00:00:30.540 Israel and the Palestinian territories
00:00:32.300 are going up in flames
00:00:34.040 after years of relative peace
00:00:36.640 during the Trump administration,
00:00:38.040 but do not worry.
00:00:39.380 Because President Biden has things under control.
00:00:42.140 He has sent his spokesman out
00:00:44.060 to kindly and politely tell people
00:00:47.260 to please de-escalate.
00:00:49.740 Since last week,
00:00:51.040 he has directed his team to engage intensively
00:00:53.800 with senior Israeli and Palestinian officials
00:00:56.240 as well as leaders throughout the Middle East.
00:00:58.840 His team is communicating a clear
00:01:01.100 and consistent message
00:01:02.320 in support of de-escalation,
00:01:04.560 and that is our primary focus.
00:01:06.940 That's good.
00:01:07.760 That's what does it.
00:01:08.580 That's what brings peace to the Middle East
00:01:10.020 is a clear and consistent message
00:01:12.180 from the team of the president
00:01:14.080 to de-escalate,
00:01:15.600 even though the president's own messaging
00:01:17.400 on his support for Israel's enemies
00:01:19.760 has been a little bit inconsistent,
00:01:21.860 which has probably led us
00:01:23.340 to this very, very moment.
00:01:26.000 Probably not going to be able
00:01:27.020 to breathe easy
00:01:27.640 in that part of the world
00:01:28.400 for a few years.
00:01:29.080 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:01:29.700 This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:38.440 Welcome back to the show.
00:01:39.580 My favorite comment yesterday
00:01:40.560 is from Lisa Gentile
00:01:42.060 is being heavily censored.
00:01:43.500 That's the name.
00:01:44.280 The comment is,
00:01:45.980 giving immoral people
00:01:47.280 the liberty to act immorally
00:01:49.720 makes the world a worse place.
00:01:51.800 Yes, of course that's true.
00:01:52.640 It's not even liberty.
00:01:54.400 The idea,
00:01:55.040 this is just what the libs
00:01:56.040 and the squishes say liberty is,
00:01:57.700 where they say that,
00:01:59.040 you know,
00:01:59.440 if you don't allow transvestites
00:02:01.620 to jiggle in front of babies
00:02:03.100 and toddlers,
00:02:04.020 you know,
00:02:04.200 that's depriving Americans
00:02:06.260 of their liberty.
00:02:07.360 You think,
00:02:07.720 I don't think James Madison
00:02:09.060 quite had that in mind
00:02:10.680 when he was,
00:02:11.860 when he was writing
00:02:12.580 the Constitution.
00:02:13.280 I'm not sure that's exactly
00:02:14.340 what Thomas Jefferson
00:02:15.200 was thinking about
00:02:15.940 in the Declaration of Independence.
00:02:18.700 People,
00:02:19.080 they need to just relax
00:02:20.760 a little bit,
00:02:22.000 to have a little bit
00:02:23.000 of prudence
00:02:23.760 and see the world
00:02:25.280 a little bit more clearly.
00:02:26.140 One great way to relax,
00:02:27.640 check out First Leaf.
00:02:28.780 Who hasn't been there?
00:02:29.800 You're standing in the wine aisle,
00:02:31.440 you're staring at the shelves.
00:02:32.440 Do you want a California red?
00:02:34.240 Maybe you want one from Oregon.
00:02:35.720 Maybe you want something organic.
00:02:37.700 Maybe you just want the one
00:02:38.960 with a really nice label,
00:02:39.960 but how do you know?
00:02:40.700 What's going on?

00:03:06.340 really liked is First Leaf,

00:03:29.000 What is going on in Israel?
00:03:31.780 I don't know.
00:03:32.260 How much time do we have?
00:03:33.180 We could be here
00:03:34.000 for a very long time.
00:03:35.480 A lot of news outlets
00:03:36.880 are going really, really,
00:03:38.720 really in-depth
00:03:39.740 on exactly what started
00:03:41.560 the conflict,
00:03:42.200 and the left-wing outlets
00:03:43.360 are saying the Israelis
00:03:44.380 started this,
00:03:45.260 and the right-wing outlets
00:03:46.680 are saying it was
00:03:47.440 the Palestinian Arabs
00:03:48.800 and it was because of this
00:03:50.320 and it was because of that,
00:03:51.120 and you could spend
00:03:52.080 a whole lot of time
00:03:52.980 going back through
00:03:53.740 the millennia
00:03:54.420 to find the origin
00:03:56.640 of this particular conflict.
00:03:58.760 For our purposes,
00:04:01.280 what is relevant today
00:04:02.760 is the timing.
00:04:04.700 Why is this breaking out
00:04:05.840 right now?
00:04:06.720 Why were things relatively cool
00:04:08.380 under the Trump administration,
00:04:09.600 but now they've gotten
00:04:10.300 a lot hotter
00:04:10.940 under the Biden administration?
00:04:12.940 It's because of two
00:04:13.920 competing approaches
00:04:15.060 to the Middle East.
00:04:16.780 When John Kerry
00:04:18.420 was Secretary of State
00:04:19.540 before he was gallivanting
00:04:20.940 all over the world
00:04:21.560 trying to stop the sun monster,
00:04:23.240 John Kerry said
00:04:24.320 that there is no way
00:04:26.160 to bring peace
00:04:27.300 to the Middle East
00:04:28.000 without first solving
00:04:29.600 the Palestinian problem.
00:04:31.400 What is the Palestinian problem?
00:04:32.700 Well, you've got this country,
00:04:34.180 Israel,
00:04:34.660 which was created in 1948,
00:04:35.940 and you've got Arabs
00:04:37.600 that are in the region,
00:04:39.000 and then you've got
00:04:39.920 national borders
00:04:41.000 being set all around,
00:04:42.240 and then you've got
00:04:43.620 this group of people
00:04:44.680 that the other countries
00:04:45.720 don't want
00:04:46.380 and that are holding out hope
00:04:48.040 that they can get rid
00:04:48.780 of Israel entirely,
00:04:49.640 and this has created violence,
00:04:52.280 and violence has ebbed
00:04:54.180 and flowed over the years.
00:04:55.860 Why?
00:04:56.680 Again,
00:04:57.420 there is no reason
00:04:58.880 to go any more in depth
00:05:00.820 on that.
00:05:01.740 That way lies madness.
00:05:03.620 The thing that matters
00:05:04.600 for us right now
00:05:05.520 is why were things
00:05:06.760 relatively peaceful
00:05:07.540 under Trump,
00:05:08.300 and why are they
00:05:09.580 getting more violent
00:05:10.500 under Biden?
00:05:11.480 Because Donald Trump
00:05:12.540 sent a clear message.
00:05:13.520 He said the United States
00:05:14.340 is not going to tolerate
00:05:15.240 attacks on the existence
00:05:17.080 of Israel.
00:05:18.120 We're not going to give money
00:05:19.860 to people who hate us
00:05:21.880 in the region,
00:05:22.400 and we're not going
00:05:23.800 to side with Iran.
00:05:26.100 Why is this?
00:05:27.040 Well, very famously,
00:05:28.000 I remember seeing them
00:05:28.780 when I was 11 years old.
00:05:31.520 The images on September 11th
00:05:33.140 of Palestinian Arabs
00:05:34.580 dancing in the streets.
00:05:35.940 If you want the support
00:05:37.060 of the United States,
00:05:37.880 it's not a good idea
00:05:39.120 to dance in the streets
00:05:40.060 in celebration
00:05:40.660 when the World Trade Center
00:05:43.220 is attacked.
00:05:44.140 So,
00:05:45.380 there,
00:05:45.840 but even beyond
00:05:47.260 the Palestinian Arabs,
00:05:48.420 there are lots of places
00:05:50.000 in this region
00:05:50.540 that don't like us very much,
00:05:51.780 notably Iran.
00:05:53.100 The Democrats' strategy
00:05:54.920 on the Middle East
00:05:55.720 was suck up to Iran
00:05:57.560 and suck up
00:05:59.300 to the Palestinian Arabs.
00:06:00.960 And if you focus
00:06:01.720 on the Palestinian issue,
00:06:03.120 that will solve
00:06:04.000 the Middle East.
00:06:05.540 The right took
00:06:06.200 a completely different approach.
00:06:07.840 Donald Trump said,
00:06:08.480 John Kerry,
00:06:09.080 you're wrong.
00:06:09.680 You don't need to solve
00:06:10.460 this Palestinian issue.
00:06:11.500 You're not going to solve
00:06:12.120 this Palestinian issue.
00:06:13.160 So,
00:06:13.420 we're going to go directly
00:06:14.120 to the actual nation states
00:06:15.740 in the Middle East
00:06:16.300 because don't forget,
00:06:17.280 Palestine is not a country.
00:06:18.860 It's that country
00:06:19.540 east of Wakanda
00:06:20.420 and left of Narnia,
00:06:21.520 right?
00:06:21.720 It's not,
00:06:22.580 there is no nation state
00:06:24.060 there called Palestine.
00:06:25.100 So,
00:06:25.420 go to the other places
00:06:26.320 and you'll get peace deals.
00:06:27.260 This is what happened.
00:06:28.860 And Iran
00:06:29.420 is a big issue here.
00:06:31.440 The Obama administration,
00:06:32.680 Biden want to send
00:06:33.360 pallets of cash to Iran.
00:06:35.200 The Trump administration
00:06:36.480 kills Iran's top general,
00:06:38.480 right?
00:06:39.840 Different friends,
00:06:40.840 different allies,
00:06:41.720 different approach
00:06:42.160 to the Middle East.
00:06:42.780 Which one worked out better?
00:06:44.700 We,
00:06:44.960 we have the data.
00:06:46.240 We've got the evidence.
00:06:47.960 Things were much more stable,
00:06:49.980 much more peaceful
00:06:50.680 under Trump.
00:06:51.540 But that is not stopping
00:06:52.740 Democrats
00:06:53.360 from going back
00:06:54.260 to the same old
00:06:55.180 failed strategy.
00:06:57.400 Bernie Sanders tweets out,
00:06:58.780 the United States
00:06:59.420 must call for an immediate
00:07:00.400 ceasefire and an end
00:07:01.500 to provocative
00:07:02.120 and illegal settlement activity.
00:07:04.360 And we must also
00:07:05.380 recommit to working
00:07:06.400 with Israelis
00:07:07.060 and Palestinians
00:07:07.860 to finally end
00:07:09.180 this conflict.
00:07:10.540 I think most people
00:07:11.660 are going to,
00:07:14.740 first of all,
00:07:15.380 they're going to read
00:07:15.740 this tweet and say
00:07:16.200 that Bernie Sanders
00:07:16.800 is blaming Israel here,
00:07:18.380 right?
00:07:19.240 Okay.
00:07:20.760 But they're going to,
00:07:21.620 they're going to read
00:07:22.040 this tweet and they're
00:07:22.540 going to say,
00:07:23.300 what do I care?
00:07:26.020 What do I care as an
00:07:27.280 American about Israel
00:07:28.340 and Palestine
00:07:29.160 and the Middle East?
00:07:30.120 Why do we have to be
00:07:30.900 there at all?
00:07:31.480 What is the point of this?
00:07:32.300 Why is our foreign policy
00:07:33.440 dominated by this one
00:07:35.140 region of the world?
00:07:36.400 And they have a good point.
00:07:38.020 The American foreign policy
00:07:39.500 should be pretty simple.
00:07:40.660 Do what is in the interest
00:07:41.720 of the United States,
00:07:42.680 right?
00:07:43.820 Seems simple enough.
00:07:45.400 Now,
00:07:45.920 this gets complicated
00:07:47.020 because we are involved
00:07:49.400 in lots of world affairs
00:07:50.600 and we have alliances
00:07:52.440 and we are dependent
00:07:53.680 on certain places
00:07:54.560 and we,
00:07:56.240 it matters to us
00:07:57.080 if one power gets too big
00:07:58.560 and we want to suppress
00:07:59.300 other powers.
00:07:59.840 So I'm not saying
00:08:00.660 it's as simple as
00:08:01.640 put your head in the sand
00:08:02.460 and hope that everything
00:08:03.080 is okay in the Middle East.
00:08:04.460 But if our foreign policy
00:08:06.740 is to do what is in the
00:08:07.920 interest of the United States,
00:08:09.060 then it would seem very much
00:08:10.280 to be in our interest
00:08:11.160 to keep things
00:08:12.260 relatively stable over there
00:08:13.660 without having to send troops,
00:08:14.900 without having to really
00:08:15.600 get involved in any wars.
00:08:16.760 When wars break out,
00:08:17.860 people have to start
00:08:18.500 taking sides,
00:08:19.420 people have to start
00:08:20.020 getting involved.
00:08:20.760 And the fact is,
00:08:21.740 the simple fact is
00:08:22.780 that the policy
00:08:23.900 of legitimizing
00:08:25.500 the Palestinian nation state
00:08:27.620 led to more violence,
00:08:29.980 dragged America
00:08:30.620 into this issue
00:08:31.440 much, much further.
00:08:32.500 And the policy
00:08:33.320 of basically ignoring
00:08:34.680 the Palestinian,
00:08:36.100 Palestinian claims
00:08:37.120 for a nation state
00:08:38.160 and just going directly
00:08:39.160 to our other friends
00:08:40.340 and allies
00:08:40.800 in the Middle East,
00:08:42.060 going to other Arab states
00:08:43.960 in the region
00:08:44.440 and saying,
00:08:44.940 hey, make peace,
00:08:46.240 don't be a jerk,
00:08:47.240 keep things calm,
00:08:48.080 we're going to be back
00:08:48.580 over here on the other side
00:08:49.440 of the Atlantic.
00:08:49.940 That seemed to work out
00:08:51.500 pretty well.
00:08:52.860 So perhaps we should
00:08:53.680 do more of that.
00:08:55.060 But of course,
00:08:56.120 Joe Biden,
00:08:57.400 the liberal establishment,
00:08:59.380 the broad sort of
00:09:00.400 liberal imperialist
00:09:01.960 foreign policy types,
00:09:03.840 they don't want that.
00:09:05.540 They don't seem
00:09:06.100 to want that at all.
00:09:07.480 Big, big takeaway
00:09:08.400 from what's going on
00:09:09.440 in Israel right now,
00:09:10.840 very important to be able
00:09:11.900 to defend yourself.
00:09:12.960 It is pretty amazing
00:09:13.880 to watch you're seeing
00:09:14.600 rockets going into Israel
00:09:15.780 and then Israel
00:09:16.380 just popping them off,
00:09:17.840 just doesn't,
00:09:18.340 doesn't matter.
00:09:19.060 Israel's Iron Dome
00:09:21.020 strategy is pretty amazing.
00:09:23.200 It's just,
00:09:23.720 they're a very well-defended country.
00:09:27.540 Now,
00:09:28.420 nations are not
00:09:29.340 the only entities
00:09:30.460 that have the right
00:09:31.000 to defend themselves.
00:09:31.720 Individuals have the right
00:09:32.460 to defend themselves
00:09:33.200 as well.
00:09:34.320 Senator Cruz
00:09:34.800 made this point yesterday.
00:09:36.660 Senator Cruz
00:09:37.100 was in a hearing
00:09:37.700 on gun control
00:09:38.680 and the libs
00:09:41.120 were making
00:09:41.680 such disingenuous arguments
00:09:43.980 about how,
00:09:44.860 look,
00:09:45.080 we don't want
00:09:45.420 to take your guns.
00:09:46.200 We just,
00:09:46.960 what we want to do
00:09:47.720 is track your guns.
00:09:49.380 We want to know
00:09:49.960 where they are,
00:09:50.800 but we're not going
00:09:51.240 to take them,
00:09:52.380 but we want to know
00:09:52.920 exactly what guns you have,
00:09:53.920 but we're not going
00:09:54.480 to come take them
00:09:54.980 and we need to know
00:09:55.520 exactly where you have them,
00:09:56.420 but we're definitely
00:09:57.160 not going to go
00:09:57.800 steal your guns.
00:09:58.540 And Senator Cruz
00:09:59.860 knocked that argument down.
00:10:02.160 Democrats don't want
00:10:03.160 to address
00:10:03.700 the consistent,
00:10:04.860 proven,
00:10:05.380 empirical failure
00:10:06.300 of gun control laws.
00:10:07.920 They don't work
00:10:08.840 and they make crime worse,
00:10:11.160 but they also want
00:10:12.720 to scapegoat
00:10:13.380 law-abiding citizens.
00:10:15.100 The hobbyists
00:10:15.680 who make homemade guns
00:10:17.820 who are not committing crimes,
00:10:19.420 they want to scapegoat them.
00:10:21.900 But the real issue
00:10:23.200 is in something
00:10:23.800 Chairman Blumenthal
00:10:24.560 made several references to.
00:10:26.920 He referred to these guns
00:10:28.460 as untraceable
00:10:29.620 and that term
00:10:31.320 was meant to be ominous.
00:10:34.680 That's what this is all about.
00:10:36.600 The Democrats
00:10:37.400 on this committee
00:10:38.200 want to trace
00:10:40.700 every firearm in America.
00:10:43.480 They want a registry
00:10:44.400 of every firearm in America.
00:10:46.380 They want a government list
00:10:47.620 of what guns they are,
00:10:50.220 there are,
00:10:50.940 who owns them,
00:10:51.880 how many they own them,
00:10:52.980 and inevitably
00:10:53.720 when you see countries
00:10:54.940 enact registries
00:10:56.460 of firearms,
00:10:57.420 the next step
00:10:58.400 is confiscation.
00:10:59.540 And numerous Democrats
00:11:00.400 on this committee
00:11:01.220 have advocated
00:11:02.360 for confiscating firearms.
00:11:04.480 Of course.
00:11:05.380 This is obviously true.
00:11:06.800 If you believe
00:11:07.720 that Democrats
00:11:08.320 want to trace your guns,
00:11:09.560 they want to know
00:11:09.920 exactly how many you have,
00:11:10.940 they want to know
00:11:11.280 exactly where you keep them,
00:11:12.300 but they're not interested
00:11:13.620 in taking them,
00:11:14.540 then I have got a bridge
00:11:15.860 in Brooklyn to sell you.
00:11:17.400 So Senator Cruz
00:11:18.180 hits that point.
00:11:18.780 He also hit an important point
00:11:19.920 at the top of that,
00:11:20.640 I don't know if you caught it,
00:11:21.600 which is,
00:11:22.680 he addressed this issue
00:11:23.680 of the ghost guns.
00:11:24.600 You're going to hear
00:11:24.960 a lot about this
00:11:25.880 on leftist media.
00:11:27.320 They're going to say
00:11:27.840 that there's this issue
00:11:28.520 of ghost guns.
00:11:29.320 What are ghost guns?
00:11:29.940 It's guns that people
00:11:30.540 make themselves.
00:11:31.900 And the ghost guns,
00:11:32.840 they're a really big problem.
00:11:33.580 We've got to stop
00:11:34.040 the ghost guns.
00:11:34.760 There is zero evidence
00:11:38.400 that ghost guns
00:11:39.720 are involved in crimes.
00:11:42.220 Ever.
00:11:43.800 There's who,
00:11:44.620 for people,
00:11:45.720 I suppose,
00:11:46.640 who do not,
00:11:48.080 who are not involved
00:11:48.740 in firearms,
00:11:49.580 who do not know people
00:11:51.020 who are firearms hobbyists,
00:11:53.360 the people who make ghost guns
00:11:55.340 are kind of nerdy gun types
00:11:58.460 who are just really interested
00:11:59.580 in this,
00:12:00.140 who,
00:12:00.440 in my experience,
00:12:01.640 and I think the data
00:12:02.380 bear this out
00:12:03.020 are the most law-abiding people
00:12:05.840 in the country
00:12:06.400 on the issue of guns.
00:12:07.620 They know exactly
00:12:08.280 what the rules are.
00:12:09.040 They follow them meticulously.
00:12:10.480 They're very responsible
00:12:11.380 with their firearms.
00:12:13.000 And Cruz is saying
00:12:13.900 this is a completely fake issue
00:12:15.640 that Democrats are pushing
00:12:17.200 because they want
00:12:18.220 to take away your guns.
00:12:19.660 I have to,
00:12:20.160 I have to give
00:12:20.640 Senator Cruz credit.
00:12:21.500 I don't just say this
00:12:22.480 because we co-host
00:12:23.720 a podcast together,
00:12:25.640 the Verdict podcast.
00:12:26.980 We're going to have
00:12:27.280 some new episodes
00:12:27.700 of that coming out soon.
00:12:28.500 I don't just say this
00:12:29.500 because he's a friend of mine.
00:12:30.400 And he destroyed
00:12:32.880 the libs yesterday.
00:12:34.240 I don't know how else
00:12:35.340 to put it.
00:12:35.840 There were,
00:12:36.100 there were two hearings.
00:12:37.080 There was the gun hearing,
00:12:38.240 but then he also had
00:12:39.200 to go in to talk
00:12:40.080 about S1 or HR1.
00:12:42.460 It's the Corrupt Politicians Act,
00:12:43.920 that huge election power,
00:12:45.840 power grab
00:12:46.440 that the Democrats
00:12:47.080 are pushing right now.
00:12:47.860 So he's,
00:12:48.360 he's going in between
00:12:49.400 both of these hearings
00:12:50.600 and just knocking down
00:12:52.540 their arguments.
00:12:54.300 It's very,
00:12:55.120 very important
00:12:55.660 because the Democrats
00:12:56.700 have a lot of power
00:12:57.640 right now.
00:12:58.020 It's the only power
00:12:58.760 that we have
00:12:59.560 as this legislation
00:13:00.640 goes through
00:13:01.300 is to expose
00:13:03.220 every aspect.
00:13:04.440 I think the Democrats
00:13:04.980 want to pass this stuff
00:13:05.840 without anybody seeing
00:13:06.720 what's really in it.
00:13:08.000 And Senator Cruz
00:13:08.840 is spelling it all out
00:13:10.360 right in front of them
00:13:11.640 for the TV cameras
00:13:13.200 to put a lot
00:13:14.400 of political pressure
00:13:15.120 because this is all
00:13:15.840 going to come down
00:13:16.380 to two senators,
00:13:17.880 Joe Manchin
00:13:18.500 and Kyrsten Sinema,
00:13:20.160 the two somewhat
00:13:21.240 moderate Democrats
00:13:22.240 who will decide
00:13:23.400 whether or not
00:13:23.980 to get rid of
00:13:24.440 the filibuster,
00:13:25.020 who will then,
00:13:26.260 that decision
00:13:27.300 will then decide
00:13:27.980 whether or not
00:13:29.140 we're going to have
00:13:30.200 a radically different
00:13:31.480 political order.
00:13:32.880 If you want
00:13:33.960 to protect yourself
00:13:34.860 from all these sorts
00:13:37.020 of things
00:13:37.520 and most notably
00:13:38.460 from people
00:13:38.920 who are at your front door,
00:13:39.840 you got to check out Ring.
00:13:40.740 So much is going on
00:13:41.620 at our front doors
00:13:42.200 these days.
00:13:43.480 Obviously,
00:13:44.020 this has increased
00:13:44.900 for me.
00:13:45.620 If someone's stopping by,
00:13:46.840 if something's going on
00:13:48.040 outdoors,
00:13:48.880 even if someone
00:13:49.380 doesn't ring the bell,
00:13:50.200 you will be able to see
00:13:51.020 and speak to whoever's

00:13:57.820 whether you are
00:13:58.600 on the other side
00:13:59.940 of the world.
00:14:00.980 Ring has hassle-free,
00:14:02.220 easy-to-install

00:14:07.840 some will be unwelcome
00:14:08.760 and it helps for you
00:14:09.800 to know.
00:14:10.440 I really recommend it.
00:14:11.240 It makes me feel safe

00:14:16.040 housewarming gift

00:14:35.620 K-N-W-L-E-S.
00:14:38.020 Senator Cruz
00:14:38.920 knocked down
00:14:39.660 a lot of the gun arguments
00:14:40.580 at the gun hearing.
00:14:41.300 He then goes
00:14:41.900 across the street,
00:14:43.120 shows up to the
00:14:44.340 Corrupt Politicians Act hearing.
00:14:46.200 This is a major,
00:14:47.720 major power grab here
00:14:49.040 and the way it's being pushed
00:14:51.180 is it's a way
00:14:52.060 to protect
00:14:53.260 minority voters
00:14:55.040 against the evil
00:14:56.500 Jim Crow
00:14:58.040 racist
00:14:59.720 regulations
00:15:01.620 such as requiring
00:15:02.920 an ID to vote.
00:15:04.960 Voter ID.
00:15:05.700 That's good.
00:15:05.980 That's what this law
00:15:07.220 would do
00:15:07.680 is say
00:15:08.280 states are not
00:15:09.820 not allowed
00:15:10.500 to have voter ID laws.
00:15:12.080 They're going to say
00:15:12.520 states are not allowed
00:15:13.760 to ban murderers
00:15:15.140 from voting.
00:15:16.040 States are not allowed
00:15:16.720 to ban
00:15:17.240 child rapists
00:15:18.700 from voting.
00:15:19.920 States are not.
00:15:20.360 There's so much
00:15:21.340 in this law
00:15:22.020 and Senator Cruz
00:15:23.620 hit on
00:15:24.040 I think the part
00:15:25.020 that politicians
00:15:26.360 are most excited about.
00:15:28.000 The law
00:15:28.580 would give
00:15:29.360 politicians
00:15:30.100 a lot of money.
00:15:32.080 You know
00:15:32.200 as the American people
00:15:33.140 think of needy populations
00:15:34.840 in need
00:15:35.920 of assistance
00:15:36.820 I have yet
00:15:38.720 to encounter
00:15:39.420 a single constituent
00:15:41.200 in Texas
00:15:41.900 or in any of our states
00:15:43.120 that considers
00:15:44.300 politicians
00:15:45.040 anywhere near
00:15:45.720 the top of the list.
00:15:47.260 This bill
00:15:47.960 in addition to being
00:15:48.760 the Corrupt Politicians Act
00:15:50.100 is also the
00:15:51.100 Welfare for Politicians Act
00:15:52.660 because this bill
00:15:54.240 creates a matching
00:15:55.560 program for politicians
00:15:56.800 not just an even
00:15:58.320 matching program
00:15:59.100 a six to one
00:16:00.600 matching program
00:16:02.400 of federal funds
00:16:03.560 flooding into
00:16:05.260 federal elections.
00:16:06.540 Your constituents
00:16:07.320 in every one
00:16:08.600 of your states
00:16:09.380 I'd venture
00:16:10.080 do not want
00:16:11.400 to give
00:16:11.940 your campaigns
00:16:12.940 or my campaigns
00:16:14.260 millions of dollars
00:16:16.060 of federal money.
00:16:17.140 we don't need
00:16:18.580 welfare for politicians
00:16:19.900 and I urge you
00:16:20.660 to support
00:16:21.200 Senator Blunt's amendment.
00:16:23.500 That matching funds
00:16:24.200 is pretty amazing
00:16:24.860 it's six to one
00:16:25.900 so it's six to one
00:16:27.440 of donations
00:16:28.180 under a certain
00:16:29.080 amount of money
00:16:29.540 so six to one
00:16:30.160 of small dollar donations.
00:16:31.700 Senator Cruz
00:16:32.180 did the math
00:16:32.860 yesterday
00:16:33.660 and it turns out
00:16:34.700 he would be
00:16:35.060 the number one
00:16:35.660 recipient in the Senate
00:16:37.060 or in that room rather
00:16:38.420 and he would receive
00:16:40.520 24 million dollars
00:16:41.520 from the government
00:16:42.100 but all these guys
00:16:43.660 would receive millions
00:16:44.580 and millions of dollars.
00:16:46.440 Does that seem
00:16:47.480 like the sort of law
00:16:48.480 that is above board?
00:16:51.020 A law where the senators
00:16:52.140 are legislating
00:16:52.980 that they get
00:16:53.580 millions and millions
00:16:55.020 of dollars
00:16:55.760 of your taxpayer money?
00:16:57.180 I don't think so.
00:16:58.000 He also went out
00:16:58.800 and called the bill
00:16:59.320 Jim Crow 2.0
00:17:00.420 and that's getting
00:17:00.860 a lot of play
00:17:01.580 because they're saying
00:17:02.540 they're looking at it
00:17:03.400 through a racial lens
00:17:04.300 but what was Jim Crow?
00:17:07.160 Yes, Jim Crow
00:17:07.920 had a racial component
00:17:09.040 obviously
00:17:09.580 but the purpose
00:17:10.660 of Jim Crow
00:17:11.160 was not just to be
00:17:11.940 a meanie to people
00:17:12.900 of a different race.
00:17:13.600 The purpose of Jim Crow
00:17:14.860 was to keep Democrats
00:17:16.620 in power.
00:17:18.720 Democrats are the party
00:17:19.700 of Jim Crow.
00:17:20.860 The point of it
00:17:21.440 was to make sure
00:17:22.240 that there was no threat
00:17:23.060 to democratic political rule
00:17:24.300 and that is the point
00:17:25.280 of the Corrupt Politicians Act
00:17:27.200 and one other way
00:17:29.140 they're doing it
00:17:29.540 it's not just that
00:17:30.080 they're taking money
00:17:30.820 it's not just that
00:17:32.020 they're from taxpayers
00:17:32.820 it's not just that
00:17:33.800 they're enfranchising people
00:17:34.860 who should not vote
00:17:35.700 it's not just that
00:17:36.500 they're taking away
00:17:37.120 voter ID measures
00:17:38.360 it's that they're also
00:17:40.340 registering millions
00:17:42.120 of illegal aliens
00:17:43.540 to vote
00:17:43.920 if this law passes
00:17:45.360 millions and millions
00:17:47.060 of illegal aliens
00:17:48.240 will be registered
00:17:49.460 to vote
00:17:49.960 and the Democrats
00:17:50.980 are going to tell you
00:17:51.800 that that is not the case
00:17:53.140 but there's a little
00:17:54.620 hidden provision
00:17:55.320 in that law
00:17:56.040 that proves
00:17:56.980 that that is exactly
00:17:57.920 what they're doing
00:17:58.480 and they know
00:17:59.120 that that's what they're doing.
00:17:59.940 I believe it is the intent
00:18:02.180 of this bill
00:18:03.000 to register to vote
00:18:04.420 millions of illegal aliens
00:18:06.060 for the purpose of
00:18:07.980 diluting the vote
00:18:09.160 of American citizens
00:18:10.280 and making it harder
00:18:11.480 for the people
00:18:12.920 to vote Democrats
00:18:14.080 out of office.
00:18:14.940 This bill right now
00:18:16.140 automatically registers
00:18:17.620 to vote anyone
00:18:18.840 who interacts
00:18:19.640 with the government.
00:18:20.860 So if you get
00:18:21.400 a welfare check
00:18:22.180 if you get
00:18:22.820 an unemployment check
00:18:23.880 if you get
00:18:24.740 a driver's license
00:18:25.720 you attend
00:18:26.640 a public college
00:18:27.360 or university
00:18:28.060 you're automatically
00:18:28.960 registered to vote.
00:18:30.820 Millions of illegal immigrants
00:18:32.380 fall into those categories.
00:18:34.320 If Democratic senators
00:18:35.340 vote as I think
00:18:36.340 most people expect
00:18:37.300 against this amendment
00:18:38.360 it makes clear
00:18:39.940 that their objective
00:18:40.840 is just what
00:18:41.540 any ordinary person
00:18:42.660 reading the bill
00:18:43.260 would think
00:18:43.640 their objective is
00:18:44.660 which is
00:18:45.520 to register millions
00:18:46.840 of illegal immigrants
00:18:47.820 to vote illegally
00:18:48.760 because they believe
00:18:50.180 it benefits them
00:18:51.280 in a political
00:18:52.100 and partisan manner.
00:18:53.440 It obviously
00:18:54.560 does benefit
00:18:55.360 the Democrats
00:18:56.000 in an illegal
00:18:56.640 and partisan manner
00:18:57.460 if illegal aliens
00:18:58.800 get registered to vote.
00:18:59.740 There are just a lot
00:19:00.280 of polls on this
00:19:01.100 that illegal aliens
00:19:03.840 and particularly
00:19:04.500 immigrants from
00:19:05.620 Latin America
00:19:06.400 vote overwhelmingly
00:19:07.840 and identify overwhelmingly
00:19:09.180 with the Democrats.
00:19:10.100 That's just the way it is.
00:19:11.060 I know Ronald Reagan
00:19:11.860 said that Hispanics
00:19:13.840 are Republicans
00:19:14.480 they just don't know it yet.
00:19:16.000 Well we're still waiting.
00:19:17.080 You know that was what
00:19:17.560 1982 that he said that
00:19:18.860 and we're still waiting on it.
00:19:20.340 It hasn't happened.
00:19:21.480 Democrats know this
00:19:22.280 and they're trying
00:19:22.660 to exploit this.
00:19:23.960 In the bill
00:19:24.880 the Democrats
00:19:27.700 would give amnesty
00:19:29.160 to illegal aliens
00:19:31.260 for voting.
00:19:33.300 So the illegal aliens
00:19:34.860 who do vote
00:19:35.640 would not be held
00:19:36.940 legally accountable
00:19:37.920 for voting illegally.
00:19:40.800 Which is an admission
00:19:41.980 that the law
00:19:43.040 will register to vote
00:19:44.160 millions of illegal aliens.
00:19:45.440 If the law is not going
00:19:46.300 to register millions
00:19:47.040 of illegal aliens
00:19:47.780 then good.
00:19:48.220 You don't need to worry
00:19:48.740 about giving them amnesty
00:19:49.620 when they vote.
00:19:51.420 But they know
00:19:52.500 what the effect
00:19:53.380 of this is going to be
00:19:54.160 and they don't want
00:19:54.640 to hold their own
00:19:55.460 illegal voters
00:19:56.260 accountable for doing
00:19:57.380 their bidding.
00:19:58.240 So they're going to
00:19:59.040 let them off the hook
00:19:59.960 as well.
00:20:01.540 And then finally
00:20:02.280 finally in our
00:20:03.760 fangirling here
00:20:05.000 of Ted Cruz.
00:20:06.460 I'm not
00:20:06.700 no one can ever tell him
00:20:08.740 that I was this nice
00:20:09.760 to him on the show.
00:20:10.920 But he did it.
00:20:11.760 He was so great yesterday.
00:20:13.040 He was like the only
00:20:13.960 senator actually
00:20:15.260 senatoring.
00:20:16.860 There's a lot of
00:20:18.000 senators go out there
00:20:18.980 and they what do they
00:20:19.580 shake hands
00:20:20.240 and they smile
00:20:20.940 and they pat people
00:20:21.500 on the back.
00:20:21.840 But Senator Cruz
00:20:22.900 was actually
00:20:23.500 senatoring yesterday
00:20:24.480 introducing lots
00:20:25.500 of amendments
00:20:25.920 knocking down
00:20:26.760 the arguments
00:20:27.260 in this bill
00:20:27.760 getting it all
00:20:28.480 out there in public
00:20:29.280 and he ripped up
00:20:31.280 the Democrats
00:20:31.980 ridiculous lie
00:20:34.080 that they're not
00:20:34.960 for defunding
00:20:35.700 the police.
00:20:36.400 You know you and I
00:20:37.120 are old enough
00:20:37.560 to remember
00:20:38.040 the past year
00:20:39.240 more than a year
00:20:39.920 when Democrats
00:20:40.680 have been shouting
00:20:41.340 from the rooftops
00:20:42.040 that they want
00:20:42.400 to defund the police.
00:20:43.620 Well now
00:20:44.080 they're trying
00:20:44.660 to run away
00:20:45.220 from that position
00:20:46.000 and because the
00:20:47.140 the left controls
00:20:48.000 the media
00:20:48.400 and controls
00:20:48.860 the institutions
00:20:50.420 of communication
00:20:51.040 and also now
00:20:51.820 controls the government
00:20:52.500 they think
00:20:53.440 that they're going
00:20:54.040 to be able
00:20:54.340 to get away
00:20:54.860 with it.
00:20:55.680 Cruz says
00:20:56.300 no.
00:20:58.000 Before you leave
00:20:59.060 Senator Cruz
00:20:59.980 I might just
00:21:00.600 take this occasion
00:21:01.360 to correct a couple
00:21:02.320 of the misrepresentations
00:21:03.600 in what you just said.
00:21:05.840 First of all
00:21:06.460 so far as I know
00:21:07.400 no member
00:21:08.080 of this committee
00:21:08.760 and members
00:21:11.960 of the Senate
00:21:12.980 on this side
00:21:14.220 of the aisle
00:21:14.640 are in favor
00:21:15.440 of defunding
00:21:17.080 the police
00:21:17.800 that is
00:21:18.260 a massive
00:21:19.240 distortion.
00:21:20.700 You just said
00:21:21.120 a moment ago
00:21:21.780 that no Democrat
00:21:23.240 favors abolishing
00:21:24.440 the police.
00:21:25.880 If that were
00:21:26.800 the case
00:21:27.400 why did every
00:21:28.340 single Democrat
00:21:29.080 vote to confirm
00:21:30.160 Vanita Gupta
00:21:30.940 a nominee
00:21:32.060 for the number
00:21:32.620 three position
00:21:33.260 at the Department
00:21:33.800 of Justice
00:21:34.320 who said
00:21:34.980 last year
00:21:35.920 in writing
00:21:36.860 in written testimony
00:21:38.480 before this Senate
00:21:39.460 advocated abolishing
00:21:41.400 the police
00:21:41.820 and she was
00:21:42.240 confirmed by one vote
00:21:43.180 every single Democrat
00:21:44.440 was the necessary vote
00:21:45.920 to confirm
00:21:46.980 a radical
00:21:47.820 who advocated
00:21:49.200 abolishing the police
00:21:50.280 and just this week
00:21:52.040 we're taking up
00:21:52.800 Kristen Clark
00:21:53.460 another radical
00:21:54.340 who has
00:21:55.420 last year
00:21:56.860 in testimony
00:21:57.540 before the Senate
00:21:58.400 advocated abolishing
00:21:59.560 the police.
00:22:00.120 If you don't support
00:22:01.060 abolishing the police
00:22:02.620 why do you keep
00:22:03.300 voting for nominees
00:22:04.160 who advocate
00:22:05.180 abolishing the police?
00:22:06.660 So totally knocks it out.
00:22:08.220 I mean you'd also
00:22:08.900 just have to play clips
00:22:10.140 of every
00:22:12.140 virtually every
00:22:13.100 prominent Democrat
00:22:13.820 politician
00:22:14.460 either
00:22:15.520 implying that they
00:22:17.200 would go along
00:22:18.160 with this
00:22:18.420 defund the police
00:22:19.140 nonsense
00:22:19.460 or that they
00:22:20.160 actually want
00:22:20.980 to defund the police
00:22:21.740 and why do the
00:22:22.420 Democrats want
00:22:23.000 to defund the police?
00:22:25.240 Rather why do
00:22:26.040 the leftist activists
00:22:27.120 want to defund the police?
00:22:28.260 Because the police
00:22:28.740 are the physical
00:22:29.240 representation of
00:22:30.160 our system of justice
00:22:31.080 here and the left
00:22:32.400 wants to totally
00:22:33.300 upend our system
00:22:34.200 of justice.
00:22:34.700 They want to
00:22:34.940 totally revolutionize it
00:22:36.040 so that they can
00:22:37.480 implement their own
00:22:38.780 perverse standards.
00:22:40.040 A process that I
00:22:40.980 described at length
00:22:41.780 in my upcoming book
00:22:42.460 Speechless,
00:22:42.860 Controlling Words,
00:22:43.900 Controlling Minds
00:22:44.420 which is available
00:22:44.980 now for pre-order.
00:22:45.820 Pre-order is doing
00:22:46.320 great so you can
00:22:47.140 pre-order it on
00:22:47.720 Amazon but you can
00:22:48.820 also pre-order a
00:22:49.760 signed first edition
00:22:50.860 copy.
00:22:51.240 The book is at the
00:22:51.900 printer now.
00:22:52.800 It is out of my
00:22:53.420 hands.
00:22:53.860 No more edits will
00:22:54.680 be made and it
00:22:55.760 will be in your
00:22:56.340 hands very soon but
00:22:57.200 only if you pre-order.
00:22:59.840 The defund the police
00:23:02.160 line has gained a lot
00:23:04.840 of traction.
00:23:07.000 You've got to give
00:23:07.860 Colin Kaepernick
00:23:08.560 credit.
00:23:08.900 You do because
00:23:10.900 what started with
00:23:13.140 some jerk
00:23:14.880 football player
00:23:16.760 disrespecting our
00:23:18.100 country and
00:23:18.660 disrespecting the
00:23:19.380 flag is now
00:23:21.440 ending up in
00:23:22.940 legislation.
00:23:24.500 It's ending up
00:23:24.980 being parroted by
00:23:25.720 very prominent
00:23:26.420 politicians even if
00:23:27.460 at this moment they
00:23:28.540 want to run away
00:23:29.100 from it because crime
00:23:29.920 is spiking.
00:23:31.340 This has become
00:23:32.560 mainstream.
00:23:34.020 The calls to
00:23:34.820 defund the police
00:23:35.460 have become
00:23:35.800 mainstream and a
00:23:37.260 lot of it goes
00:23:37.680 back to Colin
00:23:38.320 Kaepernick taking
00:23:39.160 that knee
00:23:39.700 disrespecting the
00:23:40.640 star-spangled banner.
00:23:42.020 Well Colin Kaepernick
00:23:42.900 is back in the news
00:23:43.680 because of what we
00:23:46.520 are told is a grave
00:23:47.820 injustice.
00:23:49.620 Tim Tebow a
00:23:51.640 football player
00:23:53.060 former football
00:23:54.080 player former and
00:23:54.800 future football
00:23:55.360 player is back in
00:23:56.880 the NFL after many
00:23:58.940 years away but
00:24:00.440 Colin Kaepernick just
00:24:02.380 can't catch a break.
00:24:03.600 He's being
00:24:03.960 persecuted for his
00:24:05.840 skin color.
00:24:06.720 He's being
00:24:07.100 persecuted for
00:24:08.880 the systemic
00:24:10.660 historical oppression.
00:24:11.920 He's being
00:24:12.180 he's actually being
00:24:12.900 persecuted because
00:24:13.520 he's a big jerk and
00:24:14.420 people don't like him
00:24:15.120 very much because he
00:24:16.080 says things that are
00:24:17.060 very offensive and
00:24:18.700 wrong.
00:24:21.400 But this this story I
00:24:23.180 think shows you the
00:24:24.640 Tebow Colin Kaepernick
00:24:26.160 issue shows you the
00:24:27.560 big divide in America
00:24:28.600 and why we're really
00:24:29.360 talking past one
00:24:30.440 another and why
00:24:31.560 there's there's
00:24:32.340 unfortunately very
00:24:33.960 little hope of
00:24:34.880 coming together until
00:24:35.980 we can all get on the
00:24:36.780 same page about what
00:24:37.680 we even believe in
00:24:38.860 this world about our
00:24:39.540 place in this world and
00:24:40.700 our place in this
00:24:41.320 country and who we are
00:24:42.560 ourselves.
00:24:43.140 With 20 years reporting on
00:24:44.560 the markets I know that
00:24:45.600 some industries are built
00:24:46.680 to last but others are
00:24:48.060 built to lead.
00:24:49.200 John Ollickman here.
00:24:50.120 If you want exposure to
00:24:51.060 what's really shaping our
00:24:52.260 world think beyond
00:24:53.440 trends.
00:24:54.420 Think defense,
00:24:55.300 healthcare,
00:24:56.000 telecom,
00:24:56.660 real estate,
00:24:57.320 gold,
00:24:57.880 crypto.
00:24:58.480 They're not just
00:24:58.920 headlines they're
00:24:59.800 foundations and with

00:25:21.220 Ben is going to be
00:25:22.280 talking about how Joe
00:25:23.160 Biden is Jimmy Carter's
00:25:25.360 revenge.
00:25:26.240 He is.
00:25:27.080 It is weird.
00:25:27.880 We got the gas shortages.
00:25:29.120 We got problems in the
00:25:29.860 Middle East.
00:25:30.700 So you can go check that
00:25:31.400 out on Ben's show.
00:25:32.820 Also you may have
00:25:33.680 noticed that today our
00:25:36.180 country is feeling less
00:25:37.360 free.
00:25:38.680 There's lockdowns.
00:25:39.800 There's cancel culture.
00:25:40.820 There's all this kind of
00:25:41.620 stuff.
00:25:41.980 Well I'm not the only one
00:25:43.280 with a book out.
00:25:44.580 Ben also has a book
00:25:45.380 coming out not so long
00:25:47.160 after my book.
00:25:47.880 So go check that out.
00:25:48.520 The book is called The
00:25:49.000 Authoritarian Moment.
00:25:50.100 That's actually going to be
00:25:50.600 my campaign slogan when I
00:25:51.760 run.
00:25:52.300 Knowles 2024 The
00:25:53.440 Authoritarian Moment.
00:25:54.540 Go check out Ben's book
00:25:55.700 as well.
00:25:56.300 We'll be right back with a
00:25:57.100 lot more.
00:26:08.240 Tim Tebow gets to play in
00:26:11.500 the NFL again.
00:26:12.960 Colin Kaepernick does not.
00:26:15.620 Tim Tebow is signed now
00:26:17.440 with the Jaguars after
00:26:18.520 being away from the NFL.
00:26:19.920 I guess he's been away
00:26:21.040 from playing in the
00:26:22.400 regular season for nine
00:26:23.860 years now but he was
00:26:25.100 briefly back in the NFL
00:26:26.500 or something six years
00:26:27.660 ago.
00:26:28.160 I don't know.
00:26:28.540 You can tell I'm not the
00:26:29.220 biggest football fan which
00:26:30.900 I think perhaps gives me a
00:26:32.000 little more perspective on
00:26:32.920 this thing because there's
00:26:35.820 an image that's going
00:26:36.540 around the internet.
00:26:37.200 It's Colin Kaepernick
00:26:38.240 taking a knee and it's
00:26:39.940 Tim Tebow taking a knee.
00:26:41.300 They both did the same
00:26:42.740 thing on the field.
00:26:45.040 So how come one of them
00:26:46.660 gets to play again and one
00:26:47.900 of them is not in the
00:26:48.820 NFL?
00:26:50.100 Well people will argue
00:26:50.980 well Kaepernick's not that
00:26:52.000 good at QB and then people
00:26:53.680 will argue Tim Tebow is not
00:26:54.980 that good but actually Tim
00:26:55.800 Tebow is going to play
00:26:56.380 a different position now
00:26:58.040 and maybe Colin Kaepernick
00:26:59.040 couldn't do that.
00:27:00.320 The left is arguing that
00:27:02.740 Tebow and Kaepernick are
00:27:05.020 doing the same thing.
00:27:05.720 They're both taking a knee
00:27:06.580 on the field and the
00:27:07.180 only reason that Kaepernick
00:27:08.320 is not allowed back in is
00:27:10.240 because he's black and
00:27:11.700 Tebow's white.
00:27:13.980 The right is pointing out
00:27:15.380 that yes physically Tebow
00:27:18.600 and Kaepernick do the same
00:27:19.860 thing on the field but the
00:27:22.320 meaning of what they're
00:27:23.120 doing is totally different.
00:27:25.200 Tim Tebow is taking a knee
00:27:26.940 in gratitude to God.
00:27:28.960 That is that and it's this
00:27:30.540 is not ambiguous.
00:27:31.340 He's been very open about
00:27:32.280 this.
00:27:32.420 That is the meaning of his of
00:27:35.400 this symbol of what he's
00:27:36.420 doing.
00:27:37.320 Kaepernick is taking a knee to
00:27:39.000 disrespect the star spangled
00:27:41.360 banner which is the flag which
00:27:43.700 is the symbol of the whole
00:27:44.700 country and he pretended for a
00:27:46.380 little bit that he was just
00:27:47.180 protesting police brutality or
00:27:48.720 whatever that is.
00:27:49.880 But he's not because then when
00:27:51.860 he became the face of Nike
00:27:53.280 sneakers he was able to nix a
00:27:55.680 product that was going to come
00:27:56.780 out with the Betsy Ross flag.
00:27:57.940 So not just the current
00:27:59.460 American flag but the
00:28:00.440 revolutionary American flag.
00:28:02.220 I don't think police brutality
00:28:03.820 was a big issue in 1776 but
00:28:06.580 obviously the object of Colin
00:28:08.540 Kaepernick's protest is not
00:28:09.800 just the cops you know they
00:28:11.500 beat up what was that guy's
00:28:13.180 name Rodney King 30 years ago.
00:28:14.860 It's not just that.
00:28:16.760 It's he's protesting the cops as
00:28:19.480 a symbol of the justice system
00:28:20.640 as a symbol of the country and
00:28:22.340 his real issues with the
00:28:23.500 country which he says is
00:28:24.300 systemically racist and
00:28:26.320 intrinsically unjust.
00:28:27.940 And that's why he wants a
00:28:29.380 revolution.
00:28:31.500 People like the guy who's
00:28:33.740 humble and respectful and
00:28:35.320 gives thanks to God.
00:28:36.460 People don't like the jerk
00:28:38.000 spoiled brat pinko who hates
00:28:41.860 his own country and and
00:28:44.400 therefore his countrymen.
00:28:46.160 This is not complicated.
00:28:48.160 These are totally different
00:28:49.100 things.
00:28:49.920 But in the left's confusion
00:28:52.280 over what this symbol means
00:28:53.460 you see the source of so much
00:28:55.280 of their confusion.
00:28:56.240 What the left is seeing here is
00:28:57.720 only the physical.
00:28:59.520 The left thinks that the
00:29:00.820 physical predominates
00:29:02.000 everything.
00:29:02.940 So it's skin color most
00:29:04.300 notably right skin color is
00:29:05.600 the reason that it's how we
00:29:08.340 can explain everything in the
00:29:09.840 entire world.
00:29:10.400 It's just based on skin color
00:29:11.340 and white supremacy or sex.
00:29:14.380 You know women are oppressed
00:29:15.520 because of their physicality
00:29:17.160 because of their bodies or the
00:29:19.300 transgender issue which is
00:29:20.700 that the physical is so
00:29:22.240 important that even if someone
00:29:24.740 believes on the deep
00:29:25.760 metaphysical level that they're
00:29:27.640 a woman and they think that
00:29:29.120 their their real body has no
00:29:31.100 nothing to do with who they
00:29:32.140 really are right.
00:29:33.200 So in that sense you have the
00:29:33.880 denial of the physical but you
00:29:35.940 you actually can become the
00:29:37.680 other sex just by mutilating
00:29:39.420 yourself and getting some
00:29:40.220 surgeries or putting on a dress
00:29:41.320 or some lipstick and stilettos.
00:29:42.920 That if you if you do change the
00:29:45.820 physical then there is no
00:29:46.680 question that that is who you
00:29:49.900 really are.
00:29:51.520 And you see that all this
00:29:53.040 physical stuff in Kaepernick but
00:29:55.020 you see the metaphysical you see
00:29:56.420 the spiritual in Tebow where he's
00:29:57.780 down there and he's thanking God.
00:30:00.900 He's that this is a spiritual turn
00:30:03.180 that has a physical representation.
00:30:05.720 If we want to destroy our country
00:30:07.860 we can only focus on skin color
00:30:12.560 and sex and resentment and pride
00:30:15.240 the deadly sins vices and the
00:30:20.160 physical world to the exclusion of
00:30:21.480 the spiritual.
00:30:22.060 If we want to have a country we can
00:30:24.500 get rid of the resentment we can
00:30:27.180 get rid of the pride and we can
00:30:28.480 embrace humility and gratitude
00:30:30.300 gratitude to God ultimately but
00:30:32.340 gratitude to our forefathers who
00:30:34.560 gave us this country gratitude to
00:30:35.940 the country itself gratitude to our
00:30:37.280 countrymen whom we live with.
00:30:39.600 That's the way forward and that's
00:30:41.120 that's why people like Tebow
00:30:42.640 enough to put him back in the NFL
00:30:44.000 and even though I have no
00:30:45.640 intention of ever watching him
00:30:46.600 play I am pleased to see that
00:30:49.060 there's people are at least
00:30:50.580 keeping that little bit of
00:30:52.060 common sense.
00:30:54.980 Speaking of being out of a job
00:30:56.320 Liz Cheney is about to lose her
00:30:58.360 job.
00:30:59.260 Liz Cheney is now going to be
00:31:00.660 recalled as the leader of the
00:31:02.720 House Republican Conference so it's
00:31:04.260 not the top position in House
00:31:05.440 leadership in the GOP but it's
00:31:07.220 that's still leadership and
00:31:08.840 finally the actual Republican
00:31:10.420 leader Kevin McCarthy has pulled
00:31:12.380 his support from her she's about to
00:31:14.040 get recalled and so she took to the
00:31:16.100 floor to whine about it.
00:31:18.340 Today we face a threat America has
00:31:20.780 never seen before.
00:31:22.500 A former president who provoked a
00:31:25.240 violent attack on this capital in an
00:31:28.080 effort to steal the election has
00:31:30.360 resumed his aggressive effort to
00:31:32.480 convince Americans that the election
00:31:34.440 was stolen from him.
00:31:36.320 He risks inciting further violence.
00:31:39.040 I am a conservative Republican and
00:31:41.840 the most conservative of conservative
00:31:43.960 principles is reverence for the rule
00:31:46.680 of law.
00:31:47.580 The election is over.
00:31:49.860 That is the rule of law.
00:31:52.060 That is our constitutional process.
00:31:54.860 This is not about policy.
00:31:56.860 This is not about partisanship.
00:31:58.500 This is about our duty as Americans.
00:32:02.320 Remaining silent and ignoring the lie
00:32:05.380 emboldens the liar.
00:32:07.520 I will not participate in that.
00:32:10.120 I will not sit back and watch in silence
00:32:13.000 while others lead our party down a path
00:32:15.900 that abandons the rule of law and joins the
00:32:18.880 former president's crusade to undermine our
00:32:21.780 democracy.
00:32:23.320 Saint Liz making her final stand
00:32:26.140 beginning with a lie.
00:32:27.800 She's saying that President Trump incited
00:32:29.760 a violent insurrection.
00:32:32.020 You can play the clips from the day.
00:32:34.000 President Trump very clear.
00:32:35.120 Be peaceful.
00:32:35.900 Be peaceful.
00:32:36.660 Don't be violent.
00:32:37.580 Be peaceful.
00:32:38.440 As for the insurrection, what did the
00:32:39.960 insurrection amount to?
00:32:41.100 It killed Capitol Police officers.
00:32:42.840 No, it didn't.
00:32:44.140 It didn't.
00:32:44.580 That was a lie.
00:32:45.280 That was a lie pushed by the
00:32:46.320 mainstream media.
00:32:47.340 Well, people did die that day.
00:32:48.780 That's true.
00:32:49.260 One of the Trump supporters died.
00:32:50.520 Was killed by Capitol Police.
00:32:51.780 That's it.
00:32:52.520 That's who died in the political violence.
00:32:54.460 Well, they almost took over the government.
00:32:56.900 No, they didn't.
00:32:57.560 They didn't almost take over the government.
00:32:59.500 Some guy stole Pelosi's podium and another
00:33:01.760 guy in a horn helmet danced around on a
00:33:03.480 desk.
00:33:04.680 But there was never any moment at which the
00:33:09.340 government was almost taken over.
00:33:10.740 Am I saying that it's good to go and
00:33:12.540 riot in the Capitol?
00:33:13.320 No.
00:33:13.840 People should be held responsible, of
00:33:15.340 course.
00:33:16.760 But Liz Cheney's claim here, this, we've
00:33:18.840 never seen anything like this.
00:33:20.260 The violent insurrection is just so disingenuous.
00:33:26.040 It's so, I don't even want to accuse her of being
00:33:27.960 disingenuous here.
00:33:28.800 Maybe she's just totally ignorant, but it's just
00:33:30.600 wrong.
00:33:31.620 Leftists burned the country to the ground for eight
00:33:33.640 months in 2020.
00:33:34.740 They burned down government buildings, threatening the
00:33:37.340 rule of law.
00:33:38.200 They're openly calling to defund the police and abolish
00:33:41.100 the police, threatening the rule of law.
00:33:43.040 They burned down private businesses.
00:33:44.680 They threatened individuals.
00:33:45.680 You've got Joe Biden and Maxine Waters putting their thumb on
00:33:50.440 the scales of justice, threatening the judiciary.
00:33:53.580 Maxine Waters threatening more riots.
00:33:55.500 If, if the judiciary doesn't give these, the mob what the
00:33:58.100 mob wants, I just don't want to hear it.
00:34:00.760 I did so preposterous.
00:34:03.160 And Liz Cheney saying, I'm a conservative, I'm a conservative
00:34:06.540 conservative.
00:34:07.020 I'm the most conservative of conservative, conservative
00:34:09.640 Republicans.
00:34:10.820 And yet, I, I didn't vote for the Republican president.
00:34:15.420 I tried to impeach him a couple of times.
00:34:16.980 Probably didn't vote for him the first time either.
00:34:18.540 And I, I pretty much only talked to left-wing news outlets and I
00:34:22.020 back up left-wing talking points and I constantly throw my own party
00:34:24.980 under the bus.
00:34:25.400 But I'm very conservative, don't you see?
00:34:28.720 I think the final nail in Liz's political coffin, she just won a
00:34:34.440 not-so-coveted endorsement.
00:34:36.640 She got the endorsement of, I kid you not, OJ Simpson.
00:34:41.300 Now, there's a clip.
00:34:42.420 OJ Simpson has actually a very funny Twitter feed where he posts
00:34:45.500 videos of himself.
00:34:46.560 I'm not going to play it.
00:34:48.320 And the reason that I'm not going to play OJ Simpson's commentary
00:34:50.820 on my show is that OJ Simpson is a double murderer who got away
00:34:54.540 with his crime and I just can't bring myself to, to give this guy
00:34:58.400 airtime and, and listen to him and look at him on TV.
00:35:01.600 However, it is a telling circumstance that OJ Simpson is endorsing
00:35:07.560 Liz Cheney here.
00:35:08.240 The rule of law.
00:35:09.740 Liz Cheney standing up for the rule of law and, and defended by, um,
00:35:13.500 oh, the most infamous murderer alive in our country right now.
00:35:16.420 Yes, the rule of law.
00:35:17.740 He endorsed Cheney.
00:35:18.900 He said, it seems that the big truth and honesty seems to be the
00:35:24.340 enemy of many of these Republican politicians.
00:35:27.080 And Liz Cheney stands up for the truth.
00:35:29.100 That's got her a lot of heat.
00:35:30.640 She may lose her position in the party.
00:35:32.160 She may even lose her career as a politician, but that is something
00:35:34.640 to be admired.
00:35:36.040 Standing up for the truth.
00:35:37.120 That's something I know her father wouldn't have done.
00:35:39.280 So he doesn't, OJ doesn't like Dick Cheney.
00:35:42.460 Uh, but right now I'm kind of a fan of Liz Cheney.
00:35:45.780 This, this liberal talking point that you're hearing repeated,
00:35:49.280 not just by double murderers such as OJ Simpson, but you're hearing it
00:35:52.540 from all the left-wing talking heads and you're hearing it from Liz Cheney
00:35:55.380 herself is so grating.
00:35:59.560 I can't, I hate it.
00:36:00.860 I hate it.
00:36:01.720 Which is that Liz Cheney and the Lincoln project and George Bush,
00:36:08.420 that's true conservatism.
00:36:11.240 You hear this people who come generally speaking from the liberal wing of the
00:36:15.560 Republican party, that they're the true conservatives.
00:36:17.860 I once had a waiter friend of mine who we were pals, but he was extremely left
00:36:23.220 wing and would get very fired up.
00:36:24.960 And he went, he was very angry with me for supporting Trump.
00:36:27.180 And he said, no, Michael, look, I support true conservatism.
00:36:30.240 You know, guys like John McCain, let me tell you about true conservatism.
00:36:34.500 And what it means to them, true conservatism for these people is basically just
00:36:40.900 refers to feckless and basically liberal people.
00:36:43.380 And the way that they express themselves is that you'll hear it all the time from
00:36:48.240 concerned trolls on the left who will say, look, I, I really want there to be a
00:36:54.120 strong Republican party.
00:36:55.340 Look, I, I actually, look, I don't agree.
00:36:57.640 Okay.
00:36:57.920 I'm not saying I'm a conservative.
00:36:59.040 I don't agree, but I think it's very healthy for our country to have a strong
00:37:04.360 conservative movement, but just not any of the guys who are effective.
00:37:08.980 Yeah, no, but you know, Trump or Reagan, well, now they like Reagan because Reagan's
00:37:14.720 dead.
00:37:14.980 But when Reagan was around, they called him a Nazi and a white supremacist and all this
00:37:18.380 stuff that they called Trump.
00:37:19.400 You know, look, I, I support, I want, no, you don't want there to be a strong conservative
00:37:24.320 movement.
00:37:24.680 You don't want there to be a strong Republican party because you think they're wrong and
00:37:27.880 you want to beat them.
00:37:28.560 And that's fine.
00:37:29.740 We do this on, on the right too.
00:37:32.300 We will, we will do this.
00:37:33.020 We'll say, look, I think there should be a strong liberal, liberal faction in this, in this
00:37:37.700 country, but what the left is doing right now, that's not liberal.
00:37:40.680 We do it all the time.
00:37:41.340 You know, the, the libs say that's not true conservatism.
00:37:45.320 And then the conservatives say that's not true liberalism, but how about we stop pretending
00:37:50.200 that we are the experts on our opponent's ideology and philosophy?
00:37:54.320 How about we do that?
00:37:56.120 This talk, you hear this talking point from a lot of people on the right.
00:37:58.680 And I think it's kind of disingenuous.
00:38:00.180 The idea of the, the left there, they betrayed liberalism.
00:38:03.460 They're actually, we're the real liberals and we're the real conservatives and all the
00:38:06.720 good stuff that anyone ever likes.
00:38:07.860 Well, that's us and all the bad stuff.
00:38:09.340 That's the other guy.
00:38:09.940 No, I, I think that there's a strong argument to be made that the hard left is following
00:38:15.440 liberalism to its logical conclusion.
00:38:17.460 Maybe there were some perversions along the way and that's fine.
00:38:19.680 That's an interesting conversation, but they're, they're liberals, they're libs, they're,
00:38:26.760 they're leftists, we're conservatives.
00:38:28.400 They don't get to define what conservatism is because they don't have our best interests
00:38:31.340 at heart and they don't really know what they're talking about.
00:38:33.180 And frankly, the same can be said of the other side too.
00:38:35.080 I actually go into this argument at, at pretty great length in my upcoming book, Speechless,
00:38:38.500 Controlling Words, Controlling Minds, which is available now, by the way, for, for pre-order.
00:38:43.460 Real conservatism.
00:38:46.600 I was, I was just watching The View.
00:38:48.140 I wasn't really watching The View, but I was watching a clip from The View and, and Megan
00:38:51.920 McCain was interviewing Stacey Abrams and she showed us, Stacey Abrams did, actually Megan
00:38:58.000 a little bit too, but Stacey Abrams showed us what real liberalism looks like.
00:39:02.600 U.S. economy only added 266,000 jobs last month, which was far less than the more than
00:39:09.380 one million that was expected.
00:39:10.940 It was so bad that there were reporters on air that had to double check the number to
00:39:14.820 make sure they had actually read it correctly.
00:39:16.580 Not to mention that the fact that all of the jobs went to men.
00:39:20.020 Is this a clear indication that throwing money at this problem isn't working?
00:39:23.740 Actually, I would say a different way.
00:39:26.800 We know this is a complicated challenge, a pandemic that's affected the economy for women
00:39:31.680 in devastating ways.
00:39:33.640 And the notion that recovery would happen overnight is just, it's unfounded.
00:39:38.420 Instead, what we're seeing are the combination of being able to survive the pandemic and start
00:39:43.000 to build towards recovery.
00:39:44.080 And I think that's why the American Jobs Plan and the American Families Plan are both so incredibly
00:39:48.820 important because it recognizes that the economy of care, which employs so many women, has got
00:39:54.420 to be seen as an essential part of how we rebuild our economy and that it is insufficient
00:39:58.580 for us to simply focus on the more traditional masculine areas of the economy, recognizing that we
00:40:04.840 have to have women in every area, but that in particular women have been hardest hit and
00:40:09.140 therefore we need intentional engagement and intervention to rebuild it back more solidly.
00:40:13.400 This is real radicalism.
00:40:16.920 Notice what she says, the traditionally masculine areas of the economy.
00:40:21.960 So I guess not childbirth, not tending a home, not raising a family.
00:40:27.280 We're not focusing on that, right?
00:40:28.660 No, that's not what Stacey means.
00:40:29.820 Stacey says we need women in every single segment of the economy.
00:40:34.140 We need women, firefighters.
00:40:36.660 We need women, special forces.
00:40:38.760 We need women all throughout the entire economy.
00:40:44.560 Do you really believe that?
00:40:46.760 Notice even Megan is accepting the liberal premise here, even in the question.
00:40:52.300 I'm sure a lot of conservatives would do it, but Megan is showing it here.
00:40:55.280 She goes, this is outrageous.
00:40:56.580 There aren't a lot of jobs and all the jobs are going to men.
00:40:59.800 So here's a, here's a real conservative point.
00:41:02.040 What if women don't need to work in the same way that men need to work?
00:41:09.080 What if men and women's relation to the economy and to society and to the family and to themselves
00:41:13.880 is different?
00:41:16.380 You're not really allowed to say that.
00:41:20.640 Megan McCain asks this question of Stacey Abrams.
00:41:25.720 Why is it, you know, how do we fix this economy where all the jobs are going to men?
00:41:29.960 Now you'll hear a lot of conservatives, actually you heard Trump do this.
00:41:32.900 Trump would say, look, we're so happy.
00:41:35.600 Black unemployment is at all time lows.
00:41:37.140 You say, that's awesome.
00:41:38.080 And Hispanic unemployment is at all time lows.
00:41:40.040 Oh, great.
00:41:40.460 That's cool.
00:41:41.060 And women's unemployment is at all time lows.
00:41:43.000 And you say, wait, hold on a second.
00:41:44.360 First of all, women have always been employed.
00:41:46.840 Women have always done a lot of things.
00:41:48.120 Raising a family is actually harder work than what men do.
00:41:51.020 It's different.
00:41:51.640 And I don't mean to diminish what we men do.
00:41:53.960 Look, I go out to the salt mines every day and I talk about politics and own the lips.
00:41:58.840 I'm not diminishing the value of that work, but I am just saying, I've seen sweet little
00:42:02.400 Elisa do it.
00:42:03.240 The woman hasn't slept in four months because she's up feeding the child and we've only got
00:42:06.800 one so far.
00:42:07.620 Imagine when you've got multiple kids.
00:42:09.000 Imagine when you're tending a home.
00:42:10.160 Imagine when you're doing all that sort of stuff in the home economy to say nothing of
00:42:14.380 what one does outside into the community more broadly.
00:42:16.820 And that's even without taking into consideration formal employment in a job.
00:42:23.280 Do we really believe as conservatives that, that women should need to work outside the home,
00:42:28.480 that they need to, that it's, that it's a positive good and it's bad if they're not
00:42:31.360 working outside the home?
00:42:32.340 I don't believe that.
00:42:34.420 For goodness sakes, Betty Friedan, one of the most famous feminists in American history,
00:42:38.680 didn't even believe that.
00:42:40.140 There's a very famous exchange where Betty Friedan was talking with Simone de Beauvoir,
00:42:44.120 both very prominent feminists.
00:42:46.160 Beauvoir, I guess, a little more radical than Friedan.
00:42:49.420 And Friedan said, look, if women want to work outside the home, that's fine.
00:42:52.240 But if they want to stay in the home, that's fine too.
00:42:53.660 And Beauvoir said, nope, no way.
00:42:56.780 Can't, you can't give them that choice because if women have that choice, they'll stay home.
00:43:02.520 They'll want to stay home.
00:43:03.240 They'll want to, I can't tell you how many letters I get to this show in the mailbag
00:43:06.160 saying, hey, Michael, I'm in my third master's degree or whatever.
00:43:09.480 And I'm, you know, I've got to go get this job.
00:43:12.080 And my boyfriend, you know, he might move, but should I follow him?
00:43:15.260 I really just want to raise a family and get married.
00:43:17.260 But my whole society is telling me I've got to go work for some other guy at the widget
00:43:20.560 factory in middle management until I'm 40.
00:43:22.500 And then maybe I can have a kid.
00:43:23.720 And you just think, stop listening to these idiots in the popular culture and in, in the
00:43:30.060 academy and who are cultural revolutionaries who are trying to ruin your life.
00:43:34.700 Don't do it.
00:43:35.940 It's perfectly natural.
00:43:37.040 If you want to stay home, raise a family, have children, tend to home.
00:43:40.680 That's good.
00:43:41.420 It's a good thing.
00:43:43.220 Imagine sweet little Elise has been gone for the past few days.
00:43:45.620 I'm living in squalor.
00:43:47.400 I'm living like a pig in slop right now in my home because, because men and women are
00:43:53.800 different.
00:43:54.140 All right.
00:43:54.460 Enough of that.
00:43:55.280 Speaking of women who are excellent, not just, you know, not, not just in the terms of the
00:44:01.900 natural feminine, you know, virtues and women who, a woman who works from her home, but also
00:44:07.680 a woman who has a lot of political power.
00:44:10.180 The queen of England, queen of England read the queen's speech yesterday.
00:44:14.040 And she really, I think, upset the libs because she sort of came out in support of voter ID.
00:44:23.980 Legislation will be introduced to ensure the integrity of elections.
00:44:29.200 My ministers will promote the strength and integrity of the union.
00:44:33.940 Okay.
00:44:34.520 So she's reading, the thing is, she's not just reading her own words as though this were some
00:44:38.740 creed de cour that we need voter ID.
00:44:40.040 She's reading the policies of the conservative, relatively conservative government that that's
00:44:44.660 there.
00:44:44.940 But of course, it's common sense.
00:44:45.980 Everyone supports voter ID.
00:44:47.160 Majorities of every demographic support voter ID.
00:44:49.300 But the libs want to tell you it's Jim Crow 2.0, completely ridiculous.
00:44:53.040 And then when they can't defend that assertion, they'll go out and say that conservatives, they're
00:44:57.300 not just racist, bigot, terrible people.
00:44:59.600 They're traitors.
00:45:01.000 President Biden said there's a mini revolution going on in the Republican.
00:45:03.940 I mean, it's a mini civil war going on in the Republican party.
00:45:06.560 Chuck, the civil war is over and the conservatives have lost and they've lost it.
00:45:11.080 They've lost a tribalist and they've lost a tribalist who want to promote a big lie.
00:45:14.920 So what?
00:45:15.440 And so we got to break down.
00:45:17.060 What is the big lie?
00:45:18.040 Because we talk about the big lie all the time.
00:45:19.500 But what is fundamentally the big lie?
00:45:20.900 The big lie is promoting something that undermines democracy, that actually says that the will
00:45:26.860 of the American people is is sort of throughout the will of the American people and is fomenting
00:45:31.880 sort of, you know, attacks on our government.
00:45:34.360 Right now, we're at sort of national, our greatest national security threats are actually
00:45:38.020 from this, this fomenting of these lies.
00:45:41.160 So there becomes something, there's something bigger at stake here than just just partisanship.
00:45:45.900 You know, with all this talk about civil war, I think back, you know, Ulysses S.
00:45:49.640 Grant at the start of the civil war said there are but two parties now, traitors and patriots.
00:45:54.080 I'm afraid, Chuck, that we're increasingly coming back to that time.
00:45:58.180 I fear, Cornell, that myself.
00:46:01.500 So ridiculous.
00:46:03.100 If you didn't see this clip, the man who is speaking for most of that is a grown man wearing
00:46:07.940 a pinstripe suit with peak collar and a purple shirt with a white collar and a very loud
00:46:12.580 tie.
00:46:13.720 And he's asking to be taken seriously on a news program.
00:46:16.540 And he is being taken seriously by Chuck Todd on NBC when he says that the GOP, they're
00:46:21.220 the party of traitors because of the big lie and the will of the people.
00:46:24.040 All I will say on this is obviously, look, the election is what the election is.
00:46:27.660 Joe Biden is the president of the United States.
00:46:29.280 There's no denying that.
00:46:32.400 For Republicans who have concerns about voter integrity, it is not unreasonable to have
00:46:39.540 questions about a process that involved the upending of major election integrity laws that
00:46:46.820 involved the expansion of things like drop boxes or even election day itself that did not
00:46:53.560 have the traditional safeguards.
00:46:55.840 And that in some cases, in the case of Pennsylvania notably, involved violating the state constitution
00:47:01.060 on, on election law.
00:47:03.100 It's not unreasonable to have questions about that.
00:47:04.900 You're not a traitor if you have questions about that.
00:47:07.180 If anything, the people who, who keep pushing the big lie of the big lie or whatever, you
00:47:11.300 know, the lie of the big lie and the Nazis and the traitors and, you know, all this kind
00:47:14.340 of ridiculous rhetoric from the left.
00:47:15.860 If anything, their insane protestations of this make me very skeptical that, that they're,
00:47:24.360 they're particularly concerned about our democracy and voter ID and anything like that.
00:47:30.000 The erosion of faith in our institutions is what is at the heart of this.
00:47:34.600 This is why people keep questioning the elections.
00:47:36.680 This is not something that Republicans started.
00:47:38.440 This has been going on for a long time.
00:47:40.100 Don't forget the Republican, the Democrats rather wouldn't accept the results of the 2000
00:47:43.440 election, the Democrats wouldn't accept the results of the 2016 election.
00:47:47.720 And there were far fewer questions in those elections.
00:47:49.920 It was those years, 2000 and 2016 were far less unusual than, than 2020 in, in large part
00:47:57.140 because of the virus and the lockdowns and the upending of our economy and the changing
00:47:59.960 of a lot of these laws.
00:48:01.080 So this broader, forget about 2020 for a second, the broader problem of not having faith in the
00:48:07.220 institutions, that's a real threat here.
00:48:09.980 And when you look at other countries that descend into absolute chaos, I'm thinking of our
00:48:13.440 friends over in the Middle East right now, you do fear that a lot of this is because people
00:48:17.500 do not have respect for the rule of law, do not have respect for national borders, do
00:48:21.180 not have respect for the country itself.
00:48:23.600 And you see those problems festering here and they are being encouraged almost exclusively
00:48:28.640 by the left.
00:48:30.780 Is there anything we can do about that?
00:48:32.680 Or are we just going to descend into the norm for, for the rest of the world, which doesn't
00:48:37.980 look so pretty?
00:48:38.540 I'm Michael Knowles.
