In the early morning hours of New Year s Day, a man with an Arab name drove a car into a crowded Bourbon Street in New Orleans, killing at least 10 people and injuring many more. The FBI initially said it was not a terror attack, but since then, they have said they are investigating it as a possible act of terrorism. Is there something wrong with the FBI?

00:00:35.720 Good Ranchers, American meat delivered.
00:00:37.720 Hey, everyone.
00:00:38.540 Hope you're having a good new year.
00:00:40.560 I'll do a full show on this tomorrow, but I just have to react to the news that's coming out of New Orleans.
00:00:44.600 If you haven't followed it, last night, early hours, about 3 a.m., a guy with an Arab name, allegedly,
00:00:52.200 drove a car into Bourbon Street, killed 10 people, got out of the car with a rifle, started shooting more people, injured dozens of people total.
00:01:02.980 I think 35 injured, 10 killed.
00:01:06.020 Then, happily, he was killed by police.
00:01:08.420 And the FBI's initial response was to say that this was not a terrorist event.
00:01:16.480 That was the first thing the FBI told us.
00:01:19.620 So, first of all, we should pray for the people who died and for their families, of course.
00:01:25.560 Second thing we have to do right after that is ask, what is wrong with the FBI?
00:01:31.440 Since then, now hours later, Alejandra Mayorkas, the head of DHS, has come out and said, no, this is being investigated as a terrorist event. 0.68
00:01:38.260 But this ridiculous woman, the FBI lead in New Orleans, comes out as the first thing she said. 0.95
00:01:46.200 Arab name, seems like a terror attack, carrying an ISIS flag. 0.98
00:01:52.040 And the geniuses at the FBI think the first thing they have to tell people is this is not terrorism.
00:01:56.480 So, that raises the question, what made them do that? 1.00
00:02:02.620 One, is it that the FBI is just that stupid? 1.00
00:02:06.560 Possible. 1.00
00:02:07.320 I actually think the more charitable answer would be that they are that stupid. 1.00
00:02:12.580 Because if they're not that stupid, it means that they lied to us. 1.00
00:02:17.600 Or, either they intentionally lied to us, or they're so blinded by ideology, blinded and committed to ideology, that they have to stop people from coming to the conclusion that is right before everyone's face that this would be a terror attack. 1.00
00:02:38.620 Kash Patel cannot enter the FBI director role soon enough.
00:02:43.560 There's obviously something rotten in U.S. law enforcement.
00:02:47.300 With law enforcement like this, who needs criminals?
00:02:50.000 With law enforcement whose first reaction to a major terror attack on a major holiday is to obfuscate?
00:02:58.520 To say, no, no, it's not what's right in front of all of you?
00:03:03.340 What's the point of having law enforcement?
00:03:04.980 Now, add on to that, a few hours after the New Orleans attack, you had a cyber truck explode at the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas.
00:03:16.320 Could be an accident, could be a mechanical failure, might just be a bum battery in the cyber truck.
00:03:20.800 Seems a little coincidental, though.
00:03:23.440 Seems a little coincidental that Trump's most prominent ally at the end of the campaign, and right now, is Elon Musk, the head of Tesla.
00:03:30.760 And Elon Musk and Trump were spending New Year's Eve together, though not in Las Vegas.
00:03:38.400 Last night, before the ball dropped, before the festivities really kicked off, lightning struck the U.S. Capitol.
00:03:47.900 Lightning struck the World Trade Center.
00:03:49.880 Lightning struck the Empire State Building.
00:03:51.460 Lightning struck the Washington Monument.
00:03:54.140 A priest friend of mine, a great priest, says that it is a wicked generation that seeks signs and wonders. 1.00
00:04:00.480 He's not the first to say it, but that it's a stupid generation that ignores signs and wonders. 0.99
00:04:04.420 So a lot of people were saying, is this an omen? 1.00
00:04:07.260 What does it mean?
00:04:07.920 Is this a good omen?
00:04:08.880 You know, okay, we're going to get things back in order in Washington, you know, come January 20th.
00:04:14.600 Or is this a bad omen?
00:04:16.200 What is it?
00:04:17.680 Hours later, the new year begins.
00:04:21.120 The first major news event of the new year is a terror attack.
00:04:25.680 That's 2025.
00:04:26.420 2025, we will get into all of it and a lot more on the show tomorrow.
00:04:31.100 But in the meantime, your prayers for those who have been affected, I'm sure, would be greatly appreciated.
00:04:36.120 And there will be updates if anything else happens, if another shoe drops.
00:04:39.640 Otherwise, I'll see everyone tomorrow morning.
00:04:41.300 Those sweltering summer nights that leave you tossing and turning, desperately kicking off the covers, don't have to ruin your sleep.
