00:00:46.380 This episode is brought to you by Cardiff, America's favorite small business lender,
00:00:49.360 with over $12 billion funded since 2004, applying under three minutes for same-day funding up to
00:00:52.980 500,000 at cardiff.co slash Knowles.
00:00:56.960 A new study shows that the nuclear family is collapsing across major American cities,
00:01:01.540 and virtually no one seems to be acknowledging the simple reason why.
00:01:05.260 Then, speaking of cities, Republicans are developing a strange new hope
00:01:10.740 that we can take back New York, even in a midterm year that is looking disastrous.
00:01:16.860 We will get into what the numbers really show.
00:01:19.100 And speaking of New York, even more texts in the case of the Cornell 7 shed light on the essential advice that all young men need to hear a Michael Knowles is the Michael Knowles show.
00:01:49.100 Welcome back to the show.
00:01:50.220 Most important thing, if you're driving, pull over.
00:01:52.600 If you're standing up, sit down.
00:01:54.280 Today is the last day to get the beautiful Mayflower Smoking Jacket,
00:01:59.900 custom, bespoke, made to measure with velvet from the very finest mill in Como, Italy.
00:02:06.440 You are not going to see a garment like this anywhere else for anywhere near this price.
00:02:10.340 My gift to you, but pre-orders right now, this is the Noel Smoking Jacket.
00:02:14.120 First time we've done it in a Christmas green.
00:02:15.720 Okay, now let's talk about taking clothes off.
00:02:17.980 as we get to the latest update in the Cornell case.
00:02:22.220 I'm not going to rehash it.
00:02:23.320 I know we give the Cornell 7 update every day.
00:02:26.380 This girl goes to the frat party.
00:02:28.480 She engages in some weird activities,
00:02:31.220 a little Bacchanal, a little Dionysian menage a week.
00:02:34.140 And then it's all fun and games,
00:02:37.200 and everybody seems to enjoy themselves.
00:02:38.680 And then a week later, she says it was actually rape
00:02:40.760 because she didn't get invited back to another party
00:02:43.600 at the supposed rape dungeon.
00:02:45.600 And then it became a civil lawsuit two years later.
00:02:48.940 Now they're reopening the criminal case.
00:02:50.480 So the boys' lives have been totally ruined.
00:02:52.900 The girl is still known as Jane Doe,
00:02:54.600 even though some people are reporting her identity.
00:02:56.720 And then the texts keep coming out,
00:02:58.920 where she sends a text. 0.61
00:03:00.280 She says, hey, all of the sexual stuff was consensual.
00:03:04.940 He explicitly says that.
00:03:06.780 Then some guy comes in.
00:03:08.500 They say, why didn't any guy come in to put a stop to this?
00:03:10.320 Then it turns out a guy did come in to put a stop to it.
00:03:12.160 And she said, no, I don't want to put a stop to it. 0.69
00:03:13.760 this is what they did in the Middle Ages. It's fun. My body, my choice. She was apparently
00:03:18.120 posing, doing bodybuilder poses that she's kind of built. She kind of stacked. Then there was 0.96
00:03:23.940 another text that was reported where she jokes about how she had accusations that she was
00:03:30.100 transgender, and then the boys said that she raped her. Anyway, I won't get into the whole
00:03:33.940 timeline. Another text came out. This is a text between one of the girl's roommates and the girl
00:03:41.640 reportedly while the supposed rape was going on.
00:03:46.740 The first text comes in at 6.54 p.m.
00:03:53.660 Do you want me to door dash something for you
00:03:55.940 so it's here when you get home?
00:03:57.900 This is as the menage a wheat is going on.
00:04:00.740 And the girl responds, 8.55 p.m., mid-menage,
00:04:06.020 says, I don't have a payment to take an Uber.
00:04:08.920 and the roommate goes oh can i order you one she says i'm riding and then it's like kind of blacked
00:04:16.720 out i think it's a joke about one of the guys she's right i don't know anyway and she goes he
00:04:21.340 he he uh but maybe it's innocent maybe it's an innocent text i don't know it's redacted so maybe
00:04:26.840 it's okay i'm riding home with so-and-so whatever it goes great then it's three o'clock in the
00:04:30.660 morning 3 0 5 a.m this has been going on forever they've been doing ketamine at this point the
00:04:36.480 girl's new allegation is she was totally blacked out, doesn't know anything, basically incapacitated.
00:04:42.020 The roommate says, you coming home tonight? And the girl responds, she goes, I don't know.
00:04:45.620 IDK. I don't know. Busy doing stuff. Then about 5.30 a.m., she says, okay, guys,
00:04:49.680 I think we're done here. And the guys say, okay, pack it in.
00:04:55.200 The political import of this story, it's not just salacious. It's not just tabloid. It's
00:04:58.920 not just weird sex stuff. The political import is. It shows you how totally stacked against
00:05:06.580 young men our whole political system is. Specifically young white men, but this was
00:05:13.160 a very diverse array in this orgy. So it shows you how stacked the system is against young men.
00:05:21.680 These young men, their faces, their names are plastered everywhere. Some of these young men
00:05:25.080 have lost their jobs. They've faced major repercussions. The girl, at least officially,
00:05:29.720 isn't having her identity released. She's still Jane Doe. The girl faced no repercussions for 0.86
00:05:35.860 this, even though one of the guys alleges that she did some untoward, non-consensual stuff with him.
00:05:41.380 The girl alleges she was incapacitated. It was raped. This is after the fact,
00:05:45.600 after she'd already admitted that it wasn't in writing, in text messages. And then you have
00:05:50.360 reports from the girl during the act, during the supposed violent assault, in which she's saying,
00:05:58.440 like, hmm, I'm kind of hungry. Yeah, do all you want? No, I don't need to get Uber. I don't need
00:06:02.720 Uber Eats. No, it's okay. Hey, you coming home tonight? I don't know. I've just blown my fifth
00:06:07.020 line of ketamine, and I'm, you know what? I'll take away the blue jokes here. I don't want to
00:06:14.260 make it too light. There are a lot of puns and double entendre you can make. The girl seems to
00:06:18.260 be completely in control of her faculties during this whole thing. And at no point during or for
00:06:26.120 a week afterward does she at all suggest that she was coerced into anything, that she was beyond the
00:06:31.840 capacity to give consent. And all the boys' lives are still ruined, and this girl is being framed
00:06:37.780 as a victim and a hero. So, young men, don't get into the prurient details. Just know the system
00:06:46.160 is totally stacked against you. Take a moral lesson from this, which is there is a real
00:06:50.180 practical reason to avoid this kind of behavior. There's a moral reason, which is that this is all
00:06:53.960 gross and wrong. Even if it's consensual, it's disgusting, it's wrong, it's depraved, it will
00:06:57.420 make your life worse, it's wrong to other people, it's wrong to yourself. But just at a very
00:07:03.200 practical level, your life will be ruined for even the appearance of the sign of a hint of an
00:07:11.080 iota of a possibility of impropriety. Your life will be ruined. In this case, the young woman
00:07:19.280 was basically holding a sign the whole time saying, everything here is consensual. The guys
00:07:24.120 were getting that liberal fashion of affirmative consent midway through the romantic encounter.
00:07:30.520 Do you still consent? I do still consent to this. Yes, let me sign an affidavit here. Let me sign
00:07:35.860 a permission slip. South Park did a whole parody of this with PC Principal going around the frat
00:07:40.160 house, getting consent forms midway through every sexual act. She did that. This actually happened. 1.00
00:07:46.780 And the guy's lives will still be ruined. The big mistake the guys made here, the huge mistake,
00:07:53.020 was they believed the liberal morality. They believed feminism. I think there are a lot of
00:07:58.040 guys in the hookup culture who really buy the feminist line that women relate to sex in the
00:08:03.140 same way that men do. And men and women are exactly the same. And they'll be treated exactly
00:08:06.540 the same way by the law and by the rules of the school, and they should be treated. They actually
00:08:11.000 buy into that. In many ways, they're good little boys following the catechism of modern liberalism
00:08:17.900 and feminism, and they get totally nailed for it. And by the objective moral standard, they should.
00:08:25.420 They should face social consequences, if not legal consequences.
00:08:31.280 But it is such a double standard. 1.00
00:08:33.580 Fellas, keep it buttoned up. 1.00
00:08:36.040 You know what?
00:08:37.140 It's hip to be square.
00:08:38.740 Go back, live by 50s morality.
00:08:40.960 I'm not talking 1950s.
00:08:42.100 I'm talking 1850s.
00:08:43.200 I'm talking 1350s morality, okay?
00:08:47.080 Because I don't care if you prove your innocence until you're blue in the face.
00:08:51.520 Your life will be ruined.
00:08:52.940 Okay, now let's move from Cornell to Albany and to Manhattan.
00:08:57.300 there are many republicans who are saying that we have a chance even in a tough midterm year
00:09:02.920 to take back new york and this is based on some polling that cnn is breathlessly releasing
00:09:08.280 democrats are hemorrhaging support in very specific quarters in new york we'll get to
00:09:12.320 that in one second first i want to talk about cardiff there's a lot more to say first they'll
00:09:16.740 go to cardiff.co slash knowles canada view l e s i have very little patience for things that
00:09:22.580 take longer than they should standing in line when there are six empty registers calling customer
00:09:26.860 service, spending 20 minutes explaining to a robot that I want to speak to a human being, or
00:09:31.140 filling out a form online only to discover that the next step is filling out another form. Okay,
00:09:35.460 I got a lot of hurdles to get through, especially when you were trying to run a business. Okay,
00:09:41.760 you need to hire somebody, buy equipment, stock inventory, and the bank wants you to spend the
00:09:45.620 next several weeks navigating paperwork before they'll even give you an answer. That is why
00:09:49.920 Cardiff makes a lot of sense. Cardiff has helped American businesses access more than $12 billion
00:09:54.660 in funding over the past two decades. Their online application takes about three minutes.
00:09:59.180 There's no impact to your personal credit to view your offers, and qualified businesses can access
00:10:03.180 up to $500,000 in same-day funding. Approval is in minutes, funding the same day. If you've been
00:10:09.520 in business for at least a year and generate over $20,000 a month in revenue, go to cardiff.co
00:10:15.020 slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S. That is cardiff.co slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S. Real growth,
00:10:21.500 fast funding Cardiff, borrow better. Harry Enten, CNN pollster, comes out, says Democrats are
00:10:29.820 hemorrhaging support specifically among Jewish voters, which in most municipalities doesn't
00:10:35.540 matter because there just aren't that many Jews in most places. There aren't that many Jews in
00:10:39.160 the world. But in this state, in this city, we sometimes call it Jew York. Okay, this is a very
00:10:44.560 Jewish place. And so if the Democrats are losing support among Jews, by golly, they might lose the
00:10:49.500 whole state. I mean, this is a huge trend, and this is average across the year. This is Siena 0.52
00:10:55.520 polling, New York Gov races, Jewish voters. You know, Andrew Cuomo was leading amongst them by
00:11:00.040 55 points back in 2018. In 2022, look at this, Kathy Hochul by 51. Look at this lead now. Look
00:11:06.640 at this lead now. Yes, Kathy Hochul's ahead, but she's only ahead by 13 points. We're talking about
00:11:11.760 a swing here, Johnny B., of what? 38 points downward towards the Republicans when it comes
00:11:18.240 to Jewish voters. So it definitely seems to me that the developments over the past few years,
00:11:23.200 at least in New York state, have had a tremendous impact on how Jewish voters say that they're going
00:11:28.460 to vote in the governor's race here in New York. And it's not just the governor's race. It is not
00:11:32.400 just the governor's race. I mean, take a look. OK, take a look at your generic ballot. Right.
00:11:36.480 State of New York, U.S. House voting among Jewish voters. Look at this. In 2018, Democrats were ahead
00:11:40.920 by 40 points. In 2022, 49 points. Look at this. The average polls this year. It's just 13 points.
00:11:47.220 It's just 13 points. That is a shift of what, 36 points, 36 points away from the Democrats.
00:11:54.720 Their lead is absolutely tumbled into the Hudson River among Jewish voters. Yes,
00:11:58.520 they are still ahead, but we are talking about historically strong numbers for Republicans.
00:12:04.200 OK, so this is great news for Republicans, isn't it? We're talking about New York. New York is a
00:12:08.640 very, very Jewish place. Democrats are losing 36 points among Jews throughout the state.
00:12:13.840 Kathy Hochul is tumbling among Jews. And yet, the Democrats are still winning Jewish voters. 0.79
00:12:20.620 So at this point, I think you would have to conclude Jews for Democrats are no different 0.99
00:12:27.480 from queers for Palestine. Because Democrats hate Jews. This is why Josh Shapiro could not 0.74
00:12:35.800 be picked for vice president for the running mate for Kamala Harris. This is why he won't
00:12:39.940 be the nominee in 2028, you are seeing very, very pronounced anti-Semitism on the left.
00:12:47.220 It's cropped up on the right, too. Support for the state of Israel has tumbled, especially among
00:12:51.560 Republicans under the age of 50. Nowhere near as much as support for Israel has tumbled among
00:12:55.920 Democrats. Beyond the mere Israel issue, you look at outright anti-Semitism. It's cropped up a little
00:13:01.640 bit on the right. There's no denying it. Nowhere near the sort of thing that you've seen from the
00:13:06.160 left. Nowhere near what you've seen from the Democrats. So then you look at this and you say,
00:13:11.360 okay, how is it that Democrats still have 13% support among Jews in New York? How is that
00:13:18.100 possible? Because there are very conservative Jews. There are conservative Jews, there are 0.73
00:13:23.580 Orthodox Jews, Hibad Lubavitch Jews, who are pretty right-wing and actually probably more
00:13:29.960 right-wing than your average Republican or ordinary American conservative. Problem is, 0.94
00:13:34.900 though most Jews are kind of reformed Jews, 1.00
00:13:37.320 Jew-boos, as we call them, 1.00
00:13:38.880 the kind of secular Jews who practice 1.00
00:13:40.920 some vague version of Buddhism.
00:13:43.640 Within the Jewish tradition,
00:13:45.980 there is a big strain of liberalism. 0.60
00:13:48.620 And so you kind of see why Jewish voters
00:13:51.480 are attracted to the Democrat Party.
00:13:54.260 The problem is the Democrats now just hate Jews.
00:13:57.320 And so if Jewish voters have to choose
00:14:00.080 between their ideological preferences
00:14:02.800 on the one hand, and people who don't explicitly hate them on the other hand.
00:14:09.260 It seems to me they should choose the latter group. 0.90
00:14:11.200 You are seeing that show up in the polling in a pronounced way,
00:14:13.860 but not enough.
00:14:16.340 But not enough.
00:14:17.360 So our pals over at Calshi have this question.
00:14:20.280 Who is going to win the New York governor race?
00:14:22.280 Is it going to be Kathy Hochul or Bruce Blakeman?
00:14:25.100 Right now, Calshi has 93.9% chance it's going to be Hochul.
00:14:30.240 It's going to be the Democrats.
00:14:31.260 6.1% chance Bruce Blakeman. The gubernatorial candidates faced off last night. Here is just
00:14:38.060 a little hint of that debate because Blakeman did very, very well. Hochul, I thought, did pretty
00:14:43.480 bad. Here's a killer line for Blakeman. Kathy, maybe you haven't heard. U.S. News and World
00:14:49.920 Report says I have the safest county in America. So I back law enforcement, and I back the laws
00:14:56.400 of both our federal government and our state government. And I give our law enforcement
00:15:00.360 professionals, the tools they need to keep us safe. But you say you spent $4 billion on law
00:15:06.700 enforcement. Well, you spent $8 billion on illegal migrants and gave them more benefits than New 0.83
00:15:12.180 Yorkers get. How does that make any sense? Great line. He's going for a big issue that 0.57
00:15:17.240 unites the left and the right, pulls over a lot of Democrats, which is mass migration,
00:15:22.040 which is welfare for migrants, immigration fraud. He says, yeah, you're touting,
00:15:27.460 You're trying to run away from your bad record on law enforcement.
00:15:29.720 Now, you say you gave $4 billion to law enforcement. 0.96
00:15:31.780 You gave double that to migrants. 1.00
00:15:34.440 It's great.
00:15:35.360 On top of that, the Dems have turned on the Jews. 0.94
00:15:38.060 New York is very Jewish.
00:15:39.580 The Jewish support for Democrats has collapsed. 1.00
00:15:41.600 This is it.
00:15:42.280 Okay, maybe the Democrats are going to win that Texas Senate race.
00:15:45.680 Maybe they're going to win the Michigan Senate race.
00:15:47.980 Maybe.
00:15:48.260 But you know what?
00:15:49.080 Could you imagine if the Republicans flip New York? 0.99
00:15:53.060 Forget about Koushi for a second.
00:15:54.620 Just look at the actual public opinion polls.
00:15:56.440 Marist, 53 to 42, Kathy Hochul.
00:16:00.320 Emerson, 52 to 40, Hochul.
00:16:04.480 These are some of the best numbers that the Republicans have so far.
00:16:07.300 It's still an 11, 12-point race.
00:16:11.540 Look, I was a New York Republican for most of my life.
00:16:16.140 Yeah, for most of my life.
00:16:17.440 Get out there, vote, do your best, knock on doors, vote early, vote off, and do that.
00:16:22.780 I think it's cope, guys.
00:16:24.340 I think it's cope.
00:16:25.220 I think people don't want to look at how tight the Texas Senate race is, how tight the Michigan
00:16:28.520 Senate races, how tight the Ohio Senate races, how tight the Ohio governor races. So they say,
00:16:32.720 you know what? Okay, maybe we're going to lose all of these races by a hair, but maybe we'll 1.00
00:16:38.240 pull a major upset in New York. I would not bet a lot of money on that at all. All the more reason
00:16:44.560 to get out to vote, to get all your friends to get out there and vote. People who are a little bit,
00:16:48.680 I don't know, disappointed that the Republicans didn't fix all their problems overnight.
00:16:55.940 Hey, guys, you're about to get Senator Abdul El-Sayed, Mohammed, as Trump calls him.
00:17:01.920 You're going to get Senator James Talafrico.
00:17:03.700 You're almost certainly going to get Kathy Hochul in New York.
00:17:07.260 Now, speaking of our cities, let's just turn to a cultural issue for a second.
00:17:10.320 There's another strange and worrisome phenomenon going on, which is that
00:17:14.260 families are completely disappearing from American cities.
00:17:18.660 Families generally tend to live in the countryside or in the suburbs,
00:17:23.000 more single people in the cities, but the problem is getting much, much worse.
00:17:26.720 Families are evaporating from the cities.
00:17:29.500 Why is that?
00:17:31.400 We got this new report out.
00:17:32.880 This is from the Institute for Family Studies being reported by the New York Post.
00:17:35.720 Marriage data reveals traditional nuclear families disappearing across the U.S.
00:17:39.980 with a rate of just 13% in one major city.
00:17:44.720 These are marriage deserts.
00:17:46.460 So on the one hand, you have marriage deserts, and in some places, you have marriage gardens.
00:17:50.620 And people are trying to figure out what is causing this.
00:17:52.920 So the main thing they want to point to is economic factors.
00:17:56.500 They say, well, it's because of affordability.
00:17:58.340 It's because people aren't making enough money.
00:18:01.000 It's because wages aren't rising quickly enough. 0.99
00:18:03.160 One of the driest marriage deserts in the country is Lower Manhattan.
00:18:09.680 I used to live in Lower Manhattan.
00:18:11.220 Lower Manhattan is one of the wealthiest, best-educated places in the entire United States.
00:18:18.460 So yeah, it's been a very long time since you've had a lot of families in Lower Manhattan.
00:18:22.720 But why is the problem getting worse there?
00:18:25.820 Lower Manhattan is richer than many other parts of Manhattan,
00:18:28.660 better educated than many other parts of Manhattan.
00:18:30.380 It does worse when it comes to families than many other parts of Manhattan.
00:18:33.940 Why is that?
00:18:35.000 You can't explain it by income.
00:18:36.900 You can't explain it by education.
00:18:39.920 A part that is a little less politically correct that people don't want to talk about is race and ethnicity.
00:18:44.580 Some racial groups are more likely to get married, have children, and crucially, have children within the context of marriage than other groups.
00:18:52.680 According to CDC data, non-marital birth percentages for Asian mothers, it's 11 to 12 percent.
00:19:00.260 Asians do not have kids out of wedlock.
00:19:03.540 Non-Hispanic whites, 26 percent.
00:19:06.260 So, they're much more likely to have kids out of wedlock, but still, it's pretty low.
00:19:10.540 Hispanic mothers, 54%.
00:19:12.940 Most Hispanics who have kids are having kids out of wedlock. 0.97
00:19:17.780 And then black Americans, almost 70%. 0.99
00:19:21.040 Almost 69% of black mothers who have kids do so out of wedlock. 1.00
00:19:27.560 So, that's why. 1.00
00:19:28.420 It shouldn't be a huge surprise that where you have different racial groups cluster in neighborhoods,
00:19:33.540 and people do kind of naturally sort that way. 0.84
00:19:35.640 you're going to see the nuclear family disappearing. Big problem. And if you try
00:19:40.580 to pretend that there's no racial or ethnic component to this, you're simply not going
00:19:44.240 to solve the problem. You're going to double down on pathologies, especially within black 1.00
00:19:48.260 communities, also within Hispanic communities, which have exploded in recent years because of
00:19:52.720 mass illegal migration. A little bit of a problem with whites, not really much of a problem with
00:19:57.920 Asians. Even when you control for education, you say, okay, well, maybe that's true, but that's 0.99
00:20:04.700 because there are lower college education rates among black people or Hispanics, 0.99
00:20:07.460 even when you control for education, the out-of-wedlock births persist.
00:20:10.720 So you have to deal with the racial and ethnic issue
00:20:13.400 for the good of the people in those demographics
00:20:15.740 and also for the broader national problem.
00:20:19.040 But the biggest driver, you know, it's not race.
00:20:21.260 It's not ethnicity.
00:20:22.280 It's certainly not economics. 0.97
00:20:24.400 Those are nice, easy answers.
00:20:27.120 The biggest driver of out-of-wedlock births
00:20:30.340 on top of the collapse in the marriage rate,
00:20:32.580 on top of especially the collapse in the birth rate,
00:20:34.700 it's the decline in religiosity. That's it. It's not money. It's a little bit more pronounced
00:20:42.200 when it comes to race and ethnicity. It's religion. When you control for age, education, race,
00:20:49.240 church-going Americans are 39% more likely to get married. Do you want the guaranteed way, 0.76
00:20:55.860 the basically guaranteed way to increase the marriage rate in the country? 0.69
00:20:59.240 encourage people going to church. Women who attend services, any kind of religious services weekly,
00:21:06.580 have fertility rates around 2.1 children per woman. That is replacement rate. We haven't
00:21:11.300 been above replacement rate since the early 1970s. The birth rate for women who do not go 1.00
00:21:18.300 to church every week, 1.3. So you have a 62% higher birth rate among women who go to church
00:21:24.920 every week. So a lot of conservatives can get on board with this. They could say, okay, well,
00:21:31.000 we really got this problem in our churches. We got this problem in our culture. We need to
00:21:34.440 go out there and convince our fellow Americans to go to church. And yeah, that's true. But where 0.97
00:21:39.320 they're going to get a little squishier is when it comes to the government, because the decline
00:21:44.760 in religiosity did not happen in a vacuum. It was not politics is downstream of culture.
00:21:49.200 the decline in religiosity was an intentional program that came about as a result of the strong
00:21:56.920 arm of the state actions by the government it took the government to come in and say bible out of
00:22:03.680 schools it took there was no cultural uh surge to remove the bible from schools through the little
00:22:10.680 platoons of the civil society it was the government that came in and said if you teach the bible in
00:22:16.180 schools, you're going to jail. And so guess what? People stopped reading the Bible in schools. And
00:22:20.220 guess what? People got less religious. It was the government that came in and said, you can't pray
00:22:23.480 in schools. It was the government that came in and said, you can't have your nativity scenes in
00:22:26.420 the town square. It was the government that came in and forced secularism on the country. And now
00:22:32.880 we're about to not have a country. Because the reason this is of real political import is not
00:22:37.800 just because we support family values. And I prefer this family arrangement, but the liberals
00:22:42.160 prefer some other family arrangement. And, you know, who's to say? The family is the basic unit
00:22:50.540 of politics. If you wanted to break down politics into component parts, there are all sorts of
00:22:55.720 elements, the state government, the federal government, and the role of the relation of
00:22:59.900 the corporations to the state and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. The basic unit, the atomic unit
00:23:03.500 is the family. So the family becomes a political problem. The libs want to tell us that their
00:23:11.380 families are none of our business, and keep your noses out of people's bedrooms, and how does it
00:23:15.400 affect you? The family is the unit of politics. So to say that the nuclear family is disappearing
00:23:21.920 from American cities is my problem, and it's your problem too. It's a major national problem.
00:23:27.980 And the crazy thing is, we know the answer. Yes, can we rejigger the economy in such a way that
00:23:33.660 it doesn't incentivize single motherhood, and it does incentivize families? Yeah, the vice president
00:23:38.800 did an excellent job the other day, and this came ultimately through the president from the White
00:23:43.800 House officially, to rejigger some welfare programs to stop incentivizing bad behavior,
00:23:48.040 start incentivizing good behavior. Yeah, you could do that. You should do that.
00:23:50.920 Yeah, there are economic reforms you can make. Yeah, there are racial policies that you can
00:23:57.240 focus on to stop incentivizing pathologies among Black and Hispanic communities and encourage
00:24:03.580 better behaviors that are more conducive to their flourishing. Yeah, you could do that.
00:24:06.540 but it is, we know what to do. Promote religion. If the government goes back to at least not
00:24:12.860 suppressing religion, not sending jackbooted thugs to spy on our churches, not having the
00:24:17.480 White House, as it did under Joe Biden, calling Christians terrorists. If it just goes back to
00:24:21.740 that, to not suppressing religion, and I would say go further toward encouraging religious behavior
00:24:26.880 following John Adams, who says the constitution requires a religious people. In other words,
00:24:33.020 This is not authoritarian, fascist, theocratic stuff.
00:24:38.060 This is like going back to John Adams,
00:24:39.940 going back to the framers of our constitution,
00:24:41.560 the early, early, early republic to say,
00:24:44.320 okay, if the constitution requires a religious people,
00:24:46.560 then the state has to promote religion. 0.85
00:24:49.380 We can do that. 0.98
00:24:50.880 But the left is going to fight tooth and nail to stop it.
00:24:53.320 We have half a century at least of bad jurisprudence
00:24:56.140 that's going to make it difficult.
00:24:57.640 And we got a bunch of squished conservatives
00:24:59.160 who won't do it because there are people now,
00:25:01.140 I love you, I love you out there,
00:25:02.540 even the ones who are a little more liberal and a little more squishy, but you're going to say,
00:25:05.460 well, I don't want to live in some authoritarian country. I don't think we should be teaching the
00:25:09.700 Bible in schools. Okay, well, then you're not going to have families anymore. Okay,
00:25:14.440 you're not going to have a country anymore. If you are too afraid of violating the sacred norms
00:25:21.920 of early 90s American culture, not 1790s, 1990s, if that to you is the perennial,
00:25:29.980 eternal conservative tradition to preserve 90s liberalism, then you're not going to have families
00:25:35.300 and you're not going to have a country and there's nothing I can do. And frankly, it's easier for me
00:25:39.060 to deal with the leftists than it is to deal with those squishes. Okay. Speaking of family problems 0.95
00:25:42.980 and New York, actually, this is the Wall Street Journal. We're getting more details on the Ilhan
00:25:49.620 Omar scandal and our predictions seem to have been correct. Before we get to that, I want to 0.99
00:25:55.100 say about GOP votes. There's a lot more to say. First, though, go to GOPvotes.org. The Democratic
00:26:00.120 Socialists of America won primaries across the country. Next, they're coming for Congress,
00:26:04.540 and they're coming for you. If they win the midterms, they will defund the police, reopen
00:26:08.040 the border, force men into women's sports. You are the last line of defense, and GOPvotes.org 0.91
00:26:13.260 is your partner in the fight. Go to GOPvotes.org right now. Make a plan to vote early. If you live
00:26:18.580 in the critical Senate battleground states of Maine, Ohio, or Iowa, early voting is already
00:26:22.060 underway this week. Democrats are energized. The stakes have never been higher. We cannot afford
00:26:26.780 to have people like AOC and her communist cronies running the show. That is why I need you to make
00:26:32.200 a plan to vote early right now. Go to gopvotes.org to find your polling location. Vote early.
00:26:36.960 Stop the socialist takeover of America. Paid for by SLF PAC, not authorized by any candidate or
00:26:42.180 candidate's committee. Ilhan Omar investigation aims to build case for stripping her citizenship.
00:26:49.440 This is the reporting from the Wall Street Journal.
00:26:51.020 We've suspected that for a while.
00:26:52.840 Initially, a lot of people thought it was maybe just investigating her because of some issues with her brother, her brother-husband.
00:26:59.380 It wasn't really going to go after Ilhan, or maybe they'd slap her with a little fine, or maybe they'd try to remove her from Congress.
00:27:05.700 But there's no way they're going to kick her out of the country.
00:27:08.080 No.
00:27:08.500 The reporting we have here.
00:27:10.340 Authorities have subpoenaed members of the Democratic congresswoman's family as part of a broader look at their immigration paperwork,
00:27:16.100 The Trump administration's investigation into Representative Ilhan Omar is aimed at building a case to strip her of her U.S. citizenship and ultimately deport her, according to U.S. officials and other people familiar with the probe.
00:27:28.220 This because when she got her citizenship, it looks like her father lied about her age so that she would be eligible to come in as a minor, which made it easier for her to get citizenship.
00:27:39.380 Now, we're past the statute of limitations on that,
00:27:41.440 but because she's used the false birth date a number of times, allegedly,
00:27:47.640 including right after she got elected to Congress,
00:27:49.960 her staff going in and changing birth records, 1.00
00:27:53.340 because of that, that resets the statute of limitations. 0.99
00:27:55.300 This could happen.
00:27:56.540 The upshot is the Trump administration could,
00:28:02.080 not even just the Trump administration,
00:28:03.220 a federal judge and the DOJ and broader parts of the government could,
00:28:08.440 remove Ilhan Omar from the country. Why not? What's the downside? Right now, I hope I'm proven
00:28:16.620 wrong. I hope that people go out there and they vote and they convince their friends to vote.
00:28:20.180 But right now, it looks like we're almost certainly going to lose the House, very likely going to lose
00:28:23.760 the Senate, going to lose some governorships that maybe we should win. Things are looking pretty
00:28:28.840 dire. So right now, we have essentially a one-month window to really go pedal to the metal.
00:28:34.600 and then we'll have, what, three months before the Democrats are sworn in
00:28:38.800 and take some power back and try to subpoena Trump and try to destroy him.
00:28:42.660 If you're worried about standards and norms and, you know,
00:28:45.800 raising the temperature in the country, you're out of your mind.
00:28:49.360 The Democrats are going to try to impeach Trump.
00:28:51.600 They're going to try to imprison every single person who's anywhere around Trump.
00:28:55.020 They're going to wield power in deeply unjust ways.
00:28:57.300 This is not a hypothetical.
00:28:58.560 They did it under Joe Biden.
00:29:00.700 They spied on churches.
00:29:02.300 They called parents and Christians terrorists.
00:29:04.060 they tried to kick Trump off the ballot
00:29:06.940 they tried to imprison him four times
00:29:08.380 they justified his assassination multiple times
00:29:11.320 on top of that
00:29:13.720 the leftists
00:29:14.520 you will recall
00:29:16.440 murdered the most prominent conservative activist
00:29:19.600 and most effective conservative organizer
00:29:21.100 in the country
00:29:21.840 and then huge swaths of the mainstream American left
00:29:24.620 justified it
00:29:25.800 there is no
00:29:28.860 let's lower the temperature here
00:29:30.360 you win by winning
00:29:33.460 You don't win by losing.
00:29:34.680 There was a big divide on the right.
00:29:36.320 You saw it really first come out during the never Trump fight.
00:29:39.680 You had these conservatives who said, okay, Trump's a nominee.
00:29:42.040 We're going to vote for Trump.
00:29:43.100 We'll see how it turns out.
00:29:44.680 You had these never Trumpers who say, no, no, no.
00:29:47.480 The way that we win is by electing Hillary Clinton. 0.99
00:29:50.220 Because then people will see how bad her policies are. 0.88
00:29:52.400 And then we'll win.
00:29:53.100 We'll go get them next time.
00:29:55.640 Jeb 2020.
00:29:57.080 We'll get them next time.
00:29:58.380 And their argument was you win by losing.
00:30:00.420 You lose this time.
00:30:01.220 and then people realize, they wake up, and they see how bad things are, and then the pendulum
00:30:06.320 will swing back, we'll give it to you next time. No, you win by winning. There is no political
00:30:11.380 downside to deporting Ilhan Omar. It is totally just by all the evidence that we have. She is
00:30:17.100 an absolute political cancer in the country. She is emblematic of a broader political cancer,
00:30:21.820 and the way you win is by wielding power to contain the disease. 1.00
00:30:25.960 looks like that's what the doj is doing looks like that's what federal judges are permitting 1.00
00:30:31.740 let's do it absolutely love it it's all the democrats did you see this woman she's running
00:30:37.880 for not for senate not for congress not for governor she's running for the fayetteville
00:30:42.320 county council in indiana and she shows up to a local news sit down it looks like she's loaded
00:30:50.660 she's had a few drinks she might just be kind of crazy though it's difficult to tell if the
00:30:55.240 if the Democrat politicians are drunk, high, or just deranged. Here is just a little taste
00:31:02.300 of her pitch to voters. And that's what I have to say about that.
00:31:08.080 Okay. And our last question of the night is, if elected, what is one decision that you expect to
00:31:14.280 make that may be unpopular with some voters, but you believe ultimately would be in the best
00:31:19.540 interest of Fayette County? I wouldn't raise your taxes. What is the one
00:31:27.760 decision that I would make? Repeat that again. What is the one decision that I
00:31:35.080 would make that might not be popular with Fayette County? Right, that may be
00:31:37.660 unpopular with some voters, but is in the best interest of the
00:31:41.300 County. Firing all Republicans. I wouldn't let them. I mean, I don't even talk to him. I don't like
00:31:53.060 him. I mean, they voted against our own state representative voted against her own party. I
00:32:01.580 mean, what do you want me to say? I don't like being around him. I mean, y'all did this to us.
00:32:09.980 You all voted for us.
00:32:11.140 You made this happen.
00:32:13.360 This ice coming into our communities, stealing people's jobs.
00:32:18.760 I mean, I don't like him.
00:32:26.460 I don't like him.
00:32:30.540 What am I going to do if I get elected?
00:32:32.600 I'm going to not be a Republican.
00:32:37.460 I'm going to get a load of this.
00:32:39.980 Yeah, but this is a preview of Thanksgiving.
00:32:43.480 For those of you who have particularly eccentric liberal aunts and cousins and et cetera,
00:32:51.060 this is your Thanksgiving dinner. 0.59
00:32:52.840 Except in this case, this woman might become a local legislator. 0.56
00:32:55.880 And you know what? 1.00
00:32:57.560 Everybody's making fun of her.
00:32:59.640 Everybody's going after her.
00:33:02.120 This is like the most moderate Democrat in the country.
00:33:04.740 I don't know if she was actually drunk.
00:33:06.080 She might just be a local politician. 0.88
00:33:09.220 I don't know.
00:33:09.480 it's kind of hard to tell. She might just be politically deranged. She's very moderate. 0.98
00:33:13.920 Other than John Fetterman, this is the most moderate Democrat in the country. I'm not even
00:33:16.800 joking. How did she open up? She goes, well, I don't know. I'm not going to raise your taxes.
00:33:20.780 Okay. Well, boom, right off the bat, more moderate than 99.9% of Democrats. She goes,
00:33:26.400 you know what I would do? I'd fire all the Republicans. Okay. Well, the other Democrats
00:33:31.660 say that they're going to prosecute, imprison, and murder Republicans. So fire them? That's
00:33:38.040 pretty, I don't know, that's pretty tame. That's pretty moderate. She says, I don't like the
00:33:43.240 Republicans. It's better than the Republicans are Nazis, better than the Republicans are
00:33:50.160 hateful, genocidal, totalitarian, existential threats to democracy, like Joe Biden said.
00:33:58.880 It's funny, they're looking at this and everyone's kind of just having a little laugh about it. 0.88
00:34:02.560 The really dark thing about this clip is that this woman legitimately is one of the most
00:34:09.980 reasonable Democrats running for office. You know what I didn't hear her say in her possibly
00:34:13.980 drunken speech in cursive? You know what I didn't hear her say? I didn't hear her say that God is
00:34:19.120 non-binary. I didn't hear her invoke the Blessed Virgin Mary to defend abortion like James Tallarico 0.84
00:34:23.620 does in Texas. I didn't hear her say that the state of Israel is a greater threat to America
00:34:28.740 than Iran, as Abdul Al-Sayed basically said. I didn't hear her say that men are no longer going
00:34:36.160 to have due process of law, like Kathy Hochul saying in New York. It's crazy, man, but that's
00:34:43.120 it. Gun to my head, as the Democrats could easily do. Gun to my head, you have to vote for one
00:34:48.660 Democrat in the country. I'm voting for this lady, Jamie West. I'm not endorsing her because 1.00
00:34:53.780 I assume she has a Republican opponent, but her or Abdul, her or Tallarico, her or any of these,
00:35:00.920 Troy Jackson, I'm with Jamie. I'm a Jamie Republican. Okay. Speaking of moderates,
00:35:07.360 the DOJ is going after major news networks over antitrust violations because of a big fight over
00:35:14.180 the White House briefing room and access from the establishment media. And I think Republicans are
00:35:17.860 going super squishy on this. Before we get to that, you may have been admiring this beautiful
00:35:23.160 smoking jacket. The smoking jacket pre-orders close today. This is your last chance to secure
00:35:29.840 your Mayflower smoking jacket tailored by Shepard's Menswear. People complain every year,
00:35:35.220 oh no, we've run out of material or the window closed. This is a made-to-measure smoking jacket.
00:35:39.720 It's a real smoking jacket. I'm wearing the Noel green, the Christmas green today. There are four
00:35:44.520 colors you can choose from, but after today, you will not be able to order. If you want a real
00:35:48.760 smoking jacket, not costume, with fabric from Como, Italy. Best mail out there for the velvet.
00:35:54.200 Beautiful Benberg lining, real functional buttonholes with the horn button. Nice double
00:35:59.140 breasted functional jacket because the velvet keeps the ash and the smoke off your clothing.
00:36:03.560 If you want it, you're never going to see a price like this anywhere. I am not.
00:36:07.900 This is my early Christmas gift to you. My favorite comment yesterday is from Helena,
00:36:12.300 who says, imagine coming into a country illegally and then being in Congress and running the
00:36:15.480 government yeah it just shows you how dire the political situation is and and people are being
00:36:20.280 really uh blasé about everything they say oh well trump didn't deport as many people as i wanted
00:36:26.100 oh well you know i don't really like this military action well you know it's just the 0.60
00:36:31.380 inflation hasn't fallen enough and so i mean they got they got somalis somali fraudster scammer
00:36:39.540 marry their brother people in Congress. They're running on transing your kids,
00:36:46.960 killing all the babies, obliterating national sovereignty. That's where we're at. 0.99
00:36:53.280 If you're feeling, I don't know, a little disillusioned, disappointed, I'm not going
00:36:56.880 to show up to vote. I don't know what to tell you, man. Democracy is the theory that the common
00:37:00.980 man knows what he wants and deserves to get it good and hard. So here's a little reported on
00:37:05.780 story that's driving me up a wall. The story is this. Trump booted a bunch of lib journalists
00:37:13.560 out of the White House. People from CNN, I think NBC was in there. He boots them out of the White
00:37:18.800 House. Their coverage is bad. They're kind of crazy. And so he boots them out. Then all the
00:37:25.400 liberal networks, plus some of the conservative networks, decide they're going to boycott
00:37:29.920 the briefing room. They're going to boycott covering President Trump's events until Trump
00:37:34.820 lets them back in. So solidarity among the journalists. And now the judges are intervening.
00:37:41.040 It should be the case that, you know, the journalists have no constitutional right to
00:37:44.160 access the White House or proximity to the president. But there was a stupid ruling in
00:37:47.520 the 1970s that said that the president doesn't need to grant access to journalists. But if he
00:37:54.340 does, he can't discriminate based on viewpoint, even though lots of presidents do. Barack Obama
00:37:58.240 did it. Joe Biden did it. And so anyway, they're forcing the libs back in there. Well, now the DOJ
00:38:03.340 is striking back after that ruling. And the DOJ is going after all these news networks over
00:38:08.400 antitrust violations because they cut coverage after the CNN booting. And we'll see how this
00:38:15.140 all plays out. Right now, this focuses on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and Fox. New York Times is reporting
00:38:22.180 that the DOJ ordered those networks to hand over communications to make sure that they weren't
00:38:26.160 collaborating together. But I know that there are moderate, nice, establishment,
00:38:32.020 clubbable conservatives who say, well, you know, that's fine. That's a little beyond the pale.
00:38:35.680 It's a little authoritarian for the Trump White House to kick CNN out. You know, you can't really
00:38:40.500 do that. And we need to have a strong fourth estate. And this is why we can't have nice things.
00:38:46.460 This is why we can't have nice things. This ties right back to the first story we're talking about,
00:38:49.800 second story we're talking about. Look, we know what has destroyed the American family. 0.84
00:38:54.040 It's not complicated. It doesn't take a PhD to figure it out. It's the decline in religion. 0.78
00:38:58.860 That's the reliable driver. 1.00
00:39:00.040 So if you want stronger families, 0.99
00:39:01.640 you have to promote religion
00:39:02.500 or really stop suppressing religion.
00:39:04.640 That's it.
00:39:05.120 Are you willing to do it?
00:39:06.160 And the liberals say no,
00:39:07.420 and a lot of conservatives say no.
00:39:08.600 Okay, well, that's why we can't have families.
00:39:11.160 That's it.
00:39:11.880 Because you're afraid of being called an authoritarian
00:39:13.380 for adhering to views that liberals held 30 years ago.
00:39:17.980 You think that makes you Mussolini,
00:39:19.960 so you're not going to do it.
00:39:20.980 Okay, that's why we can't have nice things.
00:39:22.300 Same thing here.
00:39:23.220 How many decades have the conservatives spent
00:39:27.860 decrying the perfidy of the establishment media, saying that the press are the enemy of the people,
00:39:35.320 that they lie through their teeth, they delude the public, they are the cause of basically all
00:39:41.760 of our woes. But then the minute Trump says, okay, some CNN reporter, you're not allowed to be in the
00:39:46.780 White House anymore. They say, no, no, we can't do that. No, no, yeah, no, I agree. The press,
00:39:51.320 they're the worst people on earth. They're absolutely the scum. They're worse than Hitler.
00:39:55.040 they're devastating they're the big cause of the decline of our country but we can't kick one of 0.98
00:40:00.280 them out of the briefing room oh okay so what do you want you just want to complain i guess that's
00:40:05.160 what you want all you want to do is complain you want to lose and complain and actually when you
00:40:10.820 lose you kind of win because you get something new to complain about and then the libs are going to
00:40:14.140 run the country off a cliff that's it because i think it's i'm being a little tough on the
00:40:20.500 conservatives here, but good, I should be. The conservatives, even if they have a basic
00:40:27.020 clarity of vision sometimes, very often conservatives don't have the courage of
00:40:31.800 their convictions. This, I think, is why libertarian slogans sometimes appeal to conservatives
00:40:38.880 is because it's an excuse to eschew responsibility. If we say, well, I don't want the government to
00:40:45.140 do anything. I want the government to get out of every difficult decision. I want the government
00:40:49.560 to completely absolve itself of any substantive reasoning.
00:40:53.040 Okay, why?
00:40:54.780 Because you don't want responsibility.
00:40:56.940 If you go in there and you say,
00:40:58.300 you know what, the government needs to have a firm definition of marriage,
00:41:01.140 and it's got to exclude things that are not marriage, 0.62
00:41:03.980 like homosexual unions. 0.66
00:41:06.240 Yeah, the government needs to go in 1.00
00:41:07.920 and the government needs to say
00:41:12.060 that some behaviors are better than other behaviors,
00:41:13.980 and we're going to incentivize the good behaviors
00:41:15.500 and punish the bad behaviors. 1.00
00:41:16.920 yeah the government needs to deport all the illegals including abuela yeah the government
00:41:22.080 needs to go in when when when we say that and then the the libertarian type conservatives or
00:41:28.840 the conservatives using the libertarian slogans they say well hold on i don't want i just want
00:41:31.940 the government out of everything it's a way to say well i don't want to have to decide but self
00:41:37.160 government is about deciding when when this is what the the kind of squishy types say they say
00:41:42.320 well who decides you know what is good or what is bad i said well somebody somebody does we have a
00:41:48.960 you know we have a self-government right you know that's what the framers gave us we have this
00:41:51.760 republic where there are certain guardrails from the constitution there's checks and balances but
00:41:56.060 also there's a great deliberative aspect for the demos to say this is good and this is bad and we
00:42:01.160 want more good and we want less bad they don't want to do that so okay i mean even down to you're
00:42:07.260 not willing to kick some cnn reporter out of the white house okay you're not willing to do anything
00:42:11.100 in. So the problem is chiefly the left. The problem is chiefly the, I don't know, the radicals
00:42:23.360 and the Marxists and the, sure. But just below them, the responsibility lies with the Swiss 1.00
00:42:30.080 conservatives who won't do anything about it. Sorry, ain't going to see me. I was on a debate
00:42:34.240 with Chris Cuomo on his show over this issue. I was on, we were debating Trump kicking the
00:42:39.420 journalists out of the White House. And he said, Michael, you're a journalist. I said, I guess
00:42:42.620 arguably that's true. I'm a cigar salesman. I'm like, okay, yeah, I guess arguably I'm a journalist.
00:42:46.260 You don't have solidarity with your fellow journalists over at CNN? No, not at all. I don't,
00:42:51.000 not at all. I have solidarity with the people who want to make America better.
00:42:56.040 And I have very little in common with the people who want to make America worse. And I want to help
00:43:00.520 the people who want to make America better. And I want to suppress the people who want to make
00:43:03.540 America worse. Call me Francisco Franco. I think I'm basically just like a normal person from 1988,
00:43:10.540 but okay, that's fine. Speaking of the media, very exciting news. Mr. Benjamin Shapiro has
00:43:19.480 written a movie that is like a Hollywood blockbuster. This thing is, it's called Confession.
00:43:25.920 It's a movie about the Soviet Union and it's got an all-star cast and it's coming to Daily Wire
