Kamala Harris has added a policy platform to her campaign website. Is it a victory lap for me for forcing her to put one on her website? Or is it proof that she's serious about running for president in 2020?
00:03:19.980Kamala has led the Biden-Harris administration's efforts to increase access to capital for small businesses and bring venture capital to parts of middle America that have for too long been overlooked, driving a record 19 million new business applications, tripling the small business administration's lending to black-owned businesses, and more than doubling small-dollar lending to Latino and women-owned businesses.
00:03:43.260So, great news if you are a woman or a racial minority trying to start a business.
00:03:55.300It means the government just spends more money and pays off different insurance companies.
00:04:01.020She promises to raise taxes to bail out Social Security, Medicare, standard stuff, raise the minimum wage, standard stuff.
00:04:08.980She promises two Trump policies, no tax on tips, and a child tax credit, which she took directly from the Trump campaign.
00:04:16.020She promises to spend more money on public schools.
00:04:18.100Here again, she promises to spend more money giving education specifically to non-white people.
00:04:23.560Kamala writes, to date, Vice President Harris has helped deliver the largest investment in public education in American history, provide nearly $170 billion in student debt relief for almost 5 million borrowers, and deliver record investments in HBCUs, tribal colleges, Hispanic-serving institutions, and other minority-serving institutions.
00:04:44.260So, majority-serving institutions, you're out of luck, too bad.
00:04:48.460Kamala thinks it's much more important to just give the money to her favored races.
00:04:52.820Then she promises to kill babies, no surprise.
00:04:55.620Then she promises to push more gay stuff, no surprise.
00:04:58.120Then she promises to rig the elections a bit more by expanding vote-by-mail and early voting, no surprise.
00:05:04.580Take away guns, amnesty, and citizenship for illegals.
00:05:08.340She says she will fight the drug crisis not by closing the border, but by promoting overdose drugs.
00:05:14.560Doesn't seem like the most effective way to do it.
00:05:29.620But most of it is standard Democrat fare.
00:05:33.000Now, how do we know it's standard Democrat fare?
00:05:35.360Brett Baer over at Fox News pointed this out today.
00:05:37.400The source code for her issues page is largely copied from the Biden issues page.
00:05:45.240So, you know, I don't want to claim too much credit here for forcing her to put this up.
00:05:51.620But what some people will say is, well, Michael, you didn't force her to do it.
00:05:55.860It just took her 50 days to write her issues page.
00:05:58.680No, it took her zero days to write most of her issues page because she just stole it from Biden, which is very difficult because she calls her issues page the new path forward.
00:06:09.300She currently has presidential authority on certain important matters.
00:06:13.100And she stole much of the rest of her issues from Joe Biden.
00:06:17.900So, it's exactly the same path that we're on that is not working out very well.
00:06:22.120Now, there is one really, really big issue that Kamala has to deal with and has to answer for to pet owners and geese enjoyers in public parks in Ohio.
00:06:32.800That would be all the Haitian immigrants.
00:06:36.560There are 20,000 non-citizen Haitians that were brought into this small town in Ohio and social media.
00:06:45.080Again, we'll get into the social media accusations about this, but, you know, reportedly killing pets and things like that.
00:06:50.540Well, here is Kamala Harris bragging about the policy that brought the Haitians here.
00:06:57.300That is why, also, starting with our administration, we gave TPS, temporary protected status, to Haitian migrants, 55,000.
00:07:07.520And then more recently, we extended temporary protected status to over 100,000 Haitian migrants for that very reason, that they need support, they need protection.
00:07:22.740Except now it's a little politically unpopular.
00:07:25.180We're not just talking about 20,000 people in a town in Ohio.
00:07:28.900We're talking about, at one point, 100,000 people being given an even more formal protective status.
00:07:35.860Now, the problem with all of this, if you're a conservative, is that the old standard, you know, write your manifesto on the back of an envelope kind of campaign trail line isn't going to work here.
00:09:35.340But J.D. tweeted out, months ago, I raised the issue of Haitian illegal immigrants draining social services and generally causing chaos all over Springfield, Ohio.
00:09:43.960Reports now show that people have had their pets abducted and eaten by people who shouldn't be in this country.
00:09:52.480So here is that months ago testimony that J.D. Vance was referring to.
00:09:58.560Chairman Brown, I'd like to ask unanimous consent to submit a letter for the record from the city of Springfield and our state, the southwestern part of our state, which I think highlights a very real example of this particular concern straight from the horse's mouth itself.
00:10:11.520Now, this letter, I want to quote from it.
00:10:13.560Springfield has seen a surge in population through immigration that has significantly impacted our ability as a community to produce enough housing opportunities for all.
00:10:22.120Springfield's Haitian population has increased 15 to 20,000 over the last four years in a community of under 60,000 previous residents, putting a significant strain on our resources and ability to provide ample housing for all of our residents.
00:10:34.280In my conversations with folks in Springfield, it's not just housing.
00:10:42.660They're trying to build 5,000 new housing units, which is a very Herculean task in a town of about 55,000 people.
00:12:08.140And worth pointing out, as these reports come out of these Ohio towns, that the geese are going missing, it is a federal crime to go kill geese in the park.
00:12:18.900Canadian geese are a protected species, federally.
00:12:23.460But they're a federally protected species.
00:12:25.280And, of course, as with all of these immigration issues, if native-born Americans committed even one fraction of the crimes that the illegal aliens are currently committing, and the people who have been brought over and given temporary protective status are currently committing, they would be in prison, especially if they're white people.
00:12:43.300But for some reason, we just let the illegal aliens and the temporary protected migrants off the hook.
00:12:49.980So that creates certain tensions in communities.
00:12:53.840But I think what this pet thing is really about is just a shocking, sensationalist headline that may or may not be based in reality.
00:13:06.500I haven't really found evidence that it's based in reality.
00:13:09.360But it's to underscore a real and urgent social concern that has been ignored by our political class.
00:14:03.620Due to enormous demand, Birch Gold is offering the 24-karat gold-plated truth bomb for one more month on qualifying purchases.
00:14:10.960You need to text Knolls, K-N-W-L-E-S, to 989898 to claim your eligibility before September 30th.
00:14:17.300Do not wait for the president's spending spree to tank the dollar further.
00:14:21.380Protect your financial future with gold.
00:14:23.460Text Knolls, K-N-W-L-E-S, to the number 989898 to claim your eligibility and make your purchase before September 30th.
00:14:30.600You want to know why some people are accusing the Haitians of eating cats and dogs and geese in their towns.
00:14:38.960It's because of testimony like this from this woman from Springfield, Ohio, the town in question.
00:14:44.580I noticed all of the old familiar spots bearing new signs in an unfamiliar language.
00:14:50.380I watched as groups of strangers walked around the city like lost tourists, and it was like a punch in the gut.
00:14:57.360A terrible sadness came over me, and I began to cry.
00:15:00.780I immediately started to think back to when I was little, walking from my grandma's house on South Fountain through downtown and all the way to Snyder Park,
00:15:09.560going to Renz to get new school clothes and shoes.
00:15:12.000The excitement of the mall for lunch at the Blue Fox, or even better to see Santa.
00:15:17.300Riding down High Street, admiring the beauty of those stately homes and their amazing architecture.
00:15:23.060Dropping pennies in the fountain and making wishes.
00:15:26.160And now, all those warm memories are becoming fuel to the fire of anger inside of me.
00:15:31.580I feel like we have been invaded by some sort of pest.
00:15:34.960I'm angry that my friends and family are packing up and moving away.
00:15:38.240I'm angry that foreigners are using up the resources that were set up for the Americans that reside here.
00:15:45.380I'm angry that another country's flag was being flown in our city.
00:15:49.700I'm angry when I see our businesses and recreational areas littered with garbage left by people that do not know or understand our laws and culture and are making no attempt to learn about them.
00:16:01.100That's what the goosin thing is about.
00:16:03.760It's not about the geese and the cats.
00:16:05.920People don't care about Canadian geese all that much.
00:16:28.980This woman, something tells me she's not a descendant of the Rockefellers.
00:16:33.640Something tells me she doesn't have penthouses on Park Avenue.
00:16:36.260Okay, this isn't, you know, rich Uncle Pennybags sneering on the poor hoi polloi and the migrants who come over.
00:16:44.160This is a woman who comes from a small town in Ohio, and she's been there for a long time, and she's got generational history in that town.
00:16:52.360She has good memories in that town, and then her town was just taken away from her.
00:16:57.900She looks up, and people are speaking and writing in a language she doesn't recognize.
00:17:03.860She looks up, and the country is being filled up with people that are different.
00:17:09.980The people of the town are just being replaced.
00:17:12.860The people who are coming, no knock on them in themselves, but they don't understand the customs.
00:17:18.660They don't behave in the way the people in that town, people in this country, are supposed to behave.
00:17:23.780They're foreign, and they have foreign customs and a foreign language, and they do foreign stuff,
00:17:27.820which is being caricatured and exaggerated to include eating cats and geese.
00:17:31.480But to her point, do we not have a right to our country?
00:26:09.940And it's, I guess it's got, you always feel kind of bad for these guys who think they're going on dates and then they're spilling the beans and, and, but it's important to do.
00:26:17.480Because here you've got the top flack, the guy whose job it is to shill for the DOJ in the Southern District of New York.
00:26:24.940And he's admitting on camera, yeah, this is a complete perversion of justice.
00:26:28.900Alvin Bragg is way ambitious and it's, it's really bad.
00:26:40.940The Democrats might tell us publicly that the reason they're prosecuting Trump is because no one is above the law, but if, you know, they want to abolish prisons and they want, they want to let all the criminals go free.
00:26:51.300So this isn't about anyone being above the law.
00:26:55.440This is about getting Donald Trump, getting revenge on the man who wasn't supposed to win in 2016.
00:27:01.300And then even probably the most charitable interpretation you could take is this is about stopping literal Hitler.
00:27:08.160Democrats have gone all in and said that Donald Trump is literal Hitler.
00:27:11.880Well, if he's literal Hitler, then you can do anything to stop him.
00:27:16.980Anything would be justified according to the liberal mindset.
00:27:19.840This actually ties into what we were talking about during that controversial Tucker Carlson interview about World War II last week.
00:27:26.660When I said, you know, people are focusing on the history and, you know, I thought the, the interview went a little soft on the mustache man, as I pointed out, and was a little bit of a selective history.
00:27:37.260And so the history is being debated, but I said, it's really, the history isn't really the point here.
00:27:41.800The point that is salient and that is interesting is the point on how history plays into myth.
00:27:48.380Because all polities require some kind of myth, some kind of narrative that gives us a lens through which to view our present society.
00:27:55.880And World War II being the biggest, craziest, deadliest war ever is, of course, going to play a large role in that.
00:28:03.620Putting, putting aside any other political considerations.
00:28:06.040And so what, what did we get out of the myth following World War II?
00:28:11.700Well, you get the, the person of Hitler, who the real Hitler, the historical Hitler, very, very evil man, did lots of very, very evil things.
00:28:20.700But not even Hitler was Hitler in the sense that the, the, the role that Hitler plays in our, in our mythos is, is as the incarnation of absolute evil.
00:28:31.480We don't call people the devil anymore.
00:28:33.580We don't say that man, he's the devil, that man, he's Satan.
00:33:01.540They don't need to worry about any of that.
00:33:02.780They just get the money from porn-addicted perverts who are enticed to hand over their
00:33:09.240money to a company that also entices gullible teenage and 20-something-year-old girls to degrade
00:33:19.100themselves permanently on the internet and make themselves into prostitutes.
00:33:23.580What a beautiful business model, isn't it?
00:33:25.320This kind of chart and that kind of take from the vice president of Facebook, the public square, one of the largest platforms on the internet where people speak to one another, it almost makes one want to be a communist.
00:33:40.500It shows you such the evil side of capitalism.
00:33:44.760It almost, I'm not quite ready to pick up the hammer and sickle.
00:33:56.020If you worship GDP, if you worship material wealth, if you worship the almighty dollar above all things, then this is a beautiful business model.
00:34:44.860Does it count as boosting the economy if the economic transaction is just a bunch of perverts forking over cash to women to prostitute themselves?
00:34:54.640Is that really good for the real economy of a country?
00:35:03.120I think it makes us less productive and less competitive.
00:35:06.400That's a good example of an economic statistic that does not reflect economic reality.
00:35:13.920But we, in our modern liberal age, we put so much faith in statistics.
00:35:18.800We put so much faith in scientists and statisticians, sophisters, economists, and calculators, giving us a bunch of models that reflects a material reality, supposedly.
00:35:32.560And the material world, supposedly, reflects all of reality.
00:35:37.140Here's one externality to this particular model.
00:35:39.460You're trading your soul and degrading yourself forever and compromising your family and all the rest of it.
00:35:44.340And the people who are saying this sort of thing are running our country.
00:35:50.460Former vice president of product at Facebook, the kind of person who's controlling the public square in a self-governing republic, supposedly, in which the public square and speech and discourse and persuasion is how we govern ourselves.
00:36:04.240Forget about whatever Kamala Harris's stolen platform says.
00:36:07.980If this is the way our elites are thinking, yikes, we are in trouble.
00:36:11.980Now, we're going to find out what our elites are thinking in even more explicit terms tonight because we're going backstage for the presidential debate between Trump and Kamala, a debate that could determine America's 47th president.
00:37:37.040Now, speaking of prostitutes and the establishment media, ahead of tonight's debate, the Media Research Center analyzed all broadcasts of ABC World News Tonight with David Muir.
00:37:51.400David Muir, I think I'm pronouncing that correctly, is the anchor of that show.
00:37:56.740I remember my grandmother used to love watching him.
00:37:59.540She thought he was a handsome young man.
00:38:00.960You know, I think a lot of grandmothers watch this guy.
00:38:04.140You know, this is people who are accustomed to watching the old network news broadcasts.
00:38:11.080None of my grandmother was quite Republican and conservative.
00:38:14.640But still, there was this holdover from the days when they thought they could really trust the network news, not to be partisan, not to be biased, but just to give them the facts.
00:38:23.720So, okay, does David Muir and ABC World News Tonight, do they just give the facts?
00:38:29.420According to MRC, reviewing all 100 campaign stories that aired on this ABC show from the day Harris entered the race, July 21st through September 6th, that includes weekends, the analysts found 25 clearly positive statements about Harris from the show's reporters, anchors, from voters who are being interviewed, from other nonpartisan sources.
00:38:51.700They found zero negative statements about Kamala Harris, even if you're the biggest Harris fan in the world, even if you're a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat.
00:39:04.120There's nothing about Harris you want to criticize?
00:39:06.320This woman got run out of the Democrat primary for president before the first primary in 2020.
00:40:39.300The one really delightful little fact about tonight is it appears that the Harris campaign finally acquiesced and accepted the debate rules to turn off the candidates' respective microphones when the other is speaking.
00:41:35.560So the only thing she can do is be a sassy, identity politics-playing kind of black lady who yells and snaps her fingers at Donald Trump, the mean white man, with a tint of orange.
00:42:31.440I want to make sure we get to it, though, before it falls out of the news.
00:42:35.080This is going to show you how the media are going to play, regardless of what happens tonight, how they're going to play every day from now until the election.
00:42:45.480Tom Cotton, Republican senator, was on NBC's Meet the Press.
00:42:50.380Tom Cotton pointed out that Kamala Harris never met with those 13 fallen U.S. service members during the extremely bungled withdrawal from Afghanistan under the Biden-Harris administration.
00:42:59.780Kristen Welker, the supposed journalist and news reporter who was interviewing Tom Cotton, tried to correct him.
00:43:10.540And honored the sacrifice of those young men and women.
00:43:33.720And she, that is not true, as even NBC had to admit.
00:43:37.120Meet the Press posted later on that day.
00:43:40.660On our broadcast this morning, we incorrectly implied that both President Biden and Vice President Harris attended the dignified transfer of 13 American service members killed during the Afghanistan withdrawal.
00:43:52.020Biden was in attendance, but Harris was not.
00:44:05.780It was a blunt declaration of fact that was false.
00:44:09.700You lied or your news lady, Kristen Welker, just doesn't know anything and just completely speaks without knowledge.
00:44:19.440But the one thing I know you did not do is incorrectly imply.
00:44:23.600These people, NBC News, lied or otherwise told a falsehood on the air with the audacity to correct a Republican senator who was right in that instance.
00:44:34.560And then, you certainly lied in your supposed correction.
00:44:41.060Whether or not, look, maybe Kristen Welker, maybe these NBC journalists are complete ignorant hacks.
00:45:08.560With these people, even their corrections are lies.
00:45:12.920Now, speaking of chicanery, this is an important story I want to get to before the end of the show today, before the member segmentum and before we get into the debate tonight.
00:45:19.200Overall, I'm feeling pretty good about the election.
00:45:24.220I'm feeling increasingly better about Pennsylvania.
00:45:42.200Okay, Wisconsin, unlike certain other states, has pretty tight voter ID requirements, with one exception.
00:45:48.540And this was identified by the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, released a research report that showed that there are 144,347 people in Wisconsin classified as indefinitely confined.
00:46:36.700Now, according to this organization, Wisconsin has a strong voter ID requirement in place, but there is one loophole that is ripe for exploitation.
00:46:47.600Republicans need to engage in whatever lawfare we can to slow this down.
00:46:52.480Bobby Kennedy, just to show you an example of how we can still affect the ballots this late in the game.
00:46:56.800And Bobby Kennedy is fighting in certain states to get his name off of the ballot.
00:47:03.840Certain state secretaries of state are not allowing him to get his name off the ballot, even after they fought with him to get his name on the ballot in the first place.
00:47:10.340But his fight over whether or not he'll appear on the ballot is actually delaying the ballot, which is good, because we know that when we have weeks and weeks and months and months of voting, not only is that unfair for a campaign, means that the candidates can't continue to make their case, have debates, present information to the people.
00:47:29.080But we know also that makes the system ripe for abuse, for exploitation, for fraud.
00:47:35.900It's hard to keep your eyes on the ballot boxes with the same kind of intensity that you would on Election Day for days and days and weeks and weeks and months and months.
