00:00:37.700 In case you haven't heard, there is a major threat to our democracy.

00:00:42.540 It turns out that according to reputable polling, the majority of Americans intend to vote for Republicans in the coming elections.

00:00:52.740 And this constitutes a major threat to our democracy.

00:00:56.460 It very well might destroy our democracy, according to the former Republican-turned-liberal columnist Max Boot.

00:01:04.460 Mr. Boot announced that a recent Gallup poll indicating a major shift among the voting public from Democrat to Republican constitutes, quote,

00:01:13.380 an ominous sign for the future of U.S. democracy.

00:01:17.200 Gallup found that this swing from Democrat to Republican is, quote,

00:01:22.440 the biggest swing in Gallup's 30 years of tracking.

00:01:27.160 So you see, the people don't like our current rulers.

00:01:31.460 And they want to go to the ballot box and vote them out.

00:01:34.560 And this is a major threat to our democracy, according to the liberals and the court jesters of the ruling class on the right.

00:01:44.700 They keep using that word democracy.

00:01:47.080 I do not think it means what they think it means.

00:01:49.160 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:01:49.860 This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:01:50.660 Welcome back to the show.

00:01:59.260 My favorite comment yesterday is from OEFonlyX33, who says,

00:02:06.260 So, what are you in for?

00:02:09.240 I called a man a man when I was prepping him for his prostate exam. 0.69

00:02:13.040 Dang, that's rough.

00:02:14.560 What about you? 0.99

00:02:15.900 I shot my boyfriend and stole his drugs.

00:02:17.860 This is true.

00:02:18.360 That is a real conversation, I imagine, that's going on in Canada jails.

00:02:23.460 Might be happening in California jails pretty soon.

00:02:26.100 That's unfortunate.

00:02:27.180 That's a real downside for our culture.

00:02:29.060 Now, when you want an upside, I would strongly recommend you check out GetUpside.

00:02:33.080 Are you spending too much money on gas right now?

00:02:35.280 I know you are.

00:02:36.220 If you live in America, you are spending too much money on gas.

00:02:39.360 Well, I've got a little relief for you.

00:02:41.460 That would be GetUpside.

00:02:43.760 GetUpside.

00:02:44.120 It's a free app.

00:02:45.100 You go in, you download the free app, and then you get 25 cents per gallon cash back

00:02:51.220 every time you fill up your tank.

00:02:54.000 Well, that's not quite true.

00:02:55.180 The first time you fill up your tank, you will actually get 50 cents per gallon cash back.

00:03:00.460 If you use the code Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S, there's no catch.

00:03:03.700 There's only cash back.

00:03:06.320 It goes right into your bank account.

00:03:08.100 You don't need to worry about it.

00:03:09.100 Or if you prefer, you can get the money via PayPal.

00:03:12.860 You can get it through an e-gift card for Amazon and other companies.

00:03:16.180 Or you get it right into the bank account.

00:03:18.040 Everyone could use a little relief at the pump these days.

00:03:20.740 You can get it.

00:03:21.480 If you go to GetUpside, you download that app, you use code Knowles, you will get up

00:03:26.520 to 50 cents per gallon cash back on your first fill up.

00:03:30.320 That is code Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S. 0.96

00:03:33.420 Just a little gift from me to you.

00:03:35.740 Enjoy.

00:03:37.400 Amid all the craziness in our society right now, a lovely little upside.

00:03:43.220 Democracy is whenever we do the things the liberals want and whenever the people don't

00:03:47.120 want the things the liberals want.

00:03:48.420 That is not democracy.

00:03:49.460 That's a threat to our democracy.

00:03:51.140 Adrian Vermeule, the Harvard law professor and conservative intellectual, he has pointed

00:03:57.420 out that if you just replace the word democracy with liberalism, when the left says, there's

00:04:03.480 a threat to our democracy, we have a sacred temple of democracy, then their currently incoherent

00:04:09.020 babblings start to make a little bit more sense. 0.66

00:04:11.800 And that's what they're talking about.

00:04:13.200 You see this in Poland.

00:04:15.240 You see this in Hungary.

00:04:17.020 You see this throughout the West.

00:04:18.400 Whenever the people don't want liberalism, this is called a threat to our democracy.

00:04:24.360 It's also a reminder that never Trump was never just about Trump.

00:04:28.580 Max Boot made a name for himself during the never Trump movement.

00:04:31.800 There were a handful of former Republicans who did the same.

00:04:36.160 But it's not as though once Donald Trump went away, they all of a sudden started supporting

00:04:40.860 Republicans again.

00:04:42.060 They still support liberals.

00:04:43.280 They still support Democrats.

00:04:44.700 They want to vote the Republicans out of Congress.

00:04:47.600 They want to vote Republicans out at the state level, too.

00:04:50.700 They want to discredit all Republicans.

00:04:52.980 There was that great meme during the 2020 election, which Donald Trump actually posted.

00:04:58.280 He tweeted it out, which was him sitting there.

00:05:00.660 And he said, they're not after me.

00:05:03.620 They're after you.

00:05:04.760 And I just happened to be in the way. 0.99

00:05:07.700 According to the left, every American to the right of Hillary Clinton is a horrible, vicious, 1.00

00:05:13.840 vile, racist, bigot, terrible person. 0.99

00:05:17.280 Hakeem Jeffries, who's a Democrat congressman, just made this claim almost verbatim, speaking 0.99

00:05:22.720 from the House of Representatives.

00:05:23.860 What happened to the modern-day Republican Party?

00:05:27.780 Was it the election that took place in 2008?

00:05:33.080 Did that disturb you?

00:05:35.480 Did that throw you off?

00:05:38.840 Were you confused by that?

00:05:41.560 Still trying to figure out how it occurred?

00:05:43.880 What happened to the modern-day Republican Party that you've abandoned your own principles?

00:05:52.140 Principles that Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, and George W. Bush espoused.

00:06:00.380 And that 16 of you voted to authorize in 2006.

00:06:06.620 What happened to the modern-day Republican Party?

00:06:10.100 It's a cult right now.

00:06:12.540 Is it because the cult leader has told you to oppose voting rights?

00:06:17.780 What happened, Republicans?

00:06:19.640 Was it something that happened in 2008?

00:06:22.140 You racists.

00:06:24.600 Was it 2008 was so long ago?

00:06:27.720 Do you realize how long ago that was?

00:06:29.120 They're still on about this.

00:06:31.260 14 years ago, America elected a black guy president.

00:06:37.120 The Republicans didn't like him. 0.99

00:06:40.220 Not because he was black, because he was a terrible president. 0.98

00:06:43.760 One of the worst presidents ever, although Joe Biden has given him a run for his money 0.98

00:06:47.860 and I think probably superseded him.

00:06:51.600 We couldn't oppose Barack Obama and certainly the modern Democrat Party because they are knocking down our statues,

00:07:01.120 attacking our country, disrespecting our flag, indoctrinating our kids in radical leftism,

00:07:07.540 in radical racial theories, in insane gender and sexual theories.

00:07:12.720 It couldn't be that. 0.99

00:07:13.420 It's because we don't like black people, right? 1.00

00:07:16.520 Except the current Democrat president is white. 0.98

00:07:20.780 There are plenty of prominent black Republicans. 0.91

00:07:22.420 So they got to go back to 2008 and say, you don't like him because he's black.

00:07:26.020 A reminder about this joker, Hakeem Jeffries.

00:07:28.960 His uncle is a man named Leonard Jeffries.

00:07:31.820 Leonard Jeffries made a name for himself because he was an infamous professor who had a theory that white people are the ice people. 0.95

00:07:40.680 People, they're callous, they're cruel, they're oppressors, they're the ice people. 1.00

00:07:46.220 And black people are the people of the sun. 1.00

00:07:48.460 They're warm, they're nice, they're loving.

00:07:50.700 And he taught this for years and years at CUNY.

00:07:54.080 Finally, they ran him out of there, but apparently bile runs in the family.

00:07:59.040 Hakeem Jeffries, I suspect, is simply upset that the Democrats are doing terribly in the polls

00:08:04.580 and they don't look like they're going to do very well in the midterm elections.

00:08:07.860 And so he's saying, what happened to the Republican Party? 0.94

00:08:10.920 What he means is, why aren't you guys docile losers anymore? 0.99

00:08:16.220 Why aren't you guys losers? 0.98

00:08:17.520 Why aren't you guys just going along with whatever we want? 0.98

00:08:19.900 We can't get anything passed here in Congress.

00:08:22.080 We can't pass a federal election takeover.

00:08:25.480 We can't pass a repeal of the filibuster in the Senate.

00:08:30.280 Gosh, we can't even pass a budget.

00:08:33.260 Why won't you guys let us do that? 0.97

00:08:36.200 You must be racists.

00:08:38.600 Now, there has been polling on this. 0.77

00:08:40.480 There's polling out of Pew Research, which showed that white people are the least racist racial group

00:08:47.340 because they have the lowest racial consciousness.

00:08:50.580 For every other racial group, the sense of racial consciousness,

00:08:54.780 their race being somewhat or very important to their sense of identity, is higher than 50%.

00:08:59.980 That's true of Asians, that's true of Hispanics, and it's especially true of blacks who have racial consciousness north of 70%.

00:09:06.840 The number for white people is 15%.

00:09:10.220 Not 50, 15.

00:09:13.100 There's a very low, low racial consciousness.

00:09:17.280 And the GOP, there are plenty of Hispanic Republicans.

00:09:21.740 That's worrying the Democrats right now.

00:09:24.540 And there are a number of black Republicans as well.

00:09:26.900 And in terms of the party, elected officials and appointed officials, there are many black Republicans.

00:09:33.640 The GOP may be the least racist party in the history of political parties.

00:09:38.620 It was founded to abolish slavery.

00:09:41.040 It was specifically founded for that goal.

00:09:43.540 And the Democrats now claim that the parties switched.

00:09:45.880 One day in the 1960s, the Democrats and the Republicans, they all sat down.

00:09:49.200 And they said, okay, from now on, you're going to be the Republicans and we're going to be the Democrats.

00:09:53.420 Okay, why are we doing that?

00:09:54.360 I have absolutely no idea, but that's what we're going to do.

00:09:56.420 It's not plausible.

00:09:58.900 But you look at the current Republican Party.

00:10:01.900 Anytime there is a black Republican who's talented at politics, who has the right ideas,

00:10:07.540 the GOP promotes that politician as best they can. 0.99

00:10:10.880 In no small part to counter this preposterous narrative that you're hearing from schmucks like Hakeem Jeffries 1.00

00:10:17.180 and the rest of the Democrats, you Republicans, it's because of your white supremacist privilege, privilege. 1.00

00:10:27.440 That's what we're always hearing about.

00:10:29.340 In the Fairfax public schools right now, students are being taught lesson plans about privilege.

00:10:35.600 I am very lucky that my wonderful little son is not in school yet.

00:10:41.700 We've got to figure out what are we going to do.

00:10:43.160 I guess if we can find a semi-sane private school that's not too expensive, we're going to try to send them there.

00:10:49.740 Maybe we'll homeschool. 0.99

00:10:51.040 The one thing we can't do is send our kid to public schools if they are teaching this racial and sexual crap. 1.00

00:10:57.960 A Fairfax County public school has a lesson right now about privilege. 0.99

00:11:03.800 It's called privilege bingo, where students are given privilege points.

00:11:09.020 If they're white, male, employed, or involved in extracurricular activities, or feel represented in the media.

00:11:19.820 One of the privilege points goes to military kids.

00:11:24.920 So if your dad is in the army, you are said to be privileged.

00:11:30.800 If your dad goes and deploys to some godforsaken, war-torn backwater, and very possibly could be killed by terrorists fighting for our freedom, you are privileged.

00:11:44.480 That if you could, you have to sacrifice seeing your father or your mother for long periods of time, and possibly you could become an orphan.

00:11:52.000 That makes you privileged.

00:11:55.120 Of course, this privilege bingo is the opposite of reality.

00:11:59.740 Do you know how I know that white people and men are not privileged by our society? 1.00

00:12:05.520 They have to play the stupid privilege bingo, and they get called out and humiliated in front of their classmates. 1.00

00:12:10.740 And you could never do this for any other sexual or racial group. 1.00

00:12:14.080 And you certainly, certainly shouldn't do this for a child whose parents are serving the country, and because of their service, the child could wind up an orphan.

00:12:24.540 That's the clearest example of how extreme this has gotten, but it's true on every other alleged privileged group as well.

00:12:31.780 It's just, it's simple, folks.

00:12:34.660 It's simple, and it's clean.

00:12:36.060 And when you want to clean things, very simply, I would recommend you check out Naturally It's Clean.

00:12:41.600 I love Naturally It's Clean.

00:12:44.000 I love it because the company is a good company that shares our values, that defends the American way of life, that focuses on personal responsibility, environmental responsibility.

00:12:55.660 They're really good guys.

00:12:56.360 But frankly, I would use Naturally It's Clean, even if it were produced in, oh, I don't know, Russia or China, or if it were made by the Taliban, or if I would, I would use the company, even if it were radical leftists running it, because it's that good.

00:13:13.000 They use plant-based enzymes so that when you're cleaning, you're not just pushing the muck around, you're actually breaking down all that muck and gross stuff sitting around your carpets and around your floors and around your tabletops.

00:13:28.400 I gave it the Sweet Little Elisa test, okay?

00:13:32.080 Sweet Little Elisa is a real stickler about her cleaning products. 1.00

00:13:35.260 She was very skeptical.

00:13:37.920 I bring it back.

00:13:38.440 She looks.

00:13:38.980 She looks at the ingredients.

00:13:40.180 She looks at how it's going to work, and she loves it.

00:13:44.920 She loves it.

00:13:45.420 I love it, too.

00:13:46.300 I would recommend starting with the Daily Wire 4-pack of essentials, which include four great products.

00:13:50.560 You go to naturallyitsclean.com slash Michael, M-I-C-H-A-E-L.

00:13:54.520 Use promo code Michael to get 15% off your order.

00:13:58.900 Cleaning products are expensive.

00:14:00.160 If you keep a clean home, you will go through them fast.

00:14:02.900 We encourage our listeners to not only keep a clean home, but to support these wonderful companies like Naturally It's Clean while you do it, because they support your conservative values.

00:14:13.780 Head on over, naturallyitsclean.com slash Michael.

00:14:16.860 You will be blown away.

00:14:18.720 Speaking of what's going on abroad, great news out of the United Kingdom.

00:14:23.100 Boris Johnson, prime minister over there in the UK, has just announced that there will no longer be mandatory face masks and COVID passports at large events in the United Kingdom.

00:14:37.040 This is really good news, because the UK, and Johnson in particular, have gone back and forth and back and forth.

00:14:43.960 At the early part of COVID, Bojo was going out, shaking hands, kissing people. 0.99

00:14:50.120 He was ignoring all of the stupid rules. 0.98

00:14:52.120 Then he got COVID, and he got spooked about it, and he went completely in the other direction, and locked down, and he's kept this whole thing going. 0.99

00:15:01.460 Well, now he's gone back into the direction of reason, and he's saying, look, we can't live like this forever.

00:15:08.020 We can't live suspending the normal rules of society forever and ever and ever, especially now, where the dominant strain of COVID is Omicron.

00:15:17.000 It's not particularly dangerous compared to other viruses.

00:15:21.400 It doesn't seem like there's very much we can do to stop it from spreading.

00:15:24.580 It's just going everywhere.

00:15:26.000 It's extremely transmissible, and the vaccines don't appear to do a very good job preventing infections.

00:15:31.740 So we're just going to open up.

00:15:33.920 The government is no longer advising people to work from home.

00:15:37.740 The compulsory face masks are going to be scrapped in the classroom starting Thursday.

00:15:42.380 Today, COVID-19 passes will not be needed to gain entry to large events.

00:15:47.060 Quote, we will trust the judgment of the British people and no longer criminalize anyone who chooses not to wear one.

00:15:56.240 Better late than never.

00:15:57.880 Better late than never.

00:15:59.540 And what do I care what's going on in the United Kingdom?

00:16:04.660 Not very much in terms of their country.

00:16:07.300 They can run their own country.

00:16:08.580 But I am glad that they're loosening up on this because international pressure is going to help to change our domestic policies.

00:16:17.620 If we're living in a world where every single country is locked down and no one can travel and everyone's wearing 10 masks,

00:16:25.160 that's going to affect how we govern ourselves here in America as well.

00:16:29.320 I very often talk on this show about how the libertarian idea that we're all just atomized individuals and what you do doesn't affect me is not true

00:16:36.560 because we all live in a society and politics is what we all do together.

00:16:40.620 Well, that's certainly true at the domestic level.

00:16:43.380 It's true at the international level too, especially as we are increasingly governed by international bodies

00:16:48.480 like the World Health Organization, like the United Nations, and so on and so forth.

00:16:52.700 So if Bojo is going to say, okay, the UK is done with this, that might help push us in the right direction

00:16:59.620 rather than if the world were just full of Australias, which are turning their countries into prison camps because of the cough. 0.93

00:17:07.480 Every Republican in office right now needs to use whatever political power they have to pressure our government to do the same.

00:17:20.400 To get rid of the masks, to get rid of the mandatory vaccines.

00:17:24.280 Fortunately, we got this great ruling from the Supreme Court where the employers are no longer required by the government

00:17:31.180 to enforce these mask mandates.

00:17:33.300 That's good.

00:17:34.700 Now, we all need to push back.

00:17:37.020 Not just us in the culture, but the elected Republican politicians.

00:17:41.300 If you are an elected Republican and you are not using your platform and your power right now to stop this,

00:17:48.980 you are dead to me, okay?

00:17:50.700 I'm done with it.

00:17:52.860 I'm just completely—I understand that members of Congress can't do very much.

00:17:57.100 I understand that members of the United States Senate even can't do very much.

00:18:00.620 Governors actually can do quite a lot.

00:18:02.200 Mayors can do quite a lot.

00:18:04.100 We need a concerted effort.

00:18:05.600 We need collective action here because individuals just choosing whether or not to wear the masks, that's not going to cut it.

00:18:14.480 We all need to come together.

00:18:16.580 The UK is doing it.

00:18:18.040 Some other countries are doing it.

00:18:19.380 The United States needs to do it as well.

00:18:21.480 Now, speaking of public health, a Protestant pastor got in a whole lot of trouble a few days ago.

00:18:28.580 His name is Mike Todd.

00:18:30.360 I don't know anything about Mike Todd.

00:18:32.680 I don't know anything really about his theology or his liturgy.

00:18:36.480 He got in trouble because he spit on his hand and rubbed it on a member of his congregation's face.

00:18:43.420 He trended. 1.00

00:18:44.820 We were told he's an idiot. 1.00

00:18:46.260 This is crazy. 1.00

00:18:47.160 This is spooky. 0.97

00:18:48.020 He should be locked away.

00:18:48.900 Here is what Mike Todd said and did.

00:18:52.300 He's changing something and you don't see it clearly yet.

00:18:57.120 But you hear.

00:18:57.720 And this is where most people would not face Jesus anymore.

00:19:14.720 What most people would do is turn away.

00:19:18.980 The vision I'm about to give you, it might get nasty.

00:19:41.260 All right.

00:19:41.960 The cough was probably unnecessary.

00:19:44.000 I will admit that was a little bit gross.

00:19:45.720 But the idea of a pastor rubbing saliva on a member of the congregation's face is actually not that weird when you look at the Christian tradition.

00:19:55.900 Actually, in the traditional rite of baptism that has existed in the Catholic Church for many, many centuries,

00:20:02.320 the priest has a little saliva on his thumb and rubs it on the nostrils and the ears of the baby being baptized.

00:20:08.840 Christ uses saliva to spit in the dirt and then rub it on a man's face in the Gospels.

00:20:15.520 It's not that weird if you are familiar with Christianity.

00:20:19.760 This guy, Mike Todd, I suspect I wouldn't agree very much with his take on theology and liturgy.

00:20:26.800 But I don't really get what the big deal is.

00:20:29.040 I guess the big deal is that we are now living in a different religion.

00:20:32.220 We're living under the cult of public health, where we're not even, forget about coughing in public, forget about touching someone, especially with saliva.

00:20:41.900 We're not even allowed to breathe in the same room.

00:20:45.840 We have to put masks on.

00:20:48.200 We have to look at one another as walking bags of germs that are ready to kill us rather than as our brothers in Christ, as our fellow human beings.

00:20:57.920 So I suspect the reason people reacted so strongly against this, obviously he was trying to provoke a reaction to begin with.

00:21:05.940 But the reason people had such a reaction to this is because we're living under the sway of a different religion,

00:21:11.320 which makes an idol out of your physical health, even to the point of not being allowed to get sick anymore.

00:21:20.900 You remember when people used to just get sick sometimes and it was fine?

00:21:23.860 Remember when people used to have a cold or the flu and it was just fine?

00:21:29.760 It wasn't pleasant, but it was okay.

00:21:32.080 Those days seemed gone.

00:21:33.680 My wife and I joke now whenever we're on an airplane or in a restaurant and I cough, just a little cough.

00:21:39.000 I'm not saying it's a COVID cough.

00:21:40.040 I just cough.

00:21:40.600 She looks at me.

00:21:41.220 She says, you can't do that.

00:21:42.580 You're going to get arrested.

00:21:44.060 We're not allowed to do that.

00:21:45.140 Anytime someone coughs or sneezes or has the sniffles down, we say, no, that's, you've got to go away.

00:21:52.280 You've got to lock yourself in your room until you're 100% better.

00:21:57.620 It's a cult.

00:21:59.260 And the ruling class is enforcing the orthodoxies of this cult.

00:22:03.420 Don Lemon on CNN is furious at the anti-vaxxers who won't go along with Dr. Fauci. 1.00

00:22:12.000 He says they're stupid and they should not participate in society. 1.00

00:22:16.140 We need to stop listening to the people and they should not be part of polite society, so to speak. 1.00

00:22:23.500 I can't do my own research better than experts who have devoted their lives to medical and scientific research.

00:22:30.900 When I tell people, I said, you know, they'll say, well, I've been doing my own research and last week I was in Miami.

00:22:36.600 I said, how did you get to Miami?

00:22:37.840 I flew.

00:22:38.580 That's science.

00:22:39.400 So if you don't believe in science, why didn't you walk?

00:22:43.100 Right?

00:22:45.000 Well, because I can't always follow the science.

00:22:47.360 That's the reason that you're here.

00:22:48.640 That's the reason that you don't have polio.

00:22:50.220 That's the reason we don't see polio cases.

00:22:52.400 That's the reason why we don't see smallpox cases is because your parents had the wherewithal and the sense to get you vaccinated as a child.

00:23:01.280 So I don't understand that they had to that you had to because what? 0.98

00:23:05.020 We have to start doing things for the greater good of society and not for idiots who think that they can do their own research or that they are above the law. 0.99

00:23:14.480 Don Lemon is saying, I don't know anything. 0.99

00:23:16.940 I don't do my own research. 0.99

00:23:18.360 I'm completely ignorant. 0.97

00:23:19.700 I blindly follow the experts. 1.00

00:23:22.800 And if you don't do that, you're stupid. 1.00

00:23:25.720 If you do your own research and come to your own opinions, you're a dumb idiot. 1.00

00:23:30.620 You dummy. 1.00

00:23:31.880 You shouldn't be allowed to participate in polite society. 1.00

00:23:35.000 If you had your way, we'd still have polio running rampant and smallpox and all other sorts of diseases.

00:23:43.520 By the way, I think one of the major drivers for why those diseases no longer exist is just basic improvement to sanitation.

00:23:52.100 I'm not saying the vaccines didn't play a role, but also the reason that public health has improved actually until very recently,

00:23:58.960 where you see certain public health measures have actually gone down considerably, including life expectancy.

00:24:04.860 But before then, the reason that public health measures generally have improved has not just been because of vaccines,

00:24:11.000 though, sure, that's played a role, but it's because people are less cramped now.

00:24:15.140 They have more disinfectants.

00:24:18.900 They have more sanitation.

00:24:21.760 That's a big drive.

00:24:23.140 They have better nutrition.

00:24:24.720 All of these things play a role.

00:24:28.960 But if you say that, if you have any kind of balanced view of what's going on in the public health, 1.00

00:24:36.420 you're called an idiot. 1.00

00:24:37.960 You're called an anti-vaxxer by the zealots of this religion. 1.00

00:24:45.320 If you say, I've done my own research and I have some questions about Dr. Fauci,

00:24:48.720 who lied to us about the masks, who lied to us about the efficacy of certain vaccines,

00:24:52.280 who lied to us about the origin of the coronavirus,

00:24:54.200 who lied, lied, lied, lied, lied, got everything wrong

00:24:56.240 and often was intentionally deceitful about it.

00:24:59.580 If you say, hey, the guy with this terrible record of predictions,

00:25:03.020 maybe he's not right about the thing he's predicting right now. 1.00

00:25:06.500 You are called an idiot. 1.00

00:25:07.960 It reminds me of a line from Euripides. 1.00

00:25:09.720 Talk sense to a fool and he will call you foolish. 0.99

00:25:15.700 Euripides wrote that in an old book called The Bakke. 0.99

00:25:18.300 If you want to read old books with our friend Ben Shapiro,

00:25:22.140 you can tune into the Third Thursday Book Club.

00:25:25.360 That's right.

00:26:06.220 Join Ben tonight, 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Central at dailywire.com.

00:26:10.540 We'll be right back with a lot more.

00:26:17.320 Great news from corporate America.

00:26:25.460 When was the last time any of us said that?

00:26:27.600 I don't know.

00:26:28.120 I can't remember.

00:26:29.740 Starbucks announced in a memo this week that it is not going to be enforcing a vaccine mandate on its employees.

00:26:36.600 This after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of us and a lot of other American workers.

00:26:43.460 But Daily Wire brought the suit saying that the OSHA mandate requiring employers with 100 or more employees to force you all to take the Fauci-ouchie are just not acceptable, not legal, not constitutional.

00:26:55.720 They're throwing them out.

00:26:56.660 And so what Starbucks' chief operating officer, John Culver, said is, quote, we respect the court's ruling and will comply.

00:27:08.220 Very interesting take from Starbucks because the court never said that you can't mandate the vaccine on your employees.

00:27:18.300 The court never said that.

00:27:19.660 That's not what the ruling meant.

00:27:20.700 Again, the court said that the mandate from the government is illegal and, well, what it actually said is it's going to remand the issue to the lower courts, but they're very likely to succeed on the merits because very likely the mandate is illegal and unconstitutional.

00:27:37.660 But the court never said that if a business wants to institute this mandate, that it's not allowed to do that.

00:27:42.800 But Starbucks went further, much further than the court and said, look, the court says that the mandate is not legal from the government, that we don't have to follow it, so we're not going to follow it.

00:27:57.100 General Electric did the same thing.

00:27:59.060 General Electric last week announced that it was also suspending the coronavirus vaccine requirement following the court's ruling.

00:28:07.820 The reason I mention this at all, one is good on Starbucks.

00:28:10.700 The libs were trying to make boycott Starbucks trend. 1.00

00:28:13.460 None of them are going to boycott Starbucks.

00:28:15.360 They're all going to get their maple, pumpkin, triple frappuccino with the peppermint ribbons.

00:28:21.320 They're never going to stop.

00:28:22.260 They're addicted.

00:28:23.220 They've been addicted since they were 12.

00:28:24.900 Everyone's going to keep going to Starbucks.

00:28:26.500 So good on them.

00:28:27.420 Good on the company for doing that.

00:28:30.080 Good on General Electric for doing that.

00:28:31.960 But the reason I bring up this story has nothing to do with those individual companies.

00:28:35.040 The reason I bring it up is because this is a great example of culture being downstream of politics.

00:28:42.040 You know, for at least a decade now, conservatives have become fond of saying that politics is downstream of culture.

00:28:50.640 So what you do in the government, what you do when you pass laws, none of that matters.

00:28:55.760 What really matters is the movies that we make.

00:28:58.340 What really matters is the music that we listen to.

00:29:00.920 We've got to just, in the private sphere, change the culture, and then the politics will follow.

00:29:05.840 Sure, the culture has a great effect on our government and the policies that we live under.

00:29:11.520 But the opposite is true as well.

00:29:15.180 The opposite is true as well.

00:29:16.920 When the Supreme Court issues a ruling, that will change the culture.

00:29:23.560 Certainly happened in a number of cases throughout the court's history.

00:29:27.860 And you're seeing it happen here now.

00:29:29.680 The legal precedent that the Supreme Court is establishing is being taken much further than the court would have it by these companies.

00:29:40.420 This is great news and a reminder to conservatives that we need to wield the political power in a just way, in a right way,

00:29:48.420 that the people give us on the happy occasions that they give it to us.

00:29:52.240 Now, speaking of liberal institutions, I made a mistake.

00:29:57.440 Okay, I did something that I never should have done.

00:30:00.600 I never would have expected to have done.

00:30:03.400 I don't know what I was thinking.

00:30:06.840 I trusted NPR.

00:30:09.680 Well, I don't know.

00:30:10.540 I don't know why I trusted NPR.

00:30:11.700 But I reported yesterday on a story that NPR reported on.

00:30:19.340 The story was that the chief justice of the Supreme Court asked the other justices to wear masks.

00:30:26.760 Gorsuch would not go along with this.

00:30:29.280 And Sonia Sotomayor was boycotting the court's joint sessions,

00:30:35.660 where all the justices are getting together and speaking with one another.

00:30:38.820 She was boycotting them and she was piping in on Skype.

00:30:43.020 This is apparently completely fake.

00:30:45.760 According to the Supreme Court, that never happened.

00:30:49.300 Chief Justice Roberts did not ask them all to wear the masks.

00:30:52.880 And Sonia Sotomayor did not boycott because of Neil Gorsuch.

00:30:55.680 According to a joint statement that the two judges, Gorsuch and Sonia Sotomayor, issued,

00:31:00.500 quote,

00:31:01.380 Reporting that Justice Sotomayor asked Justice Gorsuch to wear a mask surprised us.

00:31:06.600 It is false.

00:31:07.760 While we may sometimes disagree about the law, we are warm colleagues and friends.

00:31:14.280 I remember I had the privilege of meeting Scalia when I was a student.

00:31:18.020 And we asked him about some of the rumors we heard about the court.

00:31:20.480 And he said,

00:31:20.840 Don't believe any reporting on the internal workings of the court.

00:31:23.860 No one is allowed to report on that.

00:31:26.560 So if you're hearing anything, it's from someone who is breaking the promise that they made,

00:31:31.440 a clerk or a staff member, breaking the promise that they made not to go to the press.

00:31:36.060 And so they're not trustworthy people.

00:31:37.800 And so you can't believe it either way.

00:31:40.820 This could be some PR damage control.

00:31:43.300 This could be the chief justice sitting down the two justices and saying,

00:31:45.960 Look, we need a united front, issue this joint statement.

00:31:49.680 But then you have to ask yourself,

00:31:52.040 Okay, who do I trust more?

00:31:52.880 The Supreme Court of the United States,

00:31:55.280 both the conservatives and the liberals on it agreeing on this thing,

00:31:58.780 or NPR, or the establishment media.

00:32:02.020 Not saying I trust either of them in particular,

00:32:04.340 but if I had to choose, I would probably choose the Supreme Court over NPR.

00:32:08.720 Which is another reminder that our corporate press is no different than Soviet Pravda.

00:32:17.320 It's just propaganda for the ruling class.

00:32:22.240 They just run lies.

00:32:25.700 And they run lies that are conducive to the functioning of the liberal establishment that runs our country.

00:32:31.680 So why are they doing it?

00:32:34.340 Why did this story come out?

00:32:36.300 Assuming that the court is right and the NPR reporting was wrong,

00:32:39.700 why are they doing this now?

00:32:40.920 I suspect that the establishment media and the liberal ruling class generally have a political goal in mind.

00:32:48.140 And I think they are trying to sow division on the court more than already exists because there is a very serious case coming down the pike.

00:32:58.580 This case is the Dobbs case.

00:33:00.580 This is why I'm in Washington, D.C. right now.

00:33:02.600 You may have noticed that my set has changed.

00:33:05.160 I'm not in Nashville.

00:33:06.220 I'm here in D.C. for the March for Life, for the Pro-Life Summit,

00:33:11.060 for all of this pro-life advocacy that has never been more important.

00:33:16.280 Because this year there is a case that has already been heard, actually, by the Supreme Court,

00:33:22.900 and that they're going to decide on to determine whether or not to overturn Roe v. Wade.

00:33:27.620 The ruling class does not like that very much.

00:33:30.980 And so I suspect they're trying to sow division on the court.

00:33:35.600 The takeaway here actually has nothing to do with life or any particular court decision.

00:33:42.120 It's that the corporate press act in unison.

00:33:46.540 You'll notice they'll change their talking points.

00:33:49.820 We heard for so long the vaccines are super-duper effective.

00:33:53.340 They do stop infection.

00:33:54.860 They do stop transmission.

00:33:55.900 We've got to lock down.

00:33:57.740 We've got to wear 10 masks.

00:33:58.880 We can't go back to work.

00:33:59.760 And then all of a sudden, about two weeks ago, it all shifted.

00:34:03.500 Well, Omicron might be here forever.

00:34:06.060 Well, we might not be able to avoid it.

00:34:07.620 Well, we can't stay locked down indefinitely.

00:34:09.900 Well, maybe we should only quarantine five days.

00:34:11.900 And it all turned on a dime.

00:34:14.060 That's the way they function because they're not speaking truth to power.

00:34:17.580 They are a bullhorn for the powerful.

00:34:20.860 You know what I love about our partnership with Helix Sleep?

00:34:48.560 Speaking of this issue of life, terrible story coming out of California.

00:34:55.280 A UCLA grad student was stabbed to death at a furniture store by a relatively young man,

00:35:03.320 Sean LaValle Smith.

00:35:04.920 He stabbed Brianna Kupfer, who is only 24 years old.

00:35:09.560 Stabbed her to death last Thursday afternoon as she worked at the Croft House store on La Brea

00:35:15.060 Avenue in Los Angeles.

00:35:16.240 Very familiar with La Brea Avenue.

00:35:18.560 It's a nice furniture store.

00:35:21.180 She's a UCLA grad student in design.

00:35:23.620 She's been identified as the victim of this career criminal with a rap sheet that includes 0.53

00:35:28.660 charges of assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, assault on a police officer,

00:35:34.520 possession of a stolen vehicle, and other charges as well.

00:35:38.020 This guy's got a rap sheet a mile long.

00:35:42.640 If politicians had done their job and locked this criminal up, this young girl would be alive.

00:35:49.900 But because they didn't do their job, because they won't lock criminals up, she is dead.

00:35:54.800 Is this compassionate?

00:35:57.800 We are told that letting criminals off the hook for their crimes and letting them out of prison when they

00:36:02.320 do have to face consequences for their crimes is compassionate.

00:36:06.340 We are told that America has an over-incarceration problem, specifically with regard to black men.

00:36:13.340 So we've got to let the criminals out of prison.

00:36:14.780 Is that compassionate to this woman who's dead?

00:36:20.120 Is that compassionate to her family?

00:36:22.200 Is that compassionate to her co-workers? 0.60

00:36:24.540 To any other ordinary American worker who now is worried, has to fear for their lives if they're in a major city with a big crime problem?

00:36:32.180 Is that even compassionate to the guy?

00:36:35.840 The guy just killed this woman.

00:36:38.280 He, now I suspect, will finally go to prison.

00:36:41.480 He's done a terrible thing that has really destroyed his life.

00:36:45.000 Is that compassionate?

00:36:46.020 No, I don't think so.

00:36:47.100 Had he been thrown in the can for any of his other crimes, maybe he would have reformed.

00:36:52.880 But now he's not going to have that opportunity before he killed someone.

00:36:57.440 The Dems are pushing this stuff.

00:36:59.960 But the Republicans are going along with it.

00:37:03.180 Donald Trump.

00:37:04.300 Donald Trump is one of the most conservative Republicans to come along in my lifetime.

00:37:08.600 And Donald Trump pushed the jailbreak bill.

00:37:12.080 Donald Trump pushed the First Step Act to let criminals out of prison.

00:37:15.520 It was one of the biggest disagreements I ever had with the Trump administration.

00:37:21.180 Why are you doing that?

00:37:22.640 This issue of crime is one of the clearest areas of divergence between the American people and both major parties.

00:37:32.180 The American people want criminals locked up.

00:37:35.060 They don't want crime on their streets.

00:37:37.560 Democrats do want crime on the streets and Republicans all too often go along with it.

00:37:41.460 It's crime and immigration. 1.00

00:37:42.720 Those are the two big issues where the people, vast majority of the people, think one thing.

00:37:47.680 And both major parties think something completely different.

00:37:50.920 The Democrats want to let these criminals out of prison, with one exception.

00:37:56.580 They want to let everybody out of prison.

00:37:58.100 There's one person they want to put into prison.

00:38:00.280 Do you know who that is?

00:38:02.060 Donald Trump.

00:38:02.760 It would be Donald Trump.

00:38:03.640 Senate Democrats are now reportedly trying to lock up Donald Trump.

00:38:08.520 Why?

00:38:08.900 I don't know.

00:38:09.420 I can't possibly tell you.

00:38:10.860 According to The Hill, given the weight of public evidence, Democrat lawmakers want Trump committed,

00:38:17.060 believe that Trump committed federal crimes and want him locked up for it.

00:38:20.400 Quote, but Senate Democrats also warn that Attorney General Merrick Garland needs to proceed cautiously.

00:38:25.900 Any prosecution that fails to convict Trump risks becoming a disaster and could vindicate Trump,

00:38:31.880 just as the inconclusive report by former special counsel Robert Mueller's team. 0.82

00:38:36.480 These people are shameless.

00:38:38.020 The inconclusive report. 0.93

00:38:39.960 Mueller was this close to getting Trump for being a secret KGB spy.

00:38:44.560 They were so close.

00:38:45.840 They based the investigation on that completely discredited dossier that was funded by Hillary Clinton, 0.51

00:38:50.680 and it turned out to be complete bunk.

00:38:52.220 But they were close, and it was inconclusive.

00:38:54.100 Anyway, moving on, moving on.

00:38:56.480 Trump was exonerated.

00:38:57.540 Trump was vindicated there.

00:38:59.240 So if the Democrats don't proceed cautiously, then Donald Trump might claim to be exonerated even when he's not for his crimes.

00:39:10.240 Well, crimes.

00:39:12.960 The best crime that they can name is that Donald Trump led an insurrection, a threat to our democracy,

00:39:19.340 which doesn't really mean democracy because even his election was considered a threat to democracy.

00:39:24.660 Any time a Republican wins an election, it's called a threat to democracy.

00:39:27.960 And he encouraged the insurrection.

00:39:31.900 Of course, he didn't.

00:39:32.860 He said, be peaceful.

00:39:34.160 Don't do anything bad.

00:39:35.620 When people started to get a little rowdy at the Capitol, he said, go home, stop it, be peaceful.

00:39:39.760 And the Democrats want to lock him up for it.

00:39:43.000 I do not think this is a very good idea.

00:39:44.960 Not only because I like Donald Trump and don't think he committed any crimes worthy of sending him to prison,

00:39:51.820 but also because I don't think we should prosecute our former presidents, our politicians, our failed candidates in some cases.

00:40:00.520 I know we all chanted lock her up and it was a lot of fun.

00:40:03.360 And we all loved that moment in the debate where Hillary Clinton said, I don't want to live in Donald Trump's America.

00:40:09.680 And Trump had that great zinger and he said, yeah, because you'd be in jail.

00:40:13.020 And everyone just loved it and it was so boss and he was obviously a very funny showman.

00:40:18.540 But I don't think a lot of people really want to live in a world where once you lose power in America, you just go to prison.

00:40:26.420 Where we have our former presidents wearing orange jumpsuits.

00:40:29.140 I don't want to live in that culture.

00:40:31.920 That is a symptom of a dying culture.

00:40:35.060 That's a symptom of a political order, our democracy that's not functioning as it should.

00:40:41.800 And if the Democrats proceed on this, they should be very, very careful.

00:40:45.280 Because if they proceed on this, then we're going to throw their next guy in jail.

00:40:49.940 It's going to be hard to throw Joe Biden in jail.

00:40:52.140 That would seem to be a real abuse.

00:40:56.580 We're going to throw Kamala Harris in jail. 1.00

00:40:58.080 We're going to throw Pete Buttigieg.

00:40:59.340 I think that's the next one they want.

00:41:00.400 We're going to throw Pete Buttigieg in jail.

00:41:03.080 We're going to do it.

00:41:03.960 It's going to become just like impeachment.

00:41:05.600 Now, we just always impeach the president.

00:41:08.520 This is just what we do.

00:41:10.460 People's claim that this started with Bill Clinton.

00:41:14.760 To some degree, that might be fair.

00:41:17.700 Really, I think it goes back much further.

00:41:19.360 It goes back to the Democrats ousting Richard Nixon.

00:41:21.580 At least it goes back to that.

00:41:23.180 It's unfortunate because Senator Cruz, who I was just speaking with last night, Senator Cruz pointed out that the Republicans, if they retake the House, as it looks increasingly likely that they will, they very well might impeach Joe Biden.

00:41:40.640 Why?

00:41:40.920 I don't really think Joe Biden's committed an impeachable offense.

00:41:45.260 Maybe, maybe not.

00:41:46.220 I guess there's an argument to be made.

00:41:47.440 But I don't think that we should just impeach every president.

00:41:50.820 That's not what our framers and founders intended.

00:41:55.540 But if the Democrats are going to do it, we can't unilaterally disarm.

00:42:00.000 Same thing goes here.

00:42:01.820 And this is much more significant than mere impeachment.

00:42:04.340 They impeached Donald Trump twice.

00:42:05.480 No one really remembered it.

00:42:07.000 No one cared.

00:42:07.660 It didn't really matter.

00:42:08.420 If we're locking these people up, if you start this, Democrats, we're going to have to play that game, too.

00:42:16.900 And right now, if Joe Biden went to prison, I do not think there would be many tears in America.

00:42:21.860 There would be some tears of joy.

00:42:23.800 But I don't think there would be many tears because people think he's doing a terrible job.

00:42:27.300 Don't take my word for it.

00:42:28.760 Look at the polling.

00:42:30.120 There's a new poll out that shows that 40 percent, 4-0, of voters approve of Joe Biden's job performance.

00:42:40.160 That's according to Politico and Morning Consult.

00:42:42.720 That is a record low for the survey.

00:42:46.040 56 percent of respondents disapprove of Joe Biden's job performance.

00:42:51.260 Biden faces a 59 percent disapproval among independents, the group that he's got to sway over to his side.

00:42:58.100 But they were the ones, depending on your views of the 2020 election, they played an important role in Joe Biden ending up in the White House.

00:43:08.900 It's not just one poll.

00:43:10.400 I mean, you've heard these bad poll numbers again and again and again.

00:43:12.760 Real clear politics has a polling average.

00:43:15.080 They look at all the polls and they compile them together.

00:43:17.040 For the first time, Joe Biden's average approval rating is below 41 percent.

00:43:23.540 He's now at just 40, 4-0, 0.9 percent according to the RCP average.

00:43:28.740 Biden's average disapproval rating is well over 50 percent.

00:43:32.180 It's 53.3 percent, which means he's over 12 points underwater.

00:43:37.020 I think this is more about the media than Joe Biden.

00:43:42.540 I don't want to let Biden off the hook.

00:43:43.820 He's doing a terrible job.

00:43:44.880 He's probably the worst president in American history.

00:43:47.840 But I think it's more about the media.

00:43:51.460 Joe Biden doesn't believe anything.

00:43:53.700 I mentioned this yesterday with regard to Kamala Harris.

00:43:55.620 It's certainly true of Joe Biden, too.

00:43:57.320 He doesn't believe anything.

00:43:58.600 He wakes up in the morning.

00:43:59.580 He licks his index finger.

00:44:00.660 He puts it up in the air and he tries to figure out which way the wind is blowing.

00:44:03.900 When he thought it was helpful to his career to style himself a moderate, he did.

00:44:08.840 When he felt that it was conducive to his career to become a leftist, he did.

00:44:12.820 He just moves wherever the winds are.

00:44:15.880 And the winds that were being fanned by the establishment media, by big tech, by the whole

00:44:22.040 ruling class, were moving in the leftist direction.

00:44:24.640 So he ran as a leftist candidate and made a lot of leftist promises.

00:44:28.160 And now he can't get anything done that he wants to do.

00:44:31.500 And the media, even beyond the ideology of it all, the media said, if you elect Joe Biden,

00:44:37.140 he's going to stop coronavirus.

00:44:38.840 If you elect Joe Biden, we're going to go back to normal.

00:44:40.500 We're going to be rich.

00:44:41.160 The economy is going to be great.

00:44:42.340 We're going to have all of our rights.

00:44:44.120 Everything's going to be hunky-dory.

00:44:47.000 And then that didn't happen.

00:44:49.400 And now people are upset.

00:44:52.320 The left couldn't manage expectations.

00:44:55.160 And now people are very upset.

00:44:57.160 Joe Scarborough, who I actually ran into at a restaurant last night in Washington, D.C.

00:45:04.000 This is a very strange town.

00:45:05.060 You just run into all of these people and they all live here and they all know one another.

00:45:08.980 And Joe Scarborough, who's a former Republican congressman, turned liberal Democrat type on

00:45:14.920 MSNBC.

00:45:15.940 He is giving advice to the Democrats.

00:45:18.220 He's saying, stop running as these radical leftists.

00:45:21.840 You've got to run in a more moderate way.

00:45:24.120 The Democrats have 50 senators.

00:45:27.780 The Republicans have 50 senators.

00:45:30.140 One of the great mysteries, and I want Lemire to talk about this in a second, one of the

00:45:33.640 great mysteries for historians are going to look back and say, how is it that this guy

00:45:37.700 ran against a dozen or so progressives?

00:45:40.920 He was the only moderate.

00:45:42.840 He ran as a moderate.

00:45:44.240 He won as a moderate.

00:45:45.620 Every single progressive got rejected.

00:45:48.060 One, like those debates were crazy.

00:45:50.380 They were talking about re-implementing busing.

00:45:53.540 They were so far left.

00:45:55.800 They wanted to give health care to illegal immigrants.

00:45:59.320 Like it was so come across the border.

00:46:01.800 We'll give you health care.

00:46:02.840 It was so wildly out of the mainstream of where about 80 percent of Americans are.

00:46:08.620 Biden ran as a moderate.

00:46:10.200 Biden won as a moderate.

00:46:11.940 Biden decided and his people around him, I guess, decided that he was going to govern as

00:46:17.560 a leftist.

00:46:18.440 It has failed miserably.

00:46:20.960 Joe Scarborough is basically right here, but he doesn't understand why he's right.

00:46:26.540 He doesn't understand why Joe Biden is doing all of this.

00:46:29.180 He seems befuddled.

00:46:30.140 That's why he's yelling.

00:46:32.800 Joe Biden is a moderate.

00:46:35.020 Even today, Joe Biden is a moderate.

00:46:37.040 He's a moderate in his party.

00:46:38.740 Joe Biden is always a moderate in his party.

00:46:41.400 When his party is much more conservative, then he's a moderate in that party.

00:46:46.460 When the party is extremely radical and pushing socialism and pushing transgenderism and pushing 0.98

00:46:53.940 radical racial theories and all these things, then he's a moderate in that party, too.

00:46:57.700 He's not the most extreme leftist politician.

00:47:01.480 It just so happens that the left has moved the Overton window.

00:47:05.120 The left has moved their own party so far over that to be a moderate there is to be extremely

00:47:10.860 leftist by the standards of just a few years ago.

00:47:14.100 So the establishment liberals like Joe Scarborough, they realize, gosh, this isn't working.

00:47:19.640 What are we going to?

00:47:20.260 How did this happen?

00:47:22.140 It happens because liberalism is not stable.

00:47:26.040 It just keeps moving.

00:47:28.420 It just keeps moving toward the left.

00:47:33.060 It hates tradition.

00:47:34.600 It tears down statues.

00:47:35.820 It says everything that came before us was wrong and evil and unjust, and we've got to

00:47:39.000 remake the world anew using only our own unfettered reason.

00:47:42.240 And so it just keeps moving, and it can't stop itself.

00:47:46.440 Now there is a reaction against that.

00:47:48.960 You want to talk about radicalism up at America's hat, Canada.

00:47:53.380 Canada has taken the COVID lockdowns very, very seriously.

00:47:56.860 They're running a video right now that's gone viral around the internet of a woman interviewing

00:48:03.660 children about the unvaccinated and what the unvaccinated should have happened to them.

00:48:09.300 And the children say, they're to cast them out of society.

00:48:17.120 Are you vaccinated?

00:48:20.300 Yes, we're both vaccinated.

00:48:22.720 Are you in favor of a mandatory vaccine?

00:48:24.620 Yes.

00:48:27.500 It looks like I drilled them.

00:48:29.560 She says, yeah, you do drill.

00:48:31.160 What should happen to the unvaccinated? 1.00

00:48:35.080 What should happen when you encounter them?

00:48:36.720 The kid says, we should call the police.

00:48:38.440 If you don't have the vaccine, we're going to call the cops on you.

00:48:46.480 And you've just got to coerce them and bully them and push them and push them and push them

00:48:52.700 little by little until they get vaccinated.

00:48:57.640 Insane.

00:48:59.440 Callous. 0.99

00:49:00.580 And really ugly. 0.98

00:49:01.700 Obviously, what they're doing to children is really ugly.

00:49:03.360 I think parents are looking at that.

00:49:04.740 Not the most rock-ribbed right-wingers necessarily, but parents generally are looking at that and

00:49:10.060 saying, look, whatever political agenda and ideology is doing this to kids in this country,

00:49:17.400 indoctrinating them in this crazy way.

00:49:20.300 I'm out.

00:49:20.860 That's what you saw happen in Virginia with Glenn Youngkin.

00:49:23.660 That's what you're seeing in a lot of districts around America.

00:49:26.160 It's a revolt of the sane, normal people against the ruling class,

00:49:30.400 which is why Americans are shifting so rapidly toward the Republican Party,

00:49:35.100 which is why the Democrats are bewailing the grave threat to democracy.
