00:00:54.940 That is Kevin Sorbo.
00:00:57.300 You know Kevin's been on the show.
00:00:59.180 Cameron Arnett.
00:00:59.960 I don't think Cameron's been on the show yet.
00:01:02.240 And I'm sorry to say this guy's been on the show for many years at this point.
00:01:05.420 Ben Davies.
00:01:06.420 Three stars of a new movie, The American Miracle.
00:01:10.400 Because our nation is no mere accident.
00:01:13.060 Gentlemen, thank you for coming on the show.
00:01:15.560 Good to be here.
00:01:16.380 For having us.
00:01:17.160 Thanks for being here.
00:01:17.600 Hey, I want Ben to speak as little as possible.
00:01:21.340 Kevin, since you're returning to the show, what's this movie about?
00:01:25.780 What's a good historical look at our founding fathers.
00:01:28.180 I was lucky to play, I'm going to say the younger Thomas Jefferson, even though I'm not young.
00:01:32.680 Because the older Thomas Jefferson was played by Pat Boone.
00:01:36.720 And I had a wonderful time doing it.
00:01:38.520 In fact, I'm going to be there, I think, June 4th.
00:01:41.360 They're going to show a screen for it at the Kennedy Center, which I said, don't you have to be a liberal to get into the Kennedy Center?
00:01:46.700 So I think we're breaking down the door so you'll be able to be part of something in D.C. that's just sacred to the liberals.
00:01:52.440 You know, I was at the inauguration, I was having a drink and a cigar with a senior member who's going to go into the admin.
00:02:00.500 And he said, Michael, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I've got to leave your party right now so that I can go to the Kennedy Center and hang out with a Kennedy and I'm happy about it.
00:02:11.140 I said, you know, that's how you know that Trump's administration is just completely upended.
00:02:14.980 The fact that you want to go to the Kennedy Center, that you're permitted in now, totally crazy.
00:02:20.160 Cameron, why now?
00:02:21.800 Why this movie at this moment?
00:02:24.660 What does it mean?
00:02:25.720 What are people going to take away from it, not just artistically, but culturally, politically?
00:02:32.600 Well, I think, you know, the atmosphere shows us that there's such a need right now for us to understand exactly what this country is all about, what we're all about, especially as Christians and what people that believe in the teachings of Christ.
00:02:45.900 And so for me, you know, particularly, I deal with the fact that, you know, Jesus says, you know, when you take a look at Luke 18, he says, come join my party.
00:02:54.600 So basically, you're dealing with the kingdom of God and, you know, he ends up being crucified, not because of his religious beliefs, but because he's actually a king.
00:03:04.320 And so right now we're dealing with the fact that we need to understand what really Christianity is all about and the founding fathers and understanding exactly what the basis of this country is because the atmosphere shows that there's such a need.
00:03:17.020 Yeah, I like the idea that, you know, if you're Christian, you have a very symbolic understanding of the world.
00:03:25.720 You know, if you're a Christian, there is no such thing as mere coincidence in America, in Timbuktu, anywhere.
00:03:33.340 You know, if you're a Christian, you recognize that there is a logic to the world and there is a God who has created the world and who sustains the world at every single moment.
00:03:41.260 Not this kind of deistic God is practically the same thing as atheism, which says, yeah, God created the world and then he just doesn't care anymore and whatever.
00:03:48.720 It's all kind of random and up to us.
00:03:50.300 No, no, no.
00:03:51.220 Things have meaning, you know.
00:03:52.660 So we see meaning in the American story.
00:03:56.020 We see meaning in the story of other countries as well.
00:03:58.820 And you can't, well, as a line from my priest, Father George Rutler, he says, it's a wicked generation that seeks a sign and a wonder. 0.99
00:04:07.100 And he's not the first to say it, but it's a stupid generation that ignores a sign and a wonder. 0.98
00:04:11.780 Mr. Davies, why did these guys let you in their movie? 0.99
00:04:16.960 Yeah, first, I'm really thankful to be here with such talented Christian men and also Michael Knowles.
00:04:23.780 And to be a part of this movie especially was awesome.
00:04:26.840 Actually, it's a great point that one of the creme de la creme, which they usually do, made a great point about, oh, the weather, this miraculous thing.
00:04:32.260 Why don't we just sacrifice a virgin to the devil, basically, to fix the weather? 0.99
00:04:36.640 And when these miraculous things do happen, a lot of times people don't look at, like, how and the moment that it happened.
00:04:41.220 This movie really covers that a lot.
00:04:42.940 There's so many miraculous things that happen.
00:04:44.880 You can almost track the wind patterns of all these moments where America would not exist today.
00:04:49.220 George Washington would not be alive, the Battle of Boston or the cross in Delaware.
00:04:53.560 It would not have happened if not for some miraculous moment.
00:04:56.440 Just this perfect wind that would come through, cover the escape, cover the movements.
00:05:01.900 And that was not because people were sacrificing virgin.
00:05:04.600 That was because people were coming together in prayer for these miraculous moments.
00:05:08.080 You don't hear about that a lot in school, which I'm so thankful for a movie like this to go public on June 9th through the 11th,
00:05:14.160 when it's going to be in theaters for everyone to watch.
00:05:15.480 There's some seminal moments like that.
00:05:17.160 And this happens all throughout history.
00:05:18.800 I know a lot of people, one of the more famous ones, too, is the Battle of Dunkirk.
00:05:22.940 What people don't realize is the Battle of Dunkirk took place in the exact same day.
00:05:26.300 It was the first national day of prayer.
00:05:28.160 And for this miraculous moment for the wind to cover the escape as the Germans are trying to bomb all these 300,000 people, 0.85
00:05:34.720 like, they just say, oh, it was miraculous, like, it was some brilliant move.
00:05:38.380 And it's like, no, it was God intervening in that exact moment.
00:05:41.020 And that's one of those kind of things that we highlight during this movie.
00:05:44.020 Right now, go to goodranchers.com.
00:05:45.960 Use promo code Knolls.

00:05:52.340 Did you know that over 85% of grass-fed beef in the U.S. is actually imported?
00:05:56.880 That is one reason that I trust Good Ranchers.
00:05:59.220 At goodranchers.com, they source 100% of their meat from American farms.

00:07:02.240 Good Ranchers.
00:07:02.840 American meat delivered.
00:07:05.260 You know, you see this in lots of great battles.
00:07:08.800 Like the Battle of Lepanto is a famous one in 1571.
00:07:12.680 When the Christians, they're just outnumbered and it's over. 1.00
00:07:16.540 And the Muslims are finally going to invade. 1.00
00:07:18.020 They've got the much stronger force.
00:07:19.760 They've been trying to conquer Europe at this point for 900 years or something.
00:07:23.600 And they're finally going to do it.
00:07:24.800 And then the Pope just makes everyone pray the rosary.
00:07:28.060 And he's like, you're going to pray right now.
00:07:29.800 All of you, all of Christendom.
00:07:31.020 And then we win somehow.
00:07:32.600 And they say, oh, you know, well, whatever.
00:07:34.160 It must have been the winds or something.
00:07:35.400 Yeah.
00:07:35.840 Yeah, sure.
00:07:36.580 Winds play a role in it.
00:07:37.780 But like, let's kind of look at, let's zoom out a little bit, guys.
00:07:40.280 In the American context, I mean, just all of these strange seeming coincidences.
00:07:45.800 The Pilgrims arrive on the Mayflower, which happens to be a great cigar brand, by the way.
00:07:49.440 And they get off the boat.
00:07:51.040 And then just coincidentally, two of the only guys in the continent who speak English walk out of the woods.
00:07:58.120 Even though the Pilgrims were blown so far off course, one of them, Squanto, could talk to them about his journeyings in Spain, in England.
00:08:09.380 They could talk about the same places in England.
00:08:10.820 I mean, how do you understand that?
00:08:13.120 The fact that the Revolutionary War would have been lost had not a fog rolled in during the Battle of Brooklyn at the perfect moment.
00:08:21.940 I mean, how do you make sense of that other than, I don't know, maybe there's a reason that we're all here right now.
00:08:28.720 So then looking ahead, I mean, the Libs say we're done for.
00:08:31.780 Many conservatives say we're totally done for.
00:08:34.600 Trump is saying we're on the brink of a new golden age.
00:08:37.960 Kevin, which is it?
00:08:39.160 The brink of a new golden age.
00:08:42.340 I like the fact that it wants to bring your golden age back to Hollywood as well.
00:08:45.220 I mean, look at the stuff we're going to fight with them.
00:08:47.220 I mean, the movies that we all do in this panel, we do movies that have hope and love and laughter and faith and redemption, things that Hollywood used to do.
00:08:53.540 We sort of picked up that mantle and do it instead of them because you see the movies they want to keep making.
00:08:59.080 I want to talk real quick about what this movie is going to do.
00:09:02.640 Tim Mahoney, I worked with him before.
00:09:04.040 I narrated a thing called Exodus Proof of Evidence.
00:09:07.120 We spent like a decade in Egypt through archaeological digs to prove that the Exodus actually happened.
00:09:11.960 It's pretty amazing.
00:09:13.360 And I did that probably about nine or ten years ago with him.
00:09:16.000 We kept in contact all these years and a couple of other things together.
00:09:18.660 They don't teach civics in school anymore.
00:09:21.020 Of course, they don't want kids to grow up learning as we the people.
00:09:24.040 So I think something like this hopefully can get into schools of all levels to kind of remind kids and college students who are kids nowadays as they wear their mask and complain about Palestine and stuff. 0.80
00:09:35.200 So I think that we need to have them watch something like this to give them a dose of the reality of how we became a country in the fortunate way we became a country because so many people take it all for granted.
00:09:46.600 And this hopefully this movie gets out and has a bigger opening weekend.
00:09:50.160 We need people to fill the theaters to get more days on this thing.
00:09:52.840 That's the tough battle independent movies have.
00:09:55.400 So please, tell your pastors, tell your religious leaders, tell everybody, flood the theaters when this comes out in June.
00:10:02.060 It's a great point that history really, you know, involves stories and it involves narrative.
00:10:07.000 And there's been a concerted effort on the left in recent years to change the narrative by which we understand American history.
00:10:13.900 The 1619 Project is probably the best example of it. 0.96
00:10:16.400 So we need to make sure that we have the proper story, a story that is more patriotic, that is more conducive to the flourishing of America.
00:10:23.360 And I think more grounded in truth than the story that the libs are trying to say.
00:10:29.660 So I know the movie's coming out in June.
00:10:31.740 Everyone needs to get ready and get your tickets and get totally ready to see it.
00:10:35.840 I really don't want to hear from Mr. Davies anymore.
00:10:38.480 So Cameron, I want to give you the last word.
00:10:40.640 How can people go out and support the film?
00:10:43.000 Well, first of all, you have to deal with the fact that, you know, we're trying to tell a story that, you know, is foundationed in the perspective of a Christian understanding of who we are.
00:10:52.940 And why we need to get back and maintain that kind of atmosphere.
00:10:57.440 That's just we need to make sure that we are the ones that are sticking to the scriptures the way that we should.
00:11:03.560 And I think that everybody should ferret out no matter what, where you are, find a theater, find a place, whether it's streaming, whether it's a DVD, whatever it may be, and see the American miracle.
00:11:14.280 Because the bottom line is that if we're going to have these miracles in order to continue to be the nation that we're supposed to be, we're going to have to stick to Christ.
00:11:22.980 And we're going to have to understand exactly how that works and how it began to begin with.
00:11:26.240 There you have it.
00:11:27.180 Gentlemen, thank you so much for coming on the show.
00:11:29.060 The movie is American Miracle.
00:11:30.580 Go out, support it right now.
00:11:32.880 And I'll see you all later.
00:11:34.380 And I'll see more of you tomorrow, unless someone breaks my iPad or something.
00:11:38.060 We'll get more in studio tomorrow.
00:11:40.260 I'm Michael Knowles.
00:11:41.200 This is Michael Knowles Show.
00:11:44.280 This is Michael Knowles.
