Ep. 994 - Creepy Joe Says Your Children Don’t Belong to You

Summary

In response to a question from a conservative commentator, Vice President Joe Biden says, "Why are you making a political issue out of what teachers are teaching?" Well, because they're radical, isn't it? And because they don't have to be taught by conservative teachers.

00:00:00.000 Democrats keep saying the quiet part out loud. All week, they have been inadvertently admitting
00:00:06.180 their intentions. By crying over Elon Musk's free speech pledge on Twitter, they've admitted
00:00:12.540 to censoring conservatives, which they had previously denied. But they're admitting that
00:00:16.240 because they're complaining about Elon Musk changing it. By criticizing the power that
00:00:20.020 Elon Musk could wield if he succeeds at taking over Twitter, they are admitting to possessing
00:00:25.980 and really and wielding that power themselves for years, which they denied for years, but
00:00:32.060 which they have done against conservatives. And now by attacking curriculum transparency
00:00:37.260 bills in schools, they are admitting to teaching our kids all sorts of creepy stuff that they
00:00:43.460 know we'd object to. That's the only reason to oppose curriculum transparency is because
00:00:48.180 the thing that they denied that we've been accusing them of doing is obviously true. Biden, of
00:00:53.220 course, is still taking the side of the teacher unions and the radical administrators. He
00:00:57.520 is lamenting why, why, oh, why are conservatives making a political issue out of what teachers
00:01:03.320 are teaching? American teachers have dedicated their lives to teaching our children and lifting
00:01:09.140 them up. We ought to stop making the target of the culture wars. Just a reminder, the conservatives
00:01:16.280 are not the ones who started the culture wars. By definition, conservatives are perfectly fine with
00:01:23.580 the way our culture has traditionally been. It is the libs, the leftists, the progressives,
00:01:29.760 the radicals. They are the ones who, by definition, do not like that traditional culture and want to
00:01:35.940 change it. It is the leftists who are the aggressors in the culture war. And they wage that culture war,
00:01:42.180 especially in schools. So why might conservatives be focusing on radical teachers? Biden answers his
00:01:49.880 own question. You've heard me say it many times about our children, but it's true. They're all our
00:01:57.160 children. And the reason you're the teachers of the year is because you recognize that. They're not
00:02:03.160 somebody else's children. They're like yours when they're in the classroom. They're not somebody else's
00:02:07.820 your children. Your children don't belong to you, Biden says. Your children belong to the teachers.
00:02:15.420 One, that statement is horrifying and the best argument for homeschooling I've ever heard.
00:02:20.600 But two, in practice, very often that is true. If you're leaving your kids with these teachers all
00:02:27.200 day, some of whom are extreme political radicals, they are effectively raising your kids, which is why
00:02:32.980 it's all the more important to take back control of the curricula that radical activists are using
00:02:38.300 to poison our kids' minds at schools. It's been a great week for conservatives. For the first time
00:02:44.840 in years, we've at least felt that we're taking back some political power. But the establishment is
00:02:51.420 not going to give up that easy. They've already got plans to make up for whatever power they might
00:02:56.240 have lost on Twitter in the schools, in the government, and in your wallet. I'm Michael Knowles.
00:03:01.920 This is the Michael Knowles Show. Welcome back to the show. My favorite comment yesterday is from
00:03:13.080 Isaac Kessinger, who says, you mean we've circled back to blood magic? How lovely. This never goes
00:03:20.260 wrong. Referring, I suppose, to Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, who drink each other's blood and
00:03:26.560 perform all sorts of occult rituals. Yeah, just a reminder that there is nothing new under the sun.
00:03:32.040 Every idea that we have that we think is super new and modern and, wow, it's a brand new discovery,
00:03:37.160 it's not. Whether it's transgenderism, whether it's the new push among the elites to live forever
00:03:43.000 and to conquer death, whether it's people doing weird blood rituals to try to expand their universe,
00:03:49.420 man, and take control of the created world. All of those things have been done for thousands and
00:03:54.340 thousands of years, usually by extremely, well, always by extremely misguided people and usually
00:03:59.640 by idiots. And it's our modern elites who think they're geniuses for discovering something that
00:04:04.660 goes back to the dawn of time. When you want the best people around you working for your company,

00:05:11.900 slash K-N-O-W-L-E-S. ZipRecruiter, the smartest way to hire. Joe Biden's gone back to that old
00:05:19.420 Democrat well of flattering teachers trying to beef up his support among the teacher unions,
00:05:25.140 and then at a deeper level, trying to use the schools to push their radical agenda long-term.
00:05:30.480 Nothing new about this. The Dems have been doing it for 50, 60 years now at least, and really it goes
00:05:36.100 back much earlier. It goes back to the earliest days of the public school movement in America.
00:05:40.800 It has always had a decidedly, intentionally progressive bent to it. And what the Dems do
00:05:47.100 is they accuse their opponents of doing what they themselves have done. And you hear this especially
00:05:55.600 with one of the stupidest Democrat talking points on education, which is that Republicans
00:06:00.200 are a great threat to education because they want to ban books.
00:06:04.580 Today, there are too many politicians trying to score political points, trying to ban books,
00:06:10.540 even math books. I mean, did you ever think, even your younger teachers, did you ever think
00:06:14.640 when you'd be teaching, you're going to be worrying about book burnings and banning books?
00:06:20.160 All because it doesn't fit somebody's political agenda.
00:06:22.740 You ever imagine that? Isn't that so crazy? I could imagine that. Here's how I would imagine
00:06:28.580 that. I'd imagine that I were a teacher and I wanted to teach anything from the Bible in class.
00:06:34.020 The Bible, the most important book ever written from which, even if you're not a believer,
00:06:38.660 surely you have to admit all of Western literature, the Western tradition springs out of the Bible.
00:06:44.900 It's the most important book ever written. You're not allowed to teach that in schools. That is a
00:06:49.540 banned book. And it wasn't conservatives who banned that book. It was liberals who banned that book.
00:06:54.900 It is true. Republicans and conservatives want to ban certain books. We want to ban
00:06:59.180 BDSM, weird, gay, LGBT porn from elementary schools. That's what we're doing. I'm not being hyperbolic
00:07:06.700 here. There is actual, outright, purely obscene, prurient, creepy sex porn in school libraries.
00:07:15.620 And even sometimes these things leak into the assigned material, not just in college or high
00:07:22.440 school or even middle school, but all the way down to elementary schools. That's happening right now.
00:07:26.820 And so, yes, people want to ban that. In terms of the books that conservatives want to ban in the
00:07:30.740 classroom, we don't want to ban math books. We want to ban books that use math and other subjects as a
00:07:38.760 way to push a radical and false racial and sexual agenda. Critical race theory, transgenderism, and
00:07:46.600 all the rest of the radical left's agenda. We want to ban that because instead of students reading those
00:07:53.000 bad and stupid books that will harm their education, we want them to read good books that will actually
00:07:58.680 educate them. Just like if you had a math textbook that we're teaching that two plus two equals five,
00:08:04.660 everyone, every sensible person would want to ban that book from the classroom because that's harming
00:08:09.800 students' education. And you've only got so much time. You've only got so many books that you can
00:08:14.160 read in the classroom. And if you teach that one thing is true, then you are implicitly teaching that
00:08:17.980 the opposite of that thing is not true. So if you're teaching that two plus two equals five, you are
00:08:22.740 implicitly teaching that two plus two does not equal four. But two plus two does equal four, and so that's
00:08:27.060 what you want to teach in the classroom. And so we're banning books that peddle falsehoods and
00:08:31.640 destructive perverse ideologies. And instead, we want to replace them with good books that will be
00:08:37.100 edifying. The left has been doing the same thing for years. They just do it in reverse. They replace
00:08:41.560 books that are true, tell you the true story about history, that present good literature, that present
00:08:46.060 accurate math, that is not totally surrounded by crazy leftist theories. They've replaced all of those
00:08:54.180 good books with their nonsense up to and including pornography. So yeah, it's just a debate over
00:09:00.640 standards. And yes, just like you libs kicked the Bible out of schools, we want to kick gay porn out
00:09:07.780 of the second grade classroom. So okay, I guess there's no disputing taste, I suppose. But as far
00:09:13.400 as I'm concerned, I would rather students be taught things that are good and true and beautiful and not
00:09:17.600 a bunch of obscene, weird stuff. Could you ever imagine? Of course they could imagine. They're the
00:09:22.860 ones who did it in the first place. Now, what is being taught in schools? Every time I mention this,
00:09:29.880 the libs come out and they say, I'm a conspiracy theorist and none of these obscene materials are
00:09:34.020 actually being taught in schools. Okay, if that's the case, why is Rhode Island right now trying to
00:09:38.040 enshrine the right of educators to teach sexual pleasure courses in schools there? There's
00:09:44.780 legislation before the Rhode Island legislature, Senate Bill 2285, that would amend current law so
00:09:52.160 that what they deem to be culturally appropriate courses in family life or sex education can be taught
00:09:57.740 to children beginning in the sixth grade. So this is when students are 11 years old.
00:10:02.260 What kind of teachings? Quote, I'm just reading directly from the bill here.
00:10:06.540 Teachings would recognize pleasure-based sexual relations, different sexual orientations,
00:10:12.280 and be inclusive of same-sex relationship. The act would also provide that instruction include
00:10:16.680 gender, gender expression, gender identity, and the harm of negative gender stereotypes.
00:10:20.640 The creepiest part, of course, are these two words, pleasure-based. Why are you talking to 11-year-olds
00:10:27.800 about pleasure-based sexual relations? That's extremely weird. Well, there's an answer to this.
00:10:35.200 And the answer is going to upset Republicans who don't want to be called transphobic or homophobic or
00:10:40.500 any other kind of phobic. The sort of Republicans who want to claim that the education law in Florida
00:10:46.780 has nothing to do with LGBT, has nothing to do with don't say gay. It could just be called the
00:10:51.340 don't say straight bill, too, because it just bans talk about sex entirely. No, the issue here is LGBT.
00:10:58.320 It is LGBT. And that's not to say we need to be mean to people who have different sexual desires
00:11:03.160 or anything like that. But it is to say that we need to be clear about the issue. The reason that this
00:11:07.840 bill is being pushed in Rhode Island is because there is inevitably some kind of sexual education that
00:11:14.660 goes on in schools. When you read a little book to your kindergarten or first grade class where
00:11:19.940 there's a mommy and a daddy and a baby, you are implicitly teaching something about sex,
00:11:23.940 sexual relations, and the family. That's why no conservative has a problem if you read the book
00:11:29.840 to the class about mama bear and daddy bear and baby bear. But we would have a problem if you read
00:11:34.220 a book about mama bear and leather daddy bear and leather daddy bear as boyfriends, polyamorous
00:11:40.360 harem or something like that. We wouldn't support that, even though they're both just teaching
00:11:46.760 implicit lessons about sex and family, but one is disordered and one is perfectly traditional and
00:11:51.540 normal. The reason they have to say pleasure-based sexual relations is because traditionally, when we
00:11:59.160 talk about sex, we talk about sex as though it has a purpose, that things in life have purpose.
00:12:04.520 The purpose of the leftist tears tumbler is to give me my leftist tears so I can drink them up.
00:12:09.280 The purpose of this microphone is to record my voice when I'm doing my show and bring it to all
00:12:14.600 of you. And the purpose of sex is to have babies. The purpose of sex is to create new life, to join
00:12:20.760 together two people, man and woman, to come together in a complimentary fashion. And then out of those
00:12:27.220 two people and their love together to create a new life. Now, there are all sorts of different ways
00:12:32.100 that you can use your sexual faculties. And some of those involve a man and a woman. Some of those
00:12:37.620 involve three dudes and a billy goat. Some of those involve just yourself, as Woody Allen called
00:12:43.120 it, sex with someone you love. But the purpose of those things is obviously not procreation. The
00:12:49.040 purpose of those would merely be pleasure. So sex, when it fulfills its purpose of openness to life,
00:12:54.840 pleasure is a byproduct of that. Very often, one hopes that that's a byproduct of that. But when you
00:12:59.600 make pleasure the end goal of that, you've put the cart before the horse. It has never been taught
00:13:04.140 in the traditional sexual education such as it is, that the purpose of sex is pleasure. It's a nice
00:13:09.160 aspect of sex, but it's not the purpose. If you want to be able to teach LGBTQ ideology,
00:13:14.740 you've got to make pleasure the end. So you've got to completely invert the teaching about sex.
00:13:19.620 These Democrats are not idiots. They're very sophisticated. They know what they're doing.
00:13:23.300 And Republicans, I fear, have no idea what they're doing. When you want to learn a thing or two,
00:13:28.280 you've got to check out PragerU. You know how much I love PragerU. I host a show on
00:13:34.060 PragerU. I do videos on PragerU. I've written for PragerU. And one new project that PragerU
00:13:42.120 has launched is PragerU Kids. Just the other night, just the other night, I was sitting,
00:13:46.240 reading goodnight books to sweet little buddy, my little baby boy. And he hands me the PragerU
00:13:52.860 kids book, Otto's Tales. And so I read it and it's about this little Dennis and this little dog and
00:13:57.700 they go on all these historical adventures and they clear up all the crap that your kids are being
00:14:01.420 fed in schools and all the woke materials. And they tell you great, wonderful kids stories about
00:14:06.160 history, about the way the world really works. It's so great. I sometimes do it in my Dennis
00:14:09.760 Prager voice. Well now, little buddy. So PragerU Kids has created nearly 150 pieces of video and
00:14:16.180 print content for children in kindergarten through 12th grade. They've got animated shows, illustrated
00:14:21.260 books, digital magazines. PragerU Kids offers entertaining and educational content to equip families
00:14:26.360 to save the future of America. 300,000 parents, teachers, and grandparents and caregivers have

00:14:38.320 Absolutely love it. You got to do it right now. PragerUKids.com. Head on over there today.
00:14:44.100 Speaking of sexual education for kids, you know, my colleague, Matt Walsh. Matt is a beloved
00:14:50.740 women's studies scholar. He is the leading LGBTQ plus children's author in the country.
00:14:58.820 And Amazon is very upset about this. Amazon, we knew this months ago. Amazon had been trying to
00:15:06.540 suppress Matt's book, Johnny the Walrus. A story about a confused little boy who thinks that he's
00:15:11.600 a walrus and whose society encourages him to believe that he's a walrus. So the book did very,
00:15:16.440 very well when it first came out. But Amazon tried to suppress it. And as always, when the libs go in
00:15:23.180 and they get exposed trying to suppress something, it skyrockets to the top of the chart. So I think
00:15:28.400 for a little while yesterday, Matt actually had two bestselling books on the charts. It's his
00:15:34.540 upcoming book, What is a Woman? And then the children's book that actually came out a while ago.
00:15:39.560 A whistleblower at Amazon leaked the footage of Amazon conspiring to suppress Johnny the Walrus.
00:15:44.700 It's been a very traumatic experience for transgender Amazonians and our transgender
00:15:51.320 customers. Johnny the Walrus is a bit of a problematic book. Not a bit. It is.
00:16:00.160 It is not a bit of a problem. It's one hell of a problem.
00:16:04.260 You are selling a manual how to teach kids to bully other kids to commit suicide.
00:16:13.680 I talked to, she said she was going to get the book stripped off of your site. Now he is bragging
00:16:21.780 that he has the number one book. You are still going to continue to sell it. And now he's bragging
00:16:29.460 and that he's glad it's going to make the LGBTQIA kids, especially transgenders, commit suicide.
00:16:40.540 So because Matt Walsh said that little boys can't become walruses, LGBTQ kids,
00:16:49.000 even that whole concept is extremely problematic. The idea that five-year-olds have this distinct
00:16:54.540 sexual identity. Even moving past that for a second, the idea is that because Matt Walsh made
00:17:01.160 a book about how a little kid can't become a walrus, that now kids are going to commit suicide
00:17:05.180 because of him. And Amazon's taking this lunatic woman seriously. So yes, you're, oh wow, that's,
00:17:11.200 we have to do something. We need to try to suppress Matt one way or the other. And of course, when this
00:17:16.260 comes out, what happens? The people want to buy this book. The book was very popular. The idea is
00:17:22.480 very popular. Look, look what happened at Twitter. When Elon Musk came in and said, we are going to have
00:17:29.240 free speech at that platform. Something changed overnight. I've gained something like 70,000 Twitter
00:17:35.500 followers in the last four days, three or four days. Other people are, some, some other people
00:17:41.260 are reporting even larger gains. Is it just bots? I don't think it's just bots because a lot of these
00:17:45.900 new followers are blue check marks. They're people who are supposedly verified, getting a lot more
00:17:50.700 engagement. Something changed in the way that Twitter is working to allow conservatives overnight to
00:17:56.240 have a lot more engagement, have a much wider reach on the platform. It would seem to me that that is
00:18:02.400 a, an easing up on the suppression of conservatives. Despite the best efforts, efforts of the liberal
00:18:10.880 censors, people still know some basic truths. We know that men are not women. We know, I think we know
00:18:19.760 that babies are babies. We know basic facts of, of reality, even COVID. That was one of the
00:18:25.600 great examples of censorship. You weren't allowed to say certain things about COVID. Now you might be
00:18:32.000 able to on Twitter, but on, on the other social platforms, including the platforms that this show
00:18:36.260 airs on, you're still not allowed to say things about Twitter or you're still not allowed to say
00:18:40.840 a lot of things about COVID and the vaccine. You are not permitted even today. You are not permitted
00:18:45.640 to say that the vaccine does not work. The vaccines, there are multiple. You're not allowed to say
00:18:52.000 that they don't work. So I'm not, if I made that declarative statement right now that the vaccines
00:18:57.020 don't work, I would be censored. You would not hear it in this show. Even though the vaccine,
00:19:04.780 here's what people say. This is what people say, because the vaccines do not prevent contracting
00:19:10.200 the virus or transmitting the virus, as we were told that they would by Joe Biden and Dr. Fauci and
00:19:15.040 Rochelle Walensky. Now what people say to try to split the baby is they say, well, the vaccines are,
00:19:19.800 yes, so they may not prevent you from contracting or transmitting the virus, but they're very,
00:19:24.780 very good at, at stopping hospitalization and death, which may or may not be true. I'm not sure
00:19:30.140 if that's true or not. The only reason I have to believe that is because of the people who have been
00:19:35.300 lying to me for two years and, and the people who were very publicly wrong about what the vaccines
00:19:40.560 would do in the first place. They insist that they do that. So maybe they do that. Okay, fine.
00:19:43.960 I'll keep an open mind. But in order for a thing to work, in order for a thing to work,
00:19:51.260 the thing has to accomplish its purpose. It kind of gets back to our discussion of sex a little bit
00:19:56.940 earlier. Things have a purpose. The leftist tears tumbler has a purpose to give me my leftist tears.
00:20:01.740 The microphone has a purpose to broadcast my voice. The, the purpose of vaccines, we were told by Biden,
00:20:09.800 by Walensky, by Dr. Fauci, is to stop people from getting a virus and transmitting a virus. So if
00:20:16.400 the vaccines don't do that, then, well, I'm not allowed, I'm not allowed to finish that sentence,
00:20:22.400 I guess. If the purpose of a gun is to shoot bullets, the purpose of a gun is to shoot bullets.
00:20:28.180 If the gun doesn't shoot bullets, the gun cannot be said to work. The gun may coincidentally make a
00:20:33.340 really good paperweight. But even though the gun makes a good paperweight, if it doesn't shoot bullets,
00:20:38.180 you can't say the gun works. Well, it's a very, it's very highly effective at being a paperweight.
00:20:43.680 Okay. But what was the purpose of the gun? Does it work? So you're not allowed, you are not allowed
00:20:48.780 to make the statement that vaccines don't work. And I use this as an example because it's something,
00:20:53.780 it's something where everybody knows that the vaccines don't do the thing that Fauci and Walensky
00:21:03.260 and Biden said that they would do. And that vaccines just as a category of thing are supposed
00:21:09.480 to do. And we all know, everybody knows that even the libs agree. We all agree with that. And yet we're
00:21:14.160 not allowed to say it. And that drives people crazy. That is the kind of censorship that we are
00:21:19.340 seeing throughout our culture. And so when Elon Musk even sort of intimates that we might ease off that
00:21:25.280 a little bit, everyone can breathe a sigh of relief. Everyone can breathe a little more freely.
00:21:30.520 Why are parents showing up to the school boards? Why did Glenn Youngkin win in Virginia? Why is
00:21:35.520 Ron DeSantis having the time of his life in Florida right now? Why? It's because of these individual
00:21:40.680 issues, education, transgenderism, critical race theory, the COVID lockdowns. It's because of these,
00:21:45.860 but more it's because this corrupt ruling class is just forcing us to lie all the time.
00:21:50.600 And it drives us up a wall. And it's so disrespectful and it's so insulting. And it feels as tyrannical
00:21:57.960 as any sort of condition of government could be when you're not even permitted to be honest.
00:22:03.060 When you're not even permitted to be honest in your private conversations, in messages on social
00:22:08.620 media platforms to one another. That is what's driving people up a wall. And the libs have their
00:22:14.860 story and they're sticking to it. They're not changing anything. Biden can't come clean on any
00:22:21.800 of these issues. He's underwater on all of them. And so now, because he's desperate for the Democrats to win
00:22:26.500 in the 2022 midterms and then in 2024, he's just trying to give out freebies.
00:22:32.500 Right now, Biden is intimating that he's willing to postpone or just outright cancel student debt.
00:22:40.460 Biden said during a private meeting with Democrats, this is according to widespread reports,
00:22:44.100 that he's open to canceling student loan debt, even though he didn't really focus on that issue
00:22:48.480 during the first year of his presidency. He thinks that'll be a good freebie. Why is he doing that?
00:22:52.780 Well, he's doing it to reward his base, his base of college educated idiots, his base of teacher union
00:23:03.180 thugs, and to create incentives for more people to go through these institutions that turn out more
00:23:09.360 liberals, that turn out more Democrats. And because he's got the power, he's willing to exercise the
00:23:15.220 power. I forget who it was yesterday. Someone made this comment. This is not an original thought of my
00:23:19.480 own. That the party that does something is always going to beat the party that just wants to be left
00:23:26.760 alone. For a long time, conservatives just said, we just want to be left alone. Just do whatever you
00:23:31.840 want. Use whatever bathroom you want. Do whatever you want in your community, in your state, and just
00:23:38.080 please just leave me alone. You can redefine marriage. You can redefine, just do whatever you
00:23:42.360 want in your schools. Just leave me alone. That's never going to work. The political community has to set
00:23:48.600 standards. We have to set, we have to make laws. We have to, we have to set certain parameters that
00:23:54.120 will describe how we live. And so the party that has a vision for that, and that is actually going
00:23:58.420 to wield political power and implement that, they're going to be the guys who win. And the rest of us who
00:24:02.940 throw our hands in the air and bury our heads in the sand, we're going to lose. That's inevitable.
00:24:08.360 When the, when the culture begins to reflect everything other than our own beliefs, it's time to build
00:24:13.920 our own, which is what we're doing. The Daily Wire is taking on Hollywood. We're taking on
00:24:18.020 razor companies that cave to the woke. We're taking on the publishing industry. We are taking
00:24:22.620 on the probably biggest entertainment company from all of our childhoods, Disney, because it's about
00:24:29.320 time we do something. So you can too. Stop giving money to organizations that hate your guts.
00:24:35.340 Help us build alternatives where the left is destroying the foundations of our society.

00:24:50.040 to do something, if you actually, if you, if you don't just want to complain and lament and whine
00:24:54.580 and say, oh no, the sky is falling, which it very well might be. If you want to take a proactive step,
00:24:59.460 put your money where your mouth is. Well, head on over to dailywire.com slash subscribe,

00:25:14.220 You didn't think that the left was going to take the Elon Musk takeover of Twitter lying down,
00:25:22.740 did you? You didn't think that they were, okay, we lost, we lost Twitter. So we tried to censor
00:25:28.420 conservatives. We tried to totally set the narrative and it, uh, it didn't work out. You
00:25:33.900 know, Elon took a big platform from us. So, okay, that's that. Did you think they were going to do
00:25:38.680 that? No. The Democrats now within what a week of, of Elon's announced potential takeover of Twitter,
00:25:46.380 they have wielded the power of the state to set up a disinformation governance board.
00:25:54.020 Because if, if the liberal state, if liberal politicians can't outsource censorship to the
00:25:59.700 big tech companies, they can still count on Facebook. They can still count on Google and YouTube,
00:26:03.540 but they maybe can't count on Twitter anymore to, to become the proxy by which the state violates
00:26:11.280 Americans' freedom of speech, first amendment rights, and a basic right to speak and govern
00:26:16.540 ourselves in a, in a republic. If they can't rely on them, they're just going to do it themselves,
00:26:20.680 which is why the Department of Homeland Security has announced the setup of the disinfo governance board.
00:26:28.020 This is one of our priority areas. And as a matter of fact, just a few weeks ago,
00:26:33.720 uh, I engaged with secretaries of state from all over the country, uh, to focus our efforts
00:26:38.880 on election security. Uh, we are building upon, uh, the great work of the former CISA director,
00:26:45.760 Chris Krebs. Uh, Jenny Sterling is leading, of course, the cybersecurity and infrastructure
00:26:50.200 security agency in this effort. Uh, we have just established, uh, miss and disinformation
00:26:57.240 governance board in the department of Homeland security to more effectively, um, combat, uh,
00:27:03.100 this threat, not only to election security, uh, but to our Homeland security. We are disseminating
00:27:09.600 information, uh, to the secretaries of state. We are counseling them and providing resources to ensure,
00:27:17.040 uh, better, uh, better physical security. We are, uh, addressing all aspects of election security,
00:27:24.400 um, given, of course, the midterm elections that are upon us and the fundamental, uh, integrity of
00:27:31.840 our democratic processes that is at stake. Already sounds spooky enough that you've now got the
00:27:38.280 federal government determining that they've got a ministry of truth, I guess is what you'd call it.
00:27:43.720 This disinformation governance board. It sounds like it could easily be used just as a cudgel
00:27:48.460 against conservatives, but look, let's be as fair as we can. There is such a thing as foreign
00:27:53.660 disinformation. Just look at the war in Ukraine. Probably 90% of the information coming out of the
00:27:58.260 war in Ukraine right now is disinformation. Some of it's Russian disinformation, some of it's Ukrainian
00:28:03.460 disinformation that just goes along with war. Propaganda is a big part of war and it's a big part
00:28:07.820 of statecraft. So in, in principle, I'm not even totally opposed to the United States having its
00:28:14.380 own kind of propaganda ministry. Every state in throughout all of history has had a propaganda
00:28:20.540 ministry. My issue here is, is this actually going to combat foreign disinformation or is this just a
00:28:29.700 thinly veiled excuse to censor half of Americans? How does it censor conservatives who, who disagree with
00:28:37.340 the way the liberal ruling class are governing us? And we have our answer. We don't need to speculate
00:28:42.340 about that. The government's already told us which it is. It is the latter. It is just an excuse to
00:28:48.140 censor all the conservatives because of the woman that they picked to run this thing. The director of
00:28:52.840 the board is a woman named Nina Jankowicz, who in, in 2020, right before the presidential election,
00:29:00.000 came out and described the Hunter Biden laptop and all the, the ugly information that it contained
00:29:07.100 about Hunter Biden and about Joe Biden and the Biden family's corruption and the Biden family's
00:29:10.920 crimes and finances described it as disinformation. So we know the Hunter Biden laptop was totally real.
00:29:18.200 It's not Russian disinformation. And yet this woman who's running the disinformation board couldn't tell
00:29:23.640 that. And she actually went out on a limb and she said back on the laptop from hell. Apparently Biden
00:29:28.980 notes that 50 former national security officials and five former CIA heads believe the laptop is a
00:29:34.900 Russian influence operation. And Trump says, Russia, Russia, Russia. So she's reacting to the
00:29:39.320 presidential debate here. And she is parroting the line from Joe Biden and from the intelligence
00:29:46.280 community that the Hunter Biden laptop wasn't legit, but the Hunter Biden laptop absolutely was legit.
00:29:51.680 So if passed as precedent, all this woman is going to do is wield the power of the state
00:29:56.380 to defend Democrats, to attack Republicans, and to call any factual claim that conservatives make
00:30:06.540 Russian disinformation and try to shut us up. Now, speaking of disinformation, we got a lot of
00:30:13.220 disinformation coming out of the government. Joe Biden has a federal judge nominee up, Newsrat Chowdhury.
00:30:19.100 And I think in all of the news about Twitter and all of the news about the economy, some of these
00:30:23.900 really radical Biden nominees are kind of going under the radar and people aren't paying attention.
00:30:28.220 You've got to pay attention. Biden is pushing through extremely radical people. This woman's up for a
00:30:33.420 district court and she has made the claim that cops kill innocent black men every day in America.
00:30:41.640 She's made that claim in the past. This woman is up for a federal judgeship. She doesn't sound
00:30:45.420 particularly unbiased or disinterested to me. Senator Kennedy, Republican Senator Kennedy came
00:30:52.320 out and grilled her over this. What's even more chilling than the claim that she, the completely
00:30:57.820 false claim that she made about cops killing innocent black men is the justification she had for lying.
00:31:05.400 This is a really simple question, Counselor. Do you believe that cops kill unarmed black men in
00:31:11.820 America every single day? You said it at Princeton. Senator, I said it in my role as an advocate.
00:31:17.780 Oh, okay. You didn't mean it. Senator, I said it in my role as an advocate to make a rhetorical point.
00:31:24.140 So when you say something that's incorrect, it's okay to excuse it by saying, oh, I was being an
00:31:29.740 advocate? What do you believe? Do you personally believe that cops kill unarmed black men every single
00:31:36.100 day in America? Senator, I believe law enforcement have an important and challenging job in this country.
00:31:41.440 That's not what you said, though, Counselor. Senator, I say before you here today that I do
00:31:46.000 believe law enforcement have a difficult and challenging job, and I also understand the
00:31:50.280 difference between— I just think that's an extraordinary statement to make with no data to
00:31:54.240 back up. None whatsoever. There's no basis for you saying that. And you knew it then and you know it
00:32:02.380 now. How can one possibly believe that you're going to be unbiased on the federal bench?
00:32:08.060 Excellent grilling here from Senator Kennedy. It's worth pointing out the claim was not even that
00:32:15.840 cops kill innocent black men every day. The claim was that cops kill unarmed black men every day,
00:32:20.960 which is a different claim. And unarmed does not mean innocent. And a killing of an unarmed man is not
00:32:26.840 always not justified. Sometimes it actually can be justified. But even that claim, even that broader
00:32:32.800 claim is not true, she just lied. And she admitted that she lied. When Kennedy—he said, that statement
00:32:40.520 is not true. So, Ms. Chowdhury, why did you say it? And she said, well, that was in my role as an
00:32:45.720 advocate. In your role as an advocate, you can lie? You think that gives you license to just lie in
00:32:53.620 public? Well, that was—I was making a rhetorical point. Oh, so your rhetoric is—includes lying?
00:33:03.620 No, you don't—you don't have any right to lie in public. Well, no, no, no, but I was doing a
00:33:10.900 different job. Yeah, you don't have a right to lie in those different public jobs. Well, no, no,
00:33:15.440 I was lying then, but I'm not going to lie now. She doesn't even say she's not going to lie now.
00:33:18.580 She's a liar. And she, I think, is representing a view that is really common among Democrats and
00:33:28.680 among the left, which is that the end justifies the means, which is that, yeah, you can tell some
00:33:33.480 lies if the lies are going to get you a good end. Well, yeah, when I was in this job, I wanted to get
00:33:38.320 this political end, so I said this thing. Now that I'm going to be in this judge job, I'm going to say
00:33:42.220 a different thing, but, you know, we're all just trying to get to the same place. If our elected
00:33:50.500 officials have no respect for the truth, then we are completely sunk. And it's even broader. It's
00:33:58.860 even within our whole society. If our society has no respect for the truth, then we just can't govern
00:34:03.400 ourselves. If we're moving from a society that acknowledges objective reality and objective truth
00:34:08.440 to a society that denies objective reality and objective truth and only exercises or only claims
00:34:15.140 subjective truth, my truth and your truth, subjective identity, my gender identity, my gender
00:34:23.880 expression, my oppression, my, my, my, then we can't communicate. There has to be a referent outside of
00:34:30.980 us that we can point to. We have to be able to speak the same language and the words that we use to
00:34:35.560 communicate need to refer to real things outside of us in order to communicate, in order to get along
00:34:40.000 together in society. If we don't have that, all that will ensue is chaos. All that will ensue is
00:34:45.600 anarchy. And we're not just talking about the hoi polloi who are engaging in this dangerous political
00:34:49.540 game. We're actually not. We're talking specifically about the elite. I bet that woman went to some of the
00:34:54.700 fanciest schools in America. Boy, she has the arrogance that only a top Ivy League credential can give
00:35:01.640 you the way that she's, the way that she brazenly boasts about lying, the way that she's, she's just
00:35:07.560 sitting there. So it's giving such a glib answers to this Senator. And what she is saying is truth
00:35:13.160 doesn't matter. What is truth? What is truth? No, that was just my rhetoric. It's the line that
00:35:19.000 Pontius Pilate said to Jesus Christ at the Passion. He says, quid est veritas. What is, what is truth?
00:35:26.100 What is, well, there, no, there is truth. And if there isn't truth, then we're, then we're really
00:35:29.620 sunk in self-government. But what the libs try to do is when they get caught in these lies or when
00:35:36.400 they get caught in a tight political situation, one of the ways that they deny truth is they just
00:35:40.560 redefine all the words. So you've, Washington state right now has just banned the term marijuana.
00:35:48.120 They haven't banned marijuana. They would never ban the Peruvian parsley up in Washington state,
00:35:52.280 but they have banned the term marijuana and they've banned the term marijuana because apparently
00:35:58.220 the word marijuana is racist. The term marijuana itself is pejorative and racist, even though it
00:36:05.860 seems simple because it's just one word. But the reality is we are healing the wrongs that were
00:36:11.980 committed against black and brown people around cannabis. It was negatively associated with Mexican
00:36:19.400 immigrants. It was used as a racist terminology to, um, lock up black and brown people.
00:36:28.240 It's because of the racism of the word marijuana that people who used illicit drugs were thrown in
00:36:37.000 prison. That's why, no, it's because they were committing crimes. That's why it's because that
00:36:41.480 was illegal. And then people used it and they actually didn't even really in, in recent decades,
00:36:46.660 no one goes to prison for simple possession. They all go to prison for dealing and for trafficking
00:36:50.700 and they usually plead it down. So even to say they went to jail for using an illegal drug,
00:36:54.760 that's just not true. They went to prison for peddling poison to young people and working for
00:37:01.180 criminal cartels that no matter where they are in the food chain. And we say, no, the only, it's not
00:37:06.120 their fault that they committed crimes. It's because of the racism of the word marijuana. Okay.
00:37:10.280 What are we going to call it? Haitian oregano, Peruvian parsley. What are we, what are you,
00:37:15.580 a doobie. Okay. Now in the law, we're just going to call it doobies. We're just, is that,
00:37:20.420 is that going to change anything? No. The question is, should this substance be legal or not? Should
00:37:25.660 we prosecute it or not? One of my least popular views is I don't see any reason to legalize marijuana.
00:37:31.140 I don't see any reason because one of my strongest arguments for keeping it illegal is that the potheads
00:37:36.960 who really, really are insanely pro-legalization are almost always extremely airheaded libs. I'm not
00:37:44.120 saying that some people on the right don't like a little Peruvian parsley too, but the ones who make
00:37:47.820 it their whole identity, the people who just clamor for it, they're protesting to legalize,
00:37:52.720 they're always huge libs and I see no reason to give them what they want. In that, especially in
00:37:57.000 that case, why do we, why do we need to, why do we need to introduce a new drug to the mainstream?
00:38:03.120 I don't see any reason to do it, but regardless of what you feel about, maybe you're the
00:38:06.940 most pro-legalized pot person in the world, surely you don't think that the political issue will be
00:38:12.760 resolved by just banning the word because it's racist. Why is it racist? Well, because it's a
00:38:18.120 Spanish word. Why is it a Spanish word? Because it comes from Latin America. That's why. It's not,
00:38:23.040 it's not like marijuana was discovered in, I don't know, Boston, right? It's not, it's not as though
00:38:29.660 this, it was discovered in Liverpool. No, it comes, that's the area that it comes from.
00:38:33.600 And it's not, but the word racist gets you off the hook for anything.
00:38:38.400 The word race, if you just invoke racism, no matter how tenuous the argument is, that will get you off
00:38:44.660 the hook for anything. That is the magical word. It's how the libs have been able to destroy our
00:38:50.660 drug laws, our criminal justice system, our immigration system. It's been how they've been
00:38:56.080 able to, our equal protection. It's how they've been able to destroy even fairness in hiring and
00:39:02.260 college admissions. They say that if you don't support racial quotas for certain groups, and if
00:39:06.900 you don't support giving a boost to certain people on the color of their race, then you're a racist.
00:39:11.700 So they just use the word racist and they bandied about and they get whatever they want because
00:39:15.040 they've capped conservatives into submission. Well, there's one area, speaking of using racism as
00:39:21.800 a cudgel and speaking of Latin America, there's one area where that leftist political agenda is
00:39:27.060 apparently on hold for now. That is down at our southern border with regard to Title 42. Title 42
00:39:33.060 was a way that the Trump administration was able to curtail, to some degree, illegal immigration to
00:39:40.320 America because they said, look, if you're going to lock down all the American citizens because of this
00:39:44.600 pandemic, then surely you've got to put some more restrictions on the southern border, right? It's
00:39:49.220 insane. You're telling me that an American citizen can't go down the street to 7-Eleven without wearing
00:39:53.980 a hazmat suit, but you're just going to let millions of foreign nationals unvetted pour over
00:39:58.540 our border without any question? No, you can't do that. And so this was in place. The Biden
00:40:02.280 administration still wants to keep American citizens locked down, but they want to keep
00:40:06.600 that border open. They're moving to keep that border open. They're trying to lift Title 42 and a
00:40:12.060 federal judge just shot them down. Federal judge in Louisiana has issued a temporary restraining order
00:40:18.160 against the Biden administration, forbidding it from moving ahead with its plan to end Title 42.
00:40:23.980 This is Judge Robert Summerhays of the Western District of Louisiana. He issued this just
00:40:30.380 yesterday, but unfortunately, it's just temporary. The odds that this actually lasts pretty low
00:40:37.840 because the libs have all the power here. Okay, they've got the administrative state. They've got
00:40:45.160 the elected government. They've got the media. They've got everything. Okay, and so there is not going
00:40:53.320 to be any fix to the southern border and to our immigration system until conservatives grab hold
00:41:01.080 of more institutions of power. It's not going to be enough to win back the House. That's not going to
00:41:05.280 do it. It's not going to be enough to win back the Senate. That's not going to do it. It's not going
00:41:08.720 to be enough to win back the presidency. We had unified government under Donald Trump. Illegal
00:41:14.120 immigration dropped dramatically right when Trump was elected and we had unified government for the
00:41:21.060 Republicans, but then very quickly it became clear that that wasn't enough. And so that wasn't actually
00:41:26.180 going to lead to the construction of a full border wall or to a limitation of immigration. And so then
00:41:30.560 you saw the immigration numbers pop right back up. We can argue it all day. We can write long essays.
00:41:35.100 We can have big, robust debates. But unless conservatives go in and actually capture
00:41:39.680 those institutions of government and media and corporation and finance and education and all of
00:41:47.800 them, unless we capture those institutions and wield that political power, it's not going to matter.
00:41:52.860 You can make the most eloquent argument in the world. It's not going to do Jack Diddley.
00:41:57.100 The libs are flaunting their political power and they're doing it through their hypocrisy. A lot of
00:42:03.540 times conservatives point out liberal hypocrisy, whether it's in education, whether it's COVID
00:42:08.720 especially. We point out the hypocrisy and we say, if the shoe were on the other foot,
00:42:12.460 can you imagine if the roles were reversed? Look at this outrageous hypocrisy.
00:42:17.140 We're not telling the libs anything they don't know. They know about the hypocrisy.
00:42:22.820 They're flaunting it. It is the proof that they have almost absolute power in the United States.
00:42:29.700 The fact that they can behave in a hypocritical way, the fact that Fauci doesn't wear his mask,
00:42:33.540 but he forces all of you to wear your masks. That is a feature, not a bug of the system.
00:42:40.760 That is a way to say, I'm in charge. What are you going to do about it, punk?
00:42:45.540 Pete Buttigieg is doing this right now. Pete Buttigieg just went on Fox News. He was asked
00:42:50.860 about the White House Correspondent Association dinner. And he said, hold on.
00:42:55.920 Brett Baer, who was asking him the question, said, hold on.
00:42:58.180 All you Democrats are arguing that we need to reinstate the airplane mask mandate. We need to
00:43:04.460 reinstate the public transportation mandate. And yet you're going to cram hundreds of libs into a
00:43:08.740 tiny little ballroom in Washington, D.C. And none of you are going to be wearing your masks.
00:43:12.900 No mandate for the liberal elites in D.C. Lots of mandates for all the other Americans.
00:43:18.620 What gives? Here's Pete's answer.
00:43:19.840 If you're sitting at home, you just told me you're going to the White House Correspondents
00:43:23.920 Dinner. The president's going to the White House Correspondents Dinner. You're not mandated to wear
00:43:28.040 a mask there. But the administration at the same time is fighting a lawsuit to mandate people on
00:43:33.260 planes, trains and buses to wear masks. So if you're sitting at home, there's a disconnect here.
00:43:42.000 Well, I think most of us understand the difference between a hotel ballroom
00:43:45.800 and an airplane. And again, a lot of this is about what authorities the CDC has.
00:43:52.000 Buttigieg accidentally told on himself. That's what the liberals have been doing so often,
00:43:55.840 because what he's insinuating here is, but most Americans, listen, come on, guys, come on. I'm
00:44:00.380 reasonable Pete Buttigieg. Hi, I'm reasonable, radical Pete Buttigieg. We know the difference,
00:44:06.260 the scientific and medical difference between an airplane and a ballroom. He's insinuating that the
00:44:10.420 airplane is much more dangerous for spreading COVID than a ballroom or a hotel or a restaurant.
00:44:14.700 And that's just not true. It's just not borne out by the data. That has never been true.
00:44:18.460 Airplanes have been some of the safest places during the entirety of the COVID pandemic.
00:44:22.940 Part of this is because airplanes are getting fresh air constantly. People expected airplanes to be
00:44:27.300 big hotspots for spreading the virus, and they just never were. Whereas large gatherings of people
00:44:34.360 indoors without fresh air constantly circulating, those have been big areas. Hotel ballrooms have been
00:44:40.340 big areas of spread for COVID. So yeah, here's the difference. If you're going to wear the mask at
00:44:47.180 all, you should wear it in the hotel ballroom. You shouldn't wear it on the airplane. But the real
00:44:51.140 difference between the airplane and the hotel ballroom is that in the White House Correspondents
00:44:55.740 Association dinner ballroom, you're going to have a bunch of liberal DC elites. And in the airplane,
00:45:01.380 you're just going to have ordinary Americans. And the ordinary Americans have to follow
00:45:06.100 extra rules and different rules than the DC elites. I think most Americans can tell the difference.
00:45:13.940 Yeah, right. They can tell the difference. We can. And he's flaunting it. Well, the difference is
00:45:18.840 I get to do whatever the hell I want, and you don't because you're a dirty, filthy peasant. And I don't
00:45:24.880 want your germs, but I don't have germs because I'm Pete Buttigieg. And we can all agree that I'm a clean,
00:45:30.900 beautiful, wonderful person. And you're not. You're filth. You're disgusting. Cover up your face,
00:45:35.160 you dirty rat peasant. That's what he's saying. And what are we going to do about it? What are we
00:45:40.320 going to do? The conservative response has been, hey, do what you want. If New York wants a mask
00:45:46.460 mandate, that's fine. And if you, by the way, if you have the country, if you want to wear masks in
00:45:50.940 public, that's fine. You do you. Live and let live. That's fine by me. Just don't make me do it. Just
00:45:55.560 leave me alone. The one thing I will say for having people voluntarily wear masks on airplanes is it does
00:46:02.180 tell you with 100% certainty exactly who the libs are on your flight, which can be very helpful.
00:46:07.940 But we need to go further. We need to say no. It's actually disordered to have a society full of
00:46:13.760 banditos. It's not good. We're not Saudi Arabia. We don't think people should cover up their faces
00:46:18.940 all the time in public. So no, actually, outside of extremely rare circumstances, don't do that.
00:46:25.620 Just don't. You should be actively discouraged from doing that. The Oklahoma governor, on a sort of
00:46:30.680 completely different issue, but same political principle, the Oklahoma governor just outlawed
00:46:35.220 the non-binary sex option on birth certificates. Some legislatures, I guess, have been suggesting a
00:46:43.380 third option on birth certificates, whether you put this down when the baby is born or later on,
00:46:47.740 they can change it. The text of the law requires the biological sex designation on a birth certificate
00:46:52.940 to be either male or female. It prohibits people from changing the sex on their birth certificates.
00:46:57.680 That's very important. That's what we have to do. We need to go in and say no. We need to go in and
00:47:02.400 set the rules. I think I'm now, I'm remembering, I think it might've been our own McIntyre. It was
00:47:06.380 somebody though, somebody on Twitter or somewhere who made this point that the party that does
00:47:10.980 something is always going to beat the party that just wants to be left alone. So what is it? What is
00:47:16.200 it that we want to do? I'm glad. Elon Musk freed up our speech a little bit, for now at least. Good. I'm
00:47:22.100 glad we've got that free speech now. So what are we going to do with it? What are we going to say?
00:47:26.220 What standards are we going to set? I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show. See
00:47:29.800 you tomorrow.

00:48:19.200 Today on The Matt Wall Show, Amazon pulls some dirty tricks to suppress and censor my children's
00:48:24.400 book, but it still manages to become the number one book in the entire country. Also, Joe Biden
00:48:28.520 is considering a Hail Mary pass before the midterms, student loan forgiveness. We'll talk
00:48:33.180 about why that is a horrible idea. And speaking of horrible ideas, Joe Biden also tells a group
00:48:37.420 of teachers that the kids in their classrooms are their kids, not somebody else's kids. The
00:48:42.340 kids belong to them. Also, Hollywood actress Megan Fox proudly discusses her satanic blood-drinking
00:48:48.700 rituals. But I was told Satanism in Hollywood is a conspiracy theory. We'll talk about all
00:48:53.020 that and more today on The Matt Wall Show.
