00:00:35.700 Good Ranchers, American meat delivered.

00:00:37.680 According to White House propagandists, we are in the midst of the greatest economic recovery in the history of the world.

00:00:46.020 According to our lying eyes, the economy is in the gutter.

00:00:50.640 According to America's first quarter economic numbers, our lying eyes are right.

00:00:56.980 GDP, first look, first quarter, is a nasty minus 1.4.

00:01:02.820 Minus 1.4.

00:01:05.300 We haven't had a minus sign since that nasty second quarter COVID-related in 2020.

00:01:11.540 Let's go through it.

00:01:12.360 Consumption drops to 2.7, well below expectations.

00:01:16.940 Although, sequentially, it's actually higher than last time, which was 2.5.

00:01:21.940 The pricing index, buckle up, 8%, 8%.

00:01:27.780 That is unbelievable to find a higher number than 8%.

00:01:32.360 You have to go back to 1981.

00:01:35.080 And if you look at the personal consumption expenditure quarter over quarter, that was up 5.2.

00:01:41.720 Now, that isn't so bad because the high watermark there is actually 6.1 from June of last year.

00:01:47.280 And that took us back to 1983.

00:01:50.460 So GDP is way up.

00:01:53.080 Sorry.

00:01:54.060 GDP is way down.

00:01:56.320 Prices are way up.

00:01:58.360 Household spending is way up.

00:02:00.220 Each of those things separately, very bad.

00:02:02.920 Together, absolutely terrible.

00:02:05.220 CNBC is reporting these numbers as unexpected.

00:02:09.080 It's always unexpected when liberal economic policies fail.

00:02:15.040 It's not unexpected by me.

00:02:17.320 It's not unexpected by you.

00:02:20.440 But to the supposed experts, it is always unexpected.

00:02:24.660 Just like it's always unexpected when conservative economic policies work.

00:02:29.800 So that's CNBC's line.

00:02:31.760 Unexpected, aberration, totally weird.

00:02:34.740 The New York Times is taking a different tack to cover for the Biden administration.

00:02:39.080 And that is to say that the dismal economic numbers are actually a good thing.

00:02:47.100 Breaking news, reports the New York Times.

00:02:50.960 The US economy shrank in the first quarter, but the numbers may mask the recovery's resilience.

00:02:59.160 The GDP has collapsed.

00:03:01.180 The record inflation, the soaring gas prices, the soaring food prices.

00:03:07.940 That's all just an illusion, you see.

00:03:10.040 Great and glorious leader Joe Biden is secretly taking care of all the people.

00:03:14.540 And he is the greatest and most popular president in the history of the world.

00:03:17.940 And he won 85 bazillion votes.

00:03:21.640 We all joke about the absurd propaganda that comes out of North Korea, comes out of China, comes out of Russia.

00:03:27.980 Pravda, at the height of the Soviet Union, had nothing on the New York Times.

00:03:33.520 Actually, the New York Times was also covering for the Soviets at the height of the Soviet Union.

00:03:38.880 I have bad news for you, and the fact checkers can censor me for saying it if they want to, but it's the truth.

00:03:46.800 The economy is not in recovery.

00:03:49.240 Joe Biden's policies have been catastrophic, and none of this is unexpected.

00:03:54.980 In fact, you can mark my prediction now, before Biden's economy gets better, you can expect it to get a whole lot worse.

00:04:02.340 I'm Michael Knowles, this is The Michael Knowles Show.

00:04:12.100 Welcome back to the show.

00:04:13.320 My favorite comment yesterday is from Conversion Ninjas, who said,

00:04:16.400 The teacher union's next push will be smaller classrooms in the form of windowless vans filled with candy.

00:04:23.480 I think that's probably a pretty good guess, given the way things are going with some of that prurient content in the classroom.

00:04:32.720 Speaking of those sorts of things, I actually, I do want to talk to you about how to relax, chill out,

00:04:41.780 let all the stress of this crazy political cycle just melt away when you go to sleep on your beautiful Helix mattress.

00:04:50.120 Right now, go to helixsleep.com slash Knowles and enter my boudoir and take a little look-see at my bed.

00:04:57.940 Sit down, please enter to my bed, but actually not my bed.

00:05:02.140 That's kind of the whole point.

00:05:03.140 You shouldn't be sleeping on a bed that was made for someone else.

00:05:06.180 You are unique.

00:05:07.360 You deserve a bed that was made for you.

00:05:08.880 Helix can do it.

00:05:09.600 Helix Sleep, as a quiz that takes two minutes to complete, matches your body type and sleep preferences to the perfect mattress for you.

00:05:16.760 Why buy one made for someone else?

00:05:19.160 With Helix, you know that you are getting a mattress made for the way that you sleep.

00:05:22.560 Whether you prefer a soft mattress, a medium mattress, a firm mattress, whether you want to be cooled down a little bit because you sleep a little bit hot,

00:05:31.040 whether you've got some spinal alignment issues, maybe you want a plus-size mattress for plus-size sleepers.

00:05:36.780 Helix has it for you.

00:05:38.940 They will match you to the perfect mattress.

00:05:41.060 Mattress comes right to your door, comes shipped, no big deal.

00:05:44.860 If you do not like it, they've got a 10-year warranty.

00:05:48.020 You can try it out for 100 nights.

00:05:49.640 You're going to love it, though, so none of that even matters.

00:05:51.860 Helix is offering up to $200 off all mattress orders.

00:05:55.020 Two free pillows for our listeners at helixsleep.com slash Knowles.

00:05:58.500 That's helixsleep.com slash K-O-W-L-E-S.

00:06:02.020 The disinformation is at least as intense as anything we've ever seen in the world,

00:06:10.360 but it's not coming only from tinpot dictators on the other side of the globe.

00:06:14.640 It's coming from the New York Times.

00:06:16.360 Economy looks like it's in terrible shape according to every single metric, but actually that is good

00:06:22.980 news for Joe Biden.

00:06:24.540 Really good news.

00:06:25.420 Strong Joe Biden recovery at the very same time that the White House has established a disinformation

00:06:30.160 board.

00:06:30.680 If the White House really were going to establish an actual disinformation board that were out to

00:06:37.040 suppress disinformation, the New York Times would not exist today.

00:06:41.080 The New York Times would, the entire newspaper would be disbanded.

00:06:45.200 The building would be reduced to rubble.

00:06:47.320 They would salt the earth where the building once stood.

00:06:50.480 But the disinformation board that the White House is setting up is not really seeking to stop

00:06:56.060 disinformation.

00:06:57.260 The disinformation board is seeking to spread disinformation.

00:07:00.080 And stop true information from getting out.

00:07:02.920 The way we know this is because the woman who was named to lead the disinformation board

00:07:07.120 was a major purveyor of disinformation during the 2020 election.

00:07:11.120 This woman propagated the claim that the Hunter Biden laptop was not legitimate, was Russian

00:07:17.880 disinformation.

00:07:18.660 It wasn't real and all the evidence of the Biden family's crimes, nothing to see here.

00:07:22.980 It was totally fake.

00:07:24.060 Please ignore it.

00:07:25.440 Turned out that wasn't true.

00:07:26.520 Now, even the liberals will admit that the Hunter Biden laptop was totally legit.

00:07:32.400 There are some legitimate questions about Hunter's dealings in Ukraine, Hunter's dealings in China,

00:07:37.560 and more importantly, Joe Biden's dealings in those places.

00:07:40.740 The 10% equity that was being kicked back to the big guy.

00:07:44.040 The $5 million, more than $5 million discrepancy on Joe Biden's financial disclosures.

00:07:49.480 They'll admit that now after the presidential election when it doesn't matter.

00:07:52.600 But at the time, the woman leading the disinfo board today was pushing all of that disinformation. 1.00

00:07:58.040 Jen Psaki was just asked about this.

00:07:59.580 A reporter said, hey, hold on, isn't it a little weird that you've got this peddler of disinfo

00:08:03.820 running the disinfo board?

00:08:05.920 Jen Psaki didn't have much of an answer. 0.97

00:08:09.000 She had previously called the Hunter Biden laptop a Trump campaign product,

00:08:14.300 seeming to discredit its validity or validity of reporting surrounding that.

00:08:21.360 How can you assuage concerns of people who are looking at this person who's been appointed to this position

00:08:27.080 and wondering if she's going to be able to accurately judge misinformation

00:08:30.700 now that a lot of that reporting has been proven to be factual in some ways?

00:08:37.600 Well, I don't have any comments on the laptop, but what I can tell you is that it sounds like

00:08:42.220 the objective of the board is to prevent disinformation and misinformation from

00:08:46.680 traveling around the country in a range of communities.

00:08:49.240 I'm not sure who opposes that effort.

00:08:52.280 Even Jen Psaki's response is disinformation, because what she said is obviously not true.

00:08:57.420 She said, one, I'm not going to talk about the laptop because it exposes the corruption of my boss.

00:09:01.580 So I'm just not going to talk about it, even though it's a very important news story.

00:09:04.760 But two, she says, well, look, it sounds like the purpose of the board is to stop disinformation.

00:09:12.080 It doesn't sound like that at all.

00:09:14.620 If it sounded like that, then the person picked to lead the board would not be one of the big peddlers

00:09:19.520 of disinformation, which is the point of the question.

00:09:21.700 So what it sounds like to me is that the point of the board is to encourage disinformation,

00:09:26.220 which means suppressing conservatives, suppressing real true news stories,

00:09:31.060 and just spouting the party line from the ruling class. 0.81

00:09:35.840 That's what it sounds like to me.

00:09:37.380 And I don't know who would ever oppose that.

00:09:40.220 You're the ones opposing that.

00:09:41.720 That's what you're doing.

00:09:43.560 You are the people that you are accusing of spreading disinformation.

00:09:47.740 And you know it.

00:09:48.460 She knows it. 1.00

00:09:49.360 She's not a stupid woman, Jen Psaki. 1.00

00:09:52.000 I don't know. 1.00

00:09:52.720 I can't really speak to Joe Biden.

00:09:54.020 He doesn't seem like he's got all of his marbles.

00:09:55.640 And he was never the brightest bulb in the shed, to mix metaphors. 0.99

00:09:58.580 But the people who are running the establishment, they're not stupid people. 0.97

00:10:03.400 Mayorkas at DHS, the army of faceless bureaucrats who run the actual government, 1.00

00:10:10.420 they're not stupid people. 0.99

00:10:12.040 They know what they're doing. 0.99

00:10:13.540 And they know what the effect of this will be.

00:10:15.420 Is it any coincidence that they announce the disinformation governance board, what,

00:10:21.320 three days after Elon Musk announces that the libs aren't going to have a complete and

00:10:26.420 total monopoly on big tech?

00:10:29.080 Previously, the libs had a total monopoly over the flow of information around the country.

00:10:34.360 Then Elon Musk comes in and he says, I'm going to give conservatives free speech.

00:10:37.080 Three days later, the government says, yeah, we're going to have a disinformation board.

00:10:40.560 Is that a coincidence?

00:10:41.700 I don't think so.

00:10:43.180 Speaking of disinformation, and speaking of my predictive powers,

00:10:47.560 the dark magic of Noel Stradamus predicting the future.

00:10:50.640 Yesterday on this show, I talked about how one of the silliest lines in public discourse

00:10:56.520 is this line when people who have 17,000 vaccines and booster shots and took the jab and they're

00:11:03.520 really bought in on the whole COVID regime.

00:11:06.180 And then they contract COVID, which they weren't supposed to do if they got the vaccine.

00:11:11.020 Remember Fauci, Walensky, Biden all said, if you get the vaccine, you won't catch COVID

00:11:14.820 and you won't spread COVID either.

00:11:16.840 And then what happens?

00:11:18.240 They catch COVID.

00:11:19.160 And then the line they always use is, well, thank goodness I got the vaccine.

00:11:24.680 They say, why?

00:11:25.120 You got COVID.

00:11:25.680 They said, no, well, it would have been a lot worse if I didn't have the vaccine.

00:11:30.320 What do they base that on?

00:11:31.440 Pretty much nothing.

00:11:32.300 So Maxine Waters tested positive for COVID.

00:11:35.040 We wish her a speedy recovery.

00:11:37.480 Here's what she said.

00:11:38.040 Today, I've received a positive test result for COVID.

00:11:41.380 I'm currently isolating and have no symptoms.

00:11:44.180 Just like most people who catch COVID has no symptoms at all.

00:11:47.240 I am following all protocols as recommended by the Office of the Attending Physician and CDC guidance.

00:11:52.080 I'm grateful to be fully vaccinated and to receive two booster shots.

00:11:56.420 Thankfully, I'm feeling fine and recommend everyone get vaccinated if you've not done so already.

00:12:01.460 So call me old-fashioned.

00:12:05.800 But when I was growing up, what a vaccine meant was a vaccine was a medical intervention to prevent you from contracting a malady.

00:12:14.920 That's what the definition of a vaccine is.

00:12:18.120 And that's what our entire ruling class promised us that this vaccine was going to do for COVID.

00:12:23.140 And then that didn't happen.

00:12:24.620 The vaccine didn't actually do that.

00:12:26.400 And so they changed their story.

00:12:27.640 And they said that a vaccine actually does not seek to stop you from contracting or spreading a virus.

00:12:32.620 It just seeks to mitigate the symptoms, which is not what a vaccine is.

00:12:35.580 You could call that a pre-contraction therapeutic.

00:12:40.920 You could call it medicine you take before you catch the thing. 0.94

00:12:44.600 But what they are spreading is very silly misinformation.

00:12:50.840 Is your home's title still in your name?

00:12:52.640 With one forged document, scammers can steal your home title and equity.

00:12:56.320 But now you can protect yourself.

00:12:57.780 Home Title Locks at Million Dollar Triple Lock Protection provides 24-7 title monitoring, urgent alerts to changes,

00:13:03.220 and if fraud happens, they'll spend up to a million dollars to fix it and restore your title.

00:13:15.860 Head over to HOMETITLELock.com now with promo code DAILYWIRE to ensure your title is still in your name.

00:13:20.840 They're not persuading anybody.

00:13:25.500 Our genius ruling liberal elites are not persuading anybody.

00:13:30.700 That's why they've got to control the narrative.

00:13:32.560 That's why they've got to censor conservatives. 0.98

00:13:34.340 That's why they've got to control the algorithms on social media.

00:13:36.920 That's why they've got to control the establishment news media and Hollywood. 1.00

00:13:40.500 They have to do it because they're not really persuading anyone.

00:13:43.540 And so their views are not going to become popular organically, if they can ever become popular at all.

00:13:49.060 It has to be done by force.

00:13:51.620 This is why the minute that conservatives get even a little foothold into social media, the whole narrative shifts.

00:13:58.860 This actually began in the early days of social media.

00:14:01.680 In the very early days, the late 2000s and then early 20-teens,

00:14:05.660 conservatives absolutely crushed it on social media because they'd been kept out of the establishment media for so many decades.

00:14:13.180 At the moment that there was a chance for conservatives to spread a message, it spread like wildfire.

00:14:17.500 And then this led pretty much directly to Donald Trump getting elected president.

00:14:23.220 He was sort of memed into the presidency.

00:14:25.340 And right after that, all the libs lobbied the big tech companies.

00:14:28.560 And they said, you can't let this happen again.

00:14:30.120 Conservatives are doing too well on your platform.

00:14:31.740 They suppressed the conservatives.

00:14:32.780 Elon announces that he's going to take over Twitter and make it fairer for conservatives.

00:14:37.360 Overnight, conservative accounts jump by leaps and bounds.

00:14:39.740 I've gained something like 80,000 followers in the past few days on Twitter.

00:14:44.540 And it's not just bots.

00:14:45.540 It's people engaging with me.

00:14:46.600 It's blue check marks who are verified humans.

00:14:48.920 Just the moment that conservatives get any shot at a fair break, the message spreads much more clearly.

00:14:55.740 Why?

00:14:56.060 Because look at the spokesman who the left has.

00:14:59.440 Not only are the claims that they're making preposterous, they're saying the economy's in recovery.

00:15:04.780 When we all go to the gas tank, we all, or the gas pump rather, we all go to the grocery store.

00:15:09.800 We all see that the economy's not doing great.

00:15:13.040 We, they say that immigration's just fine. 0.99

00:15:15.660 We know it's not fine.

00:15:16.520 We've got millions of people pouring over the border.

00:15:18.440 They say foreign affairs are much better.

00:15:20.020 Thank goodness the adults are in charge.

00:15:21.260 What are you talking about?

00:15:21.860 We have the first major war in Europe since World War II.

00:15:24.500 We, we see facts on the ground things are not going well.

00:15:28.140 Education's great.

00:15:28.780 Oh yeah, because you're transing five-year-olds. 0.99

00:15:30.680 So I don't think that's great. 0.99

00:15:32.100 You're reading porn to little kids in elementary school. 0.93

00:15:34.820 I don't think that's great. 0.99

00:15:36.560 You're telling white kids that they're evil by virtue of their race through critical race theory.

00:15:41.980 I don't think that's great.

00:15:43.720 Parents don't think that that's great around the country.

00:15:45.640 So we see the facts on the ground.

00:15:47.980 But then just look at their spokesman.

00:15:50.380 You've got Joe Biden.

00:15:51.680 He is the most prominent Democrat in the country, president of the United States.

00:15:54.740 Here is the kind of soaring Periclean rhetoric that we're getting from President Joe Biden.

00:15:59.700 I'm also sending to Congress a comprehensive package that will enhance our underlying effort

00:16:06.960 to accommodate the Russian oligarchs and make sure we take their, take their, their ill-begotten gains. 0.88

00:16:14.440 We're going to accommodate them.

00:16:15.960 We're going to seize their yachts, their luxury homes, and other ill-begotten gains of Putin's

00:16:22.020 kleptocracy and the guys who are the kleptocracies.

00:16:31.900 But these are bad guys.

00:16:34.900 Ha ha ha ha ha.

00:16:36.840 Now, you know what the Democrats do.

00:16:38.380 When Joe Biden just stumbles over his own words, has no idea what he's saying, can't

00:16:43.180 pronounce certain words, uses words in a way that don't make any sense whatsoever, repeats

00:16:48.220 himself within the very same breath.

00:16:50.120 When they, when he does all of that, when he shows obvious signs of cognitive decline,

00:16:54.500 the libs say, oh, well, you know, that's his childhood stutter.

00:16:58.140 That's what they say.

00:16:58.900 They, they trotted this line out during the 2020 election.

00:17:03.380 And specifically at the Democrat National Convention in 2020, they had to explain Joe Biden's obvious

00:17:08.720 senility.

00:17:09.820 And so they said, well, it's because of this childhood stutter.

00:17:12.800 And the libs just went with that. 0.99

00:17:14.340 They said, yes, it's the childhood stutter.

00:17:15.800 I actually, I had liberal friends and relatives tell me, they said, no, Michael, you know, what

00:17:19.680 we hear is that's just the way Joe Biden always was.

00:17:22.820 What are you talking about?

00:17:23.780 Biden's been in politics for 50 years.

00:17:25.480 You know what he always was.

00:17:26.760 Did you forget so soon?

00:17:28.240 This is obviously a market change.

00:17:30.020 They say, no, no, just a childhood stutter.

00:17:32.120 What, a childhood stutter that disappeared for 70 years and then just came back in the

00:17:36.980 man's late 70s, roaring with a vengeance?

00:17:40.680 No, of course not.

00:17:41.720 That's insane.

00:17:43.680 It cannot be overstated how dramatic the cognitive decline of Joe Biden has been in recent years.

00:17:50.860 Just to compare it, I'm just picking a clip at random.

00:17:54.020 There's a clip that was going around the internet.

00:17:55.940 This is Joe Biden 20 years ago yelling at a US Marine while he was senator from Delaware.

00:18:00.600 The context actually doesn't really matter.

00:18:02.620 Listen to this man and tell me that the only thing that's wrong with Joe Biden today is

00:18:06.640 a cognitive, is a, is a childhood stutter.

00:18:09.440 I respectfully suggest they have a responsibility slightly above your pay grade, slightly above

00:18:16.300 your pay grade to decide whether or not to take the nation to war alone or to take the

00:18:23.000 nation to war partway or to take the nation to war half halfway.

00:18:27.560 Anyway, that's a real tough decision.

00:18:30.020 That's why they get paid the big bucks.

00:18:31.780 That's why they get the limos and you don't.

00:18:34.120 I mean this sincerely.

00:18:35.120 I'm not trying to be flip because I think, and that's what I said at the outset, the reason

00:18:40.520 why I'm glad you did what you did, we should come to our milk.

00:18:46.320 We should make a decision.

00:18:48.020 But in terms of whether the secretary of state has no more to consider than you do as the

00:18:55.920 arms inspector, you didn't get in, didn't get my job done, get me in, period.

00:19:01.800 You made the deal, right?

00:19:02.800 That's the deal.

00:19:03.400 A deal's a deal.

00:19:04.220 Get me in.

00:19:05.240 Scott Ritter, I'm ready to go.

00:19:07.140 It's not how it works. 0.85

00:19:08.020 So Joe Biden is the same nasty man that he's been his whole career.

00:19:13.720 We kind of forget that because he's created this image. 0.79

00:19:16.340 Really, the establishment media have created this image of nice old happy Uncle Joe licking

00:19:20.480 an ice cream cone.

00:19:21.380 He's not a nice guy. 0.98

00:19:22.340 He's a very, very nasty man who's done very nasty things throughout his career. 0.85

00:19:26.420 And he always uses weird phrases. 0.95

00:19:28.640 That's nothing new either.

00:19:29.840 Got to come to our milk, okay?

00:19:31.020 And so those sort of weird colloquialisms, folky sayings, that has been part of Joe's

00:19:36.660 career too.

00:19:38.560 But that's not what we're seeing.

00:19:39.620 When Joe Biden says, then the Russian yachts and the kleppy, kleptum, Winona Ryder and the

00:19:48.200 anyway, bad guys, huh?

00:19:51.980 When he does that, it's not a stutter that's happening, okay?

00:19:54.940 It's not just some lifelong speech affliction that he's had.

00:19:58.340 It's because he's in clear, clear cognitive decline.

00:20:02.400 He's got one one thousandth the energy today that he had 20 years ago.

00:20:06.240 Forget 20 years ago, five years ago, six years ago during the Biden administration or during

00:20:10.680 the Obama administration rather.

00:20:12.920 When he was the vice president, Biden had much more energy and acuity.

00:20:18.140 He's never been the brightest bulb in the pack, but he at least had a kind of political

00:20:21.580 sharpness.

00:20:22.360 That's gone.

00:20:23.600 That's totally gone.

00:20:24.700 And he seems vacant.

00:20:26.340 He seems very much in trouble.

00:20:29.520 So he's just a vessel.

00:20:30.880 He's an empty suit to run the show at the whims of the liberal establishment.

00:20:37.800 And things are not going very well as a result.

00:20:40.920 And the libs are, they seem happy about it.

00:20:43.380 They say, no, it's actually a good thing.

00:20:44.460 It's a good thing that your gas prices are way up.

00:20:48.300 It's actually a sign of a strong economy when you really think about it, when you really think

00:20:51.840 about it in the long term, Mark Ruffalo, the liberal actor, is making this argument explicitly.

00:20:57.500 He's saying the high gas prices, that's a good thing.

00:20:59.940 He's going even further.

00:21:01.020 He's saying the war in Ukraine is a gift to Joe Biden because that'll spike the price of gas

00:21:08.620 and that will give Biden an opportunity to move to a green agenda.

00:21:12.340 This is a moment for President Biden to take this, our momentum, people's fear, they're

00:21:21.980 disgust with the war, they're disgust with energy prices, and use that to solidify a message

00:21:28.700 to the American people that now is the time to transition.

00:21:31.540 This is where the jobs are.

00:21:32.920 This is where national security is.

00:21:34.580 And we are going to keep pushing him to do it.

00:21:37.000 And this is a gift to the president as we see it.

00:21:39.880 And we see him accepting it in such terms.

00:21:43.100 This is a gift.

00:21:44.340 Now, did Mark Ruffalo consciously mean to say that it's a good thing that Ukrainians are dying? 1.00

00:21:51.280 And Russian soldiers, I guess, too.

00:21:52.640 Did he mean to say it's a good thing that thousands and thousands of people are dying

00:21:56.300 because now we can fight the sun monster?

00:21:59.540 No, I don't think consciously he meant to say that, but that's what he said.

00:22:02.960 That's what that means.

00:22:04.220 This war in Ukraine, it's a gift. 1.00

00:22:05.660 It's a gift, and Biden can really make the most of it.

00:22:09.120 That's what he's saying.

00:22:10.180 What he's saying is something that liberals have said and believed for a very long time,

00:22:18.100 which is that people are the problem, which is that nature, whatever we mean by nature,

00:22:25.980 is much more important than people.

00:22:28.120 The traditional view of our relationship to the created world is that we are stewards of it,

00:22:32.420 that the world is for us, for our delight, and we have to be responsible stewards of that.

00:22:38.240 And what the left has done is flipped that entirely.

00:22:40.840 According to the left, we are not the highest of creation, such that the birds of the air

00:22:46.920 and the fowl and the fish of the sea, that's all for us.

00:22:50.620 No. 0.99

00:22:51.920 They flipped it such that human beings are parasites on the earth. 1.00

00:22:55.400 We're destroying nature. 0.99

00:22:57.620 The animals and the trees, they're not for us.

00:23:00.300 We need to serve them.

00:23:01.980 We're a plague.

00:23:03.120 We've got to thin out our numbers.

00:23:05.020 We've got to stop doing stuff.

00:23:07.380 And you know, if some people get killed so that gas goes up and increases more suffering

00:23:12.880 for people who can't heat their homes and who can't fill their gas tanks, well, hey,

00:23:16.640 that actually, that's probably a pretty good thing, because that'll force the people to move

00:23:21.280 to solar energy or windmills or whatever, that's what they really believe.

00:23:26.560 And it's not because of any scientific argument or anything like that.

00:23:30.200 It's just because they don't like people.

00:23:31.880 They care a lot about humanity in the abstract, but they don't care about actual people.

00:23:36.740 It comes down to as simple an idea as that.

00:23:40.440 Conservatives, pro-human, pro-people on lots of issues, on abortion, on environmentalism,

00:23:46.780 on everything, on the family, and the left, anti-people.

00:23:51.280 You know what I love about our partnership with Helix Sleep?

00:23:54.100 They understand that better sleep means better days.

00:24:17.660 Start sleeping better tonight.

00:24:21.280 There's a woman who's gone viral, a pro-abortion activist who's gone viral,

00:24:26.880 thanks, of course, to our friends at Libs of TikTok,

00:24:29.540 for defending the use of aborted babies to make biofuel.

00:24:39.060 Aborted babies being burned and then used for electricity?

00:24:41.840 The real answer to that question is nobody really f***ing cares, actually. 0.91

00:24:47.120 You could bake them, fillet them, fricassee them, barbecue, roast.

00:24:53.260 You could broil them, pan fry them.

00:24:55.960 I do not care.

00:24:58.120 And let's be honest here. 0.97

00:24:59.280 If we could burn those suckers for actual, like, lights and power, 0.88

00:25:03.660 I feel like we're on to something. 0.79

00:25:05.180 You guys are so anti-solar.

00:25:08.720 Here you go.

00:25:10.040 It's a resource we're going to have no matter what.

00:25:13.300 But, I mean, really, though?

00:25:15.860 This is what you guys are pushing now?

00:25:19.820 They're burning fetuses for fuel? 0.79

00:25:24.140 I mean, it's better than going into a landfill, though, right?

00:25:29.140 So this demon is making some conflicting arguments here.

00:25:32.520 The first point is she's doubting the veracity of what that pro-life activist at the top is saying,

00:25:37.260 namely that abortion activists are sending aborted babies to bio-waste facilities to be turned into biofuel. 0.57

00:25:46.100 She says, that's your line now?

00:25:47.740 You're saying that's really happening?

00:25:48.780 Yes, that is really happening.

00:25:50.780 I can at least say that has happened.

00:25:53.860 I am strongly inclined to believe that that is still happening.

00:25:56.900 But at the very least, even liberal media outlets, very established liberal media outlets,

00:26:01.380 I've got the CBC right here, have admitted that it has happened.

00:26:05.500 Tissue, fetal tissue, aborted babies have been sent to bio-waste processing facilities to be turned into energy.

00:26:15.520 That has happened.

00:26:17.460 Okay, so just on her factual claims, yes, that is happening.

00:26:20.780 And then she says, well, I don't care if it's happening.

00:26:22.300 That's fine by me.

00:26:23.260 That's good.

00:26:23.600 Isn't that better than going to a landfill?

00:26:24.900 I don't know if it's better or worse than sending aborted babies to a landfill.

00:26:30.580 I think they should be buried and they should be given funerals because they've been killed and they're people and people deserve funerals.

00:26:37.820 And just like when your grandma or grandpa die, you're not going to leave them in the streets to be eaten by dogs and you're not going to send them to some dystopian facility to power your television set.

00:26:47.020 Just like you would treat them with respect because we recognize that there is something sort of sacred about a human body.

00:26:54.740 So, too, we should do the same thing with aborted babies, innocent little babies who have been killed.

00:26:59.900 And then she says the line to be provocative.

00:27:02.060 She says, I don't care what you do with them.

00:27:03.480 I don't care.

00:27:03.980 Fricassee them, saute them, fry them up.

00:27:06.340 I don't know.

00:27:06.560 What do I care?

00:27:08.300 And she's trying to be provocative, sure.

00:27:10.120 But I suspect she really believes this because her argument is it rests entirely on denying that the babies are babies.

00:27:17.100 They're not really human.

00:27:18.260 Well, of course they're human.

00:27:19.680 What do you think they are, platypuses?

00:27:20.900 No.

00:27:21.260 Well, they're not really individuals.

00:27:23.760 Of course they're individuals.

00:27:24.700 They have individual DNA.

00:27:25.760 They have individual human processes outside of the mother. 0.99

00:27:30.460 Even when they're connected by an umbilical cord, they have separate individual human processes.

00:27:34.360 Well, they're not really alive.

00:27:36.300 Of course they're alive. 1.00

00:27:37.100 That's why you have to kill them in order to have an abortion. 1.00

00:27:40.100 If they're not alive, then don't worry. 1.00

00:27:42.560 Don't have the abortion and nothing will happen, right? 1.00

00:27:44.360 Then, no, of course what will happen is they will continue to grow and then they will be born because they're alive.

00:27:49.920 So her argument rests on denying that and saying, well, it's just a clump of cells.

00:27:53.240 I don't care, whatever.

00:27:54.380 Fry them, fricassee them.

00:27:56.360 You sometimes hear this argument with regard to eating dogs.

00:27:59.900 We all know there's something wrong about eating dogs.

00:28:02.340 There's just something kind of wrong about it.

00:28:03.600 I don't even like dogs.

00:28:04.640 I'm a people person.

00:28:05.660 But I would not want to eat a dog.

00:28:08.020 There seems something wrong about eating an animal that has grown and been trained to be man's best friend, 1.00

00:28:13.480 to trust human beings, and then we turn on them and eat them and kill them. 0.99

00:28:16.140 That seems wrong to me. 1.00

00:28:18.920 How much more wrong?

00:28:20.280 How infinitely more wrong would it be to do that sort of thing to human beings?

00:28:23.760 But if you have no respect for human dignity, for the moral order, for the idea that humans are more than just flesh and blood,

00:28:33.900 or more than just big sacks of chemicals, that we actually have souls and spirits and that there are things in this world,

00:28:39.100 namely everything that really matters to us, our hopes, our dreams, our loves, our joys that are beyond the material world.

00:28:43.580 But if you deny all of that, then, yeah, I guess her argument makes sense.

00:28:48.340 It's just, unfortunately, it's just completely wrong.

00:28:50.940 You're seeing this kind of radicalism from not just kooks on TikTok, but from elected Democrats and Democratic candidates.

00:28:58.060 John Fetterman, Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania, Democrat candidate for Senate, he just said there should be no limits on abortion.

00:29:04.320 If I'm in the United States Senate, I would immediately support the first campaign to support the elimination of the filibuster

00:29:11.640 to make sure that we codify women's reproductive freedom in law to make sure that even if the Supreme Court does go down that road

00:29:20.700 and eliminate or revoke Roe v. Wade, that we already existingly codify that into law and make sure that we can't go back.

00:29:29.900 Like, abortions are going to continue in America, whether it's legal or not.

00:29:35.440 They just won't be safe if they're illegal, and we can't ever go back to that. We just can't.

00:29:40.740 And are there any limits on abortion you would find appropriate?

00:29:43.860 I don't believe so. 1.00

00:29:45.200 So this guy is either stupid or dishonest, or maybe he's both. 1.00

00:29:50.540 His argument doesn't make sense philosophically. 1.00

00:29:53.640 You could say, well, home burglaries are going to happen in America.

00:29:56.200 So we can either do it in a safe way where we don't, where the homeowner is not allowed to protect himself

00:30:02.060 and they roll out the red carpet for him, or we can do it in a dangerous way where people might get hurt.

00:30:06.360 So it's going to happen. You're never going to stop that.

00:30:08.100 I guess it's true. I guess it's going to happen, but when you pass laws against things, you get less of those things.

00:30:13.100 That's what the law does. 0.71

00:30:14.440 Some utopians say otherwise.

00:30:16.520 They say you get more of a certain behavior when you outlaw, but that's not really true.

00:30:20.740 You get less of it.

00:30:22.100 We need safe abortions. 1.00

00:30:23.160 There's no such thing as a safe abortion because every abortion kills a baby. 1.00

00:30:26.940 And a lot of abortions imperil the lives of women. 1.00

00:30:30.620 And when abortion became legal, you had a lot more abortions.

00:30:34.200 The kind of radicalism, there should be no limits whatsoever, he says.

00:30:38.020 Up until the very moment of birth, no limits whatsoever.

00:30:41.440 You want to talk about disinformation, forget about this guy.

00:30:43.840 This guy's adult, even though he does wield some political power.

00:30:47.640 CBS has an abortion reporter. 0.99

00:30:50.680 Her name is Kate Smith.

00:30:51.620 I'm sorry, they had an abortion reporter named Kate Smith. 1.00

00:30:55.060 She was supposed to be the disinterested reporter, not opinion columnist, reporter covering abortion in America. 0.54

00:31:01.320 She's going to go now and work at Planned Parenthood.

00:31:03.980 She's going to go be the top propagandist for Planned Parenthood now, the biggest abortion mill in America. 1.00

00:31:10.080 Now, I'm not even specifically knocking her here for supporting abortion, though she should be knocked for that, right? 1.00

00:31:16.620 She should be criticized for support.

00:31:18.700 That is evil in and of itself.

00:31:20.620 But there's a further problem here, which is she pretended to be a disinterested journalist for years. 0.58

00:31:27.200 But in our totally unbiased, disinterested mainstream media outlets like CBS News, and she's not.

00:31:34.880 She literally is a propagandist for Planned Parenthood.

00:31:39.140 That's disinformation.

00:31:40.280 The next time I hear about those brave, intrepid reporters, the fourth estate speaking truth to power, they're not.

00:31:45.240 They're Pravda.

00:31:46.000 They're Pravda.

00:31:46.640 They make Pravda look like schoolboys, okay?

00:31:49.000 They are as preposterous sort of propagandists that you see in North Korea, okay, and here in the United States. 0.63

00:31:58.800 What a shame that is that we have to say that.

00:32:00.800 You know, at the Daily Wire, we're trying to fight back.

00:32:03.340 We've started our own publishing wing.

00:32:04.800 It's called DW Books.

00:32:06.440 We're really happy to publish books that actively fight the left's monopoly on storytelling, such as Fiery But Mostly Peaceful, The 2020 Riots, and The Gaslighting of America by Julio Rosas.

00:32:17.360 In it, Julio exposes the Black Lives Matter riots that broke out across the country in the aftermath of George Floyd's death for the sham that they were. 0.99

00:32:25.320 Rosas, who is reporting from the ground, gives his firsthand experience and illuminates the media's attempts to convince Americans that the fatal and destructive riots were peaceful.

00:32:36.000 Check out the trailer.

00:32:37.500 The media gaslit the American people for all of 2020 as the riots unfolded.

00:32:42.040 They did not give you the full story.

00:32:44.240 I was there.

00:32:44.760 George Floyd, Kyle Rittenhouse, Rayshard Brooks, Chaz in Seattle.

00:32:49.300 I saw all the riots with my own eyes.

00:32:52.080 Windshields being smashed, giant rocks that were being thrown, businesses that were starting to be looted.

00:32:57.720 The crowd started to become hostile.

00:33:00.440 All the cops were trapped and surrounded.

00:33:02.700 Police were being ordered to retreat.

00:33:04.720 I experienced the tear gas.

00:33:06.520 I experienced the smoke.

00:33:07.980 This was very real to me.

00:33:09.100 The mainstream media, they were trying to call them protests.

00:33:13.040 CNN with that chyron saying, fiery but mostly peaceful.

00:33:16.100 They're trying to push a narrative of don't believe your lying eyes.

00:33:19.880 Because they were trying to appease a very dedicated Antifa movement that's there.

00:33:24.740 When you read my book, Fiery but Mostly Peaceful, you will get the full story.

00:33:28.020 You will learn what actually happened during the riots of 2020 and what the media did not want to tell you.

00:33:33.220 Buy my book, Fiery but Mostly Peaceful.

00:33:35.620 Everywhere books are sold.

00:33:36.640 The book is available for pre-order right now on Amazon or anywhere you buy books online.

00:33:42.580 So head on over to pre-order your copy today.

00:33:45.300 We'll be right back with the mailbag.

00:33:58.180 Welcome back to my favorite time of the week when I get to hear from you in the mailbag.

00:34:02.620 First question up from Bridget.

00:34:04.060 Dear Mr. Knowles, my name is Bridget.

00:34:05.820 First off, thank you for everything you do.

00:34:09.080 I am a huge fan of what you say and the points that you state in politics and how it is tied with faith.

00:34:14.820 That being said, I need advice on dating.

00:34:17.420 Everybody does.

00:34:18.800 I'm waiting for marriage.

00:34:20.540 It has been nearly impossible to meet someone with the same values that I believe in,

00:34:24.860 especially with the guys at my college in the hookup culture.

00:34:27.480 There is one guy who has the same beliefs as me who attends the Newman Center on campus.

00:34:31.960 That's a Catholic center on campus.

00:34:33.680 I want to at least get to know him, especially since I've had a crush since I first met him.

00:34:38.880 The dilemma is that I have never talked to him.

00:34:41.520 He doesn't really know my name.

00:34:43.080 And he's older than me, so he'll be graduating sooner than I will.

00:34:46.460 Should I say hi to him before the end of the semester or should I be patient to see if he does first?

00:34:50.960 Asking for a hopeful answer from a hopeless romantic.

00:34:54.940 No, don't be hopeless.

00:34:56.000 Yes, you should.

00:34:56.540 You should go introduce yourself and say hello.

00:34:58.760 Come on, go ahead and do it.

00:34:59.840 First of all, I wouldn't be at all surprised if this guy wants to talk to you too and he's just a little shy.

00:35:06.780 And he's just a little nervous.

00:35:08.000 And, you know, young men in general can suffer from a lack of confidence sometimes.

00:35:11.780 And also with the craziness of our dating scene these days, he might not exactly know how to do it.

00:35:16.900 But sure, go do it.

00:35:17.720 What have you got to lose?

00:35:19.320 Just go up, introduce yourself, say hey.

00:35:22.380 Back in my single days, I liked it when girls would come up and say they liked me. 0.94

00:35:26.960 So do it.

00:35:27.860 Go for it.

00:35:28.220 Why not?

00:35:28.680 What have you got to lose?

00:35:29.380 What do you have to gain?

00:35:30.600 Oh, I don't know.

00:35:31.280 A husband and a family and a good life.

00:35:33.220 And what do you have to lose?

00:35:34.020 I don't know.

00:35:34.480 He's not interested.

00:35:35.200 You don't get a cup of coffee and you move on.

00:35:36.980 From Steve.

00:35:38.080 I have a relationship question which feels strange to write.

00:35:41.980 I'm married.

00:35:42.680 Uh-oh.

00:35:43.520 I'm married in my 30s and have a solid job.

00:35:45.800 My question is, when it comes to my female co-workers, when is flirting appropriate for 1.00

00:35:51.820 someone in my position?

00:35:53.300 I've never crossed any physical lines.

00:35:55.660 Good.

00:35:56.760 And flirting often feels like the female version of guys joking around and bashing each other 1.00

00:36:01.180 in a locker room.

00:36:01.980 Like when they're friends.

00:36:04.420 However, I also realize there is always a point at which anything can turn from appropriate

00:36:08.920 to sinful.

00:36:09.540 What are your thoughts on flirting with people while in a relationship and where is the line?

00:36:13.920 Thanks.

00:36:15.120 Really, really good question.

00:36:17.560 I am of Sicilian extraction, as I may have mentioned once or twice.

00:36:22.480 We are known traditionally as some of the most flirtatious people in the world.

00:36:27.520 I also come from New York.

00:36:28.940 New Yorkers have a reputation of being a little bit flirtatious, okay?

00:36:32.360 So I think that can be perfectly fine.

00:36:35.360 All right, that can actually be a sort of lovely aspect of life.

00:36:39.540 But it has to be couched within real standards.

00:36:43.800 And the standard that I would recommend to you is the standard of chivalry.

00:36:48.260 Okay, there's a line.

00:36:49.520 I'm going to take this in kind of a weird direction.

00:36:51.020 There's a line in Edmund Burke.

00:36:52.480 It's probably the most famous line in Edmund Burke's Reflections on the Revolution in France.

00:36:56.440 He is long credited with being the founder of modern conservative political philosophy.

00:37:04.020 Edmund Burke is describing Marie Antoinette.

00:37:07.220 And he says,

00:37:07.800 It is 16 or 17 years since I saw the Queen of France, then the Dauphinus at Versailles.

00:37:14.660 And surely never lighted on this orb a more delightful vision.

00:37:18.760 Surely never lighted on this orb, which she hardly seemed to touch a more delightful vision.

00:37:23.540 And he goes on to talk about how awful it is that the radicals would go after Marie Antoinette.

00:37:28.840 And he should have thought that a thousand swords must have left from their scabbards to avenge even an insulting look at Marie Antoinette.

00:37:35.860 Now, is that him being licentious and lustful after Marie Antoinette?

00:37:39.840 Is that him thirst posting the Queen of France or being unfaithful to his wife or anything like that?

00:37:44.280 No.

00:37:45.220 No, it's not.

00:37:45.960 But it's couched within chivalry.

00:37:48.920 Two, you're talking about the workplace.

00:37:52.560 Keep it buttoned up at the workplace.

00:37:54.240 Just as a general rule, you should be even more restrained at the workplace in general.

00:37:59.500 Back in the old days when there weren't a whole lot of women in the workplace, 1.00

00:38:02.660 when it was mostly kind of a boys club, you could be a little looser maybe with your language.

00:38:06.520 You could be a little looser with your behavior.

00:38:08.240 But when you're in mixed company, generally it's an important thing to do to keep things together.

00:38:13.480 And two, you don't want to end up in front of HR.

00:38:16.340 So I would keep that relatively buttoned up.

00:38:18.640 And then three, you kind of tip your hand here a little bit, which is you say, nothing's gotten physical.

00:38:25.660 Whoa, buddy.

00:38:26.440 There's a bit, you know, look, if you go up to some lady on the street, say, that's a beautiful dress. 1.00

00:38:30.540 That doesn't need to imply anything about your sexual desire for that woman.

00:38:35.380 You might just say, oh, you're looking lovely today.

00:38:37.080 That's a wonderful thing to say.

00:38:38.880 But if you're saying now, look, I haven't let anything get physical.

00:38:41.280 Now you're implying something else.

00:38:42.820 Now you're implying, okay, I really have a strong desire for this woman.

00:38:46.820 And that's not a good thing.

00:38:48.720 I would, I say this even as, you know, man from the same culture as Giacomo Casanova.

00:38:55.240 I would err on the side of caution.

00:38:57.700 From Whiskey Rebel.

00:38:59.640 Hey, Michael, I'm a longtime listener and a first-time subscriber.

00:39:02.840 My wife and I have been married for seven years and have three children together.

00:39:06.060 We're Florida residents and the parental rights and education bill and Disney's response have led us to having some intense,

00:39:12.940 though not heated, discussions around the content that our kids are consuming from Disney.

00:39:17.280 She doesn't believe any of this warrants completely excising Disney from our lives

00:39:20.780 and still wants to take the kids to Disney World and let them watch their content

00:39:24.440 and have an overall Disney childhood like we had.

00:39:28.200 Her solution is just only let them watch content that we approve of.

00:39:32.800 I believe the Disney childhood we wanted for them cannot happen so long as Disney overtly pushes a sexual ideology

00:39:38.460 into their kids' entertainment and theme parks.

00:39:40.600 What would you do in my situation?

00:39:42.540 Thanks for all you do.

00:39:43.240 P.S. came for Ben, stayed for Knowles.

00:39:44.860 Thanks, man.

00:39:45.320 You're a man of excellent taste, obviously.

00:39:47.060 And you're right.

00:39:48.700 And your wife is wrong. 0.85

00:39:50.780 We were just debating this in our own household.

00:39:54.860 And I wouldn't even say we were debating.

00:39:57.260 I guess we were on the same page.

00:39:58.240 And then one day I'm at work and I get an email.

00:39:59.860 Your Disney Plus subscription has been canceled.

00:40:01.960 I just knew it was my wife.

00:40:03.320 Made the executive decision.

00:40:04.860 We're not doing this.

00:40:05.920 The reason that it's going to be really hard.

00:40:08.560 I'm not saying don't show your kid Fantasia or something.

00:40:10.900 But the reason it'll be hard to raise your kid on a steady diet of good old Disney,

00:40:15.600 but not new Disney, is that the point of these cartoon childhood universes is that you develop

00:40:24.980 an attachment to the characters.

00:40:27.140 So then you want to see the characters in everything else.

00:40:29.660 So Disney, you know, Mickey Mouse 50 years ago was a great wholesome cartoon.

00:40:34.520 Disney and Mickey Mouse today is pushing transgenderism. 0.99

00:40:37.960 The kid is not going to be able to distinguish between good old Mickey Mouse and new creepy, 0.99

00:40:43.180 weird, pervert Mickey Mouse.

00:40:45.220 So I would just recommend more or less cutting out Disney.

00:40:49.980 I'm not saying don't show the kid Pinocchio.

00:40:52.060 I'm not saying a movie here or there.

00:40:53.720 But I wouldn't make your kid a Disney kid.

00:40:57.540 I would look for something else.

00:40:59.060 Because that's how they get you.

00:41:00.100 That's how the left always gets you.

00:41:01.460 They go into institutions that are important, that have prestige,

00:41:04.340 that have a long legacy, that people are attracted to.

00:41:07.340 And then they pervert those institutions and they play on people's affection for that institution.

00:41:13.200 And that's exactly what they're doing at Disney.

00:41:15.100 And it's powerful.

00:41:16.040 They do it because it works.

00:41:17.100 So you've got to watch out for that.

00:41:19.020 From Disney.

00:41:20.240 From Disney.

00:41:20.940 From Christina.

00:41:21.400 Hi, Michael.

00:41:22.440 What is your advice for dealing with people who refuse to see those of us who chose not to

00:41:26.100 get vaccinated?

00:41:27.380 Now that there is less segregation between vaxxed and unvaxxed because most of the mandates

00:41:31.400 have been dropped, it seems that it is now socially acceptable for liberals to associate

00:41:35.060 with us again.

00:41:36.180 However, I still don't feel comfortable after being ostracized for so long.

00:41:39.680 What's the best way to move forward?

00:41:41.080 Thanks.

00:41:42.480 Yeah, move forward.

00:41:43.260 Move on.

00:41:44.140 I'm not saying in general lib society. 1.00

00:41:46.140 You can say, look, I don't want to go join your stupid club or I don't want, you know, 0.99

00:41:51.420 for people who are just the average lib who ostracized you in society. 0.99

00:41:56.460 But if you talk about your friends and family and they went through some neurotic break during

00:42:00.140 COVID because they believed Dr. Fauci, as a lot of people did, a lot of gullible people

00:42:04.600 believed the lab coats because they spoke from a position of authority, even though they

00:42:08.460 were wrong about pretty much everything.

00:42:10.420 And you were fortunate that you knew better than to follow these very corrupt people who

00:42:15.000 are running our country.

00:42:16.780 But, you know, if because of their neurosis, they didn't want you over for Thanksgiving

00:42:20.140 and now they're saying, come back over and it's your friend or your family, just go back

00:42:23.040 over.

00:42:23.960 I'm not the kind of guy that holds a grudge.

00:42:25.460 Life's too short.

00:42:26.640 Just move on.

00:42:27.840 It's good.

00:42:28.120 You get your friend back.

00:42:28.820 That's fine.

00:42:29.520 They went through a thing.

00:42:30.960 They maybe came out the other end.

00:42:32.460 That's okay.

00:42:33.520 From Camille.

00:42:35.020 Hey, Michael, I have another dating question.

00:42:36.760 I recently told a story about a guy I kind of dated in college.

00:42:40.880 Ain't that the story of college?

00:42:42.680 We kind of dated.

00:42:44.000 We were in the same friend group and tried dating at the end of my sophomore and senior

00:42:47.020 years.

00:42:47.860 Both times I moved back home when school ended and felt like he wasn't right for me.

00:42:52.460 I basically told him that it just wasn't working for me and that we make better friends.

00:42:56.740 However, after telling this story to some of my guy friends, I received a lot of backlash

00:43:00.720 and was called heartless.

00:43:02.380 So my question is, did I not end things well?

00:43:05.060 I thought by not leading him on, I was being nice.

00:43:07.820 And what is the best way to end things with a guy?

00:43:09.840 Sincerely chilling with my jar of hearts.

00:43:11.800 Yeah, I would just be clear.

00:43:13.520 Say, yeah, you know, man, I'm just not interested.

00:43:17.300 Clarity is a lot better.

00:43:18.420 The only thing I think you did wrong is you dated him twice.

00:43:21.360 So what happened?

00:43:21.920 You dated the first time.

00:43:23.680 You realized you didn't like him that much.

00:43:25.580 And then what?

00:43:26.200 You got bored and you started dating him again because nothing better was.

00:43:29.120 You know, that's not a good thing to do.

00:43:30.540 I wouldn't recommend that.

00:43:31.920 That kind of ambiguity is not really nice to him.

00:43:34.140 But if you're going to say, hey, look, we tried it.

00:43:36.740 We dated a little.

00:43:37.480 That's not, this isn't it.

00:43:38.380 Then, you know, move on.

00:43:39.120 That's okay.

00:43:39.540 Free him up.

00:43:40.060 He can go find another girl. 0.97

00:43:41.420 He might be sad, but whatever.

00:43:43.020 You can pretend that you'll remain friends, but you almost certainly won't.

00:43:46.180 And then you move on and find a hunk.

00:43:47.700 You know, that's just the way, that's just the way these things go.

00:43:50.140 From Jacob.

00:43:51.060 Hey, Michael.

00:43:52.320 I really enjoy the show.

00:43:53.800 Thank you.

00:43:54.200 I recently just graduated early from the University of Delaware.

00:43:58.180 Since then, I've been contributing to society as an engineer.

00:44:00.840 Unfortunately, my family all wants to go see me graduate.

00:44:04.320 And Joe Biden is the guest speaker.

00:44:06.580 I feel like it's not worth going since I've been out of school for some time now,

00:44:09.700 but my parents and grandparents still want me to go,

00:44:11.920 even if it means they have to sit through a Biden speech.

00:44:14.900 I really don't want to listen to a Biden speech either,

00:44:16.920 especially if I have to take a day off work.

00:44:18.960 Any thoughts on the matter?

00:44:20.020 Sincerely, if only the Daily Wire hired mechanical engineers.

00:44:22.920 Yeah, I don't know.

00:44:23.600 With all the rain in Nashville, maybe we'll need some soon.

00:44:26.460 You should go to your graduation.

00:44:28.500 It's not just about you.

00:44:29.900 It is about your parents.

00:44:31.080 It is about your grandparents.

00:44:32.380 You should go.

00:44:33.320 You should especially go because the president is speaking. 1.00

00:44:35.920 I think this guy is a big dummy and extremely corrupt. 0.99

00:44:38.280 And I don't want to listen to him say a single word either. 1.00

00:44:40.480 And I'm not convinced he can articulate a single word.

00:44:43.680 But it is cool to see the president speak.

00:44:48.740 If we have any respect left for the office,

00:44:50.740 and it's dwindling by the day,

00:44:53.200 then it is kind of cool.

00:44:54.460 And it'll especially be cool for your parents and grandparents.

00:44:57.240 And you should just suck it up and go.

00:44:58.680 Also, because forget Biden, forget your family for a second.

00:45:02.220 It's a milestone in your life.

00:45:03.700 You might say, well, college is worthless these days.

00:45:05.640 Well, it's not exactly worthless.

00:45:07.020 But yes, I agree.

00:45:08.000 You don't get a great education anymore.

00:45:09.680 And it's extremely overpriced.

00:45:10.840 And it's kind of a racket.

00:45:12.000 And yeah, I grant all of that.

00:45:14.300 I'm not defending college or Joe Biden or even your family's desires.

00:45:20.600 But you did go.

00:45:21.680 You did go to college.

00:45:22.600 And it actually is a part of your biography.

00:45:24.560 And therefore, it actually is a big moment in your life to graduate.

00:45:27.720 And ritual is very important as human beings.

00:45:31.220 Putting our body into it.

00:45:32.300 We don't just live on Zoom.

00:45:33.540 We're not just brains.

00:45:34.420 Well, increasingly we do, unfortunately.

00:45:36.040 But we're not just brains floating in the ether, right?

00:45:39.040 We have bodies.

00:45:40.400 We live in space.

00:45:40.980 We live in time.

00:45:41.780 And you've got to do certain rituals.

00:45:43.440 And you're going to look back on it and say, I remember my college graduation.

00:45:46.460 So I would do that.

00:45:48.040 From Daniel.

00:45:49.940 Michael, I've been a Daily Wire member for well over a year.

00:45:52.440 And I am now one of those new followers of you on Twitter.

00:45:55.300 Oh, thank you.

00:45:55.900 I know.

00:45:56.160 I've got a lot of them now.

00:45:57.180 I couldn't tell if it was bots.

00:45:58.260 But you don't seem like a bot.

00:45:59.240 You seem like a real human.

00:46:00.880 I've never had a Twitter or even cared about Twitter.

00:46:03.060 I have a theory that the reason for the uptick in followers for conservatives has to do

00:46:06.620 with more conservatives joining Twitter.

00:46:08.500 Conservatives now see a space where they can get information without the big tech overlords

00:46:12.840 and are now following all their faves, including yourself.

00:46:16.580 What are your thoughts on that?

00:46:17.260 I think you might be right.

00:46:18.240 At first, I took a dimmer view, more skeptical view.

00:46:21.240 And I said, no, it's just all these bots flooding in.

00:46:23.600 Still might be some combination.

00:46:25.360 But just the increase in engagement with real people who are writing real things,

00:46:28.800 and even with blue checks who are theoretically verified humans,

00:46:31.800 I think that very likely might be the case.

00:46:33.940 The conservatives were shut out.

00:46:35.040 A lot of us got extremely angry when they kicked Trump off.

00:46:38.680 We thought that was so egregious, so outrageous.

00:46:41.360 And then furthermore, Twitter itself would start banning conservatives for saying innocuous things.

00:46:46.680 When Elon was announced as the new head of Twitter,

00:46:49.740 I just started tweeting out things you previously weren't allowed to say.

00:46:52.880 The 2020 election was obviously rigged.

00:46:55.520 Ivermectin's a wonder drug.

00:46:56.980 The public health authorities have lied to us for two years.

00:46:59.140 I just tweeted those things out.

00:47:00.280 And no flags, no censorship, no suspension.

00:47:03.100 And so I suspect a lot of people who previously had their accounts banned just came back on.

00:47:07.500 From Jordan.

00:47:08.340 Hey, Michael.

00:47:08.960 I was born and raised in New York with the high crime rate, insane taxes, and leftist lunacy.

00:47:13.900 It's looking like it might be time to move.

00:47:15.840 I'm wondering if you have any suggestions on places in the United States

00:47:18.720 that would be good for young, adult, conservative Catholics to live.

00:47:23.320 Thank you very much.

00:47:24.720 I do.

00:47:26.020 It's called Nashville, Tennessee.

00:47:27.580 That's where I would recommend you go.

00:47:30.280 Head on over to Nashville, Tennessee.

00:47:33.360 Okay, one last question from Anonymous.

00:47:35.960 Michael, what drives the culture of educators to think that it is appropriate to share personal

00:47:40.040 information of any kind in the workplace, in any office space, structured business, or corporation?

00:47:44.600 This type of behavior is frowned upon.

00:47:46.640 To have a conversation with a coworker about a romantic relationship is a great way to get sent to HR

00:47:51.260 in my occupation.

00:47:52.440 What does this change in a school?

00:47:54.720 Sincerely, pre-order, speechless, controlling words, controlling minds.

00:47:59.520 You know, I'll go a little further on this.

00:48:06.120 I am not convinced that it's always at all times wrong for teachers to share aspects of

00:48:11.400 their personal life.

00:48:12.100 If you call a teacher Mrs. Smith, you know that she's married.

00:48:15.600 Mrs. means you're married.

00:48:17.640 Okay, so I know a lot of times we want to say that we don't want teachers talking in any way

00:48:23.620 about any of their romantic relationships, but that's not exactly true.

00:48:27.640 We just don't want them talking about the weird, unusual, creepy stuff, and we don't want them

00:48:32.120 talking about the stuff that is morally debatable, and we don't want them talking about the stuff that

00:48:37.060 huge swaths of the population view with moral opprobrium, and that traditionally America is

00:48:42.320 viewed with moral opprobrium.

00:48:43.240 And this is why the argument of don't say gay isn't really about LGBT.

00:48:47.200 It could be don't say straight too.

00:48:48.400 No, that's not exactly right.

00:48:49.800 It's not exactly right.

00:48:50.520 So I agree.

00:48:51.160 Teachers, it's not that teachers need to completely shut their mouths up and can never mention that

00:48:55.180 they even have a husband.

00:48:56.740 Teachers need to be appropriate, and appropriate implies standards, and we need to enforce

00:49:00.480 traditional standards, or else we're going to get the wacko stuff from the libs, and we're

00:49:05.820 going to be transing five-year-olds.

00:49:06.840 And that is, since you signed it, since you signed it with pre-order, Speechless, Controlling

00:49:10.420 Words, Controlling Minds, you know, that is the thesis of my book, which is available

00:49:14.800 now for order, and the paperback's available for pre-order.
