00:01:00.000 That guy is not white. We've just been lied to so much. 0.98

00:01:03.960 That guy, no one would look at that guy in the street and say,

00:01:06.240 that's a white guy. That guy's not white.

00:01:07.980 How on earth, who could look at that guy and say he's a white guy?

00:01:10.460 This is how people become racist. 0.98

00:01:12.420 33% of the U.S. prison population is black. 0.94

00:01:16.320 What they call non-Hispanic black. 1.00

00:01:18.540 We'll separate the Hispanics. 33% black. 1.00

00:01:21.380 31% is white.

00:01:23.680 23% is Hispanic. 0.95

00:01:26.360 2% is Indian, feather not dot.

00:01:28.740 1% is Pacific Islander. This, according to the crime statistics. So my producers have asked me

00:01:36.700 to go a little bit deeper and to see if I could identify the race of inmates just based on their

00:01:44.940 appearance. They're asking me to racially profile people. He's black? This is in, Mr. Davies,

00:01:51.520 this is in New Jersey? Yeah, this is the New Jersey Department of Corrections. Okay. All right,

00:01:56.640 let's go take it away uh okay that would be an hispanic guy his name is richard acevedo

00:02:03.000 i would say that's pretty clearly an hispanic guy

00:02:05.960 he's white um hey you're white smile no look i should know look i should be on the guard for 0.99

00:02:16.420 this because they're what they're doing is they're lumping and people are not white they're

00:02:21.000 saying they're they're white but that guy is not white i mean look i as someone who's racially

00:02:25.740 liminal. I'm a little bit dusky myself. That guy, no one would look at that guy in the street and

00:02:31.600 say that's a white guy, right? I'm a 35-year-old white man. Okay, next one. Okay, that guy's not

00:02:35.880 white. That's Christian Argueta. Argueta. Señor Argueta is Hispanic. He's white. That guy's not

00:02:44.700 white. One's a baby and the other's black, I think. At least part black or Hispanic. Christian 0.96

00:02:53.900 Argoeta is not, are you kidding? Like, how on earth? Who could look at that guy and say he's

00:02:58.000 a white guy? Well, man, because white is actually a social construct. Whenever it's convenient for

00:03:04.620 us, say the liberals. Whiteness is real. It's objective. We need to abolish it. But when it's 0.99

00:03:10.880 convenient for us, like when we're classifying prisoners, then whiteness doesn't exist. Okay. 0.73

00:03:15.660 Next one. That guy also definitely not white. Luis Bernabé. So not only does he not look white, 0.94

00:03:22.240 he doesn't have a white name at all. 0.92

00:03:24.900 So it's going to be white, right? 0.95

00:03:27.780 Is the thing you're doing here 0.97

00:03:29.580 that they're all white?

00:03:30.840 Is that, is Hispanic? 0.70

00:03:34.660 He's white.

00:03:38.720 Before we go on,

00:03:40.560 is this,

00:03:41.340 because sometimes, you know,

00:03:42.440 Mr. Davies,

00:03:42.980 you send me news stories

00:03:44.540 and I look into them

00:03:45.260 and they're not really,

00:03:46.300 is this real

00:03:47.200 or is this like a Mr. Davies fact? 0.82

00:03:49.800 You're horrible at this.

00:03:50.980 I'll go in 0.99

00:03:51.760 and I'm going to let you try to find a white guy in a second.

00:03:55.000 I've got a few more just to get your opinion on these.

00:03:57.760 Hmm.

00:03:58.700 I mean, look, Javier.

00:04:00.600 Javier Betancourt.

00:04:02.480 He's not a white guy.

00:04:03.560 He's Hispanic.

00:04:04.680 But, like, I guess his skin's a little lighter.

00:04:06.960 He's not William F. Buckley. 0.97

00:04:08.460 But his skin's a little... 0.99

00:04:09.480 But he's not white.

00:04:10.180 He is Hispanic. 1.00

00:04:13.080 Wrong. 0.99

00:04:13.580 You're racist. 0.98

00:04:14.320 I know. 0.95

00:04:14.920 No, I know.

00:04:15.480 I mean, I know.

00:04:16.320 I think I figured out your game.

00:04:18.260 Okay?

00:04:18.620 Let me see the next one.

00:04:19.920 Javier Caban. 0.98

00:04:20.740 Again, like I get, no, he's just Hispanic. 1.00

00:04:23.300 He's like a whiter Hispanic, for sure. 0.99

00:04:25.320 He's not, he doesn't quite look Quechua or something, 0.98

00:04:27.760 but he's definitely, I mean, his name is Javier.

00:04:29.520 Javier Caban, he's Hispanic.

00:04:32.220 He's white. 0.94

00:04:33.940 He's white! 0.99

00:04:35.820 We're going to keep going 1.00

00:04:36.640 as we get to a couple more of the black guys, 1.00

00:04:38.040 just for content purposes.

00:04:40.260 Joseph A. Caban.

00:04:41.500 A lot of Cabans committing crimes. 1.00

00:04:42.900 Joseph A. Caban, that guy is Hispanic, 0.97

00:04:46.040 maybe a touch admixture of black.

00:04:48.000 Certainly indigenous, but Hispanic, for sure. 1.00

00:04:50.160 White. Yeah. Okay. When I see that, if this is true, I'm still reserving judgment on whether 1.00

00:04:56.420 or not this is true. When I have seen some examples like this, it starts to make you

00:05:00.740 wonder. You say, look, okay, white people in prison are vastly underrepresented relative to

00:05:05.900 their percentage of the general population. But then when you look and you see like all the whites 0.96

00:05:11.060 who are in prison are not actually white, you start to say, do white people commit any crimes 0.74

00:05:15.000 at all they must i'm sure they must but when you look at something like that you say do white

00:05:20.340 people commit any crimes in america next one okay luis rosario he is hispanic leaning black he's

00:05:28.720 like more black hispanic i would say blanish you don't believe me do you this one to me i i get

00:05:40.140 that this probably does happen but this one to me seems fake it's just too much no one would ever

00:05:45.520 look at that guy say he's white i know i'm a caucasian because when i wake up in the morning

00:05:49.320 i just have such a great life don't do not do not this that is not real that is not you're

00:05:59.420 gonna tell me that guy's white but that is not real that's like it's not that his skin is like

00:06:16.920 fully you know namibia part of darkness congo in terms of its tone but he's every physical marker 0.85

00:06:27.780 of blackness is there

00:06:29.580 and no physical markers

00:06:31.680 of whiteness are there.

00:06:33.460 So there's no way. 0.97

00:06:35.400 I need proof that this is not just a Ben Davies

00:06:37.760 fact. I need proof.

00:06:39.640 Is this just like some memes you saw on Twitter?

00:06:41.660 Okay. So.

00:06:44.440 Go to

00:06:45.200 offender information. Offender information.

00:06:48.220 Search. Search.

00:06:55.200 Submit. 0.85

00:07:24.460 Yeah, yeah.

00:07:25.340 Hola.

00:07:25.920 I mean, this guy, Ramon Rodriguez.

00:07:30.040 Hey, what do you think of renowned white guy, Julio Vasquez La Rosa?

00:07:38.220 I think I saw him at the Mayflower Society meeting the other day.

00:07:41.600 Were you there?

00:07:42.460 Were you there for that one?

00:07:43.660 This is how people become racist.

00:07:45.260 I mean, there are plenty of ways people become racist, but we've just been lied to so much.

00:07:50.480 I've got one more for you.

00:07:51.780 Okay, you got one more.

00:07:52.720 Let me see.

00:07:53.780 Check your phone.

00:07:54.960 Check my phone.

00:07:55.740 Where's my phone?

00:07:56.760 Are you kidding me?

00:07:58.580 No, that's not true.

00:08:00.300 That's not true.

00:08:22.940 a white dark place

00:08:23.840 I'm getting too radicalized 0.55
