00:00:20.980 Request a calming call with TD Mortgage Direct and say hello to good advice.
00:00:30.000 CNN has seized upon the awful shooting at a Texas high school last week
00:00:34.240 to spew fake news and push its political agenda at a record rate.
00:00:38.920 We will break down the activists' false claims line by line.
00:00:41.940 Then, Kyle Kashuv and Kenneth Preston stop by to discuss the media reaction.
00:00:47.080 After that, Trump's prophetic streak continues as an MS-13 gang member named Animal,
00:00:53.420 his name is actually Animal, is sentenced to 40 years in prison
00:00:57.400 and a literal sinkhole opens up on the White House lawn
00:01:01.280 because God does not always paint with the subtlest brush.
00:01:04.120 Finally, the lionization of pederast cult apologist Harvey Milk on This Day in History.
00:01:10.080 I'm Michael Knowles and this is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:19.740 There is so much to get to today.
00:01:21.320 And then also, that phrase, pederast cult apologist,
00:01:25.300 that might be the worst epitaph to possibly have.
00:01:28.640 That is the one title I think I want to avoid in my life, pederast cult apologist.
00:01:33.340 Nevertheless, the left makes this guy out to be the greatest hero of history.
00:01:37.320 We will discuss all the many myths of Harvey Milk before I get to any of those things.
00:01:42.880 Let me tell you about my bed.
00:01:44.300 Let me bring you on in.
00:01:45.280 You know that I'm getting married soon, getting a little excited.

00:01:50.460 I'm talking about Bowling Branch.
00:01:53.180 I love Bowling Branch.

00:02:05.480 You just need to change your sheets.
00:02:06.960 Me being a derelict bachelor bum in my life,
00:02:09.800 I'd go to, you know, the near store and I'd spend $3 and get sheets made of sandpaper
00:02:14.780 because I didn't think it mattered what kind of sheets you have.
00:02:17.600 It matters.
00:02:18.360 It matters so much.

00:03:16.300 They're really nice.
00:03:16.980 No risk.
00:03:17.780 No reason not to give them a try.
00:03:19.200 To get started, right now, my listeners, don't say I never did nothing for you.

00:03:43.320 Promo code Michael, M-I-C-H-A-E-L.
00:03:45.920 That's my name.
00:03:46.720 Okay.
00:03:47.600 They're really, really good.
00:03:49.180 So much fake news to discuss.
00:03:50.660 That was the only real news you're going to hear for the rest of the show.
00:03:53.700 Because now we're going to get into fake news.
00:03:55.600 So this is right out of the left-wing playbook.
00:03:58.880 There was this awful shooting last week.
00:04:00.900 And this is what they do.
00:04:02.700 They wait for a tragedy to happen.
00:04:04.620 They pounce on it and they spread fake news.
00:04:06.900 And I'm using fake news in a very specific way.
00:04:09.080 I mean, they are lying about statistics.
00:04:11.440 They're lying about incidents.
00:04:12.660 And then they accuse anybody who questions that fake news of politicizing the incident.
00:04:18.180 This happens every time.
00:04:19.680 There's this tragedy.
00:04:20.660 We say, okay, maybe we should all just calm down a little bit and mourn for what's happened.
00:04:24.620 Then they spread a bunch of lies.
00:04:26.020 We say, well, you know, that isn't correct actually.
00:04:28.380 They say, how dare you?
00:04:29.640 You're politicizing this.
00:04:31.200 I'm not politicizing this.
00:04:32.700 So you see this has been happening all the time.
00:04:36.060 We hear this from CNN.
00:04:37.580 They say, including today's shooting incident at a Texas high school, this year there have
00:04:42.280 already been 22 school shootings where someone was hurt or killed.
00:04:46.520 That averages out to more than one shooting a week.
00:04:50.160 That's a terrifying statistic, right?
00:04:52.080 Sure.
00:04:52.660 It just isn't true.
00:04:53.540 The way they arrived at this statistic is they included incidents where at least one person
00:05:00.260 is shot, not including the shooter, that it occurred on school grounds, grades K through
00:05:04.660 college, through university level.
00:05:06.960 It includes gang violence.
00:05:08.720 It includes just brawls.
00:05:10.640 It includes domestic violence.
00:05:12.140 They even include the accidental discharge of any firearm, of any firearm at all.
00:05:18.860 We're not just talking about big, scary guns.
00:05:20.400 So here are some of the things that are included to let you arrive at that untrue statistic that
00:05:26.100 there have been 22 school shootings this year.
00:05:28.780 On April 9th in Globersville, New York, a student shot another student with a BB gun and that
00:05:34.440 other student had a bruise on his, on his body.
00:05:37.520 That counts.
00:05:38.200 They include that in the statistic.
00:05:39.760 They're trying to conflate someone using a little pellet gun and it leaves a bruise to
00:05:44.960 a major school shooting, which is awful.
00:05:48.720 One, because it's dishonest, but it's disrespectful to the people who actually were victims of the
00:05:52.460 shooting.
00:05:53.000 March 13th in Seaside, California, a teacher accidentally discharged a firearm during a public safety
00:05:58.160 class.
00:05:59.060 No one was killed.
00:06:00.280 Everyone was okay.
00:06:01.360 They're comparing that to 10 people being killed.
00:06:04.100 March 8th in Alabama, a non-student was shot at an apartment on the University of South Alabama
00:06:10.080 campus.
00:06:11.480 Non-student, but the image that they conjure on the left when they say this is some lunatic
00:06:17.320 murderer going into an elementary school and killing children.
00:06:20.660 But the statistic is including people, just some guy living on the campus, wasn't even a
00:06:24.940 student.
00:06:25.180 February, in Itabena, Mississippi, a non-student was shot at a recreation center at Mississippi
00:06:32.200 Valley State University.
00:06:33.820 That's in there too.
00:06:34.780 January 1st in Philly, a 32-year-old non-student was shot outside a high school after a fight.
00:06:41.800 The guy's just walking around a high school.
00:06:43.760 He ends up getting shot.
00:06:44.880 He's 32 years old.
00:06:46.480 But no, that's a school shooting because they need to make this number really scary because
00:06:50.240 they need to politicize tragedy.
00:06:51.780 When you take out all those extraneous incidents, the number becomes seven school shootings this
00:06:57.040 year.
00:06:57.580 And by the way, seven is bad.
00:06:59.420 That's not good.
00:07:00.740 That number alone should be alarming.
00:07:04.520 But the meme that they use, the left's meme here, is to vastly exaggerate the numbers.
00:07:09.080 And then when you point out the real numbers, you say it's not 22, it's seven.
00:07:11.860 They say, what, seven's not enough?
00:07:14.300 What, that's nothing to you?
00:07:15.800 I say, no, that's a big deal.
00:07:17.280 But you're the one lying and multiplying it by more than three times what it actually is.
00:07:22.180 You see this all the time.
00:07:23.380 Here's just a quick little rundown from the mainstream media.
00:07:26.280 And in that time, there have been 20 mass shootings, 20 mass shootings in the US.
00:07:31.280 We have a pattern now of mass shootings in this country that has no parallel anywhere
00:07:37.300 else in the world.
00:07:38.340 There you heard at the end, there is Barack Obama.
00:07:41.860 It has no parallel anywhere else in the world.
00:07:43.840 20 mass shootings.
00:07:44.900 Now, of course, the number just changes because they just redefine mass shooting however they
00:07:50.080 want to do it in order to make the number seem as big as possible.
00:07:53.280 But what Barack Obama just said also isn't true.
00:07:56.080 We don't, we aren't an outlier when you compare it to the rest of the world.
00:07:59.460 We're not even an outlier when you compare mass shootings in the US to Europe.
00:08:03.360 So when you define mass shooting to exclude gang violence and terrorist attacks, as any
00:08:08.880 reasonable person would, mass shooting rates in the United States are on par with Europe.
00:08:13.660 They're actually a little bit lower.
00:08:15.100 They're below Norway.
00:08:16.320 They're below Macedonia.
00:08:17.480 They're below Serbia, Slovakia, Finland, Belgium, and the Czech Republic.
00:08:22.340 We're below all of those.
00:08:23.920 But that doesn't jive with the scare tactics.
00:08:26.460 They want to say the US is crazy.
00:08:28.060 It's just totally crazy out here.
00:08:29.560 The implication being the United States has a second amendment.
00:08:32.260 We need to get rid of that.
00:08:33.600 But when you look at the actual numbers, we're about where everyone else is.
00:08:37.580 Here's, here's another one from CNN and Jimmy Kimmel tweeted this.
00:08:40.700 So, you know, that's how you know it isn't funny is when Jimmy Kimmel tweets something.
00:08:44.280 CNN wrote, quote, the US has had 57 times as many school shootings as the other major industrialized
00:08:51.000 nations combined.
00:08:52.560 288 school shootings since 2009.
00:08:56.760 288.
00:08:57.360 Whoa.
00:08:58.380 I don't remember that.
00:08:59.640 Do you remember?
00:09:00.040 You've been watching the news.
00:09:00.920 The news breathlessly reports any of these things.
00:09:05.580 288.
00:09:06.140 I don't, I don't know.
00:09:07.800 That didn't happen, did it?
00:09:08.860 Those numbers are pushed by anti-gun groups, anti-Second Amendment groups.
00:09:13.760 In particular, Everytown for Gun Safety, which is Mike Bloomberg's group.
00:09:18.560 So Jeff Greenfield, who's a longtime contributor to CNN, CBS, ABC, PBS, NBC, just every three-letter
00:09:24.580 mainstream media left-wing hack shop.
00:09:27.340 He said in February 2018, quote, in the rest of the world, there have been 18 school shootings
00:09:34.880 in the last 20 years.
00:09:36.340 In the US, there have been 18 since January 1st.
00:09:40.140 Even PolitiFact, which is a left-leaning website, rated that statement mostly false.
00:09:45.980 This was a statement made by a well-respected member of the mainstream media who has worked
00:09:50.620 for every mainstream media outlet, practically, that there is.
00:09:55.200 And he's getting his information, like so many of the others, from every town for gun safety.
00:10:00.480 And just look, the left does this.
00:10:01.800 I did a Prager video recently about language, how the left uses language and twists language
00:10:06.720 to change the narrative and to control the culture.
00:10:10.400 They use the word every town for gun safety.
00:10:14.860 Now, I've traveled through Texas, traveled through the South, traveled through the Midwest.
00:10:19.260 I don't think those towns are the towns that want to abridge our Second Amendment, infringe
00:10:24.300 on our gun ownership rights in the country.
00:10:26.900 But they say every town because they say, look, we all agree.
00:10:28.700 We all agree.
00:10:29.860 It's every town for gun safety.
00:10:31.760 So I thought you were talking about gun control.
00:10:34.160 No, gun safety, because I have a safety on my gun.
00:10:36.700 There's a little safety switch.
00:10:37.720 And I click it up, click it down.
00:10:38.980 That's my gun safety.
00:10:39.960 I don't think they're advocating for that.
00:10:41.300 I think they want to take away the guns.
00:10:43.000 So every town includes, among their countings of all of these so-called shootings, they include
00:10:50.040 on January 3rd, East Olive Elementary School in Michigan, a man committed suicide in that
00:10:56.600 school parking lot.
00:10:57.940 That's a mass shooting.
00:10:59.460 That's a school shooting.
00:11:01.000 Coronado Elementary in Arizona, a student committed suicide in the bathroom.
00:11:04.460 There were no other injuries.
00:11:05.800 Sad story.
00:11:07.240 Not what we think of when we think of a school shooting, not a mass shooting.
00:11:10.580 Murphy High in Alabama, a student fired a gun into the air outside of school after an
00:11:14.760 argument.
00:11:15.620 I don't know.
00:11:15.800 Maybe that's just how they celebrate down in Alabama.
00:11:17.780 You know, like it was the one with the big mustache on Looney Tunes.
00:11:20.780 Anyway, nobody was injured.
00:11:22.240 And that counts as a mass school shooting.
00:11:24.580 Here is a Democrat running for governor in Florida.
00:11:26.560 Here's what he's saying.
00:11:27.940 We send our children off to school.
00:11:29.880 We want to know they're safe.
00:11:31.560 But here in Florida, despite 14 school shootings in eight years, we still have some of the weakest
00:11:37.060 gun laws in the nation.
00:11:38.380 That's Philip Levine.
00:11:40.600 Not true.
00:11:41.480 Not true.
00:11:42.000 Flat out lies.
00:11:43.120 So how does he get to that number?
00:11:45.060 14 school shootings in the last five minutes or whatever ridiculous scare claim he's making.
00:11:50.860 Well, March 2012, at the Episcopal School of Jacksonville, a Spanish teacher was fired and the disgruntled
00:11:57.680 employee went and killed his boss, basically, the head of the school, then killed himself.
00:12:04.000 It's not what we think of when we think of a school shooting.
00:12:06.240 January 2013, there was a shooting in Fort Myers.
00:12:08.360 A 27-year-old was believed to have been killed by gangs in retaliation, a retaliation killing for
00:12:14.800 speaking to cops.
00:12:15.700 That's a 27-year-old.
00:12:16.780 That's not a poor kid being gunned down in his own school.
00:12:20.820 March 2013, a 30-year-old student killed himself at the University of Central Florida.
00:12:24.700 March 2014, an elementary school teacher was killed by her husband.
00:12:28.820 All very sad stories.
00:12:30.520 But to conflate it with these mass shootings is just a lie.
00:12:33.180 Again, even left-leaning PolitiFact rated that mostly false.
00:12:37.580 Here's another one.
00:12:38.260 Let's roll some more mainstream clips.
00:12:40.480 The school shootings in Oregon and at Washington State are just two among a startling number of
00:12:45.980 school shootings this year.
00:12:47.580 22 News reveals how many there have been and how it's affecting people in western Massachusetts.
00:12:53.680 37.
00:12:54.620 That's how many school shootings there have been in the U.S. this year.
00:12:58.380 Every town for gun safety calculated the findings.
00:13:01.060 Local parents say the statistics are alarming.
00:13:04.640 We saturate ourselves too much in violence, our whole culture.
00:13:09.120 And it just doesn't seem you can't do anything about it.
00:13:11.540 It's like throwing a wiffle ball into the wind.
00:13:13.560 What's even more shocking is the number of school shootings since the Sandy Hook massacre in
00:13:18.080 December 2012.
00:13:19.920 In the 18 months since, there have been 74 instances of shots fired on school grounds.
00:13:27.300 Not true.
00:13:28.700 Those numbers just are not right.
00:13:30.520 Again, even PolitiFact, even left-leaning PolitiFact, rates that mostly false.
00:13:36.400 When you delve into the numbers of the 74, they say 74 numbers, how do you get to that
00:13:41.040 number?
00:13:41.620 When you get to actual school shootings, at the very highest count, that number is 10.
00:13:47.280 Is that a high number?
00:13:48.180 Yes.
00:13:48.500 Is that number too high?
00:13:49.660 Yes.
00:13:49.920 Is it scary?
00:13:50.740 Yes.
00:13:51.000 Is it tragic?
00:13:52.300 Yes.
00:13:53.660 10 of 74.
00:13:54.860 There were another 39 that were caused by drug dealing, robbery, and personal altercations.
00:14:01.460 That's nearly four times as many as we would call school shootings.
00:14:04.960 How about incidents outside of school hours?
00:14:06.940 They had nothing to do with the school.
00:14:08.280 People just happened to be walking onto the school because it's public property.
00:14:12.160 16.
00:14:12.600 That's 60% higher than the number of actual school shootings.
00:14:17.920 Suicide, six.
00:14:18.980 Accidental discharge, three.
00:14:21.120 74 incidents that they count resulted in 38 deaths.
00:14:25.740 Is that high?
00:14:26.480 Yes.
00:14:26.740 Is that sad?
00:14:27.460 Yes.
00:14:28.080 Relative to 74 incidents, though, that's a relatively modest number of deaths.
00:14:31.980 Because if you say there have been 74 school shootings, what comes up into people's minds
00:14:36.200 is 10 people killed at each of these.
00:14:38.000 So you have this image in your mind that, I don't know, 740, 750 people have been killed
00:14:42.700 in one of these school shootings.
00:14:43.980 But really, it's 38.
00:14:45.700 And a lot are suicide.
00:14:47.220 A lot are gang-related.
00:14:49.520 A lot are robbery-related.
00:14:51.540 Nearly half, by the way, 35 of them, took place at colleges or universities.
00:14:55.680 Again, you hear a school shooting, and the left is so good at this when they politicize
00:14:59.620 this issue constantly.
00:15:00.500 You think of these poor little elementary school kids at Sandy Hook or something.
00:15:04.400 Half of them are at colleges or universities, sometimes involving non-students, people in
00:15:08.160 their 30s, people who are older.
00:15:10.560 Whenever guns are involved, there is massive manipulation that happens on the left.
00:15:14.600 Emotional manipulation, statistical manipulation, legal manipulation.
00:15:19.880 Emotionally, they want to put these images in your head that are not true.
00:15:23.040 Statistically, they exaggerate the numbers.
00:15:25.120 Legally, they try to get around the Second Amendment.
00:15:27.240 Contrary to the mainstream media reporting, contrary to these sad events that do happen
00:15:32.960 from time to time, there has been no spike in recent decades of children killed at schools.
00:15:38.700 They say that there is an epidemic going on.
00:15:41.300 It's getting crazy.
00:15:42.360 We have to do something.
00:15:43.320 It's getting so much worse.
00:15:45.080 In fact, in reality, children killed in school shootings are down 75% since the early 1990s.
00:15:52.500 They're not up 75%.
00:15:53.680 They're not up 100%.
00:15:54.700 It's fallen 75%.
00:15:56.500 More children are killed each year by swimming pools and bicycles than by mass shootings in
00:16:01.020 school, mass shootings in general.
00:16:02.640 Over the past several decades, there have been gun control laws enacted.
00:16:06.960 There have been gun control laws repealed.
00:16:08.700 They have had no effect.
00:16:10.540 They've had negligible effect on these numbers.
00:16:12.560 And that includes the assault weapons ban of 1994, which then expired 10 years later.
00:16:17.040 And that brings us to the gun control aspect here.
00:16:19.180 Because in this recent, very sad shooting, there was no AR-15 used.
00:16:24.180 In the recent shootings, the left, in order to push gun control and to politicize these
00:16:28.420 tragedies, has said we need to ban semi-automatic rifles, AR-15s.
00:16:33.580 It's the semi-automatic.
00:16:35.000 Semi-automatic means you pull the trigger once and a bullet comes out.
00:16:38.060 We know that five times as many people each year are murdered with knives as with rifles
00:16:42.580 of any kind, including semi-automatic, including AR-15.
00:16:45.860 We know one and a half times as many people are killed with baseball bats and clubs and hammers.
00:16:49.660 We know that two times as many people are killed with hands and feet.
00:16:52.980 We know that over 19 times as many people are killed with handguns as with rifles of
00:16:57.520 any kind, including AR-15s.
00:16:59.360 But in this shooting, no AR-15.
00:17:01.820 This was a shotgun, a revolver, and homemade explosives, Molotov cocktails.
00:17:08.540 I mean, this was a sick, sick puppy who committed this act.
00:17:12.700 But he wasn't using the AR-15.
00:17:14.640 In fact, the shotgun was pump action.
00:17:16.400 It wasn't even semi-automatic.
00:17:18.080 You had to pump the shotgun, which means we're talking about the simplest
00:17:22.840 gun that there is.
00:17:24.160 There's practically no simpler gun in the country.
00:17:27.260 This isn't some super high-tech thing.
00:17:29.660 Very basic gun.
00:17:30.840 The gun control crowd has pounced on the shooting.
00:17:33.280 But what are they going to say now?
00:17:34.580 They can't say, hey, this scary looking gun, we need to just ban this one.
00:17:39.000 Because now we're talking about the most basic gun there is.
00:17:40.940 So it gets, I think, to the heart of the argument.
00:17:42.700 To help us make sense of the media reaction,
00:17:45.560 I have got two guys here who have a lot of experience in the media spotlight on gun control.
00:17:51.200 Kyle Kashiv and Kenneth Preston.
00:17:52.620 We're going to talk to them in just one second.
00:17:55.300 But before, now that you know that we have them here,
00:17:58.680 it's going to be expert opinion and discussion.
00:18:02.080 I need you to listen to Little Bits.
00:18:04.380 Little Bits is really good.
00:18:05.340 A wonderful sponsor.
00:18:06.600 And listen, you know, these guys are pretty young.
00:18:09.340 18, 19 years old.
00:18:10.660 And we try to reach the youth in this program.
00:18:15.160 So I'm going to tell you about it.
00:18:15.960 An award-winning platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks
00:18:18.660 for creating inventions large and small.
00:18:21.280 I have this to send to my nephew.
00:18:25.060 Because I wasn't going to keep the, it's a toy.
00:18:27.460 It's a really cool, sophisticated toy from Little Bits.
00:18:30.480 It's the complete droid kit.
00:18:31.760 It looks really neat.
00:18:32.540 I wasn't going to build it myself.
00:18:34.140 You know, I kind of feel like I'm a little old for that.
00:18:36.960 I don't know.
00:18:37.480 Meanwhile, I walk down the hallway at the Daily Wire.
00:18:39.340 All the 30-year-olds are pouring up, begging me to have the toy.
00:18:42.340 I'm sending it to my little nephew.
00:18:44.300 This is amazing.
00:18:45.360 Six bits, 20 droid parts, three sticker sheets, a free app.
00:18:50.020 App has step-by-step instructions, video tutorials,
00:18:53.340 drive mode, force mode, self-navigation,
00:18:56.320 20 authentic droid sounds from the Star Wars films.
00:18:59.660 It's just, if this toy had been out when I was a kid,
00:19:01.940 I was also sort of a Star Wars fanatic.
00:19:04.040 I would have gone crazy for it.
00:19:06.040 22 missions, more than 22 missions in the app.
00:19:09.340 To teach the droid new skills, custom-wise new droids,
00:19:12.420 give them personality coding.
00:19:14.240 It's really, really cool.
00:19:15.360 I'm very lucky.
00:19:16.240 I never know what to get my nephews, you know,
00:19:17.880 for Christmas or whatever the holiday.
00:19:20.020 So I send this over.
00:19:21.260 This is the toy.
00:19:22.320 Because I looked it up, too.
00:19:23.720 Everyone is saying this is like the toy of the year.
00:19:27.340 It actually won the Toy Association's 2018 Toy of the Year.
00:19:30.760 So get it for your kids and inspire invention.
00:19:33.680 Really, you can't go wrong.
00:19:34.820 This is such a cool toy.
00:19:36.420 My nephew really, really likes it.
00:19:39.280 Visit littlebits.com slash Knowles,
00:19:41.160 K-N-O-W-L-E-S, just like Jay-Z's wife,
00:19:43.860 for $10 off a droid inventor kit.
00:19:46.120 Don't say I never did nothing for you.
00:19:47.800 Littlebits.com slash Knowles,
00:19:49.920 K-N-O-W-L-E-S,
00:19:51.340 $10 off a droid inventor kit.
00:19:54.520 Gentlemen, thank you for being here.
00:19:57.600 We've got Kyle Kashuv,
00:19:58.860 Kenneth Preston.
00:20:00.420 What are you guys doing in town?
00:20:02.540 We were at a convention a few days ago,
00:20:04.480 a gun convention,
00:20:05.280 and we've just been going around
00:20:06.460 and seeing this deplorable city.
00:20:08.880 It is.
00:20:09.620 It is a deplorable city.
00:20:11.320 Well, I got to say,
00:20:12.140 you make very astute observations.
00:20:14.780 You have become,
00:20:15.600 because I've had you both on my show before.
00:20:17.680 We came on after the shooting at your high school.
00:20:20.600 You came on to talk about the media reaction,
00:20:22.540 this media frenzy that came around the high school.
00:20:24.840 And then, Kenneth,
00:20:25.280 you produced this incredible report.
00:20:27.840 I think you're the last journalist in America.
00:20:30.080 It's you and Cheryl Atkinson.
00:20:31.980 You actually produced this investigative report
00:20:34.000 on all of the abuses,
00:20:35.740 all of the total failures at Broward County
00:20:37.720 that led to that shooting.
00:20:40.340 They might have a lot of guilt on their hands
00:20:42.800 for allowing this guy to slip through the cracks.
00:20:46.000 In the meantime,
00:20:46.980 since I've talked to you both,
00:20:48.980 you have become a Twitter star.
00:20:51.260 Kyle, you are,
00:20:52.500 it is one of the best Twitter accounts on the internet.
00:20:54.720 Thank you.
00:20:55.820 You're making all of these observations.
00:20:57.980 I think you're doing better
00:20:58.900 than perhaps some other young activists
00:21:01.880 around the country.
00:21:02.740 I would agree.
00:21:03.940 I'm sure you would.
00:21:06.060 So I want to begin.
00:21:08.900 Kyle, you are,
00:21:10.680 recently,
00:21:11.340 I saw this tweet,
00:21:12.720 you are currently ranked number one
00:21:14.500 in your high school class.
00:21:15.440 Yes, sir.
00:21:16.660 You don't go on CNN as much
00:21:18.160 as members of your high school class,
00:21:19.680 but you are ranked...
00:21:20.520 No, they cut me off.
00:21:21.540 They cut you,
00:21:22.020 CNN cut you off.
00:21:22.920 Yeah, I was supposed to go on
00:21:23.680 and they cut off from the internet interview.
00:21:26.180 Did they really?
00:21:26.860 Yeah.
00:21:27.340 No.
00:21:27.620 They backed out.
00:21:29.020 It's,
00:21:29.380 is it,
00:21:29.920 it's,
00:21:30.480 well,
00:21:30.600 I wonder what,
00:21:31.160 what's the difference?
00:21:32.080 What is it about you that might...
00:21:34.040 I couldn't tell you.
00:21:34.860 I don't know what it is.
00:21:36.020 I absolutely couldn't.
00:21:37.580 So your number one in your class,
00:21:39.420 by the way,
00:21:39.880 I hate to break this to you,
00:21:41.060 there's no way
00:21:41.920 that your teachers
00:21:43.960 in school administration
00:21:44.800 are ever going to let you
00:21:45.820 be valedictorian.
00:21:46.680 That is just not going to happen.
00:21:47.780 I've doubled down
00:21:48.420 on taking more classes this summer.
00:21:49.920 Have you really?
00:21:50.560 Yeah.
00:21:50.680 What classes are you taking?
00:21:51.760 I'm taking like three random
00:21:52.760 college classes
00:21:53.380 that I've never heard of before
00:21:54.440 just to make sure
00:21:55.200 I solidify number one.
00:21:56.180 I don't know if I took
00:21:56.900 three classes in college.
00:21:58.080 I did a lot of things in college.
00:21:59.520 I don't know if I took
00:21:59.960 three whole classes.
00:22:01.860 In a serious note,
00:22:03.100 do you find it hard,
00:22:03.680 you've become this media celebrity
00:22:05.500 since the shooting
00:22:06.940 because you came out
00:22:08.680 and said enough is enough
00:22:09.660 with the media manipulation here.
00:22:11.920 Yeah, I called BS.
00:22:12.720 You called BS on it.
00:22:13.920 You happened to be
00:22:15.240 a supporter of the Second Amendment.
00:22:16.940 That was very taboo.
00:22:18.980 Do you find it's hard to manage
00:22:20.280 remaining a high school student,
00:22:21.800 staying number one in your class,
00:22:23.120 and having all of this
00:22:24.280 attention on you?
00:22:25.320 Oh yeah, definitely.
00:22:26.020 Like I have to make sure
00:22:26.820 I don't slip up
00:22:27.480 in any way, shape, or form,
00:22:28.480 or I'm going to be...
00:22:29.560 The media will definitely
00:22:30.820 jump on it.
00:22:31.940 Specifically at school,
00:22:32.860 I get a lot of hate.
00:22:33.940 I get stare-downs at school.
00:22:35.280 Do you really?
00:22:35.800 Yeah, absolutely.
00:22:36.800 Like I keep a tracker every day
00:22:38.060 of how many people stare me down.
00:22:39.080 It's close to like
00:22:39.520 two to three people every day.
00:22:41.200 Do you...
00:22:41.820 Is the school's very left-wing?
00:22:43.180 Yes, very.
00:22:43.860 Of course, like all schools are.
00:22:45.340 Absolutely.
00:22:45.720 Certainly.
00:22:46.500 That...
00:22:47.220 And now, so...
00:22:47.980 But you've become
00:22:48.440 a Twitter celebrity.
00:22:49.660 All in all,
00:22:50.200 I'm very happy about that
00:22:51.080 because you have
00:22:51.420 a great perspective.
00:22:53.040 Kenneth,
00:22:53.960 you have produced
00:22:55.000 this serious body of work,
00:22:57.340 serious allegations
00:22:58.240 against local officials.
00:23:00.020 It was briefly reported
00:23:01.800 by some people
00:23:02.580 in the conservative media,
00:23:03.580 and basically
00:23:04.420 it's been blacked out.
00:23:05.360 No one is reporting on this.
00:23:07.460 What's going on?
00:23:08.640 Well, there was a media blip
00:23:10.620 for just a moment
00:23:11.320 and exactly as you said,
00:23:12.960 it disappeared.
00:23:14.060 We had some traction.
00:23:15.200 Marco Rubio called
00:23:15.920 for an investigation
00:23:16.520 into some of our claims.
00:23:18.180 So, you know,
00:23:19.200 behind the scenes,
00:23:19.840 things are going on.
00:23:20.460 But really,
00:23:20.980 local officials,
00:23:22.160 local media,
00:23:23.320 nobody's covering it.
00:23:24.280 The interesting thing,
00:23:25.280 though,
00:23:25.400 is that we finally had...
00:23:27.520 They were denying
00:23:28.140 for months
00:23:28.920 that any of the information
00:23:29.980 was true or correct,
00:23:30.880 and the superintendent
00:23:31.360 had to come out
00:23:32.100 and finally admit
00:23:32.820 to the fact that
00:23:33.860 they were misleading
00:23:35.000 at the beginning.
00:23:36.240 They said that
00:23:37.100 the student was never
00:23:37.880 part of these discipline programs
00:23:39.180 when, in fact,
00:23:39.740 a reporter revealed
00:23:40.840 that the student was.
00:23:42.420 He was referred to...
00:23:42.980 The shooter was part
00:23:44.120 of these discipline programs
00:23:45.140 and because of the policies
00:23:47.160 of Broward County,
00:23:48.160 he was not processed.
00:23:49.980 They said,
00:23:50.300 oh, we're going to sweep
00:23:51.080 this under the rug.
00:23:52.360 Basically.
00:23:52.960 And they denied that
00:23:53.760 from the beginning
00:23:54.260 and finally it came to light
00:23:56.020 that that was the truth.
00:23:57.020 This is really interesting work
00:23:59.240 and it actually shows something
00:24:00.300 in the culture,
00:24:01.260 both of you guys,
00:24:02.440 because the mainstream media,
00:24:03.940 they try to create a big show.
00:24:06.580 They try to create
00:24:07.300 the illusion of popular support,
00:24:09.800 but it seems astroturfed,
00:24:12.040 doesn't it?
00:24:12.520 You know, you're doing...
00:24:13.940 Some of your classmates
00:24:15.000 will go on TV
00:24:16.380 and just lie,
00:24:18.400 say fake statistics,
00:24:20.400 slander U.S. senators
00:24:22.500 and civil rights advocates
00:24:23.660 and they're lauded and applauded.
00:24:26.120 The minute that you contravene
00:24:27.320 that orthodoxy in the media,
00:24:28.920 the minute you start
00:24:29.520 going after the media,
00:24:31.160 they turn on you.
00:24:32.200 They try to shut you down.
00:24:33.260 You have some issues at school,
00:24:36.840 but also issues
00:24:38.280 with the local
00:24:39.000 law enforcement officials.
00:24:41.200 I do want your thoughts
00:24:43.200 broadly because
00:24:44.380 I've tried to only focus
00:24:45.740 these conversations
00:24:46.480 on the media.
00:24:47.820 The media have descended
00:24:49.460 on Parkland
00:24:50.880 and Broward County.
00:24:53.420 This debate has gone on
00:24:54.760 a long time
00:24:55.420 in its most recent iteration.
00:24:59.440 In this recent shooting
00:25:00.800 at Santa Fe, Texas,
00:25:03.100 the killer was on the honor roll.
00:25:05.500 The killer was a football player.
00:25:07.140 The killer was apparently
00:25:09.240 just a regular high school student.
00:25:11.480 There weren't a lot of signs.
00:25:13.120 He didn't fall through
00:25:13.880 the cracks of disciplinary programs
00:25:15.400 as far as we know.
00:25:17.020 And yet people demand
00:25:17.940 no more, never again.
00:25:19.260 We need to do something.
00:25:20.220 We need to prevent these
00:25:20.980 from ever happening again.
00:25:22.300 Is there a chance
00:25:23.240 that this just was not preventable?
00:25:27.300 Well, yeah, definitely.
00:25:28.560 I mean, there are certain aspects
00:25:29.880 where it could have been prevented
00:25:30.900 had there been
00:25:31.660 the proper school resource officers
00:25:33.640 on campus being able to defend it.
00:25:35.160 That's why you see the kids calling.
00:25:36.960 We want to arm schools.
00:25:38.140 We want to harden schools.
00:25:39.900 But I think fundamentally
00:25:41.180 what the left is proposing
00:25:42.300 for the shooting
00:25:43.640 that happened at my school
00:25:44.300 would not have stopped
00:25:45.140 the Texas shooting
00:25:46.960 that we see right now.
00:25:48.240 That's a really good point.
00:25:49.980 It didn't even occur to me.
00:25:51.180 You're right.
00:25:51.500 If you have people there
00:25:52.540 who can physically
00:25:53.360 stop these shootings.
00:25:54.280 Because once the shooter
00:25:55.080 is on campus,
00:25:55.940 you're screwed
00:25:56.580 unless you have someone.
00:25:57.880 Like, the cliche is that
00:25:59.500 only a good guy with a gun
00:26:00.500 can stop a bad guy with a gun.
00:26:01.740 But it's true.
00:26:03.100 Yeah, right.
00:26:03.440 And that's the only way
00:26:04.460 you can stop him.
00:26:05.600 Yeah, that's right.
00:26:06.240 Just to call it a cliche
00:26:07.300 doesn't mean it isn't true.
00:26:08.460 It's obviously,
00:26:09.120 it is obviously true.
00:26:10.540 I want to know,
00:26:12.380 you know,
00:26:13.000 our pal around here,
00:26:14.980 we broadcast from
00:26:15.960 the broom closet
00:26:16.460 of the Ben Shapiro show.
00:26:17.560 The guy who broadcasts
00:26:18.840 from the studio
00:26:19.360 of the Ben Shapiro show,
00:26:20.540 he says facts
00:26:21.180 don't care about your feelings.
00:26:22.540 But it seems like
00:26:23.640 the gun control activists
00:26:24.840 and the media
00:26:25.360 don't care about facts.
00:26:26.820 I mean, we just ran through
00:26:27.620 all of those bogus statistics
00:26:28.960 that they are breathlessly reporting.
00:26:31.800 Support for stricter gun laws
00:26:33.240 is at the highest level
00:26:34.220 it's been since 1993.
00:26:36.220 Despite the fact
00:26:37.000 that no gun law
00:26:37.860 proposed in recent years
00:26:38.780 would have prevented
00:26:39.360 any of these shootings.
00:26:41.700 How can we combat
00:26:42.920 that perception?
00:26:45.140 What is the way
00:26:46.580 to get people
00:26:47.120 to care about facts
00:26:48.160 on the gun debate?
00:26:49.460 Well, I think it's
00:26:50.540 not necessarily
00:26:51.480 just a gun debate.
00:26:52.500 It's something
00:26:53.460 that should be looked at
00:26:54.260 as a multifaceted issue.
00:26:55.720 And I think the way
00:26:56.360 to do that
00:26:56.980 is to bring them
00:26:58.320 the fact that look
00:26:59.220 whatever your feeling
00:27:00.920 is on guns
00:27:01.540 there were systematic failures
00:27:03.300 that led to the body count
00:27:05.320 that day.
00:27:06.120 Systematic failures.
00:27:06.920 And to show them that
00:27:07.620 to present the evidence
00:27:08.540 and to now what we're doing
00:27:09.880 is running school board members
00:27:10.920 and showing them
00:27:11.700 that there is
00:27:12.320 a better way
00:27:13.340 I believe that
00:27:14.360 once we implement
00:27:15.040 those changes
00:27:15.580 and things start
00:27:16.160 to fix themselves
00:27:16.900 that the conversation
00:27:17.980 is going to begin to shift.
00:27:19.240 That's such a good point.
00:27:20.740 And to hear you speak
00:27:21.760 about this
00:27:22.180 you sound like adults.
00:27:23.760 The reason
00:27:24.140 I have to admit
00:27:25.680 I was very hesitant
00:27:26.500 at first
00:27:27.060 to talk to you guys
00:27:28.200 about gun control
00:27:28.940 because I don't
00:27:29.880 I certainly shouldn't be.
00:27:31.260 Well because I think
00:27:32.060 just because
00:27:33.740 a 17 year old
00:27:35.080 or an 18 year old
00:27:36.060 has lived
00:27:37.480 through some experience
00:27:38.460 that doesn't make him
00:27:39.280 an expert
00:27:39.660 on constitutional law
00:27:40.820 or crime prevention
00:27:42.020 and then CNN
00:27:42.800 put your classmates
00:27:44.280 on TV immediately
00:27:45.300 and said
00:27:45.700 get emotional
00:27:46.320 but to hear you
00:27:47.260 talk about it
00:27:47.880 you're not impassioned
00:27:49.600 in calling people names
00:27:51.160 you're looking at this
00:27:52.460 in a very systematic way
00:27:53.760 and saying
00:27:54.040 oh maybe that
00:27:55.300 maybe that law
00:27:56.320 if that law
00:27:57.140 hadn't been in place
00:27:57.980 this guy would have been caught
00:27:59.720 if this policy
00:28:00.480 had been enforced
00:28:01.080 if this money
00:28:01.880 had been spent
00:28:02.500 you can actually do it
00:28:03.640 in a very rational
00:28:05.340 and systematic way
00:28:06.880 that is utterly missing
00:28:08.460 from the debate
00:28:09.340 on this issue.
00:28:10.720 I want to know
00:28:11.280 what is next for you guys?
00:28:12.560 You're the last journalist
00:28:13.340 in America, Kenneth.
00:28:15.540 What's next?
00:28:16.220 What can we look for from you?
00:28:17.120 Where can we find you?
00:28:17.920 Sure.
00:28:18.300 Right now
00:28:18.820 all I'm doing
00:28:19.620 is working on school board races
00:28:20.800 ensuring that the current leadership
00:28:22.180 is not here come November
00:28:24.340 so that we can harden our schools
00:28:26.100 what we want to do
00:28:26.660 is make sure that Broward County
00:28:27.840 is an example
00:28:28.480 to the rest of the country
00:28:29.280 of what a school district can be
00:28:30.740 and after that
00:28:31.780 just continuing to expose
00:28:33.140 some elected officials
00:28:34.080 that have some
00:28:34.860 some answering to do.
00:28:36.120 It's great work
00:28:36.660 because it's not glamorous
00:28:37.820 first of all
00:28:38.440 running those races
00:28:39.220 is not glamorous
00:28:39.940 I've run a bunch of small races
00:28:41.480 running them is not glamorous
00:28:42.760 covering local politics
00:28:43.860 is not glamorous
00:28:44.660 but it is the most important work
00:28:46.520 in politics
00:28:47.200 so
00:28:47.900 godspeed with that
00:28:49.220 Kyle
00:28:49.540 we're just following you on Twitter.
00:28:50.780 I will continue bashing liberals
00:28:53.060 with their leftist tears
00:28:54.460 every single day on Twitter
00:28:56.100 and I'm going to make sure
00:28:57.500 I fight for the second amendment
00:28:58.460 non-stop.
00:28:59.320 You know
00:28:59.580 it's
00:28:59.840 it is a more glamorous way of life
00:29:01.700 I will say
00:29:02.200 having done it myself
00:29:03.020 it's very fun
00:29:04.180 and very important
00:29:04.980 gentlemen
00:29:05.600 so good to see you both
00:29:06.580 I look forward to seeing you guys
00:29:08.040 next time you're back in town
00:29:09.020 I've got to say goodbye to you people
00:29:11.340 before we get to the news
00:29:12.700 we have so much good news today
00:29:14.080 we
00:29:14.520 a guy
00:29:15.040 you know
00:29:15.400 Donald Trump
00:29:16.260 calls MS-13 animals
00:29:17.980 the mainstream media
00:29:19.200 defend them
00:29:19.840 they say they're not animals
00:29:20.860 and then
00:29:21.440 an MS-13 guy
00:29:22.740 is literally named animal
00:29:24.540 he gets sentenced to 40 years in jail
00:29:26.080 for murdering a 15 year old boy
00:29:27.720 we will get to that
00:29:28.540 we will get to
00:29:29.180 all of the lies about Harvey Milk
00:29:31.220 we will get to this day in history
00:29:33.020 but you got to go to dailywire.com
00:29:34.640 go there right now
00:29:35.580 why
00:29:35.880 it is $10 a month
00:29:37.060 $100 for an annual membership
00:29:38.340 you get me
00:29:39.280 you get the Andrew Klavan show
00:29:40.200 you get the Ben Shapiro show
00:29:41.240 ask questions in the mailbag
00:29:42.760 ask questions on the conversation
00:29:44.240 I don't know
00:29:44.920 I'll give you a back rub or something
00:29:46.000 I don't know what it comes with
00:29:46.840 but you get
00:29:47.660 the leftist tears tumbler
00:29:50.140 here it is
00:29:50.860 here it is folks
00:29:52.360 when that guy
00:29:53.700 you're going to have 40 years of leftist tears
00:29:55.480 as Mr. Animal from MS-13
00:29:57.600 is rotting away in prison
00:29:58.760 as we talk about the reality of Harvey Milk
00:30:00.880 go there right now
00:30:01.680 dailywire.com
00:30:02.660 we'll be right back
00:30:03.680 all right
00:30:15.680 so we've got a lot of news to get to today
00:30:18.120 really cool to talk to those guys
00:30:20.340 by the way
00:30:20.780 let's try to run through it
00:30:22.080 in the last 10 minutes
00:30:22.860 so
00:30:23.240 before we get to this day in history
00:30:25.260 in Harvey Milk
00:30:25.800 Donald Trump is a prophet
00:30:27.200 he actually is a prophet
00:30:28.820 an MS-13 gang member
00:30:30.380 nicknamed Animal
00:30:31.600 receives a 40 year prison sentence
00:30:33.480 this week
00:30:33.940 for conspiracy
00:30:34.680 to murder a 15 year old boy
00:30:36.720 Joel Martinez
00:30:37.840 admitted to prosecutors
00:30:39.520 that he murdered this boy
00:30:40.580 quote
00:30:40.900 I stabbed the culero
00:30:43.220 three times
00:30:44.360 he stared at me
00:30:45.560 and he asked me
00:30:46.320 if I was going to
00:30:47.340 if I was going to stab him
00:30:48.780 I told him
00:30:49.500 yes
00:30:49.840 the Mara rules you
00:30:51.540 Mara
00:30:52.320 for the name of his gang
00:30:54.040 killing people
00:30:55.540 is a requirement
00:30:56.600 for achieving full status
00:30:57.760 in the Massachusetts
00:30:58.820 chapter of MS-13
00:31:00.420 and the left denies this
00:31:03.100 Donald Trump attacks MS-13
00:31:04.420 the left begins to defend it
00:31:05.600 why is it
00:31:06.380 what's going on here
00:31:07.280 why does it
00:31:08.080 this seems to be the case
00:31:09.000 a lot with Trump
00:31:09.540 Trump will say something
00:31:10.660 and then it'll just happen
00:31:11.680 you say
00:31:12.380 and you saw this
00:31:13.360 throughout the 2016 campaign
00:31:14.660 you say
00:31:15.160 how does he do this
00:31:16.040 the reason
00:31:17.060 it's not because
00:31:17.680 he's Nostradamus
00:31:18.420 it's because
00:31:19.040 Donald Trump
00:31:19.680 observes reality
00:31:21.180 that's actually why
00:31:22.760 that's why he was
00:31:23.720 a good marketer
00:31:24.420 that's why he was
00:31:25.120 a good TV personality
00:31:26.360 it's why he was
00:31:26.960 good in business
00:31:27.560 he observes reality
00:31:29.380 he's a people person
00:31:30.600 so he sees what's
00:31:31.560 actually happening
00:31:32.280 the mainstream media
00:31:33.180 don't do that
00:31:33.720 the mainstream media
00:31:34.580 are caught in their own
00:31:35.400 ideological views
00:31:36.480 of the world
00:31:36.900 you see this with some
00:31:38.260 conservatives
00:31:39.340 who remain
00:31:40.200 stubbornly
00:31:41.200 anti-Trump
00:31:42.160 I think there's only
00:31:43.400 one of them left
00:31:44.240 he writes for one of those
00:31:46.160 legacy
00:31:47.100 conservative magazines
00:31:49.200 and
00:31:50.000 tweets all the time
00:31:51.460 and
00:31:52.260 but I think
00:31:53.920 most have come around
00:31:54.820 you know
00:31:55.260 some of the
00:31:55.680 really anti-Trump voices
00:31:57.040 Jonah Goldberg
00:31:58.200 I was pleased to see
00:31:58.920 said he would vote
00:31:59.520 for Donald Trump
00:32:00.260 a number of others
00:32:01.600 you know
00:32:01.840 have said
00:32:02.180 okay we'll come along
00:32:03.060 I had
00:32:03.440 Ben where the MAGA
00:32:04.180 had a long time ago
00:32:04.980 actually
00:32:05.340 he came around
00:32:05.840 a long time ago
00:32:06.520 and
00:32:07.260 but some people
00:32:08.380 are
00:32:08.600 they stick in this
00:32:10.000 despite all of the
00:32:11.140 evidence to the contrary
00:32:12.040 why is that
00:32:13.160 because they're in
00:32:13.640 an ideological world
00:32:14.800 just
00:32:15.080 just like the
00:32:15.680 mainstream media
00:32:16.260 it's just
00:32:16.620 two sides of the
00:32:17.520 same coin
00:32:18.000 but in the real world
00:32:19.660 of politics
00:32:20.200 where things are
00:32:20.840 actually happening
00:32:21.680 in real time
00:32:22.440 that
00:32:22.640 that lower C
00:32:23.860 conservatism
00:32:24.720 that's where
00:32:26.280 Donald Trump
00:32:26.740 is getting
00:32:27.100 everything right
00:32:27.880 and just because
00:32:28.800 in case you thought
00:32:30.400 that God
00:32:31.000 sometimes paints
00:32:32.120 with too subtle
00:32:32.820 a brush
00:32:33.280 a literal sinkhole
00:32:34.760 has now opened up
00:32:35.900 on the White House lawn
00:32:36.780 in the swamp
00:32:39.060 an actual sinkhole
00:32:40.240 is trying to engulf
00:32:41.700 the Trump White House
00:32:42.600 one opened up
00:32:44.140 over the weekend
00:32:45.060 a second one
00:32:46.320 opened up
00:32:47.320 next to it
00:32:47.980 got noticeably bigger
00:32:49.660 between Sunday and Monday
00:32:50.600 it's over a foot long now
00:32:51.760 I guess you could say
00:32:53.920 all nature is but art
00:32:55.180 unknown to thee
00:32:55.840 all chance direction
00:32:56.660 which thou canst not see
00:32:57.840 this is an important sign
00:33:00.140 this is a symbol
00:33:00.840 and it should remind us
00:33:01.820 of something
00:33:02.580 I don't know
00:33:03.700 how much of reality
00:33:04.920 is being reflected
00:33:05.660 by the White House lawn
00:33:06.620 but it is certainly
00:33:07.940 the case
00:33:08.480 that the swamp
00:33:10.100 of Washington DC
00:33:10.940 is trying to swallow
00:33:11.800 this president
00:33:12.400 a lot of people
00:33:13.380 took the wrong lessons
00:33:14.280 from Watergate
00:33:15.120 and we're seeing
00:33:15.760 some of that play out
00:33:16.740 again
00:33:17.120 there is a concerted
00:33:18.680 political effort
00:33:19.400 to take down
00:33:19.980 this president
00:33:20.500 they want him impeached
00:33:21.800 they want him subpoenaed
00:33:22.840 they want him prosecuted
00:33:23.880 they want him
00:33:24.900 any way
00:33:26.060 to get this guy
00:33:26.780 out of office
00:33:27.480 because they
00:33:28.500 cannot accept
00:33:29.460 the election
00:33:30.040 Democrats are known
00:33:31.100 for this
00:33:31.460 they couldn't accept
00:33:32.260 the 2000 election
00:33:33.260 they never let that go
00:33:34.560 they couldn't accept
00:33:35.400 the 2016 election
00:33:36.340 because they were so sure
00:33:37.420 they're trying to swallow
00:33:38.560 up this president
00:33:39.220 by any means necessary
00:33:40.440 it's a really dangerous thing
00:33:42.640 Republicans don't do this
00:33:44.260 when
00:33:44.960 Democrats win elections
00:33:47.480 even Barack Obama
00:33:48.480 who was so awful
00:33:49.560 he was just such a bad president
00:33:50.920 both in that
00:33:52.060 he was feckless
00:33:53.520 and undermined
00:33:54.680 American credibility
00:33:55.380 but also he was so
00:33:56.340 radically left wing
00:33:57.220 and obviously didn't like
00:33:58.700 America very much
00:33:59.580 the reason we know
00:34:00.680 that he didn't like
00:34:01.240 America very much
00:34:01.940 is he said
00:34:02.340 he wants to fundamentally
00:34:03.500 transform it
00:34:04.340 and you don't want
00:34:05.200 to fundamentally transform
00:34:06.140 things that you like
00:34:07.060 so even that guy
00:34:09.280 we didn't try to impeach him
00:34:10.420 there was never
00:34:11.940 any serious effort
00:34:12.980 on the right to impeach
00:34:13.900 Barack Obama
00:34:14.900 Congress never voted
00:34:16.300 to impeach the guy
00:34:17.140 but they're trying
00:34:18.320 to get Donald Trump
00:34:19.100 this is why
00:34:21.220 we need to rally around
00:34:22.600 and defend Donald Trump
00:34:23.860 because the sinkhole
00:34:24.960 on the White House lawn
00:34:25.880 figurative and literal
00:34:27.100 is trying to swallow him up whole
00:34:28.580 politics is a team sport
00:34:30.580 there are parties
00:34:31.740 you play for a team
00:34:33.480 and it's not frivolous
00:34:34.900 it's not some little hobby
00:34:36.300 you're on that team
00:34:37.580 because you believe
00:34:38.380 what that team is doing
00:34:39.300 you support what that team is doing
00:34:41.000 the reason that I support
00:34:42.840 Donald Trump
00:34:43.320 is not because I'm a Republican
00:34:44.620 I'm a Republican
00:34:45.720 because I believe certain things
00:34:47.140 I'm a conservative
00:34:47.780 because I have a vision
00:34:48.900 for the country
00:34:49.560 Donald Trump is the
00:34:50.980 is the captain of that team
00:34:52.180 right now
00:34:52.600 and you've got to support him
00:34:53.940 even if you don't like
00:34:54.640 the way he sips Chardonnay
00:34:56.000 even if he doesn't put his pinky
00:34:57.160 out the right way
00:34:57.880 he's the guy
00:34:58.880 he's doing the right thing
00:34:59.980 and you've got to come along
00:35:00.920 as politics is a team sport
00:35:02.300 and if you try to extract
00:35:04.120 yourself above that
00:35:05.080 or say
00:35:05.720 oh I don't
00:35:06.300 I don't want to be on this team
00:35:07.480 that isn't
00:35:09.380 that isn't how politics is done
00:35:10.840 that isn't what it is
00:35:11.980 so I
00:35:13.280 I urge everybody
00:35:15.040 to beware of the sinkhole
00:35:16.320 that is about to swallow up
00:35:17.840 the White House
00:35:18.320 finally before we get out of here
00:35:20.140 this day in history
00:35:24.400 we got to talk about Harvey Milk
00:35:25.600 did you know it's Harvey Milk Day
00:35:26.840 it's happy Harvey Milk Day
00:35:29.460 everybody
00:35:29.840 do you know that
00:35:30.540 do people even know
00:35:31.560 who Harvey Milk is
00:35:32.460 no
00:35:32.960 because they did
00:35:33.920 this all came about
00:35:35.340 because Hollywood
00:35:36.880 like it always does
00:35:38.160 made a totally dishonest film
00:35:39.780 about a left winger
00:35:41.920 and tried to make him
00:35:42.860 into a hero
00:35:43.380 and all of a sudden
00:35:44.740 there was all this
00:35:45.200 pro Harvey Milk activism
00:35:46.400 Harvey Milk
00:35:47.760 was a gay activist
00:35:48.920 in San Francisco
00:35:50.080 in the 1970s
00:35:51.140 he's the first
00:35:51.980 openly gay elected official
00:35:53.400 in California
00:35:54.200 he ran for office
00:35:55.600 four times in San Francisco
00:35:56.940 didn't win most of the time
00:35:58.800 eventually
00:35:59.160 he got onto
00:36:00.180 the San Francisco
00:36:00.860 Board of Supervisors
00:36:02.080 he only served there
00:36:03.320 for I think 11 months
00:36:04.380 before he was assassinated
00:36:05.960 not assassinated
00:36:08.660 because he was gay
00:36:09.280 by the way
00:36:09.700 assassinated
00:36:11.320 by a political opponent
00:36:13.620 basically
00:36:14.040 who assassinated
00:36:15.020 a straight guy too
00:36:15.680 they've created this
00:36:18.700 lionized character
00:36:19.980 of Harvey Milk
00:36:20.600 in recent years
00:36:21.260 there was a Sean Penn
00:36:22.120 movie made
00:36:22.780 and he was the fighter
00:36:24.860 and people were attacking him
00:36:26.580 because he was gay
00:36:27.060 they tried to bomb out
00:36:28.220 his store
00:36:29.760 and they assassinated him
00:36:30.860 because he was gay
00:36:31.280 none of that is true
00:36:32.120 there was a bomb attack
00:36:33.600 on his store
00:36:34.240 but his friends admitted
00:36:35.420 in later years
00:36:36.180 that Harvey Milk
00:36:37.300 was probably complicit
00:36:38.300 in planning that
00:36:38.980 because the campaign
00:36:39.920 wasn't doing very well
00:36:40.900 to quote them
00:36:41.540 and he needed to get
00:36:42.880 a little bit more attention
00:36:43.740 Harvey Milk moved to San Francisco
00:36:45.260 along with lots of other gay men
00:36:46.580 in the early 1970s
00:36:47.780 he was finally elected
00:36:48.820 in 1978
00:36:49.880 and
00:36:51.140 I mean
00:36:52.640 after this movie came out
00:36:54.100 the California established
00:36:55.540 Harvey Milk Day
00:36:56.240 in 2009
00:36:56.860 Barack Obama awarded him
00:36:58.160 the Presidential Medal of Freedom
00:36:59.540 that year
00:37:00.540 who's the real Harvey Milk?
00:37:02.040 well what do we know
00:37:02.560 about the guy?
00:37:03.000 we know that he was
00:37:04.480 basically a pederast cult leader
00:37:06.340 he preyed on a 16 year old runaway
00:37:08.380 named Jack Galen McKinley
00:37:10.020 the age of consent in California
00:37:11.380 by the way
00:37:11.740 is 18 years old
00:37:12.660 you thought
00:37:13.300 that the Republicans
00:37:14.840 had a problem with Roy Moore
00:37:16.100 to hear the left talk about Roy Moore
00:37:17.740 you'd think
00:37:18.780 I mean
00:37:19.100 and these were allegations
00:37:20.200 that weren't quite proven
00:37:21.540 there were discrepancies
00:37:22.420 with some of the evidence
00:37:23.740 it was in the heat
00:37:24.560 of a political campaign
00:37:25.440 we hadn't heard about this before
00:37:26.640 because Roy Moore
00:37:28.280 had a fling
00:37:29.860 with a 16 year old girl
00:37:30.980 allegedly
00:37:31.400 this guy Harvey Milk
00:37:33.180 wins the Presidential Medal of Freedom
00:37:34.520 he had an open relationship
00:37:36.200 when he was in his 30s
00:37:37.220 with a 16 year old runaway boy
00:37:38.820 but it gets worse from there
00:37:41.480 Harvey Milk was also pals
00:37:43.560 with Jim Jones
00:37:44.360 where have I heard that name before?
00:37:45.960 the guy who passed around
00:37:46.940 the Kool-Aid
00:37:47.380 killed 900 people
00:37:48.340 at the People's Temple
00:37:49.180 in Guyana
00:37:50.120 he was good friends
00:37:51.300 with Jim Jones
00:37:51.980 Harvey Milk regularly
00:37:53.740 attended the People's Temple
00:37:54.780 he defended Jim Jones
00:37:56.760 to Jimmy Carter
00:37:57.600 so there was an inquiry
00:37:58.720 into Jim Jones
00:37:59.420 because Jim Jones
00:38:00.160 abducted a 6 year old
00:38:01.240 kid in Guyana
00:38:02.420 6 year old little boy
00:38:03.380 and Harvey Milk
00:38:04.560 wrote to Jimmy Carter
00:38:05.560 and said
00:38:06.020 Jim Jones is a man
00:38:07.240 of the highest character
00:38:08.500 you've got
00:38:09.200 he slandered
00:38:10.000 the kid's own parents
00:38:11.880 who were down there
00:38:13.040 he worked together
00:38:14.120 with Jim Jones
00:38:14.880 he used them
00:38:15.800 as help for his campaign
00:38:17.040 Harvey Milk
00:38:18.940 was
00:38:19.440 he was a nobody
00:38:21.500 he was a guy
00:38:22.320 of questionable past
00:38:23.500 he
00:38:24.060 he did believe strongly
00:38:25.600 in promoting
00:38:26.780 gay political rights
00:38:27.800 and
00:38:28.620 that's all the left
00:38:29.460 needed to know
00:38:29.980 about him
00:38:30.360 to turn him
00:38:30.760 into a hero
00:38:31.280 but he wasn't
00:38:32.600 a hero
00:38:32.820 in his personal life
00:38:33.620 he was an absolute
00:38:34.520 derelict
00:38:35.100 he was the sort of guy
00:38:37.020 where if he were
00:38:37.720 a Republican
00:38:38.280 people would want
00:38:39.700 the left would want
00:38:40.260 to throw him in jail
00:38:41.020 but because he supported
00:38:42.120 gay rights
00:38:42.560 they had to create
00:38:43.060 a narrative about him
00:38:44.120 and the left
00:38:44.920 always does this
00:38:45.920 you'll see
00:38:46.280 they'll go on television
00:38:47.100 they'll say
00:38:47.640 they'll make some
00:38:49.120 outrageous claim
00:38:49.880 and then when you
00:38:50.440 point out that it
00:38:51.060 isn't true
00:38:51.460 they'll say
00:38:51.740 yeah it's not true
00:38:52.500 but it gets to
00:38:53.360 a larger truth
00:38:54.480 what
00:38:56.200 yeah no it's a lie
00:38:57.940 but the lie
00:38:58.780 but the lie you know
00:38:59.760 it's a larger truth
00:39:00.800 so how do you get to that
00:39:01.860 that's because
00:39:02.600 it's all about illusion
00:39:03.820 it's all about
00:39:05.060 look over here
00:39:05.600 it's all Hollywood
00:39:06.260 glitz and glamour
00:39:07.140 and that's what's
00:39:07.940 happened with Harvey Milk
00:39:08.780 the cartoon character
00:39:10.060 of Harvey Milk
00:39:10.800 that Sean Penn
00:39:12.520 played in that movie
00:39:13.240 has very little
00:39:14.380 if anything to do
00:39:15.280 with Harvey Milk himself
00:39:16.300 you're seeing this happen
00:39:17.480 in the mainstream media
00:39:18.240 every single day
00:39:19.080 so the mainstream media
00:39:20.760 they say Donald Trump
00:39:22.120 has never been more unpopular
00:39:23.420 it's over
00:39:24.020 he colluded with Russia
00:39:24.900 he did this to a porn story
00:39:26.860 blah blah blah blah blah
00:39:27.840 all of this noise
00:39:28.700 right
00:39:28.940 and yet we look at the polling
00:39:30.000 Trump is still quite popular
00:39:31.360 more popular
00:39:32.260 or as popular
00:39:33.020 as Barack Obama
00:39:33.880 on the relative days
00:39:35.120 of their presidency
00:39:35.900 the economy is doing well
00:39:37.520 electoral chances
00:39:39.120 are looking good
00:39:39.780 I don't want to jinx it
00:39:40.660 but maybe tomorrow
00:39:41.380 we'll go into some of the data
00:39:42.520 on those races
00:39:43.220 things
00:39:44.080 in reality
00:39:46.120 when you talk to people
00:39:46.980 in reality
00:39:47.400 are looking pretty good
00:39:48.180 don't be fooled
00:39:48.980 by the left wing illusion
00:39:49.900 don't be fooled
00:39:50.480 by Harvey Milk Day
00:39:51.480 don't be fooled
00:39:52.320 by Hollywood
00:39:53.180 don't be fooled
00:39:54.140 by the New York Times
00:39:55.480 or CNN
00:39:56.020 or the Washington Post
00:39:57.020 take a look around reality
00:39:58.600 because when people
00:39:59.180 look at reality
00:40:00.020 they're able to predict
00:40:01.600 the future
00:40:02.000 they're able to do
00:40:02.560 very well
00:40:03.240 they're able to see
00:40:05.000 kind of what's in the air
00:40:06.060 what's going on
00:40:06.800 and we've seen that
00:40:07.840 with the Donald Trump movement
00:40:08.800 it's an important
00:40:09.340 political lesson
00:40:10.020 to gather from
00:40:11.020 President Covfefe
00:40:12.020 we'll have much more
00:40:12.940 Covfefe tomorrow
00:40:14.120 in the meantime
