00:02:56.580 exactly what happened, how it happened, all the details about the shooter, and so on.

00:03:03.180 because there were Minnesota politicians who were leaping

00:03:05.740 to pontificate about this moments after it happened.

00:03:10.020 How is it possible, just a little preface, especially coming here from Nashville,

00:03:14.200 we had a shooting at a Christian school,

00:03:16.440 a trans-identified killer shooting at a Christian school.

00:03:19.100 How is it possible that, especially in the wake of that tragedy,

00:03:23.000 this sort of thing could happen?

00:03:26.240 Well, you would have to wonder, Michael,

00:03:28.240 because after one of these absolute atrocities taking place,

00:03:31.180 you would think that school officials and lawmakers all over the country

00:03:34.020 would want to make sure that our children, especially, are safe.

00:03:37.700 And, actually, there were some in Minnesota who reached out to Tim Walz and said,

00:03:42.000 please take measures to protect our kids at non-public schools.

00:03:46.500 Obviously, a lot of steps were taken to protect children at public schools,

00:03:49.360 but when you have these private, independent, Catholic, Christian, Jewish, Muslim schools,

00:03:53.660 these kids still need to be protected, too.

00:03:55.880 And so we reported yesterday, we exclusively broke this news,

00:03:59.460 that leaders at independent and Catholic schools in Minnesota

00:04:02.560 had reached out to Tim Walz and said,

00:04:04.820 please help us, there is a critical need for protecting our students.

00:04:08.560 And this letter that they sent to Tim Walz came only a week after

00:04:12.580 this trans-identifying shooter in Nashville killed children

00:04:16.560 at Covenant Christian School in this tragic mass shooting.

00:04:20.440 So they sent this letter a week later.

00:04:22.640 What I'm told, and I spoke with the leaders that sent this letter,

00:04:25.780 is that they met with Tim Walz.

00:04:27.040 He expressed interest in helping them in wanting to secure these schools for children,

00:04:31.160 but ultimately nothing was ever done.

00:04:33.980 And so they were left in the lurch with these security measures.

00:04:37.100 And I spoke with both of these leaders,

00:04:38.600 and they said that they were really disappointed that nothing had been done,

00:04:41.760 and that they expressed their sincere and deep sorrow for the incident

00:04:45.380 that took place yesterday,

00:04:46.980 this tragic shooting of these two children and these two parishioners,

00:04:50.900 and their deaths are being mourned by people all over the country.

00:04:54.440 And then the injuries to all these other young children,

00:04:56.700 and the lasting impact that this will have on that community and these parents is just devastating.

00:05:02.360 So, you know, we see all of these politicians talking about how thoughts and prayers are not enough,

00:05:07.440 but these children were literally praying as they were killed,

00:05:10.840 and these leaders are telling me that they had asked for help in this situation,

00:05:15.140 and it wasn't given to them.

00:05:17.020 So we felt like this story was really important to report in the wake of this shooting,

00:05:21.100 and to help people understand that, yes, students at private schools,

00:05:26.020 students at Catholic schools, Jewish schools all over the country,

00:05:28.220 they are facing serious threats.

00:05:30.360 And in this case, we have found two different shooters in the last several years

00:05:34.600 who identify as transgender.

00:05:36.220 They're in their 20s.

00:05:37.100 They have a very obvious history of mental health issues.

00:05:41.020 I would like to know, Michael, and I'm sure you would too,

00:05:43.700 what kind of medications this shooter was taking.

00:05:45.920 I asked this during the Nashville shooting.

00:05:48.280 I asked the coroner who had the body of the Nashville shooter,

00:05:52.580 was this shooter on so-called gender-affirming drugs?

00:05:56.040 In her case, testosterone.

00:05:57.740 I never got any answers there, and I think in this case,

00:06:00.000 we really deserve answers on what kind of so-called gender-affirming hormones 1.00

00:06:03.720 this shooter was taking and what therapists and doctors he had been interacting with

00:06:07.960 because they are also to blame in this situation as well.

00:06:11.320 Of course, and just on the point of Tim Walls and the local authorities here,

00:06:16.340 I guess this is what's most infuriating about the political response to me,

00:06:20.720 and I think to a lot of people, is immediately, and we'll get to it later in the show,

00:06:24.840 you had the Minneapolis mayor come out and lambast people

00:06:28.600 and really mock people for suggesting that we pray

00:06:31.840 and say, oh, they were praying in a church, you know?

00:06:35.300 I think there was implicit mockery there of children praying in a church.

00:06:39.260 A lot of good that did them.

00:06:40.260 Where's your God now?

00:06:41.220 That's basically the implication.

00:06:42.500 And the alternative that is proposed by these politicians is,

00:06:47.600 forget your prayer, forget your God, forget your thoughts.

00:06:53.540 And then you come out with this report, and you say, well, they requested political action.

00:07:08.700 I mean, you saw the vice president speaking about this on Twitter this morning, actually,

00:07:12.480 or X as we call it now, talking about how prayer is being misunderstood

00:07:15.860 by all of these people who are speaking out against it.

00:07:19.200 Prayer, in the most fundamental sense, is asking the help of God,

00:07:23.060 not just for God's help, but in ultimately living a virtuous life

00:07:26.880 and ultimately, hopefully, for many people, going to heaven.

00:07:29.220 A lot of these people who are talking about prayer act as if it's just a thought

00:07:32.800 when, in fact, most religious people who are praying to God

00:07:36.380 believe they're actually speaking to God.

00:07:38.460 And a lot of these lawmakers are misunderstanding that.

00:07:41.000 But when you have these children who are literally praying as they were killed,

00:07:44.680 you have these elderly parishioners.

00:07:48.140 I believe there were two or three elderly parishioners in their 80s

00:07:51.320 who were praying at daily mass.

00:07:53.060 I go to the daily mass as often as I can.

00:07:55.180 I'm sure you do, too, Michael, as a Catholic.

00:07:57.000 Like, this is a vulnerable space.

00:07:59.780 This is a very deeply sacred space for Catholics,

00:08:04.320 and they're worshiping God in this space.

00:08:06.100 They should never have had to deal with this horrible shooter coming

00:08:09.740 and targeting them for their religious beliefs, as it appears.

00:08:13.680 I had someone compare it to me yesterday to the scene in The Patriot,

00:08:17.820 where this really tragic scene where the church is burned down

00:08:22.240 as these faithful Christians are inside praying.

00:08:25.620 It's not unlike that.

00:08:26.620 You know, this trans-identifying shooter barricaded the doors

00:08:29.300 so that some of these people couldn't get out.

00:08:31.740 It's just incredibly tragic.

00:08:33.120 And so I think to every American, to every Catholic around the country

00:08:36.380 and around the world, this is a deeply, deeply sad and unsettling day.

00:11:14.420 And they're told by a doctor that if you don't pretend that your kid is the opposite sex,

00:11:32.480 But in any case, we know that the shooter was trans-identifying.

00:11:42.480 we know that he was obsessed with other mass shooters.

00:11:49.400 and things that we've had translated because some of it wasn't even in English.

00:11:55.080 Lately, I have been entranced into the world of mass shooters.

00:11:57.800 I've known about these events for years,

00:11:59.720 even at the time being morbidly obsessed.

00:12:04.880 So, and there are many, many, that's just one line, gives you the point.

00:12:09.080 Obsessed with these mass shootings.

00:12:10.280 So, two things on the mental front.

00:12:12.780 One, he was transed as a kid.

00:12:15.140 Two, human beings are mimetic creatures.

00:12:17.700 We imitate others.

00:12:18.580 This is why one fears in the wake of suicide or a mass shooting or any major national event that there will be copycats.

00:12:26.180 It's just a mimetic aspect of our nature.

00:12:35.880 It's instantly, in all of these cases, you have the left trying to blame the right.

00:12:58.480 So, you'd say, okay, it looks pretty much someone on the left, right?

00:13:02.380 Then, you have on the scope, right above kill Trump now, it says, also, it says F-optics.

00:13:11.580 So, this, if you're not very, very online, you might not have heard this phrase before.

00:13:15.820 But it's a phrase that could be used by the left or the right to say, hey, I'm not going to couch my views in a way that is politically palatable or that is mainstream.

00:15:39.440 So, you say anti-Jewish, anti-Muslim, and then shoots up a Catholic church full of Catholic schoolchildren.

00:17:30.880 I hate God, I hate the Muslims, I hate, but it's, and then what's strange is the anti-Christianity is not even the most pronounced aspect of the journals and on the guns.
