00:00:00.000 The Middle East is on fire. The Iranian regime might fall. The Longshoremen have shut down 36
00:00:04.500 U.S. ports and disrupted global shipping, and J.D. Vance destroyed Tim Walls with facts,
00:00:09.680 logic, and charisma. We'll get to it. Okay, we'll get to it. But before we get to it,
00:00:14.960 I want to make sure that a little teensy tiny story doesn't accidentally get swept under the
00:00:21.040 rug. The ineligible voter scandal in Arizona, maybe you've heard about it, probably you haven't,
00:00:29.880 unless you're watching this show, doubled yesterday. Now, this new data set, as they're
00:00:35.500 calling it, brings the total number of people impacted to 218,000 instead of the 98,000 we
00:00:42.180 first reported. These people were mistakenly marked as having provided documentary proof of citizenship,
00:00:48.240 and Arizona Voter Registration Database now has correctly flagged the impacted individuals.
00:00:54.620 Election officials say they will contact the affected Arizonans with information regarding
00:00:59.300 their status after the general election. That means for now, the Arizona Supreme Court's ruling
00:01:04.860 is going to stay that impacted voters, that includes all of them, will still be able to vote.
00:01:12.040 Oops. Oopsie-daisy. I'll translate that rather euphemistic language. The Democrat-run government of
00:01:23.200 Arizona was forced to admit yesterday, thanks to a public records request, that 218,000 people,
00:01:30.340 and counting, are on the voter rolls illegally. Just in Arizona, 218,000 voters, one in 20 voters,
00:01:39.960 in a state that Joe Biden won in 2020 by roughly 10,000 votes, are illegally registered.
00:01:46.300 The news media are reporting this as an accidental glitch in voter registrations. Oopsie-daisy.
00:01:56.220 But these hundreds of thousands of people in a crucial swing state that could decide the presidential
00:02:01.440 election 20 times over are illegally registered to vote. And the Arizona Supreme Court has ruled
00:02:08.160 that they get to vote anyway. The media are already admitting that this supposed glitch could affect
00:02:15.240 even more voters. And the craziest part, here's the craziest part of the whole thing.
00:02:19.700 They only legally need to provide proof of citizenship to vote in state and local elections.
00:02:27.580 These people specifically do not need to provide proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections.
00:02:35.860 Given the scope of the problem that we are told does not exist, why do you think that might be?
00:02:43.280 I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael Knowles Show.
00:02:45.240 The longshoremen go on strike. This could be the latest final big event to shake up the election. The head of the
00:03:13.440 longshoremen union is really making waves in part because he closed down 36 ports, in part because
00:03:20.520 he is one of the most colorful mobster looking characters that we've seen in politics in a long
00:03:25.740 time. Did you know that over 85% of grass-fed beef sold in U.S. grocery stores is imported?

00:04:03.460 J.D. Vance destroyed Kamala Harris' running mate, Tim Walz, with facts, with logic, with charisma.
00:04:13.740 It was an undisputed debate victory. It was on the points an undisputed debate victory.
00:04:20.640 And when I say undisputed, I mean the New York Times admits it, the Washington Post admits it.
00:04:25.420 CNN, in its after-debate analysis, admitted J.D. won.
00:04:29.320 I think there was a clear lack of preparation and execution here on Walz's part.
00:04:33.880 I think actually it's the opposite. I think he had too much preparation.
00:04:37.840 Maybe, yeah.
00:04:38.340 He had so many lines that he was clearly trying to say that he didn't listen. And when J.D. Vance
00:04:44.880 said one of the many, many things he really hit Kamala Harris on, not Tim Walz, but Kamala Harris,
00:04:51.640 he didn't respond because he clearly had things in his mind. I think the lack of interviews that he
00:04:57.220 has done with national media, with local media, it showed. He needed more reps.
00:05:03.640 Yeah, no, I agree. I mean, J.D. Vance is much more experienced at this.
00:05:10.380 Okay, hold on. So they're all admitting, the two CNN ladies and the one CNN guy, Jake Tapper,
00:05:15.900 they're all admitting J.D. Vance won. Clearly, Tim Walz lost. Then you hear at the very end,
00:05:22.480 Jake Tapper tries to make this excuse. He says, well, look, J.D. Vance is much more experienced at this.
00:05:26.300 Excuse me? Tim Walz served in Congress for six terms. Tim Walz is the sitting governor of a state.
00:05:35.580 Tim Walz is much older than J.D. Vance. He's been in politics much longer than J.D. Vance.
00:05:40.040 He's been in national politics much longer than J.D. Vance. J.D. Vance got elected to the Senate
00:05:43.820 like five minutes ago. J.D. Vance is not much more experienced at this than Tim Walz. Tim Walz is
00:05:49.640 much more experienced than J.D. J.D. is just better. J.D. is more talented. He's better educated
00:05:57.040 and more intelligent. He is more correct, most importantly. He's just better at it on every
00:06:04.140 point. When I say J.D. destroyed Tim Walz, I don't just mean issue for issue, question for question.
00:06:11.640 I mean, he destroyed Tim Walz on the very purpose of the debate and he destroyed the format of the
00:06:22.720 debate, which was rigged against J.D. Most clearly highlighted when J.D. called out the moderators,
00:06:29.260 he fact checked the moderators for attempting to fact check him.
00:06:34.220 Just to clarify for our viewers, Springfield, Ohio does have a large number of Haitian migrants
00:06:40.820 who have legal status, temporary protected status.
00:06:44.880 Well, Margaret, but thank you, Senator. We have so much to get to.
00:06:48.060 Margaret, I think it's important because we're going to turn out of the economy.
00:06:50.840 Thank you. Margaret, the rules were that you guys were going to fact check. And since you're fact
00:06:54.680 checking me, I think it's important to say what's actually going on. So there's an application
00:06:59.100 called the CBP One App, where you can go on as an illegal migrant, apply for asylum or apply for
00:07:05.280 parole and be granted legal status at the wave of a Kamala Harris open border wand. That is not a
00:07:13.400 person coming in, applying for a green card and waiting for 10 years. That is the facilitation of
00:07:18.240 illegal immigration, Margaret, by our own leadership. Thank you, Senator, for describing the legal process.
00:07:22.920 We have so much to get to, Senator. Those laws have been on the books since 1990.
00:07:28.100 Thank you, gentlemen. The CBP One App has not been on the books since 1990.
00:07:33.440 It's something that Kamala Harris created. And then they cut his microphone.
00:07:35.860 Gentlemen, the audience can't hear you because your mics are cut.
00:07:40.980 Masterful from J.D. I mean, this was the moment he, without question, won the debate.
00:07:45.780 Walls could never come back from this. The moderators could never come back from this
00:07:48.780 because J.D. comes out there. He gives an answer, which I didn't even play,
00:07:53.200 but he gives a good answer on immigration and the program by Kamala Harris to import hundreds of
00:07:59.320 thousands of people, millions of people, really, ultimately, into the country. And the moderator
00:08:05.100 then comes in. She goes, yeah, but actually, you know, super duper fact check, 25 pidocchios.
00:08:10.700 Actually, it's totally cool and vied. And J.D. won't take it. He says, well, hold on.
00:08:18.420 What you just said isn't quite true. And she's trying to cut him off and she's trying to talk
00:08:21.940 over him. And then he says calmly, but clearly, he says, the rules were that there wouldn't be any
00:08:27.180 fact checks. So since you're breaking the rules of the debate, I'm just going to explain to you
00:08:32.280 what you are not telling the viewers. And she shuts up because she realizes she's been called out
00:08:38.320 in a way that is clear and persuasive. J.D. was obviously in the right here. The moderators were
00:08:44.520 obviously violating the rules of the debate. They were trying to rig it for Tim Walls,
00:08:47.600 who at that point was already floundering. And it was going so poorly for both the moderators and
00:08:53.440 Tim Walls that they had to cut J.D.'s microphone because Walls tries to jump in. Now they're trying
00:08:58.100 to go three on one. And J.D. corrects Tim Walls. He says, no, actually, that law hasn't been on the
00:09:04.440 book since the 90s. And because he has such a crystal clear command of the facts,
00:09:09.840 then Walls starts going down again and they have to cut his microphone. Horrible look for the
00:09:15.780 network. Horrible look for J.D. for Tim Walls. Marvelous look for J.D. Vance. Those sweltering
00:09:22.700 summer nights that leave you tossing and turning, desperately kicking off the covers, don't have to

00:09:52.040 Then, J.D., and this I think was such a key, not only did he get that exchange right, but he
00:10:01.940 recovered. A lot of debaters would be rattled by that. It would shift the energy of the debate.
00:10:08.640 It would make a debater get angrier, get snarkier, be more on the defensive. That isn't what happened.
00:10:15.980 J.D. just, he won the exchange. He immediately reset. And he had some really, really marvelous
00:10:22.280 lines. Just positive explanations of where the Trump-Vance ticket stands. Pithy ways of explaining
00:10:34.200 why Americans will do better in a Trump-Vance administration.
00:10:39.540 They were wrong about the idea that if we made America less self-reliant,
00:10:43.800 less productive in our own nation, that it would somehow make us better off,
00:10:48.440 and they were wrong about it. And for the first time in a generation, Donald Trump had the wisdom
00:10:53.560 and the courage to say to that bipartisan consensus, we're not doing it anymore. We're
00:10:58.920 bringing American manufacturing back. We're unleashing American energy. We're going to make
00:11:03.280 more of our own stuff. And this isn't just an economic issue. And I've got three beautiful
00:11:07.240 little kids at home, seven, four, and two. And I love them very much, and I hope they're in bed right
00:11:11.120 now. But look, so many of the drugs, the pharmaceuticals that we put in the bodies of
00:11:15.440 our children are manufactured by nations that hate us. This has to stop. And we're not going to stop it
00:11:21.340 by listening to experts. We're going to stop it by listening to common sense wisdom, which is what
00:11:26.060 Donald Trump governed on.
00:11:27.040 An amazing flip. Walls was trying to hammer J.D. and say, you don't listen to the experts. You're a
00:11:33.540 big dummy. You guys are ignorant. Well, I listen to the science and the experts and the geniuses and
00:11:37.620 the experts. And J.D. comes out and he says, you know, the experts have been wrong about a lot.
00:11:41.560 And he doesn't even just hit the most obvious ways in which the experts have been wrong recently,
00:11:45.960 which would be, say, COVID. They were wrong about how COVID spreads. They were wrong about how to
00:11:50.480 cure COVID. They were wrong. They were wrong about the efficacy of the lockdowns, which people are
00:11:54.460 angry about. That was easy. That was low hanging fruit. J.D. went even deeper. He said, the experts told
00:12:00.060 us that if we offshored all of our American jobs, all of our manufacturing, that would somehow be good
00:12:05.280 for America, but it's been terrible. The experts have been wrong in a much deeper way than merely
00:12:11.420 that which we've seen over the past three or four years. And that's why we're going to get back to
00:12:15.740 common sense. This is an insight from many great political thinkers on the left and the right.
00:12:23.200 I'm thinking even in this case of the Italian communist philosopher, very influential, Antonio
00:12:28.780 Gramsci, who observed that if you want to have an effective political movement, you have to have the
00:12:34.380 common sense of the people. When you become detached from the common sense of the people,
00:12:38.780 your political movement's going to fail. And J.D. is honing in on that here. He says, look,
00:12:44.140 you might have all your genius experts, but they've been wrong. And Americans with even a modicum of
00:12:49.780 common sense were proven right. And that's what we're going to listen to. We're going to listen
00:12:53.340 to common sense. That is a positive message. Doesn't matter what Wall says. Doesn't matter what
00:12:58.580 the moderators say. J.D. is speaking directly to the American people here. That is the animating
00:13:04.580 thesis of the Trump campaign going back to 2016. He said it perfectly. There's so much more to say.
00:13:10.900 First, though, go to SupremeCoup.com slash Knowles. The radical libs are plotting a Supreme Court coup,
00:13:18.720 and they're not even trying to hide it anymore. These progressive ideologues want to eliminate the
00:13:23.040 conservative majority by packing it with their own handpicked justices. It's not court reform. It's a
00:13:28.340 blatant power grab to get the outcomes they want. If one party controls the House, Senate, and
00:13:32.540 presidency come January, they could restructure the Supreme Court overnight. With a simple majority
00:13:37.080 vote and a president's signature, their plan becomes reality. We've already seen this playbook,
00:13:41.540 made-up ethical attacks on judges, illegal protests at their homes, open threats from so-called
00:13:47.360 legislators. It is Venezuela-style court packing, and it would spell the end of judicial independence
00:13:54.240 and the rule of law as we know it. There's hope. First, Liberty is leading the charge to protect
00:13:59.940 the Supreme Court from this radical plan. They're fighting to preserve the legitimacy of the court
00:14:03.640 and the separation of powers that safeguards our freedoms. Do not let them Venezuela, your United
00:14:07.580 States. Go to SupremeCoup.com slash Knowles. That is Supreme C-O-U-P dot com slash Knowles.
00:14:15.480 That's a French word, so it's sometimes difficult to spell for people who speak English. But it's
00:14:20.600 SupremeCoup, C-O-U-P dot com slash Knowles, to learn how you can help stop the left's takeover of
00:14:27.840 the Supreme Court. The future of our country is in your hands. Check out SupremeCoup.com slash Knowles
00:14:32.600 today. The worst moment for Walls in the debate was when the moderator called him out for, of course,
00:14:40.100 one of the least consequential of Walls' lies. Walls lies about his military service. Walls lies
00:14:47.720 about his policies in office. Walls lies about all sorts of things. Now, the moderators knew in
00:14:54.040 order to save face and appear to have any credibility at all, they had to call him out on
00:14:58.180 some lie. So they called him out on a relatively inconsequential lie. Walls said that he happened to
00:15:04.340 be in East Asia during the Tiananmen Square protest against communism. And that wasn't true.
00:15:12.940 Local newspapers proved that he was actually in America for that. So this should have been a
00:15:16.480 relatively easy answer. Or at the very least, Walls should have been prepared for it. He totally
00:15:22.000 dissembled. You said you were in Hong Kong during the deadly Tiananmen Square protest in the spring of
00:15:27.780 1989. But Minnesota Public Radio and other media outlets are reporting that you actually didn't
00:15:34.020 travel to Asia until August of that year. Can you explain that discrepancy? Yeah, well,
00:15:41.080 and to the folks out there who didn't get at the top of this, look, I, uh, I grew up in small rural
00:15:45.340 Nebraska, a town of 400, town that you rode your bike with your buddies till the streetlights come on,
00:15:51.100 and I'm proud of that service. I joined the National Guard at 17, worked on family farms,
00:15:55.800 and then I used the GI Bill to become a teacher, passionate about it, a young teacher. I've tried
00:16:01.480 to do the best I can, but I've not been perfect, and I'm a knucklehead at times. Governor, just to
00:16:06.600 follow up on that, the question was, can you explain the discrepancy? All I said on this was,
00:16:12.480 is I got there that summer and misspoke on this. So I, I will just, that's what I've said.
00:16:17.440 So I was in Hong Kong and China during the democracy protests went in, and from that,
00:16:26.040 I learned a lot of what needed to be in, in governance. Thank you, Governor.
00:16:33.340 I'm a knucklehead sometimes, 100% fact check true. Hey, Governor, you obviously lied about this
00:16:41.080 really weird thing. Can you, why, why did you do that? Well, I just want to be very clear. I grew
00:16:47.140 up in Nebraska and rode my bicycle until the streetlights came on, and I'm very proud of that
00:16:52.360 service. I rode my street, the kind of town where you rode your street, your, your, your bicycles
00:16:59.620 till the streetlights came on, and I'm very proud of that service. That's a direct quote. What?
00:17:04.780 And then he rambles. I cut out like 90 seconds of his response. Cause I just don't have time to play
00:17:10.420 it on the show. Good on the moderator for coming back and saying, okay, but I think really she was
00:17:15.000 trying to help him out. Do you have an answer? Come on. You got any of that? I don't know. Maybe
00:17:21.740 there, there was no helping him out at that point. And he says, huh? I, I don't know. I, I misspoke.
00:17:27.800 Yeah. You misspoke. You said something that wasn't true because you were deceiving people. You lied is
00:17:34.620 what you did. That was the, I mean, you didn't even have an answer for it. Good grief, man.
00:17:39.380 Then the most, uh, absurd line of any debate that I've ever heard also came by way of Tim
00:17:46.320 Walls. I've become friends with school shooters. I've seen it. Look, the NRA, I was NRA guy for a
00:17:51.640 long time. They used to teach gun safety. I'm of an age where my shotgun was in my car so I could
00:17:56.780 pheasant hunt after football practice. Just as a general rule, this is a little advice to any would-be
00:18:01.700 candidates out there. You should never under any circumstances declare during a debate that you
00:18:09.060 are friends with school shooters. That, that, uh, usually does not play well. The final observation
00:18:16.120 I want to make on this, because this is where JD Vance is getting hit by some conservatives and
00:18:22.020 right-wingers. I think unfairly and I think unwisely. JD Vance was asked about abortion.
00:18:28.680 This is the, probably the weakest area for Republicans, not philosophically or ethically,
00:18:36.100 but electorally right now in October of the year of our Lord, 2024. And so they were going to hammer
00:18:42.960 Vance on abortion. And JD gave what is for a conservative Republican an uncharacteristically
00:18:51.620 subtle and nuanced answer. First of all, governor, I agree with you. Amber Thurman should still be
00:18:58.560 alive. And there are a lot of people who should still be alive. And I certainly wish that she was,
00:19:02.100 and maybe you're, you're free to disagree with me on this and explain this to me. But as I read
00:19:07.580 the Minnesota law that you signed into, into, into, into law, the statute that you signed into law,
00:19:12.320 it says that a doctor who presides over an abortion where the baby survives, the doctor is under no
00:19:18.320 obligation to provide life-saving care to a baby who survives a botched late-term abortion.
00:19:23.860 That is, I think, whether you're pro-choice or pro-abortion, that is fundamentally barbaric.
00:19:29.380 And that's why I use that word, Nora, is because some of what we've seen, do you want to force
00:19:33.760 Catholic hospitals to perform abortions against their will? Because Kamala Harris is supported
00:19:38.100 suing Catholic nuns to violate their freedom of conscience. We can be a big and diverse country
00:19:43.780 where we respect people's freedom of conscience and make the country more pro-baby and pro-family.
00:19:49.080 Fabulous. Fabulous answer here. He puts walls on his heels. He says, hey, you support late-term
00:19:56.600 abortion. But he's doing it, notice he's being soft, he's being subtle, he's being kind, he's
00:20:02.460 being empathetic. He says, correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe I've misinterpreted the law. But seems to me,
00:20:08.060 I, a graduate of Yale Law School and a United States senator, it seems to me, I'm reading the law here,
00:20:13.500 my job is to write laws and read laws. Seems to me, you signed a law to remove the requirement that
00:20:21.220 physicians provide medical care to babies born alive who survive abortions. That, you know,
00:20:29.920 Governor, that just strikes me as barbaric. Earlier in his answer, J.D.'s really getting hit for this,
00:20:36.200 he said, look, Republicans need to do a better job of winning people's trust on the abortion issue.
00:20:42.300 Republicans need to do a better job, essentially, of communicating on the abortion issue. I know people
00:20:46.900 who have had abortions, and I know how difficult this is. And I understand that this is a big and
00:20:53.780 diverse country, and California's going to have a different view on abortion than Ohio. And I
00:20:57.580 understand. When asked why he's softened his rhetoric, he gave, I think, a sincere answer,
00:21:02.240 certainly a persuasive answer. He says, because there have been ballot referenda that show you
00:21:05.660 that this is a difficult issue for a lot of people. He even, when he was asked about family
00:21:11.320 policy broadly, he said, look, we're the party that supports growing families. We support
00:21:17.780 mothers. We support fertility treatments. This is another issue. They wanted to hammer J.D. on a
00:21:25.900 very nuanced, specific issue like in vitro fertilization or something, as opposed to IUI or other,
00:21:32.100 you know, really getting in the weeds on all this. And J.D. speaks in this broad way without
00:21:37.700 violating his principles, without violating his integrity. He speaks in this broad way about the
00:21:42.800 broad policy, which is, yes, we want to be caring to people, and we want to have more babies, and we
00:21:48.440 want to grow American families. He's going to be hit by the rock-ribbed right wing, some rock-ribbed
00:21:55.760 right wing conservatives, not by me, but by some, for not pummeling walls on the abortion issue. I
00:22:01.680 felt he did a good job there of pushing him on the late-term abortion issue, but he's going to be
00:22:06.320 hit for not being belligerent enough on the pro-life cause. But we are called to be wise as serpents
00:22:13.200 and innocent as doves, okay? Doesn't do anybody any good. If this guy gets out there, guns a-blazing,
00:22:22.780 and spouts off a bioethically and philosophically precise diatribe about abortion and then loses the
00:22:30.700 election, doesn't do anybody any good. Maybe it makes people feel good in the moment, doesn't do
00:22:36.540 any good, doesn't save one baby. J.D. Vance here defended life. He even, I think, spoke in a way that
00:22:44.840 was bioethically unimpeachable on family policy more broadly, while still accomplishing his actual
00:22:53.340 purpose at the debate. This was not a didactic exercise. The purpose of this was not to give
00:22:58.740 some broad, precise treatise on bioethics and human dignity. The purpose of this debate was to win five
00:23:06.140 to seven percent of voters, specifically women voters, moderate women voters in swing states so
00:23:12.360 that he can win the election because the winners go to Washington and the losers go home. J.D. did that
00:23:17.620 absolutely perfectly. We should not make immoral compromises where we lie, as the Democrats sometimes
00:23:25.340 do, where we lie about our positions or where we concede important issues like abortion, important
00:23:32.600 issues like the defense of the family. We shouldn't lie to do that. But it's the difference between, as a
00:23:38.300 friend of mine pointed out once, a diplomat friend of mine, it's the difference between speaking as a
00:23:43.140 diplomat and speaking as a flatterer. A flatterer will lie to you to make you feel good. A diplomat will
00:23:48.340 focus on the areas of commonality and he will say true things, but he will focus on the true things
00:23:53.340 that you both can agree on. That was J.D.'s purpose last night. It was his purpose as we could see all the
00:23:59.240 way down to the color of his tie, which is a soft color, a little bit of a pink color. He did it
00:24:03.780 marvelously. He did his job. I don't think any Republican could ask more of his performance.
00:24:11.660 Now, folks, speaking of facing off, my friend Megan Bashman and I face off in the latest episode
00:24:19.120 of Face Off. This is poor sportsmanship, Michael. I'm just saying. St. Augustine Church first. It has to be
00:24:26.880 still a functioning church. It's still a functioning. Listen to this guy. Yeah. Founded on
00:24:31.440 September 8th, 1565. How do you like that? When shadowy figures like George Soros infiltrate and
00:24:38.100 attack evangelical churches, the appropriate response is to bash him. When fed liberals spy on
00:24:43.380 Latin mass Catholic churchgoers, we bash him. And when French degenerates mock the Last Supper,
00:24:48.360 we bash him. And someone who knows all about this is Megan Bashman, who's been bashing him for years.
00:24:53.300 Now, Michael Knowles and Megan both know all about Bashman lives, but who knows more
00:24:57.380 about religion? We'll find out. This is Face Off.
00:25:04.800 Do you get it? Her name is Bashman.
00:25:08.160 That is the rhetorical stylings of Mr. Davies. You can catch that on the Michael Knowles YouTube
00:25:12.740 channel right now. Moving on from the debate, a few other things going on in the world. You know how
00:25:20.440 Iran and Israel are at war right now. I guess they've kind of broadly been at war for a long
00:25:25.400 time, but things have really heated up. Iran launched a ton of missiles into Israel. It would
00:25:32.220 appear that there were no Israeli casualties. Oddly enough, it would appear that the only casualties
00:25:37.880 were a Palestinian and some Iranians when one of them blew up.
00:25:42.160 However, this does escalate the conflict in the Middle East.
00:25:50.000 I think that, look, this could be very bad for America if Americans are pulled. If the war
00:25:56.320 escalates, America will be pulled into the war because America's the global hegemon and Israel
00:26:00.140 only exists because America protects Israel. If the global hegemon ceased to protect Israel,
00:26:05.240 things would get dicey real quick. So there is no world in which this war escalates and gets a
00:26:10.720 little bit out of control and America is not more involved. That is simply what's going to happen.
00:26:17.060 However, what is strange about the incentives and disincentives here is it is good for Republicans
00:26:27.240 if the war in the Middle East is more in the news. Because, as I've said many times on the show,
00:26:34.480 Israel is just a bad issue for Democrats, especially the cycle because the base hates Israel and the
00:26:41.040 establishment donor class and the Americans broadly support Israel. So it's just a bad issue.
00:26:45.000 It's not that Democrats need to find the perfect thing to say about Israel. It's that the more
00:26:49.880 Israel is being discussed, the worse it is for Democrats. This, I think, was J.D. Vance's insight
00:26:54.600 on the debate. The reason I think he spoke in a soft and subtle and nuanced way about abortion is
00:27:00.460 he understood rightly that right now in the month of October, in the year of our Lord, 2024,
00:27:05.960 the more abortion is discussed in the election, the worse it is for Republicans, no matter what
00:27:11.680 it really is said. So what is going to happen now in the Middle East? We will see. One good thing about
00:27:18.060 having an effectively incapacitated president right now is that Benjamin Netanyahu is more or less
00:27:24.880 going it alone. And no matter what you think about Bibi Netanyahu, you might think he's the
00:27:29.580 greatest leader in the world. You might think he's a killer, terrible, awful person. I think you got to
00:27:34.040 give the guy credit. He is extremely competent. He's extremely good at being the prime minister of
00:27:40.320 Israel. And with an absence of American leadership, he's just gone in. He took out Hamas. He took out
00:27:45.940 Hezbollah. He has really crippled the Iranians. He's protected his country. He's done a rather good
00:27:53.660 job at it. So much so that the Iranian regime doesn't have very many more cards to play.
00:28:00.220 And this gets to another little strange rhyme of history, which is that yesterday was not only this
00:28:06.360 Iranian attack on Israel, it was the 100th birthday of Jimmy Carter.
00:28:12.380 Jimmy Carter was president when the Iranian revolution happened. In fact, he allowed and
00:28:20.020 maybe even encouraged the Iranian revolution to happen. So this was when, just before Carter leaves
00:28:26.820 office, these malas, these Islamic fanatics in Iran deposed the Shah of Iran, the former monarch of
00:28:34.800 Iran, who had been a good American ally. Shows you a weird coincidence of history. Jimmy Carter
00:28:41.020 might live long enough to see the return of the Shah in the form of the son of the man that Carter
00:28:49.560 allowed to be deposed. That is how old Carter is. That is how persistent conflicts in history are.
00:28:57.780 It would be pretty funny. And the Shah, for his part, or the would-be Shah, Reza Pahlavi,
00:29:03.460 did send out a tweet saying, the time is now, time for regime change, calling on the military
00:29:07.880 not to fight for the Iranian regime. He says, this is not a patriotic national war. Basically,
00:29:14.740 wait for me. If you guys depose the malas, I'm coming back and it'll be great for everybody.
00:29:19.660 So, you know, a lot of people keep saying, this is it. Nothing's going to change anymore in the
00:29:26.240 election. This is all the first assassination attempt. That was the last thing that's going to
00:29:30.460 change in the election. Oh, the swapping out of the candidates. Oh, well, the debate, rather. That's
00:29:35.940 the last thing. Oh, the swapping out of the Democrat nominee. That's the last thing. Oh, the second
00:29:39.800 assassination. That's the last thing. I don't know. There have been a lot of last things that could
00:29:42.680 change in this election. This is an extraordinarily dynamic election. We are now at, what, the second
00:29:49.040 day of October. This is, we haven't even gotten to all of our October surprises yet. This is a live
00:29:55.640 situation. However, whatever happens in the Middle East, almost certainly it will redound to the
00:30:01.540 disadvantage of Democrats. Just, if you want to understand this whole extremely complex situation
00:30:08.060 vis-a-vis American politics, just ask yourself, was the Middle East more peaceful or less peaceful
00:30:15.620 under Trump? Was the world more peaceful or less peaceful under Trump? Under Trump, we had peace.
00:30:26.220 That's it. Under Obama, we didn't have peace. Under George W. Bush, we didn't have peace. Certainly
00:30:30.960 under Joe Biden, we didn't have peace. Under Trump, uniquely in this century, in this millennium,
00:30:38.720 we had peace. You want to go back to that? I'd like to go back to that.
00:30:43.680 Meanwhile, what's Kamala saying? Kamala comes out and articulates her unwavering support for Israel.
00:30:50.800 I condemn this attack unequivocally. I'm clear-eyed. Iran is a destabilizing,
00:30:58.700 dangerous force in the Middle East, and today's attack on Israel only further demonstrates that
00:31:04.820 fact. Earlier today, I was in the Situation Room with President Biden and our national security team
00:31:11.260 as we monitored the attack in real time and ensured that the protection of U.S. personnel in the region
00:31:18.180 is paramount. I fully support President Biden's order for the U.S. military to shoot down Iranian
00:31:24.580 missiles targeting Israel, just as we did in April. We are still assessing the impact, but initial
00:31:32.240 indications are that Israel, with our assistance, was able to defeat this attack. Our joint defenses
00:31:39.120 have been effective, and this operation and successful cooperation saved many innocent lives.
00:31:47.780 As I have said, I will always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself against Iran and Iran-backed
00:31:54.520 terrorist militias. My commitment to the security of Israel is unwavering.
00:32:00.600 Is the pro-Palestine movement going to vote for this lady? My support to Benjamin Netanyahu's
00:32:09.780 government? The man, hold on, the pro-Palestine movement has been saying for months now that Bibi
00:32:14.820 Netanyahu and the state of Israel have been slaughtering tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians,
00:32:22.140 is slaughtering them senselessly. And now your standard bearer, Kamala Harris, says she's giving
00:32:29.500 her unwavering support to that man's administration, to that man's regime?
00:32:37.900 Yeah, I guess they're a bunch of fakes. All those little kids with the keffias on the campuses,
00:32:43.980 I guess they're a bunch of fakes because you're going to vote for this woman who gives her unwavering,
00:32:51.360 you're really going to do that? That's what I want to hear from the Republicans, secretly,
00:32:58.500 you know, on the left-wing networks, not in the right-wing spaces, but on the far left spaces.
00:33:03.480 That's what I want to hear for the next month and a half. I want the Democrats to be hoisted with
00:33:10.140 their own petard. This is a bad issue for Democrats. And so whatever they do, if the supposedly pro-Palestine
00:33:19.000 people, and it's not just the keffia-wearing kids on campus, it's Hollywood, it's rather elite people.
00:33:25.280 Either they are complete hypocrites, they have to admit that they never gave a damn about a single
00:33:33.340 Palestinian. They don't care. It's all performance theater because they're going to go support the
00:33:37.040 woman who gives her unwavering support to Bibi Netanyahu. Or they can't vote for Kamala.
00:33:42.440 I want those clips to be played. They don't need to be played in the mainstream spaces. But those
00:33:50.660 kind of clips need to be played on college campuses. Those kind of clips need to be played
00:33:55.940 in Michigan with a significant Muslim population. Because the response is going to be, well,
00:34:02.700 Donald Trump is even more pro-Israel. Hey, say what you will about Donald Trump and his perspective
00:34:07.300 on alliances in the Middle East? Gaza existed when Trump was president, okay? So you're going to tell
00:34:12.760 me you're this keffia-wearing, pro-Palestine, I want to cease fire, let the civilians live kind of
00:34:20.040 protester? Did the Gazans do better under Trump or under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris? And will Gazans
00:34:26.560 and Palestinians do better under a second Trump administration or under a Harris-Walls administration?
00:34:31.860 You know the answer. You know the answer. You just heard her say it. I give Bibi Netanyahu my full
00:34:39.360 support, the same kind of support we're giving him right now that has redounded to the Middle East
00:34:45.240 being lit on fire. Yes, Trump is more pro-Israel. Trump is more in favor of the traditional American
00:34:54.080 alliance in the Middle East. But you know what? The Palestinians did a lot better under Trump too.
00:34:58.700 Well, go play that in Michigan. Now, there are even more national crises occurring on the Biden-Harris
00:35:07.220 watch, including the closure of 36 and counting U.S. ports. We'll get to that in just one second.

00:35:45.840 My favorite comment yesterday comes from Uteam, who says, quote,
00:35:50.740 Broad-mindedness, when it means indifference to right or wrong, eventually ends in a hatred for
00:35:55.400 what is right. Bishop Fulton Sheen, such a good point. Good thing to keep in mind. Stand in the
00:36:01.760 middle of the road, you're going to get hit by a truck. There's really no such thing as neutrality
00:36:05.480 on the big questions. So we turn to another national crisis that's cropped up, a really international
00:36:10.880 crisis, I guess, on Joe Biden and Kamala Harris's watch. This is the Longshoremen strike. This is
00:36:16.940 the first Longshoremen strike in 47 years, almost half a century, of course, taking place on their
00:36:23.560 watch. The head of that union, Harold Daggett, has gone viral over the past 24 hours for some
00:36:32.340 statements he's made about this strike, about the impact that this strike will have, which he knows
00:36:38.500 it will have, and also just for his demeanor and personality. The Longshoremen have had a long
00:36:46.700 standing alleged association with a certain Italian-American subculture. Someone would call
00:36:53.840 it the mafia, gangsters, goes back down the waterfront, okay? So if you want to understand
00:37:01.860 the personality of the head of the Longshoremen union, I would say just imagine the love child
00:37:07.740 of Archie Bunker and Tony Soprano.
00:37:10.580 These people today don't know what a strike is.
00:37:12.920 Right.
00:37:14.720 When my men hit the streets from Maine to Texas, every single port will lock down. You know what's
00:37:22.220 going to happen? I'll tell you. First week, be all over the news every night, boom, boom. Second week,
00:37:31.620 guys who sell cars can't sell cars because the cars ain't coming in off the ships.
00:37:35.620 They get laid off. Third week, malls start closing down. They can't get the goods from
00:37:43.360 China. They can't sell clothes. They can't do this. Everything in the United States comes
00:37:48.720 on a ship. They go out of business. Construction workers get laid off because the materials
00:37:55.180 aren't coming in. The steel's not coming in. The lumber's not coming in. They lose their job.
00:38:01.680 Everybody's hating the Longshoremen now because now they realize how important our jobs are.
00:38:09.140 You're better off sitting down and let's get a contract and let's move on with this world.
00:38:14.040 And for today's world, I'll cripple you. I will cripple you. And you have no idea what that means.
00:38:21.100 Nobody does.
00:38:21.740 I'll cripple you. I want you going to try to undermine the union. I want your family dead.
00:38:28.940 I want your house burned to the ground. This guy, he's a tough guy. He is a mobster,
00:38:36.460 allegedly. He is allegedly a mobster. And when he's been brought up on mobster charges,
00:38:43.000 a co-defendant, one co-defendant in particular, was found rotting in the trunk of a car.
00:38:47.760 Okay. These are hardcore guys. This guy is not messing around. Okay. Now the federal government
00:38:53.220 could use the Taft-Hartley to force these guys to go back to work for a cooling off period.
00:39:01.560 And they could do that. And the cooling off period would last several months, just about.
00:39:06.080 But he's prepared for this. This guy has, as he stated here, has gamed out how this all works.
00:39:12.640 And so what's the effect of this going to be?
00:39:14.320 Well, the effect of it is going to be, if this strike goes on long enough,
00:39:20.200 and I'm not even talking about two, I'm talking about three weeks. If this strike goes on three
00:39:23.120 weeks, you're going to have trouble getting your Christmas presents in time. Okay. For every one
00:39:27.300 day this goes on, it's going to take four to five days perhaps to recover. This is a little side
00:39:31.640 point too. If you want to get Mayflower cigars, if you want to get these delicious Mayflower cigars
00:39:37.960 or Mayflower cigar products, you have to order them right now at mayflowercigars.com. You have
00:39:43.720 to be 21 years old or older to order. Some exclusions apply. I say this because we use these ports.
00:39:49.640 We're shipping from Nicaragua. So these are the ports we use. They are closed. The supply we have
00:39:55.840 in America is the supply we've got. If this strike goes on for a long time, you're not going to get
00:39:59.480 your cigars. So I would just strongly recommend, this is just a little bit of a word to the wise.
00:40:06.760 We certainly are going to sell out of this supply, but if you want it now for Thanksgiving,
00:40:09.880 for Christmas, whatever, order it now because that mobster means business.
00:40:15.480 Broadly for the US economy, this is going to cause a lot of problems. These supply chains
00:40:18.880 are relatively fragile things. I mean, think about the shipment of meat, just to use one example.
00:40:24.640 All of the waste that's going to occur because there are not places to store these kinds of
00:40:30.020 materials, some of which go bad. This is really, really tough for the American economy, and it's
00:40:36.300 really, really tough for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Now, Ben Shapiro suggested on the show last
00:40:42.760 night, maybe this is all a setup. Maybe this is a way to give Biden and Harris a win, that Harris
00:40:49.200 comes out and negotiates a deal, and it was all just a setup. We know that this guy,
00:40:53.500 the longshoremen are broadly supportive of the Democrats. Maybe that's what it is. Maybe,
00:40:59.980 could be, I'm not putting it past him, or maybe this guy's just a mobster who sees some weak points
00:41:05.140 and wants to get more money for himself. He's loaded, and also downstream some more money for
00:41:10.920 his workers, which is of secondary concern usually to union leaders. But in any case, maybe he just
00:41:16.300 sees a weak point. Maybe this is his opportunity to pounce. Maybe the head of the longshoremen union
00:41:21.120 is seeing exactly the same thing that America's enemies abroad are seeing, which is that America
00:41:26.580 is weak right now, and America is weak because of our weak and clueless leadership at the White
00:41:33.280 House. Maybe what this really is, one, if people take the right lessons from this, it could really
00:41:39.320 help Trump advance. But two, maybe this is a harbinger of things to come. If you elect this woman
00:41:43.840 to another term, maybe two terms, who knows, in the White House, you're going to get a lot more of
00:41:51.020 this. It's not just going to be a war pops off in the Middle East. It's going to be your economy
00:41:54.740 crumbles. It's going to be your national security is imperiled. It's going to be your border doesn't
00:41:59.340 exist. It's going to be that tough guys take advantage of Americans. Now, speaking of workers,
00:42:09.240 you remember, there was a story I mentioned on the show, I think a couple days ago, that eight
00:42:16.200 foreigners looted in properties that were flooded by Hurricane Irene. So, you know, this hurricane
00:42:27.880 devastates North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee, Florida, parts of the Southeast. And there were eight
00:42:33.880 migrant workers who were, or not Irene, Hurricane Helene, who were accused of looting. Initially,
00:42:44.600 some reports said these guys were illegal aliens. They're not illegal aliens. There's an update to
00:42:50.280 the story here. It's eight migrant workers. Now, I have one question for you, and it's going to help,
00:42:59.960 I hope, to make sense of the migration issue. Does it make you feel better that the foreigners who
00:43:07.740 looted victims of a once-in-a-century natural disaster were here legally? They were here on
00:43:16.980 legal worker programs. Does that make you feel better about what happened? Would it be worse if
00:43:22.400 they had crossed the Rio Grande illegally? I don't think so. The Republican line on mass migration for
00:43:30.140 the past 60 years has been that illegal immigration is bad, but legal immigration is good. We want much
00:43:38.980 less illegal immigration. We want much more legal immigration. I don't know. I think the problem is
00:43:45.240 the looting. I don't know. I think the problem, more broadly, is the lack of assimilation. I think
00:43:51.480 the problem is the effect on the American worker. I think the problem is the effect on housing prices.
00:43:59.080 I think the problem is the cultural fracturing that comes about when you inject huge numbers of
00:44:05.360 foreigners into a country that is already fraying and already cracking along fault lines.
00:44:10.820 That's what I think the problem is. It reminds me of the Norm Macdonald joke. He was joking with
00:44:17.300 Jerry Seinfeld. He said, people tell me that the worst thing about Bill Cosby and his accusations,
00:44:25.500 that he raped all these women, they say the worst part is the hypocrisy. But I don't think the worst
00:44:29.680 part is the hypocrisy. I think the worst part is the raping. It's a really funny joke. It's incisive.
00:44:36.660 It shows you how wrongly people can perceive things. I think that's the same thing here.
00:44:42.240 I think, yes, breaking the laws of the country, that is bad. Hypocrisy is a bad thing too.
00:44:48.360 But really, the problem with mass migration, with bringing tens of millions of people into a country
00:44:53.080 and not assimilating them, it's the mass migration is the problem. That's the problem.
00:44:58.540 No, if you have been just been devastated, your whole livelihood has been literally washed away by the
00:45:03.920 rain. I don't think you're going to feel better that the guy who is further victimizing you is here
00:45:08.720 on a temporary worker program thanks to the Biden-Harris administration. I think the fact
00:45:15.640 that he's victimizing you, the fact that our country has been flooded cynically by Democrats who want to
00:45:24.520 give away America's sovereignty, that's the problem. The explicit Kamala Wall's desired policy,
00:45:35.540 regardless of the legal technicalities, that's the problem. Today is Woke Wednesday. The rest of
00:45:41.280 the show continues. Now, you do not want to miss it. Become a member. Use code NOLS,

00:45:54.520 Republicans are Nazis. You cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people. Growing
00:46:04.320 up, I never thought much about race. It never really seemed to matter that much, at least not
00:46:08.180 to me. Am I racist? I would really appreciate it if you love. I'm trying to learn. I'm on this
00:46:12.140 journey. I'm going to sort this out. I need to go deeper undercover. Joining us now is Matt,
00:46:19.980 certified DEI expert. Here's my certification. What you're doing is you're stretching out of
00:46:25.400 your whiteness. This is more for you than this for you. Is America inherently racist? The word
00:46:29.180 inherent is challenging there. I want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George
00:46:32.880 Floyd Monument. America is racist to its bones. So inherently. Yeah, this country is a piece of
00:46:37.820 white folks. White supremacy. White woman. White boy. Is there a black person around? What's a
00:46:44.640 black person right here? Does he not exist? Hi, Robin. Hi. What's your name?
00:46:49.980 I'm Matt. I just had to ask who you are because you have to be careful. Never be too careful.
00:46:54.320 They gon' say you racist. In theaters now. Rated PG-13.
