The Michael Knowles Show - Fighting Drag With Drag ｜ Kimberly Reicks

00:00:00.000 There's a great Family Guy clip where there's a transvestite sitting at a bar and the transvestite 1.00

00:00:05.640 is looking at pornography on his phone. And the bartender comes over and says, ma'am,

00:00:10.780 you can't look at pornography at this bar. And the transvestite says, no, no, it's okay, 1.00

00:00:16.240 I'm transgender. And the bartender says, oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that. Okay,

00:00:20.380 do whatever you want whenever you want to do it. And that is very much what seems to occur

00:00:25.640 in our culture, whether we're talking at a bar or in public or even at schools. And one mother has

00:00:32.700 had enough of it. One mother, an absolute hero mom, showed up to a school board meeting wearing, 0.99

00:00:39.960 frankly, a shocking, scandalous, completely inappropriate outfit to the meeting.

00:00:46.780 It just so happens that it was the same outfit that had been worn by a drag queen 0.98

00:00:50.700 at the kids' school that very year. And so why is it that a giant hulking dude can wear

00:00:58.220 a silly leotard, but a mother cannot? Why is it inappropriate for a woman to wear the woman's 1.00

00:01:03.360 clothing and not for the man's? School board didn't seem to have much of an answer. That 0.93

00:01:06.880 mother is Kimberly Reichs, a stay-at-home mother of seven children. We call that a small Catholic 0.98

00:01:13.340 family. Kimberly, thank you for coming on the show. Thank you so much for having me on,

00:01:18.280 Michael. I'm honored to be on your show. I am so pleased to hear that. And I absolutely

00:01:23.580 adored your stunt. What was the reaction in the room?

00:01:29.480 Mouths dropped to the floor and there was one lady in particular sitting behind me 1.00

00:01:34.060 just making snood remarks like, I can't believe she's in that. Ew. Put some clothes on. I'm like,

00:01:40.300 yeah. And that's when I turned around and addressed her actually and said, yeah, if this ticks you off,

00:01:46.660 then it should because this guy came into our school dressed like this and that seemed to be

00:01:51.860 okay. This is what the man dressed like in front of our kids. So this makes your head spit. This

00:01:58.900 pisses you off in any way, shape or form it should. Because I'm embarrassed to stand here in the outfit

00:02:04.680 that I am in today, but I have a point to prove and that is that this outfit should not be ever

00:02:10.460 accepted in our school. By the way, it's not even just what's good for the goose is good for the

00:02:16.420 gander because you are a very nice looking lady. You still probably shouldn't wear those things at 0.99

00:02:21.180 school, but it makes more sense for a very nice looking lady to wear ladies' clothing. Makes a 1.00

00:02:26.100 whole lot less sense for a big hulking dude to wear that clothing. So it's actually much more

00:02:31.260 inappropriate, much more grotesque for the guy to do it. Can you explain what actually happened

00:02:38.620 to prompt your appearance at the school board?

00:02:41.760 So what happened was that back in May when I exposed the drag queen show for what it was and

00:02:47.680 asked our school board then, like, why did this happen? How did this get into our schools? What are

00:02:53.200 you planning on doing to ensure it doesn't happen again? They flat out ignored me. They brushed me

00:02:58.780 under the rug. They tried to censor me and I was not going to have it. And me, along with hundreds of

00:03:05.340 parents here in Ankeny, Iowa, we're wanting to know a hundred and some odd days later now and 40 days

00:03:12.500 into the school year, why have we not heard the investigation results of that GSA program? Who let

00:03:19.600 them in? Why was it allowed? And why didn't that guy not get a background check? I can't go eat lunch

00:03:25.560 with my kids, let alone walk into a school half dressed and perform for them. So what's good for

00:03:33.600 them is not good for me. So you mentioned the GSA, which stands for the Gay Straight Alliance. It's

00:03:41.440 one of these LGBT clubs in the schools. And you mentioned this drag show. And I get that there are

00:03:46.940 more questions probably than answers, but what actually happened with the club and the drag queen?

00:03:53.860 So the GSA hired this guy to come in to perform for the children as young as 12. He was a 21-year-old

00:04:02.760 male exotic dancer. He does not attend the school. He never attended the school. And for him to come in

00:04:09.400 to perform for our children was just outstanding. And like, why? What was the purpose of that? And so

00:04:16.460 that's questions that we still have no answers to. How old are the kids in this club? The youngest

00:04:22.100 one that attended the show was 12. It's sick. That is absolutely sick. I assume the club has a faculty

00:04:30.100 advisor. Is that right? Yes, they are supposed to. So the GSA is a school credited, but not funded

00:04:38.380 program. It's funded actually by the CDC. And there's teachers that overlook this GSA program that is

00:04:46.100 supposed to be monitoring it. And so there was two teachers in particular that are still teachers

00:04:51.660 there in Ankeny School today. The one is the choir teacher, and there's one that is a, I believe she's

00:04:58.100 an English teacher. And far as we know, there's been no repercussions on what they did and why they

00:05:04.660 allowed this to happen in our schools. Right now, go to rockauto.com. Enter Knowles in there. How did you

00:05:09.860 hear about this box? I absolutely adore rockauto. I adore them because they've been with this show

00:05:14.580 basically since day one for years and years and years now. Two, I love rockauto because they don't

00:05:20.660 make me feel like a big dummy when I need auto parts, okay? Listen, I'm not exactly the handiest

00:05:25.860 guy in the world, okay? I don't know everything about every type of make and model of car. Rockauto

00:05:30.340 makes it so, so easy. And they always give you reliably the lowest prices. Chain stores have different

00:05:37.860 price tiers for professional mechanics and do-it-yourselfers. Rockauto.com's prices are

00:05:42.340 the same for everybody. No gimmicks, no login on Tuesday and you get this price and none of that

00:05:47.560 stuff. They've been serving auto parts customers online for 20 years. You go to rockauto.com,

00:05:52.020 shop for auto and body parts from hundreds of manufacturers. They've got everything from

00:05:55.900 engine control modules and brake parts to tail lamps, motor oil, even new carpet. Whether it's for

00:06:01.780 your classic or your daily driver, you can get everything that you need with just a few easy clicks

00:06:06.760 delivered right to your door. Go to rockauto.com right now. Enter Knowles in there. How did you

00:06:10.500 hear about us box? So they know that we sent you. That is rockauto.com. You were about to make me feel

00:06:17.720 better when you said, yes, the school has given accreditation to this club, but they don't give

00:06:23.800 the club any money until you told me that the club is funded by the federal government. That actually makes

00:06:27.860 me feel a lot worse. But okay, I'm not going to blame a 12-year-old for making a stupid choice and 1.00

00:06:36.020 inviting a drag queen into a club. 12-year-olds make stupid decisions all the time. That's pretty 1.00

00:06:40.960 much the definition of being a 12-year-old. But you're telling me there are two faculty advisors

00:06:45.200 here. So then my question is, one, did they know? What did they know and when did they know it? And

00:06:50.540 two, if they did not know, then what kind of negligence is that for a club advisor?

00:06:55.660 Oh, they knew for sure because they posed in front of, on the stage at the end. There was a huge photo

00:07:01.640 at the end of the stage that showed all the teachers happily standing there with all the

00:07:07.480 students that performed in that drag queen show and who attended.

00:07:10.200 So without question, the teachers need to be fired, I would imagine.

00:07:14.020 Absolutely.

00:07:15.120 And you and the other parents have asked for this?

00:07:18.380 Yes, we have. We have demanded it and they refused to do it.

00:07:21.960 Have you been able to speak to any political leaders right now? I mean, I'm pleased that you

00:07:26.060 can come on my show. We'll spread this as far and wide as we can. It's a national program. We

00:07:31.160 have international listeners. So I think absolutely that people who are listening right now should

00:07:36.620 call in and put a lot of public pressure on to get these teachers fired, get this club shut down 0.66

00:07:40.820 and keep the transvestites out of the 12-year-olds' classrooms. But has anyone spoken to your member 0.95

00:07:47.960 of Congress, senators? No one is speaking up against this who's actually in elected office?

00:07:52.600 No. But I did have five state reps did call me or text me saying that they were proud of what I did

00:08:00.480 and they hope that I come up to the Capitol this session and start protesting to help get them

00:08:07.140 to get a law passed so this doesn't happen any further.

00:08:10.280 How long do you think this has been going on at your kid's school?

00:08:14.620 I'm guessing at least two years since COVID started. And it's just bringing to light because

00:08:20.120 a lot of this stuff we saw online. And so a lot of the kids are more open about talking about it.

00:08:28.060 And so I don't think if without COVID, we would have seen it as quickly. But since with COVID and

00:08:33.720 since we had to go to like online stuff when the lockdowns were in place, that's when we started

00:08:40.280 realizing this agenda that they are pushing on our children.

00:08:43.860 What is so spooky to me is that you're not in New York. You're not in California. You're not in

00:08:51.700 Chicago or Washington, D.C. You're in Iowa. Or do you just happen to be in an extremely radical left

00:08:58.800 wing town or county? Unfortunately, yes. I'm in one of the liverless towns in Ankeny. But that's okay

00:09:06.000 because last session, we actually got the town flipped from blue to red. We ended up getting

00:09:12.520 six seats overturned in our city. We had three school board members overturned, one city mayor

00:09:22.180 and two city councilmen. So we do have more of a conservative running now. But they have a huge

00:09:30.000 mess to clean up. And I think that they're just getting buried left and right.

00:09:33.900 Right. And I have to imagine no matter how left wing the town is, I mean, obviously it can't be

00:09:39.240 all that left wing if the political tides have shifted so much. But no matter how left wing

00:09:43.680 your neighbors are, I think if you did a public opinion poll of your neighbors, I can't imagine

00:09:51.080 that most of them are going to support drag shows for 12-year-olds, right? Am I giving too much credit

00:09:57.140 to your county? No, there's a very small amount of them that will actually want that in our county.

00:10:05.380 Most people do not want it, but most people it gets hidden from. So like the GSA program

00:10:10.600 was not made public that this was going to happen. It was not made known to all students. It was

00:10:15.960 basically exclusive for those students and the GSA. And it did happen after hours, but then

00:10:22.840 that just means us more questions. It just makes us ask, how did they get into the school building

00:10:29.100 after hours? Who let them in? Who approved all this? Because there's protocols that you have to

00:10:34.440 go through in order to be able to host any kind of show in the school. And the administration of the

00:10:40.840 particular school has to sign off. You have to have the approval of the superintendent. And none of that

00:10:46.920 happened here. And it all just got brushed under the rug. Like, why is that okay?

00:10:52.900 You know, I sometimes see this issue approached from the perspective of, you know, well, what's the

00:11:01.060 big deal? What's the big deal? Why do you guys care so much about this? And I think, well, you can

00:11:05.040 obviously flip that on the other side and say, well, you know, we're not the ones changing the way that

00:11:12.780 we view sex and education and kids. You guys are the ones changing it. And you're spending so much

00:11:17.660 time and energy and money doing that. You're obviously very focused on it. It's another

00:11:23.000 question. Why can a child not see a drag show? Why a child must see a drag show? But then the

00:11:27.980 question I have is, what about this drag queen himself? What is it about this guy that makes him

00:11:33.660 so determined to prance around half naked for little kids? Right. And that's our questions too,

00:11:41.120 as concerned parents. Like what makes an adult want to perform and get the approval of children?

00:11:46.820 Like, why would you want to do that if you don't have an alternative motive?

00:11:51.020 I don't know what to tell parents. When parents write into me all the time and they say,

00:11:54.880 you know, I don't know what to do with my kid. My school's gone really woke. And

00:11:59.700 obviously now you've got sexual performances for 12 year olds by guys who are obviously 0.80

00:12:05.120 little on the perverted side if they're prancing around in women's clothing. So this is a 1.00

00:12:10.080 genuinely a dangerous situation. You've got seven kids. Do you feel comfortable sending them to

00:12:16.220 this public school? I don't. And that's why I pulled them for this year. So they- You did.

00:12:21.660 I just have, I did. So I have my one son, he's still in, he's a freshman. And so he's pretty,

00:12:27.780 he's like, mom, I know what's going on. I'm okay. I just want to go. And so I did pull my younger

00:12:32.980 two that are in school out. I have two of them. I have two kids that are out of school and I have

00:12:37.760 three kids in school. And so they are out of the school system.

00:12:41.960 But it creates a problem. I mean, you, you know, you've taken the charge to be fruitful and multiply

00:12:46.560 very, very well. And, you know, you're doing your, your part to, to, you know, outflank the left,

00:12:52.160 not only by persuasion, but also by outbreeding them, which I understand to be much more fun. So

00:12:58.420 good on you for doing that. But it creates a sort of a financial problem too. It's, it's not as though

00:13:04.600 most people in this country can afford to send seven kids to private school. It's not as though

00:13:09.660 a lot of mothers can even afford to stay home and homeschool all day long. I mean, these are,

00:13:14.900 this is very, very expensive. And so for a lot of people, there's not a whole lot of choice here.

00:13:20.380 It's just either send your kid to the school with the trannies or don't send your kid to school at 1.00

00:13:25.480 all. Right. And that's exactly the tough part we are in. We are in that tough situation right now,

00:13:30.860 just with like trying to make financial ends meet because of the fact that, you know, I can't work

00:13:37.540 anytime outside the home during the, during the school hours, because I'm home with the kids

00:13:42.320 watching them now. And it does make it a little difficult, but God will provide, and we will make

00:13:47.220 sure that we can keep going. And I will make sure that my kids are not indoctrinated and as they can

00:13:52.820 to shield them from what's happening in our schools. Have any teachers spoken out against this?

00:13:58.720 Obviously there's the two faculty advisors to the club who are bringing these, this weirdo in and

00:14:03.900 taking weird pics with the kids, but surely there've got to be some good teachers here who are joining

00:14:09.660 you at the school board meeting and speaking out against it. No, I'm a lonely person standing up there

00:14:16.140 and anytime they see my name on the agenda, the board will actually stack the, stack it against me.

00:14:22.860 So when I first brought this to the attention, I'm good at making posters. I like to make posters

00:14:27.340 and held them up cause that's my thing. And so the very first time I addressed them after the GSA

00:14:33.340 program happened, they actually cut life feed. They had technical difficulties. And so, but as soon

00:14:40.880 as the first person that they brought in was on, it worked. And so there's three of us that spoke up

00:14:48.200 against it. And there was about 20 of them that they brought in to spoke, to speak for the GSA and how

00:14:54.300 they needed to have it in school. How does this work with the federal funding? Because, you know,

00:14:59.020 I was a member of a ton of clubs in school. I ran a bunch of clubs. You know, I was very involved in

00:15:03.760 the extracurriculars. And I don't remember the federal government giving me money for my, for the

00:15:08.500 choir club or the band or the plays or the student government or any of that. So what is it about the,

00:15:14.620 the gay club that gets federal dollars? I'm guessing it's a mental illness and that's why the CDC's got it. 0.99

00:15:22.360 And I mean, I don't know what other way, why they would have it besides it's a mental illness and

00:15:28.600 that's why the CDC is funding it. Right. Well, yes. If you're a man who thinks that he's a woman,

00:15:33.420 I guess by definition, that's a mental illness. And so, but, but, you know, usually you would hope 0.92

00:15:37.900 that the CDC or the, the more medically inclined agencies of our government would be spending their

00:15:45.600 money trying to cure mental problems, not, uh, toward exacerbating them.

00:15:51.860 Yes, I agree.

00:15:53.780 Right now go to epicwill.com, use promo code Knowles. For those who have been following the story,

00:15:58.680 Vanderbilt Hospital has agreed to pause all gender transition surgeries on minors. This is a huge 0.97

00:16:04.620 wing. A left wing institution has caved to pressure from us, from the right. And that deserves some

00:16:11.980 recognition, but the fight is far from over. There is still so much that we can do to protect kids

00:16:17.600 from this evil leftist indoctrination. One thing you can do today is write a will. Many new parents

00:16:24.320 don't realize how important it is to have a will in place. But the sad truth is that if you were to

00:16:29.500 die tomorrow without a will, the fate of your children would be left up to the libs who pretty 0.86

00:16:34.400 much run everything. And I don't know about you, but I don't want the libs deciding anything for my

00:16:39.020 family. Luckily, our partners over at Epic Will make early estate planning super easy and super

00:16:45.260 affordable. They bundle your last will, living will, healthcare power of attorney, HIPAA release,

00:16:49.980 and durable financial power of attorney. Plus, you can save 10% when you use code Knowles. It only

00:16:55.440 costs 119 bucks for a single person to create a will. When you use promo code Knowles, you will

00:16:59.680 save 10%. Go to epicwill.com, use promo code Knowles to save 10% on Epic Will's complete will

00:17:05.160 package. That is epicwill.com, promo code Knowles. What about the parents in the community? I mean,

00:17:11.880 because I bet you, I told you, I bet you if you did a poll right now, 90% plus of the parents would

00:17:18.060 be on your side in terms of do you think these drag queens should dance around for kids? How many 1.00

00:17:23.400 are actually standing up with you at the meetings? None. None even of the parents? No, there was about

00:17:30.280 two of them when we first started, when I first brought it to the school board meeting. And

00:17:35.120 there's maybe five of us that will stand up at all, like all the time. But when I went up against

00:17:41.240 them just this last Monday, it was just me and another mom. Why do you think that is?

00:17:47.420 I think it's because of the backlash that people get here in our town. And I don't think people

00:17:52.780 like that negativity. They don't like to be themselves out there. So especially if you own a small

00:17:59.000 business, if you own a small business in this town and you're speaking up against what they want

00:18:03.520 you to, they'll find a way to shut you down. Of course, of course. And you even think with some

00:18:08.180 parents, I bet they don't want their kids' grades to be affected. You know, everyone wants to get into

00:18:12.680 college and, you know, just kind of check that box. And so I see this everywhere. When people come up,

00:18:19.840 they'll ask me at speeches, Michael, should I speak out or should I keep my head down and get the good

00:18:23.820 grade and move on? And there's so many incentives just to keeping your mouth shut. I guess I'm just

00:18:30.100 so surprised really that this is going on, not just in the big cities, but even in small towns and

00:18:38.080 states that are supposed to be pretty normal. Yeah. Yeah. And I mean, the city definitely comes

00:18:43.040 after me. I mean, they are at my doorstep at all times. The police are after me. And I mean,

00:18:50.200 this is whatever, you know, I have thick skin and they can throw whatever daggers they want at me

00:18:55.740 and I'll take them because if it helps save our kids, that's what I'm here for. And I will never

00:19:01.560 stop working for our kids. What do your kids think about it? They love it, actually. They're like,

00:19:10.020 my mom's a superhero. And it was funny because like when my little Olivia, when we got the mass law passed

00:19:16.300 in our state, she was a huge part of that. And I remember her going up to her principal

00:19:21.200 after we got the law passed that they can't mandate mask on. And she walked up to the principal. She's

00:19:26.300 like, Ms. Ryan, Ms. Ryan, guess what? And she's like, what Olivia? And she's like, my mom made a

00:19:30.620 rule and you can't put a mask on me. And she flipped her hair and she walked into that school. I was so

00:19:37.720 proud of her because she felt so empowered. And it was just like, yep, that's my kid.

00:19:42.380 Wow. That is fabulous. Oh my gosh. I love it. So, oh, I wish we had more time even to touch on

00:19:49.320 that. But you also helped spearhead the effort to get rid of the stupid mask rules. 0.98

00:19:53.860 Yes. I was the mom that was talking about my daughter had the staph infection and it caused 0.99

00:19:59.240 staph infection on her face four times. So we got a medical exemption to not have a mask in school.

00:20:05.520 And that's when they segregated her. They literally put her on one side of the room compared to everybody 0.91

00:20:09.380 else on the other. And so I am suing the Ankeny School District for the retaliation they're doing

00:20:15.280 with my child. A judge did come in and dismiss my case saying there wasn't enough evidence. So we

00:20:20.260 are appealing it and we are moving forward with the case. Wow. Oh, I just absolutely love it. You

00:20:25.920 just think of the irony here. The same people who are saying that it's of the utmost importance that

00:20:33.300 poor little kids cover up their face entirely with the mask are the same ones saying that you don't 0.99

00:20:38.800 need to cover up your legs or your midriff or anything else if you're a crazy guy dancing 0.99

00:20:43.040 around for the GSA club. Yep. Absolutely insane. Well, Kimberly, I wish you all the best of luck. 0.99

00:20:50.900 Where does the effort stand now? I mean, is it just at an impasse and you're waiting for a response

00:20:56.640 from the school board? Or how can people, as I suspect they're going to want to do, how can people help you?

00:21:01.600 Um, they can go to our website at iowamamabears.com and that's iowamamabears.com and they can help by

00:21:09.600 supporting or donating whatever you feel God leading you to do to help out. We are appreciative

00:21:15.240 of everything. Uh, that that's really wonderful. And since you're willing to give some advice

00:21:19.680 and, you know, help lead this kind of movement, I would be remiss if I didn't ask given all your

00:21:24.720 political activity. When are we going to see you run for office? I hope so. Cause honestly,

00:21:31.480 I think that's where God's leading me. And I mean, maybe in 2024, when I get everything off my,

00:21:39.940 all the spears off my back for now, but I think my fight right now is to focus on the schools.

00:21:45.160 And so this next year, I think that's my biggest thing is I have to be boots on the ground in your face,

00:21:50.720 um, to these people because yes, I can get a lot done being running, but I can also get a lot

00:21:58.240 more done without having my hands tied, just being a mom. Right, right. You, you, you clearly are,

00:22:05.280 are getting stuff accomplished right now would be absolutely fabulous. If you could run, I think

00:22:10.800 it's a really, really important issue. And I think, I think the left is running scared here. I think it's

00:22:15.860 totally a house of cards. You saw what happened in Virginia in particular, this transgender issue 1.00

00:22:21.340 in the schools, people across voting demographics realize that it is completely insane. And I know 0.91

00:22:28.640 that the squishes, even the squishy conservatives, even the squishy normal people, they, they, they

00:22:33.380 want to back away from it. They say it's a culture war issue. Oh no, I don't want to be called a phobe

00:22:37.620 or a bigot or whatever. Keep your head down. Normal people realize that this is insane. No sane person

00:22:43.540 with two brain cells to rub together and a moral conscience thinks that a pervert in a dress should 0.99

00:22:48.020 be dancing around for 12 year olds at the GSA club. Okay. So this is a completely winning issue.

00:22:53.540 I think you were doing a great job leading the way on it. And I think you're doing it in a way

00:22:58.240 that's very, very funny, but it's calling attention to a very, very serious issue. Kimberly Reichs,

00:23:03.340 I look forward to seeing the launch of your campaign and I look forward to seeing more

00:23:08.580 accomplishments in the meantime. Thank you so much.
