The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 1574 - The Second Trump Assassination Attempt Explained

00:00:00.000 Yesterday, 63 days after the first assassination attempt on President Trump, which took off part

00:00:05.620 of his ear, 50 days before the presidential election, President Trump was almost assassinated

00:00:11.480 again. So, of course, the liberal media reported on the assassination attempt by blaming it on Trump.

00:00:17.900 Today's apparent assassination attempt comes amid increasingly fierce rhetoric on the campaign

00:00:22.820 trail itself. Mr. Trump, his running mate J.D. Vance, continue to make baseless claims

00:00:27.840 about Haitian immigrants in Ohio. This weekend, there were new bomb threats in that town. Our

00:00:33.800 Maggie Vespa is in Columbus, Ohio, with more. Lester simply puts Springfield, Ohio, has been

00:00:39.680 inundated by threats over the last several days, closing government buildings, schools, hospitals.

00:00:45.680 The assassination attempt today, the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump,

00:00:49.880 comes as he totally deserves it. He totally deserves it because he said that migrants 1.00

00:00:56.160 are eating cats in Ohio, which they are, by the way. He says it's a baseless claim. We have

00:01:00.120 the evidence for it coming up later in the show. But even if it were fake, by the way,

00:01:04.540 even if it were totally fake, which it's not, it's real. But even if what he said had absolutely

00:01:09.780 zero basis in reality, you're going to tell me, yes, the real story here is how much Trump deserves 0.99

00:01:17.540 to be shot. That is a pretty extreme take, even for the establishment media. They hate Trump. 0.90

00:01:26.200 But they don't want to talk about the attempted assassination, the second attempted assassination

00:01:31.440 of the former president and current Republican presidential nominee. 1.00

00:01:36.500 They immediately blame him for almost being killed again and then move on to some other stupid 1.00

00:01:43.920 story. That's weird. They don't want to talk about it. But we will. The alleged assassin, 1.00

00:01:52.500 Ryan Routh, is a Democrat voter and donor who was known not only to law enforcement for years,

00:01:58.520 but to the establishment media, including the New York Times, which has interviewed Mr. Routh.

00:02:06.340 He was known for working on behalf of the Ukraine Foreign Legion. The first assassination attempt

00:02:12.520 occurred 19 days after the first presidential debate, which was disastrous for Democrats.

00:02:16.800 Yesterday's attempt occurred five days after the second presidential debate,

00:02:20.260 which went better for Democrats, but which really didn't succeed at blunting Trump's support.

00:02:24.460 So many are wondering about these strange coincidences. Many are speculating

00:02:28.880 as to what it all means. Who is this man? Did he have institutional support?

00:02:34.860 What do we make of the many strange coincidences in both assassination attempts? We will get into

00:02:43.360 the details. The clearest takeaway is this. Assassins generally don't target politicians who are or are

00:02:51.560 likely to remain powerless. There are 49 days until the election. This is not the end of the story.

00:03:00.140 I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:03:16.680 Welcome back to the show. I mentioned cats being cooked in Ohio. We'll get to that because

00:03:24.920 our friend Chris Ruffo has the goods. While the liberal media have called this a crazy wild

00:03:30.820 conspiracy theory, he has video of this actually taking place because he is a very good journalist

00:03:35.820 and gets a lot of scoops. There's so much more to say. First, though, go to dailywire.com slash shop.

00:03:40.880 This is, I suppose, a fitting ad for the show with the stories today. This is for the collected poems

00:03:47.880 of Donald J. Trump. Do you remember when checking Twitter was the first thing you did every morning?

00:03:53.500 Eager to see what President Trump had shared overnight. You can relive that moment that

00:03:59.860 reshaped presidential communication and captivated a nation with the collected poems of Donald J.

00:04:05.180 Trump. I have had my copy of the collected poems of Donald J. Trump for years now. A friend of mine

00:04:12.420 made this, and there were not very many copies printed, and he gave me one, and I really cherished it.

00:04:17.620 You can see it's Trump tweets written as poems on very high-quality paper. They're poems in the

00:04:25.000 style of E.E. Cummings, but it's the words of Donald Trump, meticulously compiled from the

00:04:31.280 president's most prolific period. This collection transforms Trump's tweets into poetic form.

00:04:36.700 Own a piece of history that makes the perfect coffee table book by going to dailywire.com slash shop

00:04:41.800 today. Who is the man who tried to murder Trump again yesterday? He was known to law enforcement.

00:04:55.740 He was known to the liberal media. He was known to the New York Times. He was obsessed, fanatically

00:05:05.760 obsessed, with the war in Ukraine. He tried to recruit soldiers for the war in Ukraine to fight

00:05:13.160 on behalf of Ukraine. He gave interviews to the establishment media in print and in

00:05:20.240 video. Here we have an interview he gave to Semaphore. This guy's name is Ryan Routh.

00:05:26.960 Most of the Ukrainian authorities do not want these soldiers, said Ryan Routh, head of the International

00:05:30.980 Volunteer Center in Ukraine, a private organization which helps foreigners seeking to assist the war

00:05:35.600 effort to connect with military units and aid groups. I have had partners meeting with Ukraine's

00:05:40.180 Ministry of Defense every week and still have not been able to get them to agree to issue one single

00:05:44.100 visa. He's talking about Afghans, Afghanis, that he was trying to bring over to fight in Ukraine after

00:05:51.660 the Taliban took over Afghanistan. So this is a guy who has fairly sophisticated foreign connections.

00:06:01.800 Let's leave it at that. The New York Times wrote about him. This was a year ago. This was more than

00:06:06.920 a year ago, June 2023. With Foreign Legion growth stalling, Ryan Routh, a former construction worker

00:06:12.420 from Greensboro, North Carolina, is seeking recruits from among Afghan soldiers who fled the Taliban.

00:06:17.460 Mr. Routh, who spent several months in Ukraine last year, said he planned to move them, in some

00:06:22.760 cases illegally, from Pakistan to Iran to Ukraine. He said dozens had expressed interest.

00:06:27.300 We can probably purchase some passports through Pakistan since it's such a corrupt country, 1.00

00:06:31.320 he said in an interview from Washington. It's not clear whether he has succeeded,

00:06:34.980 but one former Afghan soldier said he had been contacted when he was interested in fighting

00:06:38.420 if it meant leaving Iran where he was living illegally. So I read those to point out,

00:06:44.500 this is not just some, I mean, I'm sure he's a wacko too, but he's not just some wacko. This is a guy who 0.84

00:06:50.140 was actually doing things in politics, in international politics, things that were being

00:06:56.460 noted by Semaphore, by the New York Times. Here's a video interview that this guy gave that was

00:07:03.900 obtained and published by Newsweek. The question as far as why I'm here, to me, you know, a lot of

00:07:10.400 the other conflicts are gray, but this conflict is definitely black and white. This is about good

00:07:15.040 versus evil. This is a storybook, you know, any movie we've ever watched. This is definitely evil

00:07:20.740 against good. I mean, we're battling a situation here where, you know, the Ukrainians and the rest 1.00

00:07:27.440 of the world are caring and kind and generous and unselfish and take care of one another. And it's just

00:07:35.440 a matter of, you know, we need to stand up for that. That is the most important thing in the world is

00:07:41.480 just to show human beings that we're kind and we're caring and that we take care of one another

00:07:45.720 and that the world is united so that we feed each other and make sure that, you know, we all move

00:07:51.720 forward as one collective whole unit. So, you know, we feel the pain of one country's failure and their

00:07:59.000 conflicts and we enjoy the successes of other countries that are doing good and we all work

00:08:04.780 together. And for some reason, Russia does not grasp this concept that we're all one unit.

00:08:10.600 So, if you're just listening to this guy, he sounds a little out there. You know, he's speaking in

00:08:16.320 really vague terms. Most important thing in the world is just, you know, he's showing because

00:08:20.400 Ukrainians are nice and Russians aren't nice and we have to show the world how that's the most 1.00

00:08:25.840 important thing is to show them how nice Ukrainians are. He sounds a little wacky. If you're watching,

00:08:30.400 he looks even wackier. He's wearing a t-shirt, a sort of ill-fitting t-shirt. His hair is looking

00:08:34.960 all crazy. He's got a little bit of a scraggly whiskers, short little beard. So, he seems out

00:08:40.900 there. But I think he gave that interview from Ukraine. So, this is a guy who was actively

00:08:45.440 contacting Afghani soldiers and who apparently spent, reportedly spent some time in Ukraine and was

00:08:54.180 pretty seriously working there. This guy, Routh, then appeared in a commercial for the Ukrainian

00:09:02.100 Armed Forces. It's being reported that it's actually for the Azov Battalion, which has Nazi

00:09:07.320 connections. Here's a commercial that just popped up and obviously went viral yesterday.

00:09:12.780 The force of the action is appeal to what leaders.

00:09:18.300 There's another young woman. There he is. There's the guy and then some other young woman and it's all

00:09:21.880 just different faces. So, it's kind of odd. This guy's been popping up in the media, including in a

00:09:26.420 fairly glossy commercial. Now, this should set off your coincidence detector because

00:09:33.500 64 days ago, after the last assassination attempt on Trump, the shooter in that case,

00:09:40.380 who did succeed at killing people, also was discovered to have appeared in a commercial.

00:09:46.760 In that case, it was a commercial not for the Azov Battalion, but for BlackRock.

00:09:50.000 My name is Brian DeLallo. I teach AP and honors economics in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

00:09:56.460 Financial well-being to me is knowing that.

00:09:57.480 I think he pops up again in a commercial, but that's enough of it. We don't need to see any more

00:10:01.060 of that guy than we have to. So, what do we make of all this? That's the background. Facts are coming

00:10:07.580 out now. The news is developing even as we're speaking right now. But people, of course, are jumping

00:10:14.340 to all sorts of conclusions. The fact that this guy has so many shady, shadowy foreign connections,

00:10:22.020 particularly with regard to this war, which is a proxy war for the American deep state versus Russia,

00:10:28.460 this war in Ukraine. People are jumping to all sorts of conclusions. Was it the deep state? Is this

00:10:34.440 an example of the deep state, one of the intelligence agencies or some shadowy force in the US government

00:10:40.520 trying to assassinate Trump? Was it Ukraine trying to assassinate Trump? Was it just some rabid

00:10:47.820 Democrat? This is a guy who probably should have mentioned this off the top. I'd mentioned it in

00:10:51.740 the introduction, but an important part of this guy's biography is that while he is unregistered

00:10:57.520 with any political party, according to reports, he has donated to Democrats. He's written all sorts of

00:11:03.620 posts in defense of Democrats. He had a tweet about how democracy is on the ballot, using a line

00:11:09.860 from the Biden campaign. So he's a big lib. Is he just a rabid, crazy liberal Democrat?

00:11:18.700 I don't know. I don't know what it is. And you're going to have people say, no, it certainly wasn't 0.99

00:11:23.980 this group or it certainly wasn't that group. I don't know. I don't know what it is. No one really

00:11:27.340 knows. This is pretty weird. We haven't seen this. A presidential election year where a former

00:11:32.960 president is running for reelection, wins his party nomination, is for much of the race, at least,

00:11:38.680 the leading candidate in the race, a candidate that many shadowy forces in America have been

00:11:44.480 trying to shut down since the first time he ran in 2015. They spied on his campaign. They tried to

00:11:51.440 undermine his administration. They impeached him twice over nothing. They tried to imprison him.

00:11:56.880 They prosecuted him. First time a former president's been prosecuted ever. They prosecuted him on four

00:12:01.200 different fronts and counting. They then established the conditions, at the very least,

00:12:06.540 that justified an assassination attempt. There was a successful assassination attempt. It did hit

00:12:10.960 him in the head. He survived, it seems miraculously. Then a second assassination attempt. We haven't

00:12:16.280 seen anything like this before. So you ask me, is it the deep state? Is it Ukraine? Is it because

00:12:24.540 Trump is threatening to end the war in Ukraine? Well, what does that mean? Maybe that means that 0.73

00:12:28.340 Zelensky is not going to get everything that he wants and the American gravy train is going to 0.63

00:12:32.340 be cut off. Well, then Ukraine has a big motive to try to take him out. Is it some rabid Democrat?

00:12:38.800 Is it? I don't know. What I know is all of those different groups have already gone to illegal lengths

00:12:46.640 in the past to destroy Trump and his movement. That's what I know. You want to tell me,

00:12:52.120 oh, it couldn't possibly be part of the government that did this. I don't know. They illegally spied on

00:12:56.100 him and they committed all sorts of crimes to undermine his campaign and administration. So

00:13:00.720 don't tell me that they wouldn't go beyond the boundaries of the law to take him out.

00:13:06.160 They've already proved that they would. Oh, it couldn't possibly be Ukraine. It couldn't 1.00

00:13:09.700 possibly be Ukraine. Ukraine put me on a hit list. Okay. Ukraine has engaged in all sorts of 1.00

00:13:15.720 shadowy actions, both through the official government of Ukraine and especially through

00:13:20.120 these non-governmental organizations and all these quasi semi-private groups. Ukraine has already

00:13:26.640 exceeded the boundaries of decorum at least. And I think we would say the law.

00:13:32.780 What about some rabid Democrat? The Democrats would never do this. What are you talking about?

00:13:36.660 Joe Biden launched his campaign on the premise that Trump is an existential threat to democracy and

00:13:41.980 he's the next coming of Adolf Hitler. That justifies assassinating him. So all of these groups 0.96

00:13:47.320 would do it. They've all told us they would do it. I have no reason to believe that any of them would

00:13:53.400 not. We don't know what it is. Are we going to find out what it is? There's 49 days left to the

00:13:58.740 election. Are we, have we seen the last of it? You know, I got to give it to my friend, Drew Klaven.

00:14:06.620 Some of my other colleagues at the Daily Wire say, well, that's it. That debate, that was the final

00:14:11.000 potential inflection point of the campaign. That's it. We're not going to see any more.

00:14:14.360 And Drew keeps saying, I don't know. I think there's a twist or two left in this race.

00:14:18.840 Well, here's the, here's the latest twist.

00:14:22.320 Oh, I don't, it couldn't be, it couldn't be the government. It couldn't be Ukraine. It couldn't be

00:14:26.500 the Democrats. All of them have expressed a desire to take this guy out by any means necessary.

00:14:31.280 Kamala Harris joked about this. She joked, this is now an older clip, but she joked on the Ellen

00:14:37.160 DeGeneres show about killing Trump. There's so much more to say first though, go to expressvpn.com

00:15:44.080 slash Knowles today. First of all, the two people who have now tried to kill Trump

00:15:49.120 were both Democrat donors and rabidly anti-Trump, obviously. And Kamala Harris on

00:15:54.960 the Ellen DeGeneres show joked about killing him. If you had to be stuck in an elevator with

00:15:58.880 either President Trump, Mike Pence, or Jeff Sessions, who would it be?

00:16:02.000 Does one of us have to come out alive?

00:16:12.920 Okay, some people are going to listen to this and say, oh, you know, it's just a joke.

00:16:18.940 And what, you wouldn't make a joke about that? You and one of your enemies is in, oh, is one of us

00:16:22.920 going to come out alive? Okay, you're right. That is just a joke. It's just a joke, right?

00:16:26.040 Except in this case, it isn't. It's just a joke, except in this case, the Democrats have told the

00:16:36.100 joke so many times and with such a straight face. And then they've followed through on the joke and

00:16:44.220 they've made it a reality. They've made it a very serious fact. Was Maxine Waters joking when she

00:16:50.740 said, when you see Republicans in public, you got to push back on them. You got to show them they're

00:16:54.120 not welcome here. Was Hillary Clinton joking when she said, you can't be civil with these people. 0.97

00:16:58.940 You can't be civil with Republicans. Was the assassin joking when he left California to show up to the

00:17:05.240 home of Justice Brett Kavanaugh and try to murder him and potentially his family? Were the leftists,

00:17:10.300 were they joking when they protested outside the home of Sam Alito in violation of the law,

00:17:15.300 the law which was not enforced and forced Alito to flee his home? Were they joking? Was the shooter

00:17:20.900 in Pennsylvania? He was just joking. It was all just kind of a joke. Were they joking when they

00:17:26.340 said Trump poses an existential threat to democracy and he's a Nazi and he admires Nazis and he threatens

00:17:32.120 the very existence of the Republic? It's only a joke if you're joking. They're not joking. Kamala isn't

00:17:41.660 joking. She cackled when she made that joke. But these guys are deadly serious. Emphasis on the word

00:17:49.180 deadly. Remember Colonel Vindman? I forget his formal title, but I remember he really insisted

00:17:54.900 on it. This guy, Alexander Vindman, who was some loser from the federal government, who undermined,

00:18:00.520 he was a subversive force in the government. He tried to throw out a democratically elected

00:18:05.020 President Trump. He was very involved in the Ukraine impeachment of Donald Trump.

00:18:09.440 And he's fanatically in favor of continuing the war in Ukraine. And when he was referred to as

00:18:15.620 Mr. Vindman, he said, I'm Lieutenant Colonel, I'm Lieutenant Deputy Assistant Junior Colonel

00:18:20.320 Vindman. And I insist that you use my title. He was just one of the biggest jokers I've ever seen

00:18:25.780 at the federal level. And that's saying something. Yesterday, his wife reacted to the news of Trump

00:18:32.040 almost being murdered again. And her tweet was, no ears were harmed. Carry on with your Sunday

00:18:37.400 afternoon. Is she joking? I don't know. It seems to me, I'm getting the feeling these people

00:18:44.180 aren't really joking. Remember the left-wing response, including from elected officials and

00:18:50.440 fairly prominent Democrats after Trump was shot in the head, but survived the first time.

00:18:55.700 The left-wing response was, man, next time they need better aim.

00:18:59.520 What a tragedy he missed. That was their reaction. These are sick people, man. And

00:19:06.400 they're not just joking around. You can draw a direct line from the Biden and now Harris campaigns

00:19:18.340 to the shooter yesterday. You know how you can draw that direct line? Because there's a tweet

00:19:23.820 from the shooter that says, democracy is on the ballot. He writes to, this was just back in April

00:19:29.740 of this year. He writes to the president of the United States, whoever that is, I guess we don't

00:19:33.420 really know right now. Your campaign should be called something like K-A-D-A-F. I don't really

00:19:38.960 know it. Oh, keep America democratic and free. Trump should be massa. Make Americans slaves again,

00:19:45.400 master. Democracy is on the ballot and we cannot lose. We cannot afford to fail. The world is counting

00:19:51.540 on us to show the way. That tweet written by the alleged assassin yesterday could have been written

00:19:57.420 by the Biden campaign. It's just a series of Democrat talking points. It's a series of Biden-Harris

00:20:06.660 talking points. He obviously wrote this back when Joe Biden was the nominee, but Harris literally

00:20:11.520 copied and pasted Joe Biden's presidential platform. You can see it in the source code of her campaign

00:20:16.200 website. Your campaign should be called Keep America Democratic and Free. Okay, those are the

00:20:22.000 themes of the Democrat campaign this year, right? Democracy, freedom. Kamala's playing all the freedom

00:20:27.620 songs at the DNC. Trump's should be called Make American Slaves Again, master. Well, this was Joe

00:20:33.100 Biden's attack on Mitt Romney a dozen years ago. These Republicans want to put you all back in chains.

00:20:38.740 That's straight out of the Democrat talking point book. Democracy is on the ballot and we cannot lose.

00:20:43.460 Democracy is on the ballot. That is straight from the Biden and Harris campaigns. We cannot afford to fail

00:20:48.380 straight from the Democrat campaigns. The world is counting on us to show the way. Every word there

00:20:53.800 could have been written by the Democrats. And so it's why I'm so sickened when I see Kamala

00:21:00.260 and the White House come out and say, oh, we're relieved that Trump is okay. You're relieved that

00:21:05.340 Trump is okay. You justified the shooting. You continue to justify the shooting by calling Trump an

00:21:10.900 existential threat to the Republic, by saying he imperils democracy itself, by comparing him to Hitler.

00:21:17.160 You justify the shooting. This guy is only spouting your talking points

00:21:21.720 regardless of whether or not he is directly collaborating with anyone. And there are

00:21:27.880 serious questions about this. Did Ukraine put him up to this? Did some NGO that maybe has some

00:21:33.500 connection to the United States put him up to this? Was he acting alone? Even if he's acting alone,

00:21:37.220 he's acting under the inspiration of the Democrats. He's parroting their talking points

00:21:40.420 to justify killing Trump. And is this the end? 50 days left to go. I don't think we have any more

00:21:48.280 debates coming up, which might be good for Trump since the shootings seem to occur after the debates

00:21:53.720 where the Democrats don't win or don't have a clear enough victory. There's so much more to say.

00:23:13.840 Matt Walsh about three, four days ago. This was to figure out not only whether or not we are racist,

00:23:22.540 but if we can correctly identify whether or not the other is racist.

00:23:26.360 Poor kids are just as smart as white kids. Isn't that Biden's famous? It's a Biden quote. 0.98

00:23:32.760 Yeah, that's a famous Biden quote. That's what you think of me. I don't know what you're going to

00:23:39.880 say. I don't know what you're going to say. I mean, I'm going to say yes. What about all races?

00:23:45.760 I'm just trying to figure out some way to get you in trouble.

00:23:47.800 Am I racist? Why do you judge by the color of our faces? It's racial division. It's the plan 0.96

00:23:54.280 by the matrix. They brought down our cities, then they get called courageous. Instead of

00:23:58.140 condemning the media, give them praises.

00:24:05.400 The politically correct version of this episode is available now on the Michael Knowles YouTube

00:24:09.900 channel. However, if you want to see the full uncensored episode, including two questions not

00:24:13.620 allowed on certain big tech platforms, exclusively for Daily Wire members, you've got to go check that

00:24:19.660 out at Daily Wire Plus. We're going to turn from the Trump assassination for just a moment,

00:24:26.960 turn to Haitians grilling cats, allegedly. So there's this claim that migrants in Ohio are grilling cats.

00:24:38.300 And the left has said that this is fake news. Trump brought it up in the debate.

00:24:42.720 The left has said this is debunked, fake news, hateful, xenophobic, racist, terrible language.

00:24:51.080 So Chris Ruffo, a national treasurer, has footage of, this is gross, if you're watching the show,

00:25:00.680 maybe close your eyes for the next 10 seconds. He has footage of a cat being grilled in Ohio.

00:25:07.040 So you can look at, even for me, I'm not the biggest animal person in the world,

00:25:10.040 and it's, I can't even look at it. Chris writes, we've discovered that migrants are in fact eating 0.94

00:25:15.380 cats in Ohio. We have verified with multiple witnesses and visual cross-references that

00:25:19.480 African migrants in Dayton, the next city over from Springfield, barbecued these cats last summer.

00:25:26.240 And I can already hear the rebuttal. I can hear what the operatives at Media Matters or

00:25:32.200 Right Wing Watch or whichever left-wing group is presently watching the live broadcast.

00:25:36.660 They're going to say, Michael, this proves that we're right. Because Trump said that it was

00:25:43.660 Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio, grilling cats. And that video only shows that it was African 0.99

00:25:51.580 migrants in Dayton, Ohio, grilling cats. Ha ha, debunked, seven Pinocchios. Ha ha, it's a lie. 1.00

00:26:00.460 Please pardon my imprecision, perhaps my sloppy read of politics.

00:26:11.520 It doesn't really matter to me if the migrants grilling pet cats are from a slightly different 1.00

00:26:21.560 country and doing so in a slightly different Ohio town. That seems like a minor part of the story.

00:26:29.000 Migrants are grilling pets in America. That is true. The libs told you that that isn't happening, 1.00

00:26:36.220 and we have a video of it happening. And it's happening not by Afro-Caribbean migrants,

00:26:43.680 but by African migrants. And it's happening not in Springfield, but in Dayton. And who knows? 0.79

00:26:49.880 It's probably happening in Springfield, too, and it's probably other migrants, too. But we just don't 0.99

00:26:52.960 know. I'm saying we only have video, actual video. You're seeing it with your own eyes evidence

00:26:58.080 of this happening. And that's going to be the rebuttal from the libs. I have to tell you,

00:27:04.260 to me, this is vindicating Trump bringing up the cats and the dogs in the debate.

00:27:10.760 All the genius pundits said, oh, why did he have to bring up the,

00:27:13.680 why? He just should lay off the cats and the dogs. It's weird. It's very online.

00:27:18.340 I don't, it's not, why can't he just focus on the economy? And this is, you'll hear this often

00:27:23.780 from GOP strategists. Just talk about the economy. You know, this was basically the whole Mitt Romney

00:27:27.420 campaign. Just talk about the economy. It didn't work very well, of course, against Barack Obama.

00:27:31.820 And Trump goes out there, he goes, they're eating the cats. They're eating the dogs. And

00:27:37.260 that was the most compelling moment of the debate for most people, or certainly up there,

00:27:42.820 maybe with the abortion exchange. And the GOP consultants, though, head in their hands.

00:27:47.880 Just, oh no, this is absolutely terrible. Well, I don't know. What was the consequence of that?

00:27:51.520 The consequence of that moment was the left took the bait, started reacting, said this was totally

00:27:57.500 fake. Then the conservatives were able to prove it's real with video evidence. And everyone else

00:28:03.440 was so jarred by it. They started talking about, wait, what? Eat the cats, eat the dogs. It trended on

00:28:07.120 TikTok. They're eating the cats, eating the dogs. And you got Zoomers like doing little jigs to it. 0.96

00:28:11.500 And then what happened? As they're all debating this, whether or not migrants are eating cats and

00:28:18.000 dogs, people are then once again talking about the immigration issue, which is one of the strongest

00:28:24.300 issues for Trump. And it is the weak point for the Democrats. And it has actually reframed the

00:28:30.700 national conversation in a way that I think benefits Trump. Even though he said a silly thing about cats 0.83

00:28:35.540 and dogs, he ended up being proven basically right. Maybe, who knows? We'll see what more video

00:28:42.040 emerges. But maybe he got slight aspects of the minor details a little bit off, maybe. But the thing he

00:28:49.540 said, the actual story that he's talking about, 100% proven correct. And at a deeper level, Americans

00:28:57.700 don't like the mass migration. That's not just Republicans. That's independents and that's Democrats.

00:29:01.380 And now, Kamala wanted to frame the election as one about access to contraception and IVF or something. 1.00

00:29:11.680 Trump has reframed it again by speaking in his compelling way about migration. And he did it by

00:29:19.040 talking about migrants eating cats and dogs, which they are doing. You know that this is a sensitive

00:29:25.700 spot for the libs because they are calling Trump's ticket Nazi over it. Here's a headline from the

00:29:34.140 New York Times on the very day or the day before Trump is nearly assassinated again. Headline,

00:29:41.060 J.D. Vance's blood and soil nationalism finds its target. This is written by some person named Jamel

00:29:45.920 Bowie, who writes for the New York Times. Of course, once again, justifying assassination because

00:29:54.220 the phrase blood and soil is associated with the Nazi party. It's a German phrase that predates the

00:29:58.720 Nazis, but it's very closely associated with the Nazis. So the headline is just that Trump's ticket

00:30:03.580 is a Nazi ticket, which of course justifies assassinating the top and bottom of the ticket.

00:30:09.720 The New York Times realized this looked really bad, especially in the light of an assassination

00:30:14.580 attempt. So they retitled it, shouldn't J.D. Vance represent all of Ohio? Went from J.D. Vance's

00:30:20.680 blood and soil nationalism finds its target. Then shouldn't J.D. represent all of Ohio? Because

00:30:25.860 he's the Ohio senator. And the thesis, I won't force you to even listen to writing from this

00:30:32.680 illiterate column. But the thesis is that J.D. Vance is not nice enough to the Haitians that Joe

00:30:41.480 Biden and Kamala Harris imported into Ohio, largely against the will of Ohioans. That's the thesis.

00:30:47.180 J.D. Vance and Trump should not criticize the Haitian migrants who are driving their cars into

00:30:54.080 school buses and buildings and who are taking up housing and who are maybe taking ducks and geese

00:31:00.720 from the park and who knows what else with animals that they shouldn't be eating. J.D. Vance needs to

00:31:06.940 stop criticizing that. And if you do criticize that, you're a Nazi. Because of course, this isn't 0.97

00:31:13.760 about J.D. Vance and it isn't about Donald Trump. If you live in Ohio, if you live in Springfield or

00:31:17.980 Dayton or wherever, and you say, hey, maybe we shouldn't replace the demographics of our town

00:31:25.220 with a ton of Haitians. Maybe we shouldn't import. I know you're not allowed to use the word replace. 1.00

00:31:31.060 The libs only like to use that word when they are speaking positively of their political strategies.

00:31:34.660 But if you criticize it in any way, they call it an awful conspiracy theory.

00:31:37.380 So I'll use the word import. Do they like that word? No, they don't like that. They don't even

00:31:42.300 want you talking about it. But they imported 20,000 Haitians into this small town. They've 0.99

00:31:48.660 imported over 300,000 Haitians into the country in a very short period of time as Haiti has become a 0.93

00:31:55.120 failed state. And these are relatively small towns. We're not talking about millions or even hundreds

00:32:01.180 of thousands of people. We're talking about 50, 60, 70,000 people in these towns. You import 20,000

00:32:05.600 Haitians. That's a lot of people. And if some Ohioans say, man, I really don't like that these 1.00

00:32:10.280 Haitian migrants are taking up all our money and our housing and crashing their cars into our 1.00

00:32:14.320 buildings and to our citizens. Well, you're a Nazi, according to Jamel Bowie. It's a really stupid 0.99

00:32:21.180 attack, deeply ignorant, and as I said, illiterate. Also because J.D. Vance doesn't exhibit any 1.00

00:32:31.100 characteristics of what you would call blood and soil nationalism. His wife is Indian,

00:32:35.700 for goodness sakes. What are you talking about blood and soil? What it shows you is that the left

00:32:41.040 doesn't understand really anything about the right. So there are two options for patriotism

00:32:48.220 in the left's mind. A kind of civic nationalism where America is just an idea, totally disconnected

00:32:53.520 from historical reality. And blood and soil, Nazism, where it's all just about the race and the purity 0.82

00:33:02.480 of the race, and that's all that nationalism's about. There are alternatives. One obvious alternative

00:33:08.220 would be what the political philosopher Joseph Demestra called throne and alter conservatism,

00:33:13.420 which is, Demestra identified the liberalism as triumphing in the French Revolution. This is

00:33:22.040 a similar kind of observation made by Edmund Burke, widely considered a father of modern conservatism,

00:33:29.300 made by a lot of people, which is that Demestra said, in considerations on France, he said,

00:33:37.160 speaking of the French Revolution, that the revolution, that liberalism was founded on the fires

00:33:43.600 that rage on the remains of thrones and altars. That was what it was about. The terms left and right

00:33:49.380 come from the French Revolution. In the National Assembly, the radicals, the revolutionaries, the atheists

00:33:55.860 sat on the left of the assembly, and the defenders of what was then the French monarchy and the church

00:34:02.580 in France, once known as the eldest daughter of the church, they sat on the right. So obviously, people attack

00:34:09.240 J.D. Vance for being a little too religious. People attack conservatives broadly for caring a little too much

00:34:15.760 about order and not totally upending the order and not, you know, not having social anarchy, which is

00:34:21.340 what the left is giving us. Okay, well, then attack it as a kind of traditionalist conservatism or

00:34:26.620 something, but to call him a Nazi, it's not only dangerous because it justifies killing these people, 1.00

00:34:31.320 but it's also just profoundly stupid. I mean, they don't, Trump, neither Trump nor J.D. Vance nor really 1.00

00:34:35.800 any major conservative politician exhibits any of these traits. So I mentioned the debate earlier that

00:34:43.500 these shootings seem to coincide with the days following debates. The pundit reaction on the

00:34:51.020 night of the second debate was that Kamala won very clearly. I went on Piers Morgan's show a day or two

00:34:56.200 later, and he said it was a clear victory for Kamala. And I said, look, I thought Kamala did

00:35:00.220 relatively well. Her predecessor basically died on stage, so she certainly did better than Joe Biden.

00:35:06.280 And Trump missed some opportunities, sure, but I don't think it was a total clear-cut victory.

00:35:10.460 The pundit class said, no, no, it was a total clear-cut victory. Trump really lost. Kamala

00:35:14.220 really won. Well, a poll that just came out of YouGov suggests that's maybe not the case. And

00:35:19.160 they asked two questions, not even about the debate, but about what happened after the debate.

00:35:23.820 You know, Taylor Swift endorsed right after the debate. And Republicans had been waiting for this

00:35:31.640 for a long time. Taylor Swift, the biggest pop star in the world, oh no, she's going to endorse

00:35:35.920 Kamala. She's being artificially promoted, some of them suggested, so that she can endorse Kamala, 0.93

00:35:40.580 and it's going to sway all these votes. Well, the numbers, the polling and survey numbers on what

00:35:46.980 the Taylor Swift endorsement means tell you a lot, not just about Swift and Kamala. They tell you a lot

00:35:52.880 about the relationship between Americans and the media, because the results will shock you. But first,

00:35:59.380 I'm going to tell you about Matt's movie, Am I Racist? It's the number four movie in the country.

00:36:02.880 It's got a 99% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes with over 1,000 reviews. Now we need to make week

00:36:08.800 two even bigger. I think this movie is drop-down hilarious. I think it is better than Matt's first

00:36:14.840 movie, What is a Woman? As just as a whole movie, I'm not saying, you know, this issue matters more

00:36:21.000 than the transgender issue. But as a coherent whole of a movie, I was gut-bustingly laughing the entire 0.99

00:36:27.780 time. The interviews that Matt scored are insane. Usually, with funny movies, they put all the best

00:36:33.840 stuff in the trailer. In this case, they didn't. They explicitly left the best stuff out of the

00:36:38.460 trailer. You have to see this movie. Go to amiracist.com right now for tickets and showtimes

00:36:43.980 near you. Tell your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers. Tell everyone. Keep filling up those

00:36:47.420 theaters. Thank you to everyone who joined us for opening weekend. Let's keep the momentum going. Go

00:36:51.260 to amiracist.com. My favorite comment on Friday is from Trail of a Trillion Tears, 1045, who says,

00:36:58.620 I don't understand what they expect Trump to do. The people of Ohio are crying out. Should no one

00:37:03.040 listen to them? Well, the answer from the liberal establishment is no, they should not listen. The

00:37:06.820 people of Ohio, the people of Pennsylvania, the people of Wisconsin, they're deplorable, 1.00

00:37:10.800 irredeemable, Bible-thumping, bitter-clinging idiots who are evil, and they're probably Nazis, 1.00

00:37:17.520 and they need to shut up because if they ever have their way at the ballot box, it will amount 1.00

00:37:22.920 to an insurrection and a coup d'etat and the end of our republic. That's what they believe. Get a

00:37:28.760 couple drinks in the beltway types of the liberal establishment. That is what you will hear.

00:37:35.020 And in fact, the libs are already setting the stage for another contested election,

00:37:39.460 which we'll get to in one second. First though, what do you think? I'm just going to ask you the

00:37:44.320 question asked in the survey. Taylor Swift recently endorsed Kamala Harris for president.

00:37:48.780 Do you think her endorsement will have a positive or negative effect on Harris's campaign?

00:37:53.880 Very positive, somewhat positive, neither. Somewhat negative, very negative, not sure.

00:37:57.120 What would you say? I don't want to speak for you. I don't want to presume to speak for you, 0.94

00:38:02.480 but I bet the vast majority of you listening right now would say, oh, it will have a positive or very

00:38:07.240 positive effect on the campaign. That's what I would say. She's the biggest pop star in the world. 0.94

00:38:11.380 People really like her. She became a billionaire after her Eras tour. 0.89

00:38:16.740 So yeah, it's going to have a very positive. And that's what people respond. 23% say it'll have

00:38:21.060 a very positive effect. 32% say it'll have a somewhat positive effect. 27% say neither positive

00:38:26.740 or negative. Only 2% say a somewhat negative effect. Only 5% say a very negative effect. And 11% say

00:38:33.440 they're not sure. So you've got 55% of people say it'll be somewhat positive or very positive.

00:38:41.800 Only 7% say it'll be negative. Very clear. And only 27% say neither. Okay. So clear consensus.

00:38:51.620 Taylor Swift's endorsement is really going to matter. And it's really going to make people

00:38:55.180 more likely to vote for Kamala. Then the next question on the survey was, does Taylor Swift's

00:38:59.880 endorsement of Kamala Harris make you more or less likely to vote for her? 5% say much more.

00:39:08.420 3% say somewhat more. So 8% total say more. 66% say no difference. 2% say somewhat less.

00:39:18.900 18% say much less. 5% not sure.

00:39:23.540 I'm going to put all those numbers together. 55% of people say this is going to have,

00:39:31.280 this Taylor Swift endorsement of Kamala is going to have a great positive effect on Kamala's campaign.

00:39:36.640 Only 7% say it'll have a negative effect. But when you say, okay, how does it affect your view of

00:39:41.220 Kamala? How does it affect your likelihood to vote for her? Only 8%. So it's like they flip,

00:39:47.160 the numbers flip. Only 8% say this will make me more likely to vote for Kamala. And a whopping 20%

00:39:55.440 say this will make me less likely to vote for Kamala. Those two questions show you the difference

00:40:01.420 between prediction and personal behavior. We have a sense that everybody

00:40:09.320 thinks and acts a certain way. And we all have that sense. But then when you ask people about

00:40:18.820 their personal behaviors, it's the opposite. So why is there such a chasm between our perception

00:40:25.120 of society and the way that we actually behave when you ask us about us personally? Because of media

00:40:32.440 propaganda. Because we don't talk to everybody in the country. We perceive things mediated by the

00:40:42.660 media. And the media lie to us. They give us a false perception of the country. In reality,

00:40:50.760 there is a major chasm between media perception and reality, both in the perception of it and in

00:40:57.260 our behavior. Because we don't, even though we perceive, we say, man, everyone in the country is

00:41:00.560 going to do a certain thing. And that's too bad. But I'm not, it's not, it's actually not working

00:41:04.380 on us. If the media propaganda were really, really good, both of those questions would agree.

00:41:10.960 They'd say, yeah, Taylor Swift is going to make me much more likely, is going to make other people

00:41:14.380 more likely to vote for Kamala. And it's going to make me more likely to vote for Kamala. But the

00:41:17.920 media propaganda isn't quite that good. People are saying, yeah, I don't really give a damn what

00:41:21.360 the media tells me to do. I'm not going to vote for Kamala. But I bet other dupes are going to vote 1.00

00:41:27.160 for Kamala. So it's, the media propaganda is good enough that we still think the media have a lot

00:41:33.240 of power. But it's no longer good enough to actually persuade us to do what it wants us to do.

00:41:40.980 It's a real subtle point that's in, that's in the tabs of this survey. But that to me is one of the

00:41:47.660 most interesting polls, most interesting surveys to come out of this election. And you can tell that

00:41:53.120 the media are getting very nervous about this. At least in the way that the media are presenting

00:41:57.340 this, they don't seem to be quite as confident as they once were. The New York Times is already

00:42:01.440 telling us, hey, guys, don't expect the results on election night. New York Times just came out

00:42:05.800 with this. Harris or Trump, once again, election results could take a while. More Americans are using

00:42:13.320 mail-in ballots, which take longer to count than those cast in person. In several battleground states,

00:42:17.740 a winner may not be apparent on November 5th. This is ridiculous stuff. And why? How do they 0.70

00:42:24.520 explain it? They say, if a winner is not declared on election night, it will not necessarily point to

00:42:29.320 failures in the process. Oh, no, no, no. Oh, no, don't, don't think that. No, no, no. More likely,

00:42:35.580 it will be the result of intense security measures required for counting mail-in ballots. It's actually,

00:42:42.020 no longer it takes to give this election to Kamala is the proof of how super-duper secure it is. 1.00

00:42:49.280 Election officials across the country are trying to telegraph to voters that waiting long hours or

00:42:53.580 even days for a result is not unexpected in a close situation. They are eager to counter conspiracy

00:43:00.840 theorists who may seize on the uncertainty as evidence of fraud or malfeasance. Okay,

00:43:06.980 why has it taken so long? Well, because, I'll tell you, what they're saying is the reason it'll

00:43:13.940 take so long is because not everyone's voting on computers. The people who vote in person are

00:43:19.720 largely voting on computers, but some people are sending in their mail-in ballots. And the mail-in

00:43:25.240 ballots, you see, you got to count them. They're paper ballots. So you got to count them, and that's

00:43:29.960 going to take a long time. Okay, well, how come, how come all the elections that we had just about

00:43:35.960 before computers for, like, the whole history of our country, how come we could finish those in a day

00:43:42.980 pretty much all the time? How come in 1960, when there was a contested election between Nixon and

00:43:47.860 Kennedy, and the Kennedys perhaps stole that election, how come we had an answer by the next

00:43:53.200 morning? But now we have fancy computers and, you know, all these ways to make the process more

00:43:59.540 efficient and takes us days and weeks. I was talking to a French friend of mine last night who

00:44:03.180 observed that in France, you know the election results the same day. Maybe it takes some extra

00:44:10.880 hours or something, but you know the results. Why here? And another friend of mine said, well,

00:44:16.700 France is a smaller country. Yeah, it's not that much smaller, and the states are supposed to conduct

00:44:20.920 the elections. So why can't the states, which are smaller than France, why can't the states just,

00:44:25.920 like, figure it out and get the numbers in on time? Because they don't want to. Because there

00:44:32.460 are states in this country that don't want the elections to be efficient. They want it to take

00:44:37.080 days and weeks. Because if the longer it takes, the less scrutiny there will be on the ballots,

00:44:45.420 the greater the likelihood that there will be some shenanigans, the greater opportunity for

00:44:50.720 shenanigans. The New York Times is telling us with a straight face, actually, the longer this drags on,

00:44:55.920 longer it takes, the more confident you can be in the results of the election. Has that ever been

00:45:01.380 true in any election anywhere? If this kind of stuff were coming out of Venezuela, if this same

00:45:08.340 article were not in the New York Times, but the Venezuela Times, the State Department would say

00:45:15.060 this is evidence of a totalitarian party stealing the election. This is evidence before the election

00:45:22.360 that they're going to steal the election. The State Department would impose sanctions on them

00:45:27.820 for this. But here, our lapdog media, which exists as nothing more than propagandists for the liberal

00:45:34.700 state, they come out and they tell you with a straight face, no, no, no, it's really good.

00:45:39.460 The fact that we changed the election rules and got rid of election integrity measures,

00:45:42.560 that shows you how much, it shows you how much integrity is in the election.

00:45:48.020 We'll see if Trump is alive by election day. There are a lot of people who would not like that to be

00:45:53.560 the case and who are getting real close to having that tragic circumstance come to pass.

00:46:24.200 Growing up, I never thought much about race. Never really seemed to matter that much. At least not 0.98

00:46:28.380 to me. Am I racist? I would really appreciate it if you love. I'm trying to learn. I'm on this

00:46:32.360 journey. I'm going to sort this out. I need to go deeper undercover.

00:46:37.420 They don't say I'm racist. Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.

00:46:42.480 Here's my certifications. What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness. 0.98

00:46:46.360 This is more for you than this for you. Is America inherently racist?

00:46:48.900 The word inherent is challenging there. I want to rename the George Washington Monument

00:46:52.400 to the George Floyd Monument. America is racist to its bones. 0.88

00:46:55.880 So inherently. Yeah, this country is a piece of... 0.99

00:46:58.440 White folks. Trash. White supremacy. White woman. White boy. 1.00

00:47:03.280 Is there a black person around here? What's a black person right here? Does he not exist?

00:47:06.660 Don't say I'm racist.

00:47:08.500 Hi, Robin. Hi. What's your name?

00:47:10.540 I'm Matt. I just had to ask who you are because you have to be careful.

00:47:13.640 Never be too careful.

00:47:14.480 They're going to say you're racist.

00:47:15.620 In theaters now. Rated PG-13.
