The Michael Knowles Show - Ep. 919 - Numbers Don't Lie, But Libs Do

00:00:00.000 More than 800,000 Americans have died from COVID-19, according to the establishment media.

00:00:07.940 But we know that some people who were counted in that number did not actually die from COVID-19.

00:00:15.820 They merely died with COVID-19. We have heard reports of people dying in car accidents or even

00:00:22.560 gunshot wounds being counted as having died from COVID because they tested positive in the hospital

00:00:28.080 before they succumb to their wounds. We've heard reports of 90-something-year-olds with stage 4

00:00:33.260 cancers counted as COVID deaths because they tested positive for the virus at the time of

00:00:38.860 their deaths. So to understand the true death toll of COVID, it seems reasonable to ask how many of

00:00:47.460 those 800,000 actually died from COVID. But remember, when some of us raised this question

00:00:55.940 months and months and even over a year ago, we were called crazy, radical, conspiracy theorists,

00:01:01.480 anti-science. Okay. As of last week, Rochelle Walensky, the director of the CDC,

00:01:07.400 could not answer that question. How many of the 836,000 deaths in the U.S. linked to COVID are

00:01:15.120 from COVID or how many are with COVID, but they had other comorbidities? Do you have that breakdown?

00:01:21.100 Yes, of course. With Omicron, we're following that very carefully. Our death registry, of course,

00:01:27.280 takes a few weeks to collect. And of course, Omicron has just been with us for a few weeks,

00:01:34.700 but those data will be forthcoming. Nothing has been forthcoming when it comes to the CDC

00:01:39.260 and coronavirus. Do you see how she's spinning her wheels? Humming, humming, humming. Well,

00:01:42.880 I don't know. And we've got the Omicrons coming in. And so the data, they lag. But yeah,

00:01:47.440 that's not what we're asking you, lady. You've given us the 800,000 number. How many of those

00:01:51.800 are actually from the coronavirus and not just 97-year-olds with stage four pancreatic cancer

00:01:57.500 who happened to have COVID when they died? You should know this answer. You don't need to wait

00:02:02.560 several weeks for the Omicron data to come in. But we all know, everyone, lib and conservative alike,

00:02:10.020 we all agree that the official COVID numbers have been at least somewhat artificially inflated by

00:02:17.480 this problem. So after buying time for a day or two, not for 10 days, not for two weeks,

00:02:23.340 Rochelle Walensky has finally come up with an answer to just how inflated those numbers are.

00:02:28.120 And just when you think the public health establishment can't get any more deceitful,

00:02:32.680 wait until you hear this. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:02:40.020 From yesterday, my absolute favorite comment comes to us from TakeTheClownPill, who says,

00:02:49.540 we're not conspiracy theorists, we're spoiler alerts. That's true. I should have said this at

00:02:54.880 the top of the show. If you don't want to hear the future, don't tune into this show. Close your

00:03:00.440 ears right now. If you don't want to hear what will be on the mainstream news networks in six to 12

00:03:06.980 months, you really should tune out this show. If you want to just bide your time, let that

00:03:11.700 excitement build, and then you're going to find out in six to 12 months what's actually going on right

00:03:15.680 now, then you should turn the show off right now. What could you do if you did that? Well,

00:03:20.980 I guess you could work on your family. You could work on your spirituality. You could work on your

00:03:25.400 body, which is why I would recommend you check out Echelon. I hate working out. I'm not telling

00:03:31.240 any tales at a school. I think you know that to be true. I have not been to the gym since the

00:03:37.720 Obama administration. There is one thing that has gotten me not only to work out, but to enjoy

00:03:44.100 working out. That would be Echelon. Echelon brings the gym home. When you're trying to reach

00:03:51.020 your fitness goals, it can really help to have world-class instructors, choreographing classes,

00:03:55.860 encouraging you, music from your favorite artists, a community of hundreds of thousands of people

00:04:00.600 who can give you that extra push. Echelon gives you all that. It's the affordable way

00:04:04.760 to get the workout equipment, the workout community, and an instructor's motivation

00:04:08.380 right in the comfort of your own home. Favorite part for me, I don't need to drive 20 minutes to

00:04:14.280 the gym. Get out. Get changed. Get on the gear. Do the thing for whatever. Shower. Come back. 20 minutes.

00:04:19.880 You lose so much time. Echelon, you do it right in your own home. For a limited time, our listeners will

00:04:26.020 get up to $650 off MSRP. To get this exclusive podcast discount, text Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S to

00:04:32.440 8181-81. That is Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S to 8181-81 to get up to $650 off MSRP. K-N-O-W-L-E-S to

00:04:42.020 818181. Message and data rates may apply. See terms for details. So Director Walensky, 800,000 people

00:04:49.840 were told died of COVID-19. How many of those are from COVID-19? How many of those just happened

00:04:56.000 to have had COVID-19 when they died? The overwhelming number of deaths over 75%

00:05:03.420 occurred in people who had at least four comorbidities. So really these are people who

00:05:08.640 were unwell to begin with. At least four comorbidities. We also know that the median age of a COVID death

00:05:20.520 is north of 80. It's higher than the life expectancy in this country. So you're telling me

00:05:32.140 that three quarters of people who have died from a virus that tends to kill people who are already

00:05:38.660 above the average life expectancy, three quarters of those people had at least four other major

00:05:45.380 health problems. They were not well to begin with, as Rochelle Walensky says.

00:05:52.840 So then that 800,000 number, I'm not saying it's exactly 200,000. I'm not saying it's exactly one

00:05:58.040 quarter of 800,000. Obviously there's a lot of ambiguity here and they're not being particularly

00:06:02.120 forthcoming with the details. But it's a lot closer to that 200,000 number than we all thought

00:06:08.000 when we're talking about people who died explicitly and directly from coronavirus. That's a pretty big

00:06:15.380 difference. Factor of four. Wow. If you had said this six months ago, a year ago, as some of us did,

00:06:25.940 you would have been called a crazy anti-science conspiracy theorist.

00:06:31.820 Now we're being told, yeah, maybe it's closer to about 200,000. 200,000 in two years, meaning 100,000

00:06:38.740 a year, meaning the same number of people who died of drug overdoses last year.

00:06:44.360 But we didn't, we didn't shut the whole world down because of drug overdoses. Frankly, maybe we

00:06:48.760 should have. We at least should have shut the border down. Didn't do that. Joe Biden opened the border

00:06:52.240 right back up. That open border with fentanyl pouring all across is killing just as many people

00:06:59.760 as coronavirus, at least by the most conservative numbers, according to Rochelle Walensky, the director

00:07:04.920 of the CDC. But drugs, not a problem. Deaths of despair, suicide, not a problem. Heart disease,

00:07:13.060 not a big problem. Don't worry about it. We're not going to shut down all the fast food companies.

00:07:17.080 We're actually going to lock people in their homes so they don't exercise. I'm sure that'll help them

00:07:22.440 lose weight, right? I'm sure that'll help them get heart healthy. No, it's just this one virus.

00:07:28.300 That is the reason that we're going to shut down the entire world, completely reorder society,

00:07:32.140 and make Dr. Fauci king of the universe. Does that make a lot of sense? Well, okay,

00:07:36.920 we're only going to do that until everyone's vaccinated. Everyone's got to get vaccinated because

00:07:41.420 the vaccines we were originally told by Joe Biden, by Rochelle Walensky, director of the CDC,

00:07:46.480 that the vaccines would stop infection and stop transmission. And then they changed their tune on

00:07:51.800 that because it wasn't true. But okay, even though they're not going to do that, everyone's got to

00:07:55.660 get vaccinated. We have a vaccine mandate. We actually have multiple vaccine mandates coming

00:08:00.060 out of the federal government. And then we can get back to normal, right? You get your two shots

00:08:03.800 of Moderna or of Pfizer or your one shot of Johnson & Johnson, although there have been some

00:08:10.500 questions about that vaccine. There was that pause because of blood clotting. Now there was a question

00:08:14.500 about the boosters for Johnson & Johnson. Okay, let's put that aside for now. You get your,

00:08:18.120 very simple. You get your two shots of Pfizer, you're fully vaccinated. We can get back to normal,

00:08:23.320 right? Except that the CEO of Pfizer is saying that two shots of that vaccine, what was called

00:08:29.500 fully vaccinated, actually just doesn't give you very much protection at all.

00:08:33.500 We know that the three, the two doses of the vaccine offer very limited protection,

00:08:38.440 if any, the three doses with a booster. They offer reasonable protection against hospitalization and

00:08:45.400 deaths. Against deaths, I think very good. And less protection against the infection.

00:08:54.660 Now, we are working on a new version of our vaccine, the 1.1, let me put it that way,

00:09:01.040 that will cover Omicron as well. And of course, we are waiting to have the final results.

00:09:10.140 The vaccine will be ready in March.

00:09:13.900 So the vaccine for the virus that everybody is getting right now, that I had a couple of weeks

00:09:20.660 ago, that dozens of my friends and family members have had over the past few weeks, and that I'm sure

00:09:25.060 many dozens of your friends and family members have had as well, they're going to get a vaccine for

00:09:29.280 that in March once everybody's had it, which is actually pretty brilliant, by the way, because

00:09:34.120 if the vaccine comes out after everyone already has antibodies from getting the virus, then there's

00:09:39.860 no way to prove it doesn't work, right? Pretty smart business decision. But furthermore, before you

00:09:46.500 censor me for saying that the vaccine doesn't work, I'm just playing a clip of the CEO of Pfizer, of the

00:09:52.060 guy who runs the company that sells the vaccine. And he says that what was called the full regime of 0.61

00:10:01.060 Pfizer shots offers a very limited protection, if any at all, if any at all, which means there

00:10:12.420 actually is a silver lining to the storm cloud here. It means that the government's argument for the

00:10:18.340 vaccine mandate just completely fell apart for two reasons. One, the argument for the vaccine mandate

00:10:28.500 is not even so much to protect you as to protect other people from you. That's why the government's

00:10:36.780 getting involved. The government gives individuals a lot of leeway to screw up their own lives,

00:10:41.960 but where they draw the line is, particularly when it comes to public health, is when your decisions

00:10:48.000 are negatively affecting other people. So they say, you don't have a right to go infect other people

00:10:53.200 during a pandemic. You have their extraordinary police powers during a pandemic, and the government

00:10:59.560 can force you to get the vaccine to protect other people. But we already know, per Dr. Fauci,

00:11:08.120 per Rochelle Walensky, that the vaccine does not prevent infection and transmission. They've already

00:11:13.900 admitted that. So then the purpose of the mandate would have to transform to be simply about protecting

00:11:20.600 you. That's an extraordinary argument for the government to make. We haven't seen anything like that

00:11:25.940 before in American history. Mandatory vaccines, not to protect the public, but to protect you from your

00:11:32.320 own dumb decisions. But we just heard from the CEO of Pfizer that it won't even do that. 0.97

00:11:38.460 The mandate, as it stands right now, says you got to get two shots of Pfizer, two shots of Moderna,

00:11:42.460 or one shot of Johnson & Johnson. But the guys behind that now are saying, no, that won't work.

00:11:47.340 That won't do anything. That will offer very limited protection, if any at all. So what's going to

00:11:52.840 happen? Is OSHA going to change the rule now and say, actually, you got to get three shots?

00:11:55.800 Actually, you got to get two Johnson & Johnson. That's not, that's, that's not what the rule is

00:12:02.960 right now. So what is the government's argument for the mandate? It just feels like our country

00:12:13.260 is hurtling away from what we have been for a long time. Part of this is because we ship all of

00:12:19.380 our jobs overseas and we buy a lot of our products from overseas. Well, if you want to support American

00:12:25.020 ranchers right here at home, I'd strongly recommend you check out Good Ranchers. I really don't like

00:12:30.240 being lied to. I feel that we in this country have been lied to much more than usual over the past

00:12:37.000 couple of years. And, and it drives me crazy. It's very disrespectful to do that. Did you know that

00:12:43.780 your grocery stores, your, your meat suppliers are lying to you too? Turns out that 85% of the grass-fed

00:12:49.920 beef in the United States is imported from overseas. Even when you see that sticker, it says

00:12:54.680 product of USA, that all that means is that the meat was minimally processed here. Usually it's

00:13:00.400 coming from, from ranchers overseas. Do not buy cheap imported beef that lacks true flavor. Go to

00:14:00.400 virus and vaccine policy. I'm not sure the White House ever could really explain it all that well,

00:14:05.020 but they would have certain lines that would, within their own narrow context,

00:14:09.280 be at least semi-coherent. You need to get vaccinated to protect the people from you.

00:14:14.560 You need, the vaccines are extremely effective, whatever. You know, at the, at the time,

00:14:17.660 these things seemed sort of plausible. Now they don't. Peter Doocy, one of the few reporters who

00:14:24.220 asks difficult questions of the White House, Peter Doocy came out and asked Press Secretary Jen Psaki,

00:14:30.040 hey Jen, since I'm vaxxed and I got COVID and you're vaxxed and you got COVID, how come Joe Biden is

00:14:37.660 still calling this a pandemic of the unvaccinated? I understand that the science says that vaccines

00:14:44.880 prevent death, but I'm triple vaxxed, still got COVID. You're triple vaxxed, still got COVID.

00:14:52.880 Why is the president still referring to this as a pandemic of the unvaccinated?

00:14:57.940 Well, I think Peter, there's a significant difference between, and you just, you just experienced this and

00:15:03.500 not to expose your public health experience, but I can speak to mine as well. I had been triple vaxxed.

00:15:10.220 I had minor symptoms. There is a huge difference between that and being unvaccinated. You are 17

00:15:15.800 times more likely to go to the hospital if you're not vaccinated, 20 times more likely to die.

00:15:21.060 And those are significant, serious statistics. So yes, the impact for people who are unvaccinated is

00:15:27.320 far more dire than those who are vaccinated. Will the president update his language at some time

00:15:32.140 to be more reflective of the fact that people who are triple vaccinated are catching and spreading

00:15:38.000 COVID? I think the president has said, as have we a number of times, that there will be breakthrough

00:15:43.560 cases. There will be people who get COVID here at different media organizations, at companies

00:15:49.040 around the world, around the country, who have been vaccinated.

00:15:54.740 How many millions of breakthrough cases do we need to have before we can stop calling them

00:16:00.840 breakthrough cases? How many do you think? I'm thinking right now, just off the top of my head,

00:16:07.660 of all my friends and family members who have gotten COVID. Some are vaccinated, some are vaccinated

00:16:12.360 and boosted. Some are not vaccinated at all and won't go near the Fauci-ouchie.

00:16:16.700 I guess the majority of my friends and family who have gotten it have been vaccinated.

00:16:25.040 And some people had serious symptoms or relatively, you know, by serious, I mean they were in bed for

00:16:30.240 a couple of days. And some people really had very mild symptoms. And there was really no rhyme or

00:16:35.560 reason as to who had which sort of severity of symptoms between the unvaccinated, the vaccinated,

00:16:42.360 and the boosted. But furthermore, speaking of symptoms, do you think Jen Psaki threw her back 0.85

00:16:48.020 out moving the goalposts like that? I hope she didn't. I hope she's feeling better, but that must

00:16:52.440 have been very strenuous because Peter Doocy asked a very simple question. Since people who have been

00:16:59.700 vaccinated and boosted are contracting and spreading coronavirus, when is the president going to stop

00:17:05.420 calling it a pandemic of the unvaccinated? And what did she say? She said, well, it's much worse for

00:17:12.640 people who are unvaccinated. But that's not the question. We're talking about the pandemic. We're

00:17:19.320 talking about people who are contracting and spreading a virus and the virus is mutating and

00:17:24.080 it's contagious and it's spreading throughout the country. And that's happening with vaccinated people 1.00

00:17:29.840 as well as unvaccinated people. So why is Joe Biden lying and saying that it's only happening

00:17:35.160 with unvaccinated people? She says, well, sure, there are some breakthrough cases. No, that's not

00:17:39.520 what's going on. They're just, everyone's getting it, lady. Everyone's getting this thing. Well, it's

00:17:45.020 because Omicron is, is different. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. It's a variant. Viruses have variants as they

00:17:50.280 always do and always will and always were going to. So why are you still pretending that this is a virus

00:17:57.900 that's only being contracted and spread by people who are unvaccinated? Well, it's a lot worse if

00:18:03.520 you're okay. So they have nothing. So they have absolutely nothing and they're deflecting. We'll get

00:18:08.880 to that point later, by the way, because I find it a little dubious. But they're not just doing it on

00:18:14.260 coronavirus. I just filled up my gas tank about an hour ago or less. It was expensive, more expensive

00:18:24.320 than it has been in a while. I went to the grocery store a few days ago. It was empty,

00:18:32.060 emptier than it was in recent years. Prices are going up and up and up. The economy is not in great

00:18:40.940 shape. And yet, if you look at the White House Twitter feed, you will find out Joe Biden is the

00:18:47.140 greatest jobs president ever. This guy, he's an economic genius, must be. Quote, under President

00:18:56.340 Biden, the economy has created more jobs per month than under any other president ever, ever.

00:19:05.980 And you can see on the graph, you've got, you've got Reagan. There's a little, it goes up a little.

00:19:10.400 Bush one goes up a little bit. Clinton goes up more. George W. Bush, much lower. Obama, a little

00:19:16.560 high. Trump, he's in the negative. He lost jobs. He's bad. I hate him. He's so, he's so bad. And

00:19:21.320 then Biden, wow, big yellow color all the way up through the roof. A reminder that there are lies,

00:19:31.960 damned lies, and statistics. The reason this comparison doesn't work is, first of all, 0.98

00:19:40.640 because you're comparing one year under Joe Biden to four and eight year terms from Trump to Reagan.

00:19:50.800 Furthermore, when you're comparing Biden to Trump, you are comparing a man whose presidency ended

00:19:59.940 during a global pandemic where the government forced everyone to stop going to work or forced

00:20:05.760 a lot of people to stop going to work. So voluntarily put people out of a job to, to a new

00:20:12.720 administration where the public health bureaucracy is now encouraging the government to allow people

00:20:18.040 to go back to work. So yes, you're going to, of course, you're going to see a radical shift.

00:20:23.440 It's, it's as though you're, you're comparing someone's speed while driving. And for part of the

00:20:28.660 comparison, you do it as they're screeching to a halt at a red light. And then for the next comparison,

00:20:33.700 you're looking at what happens right after the light turns green and the guy floors it.

00:20:38.500 Sure. I guess that'll tell you something about those specific moments, but it's not going to tell

00:20:42.620 you about how fast the guy's actually going under normal conditions over a longer haul. Lies,

00:20:49.560 damned lies, and statistics. Speaking of people getting new jobs, Clay Aiken. Clay Aiken, 1.00

00:20:58.180 America's darling for a brief period in the early 2000s, the runner up on American Idol, Clay Aiken,

00:21:06.060 my accidental nemesis from Politicon a few years ago. Clay Aiken is running for Congress in North

00:21:12.920 Carolina. He is running in North Carolina's sixth congressional district. He's running after he

00:21:19.260 ran and lost in a different district in North Carolina's second congressional district. But I think

00:21:24.480 he, he believes that he's got a better shot of winning now in NC6 because of redistricting because

00:21:30.180 it's a very Democrat district now. Here is Clay Aiken's campaign announcement.

00:21:34.960 For decades, North Carolina was actually the progressive beacon in the South. We had the best

00:21:40.380 roads and the best schools because back then the loudest voices in our government were progressives who

00:21:45.960 actually made sure our state was always moving forward. But then things changed and the progressives

00:21:52.120 lost power. And we started getting backwards-ass policies like the voter suppression bills and

00:21:57.380 the bigoted bathroom bill. Because today, it seems like the loudest voices in North Carolina politics

00:22:03.260 are white nationalists like this guy. My friends, I encourage you, continue to make your voice heard

00:22:09.620 because do we love Donald Trump? And hateful homophobes like this one. What is the purpose 0.98

00:22:16.500 of homosexuality? What does it create? These folks are taking up all the oxygen in the room, 1.00

00:22:23.920 and I'm going to tell you, I am sick of it. And I'll tell you something else, as Democrats,

00:22:29.140 we have got to get better about speaking up and using our voices because those folks ain't quieting

00:22:34.760 anytime soon. That's why I'm running for Congress. And just think how excited these guys are going to be

00:22:40.400 when we elect the South's first gay congressman. So there are some Republicans right now who are

00:22:46.340 friends with Clay Aiken. Not naming any names, but there are some prominent Republicans who are

00:22:51.040 friends with Clay Aiken who are excited that he's running. He's such a nice guy. Oh, he sang that song.

00:22:55.520 I don't remember any of his songs, but he sang them nicely. And so isn't that... Clay Aiken's a jerk. 1.00

00:23:00.440 He's a freaking jerk. You got to beware the nice guy in politics. Okay. You got to be, 1.00

00:23:05.940 oh, I'm just... Come on. I'm just Clay Aiken. I'm just... Come on, y'all. Let's come on. Let's come

00:23:09.780 together. So I was at Politicon a few years ago, and I was debating this guy, Chris Hahn,

00:23:15.820 who I had debated on Fox News once. And so we were supposed to have this debate, me and Chris Hahn,

00:23:21.060 except we didn't end up having a debate because Clay Aiken was moderating, and Clay Aiken took it upon

00:23:26.260 himself to be the actual opponent in the debate. So Chris Hahn was just kind of pushed to the side,

00:23:32.000 and it was just me and Clay debating each other the whole time.

00:23:35.940 Are people who are marching and shouting Jews will not replace us, are they good people? 0.99

00:23:39.860 It's a yes or no question. Yes or no. No, it's a yes or no question.

00:23:42.520 Clay, what a ridiculous question. 1.00

00:23:43.860 Are people who are marching shouting Jews will not replace us, are they... 0.99

00:23:47.440 Can you say yes or no to this? Are you capable of that?

00:23:49.560 I don't need to answer a question because I'm not on the stage.

00:23:51.760 Clay, do Nazis or bad?

00:23:52.020 No, I did not ask you if Nazis were bad.

00:23:53.740 And I understand those are big words.

00:23:55.420 Are people who don't like Jews, really? 0.93

00:23:55.760 People who are Nazis are bad people, Clay. 0.93

00:23:58.280 That's not what I asked you.

00:23:59.360 I've answered this five times.

00:24:00.760 No, you haven't.

00:24:01.380 You're rewording it.

00:24:02.740 You're rewording it.

00:24:03.140 I feel so bad for you. I feel so badly for you.

00:24:06.380 Why do you feel badly for me?

00:24:07.220 It's very easy to play a victim.

00:24:09.520 You can boo all you want to. 0.99

00:24:11.320 I don't give a half a f***ing s***. 0.99

00:24:13.460 I asked a yes or no question. 0.99

00:24:15.320 Does President Trump lie? Yes or no?

00:24:17.780 Before you start, since clearly the audience thinks I'm biased,

00:24:22.140 we're going to let them ask some questions too. 0.93

00:24:25.640 Well, I may be a hack, but I've got the f***ing microphone. 0.96

00:24:27.820 I just want to say, Clay, you're probably the worst moderator I've ever seen in my life. 0.97

00:24:33.460 Asking very dishonest yes or no questions, but anyway.

00:24:36.400 That's perfectly fine.

00:24:37.440 Clay Aiken, man.

00:24:38.680 He's like a national treasure.

00:24:39.420 Trust me, I get booed all the time.

00:24:41.040 I'm not worried about it.

00:24:41.780 Come on, get booed right. 1.00

00:24:42.200 I'm not worried about it.

00:24:42.920 Don't bow up.

00:24:43.400 Don't boo.

00:24:44.080 Stop it, Chris.

00:24:44.980 I'm a big boy.

00:24:45.600 I can handle it myself. 0.98

00:24:47.500 This guy's awful. 1.00

00:24:48.680 He's awful. 0.99

00:24:49.200 And he's got this very disingenuous, dated style of politics. 0.90

00:24:53.480 Well, you know, y'all, listen, I moved back here.

00:24:56.580 I got my voice, but it, I don't know.

00:24:59.140 To me, it reads like something out of the late 90s or early 2000s, certainly pre-Trump,

00:25:04.580 pre-social media authentic politics.

00:25:06.960 I'm not sure it's going to work.

00:25:08.640 Just a reminder though, I mean, the guy is calling a man a white supremacist or white

00:25:12.940 nationalist based on absolutely nothing. 0.59

00:25:15.200 He says that you're a hateful bigot if you think dudes shouldn't go into the women's bathroom.

00:25:18.760 And the only flag he flies in his commercial is not the American flag, but the radical leftist

00:25:23.180 LGBT LMNOP flag. 0.99

00:25:24.980 This guy is awful. 1.00

00:25:26.900 He's a jerk. 1.00

00:25:27.960 Beware. 1.00

00:25:28.900 Beware.

00:25:30.380 The nice guys in politics.

00:25:34.180 If you have not heard of Jonathan Isaac yet, where have you been?

00:25:38.860 Have you been living under a rock?

00:25:40.320 The NBA star stood strong with his values while everyone else kneeled and faced heavy criticism

00:25:46.600 from the media for his views on social issues and vaccines over the past few years, which

00:25:51.420 is why I'm extremely excited to announce that he's decided to write a book with The Daily

00:25:55.980 Wire called Why I Stand.

00:25:58.380 Jonathan's book will be about the rise of his basketball career, his journey into faith

00:26:03.400 and his strength to stand alone in the face of immense pressure.

00:26:05.800 Check out this teaser.

00:26:08.320 The Orlando Magic's 23-year-old starting forward is deeply religious and proudly unvaccinated.

00:26:13.460 On Friday, Isaac got attention for choosing not to kneel in unison with his teammates or

00:26:18.220 to wear a Black Lives Matter shirt.

00:26:20.380 My name is Jonathan Isaac.

00:26:22.220 I play for the Orlando Magic.

00:26:24.240 And I'm writing a book with The Daily Wire.

00:26:29.560 Courage does not mean the absence of fear.

00:26:32.500 And in today's day, there are so many things that you can be afraid of facing because of

00:26:37.160 believing what you believe or deciding to stand for what you believe in.

00:26:40.700 And I believe this book gives you a blueprint of my story of how Christ has made the difference

00:26:45.400 in my life, from a young kid who struggled with fear, anxiety, self-insecurity, to a man

00:26:51.020 willing to stand for what he believes in.

00:27:03.600 I really like Jonathan Isaac.

00:27:05.340 I was chatting with him a few weeks ago, I guess.

00:27:08.420 He came by the office.

00:27:09.380 And it was the first time I've ever spoken to someone who is, I think, 17 feet tall.

00:27:16.400 And so I strained my neck to talk to him.

00:27:18.460 But I kept straining it because I so enjoyed it.

00:27:20.360 Really, really a sincere guy.

00:27:23.060 And he's obviously got his head screwed on straight.

00:27:25.440 And his heart is totally in the right place.

00:27:27.540 And he's got the guts to actually stand up for what he believes in.

00:27:30.140 Jonathan's book will be one of the first under The Daily Wire's new publishing arm,

00:27:33.980 DW Books.

00:27:34.560 We couldn't be happier to have him on board.

00:27:36.360 The book is now available for pre-order at Amazon.

00:27:38.680 So reserve your copy today.

00:27:39.980 We'll be right back with a lot more.

00:27:53.440 The left is so, they're nice.

00:27:55.800 Like Clay Aiken, they're really nice, you know, smiley, smiley.

00:27:58.840 They're really, they're responsible.

00:28:00.720 Okay, they're the adults in the room. 0.95

00:28:02.600 They are not insurrectionist, terrorist bigots like you.

00:28:05.740 Okay, they're really, they're mature, capable of self-government.

00:28:11.180 The Biden-Harris administration, they're, thank goodness we've got the adults back in

00:28:15.820 the room.

00:28:16.540 Kamala Harris's new communications director, though, I don't know.

00:28:22.160 He doesn't seem to be exhibiting that kind of maturity and responsibility.

00:28:25.760 Jamal Simmons, he tweeted out, this was some years ago, but he tweeted out, quote,

00:28:29.400 I worked for Gore 2000 and believe Bush's first term to have been illegitimate.

00:28:37.860 And he was making the point that you should still stand in the room for whoever's in the

00:28:40.620 Oval Office, even, even if you think it was a stolen election.

00:28:43.740 But this guy believes, Kamala Harris's senior staffer, communications director, believes that

00:28:49.540 the 2000 election was stolen.

00:28:51.180 That Bush wasn't the legitimate president.

00:28:55.600 Can somebody please arrest this insurrectionist?

00:28:59.040 This threat to our precious sacred democracy, who is now, he's going to be working in our

00:29:05.120 hallowed sacred temple of democracy, undermining it from the inside.

00:29:09.540 Just like the horn hat man who nearly brought our empire to its knees.

00:29:15.300 Jamal Simmons, the insurrectionist.

00:29:18.480 No, it's not just Jamal Simmons.

00:29:21.700 It's Terry McAuliffe.

00:29:22.720 He ran for governor of Virginia again.

00:29:24.880 He already was governor of Virginia.

00:29:26.140 He ran again and he just lost to Glenn Young in this past cycle.

00:29:28.840 He said during this campaign cycle that he didn't think the 2000 election was rightly

00:29:34.600 decided and he thought that Bush was an illegitimate president.

00:29:37.960 It's true that there are a number of Republicans who think that the 2020 election was stolen.

00:29:41.880 I don't know, maybe because they changed all the election rules in the weeks before the

00:29:44.720 election, but, and because they violated the state constitution in Pennsylvania and there

00:29:48.460 were other irregularities.

00:29:49.540 But the crazier statistic is that a higher proportion of Democrats believe the 2016 election was stolen.

00:29:57.640 So as we are now, what day is it?

00:30:00.320 It's the January 11th.

00:30:02.100 We're five days after that most sacred day of the liberal liturgical year.

00:30:05.840 January, January 6th.

00:30:08.100 The day our country nearly came to its knees.

00:30:11.520 Spare me the sanctimony, please.

00:30:13.140 Don't ever, don't ever buy into it.

00:30:15.860 Don't ever give them quarter.

00:30:17.720 And if you are inclined to be a squish and say, well, you know, it was really, it was so 1.00

00:30:22.380 close.

00:30:22.960 The insurrectionists, the terrorists, just don't, just move on.

00:30:27.860 Just recognize when the left says that the horn hat guy was nearly toppled, nearly toppled

00:30:35.500 the entire country or was an insurrectionist or a terrorist or whatever.

00:30:38.460 They don't mean it.

00:30:40.720 They're being disingenuous.

00:30:42.140 They're doing the same stuff themselves.

00:30:44.940 We can just move on.

00:30:46.960 According to the left, we're all Nazis.

00:30:49.080 You know that. 1.00

00:30:49.620 We're all fascist, white supremacist Nazis. 0.99

00:30:56.480 And this actually trended yesterday on Twitter because according to the mainstream media, an Indiana 0.98

00:31:03.700 state senator, a Republican in Indiana demanded that we be neutral on the question of Nazism.

00:31:11.440 This happened because during a hearing, some Indiana school teacher whined to a state senator

00:31:16.880 about a curriculum reform bill.

00:31:19.200 And he insisted that we take on that, that imminent urgent scourge in America of Nazism. 0.90

00:31:27.440 We're not neutral on Nazism. 0.88

00:31:30.840 We take a stand in the classroom against it.

00:31:33.240 And it matters that we do.

00:31:35.640 I'm not discrediting as a person, Marxism, Nazism, fascism.

00:31:41.940 I'm not discrediting any of those isms out there.

00:31:44.660 And I have no problem with the education system providing instruction on the existence of those

00:31:51.180 isms.

00:31:52.060 I believe that we've gone too far when we take a position on those isms as it relates to 0.99

00:31:59.040 we need to be impartial.

00:32:01.240 Again, I'm going to use this term.

00:32:02.560 We need to be the purveyors of reason.

00:32:05.160 We just provide the facts.

00:32:07.020 The kids formulate their own viewpoints.

00:32:08.940 Okay, I don't agree with his educational theory, but he's obviously not defending Nazism as the 0.56

00:32:17.380 libs were accusing him of doing.

00:32:18.540 That's so disingenuous to say that he is.

00:32:23.260 And you have the school teacher.

00:32:24.720 It's very important that we tell our students that Nazis are bad. 0.92

00:32:28.580 You love the Clay Aiken thing.

00:32:29.480 Do you think Nazis are bad?

00:32:30.420 Yeah, sure.

00:32:31.920 We'll say it again.

00:32:32.840 Why?

00:32:33.560 Is there, is that a really controversial issue in America?

00:32:36.340 No, you just want to besmirch us all and smear us all as Nazis based on nothing.

00:32:42.560 But yeah, sure. 0.98

00:32:43.540 Nazis are bad. 0.99

00:32:44.280 Okay. 0.96

00:32:45.060 The school teacher doesn't say that it's important that we teach students that communists are bad.

00:32:50.780 Why not? 0.99

00:32:51.480 Communists are really, really bad. 0.99

00:32:53.200 Really, really bad. 1.00

00:32:55.080 Nazis bad. 0.98

00:32:55.980 Sure. 0.99

00:32:56.500 Communists really, really bad too.

00:32:58.520 They're really, really, they're, they're certainly on the same level, but we're not allowed

00:33:04.140 to say that.

00:33:04.460 We have to say not the communists are good.

00:33:06.660 Nazis bad, communists good. 0.90

00:33:08.280 Multiple people can be bad.

00:33:10.000 Multiple ideas can be really bad. 0.98

00:33:11.520 And communism is an evil, evil ideology.

00:33:14.360 So sure, I agree with the school teacher. 0.98

00:33:15.740 Teach that Nazism is bad and teach that communism is evil too.

00:33:21.700 Oh, but he doesn't want to do that because that's the, that's what's really at issue here

00:33:25.640 is that these curricula are going really soft on communism and in some cases actually

00:33:30.500 encouraging certain forms of Marxism.

00:33:33.020 And what the state senator who got in trouble did is he came out there and he said, look,

00:33:37.420 we just need to be neutral.

00:33:38.640 We just need to teach students how to think, not what to think.

00:33:41.340 We, we can't voice our own political opinions.

00:33:43.380 And he took it to this radical extreme where he said we have to be neutral on Nazism.

00:33:48.120 But I'm sure the teacher would agree that we should be neutral on Marxism.

00:33:52.240 I bet the teacher wouldn't disagree with that at all.

00:33:54.900 It's just that Nazism, that, that, that seems like a bridge too far. 0.91

00:33:58.540 And, and of course it's a bridge too far.

00:34:00.560 Because the very idea that the state senator is expressing is a liberal idea.

00:34:07.340 It's the idea that when we educate people, we don't need to express moral views.

00:34:13.540 That's a, that's a liberal idea that they smuggled into American education, 0.79

00:34:17.280 mostly in the middle of the 20th century.

00:34:19.300 And it's a bogus idea.

00:34:20.640 It's just not possible.

00:34:21.680 You can't teach students how to think without teaching them what to think.

00:34:25.120 You can't teach them about history without a moral framework to think about history,

00:34:30.960 to think about which side was right and for which reasons and at which moments.

00:34:35.260 To think about the philosophies that were motivating these people.

00:34:39.520 It's preposterous to say that we're going to have an education system

00:34:44.200 that puts Plato and Aristotle at the same level as the Marquis de Sade,

00:34:48.740 the man from whom we get sadism.

00:34:50.620 Yes, you can read Plato's Republic or you can read the Marquis de Sade's pornography

00:34:54.500 and the things that are being described are absolutely on the same level.

00:34:58.700 No, they're not.

00:34:59.500 That's insane.

00:35:00.220 Of course not.

00:35:01.540 You have to have a moral framework.

00:35:04.360 That's what education is.

00:35:05.720 Education is not just teaching you your reading, writing, and arithmetic.

00:35:10.240 Education is raising someone up,

00:35:13.300 teaching them to tamp down their basest passions and appetites,

00:35:16.960 teaching them to make sense of their freedom.

00:35:18.500 That's the definition of liberal education.

00:35:20.200 And to do that, you need a moral viewpoint.

00:35:21.600 You need to be able to say that some ideas are evil and some ideas are good.

00:35:24.660 And some movements were really bad and some movements were good.

00:35:26.800 And you've got to make those decisions.

00:35:28.120 And the left has benefited from this for over half a century at this point.

00:35:33.200 That's the issue here is when CRT is being taught in schools, 0.91

00:35:37.160 what they're teaching is that America is bad and white supremacist 0.97

00:35:40.760 and evil and bigoted and there's structural racism. 0.99

00:35:43.280 We've got to tear it down and have a new country. 0.99

00:35:46.340 So the teacher's actually right on the broader point.

00:35:49.040 Conservatives need to listen to what the left is saying.

00:35:50.920 Their view of education is actually more accurate than ours is.

00:35:55.300 How do we know that?

00:35:56.180 Because our view of education is just the liberals pretend view that they pushed us in the 60s and 70s

00:36:01.380 that they've now abandoned because it's complete bunk.

00:36:04.280 Do you know who has a better idea on education?

00:36:07.160 Governor Ron DeSantis down in Florida.

00:36:09.560 Governor DeSantis was just speaking with Mark Levin.

00:36:12.340 And he described his new proposal that the legislature is going to take up this session

00:36:17.660 to allow parents to inspect the curricula that their kids are being taught

00:36:22.180 and to sue the school districts if the schools are peddling radical ideologies.

00:36:28.900 They want these kids to hate this country.

00:36:31.820 They want them to reject our founding, our institutions,

00:36:34.960 and they want to replace that with their leftist ideology,

00:36:39.100 which would obviously be disastrous for this country's future.

00:36:42.500 So the stakes are very high on that.

00:36:44.080 But there's a problem when you can say you can't do it,

00:36:47.580 but what if they defy you?

00:36:49.040 What if they're doing it?

00:36:49.900 And so what we're going to be doing in this upcoming legislative session,

00:36:52.620 we're going to give parents the ability to go in and get legal relief

00:36:56.440 if they're not following our state standards with respect to history and government.

00:37:01.700 And I think empowering parents to be involved,

00:37:05.000 making sure parents have a right to inspect the curriculum.

00:37:07.680 And it's not just about critical race theory.

00:37:10.140 I mean, there's a lot of other inappropriate content that can be smuggled in by public schools.

00:37:17.160 But this is a threat to academic freedom, Governor DeSantis.

00:37:21.280 Oh, no, this is totalitarian.

00:37:24.680 This is fascist.

00:37:25.600 You can't tell teachers what they can teach.

00:37:29.540 Of course you can.

00:37:31.540 And you have to.

00:37:32.400 That's what curricula are.

00:37:33.880 That's why we have public education.

00:37:35.640 Because the public, the community, is supposed to have some say over how their kids are going to be raised.

00:37:41.860 The left already has this.

00:37:44.880 Well, if we permit this, then conservatives can kick certain books out of schools.

00:37:49.920 The left already has that.

00:37:52.600 You can read any book in school.

00:37:54.360 You can read any book you want.

00:37:55.860 You can read Ibram Kendi.

00:37:57.800 You can read Robin DiAngelo.

00:37:59.340 You can probably read Mein Kampf.

00:38:00.460 There's one book that cannot be taught in schools.

00:38:05.020 What book is that?

00:38:05.860 It's the Bible.

00:38:07.120 It's the most important book ever written.

00:38:09.960 Even if you don't believe in it, surely you would acknowledge that it is central to Western civilization.

00:38:18.840 That's the one you can't teach in schools.

00:38:23.220 If a teacher starts teaching the Bible in schools, that teacher will be punished.

00:38:28.660 The school will be sued.

00:38:29.940 I promise you.

00:38:30.620 I guarantee you.

00:38:31.220 Furthermore, if a teacher assigned my book in schools, well, I guess either of my books, certainly reasons to vote for Democrats, that would do it.

00:38:39.620 And Speechless, too.

00:38:40.360 If they assigned to Speechless, they said, hey, Speechless, controlling words, controlling minds, it's a history of how words have changed throughout the last hundred years.

00:38:50.680 It's a history of the left's manipulation of language from the 1920s to 2020.

00:38:57.720 Most of it's not particularly polemical.

00:39:00.160 It's just a history of these ideas and how it changed and what the left and the right got wrong and right.

00:39:04.460 But I guarantee you that teacher would be punished.

00:39:07.480 Maybe the school would be sued.

00:39:10.160 So what DeSantis is saying here is we're not actually going to change the way education is done in terms of the form and the procedure.

00:39:19.060 We're just going to allow conservatives to do the same things that the left has been doing for decades so that we don't just completely roll over and let the left take over our culture and destroy and poison the brains of future generations of Americans.

00:39:32.780 Sounds good to me.

00:39:35.220 Sounds good to me, man.

00:39:36.240 Sounds like this guy gets it.

00:39:38.520 And that's why he's getting a lot of hate right now.

00:39:41.060 There are a handful of politicians who are getting a ton of hate on the right.

00:39:45.800 One or two senators, really just one governor, Ron DeSantis, and Trump, of course.

00:39:51.960 Why?

00:39:53.380 DeSantis knows why.

00:39:54.360 They're going after him because he's right over the target.

00:39:57.000 Now, look, I mean, when you're over the target, they're going to come at you.

00:40:00.500 But what I view it as, I view it as positive feedback.

00:40:04.780 If the corporate press nationally isn't attacking me, then I'm probably not doing my job.

00:40:10.260 So the fact that they are attacking me is a good indication that, you know what, I'm tackling the big issues.

00:40:15.940 We're going after critical race theory.

00:40:17.900 We're fighting back against Biden's mandates.

00:40:20.100 We're fighting back against the illegal immigration.

00:40:22.220 All those things that a vast majority of Floridians and Americans want to see done, but that does threaten the ruling class and the regime.

00:40:31.560 And so when you stand up in this day and age that we're in, when you're speaking the truth, those folks do not want that to get out.

00:40:39.200 And so they are going to throw arrows at you.

00:40:41.500 But I think that what we've been able to show is if you stand your ground, if you lead, if you don't back down and just stand for the right things, there's a groundswell of folks who will have your back.

00:40:53.140 And that ultimately is what it's all about.

00:40:56.120 Listen to the language.

00:40:57.840 Yes, the point he's making, he's saying, I'm doing a really good job and that's why they're attacking me.

00:41:01.480 That's basically the argument he's making.

00:41:05.920 But listen to the language, the ruling class, the regime standing for substantive things.

00:41:16.320 This guy is not talking like Republicans talked five and 10 years ago or 20 or 30 years ago.

00:41:22.540 This guy is very dialed in.

00:41:25.500 This guy is using the kind of language that we use on this show that other conservatives who I think are moving in the right direction that they're using.

00:41:36.360 They're recognizing this is not just a battle between Republicans and Democrats or the conservatives and the leftists, but there's a structural issue here.

00:41:46.200 The liberal establishment, the ruling class, this, it's not just private enterprise versus big government.

00:41:51.840 It's the big government and the administrative agencies working with the woke corporations and with the media and working in tandem with the university.

00:42:01.400 It's all kind of the, it's just the, it's just the ruling class.

00:42:04.200 I don't know how else you're going to describe it.

00:42:06.720 I don't know who's writing his speeches.

00:42:08.580 Maybe it's DeSantis himself.

00:42:10.100 One thing I can tell you though, expect to hear more of this as we get closer to 2024 from the candidates who want to be taken seriously.

00:42:19.080 From the candidates who know, who know what time it is and who, who know what, what time it's going to be during the next presidential race.

00:42:27.700 Sub, we're talking about substance, not just procedure, not just you can say whatever you want and that's fine.

00:42:33.140 Not just when you can teach whatever you want in schools, not just you can do whatever you want to do.

00:42:37.780 Just don't make me do it.

00:42:38.600 It's not just that kind of 10 year old dated Republican language, the kind of fashionable libertarian kind of language.

00:42:49.500 We're talking about substance, standing for the right things, the right things in the classroom, the right things in our community, the right things in our country.

00:42:58.820 DeSantis is doing a good job on this right now.

00:43:00.660 Expect to hear more of this from other candidates, especially from candidates who want to be taken seriously in the coming years, both in the midterms and presidential and moving forward.

00:43:12.580 Speaking of Florida, AOC just took a little vacation to Florida.

00:43:19.820 COVID was exploding in New York.

00:43:22.180 Things are locked down still in many ways.

00:43:24.260 So AOC goes with her boyfriend, they go to Florida.

00:43:28.100 What happens?

00:43:28.800 She's not wearing a mask.

00:43:31.900 She's been a little loose with the rules.

00:43:34.520 She gets COVID.

00:43:35.900 I don't think she got COVID because she went to Florida.

00:43:37.980 I don't think she got COVID because she's not wearing a mask.

00:43:40.460 Virtually all of my friends in New York have COVID right now or have recently recovered from COVID.

00:43:46.480 But she got it.

00:43:49.960 She's extremely vaccinated.

00:43:53.400 She's one of the biggest peddlers of all the COVID lockdown rules. 1.00

00:43:56.880 She says, her office sends out this statement.

00:44:01.660 Representative Ocasio-Cortez has received a positive test result for COVID-19.

00:44:05.240 She's experiencing symptoms and recovering at home.

00:44:07.480 The congresswoman received her booster shot this fall and encourages everyone to get their booster and follow all CDC guidance.

00:44:12.980 Now, the good news for the young, healthy AOC is that it doesn't matter.

00:44:21.900 It's like a cold.

00:44:22.680 You'll be fine.

00:44:23.240 But the political import here is that it turns the consensus view on its head.

00:44:30.020 The consensus view being peddled by the establishment right now is that when anti-vaxxers, when anti-vax, anti-science, meaning people who don't just want to stick themselves with some random drug to prevent or to not prevent getting a mild cough, 1.00

00:44:47.920 that they're idiots, they're idiots, they're rubes. 1.00

00:44:51.900 Actually, though, it seems to me that when someone who goes out and says, look, we're all going to get COVID at some point, it's just for the vast majority of us, it's not going to be a big deal. 1.00

00:45:03.100 It's fine.

00:45:03.480 I'm going to roll the dice.

00:45:04.200 But when that person gets COVID, that's not ironic or funny or that's what you would expect.

00:45:11.060 That's what that person would expect, too.

00:45:13.120 It is much, much funnier when a person who is triple vaxxed and wears three masks at a time and locked themselves in a hermetically sealed tube for two years comes down with COVID because they thought they weren't going to get it.

00:45:27.880 And they kept saying it's a pandemic of the unvaccinated. 1.00

00:45:30.280 And they believed Fauci and Rochelle Walensky and Joe Biden like idiots. 1.00

00:45:34.660 They believed these people. 1.00

00:45:35.720 And then it turned out that what we were told by Walensky and Fauci and Biden just wasn't true.

00:45:40.820 And then they got it.

00:45:41.880 And that's it's never funny when someone gets a sickness.

00:45:46.380 You know, thankfully, in this case, you know, the vast, vast majority of people are going to be just completely fine.

00:45:52.200 Some won't even know that they have it.

00:45:53.400 But if you're telling me one is funnier than the other, it is much funnier when the people have their expectations subverted.

00:46:01.520 And in this case, that would be the left.

00:46:04.800 But it would have been worse without the booster.

00:46:07.740 It would have been worse without the vaccine.

00:46:09.500 That's what we're told.

00:46:10.200 Maggie Haberman at The New York Times and CNN.

00:46:12.680 She tweets out.

00:46:13.520 Been avoiding this, but COVID is the absolute pits.

00:46:18.760 Been lucky it isn't worse.

00:46:19.820 But at its worst, it's like a bad flu and it's dragged on and lingered.

00:46:22.720 I'm vaxxed and boosted and still got a breakthrough case.

00:46:25.340 Man, a whole lot of breakthrough cases going around, huh?

00:46:27.660 Gosh, golly, I can't believe how many breakthrough cases there are.

00:46:31.920 Would welcome folks not continuing to say it's all mild.

00:46:35.820 Didn't you just say it's mild?

00:46:38.200 You said it's like a bad flu.

00:46:39.380 It's fine.

00:46:40.040 It's not.

00:46:40.600 No, come on. 0.85

00:46:41.060 Okay.

00:46:41.340 But don't say it's mild.

00:46:43.520 It would also have been much worse without a vaccine and booster.

00:46:49.620 Like maybe.

00:46:51.640 Maybe, I guess.

00:46:52.740 I'm not saying that it definitely wouldn't have been much worse.

00:47:01.200 But I am saying that it would have been worse without a vaccine and booster is a cope for people

00:47:06.860 who expected the vaccines to work the way that we were all told that they would work.

00:47:11.320 And then they didn't work that way.

00:47:12.740 And so now they're saying, no, but it's, oh, but thank goodness I got it because I don't 0.93

00:47:17.240 want to feel like an idiot for believing those people and having been completely wrong. 0.56

00:47:20.760 So look, it would, even though it's completely unfalsifiable, I, it would have been a lot 0.99

00:47:24.380 worse.

00:47:25.420 I know it.

00:47:26.480 I, maybe, maybe, maybe it would have.

00:47:28.120 Sure.

00:47:28.440 It's possible.

00:47:29.120 But you, the only reason you believe that, that it would have been a lot worse without 1.00

00:47:34.220 the vaccine, the booster is because you have been told that is true by the same lying idiots 1.00

00:47:40.340 who have deceived you on virtually every other aspect of the virus. 1.00

00:47:44.660 So why, why would you believe that?

00:47:47.880 And the craziest thing to me, we were talking yesterday about the potential mass psychosis

00:47:52.900 going on in this country during COVID is that people will now tell you with a straight face,

00:47:58.920 libs will tell, when you point out that the vaccines aren't doing what we were told they

00:48:01.660 would do, they will look you in the face and they will say, no, Michael, the vaccines were

00:48:05.380 never supposed to prevent infection.

00:48:07.820 Michael, the vaccines were never supposed to stop, stop transmission.

00:48:10.140 That's not what we were told, Michael.

00:48:11.580 We were told that, that they would just reduce the severity of the symptoms.

00:48:16.620 That's what vaccines do, Michael.

00:48:17.960 That's why you get your polio vaccine to, to reduce the severity of polio, right?

00:48:21.360 Uh, don't think so.

00:48:22.520 That's not what I remember, but you're, hold on.

00:48:24.680 You're telling me that you really believe that we were never told that the vaccines were

00:48:30.300 going to stop you from getting COVID and transmitting it.

00:48:32.760 Please just go with me for a second.

00:48:36.420 Let me take you on a trip back down memory lane.

00:48:38.700 There's been over a 20 to one return.

00:48:41.560 If you had put that money into an S&P 500 and reinvested the dividends, you'd come up

00:48:45.480 with something like $17 billion, but you think it's $200 billion.

00:48:48.680 Here, yeah.

00:48:49.480 You're okay.

00:48:50.240 You're not going to, you're not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.

00:48:54.240 These vaccines are highly, highly effective.

00:48:57.840 Vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don't get sick.

00:49:01.400 They're really, really good against variants.

00:49:03.600 Everyone who takes the vaccine is not just protecting themselves, but reducing their transmission.

00:49:08.680 to other people and allowing society to get back to normal.

00:49:12.540 Get your first shot.

00:49:13.600 And when you're due for your second, get your second shot.

00:49:15.680 A key goal is to stop the transmission, to get the immunity levels up so that you get

00:49:20.040 almost no, almost no infection going on whatsoever.

00:49:24.020 When people are vaccinated, they can feel safe that they are not going to get infected.

00:49:29.880 They told you.

00:49:31.740 The crazy part is not that they told you this and then it turned out they were completely 1.00

00:49:36.740 wrong and either they're just idiots or liars or more likely both. 1.00

00:49:40.820 The craziest part, as far as I'm concerned, is that you now believe the lie that they're 1.00

00:49:48.000 telling you that the vaccines were never supposed to stop infection or transmission.

00:49:53.500 They just, they just, they're just telling you, no, no, ignore what you heard.

00:49:56.920 Nope. 0.99

00:49:57.240 Don't believe your lying eyes. 0.99

00:49:59.360 No, no.

00:50:00.500 Oceania has always been at war with East Asia.

00:50:02.960 No, no.

00:50:03.860 Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia. 0.76

00:50:05.900 That is the kind of mass psychosis that some people are talking about right now.

00:50:14.540 And sure, maybe some of the things that we are, that are common sense views on public

00:50:18.860 health or public policy, maybe some of them are true, but they're only accidentally true.

00:50:24.000 And I don't think that you should base your entire belief in them on the utterances and 0.99

00:50:29.280 whims and caprices of the same jerk, loser, incompetent, deceitful liars who have misled 1.00

00:50:40.160 us for the past two years. 1.00
