00:00:37.580 As Vladimir Putin prepares to invade Ukraine, it's more important than ever to show our enemies around the world

00:00:44.260 that the West is strong, united, and ready to fight for our position of global leadership.

00:00:51.260 Yes, it was embarrassing when a bunch of illiterate goat herders stole all our military gear and chased us out of Afghanistan last year. 1.00

00:01:00.320 And yes, it's not a great look that neither American political party reliably trusts the results of our elections.

00:01:09.040 And okay, fine, it is unfortunate that we no longer have a functioning national border and that violent crime is surging from coast to coast

00:01:16.940 and that our population is literally dying through drugs and suicide and sterility with no end in sight.

00:01:24.600 But, but, Putin should not mistake any of those problems for Western weakness.

00:01:31.940 No, sir, just look at our next generation of leaders.

00:01:36.780 I'm talking about the Ivy League, where over the weekend, a young swimmer performed dazzling, record-breaking, historic feats of athleticism

00:01:47.000 at the Women's Swimming and Diving Championships.

00:01:51.340 There, a young woman whose birth certificate reads Will Thomas won the 100-yard freestyle, the 200-yard freestyle, 0.54

00:02:01.160 and the 500-yard freestyle, setting five individual records and pushing all the other gals on Penn's 400 relay team to set a pool record.

00:02:12.540 Yes, just one look at Will Thomas' maidenly Adam's apple shimmering as she glided toward the finish line 0.99

00:02:22.280 should send a shiver down Vladimir Putin's spine.

00:02:25.380 The way that her hulking, feminine shoulders plowed through the water, easily overtaking the other young ladies, 0.99

00:02:33.380 should strike fear in the heart of Russia's leader.

00:02:37.040 The very words,

00:02:38.540 Our Civilization is Strong,

00:02:40.900 seemed to sing from Thomas' big, square, delicate jawline

00:02:46.320 as he took women's sports to new heights in the very heart of the American elite.

00:02:51.720 No. No, no.

00:02:54.800 Western civilization is not finished.

00:02:57.420 We're just transitioning.

00:02:59.540 I'm Michael Knowles.

00:03:00.300 This is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:03:08.020 Welcome back to the show.

00:03:10.200 My favorite comment on Friday is from OSU4MUL8R.

00:03:15.720 He says, 0.96

00:03:18.340 Damn, I wish John Wick were a trucker in Canada right now. 0.99

00:03:21.320 This is a good point. 0.99

00:03:22.180 Now that Justin Trudeau and the Ottawa government are threatening to kill the trucker's puppies,

00:03:28.700 that seems to have really fizzled the whole trucker protest.

00:03:31.580 If only there were a John Wick there, we might be able to defend freedom, tradition, our way of life.

00:03:37.020 But that doesn't seem to be happening anywhere.

00:03:39.000 It's not happening over in our own part of the world.

00:03:41.760 It's certainly not happening over in the east, over by Ukraine.

00:03:44.680 It's not good at all.

00:03:46.380 I mean, I really wish that we could clean up our political house.

00:03:50.340 The best I can do is clean up my own house.

00:05:20.640 Vladimir Putin must be shaking in his boots, don't you think?

00:05:24.240 Why?

00:05:25.080 Why, oh, why would Vladimir Putin invade Ukraine now when we have a West that has crime surging 0.83

00:05:31.780 everywhere?

00:05:32.400 We're all at each other's throats.

00:05:33.880 We can't tell the difference between men and women. 1.00

00:05:35.960 And the president of the United States doesn't know what day it is.

00:05:38.860 Golly, can you believe that he would aggress?

00:05:41.600 Can you imagine that?

00:05:42.900 It's so shocking.

00:05:44.100 But the situation in Ukraine is accelerating rapidly.

00:05:50.580 This is no longer just Western media propaganda.

00:05:53.780 Vladimir Putin actually is taking advantage now.

00:05:56.060 He gave a very important speech.

00:05:57.820 It's one of the most profound speeches.

00:06:01.720 One of the, in terms of just a pure political lesson, it's one of the most interesting speeches

00:06:07.500 of this century.

00:06:10.820 He gave that yesterday.

00:06:12.320 He is clearly preparing to take the country.

00:06:14.340 This gives Donald Trump a distinction.

00:06:17.920 This gives Donald Trump the distinction of being the only president among the four most recent

00:06:24.360 presidents on whose watch Vladimir Putin did not try to conquer another country.

00:06:31.020 So you had George W. Bush.

00:06:32.400 What happens?

00:06:33.020 Vladimir Putin invades Georgia.

00:06:34.360 And Bush actually, to his credit, repelled it.

00:06:36.980 Then you had Obama.

00:06:38.360 Under Obama's watch, Putin invaded Crimea.

00:06:41.040 Obama did not repel it.

00:06:42.240 So Putin just stayed in Crimea.

00:06:43.780 Then you had Trump.

00:06:46.100 And pretty much everything just stayed the same.

00:06:48.200 And Putin didn't try to go any further.

00:06:50.400 Now you have Biden.

00:06:51.500 And what happens?

00:06:52.500 Vladimir Putin has 150,000 troops on the border.

00:06:55.960 He gave this speech yesterday to give the pretext for war in Ukraine.

00:06:59.820 It looks like he's going to try to, if he's not going to take down the whole country,

00:07:02.240 he's going to certainly take big swaths of the country.

00:07:05.420 Why?

00:07:06.040 Why is Putin doing this?

00:07:07.200 This is a place where the American media, the American regime, certainly the left,

00:07:13.360 and even parts of the right are making a huge mistake.

00:07:17.720 They're not understanding the enemy.

00:07:20.260 When you want to talk about geopolitics, when you want to talk about politics at all,

00:07:25.060 it is very important to understand your enemy, your enemy's motivations, your enemy's plan,

00:07:31.340 your enemy's strategy, the way your enemy views himself. 0.84

00:07:36.040 If you don't understand that, if you're just going to say, well, he's crazy. 1.00

00:07:40.560 He's just a crazy person. 0.93

00:07:42.620 Then you are putting yourself at a huge disadvantage. 0.97

00:07:45.680 The American left does this to the American right in many ways. 0.99

00:07:48.160 They say, oh, you pro-lifers, you're just crazy. 0.99

00:07:50.680 You don't have any logical reasons for not wanting to kill a bunch of babies. 1.00

00:07:54.260 You're just crazy. 1.00

00:07:55.200 You're sexist. 1.00

00:07:56.540 You're racist. 1.00

00:07:58.000 The reason that you don't want to let all the criminals out of jail, 0.99

00:08:00.360 it's because you're racist, right?

00:08:02.640 And that's why the left does not understand the right in America at all. 0.62

00:08:05.500 And it's why recently the right has taken a great deal of advantage.

00:08:08.420 Well, the same thing is true here for Russia.

00:08:10.580 What is Russia doing in Ukraine? 0.99

00:08:13.120 It's not as simple as Putin is a madman. 0.98

00:08:16.320 He's Hitler 2.0. 0.99

00:08:17.980 He just wants to conquer everything.

00:08:19.440 It's really, it's not that simple.

00:08:21.400 It's much more complicated.

00:08:23.180 This is why I can't get into the Western rhetoric of,

00:08:26.020 we must defend our great NATO ally, Ukraine.

00:08:29.660 Ukraine, Ukraine's not in NATO first.

00:08:31.020 It's not a member country of NATO, first of all.

00:08:33.160 Since when has Ukraine been our great ally?

00:08:35.500 I don't, I'm not, I couldn't tell you.

00:08:38.100 Since, since when does freedom in the West hinge on Ukraine? 0.62

00:08:42.080 Never.

00:08:42.640 Ukraine is one of the most conquered countries in the history of the world.

00:08:45.320 It's been an independent nation, sort of, for about five minutes.

00:08:48.360 So I'm not saying that we should let Putin roll the tanks in.

00:08:51.180 But on the other side of that, no, I don't think freedom and the Western way of life hinges on the fate of Ukraine. 0.57

00:08:57.440 If it did, we would have lost freedom here a long, long time ago.

00:09:00.700 What is this about?

00:09:02.460 Well, in no small part, it's about two things.

00:09:05.760 One is aggressive.

00:09:06.660 One is defensive.

00:09:07.720 Vladimir Putin wants to recreate something akin to historical Russia.

00:09:11.860 Whether you call that the Soviet Union, whether you call that the Tsarist Russian Empire, whatever.

00:09:16.560 He wants Russia to be bigger and more powerful than it is today.

00:09:21.420 Vladimir Putin famously said that the dissolution of the Soviet Union in the late 1980s and early 1990s was the greatest geopolitical tragedy, catastrophe of the 20th century.

00:09:32.940 So he wants to make Russia bigger and more powerful.

00:09:35.880 Sure.

00:09:36.240 There's a defensive part here, too, though, which is that Vladimir Putin doesn't want the West going all the way up to his borders.

00:09:42.380 Vladimir Putin specifically doesn't want NATO to expand eastward into the traditional Russian sphere of influence.

00:09:49.240 And maybe we in the West want NATO to expanding it bigger and bigger and bigger.

00:09:53.560 But there were plenty of very strong anti-communist, anti-Russia voices who said for decades that this is a really bad idea.

00:10:00.920 I've got an article here from The New York Times.

00:10:02.880 This is from 1997.

00:10:04.820 It's called A Fateful Error.

00:10:07.200 This is written by George Kennan.

00:10:08.840 For those of you who remember your 8th or 9th grade history class, George Kennan wrote the X telegram, the long telegram in which he called out the Soviet Union, warned of the threats of the Soviet Union.

00:10:20.420 He's the author of the strategy of containment, the main strategy of the Cold War.

00:10:25.560 And George Kennan had this to say about what happens to NATO after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

00:10:33.960 The view is that expanding NATO would be the most fateful error of American policy in the entire post-Cold War era.

00:10:42.720 Such a decision may be expected to inflame the nationalistic, anti-Western, and militaristic tendencies in Russian opinion,

00:10:50.100 to have an adverse effect on the development of Russian democracy, to restore the atmosphere of the Cold War to East-West relations,

00:10:56.980 and to impel Russian foreign policy in directions decidedly not to our liking.

00:11:01.640 And last but not least, it might make it much more difficult, if not impossible, to secure the Russian Duma's ratification of the START II agreement and to achieve further reductions of nuclear weaponry.

00:11:11.540 He's saying if you expand NATO, some hawks in America think that they're going to put the West in a much better position vis-a-vis Russia.

00:11:19.560 Actually, it will have the opposite effect.

00:11:21.240 Actually, Russia's going to view that as a major aggression, and they're going to get much more militaristic in response.

00:11:26.340 That's exactly what happened.

00:11:28.200 So, why?

00:11:29.200 Why would this all be happening now?

00:11:33.180 Why would Russia expect, okay, sure, George Kennan and some other, Pat Moynihan, lots of other strong voices on the Cold War,

00:11:41.060 they were saying don't expand NATO, but why should Russia expect that that's going to be the national policy?

00:11:45.540 Well, Der Spiegel, the German newspaper, just dug this up.

00:11:48.620 Der Spiegel just dug up a document from 1991 in which the West promised Russia that they would not expand NATO eastward.

00:11:56.340 So, this was, if not official policy, this was the understanding at the collapse of the Soviet Union.

00:12:04.740 All of which is to say, the complication here, the situation here rather, is much more complicated than anybody is really giving it credit for.

00:12:15.300 Certainly Putin, who's just making his case for war, and even the West.

00:12:19.020 And not every single historical event is Hitler invading Czechoslovakia.

00:12:25.100 Not every single world leader that we don't like is Adolf Hitler.

00:12:28.520 Not every single epoch that we can live through is 1930s or 1940s Germany, okay?

00:12:34.060 And there are complications here.

00:12:35.160 You think about the Cuban Missile Crisis.

00:12:36.700 Part of the reason we got a Cuban Missile Crisis is because the United States botched their policy vis-à-vis the Soviet Union in Cuba and in Turkey, putting missiles there.

00:12:44.340 It's much, much more complicated.

00:12:46.100 So, for those who do want to preserve the peace, it's going to take a lot more than just bang, bang, bang, Putin bad, NATO good, expand, expand, expand.

00:12:53.700 You're going to have to recognize some of the legitimate questions that our enemies have and try to answer those with incentives rather than merely saying, rah, rah, let's go to war in Ukraine.

00:13:05.000 Now, when you want complicated views of all sorts of questions, I would strongly recommend you tune into the Jordan Harbinger Show.

00:14:17.880 Franklin Graham, the son of the evangelical preacher Billy Graham, got into a lot of trouble.

00:14:25.160 He got into a lot of trouble over this Putin-Russia issue for one tweet.

00:14:30.460 He said, pray for President Putin today. This may sound like a strange request, but we need to pray that God would work in his heart so that war could be avoided at all cost.

00:14:40.500 May God give wisdom to the leaders involved in these talks and negotiations as well as those advising them.

00:14:48.140 And what do you think happened? It was the same old thing.

00:14:49.960 Same old thing we've heard from the left for five years now. 0.63

00:14:52.980 He, the right wing in America, they're Russia files, they're Putin stooges.

00:14:59.040 Can you believe this Christian preacher is telling his congregation to pray for their enemies?

00:15:06.480 Where would he get this crazy idea?

00:15:08.740 He probably got it out of a KGB handbook or he got it out of the Holy Gospel, right? 0.83

00:15:13.120 That's where these people, these people criticizing Franklin Graham and American conservatives and Christians generally are demonstrating that they do not know the first thing, even the most basic thing about Christianity.

00:15:33.760 One of the most basic aspects of Christianity is that we pray for our enemies.

00:15:40.300 We pray for those who persecute us.

00:15:44.120 This is, we get this from the mouth of Christ himself.

00:15:48.480 But our critics, our opponents, our enemies even, they don't get it.

00:15:56.220 I guess this is the theme that I'm seeing when I look at the Ivy League and that hulking dude setting all these new women's records and I look at the situation in Ukraine right now and I look at domestic politics in the United States and the battle between the left and the right. 0.99

00:16:10.860 My main takeaway is, man, when did we get this dumb? 0.96

00:16:15.320 I don't mean it as a perennial throw your hands in the air. 1.00

00:16:18.140 These politicians are so stupid. 1.00

00:16:19.480 I mean it in a really technical, measurable way. 1.00

00:16:21.980 We know much less today than we knew 50, 60 years ago.

00:16:27.120 I know that we all have advanced degrees from all different colleges and we've all got $200,000 worth of student loans.

00:16:33.460 So on paper, it seems like we're much better educated.

00:16:35.920 We're not.

00:16:36.620 We don't know anything. 1.00

00:16:37.820 We are much, much more ignorant, much stupider today than past generations. 1.00

00:16:44.140 We don't even know that men and women are different. 1.00

00:16:46.260 We don't know that.

00:16:47.000 And if you do have an inkling that that is the case, you're not allowed to say it.

00:16:50.320 That's official policy.

00:16:51.980 Certainly from our cultural ministers, in some cases from the government.

00:16:56.120 We don't know anything.

00:16:57.580 We have no idea what Russia's relationship to Ukraine is.

00:17:00.480 We have no idea what Christianity means.

00:17:03.000 I'm saying we broadly as America and frankly even as the West.

00:17:07.220 We have no idea the foundation on which we've built our civilization.

00:17:11.700 We just know a lot less.

00:17:13.900 And this puts us in a really bad position, okay?

00:17:17.140 Ignorance is a big political liability.

00:17:19.720 When I read that Putin speech, I thought, man, this is a statesman.

00:17:23.480 I'm not saying he's a good statesman.

00:17:25.300 I'm not saying he's a great guy. 0.99

00:17:27.000 He's probably a no good, dirty, rotten KGB fellow. 0.92

00:17:29.720 He's done some good things in Russia, by the way. 0.96

00:17:31.460 He's supported Christians in Russia, more than you can say, frankly, for the West.

00:17:35.600 He has helped his country.

00:17:38.140 He has secured his borders.

00:17:39.540 He has reversed the decline in birth rates.

00:17:41.840 He's actually done some good things for the Russian people.

00:17:44.160 He still hates the West.

00:17:46.180 There's no question about that.

00:17:47.380 So I'm not saying he's a good guy.

00:17:49.720 But I'm saying he's a very effective statesman.

00:17:53.040 He's a competent statesman. 0.92

00:17:54.660 He's not ignorant like our statesman. 0.79

00:17:58.600 He's not even all that haughty like our statesman. 0.96

00:18:01.240 He's very calculating.

00:18:03.080 He's very measured.

00:18:04.220 There's a reason why Vladimir Putin did not go and invade any other countries when Trump was president.

00:18:09.660 It's because he didn't know what Trump would do, and he had an inkling that Trump, especially because Trump had cultivated this unpredictable kind of foreign policy.

00:18:18.860 Vladimir Putin said, you know, I don't think, maybe I'm not going to do that.

00:18:21.880 With Obama, he knew that Obama was going to let him take the countries.

00:18:25.180 Obama told him.

00:18:26.080 Obama told him.

00:18:27.120 He was caught on a hot mic speaking to Vladimir Putin's number two, Dmitry Medvedev.

00:18:32.380 He was caught on an open mic at a public conference in which he said, listen, I'm going to have a little bit more flexibility after my next election.

00:18:39.980 2012 was my last election.

00:18:41.240 I'm going to have a little more flexibility after that.

00:18:43.100 And Dmitry Medvedev, like a cartoon villain, Boris and Natasha out of Rocky and Bullwinkle, he says, I will transmit this information to Vladimir.

00:18:51.980 And what happens?

00:18:54.200 Putin invades Ukraine, and there's no problem from the Obama administration.

00:18:58.040 Then nothing from Trump.

00:18:59.040 Then we get to Biden, and it happens again.

00:19:02.640 Putin is a very shrewd guy.

00:19:04.540 He knows his history.

00:19:05.820 This speech that he gave, giving the pretext for war, was just a rundown of Russian history from the Bolshevik revolution to the present. 0.92

00:19:15.120 I'm not sure it was the fairest telling of it, but his critics can't point out any of the flaws because they don't know a damn thing.

00:19:21.500 Ignorance is a major political liability, and ignorance is the theme of the day here in the West. 0.84

00:19:28.760 Do you want to talk about ignorance?

00:19:29.780 Oh my gosh, this is so embarrassing.

00:19:31.460 There's a French communist presidential candidate.

00:19:35.940 He's not doing very well in the polls.

00:19:37.380 He's got something like 4% of the vote.

00:19:39.280 So he's not going to become the president of France.

00:19:41.280 But still, he's a presidential candidate in France.

00:19:43.820 Fabien Roussel, who is campaigning on a platform of abolishing homework.

00:19:50.500 Yes.

00:19:52.100 Yes, Mr. Roussel says, comrade Roussel says, if I become president of the republic, all homework will be done at school and not at home.

00:20:00.300 On the eve of school holidays, I believe that I am not alone in thinking this would be a good thing.

00:20:05.140 You will be free, the candidate says.

00:20:07.500 You will be able to play sports.

00:20:11.180 You will be able to go to the theater.

00:20:13.580 You can go see your friends.

00:20:16.140 You can see your parents.

00:20:18.240 Oh, you will be free when I get rid of your homework.

00:20:21.080 Yeah, yeah.

00:20:24.500 It seems radical.

00:20:25.740 It seems crazy.

00:20:26.660 Y'all, leave it to the French. 1.00

00:20:27.720 Leave it to the communist French to say this.

00:20:29.520 This is exactly what Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare 10 years ago, more than 10 years ago now.

00:20:36.460 Remember, she said, the problem with health care right now is you need to have a job.

00:20:40.720 But when we decouple health care from working, then you don't need to have a job.

00:20:46.120 Then you're free.

00:20:47.700 Then you're free to go become a poet.

00:20:49.840 You're free to be a painter.

00:20:51.460 You don't need to worry about your health care.

00:20:52.840 You can just pursue all those things.

00:20:55.420 It's the exact same thing here.

00:20:56.720 You can go play with your friends.

00:20:57.940 Okay, I've got news for Nancy Pelosi and this French communist politician.

00:21:04.800 Most people are not poets.

00:21:07.160 Most poetry is really, really bad.

00:21:09.760 Most paintings are not good.

00:21:12.180 During COVID, I took up painting.

00:21:13.760 I enjoy it.

00:21:14.160 It's a fun little hobby.

00:21:15.280 I took it up in my little free time.

00:21:17.960 I'm not a good painter.

00:21:19.420 I wish I were, but I'm not.

00:21:21.560 Most people should be working.

00:21:25.140 Actually, all of us should be working.

00:21:26.420 We are made to be productive, okay?

00:21:29.580 When we're not, we atrophy and we go crazy.

00:21:32.140 But this is the freedom that the left is promising you.

00:21:35.040 Sometimes the American right simplifies things too much.

00:21:38.340 We say that the difference between the way the left talks about freedom and the way the right talks about freedom is that the right talks about freedom from things.

00:21:47.160 Freedom from coercion, freedom from tyranny, freedom from this, from that.

00:21:51.780 And the left talks about positive freedoms.

00:21:54.060 They talk about freedom to healthcare, freedom to Obama phones, freedom to crack pipes if you're in the Biden administration, right?

00:22:01.120 And that's the big difference.

00:22:02.160 But no, the left talks about negative freedoms too.

00:22:06.040 The left says you've got to be free from work.

00:22:09.080 You've got to be free from having to hold down a job.

00:22:12.260 You've got to be free from your homework, as they say now in France.

00:22:14.980 You've got to be free from all of these things, and then you can truly be free.

00:22:19.280 But that's not the way it works.

00:22:22.640 It gets down to this fundamental misunderstanding of freedom that we've been talking about on this show since I came out with my book, Speechless, Controlling Words, Controlling Minds, which became a number one national bestseller because of all of you buying it, which I appreciate.

00:22:32.580 The issue here is that the left thinks that freedom means just doing whatever you want whenever you want to do it.

00:22:40.840 The left thinks that freedom is kids getting to go play Xbox when they get home instead of having to cultivate their minds and be productive.

00:22:49.420 That's not freedom.

00:22:51.580 The crack pipes from the Biden administration proved this a couple weeks ago.

00:22:55.380 So sitting around smoking crack, sitting around just indulging your own appetites, indulging your basest appetites, and not cultivating your higher, more rational will, that's not freedom.

00:23:06.920 Freedom is noble.

00:23:08.220 Freedom requires duty.

00:23:09.580 Freedom requires a correspondence with reality.

00:23:11.460 When a dude pretends that he's a woman and beats all the chicks on the Penn swim team in the entire Ivy League, that's not freedom.

00:23:18.300 That's delusion.

00:23:19.520 That's the opposite.

00:23:20.340 That's slavery to fantasy.

00:23:22.860 Freedom is when we accept reality.

00:23:24.680 We live in accordance with reality, and we flourish by cultivating the virtues.

00:23:29.960 We used to know that.

00:23:31.500 This isn't some radical point of view. 1.00

00:23:33.460 Everyone agreed on this until about 50 years ago, and then our culture got really, really stupid. 0.99

00:23:38.680 Leftist radicals took over the institutions of power. 0.99

00:23:41.980 They specifically went after education, and they hollowed it out.

00:23:45.320 They hollowed out the education that you are getting today, whether you're talking about elementary school, high school, university, certainly.

00:23:53.020 The education is not comparable to what people got 50, 60 years ago.

00:23:57.560 You don't know Latin.

00:23:59.460 You don't know Greek. 0.98

00:24:00.200 You don't know a damn thing about philosophy. 0.95

00:24:01.880 We don't even treat philosophy like it's real anymore, like it's the best way of living, like it's something that can tell you what's true and false and good and bad. 0.54

00:24:08.740 We just treat it as some weird historical fact.

00:24:11.260 Oh, isn't it?

00:24:11.700 This is what the Greeks thought about morality.

00:24:13.620 No one cares what the Greeks thought about morality.

00:24:15.660 I want to know what's true.

00:24:16.700 But instead of that, instead of being given a true, rigorous, philosophical, liberal education, you're being taught that white people are evil because of the color of their skin, and that men are actually women. 0.99

00:24:26.120 And we're dumb, and it's weakening us, and it's no surprise that our enemies are taking advantage. 0.98

00:24:32.780 It's enough to get your blood flowing, get you really, really tense. 0.94

00:26:07.300 Also, America is under attack.

00:26:10.720 The threat is coming from within.

00:26:13.740 That's why we are exposing just who is destroying American institutions and why.

00:26:17.540 There are a lot of answers to this question.

00:26:18.920 One of them in particular will be shown on this Daily Wire series, The Enemy Within.

00:26:22.980 It began streaming exclusively at the Daily Wire last week and features acclaimed journalist and expert in national threats, Lee Smith, as he uncovers a political coup orchestrated by America's ruling elites to generate their own wealth and power at the expense of the American people's safety and freedom.

00:26:38.600 Check out the trailer.

00:26:39.460 What if everything we think we know about our leaders, our society, and our relations with the rest of the world is wrong?

00:26:47.980 America is facing two major challenges.

00:26:55.320 One is the Chinese Communist Party.

00:26:57.560 However, the most significant threat comes from within.

00:27:01.400 You're trying to obscure responsibility for four million people dying around the world.

00:27:06.360 Senator Paul, you do not know what you are talking about.

00:27:09.620 We've already seen evidence of how the elites want to run the United States.

00:27:15.240 They're modeling themselves after Chinese autocracy. 0.98

00:27:18.480 For over a decade, the People's Republic of China has stood publicly accused of acts of cruelty and wickedness that match the cruelty and wickedness of many evil torturers and executioners.

00:27:36.060 Diane Feinstein had a Chinese spy as her driver for 20 years.

00:27:42.740 We're not talking about one person infiltrating senior levels at the CIA or the White House.

00:27:49.280 We're talking about an entire elite class throughout the political, corporate, academic, cultural, and media establishment.

00:27:58.300 My name is Lee Smith.

00:27:59.700 I've been a journalist for more than 30 years.

00:28:02.580 This is the most astonishing espionage and infiltration operation in history.

00:28:09.000 What you're going to see in this series will shock you.

00:28:13.880 This is The Enemy Within.

00:28:16.380 The Enemy Within is streaming now exclusively at The Daily Wire.

00:28:28.760 So if you're not a member, now is the time to change that.

00:28:31.340 Head on over to dailywire.com slash subscribe to join us today.

00:28:34.420 Also, The Daily Wire has started publishing our own publishing wing.

00:28:38.120 We've started publishing our own publishing.

00:28:39.280 Can you imagine that?

00:28:39.820 It's called DW Books.

00:28:40.720 We're proud to be publishing two books that are actively fighting the left's monopoly on storytelling.

00:28:45.280 The first is 12 Seconds in the Dark by Sergeant Mattingly.

00:28:48.640 The book is the true story of what really happened the night of the Breonna Taylor shooting.

00:28:53.100 And the second is Fiery but Mostly Peaceful by Julio Rosas,

00:28:56.240 who pulls back the curtain and sets the record straight on BLM riots that broke out across the country in 2020.

00:29:02.380 Rosas, who is reporting from the ground, gives his firsthand experience at the riots.

00:29:06.920 I cannot wait for you to hear their stories.

00:29:08.660 Both are available for pre-order right now on Amazon or anywhere you buy books online.

00:29:13.020 We'll be right back with a lot more.

00:29:15.280 Speaking of our ruling class, speaking of espionage, speaking of corruptions at the highest levels

00:29:34.600 of power in our society, Jeffrey Epstein's pimp, Jean-Luc Brunel, got suicided over the weekend.

00:29:43.660 Yes, he did. He got suicided real, real good. He couldn't have gotten suicided any better if he

00:29:49.780 had dirt on the Clintons. Oh, wait, he did have dirt on the Clintons. I'm not saying,

00:29:54.220 I'm not saying the Clintons had anything to do with it. I am told there were pant,

00:29:59.920 there was a suspicious looking man in a pantsuit walking around the jail cell where Brunel was

00:30:03.700 being held. But I don't know. Who knows? Who knows? Actually, we don't know who was around the

00:30:06.380 jail cell because there were no cameras. Whoopsie-daisy. Jean-Luc Brunel, who was,

00:30:10.780 he was this modeling agent who really just effectively acted as a pimp shuttling girls

00:30:15.220 to Jeffrey Epstein. He would, one time he sent Jeffrey Epstein three 12-year-old girls from France

00:30:19.520 because they were poor and the families needed the money. And then apparently the girls were the 1.00

00:30:23.600 entertainment for one of Epstein's parties. This guy was held in a jail cell because of

00:30:30.800 accusations of rape, because of all these sorts of issues. And he had allegedly attempted suicide

00:30:36.860 multiple times. Okay. So he, there was a precedent here for maybe he's going to eventually kill

00:30:42.600 himself. But for some reason, he wasn't on suicide watch. That's weird. And they had, you know, guards

00:30:49.760 walking by doing checks, making sure he was okay. But whoopsie-daisy, I guess, I guess the guards just

00:30:56.360 weren't there when he killed himself. And for whatever reason, there weren't any cameras outside the

00:31:01.140 cell. And, uh, well, oh, shucks. There, there goes that. Epstein committed suicide, allegedly.

00:31:09.860 Jean-Luc Brunel committed suicide, allegedly. Ghislaine Maxwell prosecuted. And as part of the

00:31:15.460 prosecution agreement, they're never going to open up that black book to give us all the details

00:31:21.140 on all the very powerful global, specifically Western leaders who were involved in Jeffrey Epstein's

00:31:29.280 organization. Where did Epstein get all his money? We have no idea. Did Epstein have ties to foreign

00:31:36.500 intelligence? Certainly seems like he did. Ghislaine Maxwell's father, Robert Maxwell, was a well-known

00:31:41.940 intelligence operative for at least one or two countries, maybe, maybe more than that, maybe

00:31:48.320 three countries even. So the whole thing is a little weird. Was there state backing in the Epstein

00:31:54.620 operation? What, what took, we, we know that when Epstein was, was being prosecuted the first time,

00:32:01.840 the U.S. attorney at the time was told by, this was Alex Acosta, right? Who was then up for labor

00:32:07.880 secretary under Trump. He was told, uh, no, uh, watch out about this guy. He belongs to intelligence.

00:32:16.180 It's Acosta's own words. That's kind of weird. And then whoopsie daisy, the main kingpin behind this

00:32:24.560 suicided. The pimp funneling the girls suicided. Ghislaine Maxwell, I guess she's alive, but doesn't

00:32:31.780 look like she's going to be saying very much of anything. Nobody believes this. Does it? Nobody

00:32:37.720 believes that Jean-Luc Brunel and Jeffrey Epstein just so happened to accidentally be allowed to commit

00:32:45.900 suicide and whoops, the cameras broke and whoops, the guards weren't there and oopsie daisy. They

00:32:50.560 weren't on suicide watch and oh, well, okay, moving on. No one believes this. Okay. We have very little

00:32:58.540 faith left in our institutions in the West because those institutions have really been hollowed out

00:33:04.280 in particular over the last 50 years, but we especially don't have any faith in our intelligence

00:33:09.940 agencies. This is why, by the way, when our intelligence apparatus is trying to sell us a war with Russia

00:33:14.340 over Ukraine, this is why people don't want to do it. I think this is a major reason why we are not

00:33:20.120 eager to go defend the sacred oligarchy of the Ukrainians in the name of freedom or whatever is

00:33:26.620 because we don't trust the intelligence agencies. We don't trust the state department. We don't trust

00:33:31.180 the deep state because the deep state does a lot of shady stuff like this. Okay. They're involved with

00:33:36.480 people like Epstein, according to US attorneys in America, and we don't get the full story.

00:33:42.760 And when we do get the story about what the IC is up to, it seems to be pretty bad stuff like trying

00:33:48.600 to, like spying on Donald Trump as a candidate, spying, trying to undermine his presidency based

00:33:54.160 on complete nonsense, colluding with the Democrats, colluding with Russia, actually, ironically.

00:33:58.920 So we don't believe them. Okay. You want, I'll give you an example closer to home on this.

00:34:03.780 The CDC right now has a lot of data on COVID. Of course, they've been collecting data constantly

00:34:10.040 for the past two years, more than two years, but they're not releasing all of that data. They're

00:34:14.960 only publishing some of the data. They're cherry picking what data they want to publish. The New

00:34:19.900 York Times is reporting this. According to the New York Times, the CDC has been leaving out important

00:34:24.580 data about the effectiveness of boosters in adults under the age of 65. They're only recently beginning

00:34:31.740 to provide certain other data, including wastewater data. Why? Well, in particular, this is according to

00:34:37.480 the Times, the CDC published the first significant data on the effectiveness of boosters in adults

00:34:43.340 younger than 65, two weeks ago. And it left out the data for 18 to 49 year olds, the group least

00:34:48.960 likely to benefit from extra shots because the first two doses already left them well protected or

00:34:53.840 because the additional shots don't matter. And the younger people are, are much less likely to face

00:34:58.940 serious complications from COVID. Why are they leaving this? It doesn't take a genius. You don't need,

00:35:04.220 you don't need a whole lot of brain cells to rub together to know why they're leaving. They're

00:35:08.360 leaving this out because it doesn't work for their narrative. Kristen Nordland, who's a spokesman for

00:35:13.080 the CDC, said the agency has been slow to release these data, quote, because basically at the end of

00:35:18.200 the day, it's not yet ready for prime time. She said the agency's priority when gathering any data

00:35:23.100 is to ensure that it's accurate and actionable and they don't want the information to be

00:35:29.400 misinterpreted. Misinterpreted, meaning they don't want the information to undercut their narrative.

00:35:36.720 Information is power. That is always true, but it is especially true today because we live in the

00:35:43.540 information age. Since the dawn of modern computing, certainly since the dawn of the internet,

00:35:49.120 information, data is power. This is why the federal government collects all the data on all of us,

00:35:57.280 not just on foreign powers, but on all of us. They've got it all to entrench their power. This

00:36:01.660 is why private businesses are just trying to constantly scoop up data. This is why you have

00:36:05.920 so many free services, apparently free services right now on the internet. They're not really free.

00:36:10.300 You're paying with your data because data are power. Information is power. Ignorance is weakness.

00:36:16.500 And that, this is bad news for us. This is really bad news for us because even when we possess data,

00:36:22.340 we don't really know what to do with them in the West anymore. You know, on this show,

00:36:27.580 first, you know, I hate to say I told you so, but second, you know that for a long time,

00:36:31.140 I have said that conservatives should be wary of statistics. You know, the left loves to talk

00:36:37.240 about statistics. They just rattle off their statistics all day long. I say, no, we look,

00:36:41.280 we can cite the statistics if they help our argument, but the statistics are kind of silly.

00:36:45.820 Everyone's got their own statistics. There are lies, damned lies, and statistics. Statistics are 0.99

00:36:50.760 the means of power, of maintaining power for the modern administrative state. Okay, that's how it

00:36:59.620 works. The whole point of statistics is they were developed in the 19th century, specifically at

00:37:05.840 German universities. The word statistic refers to statist, right? It refers to state power, and it was

00:37:11.600 to power these modern bureaucracies that then were imported to America, specifically during the

00:37:17.720 presidency of Woodrow Wilson. They really get billed during Franklin Roosevelt. Now that's how

00:37:21.400 we operate. So the statistics, those data, that's the way that the state operates and maintains its

00:37:28.220 power. And when the bad data come in that don't support their narrative, what do they do? They

00:37:32.520 ignore them and they don't publish them, and they only use the data that are helpful to them to

00:37:36.380 maintain their power. Think about what Vladimir Putin did. He didn't do this in the modern statistical

00:37:42.640 technocratic bean counting way. But when he was giving that speech about why he wants to invade

00:37:48.060 Ukraine, the speech was basically just a history lesson. The speech was just this happened, then this

00:37:53.920 happened, then this happened. It was just information, historical information, to build his case as to

00:38:00.380 why he's got to invade. And it was very effective, particularly because his opponents have no way to

00:38:05.940 counter. Even the sort of bogus claims that he made, they don't really have to count. They don't have a

00:38:11.560 lot to counter it because we in the West don't know much about history or anything else anymore

00:38:15.780 because we're spending all of our time in school learning about diversity, equity, inclusion,

00:38:19.060 and a bunch of other nonsense. It's worked. This thing has worked, okay? The way that the state

00:38:27.140 is maintaining power right now by just inundating us with data, but only specific data, only to defend

00:38:34.060 a specific narrative, it has worked. Look no further than Joy Behar. Joy Behar is one of the more

00:38:39.800 eccentric, cackling hens on the view. Joy Behar, a very liberal woman. And she has said, now look,

00:38:45.880 even as the public health authorities are beginning to let up on the mask mandates,

00:38:50.660 I still want to wear mine because I'm just nervous. I'm just afraid.

00:38:56.020 Poisonally, I listen to the little voice in my head that doesn't really follow 100% what they tell

00:39:01.920 me because they keep changing it. So like very short time ago, they were saying, put the N95 masks on,

00:39:08.780 and now they make sure. And now they're saying you don't have to wear them anymore. So I,

00:39:14.940 if I go on the subway, if I go in a bus, if I go into the theater, if I go into, where else would

00:39:20.760 I go? A crowded spot. A crowded place. I would wear a mask. And I might do that indefinitely

00:39:25.240 because why do I need a flu or a cold even? And so I'm listening to myself right now. I sort of,

00:39:32.220 I mean, I don't think it's 100% safe yet.

00:39:34.440 I don't think it's 100% safe yet. Now, what people are going to point out is that

00:39:39.080 about three seconds after Joy Behar made these comments, Joy Behar was photographed at a restaurant

00:39:46.120 not wearing a mask. And according to some reports, she wasn't even wearing the mask when she walked

00:39:50.580 into the restaurant. Because you know, from the hostess stand to the table, that's when you can

00:39:54.840 catch COVID. But then at the table, you can't catch COVID. And so people are pointing to this and

00:39:58.880 they're saying, Joy Behar, you hypocrite. You don't need to get pictures of the restaurant. 0.98

00:40:03.860 Just look at pictures of the view. All these women are sitting together and they're not wearing masks. 1.00

00:40:08.080 You don't need to go, oh wow, we caught you not wearing. No, we're watching you not wear a mask

00:40:12.560 on television. You're all sitting next to each other. It is a relatively crowded place, right?

00:40:16.980 You got five women who don't live together, who interact with lots and lots of people all the time 1.00

00:40:21.980 who are in very close space and you're not wearing a mask. So what is it? Are you a hypocrite?

00:40:25.480 There may be, but I'm not convinced it's even hypocrisy. I have friends and family members 0.98

00:40:32.680 like Joy Behar, seriously, who are, they're New Yorkers, first of all. They are very liberal.

00:40:42.220 They are a little bit neurotic and they go along with what the government tells them to do. 0.97

00:40:49.140 And they're, did I mention they're neurotic? Yeah, they're a little bit neurotic. And so even when 0.98

00:40:53.460 the government says you can loosen up a little bit, they still, they're very nervous about their

00:40:56.700 health. Now, of course, it doesn't make any sense that, okay, you're going to, you're going to wear

00:41:02.940 the mask that we're already told is by Leanna Nguyen on CNN is nothing more than a facial decoration.

00:41:08.640 You're going to wear that when you're on a subway platform, but not when you're in a restaurant and

00:41:13.740 that's going to stop, or not when you're on a TV set for that matter. And that's going to stop

00:41:17.600 you from getting COVID. We know that that's not rational, but these people are not behaving in a

00:41:22.560 rational way. Okay. We are assuming that these are rational actors here, and that is not always

00:41:31.160 the case. The effect of the government constantly changing its story on COVID, don't wear the masks,

00:41:40.280 do wear the masks, don't wear the masks. The vaccines are not going to come out for a year and a half.

00:41:44.740 Actually, the vaccines are going to come out in three months. The vaccines are a hundred percent safe

00:41:47.980 and effective. There are no side effects, and it's going to stop you from contracting or transmitting

00:41:51.940 coronavirus. Actually, whoopsie daisy, that isn't true. None of that's true, but it's still,

00:41:56.700 that's why you need to get the fourth and the fifth shot, but you should still get the first shot if

00:41:59.740 you haven't gotten the first shot, because it's so effective, but it's not quite effective,

00:42:02.720 and blah, blah, blah, and your head is spinning by the end of it. And that's kind of the point.

00:42:06.580 This is, you want to talk about brilliant politicians. Forget about Vladimir Putin for a second,

00:42:11.880 look at Dr. Fauci. Dr. Fauci is such an adept politician in no small part because you can never

00:42:17.100 prove him wrong, and you can never prove him wrong because he's held both sides of every single

00:42:21.780 issue. He's held both sides, just during COVID, he's held both sides of the masks, pro-mask,

00:42:29.780 anti-mask, lockdowns. Lockdowns are terrible, unimaginable. Lockdowns are actually great.

00:42:33.500 We need more lockdowns. The vaccines, the continued mitigation measures, the on and on and on and on

00:42:39.220 and on. So you can't prove him wrong. You can't exactly prove him right either, but you can't prove

00:42:44.600 him wrong. He's always got that way out. It's irrational. And so you've got people who just

00:42:49.120 say, I don't know. I'm just afraid. I give Joy Behar credit. She's saying, I'm just afraid.

00:42:53.980 I'm just afraid and a little neurotic and powerless. I guess that's probably true. You want to talk about

00:43:00.880 life and death, real issues of life and death. Horrible story over the weekend. A 38-year-old mother

00:43:07.600 year of four was driving Uber to make some extra money. And a man gets in her. She was 38 years old.

00:43:16.660 You can tell by the word was that this story is not going to turn out very well.

00:43:21.340 A 22-year-old guy gets in, Calvin Crew, and he puts a gun to the back of her head. And he says,

00:43:27.300 hey, give me your money. And she says, no, please. I don't have this money. I don't have this.

00:43:33.440 Please put the gun down. No, no, no. She goes, please. I have a family. I have four kids. He

00:43:37.200 says, no, no, no, no, no. Eventually, the camera goes out. He shoots her.

00:43:43.820 This guy, Calvin Crew, even though he's only 22 years old, he's a career criminal. He's got a rap 0.91

00:43:49.240 sheet a mile long. He's been in and out of the system since he was a young teenager.

00:43:54.120 He's got an active criminal case right now involving a firearm.

00:44:00.860 Why was this animal allowed to prowl the streets? Why? Because of criminal justice reform, of course.

00:44:11.600 We hear criminal justice reform, mostly from the libs, but sometimes some conservatives embrace

00:44:15.720 it too. Frankly, Trump pushed this kind of stuff to some degree. And we hear, oh, this is good. This

00:44:21.440 is going to let, you know, people who are getting life sentences for, for smoking one puff of a joint

00:44:27.640 one time. This is, that's, it's going to, these more frivolous prosecutions. That's not how it works.

00:44:33.600 Criminal justice reform in practice is letting these monsters, these animals out on the street 0.99

00:44:40.340 to run roughshod, to terrorize innocent people, to destroy law and order. And we can't do it. We think

00:44:47.320 that justice in America today is letting all the criminals out of the prisons, abolishing prisons

00:44:52.280 as some very prominent Democrats, elected Democrats have been talking about. Is it any wonder,

00:44:58.440 is it any wonder that our enemies are taking advantage? We got, we got more hits. The hits

00:45:04.920 just keep on coming out of our, the criminal justice reform movement. Four people were stabbed

00:45:10.660 on a New York City subway platform or on a New York City subway train on Saturday within 18 hours.

00:45:17.320 Within 18 hours, uh, among, you know, New York's not a very big city. Four people stabbed within 18

00:45:25.280 hours. This as Mayor Eric Adams is going to get tougher on crime. Yeah. Okay. What happened?

00:45:32.600 Three suspects stabbed a 46 year old homeless man seven times after attempting to rob him, uh,

00:45:39.200 on the three train at Livonia and Van Sicklin Avenue in Brooklyn, a man punched a 20 year old woman in the 0.91

00:45:44.660 back. And then, uh, when she objected to getting punched in the back, uh, he slashed her three 0.95

00:45:50.120 times in the stomach, two teens, uh, slashed a 24 year old man standing in the mezzanine. Cause he,

00:45:56.380 I guess the robbery didn't go right. He didn't just immediately give them everything they wanted.

00:46:00.700 And a 31 year old man was standing near a man and a woman on a train while the woman was smoking.

00:46:06.780 And apparently this started an argument and the man from the couple stabbed the guy.

00:46:13.140 Criminal justice reform, right? That's, isn't that great. We need to let these people out of prison.

00:46:18.580 We, the, our problem in it, you know what our problem is in America? Over incarceration. That's

00:46:23.680 what I say. How can you believe you have to be so miseducated? You have to be so completely

00:46:33.140 diluted. You've got to be so high, not on the Haitian oregano, but on, on ideology that you believe

00:46:42.680 that a man is really a woman, that you believe that there's white supremacy. Go just wait for 1.00

00:46:52.560 the white supremacy. We got a great white supremacy story coming up. White supremacy running roughshod

00:46:56.620 over America. And you believe that our biggest problem in the criminal justice system

00:47:00.980 is over incarceration. We have a severe under incarceration problem. We don't deal with

00:47:08.800 crime and justice anymore. We have a lot of problems and it's not even just the basic political

00:47:14.920 problems. Oh, the border doesn't work. Oh, we've got this economic issue. Oh, we've, no, it's,

00:47:20.020 it's a philosophical problem. We don't know what justice is. We think that justice is letting

00:47:23.300 criminals out of prison. Is it any wonder that our enemies are aggressing? I promised you I'd get to

00:47:28.920 the white supremacy story. We got another big white supremacy example here, ton of white supremacy

00:47:34.340 going on. Uh, last week, the Sacramento Bee reported that the Sacramento City Unified School

00:47:42.300 District was investigating racist graffiti that was written over a water fountain at CK McClatchy High

00:47:50.020 School. And the, the graffiti was apparently a throwback to segregation. You know, it's a colored 0.91

00:47:54.600 water fountain here and whites only water fountain here. Isn't that terrible? There's white supremacy, 0.89

00:47:59.520 these Klansmen running, running loose in, um, California. Hmm. The superintendent, without 0.94

00:48:07.000 investigating a single aspect of this story, immediately gave a statement. He said, I am both

00:48:12.120 angry and heart sick that racist graffiti was discovered on the CK McClatchy campus today.

00:48:16.620 We take this incident very seriously. Racism and racist language will not be tolerated in our schools.

00:48:22.400 One father, a black father in the district said, there's something about our culture in the

00:48:27.020 Sacramento City School District that has to be addressed. The inequities, the performance of black 1.00

00:48:31.300 kids, the racism, it must stop, right? The, the implication here, this is all white supremacy, 0.98

00:48:36.640 white anti-black racism. Only problem for the narrative is there were video cameras. 0.96

00:48:43.800 You know, you know where this is going. You knew where this was going before I even gave you the

00:48:50.100 details of the story. Just, you knew right from the headline. What happened?

00:48:56.120 A black student did the graffiti. It was a hoax. It's not, how did, how did I know that this was a 0.97

00:49:04.160 hoax the minute I saw the headline? The way I knew this was a hoax is that white supremacy is an

00:49:10.840 illusion. It's not real. Lump it away with the Easter bunny and the tooth fairy. Don't forget about

00:49:17.800 that for, okay? It's not, you would have to be so deluded that you believe that over-incarceration

00:49:24.800 is a problem, that you believe that men are women, that you, you would have to be so 1.00

00:49:27.620 steeped from, I don't know, kindergarten to 12th grade. I'm sorry, from preschool to

00:49:34.060 the end of college. I'm sorry, until the end of graduate school, until that you would have to be so

00:49:38.520 steeped in this leftist ideology as America is, that your grasp on reality would have to be tenuous

00:49:47.600 if existent at all to believe that the Ku Klux Klan is running America, that the Ku Klux Klan is

00:49:55.880 running California. Give me a break. But this is what a lot of people believe. There was some years

00:50:03.300 ago, there was a Russian dissident who, who pointed out, yes, it looks like America's winning the Cold

00:50:10.340 War, but the Soviets are going to win it in the end. And the reason the Soviets are going to win 1.00

00:50:14.200 it in the end is because they have exported their ideology. And that ideology is going to poison

00:50:20.340 America. What was his name? Yuri Bren, something with a B. There's a very famous clip of this. Perhaps

00:50:27.300 we'll try to play it on the show. And he said, it takes about two generations, maybe three generations

00:50:34.520 to hollow out a country, to hollow out a country's confidence, sense of self, logic, reasoning,

00:50:42.400 traditions, operating principles. And so sure, the West thinks it's triumphant as it's winning the Cold

00:50:49.020 War. Just wait, just wait. That's what we're seeing right now. We're seeing right now the culmination

00:50:57.320 of decade after decade of hollowing out of America. Not just our freedom, you know, sure,

00:51:04.760 our freedom, that's kind of a symptom of that. But our conviction, our national unity, our sense that

00:51:12.380 we're really a nation at all, like a nation that has borders, that has a reason to exist.

00:51:16.100 All we talk about now is how awful it is that America exists in the first place. We should never

00:51:20.460 have come. Those poor Indians, those poor, the poor other settlers, that everyone has a right to 1.00

00:51:25.220 a country except for America. Oh, it's terrible. This is native land. This is, we don't deserve this.

00:51:31.000 We're colonizers. We're this. Our past was terrible. We need to apologize for everything. We need to

00:51:35.780 abolish our nationhood. And most importantly, our bare knowledge of really basic things.

00:51:46.820 Philosophical things, historical facts. We're in it. And by the way, we're so proud of ourselves the

00:51:52.120 whole time. We're saying we're the smartest generation ever. We know more. We're so

00:51:55.180 wonderfully educated. We're so brilliant. We're so enlightened. We're so bright. We are not. We are

00:52:00.120 living every day more and more so in the darkness of ignorance. And our enemies around the world are not.

00:52:07.600 Okay. Some of them have not fallen for the same poisons that we have. Okay.

00:52:15.640 That is playing out in real time in Ukraine. And so sure, we can send some troops. We can try to

00:52:20.600 defend Ukraine. The problem runs much, much deeper than that. Take a lesson from Putin. Take a lesson

00:52:27.960 from your enemies before it's too late. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show. See you
