00:15:06.780When I watch the Call Her Daddy podcast, I am brought down to my knees and I start weeping tears of joy that I have avoided the fate that these women are describing.
00:15:17.440So here's the viral clip, more of Call Her Daddy than I've ever wanted to see.
00:15:21.140The host talking to Sophia Bush, who is apparently an actress, about how important it is for women to remember that they can always leave their husbands and they should.
00:15:32.920we can get really really in our heads about oh my god i feel like i'm maybe i shouldn't leave
00:15:40.820this marriage because can i even get better and the answer is yes the answer is always yes and
00:15:47.560this idea that it's too late or you're too old or who are you to want more that's patriarchy
00:15:54.300that is crazy we don't need it we don't need it girls you got girl power you go girl
00:16:02.720it's never too late to ruin your life. And you know what? She's right. She's right. This is
00:16:10.740a really profound bit of wisdom that we should all hearken to. We should all remember not to do
00:16:16.340what they think we should do, but just to remember this as a warning for our own lives.
00:16:20.660It is never too late to ruin your life. You might have everything good going. You got a good job.
00:16:27.540You got a good spouse. You got a nice family, nice house in the suburbs. You got it all, man.
00:16:32.720you can ruin your life. Do not underestimate your ability to ruin your own life because God gives us
00:16:38.340free will and he gives us abundant graces, but we have the freedom not to cooperate with those
00:16:42.760graces and people can go south real, real fast. This is the Drew Clavin orange for a head joke.
00:16:50.160No matter how good you got it, the perversity of the human heart is such that you might ask a
00:16:54.500genie to have an orange for a head. You might try to screw it all up for any manner of reasons,
00:17:00.100for money, for gluttony, for power, and certainly for lust because sexual desires are quite central
00:17:08.400to human nature. So it's never, never too late to ruin your life. And that's especially true
00:17:14.240if you have a bad ideology. Because notice what they're talking about here. They're saying,
00:17:17.280you know, you're in this marriage. If you're ever asking, could I do better than my husband?
00:17:21.020The answer is yes. So on the surface, that's not true. That's not true. And over time,
00:17:26.060the older women get, the lower their dating stock falls. The same is not true for men,
00:17:33.420but for women, it is true. The 22-year-old woman on the dating market is going to do a lot better1.00
00:17:37.980than the 32 or 42 or 52-year-old woman. It's just a fact. It's just how it works.
00:17:42.800So they're denying reality. Liberalism and feminism are grounded in a denial of reality,1.00
00:17:48.160ultimately, and a desire to change reality and make it conform to our own wills.
00:17:52.400So she says, it's never too late. If you even have the question, could I do better than my
00:17:55.920husband? The answer is yes. So that's not true. However, in some circumstances, it might be true
00:18:03.960in the sense that your husband's not perfect. Your husband, maybe he's a little fat. Maybe0.96
00:18:09.700he doesn't make enough money. Maybe he's a little short-tempered. Maybe he's a little lazy. Maybe,
00:18:14.080I don't know. We're all broken. We're all fallen. It is certainly the case. They are observing a
00:18:19.460fact of reality, that a woman could look at her husband and then look at some guy at work or look0.93
00:18:25.100at some guy on the street or some guy in church and say, that guy is better looking, richer,
00:18:31.900nicer, more virtuous than my husband. He's better in all of these objective ways.
00:18:38.060However, it does not follow that you should leave your husband for that guy.
00:18:42.260It probably is not going to work out. And furthermore, it misunderstands what marriage
00:18:48.800is. This clip has just gone viral again. A few months ago, I was in the UK. I was giving a
00:18:52.700speech at the Oxford Union. And I went on Piers Morgan's show in person. And there was this very
00:18:56.760nice guy. He was very funny. But he was a gay, kind of LGBT activist type guy. And Piers Morgan
00:19:02.920had us face off for Pride Month. This was back in June. And we were going back and forth. And
00:19:07.760it was kind of a funny conversation. But he couldn't get over the fact that I said that
00:19:13.200marriage has a meaning. He said, no, no, why don't I have the right to get married? I said,
00:19:17.780you do have the right to get married. You have the right that everyone has to get married,1.00
00:19:20.140namely to marry someone of the opposite sex because that's what marriage is. It's a natural1.00
00:19:24.680institution, marriage. And so it has a meaning. And if you try to change the meaning, you don't
00:19:29.540expand marriage, you just abolish marriage or you minimize the importance of marriage.
00:19:33.740But what is marriage? Marriage is a lifelong union with a member of the opposite sex ordered0.99
00:19:40.020toward the procreation and education of children. And so we focus on the children part of that a0.98
00:19:43.500lot. We focus on the sexual complementarity part of that. We don't focus as much on the lifelong
00:19:48.920union part of that. Because you might say, well, people can get divorced. That's true. Someone
00:19:53.820might lose his arm in an industrial accident. It doesn't mean that human beings normatively don't
00:19:58.240have two arms. As a matter of nature, as a matter of telos, as a matter of just how things are
00:20:06.020ordered to be, marriage is a lifelong union. And you know why? Because if you have a union of two
00:20:13.080people of the opposite sex, even ordered toward the procreation of children, but it's not a
00:20:17.260lifelong union, we have a term for that. It's called dating. It's called concubinage. We have
00:20:23.680multiple terms for that. But the thing that distinguishes marriage from boyfriends and
00:20:28.800girlfriends is that it is a lifelong commitment that you make in front of the public magistrate,
00:20:34.340in front of God, in front of your community. That's what it is. So for the call her daddy
00:20:39.920ladies to say, if the grass is looking greener on the other side of the fence, you can always
00:20:43.800leave your husband and find some other guy. That's what you have to do to empower yourself.0.98
00:20:48.340What they are fundamentally misunderstanding is what marriage is. Of course, the question is,
00:20:51.860why did you get married in the first place, lady? Why didn't you just keep dating this guy?0.98
00:20:56.080Very, very confused people. And they're confused ideologically and probably by their
00:21:00.600disordered behaviors and habits and vices and desires. But in any case,
00:21:05.460it's never too late to ruin your life and the people who believe in those ideologies and the
00:21:11.460people who practice those kinds of bad habits are much more likely to ruin their life please avoid
00:21:17.940becoming like anyone who has ever appeared on call her daddy okay speaking of weird sex stuff
00:21:22.180cenk yuger of the young turks has a big october surprise apparently he tweets out just last night
00:21:30.520we're going to drop a bombshell documentary on the Young Turks tomorrow morning called
00:21:36.520The Closetocracy. Which US senator did we catch using male escorts? So right off the bat,
00:21:44.900I don't know if I believe it. I don't know. Maybe it's a bombshell. People hype this stuff all the
00:21:49.440time. Is it really persuasive? Did they really get a guy? Is it a living US senator? Is it some
00:21:54.140US senator from like 30 years ago? I don't know. The Young Turks and everyone around it,
00:21:58.920They got some weird sexual hangups, no doubt about it.
00:36:05.900Firearm storage is certainly one place
00:36:08.300where I think we got to keep things simple.
00:36:10.540Owning a firearm comes with responsibilities.
00:36:12.120that includes thinking about how you store it before you ever need access to it. One thing that
00:36:17.200I really appreciate about the approach behind Stopbox, the Stopbox Pro is totally mechanical,
00:36:22.640no keys, no batteries. Its five-button interface is designed for muscle memory,
00:36:26.620helping you maintain control over access to your firearm without adding another electronic device
00:36:31.000to manage. It is also made right here in the USA, supporting American workers. If you need more room,
00:36:36.700their new Stopbox UCAN uses the same mechanical locking system with additional capacity for
00:36:41.240firearms, ammunition, and other equipment. For a limited time, our listeners get 10% off

00:37:07.960But Kalshi gives you another way to follow a race, a live market that moves as traders respond to new information.

00:42:06.200And the reason why is, yes, in principle, you could change the number of justices.
00:42:11.240We've done it in early American history.
00:42:13.300But the number of justices has been set at nine since 1969.
00:42:18.760So for the majority of American history, 157 years, the Supreme Court justice number has been fixed.
00:42:25.440And it got changed a little bit during the Civil War, during a major national cataclysm in the very early days of the republic in order to just try to work out the kinks of the government.
00:42:34.780but other than literal civil war and the early days of refining the system of government,
00:42:41.680you know, around the time when we didn't even quite know if we had judicial review yet,
00:42:45.760around those times we changed it. But really since then, it's been set at nine.
00:42:50.160The last time that the libs tried to change the court, it was under FDR and they tried to change
00:42:54.800the number for the same reason they're doing it today, because they knew that their legislative
00:42:58.320program was illegal. The court was fulfilling its duty as a check on the appetites reflected in the
00:43:04.440legislative branch and on the spirited part of the executive branch. And they said, no,
00:43:09.800we have to be the logical check on that. That is the system our framers gave us,
00:43:13.540drawing upon Montesquieu and even parts of the classical legal tradition. And these guys are
00:43:17.980saying, nope, forget about that. No checks and balances, no nothing, no logical part of the
00:43:22.720government. You do what we want, tyranny of the will. This is the stuff they're saying openly.
00:43:29.540then you have elissa slotkin saying by the way we're going to persecute every republican in
00:43:38.080the entire country anyone who's within a 10 000 mile blast radius of trump we're going to scare
00:43:42.64018 year old college kids into never wanting to work on a republican campaign because we'll ruin
00:43:48.380their families and send them to prison if they ever think about it she's saying this on camera
00:43:52.840this is what we're up against which is why it is really really crucial for you to go out there and
00:43:59.000vote, vote early, vote often, and whatever your hang up. So I don't like this candidate because
00:44:03.080he said this thing. I don't like this candidate because I don't like the cut of his jib.
00:44:06.380This guy should be more conservative. This guy should be less conservative. I don't like this
00:44:10.200brutal attack ad, for instance. I don't like this. I don't like that. Do you know what the
00:44:15.120stakes are? Do you know what we're up against? Do you know what they're openly promising to do?
00:44:18.820I'm not even doing that thing that Republican campaigners do, which is this. The midterm
00:44:24.080elections of 1998 are the most important election in our lifetime. I'm not even, I'm not doing that
00:44:29.900thing. I'm just playing clips of what they themselves are promising to do. Blow up the
00:44:35.760Supreme Court, persecute every Republican in the country, chop off kids' genitals, kill all the1.00
00:44:40.360babies, give amnesty to tens of millions of illegals, give statehood to Washington, D.C.,0.99
00:44:45.400permanently upending the balance of power in the country, or at least upending it for the
00:44:49.160foreseeable future, preventing Republicans from winning a presidential election again.
00:44:52.380This is the stuff they're running on openly.
00:44:56.020So I think we got to keep our priorities in order.
