00:02:19.980 the gay hat with the rainbow. And so what does he do? He writes just a little citation of the

00:02:26.600 verse from the book of Genesis where God establishes the rainbow as an enduring covenant

00:02:32.220 with mankind. Never again will I destroy the world in a flood. That's it. It doesn't even

00:02:36.840 write out the whole verse. It just says Genesis chapter and verse. And this was too much for the

00:02:42.340 MLB executives. MLB fans, basically conservative, not gay. And if they are gay, they're like, 0.99

00:03:33.080 on a baseball cap? A bunch of rainbow, pastel, blue and pink, gay, trans, LGBT colors. I think 0.97

00:03:46.120 no, no, no, this is against the rules. The writing on the cap violates our rules and consistent with

00:04:01.840 shamed for this. This is preposterous. It's anti-American. It might well be unconstitutional,

00:04:08.180 but it's definitely super duper lame. So let's hear from the player. Let's hear from Landon Roop.

00:04:15.320 Why did he put the passage on his hat in a postgame presser? He said, it's just about God's

00:04:20.860 covenant and a promise that he makes to us that, you know, his faithfulness and his mercy. That's

00:04:25.240 just kind of something I believe in. It's just, it's just kind of something. I just kind of

00:04:29.400 believe in God. I just kind of, it's, is it okay if I kind of believe in the Bible? Is that all

00:04:32.900 right? And I stand firm in that. And I'm thankful we live in a country where, you know, we have the

00:04:36.940 freedom to believe what you want and express what we want. Do we have that freedom? I thought we

00:04:40.920 did. MLB executives say you can't, you can't be a Christian and play baseball. Kind of what the

00:04:45.120 verse says, you know, what's it mean? The rainbow is a symbol of God's covenant to us and us as

00:04:49.560 believers to stand firm in that. There's no hate at all. It's just what I stand for and what I

00:04:53.740 stand in. I believe in God and that's me. The MLB execs, I mean, forget call your congressman.

00:04:58.420 Maybe you should call your congressman too, but write to the MLB. Call the MLB executives. Let

00:05:03.160 them know this is not acceptable. This is anti-Christian discrimination. It's super lame

00:19:27.000 sought freedom and peace, welcomes any understanding to end the war and the suffering of the Iranian

00:19:30.280 people. In Iran, no one except the remnants of the Malas and the Shah has wanted or wants war.

00:19:35.400 The effort to produce nuclear weapons, warmongering, and meddling in the countries of the region 0.94

00:19:38.780 are part of the survival strategy of the religious fascism ruling Iran, 0.86

00:19:42.380 and it will not abandon them as long as it can. 0.54

00:19:45.060 War is this regime's shield against popular uprisings,

00:19:49.640 while peace and a ceasefire are, as Khomeini put it, like poison for it. 0.79

00:20:13.500 I'm no Iran expert. I can't, in a granular detail, evaluate the reality of those claims.

00:20:19.400 I'll point out, though, that is true for radical regimes. Radical regimes are always trying to

00:20:24.560 keep the sense of the war, of the revolution going. Think of Fidel Castro, 0.78

00:20:28.580 rules Cuba for 60 years. Fidel Castro would always wear the military fatigues.

00:20:33.340 What was the motto? The motto was Viva Siempre la Revolución. The revolution's always going on.

00:20:38.280 All of these radical revolutionary military leaders, they're always wearing their military

00:20:42.840 fatigues because they need to appear as though they're always at war because it allows them to,

00:20:49.140 one, suppress civil rights in countries, but two, it encourages a population that otherwise would

00:20:54.740 be discontented to rally around the flag. This is what happened in Iran. This is what happened

00:21:00.020 in Iran during the Iran-Iraq war in the early 90s, or late 80s, whenever it was, the Iran-Iraq

00:21:05.540 war increased support for the Islamic regime in Iran. The Islamic regime, which wasn't terribly

00:21:11.260 popular, it increased support. There is evidence, obviously we don't have a lot of good social 0.84

00:21:15.380 science on this, but there is evidence that since the start of the most recent war in Iran,

00:21:19.460 support for the regime has increased. Pro-regime protests have increased. Anti-regime protests

00:21:26.120 have decreased. The idea that Trump is betraying the Iranian people, this is totally ridiculous. 0.97

00:21:31.800 Let's not forget, when Trump started the war, the causus belli, the argument for the war was

00:21:36.320 Iran is close to getting a nuclear weapon, or Iran is close to the point at which its ballistic

00:21:45.680 nuclear weapon, they can get it quickly, however you want to describe it. Trump's argument was

00:21:49.500 Iran cannot get a nuke, so we're going in to stop Iran from getting a nuke. But he also left open

00:21:55.100 the possibility. He said, hey, by the way, Iranians, we've been hearing for decades about

00:21:58.440 how you want to overthrow the mullahs and take back your country. So now's your chance. This is

00:22:02.220 Trump almost verbatim. Finally, to the great proud people of Iran, I say tonight that the hour of

00:22:09.880 your freedom is at hand. Stay sheltered. Don't leave your home. It's very dangerous outside. 0.99

00:30:51.480 ongoing relating to Gavin Newsom. I'm told they're focused on his wife's taxes, which we've covered

00:30:59.580 time. And Newsom's chief of staff. They did not originate from the main DOJ, but are out of

00:31:05.340 Sacramento and involve whistleblowers per the source. The DOJ is declining to comment.

00:31:19.140 from the DOJ that was released under Biden. They're investigating this. The chief of staff

00:31:26.480 to Gavin Newsom got caught in some pretty serious corruption. Also, there were allegations of

00:31:35.680 Gavin Newsom now. This actually isn't coming from Trump. It would be fine if it is. We absolutely

00:31:42.100 should wield the government properly, not unjustly, but properly to investigate corruption,

00:31:48.120 which is manifest throughout the Democrat party, and especially in California, California

00:31:52.780 Democrats who just stole an election from Spencer Pratt, or stole a runoff at least from Spencer

00:31:56.940 Pratt in LA, that would be good. But Newsom's nervous. You can tell Newsom's nervous because

00:32:36.060 But you've seen this shadow campaign for the Republican presidential nomination being waged,

00:32:41.100 not between the vice president, J.D. Vance, and the secretary of state, Marco Rubio,

00:32:45.240 but between various supporters of those two guys. By all accounts, those two guys get along great.

00:32:51.180 I think they're legitimately friends. Rubio has endorsed Vance. Vance has said many nice things

00:32:55.960 about Rubio. And the shadow campaign is being waged by partisans and ideologues who in many

00:33:02.380 ways, I think, are projecting onto Vance and Rubio their own wishes. I think some people

00:33:08.220 are projecting onto Vance this purely populist, purely isolationist kind of view. There's really

00:33:14.120 no evidence of that at all. And people are projecting onto Rubio this kind of neocon

00:33:18.480 hawkishness return to the Bush era that I think is unfair as well. I don't think that really

00:33:23.820 accurately describes either of those guys. But furthermore, those two guys have made very clear

00:33:30.220 they're not running against each other. Rubio actually endorsed Vance for president. And Donald

00:33:34.380 Trump, who is the king, who is the Caesar, who just hosted the gladiatorial games, he has yet

00:33:40.280 again, the most recent statement he's made on the Vance-Rubio supposed shadow campaign is from just

00:33:47.460 a couple of weeks ago, where he once again endorses them running as a ticket. It's a good idea. And

00:33:56.400 I was interested when you talked about how you studied Marco Rubio and J.D. Vance as they

00:34:01.120 interact what is their interaction and how do they relate i study to see if they like each other

00:34:48.340 cool to be there, where President Trump says, he goes, Marco, you're doing such a good job. I hope

00:34:51.960 you never run for office again. It's like, oh, that's a tough compliment. That's a backhanded

00:34:57.860 comment. He's saying, you're doing such a good job as Secretary of State. I hope you remain in

00:35:01.280 this position. Other times he said, I hope he runs on the ticket with J.D. Vance, who's obviously

00:35:06.520 the heir apparent. You're seeing this unity from Trump down into the relationship between Vance

00:35:14.180 and Rubio. I believe Trump's perception of that now. It's really kind of noise that's happening

00:35:20.480 among the chattering class and among ideologues who aren't even really connected to those two guys
