00:01:18.900 drops in the Ohio governor race as Democrat Amy Acton's mother urges voters not to vote for her 0.95
00:01:25.540 liar daughter. Then the Pope has his lung, half of his lung removed after doctors find cancer. 0.60
00:01:33.880 And Elon Musk wants to give your kid part of his company. I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael
00:01:39.000 Knowles Show.
00:01:48.900 welcome back to the show abdul el sayed the democrat candidate in michigan freaks out on
00:02:03.720 a voter at a town hall who asks him if he will disavow the muslim brotherhood unfortunately for
00:02:09.620 abdul the exchange is just shedding more light on his very real connections to the muslim
00:02:15.320 brotherhood we'll get to all of that in a minute first though forget about michigan forget about
00:02:18.820 michigan let's turn to ohio i have been in and around politics for a long time i worked on my
00:02:28.080 first political campaign a congressional race when i was what 19 years old something like that
00:02:33.360 i i first became politically aware when i was six years old campaigning around my first grade
00:02:39.420 classroom for bob dole i begged my mother not to vote for clinton to vote for dole i pulled the
00:02:43.540 ever myself. I've been into politics for a long time. I have never in my life seen a political
00:02:51.140 ad like this. This is Democrat gubernatorial candidate from Ohio, Amy Acton. She's running
00:03:00.240 against Vivek Ramaswamy. It's a very tight race. It's statistically tied. And here in the October
00:03:06.780 surprise, what, a week, two weeks before the election? Amy Acton's mother cuts a political
00:03:13.440 ad urging voters not to vote for her liar daughter. My name is Donna Arthur, and I'm Amy Acton's
00:03:23.420 mother. I worked at Children and Family Service Association, building one of the first two sexual
00:03:30.840 abuse programs in America. I love my daughter but when I saw her lying about her opponent
00:03:37.720 it's not easy for a mother to say this but Amy has a serious problem. She is a liar. She lies 1.00
00:03:46.360 about her past. She says she grew up living in a tent. None of that is true. She's lied her entire
00:03:54.660 life my daughter needs help and she can't help you if she needs help herself people can change
00:04:02.980 but first they have to tell the truth and my daughter still isn't doing that don't vote for
00:04:09.100 people who lie don't let her become your governor if you think she'll make your life better you're
00:04:15.960 fooling yourself it will only get worse oh my goodness i don't my skin is crawling as i watch
00:04:26.660 the it's so so brutal so let's be as fair as we possibly can to amy acton amy acton
00:04:35.020 has for a long time said she had this horrible upbringing and her mother lost custody of her
00:04:41.060 when she was 12 years old and she claims and neglect and abuse. And she says she grew up in
00:04:46.240 a tent for part of her upbringing. And the problem with those claims, Amy Acton has been pretty
00:04:52.480 consistent in her political career. The problem with those claims is there's not a lot of evidence
00:04:56.040 for them. I'm not saying that it isn't true. I'm just saying there's not a lot of evidence for
00:04:59.860 them. There's not a lot of court records. There's not a lot of convictions or really even solid
00:05:04.980 accusations. And so, when the mother comes out and says, hey, Amy's just been lying about this 0.94
00:05:11.800 forever. The parents were divorced. There was some nasty family dynamics, no question about it.
00:05:17.240 But the mother comes out and says, hey, my daughter is lying, not just about me, 0.98
00:05:21.880 but is lying about her upbringing. And not only has she told lies, she is a liar, 1.00
00:05:28.060 which is devastating i mean that is a devastating label to have put on you if you are in politics 0.98
00:05:35.340 if you're in business in your personal life it's not to say oh you screwed something up oh you have
00:05:40.820 a bad idea oh you're politically radical those those all can kind of be fixed but if someone
00:05:45.800 is just thoroughly dishonest if you catch someone in a blatant lie or multiple blatant lies
00:05:52.140 it totally destroys trust it totally destroys your credibility it is the most brutal claim you
00:05:59.020 can make about a politician because a politician is someone who has the public trust you as edin
00:06:05.340 burke writes you know you elect your representatives not just for this policy or that policy but for
00:06:10.120 their judgment because you trust them to represent you and so in total i'm trying to be as charitable
00:06:15.680 as I possibly can be to Amy Acton. What is she going to say in response to this?
00:06:21.160 She can say one of two things. She can either say that her mother is crazy, that her mother 1.00
00:06:28.020 doesn't know what she's saying. My mother needs some help. My mother, she's a maniac. She has 0.90
00:06:33.760 mental problems. She's a drug addict, whatever she's going to say. Problem is we can see Amy's 1.00
00:06:39.040 mother in the ad and she sounds pretty reasonable. She doesn't sound like she's a schizophrenic or a 0.69
00:06:43.880 drug addict or anything like that says look um this is what i did this is my career i i love my
00:06:48.900 daughter but she needs help and she's pretty messed up we know probably 97 of politicians 0.62
00:06:53.720 are mentally unwell to begin with so that that credibility of the mother kind of rings true
00:06:59.740 and the claim that the mother's a total lunatic doesn't ring true so then the other thing that 1.00
00:07:04.420 amy acting can do is come out there and issue a statement and say my mother's a liar my mother 1.00
00:07:11.500 is a liar. She is maliciously lying about me. Don't listen to my mother. Mom says, don't vote 0.99
00:07:16.880 for my liar daughter. No, don't listen to my liar mother. That looks horrible for Amy Acton. 1.00
00:07:22.400 This is a brilliant, brilliant political ad. Some people are going to say, oh, this is a little,
00:07:29.160 oh gosh, my skin is growing. Oh, therefore I don't, this might've backfired. This might backfire
00:07:34.660 on the Republicans. I don't know. It's too much. Leave family out of it. But again, first of all,
00:07:39.800 There's no disclaimer at the end of this ad that says, you know, paid for by Vivek Ramaswamy.
00:07:43.680 There's no, this didn't come from the Ramaswamy campaign committee.
00:07:47.120 It's unclear where this ad came from.
00:07:49.340 It's being reported all over the press right now.
00:07:52.040 But I don't think this will backfire.
00:07:55.260 This is an ad that conveys that there is some real rot in the family of the Democrat candidate for governor.
00:08:04.240 And it raises real questions about that person's credibility.
00:08:06.960 on top of all of the other questions about the democrat candidates credibility
00:08:11.840 i think it's a very very effective ad it's brutal you think before this you would say what was the
00:08:17.900 most brutal political ad ever maybe willie horton you know george hw bush uh dukakis on crime here's 0.70
00:08:24.960 willie horton this black criminal who got out and raped and murdered everybody that's mike dukakis 0.94
00:08:29.260 he let him out of prison and at the time this was assailed this is race baiting this is fear 0.97
00:08:34.100 mongering this is that was a really brutal ad that ad is like mickey mouse club compared to
00:08:38.880 amy acton's mom coming out here really just from the level of political operations
00:08:44.520 incredible stuff is going on it's not just going on in the ohio governor race let's turn up to the
00:08:50.680 main senate race troy jackson is also tied right now with uh susan collins the liberal republican
00:08:58.140 who in crucial moments can be a vote for the republicans but is not exactly reliable uh right
00:09:05.560 now the race could go either way and if the political winds are strongly with the democrats
00:09:10.020 then troy jackson is going to win so who's coming out to knock down some of troy jackson's momentum
00:09:16.120 of all people cnn particularly as it pertains to the iran war you talked about home heating oil
00:09:24.720 which is incredibly high here in Maine, you said that we should just get out of Iran as quickly as possible.
00:09:32.700 How would that work? Would you be okay with just pulling out of Iran?
00:09:37.300 And what would that mean for the Strait of Hormuz, which is still or would be certainly controlled by Iran if that happened,
00:09:44.360 which would continue to keep the oil prices high?
00:09:48.580 Well, Iran controlled it before and the oil prices weren't anywhere near.
00:09:53.120 It didn't. It was open.
00:09:54.720 Well, before the Iran war? No, it wasn't. It was open.
00:09:58.180 Well, Iran had the ability to do what they did before we started bombing them and things were fine. 0.99
00:10:04.740 I'm sure that if we move out of Iran, things will stabilize and prices will probably go down. 0.94
00:10:11.620 I mean, you think if the United States just leaves, Iran will say, OK, fine, we're going to pull out of the Strait of Hormuz.
00:10:16.920 Well, it's a lot better than what we're doing right now.
00:10:19.900 And I definitely think that, you know, we need to make sure that we protect our troops getting out of there, you know, in a manner that they're safe.
00:10:29.600 But, yeah, I do.
00:10:30.320 I think we need to get out of that war and hopefully prices will stabilize.
00:10:34.880 I mean, they rose because we got into it.
00:10:37.680 OK, so just from this answer alone, voters will conclude on the liberal network, by the way, Troy Jackson is not a serious person.
00:10:46.720 Troy Jackson, think about his preparation for this interview.
00:10:50.020 He rolls out of bed.
00:10:51.000 He gets out of bed, says goodbye to his cousin, gets out of his bed, walks out of his boudoir,
00:10:57.160 gets in the car, drives to the CNN studio.
00:11:00.100 And he knows, you know, this is a friendly news network, but I got to dot my T's and
00:11:04.380 cross my I's.
00:11:05.640 Question comes up, what would you do about the Iran war?
00:11:09.000 He says, well, you know, I just pull out.
00:11:12.200 And the follow-up question, this is not a hard-hitting journalism.
00:11:15.100 And the follow-up question is, okay, well, what would that mean for the Strait of Hormuz and global energy markets?
00:11:20.480 The reason we're still in Iran is because Iran now controls the Strait of Hormuz.
00:11:25.080 So if you just pulled out unilaterally, you'd just be surrendering 20% of the world's oil supply to Iran.
00:11:30.260 What would you do about that?
00:11:31.280 And what does he say?
00:11:31.980 He goes, well, you know, I mean, they controlled it before.
00:11:37.420 And even CNN has to say, well, they didn't.
00:11:41.960 They just didn't.
00:11:42.980 I don't know.
00:11:43.420 This isn't one of the, well, you have your opinion, I have my opinion.
00:11:46.880 I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
00:11:49.060 No, they didn't.
00:11:50.480 They did not control it before.
00:11:52.600 And one of the issues that has come about because the United States made good on its threats to set back the Iranian nuclear program and to disrupt the IRGC and the Mullahs.
00:12:04.900 And one of the consequences is Iran took control of the Strait of Hormuz.
00:12:09.100 and so now even if you wanted to pull out of iran you have this problem which is now you'd be 0.64
00:12:14.280 surrendering 20 of the world's oil supply to iran so what would you do with that so no they did
00:12:19.740 that's they didn't they didn't control they did control it before but they didn't so what well i
00:12:26.200 just think things were better before nobody disagrees that things were better before the
00:12:30.360 the debate over the iran war was over the urgency of the iranian nuclear threat on which reasonable
00:12:36.880 minds disagree but nobody disagrees that energy markets were better before the war question is
00:12:43.720 what do you do now because the war changed the situation and so what i love about this answer
00:12:47.820 is it not only exposes the unseriousness of troy jackson i mean this guy is playing checkers while
00:12:55.580 susan collins is playing chess susan collins who drives conservative republicans crazy a lot of the
00:12:59.820 time but she is a political killer she's a political survivor it not only exposes troy
00:13:04.880 jackson but it also exposes the silliness of this argument over iran i'm an iran skeptic i was urging
00:13:11.620 restraint before during and after the war okay you're not going to see me cheerleading some
00:13:15.840 major military operation into iran but i like to think i at least have a somewhat realistic grasp
00:13:22.840 of what's actually going on there and you simply cannot just pull out of iran trust me if you could
00:13:29.920 just do that without severely negative consequences for the united states in the world
00:13:34.420 we would have done it already but you can't so what are the democrats offering nothing the
00:13:40.760 democrats are just saying like well whatever trump does we want the opposite but trump whether you
00:13:45.400 agree or disagree with his arguments for going to iran he at least made some arguments right he said
00:13:49.620 well we have to stop the iranian nuclear threat and iran has been killing american troops and
00:13:54.180 iran has been threatening to kill the president of the united states and this that and the other
00:13:57.220 thing at least he's making arguments what are the democrats saying you're just saying the opposite
00:14:01.080 Had Trump not gone into Iran, you know what Troy Jackson would be saying.
00:14:06.260 He'd be saying, Donald Trump, he doesn't have the guts to go in and stop the Iranian nuclear threat.
00:14:11.120 And he's soft on the friends of Vladimir Putin, the mullahs, and it's just totally empty.
00:14:16.940 Whatever you think about the substance of it, these guys are not sending their best.
00:14:21.820 You got Amy Acton having a fight with her mom over whether or not she's a liar on the national stage.
00:14:26.680 you got troy jackson kissing his cousin goodbye and then just babbling incoherently about the
00:14:33.080 main geopolitical challenge that we face right now you got abdul el sayed we'll get to him in a
00:14:38.780 second you got james tallarico waxing theologic about the non-binary gender of god these are
00:14:46.080 pretty weak candidates it's susan collins just one before we move on from the main race which
00:14:50.800 again, tied 50-50. Susan Collins did a great little twist of the knife in her debate a few 1.00
00:14:56.300 nights ago with Troy Jackson. I'm sorry somebody's interrupting. We'll have our security deal with
00:15:05.580 that. So this is obviously one of Troy's supporters. Oh, shut up. I didn't. I don't
00:15:16.900 you know that kid all right senator pons will give you the full minute to respond to the question
00:15:21.940 okay so you have this raving lunatic oh the data center is right you know one of the
00:15:26.400 handful of slogans that the democrats are pushing in the in the campaign and susan collins just 1.00
00:15:31.260 nice little mild-mannered susan collins doesn't take the bait doesn't react to the substance of
00:15:37.000 the provocation she goes well this is obviously one of troy's crazy supporters and what does troy 0.97
00:15:43.580 he do he does take the bait he goes oh shut up you're gonna call an elderly woman you're gonna 0.54
00:15:50.780 tell her to shut up on the debate stage that's not gonna play well and then susan collins she
00:15:55.800 loves it probably the probably the best thing she could have possibly heard she then goes on cable
00:15:59.960 news and says well you know it's just listen to how look and listen to the way he talks to women
00:16:05.040 i was struck by how reflexive the response oh shut up was but then i thought about the reputation
00:16:19.020 that troy jackson has in augusta particularly when he's dealing with women with whom he disagrees
00:16:27.220 so in some ways it didn't surprise me and the fact that it seemed like such an automatic quick
00:16:37.000 reply was very telling oh she's such a pro i love her i hate the way she votes some of the times but
00:16:44.600 i love her politics i love her tactics she just comes out well yeah oh no i don't look i'm not
00:16:51.060 angry i just i it's it was really surprising how reflexively he hates women and i don't you know
00:16:59.760 people say not me but people say he has a reputation as a misogynistic wife-beating
00:17:07.620 psychopath i don't i i'm not i don't want to get into the mock about that she did this earlier
00:17:14.040 when it came out that troy jackson i've alluded to it a couple times on the show today he uh
00:17:17.820 sleeps with his cousin he has multiple kids with his cousin he's uh he's a he's a kissing cousin
00:17:24.540 a little more than kissing cousin it's kind of weird and susan collins was doing an interview
00:17:30.080 right when the story came out and she just brings it up she just brings it up but she does in this
00:17:33.820 great way she goes well look i mean there are a lot of facts and that we can debate here in this
00:17:39.740 race but i i'm not going to bring up personal matters like the fact that he has sex with his
00:17:46.380 cousin i'm not going to bring that up i don't i would never she's kind of a pro so i think
00:17:52.620 there's a very good chance she wins that race the problem though i'm being a little too rosy
00:17:57.080 for the republicans right now the problem for the republicans is that susan collins is winning
00:18:02.660 doesn't actually protect the the republicans from most of democrat nonsense that's the problem let's
00:18:09.380 say that the the democrats win the senate but susan collins wins her race on the really crucial 1.00
00:18:15.800 votes on votes that pertain to impeachment potentially on investigations that are designed 0.53
00:18:23.180 to just bleed the trump administration by a thousand cuts you could very easily see susan 0.85
00:18:27.380 collins just siding with the democrats so uh even even if we hold that seat whether or not the
00:18:33.700 republicans win the senate on the crucial matters it it just might not matter and so the republicans
00:18:41.140 are still in a very, very brutal situation. So we'll move back to the potential Muslim Brotherhood 1.00
00:18:47.100 linked lunatic who's running for Senate in Michigan. First though, I want to tell you 0.97
00:18:52.180 about Bowling Branch. Go to bowlingbranch.com slash Knowles, K-N-A-W-L-E-S, use code Knowles.
00:18:58.020 There's something about the weather getting colder that suddenly makes you notice your bed again.
00:19:01.420 During the summer, you get in, throw half the blankets onto the floor, go to sleep,
00:19:04.700 and that's basically it. But now the temperature is down and there's no excuse to not having a cozy
00:19:08.560 and adult-looking bed.
00:19:11.200 I absolutely love
00:19:13.380 Bowl & Branch.
00:19:14.660 I've been sleeping
00:19:15.140 on Bowl & Branch sheets
00:19:15.980 for the better part
00:19:16.500 of 10 years now.
00:19:17.900 They make the whole setup,
00:19:19.540 signature organic cotton sheets,
00:19:21.040 pillows, blankets,
00:19:21.820 comforters,
00:19:22.220 all designed to be breathable,
00:19:23.520 soft,
00:19:23.960 and better over time.
00:19:25.820 I adore them.
00:19:26.760 We just got a new
00:19:27.560 Bowl & Branch comforter.
00:19:28.940 That was my last holdout.
00:19:30.420 I had not gotten
00:19:31.280 the Bowl & Branch comforter yet.
00:19:32.780 Everything else
00:19:33.400 we have from Bowl & Branch,
00:19:34.920 I said,
00:19:35.240 let's try the comforter.
00:19:35.960 It's magnificent.

00:20:00.140 So you got Amy Acton in a fight with her mom who calls her a liar. 0.58
00:20:03.540 you've got troy jackson telling the nice elderly female senator to shut up on stage
00:20:10.400 and now you got abdul el sayed feeling the pressure feeling the heat getting into a whiny 0.55
00:20:16.600 little shouting match with a voter at a town hall specifically over his connections to the muslim
00:20:22.120 brotherhood what's your name no what's your name no what's your name no no what's your name no no
00:20:32.920 I'm asking you a simple question. You give me your name, I'll answer the question.
00:20:37.580 Okay, Tommy.
00:20:38.280 Hi, Tommy. How are you?
00:20:39.580 I'm great.
00:20:40.360 Are you? Do you know what the Constitution of the United States is?
00:20:43.720 I have one simple question. 1.00
00:20:45.800 Will you disavow Muslim government? 1.00
00:20:47.580 They're a terrorist group. 1.00
00:20:50.200 Okay. No, no, but what are you implying?
00:20:52.480 Do you assume that I wouldn't?
00:20:54.780 Yes.
00:20:55.360 Why not?
00:20:55.700 Because I have not heard you disavow them yet.
00:20:58.020 Have you disavowed them? I haven't heard you disavow them yet.
00:21:00.080 I disavowed them.
00:21:00.900 He's great. But here's the thing about it. You're asking the question because implicitly you assume
00:21:06.620 that I'll have dual loyalty. A very, very amateurish exchange. So Abdul's feeling the
00:21:14.100 heat on this question. We'll get to the reason why in a second. He's feeling the heat on this
00:21:17.260 question. So instead of just saying, okay, here, well, here we go again. Here we go again. People,
00:21:22.640 just because my name's Abdul, people, some people, some ignorant, bigoted people suggest 0.96
00:21:29.020 that I'm a terrorist. I just want you to know I'm not a terrorist. And you know, what makes America,
00:21:33.660 I love America. And what makes America great is we don't just judge people by the color of their
00:21:37.460 skin. We don't just judge people by their funny sounding names. You know, we, we're all citizens
00:21:42.260 here and we should treat each other with respect. Ooh, yes, that's right. Abdul, but he can't do
00:21:46.340 that. So what does he do? He says, yeah, yeah. What's your name? What's your name? What's your
00:21:49.740 name? Big boy. Say uncle, say uncle. What's your name? Yeah. How you doing? Yeah. Good. Yeah. Yeah.
00:21:54.920 hey i just have a simple question guy who wants to be senator will you disavow the muslim brother 0.60
00:21:59.260 why don't you disavow the muslim brotherhood i don't know because i'm some random white guy 0.61
00:22:03.020 from michigan and i have no connections to it and you have a bunch and you have a bunch that's 0.97
00:22:06.920 the problem so abdul is reacting as if it's absurd to even suggest that he might have some
00:22:14.740 connections to the muslim brotherhood what is the muslim brotherhood first of all the muslim
00:22:18.880 brotherhood is an islamist group a sunni islamist group from egypt okay so we got a little bit of
00:22:24.680 an egyptian connection here but it's not just that abdul al-sayed is egyptian and the muslim
00:22:30.260 brotherhood is egyptian therefore we assume that the muslim brotherhood is uh you know it has a
00:22:35.040 connection to abdul al-sayed i'm from new york the yankees are from new york would you assume that
00:22:39.480 i'm a yankee fan actually yes that would be a reasonable assumption but but it goes much deeper
00:22:44.080 with abdul al-sayed abdul al-sayed's mother was a member of the muslim brotherhood fatten al-kome
00:22:49.700 his mom the the potential future senator from michigan his mom was an actual member of the
00:22:56.740 muslim brotherhood abdul al-sayed's sister imam abdel hadi who is a professor at u chicago says
00:23:02.440 my family has long been in the muslim brotherhood abdul's father-in-law jukaku s tayeb is linked to
00:23:11.280 the muslim brotherhood through the islamic society of north america and through care the committee
00:23:15.360 on american islamic relations abdul al-sayed's sister-in-law mariam jukaku is on a terrorism
00:23:22.040 watch list she has the four s's on her boarding pass which is a security measure some people have
00:23:26.780 it where you have to have secondary screening they have to patch you down once you're at your
00:23:31.240 gate before you get on your airplane a former foreign affairs spokesman for the muslim brotherhood
00:23:36.720 political party donated to abdul al-sayed's campaign abdul al-sayed when he was in college
00:23:42.140 was the VP of the Muslim Students Association.
00:23:44.160 The Muslim Students Association
00:23:45.100 was founded in collaboration
00:23:46.060 with the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:23:47.440 Abdul al-Sayed is swimming in associations
00:23:50.380 to the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:23:51.460 Now, we don't necessarily want to render
00:23:55.040 a guilty verdict by association,
00:23:57.240 but that's why this guy is asking the question.
00:24:00.480 And for Abdul al-Sayed, one,
00:24:02.180 to just insinuate that the young man is a racist
00:24:04.840 or a bigot of some kind or whatever 0.99
00:24:06.860 is, I think, kind of cheap and silly. 0.99
00:24:09.280 For him to do it in this petulant way 0.87
00:24:11.300 is not good optics, but how about you just answer the question? Yeah. Oh, you're at, okay. You want
00:24:17.040 to know because my mom and like my whole family's in the Muslim brotherhood and they like openly
00:24:21.720 talk about how they support the Muslim brotherhood. You want to know if I'm in the Muslim
00:24:24.700 brotherhood. Well, I'm not, I don't support the Muslim brotherhood. I disavow their ideology. 1.00
00:24:28.440 No problem is he doesn't actually, because in some of Abdul El-Sayed's undergraduate or
00:24:32.660 undergraduate or graduate work sometime when he was in university, he actually wrote on one of
00:24:38.660 the descendants of the founder of the muslim brotherhood ideology that's a little bit in the
00:24:41.820 weeds but there's there are ideological links for him as well but but he he could at least say look
00:24:46.820 i now at this age running for this office i've matured i've grown i don't agree with my family
00:24:52.040 in the muslim brotherhood and i i disavow them but thank you for your question that's a serious 0.99
00:24:56.080 question and i want to represent all michiganers not not just jihadis and like homosexuals dancing 0.98
00:25:03.560 to oh you want to dance with somebody on tiktok i i want i want to represent everyone i'm a normal 0.67
00:25:07.780 guy take you seriously doesn't do that doesn't do that really really weak stuff the democrats
00:25:14.020 it seems like the heat is getting to them in this last stretch they're starting to crack a little
00:25:18.860 bit in part it's because of crazy october surprises like the ad from amy acton's mom
00:25:24.920 like the federal investigation into ilhan omar which is heating up i don't know if we'll have
00:25:29.400 time to get to it today but it's really heating up they've seized a bunch of her documents uh
00:25:34.000 they're starting to crack a little bit in this these races according to the polls if they're
00:25:37.920 to be believed are so so close you could see if the democrats lose their momentum in that final
00:25:43.900 stretch republicans will hold the senate maybe only lose the house by a little lose a lot of
00:25:50.880 their potential power problem for all of you voters is all of us voters is even if the democrats get a
00:25:57.500 one seat majority in the house they will have subpoena power and they will drive the news cycle
00:26:04.080 for the next two years on all sorts of allegations of corruption and uh nonsense and just try to
00:26:11.380 bleed the administration dry so in any case you're going to see a real slowing down of the momentum
00:26:14.900 but if these people make it into the senate if these people make it into the governorships we
00:26:21.000 are going to see the most radical left-wing government we've ever seen in this country okay
00:26:25.380 Now, speaking of religion, the news cycle has been so crazy.
00:26:30.340 We haven't even gotten to the fact that the Pope has cancer and just had half of his lung removed.
00:26:33.820 The new Pope, the Pope who was elected last year, just had major, major surgery for a very serious kind of cancer.
00:26:41.300 And a lot of people don't know how to react.
00:26:43.700 We'll get to that in a second.
00:26:44.400 First, I want to tell you about Cardiff.
00:26:45.740 Go to cardiff.co slash Knowles, K-N-A-W-L-E-S.
00:26:48.800 There are few experiences more humbling than assembling a piece of furniture.
00:26:52.320 You open the box, there are 400 pieces.
00:26:53.920 The instructions appear to have been written by someone who has never actually seen a chair.
00:26:58.160 And three hours later, you've built something that vaguely resembles the picture.
00:27:03.200 Not for me.
00:27:04.220 The remarkable thing is how many institutions have managed to turn perfectly simple tasks
00:27:08.040 into the equivalent of assembling a Swedish wardrobe.
00:27:10.620 Take traditional business lending.
00:27:12.280 You need capital.
00:27:13.080 The bank needs 17 forms, six appointments, and possibly a notarized letter from your great-grandfather.
00:27:18.100 Cardiff takes a considerably more civilized approach.
00:27:21.140 Their online application takes about three minutes.
00:27:23.100 There's no impact to your personal credit, to view your offers, and qualified businesses
00:27:27.100 can access up to half a million dollars in same-day funding. Approval in minutes, funding
00:27:31.260 the same day. If you've been in business for at least a year and generate over $20,000 a month
00:27:35.780 in revenue, very simple. Just go to cardiff.co slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-A-S. That is cardiff.co
00:27:42.340 slash Knowles. Real growth, fast funding, cardiff, cardiff.co slash Knowles, borrow better.
00:27:50.360 The midterms are not just one national race.
00:27:53.380 There are dozens of individual contests, each reacting to its own headlines and developments.
00:27:58.180 In Maine, Troy Jackson and Susan Collins are competing in one of Calci's most actively traded Senate markets.
00:28:03.900 Track the race live in Calci's midterms hub and trade the outcome you believe will happen.
00:28:08.780 A correct contract is worth $1 at settlement.

00:28:44.080 and i have a seat over there with the legendary host of to catch predator chris hansen i told
00:28:50.960 myself i said you know in this life i don't know what's going to happen but one thing i've resolved
00:28:55.420 to do is never take a seat across from chris hansen and i violated that rule uh chris will
00:29:02.020 reveal the shocking behind the scenes stories and discuss primetime the new robert pattinson movie
00:29:06.560 that chris hansen says hollywood got completely wrong check out this teaser we found a house in
00:29:12.440 Bethpage, Long Island.
00:29:13.520 I'm driving out there and I'm thinking, you know,
00:29:15.160 what if nobody shows up?
00:29:16.080 My producer calls and said,
00:29:17.140 look, there's two guys in 45 minutes, you know, get here.
00:29:19.780 And that's where the rabbi showed up,
00:29:21.240 the military intelligence officer,
00:29:23.140 a lieutenant from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department,
00:29:25.940 who was in charge of motorcades, including the presidents.
00:29:28.460 Those were the second stink, right?
00:29:30.000 You leave the movie,
00:29:31.180 which is supposed to paint you as basically the devil himself.
00:29:34.200 You leave the movie thinking,
00:29:35.980 this movie is about as connected to reality
00:29:38.660 as a Scooby-Doo animated cartoon movie.
00:29:41.860 I mean, it's so crazy fictional.

00:30:02.580 The Pope has cancer.
00:30:04.400 The Pope has lung cancer.
00:30:05.660 He just underwent surgery
00:30:06.580 to have half his lung removed.
00:30:08.320 They found a lung nodule.
00:30:09.580 luckily it was detected at a very early stage but the tests afterward confirmed a diagnosis of
00:30:15.140 lung adenocarcinoma so they removed the lower lobe of his right lung and people don't really
00:30:23.200 know how to react you have some very uncharitable people who think that the pope is a liberal or
00:30:26.860 whatever and some of them are not exactly praying for his recovery you have a lot of people praying
00:30:31.720 for his recovery of course uh the pope himself is showing a lot of strength just days after he
00:30:37.860 got out of the hospital, here is the Pope addressing the people outside his window.
00:30:44.240 Desidero ringraziare tutti coloro che in questi giorni hanno pregato per me.
00:30:51.160 I want to thank all the people who these days have been praying for me.
00:30:53.380 Ho sentito davvero il vostro sostegno. Grazie.
00:30:57.300 Thank you very much for your support. He goes on and on. He sounds good. He's speaking with
00:31:01.000 a full voice and he looks strong and so the signs are pretty good but two thoughts come to mind one
00:31:09.020 this is a pretty young pope this is a man in his 60s this guy could be pope for 20 years
00:31:14.140 we all assumed when he was elected it said relatively a young man by pope standards he's
00:31:19.820 pretty young we all assumed he would be pope for a very very very long time but then we we forget
00:31:25.800 we do this in our own lives we just we create images of what our future is going to be with
00:31:29.560 our loved one, with our spouses and our parents and our kids and our friends. And then life just
00:31:35.480 happens. Unpredicted things just happen. The future is just an imaginary. It doesn't actually
00:31:39.560 exist yet. And so there's a world in which he's not Pope for 20 years. John Paul I was Pope for
00:31:47.580 33 days. He got elected. He was dead 33 days later. He was 65 years old, basically the same age as
00:31:52.560 Pope Leo. John Paul II was Pope for 26 years. Pope Pius IX, blessed Pius IX, Pope for 31.
00:31:59.560 years pope saint peter pope for somewhere around 35 years the records are a little little tougher
00:32:04.560 from the first century but some popes you get for 30 plus years some popes you get for 30 plus days
00:32:10.460 we don't really know but there's some for the people who especially the non-catholics out there
00:32:14.860 who believe propaganda and they think that this pope is some left wing marxist whatever and
00:32:21.120 i have plenty of questions about some things that the pope has said and i have reasonable
00:32:26.880 disagreements on the matters where it is appropriate to disagree with the pope and all those sort of
00:32:30.900 things uh however the idea that this pope is some left-wing marxist whatever when pope leo is on
00:32:38.660 virtually every issue far to the right of any republican politician in the entire country
00:32:43.580 it's kind of funny it just reminds us that placing modern american political labels on
00:32:50.320 institutions that are older uh that have been sustained since antiquity it doesn't always map
00:32:56.320 on totally right but but the other bit of prudential advice i would have here is out of
00:33:01.540 charity we should pray for the pope i think it's just good to pray for the pope as a general rule
00:33:05.120 however a little little bit of practical prudential advice reading the tea leaves of the last people
00:33:11.880 conclave even if pope leo the 14th is not the most traditional conservative whatever kind of pope
00:33:19.320 he was certainly the most traditional conservative kind of pope we were going to get
00:33:25.320 that's just based on the reporting things you hear out of the conclave.
00:33:29.540 And so if you don't like this Pope,
00:33:32.020 you certainly should still pray for his full recovery.
00:33:35.160 But even as a purely practical matter,
00:33:37.900 I don't think you want another conclave right now.
00:33:40.880 That's how I would put it that way.
00:33:42.100 So everyone should pray for the Pope,
00:33:44.000 either for smaller political reasons
00:33:47.500 or for broader Christian charitable reasons.
00:33:50.180 Speaking of the future,
00:33:51.740 Elon Musk is promising to give some of his company
00:33:54.960 to your kid and to my kid and to all of our kids.
00:33:58.620 Elon Musk posts,
00:34:00.300 next year, I will give one of my SpaceX shares
00:34:02.540 to every kid in America.
00:34:04.860 This will be the first of many.
00:34:08.060 I love this.
00:34:10.300 Elon's the man.
00:34:11.040 He's very impressive.
00:34:11.980 He's like a world historic figure.
00:34:13.680 And Elon Musk says,
00:34:15.840 I'm just going to give your kids effectively,
00:34:18.520 I don't know, what's it trading at right now?
00:34:19.700 I actually don't know what the price of SpaceX is.
00:34:22.020 I don't know, 100 bucks, 200 bucks,
00:34:23.040 whatever it's trading at right now.
00:34:23.880 I'm going to give that to every kid in America.
00:34:25.800 Elon Musk was briefly a trillionaire.
00:34:27.980 He remains the richest person ever in the history of the world.
00:34:29.820 So he can afford it.
00:34:31.020 But the reason I love this is the same reason I love the Trump accounts.
00:34:34.320 Not just because it's free money.
00:34:35.600 I'm happy to take free money for all my kids.
00:34:37.640 But because it buys people into the system.
00:34:41.320 And one of the big problems that we have now with people on the left,
00:34:45.480 even disillusioned young people and young men on the right,
00:34:48.900 is people don't feel bought into the system.
00:34:52.560 in fact when there have been threats of revolutions you saw this in the early 20th century end of the
00:34:57.540 19th century it is largely because people don't feel bought into the system this is one problem
00:35:03.700 that men like gk chesterton or hillary belloc were trying to address with their political economic
00:35:09.260 theories of distributism or applying catholic social teaching one thing that they were trying
00:35:13.520 to get it is giving people an investment into the country because if you don't have get people buy-in
00:35:20.080 into the system they're going to rebel they're going to revolt the whole system is going to
00:35:24.960 come crumbling down and everybody is going to become immiserated this is where a lot of
00:35:29.220 conservatives get a little frustrated with some of the more beltway types establishment republicans
00:35:35.400 who just think that the way to conduct politics is by mindlessly reciting the very same slogans
00:35:41.300 that worked on tv in 1987 they think that that's going to work they think in other words that
00:35:46.180 politics doesn't involve changing circumstances but of course that is at the heart of the very
00:35:50.860 definition of politics and so they'll say well if you more traditional or classical conservative
00:35:57.200 types if you ever suggest that we reform certain welfare programs that we involve the state in
00:36:05.540 matters of the economy in any way that we reshore some manufacturing that we institute some tariffs
00:36:10.680 or whatever if you ever suggest that you're basically a socialist you're bringing about
00:36:15.000 socialism jd vance is facing a lot of these i think ridiculous criticisms right now and the
00:36:20.840 response whatever you think of that claim the response from the more traditional and classical
00:36:25.820 conservatives is guys you people you just don't hear it if you just keep reciting the same slogans
00:36:33.280 that worked for a brief period of time in the late 1980s the democrats are going to win and the
00:36:38.460 democrats are now dominated by the socialists and you establishment beltway conservatives you
00:36:43.340 ironically are going to hasten the advent of socialism whereas we classical conservatives
00:36:48.560 who have i think a broader understanding of politics and a more durable understanding of
00:36:53.020 politics when we point out that people complaining about affordability have kind of a point you know
00:36:59.060 we feel your pain kind of when we at least try to speak to them to the pathos and the ethos while
00:37:04.980 still applying some logos to it when we do that what we are doing is actually stemming the ride
00:37:09.960 rise of socialism by offering some kind of alternative. So anyway, off my soapbox here,
00:37:15.040 back to Elon. This is really important. The Trump accounts are really important.
00:37:19.400 I just had a kid, so I'm especially excited about the Trump accounts. Trump accounts say
00:37:22.840 that when you have a kid now, you get a thousand bucks and it will be invested over time. It can
00:37:27.380 grow to hundreds of thousands of dollars by the time the kid turns 18 or 25 or whenever he decides
00:37:31.840 to cash it out. This is great. Just getting them involved in the market because people who are
00:37:36.360 bought into the market people who are bought in to the u.s system of government people who are
00:37:40.840 bought into specific companies in the market are going to be more likely to support them they're
00:37:45.300 going to take more care of it this is basic stuff this is this is private property 101 this is
00:37:50.380 capitalism 101 i put the phrase in quotes because capitalism is actually a term popularized by carl
00:37:56.580 marx it's a term a friend of mine made this point the other day for when right-wingers embrace this
00:38:01.800 label of capital i'm a capitalist it'd be kind of like normal people embracing the term cisgender
00:38:08.580 you know it was the radical lgbt people who came up with this term cisgender to marginalize normal
00:38:14.440 people to quote norm mcdonald and so if we were to use that term for ourselves it would be a little
00:38:19.600 weird it would be ill-fitting it's actually the same thing with capitalism we support robust
00:38:25.340 markets we support largely free exchange but i'm not a capitalist in any ideological sense
00:38:33.220 i'm a normal conservative i'm a christian i support the american tradition which involves
00:38:38.980 a lot of private property and a lot of free exchange but also some guardrails on that and
00:38:42.620 also a role for the political community to establish the boundaries of the market and i
00:38:46.320 that's the that's what we need to do we need to have buy-in is if people feel alienated from the
00:38:52.400 market, if people feel alienated from the political order, they're going to burn things down. And the
00:38:56.340 U.S. is going to end up like France is right now. Okay, we will get to some of the political disarray
00:39:00.380 first, though. I want to tell you about GOP Votes. The Democratic Socialists of America won primaries
00:39:04.840 across the country. Next, they're coming for Congress, and they're coming for you. If they win
00:39:08.240 the midterms, they will defund the police, reopen our border, and force men into women's sports.
00:39:11.960 You are the last line of defense, and GOPVotes.org is your partner in the fight. Go to GOPVotes.org
00:39:16.520 right now. Make a plan to vote early. If you live in the critical Senate battleground states of
00:39:20.600 Alaska, Michigan, Maine, Ohio, Iowa, or Texas.
00:39:23.540 Early voting is already underway this week.
00:39:25.420 Democrats are energized.
00:39:26.580 The stakes have never been higher. 1.00
00:39:27.840 We cannot afford to have people like AOC
00:39:30.560 and her communist cronies running the show.
00:39:32.920 That is why I need you to make a plan to vote early right now.
00:39:36.340 Go to gopvotes.org to find your polling location.
00:39:38.960 Vote early.
00:39:39.500 Stop the socialist takeover of America.
00:39:41.540 Paid for by SLF PAC,
00:39:43.260 not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
00:39:46.300 Well, some races draw attention.
00:39:47.740 Others become the race everyone watches.
00:39:50.600 In Texas, James Tallarico and Ken Paxton are facing off in one of Kalshi's most traded midterm markets.
00:39:56.580 Follow the race in real time on Kalshi, and then trade on the candidate you think is going to win.
00:40:01.180 Each correct contract is worth $1 at settlement.
00:40:04.320 Don't just follow the midterms, trade what happens next on Kalshi.
00:40:07.420 Use code DAILY, D-A-I-L-Y, to get up to $25 when you trade $25.
00:40:12.960 That's Kalshi, K-A-L-S-H-I, Kalshi.
00:40:16.340 Trade on anything.
00:40:17.280 18 plus only.
00:40:18.340 restrictions and eligibility requirements apply. Event contracts trading involves risk and may not
00:40:23.140 be suitable for all investors. Calci products are not available in all jurisdictions. Prices,
00:40:28.080 values, and available markets may differ from those mentioned. For more information,
00:40:31.680 see calci.com slash regulatory. My favorite comment yesterday, speaking of,
00:40:38.420 it's from Overtost, says, fortunately, France has imported a bunch of doctors and engineers
00:40:43.340 to fix Paris back to its former glory once the riding stops. So true. So true. Thank
00:40:48.220 goodness for mass migration. How would France clean up after the riots if not for all those 1.00
00:40:54.360 migrants who will eventually tucker themselves down, burning down the country? But we know 1.00
00:41:00.960 they're very industrious people, those migrants that Angela Merkel and Europe has brought into
00:41:06.480 France, right? Right? Maybe not. Speaking of, President Trump is hitting the campaign trail
00:41:12.040 to give his views on Islam, Muslims in the country,
00:41:17.180 and he uses his characteristics, subtlety and nuance.
00:41:21.860 And then today, a guy sends me something.
00:41:26.360 His name is actually Abdullah, something,
00:41:28.800 it's Abdullah, ba-ba-ba-ba-ba, Mohammed, I'll say that.
00:41:33.680 So his middle name is Mohammed, so I was right, almost.
00:41:38.320 Oh, by the way, how about that guy? 0.71
00:41:39.540 He's a jihadist. 0.99
00:41:40.480 he's a radical left person hates our country he's a member of the muslim brotherhood how about 0.93
00:41:47.880 putting him on the senate intelligence committee i love this here's how you say this in pundit talk 0.76
00:41:55.280 in pundit or maybe a little more uh academic or when you say well yes abdul al-sayed his family's
00:42:02.940 from egypt today there are some connections some associations with muslim brotherhood
00:42:06.940 he his ideology is a little unclear because he panders to muslims in dearborn michigan
00:42:11.620 but then he also appeals to college educated white liberals and that's like pundit talk right
00:42:16.820 and then there's there's president talk comes out he goes abdullah is a jihadi he's basically
00:42:22.920 osama bin laden he's a member of al-qaeda oh la la dirka dirka you're gonna vote for him you want
00:42:30.340 some in the senate don't think so and both of those statements can substantially convey truth
00:42:38.980 and they do some translated into the language of popular politics some translated into the
00:42:46.260 language of an hour-long podcast or a column or an essay i love it he just has no he has no
00:42:53.740 hesitation he has no trepidation he just goes out there he says okay what's the argument okay
00:43:01.460 we the fact is abdul al-sayed has distressing connections to radical islam that's the fact
00:43:09.220 that is very concerning relations to radical islam how will i convey that will i do it in
00:43:14.600 such a way that tries to mollify some of the muslim voters and does this no abdul
00:43:18.840 He basically, this guy basically worked with Muhammad when he was raping the Arabian Peninsula. 0.80
00:43:26.060 Anyway, you want him to do that to D.C.? I don't think so. 0.56
00:43:28.580 And then he goes on beyond Abdul al-Sayed.
00:43:31.240 He just starts making fun of Muslims generally.
00:43:35.860 All right, let's go.
00:43:37.140 Who wants to be president, everybody?
00:43:39.860 Who wants to be? Muhammad? 1.00
00:43:41.020 What about you? Muhammad, Muhammad, Muhammad, Muhammad.
00:43:44.520 Everybody's face.
00:43:45.180 you know if you're in doubt about somebody's name from the middle east just say muhammad
00:43:49.840 you had about a 65 yes hello muhammad i've done it for years now i've never been wrong
00:43:55.660 okay so he says this and he is making fun of muslims he's making fun of islam but he is
00:44:02.360 weirdly doing it in a way that a muslim could laugh at because it's true they're all named
00:44:05.740 muhammad and when he says i've been doing it for years i've never gotten it wrong what he's saying
00:44:09.840 is i've worked with muslims for years well trump is associated with lots of muslims he has very
00:44:13.680 good relations with uh muslim leaders in the gulf uh he's he famously gets along with these kinds of
00:44:19.520 people but he makes the jokes that resonate is true for everybody and this is it got me thinking
00:44:25.760 about what separates a successful presidential candidate from an unsuccessful one the main
00:44:30.480 takeaway from trump here when he goes out he says abdullah and you know let me tell you
00:44:34.520 hear about this folks hear about this they're all named muhammad i was saying for years i forget a
00:44:39.320 guy's name he's a little brown he has a turban i say hey muhammad i'm right 65 percent of the time
00:44:43.500 boom boom boom boom boom we'll get a load of this you know and he he does this on and yeah i was 0.93
00:44:48.780 looking at the republican senate candidate the other day he's got a great derriere doesn't he 0.55
00:44:53.600 yeah all right he's he has fun trump loves this trump relishes he goes out there he does two 0.86
00:45:00.860 hours three hours it's like he's doing a stand-up bit he really enjoys this whatever this is
00:45:08.340 and kamala harris did not kamala harris seemed nervous kamala harris seemed kind of anxious
00:45:14.280 she was second guessing herself she had that nervous laughter ha ha she didn't know what to 1.00
00:45:18.120 do hillary clinton hillary clinton's so stiff she doesn't enjoy that retail side of things 0.97
00:45:23.640 she barely can speak to a human being so trump wins then you think about obama i much prefer
00:45:30.280 john mccain and mit romney to barack obama of course but obama loved the retail loved the
00:45:36.200 campaigning. He looked like he was having fun up there. The same cannot be said of John McCain and
00:45:41.480 Mitt Romney. George W. Bush running against Al Gore, sanctimonious, insufferable Al Gore, and
00:45:50.040 John Kerry. John Kerry, who is a less likable Thurston Howell III. Bill Clinton, same thing.
00:46:00.560 bill clinton way way more fun up there way looser than bob dole or george hw bush that's
00:46:06.240 this might be the crucial distinction between the winning and the losing presidential candidates
00:46:12.000 because you can trace it back at least to nixon nixon might be the one where you get back in
00:46:17.560 history and you say okay you know what that guy didn't look like he was ever having fun
00:46:21.440 he was nixon was a pretty stiff guy he would walk on the beach in you know a suit and tie
00:46:26.240 but at least post Nixon it's the candidate who was looser who was having more fun he's he's the
00:46:32.300 one who wins I think that might be more crucial than all the other factors we attribute the the
00:46:38.600 victories to you know height or uh education or whatever even political uh climates so speaking
00:46:46.900 of people running for president we also get J.D. Vance on the campaign trail and one of these
00:46:52.660 rallies. J.D. faced a heckler. Here's how he handled it. For too long, ladies and gentlemen,
00:46:57.820 we have been ruled by a corrupt far left cartel that subjected this country to woke insanity for
00:47:06.560 for years.
00:47:32.560 Ladies and gentlemen,
00:47:34.560 I'm going to have to amend something I said earlier.
00:47:37.520 I said that we have had zero illegal border crossings in the United States of America.
00:47:48.900 But one isn't bad, right?
00:47:52.820 Ladies and gentlemen, we know what the guy yelling at us behind us stood for.
00:47:57.860 And we know what the far left Democrats like Don Davis stand for.
00:48:01.540 they stand for the idea that your government exists for fraudsters or criminals or illegal
00:48:08.400 aliens when we know the american government exists for american citizens yeah this is good
00:48:13.820 stuff this is good stuff very very good response here from jd for two reasons one because he
00:48:20.020 doesn't miss a beat he doesn't get stiff he doesn't do a kamala harris or hillary clinton
00:48:24.320 you know he just he just rolls with it makes a little joke he's like hey you know what actually
00:48:27.900 i gotta amend something you see that guy back there who looks like he's from latin america and
00:48:32.500 he's got a little bit of an accent there i don't know i said we didn't have any illegals i guess
00:48:35.960 i guess one of them snuck through well whatever we just took care of him right okay good doesn't
00:48:39.660 miss a beat and then he doesn't take the bait this is the other key because what the heckler
00:48:44.660 was trying to do was to get jd vans to talk about in this case the epstein files there are a handful
00:48:49.100 of things that the democrats are trying to use to provoke the republicans but that's a losing issue
00:48:53.560 It's a losing issue for a few reasons.
00:48:54.960 One, Epstein is a Democrat scandal. 0.54
00:48:57.760 All the people that Epstein was palling around with, virtually all of them, and the ones
00:49:01.220 that he was palling around with the most, were Democrats.
00:49:04.900 This was understood to be a Democrat scandal going all the way back to 2014 when the lid
00:49:08.300 kind of got blown off of it, and that it was the Democrats who were trying to tamp it down.
00:49:12.940 And then it only became a supposedly Republican scandal because Epstein was a member of the
00:49:19.340 Mar-a-Lago Club.
00:49:20.000 He and Trump were friends for a little bit, but nowhere near the kind of relationship that Epstein had with Bill Clinton, to use just one example, or Prince Andrew, or on and on and on.
00:49:30.640 So Epstein was a big proponent of major liberal causes, palling around with all the biggest libs in the country, Bill Gates, all the rest of them.
00:49:38.140 On top of that, they've never found anything implicating Trump in any wrongdoing whatsoever with regard to Epstein.
00:49:45.940 On top of that, they say he needs to release the files.
00:49:48.300 Trump did release the files.
00:49:49.760 He released over 3 million Epstein files.
00:49:51.700 It was one of the largest declassifications. 0.68
00:49:54.200 You can make the argument
00:49:54.740 it was the single largest declassification
00:49:56.580 ever in American history.
00:49:58.260 And I'm not even a proponent
00:49:59.380 of mass declassification, by the way,
00:50:00.920 because I think it can undermine due process
00:50:02.620 and compromise national security.
00:50:05.540 But that's another issue.
00:50:06.640 In any case,
00:50:07.880 J.D. could have explained all that.
00:50:09.340 He would have explained it
00:50:10.020 probably in a more articulate way
00:50:11.560 than I just did.
00:50:12.720 But you'd be losing.
00:50:13.600 It's Ronald Reagan's.
00:50:14.280 And when you're explaining,
00:50:15.080 you're losing.
00:50:15.620 Much better for the Republicans
00:50:16.640 on the trail to focus on things
00:50:17.900 like immigration which is one of the top issues the fact that the joke he went to goes to immigration
00:50:22.540 one of the few uniting issues now for the country and that is good for the administration
00:50:26.140 very very smart political instincts very very good political instincts the thing about instincts is
00:50:31.200 they're not smart you just have to either have them or you don't you just have to feel them and
00:50:34.320 jds are quite good uh and then you move on and you just you stick on track this was this was
00:50:40.020 impressive stuff obviously nobody on the trail is better than trump because trump is like the
00:50:44.480 greatest stand-up comedian of our age, certainly since Norm Macdonald died. But I thought that was
00:50:48.560 a very good response. Now, the vice president also did a much-watched and discussed interview
00:50:54.180 on CBS, CBS Town Hall, in which he addressed all the big questions that dominate the online
00:51:00.180 discourse. Mass migration, anti-Semitism, all the rest. We don't have time to get to that today,
00:51:07.040 so I'm going to try to get to it tomorrow. Today is Tee Hee Hee Tuesday. The rest of the show
