The Michael Knowles Show

Ep. 661 - What We Can’t Say

Summary

YouTube has now banned all videos that suggest there was anything irregular about the 2020 election on its platform. This means you can no longer mention the Georgia election officials who purged over 500,000 votes, or the 17 states that are joining a lawsuit against Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin over election irregularities.

Transcript

00:00:00.000 YouTube has announced that it will now censor any videos on its platform that suggest there
00:00:05.980 was anything irregular about the 2020 election. This show is broadcast on YouTube, so I fully
00:00:12.640 intend to abide by YouTube's order, which means, and I just want to let you know this right off
00:00:18.120 the top so we can put it behind us, that I can no longer mention on YouTube that Georgia election
00:00:23.340 officials shut down vote counting at 10.30 p.m. on election night in certain key areas and then
00:00:29.340 sent all the poll watchers home and then illegally continued counting votes almost until one in the
00:00:33.840 morning. I won't be able to say that anymore. It means I can no longer mention that the Pennsylvania
00:00:38.000 election officials violated their state's constitution through the use of widespread mail-in
00:00:43.180 votes, which are explicitly unconstitutional in Pennsylvania. You won't be hearing any more of
00:00:47.260 that, and it means, very, very important, I can no longer mention the 17 states that are joining
00:00:54.860 Texas's lawsuit against Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin over those states' election
00:01:02.480 irregularities. So I guess we're just going to have to talk about something else. I'm Michael
00:01:06.320 Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:16.260 Can't talk about it. What am I supposed to do? My favorite comment yesterday from Henry Knox
00:01:20.300 says, Biden on the aliens. I mean, you got the first mainstream Martian American who is articulate
00:01:27.240 and bright and clean and nice looking alien. I mean, that's a storybook, Gray. That is
00:01:33.880 a very incisive comment about Biden. People forget this, that Biden, who's now considered this liberal,
00:01:42.380 wonderful, progressive figure, he actually said that about Obama. He said, you had the first nice
00:01:49.740 looking, clean, articulate African American in Barack Obama, and that's a storybook.
00:01:55.700 But he's their standard bearer now. How woke is Joe Biden? This YouTube order is no joke.
00:02:02.980 We said yesterday that the election lawsuits have not worked out particularly well for President
00:02:08.900 Trump. There is one big one left, though. There is a huge one left, and this has to go to the Supreme
00:02:14.340 Court in the sense that it's a state suing other states. So before there's even the chance that this
00:02:20.240 case could be heard, YouTube is saying, if you question anything about the 2020 presidential
00:02:25.580 election, you'll be kicked off of YouTube. I don't know if this video is going to be on YouTube right
00:02:30.240 now. I'm just reading the news, but the news is contradicting YouTube's preferred political
00:02:35.700 narrative. So I don't know. Maybe they're going to kick me off. Here's the order from YouTube.
00:02:39.640 Quote, yesterday was the safe harbor deadline for the United States presidential election,
00:02:44.740 and enough states have certified their election results to determine a president-elect. Given that,
00:02:50.640 we will start removing any piece of content uploaded today or any time afterward that misleads people
00:02:56.340 by alleging that widespread fraud or errors changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election
00:03:03.080 in line with our approach toward historical U.S. presidential elections.
00:03:10.080 Okay, fair enough. I mean, not really fair enough. It's a stupid rule. But if they really held every
00:03:17.080 political candidate to this standard, at least it would be coherent. Then I was remembering a couple
00:03:26.460 years ago, there was a race in Georgia for governor between Brian Kemp and Stacey Abrams. And Stacey
00:03:33.000 Abrams lost that race. And then she and many other people claimed that she had won that race.
00:03:38.180 And they continued to claim that after the election was certified and after Brian Kemp was sworn in.
00:03:44.380 In fact, that election was in 2018. In July of last year, a video was uploaded to YouTube featuring
00:03:51.500 Cenk Uygur from the Young Turks and some other liberal guy describing how Brian Kemp stole that election.
00:04:00.140 So now, you got, unfortunately, a potential new stolen election, and that's Georgia.
00:04:07.780 Georgia, absolutely. So what happened is, in the case of Georgia, Brian Kemp, with the help,
00:04:15.720 by the way, of his buddy Chris Kobach of Kansas, purged over half a million voters.
00:04:21.820 The race was about a one and a half point difference. But it was actually much narrower than that when you
00:04:26.640 looked at what would have required a runoff. Yeah, it was a few thousand votes. Just a few
00:04:30.060 thousand votes. And they would have needed a runoff. Yeah. It was, look, it was a pure steal.
00:04:36.180 It was a pure steal. As of the time of this airing, that video is still on YouTube. There's
00:04:41.600 a chance our video is not on YouTube, but that video is on YouTube. Seems like a double standard.
00:04:46.280 Now, you might say, Michael, you didn't read carefully enough because it says that they're going to
00:04:51.880 take down videos that question the outcome of the presidential election, not the Georgia
00:04:56.260 gubernatorial election. And this is in line with their approach historically toward US presidential
00:05:00.760 elections. Okay. Okay, fine. So you can question the results of other elections, just not the
00:05:05.500 presidential. Except, except they also question the presidential election. I just Googled very quickly
00:05:13.240 for a video that was uploaded fairly recently. Trump stole 2016. Will he steal the 2020 election?
00:05:19.200 This video is up on YouTube today as well. George W. Bush lost the, lost the popular vote
00:05:25.020 by a half million votes. And his brothers and the Supreme Court stole the election for him in Florida.
00:05:30.260 And Donald Trump lost the popular vote by 3 million votes. And, you know, and frankly,
00:05:35.380 I think there was some nefarious stuff going on in Ohio, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania that,
00:05:40.020 that handed the vote to, to Donald Trump. Nefarious stuff going on in Ohio,
00:05:46.900 Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania in 2016 that handed the vote to Donald Trump, meaning nefarious, right?
00:05:51.980 It was wicked stuff, criminal sort of stuff, illegitimate vote. So this guy, some liberal
00:05:58.740 guy I haven't heard of is questioning the results of the 2020 election and the 2000 election in the same
00:06:06.100 video, but, but explicitly the 2020 election long after that election was certified. So obviously this
00:06:12.460 YouTube order is complete BS. It's not a real standard. There is no historical U.S. presidential
00:06:19.020 election approach and rule from YouTube. They're just instituting this against conservatives and to
00:06:25.580 defend liberals. So when liberals say that elections were stolen, it's totally fine. And when conservatives
00:06:31.120 raise any questions about ongoing litigation that can and very likely will go to the Supreme Court,
00:06:37.180 it's the only court that could hear the case. You're not allowed to say that. They'll take your
00:06:40.460 video down. We are going to get so, so much more of this if Joe Biden becomes the president.
00:06:49.900 This is going to ramp up. You thought big tech censorship was bad under Trump. Just wait until you see
00:06:57.100 what happens if Biden becomes the president. People are really on edge here. You know, just forget even
00:07:04.940 who's going to win or who's winning these various elections. Just all this uncertainty has people
00:07:09.980 on edge. You know, gun sales have been spiking. If you are making a firearms purchase because you're

00:08:22.660 Code knolls, K-N-W-L-E-S, before they take away your second amendment rights. They're already coming
00:08:27.460 after your first amendment rights. Coming after a whole lot of rights. A lot of constitutional
00:08:32.300 questions regarding the 2020 election. If this video turns off on YouTube halfway through, I don't
00:08:40.100 know. I guess I couldn't help it, but I have to read the news. This is happening right now. 17 states
00:08:46.440 are joining with Texas to sue Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania over their election
00:08:54.820 irregularities. What states are they? Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana,
00:09:01.300 Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota,
00:09:07.660 sweet old Tennessee, my new home state, Utah, and West Virginia. And President Trump, by the way,
00:09:15.020 is signing on here as a candidate who believes his rights were infringed by election irregularities.
00:09:22.040 And we say irregularities, we're talking about a whole wide range of activities, many of which
00:09:28.400 were caught on camera. So the big tech oligarchs can't deny that they have, they can deny that they
00:09:33.400 happened, but it's preposterous. They're asking us to believe them over our own lying eyes. And in the
00:09:38.400 case of Pennsylvania, we're talking about a flagrant violation of the state constitution by permitting
00:09:43.520 the use of widespread mail-in ballots. Ken Paxton, who's the attorney general in Texas, was explaining
00:09:50.880 the premise behind this lawsuit. It's really important to my state that my voters be represented.
00:09:58.020 And if other states don't follow the constitution, and if their state legislature isn't responsible for
00:10:05.160 overseeing their elections, and we have other people who are not under the constitution,
00:10:09.880 under the constitution supposed to be doing this, it affects my state. And so our job is to make sure
00:10:16.760 that the constitutions follow and that every vote counts. And in this case, I'm not sure that every
00:10:22.260 vote was counted, not in the right way. It is the responsibility of state legislatures per the
00:10:26.820 constitution to set the rules for election of electors. And in this case, those were overridden in
00:10:34.180 the four states we're talking about were overridden by other officials, whether they were judges or
00:10:38.680 other governmental officials. And that's not the way our constitution works. And that's the challenge
00:10:44.260 we have in front of the court. Can this be overridden by people who are not responsible under the
00:10:49.360 constitution for doing this? I totally agree with everything that Ken Paxton just said. He's a very
00:10:54.700 strong attorney general, by the way, and presumably has a good political career ahead of him. Totally agree
00:11:00.740 with that. I also agree with a point that was made by Arthur Bloom today. Arthur Bloom is a conservative
00:11:05.740 writer and editor who pointed out that Democrats, you know, even in their name, take ownership of this
00:11:13.400 word democracy. And they say that any attempts to, to change the outcome of the certification is
00:11:19.120 undermining democracy. And if you go to the state legislatures to override the unconstitutional
00:11:25.040 decisions of say judges or of election officials, that that's somehow undermining democracy because
00:11:31.840 democracy is only what Democrats say it is. Give me a break. Give me a break. I'm not saying that this
00:11:39.160 is an ideal way to conduct an election. I'm not saying that this wasn't a complete debacle. I think
00:11:43.560 this election was a debacle because of corrupt election officials and because of misguided state
00:11:49.680 legislatures and because of partisan state Supreme courts. However, going to the state legislatures
00:11:56.440 and allowing constitutional process to play out and having them use their legal authority to
00:12:01.820 process and execute a presidential election is not undemocratic compared to having some electors
00:12:13.140 pass some new, or having some election officials rather, pass some new regulations during a presidential
00:12:18.940 election to change the way that people vote and then having that vote be certified. The word
00:12:22.640 democratic is much broader than, than we're describing here. And frankly, it's, it's even sort
00:12:28.220 of secondary to the question of the legal process established by the constitution. All of that said,
00:12:34.220 I do not want to get people's hopes up here. I said yesterday that the fat lady has not sung yet,
00:12:41.700 but you can hear her warming up. You can hear her in the far distance, clearing her throat,
00:12:47.340 going up and down her scales. This lawsuit from Texas is the last stand.
00:12:56.080 It just is a matter of time. There isn't time left. The electors are going to vote in a matter of days.
00:13:03.180 So this is it. Even if there were some magnificent other lawsuit that were being prepared that had
00:13:11.500 heaping helpings of Kraken in it, there isn't time for it anymore. And nobody's going to care how explosive
00:13:17.600 it is. I keep going back to the example of Lyndon Johnson, who stole a 1948 Senate election. And we know it
00:13:25.880 with certainty as of say 1990. But okay, I guess that's a moral victory for conservatives.
00:13:33.460 Meanwhile, Johnson had already left the Senate, left the vice presidency, left the presidency and
00:13:39.520 died. Okay, we got him. We got him. No, he already had his effect. I don't have any confidence in the
00:13:49.200 Supreme Court that they will rule properly on this case. And I don't have any confidence in the Supreme
00:13:54.620 Court that they'll even take it up. I think the other day when they shot down the Pennsylvania
00:14:01.600 appeal, which Senator Cruz was going to argue before the court, some people are saying, well,
00:14:08.060 they shut that down because it would have been redundant. They were waiting for the Texas lawsuit.
00:14:11.300 I don't think so. I don't think so. I think regardless of what, maybe they hear the case,
00:14:16.380 probably they don't. But even if they do, I just don't think they're going to weigh in on behalf of
00:14:22.700 Trump and on behalf of people who feel that this election was held in an irregular way, which is,
00:14:29.520 which is incontrovertible, no matter what, no matter what YouTube wants to say about it.
00:14:36.140 So this is the stand. I'm really pleased that Texas is doing this. I'm very pleased
00:14:39.560 that my new state of Tennessee is doing this. You know, all my exes live in Texas, which is why I hang
00:14:44.840 my hat in Tennessee. But both states doing great work, as are those other states that are signing on
00:14:49.320 and the Trump campaign. I'm glad they're doing it. I hope we can fight extraordinarily hard.
00:14:54.740 And if it doesn't work out, we're all going to make sure that we have a lot to drink,
00:14:58.560 which is why I've got to tell you about First Leaf. There is nothing like that Friday feeling,

00:16:32.260 If the courts do not go the right way, if Joe Biden becomes president, is named president-elect,
00:16:43.260 there is still a lot that we can do in the meantime. You saw a little bit of this happening
00:16:47.080 yesterday. There are things we can do with the DOJ. There are things we can do with the executive
00:16:50.460 agencies. There are things that we can do as a matter of executive orders. So this came out of
00:16:56.240 the U.S. Attorney's Office just yesterday. Federal law enforcement officials are investigating Hunter
00:17:03.580 Biden for all sorts of tax-related matters, shady business deals, that sort of thing. There had been
00:17:11.180 an investigation already into Hunter Biden that was going on because Hunter Biden obviously has been
00:17:17.460 peddling his father's influence for years and years now, enriching himself to the tune of millions
00:17:22.820 and millions of dollars. Joe Biden knew about this. We have the Hunter Biden laptop. Joe Biden
00:17:29.460 was aware of this. Hunter Biden admitted it himself that he talked to his dad about these business
00:17:33.180 deals. And so Joe denies it, but we have his son contradicting him about it. He made a lot of money
00:17:40.240 on this. There was an investigation. There actually was an investigation even before Bill Barr took over
00:17:44.120 at the DOJ. They paused this for the presidential election because they didn't want it to be seen as
00:17:49.480 any sort of impropriety interfering in the election. Now that has picked up again. This is very important.
00:17:56.880 Not because they're going to nab Hunter Biden. I don't think they will. I don't think Joe Biden,
00:18:03.060 if he becomes president, will allow them to nab Hunter Biden, even though it's so, the corruption is so
00:18:08.900 preposterous. Unless Hunter Biden is some expert in Chinese financial affairs and an expert in Ukrainian
00:18:15.660 energy companies, obviously this was pure corruption. You had that, that CCP expert yesterday
00:18:21.800 admitting that they bought off the Biden family in China. However, the reason it's important is because
00:18:27.900 if Joe Biden becomes president, then he's going to have to be the one to shut down this investigation.
00:18:32.200 And that's not going to look great. He's going to have to go in there and expose his own corruption
00:18:39.600 or allow the investigation to proceed, which very likely would implicate him as well. That's one
00:18:46.940 thing we can do. I think we need to keep that up. We need to ramp that up, ramp up as many
00:18:53.160 investigations that are as hard to shut down as possible. Definitely do that. Another thing we need
00:18:57.480 to do, if Joe Biden is going to become president, which he may, the Supreme Court has suggested that
00:19:03.780 he very likely will, get Eric Swalwell kicked off of the House Intelligence Committee and possibly get
00:19:10.540 him kicked out of Congress. We talked yesterday about Swalwell's honey trap, the idea that Swalwell was
00:19:18.220 close with this Chinese spy. She seems to have raised a lot of money for him, may have raised many things
00:19:25.820 while she was in the country. We don't know. Okay. We, we know, it seems as though the FBI believes
00:19:30.980 that this Chinese spy slept with multiple U.S. officials. Was it Eric Swalwell? We don't know.
00:19:38.740 If she did sleep with Eric Swalwell, because Eric Swalwell is us, according to his 2020 presidential
00:19:43.780 campaign, that means that we all slept with Eric Swalwell, which means we all cheated on our wives,
00:19:47.340 except that means our wives slept with her too, which means we're all in the same boat.
00:19:51.080 More details are coming out about this. It's going to be very embarrassing for Mr. Swalwell.
00:19:57.460 It's especially embarrassing because there'd be rank hypocrisy here. During the 2016 campaign and
00:20:03.820 the aftermath of that, Eric Swalwell, in many ways, led the charge, accusing Don Jr. of one time
00:20:12.880 meeting with someone who might have been associated with the Russian government.
00:20:17.340 I think we've all gotten a PhD in Russian studies that none of us signed up for,
00:20:22.620 but stated plainly, the president's son met with a Russian spy. We now have the best evidence
00:20:30.720 of that. In our minority report, the Democrats put out that Ms. Veselnitskaya was going all over
00:20:36.080 the world and bumping into Dana Rohrabacher, which is a sign of a spy, someone who tries to create,
00:20:41.840 you know, a coincidence encounter. And now we know that she was working at the behest
00:20:46.820 of the Russian government. The president's son, Nicole, met with a Russian spy.
00:20:51.200 So the president's son may have met with someone connected to the Russian government.
00:20:56.180 But Eric Swalwell, it would appear, did a whole lot more than bump into Chinese spies. Well,
00:21:02.100 it depends on how we look at that verb. Eric Swalwell appears to have had a much more intimate
00:21:07.340 relationship with a Chinese spy, China, a much more threatening adversary to the United States
00:21:12.760 than Russia. This man cannot be permitted to stay on the House Intel Committee. I don't know,
00:21:20.280 they're not going to get him kicked out of Congress, but it is absolutely insane that this man is
00:21:25.960 allowed to remain on the House Intel Committee. He absolutely has to be stripped of that.
00:21:29.740 Republicans should keep beating that drum. Why? Who cares about Eric Swalwell? Because it's the
00:21:35.280 right thing to do. It exposes the impropriety. This story about the Chinese spy and Eric Swalwell
00:21:41.000 is absolutely going to be covered up by the mainstream media. No one's going to talk about
00:21:44.820 it other than us. We need to turn up as much pressure as we possibly can to get that dude
00:21:49.700 kicked off of the Intel Committee. One, because he's a national security risk and a blackmail risk.
00:21:55.220 But two, because we need to expose the story as a, as a political matter, as well,
00:22:02.340 it's a national security matter. It's also a matter of simple politics. If the media aren't
00:22:06.800 going to expose the story, we need to keep it up. We're the only ones who can do that.
00:22:11.480 You know, we are, it feels as though we're on a razor's edge in this country of, of turning into
00:22:18.200 a very bad direction with regard to China, with regard to domestic politics. We're right on that
00:22:25.600 razor's edge. It's a very, very sharp edge, but it's not as sharp as Harry's razors.
00:22:29.860 Harry's just came out with their sharpest blades ever. And unlike some other razor companies,
00:22:34.420 they're not charging you more for their product improvements. I shaved with a Harry's razor today,
00:22:39.420 and it's the greatest Harry's, it's not, it's also the greatest Harry's razor I've ever used,
00:22:43.420 but it's the greatest razor, period. Harry's new sharper blades are still as low as $2 each.
00:22:50.360 Other razor companies have increased their prices when they introduced something new.
00:22:54.240 Harry's is delivering their sharpest shave ever, and they aren't raising their prices. I got to tell
00:22:57.820 you know, I just moved recently. And what's great about Harry's, you can get the, the razors shipped
00:23:02.200 to you, so it's all very easy. But when you move, sometimes you forget to change the address and
00:23:05.360 everything. So I found myself, I was using the same Harry's blade for a long, long, long time,
00:23:10.940 and it still remained extraordinarily sharp. Now though, I have, I've bought a lot more Harry's
00:23:14.740 razor blades. It's wonderful. They have a hundred percent quality guarantee at harrys.com.
00:23:18.420 Really great stuff. Simple, very high quality. Harry's is available wherever you shop. You can
00:23:24.720 get Harry's sharpest blades ever at a big box drug and grocery stores near you. You head on over to
00:23:29.940 the grooming aisle. And if you like to shop online, which I do, Harry's has a great offer for listeners.
00:23:35.020 New U.S. customers can redeem a Harry's trial set at harrys.com slash Knowles, K-N-A-W-L-E-S.
00:23:40.640 You'll get a five blade razor featuring their new sharper blades, a weighted handle, foaming
00:23:44.940 shave gel with aloe and a travel cover, which I really, really like. That's a nice innovation
00:23:49.660 to protect your blade wherever you're on the go. Just go to harrys.com slash Knowles and redeem
00:23:55.040 your trial offer today. We should get it as tough as possible on these Democrats as a political
00:24:04.420 matter. If it looks like the election is really going to Biden, because the Democrats are going to
00:24:09.420 be merciless when it comes to us. They're not just going to get tough in a political way. They're
00:24:14.320 going to get tough in a physical way. They're, they're threatening Republicans all over. You
00:24:18.900 hear Joe Biden every so often say, we need healing. We need unity. Barack Obama is the first articulate
00:24:24.880 black man in America. He said, he said that he did say that. Don't forget that he said that the woke
00:24:28.940 people are going to try to erase that, but he did. The Democrats are going to be merciless. Well,
00:24:34.700 well, Joe Biden is telling us that we're going to have unity and healing. You have a Michigan state
00:24:40.000 representative, Cynthia Johnson, threatening Trump supporters and telling her constituents to go
00:24:45.200 after them. So this is just a warning to you Trumpers. Be careful. Walk lightly. We ain't playing
00:24:57.840 with you. Enough of the shenanigans. Enough is enough. And for those of you who are soldiers,
00:25:10.860 you know how to do it. Do it right. Be in order. Make them pay. I love y'all. Bye bye.
00:25:23.120 I don't think she loves us all. I believe most of what she just said. The one thing I don't
00:25:31.760 believe is that she loves us all. I think she wants to kill Trump supporters. She's calling to
00:25:38.680 kill us. She's not saying be mean to them or even Maxine Waters said, you know, find them where they
00:25:45.560 are in public and go to their homes and yell at them and push back on them. This woman is calling
00:25:50.400 on people to murder us. She says, you know, you know, Trumpers, you better watch out. You better
00:25:58.460 watch out. And even then you say, okay, maybe it's just a sort of vague threat. And she goes, those of
00:26:02.980 you who are soldiers, you know what to do. You know how to do it. Well, what do you saw? Oh, soldiers
00:26:08.420 kill people, right? That's what they do. Soldiers kill people. And this elected Democrat wants to kill
00:26:14.700 us. She has been stripped of her committee assignments and may face further disciplinary
00:26:20.680 action, apparently, according to the Michigan House Representative Lee Chatfield. Ain't good
00:26:26.860 enough, buddy. Not even close to good. Obviously, she's stripped of her committee assignments. She
00:26:31.560 certainly should be kicked out of the Michigan State House. I don't know. Maybe she should face
00:26:37.440 some criminal charges. You're, you're not allowed to threaten to kill people. That's a, that's a big
00:26:45.100 deal. And she's threatening to kill all the Trump supporters. And she's inciting soldiers to kill us.
00:26:53.160 She's asking the soldiers to kill us. Ain't good enough. Ain't good enough to strip her of her
00:26:57.920 committee assignments. At the very least, she needs to be kicked out of the, the State House. And
00:27:03.660 probably she should face criminal charges. We're going to get a whole lot more of that. We're not
00:27:08.220 going to be able to speak out against it because big tech has already told us they're not going to
00:27:11.280 let us voice our opinions. They say, if you have any problem with the 2020 election and you got any
00:27:16.080 problem with that, go somewhere else. Build your own YouTube. That's what they say. That's, you'd hear
00:27:21.980 this from the kind of squishy Republicans that say, well, just, we can't, we can't make YouTube do what
00:27:27.200 we want through politics. So we've just built your own YouTube. You can't build your own YouTube.
00:27:30.620 You can't build your own YouTube. They have taken over the market. They have a critical mass.
00:27:36.600 They acquired that critical mass through fraud and through the exploitation of legal liability
00:27:44.220 protections that they do not deserve. And we need to get a little bit tougher than we used to be as
00:27:50.560 Republicans. I don't mean tougher in the way that she says, go kill all the, your political opponents.
00:27:54.280 I mean, get tougher through politics, through the law. And unbelievable, this is, this is the funniest
00:28:01.100 headline I've read probably in weeks. During this whole period, the Washington Post believes that
00:28:08.300 Republicans need to nominate possibly the most liberal member of their party to the 2020 Republican
00:28:15.840 nomination. We'll get into that very, very silly article. You know, there are some bright sides to 2020.
00:28:23.220 It's been a tough year in many, many ways. There are some bright sides. One of them is
00:28:26.720 the new and improved Leftist Tears Tumblr. You can keep those Leftist Tears hot or cold
00:28:30.780 in a new stainless steel design with a custom Daily Wire lid, all dishwasher safe. Very,
00:28:37.240 very snazzy. Join Daily Wire now or upgrade your membership to get yours just in time to enjoy those
00:28:42.940 salty tears while watching all of our new content. The Michael Knowles Show is now five days a week.
00:28:49.180 How great is that? By the way, we're also going to radio in January. That's going to be a lot of
00:28:53.200 fun. By the way, we also got the PragerU catalog at dailywire.com, which includes one of my shows,
00:28:59.020 the PragerU Book Club, also includes Candace Owens' show. And by the way, Candace is coming
00:29:02.980 to the Daily Wire. There's so much great stuff coming on. It's going to be a whole lot of fun.
00:29:07.340 By the way, we've got our first feature film coming out under Daily Wire's upcoming entertainment
00:29:11.900 channel. We're building a new investigative journalism team to replace the legacy media cartel.
00:29:16.300 Go outside the narrative. Come on over to dailywire.com slash subscribe. We are loud.
00:29:19.920 We are opinionated. We're having a very good time. We'll be right back with a lot more.
00:29:37.040 Elected Democrats are threatening to kill us and the largest media companies in the world
00:29:43.780 are threatening to censor us, promising to censor us. You've got a major political realignment going
00:29:50.820 on. Even the New York Times admitted this yesterday. The New York Times said that Joe Biden,
00:29:56.220 Joe from Scranton didn't win the working class, right? They always said Joe was going to win back
00:30:00.520 the working class and he was going to win back, you know, black and Latino voters. And actually what
00:30:06.080 you saw in 2016 and as much as you take the election results at face value is Trump actually
00:30:13.960 made inroads. He made gains among the working class, among black voters, among Hispanic voters,
00:30:21.500 among everybody apparently except for white men. And if you look at education, that was the big
00:30:27.920 difference. The, the people who have more college degrees, which by the way, I will not confuse with
00:30:34.940 actual education, but the people who have more of these educational credentials are more likely to
00:30:40.660 vote for Democrats. The people who have less of those educational credentials, more likely to vote
00:30:44.440 for Republicans, which completely blows up the former democratic idea that Republicans were the
00:30:49.820 class of the rich and the plutocrats and rich uncle penny bags. No, the Republicans are a diverse
00:30:57.620 party, but in as much as the working class has a party, it's the Republican party. And even the New York
00:31:03.260 Times is admitting this now. So while you've got this major political realignment, the swamp blob
00:31:10.220 liberal establishment wants to go back to business as usual, wants to go back to the old way of doing
00:31:16.480 things, wants to go back to nominating squishes for the Republican party who can then lose with
00:31:24.200 dignity, dignity to the democratic candidate. From the Washington Post, the silliest column I've read in
00:31:31.420 quite some time. Or I guess it's not even a column, I guess a news article. I haven't abandoned my
00:31:37.180 principles. Larry Hogan, pondering challenge to Trump, casts himself as a traditional Republican. Now this,
00:31:47.180 this article came out last year. This is being promoted in the past few days, the Larry Hogan
00:31:54.920 presidency, presidential campaign as the future of the Republican party. But this is what they wrote.
00:32:01.400 Maryland Governor Larry Hogan acknowledges that many Republicans nationwide who have heard about
00:32:05.160 his potential presidential ambitions probably view him as a centrist with little hope of finding
00:32:09.380 support in Trump's GOP. But amid growing tensions between Trump and Republican lawmakers over foreign
00:32:14.440 policy and the president's treatment of global alliances, Hogan is signaling that if he decides to wage an
00:32:18.780 insurgent campaign, he would pitch himself as far more in tune with the party's long held values and
00:32:23.500 worldview than Trump. I come from the Ronald Reagan school of politics, Hogan said last week in a
00:32:30.280 wide-ranging interview at the state capitol, shaking his head in disapproval when asked whether he
00:32:35.220 shares Trump's nationalism. Then he talks about how great the old sort of post-war liberal consensus was
00:32:42.360 and talks about how great liberal Republicans are and pretends that he's Ronald Reagan because he's a
00:32:49.040 liberal. When, when Larry Hogan said, the only reason I bring up this older article right now
00:32:52.700 is because Hogan 2024 is now getting a surge on social media from blue checkmark liberals who
00:32:59.580 are completely out of touch with the GOP base. When Larry Hogan says he's never abandoned his
00:33:04.080 principles, I actually take him at face value. He's always been a liberal Republican and he is still a
00:33:09.160 liberal Republican. His values are liberal values. Mitt Romney, I don't think, has abandoned his values.
00:33:15.700 His values were always to be a slick liberal politician who would occasionally lie and pretend to be more
00:33:22.160 conservative than he is when he thought it would benefit his political career. And there are a lot
00:33:26.180 of Republicans like that. When he says, I come from the Ronald Reagan school of politics, you are going
00:33:31.460 to hear this, not, you've been hearing it for years from the Washington Post, you're hearing it today.
00:33:35.940 This canard that back in Reagan's day, you know, Reagan, whom the liberal establishment loved. Oh,
00:33:41.880 they loved him. After he died, they loved him. When he was alive, they hated his guts.
00:33:45.200 He called him a Nazi, called him a KKK. He said all of his supporters were Nazis and white supremacists.
00:33:50.180 Same thing they did to Trump. They said, Ronald Reagan, you know, at least he could get along with
00:33:54.720 Democrats. He would, he and Tip O'Neill, who was the speaker of the house, they would fight all day
00:34:00.920 long. But you know, at six o'clock they'd go over, they'd have drinks together. They were friends.
00:34:07.280 The only problem with that story is that it's completely untrue. Nothing about that is true.
00:34:11.680 They hated one another. They were not friends. They did not work together.
00:34:16.200 I would be surprised if they ever had more than a drink together.
00:34:20.600 Tip O'Neill called Ronald Reagan evil. He said that he had ice water running through his veins.
00:34:27.780 Reagan was a little bit nicer to Tip O'Neill in public than Tip O'Neill was to Ronald Reagan.
00:34:33.360 But in private, these guys absolutely hated one another. They didn't spend time together. They
00:34:38.560 didn't chat and they didn't work on anything together. We have to oppose the liberal left.
00:34:46.740 We don't want to become the liberal left. What the establishment wants us to do is nominate the
00:34:54.300 Mitt Romneys and the John McCain's and the Larry Hogan's and the John Kasich's and all those guys,
00:35:00.840 Jeff Flake, and put them up as pretend opposition. Court jester conservatives who can go up there and
00:35:08.040 if they win, it's not a big deal because they're liberals. And really, they're probably going to
00:35:11.760 lose. And it's good if they lose because they've played their part in this kingdom of liberalism.
00:35:16.860 They want to put up Republicans who agree with the left on basically every cultural matter,
00:35:21.860 but maybe they disagree on tax cuts or something. But actually, here's the secret. Here's the big
00:35:26.560 secret. The liberal establishment doesn't mind tax cuts. Actually, most of the richest people in the
00:35:31.960 country are extremely wealthy and they enjoy tax cuts. And the tax cuts don't threaten their social
00:35:36.160 programs because they just borrow more money from China to fund them. And they're going to cozy up
00:35:40.040 to China if Joe Biden becomes president. Not enough. Those guys, weak sauce. It's preposterous
00:35:46.040 because they would never get through a GOP nomination. Not these days. We need to get cultural.
00:35:51.480 You know, we talked about this issue that keeps coming up, the porn issue, the porn debate. I know
00:35:56.580 some people don't like the porn debate. I think the porn debate is important in itself. It's also
00:36:01.440 important though, even if you don't care about the porn thing, it's important as a symbol of digging in on
00:36:05.840 cultural matters because the culture will affect politics. Politics will affect culture too, but
00:36:11.800 the culture will affect the politics. So there's a big problem with online pornography. Nicholas
00:36:19.100 Kristof, the liberal columnist in the New York Times came out and he said, look, there's child
00:36:22.760 pornography on here or under, at least under, they might not be five years old, but they're at least
00:36:26.980 17 years old, 15 years old, 14 years old. That's obviously illegal. And there's rape victims,
00:36:32.220 trafficking victims. And so you got to get this off here. The only reason this got any play is
00:36:37.320 because you had someone working from within the liberal establishment who called this out. He
00:36:41.220 wasn't calling out the other problems with porn, namely that it gets young boys addicted at a very
00:36:45.460 young age and perverts the entire country and turns us all into just sort of over sensitized,
00:36:52.360 vicious people, licentious people who aren't capable of liberty. That's the more conservative critique of
00:36:58.740 porn. But the liberal critique is, well, consent, you know, and all these sorts of problems. Okay.
00:37:06.420 As a result of that, credit card companies suggested they were going to cut off Pornhub. So
00:37:10.780 MasterCard and Visa came out publicly, said they were reconsidering their relationship with Pornhub
00:37:16.200 after Kristof accused the site of being infested with not just the underage stuff, but racist,
00:37:22.840 violent, misogynistic content. Then the companies came out and said, we're not going to do
00:37:28.720 business with them. That's very good. We can cheer that on. We can cheer that on. As conservatives,
00:37:34.080 we need to take the victories that we can get, even if it is aided by liberals through liberal
00:37:38.460 establishments, even through some arguments that are maybe secondary to the broader argument. You
00:37:43.220 know, the idea that there's racism on Pornhub. I don't even really know what that means to say
00:37:48.220 there's racism on Pornhub. To me, the bigger issue is the fact that we're getting young boys hooked on
00:37:54.540 all this licentious stuff and that there's exploitative content on there, but fine. Okay.
00:37:58.580 It's a, through racism. Okay, fine. Whatever works to weaken that giant company's exploitative
00:38:05.680 hold on the culture, that's great. That's good stuff. You could imagine that some real pure free
00:38:13.020 marketeers would say, this is a distortion of the free market. You should not allow these kind of
00:38:19.400 cultural factors to come into play. You should not allow, certainly you shouldn't allow government to
00:38:24.540 threaten Pornhub's ability to do whatever they want, even though we've had obscenity laws in this
00:38:28.660 country from the very beginning. But even, you know, even the idea that you're not going to allow
00:38:33.380 people to use certain payment processors, I don't know, it's a little dicey. I guess the payment
00:38:37.420 processors are their own companies, but still these are market interferences.
00:38:40.360 Pornhub has no right to exist. It has no right to exist. According to the constitution, there's no
00:38:50.400 right. According to US law, there's no right. Our founding fathers would be rolling over in their
00:38:54.660 graves if they knew that this sort of thing were happening. Now, I'm not saying that means we need
00:38:59.660 to outright ban Pornhub right away because I actually don't think it's possible politically.
00:39:05.740 I don't know that it's prudent. We went through some of the arguments from St. Augustine and St.
00:39:10.200 Thomas Aquinas over why they defended legal prostitution and some space in politics to
00:39:18.260 recognize that these vices won't be totally suppressed, the idea that you're not going to
00:39:21.540 cut out lust from the heart of man eternally. You need to be prudent. You need to be wise as a serpent
00:39:25.540 and innocent as a dove. But let's not just give Pornhub a free pass. Absolutely not. Keep the
00:39:31.160 pressure up. Let's not pretend they have any right to exist. They exist because at the pleasure of the
00:39:38.540 American people, you can interpret pleasure however you like. They have no right to exist though. And
00:39:44.040 by the way, the thing worked to some degree. Pornhub says that now they're only going to
00:39:50.140 have content partners and people within their model program be able to upload content to Pornhub.
00:39:57.780 Meaning that, you know, they're going to have some kind of way of verifying who gets to upload
00:40:01.680 content. They're not going to allow users to download content from Pornhub with the exception
00:40:07.560 of paid downloads from the verified model program. Okay. They've got fingerprinting technology which
00:40:13.820 will mitigate the ability for content that's already been removed to be re-uploaded. That's
00:40:18.600 going to be effective immediately. They're also going to establish a red team to self-audit the
00:40:23.360 platform for potentially illegal materials. That means someone's job is just to sit all day
00:40:27.260 and look at the most heinous kind of pornography, probably illegal pornography, and take it down.
00:40:33.360 Doesn't sound like great work. Sounds like pretty corrupting work. But anyway, they're going to do
00:40:37.200 that. I don't know that we can trust Pornhub to do it. That's a good start. Glad that they're doing
00:40:41.140 that. But it's not enough. My proposal for Pornhub is if you want to use Pornhub, not just upload
00:40:46.760 content, but if you want to use it, if you want to access it, you've got to upload a valid ID.
00:40:52.200 Doesn't matter how old you are. You could be 65 years old. If you want to use Pornhub,
00:40:56.440 if you want to access it and download it, you need to upload an ID. The reason for this is in
00:41:00.660 part age verification and in part shame. It's the same reason that you have to show an ID when you
00:41:05.480 go buy a Playboy, right? It's the same reason the Playboy, when you go buy it at the store, is in a
00:41:09.780 different kind of section of the store, a different kind of envelope or something,
00:41:12.720 because there should be some shame here. We should cultivate that shame. There's nothing wrong with
00:41:16.880 doing that. People ought to feel that shame themselves. And still, a lot of people are going to use it.
00:41:22.760 But something like approximately 100% of men have looked at online pornography at some point.
00:41:27.860 The joke about the survey is that, what was it, 94% of men have looked at naked ladies on the
00:41:32.280 internet and 6% of men are lying. Something to that effect. So it's a good start. And as conservatives,
00:41:38.860 what you want to do is fix the problem in the way that you can. You're not going for a total
00:41:43.440 revolutionary solution right away. You're not going to let the perfect get in the way of the good. But
00:41:47.600 this is a somewhat decent start. We need good standards again. You know, right now we pretend
00:41:52.520 that we don't have standards. We pretend that anything goes because you hear things like,
00:41:57.380 oh, if it feels good, do it. Love is love. If it doesn't hurt anybody, you know, it's your choice,
00:42:01.440 man, whatever. But we do have standards, actually. The standards are political correctness. And the
00:42:07.380 problem is that those standards are dumb and bad. But we have them. We just need good standards is the
00:42:12.780 issue. Kumail Nanjiani, who is apparently an actor. He has a blue checkmark on Twitter, and I'm
00:42:19.480 reliably informed he's an actor. Kumail says, he tweeted this out yesterday, traditional masculinity
00:42:25.740 is a disease. And when I read that, when I saw this ostensible, ostensibly a man tweeting out
00:42:34.540 traditional masculinity is a disease, I just thought, I hope she sees this, bro. Whatever feminist girl
00:42:40.300 you're trying to impress with that tweet, I hope she sees it. I hope it was worth something.
00:42:44.880 This is what they say. When they say on the left that masculinity is toxic or something,
00:42:50.980 they're not referring to a specific kind of toxic masculinity. But they like the good masculinity.
00:42:57.080 They hate the toxic one. I actually think that would be an interesting conversation to have
00:43:00.180 because there are aspects of the heart of man that is not great, you know, and that we should
00:43:06.320 correct through virtue. But that's not what they're saying. What they really believe is that all
00:43:10.960 masculinity, traditional masculinity, is a disease. And the alternative to that, I suspect, is femininity.
00:43:16.940 But that's not true. When a woman acts like a woman, she's womanly, and that's a good thing.
00:43:22.260 When a man acts like a man, he's manly. That's a good thing. When a man acts like a woman, he's not
00:43:27.660 womanly, he's womanish. That's why we have two words for that. Because there's something disordered
00:43:31.700 about that. There's something very wrong about that. It's not that womanliness, there's anything
00:43:37.760 wrong with that. It's not that there's anything wrong with femininity. It's that there's something
00:43:41.000 wrong when men behave in a womanish way and vice versa, because there are standards. There used to
00:43:48.040 be standards. And what political correctness wants to do is invert those standards. So the idea of
00:43:53.680 feminism was to apply traditionally male values and make all women live up to that.
00:43:59.620 Simon de Beauvoir, a very famous feminist, and Jean-Paul Sartre's Trumpet, famously said to Betty
00:44:05.260 Friedan, another very famous feminist, that women cannot be given the choice to stay home and raise
00:44:09.820 kids, because if given that choice, they'll take it. And that's bad. They need to go out and work.
00:44:14.500 They need to adopt male values. So what political correctness does is insist that women become men,
00:44:21.240 and as Kumail Najani says, men need to become women. That's a very bad idea. I think, I know this is a
00:44:29.120 radical proposal. Men should be men and women should be women. But in order to have that standard,
00:44:33.540 which was once considered common sense for, you know, all of human history until five minutes ago,
00:44:38.000 for that standard to come back, we need to articulate it. We can't just throw up our hands
00:44:43.260 and say, you do you, and anybody does anything, and I don't care how you behave, and it doesn't
00:44:46.840 affect me. No. You have to be a little stronger than that. You have to go out and say, men should do
00:44:53.420 this. Men should act with chivalry, which is, by the way, another standard. It's not, the left calls
00:44:59.740 that identity politics. It's not real. Identity politics is a specific thing. It's a left-wing
00:45:04.680 modern invention. Chivalry is a different kind of standard. That's the one we should go for.
00:45:10.460 We need clarity on these things. We need clarity on our friends and our enemies. This is a huge news
00:45:15.300 story. Documents revealed on Wednesday by Canada's rebel news network, Ezra Levon, show that Canada
00:45:26.380 was planning to train Chinese soldiers in cold weather tactics at a military base in Ontario.
00:45:34.620 And they canceled that program reluctantly when the White House found out about it and asked them to
00:45:39.800 cancel it. Canada was going to invite America's number one enemy in the world to our doorstep to train
00:45:48.500 their military. Justin Trudeau, obviously making his father very proud here. You can interpret that
00:45:56.900 statement as you will as well. If you're unfamiliar with this question, feel free to Google Justin
00:46:02.580 Trudeau's father. It's very interesting. Very interesting reading. But I'm sure, I'm sure he's making
00:46:08.140 whatever you discover on that little journey down the internet. Either way, he would be making his
00:46:14.360 very, very proud. This is some radical stuff. And it's happening very quickly.
00:46:22.840 Drew Clavin likes to use this line that he's taking from Ernest Hemingway that then I've stolen from
00:46:28.960 both of those guys, which is, things happen gradually, then suddenly. This election has been
00:46:34.900 happening gradually and gradually and gradually. Now we're approaching the suddenly part. We're days
00:46:40.140 away from the electors voting. The Supreme Court not signaling that they're going to be too helpful
00:46:46.280 to the Trump campaign and the Trump legal effort. So we might be getting into the suddenly part of all
00:46:52.120 of this. And suddenly is going to look really, really bad from big tech, from elected Republicans on
00:46:58.560 domestic policy, from the culture, cultural standpoint, and from the foreign policy standpoint.
00:47:05.440 We need to be extraordinarily vigilant. We need to do everything we possibly can. If this election is
00:47:10.720 not going to go for Trump, we need to do everything we possibly can while we still have the power. I'm

00:48:10.040 Hey, everyone. It's Andrew Clavin, host of The Andrew Clavin Show. Hunter Biden is under
00:48:15.160 investigation for his business dealings in China. We knew that, but a lot of America didn't because
00:48:20.520 big media and big tech buried the story to help get Joe Biden elected. It's one big chain of
00:48:27.280 corruption, and we'll talk about it all on The Andrew Clavin Show.
