00:03:39.360 another dollar out of sensationalism. That's the story of journalism. There is a political agenda

00:03:44.620 here. There is an ideological agenda. The corporate media are making a lot of money. The politicians are

00:03:52.340 amassing a lot of power, but it's all on the same sort of thing. Libs in the government are hoping

00:03:59.360 to inflate the COVID numbers. This is not some crazy conspiracy theory. This is a simple matter of

00:04:05.400 incentives. Chuck Schumer and AOC have just announced a new program to give $9,000 to the

00:04:15.400 family members of people who have died from COVID. And if your family member doesn't have COVID listed

00:04:22.940 as the cause of death on the certificate, don't worry, they say. You can have it added after the

00:04:27.580 fact. Today is the day the hotline is open. And because that hotline is open, you can call into FEMA

00:04:36.360 and you can start this process today. Now, we know here in New York how tough those early days were.

00:04:44.320 We couldn't even get tests here early on. It was something that was for celebrities and the

00:04:50.980 privileged in those very early days. And so we have been, Senator Schumer and I have been working

00:04:56.880 with FEMA. We've been on the phone trying to get as flexible and accommodating circumstances as

00:05:02.780 possible. So here's what families need to know. Your loved one should have COVID on their death

00:05:09.700 certificate, anywhere listed on their death certificate, either as the primary or contributing

00:05:15.260 cause of death. In those early days, though, we know that so many people, we didn't know what was

00:05:21.700 COVID and what wasn't. And so there are several options available here. One is that you can go back

00:05:27.720 to the institution that issued the death certificate, the hospital, the physician, etc. And you can have

00:05:34.040 your death certificate edited in retrospect, knowing what we know now about COVID.

00:05:39.880 This is so, so clever. It's not the first time. We've heard from the beginning of the pandemic

00:05:45.900 that there were lots of different incentives for hospitals and public health officials to inflate

00:05:53.540 the numbers. You've heard stories of certain numbers actually being corrected down upon second

00:05:57.500 glance, but through certain policies like providing extra funding for hospitals based on the number of

00:06:04.500 COVID patients they had, classifying anybody who died with COVID as dying of COVID. So if you have

00:06:10.780 COVID and you have no symptoms because you're a healthy person and you're young and you just,

00:06:15.140 you don't even know you have it, then you get shot in the head. You go to the hospital,

00:06:19.860 they test you for COVID. They say, yeah, it's a COVID death, right? So obviously these are some

00:06:23.980 perverse incentives to really tick up those numbers. And now AOC and Schumer, who they might

00:06:30.240 not be the most philosophically astute people. They might not be the most capacious minds ever,

00:06:35.620 but they are shrewd politicians. And they know that if you dangle nine grand out in front of people's

00:06:41.580 families and you say, you know, all you got to do, call up that hospital, say your loved one died of

00:06:44.860 COVID. They know that those numbers are going to go up. Why does it benefit them if those numbers go up?

00:06:49.740 One, it creates the sense of crisis. The numbers are all going down. Just like CNN says, what are we

00:06:55.060 going to do now? Say, you know, we've lost our ratings now that COVID is on the way out. We need

00:06:59.800 something to gin people up. The same is true for politicians who, especially on the left, will never

00:07:04.560 let a crisis go to waste. So they've got to continue the sense of urgency. This is something that

00:07:09.520 progressives do generally. According to the progressive view of history, the past is always terrible

00:07:14.780 and the present is always a crisis and the future is always going to be perfect and wonderful.

00:07:20.120 So you got it. You're in that crisis and you've got to harness that kind of energy and anxiety to

00:07:24.740 bring us into that utopian future. And that is certainly what AOC and Chuck Schumer are doing.

00:07:29.960 And they're doing it to great effect. And Republicans don't really know how to counter it.

00:07:34.060 They just don't know how to fight that kind of sophistication in politics. Speaking of

00:07:41.760 dishonestly inflating numbers, this is an unrelated story generally, but there is one connection at

00:07:50.220 least. Bernie Madoff died. Bernie Madoff, the most famous Ponzi schemer in history, including Ponzi.

00:07:57.680 Bernie Madoff defrauded countless people to the tune of, I don't know what, zillions and zillions

00:08:06.180 of dollars. He is the most infamous fraudster in American history. He was serving 150 year sentence

00:08:14.200 and he died in prison at, I believe, 82. The reason I mentioned this, who cares? You know,

00:08:22.060 Bernie Madoff is dead. Okay, that's fine. I actually know someone who met Bernie Madoff once in prison.

00:08:27.720 And he was going and conducting an interview and he said, the guy didn't have a hint of remorse.

00:08:32.840 So I don't know, one can pray for Bernie's soul, but I'm not sure it's looking great for him.

00:08:39.640 The reason I bring it up is to remind you that there are limits to our politics. We, on the left,

00:08:50.420 they believe there's no limit to self-actualization, to individual autonomy in the social realm. So

00:08:58.380 there should be no limits on who we sleep with, how we view the country, what property we can take,

00:09:06.220 how we burn things down. There should be no limits whatsoever on our base desires. And then on the

00:09:11.820 right, we have the flip side of that coin, which is there should be no limits whatsoever on my freedom

00:09:17.360 of choice in the marketplace, for instance, or something like that. My freedom of speech,

00:09:22.180 where we now say we're free speech absolutists, even though conservatives have never believed

00:09:25.940 that sort of thing until about five minutes ago. Fraud is not protected speech.

00:09:32.060 When you defraud somebody, you are not engaging in an act of speech that is protected by the First

00:09:38.880 Amendment. Never has been. I hope it never will be. There are limits to the First Amendment. We know

00:09:45.460 that there are limits to the First Amendment. Obscenity, sedition, fighting words, threats,

00:10:07.920 So this issue is a little bit personal for me in that I have a relative who was essentially killed

00:10:12.880 by a fraudster. This relative was defrauded by a criminal, you know, by a con artist. And the stress

00:10:20.000 of this and the devastation basically killed my relative. That speech cannot be protected.

00:10:28.860 You do not have the right to dishonest, deceitful, duplicitous speech. And we're not just seeing

00:10:38.300 that on the level of Bernie Madoff. We are seeing that on a whole political level. We're not,

00:10:44.920 it's not even just about CNN trying to gin up the ratings or something. It's about an organized

00:10:50.380 movement in this country on the left to disregard truth. I'm not saying they're, they're even lying.

00:10:58.020 I'm saying they have no concern for the truth whatsoever. They believe as the leftist

00:11:02.600 intellectuals from the mid 20th century believed that there basically is no such thing as truth,

00:11:07.560 that it's all just words, words, words, that everything is socially constructed, that our very

00:11:11.780 sex, our human nature is socially constructed and it can be whatever we say that it is. And so if I

00:11:17.140 tell a lie on the left, but I believe it's for a good social purpose, if I defraud people even,

00:11:23.860 but I believe it's for a good social purpose, then that's the moral thing to do. And that is just not

00:11:29.120 true. The moment we, we exalt fraud in this country, one of the gravest sins you can possibly

00:11:35.000 commit is the moment that we will really, really have lost our country. When I think of who's committing

00:11:42.360 the most fraud around here, it probably would be the, the militant radicals on the street. I'm

00:11:47.900 talking about the leftist terrorists burning down our country, notably BLM, because they are torching

00:11:53.580 our country on a lie. And I'm talking about in a very narrow sense, the, the BLM riots have been 0.90

00:12:02.580 called the 1619 riots by Charles Kessler at the Claremont Review. And Hannah Nicole Jones or Nicole

00:12:09.500 Hannah Jones, whatever her name is, she said she was proud to call the BLM riots, the 1619 riots,

00:12:14.560 the 1619 project, which says that America's, the revolution took place basically because of slavery

00:12:20.120 to protect slavery. That is a, that is fraud. That is a lie that the central thesis of that

00:12:26.580 is not true. It's been debunked by academic historians, but the left doesn't care because

00:14:23.380 engaging in political education work. She hasn't received a penny after 2019.

00:14:28.460 Now she's saying it's a right-wing offensive that's putting her and her family at risk

00:14:32.620 and it continues a tradition of terror by white supremacists against Black activists.

00:14:38.640 The lady doth protest too much, me thinks. I don't believe her. I don't believe that she

00:14:43.700 hasn't been paid in two years for her job. I don't believe that these reports are just completely

00:14:49.700 fabricated out of nowhere. And by the way, Black Lives Matter of New York City doesn't believe her

00:14:54.420 either. Hawk Newsome, who's the leader of BLM in New York City, has called for an independent

00:15:01.500 investigation into Patrice Cullors' finances and operations of the BLM group. Says, quote,

00:15:09.620 if you go around calling yourself a socialist, you have got to ask how much of her own personal

00:15:15.380 money is going to charitable causes. It's really sad because it makes people doubt the validity

00:15:19.100 of the movement and overlook the fact that it is the people that carry this movement. Okay,

00:15:26.080 so now there's infighting among BLM. Love that. Totally love that. But I don't think it's really

00:15:31.460 in earnest. I wish that all of a sudden BLM really cared about the truth, but I don't think that they do.

00:15:38.300 I think that BLM is basically fighting within its own factions over who's going to get the money.

00:15:46.240 This happened in Ferguson. When BLM raked in something like $90 million last year,

00:15:50.140 you heard the family of Michael Brown. You heard the Ferguson BLM activists. They said,

00:16:02.180 they just said, hey, give me a cut. And I suspect that's what BLM is doing here. That is really basic

00:16:16.280 at it than Republicans. There is a question right now as to whether or not some Republicans are

00:16:20.260 engaging in this. Matt Gaetz is at the center of one of these issues. We talked about it a little bit

00:16:26.960 last week. Matt Gaetz, he's saying that he's being extorted by someone. People are accusing him

00:16:32.780 of sleeping with teenage girls. Who knows? I guess there'll be some investigation.

00:16:37.480 Regardless of the truth of it, CNN is now admitting that they're going to hype this

00:16:42.280 because they want to go after Matt Gaetz.

00:16:45.800 He's a problem for the Democratic Party because he's so conservative. And he can cause a lot of

00:17:14.160 hiccups in passing of laws. So it's, it would be great for them to argue to get around. So we're

00:17:22.980 going to keep running those stories to get hurt again and make it so that it can't be buried and

00:17:28.160 like just, you know, settle that side of court. And it's like, you know, if we keep pushing that,

00:17:34.860 it's helping us. That's propagating. It's helping us in some way.

00:17:39.960 It is, of course. And that, that is the motivation for why they keep running all these Matt Gaetz

00:17:45.160 stories is because they feel that Matt Gaetz is an effective communicator and they, they want to go

00:17:48.660 after him. So it's not about, I don't know whether Matt Gaetz did what he's accused of doing or whether

00:17:52.560 he's being extorted or whether whatever. That is secondary to the narrative because the left knows

00:18:01.580 that the narrative is very helpful. So they're going to continue to repeat it. So bringing this back

00:18:04.940 to the racial grievance industry, like the BLM people, bringing this back to the race hustlers, 0.82

00:18:10.640 you're going to see more and more narratives about racial hatred on camp, on campus, especially,

00:18:16.940 even if the left has to contrive them out of whole cloth. Great example of this last week,

00:18:23.000 students of color, what color? I don't know. At White Bear Lake High School, South Campus in Minnesota,

00:18:29.420 were invited into a group chat on Instagram where they were sent threatening and racist messages.

00:18:36.120 Oh man, this is a big deal. These, you know, classic white supremacists in high schools are going

00:18:43.300 in, threatening these students and this is going to be a big school-wide issue. And then, oh, wait a

00:18:48.080 second. Nope, nevermind. Nevermind. It's okay. No big deal. Nothing to see here. Let's move on. Why?

00:18:53.200 Why? Because it appears to have been a hoax. I could have told you. I couldn't have told you with

00:19:00.140 100% certainty that this was a hoax, but I would have, I would have bet a lot of money that it was

00:19:52.220 victimhood carries social currency. So if you create incentives for that sort of thing, you're going to

00:19:58.660 get a whole lot more of it. That's, that's the way the business works. That's the way Grievance

00:20:04.520 Incorporated works. And if you create incentives in the other direction towards a virtue, humility,

00:20:12.120 resignation, courage, all of these virtues, prudence, then you will get more of that as well.

00:20:21.620 Why are these students creating the hoaxes? It's not even just the students' fault. It's not that

00:20:29.800 nowhere. It's because that is how they're being educated. That is the indoctrination that they're,

00:20:33.340 they're getting in school from a very young age. It's what they're being taught.

00:20:36.900 The Santa Clara County Office of Education just gave a presentation to educators that had a,

00:20:45.720 had these struggle sessions, had to indoctrinate children in this ridiculous racial ideology.

00:20:51.140 The, the presenter here was a guy named Jorge Pacheco. And this comes to us via Chris Rufo at

00:20:56.400 City Journal. This is what the presenter told the teachers, quote, we have to be extra careful

00:21:01.780 about what is being said. Since we can't just say something controversial now that we're in

00:21:07.340 people's homes. Parents can take out of context or see what materials are being used. So we need to

00:21:13.680 be careful of what they see. The kids become a subject and you are intending to awaken them to

00:21:20.260 the oppression that they aren't aware of, but that they are actively participating in. Then how to lead

00:21:25.560 to social change. Wow. This is out of a cartoon that this guy would say this. One,

00:21:32.640 our education is so radical that you have to hide it from parents. The implication here, parents should

00:21:37.720 have absolutely no say in how their children are raised. Only we, the radicals who have taken over

00:21:43.180 the instruments of the state, only we should have a say in that. And three, false consciousness.

00:21:49.660 This is an idea that was developed by the neo-Marxists after, it comes from the idea of

00:21:58.040 Marx that, that basically you have to awaken the proletariat, the working classes, the oppressed

00:22:02.780 masses to their own oppression. Because the, it turns out that the working classes tended to have 0.93

00:22:08.500 some common sense and they didn't go for the radicals, crazy theories. So then beginning with

00:22:12.300 people like Antonio Gramsci, the Italian Marxist philosopher and communist politician, the Frankfurt

00:22:18.340 school, later on the new left, which was led by one of the chief figures from the Frankfurt school.

00:34:41.500 uh, he believes that, uh, advancing equity for all, including people of color and others who have been

00:34:47.360 historically underserved, marginalized, and adversely affected by persistent poverty and inequality can be

00:34:53.960 helped by these actions. And by focusing on advancing equity in the title 10 program, we can create

00:34:59.600 opportunities for the improvement of communities that have been historically underserved.

00:35:04.260 Well, the community that's most historically underserved are these babies who are being

00:35:08.180 killed. And even on the racial grievance front, it's specifically little black babies who are

00:35:12.680 disproportionately being attacked. So she completely ignores the question. She, she denies basic facts

00:35:45.300 giving, that's only going toward the pens and the pencils and the copy machines. Well, that's not how

00:35:49.280 money works. Money is fungible. So you just get money and you put it in a bank account and you

00:37:27.740 which, quote, scientists have agreed never to allow human embryos to develop beyond two weeks in their

00:37:33.240 labs. That is the point at which a spherical embryo starts to form a body plan, which is deciding where

00:37:39.260 the head will end up and when the cells begin taking unspecialized missions. I bet many people

00:37:45.440 didn't even know that scientists do this, that scientists permit the development of little human

00:37:50.380 beings to perform experiments on them for two weeks and then they kill them. And that is horrifying

00:37:56.560 enough. But now what they're doing is they're just going to ditch that rule and they're going to let

00:38:01.880 them grow and there's going to be a separate cast of babies, poor unfortunate babies who are going to be 1.00

00:45:51.540 state health department said seven more Floridians and two additional non-residents have died due to

00:45:57.040 COVID-19. Very sad that these people have died, but pretty good that it is so low. But this doesn't

00:46:04.580 make sense. Florida has been open basically the whole time. What's that about? Very, very strange

00:46:09.720 stuff. Quote, over the past two weeks, a daily report of COVID deaths across the state have ranged

00:46:15.360 between 22 and 98, not 2,200, not 22,000, 22 and 98. The week to week reported deaths have been on a

00:46:22.620 slow decline since January. Just five new coronavirus deaths in Florida were reported September 28th.
