00:00:30.000 The dramatic trial of Kyle Rittenhouse is coming to a close.
00:00:34.420 The prosecutor made his final arguments yesterday.
00:00:37.680 And as with most of the prosecutor's tactics,
00:00:40.820 these closing remarks left a lot of people scratching their heads.
00:00:45.380 So what does he do that night?
00:00:48.080 Oh, let me tell you all the awful things Joseph Rosenbaum did.
00:00:52.060 He tipped over a porta potty that had no one in it.
00:00:56.020 He swung a chain.
00:00:57.100 He lit a metal garbage dumpster on fire.
00:01:03.260 Oh, and there's this empty wooden flatbed trailer that they pulled out in the middle of the road
00:01:08.080 and they tipped it over to stop some bearcats and they lit it on fire.
00:01:11.700 Oh, and he said some bad words.
00:01:14.820 He said the N-word.
00:01:15.700 Is that all he did?
00:01:18.860 He just destroyed a bunch of stuff and then set a bunch of stuff on fire and then tipped over a truck
00:01:26.220 after he repeatedly raped kids and threatened to kill Kyle Rittenhouse and then tried to kill Kyle Rittenhouse,
00:01:31.860 which is the very act that prompted Kyle to defend himself.
00:01:34.500 That's all he did.
00:01:35.640 Oh, look.
00:01:35.900 What did he do?
00:01:36.880 What did he do?
00:01:37.540 Just a ton of things that led to the very moment that justified Kyle Rittenhouse shooting him.
00:01:43.060 With a prosecution like this, why would Rittenhouse need a defense?
00:01:47.780 Incredibly, the arguments only got worse from there.
00:01:50.500 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:01:51.320 This is the Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:52.160 Welcome back to the show.
00:02:00.400 My favorite comment yesterday from Robert Rittenhouse, who said,
00:02:03.860 Michael, Jen Psaki's words merely lacked economy.
00:02:07.660 She should have left it at Joe Biden doesn't spend much time thinking.
00:02:12.580 You make a very good point.
00:02:13.800 I should have thought of this myself.
00:02:15.680 When Jen Psaki says Joe Biden doesn't spend a lot of time thinking about the Let's Go Brandon chants,
00:02:21.100 that is obviously true because the Let's Go Brandon chants are one part of anything,
00:02:28.440 and Joe Biden doesn't spend much time thinking about anything, so you're absolutely right.
00:02:33.140 You know, when I want to tune out and stop thinking about all the troubles of the world,
00:02:37.320 I like to do it over a nice glass of wine, which is why I would recommend you check out First Leaf.
00:02:41.620 If you're like me, you don't really know anything about wine, okay?
00:02:45.140 I wish I did.
00:02:46.680 There's just so many choices.
00:02:47.900 You walk into the wine shop, you think,
00:02:49.180 I have no idea where to begin, and it can be really hit or miss,
00:02:52.280 and it's not even like the price will just tell you.
00:02:54.460 Sometimes you can buy an expensive wine that's no good.
00:02:56.600 Sometimes you buy a cheap wine that's really, really good.
00:02:59.160 The people who make this easy for you, First Leaf.
00:03:02.600 First Leaf Wine Club is the best wine club I have ever subscribed to.
00:03:07.340 They gave me a freebie once when they first came on the show,
00:03:09.800 and I said, okay, I'll try it out, and it was so good.
00:03:11.860 I just shelled out my credit card.
00:03:13.600 I said, we got to keep doing this, baby.
00:03:15.280 This is great because what they do is they curate wines to your tastes.
00:03:19.140 You fill out some questions about your taste preferences,
00:03:21.560 and maybe in the box they'll throw in one bottle just to shake things up
00:03:26.200 and see what you think.
00:03:26.860 And then the more that you rate them, the better they get at matching your taste.
00:03:31.900 They're really tremendous, tremendous wines.
00:03:34.120 Join today.
00:03:34.480 You'll get six bottles of wine for $29.95 plus free shipping.
00:03:37.600 An insane deal.

00:03:46.780 The prosecutor in the Kyle Rittenhouse case is the Charlie Kelly of prosecutors.
00:03:53.280 It is like the worst episode of Always Sunny ever.
00:03:57.980 The prosecutor, the more that his arguments fail, the more that the judge loses patience
00:04:05.000 with him, the more desperate and outlandish he seems to get.
00:04:08.780 I am waiting for this prosecutor to bring up Byrd Law, as one might do in an episode of
00:04:14.780 It's Always Sunny.
00:04:16.720 One of the final closing arguments that the prosecutor made is that if you arm yourself,
00:04:24.680 if you exercise your Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms,
00:04:28.320 you paradoxically lose the right to self-defense.
00:04:33.820 He brought his AR-15.
00:04:36.640 That's why he's got to come up with this cockamamie theory that Joseph Rosenbaum was not only going
00:04:42.880 to take the gun, but take it and then turn it on the defendant.
00:04:47.280 And the defendant actually told you that he thought Joseph Rosenbaum was going to take that
00:04:52.760 gun and not only kill him, but kill other people.
00:04:55.020 Which is really ironic, considering the defendant is the one who killed people in this case,
00:04:59.360 and the only one.
00:05:00.580 But putting that aside, they have to convince you that Joseph Rosenbaum was going to take
00:05:07.080 that gun and use it on the defendant because they know you can't claim self-defense against
00:05:14.560 an unarmed man like this.
00:05:17.400 You lose the right to self-defense when you're the one who brought the gun, when you're the
00:05:22.400 one creating the danger.
00:05:23.800 So that is simply not true.
00:05:27.960 That is completely, that has no basis in the law or in history or in common sense.
00:05:35.400 You can't lose your right to self-defense if you are defending yourself, if you're arming
00:05:40.420 yourself to defend yourself.
00:05:42.220 Then you don't have a right to self-defense.
00:05:43.920 And furthermore, if the prosecutor's claim is that Kyle Rittenhouse had no reason to believe
00:05:53.220 that Joseph Rosenbaum, this dead child rapist, obviously he wasn't dead at the time, but he
00:06:00.580 was a child rapist at the time.
00:06:01.960 And what he did do at the time is threaten to kill Kyle Rittenhouse.
00:06:06.360 So the prosecutor's saying, this is a cockamamie, crazy theory that he pulled out of thin air that
00:06:10.720 he was afraid that Joseph Rosenbaum was going to kill him.
00:06:13.080 He literally threatened to do that.
00:06:14.780 He actually said, I am going to kill you guys if I see you out tonight.
00:06:19.640 And then he tried to, and then he got killed for his trouble.
00:06:22.520 That's what happens.
00:06:23.140 That's called self-defense.
00:06:23.900 Then, as if the prosecutor had not embarrassed himself enough, he decided to reenact the scene.
00:06:33.640 He thought, okay, look, my rhetorical skills are pretty subpar, but maybe if I pantomime
00:06:41.320 what happened, if I act it out, maybe then I will be able to convince the jury that Kyle
00:06:46.960 Rittenhouse's obvious self-defense was not justified.
00:06:50.000 So this maniac picks up an AR-15 and just starts swinging it around the courtroom.
00:06:56.160 The defendant comes running in and drops the fire extinguisher on the ground like this.
00:07:04.100 And then raises his left hand to the gun and points.
00:07:09.720 This is what we see in the video.
00:07:12.500 Him putting the fire extinguisher on the ground and then raising the gun.
00:07:16.120 Whoa!
00:07:16.900 Your honor, I'm going to object.
00:07:18.020 He's facing the wrong direction.
00:07:20.440 That's an argument.
00:07:21.720 Okay.
00:07:22.800 Whoa, buddy, chill out.
00:07:25.960 Chill out with the AR-15, you lunatic.
00:07:29.420 Look, I'm not saying that I have the most intense, rigorous firearms training, that I am some
00:07:35.860 expert on guns.
00:07:36.720 I'm not.
00:07:37.020 I have some firearms training.
00:07:38.660 I've fired a gun on a number of occasions, and I've had people show me how to do it.
00:07:43.020 And what's the first thing they tell you not to do?
00:07:44.880 The very first thing, if you've ever touched a gun in your life, the first thing they tell
00:07:50.520 you not to do, don't point it at people.
00:07:52.980 Actually, there are two first things you're going to hear.
00:07:55.300 Don't point it at people and don't put your finger on the trigger unless you are ready to
00:08:00.200 kill whatever is in front of the barrel of that gun.
00:08:02.740 And what does this schmuck do?
00:08:05.220 He picks up a freaking AR-15, puts his finger on the trigger and starts swinging it around
00:08:11.100 the courtroom.
00:08:11.840 He should be disbarred for this.
00:08:14.600 That's not an exaggeration.
00:08:16.880 If I were at a gun range, if I were in a gun store and I behaved like this, I would be kicked
00:08:22.200 out of that store in two seconds, much less a court of law.
00:08:27.120 But the gun's not loaded.
00:08:29.680 Okay, first of all, if you've been paying attention to the news over the past few weeks,
00:08:34.540 you'll know that sometimes people think guns aren't loaded when they actually are.
00:08:38.620 If the set of Alec Baldwin's movie had paid a little more attention to gun safety, the
00:08:42.700 cinematographer would still be alive.
00:08:45.560 But two, it just shows the unseriousness of this prosecution.
00:08:52.220 This guy, this prosecutor who's representing the state, is trying to make claims about Kyle
00:09:00.020 Rittenhouse's use of a gun and his use of his right to self-defense without knowing even
00:09:05.360 the most basic things about guns or the right to self-defense.
00:09:10.600 He was wrong on the law and he's wrong on the gun.
00:09:13.600 And he has absolutely no idea what he's talking about.
00:09:16.040 And the only thing that he can hope for in this case is that the culture of scapegoating
00:09:22.980 Kyle Rittenhouse, the culture of saying right-wing bad, left-wing good, white guy bad, all the
00:09:30.180 victims, not victims, all of the people who were killed by Kyle Rittenhouse in self-defense
00:09:34.760 in this case were white too.
00:09:36.180 So the race isn't a huge issue here, but it was at a BLM protest.
00:09:38.480 So, you know, BLM rioters good, anti-BLM protesters bad, right?
00:09:46.580 They're just counting on this media narrative and the pressure of the president and the
00:09:53.340 pressure of BLM and the threats that are coming in from the left to try to sway the jury.
00:09:57.740 Because on the facts of the case, on the logic of the case, the prosecution doesn't have anything.
00:10:04.920 The one charge, the one charge in this case that I thought maybe they'll get Kyle Rittenhouse
00:10:10.420 on, or maybe they ought to get Kyle Rittenhouse on, is the gun charge.
00:10:15.580 Maybe he shouldn't have had that gun.
00:10:17.660 Maybe that gun wasn't legal to have in that place or to be held by him at that time.
00:10:22.020 That was one of the charges against Kyle Rittenhouse.
00:10:24.120 And the judge threw that one out yesterday.
00:10:26.620 Is the firearm here now?
00:10:28.220 Yes.
00:10:28.700 We can either measure it, or you can stipulate that it does not meet what I've stated are
00:10:38.440 the requirements.
00:10:39.460 And if it is out of compliance, if the barrel length is less than 60 inches, or an overall
00:10:55.080 length less than 26 inches, then I'll deny the motion.
00:10:59.740 If it does not meet those specifications, then the defense motion will be granted.
00:11:04.460 We are not disputing that the barrel, that the barrel length is appropriate.
00:11:14.860 Is it legal?
00:11:17.620 It is not a short-barreled shotgun, or a short-barreled rifle, yes.
00:11:22.260 Either by barrel or by overall length?
00:11:24.960 Correct.
00:11:25.740 All right.
00:11:26.280 And then count to six is dismissed.
00:11:29.420 There it is.
00:11:30.260 And then that's dismissed.
00:11:31.180 And the prosecution, you know, Tweedledee and Tweedledum sitting over there, keep answering
00:11:36.980 very reluctantly.
00:11:38.180 They're answering all the judge's questions.
00:11:40.000 So, hold on.
00:11:40.520 You're telling me the barrel length is fine?
00:11:43.060 Yeah.
00:11:43.560 Yeah, the barrel length is fine.
00:11:44.540 Okay.
00:11:44.740 And you're telling me the overall length of the gun is fine?
00:11:46.660 Yeah.
00:11:47.140 Yeah.
00:11:47.440 That's true.
00:11:48.220 So, you're telling me the gun is not an illegal gun?
00:11:50.140 Well, yeah, I guess all the parts of it are legal.
00:11:53.500 And no.
00:11:54.600 So, yeah, I guess.
00:11:55.400 Okay.
00:11:55.800 No, it's not a legal gun.
00:11:56.780 It's illegal.
00:11:57.500 Yeah.
00:11:58.600 Okay.
00:11:58.920 Well, then that dumb charge is dismissed.
00:12:00.660 So, the best shot you had, other than relying on mob rule and political pressure and scapegoating,
00:12:08.340 the best legal case you had, thrown out the window.
00:12:14.240 You know, speaking of windows, it's very important to get good window treatments.
00:12:20.000 That is going to really, really help beautify your home, which is why I would recommend you
00:12:23.500 check out Hunter Douglas.

00:12:39.500 Maybe it's the way the shades diffuse harsh sunlight to cast a beautiful glow across the
00:12:43.880 room.
00:12:44.020 Maybe it's being able to enjoy the view outside the window while protecting your privacy inside.
00:12:49.440 Or maybe it's just that Goldilocks moment when you walk into a room and everything about
00:12:53.680 it looks and feels just right.
00:12:55.280 I find this, especially as a conservative myself, I think aesthetics really matter.
00:12:59.280 I think being in beautiful places really matters, especially with light.
00:13:01.920 It was one of the main things I was focused on when I was looking to get my house here in

00:13:28.020 So, the prosecution case is failing.
00:13:35.620 The jury might still convict him.
00:13:37.440 We don't know.
00:13:38.300 But the prosecution's case is failing.
00:13:42.320 And so, what can we expect?
00:13:44.420 People to say a good law has been upheld.
00:13:48.940 Justice has been done.
00:13:50.460 We have faith in our institutions.
00:13:52.140 We trust the pillars of our democracy and we will stand by.
00:13:56.500 No, the libs are going to riot if he gets off the hook.
00:14:00.280 And that's what they're expecting.
00:14:01.280 And that's what the Democrat governor of Wisconsin is expecting.
00:14:03.880 The Democrat governor of Wisconsin, Tony Evers, has placed 500 Wisconsin National Guard troops
00:14:08.940 on standby in Kenosha for the expected verdict in the Rittenhouse case because he's concerned
00:14:16.240 about violence.
00:14:17.280 Is he concerned about violence from Trump supporters?
00:14:19.700 No.
00:14:20.260 From white supremacists who don't really exist?
00:14:23.620 No.
00:14:23.980 From the insurrectionist right-winger?
00:14:27.980 No.
00:14:28.400 It's from the libs.
00:14:29.440 The libs who torched the country and rioted and committed murder and were arsons and started
00:14:36.560 all of this madness in the first place.
00:14:38.320 How did the Kyle Rittenhouse case even happen?
00:14:40.580 The Kyle Rittenhouse case happened because a degenerate criminal named Jacob Blake went
00:14:44.900 into a home, sexually assaulted a woman, and then drove off with a van full of her kids
00:14:49.600 and, or tried to drive off in a van full of her kids.
00:14:52.000 And before he could do that, he resisted arrest a bunch of times.
00:14:54.540 And finally, before he got in that car with a weapon in there, a cop shot him completely
00:14:59.600 justifiably.
00:15:00.760 And then the libs rioted over that.
00:15:03.000 And the libs rioted and attacked people and burned down stores and burned down property.
00:15:07.560 And then Kyle Rittenhouse went to protect some of that.
00:15:10.040 And he was threatened with murder and he fired back in self-defense.
00:15:14.380 That's how we got here.
00:15:15.620 You don't need to go back to ancient history.
00:15:17.520 You just need to go back a few days before the events that are in question took place.
00:15:21.880 And now it looks like we're going to get a whole repeat.
00:15:24.140 It's deja vu all over again.
00:15:26.060 And it's not the right-wing insurrectionist people.
00:15:30.360 You know, when, when the libs, I guess they still say this, when they said that the January
00:15:35.680 6th, January 6th Capitol Hill riot, when they said that was the worst insurrection in our
00:15:43.180 country in history, or it was the worst attack on Washington since 1812, or it was whatever.
00:15:50.380 They were not only wrong, they were perfectly wrong.
00:15:53.940 The, the Capitol Hill incident was not even the worst insurrection of the year.
00:16:00.400 Wasn't the worst insurrection in six months.
00:16:03.840 Wasn't the deadliest, wasn't the most destructive, wasn't the greatest threat to our system of law.
00:16:09.400 That insurrection was called BLM.
00:16:11.860 That insurrection was called Antifa.
00:16:13.500 And that took place for six months, eight months, cities around the country.
00:16:18.000 And it looks poised to take place again.
00:16:20.200 The Democrat governor believes that's the case.
00:16:21.740 We have Daily Wire reporters on the ground right now in Kenosha because, look, hopefully
00:16:27.500 it's totally peaceful, but if past is precedent, it won't be.
00:16:33.780 This is, the reason I bring it up is not just to harp on the libs and point out how they're
00:16:38.700 burning the country to the ground.
00:16:39.780 It's to give you a little tool here, which I suspect many of you have intuited already,
00:16:44.800 which is, this is generally a way to tell who the good guys are and who the bad guys are.
00:16:51.160 If the verdict in a trial is going to, even, even if it were an unjust verdict, which in
00:16:57.160 this case, if Rittenhouse gets off, that will be a very just verdict.
00:17:00.560 But even if it were unjust, if the, the verdict is going to cause one group of people to burn
00:17:06.200 things down and kill people and, and riot in the streets, that group, they're probably the baddies.
00:17:13.420 They're probably not the goodies.
00:17:14.660 They're probably the baddies.
00:17:16.760 And the libs who are, continue to talk about January 6th as though it were more than just
00:17:26.240 a little blip in the news cycle compared to what else has gone on.
00:17:30.020 They are either ignorant or disingenuous.
00:17:33.980 And there are a handful of so-called Republicans who are helping them out to do that as well.
00:17:38.400 Although I guess they might not be Republicans for long.
00:17:40.920 The Wyoming Republican party has just voted to kick Liz Cheney out of the party.
00:17:48.500 They, they are no longer recognizing Liz Cheney as a member of the Republican party.
00:17:53.320 And I, you know, I hate to say I told you so.
00:17:57.020 I'm not sure if I had anything to do with this vote, but the timing is a little bit weird because
00:18:01.360 yesterday, yesterday or the day before on this show, I guess it would have been yesterday
00:18:06.300 because today's Tuesday.
00:18:07.380 Yesterday on the show, I mentioned that Liz Cheney simply is not a Republican as a practical
00:18:14.300 matter.
00:18:14.820 She might have an R next to her name.
00:18:17.140 She might even vote with Republicans on a number of issues, but as a practical matter,
00:18:21.900 whenever there is a crucial vote, whenever there is an actual fight between the Democrats
00:18:28.040 and the Republicans, she now sides with the Democrats.
00:18:31.180 And that's true in party politics.
00:18:33.520 It's true in the media.
00:18:34.920 Where does she go on TV?
00:18:35.940 She goes on the left-wing news networks.
00:18:38.500 She takes orders from Nancy Pelosi in the crucial presidential election.
00:18:42.860 She votes for the Democrat in the crucial votes in the house.
00:18:45.400 She votes with the Democrats.
00:18:46.480 So she just is a Democrat and she's dishonest as far as Democrats go because she pretends to
00:18:52.760 be a Republican.
00:18:53.760 And so I, I said, if you were to kick Liz Cheney out of the Republican party, it's not as though
00:18:58.420 that would be a punishment or some acrimonious, big momentous event.
00:19:02.260 It's, it would just be acknowledging reality.
00:19:04.420 She is not a Republican for all intents and purposes.
00:19:08.580 And the Wyoming GOP apparently recognizes that.
00:19:11.140 And it's, it's, that's an important thing.
00:19:17.480 Not because I even, who cares about Liz Cheney?
00:19:19.360 She doesn't really matter all that much.
00:19:21.120 No one, no one really supports her.
00:19:24.000 No Republicans really support her right now.
00:19:25.940 And the Democrats are only pretending to support her because she's useful to them.
00:19:29.740 But the minute she's no longer useful to them, they're going to throw her to the curb.
00:19:32.300 So she, she doesn't matter, but the principle matters, okay?
00:19:36.740 It is important for your political party to acknowledge reality.
00:19:41.260 And, and so in this case, they are now beginning to acknowledge reality.
00:19:44.760 It's not, it's not about infighting on the Republicans or all the Republicans scrapping
00:19:48.360 with one another.
00:19:49.480 The girl just isn't, she just isn't a Republican, okay?
00:19:52.180 And the Wyoming GOP is acknowledging that.
00:19:54.040 Now, speaking of political infighting, there is even more delicious political infighting going
00:20:00.480 on right now among the Democrats, not just among any Democrats, between the president
00:20:06.220 and the vice president.
00:20:09.880 You remember that Kamala Harris is a very upset with Joe Biden.
00:20:16.160 She feels that she's being sidelined.
00:20:18.480 She's not being respected.
00:20:19.580 She's not being defended.
00:20:20.400 She's got lower approval ratings than any vice president in decades, if not ever.
00:20:25.960 She's got a lower approval rating right now than Dick Cheney did in 2007 after the
00:20:30.380 Iraq war and after he shot a guy in the face.
00:20:32.940 So she is really, really low.
00:20:35.240 They were calling Dick Cheney Darth Vader in those days, okay?
00:20:39.200 And she's lower than him, about 27, 28%.
00:20:42.440 And so she wants political support from Joe Biden.
00:20:46.360 Joe Biden either can't give it to her, he's not capable of it, or he's not willing to give
00:20:50.840 it to her.
00:20:51.420 So this is what CNN's reporting.
00:20:53.660 Many in the vice president's circle fume that she's not being adequately prepared or positioned
00:20:57.760 and instead is being sidelined.
00:20:59.900 The vice president herself has told several confidants she feels constrained in what she's
00:21:04.600 able to do politically.
00:21:05.740 Yeah, duh, of course you're restrained.
00:21:07.100 You're the vice president.
00:21:07.960 Your job is to take orders from the president.
00:21:10.020 Biden says, jump.
00:21:10.780 You say, how high?
00:21:11.480 That's your job.
00:21:12.900 So what's she going to do?
00:21:14.320 What can Kamala Harris do?
00:21:17.320 She's in a position where she is serving entirely at the pleasure of the president.
00:21:21.200 She is in a role that historically is just not that important.
00:21:26.920 She isn't particularly likable in herself.
00:21:29.180 That's why she was the first person out of the race in 2016, or 2020 rather, in the Democrat
00:21:34.040 primary.
00:21:35.180 So what's she going to do?
00:21:35.900 She's going to do one of the only things she ever could do in her political career.
00:21:40.020 She's going to play the race card.
00:21:42.240 That's right.
00:21:43.000 She, this is according to the CNN reporting.
00:21:45.080 A former Harris staffer who spoke to current aides and Harris allies said, it's hard to
00:21:50.380 miss the specific energy that the White House brings to defend a white man, Pete Buttigieg,
00:21:55.560 knowing that Kamala Harris spent almost a year taking a lot of the hits that the West Wing
00:22:00.420 didn't want to take themselves.
00:22:03.100 Yeah, so they're willing to support Pete Buttigieg.
00:22:04.880 Why is that?
00:22:06.060 Is it because, well, we'll just tell you.
00:22:07.640 It's because he's a white guy.
00:22:09.400 Kamala's a black guy.
00:22:10.140 Hey, Joe, if you don't back us up, Joe, we're going to call you racist.
00:22:15.080 It's the only thing we can do.
00:22:16.920 We don't have any skills or likability or any moves, but there's one thing we got, baby.
00:22:23.260 It's the color of our skin, Joe.
00:22:25.360 And we're, it's the worst thing you can be called in America.
00:22:28.460 You want to be called a racist, Joe?
00:22:30.460 You better defend us.
00:22:31.620 You better watch out.
00:22:34.440 Now, we can all engage in a little schadenfreude here.
00:22:39.020 We can all take a little pleasure in Joe Biden and the Democrats getting hoisted on their
00:22:44.580 own petard, right, on that they love to play the race card.
00:22:48.380 They love to use disingenuous accusations of racism against us and against their opponents.
00:22:54.240 And now it's being used against them.
00:22:56.040 And that's a delicious thing.
00:22:57.320 But it is still wrong.
00:22:58.700 It's a bad thing to have happen.
00:23:02.540 And it's silly.
00:23:04.080 The premise of it is that racism, which today means basically nothing, it's been defined
00:23:09.680 to mean nothing at all, is the worst possible thing in the world.
00:23:13.000 But there are, there are worse things, right?
00:23:15.780 Genocide.
00:23:16.320 That would be, that would be a worse thing.
00:23:17.860 I guess it's related, but abortion, that's a much worse thing.
00:23:21.320 Rape and murder, those are worse things than, like, there, there are worse things than racism.
00:23:29.040 And, and yet in our shallow moral discourse these days, it's the worst thing you've got.
00:23:33.920 And the White House, they got the message.
00:23:36.160 The White House actually did respond.
00:23:39.700 Now, the White House doesn't respond to calls for gasoline prices to go down.
00:23:45.120 So we're responding ourselves.
00:23:46.460 That's why you got to check out GetUpside, GetUpside, that is a command.

00:24:50.360 It is no secret that the left is going to force compliance with their radical agenda across the
00:24:55.700 board.
00:24:55.920 Whether it's the media lying to push their gun control narrative over the course of the
00:24:59.900 Rittenhouse trial, whether it's the government's, federal government's attempt to enforce vaccine
00:25:04.120 mandates on employers, it is becoming clear that compliance, getting you to kneel to them
00:25:10.620 is the goal.
00:25:11.640 That's why here at The Daily Wire, we're fighting every day against this kind of tyranny.
00:25:16.280 From our honest coverage of the Rittenhouse trial to the lawsuit we've taken out against
00:25:20.700 the Biden administration for their unconstitutional vaccine mandates, we're applying the pressure.
00:25:25.480 We're not just fighting for our own employees.
00:25:28.460 I'm glad that we're fighting for our own employees, but we're not just fighting for them.
00:25:31.740 We're fighting for the freedom of every single American who's facing termination based on
00:25:36.240 this unconstitutional mandate.
00:25:38.840 Very important that everyone's voice is loud right now.
00:25:41.540 If you want to support the fight to make your personal medical decisions without the government
00:25:45.460 having your employers force you to take the Fauci-ouchie, sign our petition against Biden's mandate.
00:25:51.160 Hundreds of thousands of Americans have already signed the petition, but we need many more
00:25:55.740 people to stand with us to reach our goal of one million.
00:25:58.580 So please head on over to dailywire.com slash do not comply to sign the petition today.
00:26:02.580 We'll be right back with a lot more.
00:26:04.280 Kamala Harris has been whining for a long time and her approval ratings are plummeting.
00:26:22.780 So she made one complaint that the White House had to respond to.
00:26:25.960 She, through back channels, through leaks, through allies of friends, of associates,
00:26:32.940 said that Joe Biden's a racist.
00:26:35.400 He defends Buttigieg more than he defends me.
00:26:37.300 He's a big racist.
00:26:38.840 Gosh, sure would be a shame if the VP had to call Joe Biden a racist and then all of a sudden
00:26:42.540 the White House responds.
00:26:45.240 But listen to how they respond.
00:26:47.580 Quote, this is from Jen Psaki, White House press secretary.
00:26:50.140 Quote, for anyone who needs to hear it, the vice president is not only a vital partner,
00:26:55.960 to the president of the United States, but a bold leader who has taken on key important
00:27:01.520 challenges facing the country, from voting rights, to addressing root causes of migration,
00:27:07.300 to expanding broadband.
00:27:09.880 Oh, that is, oh, hell hath no fury.
00:27:17.300 Like a press secretary who is being, who is defending her man, who is, who is facing criticism
00:27:25.400 from the vice president.
00:27:27.560 It's, it sounds, look, this is such a beautifully crafted tweet.
00:27:30.520 I, I have got to hand it to Jen Psaki.
00:27:32.620 We occasionally make fun of Jen Psaki for not being as good at her job as her predecessor
00:27:36.480 was.
00:27:36.960 But this was a really well-written tweet.
00:27:39.940 It kind of broadly looks like she's defending Kamala Harris.
00:27:44.180 But every line, every syllable is attacking Kamala Harris.
00:27:48.460 For anyone who needs to hear it, right?
00:27:50.280 She's saying, I don't want to send this tweet.
00:27:51.520 I, you guys are making this in the street.
00:27:53.240 I hate, I'm doing it grudgingly.
00:27:55.260 The VP is not only a vital partner, not a good partner, not an excellent partner, not
00:28:02.420 a wonderful, good, terrific, good for the country partner.
00:28:05.960 No, vital, vital meaning alive.
00:28:09.660 She's not only does she have a pulse, but she's a bold leader.
00:28:13.800 Again, not a good leader, not an impressive leader, not an accomplished leader, bold.
00:28:18.760 And she is bold.
00:28:19.580 You're pretty bold if you're the vice president and you're going to accuse your boss of racism.
00:28:24.340 The guy who picked you, a woman of color, of color.
00:28:29.180 That's right.
00:28:29.600 That's the magic card.
00:28:30.880 And that's the only reason she was picked.
00:28:32.240 Joe Biden actually admitted that.
00:28:33.200 He said, I'm going to pick a black woman.
00:28:34.320 And then he had two choices.
00:28:35.340 It was, he had three choices.
00:28:36.860 He had Kamala Harris, who is awful and unlikable in the first person out of the primary.
00:28:40.920 He had Karen Bass, who's literally a communist, Congresswoman Karen Bass.
00:28:45.160 And he had Susan Rice, who was the fall man for Benghazi.
00:28:47.480 So the latter two, he couldn't pick.
00:28:50.520 So he was stuck with Kamala Harris, a bold leader, okay, who has taken on key important
00:28:54.960 challenges facing the country from voting rights.
00:28:57.940 Voting, what does that even mean?
00:28:59.000 There's nothing, nothing's really a big deal with voting rights, right?
00:29:02.780 No one's, no one's right to vote is really threatened.
00:29:04.740 And in as much as the right to vote is threatened, the Democrats are losing on, right?
00:29:08.640 Because the Republican voter integrity measures are going into a place.
00:29:12.300 So either a nothing burger or a failure to addressing the root causes of migration.
00:29:18.240 Well, we've got the worst migration crisis possibly in our history going on right now.
00:29:22.140 So that total failure to expanding broadband.
00:29:26.420 That's just that, that's the twist of the knife.
00:29:29.860 If it weren't obvious before, and I think it was, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris detest one another.
00:29:37.960 They don't like each other.
00:29:39.020 Don't forget, Kamala Harris's high point of her presidential campaign was when she, like this,
00:29:44.080 accused Joe Biden of being a racist and saying that Joe Biden was trying to segregate schools
00:29:49.220 when she was a kid or some kind of nonsense, right?
00:29:52.700 There is no love lost between these people, but they have to stick together.
00:29:58.200 This is their bed and they have made it.
00:30:01.080 Kamala Harris knows a thing or two about this in politics.
00:30:03.540 When you make your bed, you have to lie in it.
00:30:06.300 And in this case, Kamala Harris made herself into the token candidate.
00:30:11.640 From day one, she was going to be the token candidate.
00:30:13.840 I'm going to make race the central issue of my campaign.
00:30:16.080 And I'm going to accuse my strongest opponents of racism.
00:30:18.640 And Joe Biden launched his campaign by saying Donald Trump's a racist.
00:30:21.340 That was the first thing he said in the campaign.
00:30:22.980 And I'm not going to be a racist.
00:30:24.080 So he had to prove that by picking at least a black person, if not a black woman,
00:30:28.740 to get even more intersectional points.
00:30:30.660 And now they're stuck together.
00:30:32.860 And we get to pull out the popcorn and enjoy the theatrics.
00:30:36.940 Speaking of unlikable Democrats, I can't believe that this is not a Saturday Night Live sketch.
00:30:45.060 I guess the way I know that this is not a Saturday Night Live sketch is that this is funny.
00:30:48.540 We have a twice-failed Democrat from Texas now announcing a third run.
00:30:56.360 He ran for Senate and lost.
00:30:58.420 He ran for president and really lost.
00:31:01.500 And now what happens when you lose twice?
00:31:05.260 You run a third time for a completely different office.
00:31:08.180 Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Beto for governor of Texas.
00:31:13.060 I'm running for governor.
00:31:14.500 And I want to tell you why.
00:31:15.640 Okay, this past February, when the electricity grid failed and millions of our fellow Texans
00:31:21.380 were without power, which meant that the lights wouldn't turn on, the heat wouldn't run,
00:31:26.140 and pretty soon their pipes froze and the water stopped flowing, they were abandoned by those
00:31:31.600 who were elected to serve and look out for them.
00:31:35.260 It's a symptom of a much larger problem that we have in Texas right now.
00:31:38.620 Those in positions of public trust have stopped listening to, serving, and paying attention
00:31:44.460 to, and trusting the people of Texas.
00:31:46.680 And so they're not focused on the things that we really want them to do, like making sure
00:31:50.540 that we have a functioning electricity grid, or that we're creating the best jobs in America
00:31:54.820 right here in Texas, or that we have world-class schools, or that we make progress on the things
00:31:59.640 that most of us actually agree on, like expanding Medicaid or legalizing marijuana.
00:32:04.920 So guys, I, look bros, I just, I just really want to be a politician, all right?
00:32:12.740 I'm just going to put my cards on the table.
00:32:14.940 He, this guy is more Matthew McConaughey than Matthew McConaughey.
00:32:18.440 You know what people said Matthew McConaughey is going to run for governor?
00:32:21.000 He sort of is.
00:32:21.860 It's just, it's like Matthew McConaughey without the intelligence or virtue or charisma,
00:32:26.380 then you get Beto O'Rourke.
00:32:27.660 And so he's running because he just really wants to be a politician.
00:32:29.900 And it's very easy to make fun of Beto.
00:32:32.560 He is probably the most easily mockable politician alive.
00:32:39.840 I'm trying to think of one who's, someone said that Beto is like the Democrat Jeb, not even
00:32:45.660 close.
00:32:46.180 Jeb is like Alexander the Great compared to Beto O'Rourke, okay?
00:32:49.840 Jeb is Charlemagne compared to Beto O'Rourke.
00:32:52.440 But, well, we can mock him as a skateboarding, dude bro, whiny, millennial,
00:32:59.180 Kerouac reading joke, loser.
00:33:05.020 I wouldn't count him out.
00:33:06.940 I wouldn't, I wouldn't.
00:33:08.200 I'm urging caution.
00:33:09.360 Do not, do not count Beto out.
00:33:11.680 He's a joke whose high point of his presidential campaign was when he said, hell yeah, I'm going
00:33:15.760 to take your AR-15s.
00:33:17.460 Yeah, yeah, man.
00:33:20.480 Yeah, yeah.
00:33:21.560 Wouldn't it be cool?
00:33:22.340 What if the color that you see as green, I see as blue?
00:33:25.680 You know, he's just like, his lines just come out of freshman philosophy seminars.
00:33:29.260 But, persistence can pay off.
00:33:33.160 Okay, we talked about this yesterday on the show, the power of persistence.
00:33:36.700 Democrats are nothing if not persistent.
00:33:38.880 John Ossoff ran for Congress in Georgia.
00:33:41.780 He was a joke.
00:33:43.400 He was a very silly candidate that the Democrats, and especially people in Hollywood, dumped
00:33:47.940 about a bazillion dollars into, and then he lost.
00:33:50.700 And we all laughed at him, and he even looked like Beto, and he kind of talked like Beto.
00:33:54.340 And you know what he is now?
00:33:55.500 He's Senator Ossoff because he lost.
00:33:58.760 He loses, loses, loses, loses until he wins, right?
00:34:01.160 He's just, they are just persistent.
00:34:03.960 Stacey Abrams loses the Georgia governor's race.
00:34:06.260 If you asked a lot of people in Georgia right now who's the governor, they would probably tell
00:34:09.800 you Stacey Abrams because she's so persistent.
00:34:13.340 She keeps, she tried to be vice president.
00:34:15.860 I'm sure she's going to run again.
00:34:17.580 She's going to run for a million other offices until she wins.
00:34:21.700 Richard Nixon, actually.
00:34:22.800 He's one of ours who did this.
00:34:24.900 Richard Nixon had the presidential race stolen from him in 1960, and he keeps running, runs,
00:34:29.840 runs, runs, runs, runs, and then he wins.
00:34:31.320 Do not count out, it's not, it's not enough for Republicans to just pass the law, get the
00:34:38.840 decision from the judge, sign the executive order, and then say we've solved it.
00:34:43.040 No, you've got to keep up that persistence.
00:34:46.200 I can't believe we have to learn anything from Beto O'Rourke, but we might.
00:34:48.880 And speaking of persistence, President Trump, President Trump is dominating the 2024 Republican
00:34:58.980 presidential field.
00:34:59.700 A lot of us are talking about who should the candidate be in 2024.
00:35:04.740 A lot of people are talking about Ron DeSantis.
00:35:07.360 A lot of people would mention Ted Cruz.
00:35:09.180 He was basically the number two guy in 2016.
00:35:11.800 A lot of people are talking about, I don't know, Josh Hawley.
00:35:13.900 Josh Hawley clearly wants to run.
00:35:14.960 A lot of people are talking about Nikki Haley.
00:35:16.780 She would run in the more moderate lane, probably.
00:35:19.260 A lot of people are talking about, I don't know, Kristi Noem.
00:35:21.680 She's an attractive candidate.
00:35:23.180 She did well during COVID.
00:35:25.300 She would also probably be a little bit more moderate.
00:35:26.900 People are talking about Tim Scott.
00:35:27.820 None of that matters right now.
00:35:30.400 What I'm here to tell you is it doesn't matter what that great thing is that DeSantis did in Florida or what that great piece of legislation.
00:35:37.820 The only question that matters for the 2024 presidential race is will Trump run or will he not run?
00:35:45.080 Because if he runs, he's going to clear the field.
00:35:48.140 Almost certainly.
00:35:50.640 There was an Iowa caucus poll that was just taken.
00:35:55.420 This was just obtained by Breitbart.
00:35:57.600 The survey from pollster Rick Shafton's Neighborhood Research and Media shows that Trump right now is polling at 56%.
00:36:06.320 Significantly more than half the voters in the Iowa caucus poll are on Trump's side.
00:36:14.120 Okay, do you know who the number two was?
00:36:19.260 The number two is Ron DeSantis.
00:36:20.640 Do you know what his number was?
00:36:23.220 12.3%.
00:36:24.640 12.3%.
00:36:26.020 Trump is beating DeSantis, the number two guy, by more than 40 percentage points.
00:36:33.520 After that, you've got Kristi Noem, 2.1%.
00:36:38.040 After that, you've got Ted Cruz, Pompeo, other people who are, Pompeo, I forgot, is obviously looking to run.
00:36:46.040 But 20.8% are undecided.
00:36:49.340 But it doesn't matter how many people are undecided.
00:36:51.320 More than half the voters are with Trump.
00:36:52.820 So it's not as though, well, with some good messaging and positioning, maybe Ron DeSantis or somebody could know.
00:36:59.320 I mean, right now, Trump is just dominating this field.
00:37:03.280 And how did he do that?
00:37:04.380 One, he's a kind of singular political figure.
00:37:06.120 But two, he's persistent.
00:37:07.540 He just won't let up.
00:37:08.740 But the guy has been running for president again ever since the ballots came in to Georgia and Wisconsin at 3 o'clock in the morning on election night 2020.
00:37:19.260 And it reminds you, a lot of the GOP positioning right now is moot.
00:37:22.040 The question that the Republicans have to answer is not, do I like DeSantis more or Cruz more or Kristi Noem more or Pompeo more or whatever.
00:37:29.420 The question Republicans have to answer is, do we want Trump again or not?
00:37:34.300 If you do, done.
00:37:35.360 Your campaign's ready to go.
00:37:36.320 If you don't, you've got to find a way to communicate that in such a way that Trump doesn't run.
00:37:42.340 Because even if you don't want Trump, if Trump runs, I think the primary is basically over.
00:37:47.720 Plus, who cares?
00:37:48.960 Who cares who gets the Republican nomination for president?
00:37:52.060 Who cares even who gets the Democrat nomination for president?
00:37:56.740 We all know who's really running the country.
00:37:58.840 Come on.
00:38:00.100 Who is the most powerful politician in the country and therefore in the world?
00:38:03.900 Five letters preceded by one title, Dr. Fauci.
00:38:11.120 And our Supreme Leader, Dr. Fauci, has some good news for us or for some of us.
00:38:17.560 In his beneficence, in his magnanimity, Dr. Fauci is going to permit some of us to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas this year.
00:38:27.700 If you get vaccinated and your family's vaccinated, you can feel good about enjoying a typical Thanksgiving, Christmas with your family and close friends.
00:38:39.920 We unfortunately still have a dynamics of infection in the community of about 70,000 new cases per day.
00:38:48.220 So when you go to indoor congregate settings, go the extra mile, be safe, wear a mask.
00:38:56.580 But when you're with your family at home, goodness, enjoy it with your parents, your children, your grandparents.
00:39:03.240 There's no reason not to do that.
00:39:05.660 This will end, Bill.
00:39:07.340 We are not going to be going through this indefinitely.
00:39:11.200 How quickly we get to the end depends on us.
00:39:16.260 How well we vaccinate, how well we get boosted, and how well we do the kinds of things to protect ourselves.
00:39:24.340 Thank you, Dr. Fauci.
00:39:25.600 Thank you for telling me that I am permitted to have Thanksgiving and Christmas with my close family and friends.
00:39:32.080 Not with anybody because you can't invite your coworkers.
00:39:34.200 All right, you can't have, I'm not talking about a 12-person table, but, you know, close people if you're vaccinated.
00:39:40.300 But what does it mean to be, well, you ought to be vaccinated and boosted.
00:39:43.540 Okay, and you've got in the, and the other occasions you need, you do need to wear your mask because this is going to end.
00:39:49.120 Don't worry, Dr. Fauci is promising you this is going to end very soon if you comply.
00:39:56.080 If, it depends on you, okay, you naughty little Americans.
00:39:59.840 If you don't, if you don't comply, it's going to go on longer.
00:40:03.280 It's going to maybe seem indefinite.
00:40:05.900 It's going to end 15 days.
00:40:07.660 It's just 15 more days, guys, okay?
00:40:10.280 But you've got to wear the mask.
00:40:12.920 Now, you've got to social distance.
00:40:14.700 Now, you've got to take the vax.
00:40:16.120 Now, you've got to take the other vax.
00:40:17.600 Then you've got to take the booster.
00:40:19.440 Then you, and just one more thing.
00:40:21.000 Just one more thing, you sheep.
00:40:22.740 Then you can go back to normal.
00:40:24.560 You've got to get another booster again.
00:40:25.960 Speaking of the Rona, speaking of coronavirus, because a lot of people don't want to listen
00:40:34.640 to Fauci and don't want to wear the masks forever and don't want to take the 17th booster shot.
00:40:40.520 And even now, I fly on airlines constantly.
00:40:43.740 I'm just, I've been, every few days I've been on a flight for the past two months, especially.
00:40:48.380 I was on one, I was on two flights yesterday, actually, to and from Los Angeles.
00:40:51.840 And I'm noticing they don't, they don't really enforce the mask thing anymore.
00:40:56.840 And I'm not sure if it's because the airlines don't want to do it or I'm, I think it's just
00:40:59.820 because people aren't going to do it.
00:41:01.320 And so the ruling class only has so much power.
00:41:05.400 If we all just said no, they would be helpless, right?
00:41:09.200 And so they do have to calibrate their rule to what we're willing to tolerate, right?
00:41:17.620 That is why Dr. Fauci initially said, I don't know if you can have Christmas and Thanksgiving.
00:41:21.320 And then there was a big pushback and he said, oh, nevermind, nevermind.
00:41:24.000 I never said that.
00:41:25.080 What do you know?
00:41:25.560 You can have it.
00:41:26.320 Just get 17 more boosted.
00:41:28.220 Get this, get, you know, and it's, it's a bit of a negotiation.
00:41:30.900 So because people are sick of this nonsense, the ruling class is pulling out all the stops,
00:41:35.980 the entertainment, the media, Saturday Night Live.
00:41:39.020 They just, they ran, I guess what's supposed to be a comedy sketch
00:41:43.380 about a flap between Big Bird and Ted Cruz, the Muppets and Sesame Street.
00:41:51.340 Uh, insisting that everyone take a bunch of vaccines.
00:41:54.020 Ted Cruz said, make your own medical decisions and don't listen to a puppet bird.
00:41:57.500 And, and, and Joe Rogan too was in this.
00:41:59.980 Just take a listen.
00:42:01.880 Tell me if you can identify the comedy.
00:42:03.920 Well, that's right.
00:42:11.880 I used to host Fear Factor and now doctors fear me.
00:42:16.240 Can you help me, Joe?
00:42:18.320 Oh, sure thing, Big Bird.
00:42:19.920 You see, I took Carlos Mencia down.
00:42:21.900 I could take COVID.
00:42:24.280 Here's some zinc.
00:42:26.100 And ayahuasca.
00:42:26.980 And some horse medicine.
00:42:29.420 Well, why would a bird take horse medicine?
00:42:32.700 I'm a human and I took horse medicine.
00:42:35.380 And I'm speaking of things that are horse-like.
00:42:38.980 Uh, today's two sponsors are the letters S and D.
00:42:42.560 As in, I can S my own D.
00:42:45.120 What?
00:42:49.720 What was the joke?
00:42:52.640 You are, there was some laugh.
00:42:54.200 I mean, I wonder if it was laugh track or if it was the actual studio audience or maybe
00:42:57.860 some combination.
00:42:58.580 But even with that, even with a studio audience and potentially a laugh track, a bunch of those
00:43:03.960 lines didn't even land.
00:43:05.740 They didn't, I don't even know what the joke was.
00:43:08.380 Was the joke that Joe Rogan took some kooky witch doctor medicine for COVID that wouldn't
00:43:14.420 work?
00:43:15.240 Joe Rogan recovered from the coronavirus in like five hours.
00:43:19.260 Is the joke is that he took horse medicine?
00:43:21.460 He didn't take horse medicine though.
00:43:22.820 Is the joke that, uh, Joe Rogan is some fringe lunatic, but Dr. Fauci or, you know, Dr. Fauci
00:43:31.900 is now, uh, uh, Viceroy and Vickers, you know, and through Big Bird and, and other representatives
00:43:38.060 of the ruling class, that they are somehow serious and respected and popular.
00:43:42.940 I don't think they are.
00:43:43.620 I think Joe Rogan is one of the most popular communicators and broadcasters in the world.
00:43:48.140 And Dr. Fauci is the butt of everyone's jokes.
00:43:50.480 Is, is the, is the joke that the people who are questioning the regime and questioning
00:43:58.640 Joe Biden, for instance, are fringe and weird and radical and Biden is really popular.
00:44:03.760 No, Biden's approval rating is about as low as it gets.
00:44:06.880 What is it?
00:44:07.520 37, 38%.
00:44:08.760 What's the joke?
00:44:11.620 The joke would be like what, what comedy used to do is speak truth to power, right?
00:44:17.880 What comedy used to do is juxtapose incongruous things and, and it would be funny and you
00:44:24.480 would laugh at that, which is ridiculous.
00:44:26.060 But in, in this case, what is ridiculous is not the fringe clown.
00:44:30.320 It's not the, it's not the Joe Rogan.
00:44:31.860 What's ridiculous is the ruling class.
00:44:34.180 And Saturday Night Live, far from being a critic of the ruling class, is part of it.
00:44:38.460 And it's a, it's an extension of it and it's part of the propaganda outlet.
00:44:42.820 And so it's just not funny.
00:44:45.800 It's just not funny.
00:44:47.020 And SNL has been hit or miss for an extremely long time.
00:44:50.760 Really hasn't been funny since Norm Macdonald left the show, but it's had its moments.
00:44:55.260 This is a real low point.
00:44:57.720 And they're not going to figure it out until they, they break away from the ruling class.
00:45:03.040 But unfortunately, it's, it's the kind of the ruling class that's propping up these old
00:45:06.620 desiccated establishment institutions like the establishment media and like even Saturday
00:45:11.700 Night Live.
00:45:13.980 Speaking of tone deafness, Donna Brazile, former head of the DNC, was just on George Stephanopoulos'
00:45:22.240 show, George Stephanopoulos, the former communications director for Bill Clinton.
00:45:25.340 And they were on ABC and they're both pretending to be journalists.
00:45:28.240 And Donna Brazile was asked about inflation and this is a really tough issue.
00:45:35.480 It's plaguing Biden's approval numbers and it's really hitting Americans of all classes,
00:45:40.540 of all races, everywhere.
00:45:42.800 And to his credit, Stephanopoulos says, what are people supposed to do about inflation?
00:45:47.020 Donna Brazile says, you know, I don't know, clip some coupons.
00:45:50.460 Inflation has been going up for the last three years.
00:45:53.380 I go to, I go to Safeway.
00:45:55.400 I go, look, look, you've got to be, look, you've got to be smart when you go out and
00:46:00.200 shop today.
00:46:01.100 Okay.
00:46:01.580 Whether you're looking for Jiffy Conbread, which used to be three for a dollar and it
00:46:05.960 went up to 87 cents, or if you're buying gas and if you buy it in the inner city is
00:46:10.720 10 cents more than if you go out just to further out.
00:46:15.280 Well, is that the Democratic slogan?
00:46:17.740 No.
00:46:17.940 We're going to raise your prices, but be smart about it.
00:46:19.940 It could be a little bit less.
00:46:20.840 You mentioned Mary Pat.
00:46:21.800 You mentioned Mary Pat.
00:46:23.340 I'm just telling you my experience of shopping.
00:46:25.580 You've got to be a smart shopper.
00:46:27.040 You've got to be a smart shopper.
00:46:28.320 Look, if you go into the inner city, gas is going to be 10 cents more.
00:46:32.420 Okay.
00:46:32.740 And if you go to California, it's going to be $7 a gallon.
00:46:35.600 So, you know, just clip some coupons.
00:46:37.520 Just be a smart shopper.
00:46:39.020 This is tone deaf.
00:46:41.160 That's the real problem for the SNL writers is that they're tone deaf.
00:46:46.060 And if you want to write comedy, if you want to write music, if you want to create any
00:46:51.720 cultural product, you need to be able to hear the tone of the people.
00:46:56.480 You need to be able to hear the tenor of the conversation, what's actually going on.
00:47:00.100 But these guys are so stuck in their echo chambers that down in Brazil says, oh, yeah,
00:47:04.240 okay, pancake mix is 20 cents more per box.
00:47:06.520 Whatever.
00:47:07.420 What, you poor people can't afford that?
00:47:08.820 Just be a smart shopper.
00:47:10.760 Come on.
00:47:11.140 Just have, when you have Whole Foods deliver to your Georgetown penthouse, just, just order,
00:47:17.400 you know, order in bulk so that you can save a little bit on, on the quantity.
00:47:21.360 Just be a smart shopper.
00:47:23.040 And Chris Christie quite rightly says, if Democrats want to run on that, please do.
00:47:28.020 That is not going to resound for the American people.
00:47:31.980 Really weak arguments that they're making from the Rittenhouse case all the way to electoral
00:47:37.440 politics.
00:47:38.000 What they're hoping for is that they have such a structural advantage that it won't
00:47:42.220 matter if their arguments don't make any sense at all.
00:47:45.040 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:48:38.180 Today on The Matt Walsh Show, the prosecutors in the Kyle Rittenhouse case made their closing
00:48:42.600 arguments in their case against self-defense in the Second Amendment.
00:48:45.800 We'll take a look at the closing arguments, and we'll trace this case all the way back
00:48:49.280 to where it really started, because we shouldn't forget about where this all really began.
00:48:53.300 Also, Representative Cori Bush claims that armed white supremacists shot at her.
00:48:57.980 There is absolutely no evidence of this, of course.
00:49:00.500 And Beto O'Rourke runs for governor.
00:49:02.100 Plus, a city in Michigan elects an all-Muslim city council.
00:49:05.000 The media says this is a great example of racial diversity.
00:49:08.440 There are a number of problems with that claim we'll discuss.
00:49:11.160 And a feminist author says that many women deeply regret having children and getting married.
00:49:16.040 Is that true or just wishful thinking on her part?
00:49:18.660 We'll talk about all that and much more today on The Matt Walsh Show.
