Ep. 784 - No Consequences For The Elites

Summary

Joe Biden was a complete laughingstock at the G7 summit, but it won t matter because members of the ruling elite never seem to face consequences for their actions. From Black Lives Matter to the big tech oligarchs to the self-loving Jeff Toobin, we will hold them to account.

Transcript

00:00:00.000 Joe Biden met with world leaders this weekend to discuss foreign policy at the G7 conference.
00:00:06.480 And he couldn't even remember the difference between the most recent countries that we have bombed.
00:00:14.420 We could work together with Russia, for example, in Libya.
00:00:20.680 We should be opening up the passes to be able to go through and provide food assistance and economic, I mean, vital assistance to a population that's in real trouble.
00:00:35.420 I think I'm going to try very hard to, it is, and by the way, there's places where, I shouldn't be starting off and negotiating in public here, but let me say it this way.
00:00:46.520 Russia has engaged in activities which we believe are contrary to international norms, but they have also bitten off some real problems they're going to have trouble chewing on.
00:01:05.740 And, for example, the rebuilding of Syria, of Libya, you know, this is, they're there.
00:01:14.140 And the, in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, yeah, that, that was, Libya and Syria are different countries, though President Biden doesn't recognize that.
00:01:27.840 So this vibrant man got more votes than anyone ever in the history of voting, or he's probably got more votes than Assad.
00:01:33.580 Joe Biden's performance was a laughingstock, as was the whole G7 summit.
00:01:38.340 But it won't matter, because members of the ruling elite never seem to face consequences for their actions.
00:01:45.460 From BLM race hustlers and hoax artists, to the big tech oligarchs, who just censored a U.S. senator, just happened,
00:01:52.360 to the self-loving Jeff Toobin, getting reinstated on CNN after pleasuring himself on a Zoom call.
00:01:57.980 But we will hold them to account. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:02:01.340 Welcome back to the show. My favorite comment from Friday is from Socially Dangerous Element, who says,
00:02:15.780 It sounds as if people who don't believe in the concept of sin are using the term whiteness as a stand-in for sin.
00:02:23.060 That's true. That's exactly what they're doing.
00:02:24.900 The difference, of course, between the traditional Christian understanding of sin and the current woke understanding of whiteness as sin
00:02:33.300 is that in Christianity, there's redemption.
00:02:36.260 And in wokeness, there ain't no redemption, which is why you have the people who view whiteness as a sin
00:02:42.300 saying, as they did in that major medical journal last week, that this is a disease, this is a terrible problem,
00:02:49.220 and it requires a permanent cure.
00:02:50.880 Permanent cure, you say. What does that mean?
00:02:52.540 I don't know. It doesn't sound great.
00:02:53.580 You know, if Jeffrey Toobin has taught us anything, it's that you've got to protect your data online.
00:02:59.620 That's where ExpressVPN comes in.
00:03:01.180 Did you ever read the fine print that appears when you start browsing in incognito mode?
00:03:06.600 Well, it says, if only Jeffrey Toobin had read this, it says that your activity might still be visible to your employer
00:03:13.060 or your school or your internet service provider.
00:03:15.800 To really stop people from seeing the sites that you visit, you need to do what I would strongly recommend,
00:03:21.480 what I use all the time, ExpressVPN.
00:03:23.580 Now, maybe, you know, I'm not saying you're doing the Jeffrey Toobin thing.
00:03:26.560 I'm saying you're looking at sites that maybe are not very popular with the ruling elite, you know, really nefarious, shameful.
00:03:34.860 So I'm talking about dailywire.com.
00:03:36.240 You know what I mean.
00:03:37.120 Well, with that ExpressVPN, every site that you visit could be logged by the administrator of that network,
00:03:41.940 even when you're in incognito mode.
00:03:44.360 Do you really want your liberal parents to see that you've been looking at Ben Shapiro's show?
00:03:49.200 Absolutely not.
00:03:49.960 You can't do it.
00:03:51.260 ExpressVPN is a great app.
00:03:52.600 It protects your data.
00:03:55.000 One button you tap to connect.
00:03:56.220 It's so simple.
00:03:57.340 Stop letting strangers invade your online privacy.

00:04:11.080 Joe Biden was a complete laughingstock.
00:04:14.260 If anyone were laboring under the misapprehension that Joe Biden is commanding the world stage or the national stage
00:04:22.640 or he's the strongest leader in the history with the greatest mandate to rule or whatever they're telling us,
00:04:27.300 I think that fell apart over the G7 summit.
00:04:30.620 The other leaders of the world literally were laughing at him because Joe Biden couldn't remember what was just said moments prior.
00:04:38.880 And just say how we plan to welcome those who have just joined us to bring some pretty spectacular weather with them,
00:04:48.240 Prime Minister Modi, President Robert Foser, President Moon, in just a minute.
00:04:53.580 And the President of South Africa.
00:04:55.020 And the President of South Africa, as I said earlier.
00:05:02.280 Oh, you did.
00:05:03.160 I did.
00:05:03.620 I certainly did.
00:05:06.660 But you get an exit twice.
00:05:08.200 So I'll go over that again.
00:05:10.460 I'll let you tell you.
00:05:11.660 We're delighted.
00:05:12.980 I'm glad to say we're joined by Prime Minister Modi.
00:05:17.780 Oh, gosh, it's so awkward.
00:05:19.420 So Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of the UK, is announcing everyone who's here.
00:05:24.820 And we're joined by Prime Minister Modi.
00:05:26.860 And we're joined by...
00:05:27.640 And then Biden interrupts.
00:05:29.200 He kind of comes back into the conversation.
00:05:31.380 He kind of wakes up and he says,
00:05:33.060 And the President of South Africa.
00:05:34.620 And then Bojo, he's debating.
00:05:37.880 You can hear he's debating.
00:05:38.960 Like, yes, Uncle Joe, I already introduced the President of South Africa.
00:05:43.000 Yes, yes, the President of South Africa is just as I said moments ago.
00:05:49.380 Oh, you already said it.
00:05:50.800 And then everyone laughs at him.
00:05:53.660 And then he laughs later, still not quite getting the joke.
00:05:57.080 Really embarrassing stuff.
00:05:58.500 You know, I don't care what the rest of the world thinks of the United States.
00:06:02.160 During the Bush years, Bush 2, and during the Trump years,
00:06:05.620 Democrats rent their garments and gnash their teeth because they said,
00:06:08.180 Oh, no, the world is laughing at us.
00:06:09.640 And first of all, I don't think that was true of those presidents.
00:06:13.120 Certainly not of Trump.
00:06:14.480 And but even if so, who cares?
00:06:16.440 I don't really know.
00:06:16.980 It doesn't bother me.
00:06:18.340 What bothers me is the advancement of the national interest.
00:06:20.480 That's what I care about on the global stage.
00:06:22.500 And so that that's fine.
00:06:24.100 The problem here is that Joe Biden not only is a laughingstock to the rest of the world,
00:06:28.500 but he is not advancing the American national interest.
00:06:31.400 In fact, he's doing everything, I think, to undermine that in favor of an elite transnational
00:06:36.480 liberal consensus that's dominated our politics for more than a quarter of a century.
00:06:40.540 To show you how out of touch these people are with the constituencies that they rule,
00:06:46.580 just consider how they all walked up and met one another.
00:06:50.880 They framed this bizarre sort of video on the beach.
00:06:55.080 And as they were walking up to greet one another, they poked their elbows.
00:07:00.200 You know, they wouldn't, they didn't shake hands, but they did their, the elbow thing.
00:07:04.560 But what was strange about this stupid elbow, you know, where you bump the elbows,
00:07:08.320 is that they, other than Trudeau, the rest of them, the manlier of the bunch, I'm damning
00:07:15.540 with faint praise, did not have masks on.
00:07:18.820 So they were acknowledging, yes, COVID is over.
00:07:21.540 They have all been inoculated, I imagine.
00:07:23.700 But they were still doing the bump.
00:07:26.040 They were still doing this elbow bump.
00:07:27.500 Now, this conveys two very disturbing facts about our global elite.
00:07:35.120 People think, oh, it's just this little minor thing.
00:07:37.240 They're doing the elbow bump instead of shaking hands.
00:07:38.940 No, it conveys two really disturbing facts.
00:07:41.180 One, they think it's kind of funny.
00:07:44.840 They, they think the whole thing is kind of, oh, he, he, he, here, I get, this is what we're
00:07:48.920 doing.
00:07:49.260 He, he, he, look, we're going to bump elbows.
00:07:51.300 Yeah, we shut down the global economy and we suspended everyone's political rights.
00:07:55.660 Ha, ha, ha, and we closed churches, tee, he, he, isn't this so funny?
00:07:59.760 Isn't it?
00:08:00.160 They're giggling.
00:08:00.700 I mean, you can see them sort of laughing.
00:08:02.020 Oh, my gosh.
00:08:02.920 You know, it's, it's the way that whenever you get on a Zoom call now, you have to joke
00:08:06.240 about the fact that you're on a Zoom call.
00:08:07.760 But that's the same thing with the elbows.
00:08:09.060 The second thing that's disturbing about this is that the ruling elite, whether they know
00:08:15.960 it or not, I'm not saying these are the most self-aware people on earth, but whether
00:08:19.700 they know it or not, are conveying their belief that the rituals that bind us
00:08:25.640 together in society are just totally arbitrary.
00:08:29.080 They're completely random and we can change them willy-nilly without any effect through
00:08:35.680 using our own faculties of reason.
00:08:37.680 So yes, for a very, very long time, we've all shaken hands.
00:08:41.220 That's the way that we greet one another in society.
00:08:43.840 But you know, who needs to do that?
00:08:45.200 Now we're going to bump elbows.
00:08:46.260 Why?
00:08:46.740 Because these seven weirdos decided that we're going to do that.
00:08:49.480 So because these weirdos who happen to have positions of power right now are deciding
00:08:54.900 it, we all have to change our customs in the rest of the world.
00:08:57.900 And that's perfectly fine.
00:08:59.060 They'll force us to do it.
00:09:00.340 There's no, there's no particular reason that customs have developed.
00:09:03.040 We're just going to go along with the new normal.
00:09:06.580 I don't think I'm reading too much into it.
00:09:08.520 I mean, these symbols convey something and, you know, words are symbols, these sort of actions
00:09:14.840 and gestures are symbols, and those convey their understanding of the symbolized, their
00:09:19.720 understanding of the world.
00:09:20.800 I talk about this, by the way, at great length in my upcoming book, Speechless Controlling
00:09:24.520 Words, Controlling Minds, available now for pre-order.
00:09:26.640 I believe that book, there we go, it's a little delayed, but that's fine.
00:09:29.880 I believe that book is out in eight days.
00:09:34.260 We are now just over one week away.
00:09:35.760 If you want a signed first edition copy, head on over to Premier Collectibles and get that
00:09:40.000 today.
00:09:40.900 Okay, what we have seen, certainly for the past several decades, but we're seeing now
00:09:46.940 accelerating, is the fact that for the elites, there are basically no consequences.
00:09:53.220 They shut down the world for no reason.
00:09:55.520 Oops.
00:09:56.400 They were wrong about basically every aspect of this virus in their predictions, and in
00:10:02.260 some cases, they outright lied to us, as in the case of Fauci.
00:10:05.240 Whoopsie-daisy, what you going to do about it?
00:10:07.520 Too bad, got to move on.
00:10:08.860 The clearest example of this, of course, is Jeffrey Toobin.
00:10:15.000 I think Jeffrey Toobin single-handedly, you might say, exposed the corruption of this elite
00:10:23.820 group in the media and in politics, and it's all kind of part of the same blob.
00:10:29.360 This guy gets caught doing something that would see anyone else ostracized from society,
00:10:33.780 and he's allowed back on the air.
00:10:37.620 Jeffrey Toobin joined CNN.
00:10:39.520 It was, what you might say, a very touching interview.
00:10:43.160 Jeffrey Toobin was there speaking to, I think this woman's name is Alison Camerata.
00:10:47.220 I sort of forget the names of the liberal journalists, but I think that's who this one is.
00:10:51.040 She's one of the gals at CNN, and it's her task to bring Jeffrey Toobin back into the
00:10:56.700 mainstream.
00:10:57.740 Take a listen.
00:10:58.880 Hi, Jeffrey.
00:10:59.720 Hello, Alison.
00:11:00.600 It's been a while.
00:11:01.220 It has been a while, indeed.
00:11:02.760 I feel like we should address what's happened in the months since we've seen you, since
00:11:08.220 some of our viewers may not know what has happened.
00:11:12.080 So, I guess I'll recap.
00:11:14.340 I'll do the honors.
00:11:16.520 Help yourself.
00:11:17.580 Okay.
00:11:18.980 In October, you were on a Zoom call with your colleagues from the New Yorker magazine.
00:11:24.940 Everyone took a break for several minutes, during which time you were caught masturbating on
00:11:31.580 camera.
00:11:32.820 You were subsequently fired from that job after 27 years of working there.
00:11:37.680 And you, since then, have been on leave from CNN.
00:11:41.480 Do I have all that right?
00:11:42.540 You got it all right.
00:11:43.780 Sad to say.
00:11:44.500 So, incredibly awkward, though Jeffrey Toobin really did not advance his own cause here,
00:11:52.680 I think, because the one thing he said as she was outlining all of these charges, she
00:11:58.460 said, okay, so I'm just going to lay it out, right?
00:12:00.420 He says, help yourself.
00:12:03.480 Not the best choice of words in the particular discussion that we're all having here.
00:12:09.500 Very, very awkward discussion.
00:12:12.760 Then Jeffrey Toobin gets into his explanation.
00:12:16.760 Well, obviously, I wasn't thinking very well or very much.
00:12:20.680 And it was something that was inexplicable to me.
00:12:24.420 I think one point, I wouldn't exactly say in my defense, because nothing is really in
00:12:28.740 my defense.
00:12:29.560 I didn't think I was on the call.
00:12:32.380 I didn't think other people could see me.
00:12:34.920 You thought that you had turned off your camera?
00:12:37.240 Correct.
00:12:37.580 I thought that I had turned off the Zoom call.
00:12:40.260 Now, that's not a defense.
00:12:41.580 This was deeply moronic and indefensible.
00:12:45.660 But, I mean, that is part of the story.
00:12:50.500 That is part of the story.
00:12:51.500 So, it is an excuse that he's making.
00:12:53.000 And this is so interesting, because this excuse, I think, will resonate with parts of the left
00:12:57.620 and the right.
00:12:58.320 But it shows you how hollow it is.
00:13:00.240 Namely, he's saying, look, I thought I was doing this bad thing in private.
00:13:03.920 So, it's not an excuse, but I thought I was doing it in private.
00:13:06.080 But have you ever considered, I know in our liberal permissive society, we're not allowed
00:13:09.680 to say this.
00:13:10.360 Have you ever considered that maybe you shouldn't be doing that in private?
00:13:14.540 That maybe the reason you feel shame of it being exposed is because the thing is bad to
00:13:20.640 do in and of itself?
00:13:22.940 Jeffrey Toobin explaining so much more in his defense of himself.
00:13:27.740 Now, when things get a little crazy out there, as anyone who turns on the news will see,
00:13:33.940 it's very good to invest in some precious metals.
00:13:36.620 That's why I would recommend checking out Acre Gold.
00:13:38.680 Acre lets you subscribe to gold bars for as little as $30 a month.
00:13:42.660 You pay each month.
00:13:43.680 Once your gold stash reaches the price of their gold bars, they will discreetly ship Acre Gold
00:13:48.220 to your house.
00:13:49.340 Acre has a new $100 a month subscription to a 5 gram gold bar.
00:13:52.900 Acre keeps you updated on your gold stash every month and ships once you reach the price
00:13:57.220 threshold.
00:13:58.220 With Acre, taking physical delivery of that gold means that it is safe and sound and in
00:14:03.800 your hands.
00:14:04.640 I have always really enjoyed investing in precious metals.
00:14:07.860 It's also a great hedge against inflation, which we're already seeing right now quite a
00:14:12.580 lot with gas, lumber, and food prices.
00:14:15.240 You don't need to come out of pocket all at once.
00:14:17.480 Investing in physical gold can be a very expensive task if you don't do it the right way.
00:14:21.120 But you can get started with Acre right now for just $30 a month.
00:14:24.460 Go to getacregold.com slash Knowles.
00:14:26.760 Start investing in physical gold today.
00:14:28.440 Make sure you go to this URL because Acre is giving away a gold bar.
00:14:31.680 To qualify for the giveaway, tweet or post why you should be the recipient and mention
00:14:34.840 at get underscore Acre.
00:14:36.280 That's getacregold.com slash Knowles.
00:14:38.180 And thank you, Acre Gold, for supporting the show.
00:14:40.500 Jeffrey Toobin, the self-loving CNN legal analyst, is back on TV.
00:14:45.740 They've mainstreamed him again.
00:14:46.840 It's very awkward.
00:14:47.780 Howard, the CNN hosts, have to explain what he did.
00:14:52.660 He's giving these excuses.
00:14:54.360 And his big excuse is, I didn't know that I was on air.
00:15:00.200 I didn't know I was on the Zoom call.
00:15:02.080 I didn't know people could see me.
00:15:03.520 This shows you how weak our moral discourse has become.
00:15:09.280 All sin and fall short of the glory of God.
00:15:11.340 However, there used to be an understanding in this society that you are never alone.
00:15:18.100 Someone is always watching.
00:15:20.100 Even in the privacy of your darkest chamber, the good Lord above is watching.
00:15:25.880 People can see what you're doing.
00:15:27.240 You are accountable, even for your private actions.
00:15:30.080 But what we have now developed in this country, in our secular and permissive society, is this idea that in the privacy of your own home, in your own private life, you can do whatever you want.
00:15:43.340 And we've considered this to be the height of liberty.
00:15:45.200 Even though it's not liberty, it's licentiousness.
00:15:47.000 And our founding fathers made a big distinction between the two.
00:15:50.220 They're actually polar opposites.
00:15:51.380 If you have a country in which everybody is doing all sorts of bad things in private, and they don't even feel shame for it, then you're going to get a country that has a bad public sphere as well.
00:16:05.400 Because the public sphere is going to just be all these private people doing things together.
00:16:11.560 Jeffrey Toobin concludes his excuse.
00:16:14.120 I have spent the seven subsequent months, miserable months in my life, I can certainly confess, trying to be a better person.
00:16:24.100 I mean, in therapy, trying to do some public service, working in a food bank, which I certainly am going to continue to do, working on a new book about the Oklahoma City bombing.
00:16:33.720 But I am trying to become the kind of person that people can trust again.
00:16:38.860 I actually give him some credit here, but I think that he and the CNN audience probably don't understand the reasoning that he's advancing here.
00:16:50.540 If you get caught doing that thing on Zoom with your colleagues, why would you work in a food bank?
00:16:58.740 How is that going to...
00:17:00.200 I get the therapy system and therapy for whatever is compulsive compulsions.
00:17:03.980 But why the food bank?
00:17:05.600 Because what he's saying is, I'm giving in to sin and vice.
00:17:09.860 And when you give in to sin and vice, that makes you a worse person.
00:17:14.060 So now I'm going to try to do good things, acts of charity, pursue the virtues.
00:17:18.440 And that's going to make me a good person and good people can be trusted.
00:17:22.240 Now, I don't know how genuine he's being.
00:17:24.120 I mean, this might just be a way to try to mainstream his career.
00:17:26.600 But maybe he's being straight.
00:17:29.020 I don't know.
00:17:29.840 The point is, what we do in private will affect our public's square.
00:17:38.160 And so much of the right no longer acknowledges that because we've gone crazy with these bumper sticker slogans of individual rights.
00:17:48.240 And we don't understand even what that meant in the context of the founding fathers.
00:17:53.340 Because we don't know anything because we've got people who don't have any credibility telling it to us.
00:17:56.700 Speaking of irresponsibility in the news, a newspaper in Texas, the Austin American Statesman, said on Saturday that it will not publish the description that local law enforcement gave them of a man suspected of shooting 13 people.
00:18:14.360 A guy shows up, shoots 13 people on Friday night.
00:18:18.740 And the newspaper will not publish the description of that suspect because it could, quote, could be harmful in perpetrating stereotypes.
00:18:30.960 Which now I think everyone has an image of what this person is, but you're not allowed to say it.
00:18:35.920 Editor's note, police have only released a vague description of the suspect shooter as of Saturday morning.
00:18:41.360 The Austin American Statesman is not including the description as it is too vague at this time to be useful in identifying the shooter.
00:18:48.460 And such publication could be harmful in perpetuating stereotypes.
00:18:51.780 If more detailed information is released, we'll update our reporting.
00:18:55.020 So what does the suspect look like?
00:18:56.460 Well, according to the Austin Police Department, he's a black male with dreadlocks wearing a black shirt and a skinny build.
00:19:01.500 So he's a black guy, so they won't publish it.
00:19:03.600 If he were a white guy, they would have published it.
00:19:05.180 Remember when George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin got into an altercation.
00:19:11.740 It wasn't even just that it was completely use of force on the side of Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin was not using force at all.
00:19:17.720 You saw there were lots of injuries on Zimmerman too.
00:19:20.480 But because in that case, and this was years ago, because they initially thought Zimmerman was a white guy,
00:19:25.960 they published it, a white man hunting down a black teenager.
00:19:29.200 And they pretended that Trayvon Martin was like six years old.
00:19:32.020 And remember, they posted that very young photo of him.
00:19:34.080 And then the narrative fell apart because Zimmerman's not a white guy.
00:19:37.080 He's a Hispanic guy.
00:19:38.060 And then they tried, they redefined it in the Times.
00:19:40.200 They said he's a white Hispanic.
00:19:41.460 They were doing anything they could to grab onto their racial narrative,
00:19:45.760 namely the one that LeBron James, for example, advances,
00:19:48.940 that black men can't leave their homes without being hunted down by racist whites.
00:19:52.940 In this story, that doesn't work, that the narrative falls apart in the face of these facts.
00:20:00.560 And so the newspaper says, no, we can't do that because that would advance harmful stereotypes.
00:20:06.940 This shows you a racial double standard that is, when the facts contradict it, there are no consequences.
00:20:16.100 Another example at Wayne State University, a black student at Wayne State University in Michigan
00:20:20.460 claimed that she was part of two separate acts of vandalism because she is black.
00:20:25.640 When I saw this story, I looked at it and I said, you know, I would bet a lot of money that that didn't happen.
00:20:33.600 Now, the left, of course, assumed that it did because the left believes that America is a racist,
00:20:39.980 white supremacist, terrible place where black people can't leave their homes without being hunted down.
00:20:43.840 We, of course, know that that is not true.
00:20:46.220 We know that the only type of racism that is tolerated by the law and by society and even encouraged in some ways by the culture
00:20:53.980 is against white people and to a lesser degree against Asian people.
00:20:57.040 So you just look at that story and you say, no, that didn't happen.
00:21:00.160 Turns out we were right there.
00:21:02.480 So here's this woman's claim.
00:21:03.960 And the irony, of course, and this happens in a lot of these race hoaxes,
00:21:07.780 is that the woman making the claims doesn't even look particularly black.
00:21:13.140 On February 16th, right in the middle of Black History Month, somebody decided to vandalize my door.
00:21:19.660 There was a Black Lives Matter sticker on it and they threw eggs at my door.
00:21:23.580 I reported it to my community director and to my RA.
00:21:27.540 Nothing happened.
00:21:28.260 The only thing that happened was my RA sent a message out to our floor saying that if we wanted to be discriminatory,
00:21:33.620 to take it off campus and off our floor.
00:21:36.300 It happened again on March 1st, last Monday.
00:21:39.680 This time it was much more severe.
00:21:41.220 They basically got every single inch of my door with eggs.
00:21:45.380 They got my pride flag, particularly the Black Lives Matter sticker was what they were aiming for.
00:21:53.100 At that point, I contacted the head of housing and I basically said that I wanted to leave.
00:21:58.060 They were coming for me.
00:21:58.980 They were coming for my dog.
00:22:00.080 All because I was a black student living in their space.
00:22:03.000 We want these people to be held accountable.
00:22:04.800 We want people to know that black students will not be silenced in their space of education.
00:22:09.820 You can't remove us from our homes and we will be getting educated.
00:22:13.180 Now, if you listen carefully, first of all, I never believed this for a second.
00:22:17.520 But if you listen carefully, she says, you know, they were throwing it at all my stickers, my pride sticker, my this, my that.
00:22:23.600 But they were especially aiming at the Black Lives Matter sticker.
00:22:28.080 Not that they especially hit the Black Lives Matter, but they were aiming.
00:22:30.560 How does she know what they were aiming at?
00:22:33.140 To know how they were aiming rather than just what they hit, you would have to be the one who threw the eggs yourself, which is what appears to have happened here.
00:22:42.220 Now she is the main suspect in this.
00:22:45.640 Jussie Smollett all over again.
00:22:47.200 I actually detail probably a dozen or more of these race hoaxes in my upcoming book, Speeches, Controlling Words, Controlling Mind, available now for pre-order.
00:22:55.180 However, I mean, I have many members of my family who look darker than this girl, right?
00:23:05.780 And yet she is saying that I, in particular, am being targeted for the anti-Black racism in this country.
00:23:11.620 Why?
00:23:12.720 She's saying this because racial grievance has currency.
00:23:16.960 It carries social currency.
00:23:18.320 If you can claim in any way to be a member of an aggrieved group, you get certain privileges in school, in the culture, from the government.
00:23:27.520 You will get certain advantages.
00:23:29.760 And if you can't claim that kind of racial grievance, you'll be at a disadvantage.
00:23:33.320 So she lied, she made it up, and now she got caught.
00:23:37.660 Many more people will do it.
00:23:39.320 Racial grievance is big business right now.
00:23:42.060 You're seeing it in the infighting in the BLM movement.
00:23:44.980 So, you know, we've covered BLM, Buy Large Mansions, and we've covered the head of that, Patrice Cullors, who recently had to step down because she was caught buying multiple gigantic homes, some in Beverly Hills, some millions of dollars.
00:23:59.340 And it became clear that this was a grift.
00:24:01.680 This was a con.
00:24:02.440 This was a way to, I think they raised $90 million last year for BLM.
00:24:06.100 They have $60 million cash on hand.
00:24:07.680 And now some of the other breakaway BLM groups, BLM groups that are not under the umbrella of the national organization, they want a piece of the action, namely Michael Brown's father.
00:24:18.720 So you remember Michael Brown was that kid.
00:24:21.200 He was a teenager who had just robbed a convenience store, and then he charged a cop, grabbed the cop's gun, and then he was shot.
00:24:30.220 And it was dishonestly reported that he had his hands up, and he said, hands up, don't shoot.
00:24:35.900 That didn't happen, confirmed by grand jury, by multiple autopsies.
00:24:39.520 That just didn't happen.
00:24:40.640 But now the family of Michael Brown is asking to get a little piece of the action from the BLM national organization.
00:24:47.960 You can hear more about all sorts of this kind of stuff on the Candace Owens podcast right now.

00:25:04.340 Also, my friend Georgia Howe, the Daily Wire's very own, is a former teacher and a liberal who saw the ideological indoctrination sweeping the nation and bravely took a stand against it.

00:25:36.540 We'll be right back.
00:25:37.100 The race hustlers are fighting with one another, and they're not fighting over justice, and they're not fighting over philosophy.
00:25:55.660 They're fighting over cold, hard cash because the BLM national organization raised tens of millions of dollars, almost $100 million, and the smaller BLM groups want a piece of the action.
00:26:04.840 So, the most notable person in this fight is the father of Michael Brown.
00:26:10.840 A New York City group is focused on this, but also the father of Michael Brown in Ferguson.
00:26:16.840 He was the teenager who got into the altercation with the cop on the street.
00:26:20.300 So, when I heard that Michael Brown Sr. was going after the BLM organization, I never thought that this would be this guy waking up and deciding that actually this racial grievance, this is a bad thing and we need to change our tactics.
00:26:38.700 No, I knew it was always going to be just that he wanted a little more money out of it.
00:26:42.460 And it turns out I was right.
00:26:45.260 There's a memoir out by the mother of Michael Brown and by the, I don't think they were married, but by the girlfriend of Michael Brown Sr.
00:26:57.180 And this book is called Speak the Truth and Shame the Devil.
00:27:01.540 You'll notice that whenever these poor kids are caught up, or teenagers or whatever, are caught up in an officer-involved shooting, and no matter how justified the shooting, all of a sudden family members come out of the woodwork.
00:27:15.740 Family members, and they say, we demand justice, and what they really demand is a paycheck.
00:27:19.220 And that's what we're seeing with Michael Brown Sr.
00:27:20.620 All the evidence, if Michael Brown's mother is to be believed, is that this guy was a real piece of work.
00:27:29.420 According to the memoir, he was a violent abuser.
00:27:32.480 This is the father.
00:27:33.780 He forced a shotgun into Michael Brown's mother's mouth during a fight so far down her throat that she choked.
00:27:40.940 She writes in her memoir that she could hear their two children, with Michael Brown Sr., crying downstairs as this man was pointing a gun at her.
00:27:51.240 At one time, he smashed the windshield of her car with his fist.
00:27:55.380 He repeatedly beat her in front of the children.
00:27:57.880 He cheated on her.
00:27:58.800 He's a deadbeat.
00:27:59.680 He refused to get a job, all according to the memoir.
00:28:02.840 And then one time, right in front of Michael Brown Jr., he took her and threw her into a TV.
00:28:08.680 Now, I'm just going to take this woman at her word.
00:28:10.960 I don't see any reason not to believe it.
00:28:14.260 And Michael Brown Sr. has not done a very good job denying these charges.
00:28:17.840 It makes you feel pretty bad for these kids, for someone like Michael Brown.
00:28:23.880 So, Michael Brown was committing crimes, too.
00:28:25.700 Michael Brown reached for the officer's gun in Ferguson.
00:28:27.980 I don't think the officer had any alternative than to do what he did.
00:28:32.140 However, this kid obviously comes from a horrible place because his father, according to all evidence, is a complete and utter degenerate.
00:28:39.920 And now the father is demanding justice and millions and millions of dollars, all according to racial grievance.
00:28:45.180 So, this guy, by all accounts, just a complete deadbeat, a complete drain on society, and worse, a violent abuser.
00:28:53.760 And yet, he's going to be held up as a hero.
00:28:56.720 If you read the mainstream media accounts and you don't read this woman's memoir, this guy, he's the poor, aggrieved father and the victim himself of racial injustice.
00:29:05.780 No, the reason that they do this is because he is useful to the current ruling elite.
00:29:11.800 And so, they're going to use him to push their narrative.
00:29:16.520 And when they come up with a new narrative, they'll find some new guy to push that same narrative.
00:29:21.360 It doesn't matter the facts on the ground.
00:29:23.700 They won't be held to account.
00:29:25.520 The lack of consequences for elites and for preferred groups brings about huge injustices.
00:29:32.840 Maybe you saw this story.
00:29:34.040 This was a few weeks ago.
00:29:36.360 An 18-year-old guy was caught on camera, on a little nighttime camera, over a bed or over a crib, kidnapping and murdering a four-year-old boy.
00:29:46.460 So, you can see it's really terrifying.
00:29:48.120 He goes into the room, nabs this kid out of bed.
00:29:51.620 He's sleeping next to his brother, a four-year-old boy.
00:29:54.380 And then the boy, sometime later, is found beaten to death, dead on the street.
00:29:58.260 The suspect's name, the suspect who we saw on camera, is Darren Ronnell Brown, 18 years old, strongly suspected of murdering this four-year-old boy, Cash Gurnan.
00:30:10.860 Thankfully, he's been charged with capital murder, which carries a life sentence or possibly the death penalty.
00:30:18.020 Now, how did it get this bad?
00:30:19.400 The reason I bring this up is not even to talk about the current charges.
00:30:22.160 Obviously, the guy deserves to fry.
00:30:23.640 There's no question about it.
00:30:25.480 And it would be good for him to fry.
00:30:27.000 It would be rehabilitative to him to contemplate his own eternal soul.
00:30:32.540 But this isn't the first time that he's done something like this.
00:30:37.320 This guy, Darren Ronnell Brown, is also accused of walking into a Dallas home on February 8th and grabbing a young child.
00:30:44.840 The police say he broke in and he rummaged around.
00:30:47.060 Then he punched the homeowner after the homeowner confronted him.
00:30:50.220 He picked up the man's two-year-old granddaughter.
00:30:52.160 The man was able to get the girl back.
00:30:54.300 And then, and this is the weirdest part, the homeowner didn't want to press charges at the time.
00:31:00.900 He told the police that Brown had apologized to him later.
00:31:03.800 Now, first of all, the police should have, I mean, the DA should have pressed charges anyway, no matter what the homeowner wants.
00:31:10.400 If some guy busts into someone's house and grabs a two-year-old girl, and then there's an altercation to get the girl back,
00:31:17.100 and then the homeowner says, actually, never mind, no harm, no foul.
00:31:20.620 Now, the DA, it is their responsibility to press charges.
00:31:26.020 But what you're going to hear from a lot of the prison reform crowd and all the people who say,
00:31:30.940 actually, it was society that made this guy beat and kill a four-year-old child or try to steal a two-year-old child.
00:31:36.580 What they're going to say is, look, we need mercy.
00:31:39.980 We're a merciful and compassionate society.
00:31:42.600 And in our mercy and our compassion, we're going to let this guy off the hook.
00:31:45.700 Where's the mercy and compassion for Cass Gurnon?
00:31:48.100 Where's the mercy and compassion for his family?
00:31:49.960 Where's the mercy and compassion for this two-year-old girl that, thankfully, he didn't manage to steal her?
00:31:56.520 Where's that mercy and compassion?
00:31:59.440 These are real consequences here.
00:32:01.640 But because, frankly, I'm shocked that they released the guy's description.
00:32:08.140 That's going to advance harmful stereotypes, right?
00:32:10.220 According to the Austin Statesman, you're not allowed to do that.
00:32:13.780 But this has horrible, the bizarre racial narrative that the left has grabbed onto in this country
00:32:21.740 is having horrible effects for people of all races, for justice in the country.
00:32:28.280 And it doesn't matter.
00:32:30.640 No consequences whatsoever.
00:32:31.740 There will be no consequences for the DA who didn't push charges.
00:32:35.020 None at all.
00:32:36.120 I hope there are consequences for this guy, Duren, Ronnell Brown.
00:32:41.000 Maybe there will be.
00:32:41.800 Maybe there won't.
00:32:42.420 Now, the racial narrative that they're pushing, of course, is that, as the commenter observed
00:32:49.880 at the top of the show, that whiteness is a sort of stand-in for sin.
00:32:53.140 And that's why we need a permanent cure to it.
00:32:55.580 And we need to abolish it.
00:32:57.040 And this is what we're told now in corporate boardrooms, in university campuses.
00:33:02.420 There is legal anti-white racism.
00:33:06.320 You're seeing it from the Biden administration.
00:33:07.540 The Biden administration's COVID relief package, almost $2 trillion,
00:33:10.340 has several provisions that discriminate against people on the basis of race,
00:33:16.120 including one that provided forgiveness of the Paycheck Protection Program.
00:33:19.720 This is a program to small business owners to keep their workers on staff.
00:33:24.800 It would forgive the loans for socially disadvantaged farmers.
00:33:31.080 And what that meant was non-white farmers.
00:33:34.820 So if you're a white farmer, you have to pay back huge loans.
00:33:38.120 If you're a non-white farmer, you don't.
00:33:40.080 That is racial discrimination.
00:33:41.860 It's specifically anti-white racial discrimination.
00:33:44.580 So in April, the Texas Agriculture Commissioner, Sid Miller, sued the Biden administration and
00:33:49.760 said that this violates Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.
00:33:52.000 It obviously does.
00:33:52.920 A federal judge right now has ruled that the USDA's use of race-based criteria in the administration
00:33:59.440 of this program does violate the right to equal protection under the law.
00:34:03.400 But the USDA is fighting back and they're going to try to advance this and they're going to
00:34:06.480 make all sorts of arguments that actually, in the name of racial justice, you need to punish
00:34:12.100 white farmers and you need to reward non-white farmers.
00:34:16.700 Why are they doing it?
00:34:18.960 I suspect they're doing that because they recognize that this sort of a policy, this sort of a narrative
00:34:28.600 will upend America.
00:34:30.560 If you can say that America and the people who built America and the people who look like the
00:34:38.760 people who built America and the people who are in any ways descendants, that they're evil,
00:34:42.920 that they're rotten to the core, then you provide an opportunity to upend society.
00:34:47.840 This is a process that has been spelled out by very prominent leftist theorists and has
00:34:53.120 gone down through the ages, a process that I spell out in my upcoming book, Speechless,
00:34:56.200 Controlling Words, Controlling Minds.
00:34:57.980 I suspect that most people, if you presented this to them, most people of any race, if you
00:35:04.360 presented it to them, you go up to a Hispanic guy or a black guy or an Asian guy,
00:35:08.380 and you say, hey, do you think it's fair to punish white people and to reward black people?
00:35:11.920 I suspect the majority of everyone would say, no, I don't think that's fair.
00:35:15.100 Maybe some people would say, yeah, damn right it's fair.
00:35:17.120 But I bet you that the majority of people across demographics would say, no, that doesn't seem
00:35:22.400 right.
00:35:23.960 And yet that is the rule.
00:35:25.280 I bet you if you pulled the majority of America and you said, do you think this is right?
00:35:27.820 They would say no.
00:35:29.680 So how is it that the actual governing policies of our democracy seem so different than what the
00:35:37.800 people would actually like to see?
00:35:40.020 Why is it?
00:35:41.500 Because the elites are not representative of the people.
00:35:47.260 Who are the elites?
00:35:48.820 Is it the senators?
00:35:50.140 No, I don't think so.
00:35:51.600 I don't think, is it the president to a degree?
00:35:54.280 Sure.
00:35:54.400 Is it the this?
00:35:55.060 Is it the that?
00:35:57.040 The elites are part of the liberal establishment.
00:35:59.760 They can be in media.
00:36:00.640 They can be in universities.
00:36:02.020 They can be in government.
00:36:02.840 They can be in world corporations.
00:36:04.800 They can be in big tech.
00:36:07.180 They have much more power than, say, a Republican senator.
00:36:09.820 Here's the proof of that.
00:36:11.980 Republican Senator Ron Johnson just posted a YouTube video.
00:36:15.600 We can't play it.
00:36:16.700 We are not permitted to play.
00:36:17.820 If we play this video, we will be taken off of YouTube.
00:36:22.060 In this video, he opined about the use of hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.
00:36:27.740 These were medicines that have been said are useful to treat COVID-19.
00:36:34.560 Doctors have said this.
00:36:36.700 Scientists have said this.
00:36:37.920 But not the leftist scientists and not the politically approved scientists.
00:36:43.160 So Ron Johnson, a U.S. senator, goes out and he says, hey, we should talk about this.
00:36:46.980 We should talk about the use of these drugs.
00:36:49.740 YouTube takes him down.
00:36:52.640 Nobody ever elected YouTube.
00:36:54.120 Nobody ever put YouTube on a ballot and said yes.
00:37:00.320 And YouTube, by the way, as part of Google, controls the flow of information around our public sphere.
00:37:05.600 They are the place where democracy happens, right?
00:37:09.160 Where politics happens.
00:37:10.940 They say no.
00:37:11.900 A duly elected sitting U.S. senator, sorry, you're out.
00:37:15.300 Now, you're going to hear the squishes say that this is actually wonderful.
00:37:23.540 There's nothing more American than allowing a handful of woke oligarchs to dominate and control our politics.
00:37:29.420 That's what James Madison intended, darn it.
00:37:32.600 That's freedom.
00:37:33.220 Build your own Google or whatever.
00:37:34.620 But obviously, obviously, people have a political right in a self-governing republic
00:37:39.420 to have a say over how information moves around the sphere.
00:37:44.280 We're allowed to say that we should be able to speak without being impeded by these woke oligarchs.
00:37:50.240 But it's very confusing for the squishes because they have been just totally brainwashed
00:37:54.620 by 20 years or so of stupid Republican talking points, which you can read about.
00:37:59.400 You can read about that whole process.
00:38:00.460 In my opinion, it looks speechless, controlling words, controlling minds.
00:38:04.900 Who is the misinformer here?
00:38:07.180 Who's the conspiracy theorist?
00:38:08.540 So many things that we were told with certainty by the liberal elites have turned out not to be true.
00:38:13.360 Remember when you could be banned from social media for saying that very likely the COVID virus leaked from the Wuhan lab?
00:38:23.240 Remember, you could be banned for saying that.
00:38:25.600 We said it anyway, and fortunately we survived, but a lot of other people did not on social media.
00:38:30.400 Well, now that would appear to be the most likely explanation.
00:38:36.400 The fact-checking websites initially said this is false, 10 Pinocchios, this is totally false.
00:38:41.160 They've had to edit their fact checks because the facts apparently turn out to be true.
00:38:45.260 Who are the misinformers here?
00:38:46.680 Seems to me that it's the liberal elites.
00:38:49.000 It's this from Dr. Stephen Quay, who points out in this question of whether COVID is a natural virus or not.
00:38:56.900 He says the odds that this is a totally natural virus, one in a billion.
00:39:01.100 I'm a scientist.
00:39:02.040 I've looked at this from a straight scientific point of view, not, you know, personalities.
00:39:05.520 And there are just so many signatures and so many events that are consistent with a lab leak.
00:39:11.200 There's literally no fact that we know of that is similar to a previous natural zoonosis.
00:39:19.460 So, you know, my analysis gets into the one in the billion chance here that this could have come from nature.
00:39:26.120 So, virologists have done work over the last 20, 30 years, and there's probably seven or eight jumps from an animal virus to a human every year in Asia.
00:39:35.340 They burn out.
00:39:36.120 They don't cause any sort of disease.
00:39:38.160 There is one lab leak per year.
00:39:40.160 That's documented over the last 30 years in Asia.
00:39:42.460 So, it's an eight-to-one ratio out of the box.
00:39:44.680 So, I, you know, for January of 2020, when I heard that there was a wet market associated with this, I was saying, okay, that sounds familiar.
00:39:52.380 And then I heard that the only BSLA-4 laboratory and the place where 60% of all the coronavirus research that's been published in the world comes from, the Wuhan Institute of Virology, is, you know, three kilometers from the PLA hospital where the first patient was.
00:40:10.320 That switches your probabilities, you know, overnight, instantly.
00:40:14.920 Sorry, sounds too scientific for me.
00:40:17.120 I don't think that's too much for you two.
00:40:18.600 I don't think you're allowed to say that sort of thing.
00:40:20.440 But who are the misinformers?
00:40:22.420 Who are the conspiracy theorists?
00:40:24.220 What they told us from the beginning, even at the point of censorship, has been proven wrong time and time and time again.
00:40:30.120 Are they going to face consequences?
00:40:31.760 No way.
00:40:33.700 I do think there is some glimmering hope that this ruling liberal elite will eventually be held to account, at least to some degree.
00:40:43.520 The glimmering hope, Florida, baby, Florida and South Dakota, the Americas of America, the land of the free, where we can still breathe the sweet air of freedom.
00:40:57.740 The economies of those two states are not only back to where they were before COVID.
00:41:06.360 They're actually better.
00:41:08.400 They're stronger than they were before COVID.
00:41:11.180 Right now, the economy of South Dakota is performing at 106% of its pre-COVID strength.
00:41:19.480 Florida performing at 101% of its pre-COVID strength.
00:41:25.680 Other states tend to be a little more conservative.
00:41:28.400 States like West Virginia, Nevada, Montana, Iowa, Arizona.
00:41:33.380 So not totally, you know, completely red states, but still a little more conservative.
00:41:37.620 They're doing well.
00:41:38.840 They're still below their pre-COVID strength.
00:41:40.780 But South Dakota and Florida, two states that were basically open the whole time, took a very skeptical approach to all the lockdowns and basically just kept society moving.
00:41:52.400 They're doing better.
00:41:53.280 Why?
00:41:53.520 I can just tell you anecdotally because every event is happening in South Dakota and much more so in Florida.
00:42:00.260 I've been to Florida this year probably six times.
00:42:04.600 Why?
00:42:05.020 Because every political event that is allowed to occur is happening in Florida.
00:42:09.040 And I was in South Dakota a few weeks ago because some political events are allowed there too.
00:42:13.180 And other, there are no political events really in New York because New York is still shut down or California or anywhere else.
00:42:18.500 I'm about to go back to Florida in just a few weeks.
00:42:22.520 People are voting with their feet to a certain degree.
00:42:26.880 And I mean, you can see it here.
00:42:28.280 I'm living in Tennessee.
00:42:29.260 I used to live in California.
00:42:30.940 COVID was the straw that broke the camel's back and we got out of there.
00:42:34.540 That is a hope.
00:42:35.580 The hope is that you see these sensible places growing in strength and growing in confidence.
00:42:43.320 Now, that will lead to what many have called the balkanization of America or could lead to that.
00:42:50.320 And that could create some national problems.
00:42:52.960 But the states themselves are going to be asserting their own rights.
00:42:57.200 And that's a good thing.
00:42:57.860 It's great that we can test it.
00:42:59.400 And you can see actually Florida did much better than the places that locked down.
00:43:03.400 Now, there's a downside to that too, though, which is I don't think this is the permanent solution.
00:43:11.200 I think that ultimately when these states get a little too free, when these states get a little too sensible, the federal government is going to come in.
00:43:19.240 I mean, this is so much of what you're seeing with the growth of the public health bureaucracy, the growth of the racial grievance ideology that is often enforced at the federal level, and the growth of these woke corporations that have more political power than many elected officials, which operate, as Mitch McConnell said, like a sort of parallel government.
00:43:41.620 They're going to clamp down.
00:43:42.780 And some people are going to try to stand strong, like Christy Noem is going to try to some degree, or Ron DeSantis is doing a pretty good job at it.
00:43:50.020 But ultimately, I do fear that even given a handful of Republican, really tough conservative states, the liberal establishment is just so strong.
00:44:00.160 It is not enough to say, well, just go to your own states and we'll just have federalism.
00:44:03.340 No, we've got to gain national power too.
00:44:06.620 We've got to push back.
00:44:07.680 You know, the federal and cultural, the federal policies, rather, have such huge cultural effect because they've got so many resources.
00:44:16.680 I mean, you know, during COVID, the federal government puts out all these extremely abundant, ample unemployment benefits.
00:44:24.940 It's part of the reason right now that employers are having a tough job getting people to come back to work is because they've had very good benefits.
00:44:29.820 So, there's a report out now, according to Axios, that street gangs and foreign criminal syndicates may have stolen up to half of the unemployment benefits paid out during the coronavirus lockdowns.
00:44:48.720 Half of it, half of your tax money, massive, massive transfer of wealth stolen by criminals.
00:44:55.940 Is anybody going to pay for that?
00:44:58.400 Is anybody going to be held to?
00:45:00.340 Nope.
00:45:00.780 Oopsie daisy.
00:45:01.520 Whoops.
00:45:02.780 Sorry.
00:45:04.260 Sorry.
00:45:04.720 This is what we've heard for decade upon decade.
00:45:06.940 Oh, we got rid of your, we shipped all your manufacturing jobs overseas.
00:45:10.920 Oops.
00:45:11.400 Yeah, we sort of had to or whatever.
00:45:13.260 Sorry.
00:45:13.600 Too bad.
00:45:14.980 Deal with it.
00:45:16.680 Oops.
00:45:17.560 Your communities have been totally hollowed out by drugs and you end up ended by mass immigration without any sort of assimilation.
00:45:24.900 Whoopsie daisy.
00:45:25.480 Yep, that's just the way it is.
00:45:27.380 Nope.
00:45:27.620 No accountability.
00:45:29.200 Oops, we gave half of your money to criminals.
00:45:31.140 Yeah.
00:45:31.400 Whoops.
00:45:32.160 Sorry.
00:45:33.260 Whoopsie daisy.
00:45:35.480 The RNC is very slowly, very slowly starting, I think, kind of to wake up to this.
00:45:41.860 In terms of the presidential debates in 2024, the RNC is now saying they might skip network television debates if they are not dramatically overhauled.
00:45:51.780 This is a very good sign, not because this is going to be the game changing issue, the presidential debates, you know, to some degree, who cares?
00:45:59.760 But it's a symbol of the right, but it's a symbol of the larger problem, that the right plays on the left's field according to the left's rules.
00:46:07.940 The fact that Republican candidates for president, especially during the primaries, but even during the general, would go onto these leftist network debates and let leftists dictate the priorities of their own party or even of the general election is insane.
00:46:27.780 Obviously, these networks are not objective and they're not nonpartisan, but we continue to play along with that.
00:46:34.160 And as Republicans play along with that, the only effect that they can possibly have is to be the court jester in the kingdom of liberalism.
00:46:42.040 The only thing that they're going to do is legitimize the ruling liberal establishment that is accountable to nobody.
00:46:47.860 And that's it. And that's all there is.
00:46:51.000 It's even worse than doing nothing because they're giving credence to the idea that we actually have a functioning two-party system in the country, when in fact we don't.
00:46:59.500 We have a liberal establishment and we have a group of people that basically try to, you know, put up a show of opposition, but really just go along to get along.
00:47:08.620 And before we go, we've only got 33 seconds left. I've got to point out, you know, AOC made this whole claim that Donald Trump kept her abuela's relief money in Puerto Rico away from her and she was living in squalor.
00:47:19.820 And then Matt Walsh and the Daily Wire crew over here raised $100,000 to fix abuela's roof.
00:47:24.600 And then AOC, on behalf of abuela, called GoFundMe and shut down the whole thing and kind of proved the point that it was never about AOC's grandmother or anything like that.
00:47:35.140 It was just a cheap talking point.
00:47:36.580 Well, headline right now from AOC's aunt.
00:47:40.420 This is in the Daily Mail.
00:47:41.820 It's a problem here in Puerto Rico, not with Washington.
00:47:44.440 AOC's aunt says Trump is not to blame for lack of aid to the struggling island after the congresswoman bashed the former president for damage to her grandmother's home.
00:47:51.740 I was just totally made up.
00:47:52.740 The whole abuela thing was just completely contrived and fake.
00:47:56.020 The arguments that AOC made about it, just not true.
00:47:58.460 She just lied and won't face any consequences for it.
00:48:03.800 We're all Jeffrey Toobin now, aren't we?
00:48:06.660 We're all, you know, I think pleasuring oneself on a Zoom call is probably the most precise description I've ever heard for our ruling elite.
00:48:15.440 How sad is that?
00:48:16.160 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:49:11.960 An MSNBC host claims that most American school kids are being taught that slavery was okay.
00:49:18.480 A new report details the rash of suicide attempts by adolescent girls during lockdown.
00:49:22.900 A female student comes out as a guy to her classmates.
00:49:26.160 A lobster diver claims he was swallowed by a whale.
00:49:28.580 Sounds very credible.
00:49:29.360 And finally, an NPR article blasts Tom Hanks for making too many movies about white people doing good things.
00:49:34.620 That's very problematic, as we'll see.
00:49:36.440 All of that and much more today on The Matt Walsh Show.
00:49:38.240 We'll see you next time.
