00:00:21.960 No, dude, I smoke weed. I've been in therapy since I'm sapping. I watch like 90 Day Fiance,
00:00:26.480 say. Pawn stars. I remember my dad died and my mom was like, your dad's dead, but we got you a
00:00:31.920 PlayStation 2. And I was like, yeah, cool. I'm going to push my mom down the stairs and get a PS3.
00:00:36.700 Why do attractive women find Pete Davidson lovable? Why? Why are good-looking, successful, put-together
00:00:48.500 women, why are they drawn like a moth to a flame to skeet to this sort of meth addict-looking
00:00:55.500 sort of strange, odd, creepy guy? Why? Why? We are joined from Los Angeles by Lauren Smolka,
00:01:05.080 an actress, model, and host. A past Miss Hollywood who competed in both the Miss America and Miss USA
00:01:13.420 organizations. Clearly an expert on what attractive, successful, normal women think.
00:01:21.300 From Kentucky, we have Maria Montgomery. Maria is a former Miss Kentucky USA and runner-up to Miss USA,
00:01:30.060 which is the organization formerly owned by Donald Trump, has worked in SEC, Network Digital,
00:01:36.340 FanDuel TV, Pantene, Olay, and CoverGirl. And Deborah Schwartzman from New York, who recently dyed her hair
00:01:43.580 blonde, a conservative content creator from New York City, also TPUSA ambassador, and PragerU influencer.
00:01:51.180 Ladies, thank you so much for joining this scholarly panel.
00:01:56.620 I'm excited to be here.
00:01:57.740 Thank you for having us.
00:01:58.880 Yeah.
00:01:59.860 Lauren, I'd like to begin with you. Why do women find Pete Davidson attractive?
00:02:04.920 Well, honestly, first, I'd like to make it clear. I don't necessarily find him attractive,
00:02:12.460 but I can see why a lot of women would. He's tall, I hear. He's very funny. And I think he has a very
00:02:22.860 relatable persona. And I know he's been very open about his personal life. So I know a lot of women
00:02:28.720 love a man who's emotionally available. So he's funny, emotionally available, and tall. So there
00:02:37.180 you go.
00:02:37.500 All right, Lauren, respectfully, I am calling BS on two of those reasons. I think that's something
00:02:43.540 women tell themselves. Oh, no, we just want a guy who's funny. Maybe, look, maybe that plays some
00:02:49.100 role. And then the emotionally available, I think that's total BS. I don't buy that for one second.
00:02:54.320 I think nice guys finish last. But the point you make, he's very tall. That was my hunch as well.
00:03:00.860 I suspect it is because he is a very tall guy. And well, there are other physical rumors. Well,
00:03:08.980 this is a family show. We don't need to talk about that. Maria, one, do you find
00:03:14.360 Skeet Davidson attractive? And two, if you do or do not, why do women generally?
00:03:20.320 I totally agree with Lauren. I do not find him attractive. I think that is pretty clear for
00:03:26.900 most females out there. I do think the height does help. I have a hard line as a tall person
00:03:33.180 myself that I don't know. Height plays a big role in that. But also, let's be straight honest. He's
00:03:38.500 got the money to have the lifestyle that those girls want, what they don't need, technically,
00:03:43.300 because that gets a little sticky. But he does have the humor. I do agree that the vulnerability
00:03:48.080 plays a role in it. He's very open, which isn't probably always the case for whenever you're
00:03:53.000 dating other celebrities. And I do think some girls just want to fix other guys. I hate to put
00:04:00.200 it that way, but it is common to see a project, and then they want to dive in there and see what
00:04:04.860 they can fix or they can change, especially because he is so open about his past and his issues.
00:04:09.600 That's a great point. The fact that he's a degenerate actually is probably attractive.
00:04:16.520 So you're right. I don't think it's the nice guy thing exactly. I think it's probably that he's just
00:04:21.580 a complete disaster of a human being, and women are drawn to that like moths to a flame. Though I
00:04:26.880 have to push back a little bit on this idea that women are just drawn to his money. I'm sure lots of
00:04:32.720 women are drawn to his money. But think about the women that he has dated in particular. I have this
00:04:37.600 list here. Half of them I've never even heard of. Carly Aquilino, Kazzy David, that's Larry David's
00:04:44.520 daughter, Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley. I don't know who that is. And that's Andy
00:04:50.900 McDowell's daughter. I don't know who Andy McDowell is. Kaya Gerber is Cindy Crawford's daughter. I'm
00:04:55.840 assuming she's pretty good looking. Olivia O'Brien, Phoebe Dynevor, Kim Kardashian, Emily Ratajkowski.
00:05:04.800 So at least the women that I recognize on that list are very wealthy. They could just have the
00:05:12.640 pool boy. It's not like they're chasing some diamonds or something. They can buy their own
00:05:17.300 diamonds. So Debra, what's the deal? So I guess I'm standing alone here and saying that Pete Davidson,
00:05:25.920 I do find him attractive. I don't know. Maybe it's just because I'm from New York, so I like his style.
00:05:30.580 But I was going to say that he is the pool boy. All the women that he's gone for, they're highly
00:05:34.860 successful. They're very accomplished. A lot of them have had past marriages. And I think at this
00:05:39.220 point in their lives, they're just looking for somebody to make them laugh, to be romantic,
00:05:43.140 to have a good time with. They're not looking for that strong provider role, which he clearly is not.
00:05:48.380 They're kind of just looking to have a good time and to feel good when they're around him. And I know
00:05:52.820 that he's very romantic. And you forgot somebody on your list. There's rumors on TikTok of him and
00:05:58.360 Martha Stewart. No, what? Yes. Martha Stewart said on live TV, she would date him. And then there
00:06:04.980 was rumors that he was trying to hit her up. So I can't confirm I wasn't in the room, but there's
00:06:10.360 definitely a sense of power amongst these women that he's going for. And I think he's just the pool
00:06:15.700 boy, but with a little bit more money than the average pool boy. I love Martha Stewart. And I really
00:06:20.880 hope it isn't true because it will get me to seriously question her judgment. But you make
00:06:27.460 a good point as a New Yorker because Pete Davidson does not look like a Ken doll. Far from it. He
00:06:33.520 looks kind of like a rough and dirty mutt, as New Yorkers tend to look like. So I could see that
00:06:39.460 we tend to be attracted to the people that we grow up with, the sort of culture that cultivates who we
00:06:47.080 are. You bring up a very interesting point, though, which is that he has dated a lot of women
00:06:52.980 with past marriages. And not like long ago in the past marriages, like they just broke up. I mean,
00:07:01.760 most famously, Kim Kardashian. Kanye West and Kim, I don't even think were divorced yet. And then Skeet
00:07:07.440 just slides in there as the rebound guy. So do you think that's part of it, too, that these women,
00:07:13.320 you know, look, he hasn't married any of these women. I don't know if he dumps them or they toss
00:07:18.360 him to the curb. But this is not some longstanding thing. Is Skeet Davidson just a guy to have around
00:07:25.260 for a couple of weeks? And then these women get tired of him and then move on to a real man that
00:07:31.120 they want to get married to, Lauren? Well, I did read that when Ariana Grande was dating him,
00:07:38.020 she it was right after her. She had just gotten out of a previous relationship and she was heartbroken
00:07:43.780 and met Pete. And it was fun, but also very impulsive. She said, I think they were only engaged
00:07:50.960 for about two months. I'm sorry, dated for just a few months before they got engaged. And then shortly
00:07:57.060 after that, they cut off their engagement. So the fact that he has still very good relationships with
00:08:02.960 all of his exes tells me that he handles himself really well within those relationships. But
00:08:10.040 yeah. What does that mean, though? You know, I mean, the fact that he has good relationships with
00:08:15.520 his ex-girlfriends to me actually suggests that he's way more of a weirdo than I even thought that
00:08:21.080 he was. You know, it's just the whole thing is so clinical. He just moves on for a month or two at a
00:08:26.120 time and he dates these girls and then they're just friends again or something. It's just so
00:08:29.800 sterile and clinical to say nothing of the fact that he doesn't want to marry these women and
00:08:34.320 have kids and have a family. It's so icky and creepy. I don't, you know, I don't want,
00:08:40.160 I like to think that my ex-girlfriends mostly don't hate my guts, but you know, when I think about
00:08:45.840 a love affair, I want it to be a love affair. I don't want it to be some, well, we just had a
00:08:49.900 relationship for a couple of months and then we moved on and had a handshake. No, I want it to be
00:08:53.220 passion. I want Lord Byron. I want Casanova. I want these women to be pining over me at night,
00:08:58.300 howling to the moon. Okay. And nobody seems to do that with Pete Davidson. So Deborah,
00:09:02.840 since you're the only one who finds the guy actually attractive, is he just the sort of guy
00:09:08.740 that you would want to have a rebound fling with, you know, a shoulder to cry on who will get your,
00:09:13.700 your face tattooed on his neck or something? Or is he the kind of guy that you could see yourself
00:09:18.180 potentially marrying? So I think you're underestimating how romantic he is. There was
00:09:23.120 a lot of stories that came out when he was dating Kim that he would buy her so many flowers,
00:09:26.640 do all these little thoughtful things. So I think that aspect of his relationship and the way he
00:09:32.480 behaves with the women that he's dating, I think that's how he gets them because he wows them.
00:09:36.380 But I think this all comes down to his daddy issues. I love him as a comedian. He used to
00:09:40.600 always make jokes about his dad dying during 9-11. That's just his humor. I don't know. But I think
00:09:46.220 it's a lot of daddy issues where he like hasn't had a strong male figure in his life. So possibly he has
00:09:51.540 this very like emotional sweet side to share with these women. But these women come from such
00:09:55.980 powerful relationships in the past. They've all dated very high power men. And I think once they
00:10:01.220 realize, ah, he's not going to be mean enough to me or, ah, he's not going to be strong enough for
00:10:04.960 me. They just dump him because all these women have dumped him. He proposed to Ariana. He's initiated
00:10:09.580 all these relationships and he keeps getting tossed to the curb, but he's honestly upgrading.
00:10:13.880 That is true. If you're going to get dumped by these women, I guess, you know, if you end up
00:10:20.800 with Emily Ratajkowski or something, you know, that's not so bad. So you bring up the daddy issues
00:10:25.740 and I have noticed that about him. I mean, that's really the only fact I knew about Pete Davidson
00:10:29.680 was that his dad was a firefighter and was killed on 9-11. So obviously very, very traumatic thing.
00:10:36.000 And he would joke about it in this way that doesn't seem very healthy. But then again, I'm not sure I've
00:10:39.760 ever met a totally healthy comedian in my life. So, you know, they're all a little bit crazy.
00:10:44.300 And so does that play a role in it as well? That actually I've made a mistake bringing all of you
00:10:49.360 out here because you are normal people who are giving normal and rational analysis, but both Pete
00:10:56.240 Davidson and the women that he is dating are just completely insane. And there's no reason to apply
00:11:02.180 any logic or rigor to that at all. Maria? I think there might be a touch of truth in that. The reality
00:11:08.800 is these girls are boss babes. They are used to the spotlight. They're used to essentially running
00:11:14.180 their own business for what they do in the media. And I think someone like him, whether it be daddy
00:11:19.240 issues that maybe they may or may not be able to relate to, or maybe it's just simply that he's fun
00:11:24.560 and an escape from the stressful realities that they live every day could have a lot of weight and why
00:11:30.380 he keeps being able to pull these girls. And also, I think one thing to take into consideration is
00:11:34.420 paparazzi, they're, you know, they're following these people around. And so maybe they're catching them
00:11:38.660 in situations where it is still somewhat early and they are just that, that fun relationship,
00:11:44.100 that friendship, that, that rebound. And so to us, we take it as so much more serious,
00:11:48.300 but in reality, they are just friends. And that's why he's able to maintain those friendships after
00:11:52.420 the breakup. Possibly. I know there's some things that show in the relationships may be deeper than
00:11:57.940 that, but that is an option. Right, right. That's true. That the moment that Pete Davidson goes out with
00:12:02.800 one of these girls, it's all on the magazines in the supermarket, but actually maybe they just go
00:12:08.780 out on a few dates and they do whatever and then that's it and they move on. No big deal. Have a
00:12:12.760 handshake. Okay. That, that makes sense to me. Before I let you go, people write in all the time to the
00:12:19.180 show asking for relationship advice. Now, I don't think that a single one of the men who write into
00:12:27.600 this show aspire in any way to be Pete Davidson, but they probably want to land some gals who are
00:12:35.020 as pretty as Pete Davidson's girlfriends. So if we could do a sort of rapid fire down the line,
00:12:40.540 starting with you, Lauren, then Maria, then Debra, what do you look for in a man? What do the men
00:12:47.900 listening to the Michael Knowles show need to do to land the beautiful, virtuous, sweet little honey of
00:12:55.520 their dreams? Well, I, as far as confidence goes, like we were saying with Pete Davidson, I think
00:13:02.600 that is for me, one of the most important things. Confident yet has the ability to be humble. I think
00:13:08.500 a lot of men, their confidence kind of supersedes to where they can come off as arrogant. So I think
00:13:16.860 being able to be confident yet learning when to be humble in the right situations goes very far for me.
00:13:24.200 I totally agree with the confident part. But to take that a step further to just simply be yourself,
00:13:28.880 don't worry about who she dated in the past or what you think she may like, because it may be
00:13:33.520 incredibly inaccurate. So just whatever you can bring to the table, drop your guard and just bring
00:13:39.160 that to the table. And if it doesn't work out, it shouldn't work out in the first place. So instead,
00:13:42.720 if you're able to just be yourself, then you're going to be more confident, you're going to have
00:13:46.260 more fun, it's going to be more natural, it's not going to be forced. And ultimately, you will find
00:13:50.680 someone that is attracted to that. I agree with all the points made so far. And I would like to add
00:13:56.380 that if you're trying to specifically date a woman who's more accomplished, more powerful, or has just
00:14:01.340 had more experience in her life, I definitely think men need to channel this mantra of like being in
00:14:06.940 control, but not being controlling. Women want to feel protected, we want to feel safe, but we don't want
00:14:12.080 to feel like we have to ask you permission to do things. I want to feel like you're going to protect me and
00:14:16.140 support me, but you're not going to tell me what I can or can't do. And I think that's kind of his
00:14:20.660 charm with these women. He can control himself, he has stuff going on for himself. He's not trying
00:14:24.620 to tell them what to do, how to dress in a way that Kanye did to Kim Kardashian. He's just letting
00:14:29.460 them live while also being like, I love you, I'm going to support you, let's have a good time. And
00:14:33.200 what else can an accomplished woman want besides just peace and calmness?
00:14:37.000 Yeah, beyond just a guy who is easy to completely steamroll and just doesn't have opinions about
00:14:42.020 anything and is just a total, total loser. Yeah, no, right. Interesting. I think there's a lot of
00:14:47.940 truth to what you're saying in that you don't want a guy who's just got this iron tyrannical grip and
00:14:54.260 says, you know, I mean, I think frankly, Kanye was right to tell Kim Kardashian to, you know,
00:14:59.300 dress a little bit more modestly every now and again. But you don't want a guy who's going to be
00:15:04.000 nitpicking every aspect of your life. You want a guy who, just as you're talking about Lauren and
00:15:08.840 Maria, is confident enough to be a little looser and be, you know, just a little bit more normal
00:15:16.660 and have a kind of humility and not fasten that grip on power. Because very often we see these
00:15:25.940 things as opposites. Humility on the one hand and, I don't know, confidence on the other. But in my
00:15:34.000 experience, the most confident people are the most humble people. And the most boastful people are
00:15:40.260 actually the least confident people. Because the people who keep that tight grip on power,
00:15:46.300 they feel it slipping away. I mean, that's why when people feel their control slipping away,
00:15:50.400 that's when they tighten up. And so I could absolutely see that as being part of why some
00:15:56.900 deluded women find Pete Davidson attractive. And then, of course, in addition to that advice of be
00:16:02.480 confident, be humble, be supportive, be kind, be normal. I think all three of you would agree.
00:16:07.940 Be tall.
00:16:10.620 Absolutely.
00:16:11.460 Okay. All right. Well, good advice for everybody. Lauren, Maria, Debra, thank you so much for being
00:16:15.820 here. Just going down the line, starting with Lauren. Where can people find you?
00:16:20.540 Lauren Smolka on Instagram.
00:16:22.580 Okay. Maria?
00:16:24.320 Same for me. Instagram is going to be the best place, which is at Maria Montgomery, M-A-R-I-A.
00:16:29.100 Debra?
00:16:29.420 Debra. Also on Instagram, it's thedebralea, L-E-A.
00:16:33.840 It actually, it just occurred to me, as I said that, I said, wait a second, I've just done a
00:16:39.180 whole topic with beautiful women about how men should approach them. And then I just gave out
00:16:45.120 their Instagram. So apologies if your inbox gets, guys, don't be, come on, don't be weird. No,
00:16:51.120 none of the DMs, okay, to these lovely ladies.
00:16:53.120 I think we're used to it at this point, honestly. Yeah.
00:16:55.420 It's so weird. I'll slide into my DMs. I don't know. I could, you know.
00:16:59.360 Oh, well. I guess, I guess we'll have to discuss that on a later episode. Lauren, Maria, Debra,
00:17:04.400 thank you so much for being here. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:17:08.180 We will see you all tomorrow.
00:17:09.580 Bye-bye.
