00:00:30.340 After an illegal alien harassed U.S. Senator Kirsten Sinema yesterday in a women's bathroom 0.99

00:00:35.680 at Arizona State University, you might think they would have tightened up her security.

00:00:42.200 But no, another illegal alien, also in no fear whatsoever of facing punishment

00:00:48.000 for the crime that she is presently committing, harassed Senator Sinema on an airplane. 1.00

00:00:54.020 I just want to know if you can commit, as my senator,

00:00:58.520 as if you can commit to passing a reconciliation

00:01:03.040 that could provide a pathway to citizenship for immigrants.

00:01:09.320 We have been waiting for this for too long.

00:01:12.000 I just need to know if you can commit to passing a budget reconciliation

00:01:16.580 that would include immigration and citizenship

00:01:19.540 for people to be protected, like me and many others.

00:01:25.920 Can you commit to that, Senator?

00:01:27.720 I'm just asking you a simple question.

00:01:35.580 I'm being vulnerable right now to you.

00:01:38.600 My dad passed away.

00:01:39.680 My dad passed away last year, and he didn't get to reunite with my family.

00:01:47.480 I don't want to disturb you, but at the same time,

00:01:49.940 I just want to see if I can get a commitment from you, Senator.

00:01:53.100 This is deeply offensive, not just to Senator Sinema,

00:01:58.360 to the American people and to our system of government.

00:02:02.840 This foreign woman is making a mockery of our borders and our laws 1.00

00:02:07.800 and our democracy and whatever else,

00:02:10.840 whatever other slogans we hear that the left embraces,

00:02:14.100 they don't seem to enact them.

00:02:16.820 Lots of other things here too.

00:02:19.100 Law enforcement, though, the media,

00:02:21.760 the entire liberal establishment,

00:02:23.440 they won't do a thing about it.

00:02:25.440 Because in reality, they're all on the same side 0.83

00:02:28.720 as the kooky foreigners. 1.00

00:02:30.200 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:02:30.920 This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:02:39.260 Welcome back to the show.

00:02:40.200 My favorite comment yesterday from TheGamerOdin,

00:02:42.620 who says,

00:02:43.320 I love that they filmed themselves both admitting to being undocumented,

00:02:47.200 meaning illegal aliens,

00:02:48.600 and illegally filming in a bathroom.

00:02:51.860 Yes, two crimes.

00:02:52.940 And this was the video yesterday

00:02:55.540 when these kooks followed Sinema into the bathroom. 1.00

00:02:58.860 They do it because they don't have any fear of being held to account.

00:03:02.580 They know they can flout our laws.

00:03:04.280 They can flout even the laws that prevent you from chasing women into the bathroom. 1.00

00:03:07.860 And no one's going to stop them.

00:03:09.600 Who's going to stop?

00:03:10.220 Biden's going to stop them.

00:03:11.120 I don't think so.

00:03:12.520 Means you really ought to protect yourself,

00:03:14.400 which is why I would strongly recommend ExpressVPN.

00:03:17.480 If you are not using a VPN right now,

00:03:19.680 you need to start.

00:03:20.540 Right now, just go ExpressVPN,

00:03:22.520 download it,

00:03:23.260 you get it on your web browser,

00:03:25.600 you get it on your phone,

00:03:26.440 you click a button,

00:03:27.220 it's done.

00:03:27.800 It's really easy, okay?

00:03:29.000 To stop people from seeing the sites that you visit,

00:03:32.340 you need to do what I do

00:03:33.480 and use ExpressVPN.

00:03:35.740 Without ExpressVPN,

00:03:37.320 every site you visit could be logged

00:03:38.940 by the administrator of that network.

00:03:40.680 And that's still true even when you're in incognito mode, okay?

00:03:44.360 You close the blinds,

00:03:45.280 you look out,

00:03:45.780 you say,

00:03:46.160 oh, no one's going to see what I'm looking at.

00:03:47.900 www.dailywire.com.

00:03:49.720 No, they actually will know.

00:03:51.120 Your home internet provider can also see and record your browsing data.

00:03:54.200 And in the U.S.,

00:03:54.900 they're legally allowed to sell that data to advertisers.

00:03:59.120 ExpressVPN,

00:03:59.760 it's an app that encrypts all of your network data,

00:04:02.640 reroutes it through a network of secure servers

00:04:05.320 so that your private online activity stays just that.

00:04:09.360 Private.

00:04:10.020 Super duper easy to use.

00:04:11.460 Stop letting strangers invade your online privacy.

00:04:14.220 Protect yourself at expressvpn.com slash Michael.

00:04:17.260 Use my link, expressvpn.com slash Michael.

00:04:24.740 So, this clip is part of a series.

00:04:28.420 I can't help but imagine

00:04:30.100 that there's some coordination here.

00:04:32.520 These, the illegal alien in the bathroom 1.00

00:04:34.360 and the one on the airplane saying the same sorts of things.

00:04:36.600 You know, my family died and my family is outside of the country

00:04:40.260 because we're foreigners and we're not Americans.

00:04:42.880 But I couldn't go visit them

00:04:44.600 because then it would be hard to sneak back into this country illegally.

00:04:47.940 And so, you need to just give me citizenship

00:04:50.160 after I broke your laws

00:04:52.040 so that I can go visit my relatives in other countries

00:04:54.820 and then come back here whenever I want.

00:04:56.800 And this woman refers to herself as DACA.

00:05:01.880 DACA.

00:05:02.600 You know, DACA is the dreamers 1.00

00:05:04.260 and the entire idea of the dreamers is that they're just little kids.

00:05:09.140 It's not their fault.

00:05:10.340 They're just little kids.

00:05:11.440 And what are you going to do?

00:05:12.040 You're going to deport a six-year-old?

00:05:13.860 That woman doesn't look like a six-year-old to me. 1.00

00:05:17.060 How long do we have to keep calling them dreamers

00:05:19.380 like they're 10 years old?

00:05:21.000 When they have grandchildren, can we stop calling them?

00:05:23.080 I think some of them do have grandchildren, actually.

00:05:25.660 But they're the dreamers.

00:05:27.420 They're the special dreamers.

00:05:28.940 And that's why we've got to reward them for breaking our laws.

00:05:32.400 And we have to reward them for chasing female senators into the bathroom. 1.00

00:05:35.960 We have to reward them for making a nuisance of themselves on airplanes.

00:05:38.540 And we have to reward them for making a mockery of our system of laws

00:05:41.800 and our borders and our country

00:05:43.060 because they're the special dreamers.

00:05:45.360 And everyone else, they're not allowed to have dreams.

00:05:47.020 That's the idea.

00:05:48.440 It is very, very offensive

00:05:49.980 and very, very wrong

00:05:51.660 and very, very unjust

00:05:53.220 and not particularly compassionate

00:05:55.140 that these people aren't being deported.

00:05:59.000 Okay?

00:05:59.460 Now we have...

00:06:00.580 By the way, I don't know if you weren't watching that clip. 0.99

00:06:02.920 This lunatic woman 1.00

00:06:04.580 is filming down Kyrsten Sinema's blouse, 0.99

00:06:07.740 another invasion of privacy.

00:06:09.400 So that's what we're going to do.

00:06:11.020 Because of the special dreamers

00:06:12.500 and the special compassion that they deserve, 0.98

00:06:15.000 we're going to let lunatics 0.99

00:06:16.800 break multiple laws 0.99

00:06:18.740 and film down senators' blouses. 1.00

00:06:21.140 That's a good idea, right?

00:06:22.160 Hey, Joe Biden,

00:06:22.780 what are you going to do about this?

00:06:23.820 Well, Joe Biden was asked that question

00:06:25.320 by a reporter

00:06:26.300 and he shrugged it off.

00:06:27.300 He said, eh,

00:06:27.720 happens to everyone.

00:06:29.160 Mr. President,

00:06:29.860 just once,

00:06:30.340 Mr. President,

00:06:31.120 you're talking about how you have

00:06:32.600 48 Democratic votes right now.

00:06:35.620 The other two

00:06:36.300 have been pressured over the weekend

00:06:38.440 by activists.

00:06:39.880 Joe Manchin had people

00:06:41.000 on kayaks

00:06:42.020 show up to his boat,

00:06:43.600 T.L. Adam.

00:06:44.400 Senator Sinema last night

00:06:45.440 was chased into a restroom.

00:06:47.200 Do you think that those tactics

00:06:49.100 are crossing a line?

00:06:51.320 I don't think they're appropriate tactics,

00:06:52.860 but it happens to everybody.

00:06:54.900 The only people

00:06:56.640 it doesn't happen to

00:06:57.400 are people

00:06:57.800 who have secret service

00:06:59.420 standing around them.

00:07:01.100 So it's part of the process.

00:07:04.280 It's a part of the process.

00:07:05.980 So what Biden is trying to do here

00:07:07.700 is he's trying to say,

00:07:08.440 look,

00:07:08.880 public figures get hate mail,

00:07:11.140 public figures

00:07:11.880 sometimes get accosted in public.

00:07:13.840 That's just the way that it goes, okay?

00:07:15.660 It's no big deal.

00:07:16.420 He's right about that.

00:07:17.940 It's true.

00:07:18.360 If you are in any way

00:07:19.080 a public figure,

00:07:19.820 you will,

00:07:20.460 at least on occasion,

00:07:21.760 be accosted by letter,

00:07:23.700 by email,

00:07:24.480 or in person.

00:07:27.100 Usually, though,

00:07:28.160 you're not accosted in a bathroom.

00:07:30.020 You're not followed into a bathroom.

00:07:32.260 And I guess now,

00:07:34.440 usually,

00:07:35.080 it does involve foreign nationals,

00:07:36.780 but it shouldn't.

00:07:37.420 This is a very simple problem to fix. 0.94

00:07:39.440 Deport these criminals. 0.98

00:07:41.320 Deport these people 1.00

00:07:42.140 who should not be here. 0.95

00:07:43.020 Just enforce the laws

00:07:44.680 that have been on our books

00:07:45.640 for decades and decades and decades.

00:07:47.640 Just do that,

00:07:48.720 and then the senator

00:07:49.560 won't get harassed in the bathroom.

00:07:51.920 If you,

00:07:52.900 Joe Biden,

00:07:53.680 just did

00:07:54.520 the very,

00:07:55.660 very bare minimum

00:07:56.920 of your job,

00:07:58.980 she would not be getting harassed

00:08:00.440 by these people

00:08:01.040 in the bathroom

00:08:01.680 and on airplanes.

00:08:03.260 But Joe Biden's not doing it. 0.56

00:08:04.620 Is it just because he's incompetent?

00:08:06.060 No. 1.00

00:08:06.380 He is incompetent, 0.98

00:08:07.300 but it's not just because 1.00

00:08:08.300 he's incompetent. 0.90

00:08:09.100 He's shrugging this off 0.99

00:08:10.240 because he is on the same side.

00:08:12.000 I actually don't mean

00:08:12.840 to scapegoat the illegal aliens.

00:08:14.400 They shouldn't be here 0.93

00:08:15.000 and they should leave, 0.95

00:08:15.980 but the illegal aliens 0.94

00:08:17.820 are actually a pawn

00:08:18.740 being used by the Democratic Party

00:08:20.860 to try to achieve

00:08:22.240 a permanent electoral majority

00:08:23.720 and to undermine

00:08:24.600 the most basic laws of the country

00:08:25.880 and to overturn

00:08:26.660 the American culture

00:08:27.480 and upend it.

00:08:28.080 That is what they're being used for.

00:08:30.020 That's why these people

00:08:31.220 are being permitted in

00:08:32.220 and being told

00:08:33.480 that they need to be put

00:08:34.460 on a pathway of citizenship.

00:08:36.660 This routine

00:08:37.720 that we're seeing here

00:08:38.700 is a good cop,

00:08:40.120 bad cop routine, okay?

00:08:41.840 The foreign nationals 0.95

00:08:43.520 in the bathroom

00:08:44.080 and on the airplane,

00:08:45.480 they're the bad cop.

00:08:46.540 Joe Biden,

00:08:47.040 he's the good cop.

00:08:47.680 Look, look,

00:08:48.140 it just happens to everybody.

00:08:50.120 Happens to everybody, Joe.

00:08:51.360 Come on.

00:08:52.220 Come on, Jack.

00:08:52.800 Listen up.

00:08:53.480 I'm being serious here.

00:08:54.340 Just vote for the bill.

00:08:56.460 Come on.

00:08:57.040 You don't want this

00:08:57.460 to keep happening to you?

00:08:58.960 Sure would be a shame

00:08:59.700 if people kept coming

00:09:00.380 into the bathroom

00:09:00.960 and filming you down your blouse,

00:09:02.800 Kirsten Sinema.

00:09:03.360 Wouldn't it be a shame?

00:09:04.660 Vote for the bill.

00:09:05.980 That's the implication here.

00:09:08.120 It's a good cop,

00:09:08.760 bad cop routine.

00:09:09.680 You're seeing it

00:09:10.200 played out

00:09:11.140 not just between Biden

00:09:12.060 and these people

00:09:12.560 in the bathroom,

00:09:13.240 but with the media,

00:09:15.280 with big technology,

00:09:16.500 with the universities,

00:09:18.420 with the schools.

00:09:19.300 Don't forget

00:09:19.740 the first incident

00:09:20.380 in the bathroom

00:09:20.840 took place at ASU.

00:09:22.700 This is a taxpayer-funded

00:09:25.320 public university.

00:09:27.340 Why are foreign nationals 1.00

00:09:28.640 even permitted on campus?

00:09:30.700 Why?

00:09:31.540 That doesn't make

00:09:32.160 a lot of sense to me.

00:09:34.040 Well,

00:09:34.580 because they're sort of American.

00:09:35.600 They're undocumented Americans.

00:09:38.060 They're not.

00:09:39.420 They are undocumented foreigners. 0.99

00:09:41.820 They are undocumented citizens

00:09:43.100 of other countries.

00:09:44.460 If I just traipsed into Guatemala

00:09:46.720 and I went to Guatemala U,

00:09:48.680 I would probably be arrested.

00:09:51.180 Almost certainly,

00:09:51.760 I would be arrested.

00:09:53.820 But the other way

00:09:57.080 does not quite work.

00:09:58.200 The woman who did this yesterday,

00:10:00.500 Sofia Marjanovic,

00:10:02.560 just writes out,

00:10:03.340 I will speak about the controversy

00:10:05.960 regarding following

00:10:06.760 Senator Sinema

00:10:07.380 into the bathroom

00:10:08.020 when I have the time.

00:10:10.300 None of you have a right

00:10:11.940 to tone police

00:10:13.000 my desperate demands

00:10:14.740 for labor protections

00:10:15.960 after what I've endured,

00:10:17.340 blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

00:10:18.780 None of you have the right

00:10:19.580 to tone police me,

00:10:20.900 she says,

00:10:21.320 because we're saying,

00:10:21.900 you know,

00:10:22.120 hey,

00:10:22.640 even people on the left,

00:10:23.800 by the way,

00:10:24.080 are saying,

00:10:24.420 oh, maybe you shouldn't.

00:10:25.540 It's not good to follow

00:10:26.240 the women into the bathroom. 0.99

00:10:27.420 None of you have the right

00:10:28.120 to tone police me.

00:10:29.400 Not only do we have

00:10:30.400 the right to tone police you,

00:10:32.200 we have the right

00:10:32.820 to police you.

00:10:34.080 We have the right

00:10:34.800 to arrest you

00:10:35.720 and kick you out of the country 0.93

00:10:37.440 because you don't belong here. 0.77

00:10:38.960 And this isn't your country

00:10:39.980 and the American citizens,

00:10:41.880 I think,

00:10:42.160 still have some right

00:10:43.120 to decide

00:10:43.860 who gets to come in

00:10:44.920 and use their government services

00:10:46.220 and interfere in their elections

00:10:47.500 as you admitted that you did.

00:10:49.340 Don't we have that right?

00:10:50.540 Isn't that the basic,

00:10:52.220 the basic building block

00:10:54.980 of our democracy

00:10:56.040 as the left loves to describe it?

00:10:59.140 I thought so.

00:11:00.100 Maybe not.

00:11:02.500 We certainly do have that right.

00:11:06.000 But I don't know if you know this.

00:11:08.760 The immigrants have no problems.

00:11:10.660 There are no problems

00:11:11.340 with them whatsoever.

00:11:12.400 Illegal aliens, 1.00

00:11:13.220 they don't commit any crime.

00:11:14.200 They don't take

00:11:14.600 any government benefits.

00:11:15.540 They don't even spread COVID.

00:11:17.880 This according to Dr. Anthony Fauci.

00:11:19.860 Dr. Fauci,

00:11:20.680 a new Kaiser Family Foundation poll

00:11:22.880 asked Americans this week

00:11:24.180 what they thought

00:11:24.820 the major reasons

00:11:26.080 for high coronavirus spread are

00:11:28.000 and the top reason

00:11:28.840 that Republicans gave

00:11:30.000 in this poll

00:11:30.660 was immigrants

00:11:31.920 and tourists

00:11:33.220 bringing COVID-19

00:11:34.320 into the U.S.

00:11:35.880 Are immigrants

00:11:36.940 a major reason

00:11:38.080 why COVID-19

00:11:38.940 is spreading in the U.S.?

00:11:42.080 No, absolutely not, Dan.

00:11:44.140 I mean,

00:11:44.380 if you just look at the data

00:11:45.860 and look at the people

00:11:46.940 who've gotten infected,

00:11:48.180 look at the people

00:11:48.900 who are in the hospital,

00:11:50.360 look at the people

00:11:51.100 who've died,

00:11:52.320 this is not driven

00:11:53.360 by immigrants.

00:11:54.280 This is the problem

00:11:55.520 within our country

00:11:57.060 the same way

00:11:57.980 it's a problem

00:11:59.120 with other countries

00:12:00.300 throughout the world.

00:12:03.500 Just look at the data, Dana.

00:12:05.800 I can't look at the data

00:12:06.980 because the people

00:12:07.840 that we're talking about

00:12:08.680 by definition

00:12:09.280 don't have any papers.

00:12:10.540 They don't have any documents.

00:12:11.640 We're not processing them.

00:12:13.580 They're illegal aliens. 0.88

00:12:14.920 So you're telling me

00:12:15.680 that the triple-vaxxed

00:12:17.400 suburban mom

00:12:18.440 in the middle of the country

00:12:20.320 who wears 15 masks

00:12:21.460 on her face,

00:12:22.340 she very likely 0.79

00:12:23.740 will spread COVID

00:12:24.480 to everyone

00:12:24.980 and that's why

00:12:25.440 she has to lock down

00:12:26.520 and can't go to Christmas.

00:12:27.800 But the illegal alien 0.99

00:12:29.220 crossing the border

00:12:30.360 through very dangerous,

00:12:31.560 filthy circumstances

00:12:32.480 who doesn't have

00:12:33.600 any evidence of a vaccine,

00:12:34.740 doesn't wear a mask,

00:12:35.500 doesn't do any of that,

00:12:36.440 that guy can't spread COVID.

00:12:38.380 That, according to

00:12:39.260 Dr. Anthony Fauci,

00:12:40.380 just look at the data.

00:12:43.180 You know,

00:12:44.000 some people

00:12:44.780 still don't know

00:12:45.980 what time it is.

00:12:47.020 They're still using

00:12:47.940 all these old

00:12:48.440 outdated talking points.

00:12:49.500 They don't know

00:12:49.740 what time it is.

00:12:50.320 When you want to know

00:12:50.860 what time it is,

00:12:51.820 I would recommend

00:12:52.340 you go check out

00:12:53.060 Movement.

00:12:54.040 I love

00:12:54.720 a nice time piece,

00:12:56.420 okay?

00:12:56.800 I have worn watches

00:12:58.700 and been fascinated

00:13:00.040 by watches

00:13:00.660 since I was

00:13:01.880 eight years old

00:13:03.760 and I am so honored

00:13:05.460 that one of the

00:13:06.160 first advertisers

00:13:07.120 we ever had

00:13:07.720 on this show

00:13:08.200 was Movement.

00:13:09.400 In a tiny apartment

00:13:10.280 in Southern California,

00:13:11.200 two college dropouts

00:13:12.040 teamed up

00:13:12.600 to create a watch company

00:13:13.920 with fair prices,

00:13:15.500 unexpected colors,

00:13:16.540 and clean,

00:13:17.140 original designs

00:13:18.420 and Movement grew

00:13:19.200 into one of the

00:13:19.720 fastest growing watch brands

00:13:21.000 in the world,

00:13:22.020 shipping two

00:13:22.560 over 160 countries

00:13:23.960 around the globe.

00:13:25.540 Now,

00:13:26.180 Movement has expanded

00:13:27.020 into blue light glasses

00:13:28.100 that protect your eyes

00:13:28.880 from screens.

00:13:29.540 I never look at screens now

00:13:31.300 without filtering out

00:13:32.400 that harmful blue light.

00:13:33.460 It's really,

00:13:34.120 really taxing on your eyes.

00:13:36.040 They've got minimalist jewelry.

00:13:37.460 They've got more style essentials

00:13:38.660 that will not break the bank,

00:13:39.920 all designed out of their

00:13:40.680 California headquarters.

00:13:42.280 The Movement watches

00:13:42.880 have the look and quality

00:13:43.840 of a watch you pay

00:13:44.880 $400, $500 for

00:13:46.240 at the department store

00:13:47.360 but costs a fraction

00:13:48.620 of that price

00:13:49.520 because they are controlling it

00:13:51.300 start to finish.

00:13:52.700 They will cut out

00:13:53.640 the middle man.

00:13:54.260 If you want to elevate

00:13:55.180 your look with style

00:13:56.080 that doesn't break the bank,

00:13:57.440 join the Movement.

00:14:05.400 Dr. Fauci

00:14:06.580 was asked

00:14:08.600 about

00:14:09.720 an obvious

00:14:11.260 contradiction

00:14:12.060 within the liberal

00:14:13.140 establishment,

00:14:13.860 which is

00:14:14.360 you're telling us

00:14:16.260 that we need to lock down,

00:14:17.380 we shouldn't really go out.

00:14:18.300 If we do go out,

00:14:18.840 if we go to schools,

00:14:19.660 if we go to work,

00:14:20.280 we should wear a mask,

00:14:21.300 we should use a lot of Purell,

00:14:23.060 we should have a,

00:14:24.100 not just a double vaccine

00:14:25.380 but a triple vaccine

00:14:26.640 and you're not fully vaccinated

00:14:28.140 until you do that

00:14:29.060 and you,

00:14:29.400 you might even have to

00:14:30.420 cancel Christmas.

00:14:31.420 It's too early to tell

00:14:32.460 if we can go to Christmas.

00:14:34.700 Meanwhile,

00:14:35.920 we have

00:14:36.300 historic record numbers

00:14:38.120 of

00:14:38.580 completely undocumented

00:14:40.340 foreigners

00:14:40.880 pouring across

00:14:41.720 our southern border.

00:14:43.220 No evidence

00:14:43.940 that they've had a vaccine,

00:14:45.360 no evidence

00:14:45.860 that they wear masks,

00:14:46.720 no evidence

00:14:47.320 that they're not sick,

00:14:48.020 they just pour across.

00:14:49.820 And Fauci was asked,

00:14:50.940 doesn't that seem

00:14:51.620 a little weird?

00:14:52.160 He says,

00:14:52.460 no,

00:14:52.660 don't worry.

00:14:53.900 Excuse me.

00:14:55.060 No,

00:14:55.560 do not worry.

00:14:56.700 The immigrants 1.00

00:14:57.520 do not spread COVID. 1.00

00:14:59.200 Only you dirty, 1.00

00:15:00.300 filthy Americans. 1.00

00:15:02.200 Only you 1.00

00:15:02.980 American citizens,

00:15:04.820 you spread it

00:15:05.660 so you need to give me

00:15:06.620 all your rights

00:15:07.180 and your way of life

00:15:07.920 but all those foreigners,

00:15:09.460 they're cool,

00:15:10.280 they're clean.

00:15:11.120 Come on in, guys.

00:15:12.420 Come on.

00:15:12.840 Hey,

00:15:13.100 andale,

00:15:13.440 andale,

00:15:13.860 right?

00:15:14.040 That's basically

00:15:14.720 what Fauci

00:15:15.860 is saying.

00:15:17.560 This would seem to be,

00:15:18.840 as is often the case

00:15:19.800 with Dr. Fauci,

00:15:21.320 a political calculation,

00:15:24.200 not a scientific calculation.

00:15:26.920 He's been doing this

00:15:27.600 since day one

00:15:28.240 when he said,

00:15:29.180 don't wear the masks,

00:15:30.640 the masks don't work.

00:15:31.880 Oh,

00:15:32.040 actually,

00:15:32.320 you should wear the masks

00:15:33.140 and I only told you

00:15:33.800 not to wear the masks

00:15:34.560 because I always thought

00:15:35.700 they would work

00:15:36.200 but I was afraid

00:15:36.860 that you peasants

00:15:37.920 would buy them all up

00:15:38.700 and the healthcare workers

00:15:39.440 couldn't get any.

00:15:40.380 But now you have to wear them,

00:15:41.420 right?

00:15:41.740 Dr. Fauci

00:15:42.320 who changes his decisions

00:15:43.680 based on politics

00:15:44.780 rather than on science.

00:15:48.560 Well,

00:15:48.780 Dr. Fauci just flip-flopped again

00:15:50.160 on Christmas.

00:15:51.600 You remember,

00:15:51.960 we played the clip yesterday.

00:15:52.960 Dr. Fauci said,

00:15:54.100 it's too early

00:15:54.640 to know whether or not

00:15:56.240 you can celebrate Christmas

00:15:57.160 with your family this year.

00:15:58.760 So,

00:16:00.200 he got a lot of pushback

00:16:01.260 for this.

00:16:01.640 He goes back on CNN

00:16:02.580 and he says,

00:16:03.340 this is outrageous.

00:16:04.500 I'm being misinterpreted.

00:16:06.040 I never said

00:16:06.900 that you can't celebrate Christmas.

00:16:09.060 You know,

00:16:10.200 I also said something

00:16:11.520 over the weekend

00:16:12.060 that was taken

00:16:12.620 completely out of context.

00:16:14.500 I was asked,

00:16:15.680 what could we predict

00:16:16.940 for this winter

00:16:17.720 for like December

00:16:18.680 and Christmas?

00:16:19.480 I was going to ask you.

00:16:20.980 Yeah,

00:16:21.320 I mean,

00:16:21.600 I say you hold off

00:16:22.800 on that.

00:16:23.700 I said,

00:16:24.500 we don't know

00:16:25.620 because we've seen

00:16:26.700 slopes that went down

00:16:28.180 and then came back up.

00:16:29.900 The best way

00:16:30.560 to assure

00:16:31.300 that we'll be

00:16:32.500 in good shape

00:16:33.200 as we get into the winter

00:16:34.600 would be to get

00:16:35.720 more and more people

00:16:36.460 vaccinated.

00:16:37.100 That was misinterpreted

00:16:39.620 as my saying,

00:16:41.080 we can't spend Christmas

00:16:42.120 with our families,

00:16:43.080 which was absolutely

00:16:44.100 not the case.

00:16:45.740 I will be spending Christmas

00:16:47.080 with my family.

00:16:49.060 I encourage people,

00:16:50.220 particularly the vaccinated people

00:16:51.920 who are protected

00:16:53.020 to have a good,

00:16:54.500 normal Christmas

00:16:55.240 with your family.

00:16:56.760 But just the way

00:16:57.520 all of the other

00:16:58.280 disinformation goes around,

00:17:00.240 you say something

00:17:01.180 talking about

00:17:02.120 a landmark of a time

00:17:03.560 and it gets misinterpreted

00:17:05.180 that I'm saying

00:17:06.260 you can't spend

00:17:07.440 family Christmas time,

00:17:09.220 which is nonsense.

00:17:10.320 You can't.

00:17:11.440 It's all that

00:17:12.200 disinformation

00:17:13.340 that goes around.

00:17:14.340 Seemingly,

00:17:14.780 every time Anthony Fauci

00:17:15.800 opens his mouth,

00:17:16.560 do you notice

00:17:16.900 he contradicted himself

00:17:17.880 in that clip?

00:17:19.320 Just within that clip.

00:17:20.800 He said,

00:17:21.100 I was totally misinterpreted.

00:17:23.240 People were saying

00:17:25.000 that I said

00:17:26.100 that it's too early

00:17:27.980 to know

00:17:28.700 if you can have Christmas.

00:17:29.860 And look,

00:17:30.260 I'm saying,

00:17:30.740 of course,

00:17:31.140 it's too early.

00:17:32.060 We shouldn't be talking

00:17:32.880 about this.

00:17:33.640 We can't know.

00:17:34.700 And that's why

00:17:35.200 I'm definitely

00:17:35.760 going to have Christmas

00:17:36.440 with my family.

00:17:37.320 So which is it?

00:17:37.900 Is it too early to know

00:17:38.780 and you can't make

00:17:39.320 a decision yet?

00:17:40.020 Or will you definitely

00:17:41.100 be having Christmas

00:17:41.860 with your family?

00:17:42.960 Well, I'm sure you will

00:17:43.680 be having Christmas

00:17:44.260 with your family,

00:17:45.020 but will you let

00:17:45.640 the rest of us peasants

00:17:46.720 or the rest of us

00:17:47.440 proles have Christmas?

00:17:49.160 I don't know.

00:17:50.120 What is it, Dr. Fauci?

00:17:51.480 I'm being misinterpreted.

00:17:53.580 You people,

00:17:54.700 it was completely

00:17:55.600 taken out of context.

00:17:56.720 All right,

00:17:56.840 what's the context?

00:17:57.480 Here's the clip.

00:17:58.300 We played it yesterday.

00:17:59.160 It's still pretty fresh

00:17:59.800 in my mind.

00:18:00.660 What did Dr. Fauci say

00:18:02.140 just days ago

00:18:03.280 asked the question,

00:18:04.800 can we have Christmas

00:18:05.580 this year?

00:18:06.520 We can gather for Christmas

00:18:07.800 or it's just too soon

00:18:08.640 to tell?

00:18:09.740 You know, Margaret,

00:18:10.680 it's just too soon

00:18:11.720 to tell.

00:18:12.240 We've just got to

00:18:12.840 concentrate on continuing

00:18:14.440 to get those numbers down

00:18:16.560 and not try to jump ahead

00:18:18.420 by weeks or months

00:18:19.540 and say what we're going

00:18:20.760 to do at a particular time.

00:18:22.460 Are we allowed

00:18:23.280 to have Christmas?

00:18:23.960 There are three

00:18:24.420 possible answers here.

00:18:25.500 Yes, no, or maybe.

00:18:27.580 Maybe, meaning

00:18:28.200 it's too soon to tell.

00:18:29.840 What does Dr. Fauci say?

00:18:31.100 It's just too soon

00:18:32.020 to tell,

00:18:32.420 which means maybe

00:18:33.060 we can have Christmas.

00:18:34.420 Maybe we can't have Christmas.

00:18:36.900 Maybe we're going

00:18:37.700 to cancel Christmas.

00:18:39.780 Don't forget,

00:18:40.220 last year,

00:18:40.740 Dr. Fauci told everyone,

00:18:41.760 I got the clip

00:18:42.220 for that one too.

00:18:43.080 Dr. Fauci told everyone

00:18:44.260 last year, 2020,

00:18:46.360 sorry,

00:18:47.020 you really should not

00:18:47.800 be celebrating Christmas.

00:18:49.300 My advice would be

00:18:50.480 something that I think

00:18:51.480 is going to sadden people

00:18:52.780 because everyone wants

00:18:54.200 the family warmth

00:18:55.840 and get-together

00:18:56.640 that is so characteristic

00:18:57.960 of the Christmas season.

00:18:59.860 But my recommendation

00:19:00.800 would be to curtail

00:19:02.480 traveling as much

00:19:04.420 as you possibly can,

00:19:06.680 visiting people,

00:19:07.600 even though it's

00:19:08.400 such an important part

00:19:09.660 of the Christmas spirit.

00:19:11.380 Keep the gatherings,

00:19:12.720 the dinners,

00:19:13.400 and the indoor gatherings

00:19:14.700 to as few people

00:19:16.340 as possible,

00:19:17.300 preferably for people

00:19:18.460 that are an integral part

00:19:20.220 of the household,

00:19:21.460 and avoid the kind

00:19:22.740 of congregate settings

00:19:23.840 that have been

00:19:24.480 so characteristic.

00:19:24.860 characteristic.

00:19:25.820 We're saying to the best

00:19:27.020 of your possibility,

00:19:28.420 don't do that.

00:19:29.460 I know that's tough,

00:19:30.860 but I believe that's

00:19:31.740 the only way

00:19:32.420 we're going to prevent

00:19:33.160 an even greater surge

00:19:34.540 than we're already seeing.

00:19:36.620 It's a cancel Christmas message

00:19:38.340 in effect,

00:19:39.000 or postpone it.

00:19:40.360 Yeah,

00:19:40.900 in some respects,

00:19:42.140 it is, unfortunately.

00:19:44.080 How much clearer

00:19:45.040 does Fauci need to say it?

00:19:46.960 Because the interviewer

00:19:48.240 actually does questions.

00:19:49.240 He says,

00:19:49.480 so you're saying

00:19:49.880 we're going to cancel Christmas?

00:19:51.240 Yeah,

00:19:51.600 I guess I am.

00:19:52.300 So now Dr. Fauci,

00:19:54.680 as always,

00:19:55.740 has held every position

00:19:57.680 on the issue.

00:20:01.040 Certainly since last year,

00:20:02.860 yes, cancel Christmas,

00:20:04.060 no, don't cancel Christmas,

00:20:05.240 maybe you need

00:20:05.660 to cancel Christmas.

00:20:06.580 He's held two

00:20:07.260 of the three positions

00:20:08.160 just in the last statement

00:20:09.720 that he gave.

00:20:11.780 What changed?

00:20:12.960 Did the science change

00:20:14.520 between a couple of days

00:20:16.920 ago and today,

00:20:17.580 or between the end

00:20:18.960 of Dr. Fauci's answer,

00:20:20.380 most recent answer,

00:20:21.160 and the beginning of it?

00:20:22.000 Did the science change?

00:20:23.800 No.

00:20:24.920 The politics changed.

00:20:26.500 The people reacted to him,

00:20:27.980 and he realized

00:20:28.820 that he wasn't going to be able

00:20:29.940 to get away with this one,

00:20:31.100 so he had to loosen up.

00:20:32.420 He insinuated

00:20:33.160 that we very likely,

00:20:34.460 very possibly,

00:20:35.180 might have to cancel Christmas,

00:20:36.360 and then when people

00:20:37.380 pushed back,

00:20:37.940 he said,

00:20:38.180 no, I didn't say that.

00:20:38.980 What are you talking about?

00:20:40.800 What's so frustrating here

00:20:42.000 is not his incompetence,

00:20:43.500 though obviously he's

00:20:44.880 to some degree

00:20:45.720 incompetent at science.

00:20:46.960 At politics,

00:20:47.520 he's pretty adept.

00:20:49.160 It's not even his

00:20:50.800 power hunger.

00:20:53.780 It's not even his narcissism,

00:20:55.940 his self-adulation.

00:20:57.040 It's the gaslighting.

00:20:58.540 I didn't say that.

00:20:59.940 What are you talking about?

00:21:01.140 I have got the clip.

00:21:02.440 I just,

00:21:03.220 save this clip.

00:21:04.200 I'm sure they're going to

00:21:04.880 take it down from YouTube

00:21:05.600 at some point.

00:21:06.340 Save this clip.

00:21:07.060 You can see all of the

00:21:08.220 different positions

00:21:09.000 the man has held.

00:21:12.000 I think people are getting

00:21:13.120 a little sick of Fauci.

00:21:14.220 I think we've got Fauci fatigue.

00:21:15.460 I've had Fauci fatigue

00:21:16.580 since day one.

00:21:18.920 Did you hear that little line

00:21:20.100 he put in there?

00:21:20.700 He said,

00:21:21.280 look,

00:21:21.720 it always gets misinterpreted

00:21:23.360 when you give people a date

00:21:24.820 of when things are going

00:21:26.240 to go back to normal.

00:21:27.280 Then it gets misinterpreted.

00:21:28.880 Oh, you mean like 15 days

00:21:30.000 to slow the spread? 1.00

00:21:31.000 You jerk. 1.00

00:21:31.760 What was that? 1.00

00:21:32.580 590 days ago?

00:21:34.020 Oh, it was a little.

00:21:34.940 I was a little off.

00:21:35.820 Okay.

00:21:36.620 15 days,

00:21:37.820 590 days,

00:21:40.000 a thousand days.

00:21:40.660 I was a little off.

00:21:41.520 Okay.

00:21:42.740 Come on.

00:21:43.360 Give me a break.

00:21:43.980 Give me a break.

00:21:44.480 Give me a break. 1.00

00:21:45.440 You jerk. 1.00

00:21:46.340 You freaking jerk. 1.00

00:21:48.100 I try not to get emotional, 1.00

00:21:51.000 but this guy makes my blood boil.

00:21:54.180 And the worst part of it is,

00:21:57.440 as a cultural commentator

00:21:58.920 here at the Daily Wire,

00:21:59.780 I am very soon going

00:22:01.880 to have to sit through

00:22:02.780 a hagiography of Dr. Fauci.

00:22:05.620 This coming out from Disney Plus,

00:22:07.980 the Dr. Fauci documentary

00:22:10.680 documentary of this living saint

00:22:13.560 who seems to glide across the earth

00:22:17.400 with the lightest and most angelic touch

00:22:20.500 of any bureaucrat in the government.

00:22:22.440 When I think about my dad growing up,

00:22:26.060 I certainly think about that seriousness.

00:22:29.360 But very few people get to see him.

00:22:32.400 He's funny, weird,

00:22:34.080 and really playful.

00:22:36.040 God help us.

00:22:37.200 In 1981,

00:22:40.620 HIV-AIDS was evolving rapidly

00:22:43.700 and frighteningly.

00:22:45.300 There was anger

00:22:46.180 at the government's response.

00:22:48.340 When you got sick,

00:22:49.280 you were gone fast.

00:22:51.420 It's affecting you now.

00:22:52.860 Yeah.

00:22:53.620 Why?

00:22:55.060 Post-traumatic stress syndrome.

00:22:56.340 When COVID hit,

00:22:59.040 he became this target.

00:23:01.100 My dad said,

00:23:02.220 we're going to get through

00:23:02.740 this whole thing,

00:23:03.660 and he's held back.

00:23:05.140 You don't do it

00:23:05.860 because you want to make money.

00:23:07.120 You don't do it for the glory.

00:23:08.600 You do it because you care.

00:23:10.540 When you're involved in a race

00:23:12.300 to stop a horrible disease,

00:23:15.900 you always feel you're not

00:23:16.760 doing things quickly enough.

00:23:21.380 It's not that Dr. Fauci

00:23:22.900 has not been doing things

00:23:24.600 quickly enough.

00:23:25.200 It's that he's been doing

00:23:26.240 the wrong things.

00:23:27.580 That's the problem.

00:23:28.220 He does things pretty quickly.

00:23:29.780 He takes power very quickly.

00:23:31.000 He's been doing it

00:23:31.500 since the 80s,

00:23:32.220 but he just does

00:23:33.880 the wrong things.

00:23:34.920 They're trying to make him out

00:23:35.800 to be the hero of AIDS.

00:23:37.040 Dr. Fauci completely botched AIDS.

00:23:40.820 We've got to put out,

00:23:41.840 maybe we'll put out

00:23:42.540 some series or something on that.

00:23:44.740 We've got to put out

00:23:45.820 some information.

00:23:46.800 He blew it.

00:23:47.360 Dr. Fauci is,

00:23:48.540 I'm not going to say

00:23:49.120 he's the villain of AIDS,

00:23:50.820 but he is one of the people

00:23:53.280 who really, really blew it,

00:23:54.420 and he blew it in a similar way

00:23:55.600 to the way that he blew COVID-19.

00:23:58.680 Okay?

00:23:59.300 Post-traumatic,

00:23:59.980 yeah, you probably do have

00:24:00.800 post-traumatic stress syndrome

00:24:01.960 because you blew it, buddy. 0.58

00:24:04.660 And yet,

00:24:05.760 because he might not be

00:24:07.180 the most scientifically

00:24:08.000 or medically adept,

00:24:09.160 but he is extremely

00:24:10.440 politically adept,

00:24:11.480 which is how he's stuck around

00:24:13.040 so long.

00:24:15.000 If you want to protect yourself,

00:24:17.080 your data,

00:24:17.660 your identity,

00:24:18.340 I would strongly recommend

00:24:19.300 you check out LifeLock.

00:24:20.780 Have you ever received

00:24:21.840 a call, text,

00:24:23.100 or email from someone

00:24:24.160 posing as an IRS agent,

00:24:26.120 a police officer,

00:24:27.100 or the power company

00:24:28.060 demanding payment

00:24:29.000 by a gift card?

00:24:30.340 I've had these sorts of things

00:24:31.400 happen to my relatives.

00:24:32.560 If you have,

00:24:33.640 you're probably being targeted

00:24:34.820 for a gift card scam.

00:24:36.520 These fraudsters

00:24:37.340 trick victims

00:24:38.080 into sending online gift cards

00:24:39.660 or reading the numbers

00:24:40.620 from a gift card

00:24:41.260 over the phone.

00:24:42.380 Good thing

00:24:42.820 there's LifeLock.

00:24:44.220 LifeLock helps detect

00:24:45.200 a wide range

00:24:45.860 of identity threats

00:24:46.640 like your social security number

00:24:48.080 for sale on the dark web.

00:24:49.460 If they detect

00:24:50.780 that your information

00:24:51.600 has potentially been compromised,

00:24:53.460 they will send you an alert.

00:24:55.580 No one can prevent

00:24:56.960 all identity theft

00:24:57.780 or monitor all transactions

00:24:58.940 at all businesses,

00:25:00.000 but you can keep

00:25:44.120 if you like what you hear.

00:25:45.540 We'll be right back

00:25:46.100 with a lot more.

00:25:46.600 All the world

00:26:00.040 is a stage

00:26:01.080 and our government,

00:26:03.040 whether you're talking

00:26:03.560 about the public health bureaucracy,

00:26:05.000 whether you're talking

00:26:05.600 about law enforcement,

00:26:07.420 is a particular

00:26:08.920 sort of proscenium.

00:26:10.580 It's a particular

00:26:11.800 kind of stage

00:26:13.000 with a whole big show

00:26:14.740 that doesn't always relate

00:26:17.600 to reality,

00:26:19.160 right?

00:26:20.700 The way that,

00:26:22.340 I mean,

00:26:22.640 we've seen it probably

00:26:23.340 in the last year and a half

00:26:24.240 most closely

00:26:25.280 with the public health bureaucracy,

00:26:28.960 but you're seeing it

00:26:30.440 play out elsewhere too.

00:26:32.760 This charade

00:26:33.860 of the government,

00:26:34.980 the idea that

00:26:35.760 the reality of government,

00:26:37.340 the appearance of government

00:26:38.140 are kind of different.

00:26:39.340 Even the way

00:26:39.820 the government works,

00:26:40.720 right?

00:26:40.860 We're told

00:26:41.260 in Schoolhouse Rock,

00:26:42.020 I'm a bill up on Capitol Hill,

00:26:43.600 three branches of government,

00:26:44.840 separation of powers,

00:26:45.880 checks and balances,

00:26:46.700 and that's just kind of bunk.

00:26:47.820 That's not real,

00:26:49.000 right?

00:26:49.400 Actually,

00:26:49.900 the way the government works

00:26:50.720 is that the president

00:26:52.120 passes an executive order

00:26:53.900 onto OSHA,

00:26:55.020 and then the Occupational Safety

00:26:56.580 and Health Administration

00:26:57.660 twists the arm

00:26:58.840 of companies

00:26:59.360 with more than 100 employees,

00:27:00.960 and that will work

00:27:01.820 its way through the courts,

00:27:02.660 but not before the mandate

00:27:03.540 goes through,

00:27:04.220 right?

00:27:04.420 I mean,

00:27:04.700 it's a much more

00:27:05.720 Byzantine system

00:27:06.840 than we like to pretend

00:27:08.560 that it is.

00:27:09.200 And they very often

00:27:11.220 don't believe the things

00:27:12.180 that they want the rest

00:27:12.820 of us to believe.

00:27:13.400 So there was a press briefing

00:27:14.760 yesterday at the Department

00:27:15.560 of Justice,

00:27:17.120 right?

00:27:17.300 And there was a camera

00:27:18.400 that was looking

00:27:19.200 just off stage right,

00:27:21.060 okay?

00:27:21.460 So you're looking

00:27:22.680 at the screen,

00:27:23.420 and to the left

00:27:24.060 of the screen,

00:27:24.840 you see some DOJ flag,

00:27:26.880 and he doesn't have

00:27:27.360 a mask on,

00:27:28.280 because normal people

00:27:29.400 don't wear their masks

00:27:30.440 in basically any setting

00:27:32.960 where they're not

00:27:33.340 compelled to.

00:27:34.140 So then,

00:27:34.820 the guy's about to go

00:27:35.380 on stage,

00:27:35.720 what does he do?

00:27:36.080 He puts the mask on.

00:27:38.320 And then he immediately

00:27:39.260 takes the mask off,

00:27:40.500 because he got to the podium.

00:27:41.360 So this is a guy

00:27:41.980 who has not worn a mask

00:27:43.240 almost certainly

00:27:44.080 all day long.

00:27:45.000 He's standing

00:27:45.680 in the wings

00:27:46.540 of the stage,

00:27:47.900 and he's just standing

00:27:48.960 there,

00:27:49.180 do-to-do,

00:27:49.480 he's holding his mask,

00:27:50.480 and he's like,

00:27:50.840 okay,

00:27:51.180 well,

00:27:51.400 time to go on,

00:27:52.160 time to go on stage.

00:27:53.040 So he puts the mask on,

00:27:54.440 two seconds later,

00:27:55.660 takes it off,

00:27:56.320 but he's got to give

00:27:57.000 the appearance

00:27:57.560 that he's been wearing

00:27:58.160 his mask all day long.

00:27:59.780 And why does he have

00:28:00.300 to do that?

00:28:00.740 Not because he thinks

00:28:01.880 that the masks matter,

00:28:02.880 obviously he doesn't think

00:28:03.800 the masks do anything

00:28:05.020 at all,

00:28:05.420 he doesn't wear them.

00:28:06.940 But he wants you

00:28:08.860 to do so.

00:28:09.560 He wants to give you

00:28:10.340 the impression

00:28:10.940 that he is behaving differently,

00:28:13.420 the government

00:28:13.740 is behaving differently,

00:28:14.540 and you should behave differently

00:28:15.640 than the reality

00:28:17.300 would suggest.

00:28:19.060 And this is just

00:28:20.200 to show you

00:28:21.440 a little hint

00:28:23.240 of the deception

00:28:23.960 at the DOJ.

00:28:26.760 The real story

00:28:27.920 is this.

00:28:29.840 Merrick Garland,

00:28:30.900 the Attorney General,

00:28:31.780 who we were all hoping

00:28:32.640 would be moderate,

00:28:33.400 probably compared

00:28:34.000 to the other picks.

00:28:34.640 He is relatively moderate.

00:28:35.800 It just shows you

00:28:36.240 how far the Democratic Party

00:28:37.680 has moved to the left.

00:28:38.920 Merrick Garland

00:28:39.680 is instructing

00:28:41.140 the FBI

00:28:41.960 to consider parents

00:28:44.820 who oppose

00:28:45.360 critical race theory

00:28:46.480 to be

00:28:47.640 domestic terrorists. 0.96

00:28:50.740 So you,

00:28:51.220 do you have kids

00:28:51.720 out there?

00:28:52.700 You listeners?

00:28:53.880 Something tells me

00:28:54.860 if you're listening

00:28:55.340 to this show,

00:28:56.220 you probably don't think

00:28:57.320 all that favorably

00:28:58.200 of critical race theory.

00:28:59.320 You probably don't

00:29:00.080 support it being taught

00:29:01.800 in schools.

00:29:03.000 Well, you,

00:29:03.560 in the eyes

00:29:04.000 of Merrick Garland's

00:29:05.040 Department of Justice,

00:29:06.640 are a domestic terrorist. 0.53

00:29:09.900 Right?

00:29:11.620 The order that comes out,

00:29:13.620 let's see,

00:29:13.980 do I have a copy

00:29:14.520 of the order?

00:29:15.040 Yes, I do.

00:29:16.500 Memorandum

00:29:16.900 from the Attorney General.

00:29:18.900 In recent months,

00:29:19.640 there's been

00:29:19.940 a disturbing spike

00:29:20.720 in harassment,

00:29:21.340 intimidation,

00:29:21.860 threats of violence

00:29:22.460 against school administrators,

00:29:23.440 board members,

00:29:23.920 teachers, and staff

00:29:24.580 who participate

00:29:25.440 in the vital work

00:29:26.320 of running

00:29:26.660 our nation's

00:29:27.200 public schools.

00:29:28.080 The vital work

00:29:28.900 that we shut down

00:29:29.560 for a year

00:29:29.920 over a cough.

00:29:30.800 While spirited,

00:29:31.640 a cough that didn't

00:29:32.440 propose any particular

00:29:33.260 threat to children.

00:29:34.380 While spirited debate

00:29:35.440 about policy matters

00:29:36.460 is protected

00:29:36.960 under our Constitution,

00:29:37.920 that protection

00:29:38.480 does not extend

00:29:39.100 to threats of violence

00:29:39.900 or efforts

00:29:40.580 to intimidate individuals

00:29:41.600 based on their views.

00:29:43.800 Threats against public servants

00:29:44.980 are not only illegal,

00:29:46.300 they run counter

00:29:46.960 to our nation's

00:29:47.700 core values.

00:29:50.280 Yeah, so now

00:29:51.160 it's all about these threats.

00:29:52.140 It's really,

00:29:52.480 it's called,

00:29:52.940 it's the Matt Walsh memo.

00:29:54.980 Right?

00:29:55.160 This is,

00:29:55.600 don't show up

00:29:56.060 to the school districts

00:29:56.880 and tell them

00:29:57.480 what you want.

00:29:58.420 This is a threat

00:29:59.020 and it's domestic terror

00:29:59.920 and we've got to stop it.

00:30:02.160 Something tells me

00:30:03.600 Merrick Garland

00:30:04.840 would not have sent out

00:30:05.800 such a memo

00:30:06.400 over the BLM riots.

00:30:09.400 BLM,

00:30:09.900 which was actually,

00:30:10.640 not just threatening people,

00:30:11.580 but actually killing people

00:30:12.600 and stealing their property 0.97

00:30:13.600 and burning down

00:30:14.260 their homes and businesses

00:30:15.300 and attacking

00:30:16.420 federal courthouses.

00:30:17.300 You probably wouldn't,

00:30:17.860 but,

00:30:18.420 but you,

00:30:20.040 suburban mom

00:30:20.860 who doesn't want

00:30:21.400 your kid being fed

00:30:22.560 this racial 1.00

00:30:23.860 and sexual poison 0.99

00:30:25.080 in the schools 1.00

00:30:25.760 that all white people 1.00

00:30:27.440 are evil 1.00

00:30:27.960 and that America 0.98

00:30:29.840 is an evil place 0.94

00:30:30.880 and that boys

00:30:31.560 can be girls

00:30:32.180 and that boys 0.97

00:30:33.000 should mutilate themselves 0.96

00:30:33.780 if they feel like girls 0.99

00:30:34.720 when they're four years old

00:30:35.780 or something.

00:30:36.420 If you oppose that, 0.73

00:30:37.700 you're the terrorist. 0.98

00:30:39.220 You're the threat. 0.98

00:30:40.900 It's such a,

00:30:41.860 it's such a charade.

00:30:43.520 It's such a farce.

00:30:46.580 I'm,

00:30:47.060 I'm just shocked

00:30:47.960 that the Department of Justice

00:30:49.240 had time

00:30:49.780 to craft this memo

00:30:50.700 when,

00:30:51.900 when they're usually

00:30:53.060 just so busy

00:30:53.780 trying to entrap

00:30:54.740 radical right-wingers

00:30:56.100 at,

00:30:56.400 at honeypot picnics.

00:30:58.180 Do you remember that?

00:30:58.840 Do you remember the

00:30:59.340 Justice for January 6th rally?

00:31:01.860 And who showed up

00:31:02.620 to the Justice for January 6th?

00:31:04.000 It was the press

00:31:04.960 and it was more press

00:31:07.020 and it was undercover FBI agents

00:31:09.220 who,

00:31:10.220 who were sticking out,

00:31:11.500 they were glowing in the dark

00:31:12.600 as could be.

00:31:13.220 It was like a sore thumb.

00:31:15.200 That's what it is.

00:31:16.860 We talked about this yesterday

00:31:17.900 because there was a,

00:31:18.800 a Ku Klux Klan hoax.

00:31:20.000 It turned out to be

00:31:20.480 a 30-year-old black woman. 0.99

00:31:21.680 Woman was pretending 1.00

00:31:22.500 to be a Klansman

00:31:23.820 and threatening her neighbors.

00:31:26.260 And,

00:31:26.460 and I pointed out to you

00:31:27.420 that the membership

00:31:28.120 of the Ku Klux Klan

00:31:29.200 in the United States

00:31:30.140 is about 50% hoax artists

00:31:32.960 like the 30-year-old black woman 1.00

00:31:34.860 and 50% federal

00:31:36.540 law enforcement officials

00:31:37.520 and like one guy

00:31:39.360 and Jimbo

00:31:40.420 in the mountains somewhere.

00:31:41.980 There's all,

00:31:42.400 he didn't get the memo

00:31:43.360 that the Ku Klux Klan

00:31:44.260 hasn't been a thing for decades.

00:31:45.600 But that's it.

00:31:46.780 It's all just a farce.

00:31:48.360 It's not real.

00:31:49.800 The,

00:31:50.160 the show that you're seeing

00:31:51.360 before you

00:31:51.920 playing out

00:31:53.580 at the level

00:31:53.960 of the federal government

00:31:54.720 is not particularly real.

00:31:58.380 All right.

00:31:59.080 What,

00:31:59.300 what you're really seeing here

00:32:00.880 is the weaponization

00:32:02.520 of the arms

00:32:03.420 of the government

00:32:04.020 and also

00:32:05.140 of a fictional narrative

00:32:07.100 to stomp out

00:32:08.860 any kind of dissent.

00:32:11.040 If you oppose

00:32:12.700 flooding the country

00:32:14.020 with illegal aliens 0.91

00:32:14.940 who harass senators

00:32:15.800 in bathrooms,

00:32:16.380 if you oppose,

00:32:18.240 I don't know,

00:32:19.400 shipping,

00:32:19.800 manufacturing,

00:32:20.320 green jobs overseas,

00:32:21.500 if you oppose

00:32:22.540 getting rid of

00:32:23.580 election integrity measures,

00:32:24.980 if you oppose

00:32:25.940 the separation of powers,

00:32:26.980 if you oppose

00:32:27.580 the slaughter

00:32:28.260 of a million babies a year,

00:32:29.740 why, 0.99

00:32:30.100 you're a domestic terrorist 1.00

00:32:31.320 and you need to be stomped at. 1.00

00:32:33.240 And if you oppose

00:32:33.920 critical race theory

00:32:35.080 and radical gender theory 0.99

00:32:36.300 and teaching your little boy

00:32:37.740 that he should, 1.00

00:32:38.400 should mutilate his genitalia 1.00

00:32:40.120 to become a little girl 1.00

00:32:41.320 because that's totally possible, 0.99

00:32:43.280 then you're a domestic terrorist.

00:32:46.520 And you do not have

00:32:47.500 the right to dissent.

00:32:48.360 We support vigorous debate

00:32:49.940 unless you disagree with us

00:32:51.240 and then they try

00:32:53.140 to stomp you out.

00:32:54.720 Speaking of radicalism, 0.60

00:32:55.800 specifically on the sexual front,

00:32:58.860 Playboy has a new cover.

00:33:01.580 I guess they have a new cover

00:33:02.420 every single issue.

00:33:04.660 Playboy,

00:33:05.860 you know,

00:33:06.140 when I was younger,

00:33:06.720 I would read it for the articles.

00:33:07.880 You'd always read it

00:33:08.500 for the articles.

00:33:09.380 But I have not seen a Playboy

00:33:11.400 in, I don't know,

00:33:12.160 since I was a teenager

00:33:12.940 or something.

00:33:13.540 I don't even know

00:33:14.720 it was really still around.

00:33:15.660 It seems like so dated now

00:33:17.640 in the era of the internet

00:33:18.960 and the era of pretty soon

00:33:20.040 we're gonna have like hologram 0.80

00:33:21.000 porn stars walking around 0.98

00:33:22.340 our society. 0.97

00:33:23.180 So Playboy seems a little

00:33:24.440 outdated.

00:33:25.720 They're trying to get,

00:33:27.060 I think,

00:33:27.320 a little more excitement

00:33:29.120 and a little more publicity.

00:33:30.840 And so what have they done?

00:33:32.100 They've put a man 0.97

00:33:33.040 on the cover

00:33:34.340 of their magazine.

00:33:36.480 They've got this guy,

00:33:37.820 I think he's a Filipino guy.

00:33:40.380 He's like a social influencer.

00:33:42.120 I don't,

00:33:42.400 I don't know his name,

00:33:43.400 I'm happy to say.

00:33:44.100 There's now a man

00:33:47.800 dressed up as a woman 0.99

00:33:48.760 in a skimpy little bunny outfit

00:33:50.880 on the cover of Playboy.

00:33:53.000 A lot of people

00:33:53.940 are looking at this

00:33:54.740 and saying,

00:33:55.860 this is crazy.

00:33:57.500 Oh my gosh,

00:33:58.480 it's the inversion of Playboy.

00:33:59.940 The whole point of Playboy 0.95

00:34:00.700 is you have hot naked women 1.00

00:34:01.780 and then men 0.99

00:34:02.540 pretend to read it

00:34:03.400 for the articles

00:34:03.920 but they're just looking

00:34:04.680 at the women. 0.71

00:34:05.460 And now you've got dudes

00:34:06.920 on there.

00:34:07.380 That doesn't make any sense,

00:34:08.520 does it?

00:34:09.240 I actually think

00:34:10.220 the people

00:34:10.740 who are criticizing

00:34:12.120 this decision

00:34:12.700 are missing the point.

00:34:13.480 I think it makes perfect sense.

00:34:15.400 I think it is intrinsic

00:34:17.300 in the logic of Playboy

00:34:19.380 and the Playboy philosophy

00:34:20.840 that eventually

00:34:22.260 you'd get some dude

00:34:23.660 in a skimpy outfit

00:34:25.060 dressing up like a woman 1.00

00:34:25.880 on the cover of the magazine.

00:34:27.340 There's a great episode

00:34:28.480 of Firing Line,

00:34:29.540 William F. Buckley Jr.'s

00:34:30.560 old show

00:34:31.040 where it's him

00:34:32.020 and Hugh Hefner

00:34:33.180 back in the early days

00:34:35.060 of Playboy

00:34:35.520 debating the Playboy philosophy.

00:34:38.300 Okay?

00:34:38.780 And it's really worth watching

00:34:40.560 because you see

00:34:40.960 these two guys

00:34:41.820 and you really see

00:34:43.400 two different ways of life.

00:34:44.440 You've got Buckley

00:34:45.060 who's kind of urbane

00:34:45.900 and laughing

00:34:46.600 and, you know,

00:34:48.040 educated

00:34:49.480 and restrained

00:34:50.880 and you've got Hugh Hefner

00:34:52.300 who looks nervous

00:34:54.960 and he's jittery

00:34:56.000 and he just looks

00:34:57.200 kind of creepy

00:34:57.760 and he sounds

00:34:58.280 kind of creepy

00:34:58.780 and he's obviously

00:34:59.620 not even close

00:35:00.300 to his intelligent

00:35:00.940 or educated

00:35:01.620 and they're debating

00:35:02.520 the Playboy philosophy.

00:35:03.380 What's the Playboy philosophy?

00:35:05.100 Give yourself bodily pleasure.

00:35:06.460 That's the philosophy.

00:35:08.620 Give yourself bodily pleasure.

00:35:10.220 So if,

00:35:11.220 if

00:35:12.100 the

00:35:13.340 world,

00:35:15.700 every consideration

00:35:16.500 that we have to make

00:35:17.340 about how we behave

00:35:18.120 in the world

00:35:18.540 only runs skin deep,

00:35:20.400 if it only comes down

00:35:21.680 to the flesh,

00:35:23.380 then why would you

00:35:24.840 not have a man

00:35:26.200 who looks kind of

00:35:27.000 like a girl 0.67

00:35:27.540 on the cover

00:35:28.060 of your magazine

00:35:28.720 that's for girls 1.00

00:35:29.460 if there's no difference?

00:35:31.540 If it's just meat,

00:35:33.140 right?

00:35:33.260 If it's all,

00:35:33.640 if it's just flesh,

00:35:34.460 if it's just body,

00:35:35.220 then if a guy

00:35:36.360 looks kind of

00:35:36.940 like a girl,

00:35:38.400 why,

00:35:39.300 why would you

00:35:40.040 not have him on?

00:35:41.700 There's no spiritual

00:35:42.680 difference.

00:35:43.300 There's no metaphysical

00:35:44.320 difference.

00:35:44.800 It's just physical.

00:35:46.240 So why,

00:35:46.760 yeah,

00:35:46.920 he looks like

00:35:47.480 a little bit

00:35:47.860 of a weird girl.

00:35:48.400 He doesn't look

00:35:48.760 like a total

00:35:49.400 normal girl,

00:35:50.080 not like a busty 0.63

00:35:50.920 buxom 0.71

00:35:51.400 Playboy bunny,

00:35:52.640 but he doesn't

00:35:54.380 look all that

00:35:54.820 masculine either.

00:35:55.700 He looks kind 0.95

00:35:56.140 of effeminate.

00:35:57.080 So sure,

00:35:57.640 why not put him on?

00:35:58.860 Why not?

00:35:59.860 What's the difference?

00:36:01.760 If you take a view

00:36:03.240 of sex that is 0.55

00:36:04.180 more traditional, 0.89

00:36:05.220 Christian,

00:36:06.000 Jewish,

00:36:06.640 Muslim,

00:36:07.900 pagan for that

00:36:09.400 matter,

00:36:09.840 I guess,

00:36:10.960 you know,

00:36:12.500 if you take a view

00:36:13.640 of sex that is not 0.98

00:36:15.260 purely materialist,

00:36:17.140 then you might say,

00:36:18.560 well,

00:36:18.660 it doesn't matter,

00:36:19.280 it doesn't matter if the

00:36:20.280 guy undergoes surgery

00:36:21.600 and looks exactly like a

00:36:22.500 woman, 1.00

00:36:22.680 you still shouldn't put him

00:36:23.260 on the cover of

00:36:23.720 Playboy.

00:36:24.560 But if you're,

00:36:25.320 if you're a materialist,

00:36:26.300 as the Playboy philosophy

00:36:27.280 would have you be,

00:36:29.180 makes perfect sense.

00:36:30.080 Go enjoy your,

00:36:30.860 go enjoy your dude

00:36:32.500 on the cover of

00:36:33.060 Playboy,

00:36:33.440 materialists.

00:36:35.320 Speaking of the

00:36:35.880 Playboy lifestyle,

00:36:37.220 outside of the realm

00:36:38.440 of sex,

00:36:39.040 into the halls 0.90

00:36:39.480 of Congress,

00:36:41.020 Congressman AOC

00:36:42.220 is calling

00:36:44.020 for a four-day

00:36:45.720 work week.

00:36:47.460 So,

00:36:48.160 this is in response

00:36:49.120 to a tweet

00:36:49.640 from a guy

00:36:50.320 who coincidentally

00:36:50.960 is actually a pal

00:36:51.860 of mine from college,

00:36:52.840 but he was just,

00:36:53.960 he tweeted out,

00:36:54.420 he said,

00:36:55.020 we need a three-day

00:36:55.840 weekend,

00:36:56.500 one for errands,

00:36:57.640 one for social

00:36:58.300 activities,

00:36:59.180 one for staying

00:37:00.020 in bed like we've

00:37:00.720 got some Victorian

00:37:01.540 wasting disease.

00:37:03.080 So,

00:37:03.580 it's kind of just,

00:37:04.140 I think he was just

00:37:04.880 making a joke on Twitter,

00:37:06.280 it's just a sort of

00:37:07.000 funny tweet of,

00:37:08.600 you know,

00:37:08.760 look,

00:37:08.980 we get so busy

00:37:09.540 on the weekends,

00:37:10.240 there's not enough

00:37:10.640 time to do everything,

00:37:11.340 why do we have to

00:37:11.760 work so much,

00:37:12.400 ha ha ha.

00:37:13.940 AOC retweets this

00:37:15.580 and says,

00:37:16.500 four-day work week,

00:37:17.880 baby,

00:37:18.880 rep Mark Takano

00:37:20.280 has got a bill

00:37:21.380 for that.

00:37:22.560 So,

00:37:22.940 she's taking this joke

00:37:24.140 and she's

00:37:25.720 taking it further

00:37:27.720 and saying,

00:37:29.380 no,

00:37:29.760 we actually need

00:37:30.240 to make this a law,

00:37:30.960 you should only

00:37:31.580 work four days

00:37:32.460 a week.

00:37:34.560 Now,

00:37:35.720 this would seem

00:37:37.860 a bad idea to me.

00:37:38.960 I know,

00:37:39.360 this is an unpopular

00:37:40.140 opinion,

00:37:40.820 but I don't think

00:37:41.460 we should have

00:37:41.820 a four-day work week.

00:37:43.040 I think people

00:37:43.680 are meant to work

00:37:44.540 and I think

00:37:45.400 the theory is

00:37:46.780 that when you have

00:37:49.100 a lot of time off,

00:37:50.320 when you have

00:37:50.560 a lot of leisure time,

00:37:51.640 then you're going

00:37:52.340 to pursue all

00:37:53.360 of these interests

00:37:54.040 that you have.

00:37:54.860 You know,

00:37:55.020 this was the argument

00:37:55.640 for Obamacare.

00:37:56.560 When you don't need

00:37:57.180 to work anymore,

00:37:58.640 to have,

00:37:59.220 say,

00:37:59.280 health insurance

00:37:59.800 or some kind

00:38:00.320 of basic ability

00:38:02.200 to live,

00:38:03.440 you're going

00:38:04.000 to become a poet.

00:38:05.440 You're going

00:38:05.900 to become a painter.

00:38:07.720 You're,

00:38:08.240 oh,

00:38:08.580 you're going

00:38:08.820 to write

00:38:09.120 the next great

00:38:10.160 American novel,

00:38:11.040 aren't you?

00:38:12.180 And actually,

00:38:13.760 almost certainly

00:38:14.380 you will not.

00:38:16.400 That's not what

00:38:16.980 happens,

00:38:17.440 actually,

00:38:17.860 because it turns out

00:38:18.460 it's hard to paint

00:38:19.040 and it's hard

00:38:19.600 to write poetry

00:38:20.140 and it's hard

00:38:20.740 to write a novel

00:38:21.300 and you need

00:38:21.920 to work at it

00:38:22.660 relentlessly

00:38:23.280 and it's not

00:38:24.000 just a sort of

00:38:24.540 thing you do,

00:38:24.920 oh,

00:38:25.020 it's a Saturday

00:38:25.480 afternoon.

00:38:25.940 I think I'm going

00:38:27.080 to go write

00:38:27.580 a novel.

00:38:28.580 Yes,

00:38:28.900 that's what I'm,

00:38:29.280 no,

00:38:29.500 that's just not

00:38:30.080 how it works.

00:38:31.100 We are made

00:38:32.060 to work.

00:38:34.480 Okay,

00:38:34.800 now that does not

00:38:35.520 mean that you need

00:38:36.320 to slave away

00:38:36.880 all your life

00:38:37.320 at the widget factory

00:38:38.080 or,

00:38:39.080 you know,

00:38:39.400 at the retail shop

00:38:40.780 or whatever.

00:38:41.520 There are other ways

00:38:42.940 ways to do things

00:38:44.940 to do things,

00:38:45.560 but,

00:38:46.720 you know,

00:38:47.740 some of your

00:38:48.400 free time

00:38:49.020 should then be

00:38:49.520 spent with your

00:38:50.100 family doing

00:38:51.400 things,

00:38:51.680 not just like

00:38:52.180 loafing around

00:38:52.640 on the couch,

00:38:53.040 but actually

00:38:53.320 doing things

00:38:54.180 with your

00:38:54.760 family.

00:38:55.360 Some of that

00:38:55.820 time should be

00:38:56.320 spent fixing

00:38:56.900 up the house.

00:38:57.780 Some of that

00:38:58.160 time should be

00:38:58.720 spent cultivating

00:39:00.700 interests and

00:39:01.700 hobbies and

00:39:02.220 activities.

00:39:03.060 Not writing the

00:39:03.640 next great

00:39:03.980 American novel,

00:39:04.620 maybe,

00:39:04.920 but reading a

00:39:05.740 little bit,

00:39:06.560 being productive.

00:39:07.440 And then what's

00:39:07.960 entirely left out

00:39:08.780 of this discussion

00:39:09.420 is reading all the

00:39:10.360 comments.

00:39:10.680 First,

00:39:11.320 my friends joke,

00:39:12.360 then AOC's

00:39:13.520 broader,

00:39:14.560 you know,

00:39:15.060 legislative take on

00:39:16.000 this,

00:39:16.200 and then all the

00:39:16.520 people saying,

00:39:16.960 here's what we

00:39:17.200 need to do on

00:39:17.580 the weekends.

00:39:18.240 What's left out

00:39:18.960 of this is

00:39:19.600 honoring God,

00:39:22.440 keeping holy the

00:39:23.240 Sabbath day,

00:39:24.060 having one day

00:39:25.100 of the week to

00:39:25.980 think about

00:39:26.440 eternal things,

00:39:28.660 which was

00:39:29.960 taken for

00:39:32.360 granted in

00:39:33.140 virtually every

00:39:34.120 society for

00:39:35.420 virtually all of

00:39:37.100 the entire history

00:39:37.840 of the world,

00:39:38.940 until very recently

00:39:39.880 where we've

00:39:40.340 totally forgotten

00:39:40.940 about that.

00:39:41.820 And the argument

00:39:42.680 for getting rid

00:39:43.180 of the Sabbath

00:39:43.600 day was,

00:39:45.040 oh,

00:39:45.180 this is way

00:39:46.260 better.

00:39:46.560 I'll get to

00:39:46.820 relax more.

00:39:47.520 I'll get to

00:39:47.780 be more at

00:39:48.180 peace.

00:39:48.500 I'll get to

00:39:48.840 be more at

00:39:49.280 leisure.

00:39:49.780 And in fact,

00:39:50.560 what has

00:39:50.900 happened is

00:39:51.300 the opposite.

00:39:52.980 Right?

00:39:53.180 We loaf

00:39:54.040 around.

00:39:55.000 When you've

00:39:55.560 got a couple

00:39:56.180 days off,

00:39:56.520 you just loaf

00:39:56.980 around,

00:39:57.400 and you don't

00:39:58.020 really do

00:40:01.020 any.

00:40:01.180 You don't feel

00:40:01.740 good.

00:40:02.180 You don't feel

00:40:02.700 energized.

00:40:03.320 You are meant

00:40:04.200 to be doing

00:40:05.040 things.

00:40:05.520 Idle hands

00:40:06.160 are the devil's

00:40:06.760 playground. 0.99

00:40:08.580 Slothful people

00:40:09.420 are the

00:40:10.280 brothers of

00:40:11.600 destroyers,

00:40:12.820 so says

00:40:13.360 Proverbs.

00:40:14.880 And I'm not

00:40:15.520 surprised that

00:40:16.160 AOC would 0.98

00:40:17.060 promote idleness

00:40:19.160 and sloth and

00:40:20.540 laziness. 0.92

00:40:21.020 Makes perfect

00:40:21.460 sense to me.

00:40:22.700 Speaking of

00:40:23.080 inactivity,

00:40:23.760 though,

00:40:24.400 speaking of

00:40:24.800 people who

00:40:25.100 are going to

00:40:25.300 have a lot

00:40:25.640 of very long

00:40:26.240 weekends coming

00:40:26.820 up, there

00:40:28.360 is earth-shattering

00:40:30.360 news in

00:40:31.220 Washington that

00:40:31.900 is not getting

00:40:33.060 a ton of

00:40:33.540 play.

00:40:34.140 Namely, the

00:40:35.720 head of the

00:40:36.920 National Institutes

00:40:37.760 of Elf is

00:40:38.780 stepping down.

00:40:40.240 This is not

00:40:40.880 Dr. Fauci.

00:40:42.400 He's the head

00:40:43.020 of NIAID.

00:40:45.060 This is one of

00:40:45.620 the institutes

00:40:46.100 at the NIH.

00:40:47.620 But the head

00:40:48.400 of the NIH,

00:40:49.720 Dr. Francis

00:40:50.280 Collins,

00:40:50.820 longest-serving

00:40:51.600 head of the

00:40:51.980 NIH, he's

00:40:53.740 stepping down,

00:40:55.180 according to

00:40:55.920 reports from

00:40:56.900 Politico.

00:40:58.840 Why is this,

00:40:59.720 at the time

00:41:00.160 when the NIH

00:41:00.720 is most under

00:41:01.460 scrutiny for

00:41:02.480 their involvement

00:41:03.140 in the

00:41:04.060 coronavirus epidemic

00:41:05.940 and then the

00:41:06.920 lockdowns as a

00:41:07.680 result of it,

00:41:09.180 why is the

00:41:09.860 head of NIH

00:41:10.500 stepping down

00:41:11.960 now?

00:41:15.200 Politico

00:41:15.840 reporting that

00:41:17.580 Dr. Francis

00:41:18.600 Collins, the

00:41:19.220 head of the

00:41:19.700 NIH, longest-serving

00:41:20.600 director ever,

00:41:21.880 will step down

00:41:22.980 after 12 years.

00:41:24.340 It's not clear

00:41:25.320 exactly what

00:41:25.900 why.

00:41:26.220 Could be

00:41:26.460 personal

00:41:26.800 reasons.

00:41:27.420 Could be

00:41:27.680 that he's

00:41:27.940 just been

00:41:28.220 there long

00:41:28.520 enough, he

00:41:28.800 wants to

00:41:29.100 step down,

00:41:29.540 he's tired.

00:41:30.360 Could be

00:41:30.760 health reasons,

00:41:31.480 we don't

00:41:31.760 know, I'm

00:41:32.380 not going to

00:41:33.280 speculate.

00:41:34.180 Could be

00:41:34.600 that it's

00:41:34.880 just time,

00:41:35.460 you know,

00:41:35.680 it's just

00:41:35.880 time, it's

00:41:36.200 been long

00:41:36.800 enough.

00:41:38.180 However, it

00:41:40.060 might be

00:41:40.620 political,

00:41:41.760 because there

00:41:42.320 is a scandal

00:41:43.200 here, okay,

00:41:44.680 and it's been

00:41:45.580 covered up by

00:41:46.160 the press, and

00:41:47.520 you only hear it

00:41:48.300 occasionally if

00:41:49.020 Rand Paul is

00:41:49.840 grilling Dr.

00:41:50.780 Fauci or

00:41:51.220 somebody before

00:41:52.000 the Senate.

00:41:53.640 it, but the

00:41:56.020 NIH was

00:41:57.060 involved in

00:41:58.520 funding gain-of-function

00:42:00.500 research, the

00:42:02.360 same sort of

00:42:03.180 research that

00:42:04.600 almost certainly

00:42:06.260 caused the

00:42:06.800 outbreak of the

00:42:07.760 coronavirus.

00:42:08.120 virus, the

00:42:09.480 NIH was

00:42:10.080 involved in

00:42:10.580 funding the

00:42:11.220 Wuhan Institute

00:42:12.280 of Virology,

00:42:13.940 where the

00:42:14.720 virus almost

00:42:15.560 certainly escaped

00:42:16.460 from.

00:42:18.140 The NIH lied

00:42:20.300 about their

00:42:20.880 involvement in

00:42:21.700 gain-of-function

00:42:22.240 research and the

00:42:23.520 Wuhan Institute

00:42:24.160 of Virology, and

00:42:25.780 Dr. Fauci perjured

00:42:28.200 himself, certainly

00:42:29.640 in the mind of

00:42:30.120 Rand Paul, perjured

00:42:31.300 himself on this

00:42:32.320 very question.

00:42:33.160 But you can't

00:42:33.940 fire Dr. Fauci,

00:42:35.240 because Dr. Fauci

00:42:36.000 is the indispensable

00:42:36.680 man.

00:42:37.000 He just said the

00:42:37.660 other day to

00:42:38.080 Hugh Hewitt,

00:42:38.720 there is no

00:42:39.720 circumstance in

00:42:41.220 which I will

00:42:41.820 resign.

00:42:42.480 There is none,

00:42:43.060 absolutely none.

00:42:44.600 Joe Biden was

00:42:45.160 asked, would you

00:42:46.220 fire Anthony

00:42:46.900 Fauci at all for

00:42:47.680 any reason?

00:42:48.440 No, he would

00:42:49.260 not.

00:42:49.780 And so there is a

00:42:50.600 world in which

00:42:51.260 Francis Collins,

00:42:52.500 head of NIH, is

00:42:53.860 taking the fall

00:42:54.660 here.

00:42:55.420 I don't care, I

00:42:56.260 don't care about

00:42:56.680 Francis Collins, I

00:42:57.460 barely even care

00:42:58.080 about Dr.

00:42:58.540 Fauci.

00:42:59.620 The less I think

00:43:00.540 about Dr.

00:43:01.160 Fauci, the better

00:43:01.900 my blood pressure

00:43:02.500 is.

00:43:03.300 But do not lose

00:43:05.060 sight of the

00:43:05.560 scandal.

00:43:06.000 The scandal

00:43:06.740 here is very

00:43:07.420 important.

00:43:07.920 It reminds us

00:43:08.580 that the geniuses

00:43:09.640 who presume to

00:43:11.420 run our lives

00:43:11.980 better than we

00:43:12.440 can run them

00:43:12.800 ourselves are 1.00

00:43:13.540 actually idiots 1.00

00:43:14.900 a lot of the 1.00

00:43:16.060 time.

00:43:16.720 They don't run

00:43:17.280 our lives all

00:43:17.780 that well.

00:43:19.000 And they're

00:43:19.980 trying to cover

00:43:20.640 this thing up.

00:43:21.440 And they think,

00:43:21.960 oh, maybe, you

00:43:22.800 know, if we

00:43:23.220 switch up some

00:43:23.800 people, take

00:43:24.960 some heat off

00:43:25.500 this issue,

00:43:26.020 maybe it'll go

00:43:26.600 away.

00:43:27.000 Do not let it

00:43:27.560 go away. 0.82

00:43:28.080 This is the

00:43:28.980 issue.

00:43:29.660 Keep it up.

00:43:30.480 Speaking of

00:43:31.480 scandal and

00:43:33.120 the job search,

00:43:35.440 Matthew Dowd

00:43:36.220 is the former

00:43:37.140 chief strategist

00:43:37.900 on the Bush-Cheney

00:43:39.020 04 campaign.

00:43:40.400 He was a

00:43:40.900 Republican, but

00:43:41.540 he's like a

00:43:41.920 Bushy Republican,

00:43:42.860 so he's not

00:43:43.400 particularly

00:43:44.540 conservative.

00:43:45.320 Now he's a

00:43:45.820 Democrat like so

00:43:46.620 many of them

00:43:47.060 are, like so

00:43:48.020 many former

00:43:48.540 Bush officials

00:43:49.200 and Bush

00:43:49.560 supporters.

00:43:50.420 He is a

00:43:50.840 Democrat, and

00:43:51.960 he's running

00:43:52.440 for lieutenant

00:43:52.940 governor of

00:43:53.440 Texas as a

00:43:54.640 Democrat.

00:43:54.980 Democrat, and

00:43:56.180 he very

00:43:57.580 recently just

00:43:58.420 deleted all of

00:44:00.260 his tweets.

00:44:01.080 He just deleted

00:44:01.700 all, hundreds of

00:44:02.640 thousands of

00:44:03.060 tweets, he just

00:44:03.500 deleted all of

00:44:04.140 them.

00:44:04.820 And CNN, to

00:44:05.620 its credit, brought

00:44:06.680 him on the

00:44:07.040 show on CNN

00:44:09.120 New Day and

00:44:09.880 said, hey, what

00:44:11.160 are you hiding?

00:44:12.420 Matthew, you're

00:44:13.520 well aware you're

00:44:14.200 being attacked by

00:44:14.860 Republicans and

00:44:15.760 Fox for deleting

00:44:17.180 thousands of

00:44:18.300 tweets.

00:44:19.140 How many tweets

00:44:20.080 did you delete?

00:44:24.040 I don't know.

00:44:24.820 I think what I

00:44:25.560 did was, and

00:44:26.240 this was long

00:44:26.800 before this was

00:44:27.580 funny about Fox,

00:44:28.560 who looks for

00:44:29.120 anything to sort

00:44:30.240 of come up with

00:44:30.800 some conspiracy

00:44:31.520 theory as they

00:44:32.440 do.

00:44:33.400 Earlier in the

00:44:34.200 summer, I

00:44:34.640 thought I have

00:44:35.140 270, 260,000

00:44:37.420 tweets that have

00:44:37.940 just been

00:44:38.300 accumulated.

00:44:39.100 I just decided

00:44:39.720 to go through

00:44:40.260 and delete all

00:44:41.320 of my old

00:44:41.800 tweets, whatever

00:44:42.400 it happened to

00:44:43.000 be.

00:44:43.320 So there's no

00:44:44.520 conspiracy thing

00:44:45.580 here.

00:44:45.840 It's just

00:44:46.300 cleaning up my

00:44:47.040 files long

00:44:47.760 before I even

00:44:48.380 thought about

00:44:48.940 running in this

00:44:50.520 race.

00:44:50.960 But again, it's

00:44:52.300 a typical Fox

00:44:53.220 thing to turn

00:44:54.360 to turn to

00:44:55.120 some conspiracy

00:44:56.000 thinking it has

00:44:56.840 more meaning

00:44:57.380 than it actually

00:44:58.000 does.

00:44:58.740 Why did you

00:44:59.120 do it then?

00:45:01.680 I just said,

00:45:03.140 Brianna, I did

00:45:03.840 it because I

00:45:04.320 just wanted to

00:45:04.820 clean up all of

00:45:05.460 my files and

00:45:06.480 get rid of all

00:45:07.180 of the stuff

00:45:07.600 that accumulated

00:45:08.240 over time.

00:45:09.000 There's no

00:45:09.560 reason.

00:45:10.200 I understand

00:45:10.820 that, but this

00:45:11.340 isn't like

00:45:11.780 emptying your

00:45:12.400 email inbox,

00:45:13.580 to be clear.

00:45:14.820 I love her.

00:45:15.780 Good job on

00:45:16.520 her.

00:45:16.740 You're really

00:45:17.220 asking the right

00:45:17.840 questions here,

00:45:18.560 lady.

00:45:18.960 And you'll

00:45:19.560 notice this clip

00:45:20.520 goes on for at

00:45:21.760 least another

00:45:22.180 minute, if not

00:45:22.740 another two

00:45:23.140 minutes.

00:45:23.380 And he just

00:45:23.800 keeps repeating

00:45:24.280 the same

00:45:24.540 thing.

00:45:24.860 I was, it's

00:45:25.700 just funny.

00:45:26.280 I was, Fox

00:45:26.900 News, conspiracy

00:45:27.860 theory, cleaning

00:45:29.140 up my inbox,

00:45:30.020 conspiracy, Fox,

00:45:31.780 ha ha, ha ha,

00:45:32.820 inbox, cleaning

00:45:33.460 up.

00:45:33.620 And she points

00:45:34.040 out, you know,

00:45:34.880 deleting your

00:45:35.440 tweets, it's

00:45:37.020 not like cleaning

00:45:37.680 out your email

00:45:38.300 inbox.

00:45:38.900 You have to

00:45:39.380 clean out your

00:45:39.860 email inbox

00:45:40.520 every so often

00:45:41.100 because you only

00:45:41.520 get a certain

00:45:42.000 amount of

00:45:42.320 storage.

00:45:43.200 And so then it

00:45:43.680 fills up and

00:45:44.180 then you can't

00:45:44.560 get new emails.

00:45:45.180 So you go in

00:45:45.720 and you delete

00:45:46.160 your emails and

00:45:46.800 then you can

00:45:47.340 receive more

00:45:47.860 emails.

00:45:49.020 With Twitter, you

00:45:51.320 can tweet as

00:45:51.840 much as you

00:45:52.220 want.

00:45:52.400 It's fine.

00:45:53.380 You're not

00:45:53.960 storing files on

00:45:55.780 your computer or

00:45:56.620 in your personal

00:45:57.200 Twitter account.

00:45:58.680 Moreover, when you

00:45:59.600 delete your emails

00:46:00.520 on your email

00:46:01.920 client, it's very

00:46:03.100 easy.

00:46:03.480 You click a

00:46:03.820 button, you click

00:46:05.140 at most, what,

00:46:05.920 three buttons and

00:46:06.720 then you can

00:46:07.120 delete all your

00:46:07.580 emails.

00:46:08.160 And it's easy and

00:46:08.660 it just happens.

00:46:09.540 With Twitter, you've

00:46:10.220 got to go through

00:46:10.920 all those tweets

00:46:12.020 and it's actually

00:46:13.040 time intensive.

00:46:14.300 Certainly what he

00:46:14.900 did was hire a

00:46:15.940 campaign person to

00:46:16.680 go through and

00:46:17.440 scrub all of his

00:46:18.040 old tweets.

00:46:19.560 And so he

00:46:21.540 thought about

00:46:22.600 this, he planned

00:46:23.140 it out, there is

00:46:23.660 a reason why.

00:46:25.160 And we all know

00:46:25.680 the reason why

00:46:26.220 because he's said

00:46:26.780 things that are

00:46:27.320 going to get him

00:46:27.700 in trouble.

00:46:28.520 And I have some

00:46:29.380 sympathy.

00:46:29.900 He's such a 0.97

00:46:30.400 little weasel that 0.99

00:46:31.120 I don't have a ton

00:46:32.360 of sympathy because

00:46:32.940 he should just come

00:46:33.460 out and say, oh,

00:46:34.220 because we live in a

00:46:34.860 cancel culture and

00:46:35.600 anything I said 15

00:46:36.500 years ago is going

00:46:37.080 to be used to 0.93

00:46:37.480 shoot down my 0.79

00:46:37.960 campaign so I

00:46:38.880 don't want to

00:46:39.220 give my opponents

00:46:39.780 ammunition.

00:46:41.460 Whether you agree

00:46:42.300 with that or not,

00:46:43.340 whether you agree

00:46:43.860 with that tactic or

00:46:44.580 not, at least it

00:46:45.360 would be honest.

00:46:45.920 That's what he

00:46:46.500 was doing.

00:46:48.080 And I get it.

00:46:49.340 We now, previously

00:46:50.740 if you ran for

00:46:51.680 lieutenant governor

00:46:53.080 20 years ago, people

00:46:54.640 would comb through

00:46:55.240 newspapers and find

00:46:56.260 things that you had

00:46:56.880 said.

00:46:57.420 Now they can just

00:46:58.200 look through 200,000

00:46:59.220 tweets and inevitably

00:47:00.600 something you tweet

00:47:01.520 will be off color or

00:47:02.520 taken out of context

00:47:03.480 or you won't even

00:47:04.340 agree with it anymore.

00:47:05.420 So yeah, you want to

00:47:06.060 delete it and you 0.96

00:47:06.480 don't want to give

00:47:06.920 them, you don't want

00:47:08.460 to give your opponents

00:47:09.220 the ammunition.

00:47:10.820 Although now that he's

00:47:11.560 called attention to it,

00:47:12.300 people are probably

00:47:12.700 going to go back because

00:47:13.260 there are records of

00:47:13.920 these things online.

00:47:14.640 So the weaseliness I

00:47:16.160 don't like, but there

00:47:16.800 is something here which

00:47:18.120 is even bigger beyond

00:47:19.380 this schlub and beyond

00:47:21.280 CNN. 0.99

00:47:23.180 You are damned if you 0.99

00:47:24.460 do and you are damned 0.98

00:47:25.900 if you don't in this 0.93

00:47:27.080 culture.

00:47:27.660 One, because of the

00:47:28.820 growth of surveillance

00:47:29.680 technology.

00:47:30.960 There is a record of

00:47:31.960 everything we've ever

00:47:32.740 done or said or

00:47:33.900 practically even thought.

00:47:35.340 In some cases,

00:47:35.980 literally things that

00:47:36.660 we've thought because

00:47:37.780 these algorithms actually

00:47:39.920 can predict your

00:47:40.840 behavior and impel

00:47:41.920 certain behavior.

00:47:42.660 But beyond that,

00:47:46.920 you live in a culture

00:47:49.300 now where there's no

00:47:50.040 grace.

00:47:51.000 There's no forgiveness.

00:47:52.660 So you can, in the

00:47:53.940 olden days, you could

00:47:54.680 say, oh yeah, I tweeted

00:47:55.840 something 10 years ago,

00:47:56.760 but I don't agree with

00:47:57.420 it anymore.

00:47:57.880 Yeah, I was a little

00:47:58.640 hot at the time.

00:47:59.400 That's okay.

00:48:00.000 You know, sorry, move

00:48:01.200 on.

00:48:01.400 It's not a big deal.

00:48:02.020 Okay, I forgive you.

00:48:02.820 All right, we're good.

00:48:03.460 But we don't live in

00:48:04.180 that culture.

00:48:04.800 We live in this

00:48:06.260 particular cancel culture

00:48:07.740 where there is no grace

00:48:09.660 because there's not a lot

00:48:10.740 of shared trust because

00:48:11.800 there's not a shared

00:48:12.340 vision of America

00:48:13.000 because we don't even

00:48:13.520 have borders.

00:48:14.080 We don't even have a

00:48:14.560 common language anymore.

00:48:16.680 And so in that kind of

00:48:18.100 a culture where there's

00:48:18.840 very, very little

00:48:19.720 national cohesion, you

00:48:21.720 are going to have to

00:48:22.540 live in a world in

00:48:23.460 which you are deceiving.

00:48:26.300 Well, not where you

00:48:26.980 have to, but where this

00:48:28.240 will typify the culture

00:48:29.180 where you're deceiving,

00:48:30.780 where you are gaslighting,

00:48:32.140 where you're pulling a

00:48:32.920 Fauci, where you're

00:48:33.920 deleting things, where

00:48:35.000 you're hiding things,

00:48:35.960 where you're covering up,

00:48:37.280 where you are telling

00:48:38.340 people don't believe 0.86

00:48:39.100 your own lying eyes and 1.00

00:48:40.220 your lying ears. 0.99

00:48:41.400 How long can a culture 0.99

00:48:42.860 persist in that unstable

00:48:45.020 way and still remain a

00:48:47.160 nation?
