Summary

00:02:32.820 President Trump is threatening to blow up Gaza if Hamas does not return the hostages.
00:02:40.700 This, obviously, a couple months before President Trump is due to reenter office.
00:02:47.040 So he's just setting the stage.
00:02:48.780 He writes, quote,
00:02:50.260 Everybody is talking about the hostages who are being held so violently, inhumanely, and against the will of the entire world in the Middle East.
00:02:56.000 But it's all talk and no action.
00:02:57.700 Please see this truth.
00:02:59.320 Please let this truth serve to represent that if the hostages are not released prior to January 20th, 2025,
00:03:05.860 the date that I proudly assume office as President of the United States, there will be, now this is in all caps,
00:03:12.780 all hell to pay, back to normal font in the Middle East,
00:03:16.800 and for those in charge who perpetrated those atrocities against humanity.
00:03:20.540 Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied history of the United States of America.
00:03:26.580 Back to all cops.
00:03:28.240 Release the hostages now.
00:03:29.940 No cap, no cap, no cap, for real, for real.
00:03:33.960 If you're Hamas, you are thinking, maybe he's bluffing.
00:03:39.340 Certainly, just like when President Trump threatened to blow up Moscow if Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine.
00:03:45.520 And you're Vladimir Putin, you've got to be thinking, look, maybe, probably he's bluffing.
00:03:49.960 Just like Kim Jong-un thought when President Trump threatened to nuke his country,
00:03:55.860 look, he's, maybe, he's probably bluffing.
00:03:58.400 But the question with Trump is, can you really take the chance?
00:04:04.640 Can you take the chance?
00:04:06.120 Trump's a dove, isn't he?
00:04:07.600 He ran against war.
00:04:09.360 Now, multiple times, three times for president, he's run against war.
00:04:13.700 He said he wants to pull troops home.
00:04:15.860 He thinks some American belligerence has been misguided.
00:04:19.460 But then, he's hosting Xi Jinping at Mar-a-Lago, and just before he goes down to have dinner with the leader of China, Chairman Xi,
00:04:31.020 he launches 59 cruise missiles, rains them down on Syria.
00:04:35.800 Then he goes down and eats his steak tartare with Xi, or whatever they dined on that evening.
00:04:39.700 And he sent a message that sometimes he's not bluffing.
00:04:43.340 Sometimes it's not just all talk.
00:04:46.480 Trump wants to pull troops out of war zones.
00:04:50.360 Trump wants to focus on America, make America great again.
00:04:53.300 And then he drops the mother of all bombs on Afghanistan.
00:04:56.740 Trump wants to make nice.
00:04:58.900 He becomes friends with Kim Jong-un in Korea.
00:05:01.920 They just want to get along.
00:05:03.060 And then he assassinates the top Iranian general.
00:05:06.560 And you just don't know.
00:05:08.420 So, if you're Hamas, how could you possibly call this guy's bluff?
00:05:15.240 They're crazy.
00:05:16.160 Some of them are real crazy out there in Hamas.
00:05:18.420 Hard for me to imagine that they don't release the hostages.
00:05:22.980 This is it.
00:05:23.800 This is one of the least discussed but greatest strengths of the Trump presidency,
00:05:29.600 is the sheer unpredictability of it.
00:05:32.080 Trump is the kind of guy who, on the one hand, is going to appoint Tulsi Gabbard to top positions.
00:05:37.420 Tulsi Gabbard, who is vehemently, vociferously against war.
00:05:42.240 And he's also going to appoint John Bolton to positions sometimes,
00:05:45.720 who has wanted to bomb Iran every single day for the past 50 years.
00:05:53.000 And you just don't know.
00:05:54.480 Who are you going to get?
00:05:55.500 Yet, if you are in a negotiation, that inability to be read, that poker face, is invaluable.
00:06:04.540 And we know the Biden policy on Hamas and in the Middle East has been a total failure.
00:06:09.520 It's the reason that Hamas launched the October 7th attack in the first place,
00:06:13.280 was because of Joe Biden's weakness.
00:06:15.340 So, Biden's not going to get the hostages out.
00:06:18.340 Trump might be able to get him out with a true social post.
00:06:21.680 Now, speaking of foreign affairs, Tom Homan, who is President Trump's soon-to-be border czar,
00:06:26.740 has just made a really important point on how he's going to close up the border,
00:06:31.180 how he's going to deal with this mass migration issue.
00:06:35.180 Thus far, people have just talked about deporting the illegal aliens themselves.
00:06:39.600 They've talked about how we're going to go after Trendy Aragua and MS-13
00:06:44.820 and the particular individuals who've crossed the border illegally and get them out of here.
00:06:48.740 But that's not the whole story.
00:06:51.660 Tom Homan says, the only way you're going to really solve the problem is if you hold states,
00:06:56.600 like Mexico, like Venezuela, like the places that are sending us foreign nationals,
00:07:02.180 if you hold the states and the non-government organizations responsible.
00:07:06.520 The Trump team come to town.
00:07:10.540 We're going to take control January 20th, and people are going to be held accountable.
00:07:13.740 We're going to be very transparent.
00:07:15.140 We're going to get behind.
00:07:16.380 What does the United Nations have to do with this open border crisis?
00:07:19.720 Who in the administration, the Biden administration,
00:07:22.440 opened the doors on this humanitarian crisis?
00:07:24.900 What NGOs were involved in this?
00:07:26.540 We're going to be very transparent to American people,
00:07:28.620 and we're going to tell them the truth of what happened on this border.
00:07:30.780 Again, by design, and we're going to let the American people know who was involved,
00:07:34.500 why, and hold them accountable.
00:07:36.900 This is key.
00:07:38.960 Mass migration is not just a personal issue.
00:07:42.220 It's not just individual by individual by individual.
00:07:44.840 It's a political issue.
00:07:47.380 It's states.
00:07:48.620 It's international organizations like the UN.
00:07:51.740 It's non-governmental organizations.
00:07:55.960 This is one of the big errors that we make in liberal modernity,
00:07:59.820 is we make everything about the individual.
00:08:01.980 The left and the right both do it.
00:08:03.520 The left does it by constantly seeking to maximize individual autonomy
00:08:08.080 and to tell individuals that they can be whatever they want to be.
00:08:12.380 Absent a country, you're not a citizen of a country.
00:08:14.740 You're a citizen of the world.
00:08:16.100 Absent a family, you have no obligations to your family.
00:08:19.260 You're a radical individual.
00:08:20.300 If they're not serving your particular whims and desires, get rid of your family.
00:08:25.220 Don't show up to Thanksgiving.
00:08:27.720 The individual autonomy to the point that you say,
00:08:30.980 hey, you don't like your sex?
00:08:32.060 Well, be the other sex.
00:08:33.060 Doesn't whatever you want.
00:08:33.780 All about the individual.
00:08:35.420 But the right wing does it too sometimes.
00:08:38.420 When they say, forget about the common good, that's a dirty phrase.
00:08:41.040 Forget about the community.
00:08:42.320 You sound like a commie if you ever talk about the community.
00:08:45.300 Don't think about your obligations to the people around you or to your country.
00:08:48.660 Just go out there, make money for yourself, spend your money how you want to see it.
00:08:52.820 Don't even leave money to your kids.
00:08:54.280 Just make it all about you, you, you.
00:08:57.020 Individualism, radical individualism, is one of the pathologies of modernity.
00:09:01.680 And pretty much no one is immune to it.
00:09:04.160 But you don't solve political problems at the individual level.
00:09:08.120 Or I should say, you don't only solve political problems at the individual level.
00:09:11.300 You need individuals to grow in virtue and holiness.
00:09:14.560 And you need them to better themselves, certainly.
00:09:17.580 But even that is a process that involves other people.
00:09:20.940 You need teachers to educate them.
00:09:23.080 You need families to be their first source of education, to really form the person.
00:09:27.320 You need just communities to have laws that inform their conscience.
00:09:34.440 You need politics.
00:09:37.040 You need a lot of people.
00:09:38.300 We are not, as the liberals say, purely individuals.
00:09:41.580 We are the social creature.
00:09:44.440 We're a coupling creature.
00:09:45.460 We're the political animal.
00:09:46.680 And so you need political solutions.
00:09:48.320 You're not going to solve the border crisis by deporting a number of face-tattooed Satan-worshipping individuals.
00:09:54.160 You're going to solve the border crisis by getting down to what Kamala Harris was supposed to do.
00:09:59.420 The root causes.
00:10:00.340 And the root causes are political.
00:10:02.120 States, laws, non-government organizations, some who push their radical open borders policies, even, to my mind, with some sacrilege, under the banner of Catholicism.
00:10:16.040 They insist that it somehow comes from the deep wells of Christianity, from Catholic social teaching, that people are not allowed to have borders, and immigration laws can't be enforced, and we have to allow poison and murderers and rapists and criminals to cross our border.
00:10:30.600 But you've got to find out what those organizations are, and you need to make sure that they get in line, and they respect the rule of law, and they respect the civil authority, especially when the civil authority is acting in a just way.
00:10:40.200 Speaking of the southern border, Border Patrol in Texas has just encountered a 10-year-old Salvadoran kid who was totally left alone by his parents, by his family, and by the cartels who were smuggling him across.
00:10:54.000 Here's the interaction.
00:10:54.700 Buenos dias, mijo.
00:10:58.520 Como estas?
00:10:59.840 How are you?
00:11:01.100 Huh?
00:11:02.320 Que paso, mijo?
00:11:03.040 Little kid says, good.
00:11:04.000 What's wrong?
00:11:04.420 You okay?
00:11:05.360 They left me alone.
00:11:07.220 They left you alone?
00:11:07.980 Okay.
00:11:09.700 They don't want to guide me.
00:11:11.040 Who's that?
00:11:11.520 Probably the cartels.
00:11:12.600 Did you come by yourself?
00:11:13.700 Yes.
00:11:13.900 How old are you?
00:11:15.160 Look at this poor little kid.
00:11:15.920 He's 10 years old.
00:11:16.860 10 years old.
00:11:18.120 By yourself?
00:11:18.760 Yes.
00:11:19.400 Your mom and dad?
00:11:22.420 My mom's in the United States.
00:11:23.820 He's rightly distressed.
00:11:27.620 Which part of Mexico are you from?
00:11:28.980 El Salvador.
00:11:32.980 How old are you?
00:11:33.880 He wants to get this back.
00:11:34.840 How old are you?
00:11:35.240 10.
00:11:36.940 The guide left you alone?
00:11:39.520 The guide, obviously, is a criminal employed by the people who control the border.
00:11:42.720 Are you lost?
00:11:43.820 Yes, he says.
00:11:46.960 Well, you're in the United States.
00:11:49.860 I'll call Border Patrol.
00:11:51.400 They can pick you up.
00:11:52.800 Okay.
00:11:53.820 I don't care how much of an immigration hawk you are.
00:11:57.480 You see a little kid like that, your heart just breaks.
00:12:01.440 Some little 10-year-old kid left alone, abandoned by his degenerate mother and who knows where
00:12:07.200 the father is, abandoned by the definitionally degenerate cartels, abandoned by his government,
00:12:15.760 and abandoned by our government.
00:12:18.020 I don't care that that guy says, hey, don't worry, I'll call Border Patrol.
00:12:21.580 They'll come pick you up.
00:12:22.380 I'm talking about a much deeper abandonment.
00:12:27.760 Our government, led by Democrats and some squish Republicans, has encouraged that situation.
00:12:35.260 Our government, the United States government, by refusing to enforce the laws because the Democrats are in charge,
00:12:41.920 has encouraged that little kid to be left alone in another country, a 10-year-old kid on the verge of tears, obviously in distress,
00:12:52.260 has encouraged that kid's mother to just let him cross the border with the help of criminals,
00:12:56.760 has encouraged the criminal cartels to control the border.
00:13:01.960 Democrats are responsible for this.
00:13:03.820 This is a reminder.
00:13:07.260 The chief victim of the open border is the American people.
00:13:12.640 But there are other victims.
00:13:15.040 Fusion and Amnesty International put together a survey.
00:13:18.140 This was some years ago now.
00:13:19.160 It was reported in the Huffington Post that 60 to 80 percent of women and girls who cross the border illegally are sexually assaulted on the journey.
00:13:26.080 That is totally avoidable.
00:13:28.200 It's totally avoidable if the Democrats just do their basic job and enforce the law.
00:13:32.480 But they won't do that.
00:13:34.180 They won't do that because they've made a cynical calculation that if they just import millions and millions of foreigners,
00:13:40.000 it will give them a permanent electoral majority.
00:13:41.920 A dubious proposition now that Trump is winning almost half of the Hispanic vote, but that's a separate point.
00:13:47.480 Democrats are intentionally subjecting girls to rape and 10-year-old kids from El Salvador to be left alone in the middle of the desert.
00:13:55.280 They're intentionally doing that because they believe that the good end for them of constantly being elected justifies the evil means of giving criminals control of our southern border
00:14:08.600 and having some kids be lost in the desert and having some women be raped.
00:14:12.420 That is the calculation they're making.
00:14:13.820 There's no question that it's happening.
00:14:15.560 The Democrats will tell you.
00:14:16.680 They'll look at this.
00:14:17.160 They'll say, how can you awful Republicans look at this poor little boy and not want a totally open border?
00:14:23.940 No, I draw the opposite conclusion.
00:14:25.760 I look at that poor little boy and I say, you need to close that border up right now because every second that that border is open,
00:14:31.200 another one of those little kids is going to be encouraged to come across.
00:14:33.580 And that's very, very evil to do that.
00:14:36.780 And the Democrats know what they're doing.
00:14:38.900 Maybe not the people on the ground.
00:14:40.400 They keep their head in the sand.
00:14:41.500 But the people who are actually implementing these policies, they know exactly what they're doing.
00:14:45.200 And they're willing to sacrifice a few little Salvadoran kids, a few thousand little Salvadoran kids if it means they're going to get more votes.
00:14:52.440 Takes some broken eggs to make an omelet, apparently.
00:14:56.120 There's so much more to say.
00:14:57.240 First, though, go to publicrec.com.
00:15:00.060 Use code Knowles.

00:15:59.800 Give yourself or someone you love the gift of comfort this Christmas.
00:16:03.820 Speaking of kids, NBC has a doozy of a headline out yesterday.
00:16:09.820 Headline, gay couples rush to marry and have children before Trump inauguration.
00:16:17.240 Some wedding venues, photographers, and planners are offering free services to same-sex couples before Inauguration Day.
00:16:27.400 I don't know where the fact checkers are on this, but they're going to have to make some corrections to this headline.
00:16:33.560 If gay couples are rushing to marry and have children, good luck, because that is not possible.
00:16:43.180 You can't do that.
00:16:45.200 Try as you might.
00:16:47.600 Two fellas or two ladies cannot make a child together.
00:16:53.600 And because they cannot, in principle, make a child together, they also can't marry each other.
00:16:58.860 They can get married.
00:16:59.920 Gay people, such as they are, can get married, just as they've always been permitted to get married.
00:17:06.480 But marriage involves a man and a woman.
00:17:11.900 And marriage is defined by the fact that within a marriage, in principle, one can beget and educate children.
00:17:18.720 And as a secondary matter, enjoy the mutual support of the spouses.
00:17:22.720 That's just what marriage is.
00:17:24.540 This is one of the more Orwellian headlines that I've read in recent years.
00:17:29.920 Though they seem to crop up every single day.
00:17:34.080 The thing that these people are rushing to do is not possible.
00:17:39.000 It is an ontological absurdity.
00:17:42.560 And it's not just the mean old conservatives.
00:17:44.860 I know there's going to be some lib out there who clips out this segment of my show, which is fine.
00:17:49.360 They often clip out the best segments of my show.
00:17:50.940 And there's important facts and reality in this.
00:17:55.000 Many people are going to look at the mean old conservative and say, you are telling us that we can't have children.
00:18:01.880 I'm not the one telling you you can't have children.
00:18:04.840 Reality is telling you you can't have children.
00:18:06.720 It is not possible for two men to have a child together.
00:18:08.540 I suppose what you could do is go to the baby store and look through a catalog and pick a poor woman and purchase her eggs.
00:18:16.720 And then look through another catalog and pick another poor woman, sometimes overseas, and rent her womb from her.
00:18:22.700 And then you can pay some unethical scientist to go to a laboratory and create a child for you, probably create many children for you, and then kill most of those children, and then implant one or two of the children, and then select exactly what kind of child you like.
00:18:37.320 And then if it works, you get to purchase your baby and take your baby home and intentionally deprive your baby of his natural mother and his surrogate mother, the only mother he's ever known.
00:18:46.800 And then you could do all of that, but it's still not two people having, two guys having a baby.
00:18:53.700 It's still not two ladies having a baby either.
00:18:56.040 It's not possible.
00:18:58.420 Furthermore, I think many people will agree with that fact because it's difficult to deny.
00:19:02.840 But there are going to be some people out there, squishier people, who say, okay, Michael, two fellas can't have a baby, but they certainly can get married.
00:19:09.740 Again, no, they can't.
00:19:11.840 Matt has his movie, What is a Woman?
00:19:13.320 Maybe we need to do a movie, What is Marriage?
00:19:14.880 I'm not being the mean conservative here.
00:19:18.080 It's not that I have any particular animus toward homosexuals or anything like that.
00:19:21.460 I'm from New York.
00:19:22.180 I lived in LA.
00:19:22.820 I went to the gayest university in the world.
00:19:24.420 I have no particular animus toward people who are so inclined.
00:19:29.520 But what definition of marriage involves two men or two women as well as a man and a woman?
00:19:40.440 What's your definition?
00:19:42.320 Is the definition two people who love each other?
00:19:44.380 I love my best friend.
00:19:46.160 I love my co-workers.
00:19:47.800 I love my cousins.
00:19:49.800 Are we married?
00:19:51.280 No, we're not married.
00:19:52.120 Okay, it's two people who love each other and sleep together.
00:19:55.400 Okay, well, I know a bunch of kids in college who engage in those sorts of behaviors.
00:20:01.460 Are all those kids in college, are they married?
00:20:03.980 Sometimes people are loving and sleeping with multiple people at the same time.
00:20:08.520 Are they all married together?
00:20:09.720 Or are they just in individual marriages that overlap?
00:20:11.780 Are they, no, you wouldn't say they're married.
00:20:14.600 And by the way, they're married couples who don't sleep together.
00:20:16.660 Maybe they should, but that's another story.
00:20:19.800 What's the definition?
00:20:20.840 Can anyone offer me a definition of marriage that includes what we've always considered marriage to be,
00:20:29.500 as well as two men and two women?
00:20:33.460 Can anyone offer me a definition of marriage that does not render the term marriage totally meaningless because it overlaps with so many other kinds of relationships?
00:20:42.480 The answer is no.
00:20:44.880 It is not possible for homosexual men to marry each other or homosexual women to marry each other or three ladies and a billy goat to get married.
00:20:53.020 That's not possible.
00:20:54.440 And it's not my fault that it's not possible.
00:20:57.880 It's just a fact.
00:20:59.500 And people today who live in fantasy want to shoot the messenger, the messenger who just tells them facts about the world.
00:21:09.260 It is certainly not possible for two fellas to make a baby together.
00:21:14.080 That's not how babies work.
00:21:15.580 So when they say they're rushing to do this because you might be upset at the mean old conservative telling you the truth.
00:21:22.860 Here, they're upset at the mean old conservative Donald Trump, who they think is going to touch so-called same-sex marriage or IVF or the surrogacy industry or whatever.
00:21:33.520 There's no evidence that he's going to touch any of that.
00:21:35.340 There's a lot of evidence to the contrary.
00:21:36.860 I sort of wish he would touch that issue because it's an important one.
00:21:40.620 I don't think he will.
00:21:41.480 But they're saying we have to do X, Y, Z before Trump bans X, Y, Z.
00:21:48.560 Trump is not threatening to ban X, Y, Z.
00:21:50.380 And the problem with X, Y, Z is that it's not possible.
00:21:53.960 That's it.
00:21:54.980 If you have a problem with reality, don't take it up with me.
00:21:58.100 I didn't make reality.
00:21:59.100 I'm just describing it to you in a way that statistically every single person in the history of the world everywhere has understood until five seconds ago when we in the deluded West decided to live in fantasy.
00:22:12.040 We've got to talk about these things.
00:22:14.000 There's so much more to say.

00:23:14.160 Go to Pure Talk, my wireless company, Pure Talk, America's wireless company.
00:23:19.900 Speaking of kids and presidential politics, Joe Biden is pardoning Hunter Biden.
00:23:26.680 Everyone knew this was going to happen.
00:23:28.540 There's absolutely no surprise here whatsoever.
00:23:30.860 However, it doesn't mean that the fallout among Democrats hasn't been delightful.
00:23:36.140 A lot of the Democrats are losing their minds because it has totally stolen from them one of their chief attacks against Donald Trump,
00:23:42.420 which is that he's nepotistic and that he believes that he and his family are above the law.
00:23:48.000 Joe Biden has just totally ripped that issue off the table for Democrats, and it's also left them with a lot of egg on their face.
00:23:53.200 People like Adam Schiff, who in 2018 had this to say specifically about the possibility that President Trump would pardon his own son, Don Jr., in the probe over Russia, Russia, Russia.
00:24:08.760 So the president's pardon of Scooter Libby, Congressman, has inspired you to propose new legislation.
00:24:13.920 What exactly would it do?
00:24:14.860 What it would do is say that in the event the president pardons anyone in an investigation in which the president is a witness, a subject, or the target,
00:24:25.580 those investigative files will all be turned over to the Congress.
00:24:29.200 The Congress ought to know whether the president is using the pardon power to obstruct justice.
00:24:35.220 The American people have a right to know.
00:24:37.400 I think it is clearly constitutional.
00:24:39.460 It doesn't prohibit him from granting a pardon, even a pardon he shouldn't grant.
00:24:43.700 But it does say that we will be able to at least find out whether the president is using this power to shield himself from liability.
00:24:52.540 It offers transparency at the very least.
00:24:55.040 Absolutely.
00:24:55.800 Thank you, Congressman.
00:24:56.540 I appreciate your time.
00:24:57.740 Thanks, Don.
00:24:58.200 Thank you.
00:24:58.620 Thank you so much.
00:24:59.780 Yeah.
00:25:00.460 Yeah.
00:25:00.960 Lol.
00:25:01.820 Here we go.
00:25:02.800 What was the fear?
00:25:03.380 That was 2018.
00:25:04.540 The fear was there was an investigation into Russian collusion,
00:25:08.480 and Don Jr. was being accused of colluding with the Russians,
00:25:12.440 and if Trump pardoned Don Jr.,
00:25:14.620 it might be a way to obstruct justice because it was going to stop them from getting to the big guy.
00:25:18.600 The big guy.
00:25:19.080 Wait, where have I heard that phrase before?
00:25:20.400 Oh, right.
00:25:23.280 I heard that phrase on Hunter Biden's laptop because if Joe Biden pardons Hunter Biden for any crime that he did or may have
00:25:30.300 or possibly could have in his own mind committed from 2014 until yesterday,
00:25:34.140 then that might be a way not only of protecting his son but of stopping investigators from looking into who his son was sending the money to,
00:25:44.080 which according to Hunter Biden's laptop was 10% up to 50% to the big guy Joe Biden himself.
00:25:49.840 Democrats just look like complete hypocrites,
00:25:55.680 and this is a deepening of a problem that we saw for Democrats in the latter stages of the 2024 campaign.
00:26:04.700 They just looked ridiculous.
00:26:07.480 They looked so hypocritical.
00:26:09.480 They said Donald Trump's a threat to democracy,
00:26:11.660 and then they threw out their democratically chosen nominee for their party.
00:26:16.460 They said that Joe Biden was sharp as ever, totally fit to serve,
00:26:21.400 and then oopsie, they got caught lying because Joe Biden obviously had dementia.
00:26:26.580 Then they installed this woman, Kamala Harris.
00:26:29.640 Nobody wanted her.
00:26:32.120 They accused Trump of manipulating the media to be some propaganda machine for him.
00:26:39.260 Meanwhile, their big networks get caught chopping up interviews with Kamala Harris to make her look better.
00:26:44.440 They just looked so crooked and hypocritical.
00:26:49.240 And then finally, the line they had was, no one's above the law.
00:26:51.900 That's what Joe Biden tweeted out.
00:26:54.000 And now Joe Biden pardons his own son.
00:26:57.180 He did the thing that the Democrats falsely accused Trump of possibly doing in 2018.
00:27:03.520 Once again, the Democrat accusations appearing to be nothing more than a confession, a projection.
00:27:10.300 Really beautiful.
00:27:10.920 One last note on Hunter.
00:27:13.980 CNN has this final warning to Joe Biden, which is that this Hunter Biden pardon will tarnish Joe's legacy.
00:27:23.120 This pardon will tarnish Joe Biden's legacy.
00:27:26.280 I mean, Joe Biden, let's be clear here.
00:27:28.240 He lied to us for a long time.
00:27:29.920 He said categorically, I will not pardon my son.
00:27:33.400 He said, I will take it off the table.
00:27:34.980 And he couched it in very high-minded terminology.
00:27:37.960 I respect the Justice Department.
00:27:39.420 I respect the jury's verdict.
00:27:40.920 Well, now he's gone back on that.
00:27:42.260 But as to whether this tarnishes the justice system, I don't think I would go that far.
00:27:46.840 I think this, like I said, will go down on the list of ignominious presidential pardons.
00:27:52.420 Okay.
00:27:54.040 Two points here.
00:27:55.160 On the Justice Department was the last point.
00:27:57.080 The first point was on Joe Biden's legacy.
00:27:58.660 I have one question.
00:27:59.880 What's Joe Biden's legacy?
00:28:00.980 What is Joe Biden's legacy that is now supposedly tarnished?
00:28:06.040 I don't like Joe Biden.
00:28:07.640 I don't like the Democrat Party.
00:28:09.180 I don't like what they've done.
00:28:11.080 But let's just try to be nonpartisan for a moment.
00:28:14.480 Let's even pretend that we're Democrats.
00:28:17.120 Many Democrats listen to this show.
00:28:18.640 Let me ask you, Democrats listening to this show.
00:28:21.280 What is Biden's legacy?
00:28:24.200 What did he do?
00:28:25.280 He was in the Senate for almost 50 years.
00:28:29.220 Well, he was in the Senate, and then he became the vice president, and then he was the president
00:28:32.180 for over 50 years of that whole period of time.
00:28:35.180 He entered the Senate in, what, 1972, before he was old enough, even constitutionally, to be eligible.
00:28:40.600 What did he do?
00:28:41.680 What's his legacy?
00:28:44.340 He led a high-tech lynching of Clarence Thomas.
00:28:47.280 I don't think he wants that one in the old obituary.
00:28:51.200 He passed a pretty good crime bill, actually, which he totally ran away from, but it was
00:28:56.860 the one good thing he ever did, probably, in the U.S. Senate.
00:29:00.140 But he had to run away from that because the Democrats are soft on crime.
00:29:04.080 He did what?
00:29:05.600 He said he was going to cure cancer.
00:29:06.820 I'm still waiting on that one.
00:29:07.940 He forced Ukraine, he bribed Ukraine, and threatened them with much-needed arms, withholding much-needed
00:29:18.500 arms, to stop prosecuting his son.
00:29:20.720 And then he took, his family took bribes from Ukraine.
00:29:23.740 He, what do you do?
00:29:26.260 He doesn't have a legacy.
00:29:28.120 His legacy is being a simpering, glad-handing, oily, venal, corrupt politician.
00:29:34.660 That's his legacy.
00:29:36.500 There's one piece of his legacy that Democrats might look fondly on, which is that Joe Biden
00:29:43.600 is the only guy who beat Trump.
00:29:46.500 Joe Biden, he's the guy who stopped Donald Trump.
00:29:49.900 But then the Democrat Party took that away from him because they took his nomination
00:29:56.500 away from him.
00:29:57.320 They wouldn't let him run for president again.
00:29:59.260 So then Trump came back.
00:30:00.380 So he doesn't even really get all the great credit for stopping Trump because Trump just
00:30:04.580 came right back.
00:30:05.140 That's why Joe Biden, when they met at the Oval Office, he said, well, welcome back.
00:30:08.420 Okay, I guess I was the brief interlude.
00:30:10.920 And here we go for the second Trump term.
00:30:14.620 So he has no legacy.
00:30:16.880 What does he care?
00:30:18.620 Oh, no, he's going to look corrupt and dishonest?
00:30:21.160 Yeah, that's more of the same.
00:30:24.080 Now, the CNN guy is trying to defend the DOJ.
00:30:26.060 He says, now, does the DOJ look bad here?
00:30:27.620 No, Biden looks really bad, but not the DOJ.
00:30:29.580 The DOJ already looks bad because the DOJ, one, didn't want to prosecute Hunter Biden
00:30:35.140 for anything.
00:30:35.600 The DOJ run by Merrick Garland, who has effectively been a gangster under Joe Biden's leadership,
00:30:44.100 they didn't want to go after Hunter Biden for anything.
00:30:45.780 Finally, there was enough pressure from Congress that they went after Hunter Biden for extremely
00:30:50.600 low-level crimes, some tax issues, and filling out a gun purchase form incorrectly.
00:30:57.180 They didn't go after him for the serious crimes that he would appear to be guilty of, the sex
00:31:01.580 trafficking that you see on his laptop, the bribes, the peddling state influence to bad
00:31:09.400 foreign actors, the 10% to the big guy.
00:31:11.700 They didn't go after any of that stuff.
00:31:13.660 So, frankly, the DOJ, the corrupt liberal DOJ under Joe Biden, under Merrick Garland,
00:31:19.040 looks terrible, much worse than Joe Biden himself, and Joe looks as bad as he's always
00:31:23.340 looked.
00:31:23.700 Okay, so what?
00:31:26.180 Now, does this mean that everyone gets off the hook?
00:31:30.520 Hunter gets off the hook.
00:31:31.900 They're not going to really investigate him.
00:31:34.380 Joe Biden probably gets off the hook.
00:31:36.020 There's this theory now that because Hunter accepted the pardon, he now has no Fifth Amendment
00:31:41.040 right against self-incrimination, meaning that the Republicans could force him to testify
00:31:46.020 and maybe flip on Joe Biden.
00:31:49.940 Yeah, sure, maybe.
00:31:51.960 They're not going to do that.
00:31:53.080 They're not going to.
00:31:53.560 I'm just telling you right now, they're not going to do that.
00:31:55.840 They don't care.
00:31:56.640 Joe Biden probably voted for Trump anyway.
00:31:58.280 So, they're just not, they're not going to, Trump's not going to look back.
00:32:00.500 He's got other things that he's doing.
00:32:01.720 It's just not going to happen.
00:32:02.540 You might want it to happen.
00:32:03.480 It's not going to happen.
00:32:05.780 So, does that mean no one is held accountable?
00:32:07.880 Well, some Republicans are calling for repercussions for Jack Smith, that special counsel who was
00:32:14.860 trying to imprison President Trump.
00:32:18.320 Some people are calling for repercussions within the DOJ.
00:32:22.160 These guys who upended 200 years of American precedent and tried to imprison the chief leader
00:32:27.300 of the opposition and the former president himself.
00:32:31.080 And that, I think, is a really good idea.
00:32:33.580 Good piece in the Daily Caller on this.
00:32:35.460 It came out a few days ago.
00:32:36.600 It's worth reading.
00:32:37.440 Jack Smith could face severe consequences for year-long legal crusade against Trump.
00:32:41.500 I think that needs to happen because what Jack Smith and the January 6th Committee and the
00:32:50.260 Biden-DOJ broadly have done amounts to a legal insurrection.
00:32:54.840 Trying to imprison the leader of the opposition in America, trying to imprison former presidents in
00:33:01.280 America, that is a shocking sort of legal insurrection, an upending of our political
00:33:08.600 order that reduces, debases our country to the level of a banana republic or a tinpot
00:33:13.500 dictatorship.
00:33:15.160 That kind of legal insurrection that Joe Biden led, but that you really saw coming out of the
00:33:20.580 DOJ under Merrick Garland's leadership, notably with the face of Jack Smith.
00:33:24.840 Is orders of magnitude more threatening to our constitutional order than some eccentrics
00:33:30.040 in the Capitol, cracking Coors Light and taking selfies and wearing horn hats, getting a private
00:33:34.120 guided tour by Capitol Police?
00:33:35.720 Orders of magnitude.
00:33:36.740 It's really not even comparable, okay?
00:33:39.440 And so there do need to be consequences for that.
00:33:41.860 Some people are going to say, end the lawfare.
00:33:44.200 Let's let bygones be bygones.
00:33:46.440 I want to end the lawfare, too.
00:33:47.780 I really want to end the lawfare.
00:33:49.000 I think it's disgusting.
00:33:50.200 And I think it debases our country.
00:33:51.640 But you can't unilaterally decide to end a war.
00:33:57.880 Would that it were so simple?
00:33:59.220 I happily would.
00:34:00.800 But they're not going to do that.
00:34:02.040 Had Kamala Harris won, the Democrats would have done their damnedest to imprison President
00:34:08.640 Trump.
00:34:09.100 There's no question about it.
00:34:10.460 And the January 6th, there's including the really, really peaceful ones who did basically
00:34:13.940 nothing wrong.
00:34:14.360 They would rot in jail.
00:34:15.900 The only way to end the lawfare is to let our opponents know that they can't get away
00:34:20.940 with it scot-free.
00:34:22.780 You need a little tough love.
00:34:24.120 You need a little justice.
00:34:26.780 I'm all for mercy.
00:34:28.380 I'm all for the pardon power.
00:34:29.900 In fact, I'm a strong defender of the pardon power.
00:34:32.480 But we also need justice.
00:34:35.580 And we need everyone in America to know that there will be consequences to upending our political
00:34:41.640 order.
00:34:41.880 It is unjust to say nothing of how imprudent it is to let the Democrats just get away with
00:34:49.880 this scot-free.
00:34:50.600 Because if they do that, then the minute that they get back in power, they'll probably try
00:34:54.380 to throw Trump in prison then.
00:34:56.120 They'll either make up some new nonsense or they'll try to put him in prison for whatever
00:34:59.520 he jaywalked in Manhattan in 1982.
00:35:02.100 But they're going to keep it up.
00:35:03.320 To protect our constitutional order, you've got to hold the Biden DOJ accountable.
00:35:08.460 Whether we're talking civil penalties, whether we're talking criminal penalties, you
00:35:11.780 have to hold—at the very least, they need to be fired and probably kept out of the legal
00:35:15.780 profession.
00:35:16.340 But you have to hold them in some way accountable.

00:35:51.940 My favorite comment yesterday from Raider Batman said,
00:35:56.000 It finally happened.
00:35:57.480 It took me a few years to see, but Michael finally dropped his cup.
00:36:01.120 It was always a liability.
00:36:04.340 It was always a danger.
00:36:05.200 Because I am, on my mother's side of the family, of Italian extraction.
00:36:11.680 And so when I speak, I use my hands.
00:36:14.740 And now, I don't know, whenever they redid my set, my microphone is basically pressing
00:36:19.360 up against my cheek, and then I've got to peddle the cigars.
00:36:22.680 I've got the Mayflowers here on this part of my desk.
00:36:25.600 I've got the candle here.
00:36:26.640 And so my leftist-tears tumbler is within dangerous proximity to one of my most wildly
00:36:33.500 gesticulating appendages.
00:36:36.180 It was only a matter of time.
00:36:38.080 It was a ticking time bomb.
00:36:40.220 And that bomb went off yesterday.
00:36:42.540 But the pit crew here at the Michael Knowles Show, led by Pavel with Professor Jacob in backup,
00:36:49.420 they came in, they cleaned off that desk in a 20 millisecond clip.
00:36:56.460 You barely, you didn't even see it happen.
00:36:57.840 It was very impressive.
00:36:59.320 It was actually, it was a happy fault of mine that I knocked it over to see this well-oiled
00:37:04.740 machine of the Michael Knowles Show.
00:37:06.660 And they got me another seltzer, which was great.
00:37:09.120 Speaking of deep state attacks on President Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin,
00:37:14.900 has insinuated that the American state might still try to murder President Trump.
00:37:21.860 He has said that President Trump is not safe.
00:37:26.520 President Trump, a smart and experienced person, will come up with a solution.
00:37:32.940 Well, probably just like me, you are amazed, not by the fact that absolutely uncivilized
00:37:43.420 means had been used against Trump, all the way up to assassination attempts, numerous
00:37:49.940 assassination attempts.
00:37:52.100 And I think he's not safe even now.
00:37:55.400 And I think he's not safe even now.
00:37:57.380 Da, I want to suck your blood.
00:37:58.660 Putin is insinuating here, by connecting the assassination attempts with the lawfare and
00:38:08.060 all the prosecutions and all the rest of it, he's insinuating that it was actually the
00:38:12.140 American state that was trying to murder Trump.
00:38:14.780 Without question, the American state justified the assassination of Trump.
00:38:18.980 Joe Biden and Kamala Harris both personally justified the assassination of Trump by saying
00:38:23.180 that Trump posed an existential threat to the Republic and that he was the second coming
00:38:26.600 of Adolf Hitler.
00:38:27.200 Biden launched his presidential campaign in 2020 on the lie that President Trump called
00:38:32.960 Nazis fine people at Charlottesville.
00:38:34.260 So there's no doubt about that, that the American state justified the assassination of Trump.
00:38:39.800 The question is, was the American state involved?
00:38:43.480 Were the security lapses intentional in Butler, Pennsylvania?
00:38:49.360 What happened?
00:38:50.480 We still don't know really anything about that shooter.
00:38:52.620 How, what?
00:38:53.360 We don't know really much about the second shooter either.
00:38:55.260 What happened?
00:38:56.060 We don't know.
00:38:56.460 And so Putin is coming in and he's saying, you know, I think it was that deep state.
00:39:00.880 And I think Trump's still not safe because he's still surrounded by that deep state.
00:39:05.640 And they're going to be, they're going to be two claims here.
00:39:09.560 One is going to be, and you know that Putin, he's got a point.
00:39:13.380 The other is going to be this Vladimir Putin.
00:39:15.800 He's one of our enemies.
00:39:16.620 He's got a ton of missiles pointed at us.
00:39:18.180 He's cynical.
00:39:18.780 He's opportunistic.
00:39:20.640 He's just trying to, to draw, drive a wedge between the government and Trump and to increase
00:39:27.000 Trump's paranoia.
00:39:28.180 And he's going to try, he's just trying to manipulate Trump's emotions like a KGB agent
00:39:32.280 to try to get it.
00:39:33.060 And I, both of those things are true.
00:39:36.540 In fact, the, the, the reason, the way that you know that Vladimir Putin is a very good
00:39:44.580 manipulator is the fact that he does have a point.
00:39:49.160 A bad manipulator is just going to make up some fable that's easily debunked a top KGB
00:39:57.280 spy leader of Russia for two decades, kind of manipulator.
00:40:01.120 That guy is going to use facts and reality.
00:40:05.180 He's going to make claims that are plausible.
00:40:08.040 So you want to say that Putin is our enemy and he's cynical and opportunistic and manipulative.
00:40:13.340 Yeah.
00:40:13.580 All of that is true.
00:40:15.300 All of that is true.
00:40:16.140 But it is the American left that has enabled that.
00:40:22.700 If the American left had not justified Trump's assassination, if the American government could
00:40:28.500 give us straight answers about not just the prosecutions of Trump, but the security failures
00:40:33.020 in Butler, Pennsylvania, if, if the American liberal political order had not treated President
00:40:39.560 Trump in so unprecedented and egregious and anti-American way, lo, these past 10 years,
00:40:46.260 Vladimir Putin would have no opportunity to make these kinds of insinuations.
00:40:51.620 He's doing it because it's effective and it's effective because it's plausible.
00:40:55.680 And it's plausible because, because the left has, has lost its credibility.
00:41:00.580 Speaking of foreign leaders reaching out to Trump, Justin Trudeau, the leader of America's
00:41:08.200 evil top hat in Canada has flown down to Mar-a-Lago to grovel and beg at President Trump's feet
00:41:14.020 not to impose a 25% tariff on Canada.
00:41:19.440 This is how President Trump described the meeting.
00:41:22.340 He posted a picture which reminded me of Trump sitting down with Mitt Romney when Romney was
00:41:27.040 begging for Secretary of State and Trump was sitting there smiling and Romney looked like
00:41:30.920 he was nauseated.
00:41:32.120 Well, he posted a picture.
00:41:33.540 Trudeau at least had a bigger smile on his face.
00:41:35.580 Here's what Trump said.
00:41:36.520 I just had a very productive meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada where
00:41:39.740 we discussed many important topics that will require both countries to work together to
00:41:42.820 address, like the fentanyl and drug crisis that has decimated so many lives as a result
00:41:46.660 of illegal immigration, fair trade deals that do not jeopardize American workers, and the
00:41:50.560 massive trade deficit the U.S. has with Canada.
00:41:52.360 I made it very clear that the U.S. will no longer sit idly by as our citizens become victims
00:41:56.140 to the scourge of this drug epidemic caused mainly by the drug cartels and fentanyl pouring
00:41:59.740 in from China, too much death and hardship.
00:42:02.880 So it's good.
00:42:03.440 He's saying, yeah, I met with them.
00:42:04.660 I just made clear what we need.
00:42:07.540 Peter Doocy came out with an insider report on how that conversation went down.
00:42:15.160 And tonight we're getting some new details about that Trump-Trudeau dinner from two people
00:42:19.980 who were at the table.
00:42:21.020 We are told that when Trudeau told President-elect Trump that new tariffs would kill the Canadian
00:42:27.480 economy, Trump joked to him that if Canada can't survive without ripping off the U.S.
00:42:32.600 to the tune of $100 billion a year, then maybe Canada should become the 51st state and Trudeau
00:42:39.820 could become its governor.
00:42:41.820 Right.
00:42:43.880 But more on that detail with the panel.
00:42:46.840 Peter, thank you.
00:42:47.540 I love him.
00:42:49.460 I love him so much.
00:42:51.560 Trump just really in tip-top form.
00:42:56.260 So much so that as Peter Doocy gives that report, Brett Baer, who plays it as straight
00:42:59.960 as can be, he's got a little smirk on his face.
00:43:02.040 That's a very funny conversation.
00:43:04.560 Hey, if you guys can't have a country without ripping off our country, maybe you should just
00:43:08.360 become the 51st state.
00:43:09.900 Yeah, that's all right.
00:43:10.660 Then you could become the governor of Canada, the 51st state.
00:43:13.380 Washington's biggest mistake, not going up there and taking it in the first place.
00:43:18.140 My conclusion from this actually has little to do with Canada or the potential annexation
00:43:23.940 of Canada.
00:43:24.620 You know, maybe Trump can hire Dick Cheney and some of the Bush-era neocons.
00:43:29.360 You know, the bombs can start dropping over Calgary and they'll greet us as liberators.
00:43:34.100 You know, we'll free them from the hand of a man who is reputed to be Fidel Castro's son.
00:43:39.480 In any case, seems to me tariffs here are primarily a negotiating tactic.
00:43:47.500 I think that's what this is about.
00:43:48.720 There are three options for Trump's tariff policy.
00:43:51.600 He could either view tariffs as serious economic policy to raise money.
00:43:57.200 That's one option.
00:43:58.900 Option two, tariffs are a good tactic for negotiation, but they're not ultimately going to be the
00:44:04.380 policy.
00:44:04.800 They're just a way to get better trade deals.
00:44:06.260 Or option three, he was just lying.
00:44:09.800 He's not going to use tariffs at all.
00:44:11.580 Option three is obviously off the table.
00:44:13.920 It seems to me that it's between the first two and I think really it's the second.
00:44:18.220 It seems to me clear that Trump is using the tariffs here primarily as a threat to cudgel
00:44:24.480 Trudeau in conversations exactly like this.
00:44:27.760 I think it's the same thing with immigration.
00:44:28.920 There are three options on immigration.
00:44:30.000 Option one, reduce all immigration.
00:44:34.460 Option two, reduce illegal immigration or eliminate illegal immigration, but maintain or even increase
00:44:41.140 legal immigration.
00:44:42.940 Option three, you're just lying.
00:44:44.460 Don't do anything.
00:44:45.660 I think that one's off the table too.
00:44:48.120 It's between the first two.
00:44:50.360 Most Americans actually would like to reduce all immigration.
00:44:53.800 This is clear in public opinion polls, but it depends on how you ask the question.
00:44:56.860 If you ask people, do you want to reduce immigration, they say no.
00:45:00.200 But if you ask people, what is the optimal immigration level, they will give you a number
00:45:04.200 that is drastically lower than our current immigration level.
00:45:07.020 So you can infer from that that people do actually want to reduce immigration.
00:45:10.500 They just don't want to admit it.
00:45:12.280 However, I don't think that's Trump's policy.
00:45:14.240 I think Trump once again is taking the middle ground, which is he wants to eliminate illegal
00:45:18.160 immigration.
00:45:18.720 He wants to maintain or even increase legal immigration.
00:45:21.280 All of which is to say, Trump is a moderate.
00:45:27.000 They're going to call him a fascist and a Nazi and the most extreme threat that we've ever had
00:45:31.260 in America.
00:45:32.080 He is pretty moderate.
00:45:33.900 He's appointing Democrats to his administration.
00:45:36.620 By the way, I think moderation is a virtue.
00:45:38.620 I, along with Aristotle and all serious moral thinkers for all of time, believe that moderation
00:45:43.820 is a virtue.
00:45:44.520 But moderation is a virtue in the sense that, in the Aristotelian sense, that virtue is a
00:45:50.680 mean between extremes.
00:45:52.740 Virtue is the mean between, say, cruelty and leniency.
00:45:59.120 The virtue of justice is right there as the mean between those two things.
00:46:04.140 It's not a mean between justice and injustice.
00:46:08.120 You know, it's a mean between two extremes.
00:46:11.240 And so I think that's Trump's policy.
00:46:12.780 I think that's how he's held the common sense.
00:46:14.800 I think that's how he's won over people in the middle and even on the center left.
00:46:18.280 I think it's why he's rather effective.
00:46:20.860 Some people who are a little bit more ideologically inclined are going to say, they're going to
00:46:25.740 wish he would go further.
00:46:26.780 But those people probably haven't been paying attention all that much below these past 10,
00:46:31.640 even 20 years of Trump's political career.
00:46:34.660 Trump is a moderate.
00:46:36.720 He's got a hold on the common sense.
00:46:38.520 He's probably going to be effective.
00:46:39.840 Even if partisans are going to want him to go much further in one direction or the other.
00:46:44.700 Okay.
00:46:45.020 Now, we're about to focus in on Trump's economic policy in just a moment with my guest, Philip
00:46:49.860 Patrick.
00:46:50.320 But first, I got to say goodbye to the hoi polloi on YouTube.
