The Michael Knowles Show - Michael Knowles Vs Dave Rubin ｜ FACE-OFF： Culture War

00:00:00.080 Hello everyone and welcome to Face Off. I am your host, Cabot Phillips. We're joined today for a good old-fashioned battle of wits between two distinguished guests.

00:00:10.980 First, we have Daily Wire host and best-selling author, according to everyone except the New York Times, Mr. Michael Knowles.

00:00:17.780 Michael, thanks for joining us.

00:00:18.940 Thank you for having me on my own show.

00:00:20.860 It is so nice to have you. I'm really glad that you could make it to your show.

00:00:24.000 And next is best-selling author and host of The Rubin Report, Mr. Dave Rubin. Dave, thanks for stepping into the arena.

00:00:31.540 New York Times best-selling author, begrudgingly, by the New York Times.

00:00:37.000 We refuse to acknowledge that list, but we will get into it now.

00:00:41.060 You guys will have plenty of opportunities to disagree in the next couple of minutes because we're going to get into Face Off.

00:00:46.980 Gentlemen, you've both been serving honorably on the front lines of a war, the culture war.

00:00:57.080 And because of that courageous service, you're both heroes in the hearts and minds of Americans everywhere.

00:01:02.060 But it's time for us to see how much you know about this culture war that you have been fighting, this culture that you are trying to protect.

00:01:08.860 This is Face Off Culture War Edition.

00:01:12.600 The rules are simple. I will ask a question.

00:01:14.300 You will have 15 seconds to give an answer.

00:01:17.040 On your whiteboards, you're going to write out the answer.

00:01:18.760 The winner of this competition will be the ultimate culture warrior.

00:01:22.100 The loser will have to read a 30-second commercial on their own show about why their audience needs to listen to the other guy's show.

00:01:29.000 Does that work for both of you? Do you both agree here in this sovereign place?

00:01:32.660 Absolutely.

00:01:34.040 I do agree.

00:01:35.320 I just want to say, as the elder of this game, that if this was 1985 culture war, I'd probably do a lot better.

00:01:42.440 It does strike me that if we're culture warriors, the whole meaning of that is that we hate the pop culture and are reactionary and don't know anything about it.

00:01:52.280 So this will be a true test of ignorance.

00:01:55.300 That's what we're going to call this.

00:01:56.320 That'll be the subtitle, A Test of Ignorance and Ineptitude from Michael and Dave.

00:02:00.000 All right, Michael, I'm going to toss to you because it's time to face off.

00:02:04.200 But first, I think you have an important word for us.

00:02:05.680 I do. I do. This video is brought to you by Exodus 90.

00:02:10.740 When you want to tune out all the nonsense in our culture and really focus in on what matters, Exodus 90.

00:02:16.040 We'll have more from them later.

00:02:17.480 But first, let us test our cultural knowledge.

00:02:22.040 First off, I'm jumping right into it.

00:02:23.820 This foreign Netflix series dominated viewing hours in 2021, more than doubling the next closest series with 1.6 billion viewing hours.

00:02:34.680 What was this 2021 Netflix show?

00:02:38.060 The number one show.

00:02:40.760 Are we ready?

00:02:41.880 They are ready to give their answers.

00:02:43.720 Gentlemen, what do we got?

00:02:46.000 The Crown and Squid Game.

00:02:48.780 The correct answer is Squid Game.

00:02:51.440 Yes!

00:02:51.860 Point to Mr. Rubin.

00:02:54.100 I watched it last night, episode four!

00:02:56.680 Man!

00:02:57.200 A lot of blood!

00:02:57.980 That beat The Crown?

00:02:59.200 You know, I watched Squid Game.

00:03:00.120 I actually enjoyed Squid Game.

00:03:01.640 I mean, all the show is is just watching Koreans get slaughtered, so it's a little dark.

00:03:06.440 But I did enjoy the show.

00:03:08.220 I can't believe that beat The Crown?

00:03:10.180 By a lot.

00:03:10.920 Wow, oh my gosh.

00:03:12.060 The Crown.

00:03:13.680 Bah, England.

00:03:15.100 We're over that.

00:03:15.960 It's all about Korea now. 1.00

00:03:17.340 It's all about slaughtering Koreans. 1.00

00:03:18.840 Yeah, okay. 0.99

00:03:19.320 All right.

00:03:19.800 You're not a big K-pop fan either, Michael?

00:03:22.400 I'm a K-pop impersonator, I see.

00:03:24.460 I'm more of a K-pop performer than I am a listener.

00:03:28.040 Important distinction.

00:03:29.280 Next question.

00:03:30.140 Kanye West came out in support of Donald Trump and stirred up a cultural firestorm,

00:03:35.840 but this wasn't the first time that he did such a thing and stirred criticism from his fellow elites.

00:03:40.460 Back in 2009, Kanye interrupted which famous pop star's VMA accepted speech?

00:03:47.400 I'm going to be very disappointed if you guys don't get this one.

00:03:49.260 Five, four, three, one.

00:03:58.980 Dave, come on. 1.00

00:04:01.140 Damn! 1.00

00:04:01.720 You didn't get it. 1.00

00:04:03.060 What did you write?

00:04:03.600 Taylor Swift, whom he did not let finish.

00:04:08.320 Okay.

00:04:09.540 Knowles is right.

00:04:10.580 That is right.

00:04:11.180 I already concede.

00:04:12.760 I got the question a little screwy.

00:04:14.440 He once did interrupt Mike Myers during that hurricane thing.

00:04:17.860 Remember that one? 0.98

00:04:18.760 George Bush doesn't care about black people. 0.68

00:04:21.220 But then I realized what you said and I wrote blonde girl.

00:04:24.780 I just couldn't remember her name, but she's blonde. 1.00

00:04:26.640 I knew that part.

00:04:27.720 Blonde girl does not count. 1.00

00:04:29.500 We've gone to the panel of judges and they have all agreed.

00:04:31.460 I'm the only judge.

00:04:32.140 I'm the panel.

00:04:32.920 It does not count. 0.94

00:04:33.780 You remember that George Bush does not care about black people,

00:04:36.460 but you did not remember that Beyonce had the greatest album of all time.

00:04:40.620 Of all time!

00:04:42.940 Yep.

00:04:43.700 Michael coming on strong.

00:04:44.940 Well done.

00:04:45.700 All right, all right.

00:04:46.720 Next question.

00:04:47.940 What is the full name of the race car driver whose winning interview sparked the infamous

00:04:53.500 Let's Go Brandon meme?

00:04:55.160 So which race car driver was being interviewed when Let's Go Brandon was born?

00:05:05.160 Dave, you have the shirt on.

00:05:06.520 Surely you can get this right.

00:05:08.240 You have the shirt right now.

00:05:09.560 I'm feeling pretty good about my answer.

00:05:11.840 Michael, what do you got?

00:05:13.340 Brandon J. McDrives a lot.

00:05:17.620 I feel pretty good about that.

00:05:20.720 Dave.

00:05:22.720 I also feel pretty good about mine.

00:05:24.540 And I couldn't quite remember his name, but let's go, Brandon.

00:05:29.340 Let's go, Brandon.

00:05:30.180 That is cheap.

00:05:31.580 The correct answer was Brandon Brown.

00:05:34.340 And I, for one, am shocked that, I mean, NASCAR's key audience is Yale graduates and

00:05:41.380 gay men in Los Angeles.

00:05:42.440 And so I personally would have thought you guys were all over the NASCAR race.

00:05:46.860 You know, there's a huge overlap between those two circles, by the way.

00:05:50.620 The Venn diagram is almost just one circle, but yeah.

00:05:53.580 Very close.

00:05:54.320 Very close.

00:05:54.820 All right.

00:05:55.100 All right.

00:05:55.300 So we're tied.

00:05:55.900 We're tied at the moment.

00:05:56.760 Yes.

00:05:57.340 Tied.

00:05:57.860 I don't know if you guys want to take too much pride in your performance so far, but we

00:06:02.120 will continue.

00:06:02.680 There's always room for improvement.

00:06:03.600 So far in 2021, how many of the top five worldwide box office movies were released in America?

00:06:12.280 So global box office performance, how many of them were released in America out of the

00:06:16.980 top five?

00:06:17.740 What do we got?

00:06:19.960 Two.

00:06:21.180 Wow.

00:06:21.760 Two.

00:06:23.540 You guys both got it right.

00:06:25.060 Well done.

00:06:25.700 Really?

00:06:26.060 It is two.

00:06:26.660 The top five grossing movies of 2021 so far, according to our Daily Wire list.

00:06:33.340 Number one, The Battle at Lake Chongjin.

00:06:36.340 Everyone crowdfunded there.

00:06:38.160 That was China. 0.87

00:06:39.520 Hi, Mom.

00:06:40.740 That was China. 0.87

00:06:41.740 Number three, Fast and Furious 9.

00:06:43.960 Number four, No Time to Die.

00:06:45.940 And number five, Detective Chinatown 3.

00:06:49.200 The first and second are obvious classics, and the third one wasn't as good as the others.

00:06:53.580 But all three of those released in China.

00:06:55.200 Did you guys know that?

00:06:55.820 I think number four is going to be even better than the first two.

00:06:59.860 Can I just say something?

00:07:01.060 I've been wanting to get this off my chest for a while, so this seems like as good a time

00:07:03.820 as any.

00:07:04.540 I've never seen any of the Fast and Furious.

00:07:07.860 I sense they're doing something quickly.

00:07:09.760 They're angry about it.

00:07:10.680 But I don't know what's going on over there.

00:07:12.160 I've never seen any of them.

00:07:13.360 No, I saw one.

00:07:14.660 I think I saw one or two.

00:07:16.880 And I actually went down to Cuba where they filmed one of them.

00:07:21.140 But I have never, I think there are superheroes involved now.

00:07:24.540 I don't know anything.

00:07:25.820 I know one of the actresses from it, but I haven't seen them.

00:07:28.340 Are you able to disclose which one?

00:07:29.780 No.

00:07:30.580 I'm afraid not.

00:07:31.540 We'll trust you.

00:07:32.160 Oh, I have a girlfriend, but she goes to another school.

00:07:34.300 She lives in Canada.

00:07:35.740 She lives in Canada.

00:07:36.680 We've all heard that one before.

00:07:39.580 Next question for you fine gentlemen.

00:07:42.320 These are not my words.

00:07:44.520 This is the word of the question.

00:07:46.240 This obese hip-hop artist is best known for her body positivity and revealing outfits. 1.00

00:07:52.240 She has presented herself as so sexually titillating, some commentators argue she can even turn gay 0.94

00:07:57.620 men straight curious.

00:07:59.440 Who is this famous obese hip-hop artist known for her body positivity? 1.00

00:08:06.660 So there are two that I'm thinking of right now.

00:08:11.860 This one has bragged about dating an NFL football player on the Minnesota Vikings.

00:08:18.320 That's not helping.

00:08:19.620 I don't.

00:08:20.180 It's a line from one of her most popular songs.

00:08:22.420 Oh, really?

00:08:22.940 Which I don't know or listen to.

00:08:24.620 That just, the producer told me in my ear.

00:08:26.320 Did they? 0.99

00:08:26.660 I need a fat female rapper. 1.00

00:08:29.180 I mean, only one's coming to mind. 0.99

00:08:30.840 I got two in one.

00:08:31.820 One though is like.

00:08:32.880 Rapper slash singer.

00:08:33.820 They say rapper.

00:08:34.560 She's a hip-hop artist in general. 0.99

00:08:36.400 Singer as well.

00:08:37.700 And she's obese. 1.00

00:08:38.900 She's a singer and a rapper? 1.00

00:08:40.160 Boy, she can do everything. 1.00

00:08:41.700 Five seconds.

00:08:42.940 All right, whatever.

00:08:44.480 All right.

00:08:45.700 Final answers.

00:08:46.520 What do we got?

00:08:50.800 Lizzo.

00:08:51.320 Lil Kim.

00:08:52.520 Lizzo was the correct answer.

00:08:54.440 Kid.

00:08:55.240 Yes.

00:08:55.660 I didn't know.

00:08:56.580 The other option I had in my head was, have you ever heard of the singer Cupcake?

00:09:01.720 It's like, Lizzo is like a Victorian opera singer compared to Cupcake. 0.95

00:09:07.960 Cupcake is just pure porn. 1.00

00:09:09.540 But she has like a music video on YouTube. 0.71

00:09:11.800 And she's like even more than, but I'm glad I got Lizzo right.

00:09:14.480 That's good.

00:09:15.080 Yeah.

00:09:15.180 Didn't Lizzo fight Spider-Man in that remake?

00:09:18.560 Wasn't that Lizzo?

00:09:19.380 Or am I thinking of somebody else?

00:09:21.460 I have no clue what you're talking about.

00:09:22.660 That was the Chinese release.

00:09:23.600 I would love to see that.

00:09:24.180 Was that the Lizard?

00:09:24.980 Maybe that was the Lizard. 0.97

00:09:25.900 Yeah.

00:09:26.140 Whatever.

00:09:26.780 Yeah.

00:09:27.860 All right.

00:09:28.540 He's up two to one.

00:09:29.700 Okay.

00:09:29.860 Gentlemen, can you name, and this one you only need to get one to get points.

00:09:33.940 Can you name literally any movie that won an Oscar this year?

00:09:39.040 Anyone?

00:09:40.280 In the year of our Lord 2021?

00:09:42.600 Correct.

00:09:42.880 And I have my computer ready because I myself am not abundantly aware of many of these.

00:09:55.400 Any movie that won an Oscar.

00:09:59.100 No, I know this isn't right.

00:10:00.480 I know this isn't right.

00:10:02.620 And sadly, music videos do not qualify.

00:10:05.200 So, Smokey Mike and the God King was snubbed because of its status as name.

00:10:09.720 It always is.

00:10:10.580 It always is.

00:10:12.320 All right.

00:10:12.820 What do we got, fellas?

00:10:14.800 I said the all-chick Ghostbusters. 1.00

00:10:19.360 Was that last year?

00:10:20.720 I don't know.

00:10:21.380 I didn't see it.

00:10:22.120 We're going to go ahead and say no on that one.

00:10:24.960 All right.

00:10:25.500 Got robbed.

00:10:25.660 That's oddly close to what I said, which was Shirley's Secret.

00:10:31.800 Now, that's just a movie I made up.

00:10:35.000 It's not even a real movie, but it sounds like something that would have won an Oscar.

00:10:38.760 Shirley's Secret.

00:10:39.740 It does.

00:10:40.340 Meryl Streep stars as Shirley.

00:10:42.520 She's got a secret.

00:10:43.760 Meryl Streep as Daniel Day-Lewis in Shirley's Secret.

00:10:47.700 Shirley's Secret.

00:10:48.740 About a gay 15-year-old. 0.84

00:10:50.720 With Morgan Freeman as God.

00:10:51.520 Yep.

00:10:51.940 Okay.

00:10:52.520 Hold on.

00:10:53.100 What's that?

00:10:53.420 I'm hearing that we might be awarding a point.

00:10:55.660 To Shirley's Secret?

00:10:57.600 Never mind.

00:10:58.440 No points for either of you.

00:10:59.500 I'm sorry.

00:11:00.640 Did Ghostbusters get one?

00:11:01.820 That would have been great.

00:11:02.700 I was at the ready to type in, to look up, and I started typing in the all-chick before 0.98

00:11:08.220 I realized that you were giving a completely ridiculous name of a movie.

00:11:12.720 Moving on, Aaron Rodgers recently got into some hot water when he tested positive for 0.51

00:11:16.720 COVID-19.

00:11:18.260 This result revealed that Rodgers never received the Fauci Alci.

00:11:21.720 He misled the press when he used what word to lead everyone to believe that he had gotten

00:11:27.940 the vaccine?

00:11:29.240 So when they asked if he'd been vaccinated, he used this word to maybe deceive them a little

00:11:35.200 bit.

00:11:35.660 What was that word?

00:11:36.620 And bonus point, if you can give the position and team that Aaron Rodgers plays for.

00:11:41.400 Five seconds.

00:11:56.600 All right.

00:11:57.380 What have we got?

00:11:58.120 Dave, we'll start with you.

00:11:59.780 I believe the word maybe was yup.

00:12:02.520 Would it have been yup by any chance?

00:12:04.980 It was not.

00:12:05.560 I don't know.

00:12:06.300 Okay.

00:12:06.720 It was not yup.

00:12:07.220 And I believe he's the quarterback for the Packers, right?

00:12:09.560 That is correct.

00:12:10.200 We'll give you some points there.

00:12:11.460 You earned those.

00:12:12.300 All right.

00:12:12.700 All right.

00:12:13.180 Thank you.

00:12:13.580 Is the word yes?

00:12:16.760 No, it is not.

00:12:17.920 Is he the shortstop for the Brooklyn Dodgers?

00:12:20.360 No.

00:12:21.000 No, he is not.

00:12:22.560 Unfortunately.

00:12:23.280 Okay.

00:12:24.000 The quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, the word he used was immunized when they asked

00:12:29.460 him if he had been vaccinated.

00:12:30.800 He said, I've been immunized.

00:12:32.880 Hmm.

00:12:33.680 I apologize that the phrasing on the question was confusing.

00:12:36.440 So I'm going to move on.

00:12:37.820 Okay.

00:12:38.140 So I got a point there.

00:12:39.620 We're tied.

00:12:40.080 You did get a point.

00:12:40.920 Oh, bro.

00:12:43.700 Which teen pop star went to the White House this year to promote the COVID-19 vaccine?

00:12:50.520 She filmed a video with Anthony Fauci.

00:12:53.020 Yeah.

00:12:53.520 Yeah.

00:12:53.980 The two of them were yucking it up, reading fan tweets.

00:12:58.280 Oh, man.

00:12:58.920 I do.

00:12:59.420 I remember this happening.

00:13:01.860 It's, it's, uh, is it that girl who licked the donuts? 0.94

00:13:05.320 Oh, God.

00:13:06.240 That doesn't narrow it down.

00:13:09.620 Who, I, I do actually remember this happening.

00:13:15.800 Uh, gosh.

00:13:18.720 Get a video.

00:13:21.200 Biden.

00:13:22.120 Did Biden inappropriately touch her?

00:13:23.760 Am I getting close here?

00:13:24.180 I think he did.

00:13:25.120 Yeah.

00:13:25.640 Okay.

00:13:26.020 He sniffed her hair.

00:13:27.080 All right.

00:13:27.360 I'm sort of remembering it now.

00:13:28.520 Four, three, two, one.

00:13:33.940 All right.

00:13:34.400 What do we got, Michael, to you?

00:13:36.780 Alicia Jones.

00:13:41.340 Is that a real person, Michael?

00:13:42.860 No.

00:13:43.400 But I knew, like, if I said Miley Cyrus, I knew that was wrong.

00:13:46.440 So I just, I just guessed a name.

00:13:49.560 That is unfortunately incorrect.

00:13:51.100 All right.

00:13:51.400 But if there are any Alicia Jones out there watching, we see you and we appreciate you.

00:13:55.700 Dave.

00:13:58.620 Lizzie.

00:14:00.620 Lizzie-o.

00:14:01.860 Oh, Lizzie-o?

00:14:03.160 Lizzie-o?

00:14:04.740 Lizzie-o.

00:14:06.040 The correct answer, gentlemen, was Olivia Rodrigo.

00:14:10.620 Yes.

00:14:11.180 I remember that, actually.

00:14:12.840 Yeah.

00:14:13.240 I had no clue.

00:14:14.320 Olivia Rodrigo.

00:14:15.440 I think she might be a TikToker also. 1.00

00:14:18.620 Aren't we all?

00:14:20.180 Who is the girl that licked the donuts and then she said she hates America? 1.00

00:14:23.880 Who am I thinking of?

00:14:25.260 That was, that was Michael's Italian country woman, Ariana Grande.

00:14:30.180 Ariana Grande.

00:14:31.200 That's who I was thinking of.

00:14:32.220 Thank you.

00:14:32.580 Thank you.

00:14:35.720 Did she date Pete Davidson?

00:14:38.640 Yes.

00:14:38.760 See, this is, I feel hip.

00:14:40.800 I know it's gross to think about, but yeah, no, I feel hip.

00:14:43.760 All right.

00:14:44.000 That's cool.

00:14:44.320 All right.

00:14:46.420 This NFL player became the first openly gay man to play in an NFL game.

00:14:51.980 Not an NBA game, Dave, because that obviously would have been you, NBA player.

00:14:55.920 Yeah.

00:14:56.440 Thank you, thank you.

00:14:57.300 First openly gay player in an NFL game, and he was promptly canceled because it turned out 0.99

00:15:02.940 that he was a registered Republican and had posted photos of friends in Trump shirts,

00:15:07.460 so he was canceled for that.

00:15:08.660 But first openly gay player in the NFL.

00:15:11.340 What was his name and bonus points if you know what team he's on?

00:15:14.320 All right.

00:15:22.520 Are either of you confident on this one?

00:15:24.800 I'm pretty happy with my answer.

00:15:26.840 I don't know if I would say confident, but I'm happy with it.

00:15:29.380 Dave, we'll start with you then, because I don't want to give Michael the pleasure of getting

00:15:32.660 to go first with how confident he is.

00:15:34.220 Yeah.

00:15:34.440 Well, I'm pretty sure my answer could get me in legal trouble.

00:15:36.880 I said Joe Montana.

00:15:38.920 We all knew it.

00:15:42.840 Everyone was talking about it.

00:15:43.900 I said Joe Montana, and then although I do know that Joe Montana only played for the 49ers

00:15:47.960 and later the Chiefs, I think maybe this guy played for the Tennessee Titans, whatever

00:15:53.100 his name might be.

00:15:54.160 No?

00:15:54.720 Not then?

00:15:55.380 No.

00:15:55.860 Not the Titans, unfortunately.

00:15:58.340 We'll have to reach out to Joe Montana.

00:15:59.680 I said Brett Liberace Favre, who played for the New York Jets.

00:16:09.240 People forget his nickname, but it was clear to those of us who were paying attention.

00:16:15.040 I was not paying close enough attention to that, for better or worse.

00:16:19.220 That is incorrect.

00:16:20.320 The player was Carl Nassib of the Las Vegas Raiders, formerly the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

00:16:27.660 Okay.

00:16:28.440 You guys are...

00:16:28.960 No points there.

00:16:30.060 No.

00:16:30.380 Although I'm tempted to give points for the Liberace reference.

00:16:32.820 Thank you.

00:16:34.000 Next up, this cultural figure claims to have seen aliens and recently said they would be 0.92

00:16:40.340 quote, absolutely open to dating an alien if given the chance.

00:16:44.160 Did you just use the singular they?

00:16:47.360 I did.

00:16:47.900 And might that be part of the question?

00:16:52.220 Somebody said this.

00:16:53.720 I know it was like a couple weeks ago.

00:16:56.440 I actually think I know the answer.

00:16:58.640 They would date aliens.

00:17:00.200 It was somebody like...

00:17:02.100 They also said that we should stop using the term alien because it might offend potential aliens.

00:17:08.980 Yeah.

00:17:09.480 It's a chick. 0.68

00:17:10.780 It's sort of like...

00:17:11.540 How dare you, Dave?

00:17:12.900 How dare you?

00:17:13.640 It's a chick. 0.68

00:17:13.920 I specifically said they.

00:17:15.140 It's a them. 1.00

00:17:15.720 No, but I think it's a chick. 0.96

00:17:17.900 She would date an alien. 0.52

00:17:20.060 It's like a Miley Cyrus.

00:17:24.440 Michael, do you want to give him a hint or do you want to...

00:17:26.480 No, I want to get the point.

00:17:29.000 Forgive me.

00:17:31.180 You got five seconds, Dave.

00:17:32.600 Three, two, one.

00:17:38.580 He's writing.

00:17:39.940 Michael, because you seem pretty confident.

00:17:41.280 We'll let Dave go first because I want to see the wrong answer first.

00:17:44.260 Okay.

00:17:45.200 Yeah, well, I don't think this is the right answer, but I'm pretty sure this woman is an alien. 1.00

00:17:48.920 I said Joy Bathom.

00:17:54.380 They are.

00:17:55.180 They are.

00:17:56.100 They is.

00:17:57.000 I'm so tempted to give half points, but again, the panel says no.

00:18:01.280 Michael.

00:18:03.120 Demi Lovato.

00:18:05.200 All right.

00:18:05.880 That is correct.

00:18:06.940 Thank you.

00:18:07.220 They me.

00:18:07.480 They me, as we now call her.

00:18:08.680 They me.

00:18:09.120 They me.

00:18:09.600 They me Lovato.

00:18:11.180 I don't know what she has done.

00:18:13.020 Like, I don't know why I know her name, but I do remember that she said she'd date an alien.

00:18:17.280 Dave, not a big Demi Lovato fan?

00:18:20.260 No, no.

00:18:20.740 She's great in that thing she was in, you know.

00:18:23.800 Like Contact?

00:18:24.700 Yeah.

00:18:25.060 Is that...

00:18:25.480 She's like from the 90s, right?

00:18:27.420 I don't know.

00:18:28.800 Before we get on to the next question, Michael, I believe you have another important word for

00:18:33.560 us that you alluded to earlier.

00:18:34.900 I do.

00:18:35.280 I have a word about the word of God, and that would be Exodus 90.

00:18:41.580 I want you to think back over the past 90 days.

00:18:44.500 How often did you eat a little too much, drink a little too much, spend a little too much time

00:18:50.100 in the office?

00:18:51.500 How many times did you ignore your wife, children, or friends just to thumb through social media

00:18:56.780 or watch Netflix or watch a game?

00:18:59.160 So many men today are distracted.

00:19:01.860 They're dependent on the comforts of this world.

00:19:03.660 They're not in control of themselves, and they can't say no to these kinds of things.

00:19:09.340 They're not free to do that.

00:19:11.460 We were made for more than this.

00:19:13.760 Exodus 90 is a 90-day program.

00:19:15.440 It gets us back to the fundamentals of the faith, prayer, self-denial, and fraternity.

00:19:21.020 More than 50,000 men from around the world, Catholics, Protestants, Eastern Orthodox, even

00:19:26.940 people who don't align with Christianity at all, have done this.

00:19:31.560 Of these men, 99% report experiencing greater freedom.

00:19:35.320 This is very important.

00:19:36.560 If we want to truly be free, it's not just about following our base desires.

00:19:40.300 It's about disciplining ourselves.

00:19:41.760 That's how we have true freedom.

00:19:43.560 You can check it out for yourself at Exodus90.com slash Michael.

00:19:47.320 That's Exodus90.com slash Michael.

00:19:51.640 I believe Michael is up 3-2.

00:19:53.400 Producers, is that correct?

00:19:56.260 4-3.

00:19:57.040 4-3.

00:19:57.620 Oh, you guys are scoring more points than you even imagined.

00:20:00.080 See, Dave got his bonus point.

00:20:01.860 This one, I'm confident that you two will get.

00:20:05.800 Dave Chappelle recently released a Netflix special that left a leftist mob going after him

00:20:10.980 once again for his horribly insensitive jokes against the transgender community.

00:20:15.200 What was the name of this most recent Dave Chappelle special that got the people coming after him?

00:20:22.240 The name of the Dave Chappelle stand-up special.

00:20:29.780 I think it's one word.

00:20:33.820 I think maybe it starts with a C.

00:20:36.460 Michael, what's that?

00:20:37.940 I said raw.

00:20:39.700 Is that...

00:20:40.800 I think that was that.

00:20:42.480 That was a different black guy. 0.96

00:20:45.200 Did I do a microaggression?

00:20:47.580 Dave, who did raw, Dave?

00:20:48.780 I believe that was Bill Cosby.

00:20:52.240 Ah?

00:20:52.800 Ah, you see what I did there?

00:20:54.200 Pretty sure it was, yeah.

00:20:55.380 That was Eddie Murphy. 0.98

00:20:55.960 I just wrote damn, because I feel like I should know it. 0.99

00:20:58.500 Yeah. 0.97

00:20:58.820 I skipped it a zillion times, and it's one word, and I think it starts with a C, maybe.

00:21:02.760 It does start with a C.

00:21:05.040 Closer.

00:21:05.840 The closer.

00:21:06.440 Yeah.

00:21:07.080 Really?

00:21:07.600 Well, I didn't remember that at all.

00:21:09.000 I should get something for that.

00:21:10.440 I should get something for that.

00:21:11.620 Unfortunately, not.

00:21:12.780 This is not a hand grenade.

00:21:14.160 You should get something for Bill Cosby.

00:21:15.920 That was pretty quick.

00:21:16.920 That was slick.

00:21:17.760 Pretty quick.

00:21:18.340 I tried not to laugh.

00:21:20.020 Next up, this one I've been informed by reliable sources that Dave should be good at.

00:21:25.720 We'll see.

00:21:26.880 Name three songs from the village people.

00:21:29.340 Oh, easy.

00:21:29.840 This is another one I'll need help from the producers on, because if it's not a certain

00:21:39.760 four-letter song, I do not know any of the other village people songs.

00:21:44.120 I mean, three is tough, though.

00:21:46.360 Do we get bonus points for more than three?

00:21:49.580 Going to the panel, and no, only three.

00:21:52.480 All right.

00:21:55.500 Do we get bonus points for singing them?

00:21:57.100 I think our audience would say, definitely not.

00:22:02.320 Please don't.

00:22:03.220 Got it.

00:22:03.640 I'm tempted to say yes.

00:22:05.200 How about you just sing, and then we'll just see where the points go.

00:22:07.580 Got it.

00:22:16.220 Seven seconds.

00:22:17.600 I did mine also in order of greatness.

00:22:22.060 Village people's a great group.

00:22:23.280 I don't get the hate on the village people.

00:22:25.180 Are you a disco guy in general?

00:22:27.360 100%.

00:22:27.800 You know it.

00:22:28.580 Wait till you listen to that Frankie Valli song that I've seen before.

00:22:31.560 Dave and I.

00:22:32.040 Do you like disco?

00:22:32.840 We text each other disco songs.

00:22:34.920 We do.

00:22:35.200 All right.

00:22:35.720 What are the examples we've got?

00:22:36.880 Let's see them.

00:22:40.020 I said YMCA.

00:22:42.260 Oh, Macho Man. 1.00

00:22:43.640 Damn. 1.00

00:22:44.120 Macho Man. 0.99

00:22:44.820 I said YMCA, In the Navy, and Super YMCA, which I feel like is probably a song, actually.

00:22:51.140 Super YMCA.

00:22:51.960 Yes.

00:22:52.700 In the Navy is by far the best one.

00:22:55.480 YMCA, number three.

00:22:56.640 And number two, Macho Man.

00:22:58.500 Yeah.

00:22:58.920 I want to be a Macho Man, you know?

00:23:01.560 I know you do.

00:23:02.780 I do.

00:23:03.840 Dave, what does it make you feel when you hear Michael singing in general, especially singing

00:23:08.400 YMCA and Macho Man and all those classics?

00:23:10.640 You know, Michael is a man who's very comfortable with his sexuality.

00:23:16.420 It's, you know, I like to think that because I am so profoundly heterosexual, you know, I'm

00:23:22.960 just brimming with that, that, you know, I'm restrained by the outer layer of dancing

00:23:29.160 to the village people.

00:23:30.980 No, no.

00:23:31.580 Trust me.

00:23:31.960 I know he's heterosexual.

00:23:33.080 Last time he was at my house, I tried to give him tequila.

00:23:35.620 He said, I only drink whiskey.

00:23:36.960 And only a straight man would say that.

00:23:38.440 Which it is.

00:23:39.300 Is that a straight, I, okay, I didn't even know that was a thing.

00:23:42.980 Okay.

00:23:43.680 Cabot.

00:23:44.540 Yeah.

00:23:46.140 Hope my wife doesn't watch this. 1.00

00:23:47.320 This episode's going in whole new directions.

00:23:50.840 We're going to go to the next question before this gets any worse.

00:23:53.100 Michael, though, you get three points there.

00:23:55.840 Dave, you get two.

00:23:56.900 Okay.

00:23:57.940 You know.

00:23:58.220 Oh, okay.

00:23:58.820 Good ratio.

00:23:59.080 Yeah.

00:24:00.360 Is that, I don't know if that's how it's supposed to work, but that feels like a,

00:24:03.440 I like that.

00:24:03.740 Which famous anti-Trump intellectual, I don't know if that's a super charitable name for

00:24:11.220 this person, but okay.

00:24:12.240 Which famous anti-Trump intellectual publicly admitted they were wrong about the Biden administration

00:24:16.620 improving the state of America, saying they are, quote, publicly eating their words syllable

00:24:21.520 by syllable?

00:24:23.140 I mean, there are like, there are like two anti-Trumpers left on the right.

00:24:34.400 Dave seems confident.

00:24:36.420 Dave's confident.

00:24:39.780 I'm going to, I think some of them are so completely far gone, there's no hope of them

00:24:44.720 ever coming.

00:24:45.160 So I'm going to be, I'm going to go to the one that I think maybe there's like a chance

00:24:49.120 that he would, he would come around.

00:24:51.000 No, no, you're wrong.

00:24:52.400 Am I wrong?

00:24:53.540 All right.

00:24:54.420 Let's let Michael go first, because Dave seems confident.

00:24:56.140 You go first.

00:24:56.940 You go first.

00:24:57.400 Okay.

00:24:57.820 I, I said it was David French.

00:25:00.280 I figured Bill Kristol, there's no way, that whole crew, there's no way, but maybe David,

00:25:04.900 because of like the pro-life stuff, maybe he would come around.

00:25:07.960 Dave, do you think he's right?

00:25:08.940 What do you think?

00:25:09.860 Well, he's wrong, but his, his inkling was right, but it was a sort of a trick question

00:25:13.600 because it makes it sound like it's a hardcore conservative who said it, but in fact, it is

00:25:18.600 mild-mannered neuroscientist and atheist.

00:25:23.260 Wow.

00:25:25.420 Wow.

00:25:25.900 Well done.

00:25:26.820 Well done.

00:25:27.480 You were right.

00:25:28.860 Michael's first inclination was to assume it was someone on the right.

00:25:31.220 Yeah, I did.

00:25:32.200 I did.

00:25:33.880 Well done.

00:25:34.740 Point for Mr. Rubin.

00:25:37.620 Dave, you talked to Sam at all lately?

00:25:38.940 I'm not mistaken.

00:25:40.280 No, he unfollowed me on Twitter. 0.85

00:25:41.480 I'm a right-wing maniac.

00:25:45.060 I hang out with you people. 0.99

00:25:46.220 You are.

00:25:46.700 You know, the liberals, the liberals are not nearly as tolerant as they pretend to be.

00:25:50.960 No, no, that, well, he's going to be eating that too someday, that unfollow, that uncharitable

00:25:56.280 Sam Harris.

00:25:58.580 Eh, whatever.

00:25:59.420 I genuinely forgot that that happened.

00:26:00.980 I don't know if I knew that happened, but I didn't mean to lead you right into that.

00:26:04.160 So we will move on.

00:26:05.520 All right. 0.99

00:26:06.180 They don't, they don't believe in God, but they believe that Trump is the devil. 0.97

00:26:09.160 Well, that's how it went. 0.87

00:26:10.180 Yeah, that's right.

00:26:13.140 Which musician wore a dress and prompted Candace Owens to famously preach that we need to bring 0.93

00:26:18.320 back manly men?

00:26:19.600 Oh.

00:26:21.020 Which dress-wearing musician?

00:26:23.560 Ah, musician.

00:26:24.880 Dress-wearing musician prompted Candace's famous rant about manly men. 1.00

00:26:29.540 This trended on Twitter for far longer than it probably should have.

00:26:34.800 Yeah, yeah.

00:26:36.160 I remember this one.

00:26:36.900 One of those, he's one of those guys, give me a second here.

00:26:40.280 One of those guys, a musician.

00:26:48.340 I'll give you a hint.

00:26:49.180 The village people would not consider him a macho, macho man, just as a hint.

00:26:55.440 Would, would they not?

00:26:57.820 Actually, he might qualify as their macho man.

00:26:59.500 He might, I don't know.

00:27:00.140 What do we got?

00:27:03.900 Let's see them both at the same time.

00:27:07.180 Harry Styles, Frank Sinatra.

00:27:09.340 Frank?

00:27:10.280 Old blue eyes?

00:27:11.200 Was it not him?

00:27:12.160 Are you sure it wasn't?

00:27:14.520 Harry Styles is the correct answer there.

00:27:17.020 I mean, he sang my way.

00:27:18.640 It's like, I'm wearing a dress.

00:27:21.060 He doesn't answer to anybody.

00:27:23.100 Yeah, you're right.

00:27:24.080 You're right.

00:27:25.700 There's so many just things I want to say about that impersonation of Frank Sinatra.

00:27:30.740 That was just, I'm surprised as an Italian, Michael is not just horribly offended at the

00:27:35.460 disservice you just did.

00:27:36.060 No, I'm just a friend.

00:27:37.200 I mean, Frank and his enforcers are going to come knocking on Dave's door later.

00:27:40.420 You don't get away with insulting old blue eyes.

00:27:42.460 Next up, who was named People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive in 2021?

00:27:49.840 I believe this just came out like last week.

00:27:52.500 People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive 2021.

00:27:56.080 And bonus points if you can give us his age.

00:27:59.520 Some people say that he doesn't age.

00:28:02.800 Hint, hint.

00:28:04.040 Who was People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive?

00:28:05.760 What do we got, Michael?

00:28:16.540 I see you.

00:28:16.900 It looks like you're drawing.

00:28:18.320 I was about to draw, but then you said, what do we got?

00:28:20.380 So I had to stop my drawing.

00:28:21.200 I had a good drawing coming out, though.

00:28:22.360 You can finish it, Dave.

00:28:23.320 Let's see your answer first while we allow Michael to finish his drawing.

00:28:28.980 The infallible Fauci, and I think he's 81.

00:28:32.580 Am I right?

00:28:32.980 I feel good about this one.

00:28:33.820 I'm the sexiest man alive.

00:28:36.520 Anthony Fauci.

00:28:38.280 I'm going to leave the Fauci impressions for Noel.

00:28:40.760 Now listen here, you. 0.99

00:28:42.360 You dirty... 0.98

00:28:43.080 It didn't turn out as well as I thought. 0.97

00:28:44.700 But yes, Fauci.

00:28:45.780 I said 80, though.

00:28:48.460 I'm very surprised you both thought Fauci would be picked as sexiest man alive.

00:28:52.680 This wasn't like time most important person.

00:28:54.600 We're talking sexy.

00:28:56.700 He is...

00:28:57.620 First of all, he's got a certain charisma, you know.

00:29:00.420 Power is the greatest aphrodisiac.

00:29:01.900 But second of all, I thought he...

00:29:03.260 I seem to remember that headline.

00:29:04.820 Yeah.

00:29:05.220 Yeah, I kind of remember that headline, too.

00:29:07.080 The correct answer was actually Paul Rudd.

00:29:10.180 No, that's not true.

00:29:11.480 I'm looking this up.

00:29:12.280 People Magazine, Paul Rudd.

00:29:13.880 It is true.

00:29:14.400 I saw the cover photo, and it's quite ravishing.

00:29:17.940 Oh, you know what it was?

00:29:19.480 Fauci was rated most handsome murderer.

00:29:22.280 I think that's what it was.

00:29:23.100 That's the one we're thinking of. 0.85

00:29:24.140 Most handsome demon, incarnate demon. 0.59

00:29:27.760 The Guardian proclaims Anthony Fauci the sexiest man alive, Cabot. 0.85

00:29:32.800 Well, we're talking People Magazine.

00:29:34.540 We don't believe in The Guardian over here in America.

00:29:37.160 All right.

00:29:37.960 Yeah, that's true.

00:29:39.140 Fair enough.

00:29:39.700 That's true.

00:29:41.240 Final question.

00:29:43.440 Final question for you, too.

00:29:44.340 Let's hear...

00:29:44.820 What's the score here, producer people?

00:29:48.960 8-6.

00:29:49.560 This is perfect.

00:29:50.300 Wow.

00:29:50.700 Okay.

00:29:50.960 I'm down two.

00:29:51.980 I thought I was down one.

00:29:52.600 All right.

00:29:52.880 Two-point question.

00:29:55.660 Here it is.

00:29:56.320 What is the name of the company that actress Gwyneth Paltrow created...

00:30:00.460 That features a candle inspired by the smell of her reproductive body part? 0.96

00:30:09.600 Gwyneth Paltrow, what is the name of the company that has a candle that smells like her lady body part?

00:30:18.000 I've been to the store, and I've smelled her...

00:30:20.940 It's goop.

00:30:23.700 Can you say on Daily Wire?

00:30:26.100 I don't know how that works.

00:30:26.760 I think you just did.

00:30:27.880 It's too late now.

00:30:29.040 And you gave us all that image in our minds now.

00:30:32.780 It is, in fact, goop.

00:30:35.580 Gentlemen, well done.

00:30:36.720 You both get two points.

00:30:37.800 But in the end, it wasn't enough for you to overtake Michael's lead.

00:30:42.860 Mr. Knowles, the floor is yours to celebrate however you choose.

00:30:47.180 Thank you.

00:30:47.680 I know that I technically won, but I feel like we all lost after that last answer.

00:30:52.320 So I'm just...

00:30:54.060 I will be content in my humble satisfaction.

00:30:58.600 Dave, thank you for coming on the show.

00:31:00.320 And I look forward to my wonderful ad read on your very popular show.

00:31:03.940 Do I do that ad read right now, or am I actually doing it live on my show?

00:31:08.700 I will gladly do it live.

00:31:10.160 You can do it right now if you would like, or you can do it live.

00:31:12.860 We're going to give you the opportunity.

00:31:13.340 No, I want it on his show.

00:31:14.540 I don't want it on here.

00:31:15.760 People are already watching me on here.

00:31:17.900 This is a very, very good point.

00:31:19.620 The producers, I blame them.

00:31:20.720 They said he can do it here if he likes.

00:31:22.440 I think, Michael, I think we should hold Dave to having to do this on his show.

00:31:25.740 That sounds like that was the agreement.

00:31:27.960 Knowles, you won fair and square.

00:31:29.620 I'll do a little read for you right now.

00:31:31.640 And then I will talk about this.

00:31:34.580 This very thing that we did right here.

00:31:36.980 The whiteboard and the whole thing.

00:31:38.500 I'll talk about it on my show and direct people to this here video.

00:31:42.080 That would be great.

00:31:42.760 That would be great.

00:31:43.280 I would love that.

00:31:43.840 Can you guys do a virtual handshake agreement first?

00:31:46.520 Thank you.

00:31:51.140 All right, we now have 30 seconds on the clock.

00:31:53.080 Mr. Rubin, this will go to you.

00:32:01.580 Listen, I want to tell you guys about The Michael Knowles Show.

00:32:17.680 He likes to drink scotch.

00:32:19.480 He has a lot of old, dead, conservative friends that he talks about all the time.
