00:03:32.320 So you have a 1 in 30 chance if you are an American high schooler today.

00:03:48.080 So it brings the total to 5.5%, which means that if you send your kid to high school in America,

00:04:08.780 Now, what do we know about students who identify as transgender or who are questioning their gender?

00:04:18.320 We know that they try to kill themselves at extraordinarily high numbers.

00:04:23.160 Roughly 70% of trans identifying or gender questioning students report feeling persistent sadness or despair, despair, hopelessness for a period of more than two weeks in the past year. 0.99

00:04:46.420 But even just regular normal teenage girls, that half of them report persistent sadness.

00:04:52.500 When you get to boys, regular normal boys who know they're boys, it's about a quarter.
