Summary

In the wake of President Trump's historic ceasefire with Iran, some of his erstwhile supporters are still freaking out about it. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? And is it bad? And does it really matter?

Transcript

00:00:00.000 You remember when President Trump was preparing to bomb Iran, and a bunch of his erstwhile
00:00:05.920 supporters turned on him and started freaking out. And then I pointed out that Trump has a
00:00:10.980 good record on foreign policy, so maybe we should just let him cook a little bit.
00:00:15.060 And then Trump did bomb Iran, and even more people freaked out, and even more of his erstwhile
00:00:20.680 supporters condemned him, and they all started screaming about World War III. And I calmly
00:00:27.880 pointed out that Trump's attack was not all that out of the ordinary, and was actually quite
00:00:33.920 measured. And then everyone totally ignored my advice and kept screaming about a forever war
00:00:39.500 and World War III right up until the minute that Trump brokered a ceasefire, ending the Israel-Iran
00:00:46.780 war after just 12 days. Maybe 12 days and a little extra if you can, I'll dust up this morning when
00:00:52.760 Israel got a little big for its britches and Trump had to smack them down, and now it's all good.
00:00:57.880 If you don't remember that, I'm reminding you, not just because I want to say I told you so,
00:01:06.440 you know I hate to say that, but so that you remember the next time you are inclined to freak
00:01:12.640 out about Trump. He's a Russian asset! Cross that one off the list. He's an insurrectionist!
00:01:19.560 Cut that one out too. He's destroying the economy! The economy looks great. And now he's starting
00:01:29.540 World War III! Another hysterical claim, which I'm happy to report we can cross off the list,
00:01:37.160 for now at least, with all the rest of them. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:42.240 Welcome back to the show. A Muslim socialist who wants to stop arresting criminals and who wants
00:02:08.520 to trans little kids is currently leading in the New York City mayoral primary, beating Andrew
00:02:15.740 Cuomo. Andrew Cuomo is the conservative in the primary. Just when you think New York can't drop
00:02:21.260 any lower, good grief. Hold on one second, much more to say, but first you need to go to
00:02:26.620 vandycrisps.com slash Knowles. Did you know that all chips and fries used to be cooked in beef tallow
00:02:32.540 up until the 1990s when big corporations made the switch to cheap processed seed oils? Today's seed
00:02:37.120 oils make up a staggering 20% of the average American's daily calories. That's gross. Recent
00:02:43.520 studies have started linking these oils to metabolic health issues and inflammation throughout
00:02:47.120 the body, which got the folks at Vandy Crisps thinking, there must be a better way. They decided
00:02:53.060 to go back to basics and created a potato chip with just three simple ingredients. Heirloom potatoes,
00:02:58.220 sea salt, and 100% grass-fed beef tallow. What makes Vandy different is not just what they've
00:03:05.200 taken out, but what they put back in. That grass-fed beef tallow is not just for flavor,
00:03:09.440 it's packed with nutrients that are great for your skin, brain, and hormones. When you snack on Vandy,
00:03:13.760 you'll notice the distance, the difference rather, immediately. Instead of that familiar crash,
00:03:18.360 bloat, or sluggish feeling you get from regular chips, you'll feel satisfied, light, energetic,
00:03:22.560 and very saucy and cool. The beef tallow is great. All I would say about this, yes, it's better than
00:03:30.260 the seed oils probably, and yes, it's the taste, man. It's the taste. It's the greatest chip you'll
00:03:37.820 ever have in your entire life. It almost tastes like a different thing. Made 100% in America with
00:03:42.540 zero shortcuts, Vandy represents what snacking should feel like. Satisfying and guilt-free. Are you ready
00:03:46.520 to give Vandy a try? Go to VandyCrisps.com slash Knowles. Use code Knowles for 25% off your first
00:03:51.320 order. VandyCrisps.com slash Knowles. Code Knowles. 25% off your first order. I wake up this morning.
00:03:58.420 I was with you last night. I don't know if you don't tune into The Daily Wire or if you don't
00:04:04.240 tune into YouTube or X. You might not have caught my live reaction to the ceasefire, but this broke
00:04:11.660 yesterday evening, and before I left my studio, I said, okay, we'll do a quick live reaction.
00:04:16.080 I said, this is great news. Ha ha. Told you so. All you panic hands, all you lunatics were
00:04:20.940 freaking out on the left, on the right. The people, I've supported Trump for 10 years,
00:04:24.940 but this is too far. He's going to drag us. Oh, I can't imagine that he's going to use
00:04:28.800 P2 Poppers. And they were all whining and crying and screaming and shrieking their heads off,
00:04:33.500 and I urged calm the whole time. I said, I don't know, guys. He's pretty good.
00:04:37.140 I, like Vice President J.D. Vance, think that Trump has earned some credibility on this issue,
00:04:41.260 and everyone just remain calm. I think it's going to be okay. Then it was okay. Trump announces
00:04:45.700 a ceasefire. And what did I say in my live reaction? You can go back to the tape.
00:04:51.160 It only came out about 12 hours ago. I said, my fear now is that Israel is not going to want to
00:04:58.500 accept the ceasefire. My fear now is what Trump wanted to do was eliminate the Iranian nuclear
00:05:03.340 program and move on and have peace because we're the global hegemon, and he recognizes his role as
00:05:09.060 the global empire, and he wants to establish peace so that people can conduct their affairs and live
00:05:13.600 live in a flourishing way. I said, that's not what Israel wants. What Israel wants is regime change
00:05:19.120 in Iran. They haven't come this far to allow the Ayatollah to keep his job. In fact, the Iranian,
00:05:23.980 or rather the Israeli defense minister, I think it was, said that the Ayatollah can no longer be
00:05:28.700 permitted to exist. So I said, they're not going to like this Trump ceasefire, and I think that
00:05:32.960 Trump's job now is going to be not to rein in the Iranians. He's already done that with his B2 bombers.
00:05:38.160 Now his job is going to be to rein in the Israelis.
00:05:40.160 And what do you know? This one, I actually do hate to say I told you so.
00:05:43.720 What do you know? Immediately, Iran reportedly breaks the ceasefire. Or actually, I don't know,
00:05:48.540 the reporting is very unclear. It's the fog of war. What appears to have happened is Trump announces
00:05:53.800 that the ceasefire is soon going to go into effect. So Israel says, all right, we got to get well,
00:05:58.660 the getting's good. And they drop as many bombs as they possibly can on Iran. Then Iran shoots some
00:06:04.100 missiles into Israel. And then Israel comes back and rains down hellfire. And President Trump
00:06:10.320 had this to say about it.
00:06:13.980 Israel says that Iran violated the peace agreement and the ceasefire agreement. Do you believe that
00:06:19.160 Iran is still committed to the peace?
00:06:21.380 Yeah, I do. They violated it, but Israel violated it too.
00:06:24.880 Are you questioning if Israel was committed to the peace?
00:06:26.620 Israel, as soon as we made the deal, they came out and they dropped a load of bombs,
00:06:30.640 the likes of which I've never seen before. The biggest load that we've seen. I'm not happy with
00:06:35.680 Israel. You know, when I say, okay, now you have 12 hours, you don't go out in the first hour and
00:06:41.420 just drop everything you have on them. So I'm not happy with them. I'm not happy with Iran either.
00:06:46.480 But I'm really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning because the one rocket that didn't land,
00:06:51.940 that was shot, perhaps by mistake, that didn't land. I'm not happy about that.
00:06:56.540 You know what? We have, we basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and
00:07:03.660 so hard that they don't know what the they're doing. Do you understand that?
00:07:10.200 Everyone's all worried about someone dropping an A-bomb. President Trump,
00:07:14.240 he drops the F-bomb. We have two countries don't know what the F they're doing. And he's coming out
00:07:19.100 hard against Israel as he should. We pay for their country. And we have brokered this piece.
00:07:26.400 We helped them when they asked us to help them destroy the Iranian nuclear program,
00:07:30.540 which is much more of a threat to Israel than it is to the United States. It's a threat to everyone.
00:07:34.460 And the U.S. has an interest in nuclear nonproliferation. But Iran posed a much greater
00:07:38.700 direct threat to Israel than to the United States. And then Trump says, enough. That's it. We're the
00:07:43.700 hegemon. We're the boss. We pay for your country. Knock it off. And what does Israel do?
00:07:48.680 They say, great, great. I can't wait to abide by that ceasefire. But before that ceasefire
00:07:52.560 officially goes into effect, we're going to bomb Iran back to the Stone Age. No, no, that's not
00:07:58.240 how a good partner behaves. And Trump reacts with a great deal of anger. I generally don't like it
00:08:05.120 when politicians go blue. I don't think it's the sort of thing statesmen ought to do here. It was
00:08:09.620 for clear tactical effect. He wants to make clear to the Israelis that we're not going to let the tail
00:08:14.840 wag the dog. OK, knock it off. And then what does Trump do? Happily, Trump has a very good
00:08:19.680 relationship with Israel. They have a town in Israel named after him. He posts later. But
00:08:24.600 between the time I wake up and the time I get to the office, I say, am I going to have to change my
00:08:28.020 show today? Are we going to have to have a different kind of show? And between that time,
00:08:30.900 he says, hey, good news. Sounds like the Israelis heard me loud and clear because they turned their
00:08:35.560 planes around. So the ceasefire remains in effect. Good news. Totally predictable, though. And the
00:08:44.920 proof that I'm not just retrospectively describing this is I called it last night. I said, now Trump's
00:08:51.280 Trump solved one issue. He solved the issue with Iran. Now we've got a different issue, which is now
00:08:57.160 we've got to reign in Israel because they're not going to be happy with a ceasefire. Clear enough,
00:09:02.220 there are still people complaining about the ceasefire today. We'll get to that momentarily.
00:09:06.680 Where did this all come from, though? Just a quick little summary of what happened yesterday.
00:09:12.840 What happened yesterday, it's a good grief. I think we just need to do the show live 24 hours
00:09:17.700 now. It's just everything is happening so fast. What happened yesterday was that Iran lobbed a bunch
00:09:24.660 of missiles at American bases. So this was notably Qatar. I think they also had bases in Iraq and,
00:09:30.760 you know, they shot them all over the place. Now, when this happened, all the panic hands and all
00:09:36.500 the neurotic people on, even on the American right, on social media, were saying, oh, no, this is it.
00:09:42.700 This is the escalation. It's World War III. Trump got really stepped in at this time. Oh, no. Oh,
00:09:47.280 no. And I looked at it. I said, are you people in a different universe than I am? Because when I look
00:09:52.240 at that missile attack, we didn't hear any reporting about it yet. We just saw the missiles coming
00:09:57.340 over, not just at Iraq, not just maybe Kuwait or something, but or Bahrain or I don't know,
00:10:03.800 wherever the U.S. bases were. There were little ones. But the big barrage was at Qatar. I said,
00:10:09.620 ain't no way Iran is attacking Qatar, Qatar, which is one of the friendliest countries with Iran,
00:10:15.920 Qatar, which hosts Iranian proxies. Ain't no way. I said, this is obviously just to save face.
00:10:23.260 Iran got completely pantsed and humiliated by Trump on the international stage.
00:10:27.360 They can't just take it lying down. They have to at least send over a symbolic attack.
00:10:32.120 But I said publicly, I said, look, if God forbid any U.S. servicemen are injured,
00:10:36.300 then this is going to be an escalation. But if all we're seeing is what we're seeing right now,
00:10:39.900 if it's just impotent Iranian missiles that fired at a friendly nation, then actually this episode is
00:10:46.040 probably over. Now, privately, what I said, though, I didn't post this is, I said, I wouldn't be
00:10:52.600 surprised if Iran gave us a heads up about it. And sure enough, there was reporting from the New York
00:10:59.220 Times said, Iran coordinated the attacks on the American air base in Qatar with Qatari officials
00:11:05.400 and gave advance notice that attacks were coming to minimize casualties, according to three Iranian
00:11:10.420 officials familiar with the plans. The officials said Iran symbolically needed to strike back at
00:11:16.540 the U.S., but at the same time carried out in a way that allowed all sides an exit ramp. Obvious,
00:11:20.800 obvious. And Trump then said, when he tweeted about this, he said, hey, okay, Iran just lobbed its
00:11:26.620 weak attack on us. And I want to thank them for giving us a heads up beforehand. That was very kind.
00:11:30.600 And so happily, and by design, no U.S. service members were killed, no U.S. service members were
00:11:38.420 injured, and no bases were even all that seriously damaged. So then comes the call for peace.
00:11:48.140 But not everybody wants peace. Before we go even one step further, pull over your car, sit down in
00:11:54.900 your chair, do what you got to do, and text Knowles to 989898. We are days away from what has been

00:13:03.900 running out to get Mayflower cigars in time to celebrate America's independence. You know Mayflower
00:13:09.820 cigars is named after my ancestors who came here on the Mayflower. One of those Mayflower ancestors was
00:13:15.820 Dr. Samuel Fuller. His sixth generation ancestor, Lydia Fuller, married a man by the name of Simon
00:13:22.100 Knowles. Simon Knowles, an American revolutionary patriot, signed up to fight at the Battle of Bunker
00:13:27.800 Hill, before the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775, served in Colonel John Stark's regiment throughout
00:13:35.400 the American Revolution. He crossed the Delaware with Washington. He fought at Trenton, Princeton,
00:13:41.400 Saratoga, fought in a lot of really interesting campaigns, all the way down to victory at Yorktown,
00:13:46.400 and then was honorably discharged with Washington at Newburgh. How are you going to celebrate the
00:13:51.700 4th of July without a Mayflower cigar? You must order by this Thursday, June 26th, if you want to
00:13:57.920 get your cigars in time for the 4th. Do not wait. A word of advice, the Voyager's kit is a perfect option

00:14:15.200 Spanish accent. A Zykar Linea torch lighter, which is my favorite of the lighters. A Zykar
00:14:21.340 XI2 double guillotine cutter, which is immaculately designed. You must order by Thursday, June 26th,
00:14:26.800 to get the cigars in time for the 4th of July. Go to mayflowercigars.com today. You must be 21 years
00:14:31.620 or older to order. Some exclusions apply. So Trump calls for peace. He says, Iran has officially
00:14:38.980 responded to our obliteration of their nuclear facilities with a very weak response, which we
00:14:43.060 expected and have very effectively countered. There have been 14 missiles fired, 13 were knocked
00:14:47.780 down, and one was set free because it was heading in a non-threatening direction. So they let one just
00:14:51.800 go by because it was going to hit the dirt. I'm pleased to report no Americans were harmed. Hardly any
00:14:55.680 damage was done. More importantly, they got it all out of their system. I love it. He would system in
00:15:00.260 quotes. I love that though. Like really now he sounds like dad. He comes in, I'm unhappy with
00:15:06.800 Iran and I'm very unhappy with Israel. Like Israel's the older brother. You know, even it's like the
00:15:12.720 younger brother started something. It's like the younger brother took the toys. Look, I'm unhappy
00:15:18.160 with you, but you should have known better. I'm really unhappy with you. Come on. Come on. You need
00:15:23.100 to set the example. What are you doing? They got it all out of their system and there will hopefully be
00:15:28.100 no further hate. I want to thank Iran for giving us early notice. It really twists the knife,
00:15:32.800 which made it possible for no lives to be lost and nobody to be injured. It both twists the knife
00:15:36.780 and is sincere, I think. I think he has, hey, Iran, thank you for being mature here. Because this is
00:15:41.300 the thing about Iran. You hear a lot of propaganda, which says that Iran is totally irrational.
00:15:46.680 They're completely irrational actors. They are terrorists. They do use violence to achieve
00:15:52.880 political means, violence against civilians to achieve political means. They are a rogue state.
00:15:58.560 They got one foot outside of the international order, but they do have one foot inside of the
00:16:02.340 international order. And they're a real country. They have a real solid government. They have
00:16:07.400 succession. The Ayatollah has apparently named successor. They're real. This ain't Afghanistan.
00:16:13.120 Okay, this is a real country. And so I think what we're seeing from this episode is they're a country
00:16:19.620 that can behave in a rational way. And that's what Trump is thanking them for. Thank you for
00:16:24.440 behaving in a rational way to give us both an exit ramp here. And Trump knew that that was
00:16:29.080 likely to happen because this is how Iran has behaved before, including after the attack on
00:16:33.680 Soleimani. Perhaps Iran can now proceed to peace and harmony in the region. And I will enthusiastically
00:16:41.620 encourage Israel to do the same. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Donald J. Trump,
00:16:44.360 president of the United States of America. Okay, so he's saying,
00:16:47.700 look, I'm going to let you stay in power. Remember yesterday, I said, look, Trump is calling for
00:16:54.340 regime change and all you panic hands are losing your minds and you're freaking out and you're
00:16:57.680 calling him George Bush and all the rest. I said, but Trump just understands deals and incentives.
00:17:02.420 So Trump recognizes that in order to achieve a peace right now with the Ayatollah, he needs a
00:17:10.040 credible threat that he's going to remove the Ayatollah from power. And he's got pretty credible
00:17:14.920 threats after those B-2 bombers dropped bunker busters, destroyed the Iranian nuclear program.
00:17:18.700 So he needs the credible threat. Hey, hey, let's go for regime change. Hey, regime change ain't off
00:17:24.620 the table, but he needs to give the Ayatollah the incentive that, well, maybe we won't do regime
00:17:30.640 change. If you play nice, maybe we'll let you stay in power, which is very much in the American
00:17:35.960 interest. It's not in the interest of the state of Israel, might not be in the interest of Saudi
00:17:41.820 Arabia. I don't know. It's unclear. You know, I don't know if they would be better. Do they want
00:17:44.740 the stability of having the devil they know? Do they, do they want to go for the devil they don't
00:17:49.460 know that maybe would, would give a more peaceful situation? The Iranian people, I don't know. I'm no
00:17:53.640 Iran expert, but probably a lot of them would benefit from the mullahs being out, but that's not
00:17:57.180 the point. Question is what is best for peace and what is best for the national interest of the
00:18:01.560 United States? Then Trump tweets out, congratulations world. It's time for peace. He announces the
00:18:07.520 ceasefire yesterday and notice what he does here. I'm not going to read the whole thing because it's,
00:18:11.600 it's somewhat prolix, but it says, congratulations to everyone. It's been fully agreed by and between
00:18:20.040 Israel and Iran that there will be a complete and total ceasefire. Six hours from now, he kind
00:18:24.640 of lays out how it's going to go down. The war will be considered ended. Iran will start the
00:18:29.380 ceasefire. Then Israel will start the ceasefire. And that will be an official end to the 12 day war,
00:18:34.620 all caps. So he starts this out because Trump is so good at branding. He's such a good marketer.
00:18:40.020 He says, okay, we're going to, I'm already going to name this. You've heard of the six day war.
00:18:43.600 This is the 12 day war. And I, Donald Trump, you were all saying that I'm going to lose my Nobel
00:18:47.500 peace prize now. Not that they would ever give him the Nobel peace prize. He says, well, look at me.
00:18:51.820 I wrapped up this war. I peacemaker, Donald Trump wrapped up this war in a mere 12 days,
00:18:58.720 the 12 day war. I want to congratulate both countries, Israel and Iran on having the stamina,
00:19:04.140 courage and intelligence to end what should be called the 12 day war. He repeats it again.
00:19:07.480 He loves the marketing of it. Notice what he does here too. He allows both nations to keep their
00:19:12.960 dignity. Congratulations, Iran. This was very well done. Congratulations, Israel. This was very well
00:19:18.420 done. Good job. Congratulations to everyone. God bless Israel. God bless Iran. God bless the
00:19:23.560 Middle East. God bless the United States of America. God bless the world. A belligerent,
00:19:28.800 shallow statesman would say, damn you to hell, Iran. We'll get you next time.
00:19:33.520 And we, we love you, Israel. Or vice versa. You know, Obama or something. We love you,
00:19:40.560 mullahs. Please, can I shine your shoes? Can I, can I, oh, can I please launder your keffia,
00:19:44.880 but we hate you, BB. That's what a lesser statesman would have done. Trump the realizes you got to give
00:19:50.460 people the opportunity to do the right thing. Don't make it hard for people to do the right thing.
00:19:56.440 Don't make it, take yes for an answer. That's what Trump's showing here. Not everyone likes the
00:20:02.320 ceasefire. Mark Levin, who has been, you know, a conservative pundit and author, very, very famous,
00:20:09.300 needs no introduction. Mark Levin has been a big voice, a hawkish voice on war in Iran,
00:20:16.500 taking out the Iranian nuclear program. Mark Levin does not like this word ceasefire.
00:20:22.220 I hate this word ceasefire. I really do. The president hated it a few days ago, too.
00:20:29.260 What's needed now is this, in my humble opinion. Iran should be forced to sign a surrender document,
00:20:38.940 unconditional surrender. They lost their nukes. They've lost their air force. They have no ground
00:20:44.040 to air protection. China didn't step in. Russia didn't step in. Not a single Arab country stepped in.
00:20:50.320 The Supreme Nazi is hiding in a bunker, much like Adolf Hitler did. Adolf Hitler wasn't thrown a
00:20:58.700 lifeline. He wasn't thrown a lifeline. He was going to be killed, so he committed suicide.
00:21:08.540 I'm very much interested in seeing how this plays out. I really am. Because what does an agreement
00:21:16.520 look like? Does that mean the Supreme Nazi survives? Does that mean the regime survives? I guess so.
00:21:28.520 Not too happy about that, is he? Now, I like Mark Levin. He's laying it on a little thick here,
00:21:34.440 isn't it? The Supreme Nazi is not. The Ayatollah, say what you will, but he's not a Nazi. You know,
00:21:40.300 a Nazi is a German national socialist. He doesn't like Jews. I guess that's the one similarity,
00:21:47.080 but he's a Shiite, Twelver, Muslim political leader. He's not a Nazi. There are distinctions
00:21:55.140 between, you know, not every bad guy in the world is Hitler. But he's drawing the comparison here
00:22:01.520 because he says, look, we killed Hitler. Why are we going to stop short of killing
00:22:04.100 the Ayatollah? We de-Nazified Germany after World War II. Why aren't we going to de-Mullah-ize
00:22:14.760 Iran or so? Why aren't we pushing all the way for regime change? Mark Levin has been a huge,
00:22:20.440 huge hawk. Now, there have been other voices, other elder statesman pundits, elder pundits.
00:22:28.500 Not that they're old, but, you know, they've been around for a long time. They have a lot of
00:22:31.680 influence who have been calling for America to do absolutely nothing. Most notably, Tucker has
00:22:39.120 said, we should not have any involvement in this whatsoever. This is horrible. You know,
00:22:42.280 he was saying this is going to lead to, if we do anything to Iran, it's going to cause thousands
00:22:46.380 of American servicemen to be killed at U.S. bases. That turned out not to be true. There were missiles
00:22:50.680 fired from Iran, but it was symbolic. Not a single American was injured. Not saying, I like both of
00:22:56.760 these guys. I like Tucker and I like Mark Levin. I'm not knocking either of them personally. I'm
00:23:00.780 making a point about the political situation and Trump's role because what Trump did was the
00:23:06.960 moderate course of action. Everyone accuses Trump of being some crazy extremist. He is not an extremist.
00:23:15.420 That is how he's had a successful first term and second term into our second term now.
00:23:20.820 That's how we built this coalition. This is something people don't get about Trump
00:23:24.560 because he uses colorful language and talks like a New Yorker. They say,
00:23:28.480 Trump is an extremist. He's not. Trump is a moderate in the best sense of the word.
00:23:36.760 He's a moderate in the Aristotelian sense, in the John Henry Newman sense.
00:23:44.320 It's not, you know, you think of some of the squishy rhinos. They're moderates in that they just,
00:23:50.240 they want to, you know, appease everybody and they don't have any principles and they're rudderless and
00:23:54.500 they just kind of squish and they pick actually the worst of all options. Trump doesn't do that.
00:23:59.920 Trump recognizes that moderation, properly understood, is a virtue. And so, no, we're not,
00:24:07.420 we're the global hegemon. We're not going to isolate ourselves and neglect the rest of the world.
00:24:12.740 That's ridiculous. We're the global empire. That doesn't, it's not how it works.
00:24:15.880 We might not have an interest in global politics, but global politics sure has an interest in us.
00:24:21.020 So, no, we're not doing that. But likewise, we're not going to light up every country on earth and
00:24:25.340 overturn every regime. We don't have an interest in that either. Sorry, some people, you know,
00:24:30.600 are really into that. That ain't, that ain't in our interest. No, we're going to achieve our
00:24:36.200 strategic objectives. We're going to take risks. We're going to demonstrate courage,
00:24:40.860 political courage, obviously the courage of our service members. We're going to
00:24:45.420 intervene when we feel it absolutely necessary. And then we're going to give people an off-ramp
00:24:52.640 so that we can move on and not imperil the many other things we want to do. In this case,
00:24:56.360 notably Trump's domestic agenda. In many ways, Trump benefits from having Tucker out here screaming
00:25:02.180 about how we shouldn't, you know, intervene at all. And Mark Levin here, who wants to decapitate
00:25:06.680 the mullah himself and put his head on a pike in his living room. In many ways,
00:25:10.220 Trump benefits from that because it shows you that Trump's view is the moderate view.
00:25:14.280 And I think it's where most Americans are. I took my very scientific Twitter poll right when this was
00:25:20.460 all about to break out. And I did it knowing basically exactly what the answers were going
00:25:24.680 to be, but just to show the predicament Trump was in. I said, do you think that we should let Iran
00:25:28.900 have a nuclear weapon? 89% no. Do you think we should go to war with Iran? 89% no. There's a tension
00:25:36.240 between those two things. As of now, again, it could change momentarily. It could be changing
00:25:39.880 while I'm doing this show right now. But as of now, Trump appears to have walked that tightrope
00:25:45.200 perfectly. Hold on. Stop. Wait a second. I got a lot more to say, but you got to go to

00:27:08.180 Speaking of moderation at the White House, Mediaite is shocked and horrified by something
00:27:15.260 that just happened at the White House. This is the headline. I'm not even going to tell you,
00:27:19.640 I'm not going to tell you what really was going on here. Here's just the headline for
00:27:23.000 Mediaite, which is a left-wing outlet about the media. Stunning hidden cam video catches Trump
00:27:32.580 faith office group speaking in tongues on White House grounds.
00:27:40.160 We just thank you right now, Lord, from the east, the west, the north, and the south,
00:27:43.880 you will shake America with your power and your glory. We cancel every assignment of the enemy.
00:27:49.640 This nation was born to be one nation under God, and we are standing on the soil of the White House,
00:27:54.920 and we are declaring your word. Every place that our foot will trod, you will give it to us,
00:28:00.000 and we are taking the land. We thank you, O Lord. You have brought us to the kingdom for a time
00:28:04.680 such as this, and this is the time. And so we declare right now from the capital of our nation
00:28:10.240 that America will come back to God. We will come back to God. Nothing will stop this nation,
00:28:16.460 and we speak right now by the authority of heaven. You told us to bring heaven to earth.
00:28:22.120 Heaven is being released through your people right now.
00:28:24.960 Okay, and so Mediaite posts this, oh, look at these wacky, crazy, religious kooks at the White House.
00:28:31.040 Look, they're so wacky and crazy. Yeah, okay. Look, that's not my flavor of Christianity, all right?
00:28:39.000 The head of the White House faith office is, I think it's a woman, Paula White. I don't know
00:28:43.900 much about her. I guess she's a televangelist. She's been criticized for supposedly promoting the
00:28:49.680 prosperity gospel and raising money in ways that are a little sus and a little bit dubious. And okay,
00:28:57.560 sure. This ain't my cup of tea. They say, they heard speaking in tongues, by which I think they
00:29:03.340 mean glossolala, you know, which sounds like shama-la-la-ha-la-ba-ba-ba, you know, that sort
00:29:08.000 of thing, which, you know, is not, it kind of exists in the mystical tradition, a little maybe does,
00:29:14.300 but, you know, traditionally, that's not really a traditional understanding of what even what
00:29:18.520 speaking in tongues is. And yes, this kind of prayer is quite performative, quite emotivist,
00:29:25.160 and it's performative, not in a liturgical sense, but in a kind of personal, very modern,
00:29:31.220 you know, individualist kind of sense. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I get all the, I get all the criticisms.
00:29:35.080 And that's not exactly my flavor of religion. Sure.
00:29:41.460 You're going to tell me that's weirder than what Joe Biden did? You're going to tell,
00:29:46.360 because I remember, let me think about religion under Joe Biden. Let me talk about religious views,
00:29:51.120 man's place in the universe, how we understand ourselves, our souls, our spirits.
00:29:54.400 I remember Joe Biden hoisting that terrorist pride flag and having a dude with a breast
00:30:00.320 implant job taking his shirt off and flashing his grotesque simulacrum of female genitals on the
00:30:09.640 south lawn of the White House. I think that's a kookier religion than some, I think, probably very
00:30:17.060 well-intentioned, very sincere evangelical Protestants saying a prayer outside the West Wing.
00:30:23.340 Call me crazy. Did you hear them? They're calling on the name of Jesus. Well, that's actually a very
00:30:30.340 good, normal, reasonable thing to do, because Christ is God and took on flesh to dwell among us
00:30:37.700 and conquered death on the cross and rose again from the dead in evidence that death had been
00:30:44.020 defeated. And there were 500 eyewitnesses to the resurrection. The apostles, almost all of them
00:30:47.980 went off to their deaths to proclaim the good news. And the religion spread throughout the global
00:30:52.240 empire, the Roman empire, and then took over every corner of the earth and then built our whole
00:30:58.240 civilization. So I don't think that's so crazy. Yeah, our founding fathers wouldn't have thought
00:31:02.760 that was so crazy. The vast majority of men who built our country wouldn't have thought that was
00:31:07.780 so crazy. Well, you know, they're very emotional. Yeah, they're very, are they more emotional than the
00:31:13.540 topless transvestite on the South lawn of the White House flashing his chest? No, there's some,
00:31:18.460 and it's not just that. I mean, the transvestite issue is a particularly weird one, but there are
00:31:23.300 many other examples of this. Religion on the left today, what is it? It's woo-woo crystals and a kind
00:31:31.140 of watered down Buddhism, I guess. And it's a self-deification. It's basically just a worship of the
00:31:39.740 self, a mistaken view of human nature that says that we're either not our bodies at all,
00:31:45.660 transgenderism, or we're entirely our bodies. We're pure matter and flesh, such that when we're
00:31:50.500 feeling sad, we can just take some pills to correct chemical imbalances because we don't really have
00:31:56.300 any intellect or soul. Yeah, I don't know, man. Give me the sincere evangelicals. I think what
00:32:03.960 they're doing is, in the grand scheme of things, just fine. Just fine. Quite moderate, really.
00:32:11.160 Okay, speaking of kooks, Zoran Mamdani is beating Andrew Cuomo in the New York City mayoral primary.
00:32:20.760 Zoran Mamdani. Who is Zoran Mamdani? He is a Muslim socialist who is campaigning on
00:32:29.500 not arresting criminals. He's saying, you know, New York's, if New York has one problem,
00:32:34.000 it's that they arrest too many criminals. There's not enough crime on the streets.
00:32:38.140 So he wants to stop arresting criminals. He wants to build a bunch of projects. That's another real
00:32:42.740 problem with New York. Not enough public housing. You know, not enough just gangland, drug den
00:32:48.500 projects. We need to build more of those. He wants to eliminate bus fares. The bus, first of all,
00:32:53.240 very few people pay for, relatively few people pay for public transit in New York anyway. I sometimes feel
00:32:58.640 like I'm the only one even paying for the subway, and the subway is the elevated version of New York
00:33:02.300 public transit. But he wants to eliminate bus fares because if you can't pay the buck or two that it
00:33:07.900 costs to ride the bus now, you should be able to ride the bus. But really all that's going to do,
00:33:12.480 it's not going to make it easier for poor people to ride the bus. It's just going to fill the bus up
00:33:15.420 with vagrants and lunatics and bums who can't even be bothered to spend one of the dollars that they
00:33:23.500 get panhandling on bus fare. They have to go spend it on booze or drugs. So it's just going to make
00:33:30.340 the buses even less desirable to ride than they already are. Oh, he also wants to globalize the
00:33:36.400 intifada. That's good. Yeah, not enough violent Muslims running around. And he wants to trans the
00:33:40.780 kids. He's running, not just on transing the adults, transing the kids. This according to a new
00:33:46.940 poll being reported on by the New York Post. So the way it's working is Andrew Cuomo, the disgraced
00:33:53.780 former governor of New York, is trying to have a comeback. So he's running for mayor and he's still
00:34:00.480 sort of winning, but New York City is ranked choice voting. So because no one's getting 50%,
00:34:06.320 then it goes to ranked choice. And at that point, this lunatic Zoran Mamdani is jumping over Andrew
00:34:12.560 Cuomo. Just to put that all in perspective, it means that Andrew Cuomo is the conservative candidate
00:34:19.900 for mayor of New York. Andrew Cuomo is not liberal enough for New York. Andrew Cuomo,
00:34:25.780 which you might recall, I forget what year it was, Andrew Cuomo passed this bill, passed a law that said
00:34:34.720 that you could abort a baby up until the moment of birth and actually changed the New York penal code
00:34:40.280 such that previously, if you murdered a pregnant woman, you'd be charged with double homicide.
00:34:45.120 After Andrew Cuomo got done changing it because he was so bloodthirsty for the deaths of infants,
00:34:52.140 he changed it so that you would only be charged with a single homicide. And then to celebrate his
00:35:00.640 infanticidal victory, he lit up the Freedom Tower pink. That's who we're talking about. Andrew Cuomo.
00:35:06.880 Now, complete nut lunatic. He got run out of, ostensibly, he was run out of office because he
00:35:13.960 was harassing his secretary or something. But really, it was because he got caught lying about
00:35:19.140 his record during COVID, during COVID when he sent all the sick people to nursing homes and killed all
00:35:25.660 the old people. And then ran a PR campaign with his brother who was hosting a show on CNN trying to
00:35:31.660 pretend that Andrew Cuomo was leading the way in New York. In fact, there was one influencer girl
00:35:37.260 on the left who said she was a Cuomo sexual. He was doing such a great job. Ooh, we love Andrew Cuomo.
00:35:42.180 He wrote a book about how great he was. He was probably the worst governor during COVID.
00:35:47.320 That guy is too conservative for New York City.
00:35:50.800 Things are going to have to get even worse up there before they get any better. That is,
00:35:57.400 you thought we had reached the David Dinkins level of New York's bottoming out. Uh-uh. We've got a
00:36:03.260 long ways to go before the next Rudy Giuliani comes up in New York. All the more reason that I think
00:36:08.280 New Yorkers, normal New Yorkers, are going to be heading out to places like Tennessee,
00:36:12.920 Florida, Texas. Maybe that's why. And then it leaves only the lunatics in New York,
00:36:16.360 so they elect Muslim socialists who want to trans the kids. Now, speaking of people getting out of
00:36:22.600 jail, a big update to a big story in the Trump administration. Kind of a foreign story,
00:36:27.640 kind of a domestic story, but a big update and a big fight. Did you know that over 85% of grass-fed

00:37:36.580 You know what he says? He says, I wish more conservative commentators would take the Michael
00:37:40.960 Knowles approach to Trump and just let him cook. I know, look, let me tell you something.
00:37:46.180 I know that I could wring some more views out. I know I could get those ratings up a little bit
00:37:51.960 higher if I just, if I, if I just took stupid positions. I know I could. Oh yeah, my show would
00:37:59.280 be bigger. I would make more money if I just would take stupider, less correct positions. If I said,
00:38:08.340 oh no, we should never intervene. Trump is going to destroy the whole world. Why don't we vote for him?
00:38:14.080 Oh yeah, I'd get, I'd get more views. I'd be wrong. Or conversely, we need to go light them up and
00:38:21.220 bomb everything on earth and we need to, woohoo, this is freedom, whatever. I know, I know.
00:38:27.680 But listen, my friends, I'm not here to flatter you. I'm not here to mislead you. I'm here to tell
00:38:36.920 you the truth as I see it. And 99.7% of the time I happen to be correct. So what can I say?
00:38:45.260 That's how it goes. That's my burden. Now, speaking of people getting out of jail,
00:38:52.260 the libs are trying to set Kilmar Abrego Garcia loose. Do you remember that name?
00:38:57.680 That's a name I've not heard a long, long time in this administration because the news cycle moves
00:39:03.520 so fast. Really, you would have heard of him, I don't know, yesterday or something. He is that guy
00:39:07.480 who multiple judges found likely to be a member of MS-13. He was an illegal alien. His wife
00:39:15.080 reportedly took out an order of protection because of domestic violence. He's accused of
00:39:21.620 human trafficking. So he's deported. And then the Democrats, they say, no, no, no, we love him.
00:39:28.460 Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen, he says, no, no, you took my beloved. No. So Chris Van Hollen
00:39:33.600 leaves all of his actual constituents, the citizens, the taxpayers, people who elected him,
00:39:38.460 flies to El Salvador to go take this gangster, this illegal alien gangster out on a nice romantic
00:39:44.560 lunch date. He says, oh, Kilmar, Kilmar, I missed you so much. It was just so good to hear your voice
00:39:50.720 again. Kilmar says, gay, gay. Well, who are you, ese? He goes, oh, Kilmar. Oh, I love it when you make
00:39:58.340 your jokes like that. Whatever. So he goes back up. And then of course, random federal judges.
00:40:03.920 There are a lot of them. And just all it takes is one random federal judge to say, no, no, you have
00:40:07.460 to come back. We have to send him back. I need to impede the entire executive branch. So the U.S.
00:40:13.020 says, all right, fine. The executive branch says, fine, we'll bring him back. We will listen to the
00:40:17.920 judges, but we're going to prosecute him for all the crimes that he's committed. Are you sure you want
00:40:22.100 to send him back? We're just going to leave him in El Salvador. But okay, we'll send him back.
00:40:25.260 We'll prosecute him for all the crimes he's committed. So now the liberals say, well, shoot,
00:40:28.900 we don't want that. Okay, I'll tell you what. Bring him back and you're going to prosecute
00:40:32.940 him. But we're going to insist, this is the judge who's overseeing the case. We're going
00:40:36.980 to insist that while he is awaiting his trial, you let him out of jail. This illegal alien
00:40:42.840 found by multiple judges likely to be a gangster, part of a Satan worshiping foreign cartel.
00:40:50.360 Yeah, we're going to, you're going to let him out of jail. And here is what President Trump's
00:40:56.320 Department of Homeland Security had to say. Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a dangerous criminal illegal
00:41:03.320 alien. We have said it for months and it remains true to this day. He will never go free on American
00:41:11.260 soil. Good, good stuff from DHS. Trump has to hold the line on this. This is a crucial fight. I know
00:41:19.280 what some of the squishes on the right are going to say. They're going to say, well, who cares? It's
00:41:24.220 just this one random illegal alien. And maybe he's not a member of MS-13. I mean, it seems
00:41:29.540 overwhelmingly likely that he is. The preponderance of evidence suggests that he is. He's at the very
00:41:34.940 least a criminal in the sense that he's an illegal alien. And he's accused of being a wife beater.
00:41:40.200 There's the order of protection and he would appear to be a human trafficker. But maybe, maybe he's
00:41:46.420 not like the most perfect 100% watertight case. So let's just let him go. The libs want him so bad.
00:41:51.400 Chris Van Hollen wants to go take him to a nice beach vacation on Fire Island or something. Just
00:41:56.000 let him go. What does it matter? Well, what does it matter? What does it matter? If it didn't matter,
00:42:01.880 why would the libs be fighting so hard to let this guy out? This is, this is the fight.
00:42:07.240 Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a microcosm of the broader fight over illegal immigration.
00:42:10.520 Because the libs know, if they can get the Trump administration to cave on this guy,
00:42:16.000 quite credibly accused of being a member of MS-13, ostensibly a wife beater, all down the line,
00:42:22.940 but also just an illegal alien who has no right to be here and who should have just been booted out
00:42:26.420 of the country without so much as a conversation. If they can get Trump to cave on that, they'll get
00:42:32.000 him to cave on all immigration. You think you're going to deport 11 to 16 million illegal aliens,
00:42:39.560 people who don't have gang tattoos, who haven't been credibly accused and found likely to be
00:42:44.760 gangsters by judges, who don't beat their wives, who don't, no, you're not deporting any of those
00:42:48.720 people. If you let Kilmar Abrego Garcia go, they all go free. That, that is why the Trump
00:42:54.700 administration is digging in so hard. That's also why the Democrats are digging in so hard. They
00:42:58.340 realize that this, and this guy, this guy doesn't know anything. He's just a kind of two-bit gangster,
00:43:03.160 but the, they're both digging in so hard because they realize this is the, this is going to be the
00:43:10.120 sign for how the whole issue goes. Speaking of illegal aliens, good information, good news coming
00:43:17.180 out. People have been criticizing, you know, they always criticize Trump. And when the left
00:43:21.980 criticizes Trump, I accept it. I get it. When the right criticizes Trump with due respect and
00:43:28.980 collegiality on the right issues, you know, okay, all right, look, Trump's not going to get it right
00:43:33.920 a hundred percent of the time. He's only human. You know, okay. You say, oh, maybe that first step
00:43:37.160 act wasn't the greatest idea. Oh, maybe this, that, you know, okay. I'm for, I've, I've criticized
00:43:41.140 Trump plenty of times in that way. But when they go after Trump and he's not doing enough of what I
00:43:46.420 want him to do, and he's doing a thing I didn't want him to do, and he's not moving fast.
00:43:50.860 I just, I'm, it's so sickening. And they're doing this on the deportations.
00:43:54.740 These people who have undermined Trump every which way, and they just constantly are attacking
00:44:00.360 him. And you think with people, with right-wingers like this, who needs left-wingers? You know,
00:44:04.280 they say, well, okay, he is, he's doing the deportations. He's doing the raids, but it's
00:44:08.880 not quite fast enough. Well, here's some news. One million illegals have self-deported since
00:44:14.400 January, which is what Trump called for. This is according to calculations by the Center for
00:44:19.640 Immigration Studies. This is using the Census Bureau's monthly survey, shows that the number of
00:44:23.900 immigrants in the labor force dropped by about 600,000 from January through May. So that doesn't
00:44:30.360 even include June. The overall number of immigrants in the U.S. fell by almost 1,957,000. According to
00:44:38.360 the lead author of the study, Stephen Camerota, it looks like there's been a Trump effect on the
00:44:43.500 number of illegal immigrants in the country based on the best data we have. So he said the U.S. now has
00:44:48.780 14.8 million illegals, 1 million fewer than his estimates in January when Trump took office.
00:44:57.080 This is, without question, the best way to do it. Because it's expensive to actually send in Tom
00:45:02.720 Holman to go down there with a billy club and start wrangling the illegals. It's expensive.
00:45:07.240 You can see this from the Kilmer-Rego Garcia case. One guy, we tried to deport one gangster,
00:45:11.320 the libs throw a hissy fit. They're going to keep this going for months,
00:45:15.560 and it's going to cost zillions of dollars, and it's just too much in terms of resources.
00:45:21.280 So by far, the best way that you can get the illegals out of the country is have them self-deport.
00:45:26.660 Carrots and sticks, which is what I think Trump has shown beautifully well in the Iran-Israel
00:45:31.680 issue. You got to give people, you got to have the stick. You got to have the Tom Holman stick.
00:45:36.860 You just grab Tom Holman by his ankles and start banging him on the heads of the illegal aliens.
00:45:41.000 You got to have that. But you need to have the carrot, which DHS rolled out, what was it,
00:45:46.160 about a month ago? It's an app where they say, look, we'll give you, we will give you some money
00:45:50.280 if you leave. We'll give you like a thousand bucks. It's cheaper than going in and enforcing
00:45:53.220 the law. If you leave, but we're going to be geotagging you, and we got to make, you got to be in
00:45:57.360 your actual country of origin, and then we'll send you the money. It's the carrots and the sticks.
00:46:03.100 So far, it's pretty good. Trump's only deported 50,000 people or whatever it is.
00:46:08.160 Yeah, okay. But a million have self-deported. I'll take that. And you know what I call that? I don't
00:46:13.680 call that mission accomplished. I call that a good start. Today is Teehee Tuesday. The rest of the show
