angry that my friends and family are packing up and moving away.
00:15:38.240 I'm angry that foreigners are using up the resources that were set up for the Americans that reside here.
00:15:45.380 I'm angry that another country's flag was being flown in our city.
00:15:49.700 I'm angry when I see our businesses and recreational areas littered with garbage left by people that do not know or understand our laws and culture and are making no attempt to learn about them.
00:16:01.100 That's what the goosin thing is about.
00:16:03.760 It's not about the geese and the cats.
00:16:05.920 People don't care about Canadian geese all that much.
00:16:08.260 That's what it's about.
00:16:09.380 And the way that woman spoke is not politically correct.
00:16:12.140 And I'm sure she'll be called a racist and a bigot and a xenophobe for what she said.
00:16:17.380 But there's a reason that video clip went viral, because I think a lot of people listen to her testimony, and they ask, can you blame her?
00:16:27.520 Can you blame her?
00:16:28.980 This woman, something tells me she's not a descendant of the Rockefellers.
00:16:33.640 Something tells me she doesn't have penthouses on Park Avenue.
00:16:36.260 Okay, this isn't, you know, rich Uncle Pennybags sneering on the poor hoi polloi and the migrants who come over.
00:16:44.160 This is a woman who comes from a small town in Ohio, and she's been there for a long time, and she's got generational history in that town.
00:16:52.360 She has good memories in that town, and then her town was just taken away from her.
00:16:57.900 She looks up, and people are speaking and writing in a language she doesn't recognize.
00:17:03.860 She looks up, and the country is being filled up with people that are different.
00:17:09.980 The people of the town are just being replaced.
00:17:12.860 The people who are coming, no knock on them in themselves, but they don't understand the customs.
00:17:18.660 They don't behave in the way the people in that town, people in this country, are supposed to behave.
00:17:23.780 They're foreign, and they have foreign customs and a foreign language, and they do foreign stuff,
00:17:27.820 which is being caricatured and exaggerated to include eating cats and geese.
00:17:31.480 But to her point, do we not have a right to our country?
00:17:38.300 The liberals would say we don't.
00:17:39.740 They would say we don't have a right to our country because this is stolen land that we took from the Indians,
00:17:43.140 and they can never quite name which Indian tribes we took it from,
00:17:45.500 and they never acknowledge which Indian tribes those Indian tribes took it from.
00:17:48.940 But all they know is that it's evil that America's here, and we have no right to our country,
00:17:53.120 and we have no right to our borders, and we have no right to our laws, and we have no right to our customs.
00:17:56.940 And the people who say that very frequently, they have a lot of money, and they can live in very nice little communities,
00:18:04.460 and they can continue to have their own customs, and they can send their kids to the schools they want to send them to,
00:18:09.580 and they don't need to worry about street crime in their neighborhoods.
00:18:12.280 But all the little people, they can deal with it.
00:18:15.340 They can deal with the real-life consequences of the utopian liberal dreams that they cook up to assuage their white guilt,
00:18:21.840 which is based on ideological errors.
00:18:27.120 Can you blame this woman? Her town was taken away from her.
00:18:30.660 Her family's heritage and inheritance, cultural inheritance, was taken away from her.
00:18:36.400 If the British did this kind of thing to a town in India,
00:18:39.880 it would be condemned as imperialism and cultural genocide, and has been, by the way.
00:18:45.880 Yet in this case, you can flood a country intentionally.
00:18:52.300 As a matter of federal policy, you can flood a country with a very particular people
00:18:56.140 who have radically different customs and language from the people in that town.
00:19:01.120 You can radically change that town, just yank the polity away from those people, and it's totally fine.
00:19:07.120 Actually, they have it coming.
00:19:07.960 And why do they have it coming?
00:19:08.720 Because they're poor white people.
00:19:10.780 And poor white people are terrible, and they don't have any rights,
00:19:13.300 and we just need to abolish their culture entirely.
00:19:17.080 That's what the liberals are saying.
00:19:20.120 And occasionally, not even that often, but occasionally,
00:19:23.800 the poor white people say, hey, what gives, guys?
00:19:29.960 And when they do that, they're called deplorable and irredeemable and racist and xenophobic.
00:19:34.520 But something tells me those liberals who are implementing these policies,
00:19:43.420 they're not importing the Haitian migrants to their neighborhoods.
00:19:48.320 They don't want to live with those consequences.
00:19:51.820 So, of course, the libs are trying to make all of this about racism.
00:19:55.280 Maxine Waters, one of the gifts that keeps on giving in the liberal establishment,
00:20:01.980 absolutely terrible, but she expresses what the libs really believe.
00:20:05.580 She goes on MSNBC, and she says, people hate these Haitians.
00:20:10.900 They hate these Haitians, and they hate them because they're black and they speak Creole.
00:20:17.660 Well, let me just say this, that Haitians have been the victims of, you know,
00:20:23.780 not only our country, but Canada and France for years, historically.
00:20:29.000 They're black, they're poor, it's the poorest country in the hemisphere.
00:20:33.760 They have been exploited, and it continues all the time.
00:20:38.180 They are not, it does not appear that they are seen in the same way that they see others.
00:20:46.380 Well, others don't eat geese from the park, or do other things that this particular group is doing,
00:20:54.020 but it can never be about what this group is doing.
00:20:55.900 And it's not just the Haitians, by the way.
00:20:58.760 Maxine Waters says the Haitians are viewed fundamentally differently.
00:21:01.060 No, I think the Haitians are viewed in pretty much the same way as all of the other groups of people
00:21:06.400 who have either immigrated illegally or have been forced on these small towns
00:21:11.480 by the liberal presidential administrations in contradiction to what the people actually want.
00:21:19.700 They're viewed as foreigners.
00:21:21.720 I recently gave a speech on Dante at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, which is available on YouTube right now.
00:21:27.820 I know some people have been asking about it.
00:21:29.980 And in it, Dante's great, great, great, great grandfather gives him some political advice in heaven and says,
00:21:36.720 you know, the confusion of peoples, the mixture of peoples, is always the beginning of ills in the city.
00:21:42.760 And he's taking this lesson from Aristotle.
00:21:46.700 It's not that the immigrants are bad in themselves.
00:21:49.420 It's not that Haitians are bad in themselves.
00:21:52.240 The Haitians do bad things like perform cannibalism and voodoo.
00:21:57.900 Haiti, she points out, you know, Haiti is the only successful slave revolt in history.
00:22:02.140 And they've had a lot of problems ever since then.
00:22:04.720 You know, if you're going to create an island of slaves, that's going to have political ramifications down the line.
00:22:10.620 So Haiti, through its development and its history, has had all sorts of terrible problems.
00:22:14.580 And you're seeing that today, not just economic, but cultural, spiritual cannibalism and voodoo.
00:22:20.160 But it's not that Haitians are bad people in themselves, exactly.
00:22:23.900 It's not that Mexicans or Guatemalans or Hondurans or Nicaraguans or whoever.
00:22:28.760 It's not that people from Sweden or Timbuktu are bad in themselves.
00:22:33.100 The question for immigration is just, do they fit?
00:22:36.680 Do they fit?
00:22:37.440 Can they be assimilated?
00:22:38.660 Is it too many people?
00:22:40.000 Is the culture strong enough?
00:22:43.680 Does the culture benefit from this kind of migration?
00:22:45.880 And the obvious answer is no.
00:22:47.440 The people have been saying in America for decades, no, it's just too much.
00:22:50.980 And our political class doesn't give a damn.
00:22:53.220 Worse still, they do hear when the people say we want less migration.
00:22:58.120 And they want to contradict that.
00:23:01.680 They want to give the people the exact opposite policy that they desire and that would help the country.
00:23:06.580 There's so much more to say.

00:24:17.840 See, terms and conditions apply.
00:24:20.360 Speaking of justice, this was a hidden gem from Stephen Crowder.
00:24:28.360 Crowder went undercover James O'Keefe style, or one of his staff members went undercover James O'Keefe style,
00:24:33.400 and spoke to the top spokesman for the Southern District of New York.
00:24:37.860 So this is a top spokesman for the DOJ, specifically Southern District of New York,
00:24:42.420 which is where one of the places where Trump was being prosecuted.
00:24:45.920 And this guy, Nicholas Biazze, Biaz, public affairs director for this office,
00:24:52.080 admitted on hidden camera that the Trump prosecutions are a perversion of justice.
00:24:58.500 Before he decided to prosecute Trump, did you know who he was?
00:25:04.860 You do now.
00:25:06.000 Alvin Beck.
00:25:07.060 Who I've known for 15 years.
00:25:09.060 He used to work in my office.
00:25:10.660 I'm not sure what he wants to be, but I know he's not happy just being the D.A. in New York County.
00:25:17.660 So now he's very ambitious.
00:25:19.120 Every real estate person in New York does what he did.
00:25:21.880 Nobody's ever been charged with this.
00:25:26.100 It's all him.
00:25:26.980 You know, it's a perversion of justice.
00:25:29.040 Who's stacking charges and rearranging things just to make that case.
00:25:34.440 No, to be honest with you, I think the case is nonsense.
00:25:38.100 State levels are wild west.
00:25:40.880 They're like idiots.
00:25:42.500 They don't care.
00:25:43.680 They're all political.
00:25:44.500 So, yeah, this guy's probably going to try to lock him up.
00:25:51.700 And there is going to be, it's going to be ugly.
00:25:54.920 They're so obsessed with getting him.
00:25:59.340 Who is they?
00:26:02.640 The Democrats are so obsessed with getting him that they're going to pervert justice and do anything, no matter how ugly.
00:26:09.060 That's true.
00:26:09.940 And it's, I guess it's got, you always feel kind of bad for these guys who think they're going on dates and then they're spilling the beans and, and, but it's important to do.
00:26:17.480 Because here you've got the top flack, the guy whose job it is to shill for the DOJ in the Southern District of New York.
00:26:24.940 And he's admitting on camera, yeah, this is a complete perversion of justice.
00:26:28.900 Alvin Bragg is way ambitious and it's, it's really bad.
00:26:33.380 Yeah.
00:26:34.720 But that video won't change anyone's mind.
00:26:38.000 Everyone knows that.
00:26:40.940 The Democrats might tell us publicly that the reason they're prosecuting Trump is because no one is above the law, but if, you know, they want to abolish prisons and they want, they want to let all the criminals go free.
00:26:51.300 So this isn't about anyone being above the law.
00:26:53.640 They want to ignore the law.
00:26:55.440 This is about getting Donald Trump, getting revenge on the man who wasn't supposed to win in 2016.
00:27:01.300 And then even probably the most charitable interpretation you could take is this is about stopping literal Hitler.
00:27:08.160 Democrats have gone all in and said that Donald Trump is literal Hitler.
00:27:11.880 Well, if he's literal Hitler, then you can do anything to stop him.
00:27:16.980 Anything would be justified according to the liberal mindset.
00:27:19.840 This actually ties into what we were talking about during that controversial Tucker Carlson interview about World War II last week.
00:27:26.660 When I said, you know, people are focusing on the history and, you know, I thought the, the interview went a little soft on the mustache man, as I pointed out, and was a little bit of a selective history.
00:27:37.260 And so the history is being debated, but I said, it's really, the history isn't really the point here.
00:27:41.800 The point that is salient and that is interesting is the point on how history plays into myth.
00:27:48.380 Because all polities require some kind of myth, some kind of narrative that gives us a lens through which to view our present society.
00:27:55.880 And World War II being the biggest, craziest, deadliest war ever is, of course, going to play a large role in that.
00:28:03.620 Putting, putting aside any other political considerations.
00:28:06.040 And so what, what did we get out of the myth following World War II?
00:28:11.700 Well, you get the, the person of Hitler, who the real Hitler, the historical Hitler, very, very evil man, did lots of very, very evil things.
00:28:20.700 But not even Hitler was Hitler in the sense that the, the, the role that Hitler plays in our, in our mythos is, is as the incarnation of absolute evil.
00:28:31.480 We don't call people the devil anymore.
00:28:33.580 We don't say that man, he's the devil, that man, he's Satan.
00:28:36.460 We say, no, that guy, he's Hitler.
00:28:38.060 That guy's literally Hitler.
00:28:39.480 Hitler has now become a substitute for the devil.
00:28:42.740 And this myth has, has in a way created the mirror image of Christianity.
00:28:48.540 In Christianity, you have the incarnation of absolute good.
00:28:51.400 And what a society desires is to be, to be most like Jesus.
00:28:56.180 You know, what would Jesus do?
00:28:58.480 In this modern liberal conception, there is no incarnation of absolute good.
00:29:05.300 It's not merely that you have good and then evil is the privation of the good.
00:29:09.520 It's that you have the incarnation of absolute evil.
00:29:11.640 And then good is just a kind of privation of evil.
00:29:14.880 The thing you want to do is not be the most good.
00:29:16.920 It's not, it's not to be the most like our Lord.
00:29:19.420 The thing you want to do is, is be the least like Hitler.
00:29:22.180 You know, are you more or less a Nazi?
00:29:24.080 It's kind of the question.
00:29:25.980 And, and so in, in this case, the Democrats have defined Trump.
00:29:30.260 They've said, no, but yeah, Reagan was, was Hitler and George W. Bush was Hitler.
00:29:34.860 And even Mitt Romney was kind of Hitler probably, but Dick Cheney was definitely Hitler, even
00:29:39.600 though Dick Cheney now supports the Democrats.
00:29:40.900 So he's not Hitler anymore.
00:29:41.880 But Trump, that guy now in the year of our Lord, 2024, that guy is literally Hitler.
00:29:50.040 So we can do anything to stop him.
00:29:51.920 That's, that's why the video won't change minds.
00:29:53.880 It's, it feels good that at least we're not being totally gaslit.
00:29:57.620 We're not having to pull our hair out.
00:29:59.280 You know, the libs are admitting, yeah, we're right.
00:30:01.660 The conservatives rather are right.
00:30:03.300 The, the prosecutions of Trump were a total perversion of justice, but doesn't matter
00:30:06.380 because we're, we're beyond the law.
00:30:08.200 We're beyond the constitution.
00:30:09.960 When you face an existential, this is a salient political point.
00:30:13.120 When you face an existential threat to the entire polity, the rules can be broken in
00:30:18.280 order to save the rules because the rules are for the body politic, not the other way around.
00:30:23.880 Our country is not for the constitution.
00:30:25.780 The constitution is for the flourishing of our country.
00:30:27.600 So, okay.
00:30:28.420 Trump is literally Hitler.
00:30:30.000 January 6th, January 6th is the worst day in the history of the world.
00:30:33.060 Trump constitutes an existential threat to the Republic.
00:30:35.260 As, as Joe Biden said, launched his presidential campaign on that.
00:30:38.800 They're still saying it.
00:30:39.660 Many of them, even after President Trump was nearly assassinated.
00:30:43.000 So, okay.
00:30:44.860 Yeah, you caught the DOJ spokesman admitting it's all bogus, but doesn't matter.
00:30:48.720 We're going to do it anyway.
00:30:49.960 We've got to stop Hitler.
00:30:52.020 Now, speaking of perversions, not just of justice, but of desire, the mind, there was
00:30:59.120 a really gross tweet that was posted yesterday by Sam Lesson, former vice president of product
00:31:05.220 at Facebook.
00:31:06.180 This came to my attention thanks to a Harold, or Harold, not Harold Bloom, the late literary
00:31:12.400 critic, but Arthur Bloom, an interesting writer and tweeter who posted this observation.
00:31:19.280 Sam Lesson said, what a beautiful business OnlyFans is.
00:31:25.480 Zero venture capital, most successful creator platform by a mile.
00:31:28.500 OnlyFans, of course, is a porn platform.
00:31:30.540 And it's a porn platform that entices young girls to post videos and photos of themselves
00:31:36.320 being degraded to create a subscriber base.
00:31:40.680 And then, look, you see right here, OnlyFans says, this is all in billions of dollars.
00:31:45.920 The user spend is $6.6 billion.
00:31:49.660 And then 1.3 of that goes to platform revenue.
00:31:54.960 0.48 of that goes to the cost of sales.
00:32:00.700 0.82 is gross profit.
00:32:02.220 0.17 operating expenses.
00:32:03.860 Then from the gross profit, you get 0.65 operating profit.
00:32:07.960 Then 0.17 goes to taxes.
00:32:09.940 Net profit, $480 million.
00:32:13.020 The rest of the money, which is the lion's share, $5.3 billion, goes to the creators.
00:32:18.320 The creators being the self-actualized porn actresses.
00:32:25.160 That's incredible, isn't it?
00:32:26.740 A $6.6 billion company, $5.3 billion going to the creators.
00:32:31.560 The rest going to run the business.
00:32:33.880 What a beautiful business model.
00:32:36.340 Zero venture capital, most successful creator platform by a mile.
00:32:40.140 And all the business model requires is an endless and increasing number of gullible girls
00:32:47.320 being tricked into becoming prostitutes.
00:32:49.860 That's all it takes.
00:32:51.040 And then you get this beautiful business model.
00:32:52.940 And look at all the money they can make.
00:32:55.600 The business can make money without having to go out and raise seed funding and venture
00:33:01.140 capital.
00:33:01.540 They don't need to worry about any of that.
00:33:02.780 They just get the money from porn-addicted perverts who are enticed to hand over their
00:33:09.240 money to a company that also entices gullible teenage and 20-something-year-old girls to degrade
00:33:19.100 themselves permanently on the internet and make themselves into prostitutes.
00:33:23.580 What a beautiful business model, isn't it?
00:33:25.320 This kind of chart and that kind of take from the vice president of Facebook, the public square, one of the largest platforms on the internet where people speak to one another, it almost makes one want to be a communist.
00:33:40.500 It shows you such the evil side of capitalism.
00:33:44.760 It almost, I'm not quite ready to pick up the hammer and sickle.
00:33:47.820 Communism is also evil.
00:33:48.960 But it shows you the real moral hazards of capitalism divorced from a moral order.
00:33:53.180 What a beautiful business model.
00:33:55.500 I guess it is.
00:33:56.020 If you worship GDP, if you worship material wealth, if you worship the almighty dollar above all things, then this is a beautiful business model.
00:34:07.520 But of course, it's not just free.
00:34:09.120 It's not just free money, as the former vice president of Facebook wants to pretend.
00:34:15.120 Nothing's just totally free, other than redemption offered to us by our Lord.
00:34:19.100 Other than God himself intervening in history, nothing is really free.
00:34:23.620 There's no such thing as a free lunch.
00:34:25.280 So what's the cost?
00:34:26.280 Well, the transaction cost is your soul.
00:34:28.620 What profiteth a man to make $6.6 billion and see a lot of naked ladies on the internet if it costs him his soul?
00:34:38.780 What does it profit a country to boost the economy?
00:34:44.440 Maybe.
00:34:44.860 Does it count as boosting the economy if the economic transaction is just a bunch of perverts forking over cash to women to prostitute themselves?
00:34:54.640 Is that really good for the real economy of a country?
00:34:58.880 Does that make us more productive?
00:35:01.160 Does that make us more competitive?
00:35:02.560 I don't think so.
00:35:03.120 I think it makes us less productive and less competitive.
00:35:06.400 That's a good example of an economic statistic that does not reflect economic reality.
00:35:13.920 But we, in our modern liberal age, we put so much faith in statistics.
00:35:18.800 We put so much faith in scientists and statisticians, sophisters, economists, and calculators, giving us a bunch of models that reflects a material reality, supposedly.
00:35:32.560 And the material world, supposedly, reflects all of reality.
00:35:36.460 But it's not.
00:35:37.140 Here's one externality to this particular model.
00:35:39.460 You're trading your soul and degrading yourself forever and compromising your family and all the rest of it.
00:35:44.340 And the people who are saying this sort of thing are running our country.
00:35:50.460 Former vice president of product at Facebook, the kind of person who's controlling the public square in a self-governing republic, supposedly, in which the public square and speech and discourse and persuasion is how we govern ourselves.
00:36:03.040 Not looking good.
00:36:04.240 Forget about whatever Kamala Harris's stolen platform says.
00:36:07.980 If this is the way our elites are thinking, yikes, we are in trouble.
00:36:11.980 Now, we're going to find out what our elites are thinking in even more explicit terms tonight because we're going backstage for the presidential debate between Trump and Kamala, a debate that could determine America's 47th president.
00:36:23.180 History is unfolding.
00:36:24.280 We are inviting you to witness it with us on Daily Wire Plus as we simulcast the full debate.
00:36:30.060 When the debate is over, Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, Andrew Cleveland, Jeremy Boring, and I will break it all down.
00:36:36.280 We will separate the facts and the logic from the nonsense.

00:36:55.440 Do not miss our special backstage presidential debate.
00:36:58.820 Tonight, on Daily Wire Plus, my favorite comment yesterday is from RyanL3899 who says,
00:37:05.300 So Trump gave Kamala the worst of the Republicans and took the best of the Dems.
00:37:09.220 That man just proved he's still a dealmaker.
00:37:11.320 That's so true.
00:37:13.160 We lost, well, we lost Liz Cheney.
00:37:15.840 I still kind of like Dick Cheney, but he's supporting his daughter.
00:37:18.240 It's annoying.
00:37:18.860 And so, okay.
00:37:19.360 We lost Cheney and some of the Bushes.
00:37:21.860 And okay.
00:37:22.120 And in exchange, we got the most prominent living Kennedy.
00:37:26.440 That's pretty good.
00:37:27.540 And Tulsi Gabbard, who I really like.
00:37:29.240 I really like Tulsi, even though she's still kind of a lib on some things.
00:37:31.760 But on other things, she's great.
00:37:33.120 She's better than many Republicans.
00:37:34.580 So, yeah, I don't know.
00:37:35.520 That's a good deal.
00:37:36.080 I guess that's the order of the deal.
00:37:37.040 Now, speaking of prostitutes and the establishment media, ahead of tonight's debate, the Media Research Center analyzed all broadcasts of ABC World News Tonight with David Muir.
00:37:51.400 David Muir, I think I'm pronouncing that correctly, is the anchor of that show.
00:37:56.740 I remember my grandmother used to love watching him.
00:37:59.540 She thought he was a handsome young man.
00:38:00.960 You know, I think a lot of grandmothers watch this guy.
00:38:04.140 You know, this is people who are accustomed to watching the old network news broadcasts.
00:38:08.140 They just want the straight facts.
00:38:09.800 None of this spin.
00:38:11.080 None of my grandmother was quite Republican and conservative.
00:38:14.640 But still, there was this holdover from the days when they thought they could really trust the network news, not to be partisan, not to be biased, but just to give them the facts.
00:38:23.720 So, okay, does David Muir and ABC World News Tonight, do they just give the facts?
00:38:29.420 According to MRC, reviewing all 100 campaign stories that aired on this ABC show from the day Harris entered the race, July 21st through September 6th, that includes weekends, the analysts found 25 clearly positive statements about Harris from the show's reporters, anchors, from voters who are being interviewed, from other nonpartisan sources.
00:38:51.700 They found zero negative statements about Kamala Harris, even if you're the biggest Harris fan in the world, even if you're a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat.
00:39:04.120 There's nothing about Harris you want to criticize?
00:39:06.320 This woman got run out of the Democrat primary for president before the first primary in 2020.
00:39:12.300 You got nothing to say about her?
00:39:13.500 That's strange.
00:39:14.820 So, that means that ABC World News Tonight, and David Muir, the moderator for tonight's debate, has a 100% positive spin score for Harris.
00:39:26.760 How about Trump?
00:39:28.420 I think they were positive or negative about Trump.
00:39:30.780 MRC found just five clearly positive comments about Trump during that period of time.
00:39:37.340 66 negative statements.
00:39:39.620 That means that ABC was 7% positive about Trump and 93% negative about Trump.
00:39:48.700 Furthermore, forget about just the positive and the negative.
00:39:51.460 ABC World News Tonight, anchored by tonight's debate moderator, never once referred to Harris as liberal or progressive.
00:40:03.160 Never once.
00:40:04.760 NBC, to their credit, called Harris liberal or progressive.
00:40:08.220 CBS, to their credit, the other network station, called Harris liberal or progressive, not ABC.
00:40:16.400 Because to be liberal or progressive is to be not moderate, to be not conservative.
00:40:20.880 It's going to turn off certain voters.
00:40:22.620 They didn't do that.
00:40:24.800 Kamala Harris is the most progressive, most liberal, farthest left senator when she was in the Senate, to the left of Bernie Sanders.
00:40:32.380 ABC didn't think that was newsworthy.
00:40:35.000 Didn't think her political leanings were newsworthy at all.
00:40:36.960 So what can we expect tonight?
00:40:39.300 The one really delightful little fact about tonight is it appears that the Harris campaign finally acquiesced and accepted the debate rules to turn off the candidates' respective microphones when the other is speaking.
00:40:53.480 It was a rule proposed by Joe Biden.
00:40:55.400 That was a rule that Trump did not want to accept.
00:40:57.680 But the Democrats thought it would help the Democrats when Biden was the nominee or the presumptive nominee.
00:41:02.600 And so Trump agreed to it.
00:41:04.520 It ended up helping Trump.
00:41:06.460 And then Kamala's campaign said, no, no, we got to get rid of that rule.
00:41:09.660 And why?
00:41:10.460 Because, as we said from the top of the show, Kamala does not have a policy platform.
00:41:17.340 Kamala didn't have a policy platform on her website until I bullied her into it.
00:41:22.000 She then stole her policy platform, alternately, from Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
00:41:28.920 She's got nothing that she could bring tonight.
00:41:31.000 She wants to chart a new way forward.
00:41:32.520 She is not a new way forward.
00:41:33.960 She is the incumbent, effectively.
00:41:35.560 So the only thing she can do is be a sassy, identity politics-playing kind of black lady who yells and snaps her fingers at Donald Trump, the mean white man, with a tint of orange.
00:41:52.040 That's all.
00:41:52.520 The only thing they were hoping for tonight was Trump saying something and Harris saying, excuse me, excuse me, excuse me, which is all.
00:42:02.520 That was her entire debate with Mike Pence when she was Biden's running mate and Pence was Trump's running mate.
00:42:09.000 Excuse me.
00:42:10.080 That was it.
00:42:10.480 She didn't say anything substantive.
00:42:11.900 So she was trying to do that.
00:42:13.340 And because of the debate rules that the Democrats insisted upon for the first debate between Trump and Biden, she can't do that.
00:42:22.360 Democrats hoisted on their own petard.
00:42:26.200 Now, it's not just ABC among the networks that has been lying.
00:42:29.700 This is a story.
00:42:30.460 I meant to get to it last week.
00:42:31.440 I want to make sure we get to it, though, before it falls out of the news.
00:42:35.080 This is going to show you how the media are going to play, regardless of what happens tonight, how they're going to play every day from now until the election.
00:42:45.480 Tom Cotton, Republican senator, was on NBC's Meet the Press.
00:42:50.380 Tom Cotton pointed out that Kamala Harris never met with those 13 fallen U.S. service members during the extremely bungled withdrawal from Afghanistan under the Biden-Harris administration.
00:42:59.780 Kristen Welker, the supposed journalist and news reporter who was interviewing Tom Cotton, tried to correct him.
00:43:10.540 And honored the sacrifice of those young men and women.
00:43:14.120 But she hasn't.
00:43:15.000 She never has spoken to them or taken a meeting with them.
00:43:18.020 They did meet with them during the dignified transfer.
00:43:20.400 It's because of her.
00:43:20.740 They were with them at the dignified transfer.
00:43:22.220 Her and Joe Biden's incompetence, those 13 Americans were killed in Afghanistan.
00:43:28.800 Okay, what Kristen Welker just said.
00:43:30.260 No, no, no.
00:43:30.520 She did meet with them.
00:43:31.300 She met with them at this ceremony.
00:43:33.720 And she, that is not true, as even NBC had to admit.
00:43:37.120 Meet the Press posted later on that day.
00:43:40.660 On our broadcast this morning, we incorrectly implied that both President Biden and Vice President Harris attended the dignified transfer of 13 American service members killed during the Afghanistan withdrawal.
00:43:52.020 Biden was in attendance, but Harris was not.
00:43:56.600 Incorrectly implied?
00:43:58.280 You didn't incorrectly imply anything.
00:44:01.180 You declared it as fact.
00:44:02.780 There was no implication.
00:44:04.080 There was no insinuation.
00:44:05.780 It was a blunt declaration of fact that was false.
00:44:09.700 You lied or your news lady, Kristen Welker, just doesn't know anything and just completely speaks without knowledge.
00:44:19.440 But the one thing I know you did not do is incorrectly imply.
00:44:23.600 These people, NBC News, lied or otherwise told a falsehood on the air with the audacity to correct a Republican senator who was right in that instance.
00:44:34.560 And then, you certainly lied in your supposed correction.
00:44:41.060 Whether or not, look, maybe Kristen Welker, maybe these NBC journalists are complete ignorant hacks.
00:44:46.280 Could be.
00:44:46.800 I don't put it past them.
00:44:48.300 But I certainly know that the press team that came out afterward and corrected the record, they lied.
00:44:53.760 That was intentional.
00:44:54.780 There was no way that these people just accidentally watched the wrong footage or something.
00:44:59.080 I don't know.
00:44:59.540 They didn't quite notice what they themselves did.
00:45:02.120 We incorrectly implied.
00:45:03.000 No, you lied.
00:45:05.260 Right there, at least.
00:45:06.320 You got it completely wrong.
00:45:08.560 With these people, even their corrections are lies.
00:45:12.920 Now, speaking of chicanery, this is an important story I want to get to before the end of the show today, before the member segmentum and before we get into the debate tonight.
00:45:19.200 Overall, I'm feeling pretty good about the election.
00:45:24.220 I'm feeling increasingly better about Pennsylvania.
00:45:27.340 I'm feeling okay in the swing states.
00:45:30.120 And especially, you know, tonight's debate will affect the direction of the race.
00:45:34.680 However, there is a threat looming, and this is in Wisconsin.
00:45:38.260 Wisconsin has pretty good voter laws.
00:45:42.200 Okay, Wisconsin, unlike certain other states, has pretty tight voter ID requirements, with one exception.
00:45:48.540 And this was identified by the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, released a research report that showed that there are 144,347 people in Wisconsin classified as indefinitely confined.
00:46:01.700 What is indefinitely confined?
00:46:03.100 It means they can cast an absentee ballot without showing an ID.
00:46:08.080 Now, how many people are indefinitely confined?
00:46:10.820 Well, the numbers have changed quite a lot.
00:46:13.280 During the 2020 election, the indefinitely confined rate skyrocketed in Wisconsin.
00:46:21.420 And during that election, it allowed tens of thousands of people to cast absentee ballots.
00:46:27.100 Tens of thousands of people.
00:46:28.260 That could be the election in Wisconsin.
00:46:29.560 Wisconsin's going to be a very close election.
00:46:31.420 Wisconsin was part of the reason that Donald Trump got elected in 2016.
00:46:35.820 Tens of thousands of votes.
00:46:36.700 Now, according to this organization, Wisconsin has a strong voter ID requirement in place, but there is one loophole that is ripe for exploitation.
00:46:46.440 Absolutely right.
00:46:47.600 Republicans need to engage in whatever lawfare we can to slow this down.
00:46:52.480 Bobby Kennedy, just to show you an example of how we can still affect the ballots this late in the game.
00:46:56.800 And Bobby Kennedy is fighting in certain states to get his name off of the ballot.
00:47:03.840 Certain state secretaries of state are not allowing him to get his name off the ballot, even after they fought with him to get his name on the ballot in the first place.
00:47:10.340 But his fight over whether or not he'll appear on the ballot is actually delaying the ballot, which is good, because we know that when we have weeks and weeks and months and months of voting, not only is that unfair for a campaign, means that the candidates can't continue to make their case, have debates, present information to the people.
00:47:29.080 But we know also that makes the system ripe for abuse, for exploitation, for fraud.
00:47:35.900 It's hard to keep your eyes on the ballot boxes with the same kind of intensity that you would on Election Day for days and days and weeks and weeks and months and months.
00:47:43.900 We need serious lawfare in Wisconsin.
00:47:46.540 This is a loophole that could cost Trump the state.
00:47:48.720 Okay, it's Tee Hee Hee Tuesday.
00:47:49.920 The rest of the show continues.

00:47:59.080 Republicans are Nazis.
00:48:09.460 You cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people.
00:48:13.040 Growing up, I never thought much about race.
00:48:15.000 It never really seemed to matter that much, at least not to me.
00:48:17.660 Am I racist?
00:48:18.840 I would really appreciate it if you love me.
00:48:20.120 I'm trying to learn.
00:48:20.820 I'm on this journey.
00:48:22.100 I'm going to sort this out.
00:48:23.360 I need to go deeper undercover.
00:48:26.420 People say I'm racist.
00:48:27.660 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.
00:48:31.340 Here's my certifications.
00:48:32.460 What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness.
00:48:35.200 This is more for you than this for you.
00:48:36.200 Is America inherently racist?
00:48:37.760 The word inherent is challenging there.
00:48:39.700 I want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument.
00:48:42.860 America is racist to its bones.
00:48:44.720 So inherently.
00:48:45.600 Yeah, this country is a piece of...
00:48:47.260 White folks.
00:48:49.720 White trash.
00:48:50.220 White supremacy.
00:48:51.020 White woman.
00:48:51.600 White boy.
00:48:52.120 Is there a black person around here?
00:48:53.400 What's a black person right here?
00:48:54.740 Does he not exist?
00:48:55.520 They don't say I'm racist.
00:48:56.360 Hi, Robin.
00:48:58.080 Hi.
00:48:58.440 What's your name?
00:48:59.380 I'm Matt.
00:48:59.880 I just had to ask who you are because you have to be careful.
00:49:02.500 Never be too careful.
00:49:03.400 They gonna say you racist!
