You searched for your informant, who disappeared without a trace.
00:00:07.680
You knew there were witnesses, but lips were sealed.
00:00:11.920
You swept the city, driving closer to the truth,
00:00:37.440
But he can't keep talking either, because that also hurts his poll numbers.
00:00:42.660
He can no longer talk about Afghanistan, immigration, the economy, abortion, election integrity,
00:00:48.940
or even the coronavirus, which used to help his poll numbers,
00:00:52.700
but now, like all those other issues, hurts them.
00:00:55.540
So the only thing he's got to help boost his popularity is to stoke fears of the sun monster.
00:01:04.980
For decades, scientists have warned of extreme weather would be more extreme,
00:01:11.580
and climate change was here, and we're living through it now.
00:01:17.260
I hope no one — I've been on the telephone or on the road an awful lot between California,
00:01:28.780
Idaho, New Orleans — excuse me, not New Orleans, Louisiana, but New Orleans, Mississippi,
00:01:41.180
Every part of the country is getting hit by extreme weather.
00:01:45.180
And we're now living in real time what the country's going to look like.
00:01:51.960
If climate change is already here, and we're out of time, and there's no way to prevent it,
00:02:00.320
then I guess there's no point talking about it.
00:02:02.880
So even climate change, that old Democrat boogeyman, even that doesn't look like it can
00:02:16.220
California Governor Gavin Newsom may get thrown out of office.
00:02:19.120
The head of the largest LGBT lobby just got ousted over a sex scandal, just like the previous
00:02:26.080
And Dr. Fauci is facing potential criminal charges.
00:02:40.900
My favorite comment yesterday from Mary Jane Chambers, who observes, when Harris said that
00:02:47.120
she and Biden are people of faith, she didn't say which faith.
00:02:51.840
You have hit on the key here, because everybody's got to serve somebody.
00:03:03.860
And what do you do after you say your prayers at night?
00:03:09.200
MyPillow is a good conservative patriotic company.
00:03:17.560
I think I would support them even if they were run by the Taliban.

00:04:15.840
Joe Biden cannot even fear monger on the sun monster correctly.
00:04:19.920
The way you fear monger on the sun monster is you always say that the devastating effects
00:04:25.420
are just a little bit into the future and we can still prevent them, but time's running out.
00:04:29.700
They've been saying this since the 1970s and they've changed the specifics about what's
00:04:35.260
So initially it was going to be an ice age and it was global cooling, but there's still
00:04:41.060
And then it became global warming and it's going to get really, really hot, but time is
00:04:45.540
And then it became climate change, which was unfalsifiable.
00:04:48.800
And it's going to happen in 12 years, 10 years.
00:04:51.980
Prince Charles said it was going to happen in 18 months.
00:04:56.140
So I guess we're already past the point of no return, according to Prince Charles.
00:05:00.220
AOC is a little bit smarter than the future King of England.
00:05:03.600
She put it a little bit further into the future.
00:05:06.320
So I think we're still, what, eight or nine years away from the AOC apocalypse.
00:05:15.120
Well, if we're already out of time, then who cares, buster?
00:05:17.860
Well, Joe Biden cannot even name the sorts of extreme weather that he's fear mongering about.
00:05:30.880
That hit the crops and wetlands in the middle of the country and in Iowa and Nevada.
00:05:41.800
Now, listen, I know that political correctness is getting extreme.
00:05:49.080
But we can't we can't call tornadoes tornadoes anymore.
00:05:55.460
Some have suggested it's it'll be like torn tornadex.
00:05:59.560
You know, like they did with Latino, Latin, Latinx.
00:06:06.880
You just take away all of the vowels and then you've got.
00:06:11.460
He's not thinking of very much is the problem with him.
00:06:13.420
So the climate change thing is not going to work.
00:06:19.140
Afghanistan, obviously, that's a terrible issue for the Democrats.
00:06:24.060
One other area where they're trying to fear monger a little bit is abortion.
00:06:29.520
They're really focusing in on Texas, which they have acknowledged to be the sacrament of liberalism.
00:06:36.580
That's why they're teaming up with the Satanic Temple in Texas.
00:06:40.180
But it's not just Joe Biden who's who's messing up this fear mongering.
00:06:47.560
The New York Times are trying to scare everyone into submission over the abortion law.
00:06:51.860
But they're actually as they do it, they're undermining their own argument.
00:06:54.220
I've got to give credit here to Mary Margaret Olihan over at The Daily Caller.
00:06:59.180
Have you ever heard a more beautifully Catholic name than that?
00:07:04.920
She pointed out something right when this article came out.
00:07:09.140
And I can't believe it got past the copy editors.
00:07:11.440
This is a New York Times article talking about the Democrats expanding the welfare system.
00:07:16.920
From cradle to grave, Democrats moved to expand the social safety net.
00:07:21.640
The $3.5 trillion social policy bill that lawmakers begin drafting this week
00:07:27.100
would touch virtually every American at every point in life from conception to old age.
00:07:36.980
So the argument for abortion is that the baby is not a baby.
00:07:47.540
Even if the fetus becomes a human life in the third trimester, say.
00:07:51.900
Or even, oh my gosh, we're going to be really conciliatory.
00:07:55.280
We're going to say it's in the second trimester.
00:07:56.860
Certainly, it's not at the point of conception.
00:08:00.340
Why then, the baby, as you call it, he's just a zygote.
00:08:12.740
Unless you're the New York Times and you accidentally slip up.
00:08:15.280
Every point in life from conception, which is now, the New York Times is acknowledging,
00:08:26.600
Okay, so we've established that the unborn baby from the very moment of conception,
00:08:31.960
all the way back before he was the tiniest little zygote, right at that moment, is a life.
00:08:50.980
I mean, they're probably going to just stealth change the headline and not tell anybody about it.
00:08:56.680
The New York Times admits human life begins at the moment of conception.
00:09:04.120
They're saying, yeah, we acknowledge human life begins at the moment of conception.
00:09:06.740
We just think you ought to be able to kill innocent people, the most vulnerable people among us.
00:09:12.940
He says, look, or rather, I'm sorry, that was his official line until about a week ago.
00:09:19.540
His official line was, I believe that life begins at the moment of conception.
00:09:22.520
I accept the church's teaching on this, but I think we should still be able to kill the babies.
00:09:26.520
Only last week did he descend into formal heresy and say, I don't agree with the church on that.
00:09:31.560
It's a scientific reality, though, even the Times admits it.
00:09:33.700
Speaking of scientific reality, do you remember, it was about a month or two ago,
00:09:39.300
Rand Paul grilled Dr. Fauci specifically over whether or not Dr. Fauci had funded or supported in any way
00:09:48.500
gain of function research, period, but specifically in the Wuhan Institute of Virology
00:09:57.500
Gain of function research is where you take naturally occurring viruses and beef them up,
00:10:01.640
make them deadlier, make them more transmissible.
00:10:09.620
Dr. Fauci, do you still support funding of the NIH funding of the lab in Wuhan?
00:10:15.280
Senator Paul, with all due respect, you are entirely and completely incorrect that the NIH has not ever
00:10:26.160
and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
00:10:37.660
Do you fund Dr. Barrett's gain-of-function research?
00:10:39.680
Dr. Barrett does not doing gain-of-function research, and if it is, it's according to the
00:10:45.780
guidelines, and it is being conducted in North Carolina, not in China.
00:10:50.360
You don't think inserting a bat virus spike protein that he got from the Wuhan Institute
00:10:57.720
You would be in the minority because at least 200 scientists have signed a statement from the Cambridge
00:11:02.800
Working Group saying that it is gain-of-function.
00:11:05.320
Well, it is not, and if you look at the grant and you look at the progress reports, it is not gain-of-function.
00:11:16.400
You could hear it because he messes up his grammar.
00:11:19.540
He said, it is, does not, and it, if, it, and he also has an error in logic here where he says,
00:11:26.440
we are not funding gain-of-function research, and all the gain-of-function research we're funding is totally fine.
00:11:36.500
You're not, you're not funding it, or, well, if, you know, look, and it may be, look, we're not doing it,
00:11:42.480
but even if we were, it'd be in North Carolina.
00:11:45.560
Well, there's a new report out from The Intercept that says that, that basically nothing in Fauci's statement was true.
00:11:59.580
They funded it at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
00:12:04.060
You know, we're talking about specific matters of life here, and so, it makes perfect sense that we ought to talk about 40 Days for Life.
00:12:13.580
With the left now totally in defense of abortion, talking about it constantly because of this Texas law,
00:12:21.040
I think a lot of us find ourselves in heated debate, sometimes with our friends or our family or our coworkers.
00:12:26.300
Well, 40 Days for Life has just released the perfect book for those looking to arm themselves against a broad range of pro-abortion talking points.
00:12:34.480
This book is called What to Say When, the complete new guide to discussing abortion.
00:12:39.680
This book is an easy read for people looking to defend life and convert hearts.
00:12:44.120
A whole lot has changed since the Supreme Court invented the fictional right to abortion in 1973.
00:12:49.720
What to Say When equips readers with proven approaches to dismantling the abortion agenda.
00:12:54.640
These methods have already enabled 40 Days for Life members to convert the hearts of 221 abortion workers.
00:13:01.560
Know exactly what to say and not to say when abortion comes up.
00:13:05.200
Balance converting hearts with winning arguments and go on the offensive instead of the defensive.
00:13:12.660
What to Say When, the complete new guide to discussing abortion, how to change minds and convert hearts in a brave new world.

00:13:30.520
He says, did you fund gain-of-function research?
00:13:40.720
The Intercept just filed a Freedom of Information Act request.
00:13:47.880
It learned through the documents that were released that the NIH, National Institutes of Health, issued a bat coronavirus grant to a group called the EcoHealth Alliance.
00:13:59.920
It included $599,000 that the Wuhan Institute of Virology used in part to identify and alter bat coronaviruses that were likely to infect humans.
00:14:21.200
In the words of, I mean, you don't need to take my word for it.
00:14:26.760
But Dr. Richard Ebright, who is a molecular biologist at Rutgers, took a look at these documents.
00:14:32.400
He said, quote, the documents make it clear that assertions by the NIH director, Francis Collins, and the NIAID director, Anthony Fauci, that the NIH did not support gain-of-function research or potential pandemic pathogen enhancement at the Wuhan Institute of Virology are untruthful.
00:14:52.660
So that was a very diplomatic way of saying Fauci lied.
00:14:59.740
He lied about his role in starting the coronavirus epidemic, potentially.
00:15:12.060
If the gain-of-function research going on, if identifying the transmissible bat coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, if that had nothing to do with the outbreak of COVID, then why would Fauci lie about it on national television at the U.S. Capitol before a committee of the United States Senate?
00:15:41.460
Speaking of scandals, there's another tough scandal for a very prominent Democrat, for a very prominent left-winger.
00:15:51.340
This is from the HRC, the Human Rights Campaign.
00:15:54.600
The Human Rights Campaign is one of these ridiculously named organizations that is focused specifically on redefining marriage, and then they did redefine marriage, then they moved on to transgender stuff.
00:16:04.500
It's the organization that has the equal sign as the logo, and they really brilliantly redefined the debate over marriage from a question of what is marriage to a question of who has the right to get married, presuming their own conclusion that sexual difference has nothing to do with marriage.
00:16:21.960
They were very effective in getting marriage to be redefined.
00:16:25.600
And the head of that organization now has been fired, Alfonso David.
00:16:31.900
He was fired as the president of ARC because of a sex scandal.
00:16:36.700
And unfortunately for this guy, it wasn't even his own sex scandal.
00:16:42.800
This guy, Alfonso David, was implicated in assisting former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo in his attempts to smear the women who accused him of sexual misconduct.
00:16:52.480
Not good when the head of the sexual liberation organization gets caught up in a sex scandal.
00:16:59.340
But this isn't the first time that this has happened to the Human Rights Campaign.
00:17:02.880
This actually happened with the founder of the Human Rights Campaign, a guy by the name of Terry Bean.
00:17:08.760
Mr. Bean in 2014 was charged with sodomy and sex abuse of a 15-year-old boy.
00:17:14.340
Mr. Bean, significantly older than 15 years old.
00:17:17.720
Now, this was a bad story, so the media covered it up at the time.
00:17:21.620
A few years ago, it looked like he might get off the hook for this, even though it looked as though there was first going to be a settlement between the victim and this guy.
00:17:30.000
Then it looked like he was maybe going to get off the hook.
00:17:33.000
But then he was brought up again on the same charges.
00:17:36.240
And then all of his claims of innocence, I think, fell apart when in 2019, September of 2019, Bean's former sexual partner was found, not the 15-year-old, but the other one, his older one, was found guilty of third-degree sodomy and third-degree sexual abuse, which even the Oregonian reported at the time as a blow to Bean's claims of innocence.
00:18:02.560
They're dragging this thing out because he's politically a very important person for Democrats.
00:18:09.940
Because the human rights, I mean, it's, I think, perfectly good for justice that this guy be brought up on what he did.
00:18:16.280
But it's really not good for the Democrats' facade, for the lobbying efforts, for the human rights campaign, and for the left more broadly.
00:18:24.800
Because they've got to put out this image that they are the moral ones.
00:18:34.500
Which brings me to a topic that's very politically incorrect.
00:18:40.000
Conservatives are not supposed to raise any objection to this.
00:18:42.940
We're just supposed to move on and it's supposed to be totally fine because we don't want to seem like meanies or anything like that.
00:18:49.780
There was a tweet that came out last week from Pete Buttigieg.
00:18:58.580
And it's Pete Buttigieg and his partner, Chasen.
00:19:01.160
And they're lying in a hospital bed holding two newborn babies.
00:19:07.120
These are babies that they, it's unclear if they've adopted the babies or if the babies were produced in some other way.
00:19:12.940
And they're lying in a hospital bed, which is very strange because they didn't, I don't think they gave birth.
00:19:17.780
I don't, listen, I told, I'm no epidemiologist, I'm no biologist, but it would seem strange to me if they gave birth.
00:19:27.000
Chasen and I are beyond thankful for all their kind wishes since first sharing the news that we're becoming parents.
00:19:32.340
We're delighted to welcome Penelope Rose and Joseph August Buttigieg to our family.
00:19:46.760
I understand why people don't want to, even why many conservatives don't want to.
00:19:52.620
You know, they seem like perfectly right upstanding citizens.
00:20:00.680
And let's just not, I don't, we won't, we don't want to seem like jerks, right?
00:20:04.020
So, but we do have to think more seriously about bioethics here.
00:20:12.740
Because in making Pete and Chasen happy, we are robbing two babies of their mother, either of their natural mother or of a potential adoptive mother.
00:20:25.140
Don't forget, in this country, there are an estimated 36 couples for every, who are attempting to adopt for every one baby put up for adoption.
00:20:35.340
There is no shortage of couples trying to adopt in this country.
00:20:40.060
There is a shortage of people who want to adopt older children who were, say, taken out of abusive homes or, you know, children who are 12 or 13 years old who are in foster care.
00:20:51.060
There were 36 couples trying to adopt every baby there.
00:20:53.360
And now there is a battle going on between whether or not you're allowed to take into consideration the circumstances of the potential adoptive parents.
00:21:03.920
Is there a distinction to be made between a husband and a wife who are married and a single mother, for instance?
00:21:11.420
Should both of those types of people be treated equally when they're trying to adopt?
00:21:17.120
I think it's better for the baby to have a mother and a father.
00:21:18.920
What about a mother and a father and a mother and a mother or a mother and a father and a father and a father?
00:21:24.580
Should both of those types of couples be treated equally?
00:21:29.020
Because I think men and women actually are different.
00:21:31.480
And I think both actually have something to contribute to raising a child.
00:21:36.380
And I think that we erase women or we erase men.
00:21:41.020
When we say it doesn't matter, there's no difference.
00:21:44.160
You're just parent number one and parent number two.
00:21:47.340
And furthermore, there's no evidence that they actually adopted.
00:21:52.180
It may have just been that they went through a clinical process of in vitro fertilization whereby they shopped for an egg and they purchased an egg from one woman.
00:22:00.540
And then they rented the womb of another woman.
00:22:02.400
And then they intentionally deprived a child of his natural mother.
00:22:08.800
And I'm glad that it put a smile on Pete Buttigieg's face.
00:22:20.400
And when we just accept this willy-nilly, what we are saying effectively is there's no role for a mother in a child's life.
00:22:30.740
And okay, sure, maybe the child will never get to hold his mother.
00:22:34.160
And anyone who's ever had a kid can see the difference, okay, between a kid reacting to his mother and a kid reacting to his father.
00:22:43.080
And sometimes a mother dies and sometimes a father dies.
00:22:50.600
Certainly not to satisfy our own longings that, for whatever reason, are not being fulfilled.
00:23:04.020
And I guess this relates to the abortion debate in as much as it's very easy to ignore what is best for someone who cannot express himself like an unborn baby or like a little newborn baby for that matter.
00:23:17.680
But we really ought to take that into consideration.
00:23:19.900
Unfortunately, our society doesn't think that way anymore.
00:23:26.400
And increasingly, the society is very intolerant of the traditional viewpoints of basically everyone on earth that says, hmm, maybe this isn't the best thing.
00:23:39.380
We can't see clearly because we don't have blue blocks glasses.
00:23:46.480
Not only because they make me look like Rachel Maddow.
00:23:49.900
But because blue blocks block the blue light that damages our eyes and that can lead to digital eye strain.
00:23:58.760
Seriously, I no longer, in almost any circumstance, will look at a screen that's got blue light coming out all the time.
00:24:08.180
It leads to a lot of eye strain, blurred vision, headaches, dry, watery eyes.
00:24:12.740
This can cause anxiety, depression, low energy.

all over this same issue that keeps cropping up, the sexual revolution.
00:25:43.380
So Poland recently, a number of areas in Poland, areas and towns, have said that they're free
00:25:53.300
They're not saying they're persecuting people who have different sexual desires and behaviors
00:26:00.960
They're just saying the LGBT ideology, the ideology that says that there's no difference between
00:26:06.240
men and women, the ideology that says that you must pursue any desire you have whatsoever,
00:26:11.320
the ideology that says that you're not allowed to hold anything resembling a traditional view
00:26:17.040
We're ridding ourselves of that in favor of something else.
00:26:25.240
At the fall of the Soviet Union, what was one of the big events that caused the fall of
00:26:30.620
Again, Pope John Paul II shows up, and in this Soviet-occupied, awful, you know, poor oppressed
00:26:38.280
people, a million people show up and say, we want God, we want God.
00:26:43.040
This is a place that has been saving Western civilization, going back to the Battle of Vienna,
00:26:50.180
And what they're saying is, look, we have this view that's a Christian view, and so we
00:26:55.100
don't want to have the view that's this radical leftist view.
00:26:58.500
And now the European Union, which is a liberal empire, it's not a Christian empire, it's a
00:27:03.080
liberal empire, is saying, okay, then we're going to cut you off.
00:27:13.100
This is relating to what we were talking about with Afghanistan.
00:27:19.020
There were a lot of conservatives who said, we should pull out of Afghanistan because we
00:27:25.280
And it brought up a debate over nationalism versus imperialism.
00:27:33.000
And then even on the empire, what is our empire?
00:27:38.100
I think it's about, you know, pride flags in Kandahar.
00:27:45.480
It became about all these sort of liberal ideas and people don't like that.
00:27:54.980
Afghanistan, I don't think, likes that very much.
00:27:59.460
I think the Taliban are finally going to lose the support of liberals.
00:28:04.300
Not because of what they're doing to women or not even, not because of what they're doing
00:28:16.100
The Taliban painted over a mural of George Floyd.
00:28:21.900
Oh, you, oh, you're, we're probably going to end up nuking the Taliban before the day
00:28:26.860
You can't, you can do a lot, but you can't paint over a mural of George, St. George.
00:28:35.000
There's actually a very good reason why they're painting over the mural.
00:28:38.760
I mean, it's funny that it's ridiculous that there are murals to George Floyd, but the reason
00:28:43.120
they're painting over the mural is because George Floyd is a, is a symbol of Western imperialism.
00:28:51.800
George Floyd and the rainbow flag, which they flew over the embassy in Kabul.
00:28:59.960
And we think that's weird here in the West because in many ways, those are symbols that
00:29:07.640
The, the George Floyd mural, the BLM ideology is, is a, an ideology that states that the West
00:29:15.200
The pride flag is a, is a symbol that says that Christianity is wrong.
00:29:21.420
It's a symbol that says that our traditional views of sex are wrong.
00:29:23.700
And yet those are both still symbols of the West.
00:29:29.160
They're not associated with any other civilization and they're making universal claims about every
00:29:33.220
place on earth, including Afghanistan, which is why they don't like it.
00:29:37.220
No doubt CNN is going to accuse the Taliban of white supremacy.
00:29:42.300
They, they, these, these Pashtun militants, they're such white, Pashtun white supremacists.
00:29:48.040
Well, they actually are making that argument indirectly right now.
00:29:55.880
I don't recommend people go look at CNN usually, but you gotta, you gotta look at this one.
00:30:07.300
You saw the, the first volley a couple of weeks ago when the LA Times called Larry Elder,
00:30:18.240
And now CNN is getting on board and they're saying that white supremacy is just so embedded
00:30:25.340
in the fabric of America that even when black people get a lot of political power more than
00:30:31.080
they have now, it will still be white supremacy.
00:30:33.480
They said, quote, don't ever underestimate white supremacy's ability to adapt.
00:30:37.540
The assumption that more racial diversity equals more racial equality is a dangerous myth.
00:30:41.900
Racial diversity can function as a cloaking device, concealing the most powerful forms
00:30:48.280
of white supremacy while giving the appearance of racial progress.
00:30:52.500
Racism will likely be just as entrenched in a, in a browner America as it is now.
00:30:59.560
So you see, even if every political office is held by black people, even if whites are second
00:31:11.240
or third class citizens, even if America knocks down every statue of every white person and
00:31:18.360
all the statues are black, even then it will be white supremacy, white supremacy through black
00:31:26.860
people. This is sort of like Joe Biden's climate change claim, right? Joe Biden says, look, we're
00:31:35.000
it's climate change is so bad. We can't even stop it. If climate change is already here, we're living
00:31:39.700
in it. Okay. Then who cares? Then who cares? There's nothing to do, right? It's Joe Biden undermining
00:31:47.140
his own argument. Okay. There's not, that's just the way it is. There is, it is unfixable,
00:31:52.080
irredeemable. It's done. Okay. All right. Then whatever, man, it's weight off my shoulders.
00:31:57.140
I don't need to worry about recycling anymore or anything because it's already here. So who cares?
00:32:00.980
I guess the same is true of white supremacy. There is, according to CNN, literally nothing
00:32:07.080
you can do. You can kill all the white people. You can give all of their property and all of their
00:32:12.060
power to black people. It will still be white supremacy. Okay. So I'm just not worried about it
00:32:16.300
then because there's nothing we can do. Of course, I mean, it's preposterous, but this actually,
00:32:23.420
the phrase critical race theory is somewhat overused, but this is a good example of critical
00:32:27.080
race theory because critical race theory is a, is a Marxist lens to attack all of American and really
00:32:33.320
Western history. And it's really tied up also in, in economics. So, so some of the foundational
00:32:39.540
essays of critical race theory will say that our system of private property in the United States
00:32:45.040
is part of white supremacy, right? Communist systems, not white supremacist, but capitalism,
00:32:52.060
white supremacist. And they put that in the CNN article too. They say, quote, Cuba also has a
00:32:56.340
complex history with race. Racism is often described as a relic of capitalism in the communist countries.
00:33:01.320
This is very funny because Cuba is pretty racist. Okay. I've visited Cuba. I love Cuba, but it's,
00:33:07.020
you know, they don't, there's, there are sexual, sexual, there are racial tensions there as well,
00:33:11.840
but it's a communist country and it has been for 60 years. So, huh? What's going on there? Oh,
00:33:16.100
okay. It's, that's why it's a relic of capitalism. Oh, okay. All the bad stuff is a relic of capitalism.
00:33:23.360
All the good stuff is part of communism. All the bad stuff in society is white people,
00:33:28.840
even when there are no white people left. And all the good stuff is black people,
00:33:33.220
even if white people did some of it. Okay. Okay. That makes sense.
00:33:37.020
Okay. Is this persuading anybody? Is anybody looking at this article and saying, yes, Larry
00:33:43.880
Elder, he is, he is a Klansman. He is just like Robert Byrd, Senator Byrd, who was a Democrat,
00:33:52.000
but who's, who was secretly a Republican probably. Does anyone buy that? I can't imagine that they do.
00:33:59.460
And I think the Democrats actually are getting a little bit nervous here. Gavin Newsom
00:34:02.980
facing, you know, a recall threat from that black face of white supremacy. Last month,
00:34:09.840
he spent more than $36 million fighting this recall effort. This included a ton of TV ads. I'm talking
00:34:17.580
to my friends who are, who are in California. They're being inundated with Gavin Newsom ads,
00:34:22.780
a lot of phone banking, a lot of door knocking, a lot of texting. The five top Republicans who are
00:34:29.520
running to replace Newsom and the pro recall committees combined spent less than a third as
00:34:36.860
much over the same period of time. They also face certain limits on their spending, whereas Gavin
00:34:41.640
Newsom does not. That's one way in which the election is rigged. So he obviously is worried
00:34:47.860
as he should be. And by the way, there, there are so much rigging going on right now in the
00:34:53.160
California election. So you've seen the ballots that went out with holes poked in them and the
00:34:58.480
holes are presumably or ostensibly for sorting purposes or whatever for some security measure
00:35:06.000
that eludes a lot of people. But the way that the circles that are punched out are aligned on the
00:35:12.360
envelope, they go exactly over the yes circle for yes, recall Governor Newsom. So if someone votes
00:35:20.660
to recall Newsom, in many cases, you can see it from, from the outside of the envelope. Just a
00:35:26.360
coincidence, I'm sure, right? I know many people personally who have gotten multiple ballots because
00:35:33.900
of widespread automatic mail-in in this election. I think I, I got a ballot, I believe. A number of my
00:35:40.260
friends who have moved to Tennessee who have, who have requested not to receive a ballot, they've
00:35:43.640
received ballots too, because the Democrats are trying to cheat. And even still, they're terrified
00:35:47.080
they're going to lose. Why? Because the Democrats generally are collapsing in terms of public opinion.
00:35:54.700
Joe Biden's approval ratings are in free fall in, not just, not just nationally, but in seven key
00:36:04.500
districts. This is a really bad. This is according to a poll from the American Action Network that,
00:36:13.700
that Americans are really not pleased with this. And seven key districts is very important because
00:36:18.400
we're not just looking at the recall in California right now. We're not just looking at 2024.
00:36:23.100
We're looking at 2022. If Republicans can take back that house and hopefully the Senate, but even just
00:36:34.340
the house, then, then much of the Biden agenda is dead. The most radical aspects of it are dead.
00:36:41.800
Much like some have suggested the president seems to be. It's over. There's no, there's no chance that
00:36:48.000
they will pass. So, so this is their last shot to make things happen. And unfortunately, the Democrats
00:36:54.240
agenda right now is not very popular. Now, the, the, the key question is going to be, will the
00:37:02.320
elections be fair? Will they be free? Will they be fair in 2022? The elections were not fair in 2020.
00:37:08.200
The Democrats rigged the elections by taking away election integrity measures. Okay. Even the Republicans
00:37:13.460
who say it was not stolen, nothing was stolen. Don't ever say it was stolen. It was totally fair.
00:37:18.860
But, you know, Biden got all every, all the votes in the history of the world. Even those Republicans
00:37:22.980
who are very insistent that the election was not stolen will admit, especially if you ask them
00:37:29.940
privately, it was obviously rigged. In Pennsylvania, they violated the state constitution to conduct the
00:37:36.140
election. They sent out the widespread mail-in votes, which even Obama said is, is a grave threat
00:37:41.380
to election integrity. Some places, poll watchers were not allowed a ton of access. The, the, the
00:37:46.780
count was halted. It was strange. It took days and weeks. There was double counting that went on just
00:37:51.820
in Georgia, just in the one place we looked for it. So yeah, there were big problems, of course.
00:37:56.940
Good news on that front too. Texas just passed an election integrity bill. The bill,
00:38:01.660
it just instituted a ban on drive-through voting, just instituted a ban on round the clock voting,
00:38:07.660
added an ID requirement for mail-in and absentee ballots. That's good. Established a training
00:38:12.800
program for poll watchers who can now be more active in monitoring the process. They don't
00:38:17.420
have to just stay locked in their chair. It requires the Texas secretary of state to maintain
00:38:22.780
consistently updated voter rolls so that when people leave Texas, very few people are doing
00:38:27.440
that today anyway. But you see it in California, when people leave a state, they're not permitted to
00:38:33.740
continue to receive a vote, to continue to receive a ballot. This is good. If anything,
00:38:39.020
I think that this election integrity bill is a little too modest. I wish it went much further.
00:38:42.920
What it did is restore common sense election integrity measures that we had even a couple
00:38:47.880
years ago in most places. But it's a good start. If we can have measures like that throughout the
00:38:53.380
country, then I think that it'll be much harder for Democrats to cheat. I think if the election is
00:38:58.500
free and fair in 2022, I think Republicans are going to do extremely well. Even on the allegedly
00:39:04.680
controversial issues like the Texas abortion law, even on those issues, the Republican policies are
00:39:12.640
pretty popular. There's another poll out. You know, I'm always skeptical of polls, especially
00:39:17.380
because most polls skew Democrat because social science and statistics generally skews in that
00:39:22.880
direction. It comes from, statistics come from statism, right? From the state, but neither here
00:39:28.960
nor there. I'm happy to cite polls when they back up what I'm, what I'm hoping for. And there's a poll
00:39:33.680
in Texas that shows that the plurality of voters support the Texas abortion law. According to a
00:39:41.900
Rasmussen survey, Rasmussen is a right-leaning poll firm, but they got a great record. A plurality of
00:39:47.860
voters support pro-life law in Texas. So that's 46% support the law compared to 43% who oppose the law.
00:39:56.200
This is mostly on party lines. So 70% of Republicans support it. 69% of Democrats oppose it. And a
00:40:02.380
plurality of independents support it as well, 44%. So we're not saying it's the majority. It'd be better
00:40:07.800
if it were the majority, but it is the plurality. In terms of opinions on the law, the pro-life,
00:40:16.020
pro-life, pro-pro-life law position contains the most people. And so in that environment,
00:40:25.520
the left's only option is to censor, to censor and cheat. And that's what they're doing right now.
00:40:31.340
Twitter just suspended the official press account of J.D. Vance. J.D. Vance is running for Senate in
00:40:37.840
Ohio. He's running on a very trad conservative platform. I don't know how else to put it. He's
00:40:44.420
the author of Hillbilly Elegy, and he's ditching the kind of chamber of commerce, Wall Street,
00:40:52.320
you know, just lower taxes and let the left run the culture kind of talking points that we've heard
00:40:57.300
from Republicans over recent decades. He's leaning much more into social issues, much more into
00:41:02.060
cultural issues, much more into working class appeal. People are accusing J.D. Vance of being
00:41:07.900
inauthentic here. I'm not making a comment one way or the other. I'm just pointing out
00:41:12.420
that's where his campaign is going. And the left sees that as the genuine threat. The left is not
00:41:18.720
threatened by libertarians. The left is not threatened by neoconservatives. They're just
00:41:22.980
not. Because in many ways, they all share the same premises. The left is threatened by a traditional
00:41:29.000
conservative appeal to the American people, to the American worker in particular. So they boot him off.
00:41:36.400
J.D.'s personal account is still up there, but the press account is gone. J.D. says,
00:41:40.620
no warning, no explanation of what rules I allegedly broke. But this is what happens when
00:41:44.460
we allow five companies to control what we're allowed to say. And he's right. He's right. And
00:41:49.860
you kind of knew that this would happen, by the way. So there are the court jester conservatives,
00:41:53.960
the dweebs who say, well, just build your own Twitter. Well, what? If you don't like that Google
00:41:57.800
is controlling all of the speech in our public square? Well, maybe you should build your own
00:42:02.040
Google, even though Google, by the way, is like part of the government. Google and the government
00:42:07.220
have many business interests together. The government has helped to fund parts of Google.
00:42:12.700
Google is operating as a sort of proxy arm of the government, especially with regard to censorship.
00:42:19.700
So if you run for office, but you don't threaten any of the entrenched interests,
00:42:23.780
even as a Republican, you're probably fine. You're a clown, but you're, you know, you'll be fine in terms
00:42:28.760
of pushback. But if you run and you actually threaten these companies and these entrenched
00:42:33.780
interests, then they're going to go after you. JD put it well. He said, I'm a Senate candidate in
00:42:39.400
Ohio. This was my campaign account. To me, this is election interference, a multinational corporation
00:42:44.300
making it harder for me to communicate with the people of Ohio. Absolutely true. You saw this happen
00:42:49.040
on January 7th when Twitter and Facebook and Google censored even the duly elected sitting president of
00:42:58.220
the United States, showing where power really lies in this country. An important part of my book,
00:43:05.280
Speechless, Controlling Words, Controlling Minds. I also have to mention another book, by the way.
00:43:09.620
This has been a big year for me and books with words. Before that, I was only focused on books
00:43:13.920
without words, but now I'm focused on books with words. I was very honored to be asked to write
00:43:20.380
the introduction to God and Man at Yale. God and Man at Yale is the first book by William F. Buckley,
00:43:26.240
Jr. It is widely credited with starting the conservative movement. It's an attack on atheism
00:43:32.300
and communism in the academy. It's sort of the OG book on this topic. The subtitle is The Superstitions
00:43:38.440
of Academic Freedom. It's a terrific book. I was very honored to be able to write the introduction to
00:43:45.100
the 70th anniversary edition. To me, this is very encouraging for the conservative movement because
00:43:51.520
it shows that I think that the conservative movement broadly is recognizing the errors of
00:43:56.200
the past couple decades. We're seeing we need to return to tradition. We need to return to a more
00:44:00.980
muscular, beefy, substantive conservatism. And so I'm really honored and happy to be a part of that.
00:44:07.120
You can get that book right now. Amazon is not really letting it show up in the search results
00:44:11.180
too much. So if you want to get it, I've got links on my Twitter and things like that. But you can
00:44:16.240
also, if you search it on Amazon, God and man at Yale, just when you order the search,
00:44:22.940
instead of order, price low to high, price high to low, order average reviews, click on newest
00:44:29.440
arrivals. And then that'll pop up to the top. It's shipping right now. Really happy to do it. Great
00:44:34.000
admirer of Bill Buckley. So I'm really pleased about all of that. So that's where the conservative
00:44:40.400
movement stands, very excited, very encouraging, but we've still got a huge uphill battle because
00:44:45.980
the left is going to try to cheat that we're fighting back on that with election integrity
00:44:50.020
laws. The left is going to try to censor. We're fighting back on that by trying to rein in these
00:44:54.480
corporations. Finally, will we be successful? We'll find out. And the other way they try to cheat
00:44:58.980
is by flooding the country with illegal aliens. But even that is not going particularly well
00:45:06.860
for Democrats. It's difficult to date and identify the remains of people who died trying to sneak
00:45:15.500
into our country. But it appears that 2020, the last year of the Trump administration, was the
00:45:23.340
deadliest year in the history of the Southern border until this past year. The Border Patrol agents have
00:45:31.700
already found 253 people near the U.S.-Mexico border. That was last year. Rather, this year,
00:45:39.220
they've already found just through July, they found 383 people. That's 151% increase. The year isn't even
00:45:44.900
close to done yet. That's really bad news for Biden because at least Trump was trying to reduce the
00:45:50.660
number of illegal aliens coming through. Joe Biden is trying to increase it. He's encouraging people to
00:45:54.880
come across and has encouraged people to come across. And this is supposed to be nice, right? This is
00:45:59.980
supposed to be compassionate. It doesn't look compassionate to me. You've got the decomposing
00:46:04.620
bodies of illegal aliens coming through, desperate people coming through because crass and opportunistic
00:46:12.360
and cynical politicians like Joe Biden are calling for it. Do you think that's going to look good?
00:46:17.060
I don't think so. I think it's another optics failure for the Biden administration. And it's an
00:46:21.120
optics failure because, not because it's giving the appearance of something that isn't true. It's
00:46:26.260
because we're seeing the reality of what these policies look like. A total failure on every
00:46:32.360
count. Really bad news for Biden. Sad for America right now, but potentially encouraging
00:46:38.440
for the future. I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael Knowles Show. I'll see you tomorrow.
