Bill Clinton accidentally torches Kamala Harris on the campaign trail. One in five Zoomers don t hate Hitler. And if that weren t enough, Christopher Columbus might have been a Jew. Who was Christopher Columbus, and what does that mean for us?
00:04:58.460That was the clip that was going viral.
00:04:59.880But okay, here's the broader context, which I think old Bubba thought was good for the Democrats, but I think actually makes the Democrats look even worse.
00:05:09.940But if they're all properly vetted, and that doesn't happen, and America is not having enough babies to keep our populations up, so we need immigrants that have been vetted to do work, there wouldn't be a problem.
00:05:27.340Okay, so he's saying, look, had they been properly vetted, then these immigrants probably wouldn't have killed people.
00:05:34.340But we need the immigrants, and we need the immigrants because Americans aren't having babies.
00:05:39.940So because we aren't having babies, we need to fill up that population that we're not producing ourselves with foreigners in order to keep our GDP up and keep our economy afloat.
00:05:50.060Okay, so in other words, what Bill Clinton is saying is that Democrat policies are directly responsible for the immigration crisis because the Democrat policies, notably under Kamala Harris, have opened up the border and let all sorts of unvetted migrants in who are brought across the border by criminal cartels, which control the whole border.
00:06:09.920So that's the immediate cause of the migrant crisis, but Democrat policies are also indirectly, more distantly responsible for the migrant crisis because the Democrat policies are a major driver of why we don't have babies in this country.
00:06:48.700The Libs pushing for contraception everywhere.
00:06:51.020Two Supreme Court cases to create a constitutional right to condoms.
00:06:54.340Those, which, as far as I can tell, I'm no constitutional lawyer.
00:06:59.800I didn't read the right to condoms in the Constitution, but they were, those licenses were granted successively.
00:07:06.340First, in a case that granted married couples the ability to use condoms nationally.
00:07:12.160And then in a second case that said, actually, we found more magic ink, more invisible ink in the Constitution, and there's a right for unmarried couples to use condoms nationally too.
00:07:21.900So, okay, whether you like contraception or you don't like contraception is certainly the case that contraception contracieves.
00:07:27.120So, that's one reason you don't have quite as many babies.
00:07:30.200Another one would be the redefinition of marriage.
00:07:33.800If you redefine marriage away from what it has always been, which is a union between a man and a woman for the purpose of the education, well, primarily the begetting and then the education of children,
00:07:43.340to, you know, two dudes living in an apartment in Chelsea in Manhattan, that's going to be less conducive to having babies.
00:07:52.360Then you add on top of that the weakening of religion and the march of secularism that is encouraged by the libs in our schools, in our workplaces, in our public square, throughout the country.
00:08:02.600You're far less likely to hear, be fruitful and multiply.
00:08:07.880Then you add on to that an anthropology which says that our lives are basically just about ourselves.
00:08:56.680Maybe he'll do better than these guys on the campaign trail.
00:08:58.940But Barack Obama comes out, and his strategy to defend Kamala is just to attack Trump.
00:09:06.580But it's hard to attack Trump because Trump had a much more successful presidency than either the Biden-Harris administration or the Obama-Biden administration.
00:10:55.540He entered office during an economic crisis.
00:10:59.360However, he also had the worst recovery in modern American history from any economic crisis.
00:11:05.900Since 1960, the U.S., these are all numbers from the Heritage Foundation, by the way.
00:11:10.800Since 1960, America's had six other recessions on top of the recession that preceded Obama entering office.
00:11:18.360Twenty-three quarters into Barack Obama's administration, his recovery was the weakest of all seven recoveries, going back, at that time, 50 years.
00:11:33.020All of those other post-1960 recoveries had produced an average GDP growth of just over 25 percent, cumulative GDP growth.
00:11:45.080The Obama recovery achieved about half of that.
00:11:48.580This is just like Kamala Harris stealing President Trump's border plan and his tax plan, his tax on tips plan.
00:11:56.260So Obama there is attacking Trump for the tax cuts.
00:11:59.480He must have missed the memo that Kamala Harris has now stolen one of Trump's tax plans, the no tax on tips plan.
00:19:02.640Meanwhile, Kamala's record and her old comments are coming back to bite her.
00:19:06.640Not just the nonsensical things she's saying during this campaign, but the nonsensical and alternately radical things she said back in 2021 or 2020 or 2019.
00:19:19.760Yesterday was Columbus Day, one of my favorite holidays of the year.
00:19:23.960And this statement came back to haunt Kamala yesterday.
00:19:27.440Back in 2021, Kamala Harris had this to say about the brave Italian explorer who discovered for Christendom the Western Hemisphere and established the conditions for the founding of our very nation.
00:19:41.320It is an honor, of course, to be with you this week as we celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day, as we speak truth about our nation's history.
00:19:51.840Since 1934, every October, the United States has recognized the voyage of the European explorers who first landed on the shores of the Americas.
00:20:05.440But that is not the whole story that has never been the whole story.
00:20:13.280Those explorers ushered in a wave of devastation for tribal nations, perpetrating violence, stealing land and spreading disease.
00:20:24.660We must not shy away from this shameful past, and we must shed light on it and do everything we can to address the impact of the past on Native communities today.
00:20:41.000Okay, before we get, there's so much nonsense in there, but the part that sticks out the most to me is that she blames our forebears, our ancestors, the people who settled the West, the Western Hemisphere, and gave us our country.
00:26:25.420No, you've got to fill that debunked arena with some other kind of facts.
00:26:30.460And so, Kamala believes that she's being really sophisticated and serious and mature by describing every terrible thing that has ever occurred within our civilization.
00:26:43.960Some of which didn't even really occur.
00:26:48.220But why is it more mature to view our own civilization as evil and all the other civilizations as good?
00:26:57.240Why is that more mature than the opposite view?
00:27:00.740Viewing our civilization as perfectly good and all the other civilizations as terribly evil.
00:27:05.940Would Kamala Harris be willing to admit, have the courage to take a serious look at history,
00:27:11.200to admit that the empires that fell as a result of Western exploration of the Americas were evil, wicked empires that would commit human sacrifice,
00:27:21.840that would eat infants, little babies, that would worship demons, that did all sorts of terrible, ghastly things?
00:28:35.300I think Christianity is better than demon worship.
00:28:37.780I think civilization is better than savagery.
00:28:41.320And ironically, Kamala Harris pretends to care about the indigenous peoples and expresses her disdain for civilized peoples in what was once called Christendom in Western civilization.
00:28:55.900I care very much about both the civilized peoples and the savage peoples who were living in the Americas before the advent of civilization.
00:29:03.780I care very much about all these people because I have come to conclusions about the world that I'm willing to acknowledge.
00:29:20.240The incarnation is the most important event in the history of the world.
00:29:22.780Salvation is available to all mankind.
00:29:24.260There is an actual spiritual equality among all peoples, even on different continents, even different colors, even with different kinds of clothing.
00:29:32.420I actually, I want to bring the goods of civilization and ultimately the goods of salvation to all the peoples of the world.
00:29:44.300No matter what color they are, no matter how they look, no matter how they dress, I think that's a good thing.
00:29:50.260It would seem that you would have to have a real contempt for people to say, no, let them keep butchering their children.
00:29:56.040No, no, let them keep worshiping demons and living in squalor.
00:31:05.780He only pretended to be Italian because he was born in Spain.
00:31:10.220But he had to hide the fact that he was born in Spain because Christopher Columbus was a Jew.
00:31:17.800Now, it's worth pointing out, there's really no scientific evidence for this yet.
00:31:23.420Because as Antonio Alonso, a geneticist who is the former head of the National Institute of Toxicology and Forensic Sciences, as he points out, this documentary has not actually presented any scientific study.
00:31:37.160So in Alonso's words, unfortunately, from the scientific point of view, no assessment can be made after watching the documentary since it does not provide any data on what has been analyzed.
00:31:45.480My conclusion is that the documentary does not show the DNA of Columbus at any given moment, and scientists do not know what analysis has been undertaken.
00:31:55.040Now, on top of that, if Columbus was part Jewish, that still would not prove that he was born in Spain rather than in Genoa, as has been commonly understood since the earliest days of Columbus's travels.
00:32:10.200That all said, though, it's an interesting theory.
00:32:41.580And the Spanish Inquisition was the culmination of what's called the Reconquista.
00:32:46.520So the Muslims had invaded Spain early on.
00:32:48.880They tried to conquer Europe on multiple occasions and failed, but they did succeed at conquering Spain.
00:32:54.060And happily, eventually, the Catholic Spanish were able to gain enough power that they were able to boot the Muslims back out and send them back and back to their homeland.
00:33:01.640So at this point, they had this challenge, which was they said, okay, if you convert to Catholicism, well, it was just called Christianity in those days because it was before the Protestant Revolution.
00:33:14.380If you convert to Christianity, you can stay.
00:33:18.520If you're Muslim, you still have some issues, but we'd like you to convert to Christianity.
00:33:21.680But if you're an other kind of non-Christian, if you're a Jew in particular, you can stay.
00:33:26.000However, if you're not, then you got to go.
00:33:29.700So whatever you think about the expulsion of non-Christians from Spain, which in the context of the 15th century must at least seem somewhat defensible, seeing as the Christians had finally reconquered this land from the invading Muslims who had dominated this part of Europe for centuries.
00:33:51.280But even if you say the expulsions were a terrible thing, the Spanish Inquisition was never an institution that sought explicitly to persecute Jews or Muslims.
00:34:05.920The purpose of the Spanish Inquisition was to defend the integrity of the faith.
00:34:10.820It only concerned people who had converted to Christianity, some of whom had only fake converted to Christianity, but I guess it continued to practice.
00:34:22.780So this raises the question pertinent to Columbus here, which is the question of the conversos.
00:34:27.060The conversos were Jews who had, around the time of Columbus or even much earlier, converted to Christianity.
00:34:35.420Now there's another group, what is it, the Maranos, I think, who were Jews who had said they converted to Christianity, but secretly were not Christian and were still Jewish.
00:34:44.580But that first group, the conversos, were people who were ethnically Jews, just like the apostles, just like many, many early Christians, and had converted to Christianity.
00:34:55.340The people behind this documentary seem really confused about that fact.
00:34:59.040Because they don't see how a Jew could be a Catholic.
00:35:02.460They don't see how someone who's a converso in this time in Spain could be a Catholic.
00:35:05.720Some of the most prominent saints that we think of today were conversos, were ethnic Jews who came from the lineage of people who had converted in Spain.
00:35:25.660Obviously, the apostles were ethnic Jews.
00:35:28.300There's no actual study yet, but the one thing that we can know for certain is not true about this story, is that Christopher Columbus secretly practiced the religion of Judaism.
00:35:42.200Because Christopher Columbus, according to every account we have of him, was a devout Catholic who regularly said all the prayers, who undertook the voyage for the spread of the gospel,
00:35:52.980who wanted to fund another crusade to the Holy Land to reclaim the Holy Land for Christians, who was one of the most devout men of his era.
00:36:05.840And so the fact that these documentarians and the people reporting on Columbus would make that kind of basic error of religion in the history of the church makes me question the whole story.
00:36:18.100For now at least, whether he's Jewish or not, at least on the question, ethnically Jewish or not, at least on the question of was he Spanish or Italian?
00:36:26.580Christopher Columbus was a brave Italian explorer, and in this house he's a hero.
00:36:32.200Now, the moment you've been waiting for is almost here.
00:36:33.920On October 28th, Matt Walsh's hit comedy, Am I Racist, is coming to Daily Wire Plus.
00:36:37.560When it hit theaters in September, it immediately became the number one new comedy.
