00:00:30.000 What do you feel in your body when you hear the term white people?

00:00:36.580 I feel like a cringe about it.

00:00:39.020 White, straight, cisgender, man is the top of the pile. 0.99

00:00:42.020 I'm on the top of the pile. It's me.

00:00:44.400 Can I just propose a toast? Raise a glass if you're racist. 0.98

00:00:47.600 It's a racist. 0.93

00:00:49.580 That was really weird. 0.92

00:00:51.260 Don't deny that you're racist. Try not to be racist, but don't, but also don't realize that you're...

00:00:55.260 Until we're willing to talk about these things, healing can't really begin.

00:00:58.020 My daughter's four years old. She's still watching Disney movies and choosing a white princess. 0.99

00:01:02.380 Have you talked to her about that?

00:01:03.360 All of the time.

00:01:04.240 Is racism inherent to whiteness?

00:01:06.600 Yes.

00:01:07.020 Yep.

00:01:07.460 Yeah, probably.

00:01:08.200 Well, yeah.

00:01:09.280 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.

00:01:12.740 Did race exist as a reality before?

00:01:14.620 We made race exist.

00:01:16.120 Does that make sense?

00:01:17.000 It does make sense.

00:01:17.620 What do you mean?

00:01:18.700 What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness. 0.71

00:01:22.200 This is more for you than this for you.

00:01:24.300 Am I racist?

00:01:25.780 In theaters this Friday.

00:01:27.840 Rated PG-13.

00:01:30.800 Last night was the big debate.

00:01:32.800 I'll give you the whole summary.

00:01:34.080 Trump won the first 25 or so minutes.

00:01:36.720 Kamala started to make a comeback by distracting with irrelevant issues. 1.00

00:01:41.300 But the moderators were not willing to leave it in her incapable hands.

00:01:45.420 So they both intervened in the debate, uniformly taking her side and even lying on her behalf.

00:01:52.260 Trump then won the closing statement.

00:01:54.520 So how do you score that?

00:01:55.820 I don't know.

00:01:56.160 I guess a draw.

00:01:57.820 Nothing changes for now except for one big thing, which we'll get into.

00:02:02.480 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:02:03.100 This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:02:03.880 Welcome back to the show.

00:02:23.940 Vanity Fair is furious that people are converting to Catholicism.

00:02:28.840 You know, I guess the theme of today is going to be the liberal media.

00:02:33.200 The liberal media, they're furious that people are converting.

00:02:35.920 The liberal media, they intervene in the debate, make it a three-on-one debate against Donald Trump.

00:02:41.840 The liberal media completely misrepresenting a huge news story involving the pro-trans crowd,

00:02:48.700 anarchists, Antifa, and little old me.

00:03:22.320 That's the debate.

00:03:23.220 You want the 30-second take?

00:03:24.720 What I just said in the intro is the debate.

00:03:26.300 I will give you the highlights.

00:03:28.060 We're going to do this very, very quickly because there was not much substance at the debate.

00:03:34.300 What little substance there was was brought by President Trump, but he had to force that through

00:03:40.700 because Kamala and the moderators were distracting with a lot of nonsense. 1.00

00:03:45.680 The debate was significant.

00:03:47.220 That's the reason we're talking about it right now.

00:03:49.060 But it was not significant because of any particular policy differences between the candidates.

00:03:53.920 The debate was significant because of the way, the most egregious I've seen in my life,

00:03:59.880 the way in which the media came in to bail out Kamala Harris.

00:04:04.940 Kamala Harris, from the opening of the debate, was losing.

00:04:09.160 Here is the very first question and a little bit of Kamala's shaky answer.

00:04:15.380 When it comes to the economy, do you believe Americans are better off than they were four years ago?

00:04:19.400 So I was raised as a middle-class kid, and I am actually the only person on this stage who has a plan

00:04:27.980 that is about lifting up the middle-class and working people of America.

00:04:31.720 I believe in the ambition, the aspirations, the dreams of the American people.

00:04:37.140 And that is why I imagine and have actually a plan to build what I call an opportunity economy.

00:04:42.840 Because here's the thing, we know that we have a shortage of homes and housing,

00:04:48.360 and the cost of housing is too expensive for far too many people.

00:04:51.880 We know that young families need support to raise their children,

00:04:56.600 and I intend on extending a tax cut for those families of $6,000,

00:05:01.900 which is the largest child tax credit that we have given in a long time,

00:05:05.920 so that those young families can afford to buy a crib, buy a car seat, buy clothes for their children.

00:05:11.820 Yeah, cool. Could you answer the question, please?

00:05:17.120 Had there been a competent debate moderator or even just a debate moderator

00:05:21.920 that was not actively working on behalf of Kamala Harris, the follow-up would have been.

00:05:27.980 Actually, even if it had been a liberal, had it been Jake Tapper or Dana Bash from the CNN debate

00:05:34.000 between Trump and Biden, they would have followed up and said,

00:05:36.340 okay, but can you answer the question? Are Americans better off now than we were four years ago?

00:05:42.140 You can hear in Kamala's voice, it's not just the complete evasion of the question,

00:05:45.900 it's not just pivoting to, I have a plan for, I'm going to cut some taxes,

00:05:51.520 I'm going to expand for the child tax credit, which is actually a policy that she stole directly

00:05:58.160 from Trump immediately after the Trump campaign proposed it.

00:06:00.640 But it's even just the quality of her voice. It was a little bit shaky.

00:06:05.820 There was this little lip smacking thing going on. She was losing her words. She was nervous.

00:06:14.580 And that did not bode well for her, at least in the first part of the debate, because

00:06:19.180 that first question from David Muir was the most obvious question in probably the whole debate.

00:06:25.980 If Kamala was going to have any pushback whatsoever, it would have been on 1.00

00:06:31.440 the present state of the country. She's the vice president. She's been imbued with

00:06:35.240 presidential authority by Joe Biden for three years now on certain issues. She's sort of running

00:06:40.260 as the incumbent. Okay, how have you done? Is your administration successful? And she didn't

00:06:46.060 even have an answer to that. So the Republicans were feeling really, really good in the first part.

00:06:50.420 Kamala, Trump was seizing the advantage. He pointed out that in all that gobbledygook about

00:06:56.680 the opportunity and the this and the that, she didn't have any concrete plans.

00:07:01.880 Look, I went to the Wharton School of Finance and many of those professors, the top professors,

00:07:07.200 think my plan is a brilliant plan. It's a great plan. It's a plan that's going to bring up our worth,

00:07:12.620 our value as a country. It's going to make people want to be able to go and work and create jobs and

00:07:18.420 create a lot of good, solid money for our country. And just to finish off, she doesn't have a plan. 0.99

00:07:26.680 She copied Biden's plan. And it's like four sentences, like run, spot, run, four sentences

00:07:34.300 that are just, oh, we'll try and lower taxes. She doesn't have a plan. Take a look at her plan. 0.99

00:07:39.360 She doesn't have a plan. 0.63

00:07:40.420 This was a good bit. And Trump had a few good jabs in here. I love that he points out that

00:07:46.160 the parts of her plan that she did not steal from Trump's campaign, she stole from Biden.

00:07:51.840 And we see this, Brett Baer was talking about this two nights ago, in the source code of Kamala's

00:07:57.520 issues agenda, which she only recently had to put up on her website because we all pressured her into

00:08:02.940 it. Yeah, it's like, I love even the way he speaks like a millennial girl because it is relatable

00:08:10.360 and it's funny. It's like four sentences, okay? It's like run, spot, run. Okay, that was a funny

00:08:16.820 line. At one point, he said he was elated to see that she had stolen so much of his platform and he

00:08:23.660 was tempted to send her a MAGA hat. She was becoming so Trumpy. Those were good lines.

00:08:29.320 Debate's still going very well for Trump at this point. The moderator's still basically just doing

00:08:34.140 their job. Then, you know how much I hate to say I told you so, President Trump was asked about the

00:08:39.720 2020 election. This was obviously going to come up. I predicted that this was going to come up the

00:08:43.840 moment that President Trump said that he lost the 2020 election by a whisker. He said this recently

00:08:51.480 on the Lex Friedman podcast. Trump has maintained for years that the 2020 election was rigged and he's

00:08:57.780 used different terms to describe this rigging and he has focused with greater and lesser specificity

00:09:04.980 on how it was rigged. I think most people can agree it was broadly rigged. The rules were all

00:09:08.920 changed in the days and weeks before the election, in some cases unconstitutionally. So I pointed out

00:09:13.300 this is going to become a big problem because Trump has maintained that he did not really lose the

00:09:17.340 election. Now, he seemed to say, at least if you look at his verbatim words, that he did lose.

00:09:23.240 I pointed out when he said it on the Lex Friedman podcast, it was clearly sarcastic.

00:09:29.940 He said, look, I was winning on election night. I had all the polls set me up. I had all of these

00:09:35.220 votes. And then, what do you know? I lost by a whisker. And he was being pilloried Trump,

00:09:40.040 not only by the left, but even by people on the right, even by people who supposedly support him.

00:09:44.600 And I pointed out, guys, it doesn't take a literary critic to realize he's using verbal

00:09:49.560 irony here. He's not really believing that. He's being sarcastic. And, you know, I hate to say I

00:09:54.700 told you so, Trump vindicated that view last night. Mr. President, for three and a half years

00:09:59.880 after you lost the 2020 election, you repeatedly falsely claimed that you won, many times saying

00:10:05.520 you won in a landslide. In the past couple of weeks leading up to this debate, you have said,

00:10:10.560 quote, you lost by a whisker, that you, quote, didn't quite make it, that you came up a little bit

00:10:15.040 short. I said that. Are you now acknowledging that you lost in 2020? No, I don't acknowledge

00:10:19.920 that at all. I said that sarcastically. You know that. It was said, oh, we lost by a whisker.

00:10:24.240 That was said sarcastically. Obviously, because the diction was so wild. You know, people don't

00:10:29.400 use that phrase. It's unusual diction. Lost by a whisker. Norm Macdonald used to do this,

00:10:37.340 the late great Norm Macdonald. I mention him because Trump is speaking comically. He's got a great sense

00:10:42.300 of comic timing. But Norm would use all this kind of funny, old-sounding jargon, you know.

00:10:47.200 Well, you know, on account of all this sort of, you know, there was once a fella by the name of,

00:10:51.600 you know, he'd use that kind of talk to give his words a verbal irony. So that's what Trump was doing,

00:10:57.360 and he holds firm, which he had to do. He had to say, no, that election was rigged. Election

00:11:03.640 integrity is a very important issue. The Democrats are trying to get rid of voter ID. The Democrats are

00:11:10.240 trying to take away all of our measures that can ensure the integrity and honesty of our elections.

00:11:15.840 He has to do that. One, because it's important and because those sorts of claims are true.

00:11:21.300 But also because if Trump doesn't do that, then he's a liar who's a grave threat to the Republic. 0.92

00:11:28.600 Then he basically vindicates all of the nonsense Democrats have been saying about him. So did very, 0.93

00:11:32.640 very well for the first part of the debate. Kamala Harris scored one big blow in the debate. 1.00

00:11:39.740 Kamala's big blow that she scored was not on any issue. It was not on any historical point. It was,

00:11:45.940 it had no substance whatsoever. And it was almost certainly based on a lie, but it succeeded because

00:11:51.560 it off-footed him. Kamala said that people leave Trump's rallies early. That was it. It was just

00:11:59.300 the newest iteration of saying that Trump doesn't draw big crowds. And Trump was drawn in to take

00:12:07.000 the debate and it shifted the tone of the debate. And all of a sudden after that, she sounded less

00:12:11.240 nervous and President Trump sounded a little bit angrier. Previously, he was just kind of calm,

00:12:16.600 funny, and light. So that was the one area in which Kamala herself succeeded in the debate. And it was

00:12:23.480 only tactical. It was not substantive. But Kamala, you got to remember, Kamala is good at manipulating 1.00

00:12:29.180 men. Kamala launched her political career by manipulating a married man, Willie Brown. Willie 1.00

00:12:36.740 Brown was happy to be manipulated, it sounds like. And I don't even mean this in a provocative way

00:12:41.360 or to cast unnecessary aspersions on Kamala's behavior early in life. I just mean this is her

00:12:47.420 modus operandi. This is the way that she succeeded in politics. She got her political career because of 0.96

00:12:53.660 her adulterous relationship with Willie Brown in San Francisco. That's what launched her into politics.

00:12:57.660 And then, fast forward some years, she got the vice presidency by manipulating Joe Biden during 0.68

00:13:05.300 one debate. You remember in the 2020 presidential primaries when she was still running, she had the

00:13:10.140 audacity and the cleverness to call Biden a racist and to say that she was a little girl who was being

00:13:15.780 bussed to the white school. And because Joe Biden opposed busing, he didn't want her to get an 0.99

00:13:21.040 education. And she made this a big, big issue for Biden. She put him into a corner that forced him

00:13:27.240 to choose a black woman running mate. And at that point, Kamala had the vice presidency because the 1.00

00:13:31.640 only three serious contenders for that position were Karen Bass, member of Congress at the time who was 0.99

00:13:37.160 an actual communist. Like she worked with communist groups in her youth. There was Susan Rice. She was the

00:13:44.800 fall man under Obama for Benghazi. It wasn't going to be her. So it had to be Kamala. That's a clever way 0.97

00:13:50.520 to manipulate an individual man to get political power. She completely flopped with the voters, but 1.00

00:13:55.420 she advanced her career significantly. And then last night, she was manipulative as well. But the real

00:14:02.240 driving force of the debate was neither of the candidates. It was the moderators who, after getting a

00:14:10.740 little sick and tired of watching Trump win decisively in the first part of the debate, they

00:14:15.520 decided that they were going to start to cheat. There's so much more to say. First, though, go to

00:15:34.040 The moderators started to fact-check the candidates. You'll recall during the CNN debate with liberal

00:15:41.180 Jake Tapper and liberal Dana Bash, they did not fact-check the candidates. They allowed the

00:15:44.860 candidates to say their points, and if there was going to be any fact-checking, it would come from

00:15:49.280 the other candidates, as it is supposed to be during a one-on-one debate. The tradition of presidential

00:15:56.380 debate says that the moderators are not supposed to play a prominent role. It's supposed to be the

00:15:59.900 candidates sparring. This changed in 2012 when CNN's Candy Crowley interrupted the debate to 0.98

00:16:07.680 fact-check Mitt Romney when Mitt Romney claimed that Barack Obama waited several days to call

00:16:13.440 the Benghazi attack a terror attack. And she said, no, Governor Romney, that's not true. He did it the

00:16:19.640 very next day. And then it turned out her fact-check, even if it were true, would have been an egregious

00:16:25.960 interruption of a presidential debate. But it turns out she lied. That wasn't true.

00:16:31.020 Mitt Romney was right, Obama was wrong, and Candy Crowley was wrong. And she corrected herself

00:16:38.020 after everyone had tuned out of the debate. But that was an egregious interruption. What happened

00:16:42.440 last night was far, far more egregious. Both David Muir, I always pronounce his name because it's

00:16:47.660 spelled Muir, but it's pronounced Muir. David Muir and Lindsay Davis, who is his co-host,

00:16:53.080 interjected multiple times, I think it was five so-called fact-checks. They were all fact-checks

00:16:59.460 of Trump, even though Kamala Harris said, by my count, more false statements than Trump. In one case,

00:17:06.980 Kamala Harris uttered three false statements basically in one breath. She brought up the very 1.00

00:17:14.140 fine people hoax that even Snopes.com, a left-wing or liberal-leaning website, has debunked.

00:17:20.540 She brought up the, what is the term? It's totally escaping me. I'm having a Rick Perry moment. No,

00:17:30.480 it was a bloodbath. This was the most egregious one. President Trump was speaking to auto workers,

00:17:36.400 and he was describing the economic conditions if Biden slash Harris won re-election. And he said,

00:17:42.560 yeah, it would be a bloodbath. Well, a bloodbath is an economic term. It returns to a complete

00:17:46.900 economic disaster. And immediately afterward, the Libs, including Kamala Harris, said, well,

00:17:54.220 he's going to kill us all. He's threatening to kill all of us. She's repeating all of these 0.99

00:17:58.800 lies and no fact-check whatsoever. But then President Trump points out, speaking of bloodbath,

00:18:03.860 that if Democrats win, they're going to expand abortion, that the Democrats don't just support

00:18:11.000 abortion in the case of the first week or three weeks or even the first trimester.

00:18:16.260 They support abortion up until the moment of birth and even after birth. And he referred to the former 0.82

00:18:20.420 Democrat governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam, who said that if a baby's born and the mom doesn't want

00:18:24.640 it, well, you just put the baby on a table and you have a conversation about what you want to do with

00:18:30.140 it. So Lindsey Davis intervened here and said, Mr. President, that is a lie.

00:18:35.440 Vice President Harris says that women shouldn't trust you on the issue of abortion because you've

00:18:41.420 changed your position so many times. Therefore, why should they trust you?

00:18:45.700 Well, the reason I'm doing that vote is because the plan is, as you know, the vote is they have

00:18:51.280 abortion in the ninth month. They even have, and you can look at the governor of West Virginia,

00:18:56.560 the previous governor of West Virginia, not the current governor, is doing an excellent job.

00:19:00.620 But the governor before, he said the baby will be born and we will decide what to do with the baby. 0.72

00:19:06.960 In other words, we'll execute the baby. And that's why I did that, because that predominates, 1.00

00:19:11.980 because they're radical. The Democrats are radical in that.

00:19:14.840 There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it's born.

00:19:20.220 That is a lie. So first of all, what President Trump said is true. What he said about Ralph

00:19:26.560 Northam, the governor of Virginia, is true. Kamala's shaking her head. No, no, no. It's on video.

00:19:32.300 I didn't even pull the clip today because everyone's seen this video so many times. That happened.

00:19:37.280 But then furthermore, Lindsay Davis says, there is no state in this nation where it's legal to kill

00:19:43.240 a baby after the baby's been born. Not only is that false, Kamala Harris's own running mate,

00:19:50.060 Tim Walls, within the last couple of years, repealed the legal requirement that physicians

00:19:58.780 provide medical care to babies who are born after surviving abortions. Previously, even in states

00:20:07.540 where you can kill babies in the womb, when the baby survives, as sometimes happens, then the babies

00:20:14.760 are entitled to the same medical and legal requirements and rights that all other people

00:20:21.580 are entitled to. The babies in the doctor's office, the doctors are required to provide

00:20:27.560 medical care. Kamala Harris's running mate, Tim Walls, repealed that legal requirement. So in the 0.91

00:20:36.480 state of Kamala Harris's running mate, with that man as governor, a woman can go into a doctor's 1.00

00:20:44.760 office, doctor, a murderer, an abortionist, go in. The doctor tries to kill the baby. He fails. The

00:20:52.980 baby is born alive. The baby is crying on the table. The doctor's no longer required to provide

00:20:59.320 any medical care. It is legal to kill that baby in Minnesota. A post-birth abortion that is 100% 0.99

00:21:07.720 not only correct what Trump said, but demonstrable. This is something that's happened recently.

00:21:14.340 And it's something as close to home to Kamala Harris as it's possible to be. And that woman, 1.00

00:21:18.880 that awful woman, Lindsay Davis, lied about it during the debate, injected herself into the 1.00

00:21:24.480 debate to lie on Kamala's behalf. It was the most egregious of the night. There were many,

00:21:27.740 many others. I mentioned that Kamala Harris uttered three lies right in a row. She mentioned the very 1.00

00:21:34.080 fine people hoax, the bloodbath hoax, and the proud boy hoax that Donald Trump told the proud

00:21:38.480 boys to stand by so they could all take over the Capitol or something. Not one fact check from

00:21:44.880 anyone. Nevertheless, there are going to be a lot of people who don't know the facts and who just see

00:21:49.840 the theater that was put up by ABC News last night. Then, by the end of the debate, President Trump

00:21:56.340 comes in. He lands another big punch on Kamala's fecklessness with the power that she has in the 1.00

00:22:03.500 current administration. They sent her to negotiate peace before this war started. 0.52

00:22:09.020 Three days later, he went in and he started the war because everything they said was weak and stupid. 1.00

00:22:15.940 They said the wrong things. That war should have never started. She was the emissary. 1.00

00:22:20.820 They sent her in to negotiate with Zelensky and Putin. And she did. And the war started three days

00:22:27.920 later. And that's the kind of talent we have with her. She's worse than Biden. 0.99

00:22:32.140 Good point. She is worse than Biden. Biden's bad too. But this woman is really, really bad. 0.93

00:22:38.660 And she's bad because every time you try to pin her down, she makes the opposite claim. So

00:22:45.020 is Kamala the brand new breath of fresh air? She has nothing to do with the failures of the 1.00

00:22:49.940 Biden administration. Okay, she's not qualified to be president. No, no, she is qualified to be 1.00

00:22:54.560 president because she's been helping to run this administration from day one. And this is an

00:22:59.020 equal partnership. And in fact, Biden's imbued her with presidential authority on the border and on

00:23:03.260 high speed internet, rural America. Oh, okay. She's the last person in the room on the Afghanistan 1.00

00:23:08.020 withdrawal. Oh, good. She's really responsible for this administration. Okay. She shouldn't be

00:23:11.920 president because this administration has completely failed. No, don't you try to pin the failures of

00:23:16.140 this administration on her. She's not the president. So any way you try to argue it, they try to slip 1.00

00:23:21.740 away. President Trump then really landed it, I felt, with his closing statement.

00:23:26.140 But I just ask one simple question. Why didn't she do it? We're a failing nation. We're a nation

00:23:34.160 that's in serious decline. We're being laughed at all over the world, all over the world. They're

00:23:39.500 left. I know the leaders very well. They're coming to see me. They call me. We're laughed at all over

00:23:45.240 the world. They don't understand what happened to us as a nation. We're not a leader. We don't have any

00:23:50.540 idea what's going on. We have wars going on in the Middle East. We have wars going on with Russia and

00:23:57.520 Ukraine. We're going to end up in a third world war and it'll be a war like no other because of 1.00

00:24:02.860 nuclear weapons, the power of weaponry. I rebuilt our entire military. She gave a lot of it away

00:24:10.140 to the Taliban. She gave it to Afghanistan. What these people have done to our country, 0.98

00:24:16.660 and maybe toughest of all is allowing millions of people to come into our country. Many of them 1.00

00:24:22.580 are criminals and they're destroying our country. The worst president, the worst vice president in the 1.00

00:24:29.020 history of our country. Very, very strong finish. I suppose we say all's well that ends well.

00:24:34.640 The big takeaway is from the debate. When the debate was one-on-one, Trump was winning pretty

00:24:39.720 clearly. When the debate became three-on-one, even then, three-on-one, it basically ended a draw.

00:24:46.960 I'm not going to say that it was the greatest night for Donald Trump, but he fended off the attacks

00:24:51.820 pretty well. There were a few missed moments, but that's going to happen in any debate. It was

00:24:56.280 basically a draw. So that's not ideal. However, the silver lining to that storm cloud is now, as a

00:25:03.980 result, the Kamala team thinks she won or they think she did well enough that it merits another debate. 0.98

00:25:09.460 The Trump team thinks he did well enough that that would merit another debate. And so Kamala has

00:25:15.380 proposed another debate between the two. That was unclear before this debate. I think Trump should

00:25:19.840 take it. I think that even if it's on a liberal network like NBC or something, there's no way

00:25:25.020 they'll be more liberal and biased than ABC, which is the absolute worst of the worst and has been for

00:25:31.120 many years. The chief political anchor on ABC is the former hatchet man, head of Bill Clinton's

00:25:35.820 White House communications office. Okay. So even NBC would be better. Fox news would certainly be

00:25:40.320 better. Who knows? They should do a daily wire debate. Uh, in any case, uh, doesn't change the

00:25:46.160 fundamentals of the race. It just actually gives an another opportunity for a turning point. If the

00:25:52.080 two of them meet again. Now, speaking of things that come in twos, we are two days away from the

00:25:58.360 daily wires. First theatrical release. Am I racist in theaters nationwide? Am I racist will open in

00:26:02.760 over 1500 theaters this Friday with more screens being added every day. Get ready for the comedy

00:26:07.460 that hilariously exposes the left's race hustling. Am I racist only in theaters Friday. Go to

00:26:12.880 amiracist.com for tickets and showtimes near you. That is amiracist.com. You want to talk about

00:26:20.500 the perfidy of the establishment media. I saw a headline pop up yesterday that interested me in

00:26:29.360 part. It would, the headline itself would have interested me just generally, but it also concerned

00:26:34.980 me in particular. So I gave it special attention and I was confused because just reading the headline,

00:26:41.540 I wouldn't have had any guess that this story concerned me at all. This is from the Pittsburgh

00:26:47.060 Tribune, I guess, Trib Live headline. I recognize the scene here in the picture because I was present

00:26:54.120 at it. The headline is, husband, wife, plead guilty to acts that disrupted transgender rights

00:27:04.480 program at Pitt. Now, I don't, I know they may have even updated that headline there because if you

00:27:11.980 look in the URL and what I read yesterday, it previously said husband, wife, plead guilty to acts

00:27:16.880 that disrupted transgender rights protest at Pitt. But neither of those headlines are true because

00:27:24.280 what really happened is that two anarchists, two Antifa anarchists who are members of an actual

00:27:31.540 anarchist cell showed up to a campus speaking event that I had last year at the University of

00:27:37.940 Pittsburgh. And the protesters at this event were all pro-trans protesters, including the husband

00:27:47.180 and wife anarchist duo here. They, in anticipation of my appearance, lit the street on fire, then burned 0.90

00:27:56.320 me in effigy on the street, and then threw an explosive at the building right as I was about to walk on

00:28:03.080 stage. And in so doing, they injured multiple police officers. And I suspect the reason that

00:28:10.720 they were arrested is because they injured the police officers, which is fine. I'm glad they're

00:28:14.000 being arrested. Now they're facing pretty serious charges, and I guess they pled guilty.

00:28:19.280 But does that sound like husband, wife, plead guilty to acts that disrupted transgender rights

00:28:23.720 protest at Pitt? You're saying that the real crime that they committed was disrupting the other

00:28:34.340 protesters who were setting the street on fire and burning me in effigy. It wasn't that they were

00:28:40.340 trying to blow me up, that they were trying to turn my figurative immolation into a literal immolation

00:28:45.980 as I walked on stage. The real crime wasn't that they injured police officers. The real crime wasn't

00:28:52.940 that they damaged a university building. No, no, no. The real crime was that they took too much

00:29:00.940 attention away from the other pro-trans protesters who were setting other things on fire.

00:29:08.680 That's the media. Local, regional, national, Pittsburgh, Trib Live writers up to David Muir.

00:29:21.080 So thoroughly corrupt. That's how they'll frame anything. I'm glad to see they pled guilty.

00:29:31.280 I hope they didn't get some sweet plea deal. These are people who tried to injure me and many others

00:29:38.180 and did succeed at injuring at least a handful of people. All because I showed up to a university and

00:29:46.560 said men and women are different and then debated that matter with a left-wing sparring partner. 0.99

00:29:55.200 I should say classically liberal sparring partner. The full-on leftist sparring partner I was supposed

00:29:59.340 to debate, who was a professor with a Harvard pedigree, decided that he was not able to do that.

00:30:05.320 He didn't think it would go well for him. All because of that, you get an explosion in a building

00:30:11.340 and the media covering up for them. TD knows that when you're looking for a mortgage,

00:30:44.680 Now, speaking of the libs freaking out, forget about the debate. The funniest political moment

00:30:51.360 caught on video yesterday was when Eric Swalwell in the hallowed halls of Congress, you know,

00:30:55.800 the U.S. Capitol, that sacred temple to democracy, when he whined and screamed and very nearly cried

00:31:04.100 because Republicans were posting cat memes. What in the hell is this? The chairman tweets 0.92

00:31:12.900 protect our ducks and kittens in Ohio because he goes some down, goes down some crazy rabbit hole,

00:31:20.940 completely debunked that aliens are eating pets. My God. Are you okay, Mr. Chairman? Because last year,

00:31:33.120 for a very long time, you tweeted and promoted Kanye West as he was calling for genocide against

00:31:41.040 the Jews and you kept it up. And now when we have victims coming here, you're tweeting this nonsense. 0.79

00:31:48.480 I don't know why you would do this. I hope you're okay. I don't know if the aliens who are eating

00:31:56.380 your ducks are in the room with us right now, but Mr. Chairman, this is a serious issue. These people

00:32:04.300 have loved ones who have been lost. And you tweeted this.

00:32:09.500 And the Oscar goes to, I don't think the Oscar goes to Eric Swalwell.

00:32:14.520 Let me just try to make sense of how everything happened here.

00:32:18.140 Democrats imported hundreds of thousands of unvetted people from a cannibal failed state, 1.00

00:32:30.780 then sent them to these little small towns where the people didn't really want this invasion of 0.89

00:32:40.880 foreigners and didn't really know what to do with it. And now ducks are going missing at the public 0.83

00:32:44.680 park. The, the Democrats bring in these hundreds of thousands of unvetted people from the failed 0.99

00:32:50.020 cannibal state. Then Republicans make some cat memes. And then the Democrats scream and cry and

00:32:59.740 whine and clutch their pearls and say, this is the end of democracy. Is that, do I have that right?

00:33:04.160 Seems to me making some funny cat memes is a less grievous events and imposes a less serious threat

00:33:14.920 to our democracy than bringing in hundreds of thousands. And by the way, I'm just talking about

00:33:20.800 what the Biden Harris administration has done specifically with regard to the Haitian migrants.

00:33:27.280 But of course, Biden and Harris have also brought in millions and millions and millions of other

00:33:31.500 unvetted illegal aliens to invade our country and go to all these small towns where the people don't 0.99

00:33:37.380 like it. Republicans, independents, Democrats too, don't, don't really like it. New York city,

00:33:41.840 the Democrat mayor of New York city saying that illegal immigration is mass, not even just illegal

00:33:46.320 immigration, mass migration is destroying New York city. I, it seems to me that's the greater threat, 1.00

00:33:54.680 but no, the car, you crazy, Mr. Chairman. And now, now this is the story we're getting. 0.61

00:34:01.560 The story we're getting is J.D. Vance and Trump. Now Trump mentioned the Haitians and the dogs and

00:34:07.440 the cats and the ducks during the debate last night. And all these Republicans, Jim Jordan and

00:34:12.020 the house judiciary, they're passing off this fake news that the many, many tens of thousands,

00:34:19.240 at least, if not more Haitians who have shown up to this town are eating animals that they shouldn't be 1.00

00:34:24.280 eating. This is fake news. It's debunked. The fact checkers are just like David Muir and Lindsay

00:34:29.540 Davis, all these super duper fact checkers who lie a lot of the time, but nevermind that they've

00:34:34.440 proven that it's been debunked and well, hold on. Okay. I saw all those headlines about how thoroughly

00:34:40.240 debunked all this is. But then I, I checked in with an actual Springfield, Ohio resident. Here is

00:34:47.740 what he had to say. I think it's like kind of odd that like a guy like me has to come out from doing

00:34:52.800 what I do on a daily basis to have fun because I see what's going on in these streets. And I see

00:34:56.820 you guys just sitting up there in them comfy chairs and suits like, and I'm getting out here

00:35:00.420 every day and I'm broadcasting this and you guys are just sitting up there in suits or something.

00:35:04.500 Like I, I really challenged you guys to get out here and do something. These Haitians are running 1.00

00:35:08.880 into trash cans. They're running into buildings. They're running into, they flipping cars in the middle 0.99

00:35:16.280 of the street. And I don't know how like y'all can be comfortable with this. Like, I don't know,

00:35:21.900 like who's getting paid from this. I feel like, I honestly feel like someone's getting paid from

00:35:26.680 it in the background. They dropping that you got a bunch of people on a bus getting dropped off at

00:35:33.100 a gas station to come down here. I know a single mom that FaceTime me tonight, FaceTime me this morning 1.00

00:35:38.320 at the welfare office that really need, like that really need something. And it's nothing but immigrants 1.00

00:35:44.200 over there. And I don't even want to like seem like I'm coming down on the immigrants because

00:35:48.400 it's the people that's bringing them down here because wherever they're at, that's what they're

00:35:51.940 used to, bro. They're in the park grabbing up ducks by their neck and cutting their head off and

00:35:58.240 walking off with them and eating them like. Pretty crazy, huh? So who am I supposed to believe?

00:36:06.860 The Washington liberal journalists who have never visited Springfield, Ohio,

00:36:12.020 who would break out in hives if they ever had to walk into any normal town in America

00:36:17.740 up to and including Springfield, Ohio. Am I supposed to believe them? Or am I supposed

00:36:21.760 to believe people in Springfield, Ohio? We're just describing their lived experience. Isn't

00:36:26.680 that what the libs are all about? The lived experience? Well, this guy's telling us his lived

00:36:29.540 experience. And he's saying that the migrants who are foisted upon people in these small towns

00:36:36.680 from a failed cannibal state are doing weird stuff when it comes to laws and dietary gustatory

00:36:44.900 behaviors and preferences. Isn't that? Seems like I'm more likely to believe that guy than some

00:36:50.760 liberal hack journalist in Washington, D.C. But no, we're told if you raise any questions about the

00:36:56.020 behaviors of these people that you're a racist. Oh, is that guy a racist? If you're just listening to

00:37:01.220 the show, perhaps you could hear it in his voice. He's not the whitest guy in the world. That's a 0.99

00:37:06.660 black guy. He's supposed to be an anti-black racist? I know. Listen, I understand that the 1.00

00:37:14.880 people who are like David Muir and Lindsay Davis and who lie for a living tell us that the story

00:37:20.040 about the ducks and the other animals that the Haitians are eating is debunked and fake news and

00:37:25.900 it's a hoax and it's a conspiracy. I don't know. What about that guy? That guy said it's real.

00:37:29.640 And furthermore, what are we supposed to think about all this?

00:37:36.600 You know, I know the squishes and the establishment types and the really nice people even. Now forget

00:37:42.820 about the squishes. Even like just the really nice Republicans. They're saying, ah, why are

00:37:46.980 Republicans talking about the Haitian migrants? And why are they using all these evocative images

00:37:54.760 of dogs and cats and ducks? Why did Trump have to bring up those images last night at the debate?

00:38:02.620 Because they're evocative. Because you can talk about mass migration like some boring professor.

00:38:10.680 Ah, well, you understand there are several thousand illegal aliens every day across the way. They have 0.99

00:38:16.560 encounters with Border Patrol and then they are given a court date, but they often don't show up to the

00:38:22.180 court date and they're caught and released sometimes into the country. And this leads to

00:38:26.100 11 million, 12 million, 13 million people who commit crimes at X rate. And they also use the

00:38:31.780 welfare programs at X percent and then they blah. Give me a break. I'm half asleep and I'm the one

00:38:37.340 speaking. Or you can say, yeah, a bunch of crazy Haitians are eating ducks in Ohio and eating people's 1.00

00:38:44.420 cats and cats and stuff, maybe. That's the question. One is using the language of poetry and myth even, 0.99

00:38:52.260 and one is using the language of technocracy and models and statistics and sophistry and economics

00:38:59.780 and calculation. And the former is more politically salient. They both convey true things, which is to

00:39:08.500 say the social disorder brought about by mass migration. They're both conveying true things. 1.00

00:39:14.840 They're just doing it in different ways. And it seems to me that the language of poetry, the language

00:39:20.340 of myth, the language of pathos, the language of democratic politics, lowercase d, is the more

00:39:26.600 effective language to use. And that's the language that Donald Trump succeeds in. Folks, on Friday,

00:39:32.900 I will be taking your questions in the written mailbag and the voicemail bag. And some people don't know

00:39:37.500 how to submit the questions. You go to dailywire.com. You click on the watch page. You click

00:39:43.700 on the Michael Knowles show. You click on submit a mailbag question. That's going to open up an email

00:39:49.320 and win whatever email app you use. You can then write your question. Keep it pithy. If you don't

00:39:55.040 mind, keep it short. Or you can attach an audio file. You just record it on whatever app you use to

00:40:02.160 record your audio files. Keep it to under a minute. Some people want to give me their whole life story.

00:40:05.240 We don't have time for that. I want to get your question on the show. So submit that by Friday.

00:40:08.880 I will hear from you then. My favorite comment yesterday is from FamilyGash7500, who writes,

00:40:14.280 if Springfield's pets really are being abducted and eaten, then I just hope that they don't get

00:40:20.080 Santa's little helper or Snowball 2. So true. So true. I'm really concerned about Springfield.

00:40:25.740 We need to not only throw out Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, we need to throw out Mayor Quimby.

00:40:35.100 There's no question about it. Okay. Speaking of black guys, 0.96

00:40:40.960 Willie Brown is back in the news. I mentioned him. He was the former San Francisco mayor who

00:40:45.740 helped launch Kamala Harris's career. Let's put it that way.

00:40:49.340 This clip has resurfaced. Hat tip to my friend and colleague, Mary Margaret Olihan,

00:40:54.400 who pulled this up yesterday. This is from 1996, I believe. Primetime Live. Describing

00:41:03.580 Willie Brown's rise and giving a little mention and camera appearance to Kamala Harris. See if you can

00:41:09.660 spot her. Primetime continues. Once again, Diane Sawyer. Fasten your seatbelt. If you haven't met Willie

00:41:16.660 Brown yet, you're in for a lively ride. He is about to become the first black mayor of San Francisco.

00:41:23.180 And while so many members of Congress are fleeing politics in droves, he wants to tell you why he

00:41:28.300 still loves the game and plays it the old fashioned way. Eight out of the 10 voters I meet are absolutely

00:41:34.520 persuaded that I know what I'm doing, that I'm pretty smart, that I can get the job done and that

00:41:41.400 I may be a rogue, but I'm their kind of rogue. He's a rogue, all right. Notorious for his

00:41:47.140 flamboyant lifestyle. Flashy clothes, fancy parties, fine women. 0.99

00:41:53.960 Are you his daughter?

00:41:55.680 No, I'm not.

00:41:57.060 And fast cars.

00:41:59.040 Wait a second. I recognize that lady. Fancy clothes, party and lifestyle, fine women. 1.00

00:42:07.700 And who's that fine woman? It's Kamala Harris. And then what's the question asked, I guess

00:42:12.840 by the journalist is, are you his daughter? And she turns and she smiles. She says, no,

00:42:18.440 I'm not. No, I'm not his daughter. I'm his mistress. I don't just bring up the clip to insult

00:42:28.120 Kamala or dredge up her indiscretions and past sins. It's, look, it shows you something that

00:42:37.680 I mentioned at the top of the show, which is that this woman's pretty good at manipulating men 1.00

00:42:41.300 and working men to advance herself politically. That was the beginning of Kamala Harris's political 1.00

00:42:46.280 career. But that's why I bring it up. That's why I bring up this clip now. That clip is from 1996.

00:42:53.680 Kamala Harris has been at this for a long time. We think of Kamala Harris as this new politician,

00:43:02.280 a new crop of Democrat Paul who just pops up. Now we're going to see if she's ready for prime time. 1.00

00:43:09.000 Joe Biden introduced us to her a few years ago. No. Or we think, oh, well, she was in the U.S.

00:43:15.120 Senate, not for very long, but she was there. Okay. She's kind of new to politics. No. 1.00

00:43:19.400 Well, before that, she was the attorney general of California. Okay. She was there for a little bit.

00:43:22.940 She prosecuted some friends of mine. She prosecuted pro-lifers. And so she's,

00:43:27.840 no, it goes back way further. Willie Brown is the start of Kamala Harris's political career.

00:43:34.780 He gets her first political job in California. That was back in the 90s.

00:43:41.980 We're talking about almost 30 years ago, this clip is from. She's been working this a long time. And

00:43:47.980 it vindicates a view that I held back in 2020. I was talking to Ben and I said, watch out for Kamala

00:43:55.060 Harris. I think Kamala is the sleeper candidate in this race. I think she's got real political 0.57

00:44:00.800 chops. And then when she was one of the first people to drop out before the first primary even

00:44:05.280 took place, everyone made fun of me. Is it all so much for watch out for Kamala Harris? But then

00:44:09.480 she finagled her way into becoming the running mate. Now she's finagled her way into ousting the 1.00

00:44:15.420 president and to making herself the nominee. And she might, she might make herself president. 0.93

00:44:19.760 She's got those political chops. She doesn't have retail chops. She's not good at that. 1.00

00:44:24.820 She's not good at kissing babies and slapping back. She descends into that weird cackle and 1.00

00:44:29.040 it's off-putting. She's not good at debating other than trying to manipulate her debate opponent if 1.00

00:44:35.860 it's a man. She's not that good at debating on substance. She doesn't really know issues.

00:44:39.680 She's not a policy wonk. She's not a negotiator. She's not, but she does have behind the scenes 1.00

00:44:45.660 policy chops or behind the scenes political chops rather that have advanced her career.

00:44:50.180 She is no slouch. She's not to be underestimated. This woman has been at this game for a very long

00:44:55.460 time. Now, speaking of Kamala, there was an issue I really wish came up in the debate last night.

00:45:02.780 The moderators weren't going to bring it up. Maybe Trump can bring it up at the next debate.

00:45:07.500 The issue is the drug crisis. We have now the worst drug crisis in the history of our country.

00:45:13.600 The drugs in question here are all coming across the border from Mexico. So it has to do with

00:45:22.240 Kamala's failure as the borders are and the mass migration crisis. But when Kamala was running for

00:45:28.480 president in 2020, she had to fill out candidate questionnaires. This is how organizations and

00:45:35.080 political groups are able to vet candidates. They send them questionnaires and all the candidates

00:45:38.800 fill them out. So the ACLU sends out a questionnaire in 2019 asking her view on drugs. And Kamala Harris

00:45:46.800 said that she wanted to decriminalize drugs. And I'm not just talking about the devil's lettuce. And I'm

00:45:52.880 not just talking about even cocaine. Kamala said she wants to decriminalize fentanyl, which is just a

00:46:01.880 poison that's killing upwards of 100,000 Americans every single year. She wants to decriminalize 0.99

00:46:09.580 fentanyl. She wants to decriminalize heroin. She wants to decriminalize, quote, all drug possession

00:46:15.200 for personal use. This is the worst drug crisis in American history. If you live anywhere in the

00:46:25.860 country, we're not just talking about the middle of the country. I'm talking about the cities. I'm talking

00:46:28.640 about the coasts. I'm talking about anywhere. At this point, with this drug crisis going on for so

00:46:35.220 long, you very likely know someone who has been affected by this and who has died. I do. I bet

00:46:42.780 you actually might know multiple people. At the very least, you know someone who knows someone. This

00:46:49.400 is the worst drug crisis in American history. It amounts to a poisoning of much of a generation of

00:46:56.740 Americans. 2023, 74,702 people died from fentanyl deaths. Overall drug overdose deaths, about 108,000.

00:47:07.600 So the vast majority of those coming from this one drug that Kamala wants to decriminalize.

00:47:12.920 The year before, even more, 76,226 deaths from fentanyl. Overall overdose deaths, about 111,000.

00:47:22.100 Vast majority is still there. This has been going on for years and years and years. How many hundreds of

00:47:26.380 thousands? Over a million maybe at this point from fentanyl. She wants to decriminalize it. 0.99

00:47:34.720 You think, well, it must have been a mistake on the questionnaire, right? Okay, let's talk to

00:47:38.160 Kamala spokesman. This is just last night, ABC News. The reporters on ABC seem to be better than the

00:47:43.260 debate moderators. At the very least, they give a little pushback. Hey, Kamala spokesman, there's no

00:47:48.240 way she really believes this, right? I do want to ask you about this CNN report.

00:47:53.060 It shows Harris voiced support for cutting funding for ICE and for using taxpayer money to fund

00:47:58.260 transgender surgery for detained migrants in 2019. Does the vice president still support those 1.00

00:48:04.180 positions? And do you expect her to address them tonight? Listen, I think these old questionnaires

00:48:11.440 are a complete distraction from the task at hand right now. I think the vice president, frankly,

00:48:15.980 what the American people are actually asking about, right? What the American people are concerned

00:48:19.920 about and what they're asking about is who's going to solve for border security.

00:48:25.060 So he can't just say she doesn't believe it anymore. These old questionnaires,

00:48:30.740 the only time Kamala Harris has run in a Democrat primary, she said this is what she believes.

00:48:35.880 And that happens to have been some three years ago. So, okay, she's changed her views. Politicians 0.50

00:48:41.740 flip-flop all the time, especially the empty suit types say, listen, that does not reflect her view.

00:48:45.500 She's been very clear. She's a prosecutor. But he doesn't. He says, oh, forget about that.

00:48:50.020 Oh, the opioid crisis, that doesn't matter. Oh, the border crisis, that doesn't matter. Now,

00:48:54.800 forget about that. We got to talk about the important issues like Venn diagrams and yellow

00:48:58.280 school buses. This is a major scandal. One could reasonably conclude Kamala Harris just wants us dead. 1.00

00:49:10.220 If she's the border czar and she wants all these murderers, these criminals to cross the border and 0.99

00:49:17.400 kill people, and furthermore, she wants all of this poison to cross the border. And then once the 0.97

00:49:21.560 poison gets here, she wants to decriminalize the poison. One could reasonably conclude she just 1.00

00:49:26.740 wants to kill us. The most charitable interpretation I can imagine is she doesn't understand the law. 0.97

00:49:35.160 She doesn't understand how law works. She thinks that when you decriminalize something, 1.00

00:49:38.260 you get less of it. That's not what happens. That's a liberal and a libertarian fantasy.

00:49:42.540 But even most reasonable libertarians know that's bogus. That's at the time of the worst drug crisis

00:49:50.360 in American history. And to this day, this isn't an old issue. That spokesman made sure this is not

00:49:56.300 some old issue. This is a today issue. Sure hope that comes up at the next debate. I mentioned,

00:50:02.280 just to tie it all back into the media, I mentioned that Vanity Fair is furious that people are

00:50:06.900 converting to Catholicism. We will get into that story tomorrow, because we've run out of time. You

00:50:13.860 know that I'm such a tease, but it's a very important story, and the media are absolute garbage. So we'll 0.99

00:50:17.680 get to that tomorrow. For today, though, it's Woke Wednesday. The rest of the show continues now.

00:50:39.580 Republicans or Nazis, you cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people. 0.97

00:50:44.320 Growing up, I never thought much about race. It never really seemed to matter that much. At least 0.97

00:50:48.300 not to me. Am I racist? I would really appreciate it if you love. I'm trying to learn. I'm on this

00:50:52.480 journey. I'm going to sort this out. I need to go deeper undercover. Joining us now is Matt,

00:51:00.400 certified DEI expert. Here's my certification. What you're doing is you're stretching out of

00:51:05.720 your whiteness. This is more for you than this for you. Is America inherently racist? The word

00:51:09.500 inherent is challenging there. I want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd

00:51:13.440 Monument. America is racist to its bones. So inherently. Yeah, this country is a piece of... 0.88

00:51:18.360 White folks. White trash. White supremacy. White woman. White boy. Is there a black person 1.00

00:51:24.400 around? There's a black person right here. Does he not exist? They don't say I'm racist.

00:51:28.620 Hi, Robin. Hi. What's your name? I'm Matt. I just had to ask who you are because you have

00:51:32.800 to be careful. Never be too careful. They gonna say you racist. Buy your tickets now in theaters
