00:00:37.700 The Covington kids sue the Washington Post for a quarter of a billion dollars.
00:00:42.160 Crooked ex-FBI official Andy McCabe walks back comments on the coup d'etat that he helped plan.
00:00:48.400 New York's Bolshevik mayor Bill de Blasio attacks Ocasio-Cortez as too far left.
00:00:52.900 And Kamala Harris's own father attacks her for cynically playing identity politics.
00:00:59.520 We ask, has the left finally gone too far?
00:01:02.480 I'm Michael Knowles, and this is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:11.280 This is a day that we have all been waiting for.
00:01:13.820 After weeks of the left going completely insane, we've wondered, is there a limit to this?
00:01:19.680 Is there any point that they can reach where members of their own party will push back,
00:01:23.740 where the American people will push back?
00:01:25.280 I think we have reached it, and we have reached it explicitly today.
00:01:29.000 All of the evidence shows a major pushback, not just from Howard Schultz, although he's part of it,
00:01:34.860 but from members of the Democrat Party, from left-wingers, from Bolsheviks like Bill de Blasio.
00:01:39.320 We'll go through all of it, but first, let's make a little money, honey, with Dollar Shave Club.
00:01:43.900 I love that Dollar Shave Club has everything I need to look, feel, and smell my best.
00:01:48.140 What I love even more is that I never have to go to the store.
00:01:50.560 That's because Dollar Shave Club delivers everything that I need right to my door,
00:01:55.940 and they keep me fully stocked on what I use so I don't run out.
00:01:58.600 Here's how it works.
00:01:59.440 They have everything you need to get ready, no matter what you're getting ready for.
00:02:03.200 They have you covered head to toe, your hair, your skin, your face, you name it.
00:02:06.840 They have this new program where they automatically keep you stocked up on the products that you use.
00:02:11.440 For instance, look at my shiny, beautiful teeth.
00:02:14.520 Look at those teeth.
00:02:15.060 You see that?
00:02:15.640 You need good toothpaste.
00:02:16.980 And this is one of those things I always forget to go to the store to buy toothpaste,
00:02:20.340 so you're there at the very end of the tube squeezing out, you know,
00:02:23.920 one hundredth of a cent worth of toothpaste until the very end.
00:02:27.800 Or sometimes, I hate to be a little behind the curtain here on this,
00:02:31.920 sometimes you don't even, you just try to brush as best you can with the remnant scraps of toothpaste.
00:02:36.980 Don't do that.
00:02:37.680 No more.
00:02:38.180 Get that beautiful Dollar Shave Club toothpaste.
00:02:41.000 It gets automatically sent to you.
00:02:42.600 It's just fabulous.
00:02:43.480 Right now, they've got a bunch of starter sets you can try for just five bucks like their oral care kit.
00:02:47.740 After that, the restock box ships regular sized products at regular price.
00:02:51.320 What are you waiting for?
00:02:52.320 Get your starter set for just five bucks right now.
00:02:54.460 Five bucks.
00:02:55.080 That's like nothing.
00:02:55.860 Go to dollarshaveclub.com slash covfefe, C-O-V-F-E-F-E.
00:02:59.660 That is dollarshaveclub.com slash covfefe, C-O-V-F-E-F-E.
00:03:06.760 So the first bit of evidence that the left has gone too far and we're not going to take it anymore
00:03:11.560 comes in the form of those Covington High School kids.
00:03:16.120 You remember the kids waiting for their bus outside in Washington.
00:03:19.540 A bunch of black supremacists start screaming at them.
00:03:21.620 That Native American lunatic walks up and starts banging a drum in the kid's face.
00:03:25.400 Kid does nothing other than sort of smile a little bit.
00:03:28.880 And the whole mainstream media, the whole left wing, Democrat presidential candidates,
00:03:33.320 they all pile on the kid.
00:03:34.960 They say that he ran up to them.
00:03:37.720 He was provoking them.
00:03:39.500 He totally smeared this kid, Nick Sandman.
00:03:42.480 He is fighting back.
00:03:45.620 He is now suing the Washington Post for a quarter of a billion dollars.
00:03:51.840 Ha ha ha.
00:03:53.080 Happy day.
00:03:53.800 It's so good.
00:03:56.000 I'm not the only one celebrating.
00:03:58.020 President Trump himself is celebrating.
00:04:00.020 And I got to tell you, I have been waiting over three years for this tweet.
00:04:05.300 President Trump tweeted, quote,
00:04:07.860 The Washington Post ignored basic journalistic standards because it wanted to advance its
00:04:12.680 well-known and easily documented biased agenda against President Donald J. Trump.
00:04:17.580 Covington students suing WAPO.
00:04:20.260 Go get them, Nick.
00:04:22.040 Fake news.
00:04:24.560 I have been waiting over three years for this tweet.
00:04:28.300 I have been waiting three years ever since Barack Obama tweeted out to that kid who had,
00:04:33.800 it was, I guess, sort of like a bomb hoax in his school from this,
00:04:37.520 he's the son of this activist, radical activist.
00:04:40.280 And the kid brought in what looked like a bomb, but it was a disassembled clock that he didn't even build.
00:04:45.720 He just sort of took apart part of a clock.
00:04:48.020 And Barack Obama weighs in on this.
00:04:51.060 And he obviously is in favor of the radical left here.
00:04:54.540 And he tweets, cool clock, Achmed.
00:04:57.200 Want to bring it to the White House?
00:04:59.060 We should inspire more kids like you to like science.
00:05:02.560 It's what makes America great.
00:05:05.100 And we just sat there and we thought, you jerk, Barack Obama.
00:05:10.520 You have to just needle all of America all the time.
00:05:15.660 Imply that Americans are racist.
00:05:18.120 Imply that they are irrationally, religiously bigoted.
00:05:21.620 It just, mm, mm, mm, just twist that little knife.
00:05:25.260 And we have been waiting now for over three years for the answer.
00:05:28.760 And we got the answer.
00:05:30.500 And the answer wasn't because some guy made a clock or whatever.
00:05:34.920 No, the answer was because a high school kid is suing WAPO for a quarter of a billion dollars.
00:05:41.420 Go get them, Nick.
00:05:42.540 Fake news.
00:05:43.500 Ha, ha, ha.
00:05:44.100 How's it feel?
00:05:44.800 How's it feel, left-wing America?
00:05:46.840 How's it feel, Washington Post?
00:05:48.300 Oh, it's so good.
00:05:49.720 It's the perfect response.
00:05:51.060 Revenge is a dish best tweeted three years later when you might take down that stupid fake newspaper,
00:05:59.260 The Washington Post.
00:06:00.520 Ha, ha, ha, ha.
00:06:02.860 So the, I'm enjoying this so much that it takes a while to come back and ask the question,
00:06:10.500 does the kid have a case?
00:06:12.660 I don't really care if he does or not.
00:06:14.300 I just love this lawsuit.
00:06:15.520 But it'd be better, obviously, if he does have a case.
00:06:18.520 And the evidence points to the Covington kid, Nick Sandman, actually having a defamation case against the Washington Post.
00:06:26.780 Why, why does he?
00:06:29.220 I mean, it's very hard to prove defamation or libel or slander or calumny.
00:06:33.720 It's very difficult because you have to show intent.
00:06:36.680 You have to show recklessness.
00:06:37.940 You have to show that they were ignoring certain things.
00:06:43.120 Alan Dershowitz, one of the leading lawyers in the whole country for the past 40 years, 50 years,
00:06:48.140 believes that these kids have a case.
00:06:51.280 The lawsuit claims that the Washington Post, quote,
00:06:54.380 ignored the truth and falsely accused Nicholas of, among other things,
00:06:59.940 accosting, in quotes, Phillips by suddenly swarming him in a threatening and physically intimidating manner.
00:07:09.680 Now, did the Washington Post just get the story wrong?
00:07:12.560 Because then I don't know if they have a case.
00:07:13.900 Does this very language constitute defamation in and of itself?
00:07:21.240 Well, I don't know.
00:07:21.880 How does a 16-year-old kid appear physically threatening?
00:07:25.700 The kid, I mean, not, I don't mean to criticize the kid at all.
00:07:28.920 He's not the most physically intimidating guy to begin with.
00:07:32.540 Is he intimidating him because he's sort of smiling while some lunatic is banging a drum in his face?
00:07:36.720 That's not threatening.
00:07:38.120 When was he threatening him?
00:07:39.800 When did they suddenly swarm?
00:07:41.220 There was no evidence whatsoever that they suddenly swarmed.
00:07:44.640 None at all.
00:07:45.580 The Washington Post invented that out of whole cloth.
00:07:48.200 How do we know that?
00:07:49.100 Because the short video that was first released didn't show that.
00:07:51.840 And then the longer video obviously didn't show that.
00:07:54.120 Instead, you had the Native American lunatic and the black supremacists swarming the kids.
00:08:00.420 Native American, or the black supremacists screaming at the kids, starting the confrontation,
00:08:05.460 and then the Native American lunatic physically going up to the kids and banging a drum in their face.
00:08:10.200 That's obviously more threatening than smirking.
00:08:12.780 Banging a drum in some kid's face instead of just a little assault smirk, a hate smirk.
00:08:18.560 Now, the Sandman attorney goes on further, and this is like the best part of it.
00:08:22.700 Quote,
00:08:22.920 All members of the mainstream and social media mob of bullies who recklessly and viciously attacked Nick
00:08:29.480 would be well served to read it carefully, referring to the lawsuit.
00:08:35.080 Now, the language here was very precise and it was intentional.
00:08:38.860 All these other members of the media, as well as these online celebrities, presidential candidates,
00:08:44.320 would be well served to read it carefully, as in served with a lawsuit.
00:08:49.900 So, this clearly is a legal threat.
00:08:52.820 What it seems to imply, I hope it's not an empty threat,
00:08:55.220 what it seems to imply is that Sandman is going to be going after other people as well who piled on him.
00:09:01.120 Good. I hope so.
00:09:02.480 I hope he takes these people for all they're worth.
00:09:05.740 I hope he rips the Washington Post to the ground.
00:09:08.460 The Washington Post is already a journalistic pile of rubble,
00:09:12.200 and they should empty out that building as well.
00:09:14.780 They should empty out the payroll as well.
00:09:16.520 They should empty out the corporate structure as well.
00:09:19.600 And that way you can have the corporate structure match the journalistic standards that they adhere to,
00:09:25.220 which is absolute ruins.
00:09:27.140 Same thing with the Democrat presidential candidates.
00:09:29.320 Same thing with the online celebrities.
00:09:31.300 It's fabulous.
00:09:32.160 In New York City, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has gone too far left as well.
00:09:36.740 How do we know that?
00:09:37.380 It's not just the Washington Post.
00:09:38.640 It's not just these online celebrities.
00:09:40.100 AOC has gone too far left, even for the Bolshevik mayor, Bill de Blasio.
00:09:48.260 So Bill de Blasio was interviewed on NBC News, and he was asked about the Amazon deal.
00:09:56.980 Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez almost single-handedly chased Amazon out of New York.
00:10:01.900 This destroyed 40,000 jobs, the jobs with an average salary of $150,000, a ton of tax revenue from that borough,
00:10:12.020 from that neighborhood, going into the city, going into the state.
00:10:15.220 Even lefty lunatics like de Blasio were begging for Amazon to come there,
00:10:21.360 and Ocasio-Cortez chased them out.
00:10:24.540 Here is Bill de Blasio trying to walk this tightrope between not going explicitly after AOC,
00:10:32.960 but also saying, look, we progressives, we Democrats are not anti-job.
00:10:38.380 Please don't get the wrong impression.
00:10:40.180 Please don't think that we're chasing jobs.
00:10:42.040 I mean, they are.
00:10:43.080 The leading spokesman for progressivism right now, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez,
00:10:47.460 is explicitly saying, we don't need your jobs.
00:10:50.260 We don't need your money.
00:10:51.940 We don't need your productive economy.
00:10:53.540 I mean, he's saying, no, no, no, don't believe that.
00:10:55.200 Here, he's trying to make the case.
00:10:56.480 He opens up his NBC interview.
00:10:58.360 He says, before we get to anything.
00:11:00.480 Well, Chuck, it's great to be here, but I'm a progressive and I'm proud to be.
00:11:03.520 Progressives are about jobs for working people.
00:11:06.680 That's an essential progressive value.
00:11:09.460 It isn't, though.
00:11:10.800 I see why he has to make that case, because the left has been exposed.
00:11:14.480 The left has exposed itself.
00:11:16.180 But jobs for working people is not a progressive value.
00:11:20.100 The progressive value is not about helping out the poor.
00:11:24.360 The progressive value is about hurting the rich.
00:11:28.080 This has always been true.
00:11:29.380 We've always known this to be true.
00:11:31.220 But they have exposed themselves in this Amazon deal.
00:11:34.320 The Amazon deal, which would have cost the city nothing,
00:11:36.760 it would have cost them $3 billion in tax incentives,
00:11:41.100 out of an additional $27 billion in tax revenue that they were going to get,
00:11:45.460 would have created tens of thousands of jobs, an enormous amount of wealth.
00:11:50.220 Forget about just tax receipts to the state and local governments.
00:11:53.640 Just the wealth that this would have created for New York would have been immense.
00:11:58.540 And they gave all of that up on the ideology of progressivism,
00:12:02.720 because by helping the working class and the middle class in New York,
00:12:07.200 it would have also helped the rich.
00:12:09.640 And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her fellow progressives cannot abide that.
00:12:13.400 They would rather hurt the rich than help the poor.
00:12:18.240 It is, Winston Churchill said,
00:12:20.000 socialism is the creed of ignorance, the gospel of envy,
00:12:25.180 and the philosophy of failure.
00:12:27.820 And that's what it is.
00:12:28.740 Margaret Thatcher said,
00:12:29.720 you would rather the difference in wealth between the rich and the poor
00:12:34.120 be smaller, even if everybody got poorer,
00:12:38.340 than for the difference in wealth between the rich and the poor to increase,
00:12:41.640 even if everyone gets richer.
00:12:43.040 We've been making this point for decades now.
00:12:45.800 AOC is spelling it out.
00:12:47.400 De Blasio is still trying to keep a lid on it.
00:12:49.880 She also exposes herself for not understanding anything about economics.
00:12:56.140 I don't mean that she doesn't understand some advanced aspect of economics,
00:13:00.000 some contentious part.
00:13:01.060 I mean, she doesn't understand even what a tax is.
00:13:05.080 She doesn't even know what taxes are.
00:13:07.340 We'll show that clip in a second,
00:13:08.700 and we'll show De Blasio trying to talk about it,
00:13:10.980 trying to walk it back.
00:13:11.760 But first, we do understand money here.
00:13:14.440 We do understand how money works,
00:13:15.880 so let's make a little money, honey, with honey.
00:13:17.900 Millions of top-rated sellers are offering the exact same products on Amazon.
00:13:22.220 Finding the best deal feels like looking for an invisible needle in the world's biggest haystack.
00:13:26.680 Thanks to Honey, the free browser extension,
00:13:28.760 I always get the best price on Amazon without lifting a finger.
00:13:32.040 Honey automatically goes to work whenever I shop on Amazon.
00:13:34.360 It compares the prices of every seller that carries the item that I want.
00:13:37.400 Honey factors in shipping, sales tax, and Amazon Prime status to make sure I'm getting the lowest total price.
00:13:42.740 It makes the best deal every time, even if Amazon doesn't.
00:13:46.160 It's like having your very own personal shopping assistant.
00:13:48.820 I got this just the other day.
00:13:50.960 I was buying a Valentine's Day present for sweet little Elisa,
00:13:53.860 and I was going on Amazon.
00:13:56.660 You know, you're looking at all the different prices and everything,
00:13:59.320 and different people selling the same product.
00:14:01.300 You just don't know.
00:14:02.040 You don't need to worry about that with Honey.
00:14:03.540 You go to Honey.
00:14:04.500 Honey will track the price for you.
00:14:06.200 It will show you other sellers that have it.
00:14:08.260 I was able to get the cheapest price on sweet little Elisa's AirPods,
00:14:12.220 and they're very cool.
00:14:12.820 I love it.
00:14:15.220 I mean, I've been using Honey since before the Daily Wire existed.
00:14:17.640 I've saved thousands of dollars on it.
00:14:19.020 More than 10 million people are using Honey to save money.
00:14:21.500 It has over 100,000 five-star reviews on the Chrome store.
00:14:23.940 It's free money.
00:14:24.960 Next time you're shopping on Amazon, don't wonder whether you found the best deal.
00:14:28.280 Just add Honey.
00:14:28.820 You get the best price automatically.
00:14:30.360 Add Honey for free at joinhoney.com slash covfefe.
00:14:33.800 C-O-V-F-E-F-E.
00:14:35.560 That is joinhoney.com slash covfefe.
00:14:38.660 C-O-V-F-E-F-E.
00:14:40.260 Honey, the smart shopping assistant
00:14:41.940 that helps save you time and money.
00:14:44.860 Honey.
00:14:46.500 So Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez,
00:14:48.320 this is the clip that de Blasio has to react to.
00:14:52.280 Good on Chuck Todd, actually, for playing it.
00:14:54.860 Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is talking.
00:14:56.960 She's celebrating how she chased Amazon out of New York.
00:15:00.660 Yeah, we got rid of 40,000 jobs.
00:15:02.480 Woo-hoo!
00:15:03.000 We did it.
00:15:03.580 Progressivism for the win.
00:15:05.160 And Chuck Todd has to play this clip for Bill de Blasio.
00:15:09.100 He has a tough answer,
00:15:09.900 but just listen to how this woman misunderstands taxes.
00:15:14.220 If we were willing to give Amazon three,
00:15:16.540 if we were willing to give away $3 billion for this deal,
00:15:20.320 we could invest those $3 billion in our district ourselves if we wanted to.
00:15:24.300 We could hire out more teachers.
00:15:26.100 We can fix our subways.
00:15:27.860 We can put a lot of people to work for that money if we wanted to.
00:15:31.180 No, you can't because the money doesn't exist.
00:15:33.680 I cannot believe, this makes total sense now.
00:15:37.760 I mean, this is why she, I guess, just pure ignorance coupled with her ideology
00:15:44.260 caused her to fight and get rid of 40,000 jobs in her district.
00:15:49.860 The $3 billion does not exist.
00:15:53.680 New York said that they would give $3 billion in tax incentives to Amazon
00:15:57.140 if they put their headquarters there.
00:15:58.560 A tax incentive is a rebate on the taxes that you pay.
00:16:05.160 So in order to get the $3 billion in tax incentives,
00:16:08.720 you have to pay at least $3 billion in the first place.
00:16:14.500 If that revenue isn't there, revenue to the government,
00:16:17.460 you don't get the tax incentive.
00:16:20.160 She thinks there's just like $3 billion sitting around on 15th Street
00:16:24.500 just waiting to be picked up and doled out to everybody.
00:16:27.580 No, no, no.
00:16:28.880 Amazon provides the money from which the,
00:16:32.940 that includes and encompasses the $3 billion.
00:16:36.280 So if there's no Amazon, there's no $3 billion.
00:16:40.240 This girl has a degree in economics from Boston University.
00:16:44.580 Boston University should shut down.
00:16:46.720 We should shut her, we should decertify Boston University.
00:16:49.880 If you can get a degree in economics from Boston University
00:16:52.780 and not understand what a tax is,
00:16:56.800 that university should not exist.
00:17:00.520 People should, I mean, certainly no one should send their children there
00:17:03.520 if they want to study economics.
00:17:05.560 Because even if you, if you could learn economics there,
00:17:08.920 look at how low the standards have fallen.
00:17:11.100 So she doesn't understand what a basic tax is.
00:17:14.480 By the way, the entire role of Congress is to control the purse strings.
00:17:18.100 She's a congresswoman.
00:17:19.740 Doesn't understand the very basics of taxes.
00:17:22.320 Here, Bill de Blasio tries to explain,
00:17:25.780 without going after her too hard,
00:17:27.680 what a tax incentive is.
00:17:28.900 A lot of people think that when you give a tax incentive,
00:17:32.300 that somehow that's, oh, that's money you had over here
00:17:36.500 and it was going over there.
00:17:37.920 These were, this is money that didn't exist,
00:17:40.100 this $3 billion.
00:17:41.100 Okay.
00:17:41.860 Do you feel as if this is a problem
00:17:44.520 in trying to explain how this deal worked?
00:17:47.160 Yeah, look, this was a deal that was going to bring
00:17:48.800 $27 billion in revenue to the state and city
00:17:52.780 for things like public education, mass transit, affordable housing.
00:17:56.300 And that $3 billion would go back in tax incentives
00:17:58.620 was only after we were getting the jobs
00:18:00.640 and getting the revenue.
00:18:01.240 There's not $3 billion in money that exists anywhere, correct?
00:18:04.340 Exactly.
00:18:05.060 So here's the bottom line.
00:18:06.400 I think people were looking for fairness here.
00:18:10.180 They were looking for a positive outcome.
00:18:12.960 Okay.
00:18:13.640 So he says, well, no, yeah, it's not.
00:18:16.300 No, she's not quite.
00:18:17.660 But he won't go after her specifically.
00:18:20.360 Why not?
00:18:21.160 Because she's influential nationally.
00:18:22.920 And he keeps saying, look, I'm defining progressivism.
00:18:25.680 No, progressivism is pro-jobs.
00:18:27.520 It's pro-worker.
00:18:28.440 No, you're not.
00:18:29.040 And the way that we know that you are not the spokesman
00:18:31.780 for progressivism is that you won't criticize AOC,
00:18:35.960 who just lost your city $27 billion in tax revenue,
00:18:39.960 40,000 jobs, average jobs of $150,000.
00:18:43.260 You won't go after her because she is popular nationally.
00:18:47.300 She is a far more widely known spokesman for progressivism
00:18:52.300 than Bill de Blasio is.
00:18:54.120 And this is what happens, by the way,
00:18:55.600 when you follow AOC and you are factually incorrect
00:18:59.520 but morally right.
00:19:00.900 There's no such thing as that.
00:19:02.060 She said the other day, some people,
00:19:03.700 they're so obsessed with being factually correct
00:19:05.620 that they're not morally right.
00:19:08.160 In order to be morally right,
00:19:09.600 you have to be factually correct.
00:19:11.140 What AOC just did is immoral.
00:19:13.280 She deprived that district of 40,000 jobs,
00:19:15.840 a ton of money, a ton of wealth.
00:19:17.380 And she did it because she was factually incorrect.
00:19:21.160 She didn't know what a tax was.
00:19:23.500 She thought that the city was going to spend $3 billion
00:19:25.600 to bring Amazon there.
00:19:28.440 $3 billion that they could have invested in the people.
00:19:30.540 No, no, no.
00:19:30.880 That money doesn't exist.
00:19:32.080 They were just going to take $3 billion less.
00:19:34.600 Out of $27 billion,
00:19:36.020 it was going to go to the city anyway.
00:19:37.940 So, we know that this is not the first time
00:19:42.240 that AOC has demonstrated her economic illiteracy,
00:19:45.340 her factual incorrectness.
00:19:46.800 Ben Stein, here he is,
00:19:48.060 making that point just the other day.
00:19:50.220 We're going to have Medicare for all.
00:19:52.040 That means we're going to have bankruptcy for all.
00:19:54.140 Look, Ms. Cortez has a plan
00:19:56.040 to do a gigantic amount of rebuilding of this country.
00:19:59.780 It's going to bankrupt this country.
00:20:01.460 It's going to make this country literally bankrupt.
00:20:03.540 If the Green New Deal were ever signed into law
00:20:07.120 on that day,
00:20:08.040 the American people would be bankrupt forever.
00:20:11.020 So, it's a very, very serious step.
00:20:13.140 We've got to step back.
00:20:14.240 We went way, way, way far back.
00:20:16.120 Bankrupt forever.
00:20:17.040 And he's not exaggerating.
00:20:18.220 He's not joking.
00:20:19.580 $40 trillion instantly.
00:20:21.820 You kill the entire economy.
00:20:23.400 You take over whole industries.
00:20:24.760 That would bankrupt us forever.
00:20:27.140 That would be Venezuela.
00:20:29.020 People think Venezuela could never happen here.
00:20:30.880 The way Venezuela happens here
00:20:32.160 is the Green New Deal, quote unquote.
00:20:33.880 The Democrats weren't always like this.
00:20:37.340 Democrats have passed big, radical spending packages
00:20:39.680 in the past.
00:20:40.900 Hasn't totally destroyed our country.
00:20:44.060 What's different now is the degree.
00:20:47.060 It's not different in kind.
00:20:48.300 They were always pretty radical.
00:20:49.520 They were always spending a lot of money.
00:20:50.720 They were always economically largely illiterate.
00:20:53.020 But what's happened now
00:20:54.140 is they have gone so far to the left
00:20:56.320 that you're talking about
00:20:59.120 not just hampering the economy for four or eight years.
00:21:01.700 You're talking about bankrupting us forever
00:21:03.240 when you talk about the Green New Deal.
00:21:04.920 When you have gone further left than Bill de Blasio,
00:21:07.160 you are through the looking glass.
00:21:09.260 And it's not just in New York.
00:21:10.620 It's not just on economic matters.
00:21:12.180 Nationally speaking,
00:21:14.500 Andy McCabe,
00:21:15.640 the guy who tried to launch a coup d'etat
00:21:17.760 on President Donald Trump,
00:21:19.380 has now gone too far,
00:21:20.800 even for some Democrats.
00:21:22.060 He's gone too far.
00:21:22.920 He's pushed the left too far.
00:21:24.740 And so now he's got to walk back.
00:21:26.240 Remember, we did a whole show
00:21:27.200 on disgraced FBI agent Andy McCabe's
00:21:30.520 attempted coup d'etat.
00:21:33.260 We went through point by point what he said.
00:21:35.840 Now he's walking that back
00:21:37.260 because he admitted to treason
00:21:38.560 all to sell a book.
00:21:40.160 He admitted to being a traitor to his country.
00:21:43.100 Listen to how the exposed liar,
00:21:45.540 the demonstrable liar, Andy McCabe,
00:21:48.220 contradicts his previous statements
00:21:50.100 that he made just a few days ago.
00:21:51.360 He's contradicting them now yesterday on MSNBC.
00:21:54.180 Discussing the 25th Amendment,
00:21:55.700 which removes a duly elected president
00:21:57.740 from office?
00:21:58.620 The conversation was not about
00:22:00.800 removing the president.
00:22:01.740 Well, that's what the 25th Amendment is.
00:22:03.200 Yeah, so Rod brought up the 25th Amendment,
00:22:05.960 mentioned it in the course of a wide-ranging
00:22:08.060 and frenetic conversation.
00:22:09.840 It is not something that I'm aware of
00:22:11.500 he took any action to pursue.
00:22:13.400 I don't know about any other meetings
00:22:14.800 that included discussions of it.
00:22:16.820 It was simply one thing,
00:22:18.440 one topic in the midst of a whole host of issues
00:22:22.060 that we were thinking about
00:22:23.400 and kind of working through our heads.
00:22:25.520 Did he present that idea to other cabinet officials
00:22:28.080 because, you know, he had to count heads
00:22:29.900 to see, do I have the votes to remove the president?
00:22:32.160 Not that I'm aware of.
00:22:33.180 I have no indication.
00:22:34.780 No, not that I'm aware.
00:22:35.800 No indication that he was counting the votes.
00:22:37.920 No indication whatsoever.
00:22:39.660 Except that three days ago,
00:22:42.680 he said that Rod Rosenstein was counting the votes.
00:22:45.680 Other cabinet members
00:22:47.300 and whether or not people would support such an idea,
00:22:50.740 whether or not other cabinet members
00:22:52.620 would shared his belief
00:22:55.120 that the president was really concerning,
00:23:00.000 was concerning, Rod, at that time.
00:23:02.000 Rosenstein was actually openly talking about
00:23:06.720 whether there was a majority of the cabinet
00:23:08.640 who would vote to remove the president.
00:23:10.180 That's correct.
00:23:12.600 Counting votes
00:23:13.360 or possible votes.
00:23:17.560 He explicitly uses the phrase,
00:23:20.700 yes, he was counting votes.
00:23:22.380 But, I mean, we know that,
00:23:23.540 we know that this guy is a liar.
00:23:25.000 He got fired from the FBI for being a liar.
00:23:27.140 But we know at the very beginning of his interview,
00:23:29.520 the one on MSNBC,
00:23:30.840 he said,
00:23:31.780 no, no, we weren't talking about removing the president.
00:23:33.760 We were just talking about the 25th Amendment.
00:23:35.340 And then, good on the MSNBC panel,
00:23:38.420 he said,
00:23:38.760 the entire point of the 25th Amendment
00:23:42.560 is to remove the president.
00:23:44.020 He said, yeah, yeah, but we were,
00:23:45.420 no, but that was part of a wide-ranging discussion.
00:23:48.700 Right, I don't care if you were talking
00:23:50.020 about your favorite apple pie recipe.
00:23:51.780 You were talking about it.
00:23:53.060 You were talking about it.
00:23:54.220 You just said you were talking about it.
00:23:55.640 Then you said you weren't talking about it.
00:23:57.340 Now you're admitting you were talking about it.
00:23:59.060 But this guy is a liar.
00:24:00.580 I mean, his words are worth nothing,
00:24:02.760 which is why we've got to investigate
00:24:04.220 what he's really doing.
00:24:05.440 And you've got to remember,
00:24:06.400 when this guy was found to have lied to investigators,
00:24:09.200 the inspector general turned his case over
00:24:13.000 to the U.S. attorney for possible prosecution.
00:24:16.700 And also, good on CNN,
00:24:18.480 CNN legal analyst,
00:24:20.360 Ellie Honig,
00:24:22.080 who's probably not going to be
00:24:23.100 a CNN legal analyst for long.
00:24:24.780 He came out,
00:24:26.200 and he came out strongly against Andy McCabe,
00:24:29.960 and now we've got to look at potential prosecution.
00:24:32.760 Whenever we hear something from McCabe,
00:24:34.760 we need to keep in mind
00:24:35.400 he has a serious credibility problem.
00:24:37.340 The Department of Justice inspector general
00:24:39.040 found that he lacked candor,
00:24:40.720 which is the polite, bureaucratic way of saying lied,
00:24:43.040 three times in three separate interviews
00:24:45.280 about whether he was a leak
00:24:46.660 or authorized a leak on the Hillary Clinton case.
00:24:49.320 And he's made a defense during this book tour,
00:24:51.640 well, I was confused,
00:24:52.680 and I didn't understand the questions.
00:24:53.900 I find that completely unconvincing.
00:24:55.880 He lied.
00:24:56.360 He didn't just have one bad day.
00:24:58.100 Three separate times lied to the FBI.
00:25:00.540 He also said he was authorized by the FBI
00:25:02.320 to be the person who was the liaison with the press.
00:25:05.040 You don't buy that?
00:25:06.740 The DOJ, the OIG certainly did not buy it.
00:25:09.540 And look, Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn,
00:25:12.040 Michael Cohen, George Papadopoulos
00:25:13.420 were all prosecutors making false statements
00:25:15.520 to federal investigators.
00:25:17.300 I don't see why McCabe's case
00:25:18.860 is really any different than those.
00:25:20.820 Boom, absolutely right.
00:25:22.420 This is the issue.
00:25:23.220 You've got Michael Flynn thrown under the bus
00:25:28.240 looking at prison for what?
00:25:30.320 For maybe making a misleading statement
00:25:32.300 to an investigator.
00:25:33.420 You've got all of these.
00:25:34.240 Paul Manafort is basically going to jail
00:25:35.880 for enjoying nice suits in the 1990s.
00:25:39.780 And you've got all of these guys
00:25:41.180 all facing charges for lying to investigators.
00:25:45.720 Andy McCabe lied to investigators.
00:25:49.520 The inspector general points that out.
00:25:51.080 So all things being equal,
00:25:52.160 all these guys lied to investigators.
00:25:54.760 Now, what's the difference?
00:25:56.400 One of them is lying about inconsequential things.
00:25:59.740 Another one is basically just likes nice Italian suits.
00:26:03.020 Some of these guys, they're lying about things,
00:26:05.600 maybe, or misleading, or maybe misremembering things
00:26:08.400 in an investigation that really shouldn't have been
00:26:10.520 happening in the first place,
00:26:11.520 launched, by the way, by Andy McCabe.
00:26:13.360 And then in the other case,
00:26:14.620 you've got Andy McCabe,
00:26:15.640 who is attempting to launch a coup d'etat
00:26:17.740 and overturn a U.S. presidential election.
00:26:21.760 Those are not equal.
00:26:24.120 Their crimes ostensibly are equal.
00:26:26.420 But I guess there's another way
00:26:27.360 in which they're unequal.
00:26:28.520 All of the people working for Republicans
00:26:30.440 have to go to jail to pay for that crime.
00:26:33.720 And Andy McCabe gets to smile, smile
00:26:36.400 on television news, on MSNBC.
00:26:39.280 What did I do wrong?
00:26:40.080 I did nothing wrong.
00:26:40.840 Buy my book.
00:26:41.840 Give me your money.
00:26:44.800 Such a miscarriage of justice.
00:26:46.560 This is a guy who is not only a demonstrable liar,
00:26:49.040 he's lying right in front of us.
00:26:50.640 He's telling us,
00:26:51.220 don't believe our lying eyes and our lying ears.
00:26:53.720 I really hope that guy gets prosecuted.
00:26:55.820 I really hope that they follow up on that.
00:26:58.380 Because it is a sign of hope
00:27:01.680 that Andy McCabe,
00:27:04.340 this guy working for a crony,
00:27:06.600 leftist, bureaucratic coup d'etat,
00:27:09.620 has gone too far left,
00:27:11.380 even for MSNBC,
00:27:12.880 and even for CNN.
00:27:14.220 This is a sign of some sanity in the country.
00:27:17.120 And speaking of presidential coup d'etat,
00:27:19.840 speaking of the presidency,
00:27:21.240 in the Democrat presidential primary,
00:27:22.840 you now have Kamala Harris,
00:27:23.840 who's probably the leader of the pack.
00:27:26.020 She's probably the strongest candidate right now,
00:27:28.180 going too far left,
00:27:29.260 even for her own father,
00:27:30.620 who has come out and attacked her for this.
00:27:32.720 We'll get to that in a second.
00:27:33.780 Then we've got to get to good old Crazy Bernie.
00:27:35.380 We've got to get to the wall.
00:27:36.500 And if we have time,
00:27:38.040 we have to get to a new song that is out
00:27:40.100 about celebrating abortion.
00:27:43.280 The left showing their radicalism,
00:27:47.020 killing babies after birth,
00:27:48.820 a new song out about having a shower,
00:27:52.780 a baby shower for the baby that you're killing.
00:27:54.740 We'll get to all that,
00:27:55.620 but first,
00:27:56.520 we've got to say goodbye to Facebook and YouTube.
00:27:58.640 Listen, I'm going to be flying out to Indiana
00:28:00.440 in about two hours,
00:28:02.000 and then I'm going to be giving a speech
00:28:03.280 tomorrow night at Notre Dame.
00:28:05.620 Notre Dame right now
00:28:06.740 has beautiful murals of Christopher Columbus
00:28:09.540 on its walls.
00:28:10.420 And the president of that university
00:28:12.980 has decided to cover up those murals.
00:28:15.280 He probably would have taken them down,
00:28:16.780 except they're right on the wall,
00:28:17.920 so they would have had to go full Taliban
00:28:19.240 and just knock the wall down
00:28:21.000 if they wanted to get rid of them,
00:28:22.540 destroy them completely.
00:28:23.760 So now they're covering them up.
00:28:25.380 I will be going to Notre Dame tomorrow
00:28:28.280 to discuss how awful this is,
00:28:31.360 what this means for liberal education,
00:28:33.220 the total cowardice and moral idiocy
00:28:35.000 of the Notre Dame administration,
00:28:36.320 and then I will be presenting
00:28:37.920 a robust defense of Christopher Columbus
00:28:40.120 hero, not heathen,
00:28:41.480 one of the greatest men in all of history.
00:28:44.520 So we're going to be streaming that here.
00:28:45.980 If you're not in Indiana,
00:28:46.800 you don't want to brave the cold.
00:28:48.060 If you are in Indiana,
00:28:49.100 I hope you can come and check it out.
00:28:50.260 It should be a lot of fun.
00:28:51.600 We've got a number of Antifa
00:28:53.160 have already RSVP'd.
00:28:55.080 I don't know how open-minded
00:28:56.560 they're going to be about hearing my talk,
00:28:58.440 but they apparently will be there nonetheless,
00:29:00.980 and you can check it out on Daily Wire.
00:29:03.060 Also, subscribe.
00:29:03.960 Ten bucks a month,

00:29:07.700 you get to ask questions in the mailbag,
00:29:08.640 you get to ask questions backstage,
00:29:10.120 you get to ask,
00:29:10.540 by the way,
00:29:10.940 get your mailbag questions in for tomorrow.
00:29:12.900 You get another kingdom.
00:29:14.420 You get everything,
00:29:16.160 and you get this,
00:29:16.980 the Leftist Tears Tumblr.
00:29:18.660 It's going to be a little frozen tomorrow
00:29:20.140 in Notre Dame,
00:29:21.420 but it is going to fill up
00:29:22.960 while we defend the man
00:29:24.420 who discovered America,
00:29:25.460 one of the greatest men in human history,
00:29:27.440 Christopher Columbus.
00:29:28.320 Check it out at DailyWire.com.
00:29:29.380 We'll be right back with a lot more.
00:29:30.460 Kamala Harris is in trouble with daddy.
00:29:42.520 So you remember the other day on the show,
00:29:44.900 Kamala Harris was talking about smoking pot,
00:29:49.000 and she said,
00:29:49.440 well, you know,
00:29:49.860 I'm Jamaican.
00:29:50.560 I've smoked pot.
00:29:51.680 I love listening to Tupac and Snoop Dogg.
00:29:55.260 I did that in college,
00:29:56.820 seven years before Tupac and Snoop Dogg
00:29:58.980 released their debut albums.
00:30:00.560 I'm cool.
00:30:01.560 How do you do, fellow kids?
00:30:04.060 So she's talking about that,
00:30:05.120 and one of the lines she said was,
00:30:06.500 I'm Jamaican,
00:30:08.060 so of course I like pot.
00:30:09.380 Ha, ha, ha.
00:30:10.140 Her Jamaican father
00:30:11.080 didn't get a kick out of that.
00:30:12.520 Her father, Donald Harris,
00:30:13.940 is a Stanford economics professor,
00:30:16.040 and you'll recall at the time
00:30:17.200 when she came out and talked about that,
00:30:18.660 I said that I doubt
00:30:19.760 that Kamala Harris
00:30:20.920 has ever smoked pot in her life.
00:30:22.100 I seriously doubt
00:30:24.540 that she has ever even once
00:30:25.980 taken even one hit
00:30:27.640 on even one joint
00:30:29.120 because she comes from
00:30:32.520 a pretty uptight family,
00:30:33.840 a cancer researcher mother,
00:30:35.460 Stanford economics professor father,
00:30:37.340 obviously a very driven woman,
00:30:39.160 probably in college
00:30:40.160 what she was doing
00:30:40.740 was studying for law school,
00:30:41.880 and then when she was in law school,
00:30:43.120 she was preparing
00:30:43.620 to become a prosecutor,
00:30:44.780 and then a United States senator.
00:30:46.680 I don't think she was spending
00:30:47.800 a lot of time with the Choom gang.
00:30:49.200 Maybe I'm wrong.
00:30:50.160 So her father comes out
00:30:51.080 and basically says this.
00:30:52.640 Donald Harris came out
00:30:53.780 and said, quote,
00:30:55.200 I won't do it
00:30:56.280 in a Jamaican accent
00:30:57.220 because that would be
00:30:57.820 slightly too offensive
00:30:58.680 and it would be maybe funny,
00:31:00.640 but I really like the point
00:31:03.160 that he's making,
00:31:04.100 and I think he's underscoring
00:31:05.840 the utter silliness
00:31:08.840 of Kamala Harris's campaign.
00:31:10.580 He says, quote,
00:31:11.440 My dear departed grandmother,
00:31:13.620 as well as my deceased parents,
00:31:15.320 must be turning
00:31:16.060 in their grave right now
00:31:17.140 to see their family's name,
00:31:18.720 reputation,
00:31:19.160 and proud Jamaican identity
00:31:20.920 being connected
00:31:21.920 in any way,
00:31:22.860 jokingly or not,
00:31:23.860 with the fraudulent stereotype
00:31:25.260 of a pot-smoking joy seeker
00:31:27.420 and in the pursuit
00:31:28.560 of identity politics.
00:31:31.580 Speaking for myself
00:31:32.780 and my immediate Jamaican family,
00:31:34.500 we wish to categorically
00:31:36.240 dissociate ourselves
00:31:37.700 from this travesty.
00:31:40.300 Oof!
00:31:41.780 Tough words from a father
00:31:43.400 about a daughter,
00:31:45.360 but Kamala Harris
00:31:46.300 does deserve it.
00:31:48.640 Kamala Harris,
00:31:49.960 the whole campaign,
00:31:52.540 again, I've been calling this
00:31:53.500 since day one,
00:31:54.460 the only chance she has
00:31:55.700 to win the presidency
00:31:56.520 is to play identity politics,
00:31:59.100 to create a mood,
00:32:00.820 to appeal to people's
00:32:02.180 base appetites
00:32:03.560 and base bigotry.
00:32:05.720 That's the only chance she has.
00:32:07.160 She's an accomplished woman.
00:32:08.280 She's obviously pretty smart,
00:32:09.560 but she can't talk about
00:32:10.560 any of her accomplishments
00:32:11.420 because she's a prosecutor
00:32:13.940 and the Democrats
00:32:14.640 have become lawless.
00:32:15.820 They hate prosecutors.
00:32:16.940 They hate cops.
00:32:18.000 They hate law enforcement.
00:32:19.180 They hate the law.
00:32:20.340 So she can't talk about that
00:32:21.660 and she's got to pretend
00:32:22.700 that she's a big pothead
00:32:23.820 because, ha ha,
00:32:24.440 I'm Jamaican.
00:32:25.100 Ha ha,
00:32:25.540 I love Snoop Doggy Dog.
00:32:26.800 Yeah, yeah, guys.
00:32:27.720 I'm a cool kid.
00:32:29.160 That's what she has to do
00:32:29.840 and I love that her father
00:32:30.780 called her out for this
00:32:31.520 and called her out
00:32:32.240 not just for the offensiveness
00:32:33.520 to Jamaicans,
00:32:34.480 but for playing identity politics.
00:32:37.960 So I'll take that
00:32:38.940 as some validation
00:32:39.700 that even Kamala Harris' father
00:32:41.540 agrees with my assessment
00:32:42.840 of her presidential campaign.
00:32:45.420 And she's not
00:32:45.900 the craziest person in the race.
00:32:47.280 You know who the craziest person
00:32:48.380 in the race is.
00:32:49.260 We now officially have
00:32:50.620 Bernie Sanders 2020.
00:32:54.140 Bernie is here.
00:32:55.600 We played the clip yesterday,
00:32:58.080 his announcement video,
00:32:59.640 but only today
00:33:00.860 did we get President Trump's
00:33:03.160 Crazy Bernie tweet.
00:33:06.000 President Trump tweeted out,
00:33:07.300 Crazy Bernie has entered the race.
00:33:08.940 I wish him well.
00:33:10.640 He gave him that title.
00:33:11.740 Not the most clever title,
00:33:13.100 but that's okay.
00:33:14.160 It's fairly accurate.
00:33:16.120 Now, this is the counterexample.
00:33:18.920 Bernie's entering the race
00:33:19.940 is the counterexample
00:33:21.260 to my thesis
00:33:22.160 that the left
00:33:22.980 has finally gone too far.
00:33:24.640 That the left
00:33:25.060 is finally seeing pushback
00:33:26.500 from Howard Schultz,
00:33:28.160 from Kamala Harris' father,
00:33:29.720 from MSNBC and CNN analysts,
00:33:32.080 from all of these various people.
00:33:34.820 The counterexample to this
00:33:37.040 that people are raising
00:33:38.200 is that Bernie Sanders,
00:33:39.980 in just one day
00:33:41.020 of announcing
00:33:41.500 his presidential run,
00:33:43.380 raised $6 million.
00:33:46.020 That's a lot of money.
00:33:47.340 That breaks records.
00:33:48.740 I mean, that is a huge deal.
00:33:50.860 It's not actually
00:33:52.100 a counterexample, though.
00:33:53.940 I still,
00:33:54.540 I think this,
00:33:55.140 if anything,
00:33:55.580 this is evidence
00:33:56.280 that the left
00:33:57.140 has gone too far.
00:33:59.140 Let's not forget
00:34:00.160 that Ron Paul,
00:34:01.120 in 2007,
00:34:02.060 raised $4.2 million
00:34:03.620 in one day.
00:34:05.400 That was a dozen years ago.
00:34:07.500 He raised
00:34:08.320 a significant amount
00:34:10.000 of money,
00:34:10.320 also broke
00:34:10.960 fundraising records.
00:34:12.240 Do we remember
00:34:12.760 the Paul administration?
00:34:14.400 Do we remember
00:34:15.000 those eight years
00:34:16.020 of President Ron Paul?
00:34:17.220 I don't think so.
00:34:19.560 When Ron Paul
00:34:20.080 always was able
00:34:20.860 to raise a ton of money,
00:34:21.800 he was always winning
00:34:23.080 straw polls
00:34:24.000 at places like CPAC.
00:34:25.960 Bernie Sanders
00:34:26.620 is the Ron Paul
00:34:27.460 of the left.
00:34:29.040 Now,
00:34:29.520 I prefer Ron Paul
00:34:30.280 to Bernie Sanders
00:34:30.940 by a long shot
00:34:31.700 because Ron Paul
00:34:32.280 is the Bernie Sanders
00:34:33.980 of the right,
00:34:34.600 and I prefer that.
00:34:36.260 But that's what
00:34:37.520 Bernie Sanders is doing.
00:34:38.440 He's making a huge
00:34:39.440 show of force.
00:34:40.460 He's showing there is
00:34:41.600 a radical leftist base.
00:34:43.460 They're willing
00:34:44.040 to give him
00:34:44.540 a lot of money.
00:34:45.420 They're willing
00:34:45.820 to make big stunts
00:34:47.200 like one-day money bombs
00:34:49.040 or straw polls
00:34:50.080 because they're not
00:34:51.180 going to be able
00:34:51.560 to win states.
00:34:52.800 They're not going
00:34:53.420 to be able to survive.
00:34:54.940 We explained why
00:34:55.740 yesterday
00:34:56.180 in a long analysis
00:34:58.020 of his presidential run,
00:34:59.540 he can't survive
00:35:00.400 in a race
00:35:00.940 of Kamala Harris's.
00:35:02.460 He can't survive
00:35:03.140 in a race
00:35:03.720 where he doesn't have
00:35:04.560 Hillary Clinton
00:35:05.120 to kick around anymore.
00:35:06.900 So President Trump
00:35:07.680 weighs in on crazy Bernie.
00:35:08.960 That's fine.
00:35:09.820 Let's remember
00:35:10.760 this isn't just
00:35:11.380 some epithet
00:35:12.060 that President Trump
00:35:13.560 is throwing out.
00:35:14.960 Bernie Sanders
00:35:15.660 is a radical socialist.
00:35:18.120 He had his honeymoon
00:35:19.360 in the Soviet Union.
00:35:20.360 He sang communist songs
00:35:21.600 with Soviets shirtless.
00:35:23.860 He has never held
00:35:25.740 a real job
00:35:26.300 in his life.
00:35:26.960 Bernie is so radical
00:35:28.980 that he has defended
00:35:30.960 breadlines
00:35:32.240 in communist countries
00:35:33.640 and leftist countries
00:35:35.580 throughout his career.
00:35:36.760 Here is Bernie Sanders
00:35:37.880 giving away
00:35:40.000 the whole game
00:35:40.640 just like Alexandria
00:35:41.780 Ocasio-Cortez.
00:35:42.900 He's pulling away
00:35:43.800 the facade
00:35:44.320 and he's exposing
00:35:45.560 progressivism
00:35:46.360 for what it is,
00:35:47.560 the ideology
00:35:48.420 of the breadlines.
00:35:50.120 What has to be understood
00:35:51.620 is the economic problems
00:35:53.020 of Nicaragua
00:35:54.180 are not unique
00:35:54.960 in Central America
00:35:55.820 or in the Third World.
00:35:56.940 In fact,
00:35:57.500 as poor as Nicaragua is,
00:35:59.260 one of the nice things
00:36:00.240 that I saw
00:36:00.780 is that as a result
00:36:02.280 of government policy,
00:36:03.740 direct government policy
00:36:04.660 in terms of the distribution
00:36:05.740 of food,
00:36:06.640 people are not hungry
00:36:07.660 by and large.
00:36:08.460 I think it's fair to say.
00:36:09.760 You know,
00:36:10.040 it's funny,
00:36:10.480 sometimes American journalists
00:36:11.620 talk about how bad
00:36:12.420 a country is
00:36:12.940 because people are
00:36:13.540 lining up for food.
00:36:15.320 That's a good thing.
00:36:17.080 In other countries,
00:36:17.860 people don't line up
00:36:18.640 for food.
00:36:19.060 The rich get the food
00:36:19.900 and the poor starve
00:36:20.760 to death.
00:36:21.680 In Nicaragua,
00:36:22.360 people are not starving
00:36:23.360 to death.
00:36:25.060 It's a good thing
00:36:25.840 when people line up
00:36:26.620 for food.
00:36:27.300 Breadlines are a very good thing.
00:36:29.300 It means they're getting
00:36:30.260 their food.
00:36:31.020 No, it means they're not
00:36:31.840 getting their food.
00:36:32.580 That's why they have to
00:36:33.260 wait in lines for hours.
00:36:35.080 If there was plenty
00:36:35.920 of food to go around,
00:36:36.820 they wouldn't be waiting
00:36:37.500 in line.
00:36:37.960 They'd just be doling out bread.
00:36:39.540 Hey, here you go.
00:36:40.140 Hey, who wants
00:36:40.500 a chicken pot pie?
00:36:41.680 Hey, you'd be going
00:36:42.320 through the drive-thru
00:36:43.140 like happens
00:36:43.920 in capitalist countries.
00:36:46.200 That, there is no,
00:36:47.280 there is no alternative here.
00:36:49.540 That he is presenting,
00:36:50.800 the dichotomy
00:36:51.440 that he is presenting
00:36:52.220 is that when people
00:36:53.820 are waiting in breadlines
00:36:54.960 for hours at a time
00:36:56.120 to try to get just
00:36:56.820 a little bit of food
00:36:57.500 to survive,
00:36:58.260 that's a good thing.
00:36:59.120 It means people are eating.
00:37:00.800 But in capitalist countries,
00:37:02.300 there are no breadlines.
00:37:03.320 It must mean
00:37:03.920 that people are starving.
00:37:05.520 Except, oh, nope,
00:37:06.700 wait a minute,
00:37:07.360 they're just not waiting
00:37:08.300 because there's
00:37:08.960 so much food everywhere.
00:37:10.640 There's so many opportunities
00:37:12.360 to get food everywhere
00:37:13.360 that you don't have
00:37:14.080 to wait in line.
00:37:15.480 In the capitalist country,
00:37:17.760 in the United States,
00:37:18.860 when you look at
00:37:20.240 the capitalist company
00:37:21.760 developed during
00:37:23.160 the height
00:37:23.820 of American capitalism,
00:37:25.840 McDonald's,
00:37:27.340 you don't have breadlines,
00:37:28.500 you have the dollar menu,
00:37:29.800 you have some
00:37:30.460 of the most incredible
00:37:31.760 advances in all
00:37:33.640 of human history,
00:37:35.600 the McDouble.
00:37:36.820 You have so much nutrition
00:37:38.700 packed into such a delicious,
00:37:41.340 small little sandwich
00:37:42.720 that you pay $1 for.
00:37:45.420 And you don't need
00:37:46.800 to wait in the breadline.
00:37:48.020 You don't need to wait
00:37:48.520 in the McDouble line
00:37:49.260 for three hours
00:37:50.040 to try to get it
00:37:50.840 from the government.
00:37:51.520 No.
00:37:52.100 You can get it for nothing.
00:37:54.160 People have dollars
00:37:55.080 coming out of their pockets
00:37:56.100 in America.
00:37:56.680 People are lousy with dollars.
00:37:58.240 Even homeless people
00:37:59.040 in America
00:37:59.480 are lousy with dollars.
00:38:01.720 One of the troubling things,
00:38:03.620 one of the actual
00:38:04.280 kind of downsides
00:38:05.260 of going into
00:38:06.400 a fast food restaurant
00:38:07.520 is you've got,
00:38:09.440 often in the parking lot
00:38:10.840 or just outside,
00:38:11.640 you've got people
00:38:12.040 asking you for money
00:38:12.860 and you give them money
00:38:13.700 because that's where
00:38:15.180 they eat.
00:38:15.660 That's where they get their,
00:38:16.400 because they can get a McDouble
00:38:17.220 for $1 in a capitalist country.
00:38:19.140 This is a beautiful thing.
00:38:20.660 Bernie Sanders, though,
00:38:21.600 gets reality exactly backwards.
00:38:24.500 And of course,
00:38:24.900 he's not the only one.
00:38:26.400 Back to AOC.
00:38:27.720 We haven't talked about
00:38:28.660 the emergency wall funding measure,
00:38:31.820 the national emergency
00:38:32.800 and the spending bill.
00:38:34.140 We'll cover that very briefly
00:38:35.360 because AOC doesn't just
00:38:37.120 get taxes backwards.
00:38:38.220 She gets the wall
00:38:39.500 exactly backwards as well,
00:38:41.120 exactly as backwards
00:38:42.740 as Bernie Sanders
00:38:44.060 gets socialism and capitalism.
00:38:47.140 No matter how you feel
00:38:48.220 about the wall,
00:38:50.560 you know,
00:38:51.360 I think it's a moral abomination.
00:38:53.440 I think it's like
00:38:54.520 the Berlin Wall.
00:38:56.560 He thinks it's like
00:38:57.180 the Berlin Wall.
00:38:59.140 It's not like the Berlin Wall.
00:39:00.900 The Berlin Wall
00:39:01.840 kept people imprisoned
00:39:03.620 in a country.
00:39:05.280 The southern border wall
00:39:06.540 is keeping people
00:39:07.660 from invading
00:39:08.760 our country illegally.
00:39:09.980 It is not just
00:39:12.980 not like the Berlin Wall.
00:39:14.940 It is the exact opposite
00:39:16.920 of the Berlin Wall.
00:39:18.780 And just the way
00:39:19.440 that she says it,
00:39:20.700 you know that she has no idea
00:39:22.320 what she's talking about
00:39:23.180 because she's saying it
00:39:24.480 in that like,
00:39:25.700 really sort of
00:39:27.440 sardonic way.
00:39:29.420 And she's not speaking
00:39:30.800 in any rational way
00:39:31.880 because she doesn't know.
00:39:32.820 She doesn't know anything
00:39:33.340 about history.
00:39:34.220 She doesn't know anything
00:39:34.840 about economics.
00:39:35.940 She doesn't know anything
00:39:36.520 about politics
00:39:37.300 other than getting herself elected.
00:39:38.860 She does know a thing
00:39:40.200 or two about that.
00:39:40.980 But exactly backwards.
00:39:42.360 For weeks now,
00:39:43.340 we've talked about
00:39:44.020 how the left
00:39:44.700 doesn't just get the world
00:39:46.400 a little bit wrong.
00:39:48.480 The left's view of the world
00:39:49.540 is not just perverted.
00:39:51.080 It is inverted.
00:39:52.420 It is exactly backwards.
00:39:54.920 Progressivism,
00:39:55.520 leftism,
00:39:56.240 socialism
00:39:56.620 are ideologies
00:39:57.900 in which
00:39:58.600 bread lines
00:39:59.840 are a good thing
00:40:00.860 and abundant
00:40:03.080 cheap food
00:40:03.960 for everybody
00:40:04.580 is a bad thing
00:40:05.440 in which
00:40:07.120 keeping people out
00:40:08.880 and keeping your people safe
00:40:11.080 is exactly the same
00:40:12.200 as keeping people imprisoned,
00:40:15.400 keeping people locked in.
00:40:16.720 Of course,
00:40:17.280 this is backwards.
00:40:17.920 And it's not just AOC
00:40:18.940 and it's not just
00:40:19.980 crazy Bernie.
00:40:20.880 It's even the allegedly
00:40:22.000 respectable
00:40:22.800 left-wing Democrat candidates
00:40:24.500 like Kirsten Gillibrand.
00:40:25.600 On immigration,
00:40:28.740 I mean,
00:40:29.180 there's a crisis
00:40:30.260 going on at the border
00:40:31.320 right now.
00:40:31.900 There is.
00:40:32.780 If you may,
00:40:33.940 we need to have
00:40:35.400 proper asylum.
00:40:36.680 This president
00:40:37.460 doesn't believe
00:40:37.980 the asylum
00:40:38.520 is afraid of immigrants
00:40:39.560 is afraid of refugees.
00:40:41.180 We need to be
00:40:41.940 accepting more refugees
00:40:43.100 and we need to have
00:40:43.920 a holistic,
00:40:45.500 humane process
00:40:46.360 to take all these
00:40:47.520 asylum claims,
00:40:48.680 process them appropriately,
00:40:50.280 have real immigration judges
00:40:51.520 to assess them
00:40:52.860 and then really
00:40:53.560 provide the welcoming,
00:40:54.780 open arms
00:40:55.780 that this country
00:40:56.280 has always been known for.
00:40:57.340 And I just want to note
00:40:58.380 that a lot of these people
00:40:59.460 are indigenous
00:41:00.700 to this land
00:41:01.800 and that border
00:41:02.760 is cutting them off.
00:41:03.980 I know.
00:41:04.260 That's why the wall
00:41:05.020 is so absurd
00:41:05.880 and hard to make.
00:41:08.120 So you heard
00:41:08.880 all the boilerplate.
00:41:09.680 It was a little difficult
00:41:10.340 to hear
00:41:10.720 because that was just
00:41:11.320 filmed in a restaurant.
00:41:13.040 But you hear
00:41:14.140 at the beginning
00:41:14.800 she says,
00:41:15.400 yeah,
00:41:15.780 open borders,
00:41:16.820 bring everybody in.
00:41:17.740 Yeah, yeah,
00:41:18.080 we need to take everybody.
00:41:19.140 Okay, that's just
00:41:19.700 boilerplate Democrat stuff.
00:41:21.360 But then,
00:41:22.440 listen to the absurdity
00:41:23.820 of this.
00:41:25.020 You hear
00:41:25.940 the interviewer say,
00:41:27.960 you know,
00:41:28.220 a lot of the people
00:41:29.040 who are foreign nationals
00:41:30.200 trying to invade our country
00:41:31.680 are indigenous
00:41:32.700 to our country.
00:41:34.420 And Kirsten Gillibrand
00:41:35.220 says,
00:41:35.560 yes, they are.
00:41:36.600 The people
00:41:37.260 who are not here,
00:41:38.900 who were not born here,
00:41:40.120 who do not live here,
00:41:41.000 who are not from here,
00:41:42.080 they are indigenous
00:41:43.100 to here,
00:41:43.840 which is why
00:41:44.540 we need to let them
00:41:45.380 come here
00:41:45.900 because they're not here
00:41:47.180 even though they're here
00:41:47.860 and they're from here.
00:41:48.880 But they're not.
00:41:49.600 That is the same
00:41:51.960 babbling idiocy
00:41:52.760 that we hear
00:41:53.260 from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
00:41:55.000 and Bernie Sanders.
00:41:56.520 Now,
00:41:57.660 Kirsten Gillibrand
00:41:58.480 might cut a nicer jib.
00:42:00.000 She might be a little
00:42:00.560 more put together.
00:42:01.460 She might talk
00:42:01.980 in a more sophisticated way.
00:42:03.340 But it is the same
00:42:04.220 incoherence.
00:42:04.940 It is the same exact
00:42:05.820 inversion.
00:42:07.960 Foreign cannot be
00:42:08.880 indigenous.
00:42:10.400 Foreign cannot be
00:42:11.260 native.
00:42:12.100 Those words are
00:42:12.740 antonyms.
00:42:13.380 They're not synonyms.
00:42:15.160 And yet,
00:42:15.720 the left
00:42:16.280 sees no difference.
00:42:18.480 It's exactly backwards.
00:42:20.460 And I'll just leave you
00:42:21.140 on this.
00:42:21.420 There is this
00:42:21.840 crazy song
00:42:23.800 that is making
00:42:24.460 the rounds right now.
00:42:26.040 And I don't,
00:42:27.100 I'm not saying
00:42:27.540 it's a billboard
00:42:28.120 number one song,
00:42:29.180 but it is a song
00:42:30.080 that sums up
00:42:31.180 the left's
00:42:32.080 present view
00:42:32.880 on abortion
00:42:33.420 where you have
00:42:33.940 left-wing governors
00:42:35.320 like Governor Cuomo
00:42:36.200 in New York
00:42:36.780 legalizing killing babies
00:42:38.500 as they're being born
00:42:39.360 and taking away
00:42:40.360 criminal protections
00:42:41.200 for babies
00:42:41.780 who are being murdered
00:42:42.500 as they're being born.
00:42:43.640 And then you have
00:42:44.160 governors like
00:42:44.700 Ralph Northam
00:42:45.280 in Virginia
00:42:45.780 who are saying
00:42:46.840 that not only
00:42:47.440 can you kill a baby
00:42:48.280 while it's being born,
00:42:49.480 you should be able
00:42:50.060 to give birth
00:42:50.620 to the baby,
00:42:51.540 let it sit on the table
00:42:52.380 for an hour,
00:42:52.920 and then chop its head off.
00:42:54.460 And that's wonderful.
00:42:55.560 That's women's health.
00:42:56.340 That's compassionate.
00:42:57.440 That's comforting.
00:42:59.680 And there's this song now
00:43:00.900 which is by
00:43:02.220 some alleged artist
00:43:03.320 named Amanda Palmer
00:43:04.280 singing about how
00:43:05.720 we ought to have
00:43:06.460 baby showers
00:43:07.160 for abortions.
00:43:08.440 Baby showers
00:43:09.100 for the babies
00:43:09.840 that we're about to kill.
00:43:11.220 It's Amanda
00:43:12.000 just waving from London.
00:43:13.280 And I know
00:43:13.740 that you're going
00:43:14.480 tomorrow,
00:43:15.180 the hardest decision.
00:43:19.700 And I've been
00:43:20.560 on the side
00:43:21.180 of the phone
00:43:21.740 for a month
00:43:22.400 and I know
00:43:22.980 you're in hell
00:43:23.660 and you know
00:43:24.160 that I know
00:43:24.740 what you're feeling.
00:43:25.680 life's such a b***h,
00:43:31.980 isn't it?
00:43:35.580 When you have a baby,
00:43:38.340 they throw you a party
00:43:40.820 and then when you die,
00:43:44.640 they get together
00:43:46.180 for a cry.
00:43:49.100 But...
00:43:51.100 No one's gonna celebrate you.
00:44:00.100 No one's gonna bring you cake
00:44:03.400 and no one's gonna
00:44:05.420 shower you with flowers.
00:44:09.000 The doctor won't congratulate you.
00:44:15.000 No one on that pavement's gonna
00:44:18.160 shout at you
00:44:19.800 that your heart also matters.
00:44:23.500 It's a jarring song.
00:44:30.020 Obviously,
00:44:30.680 you hear the lyrics.
00:44:32.240 The song
00:44:32.740 is making
00:44:33.520 a pro-life argument.
00:44:35.040 She doesn't think
00:44:35.600 it's making
00:44:36.000 a pro-life argument.
00:44:36.960 She thinks
00:44:37.660 that she's
00:44:39.040 suggesting
00:44:40.120 baby showers
00:44:40.840 for people
00:44:41.540 who kill their babies.
00:44:43.140 She's
00:44:43.480 singing about
00:44:45.020 how it's so wrong
00:44:45.840 that we don't have
00:44:46.940 baby showers
00:44:47.480 for people
00:44:47.880 who kill their babies.
00:44:48.960 But this is a
00:44:49.840 cry for help
00:44:51.180 in a perverted culture.
00:44:52.120 She's saying
00:44:53.380 I know
00:44:54.900 I'm on the phone
00:44:55.580 with you
00:44:55.840 and I know
00:44:56.220 that you're in hell
00:44:56.940 and you've been in hell
00:44:57.560 for a month.
00:44:58.200 Right.
00:44:58.940 No one's gonna celebrate you.
00:45:00.380 No one's gonna bring you cake.
00:45:02.020 No one's gonna shower you
00:45:02.960 with flowers.
00:45:03.540 The doctor won't congratulate you.
00:45:05.200 No one on that pavement
00:45:06.020 is gonna shout at you
00:45:06.860 that your heart
00:45:07.640 also matters.
00:45:08.600 Right.
00:45:09.400 Maybe there's a reason
00:45:10.620 for that.
00:45:12.440 Maybe there's a reason
00:45:13.620 why none of those things
00:45:14.540 will happen.
00:45:15.720 Maybe there's a reason
00:45:16.560 why no one's gonna
00:45:17.480 say
00:45:18.500 oh it's so wonderful.
00:45:19.900 All that matters
00:45:20.660 is you
00:45:21.100 not the baby
00:45:21.700 you just killed.
00:45:22.740 No one's gonna congratulate you
00:45:24.020 on killing your baby.
00:45:24.860 No one's going to
00:45:25.620 throw you a shower.
00:45:27.040 No one's gonna bring you cake
00:45:28.020 or celebrate you.
00:45:28.880 Right.
00:45:29.560 Why aren't they going to do that?
00:45:31.240 Because you killed your baby.
00:45:32.960 Why have you been in hell
00:45:34.120 for a month?
00:45:34.880 Because you're thinking
00:45:35.760 about killing your baby.
00:45:37.480 And there's a part of you
00:45:38.480 that hasn't been
00:45:39.260 totally perverted
00:45:40.140 by
00:45:40.980 wrong appetites
00:45:43.820 and
00:45:44.440 even worse
00:45:45.600 ideology
00:45:46.300 and philosophy.
00:45:47.500 There's a part of you
00:45:48.440 that is
00:45:49.140 your conscience
00:45:50.260 which is telling you
00:45:51.240 that it is wrong
00:45:51.860 to kill your baby.
00:45:52.800 That's why you've been
00:45:53.320 in hell for a month.
00:45:55.060 Maybe there's a reason
00:45:55.960 for all of that.
00:45:56.620 It actually
00:45:56.960 the song
00:45:57.620 unintentionally explains
00:45:58.780 those reasons.
00:45:59.800 And then
00:46:00.040 the whole thesis
00:46:00.760 of the song
00:46:01.400 could be summed up
00:46:02.540 in that line.
00:46:04.120 Life's such a
00:46:05.300 word for a
00:46:07.320 lady dog
00:46:08.520 isn't it?
00:46:10.700 Life's such a
00:46:11.640 isn't it?
00:46:13.280 That's the thesis
00:46:14.140 of the song.
00:46:15.740 And life is only
00:46:16.600 that way
00:46:17.240 if you're doing
00:46:19.760 it exactly
00:46:20.260 the wrong way.
00:46:22.020 There's suffering
00:46:22.840 in life.
00:46:23.560 There's hardship.
00:46:24.740 This is part
00:46:25.740 of human nature.
00:46:26.460 This is part
00:46:26.840 of a fallen world.
00:46:28.240 But life
00:46:28.880 is always
00:46:29.860 constantly
00:46:31.320 devoid of joy
00:46:32.200 if you're doing
00:46:33.680 it backwards.
00:46:34.940 If you're doing
00:46:35.380 it the wrong way.
00:46:36.600 If you have
00:46:37.140 no sense
00:46:37.820 of joy
00:46:38.240 in your life
00:46:38.860 if you're
00:46:39.940 in hell
00:46:40.640 constant hell
00:46:41.520 it's because
00:46:43.380 something
00:46:43.980 has gone
00:46:44.440 exactly backwards.
00:46:45.540 Something
00:46:46.020 has been
00:46:46.860 inverted.
00:46:48.100 And
00:46:48.360 we're seeing
00:46:49.880 it at all
00:46:50.320 of those levels.
00:46:51.340 Political
00:46:51.640 ideology
00:46:52.140 culture
00:46:52.700 and of course
00:46:53.960 fundamentally
00:46:54.500 when we're
00:46:54.900 talking about
00:46:55.560 things that
00:46:56.140 matter
00:46:56.380 divine things
00:46:57.120 metaphysical
00:46:57.680 things
00:46:58.140 religious
00:46:59.300 questions.
00:47:00.360 That's our
00:47:00.840 show.
00:47:01.540 Tune in

00:47:03.620 get your
00:47:04.040 mailbag
00:47:04.280 questions in
00:47:04.820 because then
00:47:05.300 afterward
00:47:05.680 we'll be
00:47:06.300 going to
00:47:06.860 Notre Dame
00:47:07.480 and I
00:47:08.320 might get
00:47:08.920 my head
00:47:09.400 chopped off
00:47:09.760 by Antifa.
00:47:10.620 We'll just
00:47:10.860 have to see.

00:47:47.500 Two lawsuits
00:47:48.040 are headed
00:47:48.360 to the courts
00:47:49.040 that might be
00:47:49.520 better settled
00:47:50.100 by reasonable
00:47:50.800 adults having
00:47:51.620 a logical
00:47:52.340 conversation,
00:47:53.100 but that's
00:47:53.500 not going
00:47:53.780 to happen.
00:47:54.380 We'll look
00:47:54.780 at the
