00:00:00.000 I'm Howard Mackler. I spent my career building companies that help businesses solve problems.
00:00:04.840 Now I built SuperShore because I think business insurance is broken. Some brokers hand you a
00:00:09.860 policy, collect their commission, and disappear until renewal. Your business runs all year,
00:00:14.600 and so do the gaps and the risks. For companies with 25 or more employees,
00:00:18.980 whether you're the owner, CFO, or HR manager, SuperShore is built for you. We're licensed in
00:00:24.560 all 50 states, covering business insurance and employee benefits, with year-round support for
00:00:29.460 you and your team. You can go to supersure.com and use the fine print facts tool, which translates
00:00:35.060 your current policy into plain English, so you see what's common and what's not. The business
00:00:39.880 value calculator helps you estimate what your company is worth, so you know what actually
00:00:44.920 needs protecting. Go to supersure.com. All your policies in one place. Go to supersure.com.
00:00:51.660 That's supersure.com. You can thank me later. Paid for by Supersure Insurance Agency, LLC,
00:00:56.580 a licensed insurance agency.
00:00:58.600 Recently, our company's softball team
00:01:00.560 lost the big game by one run.
00:01:02.880 Then Dale tried to console us with the quote,
00:01:05.340 winning isn't everything.
00:01:07.200 Well, Dale and I are very different.
00:01:10.880 I get early payout from Bet365.
00:01:12.800 If my team goes up big, I get paid out instantly,
00:01:15.620 even if they blow the lead later.
00:01:17.600 Sound familiar, Dale?
00:01:19.380 Thanks, Bet365.
00:01:21.040 Must be 19 or older, Ontario only.

00:01:28.360 This episode is brought to you by Cardiff,

00:01:31.720 with over $12 billion funded since 2004,
00:01:34.400 applying under three minutes for same-day funding
00:01:35.980 up to $500,000 at cardiff.co slash Knowles.
00:01:39.980 New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani has announced
00:01:42.460 that his new government-run grocery stores
00:01:44.980 will make sure the discounted goods
00:01:47.760 are going to New Yorkers by checking ID cards,
00:01:51.540 which means, if I understand Democrats' logic
00:01:54.620 on IDs correctly, that Mamdani plans to starve women and minorities. We will examine why Mamdani
00:02:02.980 apparently wants black people to vote but doesn't want them to eat. Then Planned Parenthood promotes
00:02:09.120 abortion as gender-affirming care, a statement, ironically, both misogynistic and transphobic.
00:02:15.540 Very well done, Planned Parenthood. And the hits keep coming from Francesca Hong as Republicans
00:02:21.280 fight to keep a bipolar anti-white socialist out of the Wisconsin governor's mansion.
00:02:26.940 I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:02:47.260 Welcome back to the show. President Trump is doing a solid for Japan.
00:02:51.280 in supporting the Japanese yen. And he's explaining why he is doing that. You know,
00:02:57.800 we got to shore up our international support with this Iran war going on. And Japan has been great
00:03:02.200 to us, except for just one time, President Trump will explain. There was just one little
00:03:07.440 misunderstanding we had with Japan. We'll get to that in a moment. First, though, I want to tell
00:03:12.080 you about Pure Talk. Go to puretalk.com slash Knowles, K-N-A-W-L-E-S. Every parent has to answer
00:03:18.020 one of the defining questions of modern childhood. When does my kid get a phone? Never is the answer.
00:03:24.280 No, eventually your kid's probably going to need a phone. So whatever your answer to that,
00:03:28.600 one thing is certain. If you were adding another phone line to the family, there is absolutely no
00:03:32.880 reason to pay a fortune for it. Kids have an incredible talent for making expensive things
00:03:38.440 unexpectedly temporary. They lose their phones. They leave them on the bus. They crack the screen.
00:03:42.500 Every parent knows the phone is not a constitutional right. It's a privilege. So
00:03:46.020 is one of the many, many reasons I love Pure Talk. Right now, for the first time ever,
00:03:50.580 Pure Talk is offering any plan for just $15 a month for your first three months.
00:03:56.760 Any plan. Even the unlimited high-speed data plans, even their top-tier plan, just $15 a month.
00:04:02.140 That is a savings of up to $150. Here's another reason it's perfect for families. There's no
00:04:06.880 service contract and no cancellation fee. So if the grades seriously fall off a cliff or if your
00:04:11.460 teenager suddenly forgets the phones come with responsibilities, you can change your mind without
00:04:15.480 being locked into a long-term contract. I love Pure Talk. Best service, best customer service,
00:04:21.060 best people running it. I've had my Pure Talk phone for six years now or thereabouts. Do not
00:04:25.800 wait. The offer is only around a limited time. puretalk.com slash Knowles to claim the offer.
00:04:29.900 That is puretalk.com slash K-N-W-L-E-S to start saving today. So Ron Mamdani, the economic
00:04:37.280 populace, the socialist mayor of New York, ran on and is carrying out his plan to have government
00:04:43.880 run grocery stores, because he says groceries are too expensive. So you have New York state
00:04:48.000 Democrats who are proposing to lower grocery prices by mandating a 10% discount. Grocery
00:04:55.880 stores have a 2% margin, by the way, but they're going to mandate a 10% discount. And somehow,
00:05:00.480 through the magic of socialism, that will bring grocery prices down.
00:05:03.920 Mamdani has a slightly different socialist idea. He is going to open up government run
00:05:08.240 grocery stores in New York. He's going to open up five of them. And this raises a question,
00:05:13.760 which is, well, how are you going to make sure that the groceries are going to the New Yorkers
00:05:18.800 who need it? The New Yorkers are paying for it through their taxes. So how are you going to make
00:05:22.940 sure that people aren't coming in from New Jersey or Connecticut, Pennsylvania, for that matter,
00:05:27.900 to buy their groceries? How are you going to make sure that the system works? And Momdani
00:05:32.280 has a simple answer for that, ID cards. How are you going to keep people from taking advantage
00:05:39.500 of that you know that deal basically and is there going to be a limit on the
00:05:44.180 number of items that someone can take that are discounted at that level from
00:05:47.480 that essential basket so our RFP makes very clear that this is a program for
00:05:52.760 New Yorkers to be able to put food on the table not a program for people to be
00:05:56.540 able to make a quick buck through reselling I'm going to pass it over to
00:05:59.220 our EDC head GPAC to add some additional details yes if you look at our RFP for
00:06:04.580 the operator we are looking to make sure that we target New Yorkers whether
00:06:09.440 it be a sort of a library card-esque. And also we manage who's buying and that is focused on
00:06:15.920 everyday New Yorkers. So we are mindful of that. And so we're going to make sure that we have all
00:06:21.400 the things in place to make sure that that does not happen. Whoa, hold on. Wait, did you see that
00:06:26.080 little thing she's sandwiched right in there? They asked Mom Donnie, how are you going to make
00:06:29.560 sure this is going to the people you want it to go to? He says, well, I'm going to turn it over
00:06:32.380 to the person running it. The person running it says, yeah, yeah, we want to make sure that this
00:06:37.200 is really targeting New Yorkers, maybe through kind of like a library ID card or something like
00:06:41.260 that. And we're going to make sure it's getting to the people that it needs to get to. Hold up,
00:06:44.600 what was that thing you mumbled in the middle there? A library card-esque ID system? What?
00:06:55.340 An ID card. But I have been reliably informed by all the Democrats, not just the radical socialists.
00:07:03.960 I've been reliably informed by Chuck Schumer that black people and Hispanic people and women,
00:07:12.440 all women, can't get ID cards. That's why we can't pass the Save America Act.
00:07:18.520 That's why we can't have voter ID, even though voter ID has greater than 85% support among all
00:07:23.020 voters. Because if you require an ID, women and black people and Hispanic people are much too
00:07:30.680 stupid to get IDs. They just can't figure it out. Even if you tell them, you know, you just go to
00:07:35.020 the office, you just, you get your ID for this. Yeah, you just don't know how to do it. So you
00:07:42.340 can't. Now we're, hold on. Now we're saying that we want women and black people and Hispanic people
00:07:49.980 to vote, but not to eat. How are they going to, how are they going to go vote if they can't eat?
00:07:55.880 they're going to be so tired. They're going to be so frail and weak. This doesn't make a lot of
00:08:01.920 sense, does it? Well, Mamdani's office realized this is kind of a bad look because the question
00:08:10.800 specifically gets to the issue that drives the voter ID debate, which is, well, what about fraud?
00:08:16.200 You know, one, there are going to be people. The other reason the grocery stores aren't going to
00:08:19.260 work is people are going to go buy the groceries at a 30% discount and then resell them at a 20%
00:08:23.760 discount under the market prices. And so people are just going to hoard it. And so you're either
00:08:28.500 going to have to ration the food, or you're going to have to stringently enforce some kind of ID
00:08:33.780 mechanism. And the rationing is what you actually get in socialist societies. And with the ID,
00:08:39.560 it still probably won't work, but at least then you can try to keep out the non-New Yorkers.
00:08:44.620 But if the black people and the women and the Hispanics can get IDs to go get groceries,
00:08:49.400 Surely they can get IDs to go vote, right?
00:08:52.020 Well, spokesman for the New York mayor's office trying to clean up his mess responds to the Daily Wire.
00:09:00.280 Says, comparisons to voter ID laws or the SAVE Act simply do not apply.
00:09:05.180 This is not an identification system, nor is it a mechanism to verify who someone is, where they live, or how much they earn.
00:09:12.360 It is a practical inventory management tool to ensure affordable groceries remain available for
00:09:19.140 the people who need them instead of being cleared off shelves for resale. Wait, hold on. What?
00:09:23.760 Hold on. It says it's not an identification system, but that's not true. The mayor's office
00:09:30.060 with Momdani there saying, hey, I'm going to turn it over to the person running this thing.
00:09:33.180 And then the lady running this thing says, yeah, we're going to have an ID system.
00:09:35.880 You're saying it's not an ID system. She compares it to a library card. A library card's an ID
00:09:39.580 system. That's what a library card does. In fact, basically, the only thing a library card does
00:09:46.400 is tell the library who you are to identify you and to make sure that you're a resident of the
00:09:52.940 place that has the library. So that's just a complete lie from the New York City mayor's
00:09:58.660 office to the Daily Wire and to the other outlets that they're trying to clean up with right now.
00:10:02.820 It's not an ID system, nor is it a mechanism to verify who someone is. That's the same thing.
00:10:07.540 So they're just repeating themselves.
00:10:10.440 It's not a mechanism to show where they lived.
00:10:13.360 Again, those are all three, the same kind of thing.
00:10:16.860 They're all encapsulated in the library card comparison
00:10:19.660 that the New York City mayor's office made
00:10:21.920 or how much they earn, maybe not.
00:10:24.240 I guess the grocery stores, I guess, are open to everybody.
00:10:27.640 But it is those things.
00:10:29.120 I mean, this is just a blatant lie
00:10:30.980 to clean up for a Freudian slip,
00:10:33.580 a Freudian slip where you say one thing
00:10:34.900 and mean your mother.
00:10:36.000 This was a Freudian slip.
00:10:37.100 They said, well, yeah, the way to prevent fraud is to have ID.
00:10:39.880 Ooh, ooh, yikes.
00:10:41.980 Ooh, I shouldn't have admitted that.
00:10:43.800 So then their explanation, their alternative explanation is,
00:10:47.380 it's an inventory management tool to make sure the groceries are available to,
00:10:54.160 what, so that you can figure out how much to stock, how many boxes of cereal to stock.
00:10:59.180 You don't need an ID card for that.
00:11:00.880 You don't need a library card for that or whatever they're pretending this card would be.
00:11:05.480 you you would just have your inventory accounts you would you would have a spreadsheet of your
00:11:11.580 inventory in other words you don't need to know anything about the consumers in order to manage
00:11:17.420 inventory you just have to see how much product is going off the shelves this is not only a blatant
00:11:23.520 lie from the new york city mayor's office this is a pathetic lie this doesn't convince anybody
00:11:29.060 i mean i'm not sure that the spokesman for the mayor's office who wrote this comment
00:11:33.900 understands the English language. He certainly doesn't think that we understand the English
00:11:38.240 language. Totally pathetic. I'm glad they admitted this. They realized their error a
00:11:46.280 little bit too late. But we now have an admission from the leader of the socialist wing of the
00:11:53.540 Democrat Party, one of the top two leaders, it's Mamdani and AOC, who says, yeah, well,
00:11:58.260 the way to prevent fraud is to have ID. Okay, well, if that's true, then we need voter ID.
00:12:05.840 The vast majority of voters, both parties, understand that to prevent voter fraud,
00:12:12.980 you need voter ID. To prevent grocery store fraud, you need grocery store ID.
00:12:18.000 If the groceries are being sold below market price as part of a government program,
00:12:22.280 to prevent that fraud, you need grocery ID. And groceries are really important.
00:12:26.860 cheap groceries are great. I've been a Costco member and a Costco customer since I was
00:12:33.020 two. Cheap groceries are great. But in our democracy, as pertains to our political order,
00:12:41.020 the integrity of our election systems, the integrity of our politics is actually more
00:12:46.180 important. That's a higher good even than cheap bananas. That's why you need it.
00:12:53.940 So now everyone agrees.
00:12:55.580 All the Republican politicians agree that we need voter ID.
00:12:59.200 Virtually all of the voters agree that we need voter ID.
00:13:03.220 All races, all sexes, all parties.
00:13:06.960 The one holdout, it was the Democrat politicians who don't want voter ID
00:13:11.560 because they know, as they just admitted, that voter ID prevents fraud.
00:13:16.300 And they want fraud because they want to steal elections.
00:13:19.640 And they rely on voter fraud to steal elections.
00:13:23.620 Now, it's not just the conservatives who are whining about Mamdani.
00:13:28.600 I think a lot of people are starting to realize that what they thought they were getting when
00:13:32.860 they elected this envious, resentful socialist is not so great.
00:13:37.480 It was one thing when the envious, resentful socialist was just going to go for all of
00:13:41.300 their enemies.
00:13:42.540 But now, as always happens with socialism, they start coming after their own as well.
00:13:48.940 And there's one very prominent lib, Scott Galloway.
00:13:53.020 I think I debated this guy actually on Piers Morgan's show a little while ago.
00:13:56.580 Scott Galloway, he's an NYU professor.
00:13:58.340 He's a huge lib.
00:13:59.420 He's the leader of the resist and unsubscribe movement to stop ICE by pressuring the businesses
00:14:05.460 to resist the Trump administration.
00:14:08.020 This is a dyed-in-the-wool liberal, should love Mamdani, loves all the liberal politicians
00:14:14.780 who is now being doxxed by the mayor that he would support.
00:14:20.080 First, before we get to that, I want to tell you about preborn.
00:14:22.720 Go to preborn.com slash Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S.
00:14:26.960 Every generation has to ask itself, what kind of people are we going to be?
00:14:30.740 There are moments when someone is frightened, overwhelmed,
00:14:32.960 and convinced that they're completely alone.
00:14:35.400 Sometimes all it takes to change the course of a life
00:14:37.600 is for one person to step forward and say, we're here, there is hope.
00:14:40.860 That is exactly what preborn network clinics do.
00:14:42.940 a mother facing an unexpected pregnancy is welcomed with compassion, practical support,
00:14:46.940 and a free ultrasound. That ultrasound changes everything. When a mother sees her baby and
00:14:50.760 hears that tiny heartbeat for the first time, fear gives way to hope. In fact, more than 80%
00:14:55.640 of abortion-vulnerable women choose life after seeing their baby on an ultrasound at a pre-born
00:15:01.020 network clinic. This is one of the best ROIs you are going to get on how you spend your dollars,
00:15:07.120 especially because pre-born fundraises for its admin costs separately. So the overhead and all
00:15:11.540 that they fundraise separately. Every dollar you give is going towards saving babies. When you
00:15:15.280 spend $28 for an ultrasound, you increase that baby's chance at life by 80%. $140 rescues five
00:15:23.820 babies. If you're a business owner, please consider making a larger tax-deductible gift.
00:15:27.500 A donation of $1,000, $2,000, $10,000, or even $15,000 can provide an ultrasound machine for
00:15:32.920 a needy clinic, helping save countless lives for years to come. Get involved today. I personally
00:15:36.680 to support this charity, I encourage you to as well. Dial pound 250, say keyword baby. That's
00:15:41.220 pound 250, keyword baby. Go to preborn.com slash Knowles, Canada, W-L-E-S, preborn.com slash Knowles,
00:15:46.180 Canada, W-L-E-S. Together, we can save lives one heartbeat at a time. Big Libs, Scott Galloway,
00:15:52.400 big resistor, true blue dem. He's very upset because in principle, the socialists winning
00:16:02.100 can be a great thing in principle so run mamdani's pied-a-terre tax which is just going to tax the
00:16:08.800 really rich people the really rich people that we don't like the ones who don't even really live in
00:16:13.380 new york he's just going to take their money and that's oh in principle that's fine doesn't really
00:16:17.000 affect me well now as a result of that policy scott galloway has been doxed and he can't believe
00:16:25.580 it happened. And I've been doxed. You've been doxed? What? Tell me.
00:16:32.400 Uh, so I don't know if you've heard, but Mayor Momdani has decided to release a list of the
00:16:38.360 950,000 residences with addresses and names that might be eligible for his pied-à-terre tax. I
00:16:46.240 came out in favor of this tax. This is the definition. He's taken a legitimate source
00:16:52.080 of tax revenue and he's turning it into a wanted poster. And the question I would have is, other
00:16:57.840 than trying to identify and imply these people have done something wrong, and then 18 months
00:17:03.360 after a healthcare CEO was executed in the street and then published the list, what is the upside
00:17:10.400 here? Why is he doing this? Why is that? It just doesn't make any sense. This is the meme,
00:17:15.880 The meme that goes around, the voter absolutely crestfallen, sobbing, weeping, cannot believe that after voting for the leopards-eating-people's-faces party, the leopards would eat their own faces too.
00:17:34.360 No, I didn't think the leopard would eat my face.
00:17:38.100 Yeah, I mean, I voted for the leopards-eating-people's-faces party, but I didn't think the leopard would eat my face.
00:17:43.640 This doesn't make any sense.
00:17:45.880 I supported this tax when he thought it didn't affect him, when he thought that it was just
00:17:54.120 a kind of reasonable way to redistribute money.
00:17:58.060 And it's just a kind of an economic, you know, little, little, nice, little, nice, little
00:18:03.320 policy.
00:18:05.720 But in fact, socialism, as Winston Churchill tells us, is the gospel of envy.
00:18:12.840 It's not, it's certainly not charitable.
00:18:15.880 it's not just about spreading the wealth around. It's not about helping the poor.
00:18:21.080 It's about hurting the rich. Charity would be helping the poor. Envy is about taking something
00:18:28.340 away from someone. And that's really what socialism is about. When Mamdani suggested
00:18:33.780 this policy, when he proposed it, we were told it was going to affect about 31,000 people.
00:18:38.560 31,000, small number of people who have these nice sort of penthouses. And they're not even
00:18:43.140 there most of the time. They're barely New York City residents. That's fine. No big deal. It's
00:18:45.960 just them. Who cares about them? We hate them. But it's just going to be 31,000 people. And then
00:18:49.540 they announced, no, it's actually going to affect almost a million people. And not only are they
00:18:53.660 going to tax a million people, it's not just that it changes in the magnitude of the tax,
00:19:00.080 but we're going to publish their names and addresses. We're going to dox them,
00:19:06.360 as Galloway points out, right after the UnitedHealthcare CEO, Brian Thompson,
00:19:10.640 was murdered in cold blood by an envious radical leftist killer simply because he was a rich guy.
00:19:19.500 Mom Donnie says, hey, I'm going to publish a list of all these rich people.
00:19:23.060 This is the enemy's list. And Galloway says, why are you putting me on the list? I'm one of the
00:19:26.440 good ones. It's like these guys in the French Revolution. One of the cousins of King Louis
00:19:31.040 the 16th supported the revolution, cheered as his cousin the king was guillotined by the radicals.
00:19:40.640 just some months later, he himself would be guillotined as well. The revolution would eat
00:19:45.140 its own. The revolution always does. So it's delightful to watch this totally predictable
00:19:52.100 result occur and to see the shock and dismay on the faces of the left. But this should be a
00:19:59.440 warning to all of us as well, because it's not just going to end with the libs. They're going
00:20:04.660 to go after everybody. There's not a lot of rhyme or reason to it. They're going to get caught in
00:20:12.140 their total hypocrisy on the ID. They're not going to admit there's hypocrisy. They're going
00:20:17.380 to vomit out words saying this is not like voter ID. This is about inventory or whatever. It's
00:20:22.660 just words, words, words, because words mean nothing to these people. Words are not signs
00:20:27.640 that signify something. They're not a way of communicating using symbols that point to some
00:20:32.720 objective truth. Words for the left are understood merely as tools of manipulation
00:20:38.140 to accrue and exercise power. That's what it's about. And I think Scott Galloway is a relatively
00:20:46.300 smart guy. So deep down, I'm sure he probably knew that. He just never thought it was going
00:20:50.180 to come for him. And it came for him so fast. That's the only maybe somewhat surprising part.
00:20:56.920 it was so fast. Momdani just got elected and it came so fast. And that might wake some people up
00:21:08.160 in the midterm elections. It's the best thing we got going for us as Republicans. The economy is
00:21:12.520 a little shaky. The Iran war is unpopular and it's dragging on and on and on. Historically,
00:21:18.060 we should get wiped out in a landslide in the midterms. But the libs are so bad. There's a
00:21:23.820 slight chance we win, but it's scary if we lose. And by all accounts, we probably should lose.
00:21:28.860 Think about what's going to happen in Wisconsin. We talked yesterday about Francesca Hong.
00:21:33.020 She is this rabidly anti-white. She just hates white people. She's a socialist candidate in
00:21:39.500 Wisconsin in a very crowded field for the Democrat nomination for governor, and she is
00:21:45.120 running away with it. She's at 44%. The number two candidate is at 15, then 14.
00:21:51.620 the rest of them were down in low single digits. So the hits keep on coming with this woman.
00:21:58.220 You want to talk about resentment. You want to talk about the food industry.
00:22:01.360 Francesca Hong worked in the food industry, and she is claiming that the food industry itself,
00:22:10.080 Mom Donnie should take notes on these talking points. The food industry itself
00:22:13.660 is filled to the brim with white supremacy.
00:22:19.940 That is in the service industry.
00:22:22.520 We are finally having this conversation about, you know,
00:22:25.640 how our industry really did come from it
00:22:29.280 and kind of is rooted in white supremacy.
00:22:31.100 That tipping in itself, if we look at the history of tipping
00:22:35.340 and how racist it is and how it has kept wages low
00:22:38.800 for black people for a very long time.
00:22:42.580 Tipping is rooted in white supremacy. Now, this is a very funny, euphemistic way of describing
00:22:49.220 tipping because I've worked in the food industry. Two of my first three jobs were in the food
00:22:55.060 industry. I've worked more jobs than that in the food industry. Many people listening right now
00:23:00.300 will have worked in the food industry. And I have to ask, I know this is just anecdotal,
00:23:06.420 but the plural of anecdote is data. If you've worked in the food industry, whether you're
00:23:11.840 Asian, white, black, brown, whatever, if you've worked in the food industry, am I allowed to?
00:23:19.700 Who tips better? Would you say if you had two customers, a white guy and a black guy,
00:23:28.300 which guy is going to tip better? I know it's stereotypical. All stereotypes are true. That's
00:23:35.100 why there's stereotypes. It's not true of every individual, but tipping is rooted in white
00:23:40.020 supremacy is the funniest explanation I have ever heard as to why white people tip better than not
00:23:46.860 white people. But that's not even what she's talking about. What she's talking about is
00:23:51.860 white supremacy as a kind of miasma that permeates everything. White supremacy is a kind of original
00:23:59.120 sin that needs to be extirpated, not by the grace of God, but through sheer Pelagian tyranny of
00:24:05.960 will, which she will bring to bear as the governor of Wisconsin. Everything for this woman comes back
00:24:12.020 to how much she hates white people, including the way she speaks about her own child because her
00:24:17.860 ex-husband is white. We'll get to that in a second. First, I want to tell you about Helix.
00:24:21.560 Go to helixsleep.com slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S. People have become remarkably good at optimizing
00:24:26.560 their lives. They optimize their diet. They optimize their workouts. They optimize their
00:24:31.240 calendars and their morning routines. Then they go to bed on a 10-year-old mattress they've never
00:24:35.480 really liked. That seems kind of backwards, doesn't it? The most important thing for your
00:24:38.980 health, basically, is to sleep well. I love Helix. You take their sleep quiz. You find the mattress
00:24:44.780 that fits the way you want to sleep. It is a real noticeable upgrade. In fact, you might have seen,
00:24:49.200 I posted a ukulele video recently from my house, and you may have noticed there's a little box
00:24:54.560 in the quarter, someone did in the comments.
00:24:56.500 And they said, Michael, is that a Helix mattress?
00:24:57.920 Yes.
00:24:58.700 Because I even, I'm such a good host.
00:25:00.760 I just upgraded my guest bed to a Helix mattress.
00:25:04.820 I would have just kept the crappy old mattress
00:25:06.800 for save all the nice Helix for the kids and everybody.
00:25:09.400 But no, no, sweet little Lisa, she's really sweet.
00:25:12.020 She says, we got to get the Helix for the guests.
00:25:14.980 And it's great.
00:25:15.660 It's a huge upgrade.
00:25:16.840 You will love it too.
00:25:17.440 They have more than 20 different mattress models.
00:25:19.120 It's phenomenal.
00:25:19.720 129th sleep trial, backed by limited lifetime warranty.
00:25:23.000 go to helixsleep.com slash Knowles right now,
00:25:25.160 20% off site-wide exclusively for listeners of this show.
00:25:27.940 helixsleep.com slash Knowles, 20% off site-wide.
00:25:30.840 You will thank me later.
00:25:33.200 Here is the very likely future governor of Wisconsin
00:25:37.960 describing how deep her hatred of white people is,
00:25:42.720 that it affects how she views her own child.
00:25:46.140 I wasn't always aware of the struggles of other communities of color
00:25:49.740 because for me, assimilation always kind of took over.
00:25:53.240 And so I did marry, and proximity to whiteness continues, right?
00:26:00.260 My son is biracial.
00:26:02.420 He's half white and half Korean.
00:26:04.580 And I think navigating what his identity is
00:26:09.220 and how people perceive him is always at the back of my mind as well.
00:26:13.100 Okay, did you follow that?
00:26:14.440 Did you follow that train of thought?
00:26:16.580 So she starts to say that she was married to a white guy, but she's so disgusted by that fact.
00:26:22.760 I mean, this is a truly crazy woman.
00:26:24.360 She did a whole video about how she's bipolar and how she, I think, may have been committed to an institution.
00:26:31.360 Maybe she had very serious psychiatric interventions and cut herself.
00:26:37.000 And the woman is super-duper messed up.
00:26:39.400 And she blames all of it on white people.
00:26:43.160 So she marries a white guy.
00:26:45.080 I guess she divorced the white guy. For her, whiteness is bad, as she has made abundantly
00:26:52.640 clear. Whiteness is bad. And her proximity to whiteness continues because her kid is part white,
00:27:03.420 half white. And so that's in the back of her mind all the time.
00:27:09.160 this is a woman who is by her own logic expressing a difficulty loving her son
00:27:19.700 because he's white this is the woman who wants to govern wisconsin the role of a statesman
00:27:31.260 of a governor of a president of a political leader the chief job qualification is to love
00:27:38.880 his people, to love his constituents, to work toward the common good of the people.
00:27:45.440 That is what distinguishes good government from bad government. It's not just the form of
00:27:50.120 government. It's not monarchy or aristocracy or democracy. We go all the way back to antiquity,
00:27:55.620 all the way back to our friend Polybius, our friends Aristotle and St. Thomas Aquinas,
00:28:00.500 the whole Western political tradition. The difference between good government and bad
00:28:04.940 government. It's not the form or the procedure of the government. It's whether the rulers govern
00:28:10.460 for the common good, for the good of the people, or whether they rule for private interest.
00:28:15.860 This woman obviously doesn't like a lot of her constituents. Wisconsin is what, 75% white?
00:28:22.420 She constantly is talking about how much she doesn't like white people.
00:28:26.660 but consider this the fact that this woman thinks and would admit publicly that she feels a kind of
00:28:36.420 tension in the back of her mind all the time because of her proximity to whiteness in as much
00:28:42.480 as her child is half white that she has problems in her relationship to her own son tells you if
00:28:51.140 she can't fully love her son and accept her son for being white, half white. How on earth
00:28:57.780 is she going to care for her people that she would govern if she were a leader of Wisconsin?
00:29:04.340 This is as gigantic a red flag as you can possibly imagine. And so what is she going to do to work
00:29:12.460 through her deep-seated anti-white racism? Is she going to say, you know what, we just got to move
00:29:16.260 past that. I got to get past my biases. We got to turn the temperature down on racial strife. No,
00:29:20.700 She says she wants to increase racial tension by putting racial identity politics even more into the classroom.
00:29:30.640 Introducing legislation to add Asian Americans to school curricula in terms of, you know, adding us on to American Indians,
00:29:41.660 black Americans and Hispanics in terms of citizenship requirements for
00:29:46.880 what needs to be in curriculum for school boards, you know, going back to making sure that
00:29:53.680 talking about racial identity and the role of race is ubiquitous in classrooms.
00:29:58.620 And that, you know, people don't see that type of change as a threat.
00:30:05.200 One, I hate white people. Two, I need to make sure that we talk about racial identity all the
00:30:11.300 time in classrooms, much more than we are now. We've been talking about racial identity in
00:30:15.040 classrooms for my entire life. It really started to kick off in the 1990s. A little bit earlier
00:30:20.800 than that, maybe the 80s was really when it started to creep up. And she says, oh, it's
00:30:25.480 nowhere near enough. Whiteness is awful and evil and pervades everything. And white supremacy is
00:30:31.180 at the root of every terrible thing in the world. Everything, period, including tipping at
00:30:36.320 restaurants. And we need to talk a lot more about racial identity. So right now, the slightly good
00:30:41.660 news out of this is that our friends over at Kalshi have this crazy lady likely, slight edge,
00:30:52.080 likely losing the Wisconsin race. They've got Tom Tiffany up at 53% chance of being elected
00:30:59.000 governor. He's the Republican. But hold on, we're talking a razor thin margin here. 53 to 47,
00:31:05.700 48, depending on what time of day you're looking at it. This race is almost dead even
00:31:10.680 with this woman who says she's a literal crazy person who hates white people
00:31:19.440 on and on and on and on and on. Who is a socialist? We haven't even gotten to the
00:31:23.400 economic policies. Who is a socialist? On and on and on and on and on. She wants to cancel
00:31:28.540 Thanksgiving, for goodness sakes, the American holiday. We don't even have time to get to that
00:31:31.660 clip. We got to move on. But that's how dangerous this election is. That's how terrible the results
00:31:40.880 could be. We have all of the political wins against us right now, and the Democrats they're
00:31:45.020 going to elect, it's not Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. That would be bad enough. It's not Joe
00:31:49.680 Biden or even Barack Obama. That would be bad enough. It's these people. It's people who believe
00:31:56.180 things like that abortion is gender-affirming care. This is a Planned Parenthood post from
00:32:01.060 yesterday. And this is a magnificent statement that should be studied by political philosophers
00:32:06.160 for decades. Planned Parenthood comes out as wokeness is so unpopular, got blown out of the
00:32:13.680 water in the 2024 election. Dems are trying to run away from it, but they can't run away from
00:32:17.400 it. And it's, they realize it's a real tension. It's costing them a lot of their political
00:32:20.820 advantage in the midterms. Planned Parenthood comes out and says, abortion is gender affirming
00:32:26.800 care. A statement you will note, which is both misogynistic and transphobic. Because, let's
00:32:35.260 start with the trans part of it. If abortion is gender-affirming care, then that means that one's
00:32:42.040 gender has to align with one's biological sex. The transgender movement, from which we get this
00:32:47.080 idea of gender-affirming in the first place, gender-affirming, which really means gender
00:32:52.060 denying, gender affirming being used as this politically correct euphemism to say that if
00:32:56.920 you're a man, but you think you're a woman, and then people call you a woman, that's gender
00:33:01.920 affirming, even though it would be gender denying. In any case, when you say abortion is gender
00:33:06.400 affirming care, what you're saying is that your gender has to relate to your biological sex
00:33:11.060 because men who think they're women, trans women, can't have abortions. And ideology has not
00:33:17.180 advanced to the point that men cannot have abortions because abortions do require a uterus
00:33:21.980 and a growing baby to murder. So to say abortion is gender-affirming care is to say that
00:33:28.760 transgenderism is nonsense. It's totally fake. But on the flip side, that's the transphobic part
00:33:35.380 of it. On the other side of it is this kind of deep misogyny. So implicit, again, I don't think
00:33:41.620 these people understand what they're saying, but it is what they're saying. Implicit in this idea
00:33:45.740 that abortion is gender-affirming care.
00:33:48.900 You say, okay, your gender is your biological sex.
00:33:51.720 And if you kill your own child,
00:33:54.580 you are affirming your identity as a woman.
00:33:58.060 Can you imagine?
00:33:59.880 Can you imagine the thought process?
00:34:03.860 For these people, I think it's unwitting.
00:34:06.600 But to say that abortion is gender-affirming care
00:34:09.240 is to say that the most womanly thing you can do,
00:34:14.820 the most essentially woman thing you can do is to murder your child.
00:34:22.360 That's a pretty low view of women, isn't it?
00:34:24.800 It's a little bit of a dim outlook on women.
00:34:28.040 The ideal of the woman in Christianity is the Blessed Virgin Mary,
00:34:34.880 the Blessed Mother who gives birth to the Savior,
00:34:39.820 who is this perfect woman who is a mother, not just the mother of God, but Christ on the cross
00:34:51.060 gives her to us as our mother too, says to John the apostle, behold your mother.
00:34:58.040 And in speaking to the apostle John, he's speaking to all of us, behold your mother.
00:35:03.400 And in this satanic inversion, Planned Parenthood says, no, no, no, no. The perfect woman,
00:35:08.380 the perfect ideal of womanhood is not being a mother. It's not having a child. It's not
00:35:15.480 mothering. It's murdering your child. Very, very dim view of women. And what it really shows you
00:35:24.340 practically, because they weren't thinking that deeply about this. It's just like Mom Donnie
00:35:28.700 and his deputy saying that, yeah, well, the way we're going to prevent fraud in the grocery
00:35:32.780 stores is to have ID cards. Oops. Oops. I shouldn't have said that. And then they have
00:35:37.740 to walk it back. Well, it's just like that, Planned Parenthood. What they were practically
00:35:41.580 trying to say is that what they do is abortions. Planned Parenthood offers other stuff, and they
00:35:46.680 made big hay about this because they want to get federal funding, and they want to circumvent rules
00:35:50.820 against funding abortion. So what they say is, no, no, no, we give out condoms. We do
00:35:55.620 mammograms. They don't actually give mammograms out. They just lie about that. But they say,
00:35:59.720 no, no, we do other services. We have gender-affirming services. This is now a big part
00:36:06.680 of Planned Parenthood's business. Planned Parenthood gives estrogen to men, gives testosterone to
00:36:13.280 women, gives puberty blockers to kids, gives referrals for the transgender mutilations.
00:36:18.580 That's been a big part of their business because it's a growing segment of the sexual revolution,
00:36:23.200 of sexual debauchery, is all this transgender stuff. So Planned Parenthood says, well,
00:36:26.780 we got to get in on that business. So they start to get in on the trans stuff. But
00:36:30.820 what their business is really about is abortion. It was never about giving out condoms. It was
00:36:37.140 never about health screenings. It was never about mammograms. It was never about even the
00:36:40.520 transgender stuff. Planned Parenthood exists to kill babies. That's what it is for. Everything
00:36:48.400 about Planned Parenthood comes back to killing babies. Every dollar that goes to Planned
00:36:53.060 Parenthood, whether you give personally through your donations, which I don't recommend,
00:36:57.140 or the taxpayer money that Planned Parenthood gets, which I also don't recommend,
00:37:01.840 every dollar ultimately is for killing babies. That's what they're saying.
00:37:07.500 Abortion is gender-affirming care. Everything has to come back to abortion for Planned Parenthood,
00:37:14.020 which is an indictment, not just of the way it views the trans people, the trans movement,
00:37:18.280 because it unwittingly has just undermined the entire trans movement. It doesn't even
00:37:23.620 come back to just how they view women. They've unwittingly undermined women. They have just
00:37:29.380 given the most viciously misogynistic take on women you've ever heard in your entire life.
00:37:33.880 But what they're really admitting is their whole business is about abortion. And if their whole
00:37:37.580 business is about abortion, they should be defunded. They should be outlawed and their
00:37:43.360 leaders should be prosecuted. But at the very least, they need to be defunded. They're telling
00:37:49.720 you themselves. All they want is abortion. Time to defund. I'm Howard Mackler. I spent my career
00:37:57.000 building companies that help businesses solve problems. Now I built SuperShore because I think
00:38:01.800 business insurance is broken. Some brokers hand you a policy, collect your commission,
00:38:06.460 and disappear until renewal. Your business runs all year, and so do the gaps and the risks.

00:39:08.840 big, I get paid out instantly, even if they blow the lead later. Sound familiar, Dale? Thanks,

00:39:26.800 pal James Tallarico down in Texas, who is now, he's made some really bad arguments recently.
00:39:34.540 he was just whining alongside. He was nodding and lamenting the fact that a black teenager
00:39:41.780 was prosecuted for murdering a white teenager in cold blood. He said, oh, isn't it terrible?
00:39:46.360 That's white supremacy. It's that white supremacy. You know what white supremacy leads to? It leads
00:39:52.880 to tipping, and it leads to white people being murdered, that dastardly white supremacy.
00:39:57.520 But Tallarico is now making a subtler argument. He's going viral for this.
00:40:01.180 He's arguing that his supposed Christian faith, which is fake for him, but he pretends to it.
00:40:08.180 His Christian faith tells him that Jesus proves that healthcare is a human right.
00:40:15.460 We'll get to that momentarily, and we'll get to the Japanese and to the Oxford Union,
00:40:19.400 maybe to Iran.
00:40:20.040 But first, my favorite comment yesterday is from Makhan.
00:40:24.440 Michael, when are you coming to Serbia?
00:40:26.940 Pick this comment as your favorite,
00:40:28.460 and I'm buying you a ticket to visit your future favorite country in Europe.
00:40:31.380 Bring Mr. Davies and Professor Jacob with you.
00:40:33.260 This is very exciting.
00:40:34.080 I always love hearing, you know, the show is listened to all over the world,
00:40:37.920 and I'm always delighted if I'm traveling somewhere kind of exotic,
00:40:41.300 and someone comes up to me and says, oh, you know, I love your show.
00:40:43.700 You know, it's like, oh, that's cool.
00:40:45.280 I kind of, sometimes I forget that the show is seen and listened to all over the world.
00:40:49.240 But Serbia, that's a cool one.
00:40:50.920 So I can only take you up on your offer if you exclude Mr. Davies and Professor Jacob.
00:40:56.280 If you exclude them, or at the very least, you know, if we're going to have to bring them,
00:41:00.460 if you let me check them in my luggage, then maybe. But I appreciate that. I appreciate
00:41:03.880 the invitation to Serbia. Hello to all of the Serbians listening. James Tallarico,
00:41:08.880 trying to bring the Democrats back to a little moderation, trying to make them seem kind of
00:41:13.020 normal after the Tallarico failures and the Francesca Hongs and the Nazi rapist up in Maine
00:41:18.560 who got replaced by the guy who had kids with his cousin. And, you know, the Dem candidates
00:41:22.940 are looking really bad.
00:41:24.120 So Tallarico, trying to bring it back to normal,
00:41:25.960 trying to speak to normal Americans, Christians,
00:41:28.180 to promote his more socialist schemes.
00:41:32.200 Let's check out his exegesis.
00:41:35.920 Healthcare is a human right.
00:41:37.940 It is not a privilege.
00:41:40.020 I just, since we are in church,
00:41:41.460 and because I said BS earlier,
00:41:43.140 if you read our scriptures,
00:41:46.480 if you read the New Testament,
00:41:48.200 what does Jesus spend most of his time doing?
00:41:51.420 It's not, well, you already know, okay.
00:41:54.020 It's not preaching, it's not teaching, it is healing, healing the sick.
00:41:59.620 And in Matthew 25, Scripture says that's how we will be judged and how we will be saved,
00:42:05.840 by healing the sick, by feeding the hungry, by welcoming the stranger, by visiting the
00:42:10.280 prisoner.
00:42:11.160 Okay, so I don't want to get to his kind of cloudy exegesis, you know, generally his theology
00:42:18.380 is really messed up.
00:42:19.180 He says God is non-binary, and he says the Blessed Virgin Mary promotes abortion.
00:42:23.800 He's in line with Planned Parenthood on that point.
00:42:25.980 So this is a vile, vile heretic and a guy who is much closer to the Antichrist than to Christ.
00:42:31.840 But just on the point he's making, notice what he says.
00:42:36.040 He says, healthcare is a human right.
00:42:40.400 That is to say, healthcare is something we deserve.
00:42:43.900 And the proof is that Jesus heals the sick in the New Testament.
00:42:49.180 that does not follow. That is a non sequitur.
00:42:55.440 What Jesus is doing is giving us grace. We do not deserve to be forgiven of our sins.
00:43:01.580 We do not deserve to be healed. We do not deserve much of anything at all because we sin,
00:43:10.120 because this world has fallen, because we are not God, because we cannot save ourselves.
00:43:15.200 So what Christ shows us is this overflowing of grace that he will save us, not through our own
00:43:23.580 merits, but through his merits. And James Tallarico, once again, a kind of satanic perversion,
00:43:32.040 says what we can conclude from this is we deserve healing, we deserve forgiveness,
00:43:38.540 we deserve salvation, which is a downright Pelagian, to repeat the word from earlier in
00:43:45.120 the show. Yeah, it's really good to help people. Charity is really good. We are called to be
00:43:52.600 charitable. We were told that if we don't have charity, we don't have anything. We can have faith,
00:43:58.260 we can have hope, we can have all of the cardinal virtues, but if we don't have charity, we're like
00:44:01.380 a clanging gong. But what he's talking about here is not really charity. He's not charitable
00:44:09.760 at all when he talks about his opponents. And what he's talking about here is really an inversion
00:44:17.080 of the gospel message. No surprise from a man who says he's learned more about faith from Islam than
00:44:21.920 he has from Christian writers. He's learned more, in effect, from Saeed Qutb than he has from St.
00:44:26.880 Paul checks out. No, that's, see, it proves that we deserve it. Actually, what scripture tells me
00:44:32.480 is we all deserve death and that we are saved by grace, actually. Okay. Speaking of death,
00:44:38.840 just a magnificent clip. There's not even that, this'll get into the Iran war, I guess, a little
00:44:43.080 bit, but President Trump was on Air Force One. He was doing an interview. He was being asked about
00:44:49.440 this on-again, off-again strikes on Iran. They're apparently working on a peace deal again. We'll
00:44:53.320 see. Iran says they're going to have control over the Strait of Hormuz, which would be
00:44:56.860 geopolitical catastrophe for the United States. Rubio has discussed that. But the United States
00:45:02.540 says, no, no, no, they're not going to have control over the Strait of Hormuz. So it's a
00:45:04.940 on-again, off-again war. Will they, won't they? The Ayatollah loves me. He loves me not.
00:45:10.420 So President Trump was asked about other geopolitical affairs on Air Force One.
00:45:13.340 And he's asked specifically about why he's trying to support Japan, why he's going to
00:45:17.440 bail Japan out as they're having trouble with the yen. Here's his answer.
00:45:22.000 Mr. President, why is the U.S. intercating to support the Japan yen?
00:45:26.860 at this time? To support who? To support the Japanese currency.
00:45:30.580 Because we have a good relationship with Japan. We're very strong, very, very strong financially.
00:45:37.980 And they are, they have a weakening yen, and they wanted a little bit of help. And we're
00:45:42.700 always there for Japan. Japan's been very good to us, with the exception, of course, of Pearl Harbor.
00:45:48.680 I just love it so much. I don't even know. I guess the political import of this is that
00:45:56.840 Trump is actually very good geopolitically. He's getting knocked right now because of the Iran
00:46:01.220 war. Iran, just such an obstacle for the United States for 50 years. But he really does have a
00:46:07.580 great sense of geopolitics. And he has a very good sense of relationships. And he's always
00:46:11.140 knocked for offending our NATO allies or whatever. But what does he do? He actually gets our NATO
00:46:15.440 allies to contribute more to NATO, which actually strengthens our NATO allies. He's knocked for
00:46:20.080 you know, having a working relationship with Vladimir Putin or Xi or Kim Jong-un for that
00:46:26.720 matter. But he actually has a good grasp on geopolitics. And I just love, he never loses
00:46:31.240 the showbiz of it. Why are you supporting Japan? Yeah, Japan has been an ally since World War II,
00:46:36.600 and we've helped build up Japan, and we got a good relationship, and Trump was buddies with Abe.
00:46:41.040 And he goes, look, Japan has been very good to us, with the exception of Pearl Harbor.
00:46:47.480 Okay, next question. Just a really pithy, beautiful way to say it. I have very little
00:46:52.300 political import derived from that beyond it. Okay. Speaking of Iran, though, President Trump
00:46:58.480 posts, says, the USA is locked and loaded and ready to go against the Islamic Republic of Iran
00:47:03.940 at levels of military strength, power not seen since World War II. Despite this, we have just
00:47:09.880 been asked by Iran and other Middle Eastern countries to hold off any attack in that the
00:47:14.220 perimeters of a deal has been agreed to. This would include the immediate, complete, and total
00:47:18.400 opening of the Hormuz Strait and an end to Iran's nuclear threat. Based on this request, I have
00:47:22.860 agreed for the future benefit of the world and likewise the survival of a successful and prosperous
00:47:27.420 Iran to cancel the attack subject to being able to rapidly make a deal. Country of Israel joins
00:47:33.920 me in this commitment. Get to work, everybody. Get it done. Thank you for your attention to this
00:47:37.860 matter, President Donald J. Trump. So we've seen a number of versions of this over the course of
00:47:41.440 the Iran war. And we'll see what happens now. It's very interesting. When Trump went to war
00:47:48.400 in Iran, which, as I've said from the beginning, had I been on the NSC, I would have argued against
00:47:52.320 it. I made the case against these strikes, not because Iran doesn't deserve it, but because
00:47:55.880 I didn't see a reasonable probability of success that would be worth the cost.
00:48:01.240 In any case, reasonable minds can disagree on it. You don't want Iran to have a nuclear weapon. I
00:48:04.440 get all of that. Nevertheless, there were a lot of voices who were really, really into the strikes
00:48:09.940 on Iran. And they were cheering Trump on when he was pushing the war in Iran. Then when Trump
00:48:16.880 wanted to make a deal, all those pro-war voices turned on the administration. But what's very
00:48:23.200 curious about it is they didn't turn on Trump. They didn't want to turn on Trump. They did the
00:48:28.780 sort of thing that courtiers have done since time immemorial, which is they blamed Trump's wicked
00:48:33.960 advisors. So it's never the king's fault. It's always the fault of the wicked advisors.
00:48:38.880 So they blame, especially J.D. Vance.
00:48:40.900 They tried to make J.D. Vance into the face of diplomacy,
00:48:43.340 as if Vance were doing something that Trump did not want,
00:48:45.900 as if Vance were going rogue or something like that.
00:48:48.800 And maybe they'd blame a little bit Jared Kushner
00:48:50.720 and Steve Witkoff, who were leading a lot of the negotiations.
00:48:53.780 In any case, I found the whole thing
00:48:55.460 to be totally disingenuous.
00:48:56.960 Very political, not surprising, rather,
00:49:00.060 but still pretty disingenuous.
00:49:02.680 And then Trump goes back to war in Iran,
00:49:05.000 and they're all cheering on.
00:49:06.160 But what about now?
00:49:07.560 What about now where it's very, very clear
00:49:09.080 that Trump himself is saying,
00:49:10.940 no, we really want to make a deal.
00:49:12.280 If you're seriously paying attention,
00:49:14.000 that's been true from the beginning.
00:49:15.260 But what about now?
00:49:17.860 Are the ardently pro-war voices,
00:49:21.260 people who really want this war to continue,
00:49:23.160 are they going to have the guts
00:49:24.980 to criticize Trump for this,
00:49:27.280 to go after Trump,
00:49:27.780 to stop pretending that it's J.D. Vance
00:49:29.620 or Jared Kushner or Steve Witkoff?
00:49:31.320 Say, no, no, no, it's Trump.
00:49:32.400 Trump's the president.
00:49:33.200 Trump's the guy.
00:49:33.820 He knows what's going on.
00:49:35.080 He makes the decision.
00:49:37.440 You know, there were a lot of anti-war people who said, oh, it's not Trump's fault that he got
00:49:40.800 involved in the war in Iran. It's Bibi Netanyahu's fault. And the pro-war voices at that point said,
00:49:44.560 that's disingenuous. Don't blame the wicked advisors. It's on Trump. He's got agency. He's
00:49:48.940 making his decisions. He's the guy. And then they immediately flip when it goes the other way.
00:49:53.120 So the question is now, do we acknowledge that Trump is a serious person who is doing what he
00:50:01.040 wants to do? And is there a reasonable probability of peace? Because I might have the exact opposite
00:50:09.220 take of what's been really popular on the war. At the beginning, I was rather opposed to it,
00:50:13.540 and I thought it was a bad idea. Though Trump's got a good record on foreign policy, so I'm not
00:50:18.680 going to turn on the president. I'm not going to become a Democrat overnight. But still, I would
00:50:22.200 have advised him not to go in. But at this point, we have that wisdom from Machiavelli. Wars begin
00:50:27.940 at the will of any man, but they don't end at the will of any man. Now, Iran really has us in a
00:50:32.400 tough position. And if we surrender the Strait of Hormuz to Iranian control, this will look a lot
00:50:38.760 like the Suez Crisis for the British, which marked the end of the British as a global empire.
00:50:43.220 We can't afford to lose our global empire. So what do we do now? What do we do now,
00:50:48.420 especially as we see the midterms on the horizon, especially as we see these very dangerous
00:50:53.660 candidates, not just around Mamdani, but people like Francesca Hong, James Tallarico, around the
00:50:58.480 corner, poised to take power, open in their resentment and their plan of destruction.
00:51:04.600 What do we do? The Iranians know when we hold our elections too.
00:51:09.420 There will be no quick resolution to this war, it seems to me. It's just, there's no quick,
00:51:15.080 I said that before the war and as it was beginning and afterward, that's how it goes.
00:51:21.620 If we succeed in what President Trump wants to get out of Iran, it'll be a master stroke
00:51:25.840 of grand strategy. But the probability of success seems relatively low. So how do you get out of it?
00:51:33.260 The most immediate political question is, how do you stop the damage that could occur in the
00:51:40.140 midterm elections? If anybody can pull a rabbit out of a hat, it's Trump. But it's a brutal position.
00:51:44.900 Certainly don't envy the position of the president. Okay. A lot more. Oh, so much more to get to. I
00:51:50.700 clip about the predations of Islam, the supposed Groyper problem of the GOP, according to Politico.
00:51:58.980 I want to get to all of it. New deportations numbers come out, but it's Tee Hee Tuesday.
